- 0:00Speaker 1: Did you know Joe Biden actually believes that there's really
- 0:03Speaker 1: nothing special about being an American. Harvard University Instident Politics
- 0:09Speaker 1: had Joe Biden speak back in two thousand and fourteen,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and he said this, which may explain exactly why he
- 0:17Speaker 1: doesn't seem to give a crap about Americans being trapped
- 0:21Speaker 1: behind enemy lines in Afghanistan with the Taliban in charge
- 0:24Speaker 1: of their futures. And so you figure out how to
- 0:29Speaker 1: live together like we do, you will never, never, never
- 0:34Speaker 1: make it. America's strength ultimately lies in its people. There's
- 0:42Speaker 1: nothing special about being American. None of you can define
- 0:45Speaker 1: for me what an American is. Nothing special about being
- 0:50Speaker 1: an American. There's nothing special about being American. None of
- 0:54Speaker 1: you can define for me what an American is. Nothing
- 0:59Speaker 1: shold there is nothing special about being an American. Well,
- 1:04Speaker 1: that may explain exactly why our foreign policy is. If
- 1:07Speaker 1: Americans are dying around the world, so be it. We
- 1:11Speaker 1: also learned something else today. Did you know that there
- 1:15Speaker 1: was a hit out by the Taliban back in two
- 1:18Speaker 1: thousand and eight, seven, six, twenty nine, ten, actually on
- 1:24Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Well, Osama bin Laden may have been smarter
- 1:29Speaker 1: than we realized. Osama bin Laden evil dude, not stupid, though,
- 1:35Speaker 1: banned al Qaeda from trying to assassinate Joe Biden because quote,
- 1:40Speaker 1: he believed he would be an incompetent president and lead
- 1:45Speaker 1: the US into a crisis that we could exploit. That's right.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Osama bin Laden banned al Qaeda from assassinating Joe Biden
- 1:55Speaker 1: because the Democrat would become an incompetent president and lead
- 2:00Speaker 1: the US into a crisis if Jihadis were successful in
- 2:03Speaker 1: killing Barack Obama. Ben Lawden made those remarks in a
- 2:09Speaker 1: two thousand and ten letter that was found in a
- 2:12Speaker 1: trope of documents of the Pakistan compound where he was
- 2:16Speaker 1: killed by US special forces in two thousand and eleven.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The document was then made public, but a lot of
- 2:23Speaker 1: people weren't paying attention to it. In twenty twelve, it
- 2:26Speaker 1: was brought back to light this week given the significance
- 2:29Speaker 1: amid the chaos with a US fordrawal from Afghanistan that is,
- 2:34Speaker 1: gifted the country back into the hands of al Qaeda.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Ben Laudon, then leader of al Qaida and the man
- 2:42Speaker 1: that America went to Afghanistan to kill, panned a forty
- 2:45Speaker 1: eight page mission statement. I guess in made twenty ten
- 2:51Speaker 1: to an aid identified as Brother Muhammad real name Al Raman.
- 2:59Speaker 1: In it, ben Laden discussed the needed director resources away
- 3:03Speaker 1: from ter attacks and other Muslim countries instead focus on
- 3:05Speaker 1: direct attacks in the US. On page thirty six of
- 3:09Speaker 1: that letter that we got in that raid, he outlined
- 3:13Speaker 1: his desire to form two hit squads, one in Pakistan
- 3:18Speaker 1: and another in Afghanistan, whose job it will be to
- 3:21Speaker 1: plot attacks against then US President Barack Obama and XCIA
- 3:24Speaker 1: director David Petraeus should they visit either country. Giving his
- 3:29Speaker 1: reasoning for attacking Obama, Osama bin Laden said, quote, Obama
- 3:35Speaker 1: is the head of the Infidel and killing him automatically
- 3:40Speaker 1: will make Biden take over the presidency for the remainder
- 3:45Speaker 1: of the term as is normal over there. Biden is
- 3:49Speaker 1: totally This is Osama bin Lawden's words. Biden is totally
- 3:54Speaker 1: unprepared for that post, which will lead the US into chaos.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Osama bin Laden also adds as for General Petraeus, he
- 4:06Speaker 1: is the man of the hour and this last year
- 4:10Speaker 1: of the war, and killing him would alter the war's path. Now.
- 4:14Speaker 1: US intelligence analysts, who first revealed the existence of the
- 4:17Speaker 1: document to The Washington Post back in twenty twelve, said
- 4:20Speaker 1: neither the pots against Obama or Petrayus were realistic or
- 4:24Speaker 1: amounted to anything. By the way, that's the same exact
- 4:27Speaker 1: thing the US Intelligence Agency said about the attacks on
- 4:29Speaker 1: nine eleven. But Ben Ladden's attack on Biden's abilities and
- 4:35Speaker 1: his forewarning of an American crisis rings truer now than
- 4:40Speaker 1: it ever did before. Biden facing mounting fury across the
- 4:44Speaker 1: world for abandoning Afghans in their fate, and yesterday it
- 4:48Speaker 1: emerged that his administration was warned multiple times last month
- 4:53Speaker 1: that the Afghan capitol would quickly fall the Taliban after
- 4:56Speaker 1: an American control, and certainly by August the thirty first.
- 5:01Speaker 1: More than a dozen diplomats have now sent a confidential
- 5:05Speaker 1: memo out to the media in a descent channel to
- 5:10Speaker 1: Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln on July thirteenth, saying that
- 5:13Speaker 1: the Taliban was rapidly gaining ground and that the city
- 5:17Speaker 1: was vulnerable to collapse, The Walls Journal has confirmed. On
- 5:21Speaker 1: July eighth, President Biden said it was quotely highly highly
- 5:25Speaker 1: unlikely the Taliban would take control of Afghanistan and denied
- 5:28Speaker 1: there would be chaos in Kabbal. Well, now we know
- 5:32Speaker 1: that he's either just a total idiot or he refuses
- 5:34Speaker 1: to listen to anyone around him. He went on vacation
- 5:38Speaker 1: for five days as Afghanistan was falling, which goes back
- 5:43Speaker 1: to the competency issue that was raised by Osama bin Laden,
- 5:48Speaker 1: who said, don't kill Joe Biden. We want this guy
- 5:52Speaker 1: to be president. He'll take over if we can get
- 5:54Speaker 1: rid of Obama. These are the words of the ass
- 6:00Speaker 1: that planned nine to eleven. This is Osama bin Laden saying,
- 6:03Speaker 1: whatever you do, don't harm Joe Biden, because Joe Biden
- 6:05Speaker 1: will give us what we want Afghan security forces we
- 6:10Speaker 1: knew were collapsing over a month ago. The memo also
- 6:13Speaker 1: warned Obama or excuse me, Biden, that there are many
- 6:18Speaker 1: ways to mitigate the advancing insurgents. None of that was
- 6:25Speaker 1: listened to by the President. The State Department not wanting
- 6:29Speaker 1: blood on their hands, and their memo, according to the the report,
- 6:31Speaker 1: also called for the government to use tougher language, referring
- 6:35Speaker 1: to the US government using tougher language mean the President
- 6:37Speaker 1: used tougher language on the violence in the past and
- 6:40Speaker 1: the Taliban, and urged them to start collecting information for
- 6:43Speaker 1: Afghan allies who qualified for special immigration visas after working
- 6:47Speaker 1: with US forces. All of this was warned weeks ago,
- 6:51Speaker 1: almost a month ago before all this happened. The journal
- 6:54Speaker 1: even reported that twenty three embassy staffers signed the cable
- 6:58Speaker 1: and rushed to deliver it considering the deteriorating situation in Cobble.
- 7:02Speaker 1: This is back in July. We're now told the Secretary
- 7:06Speaker 1: of State, Anthony B. Lincoln, reviewed the cable. State Department
- 7:12Speaker 1: spokesman Ed Price told the Journal quote, he made clear
- 7:15Speaker 1: that he welcomes and encourages the use of the descent channel.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Is committed to its revitalization. We value constructive internal descent.
- 7:25Speaker 1: The memo using the descent channel urged the administration to
- 7:28Speaker 1: start flights of aacuating people out of the country no
- 7:30Speaker 1: later than August the first, and sooner if they could.
- 7:35Speaker 1: A former CIA counter Terrorism chiefs chief also advised the
- 7:39Speaker 1: President's campaign the cobble would crumble within days with a
- 7:44Speaker 1: depleted American present, so don't do that. But an interview
- 7:48Speaker 1: release on Thursday morning, President Biden claimed George Stepanopolis that
- 7:52Speaker 1: he was never told that such a rapid collapse was
- 7:55Speaker 1: even possible. In fact, a day earlier, General Mark Millie,
- 8:00Speaker 1: you know, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
- 8:01Speaker 1: that's been focusing more on wokeness and making sure soldiers
- 8:05Speaker 1: can get sex change operations and boob jobs, said he
- 8:09Speaker 1: never saw any intelligence warning that the African government could
- 8:12Speaker 1: fall so quickly. We now know he lied to us
- 8:15Speaker 1: as well. Quote there's nothing that I or anyone else
- 8:19Speaker 1: saw that indicated a collapse of this army and the
- 8:21Speaker 1: government in eleven days. We know now that's a lie.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Their claims have been disputed in a detailed account describing
- 8:30Speaker 1: the state of understanding at the CIA written by Douglas London,
- 8:34Speaker 1: the agency's former counter terrorism chief for South and Southwest Asia,
- 8:39Speaker 1: which offered a very different assessment. He said the rapid
- 8:42Speaker 1: collapse was one of a number of possible scenarios, saying, quote,
- 8:46Speaker 1: ultimately it was assessed African forces might capitulate under circumstances
- 8:53Speaker 1: we witness and projections highlighted the Trump officials and future
- 8:58Speaker 1: Biden officials alike. He said, we have a real problem
- 9:03Speaker 1: and everyone knows it. London, by the way, who served
- 9:07Speaker 1: as a volunteer advisor to the Biden campaign after leaving
- 9:10Speaker 1: the CIA in two nineteen scoffed at the present's claim
- 9:14Speaker 1: that the events Afghanistan unfolded more rapidly than expected, saying, quote,
- 9:19Speaker 1: that's misleading. It best now, this is his advisor on
- 9:22Speaker 1: his campaign, saying, quote, the CIA anticipated it was a
- 9:26Speaker 1: very real scenario. ABC News even scorching Biden for claiming
- 9:32Speaker 1: Americans have her are having no trouble getting to the airport.
- 9:37Speaker 1: You know, Joe Biden wants you to actually believe maybe
- 9:42Speaker 1: one of the biggest lives we've been told so far,
- 9:45Speaker 1: that Americans are having no issues getting the Kabbel airport.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Even ABC News isn't buying it. Not only did ABC
- 9:53Speaker 1: News not buy it, they're actually scorching him because they
- 9:55Speaker 1: have members in their media apparatus that can't get to
- 9:58Speaker 1: the airport. We've all seen the videos of the babies
- 10:01Speaker 1: being thrown over the barbed wire. Some of them got
- 10:03Speaker 1: caught in the bob wire. We know that people are
- 10:06Speaker 1: passing their children over the fence, the soldiers begging for
- 10:10Speaker 1: them to give their kids a chance at life. Joe
- 10:13Speaker 1: Biden actually said today in his own words, that there
- 10:19Speaker 1: are zero issues. I don't know if any there's no
- 10:21Speaker 1: indication every road is controlled by the Taliban. Every road
- 10:25Speaker 1: coming the airport has road blocks. Americans were beat last
- 10:30Speaker 1: night in the streets in Afghanistan. You know the State
- 10:33Speaker 1: Department thinks about that. I'll play that for you in
- 10:36Speaker 1: a second. But before we get to that, here is
- 10:38Speaker 1: Biden lying to you. But remember this is the same
- 10:41Speaker 1: guy that said there's nothing special about being an American.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It makes sense, right, If Joe Biden truly believes that
- 10:49Speaker 1: there is nothing special about being an American, then it's
- 10:53Speaker 1: not a big deal for Americans beaten by the Taliban,
- 10:56Speaker 1: or murdered or hung or beheaded, nothing special about being American.
- 11:01Speaker 1: None of you can define for me what an American is.
- 11:03Speaker 1: That's twenty fourteen at the Harvard University Institute of Politics.
- 11:09Speaker 1: So if there's nothing special about Americans, and why do
- 11:13Speaker 1: I care about them? We have no indication that they
- 11:15Speaker 1: haven't been able to get in couple through the airport.
- 11:18Speaker 1: We've made an agreement with the Taliban. Thus far they've
- 11:21Speaker 1: allowed them to go through. It's and they're interested them
- 11:23Speaker 1: to go through. So we know of no circumstance where
- 11:27Speaker 1: American citizens are carrying an American passport or trying to
- 11:32Speaker 1: get through to the airport. But we will do whatever
- 11:34Speaker 1: it needs to be done to see to what they
- 11:36Speaker 1: get to the airport. Really because your state department, so
- 11:40Speaker 1: they couldn't guarantee the safety of Americans, and the DoD
- 11:43Speaker 1: said that you guys couldn't guarantee the safety of Americans
- 11:47Speaker 1: going to airport. So which one is it? State Department
- 11:51Speaker 1: spokesman Ned Price actually dismissed the reports of the Taliban
- 11:55Speaker 1: beating Americans, maybe because he believes, like Joe Biden that
- 11:59Speaker 1: in their world words not mine, there's nothing special about
- 12:03Speaker 1: being American. None of you can define from me what
- 12:06Speaker 1: an American is. So let me let you listen to
- 12:09Speaker 1: the State Department spokesman Ned Price dismissing reports of Americans
- 12:15Speaker 1: being beaten last night. First time ever this has happened
- 12:18Speaker 1: since all this point down Americans being attacked. The Defense
- 12:22Speaker 1: Secretary told congressional leaders that Americans were beating there, So
- 12:27Speaker 1: can you confirm that for us? Off And this is
- 12:29Speaker 1: a first indication of what yet to come by the Taliban. Again,
- 12:34Speaker 1: every single report, whether it is an American citizen, and
- 12:38Speaker 1: we take we're in direct contact with American citizens, we
- 12:40Speaker 1: take those extraordinarily seriously. Or the reports we're seeing about
- 12:44Speaker 1: at risk Afghans who may be impeded. We take those
- 12:48Speaker 1: extraordinarily seriously. It's difficult for us to speak to reports
- 12:54Speaker 1: that are anecdotal that may be on social media. Reports
- 13:00Speaker 1: we can speak to are those. These journalists, by the way,
- 13:07Speaker 1: are pretty angry right this. This this reporters confronting the
- 13:10Speaker 1: State Department spokesman over their ambiguous updates and not telling
- 13:15Speaker 1: the truth about what's having to American citizens. And she's going,
- 13:19Speaker 1: we have these reports going to Congress. Why are you
- 13:21Speaker 1: not admitting this? The reports we can speak to are
- 13:25Speaker 1: those reports that we have heard firsthand, because we are
- 13:28Speaker 1: in regular constant communication with American citizens on the ground,
- 13:32Speaker 1: providing them guidance, providing them instructions. So oftentimes we do
- 13:36Speaker 1: know the most about what American citizens are faring. But
- 13:40Speaker 1: I'm just not in a position to confirm specific reports.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So let's be clear about this. The State Department spokesman
- 13:48Speaker 1: Ned Price just miss his reports of the Taliban beating
- 13:50Speaker 1: Americans as anecdotal. That's how little they think of you.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Even ABC News Tonight not putting up with that crap.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Corresponded Ian Panel with US live on the ground in Kabble,
- 14:05Speaker 1: where he has been for many days now, and Ian
- 14:07Speaker 1: I want to get right to something. The President was
- 14:09Speaker 1: pressed on there from our own Stephanie Ramos, who was
- 14:12Speaker 1: there at the White House. She asked about Americans and
- 14:15Speaker 1: Afghans who are in Kabbal and beyond, who are trying
- 14:19Speaker 1: to get to that airport. But as you have reported
- 14:22Speaker 1: for many nights on World News tonight, the Taliban controls
- 14:25Speaker 1: the checkpoint, the Taliban and convoys around that country. How
- 14:29Speaker 1: do you get those families to the airport? The President
- 14:32Speaker 1: said he has no intelligence that Americans have been unable
- 14:35Speaker 1: to get there. The question obviously, does that square with
- 14:38Speaker 1: reporting on the ground, I mean, just totally not. I mean,
- 14:44Speaker 1: the reaction was pretty much one of I mean, it
- 14:47Speaker 1: was breathtaking no indication Americans can get to the airports.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean, last nights on World News, we had American
- 14:53Speaker 1: citizens who had exactly that experience. They tried to get
- 14:56Speaker 1: to the airport. They had weighed their American passports. The
- 14:59Speaker 1: President talks about all they had to do was present
- 15:01Speaker 1: their passports and they'd be allowed through. They were beaten
- 15:05Speaker 1: by the Taliban with the rubber fan belt from a vehicle.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Multiple examples of Americans and Afghans SIV applicants who have
- 15:14Speaker 1: now tried repeatedly. This one woman we're tracking. She's back
- 15:17Speaker 1: at the airport tonight. This is a third night in
- 15:20Speaker 1: the row. The gates haven't opened, that Taliban haven't let
- 15:23Speaker 1: her through. It just seems the reality and the rhetoric
- 15:28Speaker 1: are miles apart. I'm not quite sure what advice the
- 15:32Speaker 1: president's receiving, but the truth on the ground is that
- 15:35Speaker 1: these people who are in fear of their lives can't
- 15:38Speaker 1: get through. These people infear their lives can't get through.
- 15:44Speaker 1: That's ABC News saying it. Let me let you hear
- 15:49Speaker 1: from another media organization who is also saying that Joe
- 15:54Speaker 1: Biden's last, his ever loving mine, and he's just flat
- 15:56Speaker 1: out lying to the American people about a Ericans getting
- 16:01Speaker 1: safe passage to the airport MSNBC. And the only reason
- 16:06Speaker 1: why they're angry. You have to understand this is because
- 16:07Speaker 1: there's journalists who are caught behind enemy lines right now,
- 16:11Speaker 1: so it's isn't their best interest to tell you the
- 16:14Speaker 1: truth only for that reason. I want this to be clear.
- 16:17Speaker 1: This is not about Americans, is and is about journalists
- 16:20Speaker 1: who think they're more important than you are. It just
- 16:24Speaker 1: happens to be that we're aligned on this one now,
- 16:26Speaker 1: so they will tell you the real truth of what's
- 16:28Speaker 1: happening on the ground. Because Americans, who also happen to
- 16:31Speaker 1: be journalists are trapped behind enemy lines. That's why they're
- 16:35Speaker 1: really angry. If all the journalists were safe, then they
- 16:39Speaker 1: would have no problem probably telling you a different story.
- 16:42Speaker 1: You're looking the other way while Biden's lying to you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But right now they want their journalist friends, which lives
- 16:47Speaker 1: are more valuable than anyone else's, to get out. Here's
- 16:52Speaker 1: what MSNBC said about Joe Biden telling the world, Oh Americans,
- 16:56Speaker 1: where are passport? Just showing the talbot. They'll let you
- 16:58Speaker 1: straight through zones of people surrounded. The airport, the Camp Salivant,
- 17:03Speaker 1: Camp Bern, the military entrance, all of them have been closed.
- 17:07Speaker 1: So you're beating the people, smoking fire gas at them.
- 17:10Speaker 1: There is no way that people get in. So this
- 17:13Speaker 1: is a complete failure. What the prisoner has been saying,
- 17:16Speaker 1: it contradicts that situation. My journalist is telling me from
- 17:19Speaker 1: the airport. One of my journalists mid inside the airport
- 17:23Speaker 1: and the other one has been beaten and still outside.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So the reality, by the way, you know, one of
- 17:28Speaker 1: my journalists. See, that's the only reason why they're telling
- 17:30Speaker 1: you the truth right now, is because it's their journalists
- 17:34Speaker 1: who usually have a different level of protection. Right, that's
- 17:39Speaker 1: all broken down. Journalists. You gotta understand, I'm I'm in
- 17:42Speaker 1: the I don't like saying I'm in the journalist field.
- 17:45Speaker 1: That's not I don't want to be accused of being
- 17:48Speaker 1: a journalist. Right, I'm not a journalist. I'm a commentator.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But you gotta understand. Most journalists are extremely narcissistic. They
- 17:54Speaker 1: believe they're special. They believe that they are above reproach.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They believe that they're like God has their hand on them,
- 18:02Speaker 1: that they're somehow different than a normal human being. Journalists
- 18:06Speaker 1: believe that they are They're very narcissistic. Just so you understand,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and even there you can hear it, right. I don't
- 18:12Speaker 1: even think the guy realized what he's saying here, but
- 18:14Speaker 1: he's basically saying, I'm angry, and I'm telling you that
- 18:17Speaker 1: Joe Biden's lying and what's happening on the ground is
- 18:19Speaker 1: not what he's claiming. It is because I have journalists
- 18:23Speaker 1: that are trapped, which exactly what I said they were
- 18:24Speaker 1: gonna do. Now, so as they get their journalists out,
- 18:28Speaker 1: they'll shut up. They'll shut up for the same reason
- 18:33Speaker 1: that Joe Biden is acting this way, because they don't
- 18:35Speaker 1: really think there's anything special about being an American system either,
- 18:38Speaker 1: there's nothing special about being American. None of you can
- 18:41Speaker 1: define for me what an American is. That explains Joe
- 18:45Speaker 1: Biden's lack of I don't give a blank about these people.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That explains why they can he can look you in
- 18:50Speaker 1: the face and lie to you. But ABC News scorching
- 18:54Speaker 1: Biden for claiming Americans have no trouble getting in the
- 18:57Speaker 1: couple airport and msm EC doing the exact same thing.
- 19:01Speaker 1: It's only because they're journalists that are trapped on the ground.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Is that the administration had literally feeled his footage, b
- 19:11Speaker 1: uc it's from my journals. Wanted to make his way out.
- 19:14Speaker 1: The US Embassy has issued them these passes, or they
- 19:18Speaker 1: call it visa passes. The problem is not the tolerable.
- 19:21Speaker 1: The problem is our capabilities US forces and the and
- 19:25Speaker 1: the AFT consecurity forces. They cannot control the crowd. We're
- 19:29Speaker 1: talking about thousands of people. Eighteen thousand left, six thousand
- 19:32Speaker 1: screen last night. Right now, everything is closed so what
- 19:36Speaker 1: do we see all these footages you're been beating. And
- 19:39Speaker 1: there's another thing. Over ninety percent of these people have
- 19:42Speaker 1: never worked for the US government. Their families are not
- 19:45Speaker 1: in the US. So it has been a mismanagement of
- 19:48Speaker 1: this program. You know, this had have been done long
- 19:50Speaker 1: time ago. We literally failed. It has been a terrible leadership.
- 19:53Speaker 1: And I think it's still the president. He admitted his
- 19:56Speaker 1: failure and he's still not regretting what has happening in
- 19:58Speaker 1: the ground. You know, yes, there are a lot of
- 20:01Speaker 1: brave American souls on the ground, but if the leadership
- 20:04Speaker 1: is not working, if the strategy is not working, how
- 20:06Speaker 1: are you going to sit safely bring these people home?
- 20:10Speaker 1: You know? On the crowd. My journalist told me there
- 20:12Speaker 1: are a lot of American citizens with green cards even
- 20:15Speaker 1: with a US citizenship passport and the ENGINEUS that is
- 20:19Speaker 1: the issue. So the crowd, there's there's really really very
- 20:22Speaker 1: hard for people to go and it says, oh, you're
- 20:24Speaker 1: an American, let's go on a plane. So this situation,
- 20:27Speaker 1: it's a chaos, it's a disaster. I got a massage
- 20:30Speaker 1: from the journal is that she made it the airport.
- 20:32Speaker 1: She was crying and she was telling me, Ahamed, I
- 20:35Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you. People are killing each
- 20:37Speaker 1: other over a bottle of water. It's such a such
- 20:39Speaker 1: a disaster at chaos, and she hung up on me.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Notice it's all about the journalist here, right, It's not
- 20:45Speaker 1: really the Americans. Yeah, not really the Americans. It's journalists.
- 20:52Speaker 1: We just happen to be aligned for once because we're angry.
- 20:54Speaker 1: We can't get out. Stay Department spokes from a Price
- 21:00Speaker 1: dismiss his reports of beating Americans. Member, it's just anecdotal.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It's not a big deal. Senator Lindsay Graham even said today,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I fear that the Taliban has given us an ultimatum.
- 21:12Speaker 1: They're now attacking Americans. Even CNN now again, the only
- 21:16Speaker 1: reason why they're doing what I'm about to play for
- 21:18Speaker 1: you is because they have journalists. Is fact checking now.
- 21:22Speaker 1: For the first time ever, Joe Biden's claimed today the
- 21:24Speaker 1: President has said American passport holders are not having any
- 21:28Speaker 1: trouble getting past the Taliban checkpoints. That may be problematic.
- 21:32Speaker 1: An awful lot of reports that that is still very
- 21:36Speaker 1: much a problem. Now they won't say, just lied to
- 21:39Speaker 1: you right there. It's you know, they got they got
- 21:41Speaker 1: to make sure, they keep their access to the White House, right.
- 21:45Speaker 1: You want to know something else that's crazy. This administration
- 21:49Speaker 1: was asked about what's going on when it comes to
- 21:55Speaker 1: another issue they've they've asked them about the Taliban. Hey,
- 22:00Speaker 1: what's what? What are we what's the Taliban looking right
- 22:03Speaker 1: right now? What's their presence in Afghanistan? The Pentagon spokesman
- 22:09Speaker 1: actually contradicts Biden because Biden made up another lie in
- 22:14Speaker 1: his press conference today. I mean, they can't even keep
- 22:20Speaker 1: their their lies straight at this point. There's too many
- 22:24Speaker 1: of them. Listen to the Pentagon spokesman contradicting Biden, Biden said, no, no,
- 22:31Speaker 1: we don't. We're so ISIS and nol Kada president in Afghanistan. Ah, No,
- 22:36Speaker 1: no that's not true. Less than an hour later, the
- 22:38Speaker 1: Pentagon says this when they're asked the same question, exact
- 22:41Speaker 1: estimate military intelligence estimates about how many Al Qaida remain
- 22:45Speaker 1: in Afghanist. We know that al Qaida is a presence
- 22:49Speaker 1: as well as ISIS in Afghanistan, and we've talked about
- 22:51Speaker 1: that for quite some time. We do not believe it
- 22:54Speaker 1: is exorbitantly high, but we don't have an exact figure
- 22:57Speaker 1: for you. As I think you might understand, Jen, It's
- 22:59Speaker 1: not like they they carry identification cards in register somewhere.
- 23:02Speaker 1: We don't have a perfect picture, and our ability, our
- 23:07Speaker 1: intelligence gathering ability in Afghanistan isn't what it used to
- 23:10Speaker 1: be because we aren't there in the same with the
- 23:12Speaker 1: same numbers that we used to be. But the President
- 23:15Speaker 1: just said that there is no al Qaeda presence in Afghanistan.
- 23:18Speaker 1: That does not seem to be correct. What we don't
- 23:22Speaker 1: think is that, what we believe is that there isn't
- 23:25Speaker 1: a presence that is significant enough to merit a threat
- 23:30Speaker 1: to our homeland as there was back on nine to eleven,
- 23:33Speaker 1: twenty years ago. The President also said there is no
- 23:36Speaker 1: national security interests, no national interests in Afghanistan. I'm a
- 23:41Speaker 1: little confused by that. Can you explain why there's no
- 23:45Speaker 1: national interests in Aghanistan? Why did we have troops there
- 23:49Speaker 1: for twenty years? If there's no national interests in Afghanistan?
- 23:51Speaker 1: We had we had a significant interest in being in
- 23:53Speaker 1: Afghanistan to our national security. Twenty years ago. You've heard
- 23:57Speaker 1: the President talk about this, the goal to defeat, decimate
- 24:01Speaker 1: al Kada, also to prevent al Qaeda from launching attacks
- 24:07Speaker 1: on the homeland from Afghanistan, and we did that. We
- 24:10Speaker 1: did that and a whole heck of a lot more
- 24:12Speaker 1: over the course of twenty years, and to include helping
- 24:15Speaker 1: with social, political, economic, just progress in Afghanistan. The President
- 24:22Speaker 1: decided that it was time to end this conflict. That
- 24:26Speaker 1: there was really only two choices because of the May
- 24:29Speaker 1: one deadline. Either plus up because after May first we
- 24:32Speaker 1: would come under attack by the Taliban and we hadn't
- 24:35Speaker 1: since the Doha agreement had been signed, or go ahead
- 24:39Speaker 1: and complete the drawdown. And the decision was made to
- 24:42Speaker 1: complete the draw down. I love this, by the way.
- 24:46Speaker 1: This guy literally is stuttering after the reporter says, but
- 24:51Speaker 1: the present just said there is no al Qaeda presence
- 24:54Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. That does not seem to be correct, Pentagon spokesman.
- 25:00Speaker 1: What we don't think is what we believe is that
- 25:03Speaker 1: there isn't a presence that is significant enough to merit
- 25:08Speaker 1: a threat to our homeland as there was back on
- 25:11Speaker 1: nine eleven, twenty years ago. They're not even on the
- 25:14Speaker 1: same page about al Qaida. Folks. Maybe Osama bin Laden
- 25:19Speaker 1: was really smart because Osama bin Laden said to al Qaida,
- 25:24Speaker 1: whatever you do, don't assassinate Joe Biden because he believed
- 25:28Speaker 1: he would be an incompetent president and lead the US
- 25:31Speaker 1: into crisis. That was in his own words and his
- 25:34Speaker 1: own writings that we see from his compound back in
- 25:38Speaker 1: two eleven after we killed them. Joe Biden also said
- 25:42Speaker 1: he has no indication that there are any issues for
- 25:45Speaker 1: Americans getting to the Kabel airport. We now know that
- 25:48Speaker 1: is a lie. We have no indication that they haven't
- 25:51Speaker 1: been able to get incomble through the airport. We've made
- 25:54Speaker 1: an agreement with the Taliban. Thus far, they've allowed them
- 25:57Speaker 1: to go through. It's and they're interesting to go through.
- 26:00Speaker 1: So we know of no circumstance where American citizens are
- 26:05Speaker 1: carrying an American passport or trying to get through to
- 26:08Speaker 1: the airport. But we will do whatever it needs to
- 26:10Speaker 1: be done to see to what they get to the airport. Again,
- 26:14Speaker 1: he knew that was a lie when he said it.
- 26:17Speaker 1: He also knew it was a lie when he said
- 26:18Speaker 1: that Alkaia is not in the country. Okada is in
- 26:20Speaker 1: the country, Olkaida is in the country. He said that
- 26:26Speaker 1: Alkaida is not in the country. Yes, it is now
- 26:31Speaker 1: to totally just put into perspective the insanity of this
- 26:36Speaker 1: press conference today, Joe Biden actually forgot the first question
- 26:43Speaker 1: from the first reporter after he called on the reporter
- 26:45Speaker 1: today at the White House. The first part of your
- 26:49Speaker 1: question was, I can't remember now that's your president. The
- 26:54Speaker 1: first part of your question, I can't remember now. Really,
- 27:00Speaker 1: that's what you've got. That's what you've got. That's it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham has said he believes that the Taliban he
- 27:11Speaker 1: figures has given us an ultimatum, an ultimatum that they
- 27:16Speaker 1: are going to start attacking us. They've already started it,
- 27:19Speaker 1: hitting and beating Americans. What happens when they start killing Americans?
- 27:22Speaker 1: So that seems like the perfect jumping off point to
- 27:24Speaker 1: bring in Senator Lindsay Graham, who has been to Afghanistan
- 27:28Speaker 1: many times as a former member of the Armed Services Committee,
- 27:31Speaker 1: and he served in Afghanistan as an Air Force reserve colonel.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Senator Graham, good to have you with us today. I
- 27:37Speaker 1: thought that was an astonishing comment in many ways, just
- 27:40Speaker 1: in terms of the reality of the situation, and I
- 27:44Speaker 1: want to hear your reaction to that first, and then
- 27:46Speaker 1: some other points that he made. Well. Number One, President
- 27:50Speaker 1: Boten is clearly disconnected from the reality on the ground
- 27:54Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. The UN issued a report just a month
- 27:57Speaker 1: or two ago saying that al kay was in fifteen
- 28:01Speaker 1: provinces of Afghanistan. After this debacle, they're going to be everywhere.
- 28:06Speaker 1: He also said he I'm gonna hold him to his
- 28:09Speaker 1: word that we're going to get all the Americans out
- 28:11Speaker 1: and all the Afghan's out. He said that, but look
- 28:14Speaker 1: what's going on on the ground. The State Department has
- 28:17Speaker 1: issued a statement today, you travel at your own peril.
- 28:21Speaker 1: We can't guarantee your safety, and the gates at the
- 28:24Speaker 1: Kabbol Airport may close at any minute. So the State
- 28:28Speaker 1: Department is telling people on the ground your own your
- 28:31Speaker 1: own and the President of United States is promising to
- 28:33Speaker 1: get you out. There is no plan. President Biden is
- 28:37Speaker 1: clearly overwhelmed by the situation, and I think he's in
- 28:40Speaker 1: denial about what's going on. But because al Qaeda is
- 28:43Speaker 1: there and there's clearly no plan. If there were a plan,
- 28:47Speaker 1: but by the way, this idea that he's in denial,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I got to disagree with. I don't think he cares.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I don't think he cares because if he acts cared, right,
- 29:02Speaker 1: if he cared, then he beginning these American troops to
- 29:07Speaker 1: go out into the city and get the Americans that
- 29:10Speaker 1: are being held back by the Taliban right now. And
- 29:14Speaker 1: do you think a mother would be handing their baby
- 29:16Speaker 1: over the wall to a marine. No, because they know
- 29:18Speaker 1: the reality and they understand that the Taliban has not
- 29:22Speaker 1: changed his stripes, and that they may part of this,
- 29:24Speaker 1: maybe by the way, part of this, maybe that he'd
- 29:27Speaker 1: just gotten so and just old, like, hey, I got
- 29:32Speaker 1: the Holy Grail, or excuse me, I became the president
- 29:35Speaker 1: United's America. I don't care if these americansistants die. I'm
- 29:38Speaker 1: too old now to even care, Like I've just become
- 29:41Speaker 1: forty plus years. You're just numb, I'm right at this point,
- 29:45Speaker 1: you're numb, Like you've gone through Vietnam. Remember he was
- 29:48Speaker 1: a senator when Vietnam happened, and the Debacle of Vietnam happened,
- 29:51Speaker 1: and the pullout of Vietnam happened, and Saigan happened. He
- 29:56Speaker 1: was there when Iran hostage crisis was happening as a senator.
- 30:03Speaker 1: At this point, like, does he even give a crap anymore?
- 30:08Speaker 1: I would say probably not. Doubt they might even be
- 30:13Speaker 1: cooperative in some ways in terms of letting people leave,
- 30:17Speaker 1: although we've seen them also very violent at times when
- 30:21Speaker 1: when they see fit. You know, I want to just
- 30:23Speaker 1: talk about the Afghani people and the commitment that you
- 30:27Speaker 1: talked about that the President made there right because he
- 30:30Speaker 1: said we will, we will get you home. That was
- 30:32Speaker 1: a clear message to Americans. But when he when he
- 30:34Speaker 1: was pressed a little bit on the Afghans who helped us,
- 30:37Speaker 1: he sort of left, I think some doors open to
- 30:40Speaker 1: maybe not help out of those people. Right. So he
- 30:43Speaker 1: was asked, we just stay past the August thirty first
- 30:45Speaker 1: deadline because we all know that, you know, to get
- 30:47Speaker 1: thousands and thousands of people out in the next ten
- 30:49Speaker 1: days is going to be tricky. He said, yeah, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: think we can get the Afghans out in time. And
- 30:55Speaker 1: then he said, but you know, but we'll see about
- 30:57Speaker 1: the deadline. We'll see then just one more and I
- 31:00Speaker 1: want to put out there on the table for you.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let me let me just say this then, last thing.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I think he is so hell bent on having that
- 31:09Speaker 1: date of well, at least we're out. People may have died,
- 31:12Speaker 1: but at least we're out by September eleventh, on the
- 31:16Speaker 1: twentieth anniversary, that he doesn't care what happens to anyone
- 31:20Speaker 1: right now is long as we're out, just get out.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I really think that's all he cares about. Like that's it,
- 31:29Speaker 1: which is honestly the scariest part of all of this. Stubborn, old, senile,
- 31:36Speaker 1: and angry. Those are the words that I can use
- 31:39Speaker 1: to describe Joe Biden in his ABC News exclusive one
- 31:44Speaker 1: on one interview that he did with George Stepanopolis, a
- 31:48Speaker 1: democratic operative that was going easy on the president, and
- 31:52Speaker 1: even with George Stepanopolis going easy on him, Joe Biden
- 31:55Speaker 1: fell apart in this interview. As the Afghanistan crisis has worked,
- 32:00Speaker 1: person how bad is it? Mothers and fathers are now
- 32:03Speaker 1: handing their children over bobware fences at the airport, trying
- 32:07Speaker 1: to at least give their kids a chance at life
- 32:10Speaker 1: because they know that they are more than likely going
- 32:12Speaker 1: to die. And if you want to know what's happening
- 32:16Speaker 1: in Afghanistan right now, it's a money grab. The Taliban
- 32:20Speaker 1: are now in control of one trillion dollars worth of
- 32:24Speaker 1: minerals that the world desperately wants and needs insert China
- 32:29Speaker 1: and Russia. This swift fall of Afghanistan, we're now being told,
- 32:33Speaker 1: was undermined by China possibly and Russia, which has triggered
- 32:38Speaker 1: this humanitarian crisis. Those two countries already working deals to
- 32:44Speaker 1: get into Afghanistan's vastly untapped mineral wealth. They say it
- 32:50Speaker 1: could transform the economic prospects of the Taliban to be
- 32:53Speaker 1: able to not only just have money, but money that
- 32:56Speaker 1: they've never even imagined to then use towards terrorism. Afghanistan,
- 33:01Speaker 1: as you know, is one of the poorest nations in
- 33:02Speaker 1: the world, but in twenty ten, US military and geologists
- 33:06Speaker 1: revealed that the country, which lies at the crossroads of
- 33:09Speaker 1: Central and South Asia, was sending out a mineral deposits
- 33:12Speaker 1: worth nearly a trillion dollars. What minerals are they and
- 33:16Speaker 1: why are they so important to Russia and China? And
- 33:18Speaker 1: that's why their embassies are wide open and they're working
- 33:20Speaker 1: these deals. Supplies of minerals such as iron, copper, and
- 33:25Speaker 1: gold are scattered across provinces. They are also rare earth minerals,
- 33:30Speaker 1: and perhaps most importantly, that could be one of the
- 33:33Speaker 1: world's biggest deposits of lithium. That's why China is sitting
- 33:41Speaker 1: there begging to do a deal. Lithium is an essential
- 33:44Speaker 1: but scarce component in rechargeable batteries that China desperately needs,
- 33:49Speaker 1: as well as other technologies vital to tackling what some
- 33:52Speaker 1: refer to as the climate crisis. Afghanistan is certainly one
- 33:55Speaker 1: of the richest regions in traditional precious metals, but also
- 33:59Speaker 1: the medals needed for the emerging economy of the twenty
- 34:03Speaker 1: first century, and that's why China is stepping in as
- 34:06Speaker 1: America leaves. Security challenges may not be an issue if
- 34:10Speaker 1: all the money is going to the Taliban, something we
- 34:13Speaker 1: were not going to guarantee, which is part of the
- 34:16Speaker 1: reason why these minerals went untapped over the last twenty years.
- 34:20Speaker 1: A lack of infrastructure not a problem. China says, they'll
- 34:22Speaker 1: build it. Severe drought's not a problem. China says they'll
- 34:26Speaker 1: do whatever it takes, and they will do the deal
- 34:29Speaker 1: with the Taliban, not with the Afghanistan government which has
- 34:33Speaker 1: now fallen. This will all change sooner than later, we're
- 34:37Speaker 1: being told under Taliban control because they realize how much
- 34:40Speaker 1: money they can get their hands on. That is exactly
- 34:43Speaker 1: why they've been meeting apparently around the clock with China
- 34:46Speaker 1: as well. Was even Pakistan and India, which may engage
- 34:50Speaker 1: despite the chaos because the money is just so big.
- 34:55Speaker 1: So now you understand the politics of what is happening
- 34:58Speaker 1: on the ground there. Now, Joe Biden has been busted Lyne,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I don't think anyone cares, at least in the media,
- 35:05Speaker 1: because Biden boldfaced lied to George Stepanopolis in this interview
- 35:09Speaker 1: saying that quote, military advisors did not warn him against withdrawing,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and he said, no, no, not one. No one said
- 35:16Speaker 1: to me that I can quote recall that we shouldn't
- 35:20Speaker 1: withdraw this way. When he was asked about the people
- 35:23Speaker 1: falling from the planes, he said that was four or
- 35:25Speaker 1: five days ago, acting like, what difference does it make
- 35:27Speaker 1: to quote Hillary Clinton? Who cares? That's old news? That
- 35:30Speaker 1: was days ago, days ago. It was actually two days ago.
- 35:35Speaker 1: When he was asked the question, but who's counting, right?
- 35:39Speaker 1: And for all the woke feminists that voted for Joe Biden,
- 35:42Speaker 1: right because he was gonna stand up for women's rights
- 35:44Speaker 1: and equal pay and and LGBTQ and all that, well,
- 35:48Speaker 1: he was asked about the women who are now going
- 35:50Speaker 1: to be executed, who are going to be put into
- 35:52Speaker 1: sex slavery, who are gonna not be allowed to walk
- 35:54Speaker 1: around the streets who are going to be not allowed
- 35:57Speaker 1: to go to school. He was asked about that and
- 36:00Speaker 1: what happened Afghanistan. Here's his response to ABC News Americans,
- 36:04Speaker 1: what do we owe the Afghans who are left behind,
- 36:06Speaker 1: particularly Afghan women who are facing the prospect of subjugation. Again,
- 36:11Speaker 1: as many as we can get out, we should. For example,
- 36:14Speaker 1: I had a meeting today for a couple hours in
- 36:16Speaker 1: the situation room just below here. There are Afghan women
- 36:19Speaker 1: outside the gate. I told them, get them on the planes,
- 36:21Speaker 1: get them out, get them out, get their families out
- 36:24Speaker 1: if you can. But here's the deal with George. The
- 36:28Speaker 1: idea that we're able to deal with the rights of
- 36:31Speaker 1: women around the world by military force is not rational.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Not rational. Look what's happened to the Wagers and Western China.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Look what's happened in other parts of the world. Look
- 36:43Speaker 1: what's happened in the Congo. I mean, there are a
- 36:46Speaker 1: lot of places where women are being subjugated. The way
- 36:49Speaker 1: to deal with that is not with the military invasion.
- 36:52Speaker 1: The way to deal with that is putting economic, diplomatic
- 36:55Speaker 1: and international pressure on them to change the behavior. Translation,
- 37:00Speaker 1: America now doesn't care. America's weak let them on the planes.
- 37:04Speaker 1: The problem is they're not letting them through the gates.
- 37:06Speaker 1: The problem is that Taliban is beating people going the airport.
- 37:08Speaker 1: The problem is people are being kidnapped going to the airport. Hell,
- 37:11Speaker 1: even CNN's own reporters are being attacked by the ends
- 37:14Speaker 1: of ak forty seven gun butts as they're walking down
- 37:18Speaker 1: the street. People are begging to get out of the country.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Taliban are killing women for not wearing burker's on the
- 37:23Speaker 1: same day they vowed to honor women's rights. Go look
- 37:26Speaker 1: at the New York Post today. They put the picture
- 37:28Speaker 1: up the Taliban has killed a woman for not wearing
- 37:31Speaker 1: a burker on the same day they vowed women's rights.
- 37:33Speaker 1: And this present says, well, we're just going to punt
- 37:35Speaker 1: to the international community and we'll figure it out that way.
- 37:39Speaker 1: They shot and killed a woman for not wearing a
- 37:41Speaker 1: burker in Afghanistan. The same day they pledged that we
- 37:45Speaker 1: are a new inclusive air of the Taliban and we
- 37:47Speaker 1: honor the women's rights. This photo emerge of the woman
- 37:50Speaker 1: in Takhar Province lying in a pool of blood, loved
- 37:54Speaker 1: ones crouched around her after she was killed by insurgents
- 37:56Speaker 1: for being in public without a head scarf. This is
- 37:59Speaker 1: the Taliban. We're also being told there's not enough headscarves
- 38:03Speaker 1: for women. And if you look at the satellite pictures
- 38:05Speaker 1: that are coming out and the pictures that are coming
- 38:07Speaker 1: out of Afghanistan and Kandahar right now, you can't find
- 38:10Speaker 1: women on the street anywhere. They're all now stuck in
- 38:12Speaker 1: their homes. Many of them, by the way, are widowed
- 38:15Speaker 1: because their husbands died fighting in Afghanistan. So how do
- 38:19Speaker 1: they get to the store, Because you're supposed to be
- 38:21Speaker 1: walked around by a family member, and if you don't,
- 38:23Speaker 1: they'll beat the hell out of you or kill your
- 38:24Speaker 1: shoot you in the face. But don't worry. Joe Biden's
- 38:27Speaker 1: liding telling you military advisors warned him against withdrawing, saying no, no,
- 38:31Speaker 1: no one said that to me. They're all saying that's
- 38:32Speaker 1: a lie. They're all saying that is a lie. I mean,
- 38:37Speaker 1: even George Stepanopolis wasn't believing what Joe Biden was selling
- 38:41Speaker 1: him in this interview. He pressed him on whether the
- 38:45Speaker 1: US exit from Afghanistan could have been handled better, and
- 38:49Speaker 1: Joe Biden got irritated, and what he described is basically,
- 38:53Speaker 1: there was no way for this not to be total chaos.
- 38:55Speaker 1: There was no way to plan for people to get
- 38:57Speaker 1: out of Afghanistan. There was no way for us to
- 38:59Speaker 1: do a better job, which the entire world knows is
- 39:01Speaker 1: total insanity. Yet he said it with a straight angry face.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Take a listen, look at what's happened over the last week.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Was it a failure of intelligence, planning, execution or judgment. Look,
- 39:13Speaker 1: I don't think it was a fan Look it was
- 39:15Speaker 1: a simple choice, George, when the Taliban let me back.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Put in another way, when you had the government of Afghanistan,
- 39:27Speaker 1: the leader of that government, getting into plane and taking
- 39:29Speaker 1: off and going another country. When you saw the significant
- 39:34Speaker 1: collapse of the of the Afghan troops, we had trained,
- 39:38Speaker 1: up to three hundred thousand of them, just leaving their
- 39:41Speaker 1: equipment and taking off, that was you know, I'm not
- 39:45Speaker 1: this is that. That's what happened. That's simply what happened.
- 39:48Speaker 1: But we've all seen the pictures. We've seen those hundreds
- 39:51Speaker 1: of people packed into a C seventeen. We've seen Afghans
- 39:55Speaker 1: falls four days ago, five days ago. What did you
- 39:58Speaker 1: think when you first saw those pictures? What I thought
- 40:00Speaker 1: was we have to gain control of this. We have
- 40:03Speaker 1: to move this more quickly. We have to move in
- 40:06Speaker 1: a way in which we can take control of that airport,
- 40:09Speaker 1: and we did so. You don't think this could have
- 40:11Speaker 1: been handled this six It could have been handled better
- 40:14Speaker 1: in any way, no mistakes. No, I don't think it
- 40:18Speaker 1: could have been handled in a way that we're gonna
- 40:22Speaker 1: go back in hindsight and look. But the idea that
- 40:24Speaker 1: somehow there's a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I don't know how that happens. I don't know how
- 40:32Speaker 1: that happened. So for you, that was always priced into
- 40:34Speaker 1: the decision. Yes, he's not just defiant, he's angry in
- 40:42Speaker 1: his defiance, which is delusional to say that we couldn't
- 40:45Speaker 1: have done any better than we could have done when
- 40:47Speaker 1: everybody was telling him to do it differently, when everybody
- 40:49Speaker 1: in the military is saying we could do a better job.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I mean, the Pentagon right now is saying, oh, well,
- 40:54Speaker 1: we're working to fill every seat on each plane. No,
- 40:56Speaker 1: you're not. If you were, you'll be telling the how Ben,
- 41:00Speaker 1: We're gonna blow you up if you don't give our
- 41:03Speaker 1: people a safe passage to the airport, which is not
- 41:05Speaker 1: what you're saying and are doing right now. You know,
- 41:08Speaker 1: Joe Biden even said it's quote not true that my
- 41:11Speaker 1: military advisors warned me against withdrawing. Even ABC News Good
- 41:16Speaker 1: Morning America, George Sepanopolis couldn't spend this for this deranged
- 41:20Speaker 1: president the United States America that clearly cannot handle his
- 41:24Speaker 1: job and his duties right now. Even when they introduced
- 41:28Speaker 1: the segment, they basically knew that he had cooked his
- 41:32Speaker 1: own goose, that it was too far gone almost to
- 41:37Speaker 1: try to even explain his decisions away because it was
- 41:42Speaker 1: so out of touch with reality. The US troop withdrawal
- 41:45Speaker 1: from Afghanistan, and George, we know you pressed the president
- 41:48Speaker 1: on the aftermath of that withdrawal, those frantic scenes at
- 41:51Speaker 1: the Kabbel Airport, thousands of Americans and Afghans desperate to
- 41:54Speaker 1: escape as the Taliban tightens its great that's right, Amy,
- 41:57Speaker 1: and the President promised for the first time that the
- 41:59Speaker 1: US mility would stay as long as it takes to
- 42:01Speaker 1: get all Americans out. He was also defiant, insisting we
- 42:04Speaker 1: had to get out now, admitting no mistakes. Back in July,
- 42:08Speaker 1: you said a Taliban takeover was highly unlikely. Was the
- 42:12Speaker 1: intelligence wrong or did you downplay it. There was no consensus.
- 42:15Speaker 1: You go back and look at the intelligence reports, they
- 42:17Speaker 1: said that it was more likely to be sometime by
- 42:20Speaker 1: the end of the year. You didn't put a timeline
- 42:22Speaker 1: out when you said it was highly unlike you just
- 42:24Speaker 1: said flat out as highly unlikely the Taliban would take over. Yeah, well,
- 42:28Speaker 1: the question was whether or not. The idea that the
- 42:31Speaker 1: Taliban would take over was premised on the notion that
- 42:37Speaker 1: somehow the three hundred thousand troops we had trained and
- 42:40Speaker 1: equipped was going to just collapse. They We're going to
- 42:42Speaker 1: give up. I don't think anybody anticipated that. Senator mcconagall
- 42:45Speaker 1: said it was predictable the Taliban was going to take over.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Well by the end of the year. It said that
- 42:50Speaker 1: that was the real possibility, But no one said it
- 42:52Speaker 1: was going to take over then when it was being asked,
- 42:54Speaker 1: when you look at what's happened over the last week,
- 42:57Speaker 1: was it a failure of intelligence, planning, execution or judgment. Look,
- 43:03Speaker 1: I don't think it was a fan Look it was
- 43:04Speaker 1: a simple choice, George, when the Taliban let me back.
- 43:09Speaker 1: And put it another way, when you had the government
- 43:13Speaker 1: of Afghanistan, the leader of that government get into plane
- 43:17Speaker 1: and taking off and going another country. When you saw
- 43:21Speaker 1: the significant collapse of the Afghan troops. We had trained
- 43:26Speaker 1: up to three hundred thousand of them just leaving their
- 43:28Speaker 1: equipment and taking off, that was you know, I'm not
- 43:33Speaker 1: that's what happened. That's simply what happened. So the question
- 43:37Speaker 1: was in the beginning, the threshold question was do we
- 43:41Speaker 1: commit to leave within the time frame was set. We
- 43:45Speaker 1: extended it to September first, or do we put significantly
- 43:49Speaker 1: more troops in I hear people say, well, you had
- 43:52Speaker 1: twenty five hundred folks in there and nothing was happening.
- 43:55Speaker 1: You know, there wasn't any war. But guess what the
- 43:58Speaker 1: fact was that the reason wasn't happening. It is the
- 44:01Speaker 1: last president negotiated a year earlier. By the way, I
- 44:03Speaker 1: love it. There there we go blame Trump and this
- 44:07Speaker 1: idea that he's trying to get a bail out here
- 44:09Speaker 1: saying why I inherited this mess? Right, I inherited this policy.
- 44:13Speaker 1: If that's true, then explain why you got rid of
- 44:16Speaker 1: the Keystone pipeline. Which pipeline which is a policy that
- 44:18Speaker 1: you inherited. You inherited a secure border and you did
- 44:24Speaker 1: the opposite of that policy. So explain that logic away.
- 44:30Speaker 1: You inherited a president that actually gave a crap about
- 44:35Speaker 1: American citizens and made sure they weren't harmed by the Taliban.
- 44:39Speaker 1: You change that policy. You inherited a policy of a
- 44:42Speaker 1: present that was tough on China. You got rid of
- 44:44Speaker 1: that one. You inherited energy independence, you got rid of
- 44:48Speaker 1: that one. So this idea that you were somehow stuck
- 44:51Speaker 1: to a policy of the other guys. So therefore it's
- 44:55Speaker 1: really somehow jedi mind trick. His fault is insanity. It
- 45:01Speaker 1: is total insanity. Now this present, by the way, new
- 45:07Speaker 1: reports revealed the victim who clung to the US evac
- 45:09Speaker 1: plane and fell from the sky was actually a child,
- 45:14Speaker 1: and the response from this president should shake every single
- 45:18Speaker 1: one of you to its core. His response was that
- 45:21Speaker 1: was four or five days ago. In other words, move on,
- 45:24Speaker 1: get over it, get over it. You know. He also
- 45:29Speaker 1: tried to Jedi mind triggers on something else, saying, well,
- 45:32Speaker 1: the Taliban is facing an existential threat. They aren't. They're
- 45:36Speaker 1: not acting like it. Bro, They are certainly not acting
- 45:40Speaker 1: like it. But Joe Biden sitting there trying to convince
- 45:44Speaker 1: you that this is somehow Donald Trump's fault because you
- 45:47Speaker 1: inherited a policy, but every other policy of Trump's that
- 45:50Speaker 1: you inherited, you undid that he'd be out by May first,
- 45:54Speaker 1: and that the return there'd be no attack on American forces.
- 45:58Speaker 1: That's what was done. That's why it was happening. But
- 46:01Speaker 1: the idea if I had said I had a simple choice,
- 46:04Speaker 1: if I had said we're going to stay, then we
- 46:07Speaker 1: better be prepare to put a whole hell of a
- 46:08Speaker 1: lot more truth. Your top military advisers warned against was
- 46:11Speaker 1: joining in this timeline. They wanted you to keep about
- 46:15Speaker 1: it was split. That wasn't true. Again, he just lied
- 46:18Speaker 1: to you. He just lied to you. What you're hearing
- 46:22Speaker 1: right now is a lie. This is one of the
- 46:27Speaker 1: biggest lies he told this interview. And if George Stepanopolis,
- 46:31Speaker 1: in my opinion, had any any integrity as a journalist,
- 46:39Speaker 1: he would say exactly that, he would say, this is
- 46:44Speaker 1: a lie. Let's let's really think about where we are.
- 46:48Speaker 1: You have a Taliban flag flying over the US embassy.
- 46:51Speaker 1: You have fifteen thousand American prisoners in a terrorist state.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You have civilians flying off American plains to their death.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Now we note they also include children. The terrorist regime
- 47:02Speaker 1: is armed with billions of dollars in US weapons. You're
- 47:06Speaker 1: now seeing mass murder in these streets. Al Qaeda anaisis
- 47:11Speaker 1: now embolden and have a country and a trillion dollars
- 47:14Speaker 1: worth of assets to fund themselves with making deals with
- 47:17Speaker 1: Russians and Chinese. And Biden says this was his plan
- 47:24Speaker 1: and his response the people funding the plan that was
- 47:27Speaker 1: like four or five days ago. I mean, you think
- 47:30Speaker 1: about how messed up the Democrats are right now. We've
- 47:32Speaker 1: actually gone from defunding the police to arming terrorists, defunding
- 47:37Speaker 1: the police to arming terrorists. Think about that. You look
- 47:42Speaker 1: at these highlights from Biden's interview quote, did not recall
- 47:47Speaker 1: being warned by US military to not push ahead with
- 47:49Speaker 1: his plan, did not know US had troops in Syria
- 47:54Speaker 1: that was in the interview, did not know certain events
- 47:56Speaker 1: and kabble happened this week because he was on vacation
- 47:59Speaker 1: and did not know people were getting killed. You're seeing
- 48:01Speaker 1: a pattern here. This guy clearly cannot handle what is happening.
- 48:07Speaker 1: And Biden flatly denied reporting that he was advised to
- 48:11Speaker 1: keep two thousand, five hundred troops Afghanistan, and his own
- 48:13Speaker 1: intelligence community is now throwing him under the bus for
- 48:15Speaker 1: that lie in this interview. The Pentagon right now has
- 48:21Speaker 1: just come out just showing how stupid this decision was
- 48:25Speaker 1: to pull out of Afghanistan the way that we did.
- 48:28Speaker 1: And they have now said, after being browbeat by reporters
- 48:31Speaker 1: that yes, we can confirm that we do not know
- 48:35Speaker 1: how many Americans are left in Afghanistan. We don't know.
- 48:40Speaker 1: So the President nine States America said he did it perfect,
- 48:43Speaker 1: did it right? Do it again? Refuse us to back
- 48:46Speaker 1: down and say he screwed up or made a mistake.
- 48:49Speaker 1: And you have a Pentagon now admitting we have no
- 48:51Speaker 1: idea how many Americans are there. We have no idea
- 48:53Speaker 1: how many Americans could be held hostage. We have no
- 48:55Speaker 1: idea how many of them could become propaganda for the Taliban.
- 48:58Speaker 1: What we do know is the Taliban is intensifying their
- 49:02Speaker 1: hunt for Afghans who worked for the US and uk IS.
- 49:05Speaker 1: They are now going door to door threatening relatives. United
- 49:09Speaker 1: Nations is reporting this now, and they're like, not conservative folks.
- 49:13Speaker 1: They are now reporting and warning despite the terror groups
- 49:17Speaker 1: claims of amnesty for these people, the Jehattas are going
- 49:20Speaker 1: door to door threatening families of those who have gone
- 49:22Speaker 1: into hiding. The UN papers now warned the militants are
- 49:26Speaker 1: wresting and killing relatives. They are also stopping others trying
- 49:30Speaker 1: to leave from the area around the Couple airport. Are
- 49:33Speaker 1: going to the airport their reports of officials who have
- 49:36Speaker 1: been shot dead after surrendering to the Taliban. They are
- 49:40Speaker 1: intensifying their hunt for people who worked with the UK,
- 49:42Speaker 1: US and NATO forces in Afghansian. This is coming from
- 49:45Speaker 1: the UN, of course, It's supposed to be a confidential
- 49:48Speaker 1: report internally within the UN. It's been leaked, thank goodness.
- 49:52Speaker 1: Je Hottas are going door to door killing relatives of
- 49:56Speaker 1: civil servants, interpreters and other counselors staff, while other militants
- 50:00Speaker 1: are even stopping people outside the Kabul airport. Despite the
- 50:04Speaker 1: Taliban's claim of amnesty, the UN says new video today
- 50:08Speaker 1: shows fighters sprang Sprang assault rifle bullets just yards away
- 50:14Speaker 1: from women and children gathered at the airport's perimeter. The
- 50:17Speaker 1: UN dossier leak to The New York Times says the
- 50:20Speaker 1: Taliban arresting and or killing or arresting family members of
- 50:24Speaker 1: targeted individuals unless they surrender themselves the Taliban, and then
- 50:27Speaker 1: when they surrender, they're being killed. Yeah, that's a letter
- 50:31Speaker 1: dated three days ago. Just so you know this letter.
- 50:37Speaker 1: It contained a letter dated August the sixteenth from the
- 50:40Speaker 1: Taliban to a senior counter terrorism official in Afghanistan who
- 50:43Speaker 1: had worked alongside the US and British officials. The letter
- 50:46Speaker 1: ordered the man to report to the Military Intelligence Commission
- 50:48Speaker 1: of the Islamic State of Afghanistan and Kabul. If he
- 50:51Speaker 1: failed to do so, it warned that his family will
- 50:53Speaker 1: be treated based on Sharia law, meaning they'll all be murdered.
- 50:57Speaker 1: The senior Afghan official told The Telegraph been forcing a
- 51:00Speaker 1: deep hiding to avoid the martyring fighters who they suspect
- 51:04Speaker 1: of gain access to government employee databases. Earlier this week,
- 51:09Speaker 1: former British army officials told the same paper that hundreds
- 51:13Speaker 1: of elite Afghan soldiers had gone into hiding and we're
- 51:15Speaker 1: trying to flee the country because they're now on the
- 51:17Speaker 1: kill list. And when they find them, they behead them
- 51:19Speaker 1: and cut their arms off in torture them in the streets.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Let's go back to Joe Biden real quick. Joe Biden says,
- 51:25Speaker 1: I did this perfectly. There's nothing that could have gone wrong.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Differently here. This was going to happen anyway, and I
- 51:29Speaker 1: did it right now. He's also been caught in a
- 51:33Speaker 1: major line. George Stepanopolis asked him a question. I'm going
- 51:36Speaker 1: to play this audio for you, but I want to
- 51:37Speaker 1: read you the transcript first so you know exactly what
- 51:40Speaker 1: to listen for. Here, Biden flatly denies reporting that he
- 51:46Speaker 1: was advised to keep two thousand, five hundred troops in Afghanistan.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna read you George Stepanopolis's words so you understand
- 51:53Speaker 1: what he said. He said, but your top military advisors
- 51:56Speaker 1: had warned against withdrawing on this timeline. They wanted you
- 52:00Speaker 1: to keep about two thousand and five hundred troops. Biden interrupts, No,
- 52:05Speaker 1: they didn't. It was split that that wasn't true. That
- 52:10Speaker 1: wasn't true. Biden's stumbles. Stephanopolis, they didn't tell you that
- 52:15Speaker 1: you wanted troops, that they wanted troops to stay, question
- 52:18Speaker 1: Mark Biden. No, no, no, not not in terms of
- 52:22Speaker 1: whether we were going to get out in a time
- 52:24Speaker 1: frame all troops. They didn't argue against that, Stephanopolis. He
- 52:29Speaker 1: knows he's right. By the way, Stephnnopolis knows everybody in
- 52:33Speaker 1: the intelligence community was leaking and telling them. We told
- 52:35Speaker 1: Biden not to do this, We told him to leave troops.
- 52:38Speaker 1: So no one told you by Stevenopolis says, your military
- 52:43Speaker 1: advisors did not tell you. No, we should just keep
- 52:47Speaker 1: two thousand and five hundred troops. It's been a stable
- 52:50Speaker 1: situation for last several years. We can do that, We
- 52:53Speaker 1: can continue to do that. Question Mark Biden even more angry. No,
- 52:59Speaker 1: no one said that to me that I can recall.
- 53:03Speaker 1: He knows he's busted. Look, George, the reason why it's
- 53:07Speaker 1: been stable for a year is that because the last
- 53:09Speaker 1: present said we're leaving. And here's the deal I want
- 53:12Speaker 1: to make with you, Taliban. We're agreeing to leave if
- 53:15Speaker 1: you agree not to attack us between now and the
- 53:17Speaker 1: time we leave on May the first. So now it's
- 53:20Speaker 1: Trump's vault again. He's pandering back to that Stepanopholis interjects,
- 53:25Speaker 1: but your top military advisors warned against withdrawing on the timeline.
- 53:30Speaker 1: They wanted you to keep two thousand, five hundred troops.
- 53:33Speaker 1: Biden angry. No, they didn't. I'm going to play that
- 53:38Speaker 1: audio for you so you can hear it now, and
- 53:40Speaker 1: you know what the lies are. Military advisors warned against
- 53:43Speaker 1: was drawing on this timeline. They wanted you to keep
- 53:45Speaker 1: about twenty They didn't. It was split. That wasn't true.
- 53:49Speaker 1: That wasn't true. They didn't tell you that they wanted
- 53:52Speaker 1: troops to stay. No, not in terms of whether we
- 53:56Speaker 1: were going to get out in a time frame all troops.
- 54:00Speaker 1: They didn't argue against that. So no one, no one
- 54:03Speaker 1: told your military and not tell you, no, we should
- 54:06Speaker 1: just keep twenty five hundred troops. It's been a stable
- 54:08Speaker 1: situation for the less several years. We can do that,
- 54:10Speaker 1: we can continue to do that. No no one said
- 54:13Speaker 1: that to me that our can room call. Look, George,
- 54:17Speaker 1: the reason why it has been stable for a year
- 54:20Speaker 1: is because the last president said, we're leaving. And here's
- 54:24Speaker 1: the deal I want to make with you, Taliban. We're
- 54:27Speaker 1: agreeing to leave if you agreeing not to attack us
- 54:29Speaker 1: between now and the time we leave on May the first.
- 54:31Speaker 1: But in two months after I elected to office, hous
- 54:35Speaker 1: sworn in all of a sudden, I have a May
- 54:37Speaker 1: one deadline. I have a made one deadline. I want
- 54:41Speaker 1: or two choices. Do I say we're staying and do
- 54:45Speaker 1: you think we would not have to put a hell
- 54:46Speaker 1: of a lot more troops we had, we had one hundreds,
- 54:48Speaker 1: We had tens of thousands of troops there before, tens
- 54:51Speaker 1: of thousands. Do you think we would would have just said,
- 54:55Speaker 1: no problem, don't worry about it. We're not going to
- 54:58Speaker 1: attack anybody. We're okay. In meantime, the Taliban was taken
- 55:02Speaker 1: territory all throughout the country, in the north and down
- 55:06Speaker 1: in the south and the Pashtun. So would you have
- 55:08Speaker 1: withdrawn troops like this even if President Trump had not
- 55:11Speaker 1: made that deal with the Taliban, I would have tried
- 55:13Speaker 1: to figure out how to withdraw those troops. Yes, because look, George,
- 55:19Speaker 1: there is no good time to leave Afghanistan. Fifteen years
- 55:25Speaker 1: ago would have been a problem fifteen years from now.
- 55:28Speaker 1: The basic choice is am I going to send your
- 55:31Speaker 1: sons and your daughters to war in Afghanistan? In Afghanistan
- 55:37Speaker 1: in perpetuity. No one can name for me a time
- 55:42Speaker 1: when this would end. And again, this is the delusional
- 55:45Speaker 1: high ground that Biden is going with right here, right Well,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I'm not going to keep sending your children to war.
- 55:50Speaker 1: So if you're caught behind enemy lines and you're the
- 55:52Speaker 1: ten thousand are going to be murdered and massacred by
- 55:55Speaker 1: the Taliban. Hey, at least there's an end in sight.
- 55:58Speaker 1: We also just got an official. Remember the guy that
- 56:01Speaker 1: we had in Getmo, the guy that we traded for
- 56:03Speaker 1: the deserter beau burg Doll in that prisoner swap when
- 56:06Speaker 1: we negotiated with terrorists done under Biden and Obama administration.
- 56:11Speaker 1: The new leader of the Taliban we had in Getmo.
- 56:14Speaker 1: He's now in charge of the Taliban. Taliban officials have
- 56:18Speaker 1: just announced the Taliban group will rule Afghanistan with Sharia law,
- 56:24Speaker 1: putting women back in the stone ages, and no democratic system.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Four days ago they told us women we're going to
- 56:30Speaker 1: be in the government. Yeah, they lied. That's who we're
- 56:35Speaker 1: trusting for our people's safety. Right now, Taliban officials announced
- 56:39Speaker 1: the group will rule Afghanistan with Sharia law and no
- 56:41Speaker 1: democratic system. And the man who announces the same man
- 56:47Speaker 1: that we had in Ghetmo that we let out and
- 56:50Speaker 1: traded for the deserter bo Bergdall. I'll say it again,
- 56:55Speaker 1: all of this was avoidable. Every bit of it was avoidable,
- 57:07Speaker 1: all of it. And this president is sitting there basically saying,
- 57:13Speaker 1: I don't care what you say to me. I was right.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Afghan women are throwing their babies over barb wire to
- 57:21Speaker 1: save them. We have video now. Video is showing babies
- 57:25Speaker 1: being passed to strangers and crowds to get them evacuated.
- 57:30Speaker 1: People passing their infant children to others in the crowd
- 57:33Speaker 1: ahead of them at the Kabul airport, hoping that the
- 57:35Speaker 1: babies and toddlers will be evacuated and have a better
- 57:38Speaker 1: life because they know they're going to be killed. Other
- 57:41Speaker 1: reports indicated women were actually throwing their babies over the
- 57:44Speaker 1: bob wire in a desperate attempt to save them because
- 57:46Speaker 1: some of the soldiers wouldn't take them, and they basically said,
- 57:48Speaker 1: well if I throw them, you're gonna have to. Senior
- 57:52Speaker 1: official said to Sky News they have no choice because
- 57:55Speaker 1: the situation's out of control. They said, the blackbe will
- 57:58Speaker 1: live with some of these soldiers their lives. It's terrible.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Women were throwing their babies over the razor wire asking
- 58:04Speaker 1: the soldiers to please take them. Some of them got
- 58:07Speaker 1: caught in the bob troops, reported. Another said our men
- 58:12Speaker 1: are going to have to have counseling, saying every soldier
- 58:15Speaker 1: cried last night. The report from Kibol by war correspondent
- 58:22Speaker 1: of I Knews, so it's one of the most upsetting
- 58:24Speaker 1: stories they've ever published and the Kabol Airport. A parachute
- 58:28Speaker 1: regiment officer told Kim that Afghan mothers have been trying
- 58:31Speaker 1: to throw their babies over the bob wire to British
- 58:34Speaker 1: servicemen as well, in the hopes that their children can
- 58:36Speaker 1: be saved from life under the Taliban. Some of the
- 58:38Speaker 1: babies did not reach the troops. The Washington Post this
- 58:44Speaker 1: morning printing an article describing what life was like for
- 58:46Speaker 1: some children the last time the Taliban rolled in Afghanistan
- 58:49Speaker 1: from ninety six to one quote, the outside world got
- 58:53Speaker 1: periodic glimpses into the country even though taking photos was forbidden.
- 58:57Speaker 1: There was video of an Afghan mother forced to kneel
- 58:59Speaker 1: in the stadium shot dead between the goal posts. There
- 59:02Speaker 1: were photos of children dying of preventable illnesses in a
- 59:06Speaker 1: dilapidated pediatric hospital the US State Department in November one,
- 59:11Speaker 1: just after the United States had out of the Taliban
- 59:13Speaker 1: from power quote. Under Taliban rule, women were given only
- 59:16Speaker 1: the most rudimentary access to healthcare and medical care, thereby
- 59:20Speaker 1: endangering the health of women and in turn their families.
- 59:22Speaker 1: In most hospitals, male physicians could only examine a female
- 59:25Speaker 1: patient if she was fully clothed, ruling out the possibility
- 59:28Speaker 1: of meaningful diagnosis and treatment. Sharia laws coming back. According
- 59:35Speaker 1: to the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund Unit South,
- 59:38Speaker 1: one hundred and sixty five of every thousand babies died
- 59:41Speaker 1: before their first birthday in Afghanistan under Taliban rule. And
- 59:45Speaker 1: they just said they're bringing back the same laws that
- 59:47Speaker 1: allowed this to happen. And Joe Biden says, couldn't have
- 59:49Speaker 1: done a better job than I did trying to get
- 59:51Speaker 1: people out. We did it perfect, he said today in
- 59:54Speaker 1: this interview. Wouldn't change a thing, wouldn't do anything different.
- 59:58Speaker 1: I want you to being a United States citizen, this
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: is real life. This is not hypothetical. And I want
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you to imagine assuming thinking that you are a part
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: of the greatest country in the world, that your country
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: will protect you at all costs, that your life is
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: valued by the United States government. There is almost a
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: protective dome around you. Virtually everywhere in the world, every
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: human smuggler, every sex trafficker, leader of any terrorist group
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: cartel in the world knows there will be a heavy
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: price to pay if you abduct or kill an American citizen.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: That has been universal for my entire lifetime. That's been
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: universal since World War One. For many people that are listening.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: War two, there was a very clear message in the
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: United States government to anyone in Canada, anyone in Mexico,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: anyone in Afghanistan, that if you screw with an American citizen,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: there will be hell to pay. You also knew that
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: if you know what hit the fan, that America was
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: going to have your back because you're an American citizen,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: because your life is valuable, your life is important. We'll imagine,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: because this is real life now being an Afghanistan. Imagine
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: being one of the ten to twenty thousand Americans who
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: are caught behind Taliban checkpoints, behind enemy lines literally and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: waiting for the United States government to come get you,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: or at least give you safe passage to them, or
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: escorting you in a country that we have controlled for
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: twenty years, that we abandon because of a president who
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: is still on vacation as we speak. This is the
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: note that Americans received from the State Department. Dear citizens,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: thank you for registering your request to evacuate Afghanistan. This
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: is the email you get as an American citizen. The
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: US Embassy in Afghanistan has confirmed that an undefined number
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: of US government provided flights will soon begin. Then, an
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: italic bold it says, quote, please make your way to
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the international airport at this time, an international airport that
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you can't get to because the Taliban has totally surrounded
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that airport, even though the American soldiers are on the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: ground within the perimeter of the airport. Please be advised
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: that then says in all capital letters and in bold,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: please be advised that the United States government cannot guarantee
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: your security as you make this trip. There is no
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: help for you. There is no American help on the way. Now,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the media has been trying to figure out a way
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to blame Donald Trump for all of this. Trump sat
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: down with Sean Handy on Fox News and explain the
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: difference between his policy and Biden's and why no Americans
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: were screwed with when he was present Afghanistan. Take a listen.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I've had a number of people tell me that there
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: were very specific conditions and the very specific warnings that
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you gave personally to the talibad Joe Biden is trying
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to blame you. I want first to give you an
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: opportunity to respond to that, your assessment of what's going
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: on and what was that conversation to the extent you
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: feel you're able to share it with us, Well, it's
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: good to be with you, Jean. But it's a terrible
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: time for our country. I don't think in all of
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the years our country has ever been so humiliated. I
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: don't know, would you go to military defeat or a
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: psychological defeat. There's never been anything like what's happened here.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: You can go back to Jimmy Carter with the hostages.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: We all thought that was a great embarrassment, and we
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: were pulled out of that by Ronald Reagan. This is many,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: many times worse, and you're dealing with thousands and thousands
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: of Americans and others that are stranded and very dangerously
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: really stranded in Afghanistan. So it's something that you can't
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: even believe that a thing like this, kid. I looked
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: at that big monster cargo plane yesterday with people grabbing
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: the side and trying to get flown out of Afghanistan
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: because of their fear, their incredible fear, and they're blowing
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: off the plane from two thousand feet up in the air.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: It's nobody's ever seen anything like that. That blows the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: helicopters in Vietnam away. That's not even a contest. This
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: has been the most humiliating period of time I've ever seen. Yeah,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: we had a great deal. We worked on it very hard.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Mike Pompeo, a brilliant guy, and many others worked on
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: it endlessly. Meetings with the Taliban, of course, you have
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to meet with the Taliban. They're the ones that you're
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: negotiating with. I spoke on numerous occasions to the head
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: of the Taliban, and we had a very strong conversation.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I told them up front, I said, look, before we start,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: let me just tell you right now that if anything
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: bad happens to Americans or anybody else, or have you
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: ever come over to our land, we will hit you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: with a force that no country has ever been hit
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: with before, a force so great that you won't even
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: believe it. And you a village, and we know where
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: it is, and I named it will be the first one.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: This first dropped right there. You said this to who? Yeah,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: who did you said to who? To Mullah Baradar, who
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: is probably the top person. Now, nobody really knows who
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the top person is, but I would say that's probably
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: the top person, and it seems to be that's the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: way it's rolling right now. But I had a very
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: strong conversation. I also had a good conversation with him.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: We talked for a while after that. I was the
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: primary point I was making and he understood it. And
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: I asked him, do you understand? He said, yes, I
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: do understand. And I wanted them to get a deal
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: done with the Afghan government. Now. I never had a
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: lot of confidence, frankly in Ghani. I said that openly
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: and plainly. I thought he was a total crook. I
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: thought he got away with murder. He spent all his
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: time whining and dining our senators, and the senators were
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: in his pocket. That was one of the problems that
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: we had. But I never liked him. And I guess
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: based on his escape with cash, I don't know, maybe
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: that's a true story. I would suspect it is. Well,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you have to do is look at his lifestyle, study
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: his houses where he lives. He got away with murder
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: and many different ways. But I had a very very
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: strong talk with the Taliban, which I considered to be
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: much more important in the sense because they were the problem,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and they'd been there for a long time, and they're
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: good fighters and they fight hard. And after I said that,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: we had a pretty good conversation. Now I have to
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: tell you that if you remember, when they were coming
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: to Washington to meet with me, they decided to kill
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: an American soldier because they thought that was a good
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: way to negotiate. And I canceled the trip and we
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: had a conditions based agreement, and if you remember, it said,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: May first, we want to get out because we have
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to get out. I've listened to people on your show
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and other shows say we should stay. They don't know.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: We were spending forty two billion dollars a year. Forty
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: two billion. Think of it, forty two billion. I understand
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Russia spends fifty billion a year for their entire military.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: We were spending forty two billion, not one percent. They
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: were saying one percent. That's a lot of nonsense. We're
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: spending forty two billion dollars a year on defending this
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: for years and years. We've been there really now, not
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: twenty years, but twenty one and a half years, and
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: we get nothing out of any of these things that
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: we do, whether it's them or many other countries I
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: could tell you about. I'm not going to insult anybody
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: right now, but to spend that kind of money and
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: then to have people get on shows and say how
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: inexpensive it was. And I have to tell you also
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: that we lost no soldiers in the last year and
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: a half because of me and because of the understanding
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: that we had. We lost not to think of that
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: in Chicago and in New York and in other cities
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: in the United States, many people die every weekend. We
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: lost no soldiers in Afghanistan because they knew I wasn't
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: going to put up with it. Now, the world knew
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: don't screw with the United States of America. They knew
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: not to screw with them because Donald Trump didn't screw around.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump made sure that Americans were always safe. Donald
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Trump made sure that your life had a protective dome
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: over it anywhere in the world, and if you screwed
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: with us, there would be hell to pay. The dome
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: that was around Americans of protection anywhere in the world
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: was a precedent that every president until Joe Biden has followed.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I'll give you an example of how much an American
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: life was not to be screwed with. When Donald Trump
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: was the president, he tweeted this out July twenty second,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: twenty eighteen to the Iranian president Irwani, never ever threatened
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: the United States again, or you will suffer consequences the
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: We are no longer a country that will stand for
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: your for your demented words, we are no longer a country.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Trump then said that will stand for your demented words
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: of violence and death. Be cautious. Now Donald Trump can't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: tweet anything like that anymore. But the Taliban has Twitter
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: accounts that they're using to orchestrate their attacks and killing
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: us at people. Think about that for a moment with
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: big tech, and you want to know how little this
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: administration values the American lives. The ten to twenty thousand
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: that are now in Afghanistan, and we are now seeing
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: pictures of people being beheaded. We are now seeing pictures
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: of people that are murdered in the streets. We now
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: know that people are being dismembered in the streets, all
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: caught on video. For example, in Jalalabad, they caught an
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: interpreter that helped American troops. They took him out into
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the streets, they cut his arms off, and then they
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: beheaded him. They also killed his family. They only spared
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the ten year old daughter of that interpreter, who they
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: then gave to the commander of the Taliban for a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: sex slave. Of course, they call it a wife, So
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: it's okay. But if you want to know how little
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: your life now matters, and how little backing you have
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: from the President of the United States America when it
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: comes to your life, Biden's advisor and remember, this president
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: has not talked to any world leader. This president has
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: not spoken with anybody while this is going on to
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: try to stop it. He's been on vacation m I
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: A for the last five days. Intelligence we now know,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and even the New York Times is reporting this as
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: we speak. Their headline. Intelligence warned multiple times of Afghan
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: military collapse despite Biden's assurances. This is the New York
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Times reporting this now, and Biden's advisors has a message
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: for all Americans who are stranded. Quote, you should trust
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: the Taliban for safe passage to the airport. Just when
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you thought the Biden administration couldn't mess this up, anymore.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: The administration came out on TV and laid out one
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: of the most insane plans that has ever happened in
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the history of America evacuations, their plan to evacuate twenty
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: thousand or ten thousand, or fifteen thousand American citizens currently
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: stranded in Afghanistan. The National Security Advisor Jake Silvan held
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: a press conference yesterday and said the Taliban quote has
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: informed them that they'll provide quote safe passage for Americans
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: to the Kable airport. So now he expects stranded Americans
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: to just trust the Taliban who are beheading people and
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: killing people in the streets right now. The same regime
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: that helped plan the nine to eleven attacks and fund
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: the nine to eleven attacks is who the Americans citizens
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: are supposed to trust to allow them to go to
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: the airport while they're behetting people in the streets. You
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: cannot make this up. Now, the media, they are trying
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: to give some cover to Joe Biden and this total fiasco,
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: and how they're doing it now is by saying, well,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Trump is the one that put this ball into motion.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Trump is the one that set the president to get
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: out of Afghanistan. That is a lie to get out
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: this way. Donald Trump would have never left Americans behind
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: and would have never In fact, there was a date
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: to get out, and they extended the date because the
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Taliban didn't keep up their end of the agreement, and
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump was asked about that by Sean Hannity listened
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: to how all of this unfolded when he was the president.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: You know, it's interesting to listen Joe Biden blame you.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I inherited this deal, he kept saying. But he also
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: inherited secure borders, and he also inherited energy independence, and
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: he also inherited three vaccines and therapeutics like Regeneron, and
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: we now see what's been unfolding, and he didn't have
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: inflation at the time. I want to go back. This
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: is I want to be very clear here because because
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Secretary of State Pompeo on this program said exactly what
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you did, that there wouldn't be an exit strategy that
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: didn't include the current conditions on the ground. And I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: have multiple sources and you're confirming tonight that it sounds
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: to me like you told the Taliban that if they
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: violated any aspect of this agreement with territorial ambitions. We
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: learned last week that sixty percent of the country was
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: in their control, and you told them in no uncertain terms.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Sounds to me like you would basically treat them like
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: you took care of the caliphate in Syria. Isis well?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: We did. We get rid of the caliphate. Everyone said
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: it was impossible, and I did it very quickly, and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I let the generals make the decisions. The generals are
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: real generals, the ones that were over there doing the fighting,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the ones that knew how to do it. Because we
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: have a lot of generals that shouldn't be generals right now, frankly,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: and I'm watching them all the time. But we have
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: some great ones. We have great leaders in our military.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: We have the greatest military in the world, and we're
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: giving it a very bad reputation. What's happening? Think of it.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: We took this horrible place, I mean, a place that
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: just we shouldn't have been involved. It was a horrible
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: decision going into the Middle East. And I know the
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Bush family will not be happy, but I believe it
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: was the worst decision in the history of our country
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: when we decided to go into the Middle East. It's
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: turned out to be quicksand we've destroyed the Middle East.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: And do you think it's better now than it was
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty one years ago? It's much worse. It was
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: a horrible decision costs US trillions of dollars and and
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: if you look at both sides, because I like to
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: look at both sides, millions and millions of lives, and
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: it's no different than it was. It's much worse because
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: you have to rebuild. It has been blown to pieces.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: The worst decision ever made was going you can do
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: a strike as retribution, and it could be a big
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: strike as retribution for the World Trade Center, etc. But
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: to get stuck in there was like quicksand. So we
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: did a terrible thing. But think of what's happening now.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: I've heard as many as forty thousand Americans and the
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Taliban good fighters. I will tell you they're good fighters.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: We have to give them credit for that. They've been
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: fighting for a thousand years. That's what they do, is
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: they fight. The Taliban has circled the airport, and who
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: knows if they're going to treat us right. You know,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: all of a sudden they'll say, well, frankly, if they
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: were smart, they really and they are smart, and they
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: are smart, they should let the Americans out. But we've
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: had situations where you have two or three or four hostages.
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: We could have forty Americans, not to mention others like
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: people that helped us in Afghanistan. So we've never had
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: a situation like this. We have forty thousand potential hostages,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: a minimum on eleven thousand, but it could be as
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: many as forty. We have no idea how many. Nobody
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: knows how many. Now for those Americans trapped, we are
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: now seeing violence erupting exactly what you would expect from
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the Taliban. Jolaabad Taliban is open fire on protesters for
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: replacing the group's flag. Hundreds of civilians and Jalabad have
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: been maskered now to protest replacement of the national flag,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the Afghan flag in public spaces with the Taliban flag.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: The Taliban then decided, all right, watch this, and they
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: opened fire into the crowd. Now, these are the same
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: people they're supposed to be protecting American citizens while they're
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: on their way to the airport. An Afghan woman has
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: also been killed for not wearing a burka, shot in
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the face after being drug into the street to make
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: an example of her. This after the Taliban spokesman went
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: on Twitter, the same place that Donald Trump can't tweet from,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: to make new claims that they are going to quote
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: protect women's rights again. American lives are basically worth nothing
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: to this president in this White House, and they apparently
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: are totally okay with this happening right now. It is
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: a disaster at the White House, and Jensaki did exactly
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: what you would not want a press secretary to do.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I want to also make something very clear, I am
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: not rooting against Joe Biden right now. I want America
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: and American citizens to be safely removed from Afghanistan. I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: don't want them to fail. I want them to succeed.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I've said this for years, even Whenough Obama was president.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I want their foreign policy to protect Americans, defend Americans,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: and I want us to succeed. I don't want Americans
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: to be left behind. So I can say, aha, see,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I told you Joe Biden sucked. We already know how
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: bad of a president is. He's a guy that's just disappeared.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: He clearly can't handle the capacity of what it takes
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: to be the president of United States of America. The
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: proof of his last five days. He's just abandoned his people.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: He's abandoned the country. I remember the debate we had
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: about who's gonna take the phone call at three am
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: with Hillary Clinton? Hell, who's taking the phone call at
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: three pm? The White House is confirmed he's talked to
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: no foreign leaders. The White House is confirmed, he's been
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: on vacation. The White House confirmed he has not talked
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: to virtually Anybody's basically said, I don't know what to
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: do with this. I'm right, but you guys figured out.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: And the White House Press secretary was asked by a reporter, Hey,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: are Americans even gonna make it out of Afghanistan? Because
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you guys are acting like their lives don't matter. Take
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: a listen to her response. You mentioned at the top
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: that about seven hundred people are being evacuated the past
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: twenty four hours. Technicon officials, including US everybody John Kirby
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: expect that number to increase ye five to nine thousand
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: a day. Can you talk about what needs to happen
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: between now and then to ramp the number up? And
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: when you expected to hear? Sure, we shod It's a
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: good question. I think what I had been referring to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: just a few minutes ago. Was the fact that our
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: focus has been on securing not just the perimeter of
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: the airport, but also operational capacity at the airport, which
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: of course is a Department of Defense operation they're overseeing
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: in coordination with the State Department. And so because we've
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: had success in that regard, we are hopeful and expect
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: to expedite additional flights out. So that was not the
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: place where we were at this time yesterday, and given
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: we've made progress in their regard, we are hopeful to
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: increase the number of people American citizens, SIV applicants and
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: others that we can get out of country. Are understanding
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: that Americans have been called or but it's up to
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: that to travel there at their own risk, their own risk.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You hear this right, Think about what this reporter just said. Hey,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you're you're telling Americans to go to the airport. You've
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: called them the airport, but you're telling them to go
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: basically have to fight their way through the Taliban who
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: is beheading people at their own risk. Why isn't the
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: US providing any support, any transportation for them to get
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to Cockle Well, I would just go back to what
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: our National Security advisor discussed as it relates to the
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Taliban and discussions with them about safe passage for people
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: who are coming to the airport. We've also seen I
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: don't have an exact number for you. I'm sure the
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Department of Defense and State Department can provide that, but
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: a large number of American citizens and others making their
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: way successfully to the airport over the course of the
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: last twenty four hours. By the way, I love this
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: so like, well, we had a couple people that made it, like,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: you know, a couple hundred. Really, that's so the other
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: twenty thirty thousand, what about them? In the last twenty
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: four hours. We also know that the Taliban has been
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: shooting people around the airport while America is basically held
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: hostage with inside of it. Our troops are only correcting
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: the interior. They are not the exterior, and we have
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: no roads under our control. All the roads leading to
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: the airport from the entire country, which is the size
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: of what Texas. The entire country, every road that leads
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: to the one airport in that country, we're saying go
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to if you're an American citizen is locked down by
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: the Taliban. Now, let me go back to Trump for
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: just a second, because we've just got new reports coming
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: out of Cobble now that the Taliban is searching people's
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: cell phones and they're killing you if on your cell
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: phone they find the Bible. Many people in Afghanistan downloaded
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: on their phones the Bible app or Bible apps, and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: they're grabbing those phones. And if they find the Bible
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: app on your phone, the Taliban is killing those people,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: is what we were being told right now. Now that
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: could be an American citizen too. What would Donald Trump
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: have done differently if the Taliban started doing this when
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: he was president. He was asked that by Sean Hannity
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: and listened to his response. Let me go back to
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: the words you used to the Taliban leader, because we
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: knew last week that sixty percent of the country had
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: already been taken over by the Taliban, and there was
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: no sense of urgency to me under your plan. If
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: they had taken over five percent, not sixty like they
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: had last five percent, that was not in your agreement.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: What would have happened to them? We would have hit
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: them very hard. Again, The words are conditions, plural conditions based.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: It was an agreement where actually we wanted to get
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: out by May first, and they violated the agreement. So
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: it's a great agreement from a lot of different standpoints.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: And frankly, Biden didn't have to even go by that agreement.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: He could have done. Look what he's done to the border.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: We had the greatest border, southern border, in the history
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: of our country. We stopped drugs, we stopped human trafficking,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: we stopped people from coming in, prisoners from coming in.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: Now you'll have I mean, you have the worst people
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: in the world. They're emptying their jails into our country.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: This is like the southern border, but it's handled even worse.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Nobody handled the Southern border worse than him. We had
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the most secure border we've ever had. Now we have
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: by far the worst border we've ever had. Well, Afghanistan
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: is the exact same thing. To think of this. We
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: have a military. It's holding it. You know. I got
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: to reduce down to two thousand and five hundred soldiers
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: and they were doing a good job. It was fine.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: It was a smaller force. I took it down from
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: close to twenty to two thousand and five hundred and
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: we were fine. But we have the military there, and
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: we take the military out before we took our civilians out,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: and before we took the interpreters and other We want
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to try and help. But by the way, I'm America first. Okay,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: the Americans come out first, but we're also going to
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: help people that helped us. And we have to be
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: very careful with the vetting because you have some rough
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: people in there. But we're going to help those people.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: But can you imagine now what we were going to do,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: just very quickly, is we were going to take the
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: military out last. Okay last, the people were coming out.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: They were going to come out, but the agreement was violated,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: so I held things back because we weren't going to
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: do anything conditions based, so they weren't fulfill their obligations
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: and condition But here's just a finish. The people come
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: out first. Then I was going to take all of
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: the military equipment. We have billions and billions of dollars
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: worth of new Blackhawk helicopters, brand new that Russia now
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: will be examining, and so will China and so will
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: everybody else to figure because it's the greatest in the world.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: We have brand new army tanks and all sorts of equipment, missiles,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: we have everything. I was going to take it out
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: because I knew they weren't going to fight. Just one thing.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: And I have to say, and this is different from
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: everyone else. I said, why are they fighting? Why are
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: these Afghan soldiers fighting against the Taliban? And I was
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: told some very bad information by a lot of different people.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: The fact is they're among the highest paid soldiers in
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: the world. They were doing it for paycheck because once
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: we stopped, once we left, they stopped fighting. So all
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: of the people to talk about the bravery and everything,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: I say, everybody's brave, But the fact is our country
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: was paying the Afghan soldiers a fortune, so we were
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: sort of bribing them to fight. And that's not what
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: it's all about. It's a great thing that we're getting out.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: But nobody has ever handled a withdrawal worse than Joe Biden.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: This is the greatest embarrassment, I believe, in the history
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: of our country. So when you hear the media say, oh, well, really,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: this is Trump's fault, Donald Trump's policy was completely different
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: than Joe Biden's. Donald Trump would have never allowed this
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: to happen. And Donald Trump would have made sure that
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Americans were not left behind. Donald Trump would have made
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: sure that if the Taliban screwed would just one American,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: it would have been game over. Donald Trump would have
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: made sure that Americans were not harmed the way that
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: they were not screwed with when he was the President
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: of the United States of America. That is a fact.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: His policy was not get out by an arbitrary date either.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: He moved that date. When things change, you change, you adapt.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: But now the Taliban controls the whole country, and ten
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: to twenty thousand, maybe even more, Americans lives are at risk.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: They're on kill lists, and people were being drugged from
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: their homes, beheaded and murdered, and people who have the
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Bible app on their phone are being drug out into
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: the streets and killed. And there is in a single
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: road you can get to the airport that isn't controlled
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: by the Taliban with checkpoints to kill you. And the
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: US government of Joe Biden is doing not a damned
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: thing to save these American lives. He is unfit to
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: be commander in chief. Make sure, as I've said before,
