- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: now dig me or one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Thank God for it all the time too. Well,
- 2:15Speaker 1: here we go today. Since it's this time of the year,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I want to share something with you that I'll help
- 2:22Speaker 1: you because it's helped me. You know. I was telling
- 2:28Speaker 1: the story once that this magazine called rob Report, that
- 2:34Speaker 1: that was the statue I used to see for years.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I started buying Robb Report magazines um years ago. So
- 2:43Speaker 1: I just wanted to see what the fluent people did,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you know, I just wanted to see what people with
- 2:48Speaker 1: means did, what type of investments they did, what they
- 2:51Speaker 1: bought you know where they traveled to. Rob Report is
- 2:55Speaker 1: just like, Oh, it's like a big boy toy magazine.
- 2:59Speaker 1: You can see what cars is out. I didn't have
- 3:01Speaker 1: money for none of it. Just I was dreaming though,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know, I just wanted to see. And there's a
- 3:08Speaker 1: statue inside this magazine of this man who was coming
- 3:14Speaker 1: out of this bronze rock. And he was completely bronze,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and he was muscular, and you know, he didn't look
- 3:21Speaker 1: nothing like me, but he was a man coming up
- 3:23Speaker 1: out of a rock. And he had a huge hammer
- 3:26Speaker 1: and a chisel in his hand. And as his body
- 3:30Speaker 1: from the waist up was coming out of this huge
- 3:32Speaker 1: piece of stone, you could see where it was him
- 3:35Speaker 1: who had been chiseling and forming himself. So the name
- 3:38Speaker 1: of the statue was self made Man. And for years
- 3:43Speaker 1: man I said, Man, I'm gonna get a big house
- 3:45Speaker 1: one day, and I'm gonna put that statue in the
- 3:47Speaker 1: backyard in the corner. That's gonna be my little spot
- 3:50Speaker 1: where I go chill, because I'm a self made man. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 1: after years of working at becoming somebody and having reached
- 4:02Speaker 1: a degree of success I have, I would have nothing
- 4:08Speaker 1: to do with that statue. There's nothing about that statue
- 4:11Speaker 1: that appeals to me anymore. Because on my journey and
- 4:16Speaker 1: in my quest to become what I thought would be
- 4:19Speaker 1: this self made man, why I could put this statue
- 4:22Speaker 1: and had a statue in the corner be kind of
- 4:24Speaker 1: cold symbolizing it, I had made it. I realized on
- 4:28Speaker 1: my journey there's no such thing as a self made man.
- 4:32Speaker 1: That we all need help, and that God places people
- 4:37Speaker 1: in our paths along the way that benefit us oftentimes,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and it's the most unlikely person off the times, and
- 4:45Speaker 1: it's the most unlikely way that He presents these people
- 4:49Speaker 1: in front of you is crazy. How he does it, man.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:55Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:03Speaker 1: needed help and I've learned a lot of things like
- 5:06Speaker 1: this along the way. And at this part of the year,
- 5:10Speaker 1: the part I wanted to share with you all about
- 5:12Speaker 1: this is you've got to develop You've got to develop
- 5:17Speaker 1: a sense of purpose. Now, notice what I said. I
- 5:21Speaker 1: said you have to develop a sense of purpose. I
- 5:24Speaker 1: didn't say you had to go out and figure out
- 5:26Speaker 1: a purpose. You have to develop a sense of purpose.
- 5:30Speaker 1: That's different. See your purpose, it's created for you by God.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Because when He created you as an individual from whatever
- 5:43Speaker 1: two parents you may have, that's not important here. When
- 5:48Speaker 1: he created you, he had something in mind for you.
- 5:53Speaker 1: M hm. You you follow me? Now, When he created you,
- 5:57Speaker 1: he had something in mind for you, and it was
- 6:01Speaker 1: a purpose. God has not created a single soul to
- 6:03Speaker 1: become a criminal. God has never created a single soul
- 6:08Speaker 1: to be a drug dealer, to become an addict, to
- 6:12Speaker 1: become an alcoholic, to become an abuser, a molester, a Cheatah,
- 6:18Speaker 1: he didn't create none of this. This came about through
- 6:21Speaker 1: some decisions we made as sinners, and we stayed in
- 6:25Speaker 1: that place. But see what he created us. He had
- 6:30Speaker 1: a He has a wonderful idea for us. But God
- 6:34Speaker 1: gives us human beings this thing called choice, and we
- 6:37Speaker 1: have the power to decide. So you can decide if
- 6:40Speaker 1: you're going to adhere to the purpose that God created
- 6:43Speaker 1: you and made you for, or you can go ahead
- 6:46Speaker 1: and make some choices on your own. So like, if
- 6:51Speaker 1: God wanted to give your life and give it, come
- 6:53Speaker 1: to you and give you life more abundantly, and that's
- 6:56Speaker 1: his promise. If you come to him. If you choose him,
- 7:00Speaker 1: then cool. But if you say, well this ain't moving
- 7:03Speaker 1: along fast enough, I'm gonna get my own life of abundance,
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna start slinging. Well, guess what now you've made
- 7:11Speaker 1: a decision. And see God's decisions and choices. The one
- 7:15Speaker 1: thing I learned about them from Bishop Kenneth Oma, God's decisions, choices,
- 7:20Speaker 1: his voice, It has no sin in it. Ain't it
- 7:23Speaker 1: amazing how many people that came up to you and say,
- 7:25Speaker 1: the Lord wanted me to do this to you, and
- 7:27Speaker 1: I'm doing it. That God is punishing you, and I'm
- 7:29Speaker 1: doing this to you because God gonna see that you
- 7:32Speaker 1: get your day. Who who is this person? Who is
- 7:35Speaker 1: this person that God all of a sudden gave this
- 7:39Speaker 1: authority and power to God didn't get that the nobody, man,
- 7:43Speaker 1: no body, this person or had a right to hold
- 7:45Speaker 1: you to your past, the right to make you pay.
- 7:50Speaker 1: So who makes them pay when they make mistakes? Because
- 7:52Speaker 1: they all make them. So when I say you have
- 7:55Speaker 1: to have a sense of you have to develop a
- 7:57Speaker 1: strong sense of purpose. That means you have to strongly
- 8:01Speaker 1: get in touch with your creator to find out what
- 8:03Speaker 1: the purpose you were created for. See it's it's it's
- 8:07Speaker 1: two things that I had to learn along the way
- 8:09Speaker 1: my career. My career was what I was paid for.
- 8:15Speaker 1: My calling is what I was made for. See, it's
- 8:19Speaker 1: two different things, folks. It took me a long time
- 8:23Speaker 1: to learn it. And some people never really. Some people
- 8:26Speaker 1: think that they calling is to be a performer. Well,
- 8:30Speaker 1: that's what you paid for, and a big part of
- 8:33Speaker 1: your life is your performance is tied directly to your gift.
- 8:37Speaker 1: But what you made for, though, what you made for
- 8:40Speaker 1: is to bring about some significant change in another human
- 8:44Speaker 1: beings lives because we are all linked together in this chain.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's what you are here for. Everybody has a purpose
- 8:52Speaker 1: to do something wonderful, meaningful, or impactful for another person.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Show me the person that's not made for that. I
- 9:02Speaker 1: just want to know, who is it made to do that?
- 9:06Speaker 1: Who is it made to do something that will that
- 9:10Speaker 1: will affect the life for the betterment and improvement of
- 9:15Speaker 1: another person or people. You think the guy that invented
- 9:19Speaker 1: the airplane was merely inventing the airplane so he could fly. No,
- 9:25Speaker 1: his purpose, His purpose was to become an inventor to
- 9:30Speaker 1: come up with this invention so he could fly and
- 9:33Speaker 1: we all fly. See. Sometimes God will make you successful
- 9:38Speaker 1: so you can become successful, so you can turn around
- 9:40Speaker 1: to teach other people how to become successful. God save people,
- 9:45Speaker 1: so you can turn around it tell other people how
- 9:47Speaker 1: wonderful it is to be saved. You see how this
- 9:49Speaker 1: thing work. That's what we have to do with people.
- 9:54Speaker 1: And it's nothing that we have to go and discover.
- 9:56Speaker 1: We have to go and develop it. But if you
- 9:58Speaker 1: haven't discovered your purpose, it's simply because here's it. If
- 10:02Speaker 1: you haven't discovered your purpose is simply because you have
- 10:07Speaker 1: not contacted the creator and maker of your soul to
- 10:13Speaker 1: ask and find out why you were created. It's as
- 10:20Speaker 1: simple as that. If you buy a Toyota, there's an
- 10:26Speaker 1: owner's manual on the inside that will tell you everything
- 10:30Speaker 1: you know, how to best operate your toyota, how to
- 10:34Speaker 1: make it work, how how we to do and they
- 10:36Speaker 1: got a troubleshooting section. Your faith is the same thing
- 10:41Speaker 1: as an owner's manual in your car. Open up that book, man,
- 10:46Speaker 1: find out how to jump start your life, how to
- 10:49Speaker 1: troubleshoot it and get on with your life and find
- 10:52Speaker 1: out your purpose and develop a strong sense of purpose.
- 10:55Speaker 1: This year. All right, okay, cool, you're listening to the show.
- 11:02Speaker 1: All right, ladies and gentlemen, Good morning, good, good morning
- 11:07Speaker 1: to all of you. This show today it's being dedicated
- 11:14Speaker 1: anybody who has captured or has possession of a tiger.
- 11:24Speaker 1: To all of you who have captured, rastle or on
- 11:29Speaker 1: a tiger, congratulations, dedicated to y'all. We are we always
- 11:36Speaker 1: dedicate our show to the forgotten ones. You know what
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm saying, Just just hopening this up a little bit. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: what's up? Shirley, Hey, Steve, how are you doing? What is?
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's my tiger? Sound? Now? This is a dog love
- 11:58Speaker 1: making animals sound. They're the same thing. One of them
- 12:03Speaker 1: is just sick doing y'all. Morning, up, morning, everybody. What's happening?
- 12:10Speaker 1: Who number two? What is going on? Everybody? Watch out
- 12:15Speaker 1: there now, watch out there now? Yeah, well yeah we're watching.
- 12:29Speaker 1: They never let you do that over not that man,
- 12:39Speaker 1: because that's a lot. That's enough enough it is. But
- 12:45Speaker 1: I'm one more because I'm making they're doing me and him.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm good, last one here. I'm so happy. I'm so happy.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But you know there's a different plantation, which means your
- 13:03Speaker 1: ass still got pick cotton. Yeah, you're gonna you're gonna
- 13:07Speaker 1: do your share over here. Don't think that you've been sold.
- 13:13Speaker 1: You're gonna be laid up under a tree and not
- 13:15Speaker 1: doing him thing. Also, I want to dedicate the show
- 13:21Speaker 1: in an a Tommy. Oh yeah, in an a Tommy
- 13:25Speaker 1: your nephew. Why yeah, uh, you know, for little people.
- 13:31Speaker 1: And I'm not talking about tiny Timmy, Tiny Timmy and tigers.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Didn't he have a company called T N T. Tom
- 13:50Speaker 1: Oh man, this show is are you sure? Oh? I'm
- 13:54Speaker 1: so happy here being a little bit later today. But
- 13:57Speaker 1: you know one thing about this show, it goes on man,
- 14:00Speaker 1: because we got stars on this show. Baby, we got
- 14:03Speaker 1: real stars on this ship. It wants and I'm gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: say it again, camp ship king. That's what this is.
- 14:12Speaker 1: No one says it's quite like you m champishiping boy
- 14:19Speaker 1: Shampi And no you can't say that camp Kip man anyway,
- 14:28Speaker 1: don't be ignorant to me. I think So it's Friday.
- 14:30Speaker 1: It always is all right, coming up something funny. When
- 14:35Speaker 1: we come back at thirty or four after you're listening
- 14:38Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show, it is time for something funny.
- 14:44Speaker 1: When you know it is time to take yo. But
- 14:51Speaker 1: you know, I mean you you get up and you
- 14:53Speaker 1: go whoa, I need to go get somebody needs to
- 14:56Speaker 1: lay hands on me right now. Jesus j up, jeez,
- 15:01Speaker 1: how did I get here? When you wake up and

- 15:07Speaker 1: is time to who you talk about backsliding? Yeah? How
- 15:16Speaker 1: long we've been laying Why I got handcuffs? Yeah, it's
- 15:26Speaker 1: try to go back in church. When you wake up
- 15:28Speaker 1: in this bike box, O, you can't explain nothing. Who

- 15:37Speaker 1: It's when you wake up and you got her phone

- 16:58Speaker 1: watering gaze get turned off, you can't do nothing. It's
- 17:03Speaker 1: time to go that. You know it's time to go
- 17:07Speaker 1: back when you wake up and your whole chest is
- 17:11Speaker 1: perd back. Time of you to go back to the church.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You've been arguing with this fine girl for on ahead,

- 30:56Speaker 1: I don't get through. Wasn't feeling what I was feeling.
- 31:02Speaker 1: But I'm using the bathroom so much that is alarming

- 31:28Speaker 1: to my relief, but I'm sweating though I'm talking about
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm in my shirt wide. I hadn't put my whole shirt,
- 31:40Speaker 1: it's wide. I had hung my past up on the
- 31:44Speaker 1: back of the joke because I used a bathroom like
- 31:48Speaker 1: my daddy always hated my pants and drawls up on
- 31:51Speaker 1: the back of the Yeah, you don't ever use the bathroom.
- 31:56Speaker 1: But I got my shirt on, but I didn't open

- 32:01Speaker 1: come down out the front. So I stand up and
- 32:07Speaker 1: I flushed the toilet. Now I'm putting my clothes on.

- 32:41Speaker 1: not in here. We have to have a part three.
- 32:43Speaker 1: This ain't the time for it. Lord, stop the swirl
- 32:51Speaker 1: from rising. Father, God, never give me now, old God,
- 33:00Speaker 1: we have to go to miss Anne. So I will.
- 33:02Speaker 1: But Jesus fill it in stoming good part too. Right

- 35:53Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve
- 35:57Speaker 1: Harvey Show. Here we are, Steve out back, just catch up.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I'm over this fine girl house stomach tow up the
- 36:05Speaker 1: eight creo food seventeen. Should have went home to use
- 36:09Speaker 1: the bathroom. Set fine. Now I'm in here using the
- 36:13Speaker 1: bathroom and all held and broke lusive. I'm in here
- 36:17Speaker 1: neck it, sitting on the corner, just my shirt on.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Because I like to ship wine. I like to be
- 36:23Speaker 1: open and free, and I need it because I had
- 36:25Speaker 1: to brace myself a couple of times. But she never
- 36:28Speaker 1: came in there. Not yet she coming, that's coming in
- 36:32Speaker 1: the store. So I'm get up. I finally get through,
- 36:35Speaker 1: but I've noticed that I'm putting more in the bowls
- 36:38Speaker 1: and ever, so I'm a little bit concerned with them
- 36:42Speaker 1: ship volume. So I flushed the toilet as I'm putting
- 36:45Speaker 1: my pants back up on me, and I'm waiting to
- 36:48Speaker 1: hear that. But I don't hear it, and I looked back,
- 36:56Speaker 1: just going in a slow circle. So I go in.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I go to my heavenly fa he father dog, Now Lord,
- 37:07Speaker 1: stop this rising time. Wow, somebound don't let this swirl
- 37:14Speaker 1: get up by the top. But he didn't hear me
- 37:16Speaker 1: that day. I guess it wasn't less. Next thing I know,
- 37:21Speaker 1: it's at the very top of the tarlet. Oh my god,
- 37:24Speaker 1: and it's about to flow over. So now I don't
- 37:29Speaker 1: know what to do. So I looked down and it's
- 37:33Speaker 1: a trash can. So I dipped the trash can down
- 37:38Speaker 1: in it, and I got a trash can full of
- 37:41Speaker 1: it here. So I pulled a shower curtin back and
- 37:46Speaker 1: throw it in the bath too, when here comes some
- 37:51Speaker 1: more come. So I had to take another trash can
- 37:56Speaker 1: full of it and throw another trash can in the bath.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And here comes some damn more. So now I realized
- 38:04Speaker 1: they call it is broke. They backed up and it
- 38:11Speaker 1: started going back down. Did I say, I gotta get
- 38:16Speaker 1: some water and put it in here. So I started
- 38:18Speaker 1: running water in the trash can to pour down there
- 38:22Speaker 1: and make the water go clean. So I finally did that,
- 38:26Speaker 1: and I said, thank you Lord. And I looked over
- 38:30Speaker 1: and the damn bath tub right shower, this trap I
- 38:41Speaker 1: look up, it's on the wall. It's on the water.
- 38:47Speaker 1: For part four, this is this is R. Kelly's in
- 38:51Speaker 1: the closet, and this is Steve Hollis in the bathroom.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Trapped parts folks coming upright, trapped in the broth apart
- 39:02Speaker 1: folk gets on the walls, the shower curtain and the
- 39:05Speaker 1: bathtub is shot. You're listening, Steve, Steve trapped in the bath. Yeah.
- 39:16Speaker 1: I didn't bail about three buckets trash hands a pure mess,
- 39:22Speaker 1: then thrown it in the shower. So when I get
- 39:26Speaker 1: all of the water back in the tarlet where I
- 39:28Speaker 1: got it, sometime in the water clean, I said Okay,
- 39:31Speaker 1: I look over. The damn bathtub is striped. So now
- 39:37Speaker 1: I cut skise people shower on and I'm washing down
- 39:43Speaker 1: the walls, the shower curtain with the shower. The girl
- 39:47Speaker 1: comes up to the girl because I've been in here
- 39:49Speaker 1: now about for the five minutes time. So she said,
- 39:55Speaker 1: you came down everything fast. She said, it sounds like
- 40:03Speaker 1: something wrong. Now get away from the house. So I'm
- 40:13Speaker 1: in there's this too late. But I noticed they got
- 40:17Speaker 1: a candle in the bath food. I light it. I
- 40:21Speaker 1: light the candle, start striking matches and running tap water.
- 40:25Speaker 1: For my mom always told me strike some matches and
- 40:27Speaker 1: run some tap water and to help you get rid
- 40:29Speaker 1: of older. So I've been there. But now I'm washing
- 40:32Speaker 1: down a shower, curtains, walls, the bathtub, getting up stuff
- 40:36Speaker 1: off the float. I'm here now. Now you probably saying, Steve,
- 40:41Speaker 1: what is you washing it down with? Yeah? What paper?
- 40:45Speaker 1: Ties in? Now? But that tie rack that I had
- 40:48Speaker 1: grabbed when I first sat down and was twisting it
- 40:51Speaker 1: the guest house, the pretty ones with the lace in
- 40:54Speaker 1: the Yeah, yeah, that's when I washed it down. Not
- 41:02Speaker 1: my good towel. That is tile is brown because I
- 41:08Speaker 1: can't risk it all because it wasn't when it started.
- 41:14Speaker 1: That was paink this is awful that tows is running.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I don't wash all the walls down. Everything I'm in
- 41:21Speaker 1: that sweat has been on a construction site. So I've
- 41:26Speaker 1: been in that total about damn near hour. So I
- 41:30Speaker 1: pulled fasten my clothes. I look at the bathroom. I
- 41:34Speaker 1: got everything up, but I got this big nasty ass
- 41:37Speaker 1: tie and I don't know what to do with it.
- 41:39Speaker 1: So I take it, put it in the waste paper
- 41:42Speaker 1: can that I've been bailing with, and stuck all that
- 41:45Speaker 1: under the sink. I figured this ain't gonna be good.
- 41:51Speaker 1: No how Yeah, but at least when they come in here,
- 41:54Speaker 1: there's gonna take a moment. And because I know when
- 41:57Speaker 1: you're going there, you're gonna have to say what they're
- 41:59Speaker 1: here happy? Because I couldn't remember how the shower curtain
- 42:03Speaker 1: was of none of that. Now I got I look,
- 42:06Speaker 1: I'm taking I got everything off. So I walked down
- 42:10Speaker 1: the hallway. She's sitting on the couch with the attitude
- 42:13Speaker 1: of folded did She looked at me and she said,
- 42:18Speaker 1: why are you betting that so long? I had a
- 42:20Speaker 1: little accident. Then she said, oh my god, look at you.
- 42:25Speaker 1: What was I didn't realize when I was bailing all
- 42:33Speaker 1: that mess into the shower it was splashing on my
- 42:38Speaker 1: past below my knee. I ain't had time to look
- 42:42Speaker 1: at this because I'm busy cleaning up their damn house.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Now I looked down, it's just specks, the splash marks
- 42:53Speaker 1: from my knee down my pass was. I looked at huh.
- 42:59Speaker 1: She looked at me and she said, oh my god,
- 43:01Speaker 1: look at you. What have you been doing. I looked
- 43:06Speaker 1: at her, said, you ain't got talk to me like that,
- 43:11Speaker 1: and walked up. When he got in my car, had
- 43:17Speaker 1: to ride home with all my wonders. Dadd spank, I
- 43:23Speaker 1: smells sitting in that car. Coming up, it's the nephew

- 52:40Speaker 1: Let's go buckle up and hold down, Todd, we got
- 52:44Speaker 1: it for you here, cowberry, lad, that's the brother right there.
- 52:52Speaker 1: All right, subject, let's get it started. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 52:56Speaker 1: I am I am darn near fifty years old. And
- 52:59Speaker 1: my okay, you're not gonna stop. You're gonna stop doing
- 53:05Speaker 1: that with these last just like the cuss Okay, just
- 53:09Speaker 1: they it's not you, custod is what they see. I
- 53:12Speaker 1: am darnire fifty years old. And my wife let me,
- 53:16Speaker 1: were you watching CNN when Donald Trump made the s
- 53:19Speaker 1: whole comment about Haiti and Africa. Every comment taken upon
- 53:24Speaker 1: themselves to take an advantage of that situation because it's journalism. Yeah, alright,
- 53:31Speaker 1: and start being a professional journalist. I am i am
- 53:35Speaker 1: darnire fifty years old and my wife is forty. We've
- 53:38Speaker 1: been married for almost ten years and have two children,
- 53:41Speaker 1: both under the age of five. I want to make
- 53:44Speaker 1: sure you all have the details. First of all, I
- 53:47Speaker 1: love my wife, but it's an all caps b ut
- 53:52Speaker 1: all caps. But here is the problem. If I want
- 53:56Speaker 1: some cookie, I have to initiate it then of the time.
- 54:01Speaker 1: Sometimes she will, but it is rare to me, rare
- 54:05Speaker 1: for me. I don't want to feel like I am
- 54:07Speaker 1: forcing her to do something she doesn't want to do. However,
- 54:10Speaker 1: I think we're both young enough to have the time
- 54:13Speaker 1: of our lives. I have often gone to bed frustrated
- 54:16Speaker 1: with the lack of cookie in our life. I have
- 54:19Speaker 1: gone to bed naked. I've purchased her sex sexy lingerie,
- 54:24Speaker 1: which she does not wear. I have even told her
- 54:27Speaker 1: that sometimes she can initiate the sex, but nothing changes.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I think she doesn't feel confident in her bedroom skills.
- 54:34Speaker 1: But this leaves me frustrated too often or thinking I
- 54:37Speaker 1: am just horrible in bed. She acts like I am
- 54:40Speaker 1: the best in the world when we do engage, but
- 54:43Speaker 1: why doesn't she initiated more often I feel like she
- 54:46Speaker 1: should come and talk to me and tell me I
- 54:48Speaker 1: am not as good in bed as I think I am.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I have never cheated on my wife and I have
- 54:53Speaker 1: no plans to. But I can't keep going to sleep
- 54:56Speaker 1: sexually Frustrated? What else can I do to have her
- 55:00Speaker 1: make the first move? Or am I stuck making the
- 55:03Speaker 1: first move forever? Please help? Um? Well, I mean you
- 55:07Speaker 1: might have to you you might have to. I mean,
- 55:12Speaker 1: if you want it, you have to go after what
- 55:14Speaker 1: you want. You've talked to her about it. Uh, you
- 55:17Speaker 1: do it of the time. That five percent of the time.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Maybe that's all you'll have for now. Maybe she is
- 55:23Speaker 1: uncomfortable uh sexually and maybe you have to keep going
- 55:27Speaker 1: until she gets more comfortable, or you know, maybe she'll
- 55:31Speaker 1: never get more comfortable. Maybe it was the way she
- 55:33Speaker 1: was raised. You never know unless you, guys, do have
- 55:36Speaker 1: some honest communication about your you know, uh sexual life
- 55:40Speaker 1: or lack thereof. So you're gonna have to talk to her.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I mean, I know you want these changes, um, but
- 55:47Speaker 1: you it's your wife. You guys are married. You can talk,
- 55:51Speaker 1: you can communicate, You can tell her what you like
- 55:53Speaker 1: and what you don't like. Uh. You can keep starting
- 55:56Speaker 1: it and starting it. You want to feel like she
- 55:58Speaker 1: finds you attractive too, But when you do, she's cool
- 56:03Speaker 1: with it. You said, she acts like you're the best
- 56:05Speaker 1: in the world. So you know, maybe you guys are
- 56:09Speaker 1: going to have to compromise and come to some sort
- 56:10Speaker 1: of agreement right there, meet in the middle somewhere. But
- 56:14Speaker 1: talking and communicating is first. I would say, Steve, well, well, well, well, well,
- 56:20Speaker 1: because here we go. Yeah, yeah, the married man's plight. Yeah,
- 56:31Speaker 1: let's talk about this for a minute. He fifty. She foughting.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Is that what he's saying? He damned their fifty his
- 56:44Speaker 1: wife foughty. They've been married ten years. They got two kids,
- 56:49Speaker 1: both the age of under the age of five senior,
- 56:55Speaker 1: he say, I want to make sure you have all
- 56:57Speaker 1: the details. Well, sir, right now, I need to make
- 57:00Speaker 1: sure you got all the details too, because see, two
- 57:04Speaker 1: kids under five ain't nothing sexy about that. Kids is
- 57:15Speaker 1: mood killers, Kids is buzz killers, Kids is blockers. Kids
- 57:26Speaker 1: is in the way. Kids create interference. That's what kids is.
- 57:36Speaker 1: So now that you wanted us to have the details,
- 57:39Speaker 1: I just wanted to throw that at you. Now you say,
- 57:42Speaker 1: first you love my life, wife but here's the problem.
- 57:46Speaker 1: If I want some cookie, I gotta initiate the time.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I would venture to say, I would just venture to
- 57:54Speaker 1: say that that's ninety of the marital situation today. I
- 58:00Speaker 1: would venture to say. I could be wrong, but that's
- 58:02Speaker 1: just an opinion of mine. I think in a marriage,
- 58:06Speaker 1: once them kids is here, that is usually the man
- 58:08Speaker 1: that's trying to initiate ninety of the time in nine manages,
- 58:15Speaker 1: not as that other thing that's some woman listening to Uh,
- 58:18Speaker 1: I can't keep my hands off. Well, we're not mad
- 58:21Speaker 1: to you, and you ain't in this letter. I'm glad
- 58:27Speaker 1: you exist, but I ain't got time to go find
- 58:30Speaker 1: nobody else. I got jobs, I got a legacy I'm
- 58:37Speaker 1: working on. In a family, I'm trying to maintain that
- 58:40Speaker 1: hoole together. So now sometimes she will, but it's rare
- 58:48Speaker 1: for me. I don't want to feel like I'm forcing
- 58:50Speaker 1: her to do something she don't want to do. However,
- 58:53Speaker 1: I think we're both young enough to have the time
- 58:54Speaker 1: of our lives. I've often gone to bed frustrated with
- 58:58Speaker 1: the lack of cookie in our life. I have gone
- 59:02Speaker 1: to bed naked. That ain't nothing for me. I'm in
- 59:08Speaker 1: that naked and night. I go to bed naked because
- 59:12Speaker 1: I can't afford to having stuff getting twisted and wrapped
- 59:14Speaker 1: up on me. I got immovable objects that's rare and
- 59:20Speaker 1: can't get tugged and tossed on it. But I sleep
- 59:23Speaker 1: naked just in case, Just in case. Be ready, stay ready.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I have purchased her sexy lingerate what she does not wear.
- 59:37Speaker 1: I've told her that sometimes she can initiate sex, but
- 59:39Speaker 1: nothing changes. I think she doesn't feel confident in her
- 59:43Speaker 1: bedroom skills. Dog, it's them damn kids. Them kids is
- 59:50Speaker 1: wearing her hands out. You got two kids under five? Dog,
- 59:55Speaker 1: you got to understand these kids is wearing this po
- 59:59Speaker 1: woman out. She ain't got time for you. All right, Steve,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I don't this damn dog out our house. We just
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: bought up in here. How about that personal now, I'm sorry.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Coming after that, we'll be right. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on, let's get to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: it part two of your man right here. He fitted
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: his wife forty. They got two kids under five, and
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: he frustrated because he's going to bed naked because she
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: won't initiate sex. He got initiated the town. Now, before
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I left, what I tried to point out to the man,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: what you tried to tell us at the beginning of
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the letter. What so we have all the fact that
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: they have two kids under five. It's them damn kids,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: them kids. It's wearing this woman out, the kids of
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: something else. I'll give you an example. When the grandkids
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: come over our house. There ain't even our kids no more.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I got rid of all out him. I thought they
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: was gone. But now when they come back, they bring
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: more people with them. They called brad kids. They sleep
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: in the bed with us, which kills my sleeping naked.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Can't sleep naked with a grand baby in the bad
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Them kids is moved killers. They block us. Them kids
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: is actually birth control. Maybe your wife ain't so and
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and see to get up on you cause she don't
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: want no more kids. That could be she threw with
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: deep kids. She got these two babies under five, you
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: laying over here naked. She set up in here man.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Then Jeff put them to sleep. She tried to get
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: some rest because she got to go dem these kids.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: That could be it. Man, I would venture to say
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that that's probably it. Now, what are you you would
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: like for her? To initiate this a little bit more.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: That ain't gonna happen. That's all he wants. I mean,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: you know what, Look, we would all like five girl
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: to be a little bit more forced for hey baby,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you know. But for the most part in the man
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: just usually the man that's initiated. Ain't that right, see

- 1:27:50Speaker 1: last break of the day, just one more thing. You're
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: closing remarks, What do you have for us today to
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: take us into the weekend? Steve? You know, look, man,
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: my haters, there's nothing I can do at them. But
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: it's also okay to have haters because I mean, you
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: need them. It justifies your efforts and your work. If
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: you're not doing anything, you don't have to worry about haters.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: But the moment you try to accomplish something, the moment
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: you try to be more than them, the more the
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: moment you decide that you're gonna come up, the moment
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: you make the decision that you're gonna be better than
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: you were before, you can prepare yourself for the haters,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: because that haters work for an evil force. You know, Look,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: if you're not doing good, you're doing bad. If you're
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: not doing right, you're doing evil. If you're not being positive,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: you're being negative. The devil is busy, man, the devil.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Here's your prayers to God. He knows what God is
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: capable of doing for you. And so the devil's job
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: is to intercept and interrupt all of that. He wants
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: to enter self and interrupt all the blessings that God
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: has for you. So he asked people that's at work
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: for him all the time. The stunning thing about it
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: is these people that work for the devil all the time,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: his imps. They're busy, man, they're busy. I had a
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: guy told me. I asked. I asked a guy one time,
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: a manute, why are you always hating? He said, Man,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: that's what I do. I'm a hater. He said, Man,
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get a huge following Steve because I hate.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Because I had approached the doing about something he has
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: said about me one time, not that I really cared.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: I just asked him why he did it. He says, Steve,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: you cool man, but you would draw you draw people
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: to my site. So when I'm mention you, I get
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: more followers. I'm gonna turn that into money. So he
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: has made a conscious decision to be a paid hater.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: The problem that haters don't understand is that you may
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: become a paid hater, but it also comes with a
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: cost to you. It's a simple principle in the Bible.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: You know when you were a little kid and used
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: to go to Sunday School and you heard the golden rule,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: That is applicable to the day you leave this world.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: I don't care what business you get into or anything
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: like that. It applies all the time. Do unto others
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: as you would have them do unto you. So, if
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: you're gonna be in the hate business, you must be
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: prepared to be hated on, and you must be prepared
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: to suffer the consequences of a negative behavior. It's amazing, man.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you all, stop stopping your climb, stop stopping
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: your journey to address all of these haters, because they
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: are sent as a worker. They are in empt to
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: try to enter, sell, and impede and block blessings and
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: things that God has for you. Keep moving, somebody. One
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: of the bishops sent me up a letter one time,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: and it simply says, Steve, stay on the wall. Stay
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: on the wall. And I went, wow, man, why what
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: was it? So I eventually, I mean, it made sense
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: to me, but I called him to ask him. He said, hey, man,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: stay on the wall. Don't climb down off the wall
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: where God has taken all this time to place you,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: to get back down on the ground to deal with
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: some people that ain't him up on the wall. I said, man,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: but they're throwing rocks at me. He said, throwing rocks
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: that are as any of them knocked you off the wall.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: I said no, I said, he said to someone to
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: hit you in the back, hitch you upside the head
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: with him rock. But he said, but don't you keep
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: going up the wall? He said, why would you stop him?
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: Come down off the wall, Steve. So I'm saying to
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: everybody out there listening, you got to stay on the
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: wall wherever you are. Don't stop your assent to address
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: these haters. It's okay, You're going to be fine. They
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: are hating for a reason. They hate you because you
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: are something that they are not capable of being, and
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: they wish they was. And now since you are, and
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: they ain't here come to hate. You know, the best
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: way to deal with hate love. Love is the only
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: thing that conquers hate. You cannot conquer hate with more hate.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Marla the King knew that as well as anybody. Gandhi
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: understood that as well as anybody. You cannot conquer hate
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: with more hate. The only way to conquer hate is
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: with love. It works. Man. The problem with hate is
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: hate is so much louder than love. But here's the
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: joy of it. Though love is stronger than hate, hate
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: dwindles and withers away. Love of just love, love, just last.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Here's another example. If you're in darkness,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: complete in total darkness, and you're tired up the darkness.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: To get out of darkness, you don't do you don't
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: go to more darkness. You need light. Only light can
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: get you out of darkness. Only love can bring you
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: out of hatred. It's the only way it works. Whatever
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: they're doing to you, that's on a negative, you have
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: to do differently to them on a positive. Now you're
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: not gonna like that because it's gonna seem like the
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: soft approach, But it's the only thing that works. You
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: just got to keep loving them when they keep hating you.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: And that's hard to do. I know it is. For me.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: It's hard to do, but I just keep on when
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I see them, I just go, hey, look man, booooo
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: No no hard feelings and keep going. You want to
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: get out of darkness. You need light. You want to
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: get out of you lead love. That's it all right.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: I love that. Don't have a good weekend for all.
