Hyde-Smith moves to close immigration detention loophole
Current law permits illegal aliens with criminal records to be released back into the U.S. after six months if no other country will accept them for deportation. Thursday, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and Alabama Senator Katie Britt reintroduced legislation designed to close the legal loophole
