- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in its tubbing me through good it
- 0:21Speaker 1: stether for st Please, I don't join me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turning you're going to you, you gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn you got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby, uh huh, I shall will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: What an amazing blessing. God has given me my health,
- 2:18Speaker 1: my dreams, all of it. God gave it to me.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I accept it. I work hard, but man on, man on, man,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I work hard is something that He gave me a gift.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And that's what I want to talk to you about today,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because God has gifted everyone, so I can't help but
- 2:38Speaker 1: believe it. You are gifted in some way something about you.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It's special and unique. That doesn't mean you're the only
- 2:46Speaker 1: one that can sing, or you the only one that
- 2:48Speaker 1: can write? Are you the only one that can draw?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Are you're the only one that can decorate? Or you're
- 2:53Speaker 1: the only one that can network, or you're the only
- 2:56Speaker 1: one that that's not what it means. Or you have
- 2:58Speaker 1: a great scientific mind, or you can figure things out,
- 3:01Speaker 1: or you're good and problem solving. You're not the only one,
- 3:03Speaker 1: but you are a unique individual. Nobody will travel the
- 3:06Speaker 1: exact path that you're on. Nobody will have everything happened
- 3:09Speaker 1: in a series of circumstances in the order that you're
- 3:14Speaker 1: going to have it happened to you. That's what I
- 3:16Speaker 1: mean when I say that you are unique. But now
- 3:20Speaker 1: because you are gifted, you know you have something you
- 3:23Speaker 1: have to do. You know, there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs,
- 3:27Speaker 1: Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying to be a
- 3:30Speaker 1: little bit better at that for you, you know. So
- 3:32Speaker 1: when I have an idea and I know where it is,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I have somebody looked the scripture up from it handed
- 3:37Speaker 1: to me. So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And this
- 3:41Speaker 1: is the layman's term of it. It says a man's
- 3:44Speaker 1: gift make room for him and brings him before great men.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It is your gift that will make room for you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Now my interpretation of this is this. Now I could
- 3:55Speaker 1: be wrong. Please go to your local church, Synder God Temple,
- 3:59Speaker 1: Mos Court of you do and go get clarification. But
- 4:03Speaker 1: what my gift has done in making room for me
- 4:06Speaker 1: is I've taken it almost in the literal sense. My
- 4:09Speaker 1: gift has actually made room for me. It has cleared
- 4:12Speaker 1: paths for me. My gift has opened up doors for me.
- 4:16Speaker 1: That's what I take it as. It'll make room for you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: My gift has is broadened my ability to travel. My
- 4:23Speaker 1: gift has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has
- 4:29Speaker 1: caused me to be able to provide for my family.
- 4:33Speaker 1: My gift has caused me to be able to reach
- 4:37Speaker 1: more people. That's what I'm saying in terms of it
- 4:39Speaker 1: will make room for you. That it may be another interpretation.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm just telling you how I took it, that it's
- 4:44Speaker 1: worked out pretty good for me to that understanding. But
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Bishop Jake's, Joel Oldstein Ken If Alma,
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know God, Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Stables, these guys
- 4:54Speaker 1: give you much better understanding of it. I'm just giving
- 4:57Speaker 1: it to you, you know where I know how sold you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I don't. I just like to keep it right there.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But and then it says that it brings you before
- 5:05Speaker 1: great men. I mean, you know, it's gonna take you places.
- 5:09Speaker 1: It's gonna take you places you never thought of going.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You're gonna meet people because of your gift. I told
- 5:15Speaker 1: my son, who two of them are good photographers, You'll
- 5:18Speaker 1: be taking pictures of great men. And then I messed
- 5:21Speaker 1: with him. You're already taking pictures, say your daddy, you
- 5:23Speaker 1: know I'm messing with him like that. But that's just
- 5:24Speaker 1: me and them, just kicking it. But you know, but
- 5:27Speaker 1: one day, who knows, you could be shooting the president.
- 5:30Speaker 1: You know, you could be shooting some foreign dignitaries. You know,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you could be shooting great sport events. You know, you
- 5:35Speaker 1: never know where it could take you. But that's your guift.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What you gotta do is you gotta get to move
- 5:40Speaker 1: and though. See, you can't have your gift and not
- 5:43Speaker 1: do nothing with it. See. You know what that reminds
- 5:45Speaker 1: me of. It's something that my father used to say,
- 5:50Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 5:53Speaker 1: gold mine. He's say that all the time. Boy, get
- 5:56Speaker 1: up off your butt and move it because you're sitting
- 5:59Speaker 1: on a gold I never really quite got that when
- 6:01Speaker 1: I was little, but now that I'm an adult. I
- 6:03Speaker 1: got it full well. See, a lot of you are
- 6:06Speaker 1: sitting You're sitting on a talent or a gift that
- 6:09Speaker 1: you have. You're sitting on an ability. I don't care
- 6:12Speaker 1: if it's making cakes or pies. That's a gift, man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: that's a talent. I don't care if it's the ability
- 6:18Speaker 1: to do hell, that's a gift. Man. Half of you
- 6:21Speaker 1: are gifted. A lot of us are gifted, and we're
- 6:24Speaker 1: sitting on it, looking at other people wondering what can
- 6:27Speaker 1: I do to make it? You already got something to
- 6:30Speaker 1: make it with. If you would just get up off
- 6:32Speaker 1: your behind, man, quits sitting on that gold mine. Some
- 6:36Speaker 1: of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is when
- 6:40Speaker 1: it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and cables
- 6:43Speaker 1: and wires and computers and stuff. And now you steady
- 6:46Speaker 1: looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what I
- 6:49Speaker 1: can go do? How about you go do that? You
- 6:52Speaker 1: know it ain't that hard, man, If you would just
- 6:55Speaker 1: take note of what God has given you already, He
- 6:58Speaker 1: has given you a giftft already, He has already given
- 7:02Speaker 1: you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't using
- 7:04Speaker 1: it and you're sitting on your tail somewhere now, who
- 7:08Speaker 1: fathers what we're talking about? Well, what you're blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 1: for that? Man? I tell you what. I sit around
- 7:16Speaker 1: people all the time who are gifted, and I'm looking
- 7:21Speaker 1: at their gifts, and they steady complaining about what they
- 7:24Speaker 1: don't have, but will not get up off there behind
- 7:28Speaker 1: and use the gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's gotta be frustrating for you if you're doing it,
- 7:35Speaker 1: because it's frustrating for me when I see it. So
- 7:38Speaker 1: when these people come to me and ask me for help,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I just keep going the same thing over and over.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Help yourself, man, do for you use your gift. It's
- 7:46Speaker 1: a cat sitting behind the wall right now that's locked up.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's so good at artistry. It's cats in that tattoo
- 7:53Speaker 1: and everybody, man, get out, do it the right way.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Quit selling drugs, man, You ain't going at selling no drugs.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You're going to jail. And if that don't do it,
- 8:03Speaker 1: somebody gonna get tired of you selling drugs because they're
- 8:05Speaker 1: gonna want to sell them over and they're gonna kill you.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's just keep this thing real for just a second here,
- 8:10Speaker 1: Come on, man, get up off your butt because you're
- 8:12Speaker 1: sitting on the gold mine, and you're sitting up here,
- 8:15Speaker 1: somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 8:17Speaker 1: no shortcut, somebody told me just the other day. Man,
- 8:20Speaker 1: the road to success is always under construction. It ain't paved,
- 8:27Speaker 1: it's got detour signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Sometimes they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there
- 8:35Speaker 1: and wait. Sometime they got slow. That's traffic. That's accidents.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Somebody on the road holding up things with a flat tie.
- 8:43Speaker 1: It's nails, its gravels, This spike's everything. The road to
- 8:47Speaker 1: success is always under construction. It ain't getting ready to
- 8:52Speaker 1: be easy just because you didn't decided to do it.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But don't sit around on your behind and complain all
- 8:57Speaker 1: the time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: get up off your butt because you're sitting on a
- 9:03Speaker 1: gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
- 9:06Speaker 1: You got something that you can do that could make
- 9:09Speaker 1: a way for you, but you won't do it. It
- 9:12Speaker 1: is within you. Stop looking around. Here's where people waste
- 9:16Speaker 1: the most time on the road to success, looking around
- 9:19Speaker 1: at somebody else trying to figure out, man, how can
- 9:23Speaker 1: I do what they did? Do what you do? You
- 9:26Speaker 1: ain't jay Z, You ain't. Sorry. I got a couple
- 9:31Speaker 1: of your homies told you you rap better than him.
- 9:33Speaker 1: But you're not jay Z. Really you're not. You know,
- 9:36Speaker 1: all of us then shot at him, but we ain't
- 9:38Speaker 1: Richard Pryor a nice shot, Steve, Bernie Die, all of
- 9:43Speaker 1: we took some great shots at it. We're not him.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Do what you can do? Do you do your gift quick?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Complaining about what you don't have, Get up off your
- 9:54Speaker 1: butt because you're sitting on a gold mine. You're listening
- 9:58Speaker 1: to Steve Harping Morning Show. Who two one, two three four?
- 10:07Speaker 1: I got it? Uh show enough got it? Tell me
- 10:14Speaker 1: how you want it? Because I got it. Oh, look
- 10:19Speaker 1: at Hill, I got it. Anybody out there wan't it?
- 10:23Speaker 1: I got it? Hey, who needs some mold? I got it?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Get it from the store. I got it. Hey, Hey, hey, hey,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I got it. That's how we started it today. I
- 10:44Speaker 1: got it. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Gratitude affects your attitude,
- 10:52Speaker 1: which he termines your altitude. That's it. Shirley Strawberry calling
- 10:56Speaker 1: for real Mississippi, Monica Junior and the legendary. If you
- 11:00Speaker 1: Tommy celebrating his birthday on yesterday, we'll find out what
- 11:04Speaker 1: he did later on, Ladies and gentlemen, junior, what is
- 11:08Speaker 1: on your mind? Let me ask someone? H Oh, can
- 11:11Speaker 1: you a situation somebody mad at you about? How much
- 11:15Speaker 1: information do you need before you start confessing that you
- 11:18Speaker 1: actually did it? Oh? If you're mad at me? Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: how old before you start apologize like I'm so sorry,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I didn't mean that apologizing. Oh, we gotta o. We
- 11:28Speaker 1: gotta go through some things where you get apology. First
- 11:31Speaker 1: of all, I need to know. First of all, let
- 11:34Speaker 1: me ask you a question. What are you mad? Fault? Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 1: See you gotta know that. See you gotta use like
- 11:43Speaker 1: full let the words when you du and stuff like that.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And it's a bad word, so I can't use it.
- 11:48Speaker 1: But these are the sentences when you come to me
- 11:51Speaker 1: with you mad at me? Who the blake? What the blak?
- 11:59Speaker 1: And how come to blake? Now? Once you answered, let's

- 12:12Speaker 1: you can answer them three questions sufficiently, it has to
- 12:18Speaker 1: be to my approval, then we find out you know
- 12:22Speaker 1: what it is you're talking about, and then we talk
- 12:24Speaker 1: about of dad deserves apology. I have apologized many times
- 12:29Speaker 1: about a lot of things, you know, But you know
- 12:34Speaker 1: why you asked, though, Julie. Yeah, well, well you know
- 12:37Speaker 1: I got a part in the mind. He just started confessing,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you know to a girl that he just started saying,
- 12:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I ain't mean to do it right there,
- 12:44Speaker 1: said he's stupid, He's stupid. Yeah, he's stupid. I'm not
- 12:48Speaker 1: offending walk in the house and start confessing nothing. You
- 12:54Speaker 1: just gonna take hours of interrogation to start passing out information.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Forty eight hours I'm talking about. Man, you might as
- 13:03Speaker 1: well cut this air conditioning down on fifty eight and
- 13:06Speaker 1: putting in a T shirt in the room with a
- 13:07Speaker 1: bright light before I started answering question And I'm good
- 13:10Speaker 1: at that. I've been to jail for real. Man. Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: FBI talking to me before. I know how to stay strong? Dog,
- 13:18Speaker 1: looking at him just as confused, like I ain't had
- 13:20Speaker 1: no idea why I was down here. Dog, I was
- 13:24Speaker 1: so good, you might go ahead me blue jacket with
- 13:27Speaker 1: the little yellow writing on the back of it. I
- 13:29Speaker 1: answering questions like I was in the FBI. All right, listen,
- 13:34Speaker 1: we gotta go. Coming up in thirty two minutes after

- 14:25Speaker 1: All right? Your next dough neighbor then told me that

- 14:31Speaker 1: a block one of two thousand and five C two
- 14:33Speaker 1: forty Now I got light blue scratches on My neighbor
- 14:38Speaker 1: told you what your neighbor. Matter of fact, his name

- 15:31Speaker 1: in the damn parking lot. Man, I'm done. Look and
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm in the middle watching tea. What can I do
- 15:39Speaker 1: for you? What you mean? What can you do for mean?

- 15:49Speaker 1: no cameras but the last then I believe this conversation
- 15:52Speaker 1: is over and I don't give a damn what's across
- 15:55Speaker 1: That man across the hall told you, look, let me
- 15:58Speaker 1: tell you something. You didn't hit my car. No, you're
- 16:00Speaker 1: gonna hold on, hold on player. Uh is you yelling

- 16:21Speaker 1: is the one that hit my car? Now? Nah? What okay?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Is your sister when is she coming back? Maybe she
- 16:28Speaker 1: hit my car and didn't tell you she hit my car. Now,

- 16:41Speaker 1: ain't gonna be You won't give a what kind of
- 16:45Speaker 1: scratches you got on your car, but I can't do
- 16:48Speaker 1: a damn thing about it. And even if you did,
- 16:51Speaker 1: let me just be clear, I ain't got no insurance,
- 16:53Speaker 1: no way, so I can't do nothing for you. Wait
- 16:56Speaker 1: a minute, Wait a minute, let me tell you something
- 16:58Speaker 1: you ain't gotta tell me you ain't. I see me fine,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and as far as I'm concerned, this conversation is over.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Wait a minute, let me ask you call it back. Mister.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You act like I ain't got your about. You had
- 17:17Speaker 1: them scratches on your car all ready, and you ain't

- 17:26Speaker 1: on my car. Yeah you had him? Oh yeah, you
- 17:28Speaker 1: had no I'm gonna tell him an insurance and just

- 17:45Speaker 1: I got thirty five hundred dollars worth for scratches on
- 17:48Speaker 1: my car that you need to pay for. You the
- 17:50Speaker 1: only you're the only worth thirty five more one hundred dollars.
- 17:54Speaker 1: So you already doing better than me? What? What? What? What? Look?
- 18:00Speaker 1: I not ready told you I'm tired of talking to you.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm watching TV and you ain't got stiff talking to
- 18:06Speaker 1: me about. I need to talk to you about this car, lady,
- 18:08Speaker 1: listen to your call. My car ain't bumped up against

- 18:17Speaker 1: It's a ben Ever, it's a ben C two forty
- 18:22Speaker 1: a black Give a damn if it's a being seven
- 18:26Speaker 1: seven to seven, I can't help you. They don't make
- 18:29Speaker 1: a seven seven lady. Look, you know what? Can I
- 18:34Speaker 1: say something to you? No, you can't say you know
- 18:37Speaker 1: what you can say to me? You can say by
- 18:39Speaker 1: I just want to say one more thing to you,
- 18:41Speaker 1: one more thing. I'm gonna give your one moment, and fine,
- 18:45Speaker 1: go ahead on all. I want to say this, nephew
- 18:47Speaker 1: timing from the Steve Harvard Morning Show. Your sister robbing
- 18:50Speaker 1: out of DC, putting me off. Oh make me you
- 18:55Speaker 1: know what? I don't even have y'all. So I listen
- 19:00Speaker 1: to the show on the inn knee and this boy,
- 19:03Speaker 1: Oh you wait till I talk to her. All right,
- 19:07Speaker 1: mister Dale, listen before you go, can you tell me
- 19:10Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land, The
- 19:13Speaker 1: Steve Harbor Morning. So all right that you taught me
- 19:19Speaker 1: you knew you didn't run into nobody hit nobody, because
- 19:22Speaker 1: I'll be trying to falk myself out there, falk. Won't
- 19:25Speaker 1: nobody hit me? You know? All right? Did she breathe

- 30:40Speaker 1: align your That's him. Hill took his jersey off, same
- 30:46Speaker 1: one that left. This ignorance started when he left the
- 30:53Speaker 1: Oakland Raiders. What all he had to do was wait
- 30:57Speaker 1: till he left over the weekend. He all he had
- 31:00Speaker 1: to do was wake up Tuesday morning. He'd had thirty
- 31:03Speaker 1: million dollars he left over the weekend, lost that was
- 31:08Speaker 1: that over the helmet. That's what he said, was over

- 31:24Speaker 1: there was like so many different types of helmet as
- 31:26Speaker 1: you could pick from. Helmet was Oakland. Then he got
- 31:30Speaker 1: another chance and Temple was that no, no, no no.
- 31:33Speaker 1: He went to New England. After that, he messed that up.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Wow dollars. Then he took his ass to Temple, took
- 31:45Speaker 1: his jersey off in the New York Jets game and
- 31:47Speaker 1: ran off the field. Yeah. Well he did a whole
- 31:51Speaker 1: end zone dance before he did that, though, did they
- 31:54Speaker 1: just now? Ain't Keshia a little bit too old for
- 31:56Speaker 1: a B? I don't know now that I don't know

- 32:35Speaker 1: right with his stupid ass. Yeah, yeah, I don't like that.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I didn't like that either, BMB like that. Very just
- 32:44Speaker 1: don't see crazy coming though. You don't see this kind
- 32:47Speaker 1: of crazy company, Yes, just a different kind to Jesus.

- 33:35Speaker 1: nicking and wyoming. He gonna do some crazy stuff. All right.
- 33:41Speaker 1: We're moving on. In other entertainment news, according to Hollywood Unlocked,
- 33:45Speaker 1: the New York State Senate passed the Rap Music on
- 33:48Speaker 1: Trial Law. Now. This is a bill that prevents song
- 33:52Speaker 1: lyrics from being used as evidence in criminal cases, developing
- 33:56Speaker 1: protection for all rappers, artists, and content creators. Jay Z
- 34:01Speaker 1: and Fat Joe signed their names on the letter supporting
- 34:04Speaker 1: the legislation. Senator Jamal T. Bailey said raps should not
- 34:09Speaker 1: be treated differently from any other art form. Yet in
- 34:13Speaker 1: courtrooms across the country, artists have been unfairly targeted for
- 34:17Speaker 1: simply exercising their right to creative expression. So there you go.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I agree with you can't hold these guys to a
- 34:27Speaker 1: root a rap lyric. Sometimes you do it just for
- 34:30Speaker 1: the cause of the song, sometimes to make it rhyme,
- 34:33Speaker 1: sometimes to tell a story, not not necessarily a true story.
- 34:36Speaker 1: It's not a documentary. It's a damn rap song. Yeah,
- 34:39Speaker 1: come on yo, all right, Well that bill has passed,

- 34:58Speaker 1: we all know Chris was he has hosted the Oscars before.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Viewership roads for the Oscars this year versus last year,
- 35:06Speaker 1: and the president of ABC said on Tuesday, quote, it
- 35:10Speaker 1: was really a successful year for the show. Obviously, there
- 35:13Speaker 1: was a lot of controversy that I was really happy
- 35:15Speaker 1: with the program. I think it's a great idea to
- 35:18Speaker 1: have Chris, and I think they should have me as
- 35:21Speaker 1: his silid co host. Silent, I just want to stand
- 35:26Speaker 1: there in case he come back. He will and Christ before. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: I think it's a good look too. Coming up at
- 35:38Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, close to forty million people

- 36:09Speaker 1: over last year. And with all those travelers, there will
- 36:12Speaker 1: be plenty of traffic. I'm talking plenty of traffic. Of course,
- 36:16Speaker 1: the car isn't the only way people will be escaping
- 36:18Speaker 1: to the Memorial Day weekend destination. Millions of people will

- 37:26Speaker 1: did we not run the air back in the day.
- 37:28Speaker 1: How do we not trying to lay down in the
- 37:30Speaker 1: back of the station wagon and go to sleep with
- 37:32Speaker 1: eat bad ass shocks on this car? That I won't
- 37:38Speaker 1: go bad when we ain't stopping peeing that coffee can.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Boys on my knee. He's trying to pee in this
- 37:44Speaker 1: coffee can sicken his mess right here handling all the
- 37:51Speaker 1: white people stopping that stuck is in all these little
- 37:54Speaker 1: places did not eating. We gotta eat what my mama made.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Were opening up stuff in wax papers, went the pot
- 38:01Speaker 1: in there. All these white people going in the restaurant
- 38:06Speaker 1: to eat, were just looking out the window. Don't get
- 38:09Speaker 1: don't get out this car. We're gonna gasp something. Keep
- 38:11Speaker 1: going yeah here, running around here, beat and touch something,

- 40:23Speaker 1: been abused. You know, everybody has the right to bear arms. Okay,
- 40:27Speaker 1: I got that everybody though, so now everybody got guns. Everybody,
- 40:32Speaker 1: everybody got guns. Shouldn't have guns, and we don't have
- 40:35Speaker 1: a real proper way of determining who that person is.
- 40:39Speaker 1: So I mean, I feel you, brother, you can't get
- 40:41Speaker 1: a gun, But I don't think more guns is a solution.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You know, the only way to get rid of darkness
- 40:47Speaker 1: is with light. You ain't gonna get rid of gun
- 40:49Speaker 1: violence with more guns. You know, that's just my opinion. Now,
- 40:53Speaker 1: you're free to have yours. Anybody can have it if
- 40:55Speaker 1: they want to. But I got you on to protect yourself.
- 40:59Speaker 1: But guns is gonna lead to more gun violence, and
- 41:02Speaker 1: we we I think we're past the point of reversing
- 41:06Speaker 1: this because I think this country is so hYP hypocritical
- 41:11Speaker 1: and so in the pocket of the nr A that
- 41:15Speaker 1: we're at a point of no return in this country
- 41:18Speaker 1: because we don't even know how to solve this problem.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Because they're not gonna stop selling guns. They find every
- 41:22Speaker 1: which way they can to sell guns because they make
- 41:24Speaker 1: money off to sell the guns, and they make money
- 41:27Speaker 1: off a crime. They make money off of prisons. So
- 41:31Speaker 1: now why would you stop guns? Look, man, it's just
- 41:35Speaker 1: a big mess. So I apologize to your brother. I
- 41:37Speaker 1: appreciate you suffering your loss and understand where you're coming from.
- 41:41Speaker 1: But me personally, just Steve Harvey, don't think that more
- 41:44Speaker 1: guns is the solution. We got a big enough problem
- 41:47Speaker 1: as it is. That's just my opinion. But if you
- 41:49Speaker 1: want to own gun, I think everybody should have a
- 41:51Speaker 1: gun to one one, but it's just gonna be more problems. Yeah,
- 41:55Speaker 1: all right, Steve, let's go to mitchi Um talking about Buffalo,
- 41:59Speaker 1: New York as well. Hello, Steve, this is Mitchie from Buffalo,
- 42:03Speaker 1: New York. Just trying to wish my people in my
- 42:07Speaker 1: city a little bit of sunshine and light over the
- 42:10Speaker 1: dark time with dealing with this tragic racist defense that
- 42:14Speaker 1: just happened. It's crazy. Yeah, we all agree with you.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Everybody on the show. We send out condolences to brothers
- 42:21Speaker 1: and sisters up in Buffalo. The thing I didn't like,
- 42:25Speaker 1: first of all, the senseless murders, that's of course that
- 42:28Speaker 1: goes without saying. But when they went in there and
- 42:31Speaker 1: got him and they walked him out like they had
- 42:33Speaker 1: was arresting him for jaywalking, you know what? Ass what
- 42:38Speaker 1: a blame out? Do you understand that the dude that
- 42:41Speaker 1: bumb rushed Dave Chappelle was in worse condition getting in
- 42:46Speaker 1: the ambulance than the dude that killed twelve people. How
- 42:51Speaker 1: he come out of there and they walking him out
- 42:53Speaker 1: holding him by his arm? Where his broken arm? Man,
- 42:57Speaker 1: where you didn't kick his teeth in? We didn't do nothing. See, man,
- 43:00Speaker 1: That's what I do not like about this white privilege. Man,
- 43:03Speaker 1: because white privilege is real. You take your black as
- 43:07Speaker 1: somewhere and shoot a bunch of people, and see if
- 43:09Speaker 1: they walk you out the way they walk this little
- 43:11Speaker 1: eighteen year old white boy out. And they're already on
- 43:13Speaker 1: Fox if you watch Tucker Carson. Man, boy, the enemy
- 43:17Speaker 1: is real. We're being blamed for this mentally ill eighteen
- 43:20Speaker 1: year old and now we can't voice our opinion on
- 43:23Speaker 1: how we feel about I'm going what you didn't spun
- 43:27Speaker 1: this like this, Tucker Carson. No remorse for the loss
- 43:31Speaker 1: of lives, right right? So man, we feel five brothers
- 43:34Speaker 1: and sisters up in Buffalo, New York. Man, But were
- 43:37Speaker 1: with you on this? And justice gonna get served. He
- 43:40Speaker 1: not fitting to get off like the ridden high boy,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now. But mentally ill,
- 43:44Speaker 1: when you was selecting not to shoot the white man,
- 43:48Speaker 1: these are your reparation. Yeah, all right, um, all right,
- 43:53Speaker 1: thanks for your calls eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 43:56Speaker 1: We're gonna switch gears here and get straight to the net.

- 53:40Speaker 1: a strawberry letter, all right, thank a nephew. Subject. Fake
- 53:44Speaker 1: it till you make it, Just Stephen Shirley. You might
- 53:48Speaker 1: call me a bitter baby mama or a scorned ex girlfriend,
- 53:52Speaker 1: but that's fine by me as long as you give
- 53:54Speaker 1: me some advice on what to do. I have some
- 53:56Speaker 1: information about my ex boyfriend's new fiance. My X and
- 54:01Speaker 1: I dated for seven years and have a daughter together.
- 54:04Speaker 1: We met in law school after he was assigned to
- 54:06Speaker 1: my study group. He was a scrawny nerd with no swag,
- 54:10Speaker 1: but I liked him because he was very smart and
- 54:13Speaker 1: well spoken. After law school, we got great jobs and
- 54:17Speaker 1: we opened a mailbox and shipping center. Business was great
- 54:21Speaker 1: and I had just had our daughter, but I was
- 54:23Speaker 1: always unfulfilled sexually. He was absolutely he has absolutely no
- 54:28Speaker 1: game in the bedroom, but I suffered through it because
- 54:31Speaker 1: I loved him. In twenty twenty, he started cheating on me,
- 54:35Speaker 1: and he was so lame he did not know how
- 54:38Speaker 1: to cover his tracks. After a few months of arguing
- 54:41Speaker 1: about him cheating. He left me. I kept the house,
- 54:44Speaker 1: and he's buying me out of the business. He drafted
- 54:47Speaker 1: a document to make sure I won't keep our daughter
- 54:49Speaker 1: from him. Without any explanation, he is gone and he
- 54:53Speaker 1: lives with his new fiance now, less than a year
- 54:57Speaker 1: after he moved in with her. He gave her a
- 54:59Speaker 1: five carrot diamond ring, and he's telling all of his
- 55:02Speaker 1: friends that she's his soul mate. He cannot even look
- 55:07Speaker 1: me in the eyes now. But here's the deal. I
- 55:10Speaker 1: know for a fact that his new fiance is a
- 55:12Speaker 1: gold digger and he is being played for a fool.
- 55:16Speaker 1: She's told her sister that he is terrible in bad
- 55:19Speaker 1: and she is literally faking it until she makes it
- 55:22Speaker 1: down the aisle and becomes his wife. Her sister told
- 55:26Speaker 1: my best friend everything about how she plans to use
- 55:29Speaker 1: him for his money. I want him to feel like
- 55:31Speaker 1: an idiot for leaving me without any closure. How do
- 55:34Speaker 1: I let him know that he really screwed up big time? Wow? Well,
- 55:39Speaker 1: you know what, that's not your job. Telling him is
- 55:44Speaker 1: just not your job, I mean, and what he's doing
- 55:46Speaker 1: now is not your business. He owes you nothing but
- 55:50Speaker 1: child support for the baby you guys have together. That's it, period.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I mean, forgive this man and move on with your life.
- 55:57Speaker 1: That's my best advice to you. Stop making your every
- 56:00Speaker 1: thought about how are you going to get back at him?
- 56:02Speaker 1: Because guess what, he doesn't care he walked out on you.
- 56:07Speaker 1: If his new fiance is what you heard, she is
- 56:10Speaker 1: a gold digger, so what he'll find out soon enough
- 56:12Speaker 1: or not. It's still his life. And you know what,
- 56:15Speaker 1: life does have a way of teaching us really really
- 56:18Speaker 1: good important lessons. All right, whether or not she's a
- 56:21Speaker 1: gold digger is no concern of yours. You just want
- 56:24Speaker 1: revenge at this point, So don't be bitter. Don't be bitter.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Just get to looking your best and being even more successful.
- 56:32Speaker 1: The money he buys you out with, you can take
- 56:34Speaker 1: that and open up a new business. If you can
- 56:36Speaker 1: put your energy into yourself and your daughter, then you
- 56:41Speaker 1: won't have time to talk about mister lousy in bed.
- 56:44Speaker 1: You know you should be glad you dodged that bullet.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Don't worry. You don't have to do anything. The blank
- 56:51Speaker 1: will hit the fan soon. Then you can sit back
- 56:54Speaker 1: and watch the show. Okay, just do you live your life.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Forget about him, leave him alone, just get his child support. Steve,
- 57:01Speaker 1: um Lady, I want to I want to help you
- 57:06Speaker 1: because you said something in the beginning. You said you
- 57:10Speaker 1: might call me a bit of baby mama or a man.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Can't turn the music off. It's on your nervous Steve. Yeah,
- 57:18Speaker 1: this ain't a wrap radio show, thank you. That ain't
- 57:24Speaker 1: what this is. No, I have compelling content. You need
- 57:28Speaker 1: music when you ain't talk about that. You know your
- 57:32Speaker 1: audience had to be able to sing alone because you
- 57:34Speaker 1: might not be saying nothing. I'm always saying thank you?
- 57:39Speaker 1: Who's getting on my last? Man? I can't talk with
- 57:41Speaker 1: all that in the fact that ain't cool in the game.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Some of madness, that's that's straw bed brother Johnson. Anyway,
- 57:51Speaker 1: I want to help because she said you might want
- 57:53Speaker 1: to call me a bit of baby mama or scoring
- 57:55Speaker 1: their girlfriend. That's fine by me, as long as you
- 57:57Speaker 1: give me some advice on what to do, so I
- 57:59Speaker 1: respect she knows how she's gonna come across. Now, what
- 58:03Speaker 1: startling is who wrote these letters? My X and I
- 58:08Speaker 1: dated for seven years, have a daughter together. We met
- 58:13Speaker 1: in law school. You know, very rarely do you have
- 58:18Speaker 1: these type of people writing into radio stations. They met
- 58:22Speaker 1: in law school after he was assigned to my study group.
- 58:26Speaker 1: He was a scrawny nerd, no swagger, but I liked
- 58:29Speaker 1: him because he was very smart and well spoken and
- 58:33Speaker 1: probably the only other black in the class. I'm gonna
- 58:35Speaker 1: go throw that out there. I don't know that for
- 58:37Speaker 1: a fact that I ain't get the letter, and I
- 58:38Speaker 1: just wanted to throw that out there, you know, just
- 58:41Speaker 1: to be you know, add more color to the letter.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You know. After law school we got great jobs and
- 58:46Speaker 1: we opened a mailbox in the shipping center. Business was great,
- 58:49Speaker 1: and I had our daughter, she had a daughter, but
- 58:52Speaker 1: I was always unfulfilled sexually. He has absolutely no game
- 58:56Speaker 1: in the bedroom. But I suffered through it because I
- 58:59Speaker 1: loved This is important information. I have a baby by
- 59:04Speaker 1: a man that really ain't handling no business in the bedroom,
- 59:11Speaker 1: and you suffered through it, but you love him. Then
- 59:15Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, he started cheating on me, and he
- 59:18Speaker 1: was so lame. He didn't know how to cover his tracks.
- 59:21Speaker 1: After a few months are arguing about cheating, he left. Well,
- 59:25Speaker 1: he don't know how to cover his track because he
- 59:26Speaker 1: never did it before. He ain't got no game, He
- 59:28Speaker 1: ain't got no swagger. He just out there doing though.
- 59:32Speaker 1: But you know, I mean he gone. Now after a
- 59:34Speaker 1: few months arguing about him cheating, he left me. When
- 59:36Speaker 1: we come back, we're gonna go over what you kept
- 59:39Speaker 1: and when you're going to find out that this is
- 59:42Speaker 1: actually a blessing in disguise when we come back. All right, Steve,
- 59:48Speaker 1: we will be back at twenty three minutes after the
- 59:51Speaker 1: hour with part two of your response. The subject today
- 59:54Speaker 1: is fake it till you make it. We'll be back
- 59:56Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: is fake it till you make it. Former law students
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: dated for seven years. This woman that has her baby
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: by this man. She's a bit bitter, she claims, which
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: is okay and understandable. They met in law school. He
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: was scrowny, nerd, no swagger, but she liked him. After
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: law school, they opened up a business. They had a daughter,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: but she said she was always unfulfilled sexually. He had
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: no game in the bedroom, but I suffered through it
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: because I loved Then in twenty twenty, he started cheating
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: on me, and he was so lame, he didn't know
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: how to cover his tracks, and not a few moments
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: arguing about him cheating. He left me. Now, to me,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: this seems like good riddens. You know you got it.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: You got a man that ain't doing nothing for you sexually,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: you had the baby. You know he ain't doing nothing.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: He come home now he cheating. Sound like good riddens
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: to me. But you want some clothes, y'all see soul Anyway,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I kept the house and he's buying me out of
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the business. He drafted a document to make sure I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: don't keep our daughter from him. All that's fair so far,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you win it. You're gonna get your half of the
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: money of the business, and you got to keep the house,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and you got the door. Without any explanation, he is gone,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: and he lives with his new fiance now less than
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: a year after he moved in with her and gave
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: her a five care diamond ring, and he's telling all
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: of his friends she's his soul mate. Now you know,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: this could be true. This could be his soul mate.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: We don't know, We don't have enough information, but it
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: very well could be. We know you wasn't, but also
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: he wasn't yours. See, ladies, y'all get thrown off with
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I wasn't his soul mate. Oh he wasn't yours though,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you see. So sometimes you'd be looking at the ale
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: and you don't realize the w You're looking at the
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: loss when you actually need to focus on the win.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I found out now he talk, this is his soul mate.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: She might be because you wasn't. But then here's the upside, ma'am,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he wasn't your soul me. So now you have an
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: opportunity also to find your soul mate. But you ain't
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: gonna find him. To keep digging up your pass. You
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: ain't gonna find it, digging up your pass, dwelling in
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: your past, wearing about your pass. What pass is gone?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: That's it. So now I know for a fact. Now
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: you say, he can't even look me in the eyes.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Right now, where are you the coward? But here's a deal.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I know for a fact that his new fiance is
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: a gold digger. Now why that's your business, I don't know.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: But obviously you're making something your business that you don't
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: even have to. This ain't even your problem, he gone.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Why are you making this your issue? His fiance has
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a gold digging. He's being played for a food. She
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: told her sister that he's terrible in bad, and she's
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: literally faking it till he makes it down the isle
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: to become his wife. Now listen to this. She told
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: his sister that he terribly in bed. Didn't you notice
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: he's just passing this a little bad thing all around
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: town in his bad Oh, he got his money to
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: go with it. He ain't got nothing. Everybody get with him, No,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: he ain't. He ain't even learning how to be good
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: at it. So now another woman find out and she's
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: literally faking it till she makes it down the isle
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: and becomes his wife. Her sister told my best friend
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: everything about how she plans to use him for his money.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I just told you ain't got number money, he ain't
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: got no swag in the bedroom. You said that, But
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: why are you worrying about this gold digging fiance that
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing to do with. You're making a
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: problem yours that don't even have to be yours. But
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around and not meet your soul mate
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: because you're worrying about another man who obviously wasn't your
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: soul mate, who claimed to have found a old maiden.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Ain't got nothing to do with you. I want him
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to feel like an idiot for leaving me without any closure.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: How do I let him know that he really screwed
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: up big time? You ain't got to let him know that.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Wait a minute, You don't think this scenario find to
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: play himself out. You don't really think that if he
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: married this woman and this woman just waiting to get
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: married to him for his money. You don't think he
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: ain't gonna find this out. You don't think so. You
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: ain't got to help this situation. You got what you're
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: doing by getting yourself in this situation is making your
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: situation worse. You don't need closure. He lives with another woman.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: He hadn't bought her a five card ring and claimed
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: her as his soul mate? Or what? What? What more? Closure? You?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: What else? But I'm just need to know what else
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: you knew? He don't want you. In the words of
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Judge lying to Tooler, don't let a woman have to
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: tell you, don't excuse me. In the words of Judge
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Leeing Toler, don't let a man have to tell you
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: he don't want you. Now he'd have told you that
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: he don't want you because he cheated on him. Then
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: he told you he don't want you because he moved
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: in with another woman. Then he told you he didn't
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: want you because he said now he'd have found his
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: soul mate. So now what you want to do, lady?
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: This is good, riddeness, This is your chance to move
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: on and find your soul man, But you ain't gonna
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: find your soul mate waring about what he doing. Let
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: him go with his non bacon frying behind it. I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: wish I would be wearying about some woman's on where
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: it don't do nothing for me? Man, Lee gone about
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: your bids? You ain't good in bed, and I'm sending
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: him wearying about you? Man, Lease, can't that someway else?

- 1:07:12Speaker 1: play basic basketball, you gotta watch Golden State Warriors, because
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: they passed the ball at least six times for these
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: shot last night. Everybody was in double figures last night
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: for the starters for the Golden State Warriors one twelve
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: to eighty seven. Luca can't do it all by himself. Man,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: he needs some help. Man, We've got to get Lucas
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: some help. Somebody got to step up now because we
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: are in Dallas. I just want to say this, and
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: just as Christian of a way as I can listen,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I'm from Cleveland, I always be from Cleveland. I am
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: that dude. Now, you just gonna have to deal with
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: this series like I have had to deal with the
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Browns my entire life. How's that that's Jeff safe in
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to have him right now? I love Luca. I think
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that boys whoa all that in the bag of chip?
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: But they got the Splash Brothers data and they added
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: who they got that ignit ass Draymond and not to mention,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: God have mercy that damn Steph Curry man shooting from anywhere.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: He won't to you know how bad they got to feel.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You play your best defense, and step said, I appreciate
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: at that, and he just pull up from half court.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I would be mad as hell. Man, I'm playing the
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: best I'm out here guard doing the best. I can't.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I wish the Mavericks, you know, I think they're gonna
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: make it a series though, I really do, But this,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: this is uh, this is gonna be funky now. I
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: think in the other series Boston, I think if they
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: can get Smart back in the Horford back, I think
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: they're gonna give Miami run for money. But they had
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: keeps playing out that series. So hanging out Dallas, yeah, Das,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Come on, Luca, Man, get another hero with your boy.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Man Hens' evil some more hill But Golden State looked
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: good last night. Man. That's boyfriend. All right, Junior, thank you.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, President Biden
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: vows that hate will not prevail. We'll talk about that
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening morning show. Well. In the
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: wake of Saturday shooting spree by a racist white supremacist
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: who killed ten black people in a predominantly black neighborhood
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: of Buffalo, New York, President Biden visited there visit the
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: area on Tuesday and delivered an emotional speech, vowing that
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: white supremacy and hate will not prevail. Take a listen,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: for the evil did come to Buffalo has come to
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: all too many places. Manifesting gunman who massacred innocent people
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: in the name of hateful, perverse ideology rooted in fear
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and racism. It's taken so much. Ten lives cut short
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: in the grocery store, three other wounded, three or three
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: other wounded by a hatefulled individual who had driven two
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: hundred miles from Binghamton and then at range to carry
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: out a murderous racist rampage that he would live stream,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: live stream to the world. What happened here is simple
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: and straightforward terrorism, terrorism, domestic terrorism, violence inflicting in the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: service of hate and the vicious thirst for power that
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: defines one group of people being inherently inferior to any
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: other group. Hate that through the media and politics, the
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Internet has radicalized angry, alienated, lost, and isolated individuals in
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the falsely believing that they will be replaced that's the word,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: replaced by the other, by people who don't look like
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: them and who are therefore in the perverse I geology
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: that they possessed and being fed lesser, being ill, and
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: all of you reject the lie. I call it all
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Americans to reject the lie. And I can theemn those
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: who spread the life for power, political gain, and for profit.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: That's what it is. Wow. I mean, sure, what he's saying,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: it's true. Whether anything is done about it as a
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: whole another issue. Well, you know, the key part for
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: me was when he said for people who use it
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: for political gain. That's a clear message because not speaking
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: out against this is almost like condoning it. I'm just
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: it's really devastating, man, when you watch these reporters on Fox,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: how they report on this thing. It's amazing, man, how
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: the Republican senators don't come out and speak about this.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Now there are I haven't heard anybody talking about it
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: other than dog on Democrats. I haven't heard anybody talking
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: about this question and in terms of being outraged, not
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the Republican part. If they have, I've just missed it.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I'm sorry if I've missed it, but I haven't seen it.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: And that sends a clear message because Joe President Biden
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: was saying, if you're gonna use these types of things
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: for political gain and power, you you you've got to
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: renounce this type of thing. They don't they sit that, man,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: because it didn't happen to them. Again, it don't happen
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to them, and the sad part about it is when
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: there is a school shooting that involves white kids. Again,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: if it don't involve they white kids, their very own
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: personal senate white children, they don't care about that either.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: They don't. Man, this is the sickness of this country. Man.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I'm tired of it, and I'm tired everybody asking us
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: to understand and be patient, be patient for what? What else?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You want us to wait on? What? You want us
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: to wait on the next shooting because it's coming. It's coming.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You want us to wait on the next racist terrorist
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: act because it's coming. You want us to wait on
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the next police officer that kills an innocent black person
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: because it's coming. Y'all. Nothing to stop, You're not They're
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: nothing to stop, man, because the people in power are
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: not making moves to stop it. And it's simply because
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: it's not happening to them. It just keep happening to us,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: and they want to stay in power. They want to
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: stay in power, keep their positions, keep living there the
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: mosque and do something, Ain nothing gonna happen, Going to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Jewish synagogue and do something aint nothing gonna happen. Nothing, man,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: They ain't a laws in the change. Yeah, all right,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stay Show and trending news. Police
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: found a sixty one feet deep drug smuggling tunnel along
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: from Tijuana to San Diego, Okay. Authority said it's about
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: a length of a six foot six football fields. Imagine
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: that six football fields. You guys are in the sports
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: and football. Yeah, that's how long the tunnel is. That's
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: how long it is. It has a rail system, ventilation system,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and reinforced walls. The authorities seized about seventeen over seventeen
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: hundred pounds of cocaine, one hundred and sixty five pounds
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: of maths, three point five three and a half pounds
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: of heroin. Six people were charged and they are residents
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: of southern California. How did they How did the police
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: find the tunnel? The authorities staked out a house often
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: used to stash drugs, making traffic stops that had been
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: near a warehouse by the border, and the investigation continued
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: and the authorities found the tunnel. So that's how they
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: take wayne more than six people to dig that far
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: electricity in the tunnel? Who by the light bill? Yeah?
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Who gotta operating? Baby? The contel got money? Man? Really
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: know what we we won't address the real problem, which
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: is we abuse more drugs and use more drugs in
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: this country than any other nation in the world. And
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: we won't address that problem. We got so many men. Yeah,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: all right, we gotta move on here. Guys coming up
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll switch gears
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: and play around. I would you rather right after this
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: you're listening to show it is time now for would
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: you rather let's play around. Let's get into it. Would
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you rather sing everything you speak? Or would you rather
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: dance every time you walk? Everything? Hey, we know that's
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: what you want. I'm not sure to be that happy
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: ass black person dancing every time you walk doing a
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: little ship. So sing something, Steve, ask me a question. Okay,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: what time is our meeting today? Our conference call meeting?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: The time of the meeting will be somewhere by the
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: quarter to three. I won't you call the Tommy, I
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: won't Junior gun Mississippi Monarcha. I won't everybody bo zoom,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: get plenty of rude. The phone call three Ias afternoon.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: He sings everything. I just yeah, yeah, all right. So
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: here's another one. Would you rather have Christmas twice a year?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Or would you rather have your birthday twice a year? Birthday? Christmas?
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: You rather have your birthday twice? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah? Why
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: not Christmas? Margin damned Mother's day, damn anniversary, her birthday?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Oh hell no, we even do Christmas twice? Okay, I guess, okay,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: coins yeah, okay, all right. Would you rather be the
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: commissioner of the NFL or be the general manager of
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: your favorite NFL team? Would you rather be the commissioner
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: of the NFL? Would you rather be the general manager
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: of your favorite NFL sports team? Would one general manager?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Ain't doing nothing? I need to be out front them,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: beat the commission, commission and the check weight that. I'll
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: tell you right now that Shaun Watson would be playing
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: for the Browns right now, he would be what playing
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: for the Browns? Right? No criminal charges? We have none?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Get you here, either does the commissioner, because he's out front. Okay, absolutely,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: what about you, junior commissioner. Yeah, he wouldn't be in
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Cleveland if I was the commissioner. Okay, Soday, Well, good
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: thing you last, ain't the commissioner hater? All right? Thank
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: you guys. That is the today's round of would you rather?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: last break of the day and Steve Harvey's closing remarks
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening Morning show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: it is the last break of the day. This day
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: went quickly. It's the last break of the day right here.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: It's been a good, good, good Thursday. Right, yeah, this
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: is good Thursday. Yeah, Thursday. Yeah, oh yeah, it's gone
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: by so quickly, righting. Ain't when we went back with
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: y'all knowing it ain't that right now Friday? Right now,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: that's what you want? Hey, Steve, I got a question
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: for you. You work a lot of jobs, but what
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: does retirement look like for you? I don't know, you know,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I was talking to my wife about this, and I
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: really don't see myself ever doing nothing. I think ultimately
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: what I'd like to do is walk away from TV,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: and I would love to just run my mentoring camp
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: for young boys and girl else and change as many
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: young people's lives as I could. I kind of want
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: to be in a role or position of you know,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: helping people that are less fortunate, you know, spreading a
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: good will around the globe. That's pretty much what I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: see myself doing. I don't really see myself doing any nothing.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: But then at the same time, you know, I got
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: all I gotta find a way to earn a living,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you know what I mean, I gotta do something, So
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I don't I don't really know what that looks like exactly.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: I've been praying about it a lot. I think I'll
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: be somewhere in the motivational touring space, and I know
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I'll definitely be in the more of a business capacity.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: That's why I am headed now. So you know, hopefully
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: my businesses will be strong enough to allow me to
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: walk away because I don't. I'm gonna you know, I'm
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: gonna be done with social media, and I want to
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: be done with the television part of my life because
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I you know, I'm a person where I don't really
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: have a problem being afraid to reinvent myself. The hardest
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: decision I've ever made career wise, to retire from stand
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: up That was my toughest, single, toughest decision of my
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: life career wise, because it was the thing that made
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: me and it's still a part of me. So if
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I can walk away from stand up, I can certainly
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: walk away from television. I just I just got to
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: be in a position about I don't I don't want
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to say that because y'all listening right now. Yes we are,
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: n't know we can make our retirement points, Okay, I
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: mean you know, I want you know, I'm sixty five
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: years old. I've worked hard enough to be able to determine,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: you know, do I want to keep up? Do I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: want to? I do want to keep waking up? Do
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I do? I still enjoy radio very much. So it's
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: a part of my life. Yeah. I just signed a
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: new deal, so I'm here, you know, so I don't
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: see an ending anytime soon at all, to be honest
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: with you, but it's some other things I do want
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: to walk away from. So yeah, next question, anybody, Okay,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: So I got a question. You could put three things
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: on your bucket list? What three things? Would it be?
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Three things on my bucket list? There's a place in
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: the molds that I've seen and I want to, Uh,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I want to go and stay there for a month
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: that's on the bucket list. A month that's on my
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: bucket list also, and I'm going to accomplish that. Also,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: there is on my bucket list to travel the globe
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: for goodwill and change lives like that, but not as
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: a politician. I never want to be in politics. I don't.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I don't enjoy the red tape of it. If I
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: could find a place where I could do things politically
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: that didn't involve the red tape, that's why I see
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: my life going. That's on the bucket list to travel
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the globe for goodwill, for goodwill, not not for profit,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: for goodwill, gestures of kindness and philanthropy. And I guess
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: the only other thing on the bucket list is to
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: have enough money to take out that full page ad
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: in the USA Today and the list of people who
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: can kiss son don't shine. No, really, that's so I'm dead,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: damn sisk list. What you need to wearry about is
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: to make sure your ass a owned up bucket list list,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: because that's the third damn thing, full page ad USA Today,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: color name in block print it and I'm not gonna
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: put it in alphabetical order. I want you to have
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: to read every damn name to see if you want. Now,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: But wait, what is the headline gonna say. What is
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the headline going to say? The following people, The following people, Uh,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: can put my whole ass in a box, kiss it
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and don't miss a ConA. That's the deadlines. The following
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: people can put my whole ass in a box, kiss it,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: and don't miss a ConA. I'm gonna have ass packed
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: in that box, don't miss I have booty meat all
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: up in the ConA or the box. Yes, yes, that's
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: the tinily all the fox gonna beyond that, everybody, fox y, Hey, y'all.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: After that. I hate to tell you this, but this
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: is the best news of the day. Listen to him,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: talk to God. He would love to me. For all
