- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join jo. You gotta use turn hur you gotta

- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your tha h I shall well a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good manded everybody you're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. You know this week, I've just been on it,
- 2:13Speaker 1: so today is no different. I'm telling you, I've just
- 2:17Speaker 1: reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to share the principles of success.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm more determined to help and guide and teach as
- 2:29Speaker 1: many people as I can the things that I've learned.
- 2:32Speaker 1: And I mean, man, I've been through it. I have
- 2:34Speaker 1: really been through it. I kid you not. You know.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I used to say, Okay, God, you know, why is
- 2:39Speaker 1: all this happening to me? But as I've gotten older,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I understand that was the ingredients. I needed the ingredients
- 2:47Speaker 1: to beat this cake. I needed all those ingredients stirred up.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I need all of that different flavors, the stuff that
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't think tastes so good. All that stuff had
- 2:57Speaker 1: to come into the bowl in order for me to
- 2:59Speaker 1: get it to where I am today. As much as
- 3:02Speaker 1: I did not like the taste of the ingredients, little
- 3:07Speaker 1: did I know God was making this cake, not me.
- 3:10Speaker 1: But what he did was and you've heard you the
- 3:13Speaker 1: old saying God could turn lemons into lemonade, Well that's
- 3:18Speaker 1: what he was doing now. At the time, it all
- 3:22Speaker 1: had a little funky lemonade lemony flavor to it, with
- 3:27Speaker 1: some other stuff in it too. I didn't care for it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But little did I know that I needed everything that
- 3:33Speaker 1: happened to me to happen to me in the exact
- 3:35Speaker 1: order that had happened, in the exact array of things
- 3:39Speaker 1: that happened, for me to have a knowledge I have today,
- 3:42Speaker 1: the experience, the attitude, so I could turn around and
- 3:48Speaker 1: share that information. Okay, got that out the way. This
- 3:52Speaker 1: is what I want to give to you today. I
- 3:55Speaker 1: want you to understand something that discipline determines your debt destiny,
- 4:01Speaker 1: not your desire. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You've heard me say this how many times on the
- 4:10Speaker 1: show Okay, here we go against it. I got it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Faith without works, it's dead. But let me tell you something.
- 4:18Speaker 1: To be a hard worker, you got to be disciplined.
- 4:21Speaker 1: That's one of the hardest lessons I'm trying to get
- 4:23Speaker 1: through to my sons. You've gonna throw yourself down a
- 4:27Speaker 1: cliff if you're not a young man or a man
- 4:30Speaker 1: that possesses discipline. Because they got something for undisciplined people.
- 4:35Speaker 1: They got some street laws for undisciplined people, and they
- 4:39Speaker 1: got some federal laws and state laws for undisciplined people.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's why them signs is outside on the freeway, we're
- 4:46Speaker 1: gonna let you go fast. But seventy is the limit.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Seventy fast enough. Really, if you're disciplined enough of a
- 4:54Speaker 1: person to leave your house at the time you're supposed
- 4:57Speaker 1: to leave your house, seventy miles per hour is absolutely enough.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But if you're an undisciplined person, if you don't have
- 5:04Speaker 1: the wherewithal to leave your house on time, to get
- 5:08Speaker 1: ready to go where you want to go, see the
- 5:11Speaker 1: desires where you want to go, the discipline is how
- 5:14Speaker 1: you get there. You understand you can want to go
- 5:18Speaker 1: to see your family in California, all you want, But
- 5:21Speaker 1: the flight leaves at one to eighteen. You leave your
- 5:26Speaker 1: house at twelve or thirty. They told you you must
- 5:29Speaker 1: check in one hour before your flight. Now, if you
- 5:33Speaker 1: ain't got the discipline to get to the airport to
- 5:36Speaker 1: check in one hour before your flight, leaving your house
- 5:39Speaker 1: forty five minutes before the flight departs, what you think
- 5:42Speaker 1: gonna happen? Your desire to go see your family in
- 5:47Speaker 1: la is going to be thwarted because you lack the
- 5:51Speaker 1: discipline to prepare yourself and get yourself ready to do
- 5:55Speaker 1: the things that you have to do to make your
- 5:57Speaker 1: desires come true. I'm telling you, discipline determines your destiny,
- 6:02Speaker 1: not your desire. You can write down a list of
- 6:05Speaker 1: stuff you want to do all day, but if you
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't produce and show the discipline necessary to get there,
- 6:11Speaker 1: what you think gonna happen? Huh? Okay? I want to
- 6:17Speaker 1: be rich, Okay, I want to make four hundred thousand
- 6:21Speaker 1: a year. Okay, I want to be the best player
- 6:25Speaker 1: that there is. Okay, but you don't want to practice.
- 6:29Speaker 1: See the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at
- 6:32Speaker 1: practice the shooting jumpers when everybody gone home. That's the
- 6:35Speaker 1: guy that's gonna be the best, the guy that's never
- 6:38Speaker 1: late for practice, the guy to study the playbook. That's
- 6:41Speaker 1: the guy that's gonna make it, not the guy that's
- 6:44Speaker 1: talking crack I stalking that smack. I'm gonna make the
- 6:47Speaker 1: Pro Bowl, I'm gonna make the All Star Team. I'm
- 6:49Speaker 1: gonna be All American. That's just what you're saying. But
- 6:53Speaker 1: discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. So now let's
- 6:58Speaker 1: talk about this discipline. What is that, really, Steve. That's
- 7:01Speaker 1: your work ethic, that's your hunger, that's your will. Discipline
- 7:07Speaker 1: is how hard you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and
- 7:14Speaker 1: the traits to be what you want to be. Did
- 7:17Speaker 1: you hear me? It is your willingness to conduct yourself
- 7:22Speaker 1: in a manner that is above and beyond what they
- 7:26Speaker 1: say is necessary. Now, this is a good example right here. Now.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You can want to be in the NFL all you want,
- 7:34Speaker 1: but they got this thing called the NFL Combines where
- 7:37Speaker 1: they bring in some of the top players at every
- 7:40Speaker 1: position to come in and they're gonna run a forty
- 7:42Speaker 1: yard dash, they're gonna do a standing broad jump, they're
- 7:47Speaker 1: gonna do a standing vertical leap. They're gonna do drills,
- 7:53Speaker 1: running drills, cutting drills. They can determine if a linebacker
- 7:57Speaker 1: got stiff hips by making them back pedal, point him
- 8:00Speaker 1: in one direction and throw the football in another direction.
- 8:03Speaker 1: How does he turn his body? Now you can say
- 8:06Speaker 1: you can tell everybody at your college you want to
- 8:08Speaker 1: play pro football. You tell everybody at your high school.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You tell them in Peewee you want to play pro football.
- 8:13Speaker 1: But they got tests for you though. It's called the combines.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Now you get out here and you have a bad
- 8:18Speaker 1: combine day, Ain't nobody trying to hear that. Let me
- 8:21Speaker 1: tell you how excuses don't work with people when they're
- 8:24Speaker 1: just trying to get when they're trying to win in
- 8:26Speaker 1: the NFL. The fact that you had a bad day
- 8:29Speaker 1: at the combine and you don't run your best forties
- 8:32Speaker 1: and you just keep telling them you could do better,
- 8:34Speaker 1: they don't want to hear that. Because see, what ain't
- 8:36Speaker 1: nobody gonna pay you for is to play on Sunday.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And that's one of your bad days. We're paying you
- 8:43Speaker 1: to play on Sundays. But because you keep having these
- 8:46Speaker 1: bad days, because you ain't discipline enough to put in
- 8:50Speaker 1: the work to make sure that your maximum can be
- 8:53Speaker 1: called upon at any time. Now you have to combine
- 8:56Speaker 1: with some slow times that go on your record. You
- 8:59Speaker 1: have to comebine. You don't jump as high as you
- 9:01Speaker 1: did when you was at the gym class. Well, hold up, man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: this is show day now in the NFL, Sunday is
- 9:08Speaker 1: show day. What they can't run the risk of is
- 9:11Speaker 1: paying you your money. And your bad day happened to
- 9:13Speaker 1: be on Sundays after we didn't cut your check. No, no, no,
- 9:17Speaker 1: We're looking for people who limit them bad days, who
- 9:20Speaker 1: got the discipline to work hard, to make an effort
- 9:23Speaker 1: for you. Understand what I'm saying to your folks. Please
- 9:26Speaker 1: understand this. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. If
- 9:32Speaker 1: you can want it all you want, But if you
- 9:35Speaker 1: ain't working, if you ain't grinding, if you ain't hurting,
- 9:39Speaker 1: if you ain't sweating real bad, if you always somewhere,
- 9:43Speaker 1: got to chill, you got to have a cold one,
- 9:46Speaker 1: you got to smoke one, You gotta do all them. Things.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Can't tell you something you ain't gonna make it. Discipline
- 9:54Speaker 1: determines your destiny, not your desire. You're listening Morning Show
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, It's upon us again, another great blessing
- 10:07Speaker 1: from God Almighty, a new day, another chance, another opportunity
- 10:12Speaker 1: to get it right, to make some corrections, to advance,
- 10:15Speaker 1: to deal with it. But in all of this that
- 10:18Speaker 1: you are facing, if you face it with gratitude, with
- 10:22Speaker 1: the understanding that this too shall pass, and be grateful
- 10:25Speaker 1: for the dog moments as well as the bright moments,
- 10:28Speaker 1: you don't understand what he'll do for you when you
- 10:31Speaker 1: open up the gratitude window. He paused stuff in it
- 10:35Speaker 1: to be more grateful for. That's how it worked. I'm
- 10:39Speaker 1: grateful this morning. Why don't you join in with us
- 10:41Speaker 1: on The Steve Harvey Morton Show. Charley Strawberry, Colin Farrell,
- 10:44Speaker 1: Mississippi Monica, Junior Kills Spade Legend, Nephew Tommy, and yours
- 10:48Speaker 1: truly Junior. Yes, sir, what is it today? Yeah, I'll
- 10:53Speaker 1: tell you what it is. Today's especially day to day. Uh,
- 10:57Speaker 1: nephew Tommy birthday day? Yeah, listen by when did you
- 11:05Speaker 1: realize that it was he was gonna be stupid? By?
- 11:09Speaker 1: What age was it? What did you see? What did
- 11:11Speaker 1: you know? Well? And are you proud? It kicked in
- 11:16Speaker 1: with me somewhere around when he was five or six.
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's when I first noticing that there was no advancement
- 11:23Speaker 1: in mental capacity, you know, on his birthday. I always knew,
- 11:31Speaker 1: Now this is Donna's truth. Now, I always knew he
- 11:33Speaker 1: was gonna be different. I always knew it was somebody
- 11:37Speaker 1: because he was always acting and pretending. So I kind
- 11:41Speaker 1: of saw this actor in him at a young age.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I said, it's something about him. Yeah. But once again,
- 11:50Speaker 1: by the grace of God. You know, he protects babies
- 11:54Speaker 1: and fools, and he protected him as a baby and
- 12:00Speaker 1: now as a food. Caused the number of people that
- 12:03Speaker 1: wants to hop him for them pranks. U can't. You
- 12:06Speaker 1: ain't number God protecting him, that's all it is. And
- 12:09Speaker 1: so his talent did rise above his stupidity. Yeah, and
- 12:15Speaker 1: all of his well you know, no pun intended, but
- 12:18Speaker 1: all of his shot commings and you know old you know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: he did get tall, Yeah, he did. He did get
- 12:28Speaker 1: taller than most people. I had thought he was gonna
- 12:31Speaker 1: be Manuel web still Gary Coleman, but he outgrew to him. Oh,
- 12:37Speaker 1: he taller than him. Knowing so that kind of threw
- 12:40Speaker 1: us off a little bit. So we couldn't he couldn't
- 12:42Speaker 1: read for little people parts, so we had to put
- 12:45Speaker 1: him into adult theater with the rest of the kid
- 12:47Speaker 1: We kept in child theater until he was about twenty.
- 12:52Speaker 1: He was just he was just out after all the
- 12:54Speaker 1: damn kids. They were talking a man, this little boy's brilliant.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Well twenty oh you know what I'm saying, and he
- 13:00Speaker 1: just helped you. He was out acting all the damn
- 13:03Speaker 1: kids and he was just amazing. And with Kevin in
- 13:06Speaker 1: baby theater. Tell you was about twenty and then all
- 13:08Speaker 1: messed around and start getting facial hair. We had to
- 13:11Speaker 1: put him out of that, put him in a dulk theater,
- 13:15Speaker 1: and Neil us when opportunists for Broadway came up, movies
- 13:18Speaker 1: and such a yeah, you know, they wanted him on Broadway. Man,
- 13:23Speaker 1: he's TV starring all is here, three TV shows and everything.
- 13:27Speaker 1: So that's when you really have birthday, nephew, Thomas, can't
- 13:30Speaker 1: wait for my birthday. After that, the taddown is real,
- 13:37Speaker 1: all right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the
- 13:39Speaker 1: hour of the birthday boy to run that prank back
- 13:42Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show, all right, it
- 13:47Speaker 1: is time now for the birthday boy. That's what we're
- 13:49Speaker 1: calling you all morning? The birthday boy, nephew, Tommy, it's
- 13:53Speaker 1: time for you to run that prank back. What you
- 13:55Speaker 1: got for us? Nep what's on the birthday? Men? You
- 13:57Speaker 1: you ain't graduate. Want me to be a little more proper.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You're not a graduating cat dog. If you would, let's
- 14:04Speaker 1: running back. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a travad
- 14:09Speaker 1: place this himble of this U. This is my name
- 14:13Speaker 1: is Joseph work over in student affairs. How are you
- 14:15Speaker 1: doing today? I'm good? How are you? I'm good? Listen,
- 14:19Speaker 1: you're supposed to be um. This is your fifth year
- 14:23Speaker 1: here at the university. You're graduating and in the next
- 14:27Speaker 1: seven eight days? Am I right? Yes? There at this
- 14:30Speaker 1: joint Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call. We got
- 14:33Speaker 1: a bit of a problem here that we want to
- 14:36Speaker 1: try and discuss with you, and maybe we can get
- 14:38Speaker 1: you over at student affairs and come in and have
- 14:40Speaker 1: a meeting with us. But we wanted to bring it
- 14:42Speaker 1: to your attention now. You took a one of your
- 14:45Speaker 1: last subjects was English, uh, and you had an English
- 14:49Speaker 1: exam with a You guys are writing an essay? Am
- 14:53Speaker 1: I am? I am? I correct? About that. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:56Speaker 1: that's true. Okay, see that we got some problems here
- 14:59Speaker 1: that the professor there is actually a SINGU meeting that
- 15:02Speaker 1: you may have cheated on this, on this essay that
- 15:05Speaker 1: you've actually written cheated. No, I mean from from what
- 15:10Speaker 1: he's telling us here at Student Affairs is that you
- 15:13Speaker 1: may have plagiarized some things that that we're in your essay. Dude, No,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't plagiarize nothing that was in the essay.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Everything is documented like it should be. So I don't
- 15:23Speaker 1: know what you're talking about, officially cheating on no exam
- 15:26Speaker 1: or no paper, nothing like that. You know what's got
- 15:27Speaker 1: me mixed up with somebody else? No, No, no, not
- 15:30Speaker 1: at all. You're actually mister Travan, correct. I mean that's me.
- 15:33Speaker 1: But I didn't cheat on no exam. But that matter. Okay, Well,
- 15:37Speaker 1: let me let me try to bring you up to
- 15:38Speaker 1: speed here at Travan. What we're gonna need is we're
- 15:40Speaker 1: gonna need you to actually come in and talk to
- 15:43Speaker 1: us over here at Student Affairs so we can try
- 15:45Speaker 1: to get this thing rectified. But I will let you
- 15:48Speaker 1: know it's gonna take a few more days longer than graduation.
- 15:52Speaker 1: So as of right now, you're actually not gonna be
- 15:55Speaker 1: walking uh and graduating with the rest of the students. Man, man,
- 16:00Speaker 1: do you got me messed up? What's what you mean?
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be walking well until we get this
- 16:04Speaker 1: situation rectified here. You're not gonna be graduating with the
- 16:08Speaker 1: rest of the students now, dot. I don't know what
- 16:10Speaker 1: y'all gotta do, but y'all need to figure it out
- 16:12Speaker 1: or find out what the problem. Man. I ain't cheat
- 16:14Speaker 1: on know exam then you're talking about Dude, my family
- 16:16Speaker 1: is coming down here, and you're talking about cheating on
- 16:18Speaker 1: an English exam. They look like cheating on an example.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And I'm getting ready to graduate. Man, Now, y'all need
- 16:23Speaker 1: to fix it, like right now, like today while we're
- 16:25Speaker 1: on the phone. We can't do that. It's a little
- 16:28Speaker 1: it's a sensitive subject, and like I said, it seems
- 16:30Speaker 1: like it's plagiarism. I mean, you know, if we can
- 16:32Speaker 1: get you to actually come over the student affairs next wednesday. Man, Man,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you got me what you mean next Wednesday? Dude, I'm
- 16:40Speaker 1: graduating in a few days. Since you talk about next wednesday, Man,
- 16:43Speaker 1: why don't my professor didn't give me a call. Why
- 16:45Speaker 1: are you calling me, sir? This is not something that
- 16:48Speaker 1: professors actually take care of. This is a student affair
- 16:51Speaker 1: situation now, and it's a very sensitive situation. And what
- 16:54Speaker 1: we want to do is try to get this thing
- 16:55Speaker 1: taken care of. And if you if what you're saying
- 16:58Speaker 1: is actually true, then and you're probably graduating. Man, Man,
- 17:03Speaker 1: where you got me? I'm telling you writing that this
- 17:05Speaker 1: is some you got me, August. I'm graduating. This to mess.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I didn't me here too long to go through some
- 17:12Speaker 1: my last few weeks of school. And you talk about August,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I ain't even time to hear right here. You don't
- 17:18Speaker 1: even say, man, you didn't even time to hear what
- 17:20Speaker 1: you got to say. Man, my family is coming down
- 17:22Speaker 1: here from everywhere to see me graduate. Man, I'm the
- 17:24Speaker 1: first fair to graduate from my family. He's talking about something.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Tell about my tea on the paper, A paper, a paper.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Can you come here, man, I'm gonna work two and
- 17:34Speaker 1: three jobs to see me through this school and now
- 17:36Speaker 1: I'm coming getting rid of to graduate, and you're talking
- 17:38Speaker 1: about how to wait until August to graduate. Man. Hell,
- 17:41Speaker 1: now I'm on my way to the office right now,
- 17:44Speaker 1: and you can tell wherever the professor is that I'm
- 17:46Speaker 1: on my way and he needs to be there too, Sir,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I can really tell you that we can try and
- 17:50Speaker 1: get this thing rectified in the earlier The next wednes like, Man,
- 17:53Speaker 1: what's your name again? And where where's your office? I'm
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm Joe. Okay, okay, okay, okay. So I'm about to
- 17:59Speaker 1: get in my car right now and I'm about to
- 18:01Speaker 1: come over there and we're gonna handle it today. And
- 18:03Speaker 1: how are you singing to me cheating on the exam paper? Man?
- 18:07Speaker 1: Is that so honest? Thing? Is the professor that there's
- 18:11Speaker 1: a possibility of blagiarism here? Man? Are you kidding me?
- 18:14Speaker 1: Do I've been in five years? I'm the first man
- 18:18Speaker 1: to graduate from Carmors. Man, my grandmo is eighty two?
- 18:21Speaker 1: He is, all, is she coming in and see me graduate?
- 18:24Speaker 1: And you're telling me about teen on the paper? And
- 18:27Speaker 1: I got away till all get a graduates. Man, make
- 18:30Speaker 1: you tell the professor to come to your office right now,
- 18:33Speaker 1: because I'm already in my car on my way to
- 18:35Speaker 1: come to your office. And we're gonna handle this today,
- 18:38Speaker 1: said man about me. I don't have any more room
- 18:41Speaker 1: or my schedule to actually pull anybody in today or
- 18:45Speaker 1: you're gonna call me with like this something you ain't
- 18:48Speaker 1: got room in your schedule. Man, Hell now that miss missile,
- 18:51Speaker 1: whatever your name is. I'm all my way to your
- 18:53Speaker 1: office home and I'll tell you. I'm gonna tell you,
- 18:56Speaker 1: and I'm telling you up front it's gonna be a problem.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I ain't graduating in a few days. You got to
- 19:02Speaker 1: deal with me. You got to deal with my family
- 19:04Speaker 1: and my mama. We don't play this, then you gotta, sir,
- 19:08Speaker 1: I understand is there a possibility that maybe you playediarized
- 19:11Speaker 1: and didn't know that you did that? Man? You mean
- 19:14Speaker 1: the paper was officer ahead and new Sir? Can I can? I?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Can I tell you one more thing? And then and
- 19:19Speaker 1: then all that you're not really call me with somebody.

- 20:59Speaker 1: Who can sees you? Kim Ka, Kim Kay's sister Courtney Kay,
- 21:09Speaker 1: and Travis Barker have tied the knot for real. This time,
- 21:13Speaker 1: they're married for real, and we'll discuss m machine gun
- 21:16Speaker 1: Kelly's thirty thousand dollars blinged out manicure. I will talk
- 21:21Speaker 1: about all this at the top of the hour, but
- 21:22Speaker 1: right now it is time to ask the clo Maxie
- 21:30Speaker 1: and Columbus says, I went out with a guy twice.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The first date he wanted to go Dutch. Second date,
- 21:36Speaker 1: he needed a ride. I blocked his number. I saw
- 21:40Speaker 1: him recently driving a range Rover and wearing a tailored suit.
- 21:43Speaker 1: He said, I flunked the test and I am a
- 21:46Speaker 1: gold digger. He assumed wrong, and so did I. How
- 21:50Speaker 1: do I get a third date with him? You don't
- 21:52Speaker 1: need a third date with you don't need a man
- 21:54Speaker 1: testing you. Who the hell he think he is? See
- 21:57Speaker 1: that's the problem with y'all sisters out here. Man, y'all
- 22:00Speaker 1: got y'all think y'all got to prove something to these
- 22:02Speaker 1: men who well, well when do they prove something to you?
- 22:06Speaker 1: Who wants who wants to data man? That wants to
- 22:08Speaker 1: go Dutch? And then who wants to data man? It'll
- 22:10Speaker 1: need a ride? You flunked the test, ain't no test,
- 22:14Speaker 1: just bad ass test. I don't want no broke ass,
- 22:17Speaker 1: no car having ass. Man, Now, what's wrong with me
- 22:20Speaker 1: for wanting that? Man missed me with that there dumb
- 22:23Speaker 1: ass tests. He got this. Okay, Now let me put
- 22:26Speaker 1: your own game. When you see a dude doing that,
- 22:29Speaker 1: he's setting you up so he can get what he
- 22:31Speaker 1: want without giving you nothing. That's the setup. That's the
- 22:36Speaker 1: game he owned. So now if I get you using
- 22:38Speaker 1: the word gold digger and that, then I get to
- 22:41Speaker 1: get what I want from you without paying for nothing.
- 22:44Speaker 1: See that's how that worked, man, because he know you
- 22:46Speaker 1: got a gold mine that he won't but he wants

- 23:24Speaker 1: My husband is evil and said he prefers to go
- 23:27Speaker 1: to a real bar, not the basement. How can he
- 23:30Speaker 1: be so unappreciative? Does he want time away from me? Yeah? Okay,
- 23:36Speaker 1: well yeah that's what it sounds like to me. So
- 23:41Speaker 1: I take all that mess out of that room turning

- 24:06Speaker 1: Lewis's third wife doesn't like me, and he brought her
- 24:09Speaker 1: to my house with him Sunday. I stayed in my
- 24:11Speaker 1: bedroom the whole time. My husband said, I'm rude. Isn't
- 24:15Speaker 1: this my house and my choice? Yeah? See, I don't
- 24:19Speaker 1: know the backstory between the third wife not liking you.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't know what that is. You know that was

- 24:36Speaker 1: and a woman don't like her. But you're sitting up
- 24:37Speaker 1: in her house that ain't had his work, man, So
- 24:41Speaker 1: you're gonna have to quit, you know. Lewis gonna have
- 24:43Speaker 1: to make better choices or something or Lewis gonna have
- 24:46Speaker 1: to leave this health at the house. Next time. You
- 24:48Speaker 1: could be friends with Lewis, but this heath can't come
- 24:50Speaker 1: over here no more. I'm surprised you stayed in the back. Yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 1: I mean well, I've been saying out that her as

- 26:29Speaker 1: call her, but it didn't work. I feel terrible because

- 31:27Speaker 1: affectionately known as Cravis. Now Cravis, get used to it.
- 31:33Speaker 1: You take the k from Courtney, combine it with Travis

- 31:39Speaker 1: in a classic black Lowrider convertible with they just Married
- 31:43Speaker 1: sign on it. They are officially married after fooling everyone

- 31:50Speaker 1: Cravis is off starting there, I Jess would like to
- 31:54Speaker 1: say they didn't fool me with it because I didn't

- 32:04Speaker 1: Scott Disney coordinate and the father of her children. Yeah.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Where Buddy and br right though? Yeah? And now this
- 32:20Speaker 1: is newsworthy. Rock star Machine Gun Kelly performed at the
- 32:23Speaker 1: Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. He had a blinged out
- 32:27Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars manicure. Now I love manicures, but I've
- 32:30Speaker 1: never had a thirty thousand dollars manicure. Nails of La
- 32:34Speaker 1: collaborated with Merrill Fine Jewelry to create all ten nails.
- 32:39Speaker 1: They featured eight hundred and eighty diamonds weighing a total
- 32:42Speaker 1: of eleven point four carrots, and the set took over
- 32:45Speaker 1: ten hours to make. They were applied to Machine Gun
- 32:48Speaker 1: Kelly's hands before he hit the red carpet with his wife,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Megan Fox. So I gotta ask Carl, you know we
- 32:55Speaker 1: love seven hours and ten hours? Yeah, it took ten hours.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Eleven point four carrots. Man, my man in PITTI sevennit
- 33:03Speaker 1: dollars mine my man. But these are diamonds. These are
- 33:09Speaker 1: diamonds on each of your nails. I ain't got no
- 33:12Speaker 1: leving hours. I don't give a damn what they're doing.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I don't wish I'll sitting on what I'm like doing
- 33:16Speaker 1: my hands for a little damn ten hours. Man, I
- 33:18Speaker 1: don't got a little time for I don't even like
- 33:20Speaker 1: the long as it takes getting my man a kid done.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Maybe wanted to do the hand massage. I don't need
- 33:25Speaker 1: all that. I don't need the little knuckle massage and
- 33:28Speaker 1: all of my arm Hey, hey, hey, do my fingers
- 33:31Speaker 1: and let's go all this salt on my arms and
- 33:37Speaker 1: stuff rubbing my fingers. Fine, yeah, I got stuff to do,
- 33:45Speaker 1: so you in the hurry. I ain't got time for
- 33:48Speaker 1: this here, man. But she wants your hands and your
- 33:51Speaker 1: nails to look nice. But what the massage got to do?
- 33:54Speaker 1: I don't don't massage my feet. I don't like that apart.
- 33:59Speaker 1: They don't like being separated. My toes touched at all time.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Now we're pulling one off to the side, tending to it.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Don't do that. They're just stretching him out. They just stretching.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I told you, I told about the monica. Got this
- 34:16Speaker 1: lady to do my manicure. Pedicure in Chicago. I swear
- 34:21Speaker 1: to God, man, this woman I was hyperventilating. I couldn't
- 34:24Speaker 1: even get full deep breaths. She grabbed my big toe
- 34:28Speaker 1: in her fist and was filing it. She had my
- 34:32Speaker 1: big toe inside of her fist. What is she doing?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Never been that far away from his friends. He was panicking.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I was panicking. Even the baby toe said something. Damn, man,
- 34:50Speaker 1: where you going? Tell you? What's something? Man? Didn't hurt
- 35:00Speaker 1: her anything. It didn't hurt that. Have you ever had
- 35:05Speaker 1: somebody had your big toe inside day whole fist? No? No,
- 35:12Speaker 1: And she wasn't a little woman either. That was the
- 35:14Speaker 1: other thing. It was the strength she had, strap grass,
- 35:17Speaker 1: stress size on her hand. Head looked like my hand
- 35:20Speaker 1: haird to was meet on your hand and filing hard
- 35:30Speaker 1: with then with the machine or the file. Okay, huh.
- 35:38Speaker 1: You didn't hurt the next day, dog, I couldn't you
- 35:40Speaker 1: get my shoe on? All right? Thanks for that story, Steve.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after, we'll have more of
- 35:49Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this you're listening show.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The Buffalo shooter, eighteen year old Peyton Gendren, has been
- 35:58Speaker 1: charged with first murder and he pleaded not guilty, even
- 36:03Speaker 1: though he live streamed his attack on Twitch and even
- 36:06Speaker 1: posted a document which has since been removed, expressing his
- 36:11Speaker 1: belief in replacement theory. Now, replacement theory is this racist
- 36:15Speaker 1: belief now that Blacks, Jews, immigrants, and people of color
- 36:18Speaker 1: are plotting to eliminate native born whites from the US.
- 36:22Speaker 1: According to FBI data, blacks are the most likely targets
- 36:26Speaker 1: of racist hate crimes in America. Twenty twenty had the
- 36:30Speaker 1: largest increase in hate crimes since two thousand and eight,
- 36:33Speaker 1: with over fifteen thousand reported incidents, despite this being the
- 36:37Speaker 1: year of the largest social justice movements in American history.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Imagine that they're talking a lot about that on Fox Right,
- 36:45Speaker 1: Tucker Carlson and people like that, about this replacement theory.
- 36:49Speaker 1: I just got one question, the statement about the native
- 36:53Speaker 1: born whites na born where come on? Come on, somebody,
- 36:58Speaker 1: come on by the schoolbook they taught me out of.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I didn't swotter Mayflower came from somewhere. Yeah, you know, man,
- 37:06Speaker 1: when you were you know your correct journey. But when
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know, when you're a hateful person, man, you find
- 37:10Speaker 1: a way to justify your own ignorant ass beliefs. But
- 37:14Speaker 1: it is white supremist belief that because of the color
- 37:18Speaker 1: of their skin that they have a superiority. Mar Luther
- 37:23Speaker 1: King called it the drum major instinct and more. And
- 37:26Speaker 1: people are born with it that they think that they
- 37:29Speaker 1: are first, but white supremacis take it to a whole
- 37:32Speaker 1: another level. And it's just sickening, man. And I don't
- 37:35Speaker 1: see why we don't have laws in place. Man, once
- 37:38Speaker 1: you proclaim that you got to fall into a category,
- 37:40Speaker 1: but first of all, not guilty. What why are we
- 37:44Speaker 1: even dealing with this because I'm telling you, man, in
- 37:47Speaker 1: other countries that ain't high work. Man. Now, let's see
- 37:51Speaker 1: if Tucker Carlson and Fox Boys come to this boys
- 37:55Speaker 1: rescue like they did ritten how because they came to
- 37:58Speaker 1: his rescue, they paid this lead go fees. That just
- 38:02Speaker 1: that's astonishing to me. Yeah, it was seconding to see
- 38:06Speaker 1: it happened, to see it go down. It really was
- 38:09Speaker 1: Trump involved in it, inviting him out already started. I
- 38:15Speaker 1: bet you, oh, you have to help him with his
- 38:18Speaker 1: legal fees and costs and all that. Absolutely absolutely hate
- 38:24Speaker 1: for last people in this world, man, yes, sir, yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 1: And and it sickens me man that everybody. You know,
- 38:33Speaker 1: It's just like, what do you want black people to
- 38:36Speaker 1: feel about all of this? Right? Because if it were
- 38:40Speaker 1: half any of this was happening to you, tell me
- 38:43Speaker 1: what you'd be feeling and doing about it. Well, whatever
- 38:45Speaker 1: it is you want us to do, we tire and
- 38:47Speaker 1: doing it. Yeah, this is America coming up. At thirty
- 38:51Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, Pastor Jamaal Bryant apologizes to
- 38:56Speaker 1: the family of the late Kevin Samuels. We'll get into
- 38:58Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey
- 39:02Speaker 1: Morning Show. Pastor Jamal Bryant issued a public apology via
- 39:07Speaker 1: Instagram to the family of the late Kevin Samuels, who
- 39:11Speaker 1: until his death was a controversial self proclaimed relationship expert
- 39:15Speaker 1: on social media. Samuels passed away on May fifth, after
- 39:19Speaker 1: he was found unresponsive in his home. Well and last
- 39:23Speaker 1: Sunday sermon, Pastor Jamal Bryant of New Birth Missionary Baptist
- 39:27Speaker 1: Church in Atlanta publicly criticized Samuels for having a go
- 39:30Speaker 1: fund Me account set up to pay his funeral expenses.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Take a listen. You are listening to men who have
- 39:38Speaker 1: no authority. How can a man say that you are
- 39:43Speaker 1: of low value f the thirty five. How can a
- 39:48Speaker 1: man say that you do not have the level of
- 39:51Speaker 1: traction of a high powered man when that man has
- 39:56Speaker 1: got to get a go fund me for his funeral?
- 40:00Speaker 1: All right? Uh? Yeah, there's more. There is more, Tommy. Uh.
- 40:10Speaker 1: According to a tweet from TMZ, Kevin Samuel's family says
- 40:14Speaker 1: an impostor is behind the gofundi page that was created
- 40:18Speaker 1: to raise money for mister Samuel's funeral expenses, and even
- 40:22Speaker 1: though they were offered the cash, his family's talking now
- 40:25Speaker 1: they will not accept the money. Well. Shortly thereafter, President
- 40:29Speaker 1: Pastor Bryant issued this apology. Take a listen to this.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Everybody wants to be an adult until it's time to apologize.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I am a full grown adult, and I take full
- 40:42Speaker 1: accountability of everything that I say and everything that I do.
- 40:46Speaker 1: So I wanted to take a moment and apologize to
- 40:49Speaker 1: the Samuel's family. I wanted to apologize to the larger community,
- 40:53Speaker 1: because an apology is only missed up if you match
- 40:58Speaker 1: it with an excuse. Apologies do not come with an excuse. Okay,
- 41:06Speaker 1: so he said what he said, and he apologized for it.
- 41:09Speaker 1: What do you think, Steve Well you know, look, if
- 41:13Speaker 1: you apologize, you know, we got to ask people accept it.
- 41:16Speaker 1: You know, I think it was he realized it was
- 41:19Speaker 1: a mistake. I'm pretty sure he got major flaking backlash
- 41:23Speaker 1: behind that one, because coming from the poor pit, I
- 41:26Speaker 1: was waiting to hear the message though. You know, look,
- 41:31Speaker 1: I'm not a fire brimstone guy. I grew up in that.
- 41:35Speaker 1: You know. I like the ministry to talk about faith
- 41:38Speaker 1: and living and improving your life and your walk with
- 41:41Speaker 1: God and how to be more faithful and how to
- 41:44Speaker 1: live a better life and how to you know, have
- 41:46Speaker 1: a great life while you here. You know, we all
- 41:50Speaker 1: want to work and make it to heaven, but doing
- 41:53Speaker 1: the process, I would like to know how to have
- 41:55Speaker 1: a better life here. That's a message I'm looking for.
- 41:57Speaker 1: So I think he realized that that pointing that out head. No, no,
- 42:04Speaker 1: no redemptive quality at all. I mean the man is gone,
- 42:11Speaker 1: yeah yeah, and he's still has a family. Yeah here, yeah. Yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Let me say this to y'all. If y'all got something
- 42:17Speaker 1: to say, by me, say it. No now, if y'all
- 42:19Speaker 1: say it out them, did I'm coming back. I'm telling
- 42:21Speaker 1: y'all that right now here, last one of y'all on
- 42:23Speaker 1: this show. If y'all say somebody after I'm gone, I'm
- 42:26Speaker 1: bringing my hands back. Today is your birthday. That's a
- 42:31Speaker 1: that's a great day to tell you. Okay, that's your
- 42:36Speaker 1: gift to us. Wow, that was a lot right there. Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I still don't know what book he was coming from though,
- 42:47Speaker 1: I don't know if the Old Testament New test I mean,
- 42:51Speaker 1: you know, suffice it to say this. We all know
- 42:54Speaker 1: when we've heard of Kevin sam Samuels, who is very controversial.
- 42:58Speaker 1: He's gone. Now rest in peace, you know that's what
- 43:01Speaker 1: I have to say. Rest in peace and family. Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 1: you know he had a family. Yeah he did, he did. Yeah,
- 43:10Speaker 1: we're grieving right now. All right, we'll be back with
- 43:14Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and coming up
- 43:16Speaker 1: the prank phone call with the nephew right after this.
- 43:19Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at
- 43:24Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry letter for today,
- 43:27Speaker 1: and the subject is he hates landscaping. He hates landscaping.
- 43:32Speaker 1: We'll get into that in just a bit, because right
- 43:35Speaker 1: now it is time for the birthday boy and today's
- 43:38Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got for its birthday. Boy, alright, alright, alright,
- 43:43Speaker 1: here it is. You hit my car. You hit my car,
- 43:50Speaker 1: cat dog if you would on this great day of
- 43:54Speaker 1: five eighteen you hit my car. Oh you waste them
- 43:59Speaker 1: right no place. Hello, I'm trying to speak to a dels.
- 44:04Speaker 1: This is she. Do you live in apartment number seven eighth?
- 44:08Speaker 1: That depends on who're asking. My name is Herman Wales.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I live in building three, apartment one on five. Do
- 44:14Speaker 1: you live in an apartment number seventy eight? What you
- 44:17Speaker 1: want with where I live? Look? Man, do you drive
- 44:20Speaker 1: a camera or toyo? The camera? Light blue? One? Yes?
- 44:24Speaker 1: All right, your next dough neighbor then told me that
- 44:28Speaker 1: you ran into my car. I got a being as
- 44:30Speaker 1: a block one of two thousand and five C two
- 44:32Speaker 1: forty Now I got light blue scratches on My neighbor
- 44:37Speaker 1: told you what your neighbor? Matter of fact, his name
- 44:41Speaker 1: is Brian Kendall. To the little across the hall? What
- 44:48Speaker 1: the cross sidem? That little across the hall told you what? Man? Listen,
- 44:53Speaker 1: all I know is he say he lived in apartment eighty.
- 44:56Speaker 1: He lived next dough to you. You live in a
- 44:58Speaker 1: supposedly apartment seventy eight, right here in Cambridge Court apartments. Now,
- 45:02Speaker 1: all I'm saying is he told me your car is,
- 45:05Speaker 1: which is the light blue car hit my back into
- 45:08Speaker 1: my car? And I ain't trying to create no problem,
- 45:10Speaker 1: but somebody got to fix my car and I got
- 45:12Speaker 1: light blue scratches on my binds. Uh. Last I checked
- 45:16Speaker 1: my light blue clamoring wasn't the only light blue camera
- 45:19Speaker 1: they made. Ma'am, you're the only light You're the only
- 45:22Speaker 1: light blue car in the parking lot anyway, the only
- 45:25Speaker 1: light blue car in the parking lot. Right now, I
- 45:28Speaker 1: ain't gonna say I've been the only light blue car
- 45:30Speaker 1: in the damn parking lot. Man, I'm done. Look and
- 45:35Speaker 1: I'm in the middle watching tea. What can I do
- 45:38Speaker 1: for you? What do you mean? What can you do
- 45:40Speaker 1: for mean? You didn't hit my car? I ain't touch
- 45:42Speaker 1: your damn car. If you got some cameras out in
- 45:44Speaker 1: this park lot that saw me hit your car, no,
- 45:47Speaker 1: I don't have no cameras. But the last then I
- 45:49Speaker 1: believe this conversation is over, and I don't give a
- 45:53Speaker 1: damn what's across that man across the hall told you, look,
- 45:57Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You didn't hit my car.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Now you're gonna out? Hold on, hold on, player, Uh
- 46:02Speaker 1: is you yelling at me? I'm not yelling at you?
- 46:05Speaker 1: But you then at my car? You the only touch
- 46:07Speaker 1: your damn the only light blue car in the parking lot,
- 46:11Speaker 1: the only light blue car in the parking lot. Nah.
- 46:14Speaker 1: And as a matter of correct, my cal ain't eat
- 46:16Speaker 1: me in the parking a lot. My sister bar my car,
- 46:18Speaker 1: go to the show. Well, is it possible that your
- 46:20Speaker 1: sister is the one that hit my car? Now? Nah?
- 46:24Speaker 1: What okay? Is your sister when is she coming back?
- 46:27Speaker 1: Maybe shit my car and didn't tell you she hit
- 46:29Speaker 1: my car? Now, she ain't hit your car. She ain't
- 46:31Speaker 1: hit your car because she would have told me she
- 46:33Speaker 1: hit your damn call. Look, uh, I said, ain't nobody
- 46:37Speaker 1: to hit your damn car. My car ain't got no
- 46:39Speaker 1: damn scratches on it. What you ain't gonna being at me? Don't?
- 46:43Speaker 1: You won't give a what kind of scratches you got
- 46:45Speaker 1: on your car? But I can't do a damn thing
- 46:48Speaker 1: about it. And even if you did, let me just
- 46:50Speaker 1: be clear, I ain't got no insurance, no way, so
- 46:53Speaker 1: I can't do nothing for you. Wait a minute, Wait
- 46:56Speaker 1: a minute, let me tell you something you ain't got
- 46:57Speaker 1: to tell me. You ain't got tell me more. Fine,
- 47:00Speaker 1: and as far as I'm concerned, this conversation is over.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Wait a minute, let me ask you call it back. Mister.
- 47:10Speaker 1: You act like I ain't got about you had them
- 47:18Speaker 1: scratches on your car all ready, and you ain't going
- 47:22Speaker 1: to use me as no more an excuse to get
- 47:24Speaker 1: you no new papers. I had no scratches already on
- 47:27Speaker 1: my car. Yeah you had them? Oh yeah, you had
- 47:29Speaker 1: no I'm gonna tell him an insurance and just if
- 47:32Speaker 1: he come over here, nah, because you're gonna be using
- 47:35Speaker 1: your insurance. I now retild you ain't got any don't

- 53:34Speaker 1: Thank you, birthday boys subject. He hates a landscaping. Dear
- 53:39Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I'm not sure if I have a man
- 53:42Speaker 1: or not after I disappointed him recently. When I first
- 53:46Speaker 1: met him, he pursued me for a month. I was
- 53:48Speaker 1: going through a crazy divorce and I didn't need to
- 53:51Speaker 1: complicate my life any further. But I enjoyed his friendship.
- 53:55Speaker 1: We had a long faunt. We had long phone conversations,
- 53:59Speaker 1: or we would sit in his car and talked for hours.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He was patient and understanding, and for the first two
- 54:05Speaker 1: months we only kissed and caressed. I wanted him so badly,
- 54:10Speaker 1: but I was not going to initiate anything, especially since
- 54:14Speaker 1: I assumed he was seeing other people. Well after my
- 54:17Speaker 1: divorce was final. We were on and awful lot, and
- 54:20Speaker 1: he would disappear and then reappear wanting to talk or
- 54:24Speaker 1: hang out. Two weeks ago, he called to say that
- 54:27Speaker 1: he really misses me, and he invited me over. I
- 54:30Speaker 1: went to his place, and one thing led to another,
- 54:33Speaker 1: and he undressed me. I was very caught up in
- 54:36Speaker 1: the moment and forgot that I was totally unprepared for
- 54:41Speaker 1: what was about to happen. I hadn't groomed myself in
- 54:45Speaker 1: many months, so I looked like a wild woman. The
- 54:48Speaker 1: only thing I was shaving at that time was my
- 54:50Speaker 1: under arms. But we were at the point of no
- 54:53Speaker 1: return and he didn't seem to mind. So it happened.
- 54:58Speaker 1: We finally had sex and asked me to be his lady.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I was very pleased with his performance and very pleased
- 55:05Speaker 1: to be his lady. A few nights later, he planned
- 55:08Speaker 1: an intimate evening and I was ready. I had waxed, shaved, dyed,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and laid every hair on my body. After dinner, I
- 55:17Speaker 1: got undressed to get into bed, and he yelled, what
- 55:20Speaker 1: did you do? I was so startled and could not
- 55:23Speaker 1: believe he was yelling because I shaved. He could not
- 55:26Speaker 1: snap out of it. So I got dressed and left.
- 55:30Speaker 1: That Neanderthal has not called me in seven days. Should
- 55:35Speaker 1: I check on him or let him go? Wow, this
- 55:40Speaker 1: is a different kind of a letter. And to answer
- 55:44Speaker 1: your question, I should you check on him or let
- 55:46Speaker 1: him go? It looks like he already let you go,
- 55:48Speaker 1: looks like he already moved on. You haven't heard from
- 55:50Speaker 1: him in a week, So call him for what I mean?
- 55:54Speaker 1: I say, stop worrying about him. It's your body. It's
- 55:57Speaker 1: all a matter of personal preference. The fact that you
- 56:01Speaker 1: have to ask this question from Steve and I is
- 56:03Speaker 1: crazy because if you're staying with this nut, it's whatever
- 56:07Speaker 1: makes you guys happy, not us. No one is wrong
- 56:11Speaker 1: or right here, it's just it is what it is.
- 56:14Speaker 1: If you like shaving and he doesn't, and if you
- 56:16Speaker 1: want to be with the neanderthal as you called him,
- 56:18Speaker 1: this cave man. I won't go into detail, but you've
- 56:22Speaker 1: got to work that out some sort of you know,
- 56:25Speaker 1: grooming situation, some sort of grooming compromise, somebody that makes
- 56:29Speaker 1: you both happy if you're going to stay with him,
- 56:31Speaker 1: which should be determined after you have some sort of conversation,
- 56:35Speaker 1: not just him yelling at you for shaving. Steve and I,
- 56:40Speaker 1: we don't want to be a part of this. Okay,
- 56:43Speaker 1: This is not a deal breaker type situation. It's just
- 56:46Speaker 1: about shaving or not shaving, or waxing whatever. Anyway, he's gone,
- 56:52Speaker 1: So who cares what he thinks? Who breaks up because
- 56:54Speaker 1: their partner shaves? It's your body is shaving is your
- 56:58Speaker 1: comfort zone? Do you? Steve? I wish I would spend
- 57:04Speaker 1: some time on this. Damn, I wish I would try
- 57:08Speaker 1: to rack my brains trying to come up with a
- 57:10Speaker 1: solution for her and him. I could give less than
- 57:14Speaker 1: about anything into this, and I don't even know why.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I mean I could. This is such an unimportant letter
- 57:24Speaker 1: of any significance. This ain't no message to nobody else.
- 57:29Speaker 1: And you know you can't do none of that, you know,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you know, I don't know what to say. You know,
- 57:38Speaker 1: it's just person. I mean, what what do we even care?
- 57:44Speaker 1: You know, I do know if you're dating this man
- 57:47Speaker 1: that likes a lot of hell, all that simply means
- 57:51Speaker 1: you're gonna have less to do. Yeah, gotta do nothing
- 57:54Speaker 1: no more, y'all. You can just keep on shaving your
- 57:56Speaker 1: on the arm pits and just let everything y'all go buck. Wow,
- 58:00Speaker 1: that might be a relief. You know. I don't know
- 58:02Speaker 1: who like all that, but that's on him, you know,
- 58:04Speaker 1: he like, what have you done? Oh? Lord? Well? You know, hang,
- 58:07Speaker 1: I shave. I took care of myself. I got it
- 58:10Speaker 1: like I like it. Now if you don't like it
- 58:12Speaker 1: like that, I don't know what. I don't know what
- 58:14Speaker 1: you need to throw fall I don't really know what
- 58:17Speaker 1: you need that phone, but that ain't you Look, look, man,
- 58:20Speaker 1: I don't care about this letter. And when we come back,
- 58:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna find another way to address this letter without
- 58:26Speaker 1: addressing this letter. Oh, we're gonna do. I'll say what
- 58:30Speaker 1: we're gonna do. We're gonna do a phone call in
- 58:34Speaker 1: to h. I'm gonna have the ladies call into this
- 58:38Speaker 1: man that's got this radio show, call h. I like
- 58:42Speaker 1: haag dot com and I want y'all to call in
- 58:45Speaker 1: and just ask me any other question and all my
- 58:49Speaker 1: answers is gonna have to do it. I like haa
- 58:52Speaker 1: dot com. And it's not that you could ask me
- 58:54Speaker 1: a question about your job, child raising, kindergarten politics. But
- 59:00Speaker 1: you've called into ilighthell dot com radio show. Right after this, y'all,
- 59:06Speaker 1: we'll be hearing from the ilighthell dot com radio show
- 59:10Speaker 1: starring me Harry. Okay, Harry. Subject of today's Strawberry letter
- 59:17Speaker 1: he hates landscaping. We'll be back at twenty three minutes
- 59:19Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:26Speaker 1: it's time for us to uh to recap this letter.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Let's recap it. The subject is he hates landscaping. Well,
- 59:34Speaker 1: this woman at this letter about and then we're gonna

- 59:40Speaker 1: was dating this man and everything was gone wild. And
- 59:42Speaker 1: then they had just been caressing and kissing for months.
- 59:45Speaker 1: And then she went over his house or one day
- 59:48Speaker 1: after he had said he missed up for weeks, and
- 59:50Speaker 1: one thing led to another. But she wasn't prepared and
- 59:53Speaker 1: she had only shaved her under arms. Everything else was unshaven,
- 59:57Speaker 1: and things got out of hand and he didn't seem
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: her mind. And it went well, and he proposed her
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: after that, want her to be his lady, and everything well.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: The next time she came over, she wanted to be prepared,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: so she got shaved everywhere. I had everything laid slick,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: laid to the side and everything. And then when he
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: got into bed, he was hauling at her. What have
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: you done? Oh lord, what where is this word? This

- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Stubbery Letter podcast at on demand. Coming up next it
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: is Sports Talk with Junior. We'll be right back right
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to morning show. It is time
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: now for Junior and Sports Talk. What you got Junior
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Okay shirt? The Eastern Comfort West Finals is was last
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: night Miami and Boston man one eighteen one oh seven.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Miammer took the first game up. Let's let's just go
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: ahead and just say Jimmy Butler, Jimmy getting buckets, got
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: buckets last night. Finished with forty one points. Jason Tatum
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: for Boston finished with twenty nine. This was like a
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: defensive game, and it was It was so crazy because
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Boston came out hot. They came out, they came out
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: strong because you know, a halftime it was sixty two Boston,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Miami fifty four. But by the end of the third
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: when they started third quarter and went on that twenty
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: two to two one. When he ended the third quarter,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: it was Miami ninety three and Boston seventy six. We
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: knew then Jimmy wasn't playing. It's not how you start,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: it's how you finished. It's how you finished. Man to finished.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: And then also it was a block part. In the
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: last twenty blocks in the game, Miami had twelve blocks,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Boston had eight blocks. And then it was the Miami
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: had ten steals and Boston had eight steals. Man it
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: was like a defensive battle. But then as you can
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: see the guy later in the game, Man Jimmy Butler
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: just didn't stop. Man. And I don't know. I think
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Miami might be Mike. Mike could take this one in seven.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I think this could go seven games. I don't know
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: where it's gonna go. I don't I don't really have
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: a dog in this fight. We ain't on the radio
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: in Boston or Miami, so I really ain't got to,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: you know, pretend to care for any call it, you
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: know what I mean. I don't really have to pretend
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: like I care. So I really don't give a damn.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: The Calves ain't in it, and Philly ain't in it,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: and that's who I wanted to be in it was Philly.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I got shocked, you Joel MBI got hurt, so that
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: killed my chance. And you know, Stephen A. Smith is
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: happy to be down in Miami. He were ain't a
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: little bit of little chains outside a little ship. Man,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: I'll be going dogs. If you don't put your chain
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: in your shirt. That chain is not thick enough for display.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: It's not another chaine. Get more than one chain. You
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: got that little ankle bracelet around your neck. Boy, you
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: can't tell my fra brother nothing. Stephen Ay think he
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: just water shop if you and don't pull your chain
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: out your shirt collar. Either open your shirt all the
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: way up and just let us get a glimpse of it,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: but don't hang it out over the button. Is this
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: a fashion segment? Well, it was just what it is
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: because we don't really give a damn about sports in
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Miami all Boston. So yes, it is a fashion segment, Sherley,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and feel free to join us. Something you may know
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: about because your damn show don't know who Jimmy Buttley is.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: That's a show, Colin. Only you know who it is
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: because you live with Tash. Right, the game is own.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Every room is mad because Cleveland is in it. Well
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: you know Chicago at the house too, so you know
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: it y'all been at the house and since Michael lives
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: so we really have all right, thank you, Junior. Coming

- 1:11:46Speaker 1: know how to stay up sometimes falling off the little

- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I can't believe he was still sitting there like a

- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Will Smith acted out because he is struggling with personal issues,

- 1:18:15Speaker 1: you want someone to tell you the truth, but you
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: don't want to tell the truth. Okay, no lie to me, Okay,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: just hurt my feelings. All Right, we gotta go. That's
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: today's round of would you rather. We'll be back with
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey when we get
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: back at forty nine minutes after. Right after this you're
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: listening to show. All Right, guys, here we are our
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Wednesday. We gotta
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: say happy birthday to the nephew. I have a great birthday. Yeah,
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I have a wonderful Thank you. Thank you said you're
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: gonna work today, right, I am working all day? Lad
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: to work? Yeah, glad to any advice for the nephew.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Fifty fifty five is a big number, man, that's a
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: that's a twenty five to one ys on the craft table.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Two five. You throw a hundred out there and that
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: they ain't here. Oh you know, man, I would just say,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: chasing your dreams and visions are part of life, but
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: at fifty five you should spend a great deal of
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: time reflecting on the accomplishments and how far you've come
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: from where you started, because success ain't and should not
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: be determined on where you're at, but success should be
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: determined from where you are, from where you started. And
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: I think when a person gets at this age, it's
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: a time to be very reflective. And I know there's
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: things that you're gonna want more and more because there's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: things out there to be had, and the Bible says
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: a man without a dream or vision shall perish. So
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you always got to have goals and aspirations in front
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: of you, but you can never forget moments of reflection.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: And on birthdays like this, when you live fifty five years, man,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: that's more than half a century, you've actually lived longer
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: than you have left. And that's a realization and a
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: conversation about longevity that I deal with all the time
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: with my group of friends that we often realize. We
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: all realize we have lived longer than we got left.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: So when you realize that, man, you got to start
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: taking this thing called time real precious. Now, if I
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: were you, I would reflect on all the things God
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: has done for me. I mean, if you look at
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: your life, man, it's absolutely tremendous. I mean it is
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: well well above and beyond what it's considered to be average.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: You know, we sit here on this radio show every
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: day and we cut these microphones on and we talk
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to millions of people every day. That's not regular. It's
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: not a normal existence. The money we get paid, the
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: exposure that we get, it's not normal. Now, in this
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: abnormal gift that has been given to us, this incredible
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: thing called grace, we also have to honor him by
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: not only being grateful, but by taking advantage of it
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and doing our due diligence with this gift that he's
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: given us in this blessing. And you've got to take
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: this thing that he's handed to us, and you've got
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: to milk it and nurture it and wash it and
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: grow it and fertilize it and feed it and prune
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: it and cultivate it with every fiber in you so
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: that he can take you're honoring him by working your
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: gift and doing all you can for it to allow
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: him to grow it and replenish it over and over.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Because when you show gratitude for your gift from God
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and you honor him by using it, he replenishes it
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: over and over and over and the next thing. You know, man,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you have so much more than you have simply because
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you honored God by using the gift that he gave you.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: First starts with gratitude, but then it begins when you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: honor him by the use of his guilt. I want,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: at the end of this life for him to say,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: job well done, that you took this gift I gave you,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and you milked it and you worked it, and you
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: labored under it, and you dealt with it and you
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: took care of it and you honored me with it.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: And then that causes him to replenish it. And when
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: God replenishes you, Man, it's just like it's it's crazy.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: It is absolutely amazing because God will allow you to
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: reinvent yourself over and over and over, and He will
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: forever keep you relevant if you honor him. See that's
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: a part that people miss. People get the way they're going,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: and they thanks them. It ain't you, as God. And
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: in these birthdays that we keep getting, these gifts that
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: we keep getting, the more we honor him, the more
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: he'll the more he'll do for us in return. He'll
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: prepare a table in front of your enemies. He will
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: do things for you, man, that's just supernatural. He'll do
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: things to you, man, far above and beyond anything that
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you can think of ask. And that's what he does.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: He does it over and over and over again. And
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: then that's what I was talking about yesterday when I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: was talking about See, God has a tendency of picking
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: up a nobody to become a somebody in front of
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: everybody without asking anybody. That's what God do man. And
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: when you honor him by taking this gift he gave you,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: and you put all you have into what he gave you,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: and he replenish it, He'll make you relevant in front
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: of everybody. He'll pick up a nobody to become a
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: somebody in front of everybody without asking anybody, and ain't
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: nothing they can do about it. That's the God you serve.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: So when you honor him, but through gratitude and the
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: use of the gift, that's what he'll do for your Tommy,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: over and over and over and over again to you.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: A po out of blessing you will on him have
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: room enough to receive. Wow, that's my advice. Happy birthday, homie,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Love you boy. Hey, y'all, listen to me, talk to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: God He'd love to hear from you, fielment Hey. For
