- 2:09Speaker 3: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here
- 2:13Speaker 3: it is today, got a good one for you today.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Here's the information that came to me today. When God
- 2:20Speaker 3: created you, God created you as a work of art, because,
- 2:29Speaker 3: like I said, we are all a piece of Him.
- 2:31Speaker 3: He created all of us as in his own image.
- 2:35Speaker 3: So all of us are this very unique. Each person
- 2:39Speaker 3: is very very unique, down to a very fine details.
- 2:44Speaker 3: No one is the exact same. Now, you meet a
- 2:46Speaker 3: lot of people that's very similar to you. You're running
- 2:48Speaker 3: into people who have a bunch of likes that you like,
- 2:51Speaker 3: shared dislikes. You know, you got a lot in common
- 2:53Speaker 3: with people. But nobody is exactly like you. And the
- 2:57Speaker 3: reason you know that is because of fingerprints. How is
- 3:00Speaker 3: it that this God is so imaginative, he's so dead
- 3:07Speaker 3: on that no two fingerprints are alike. How in all
- 3:12Speaker 3: the FBI criminal everybody in the database, no two fingerprints
- 3:17Speaker 3: are alike.
- 3:18Speaker 2: That's how unique God made you. That's a powerful thing.
- 3:21Speaker 3: To come to the realization of that you, in some
- 3:24Speaker 3: very small way, are so different from everyone else. That's
- 3:28Speaker 3: how special God is. But that's how special he made you.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So you are this creation. You are this work of art.
- 3:38Speaker 3: God said in his word that he created us, and
- 3:41Speaker 3: he came to us so that we could have a
- 3:44Speaker 3: life and have it more abundantly. Now okay, now let's
- 3:49Speaker 3: just start right there. You are created in God's image.
- 3:55Speaker 3: You are very unique. Proof your fingerprint is like no
- 3:58Speaker 3: one else is living amazing, He'd have done over six
- 4:01Speaker 3: and a half billion people and ain't duplicated the same
- 4:04Speaker 3: finger prayer, Ah man, come on, now, okay.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So now.
- 4:08Speaker 3: He's created you to be something with this gift he's
- 4:13Speaker 3: given you that he can expose to the world, that
- 4:16Speaker 3: he can show off to your circle of friend that
- 4:18Speaker 3: whatever your world is, however big it is, and it
- 4:20Speaker 3: doesn't matter about you becoming famous in your world He
- 4:23Speaker 3: wanted to be able to show you off, to floss you,
- 4:27Speaker 3: to show the peace of you that has him in it.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Okay, that's what you were created for.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Now, since God wants you to have a life of abundance,
- 4:38Speaker 3: that means everybody. Here's the news that God has blessings
- 4:43Speaker 3: designed specifically for you, and the moment you were created,
- 4:48Speaker 3: he started sending them your way.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Here is the good news. Here, that's the good news.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Here is the news.
- 4:55Speaker 3: We gotta be aware of you. I. We are the
- 5:01Speaker 3: only ones that can turn back the blessings.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Drum rope.
- 5:09Speaker 9: Uh.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Oh newsflash.
- 5:12Speaker 3: The moment we were created in his special way for us,
- 5:16Speaker 3: God started shipping the blessings that would allow us to
- 5:20Speaker 3: have this life of abundance that He wants for us,
- 5:22Speaker 3: that would have us to be able to accumulate and
- 5:25Speaker 3: acquire and develop the gifts and talents that He's bestowed
- 5:29Speaker 3: upon us to show off in the world that we
- 5:31Speaker 3: are created to be in. He sent them on the way. Oh,
- 5:35Speaker 3: newsflash you I, we are the only ones that can
- 5:40Speaker 3: turn back the blessings. See what you're talking about, boy,
- 5:44Speaker 3: that because of our attitude, we directly affect our altitude,
- 5:52Speaker 3: so our attitude, y'all determines how high we go.
- 5:57Speaker 2: You got a bad attitude. I got low self esteem.
- 6:01Speaker 3: You have low aspirations, you have low tolerance for people.
- 6:07Speaker 3: You have a low relationship with your creator. You have
- 6:12Speaker 3: low time on the meter of prayer. You have low
- 6:16Speaker 3: will Guess what low altitude? You are the only one
- 6:22Speaker 3: that can turn back your blessings. Now the way to
- 6:25Speaker 3: get your blessings sent and you stop blocking them and
- 6:29Speaker 3: turning them back. You have to change your mind. You
- 6:34Speaker 3: have to get into receivership mode. You have to be
- 6:37Speaker 3: ready and willing to do just a couple of things
- 6:41Speaker 3: to get the blessings sense your way. First of all,
- 6:45Speaker 3: go to God, who is your creator? Who made the
- 6:49Speaker 3: fingerprint that you have? Man, I can't even get past
- 6:53Speaker 3: of what I just tripped on right here. He has
- 6:56Speaker 3: made you so specific. No two fingerprints are alike out
- 6:59Speaker 3: of the six and a half billion people that He's created.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Ain't no two fingerprints alike. You can't tell me God
- 7:06Speaker 3: didn't create you to make you special. With that in mind,
- 7:11Speaker 3: with your uniqueness, talk to the God you serve the
- 7:16Speaker 3: creator and find out what he created you for. It's
- 7:21Speaker 3: a very simple prayer it's God. I know that I'm
- 7:24Speaker 3: made by you. I've been struggling with the who I
- 7:27Speaker 3: am and the what I am. I do not really
- 7:30Speaker 3: know what my mission is. I have not figured it out.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Can you help me figure that out today? And He
- 7:36Speaker 3: will start sending the answers. But let me give you
- 7:39Speaker 3: a couple of jumpstarters. First of all, identify your gift, Steve,
- 7:44Speaker 3: what gift?
- 7:45Speaker 2: The gift that God gave everybody when he created us
- 7:48Speaker 2: with these fingerprints.
- 7:49Speaker 3: See, he not only gave you your own fingerprint, he
- 7:53Speaker 3: gave you your own fingerprint because that's.
- 7:55Speaker 2: The imprint you will put on the world that we
- 7:57Speaker 2: live in today.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yours is uniquely yours, because that fingerprint is the imprint
- 8:02Speaker 3: that you will put on the world when you're gone.
- 8:06Speaker 3: So now, there's got to be something great in you,
- 8:09Speaker 3: and you know it. That's why you keep asking the question,
- 8:11Speaker 3: what is it? It's got to be more to life
- 8:13Speaker 3: than this. I can't tell you how many times I
- 8:15Speaker 3: asked my God that. But let me tell you what
- 8:17Speaker 3: I found out. If you identify your gift, you start
- 8:20Speaker 3: the process. Steve, what gift you keep talking about? I
- 8:23Speaker 3: keep talking about that gift that God gave you because God,
- 8:27Speaker 3: just like he gave you them fingerprints, He never ever
- 8:29Speaker 3: created a soul that he didn't give a gift or
- 8:32Speaker 3: talent to the gift and the talent is the same thing.
- 8:35Speaker 2: The gift and the talent is the same thing. What
- 8:37Speaker 2: is that simple?
- 8:39Speaker 3: It is the thing that you do the absolute best
- 8:45Speaker 3: with the least amount of effort. See now we go
- 8:47Speaker 3: back to one of them principles. That's the same Steve.
- 8:49Speaker 3: You didn't said that a thousand times on the radio.
- 8:51Speaker 3: I'm trying to get another way to get you to
- 8:53Speaker 3: understand that. But it's your gift, your God giving. Now,
- 8:56Speaker 3: your gift and talent may be very similar to someone else,
- 9:01Speaker 3: but your fingerprint that you're gonna leave with it your
- 9:05Speaker 3: journey through life is gonna be totally different. Beyonce's gift
- 9:08Speaker 3: God of the worst she is. You may be able
- 9:10Speaker 3: to sing out saying Beyonce or sing just as good
- 9:13Speaker 3: as Beyonce, But guess what, that ain't your finger print.
- 9:17Speaker 3: You ain't meant to be her. Maybe your singing gonna
- 9:19Speaker 3: go somewhere else, But you first got to identify the talent.
- 9:23Speaker 3: And the talent is always not in entertaining. In sports,
- 9:27Speaker 3: the majority and the greatest talents have nothing to do
- 9:31Speaker 3: with entertainment of sports.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 9:33Speaker 3: What is it that you do better than anything else
- 9:36Speaker 3: that you do without any effort? Do you counsel, do
- 9:39Speaker 3: you teach, do you draw, do you design? Do you worship?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Do you Are you a nurturer or you have nursing skills,
- 9:48Speaker 3: whatever that is, Go find that first. That's the starting point.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Thank God for that right there, and the rest will
- 9:56Speaker 3: start to come and tee here listening to the Steve
- 9:58Speaker 3: Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come for us.
- 10:06Speaker 3: To open our eyes and realize that this opportunity that's
- 10:09Speaker 3: in front of us is a gift. It's favor, it's grace.
- 10:14Speaker 3: Yeah it is, y'all. Don't take it for granted. Don't
- 10:17Speaker 3: take it for granted. Think about this man. Think about
- 10:21Speaker 3: any measure of health that you may have. Think about
- 10:24Speaker 3: all that he has done for you over the years.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Think of everything that you can that he's brought you
- 10:30Speaker 3: through when you didn't know how you was gonna get through. Now,
- 10:34Speaker 3: when you do that, you know what I want you
- 10:36Speaker 3: to do. I want you to be grateful. I want
- 10:38Speaker 3: you to be grateful.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Nothing rings the bell in heaven for you like gratitude.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Does the angels rejoice when you show gratitude your heavenly father?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Man? Oh man, oh man, thank you God. I show
- 10:53Speaker 2: appreciate it.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Steve Harverbartis Show, Shelly Strawberry, Colin Farreil, Mississippi, Monica Jr.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And the legend that is a few times at junior.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Uh, you're pretty wise.
- 11:04Speaker 2: You're pretty wise person well about some things about something
- 11:09Speaker 2: bout some things.
- 11:10Speaker 10: I think you know what some about this aren't Like
- 11:11Speaker 10: how do how do you how do you approach a
- 11:14Speaker 10: problem when you got no experience in that area?
- 11:16Speaker 6: Like?
- 11:16Speaker 2: How you overcome them? How do you approach a problem?
- 11:20Speaker 11: Yeah, when you have no experience in that area, you
- 11:22Speaker 11: ain't never seen it before.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Oh that's easy.
- 11:26Speaker 3: All you got to do is wake up, just deal
- 11:31Speaker 3: with it, pray about it, hold fast because guess what
- 11:37Speaker 3: that problem that you don't have any experience with handling?
- 11:40Speaker 3: You about to get the necessary experience. See, that's what
- 11:43Speaker 3: all of this is about. We just become more experienced
- 11:47Speaker 3: as we go along. The reason I know the response
- 11:51Speaker 3: to some of these things is because I've actually experienced
- 11:56Speaker 3: most of these things.
- 11:59Speaker 1: And so you know, there's a saying that says experience
- 12:02Speaker 1: is priceless.
- 12:04Speaker 2: It's a shame. You have to pay for it with
- 12:07Speaker 2: your youth. Man. To get to know what I know today,
- 12:14Speaker 2: it cost me my youth.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I can't tell you how many times I didnet faced
- 12:20Speaker 3: some stuff I didn't have answer to, how many times
- 12:23Speaker 3: I faced the situation I had never seen before, and
- 12:27Speaker 3: but by the grace and favor of God, he got
- 12:30Speaker 3: me through it.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I didn't. Man, let me tell you something. I know
- 12:34Speaker 2: some things.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Man, I still don't know how I got through it.
- 12:37Speaker 3: All I can do is just say it just it
- 12:39Speaker 3: must have been God. That's all I can tell you,
- 12:41Speaker 3: because I still don't know how I got through some
- 12:43Speaker 3: of it. I still don't know. But then I do
- 12:47Speaker 3: know it was by the grace of God, God's favor
- 12:52Speaker 3: on me. You know what, I can live without a
- 12:54Speaker 3: lot of things. You could take all my money, but
- 12:58Speaker 3: if you just don't take away my race, just don't
- 13:02Speaker 3: remove God's grace from mine. I can survive anything. I've
- 13:05Speaker 3: lost my mom and daddy, my brother, my best friends.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I've lost some dear people to me, but I can't
- 13:12Speaker 3: lose his grace, man, His grace is everything. All I
- 13:18Speaker 3: want is a little more grace. That's all they used
- 13:22Speaker 3: to sing in my church, and boy they ain't never lied.
- 13:25Speaker 2: So just hey man, just hanging out.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Man, you go, you go, You gonna learn what you

- 27:19Speaker 12: Barstow writes, I met a man online and he's handsome
- 27:23Speaker 12: and he loves the Lord. He also loves white, white clothes,
- 27:28Speaker 12: white shoes, and white glasses. Even his car is white.
- 27:32Speaker 12: I can't take him seriously like that. Do you think
- 27:35Speaker 12: this is something I can change about him?
- 27:38Speaker 13: No?
- 27:38Speaker 2: But you could introduce him to Lisa Ray. Yeah, I
- 27:41Speaker 2: don't work white on white right on here, ma'am. I
- 27:50Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You know, white glasses shut out to Lisa.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the white glasses for me, though, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:03Speaker 3: it's the white glasses for me.
- 28:06Speaker 1: If you just take those off, that's something I've never
- 28:09Speaker 1: been able to do.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I know, white glasses. I just can't.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You're good with that?

- 28:41Speaker 2: Is she just need it?
- 28:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's something I mean. I mean you could date
- 28:46Speaker 3: the man just you bring the color to the relationship.
- 28:48Speaker 3: He's sitting over there in white and you just wear
- 28:51Speaker 3: your colors.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Okay, she said his hand and he loves the lord.
- 28:56Speaker 10: Well, well, you ain't sure you're going there yet to
- 29:00Speaker 10: say your life. You might have to change that to
- 29:01Speaker 10: read it all right, we don't know yet.
- 29:09Speaker 12: This way, give it a minute, all right, Last one,
- 29:12Speaker 12: last one, Celo.
- 29:13Speaker 1: This is from Raheim in Queens.
- 29:17Speaker 12: Raheem writes, My wife and I had sex on a
- 29:19Speaker 12: rooftop this past weekend and we were not thinking about
- 29:22Speaker 12: how cameras are everywhere nowadays.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Our landlord called me and talked to me like I
- 29:27Speaker 1: was a kid, and I don't like that.
- 29:29Speaker 12: Should I call him back and tell him to watch
- 29:31Speaker 12: himself or count my blessings and let it go?
- 29:35Speaker 3: Well, you can call him and talk to him how
- 29:37Speaker 3: you want to. But you're going to be needing somewhere
- 29:39Speaker 3: else to stay home. Well yeah, yeah, you're you're the renter,
- 29:44Speaker 3: not the owner.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I don't know why he called you and talked to
- 29:48Speaker 3: you crazy. He must have obviously he left this out
- 29:51Speaker 3: of the letter. He said something to you about what
- 29:53Speaker 3: he saw on the count exactly, you.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Know, and what you ought to do. Man, it's just
- 30:01Speaker 2: use it as a warning. It is just him, that's
- 30:04Speaker 2: so it.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Oh, you know, Roof Just hope he don't post it
- 30:12Speaker 3: on Facebook because he owns so he gonna go straight
- 30:14Speaker 3: to Facebook.
- 30:16Speaker 2: All right.
- 30:17Speaker 1: On that note, thank you, CLU.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Peter called the people down in my space four times
- 30:23Speaker 3: and ask him why he can't long.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Going up.
- 30:27Speaker 12: At the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment
- 30:29Speaker 12: news for you right after this.
- 30:32Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 12: There were unbelievable gun violence statistics this past Fourth of
- 30:42Speaker 12: July weekend in both Chicago and Philadelphia. As communities continue
- 30:47Speaker 12: to fight and try to unite against gun violence, hip
- 30:51Speaker 12: hop rapper of Flavor Flame is standing up and speaking
- 30:55Speaker 12: out over the life and death situation gun violence in America.
- 31:00Speaker 12: Blave wrote an op ed for Newsweek where he made
- 31:02Speaker 12: a call for the country to put an end to
- 31:05Speaker 12: the quote epidemic of gun violence and ban firearms as
- 31:09Speaker 12: it stands. Blave says, quote, our kids aren't safe. Blave
- 31:13Speaker 12: also said gun protection laws are weak and the current
- 31:16Speaker 12: lack of gun control laws is a quote form of
- 31:20Speaker 12: domestic terrorism.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Steve, you agree, I mean that's coming from Flave. I've
- 31:28Speaker 3: known Flave for years and talked to him personally. He's
- 31:31Speaker 3: really really a cool guy, man, he really is, and
- 31:33Speaker 3: he's just a smart guy, you can tell. So you know,
- 31:37Speaker 3: it's that's his way of going about it. I mean,
- 31:40Speaker 3: we got to do something about these gun laws. But
- 31:43Speaker 3: we're not going to do anything about the gun laws.
- 31:46Speaker 3: And they're never going to change the gun laws because
- 31:49Speaker 3: it's too profitable. So this is a battle that I'm
- 31:53Speaker 3: not fighting anymore with them because they're committed to it.
- 31:57Speaker 3: I just think that we as a people have to
- 31:59Speaker 3: fire and then use more protective measures for ourselves, you know,
- 32:04Speaker 3: how to, how to, how to, how to avoid certain situations,
- 32:08Speaker 3: how to not put ourselves in predicaments. And to young
- 32:12Speaker 3: men out there, remember man, if you if you carry
- 32:16Speaker 3: a gun, you will get into a situation where it
- 32:20Speaker 3: becomes an option mm hmm. And if you use that
- 32:25Speaker 3: and if you select that option, you have now compounded
- 32:29Speaker 3: the problem. And so for me, I don't carry because
- 32:35Speaker 3: I ain't going nowhere that requires me to have a gun.
- 32:38Speaker 2: And then I just pay people who who who want
- 32:42Speaker 2: to carry guns go with me? So yeah, all right,
- 32:47Speaker 2: all right?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Uh as we switch heres? What you had something else
- 32:52Speaker 1: to add?
- 32:53Speaker 2: No, I just thought I should stop there because.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I agree with Tommy.
- 33:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm saying that, but I agree with mom.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Are you okay?
- 33:10Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Right, all right? Moving on switching gears here.
- 33:16Speaker 12: Carnival Cruise Line is trying to shut down the backlash
- 33:19Speaker 12: over their new rules because some black passengers say they
- 33:22Speaker 12: feel targeted.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Now check this out.
- 33:25Speaker 12: One of their new rules is a ban on handheld fans,
- 33:28Speaker 12: not the battery operated fans, but the ones we use.
- 33:31Speaker 1: And you know, boots on the ground where them fans at.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they tied them fans and they tied at the
- 33:38Speaker 2: song over and I am too. I am too. So
- 33:41Speaker 2: now i'ming all that mess on this boat.
- 33:48Speaker 12: So you know, the fans are now prohibited on the
- 33:51Speaker 12: boat due to the loud crack sounds, which Carnival says
- 33:56Speaker 12: should cause injured, could cause injuries in crowded areas. According Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 12: that's what they're saying, according to Club one two. According
- 34:06Speaker 12: to Parade Magazine, Carnival also has new rules that include
- 34:10Speaker 12: curfews for miners marijuana restrictions and bands on bluetooth speakers.
- 34:15Speaker 12: In a statement, Carnival did respond. Carnival said the rules
- 34:20Speaker 12: are intended to promote a more peaceful environment, not to
- 34:24Speaker 12: signal any form of cultural erasure.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Hey, listen to me. This is not targeted at black people.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Listen to me. That should be a curfew for kids
- 34:36Speaker 2: on a cruise run around late at night.
- 34:39Speaker 3: You already just recently had the little girl that fell overboard.
- 34:43Speaker 3: You know, you let those kids go out there. That's
- 34:45Speaker 3: dangerous at night. Secondly, bluetooth speakers shouldn't be allowed because
- 34:50Speaker 3: everybody don't want to hear what you're listening to. Put
- 34:54Speaker 3: your earbuds on and let it and let that be
- 34:57Speaker 3: your connection to your device. So bluetooth speakers should not

- 56:46Speaker 1: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject.
- 56:50Speaker 12: I didn't know my wife hates me. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:53Speaker 12: My wife and I had ups and downs in our marriage.
- 56:56Speaker 12: She hasn't been home in almost two weeks because she
- 56:59Speaker 12: thinks I'm.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Cheating on her.
- 57:01Speaker 12: Her coworker was driving by one of the trashy motels
- 57:04Speaker 12: in town and she told my wife that I was
- 57:07Speaker 12: there with a woman. My wife knows that I do
- 57:10Speaker 12: hvac work on the side, so she should have believed
- 57:13Speaker 12: I was there to fix the air conditioning. I would
- 57:16Speaker 12: not be stupid enough to cheat in broad daylight. I
- 57:19Speaker 12: gave my wife my phone and I let her search
- 57:22Speaker 12: my clothes, car, and computer. She said she can't trust me.
- 57:26Speaker 1: So she left.
- 57:28Speaker 12: Fast forward to two days ago, when I called her
- 57:30Speaker 12: to see if she talked to me. She wanted us
- 57:33Speaker 12: to talk in person, so she came home. She was
- 57:36Speaker 12: acting mean and she would not tell me where she's staying.
- 57:39Speaker 12: She went to the bathroom and I checked her phone
- 57:41Speaker 12: calls and text I saw that she texted her sister
- 57:45Speaker 12: some very nasty stuff about me right before she came over.
- 57:49Speaker 1: She texted that she hates me and she.
- 57:51Speaker 12: Doesn't think I cheated on her because I smelled sour
- 57:54Speaker 12: all the time and my sex is not good. She
- 57:57Speaker 12: texted that she'd been looking for an excuse, any excuse
- 58:01Speaker 12: to leave me, and she's already talked to a lawyer
- 58:04Speaker 12: about a legal separation. When she came back in the den,
- 58:08Speaker 12: I told her that I didn't want to talk anymore,
- 58:10Speaker 12: so she left. I called her sister and I told
- 58:13Speaker 12: her I saw the text messages. She confirmed that my
- 58:15Speaker 12: wife has told her many times that she hates me
- 58:19Speaker 12: and little things that I do annoy her. I would
- 58:22Speaker 12: have felt better if she had said it to my
- 58:24Speaker 12: face instead. Is it best to talk things through with
- 58:27Speaker 12: her and see if I can change her mind? Or
- 58:30Speaker 12: is it best to let her go? Should I try
- 58:33Speaker 12: to save my marriage?
- 58:35Speaker 2: Okay?
- 58:36Speaker 12: To be honest, I'm always a proponent of saving a marriage,
- 58:40Speaker 12: and that's if it's salvagable. Okay, Having said that, I
- 58:45Speaker 12: don't think your marriage is. I don't think you can
- 58:47Speaker 12: save this. I mean, you need something to work with here,
- 58:50Speaker 12: and you have nothing because your wife hates you. She's
- 58:53Speaker 12: already talked to an attorney about illegal separation. You saw
- 58:58Speaker 12: it in her phone messages and her text messages. And
- 59:01Speaker 12: her sister confirmed it as well. I'm sorry because I
- 59:06Speaker 12: know this had to be crushing for you, and what
- 59:08Speaker 12: a way to find out. But what married couple doesn't
- 59:11Speaker 12: get on each other's nerve from time to time? But
- 59:13Speaker 12: this is a little bit different. Okay, your wife wants out,
- 59:18Speaker 12: and I think she should be woman enough to stand up,
- 59:20Speaker 12: like you said, and go face to face with you
- 59:23Speaker 12: and tell you. Although it doesn't matter at this point,
- 59:28Speaker 12: she's taking the cowards way out. But the keyword here
- 59:32Speaker 12: is out out. I think you should get out. I
- 59:34Speaker 12: think you need to let her go because she hates you,
- 59:38Speaker 12: all right, and don't worry, she'll soon find out that
- 59:41Speaker 12: the grass is not greener on the other side. But
- 59:43Speaker 12: hopefully by then it'll be too late. Steve Bell, let
- 59:52Speaker 12: me just about saying this to you.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Why am I laughing already?
- 59:57Speaker 3: I don't know why you would write this and say
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: dear Steve and shehry. You should have just said dear
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: shery because I'm gonna tell you right now. I unlike Shirley,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: I'm finna tell you the truth. And Shirley said which
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: I want to just show you the difference. Shirley said
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: in response to you. I'm always a proponent of trying
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: to save a marriage if it's savable, and that's what
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Sherley said. Here's my tape. I'm not saving a thing.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: I'm gone, especially with a letter like this. I don't
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: know what you trying to save, homie, But Lord, let
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: me help you understand something.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Everybody knows. It's well documented that I am on marriage.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: I have taken full responsibility for the results of the
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: first two. But now let me tell you something that
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: I have also experienced. I didn't know one of my
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: wives hated me.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: I just thought something was wrong. It took me four
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: years to discover that I was hated. I thought, you know,
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: I said something crazy, and I kept apologizing.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: I thought, you know that it was just you know,
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: having a bad day. Four years of.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Bad days, four years of bad days, them ain't bad days.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: She hates you, and it shouldn't take you four years
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: to find that out across some text that validated what
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: you was feeling. But I can tell you right now
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: this marriage is over as far as I'm concerned. Now,
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: you can stay in it if you want to, because
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: your wife thinks that you cheating on her, because a
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: coworker was driving by wanted to trash your hotels in
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: town and saw your call over there and told her
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: that you was over there. And then you got an
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: HVAC company and you work on the side, so she
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: should have believed that you was Daddy fixed the air condition. Okay,
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: sound valid to me. Then he said, I would not
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: be stupid enough.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: To cheat in broad daylight.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Well, sir, people cheat in broad daylight at midnight, in
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: the early afternoon, on the lunch break, on the way
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: to work, in the snack room, on the cigar, in
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: the parking lot, in the car.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Janitor coming up at.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Right after this.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:50Speaker 12: Let's recap Today's Strawberry Letter, the subject I didn't know
- 1:03:53Speaker 12: my wife hates me?
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: No, And my response is I didn't neither, not about you.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: On one of my marriages.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: It took me four years to discovered that I was hated.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: It's a shocking thing to find out that a person
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: hates you.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: I guess it is.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: It did validate what I was thinking of, because it's
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: hard to hide hate. Hate surfaces in a lot of ways.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: So let me just go through this letter right quickly.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: He was at a whole sleazy hotel. A girlfriend of
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: his wife's saw my his car parked at a sleazy hotel,
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: told his wife. She accused him of cheating. He got
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: an HVAC company. He said he was over there doing
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: some work on the air conditions, so she should have
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: believed it. Then he said I would not be stupid
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: enough to cheat in broad daylight. Well, sir, I want
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: to remind you the cheating the courage twenty four seven.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Cheating is a daytime sport, is an afternoon sport. Is
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: in the parking lot sport. It's a sport that you
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: do on your lunch break. It's a break spurt that
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: you do on your cigar break, cigarette break, whe the
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: thought that you do before you go to work, after work,
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: it's happy. I becomes a whole lot happier when you
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: cheat me. There's a lot of times that you could cheat.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Cheat on your boss's desk and cheating on the copy machine.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: There's a lot of times you could cheat on let's
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: stop this. Well, don't say I would not be stupid
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: enough to cheat in broad data like it. When duty calls,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: you must respond to anyway.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I gave my wife my phone. She sewd shit. Fast
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: forward two ladys ago. When I called to see if
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: she talked to me after she she said she can't
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: trust you.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: After she checked your phone, which was clean, and she left.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: So when I called it and see if she talked
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: to me, she wanted to talk in person. So she
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: came over to the house. She was acting mean, wouldn't
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: tell you where she was staying. She went to the bathroom,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: so you checked her phone and text and you saw
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: in her text to her sister, she had some very
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: nasty stuff to say right before she came over.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: Now, all this is hating. She texts that she hates me. Well,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: there you come. Once they say they hate you, you
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: can quit wondering.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: She hates you, and she don't think I cheated on
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: her because I smell sour all the time.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: She hates you.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: I've actually been told I don't like the way you smell,
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: and I babe a shower regularly, and you have very
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: expensive cologne. So I knew that was hate. I knew,
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: I knew good. Hell well, that was hate.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Sure, you've been sitting next to me for twenty five years.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Have I ever stink?
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: No, not at all, Not at all in the morning, No, definitely.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: Not Well, if something happened in the middle of the day,
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: then I might stink after that. Right now, just at
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: work though, She texts me she's been looking for an
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: excuse to leave me, and she already talked to a
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: lawyer about legal separation. I told her I didn't want
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: to talk to you anymore.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: She left.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I called her sister.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: Her sister told me that she'd have told her many
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: times she hated me and little things I do annoy her.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I would have felt better if she'd have said this
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: to my face. Now you wouldn't. So is it best
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: to talk things through with her and see if I
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: can change her mind?
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Or is it best to let her go. Should I
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: try to save our man? You can't save hatred. Though,
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: it's hard to go to counseling for our hatred. I've
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: never hated anybody in my life. I don't know anybody
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: I've ever hated good well, good things.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Well, William, what wait, you thought about it a little more?
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: One person?
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Well, I heard the podcast for the time, and I
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: hated that. That that that that that was very brief,
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: with just a brief moment of hate. Let me retract
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: that statement. I've never hated nobody.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Why are you making it about you?
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Oh, thirty three thousand from me? That was the first
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: person I hated. I look for him for seven years.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: I looked at him for seven years. About that thirty
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: three thousands.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: You weren't married to him. What is this have to
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: do with the letter?
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Fact?
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: And I wouldn't have married him after he stole that money.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: You fell out of love.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: That's how deep hate go. I'm trying to advance you, surely,
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: I'm trying not to let you down. Ask me a
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: question about this letter, and I'm gonna show you the
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: hate in it. Ask me anything you want to about
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: this letter.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: She said that he smelled sour you covered that.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: That's hate. That's hate right there. Nobody smells sour hate
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: for word. It really is your smell sour. That's like

- 1:11:11Speaker 10: if we don't get to go in this. Now here's
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: a great part about it. It's five on five. It's
- 1:11:19Speaker 10: flag football. So they have a list of the people
- 1:11:22Speaker 10: that we should have started on a five on five
- 1:11:25Speaker 10: for America.
- 1:11:26Speaker 11: Now let see if we agree on this.

- 1:13:32Speaker 12: Hour of Man on social Media needs an advice Steve.
- 1:13:34Speaker 12: He says, his girl is insecure. We'll talk about it
- 1:13:38Speaker 12: right after this one more, Steve, Let me get a.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Good cod hoo in Poland? What Polish defensive back?
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: Do?
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: Y'all hell for anybody we name.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:05Speaker 12: Michael on Steve HARVEYFM writes, I really love my girlfriend.
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: She's smart, loyal and one of the kindest people I've
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: ever known, but she has major trust issues and always
- 1:14:16Speaker 12: assumes the worst. She constantly thinks I'm cheating. I'm not,
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: that I think something's wrong with her. I don't, or
- 1:14:23Speaker 12: that I'm about to leave. I have no plans to. Ironically,
- 1:14:27Speaker 12: the only real problem in our relationship is her believing
- 1:14:31Speaker 12: there are problems that don't exist. How do I here's
- 1:14:34Speaker 12: this question, how do I help her feel secure without
- 1:14:37Speaker 12: feeling like I'm constantly being cross examined?
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Well, she gonna have to go to therapy. Yeah, this
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: is not curious because brouh. I don't know if there's
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: nothing you can do right. See, you can't change anything
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: that you haven't done. You, it's hard to It's hard
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: to change something you be accused of that you're not doing.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: What what other action can you possibly take? She has
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: to go and talk to somebody about her trust issues,
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: about the baggage that she's.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Bringing from previous relationships.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Obviously, and talk about how the hurt she's carried it
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: into the next relationship, which causes a bunch of anxiety
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: in her and you. And what is anxiety? Loss of
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: control of two things? Worry about the past and the future,
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: and you have nothing to do with either one of those.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: And once you put the burden of considering everything that's
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: happened to you and everything that could happen to you tomorrow,
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: you finished suffer from anxiety.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: She need therapy, as.
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: I did.
- 1:15:54Speaker 9: I was.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: I did radio just now, I did radio.
- 1:16:00Speaker 12: All right, let's see how long this lasts, all right?
- 1:16:03Speaker 12: Ava on Steve Harvey FM says, I'm twenty five and
- 1:16:06Speaker 12: I still haven't found a job that feels like a
- 1:16:09Speaker 12: good fit.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I got tired.
- 1:16:12Speaker 12: I got fired from my first job out of college,
- 1:16:14Speaker 12: which wrecked my confidence, and the two jobs since then
- 1:16:18Speaker 12: just felt wrong from the start. Either the culture was
- 1:16:21Speaker 12: toxic or the work didn't challenge me. I'm living at
- 1:16:24Speaker 12: home with my and my parents have been supportive, but
- 1:16:27Speaker 12: I'm starting to feel like their patience is running out,
- 1:16:30Speaker 12: and honestly, so is mine. How do I keep my
- 1:16:33Speaker 12: head up when it feels like nothing I try is working.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Well, here's the major problem. You're not living in your gift.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: You're trying to fit into a job, and you're not
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: having any requirements of anything fitting into you. Stop taking
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: jobs just for the pay, because going to work every
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: day care who you are is hard, and there are
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: people who have just managed somehow to make a life
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: of it anyway. But it's very, very challenging to go
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: to work every day, down to a place that you
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: don't like or enjoy. It's hard, and there are millions
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: of people who exist that way. I strongly suggest that
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: you find out what your gift is and live in that.
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: You're never going to be happy doing something just to
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: be doing it.
- 1:17:30Speaker 12: This younger generation they quit if they don't like the job,
- 1:17:33Speaker 12: they'll just quit. We never, We couldn't. We didn't have
- 1:17:36Speaker 12: that luxury growing up. If we didn't like the job,
- 1:17:38Speaker 12: We just had to work at it until we found
- 1:17:40Speaker 12: something else.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: You know. We couldn't use to the top of the
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: food yeah right away, right, we could not just quit.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, like that all you can do what I finally
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: learned how to do. You can have your job sponsor
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: your dreams. You know, what do you mean?
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Go to a job that you don't really care for.
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: It's okay to be uncomfortable. Sometimes it's okay, Yes, you
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: have to get you have to get that way. Sometimes
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: you're gonna have to do some stuff you're uncomfortable doing.
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: That's called growth. Convenience is built through inconvenience. You got
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: to do some inconvenient stuff to eventually become convenient. So
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: take a job that you don't care for, that you
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: don't really like that you're struggling with, get yourself some
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: money and have that money finance your dreams.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: What is it you would really like to do?
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: Save your money to open your business or your company,
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: because you sound like you hard to work with.
- 1:18:34Speaker 12: Yeah, all right, we're I wasn't expecting that we'll have
- 1:18:39Speaker 12: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up.

- 1:26:31Speaker 3: About You ain't never had no bail bottom, boy. My
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: whole closet was bail bottom, all four pair wat pair
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: of ball bottom, Nate.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: What colors?
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: I had a Paisley or burgundy, black and white Paisley
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: paar Oh yeah, I had money green.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: I had a black but I wore a black day
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: earned a lot. I had ironed them too many times.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: Just shiny that pence, uh boy.
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: I knew how to beat post, so I would buy
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: silk like shirts so it looked like it was an outfit.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Yeah, shiny damn hand shiny shirt.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: I gotcha, Polly Uster tan pair Oo. Couldn't tell me nothing.
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: With the platforms you had? Platforms?
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: Did you flag brothers? Eleven dollars?
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: How do you remember all that stuff?
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: Because I had them in a layaway for eight months?
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Are those the ones when you got them out of
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: lay away? They didn't fit anymore.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: That was a pair of pebbles. Now, that was a
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: pair of pebbles. Ten I bought them. I bought them
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: world ward ten and a half. By the time I
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: got my lai away, I was eleven and a half.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: Didn't quite factor that end anyway.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, here's my close remarks. You know, today
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: I want to remind people start appreciating where you are today.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: So many people lose the value of where they are
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: today with the over concern of where they're trying to
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: be tomorrow. So many people lose the joy of what's
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: going on today, being overly concerned with what happened yesterday,
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: those two things, your past and your future, you have
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: no control over. Your past is over and done, and
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: the future is yet to come. You have got to
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: start living in today and appreciating who you are and
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: where you are today, because today was given to you
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: as a present. It was a present from God. That's
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: why they call it the present, because that's what it is.
- 1:29:03Speaker 3: It's a present.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: You've got to be appreciative of what you have and
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: where you are today. If you don't, you will suffer
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: from anxiety. Anxiety is to concern over things you cannot control,
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: and those two things that you cannot control are usually
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: your past and your future. If you stop that, you
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: can reduce the anxiety in your life. Do you know
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: how many times I have been concerned about something that
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: was supposed to happen tomorrow, something I wanted to happen tomorrow,
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: something I expected to happen tomorrow, And then tomorrow got
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: here and didn't didn't go like that at all at all,
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: and all that worry I had put into it on
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: the day before ruined.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: My current day.
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: Wording and concerning myself with something I had no control over.
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: Now that tomorrow is here and it has become the day,
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: and now because it's not going the way I wanted
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: it to, expected it to, or thought it should go,
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: now i'd have messed that day up, dwelling on the
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: fact that it ain't going the way I wanted to go.
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: Do you know how many people live like this in
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: constant state of anxiety and confusion?
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: That is how effective the Lord's prayer is. Give us
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: this day our daily bread. That means we're asking God
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: to provide us with what we need to get us
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: through this day. We as human beings, are only designed
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: to live in twenty four hour increments. We are designed
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: by God to live in the moment today. Now that's
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: not to say that you don't have goals, aspirations, dreams,
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: hopes and all of that, because the Bible also says,
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: right division and make it plain. There are things you want.
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: There are things you're going to petition God for in prayer,
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: and that's perfectly fine. But once you do that, you
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: gotta get right on back to living in today. And
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: today is enough if you handle today the way you're
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: supposed to it's plenty. As a matter of fact, it's
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: gonna be so much to do today that you're gonna
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: need to go to bed.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: Hea done.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: Broke a day up in today and night part so
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: you can at least get some break from the eight
- 1:31:27Speaker 3: hours in the sixteen hours you put in today. Concern
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: yourself with today. Be grateful for today, because today is
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: a gift to you. That's why they call it the present.
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: Think about that, y'all.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: Have a great day. Talk to God today. Would absolutely
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: love to hear from you, y'all. Stay in peace. In
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: the meantime, I'm finna go live mistead.
