- 1:59Speaker 3: You think, Uh, I sure will come on And everybody
- 2:05Speaker 3: you are listening to the voice, Oh, come on, dig
- 2:08Speaker 3: me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:12Speaker 3: radio show, bor bor oh boy. I can't even tell
- 2:17Speaker 3: you man. I've been doing some thinking and and one
- 2:23Speaker 3: of the things that I wanted to mention today to
- 2:26Speaker 3: you as one of the principles of success, being grateful
- 2:32Speaker 3: at all times is difficult to do. Being grateful at
- 2:40Speaker 3: all times is very difficult to do. I find that
- 2:45Speaker 3: to be true with myself. Now there are others that
- 2:48Speaker 3: might be able to do it, but just from talking
- 2:52Speaker 3: and listening and living and learning, being grateful at all
- 2:57Speaker 3: times is difficult to do. But it's necessary because it's
- 3:03Speaker 3: such an act of faith in knowing that no matter
- 3:07Speaker 3: what's going on, it's going to be all right. And
- 3:11Speaker 3: it's hard to see that when things are not going
- 3:16Speaker 3: in your favor, when things have turned so dramatically the
- 3:21Speaker 3: other way, and it seems as though you're the only
- 3:24Speaker 3: one in the situation where you're involved with other people,
- 3:28Speaker 3: or someone got an accusation against you falsely, or somebody
- 3:32Speaker 3: trying to do something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case
- 3:36Speaker 3: may be. When it's happening to you, it does appear
- 3:40Speaker 3: to you that, oh, my goodness, man, this is horribly
- 3:45Speaker 3: one sided.
- 3:47Speaker 6: So it is difficult.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It's hard to do to be grateful at all times,
- 3:52Speaker 3: but it's so necessary. And I just want to point
- 3:56Speaker 3: out a couple of things to you. First of all,
- 4:00Speaker 3: the difficulty in being grateful in hard times is that
- 4:05Speaker 3: number one, the present circumstances. Oftentimes it is just so
- 4:10Speaker 3: pressing and so overwhelming that a lot of your energy
- 4:14Speaker 3: is devoted to trying to come up with the solution
- 4:17Speaker 3: for that, or trying to muster the strength to whether
- 4:21Speaker 3: the storm, or trying to just brace yourself to try
- 4:24Speaker 3: to get through it, and in doing that, you don't
- 4:28Speaker 3: It's hard to be grateful. It's hard to be grateful
- 4:32Speaker 3: in pain, and I know it is. But here is
- 4:36Speaker 3: the trick for me. This is what I've had to
- 4:40Speaker 3: learn how to do, and I guess it takes practice
- 4:44Speaker 3: to get here. It's not nothing you just start doing
- 4:47Speaker 3: right away. You got to practice it in small increments
- 4:50Speaker 3: to really get it. What I've always had to say
- 4:52Speaker 3: to myself and what I've learned to say to myself
- 4:55Speaker 3: is this is happening to me because God is working
- 5:00Speaker 3: me through something. This is happening to me because it's
- 5:05Speaker 3: some form of tests that I have to pass in
- 5:08Speaker 3: order to graduate to the next grade, and that in
- 5:12Speaker 3: order to be allowed to move to the next level.
- 5:15Speaker 3: This is happening to me because there's something I need
- 5:19Speaker 3: to purge my life, of my body, of my spirit,
- 5:24Speaker 3: of something's purging in me. And when you purge something,
- 5:28Speaker 3: it's it's painful. You know, It's like a person getting
- 5:31Speaker 3: off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've been told and
- 5:37Speaker 3: every documentary I've ever watched it it's an agonizing process
- 5:42Speaker 3: to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to pull away after
- 5:46Speaker 3: you've been doing something so long. And so I know
- 5:51Speaker 3: that this process is tough when you're going through some pain,
- 5:56Speaker 3: but when you're purging your system, when you when you're
- 6:01Speaker 3: having to pass a test, when you're about to make,
- 6:05Speaker 3: when you're being made ready for the next level, that
- 6:09Speaker 3: moment right in there, in realizing that that's what's happening,
- 6:13Speaker 3: that's where you find the gratitude. That's where I found
- 6:17Speaker 3: the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining this correctly. I'm gonna
- 6:20Speaker 3: keep trying until I get it. But that's where you
- 6:23Speaker 3: find the gratitude. The second part of it is.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Is that.
- 6:30Speaker 3: God has never left me in all the things I've done,
- 6:34Speaker 3: in all the mistakes I've made, all the lies I've told,
- 6:39Speaker 3: all the situations I've gotten myself into from being greedy
- 6:44Speaker 3: and wanting too much for me at the expense sometimes
- 6:51Speaker 3: of other people, not doing it deliberately or in a
- 6:56Speaker 3: vindictive way, because I've never had that spirit. I'm not
- 6:59Speaker 3: a thing addictive or mean person, but sometimes in my life,
- 7:04Speaker 3: in wanting to do what I wanted to do, I
- 7:08Speaker 3: didn't totally weigh out the cause and effect of the
- 7:11Speaker 3: other person. I mean, can I just be real with
- 7:14Speaker 3: you with that? I mean, how many times we'd bene
- 7:16Speaker 3: all done that? Look, it doesn't it don't make you
- 7:18Speaker 3: a bad person. You know, good people do bad things
- 7:23Speaker 3: all the time. I just happened to have come to
- 7:26Speaker 3: the realization that unknowingly and and not and not with
- 7:34Speaker 3: malice intent towards a person, I've hurt people looking at
- 7:39Speaker 3: something I wanted to do without really looking at what
- 7:44Speaker 3: the cause and effect would be on the other person.
- 7:48Speaker 3: So in doing some of these things, I've created situations
- 7:51Speaker 3: for myself. But God, through his grace and mercy, has
- 7:55Speaker 3: allowed me to even get beyond that. So what I'm saying,
- 8:00Speaker 3: God has never left me in spite of myself. He's
- 8:03Speaker 3: always gotten me through. So that's the other part of
- 8:07Speaker 3: it too. See that no matter what you're going through,
- 8:10Speaker 3: you've got to understand that God has always gotten you
- 8:13Speaker 3: through it now has any Now that may not be
- 8:15Speaker 3: the way you want it or the way you liked,
- 8:17Speaker 3: But guess what, you can't do wrong and not pay
- 8:21Speaker 3: for that. Now that that's not how this works, That's
- 8:24Speaker 3: never going to be the case. But the great thing
- 8:26Speaker 3: about God is he fires warning shots at us all
- 8:29Speaker 3: the time. He gives us an opportunity to stop. You know,
- 8:33Speaker 3: He don't fully punish us right away every time we
- 8:36Speaker 3: do something wrong, now does it? You know eventually you're
- 8:39Speaker 3: going to get caught doing whatever it is you're doing.
- 8:42Speaker 3: You do understand that, don't you. But the first time,
- 8:46Speaker 3: that close call, that was a warning shot for you
- 8:49Speaker 3: to stop. Look, I know you're not perfect. I know
- 8:51Speaker 3: we all sinners down here, so I know you're gonna
- 8:54Speaker 3: make mistakes.
- 8:55Speaker 2: One time.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I know you was looking at her when you weren't
- 8:57Speaker 3: supposed to. I know you said something to him when
- 8:59Speaker 3: you wasn't supposed to. I know you got with her
- 9:02Speaker 3: when you know you wasn't supposed to. And I know
- 9:05Speaker 3: you got with him when you know you wasn't supposed to.
- 9:07Speaker 3: So I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm a
- 9:08Speaker 3: fire warning shot. And maybe you slow your roll this time,
- 9:12Speaker 3: but we keep on though. See see, see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 3: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:18Speaker 3: you know, we get caught. Now, Oh Lord, have mercy,
- 9:22Speaker 3: I won't out of this.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Well see, you done dug this hole pretty deep, and
- 9:26Speaker 3: he gonna get you out. But it's some things that's
- 9:29Speaker 3: got to go down now because you didn't pay attention
- 9:32Speaker 3: to the warning shot. See, had you stopped the first time,
- 9:34Speaker 3: you felt bad about it and said you wasn't gonna
- 9:37Speaker 3: do it no more. The situation wouldn't be as critical,
- 9:40Speaker 3: but because we don't stop, and we go again.
- 9:43Speaker 6: But God always forgives, He always allows us to get
- 9:49Speaker 6: back up again. He always gives us a mercy. He
- 9:53Speaker 6: always gives us his grace. He always does that.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Show, ladies and gentlemen. Right now, it's a new day.
- 10:05Speaker 3: It's a new opportunity, a new blessed, a new chance.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Let's get it right today. Let's start off with gratitude.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You start off with your gratitude. Gratitude affects your attitude.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Once you affect your attitude, the direct correlation with your altitude,
- 10:19Speaker 3: I call it the tudes. Let's get your tudes in order.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Shelty Strawberry call it for Reil Mississippi,
- 10:25Speaker 3: Monica Junior, and the legend that is Nephew Tommy as always.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Quandary and a plethora of mental thoughts and they all
- 10:36Speaker 3: stem from Juli Junior.
- 10:39Speaker 2: What is it today?
- 10:40Speaker 8: Well, you know, unc man, I was thinking about this, Uncle,
- 10:43Speaker 8: and I just want to tell you, man that I
- 10:45Speaker 8: don't feel like the team really appreciate you as much
- 10:48Speaker 8: as we should.
- 10:49Speaker 9: You know, we really should. Yeah, we go yeah, we
- 10:52Speaker 9: really should. See here, we can see the ungratefulness right there.
- 10:55Speaker 9: See see he see how fast show up?
- 10:58Speaker 7: But we right there just.
- 11:06Speaker 9: Saying is there anything we can do?
- 11:10Speaker 2: Up?
- 11:13Speaker 9: Is there anything we could do for you? That's all
- 11:15Speaker 9: I'm saying. This is something you want us to do
- 11:17Speaker 9: for you?
- 11:17Speaker 2: We should I should be what you need to do
- 11:21Speaker 2: for what we see that you don't.
- 11:24Speaker 9: You see this here?
- 11:26Speaker 8: One question and y'all all upset because y'all don't appreciate
- 11:29Speaker 8: Uncle Steve like I do.
- 11:31Speaker 9: See that's that's why you do not see see that,
- 11:38Speaker 9: see this, This is what I'm talking about.
- 11:39Speaker 2: See that.
- 11:40Speaker 9: This is all I'm saying.
- 11:42Speaker 8: I think we should just do something wonderful for you,
- 11:44Speaker 8: just say we'll just say thank you.
- 11:45Speaker 9: We appreciate you.
- 11:46Speaker 8: And I don't feel like you they appreciate you. You
- 11:48Speaker 8: can see for yourself as you can see.
- 11:52Speaker 10: Tell you what trying to run away with him? Definitely
- 11:55Speaker 10: wouldn't try to run away from okay.
- 12:00Speaker 2: The slave? Oh yeah, oh yeah, wouldn't have.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Left with him.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Ain't nowhere here Me and Harry would have left with him.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I'm talking about it.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Do you say it?
- 12:09Speaker 3: See JR. I haven't lived as long as I have.
- 12:17Speaker 3: I've learned to uh not have expectations of others.
- 12:23Speaker 2: There Wig, you will.
- 12:24Speaker 11: Be see right there finish it.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You know, you got certain people, Junior that want to
- 12:32Speaker 3: be a victim, and you just you know, as I
- 12:39Speaker 3: sit here, I ain't borrowed no money from him.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Him, ain't say the same thing him him.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I ain't never used nobody's house through parties or nothing
- 12:56Speaker 3: like that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Him.
- 12:58Speaker 3: So it's not It means so who has wanted or
- 13:03Speaker 3: expected anything from anybody? It missed me, But there have
- 13:08Speaker 3: been things expected of me. And so with that, I
- 13:12Speaker 3: just go on and live my life the way I
- 13:14Speaker 3: have in this humble fashion of yeah, you know, humility,
- 13:20Speaker 3: gracious humility.
- 13:22Speaker 7: This fuck so wow for the hatred, thanks a lot,
- 13:27Speaker 7: Jor Yeah.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Your hatred to continue.
- 13:30Speaker 7: You need some money and we need a couple of
- 13:34Speaker 7: dollars coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:37Speaker 7: we will hear from the nephew as he runs that
- 13:40Speaker 7: prank back. Come here, Junior, boy bye, you're listening hard
- 13:47Speaker 7: morning show and it's time now for the nephew to
- 13:50Speaker 7: run that prank back.
- 13:51Speaker 10: What you got for us, neph We got to deal
- 13:53Speaker 10: with this napping hand. We got to there's no way
- 13:55Speaker 10: around it. Let's get into a cat dog napping half.
- 13:58Speaker 7: That's why you're bald.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Run that big handbag.
- 14:02Speaker 9: Hello.
- 14:02Speaker 12: Hello, trying to get Francis.
- 14:04Speaker 2: This is she.
- 14:05Speaker 12: Hey Francis, how you doing. My name is Darryl. Our
- 14:08Speaker 12: kids they go to our together. Oh yeah, yeah, your
- 14:12Speaker 12: daughter's Kaitlyn, right, Yes, okay, my son is dj Dale Junior.
- 14:16Speaker 12: They I think I may have met you at the
- 14:18Speaker 12: beginning of the school year. You remember meeting me, Daryl Dell?
- 14:21Speaker 13: Oh, I met a lot of people, but I'm sorry
- 14:24Speaker 13: I can't place you right now.
- 14:25Speaker 12: Okay, I no problem. Hey listen, I was getting a call.
- 14:29Speaker 12: You know, there's only a handful of black kids at
- 14:32Speaker 12: the school, you know, being a private school and all
- 14:35Speaker 12: and U we the black parents. We all got together
- 14:39Speaker 12: and had a meeting a couple.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Of nights ago.
- 14:41Speaker 13: Okay, you said all the black parents.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Okay, I wasn't there.
- 14:44Speaker 13: Why wasn't I called?
- 14:45Speaker 12: Uh, Well, we actually had a meeting about your daughter, Kaylyn.
- 14:49Speaker 13: Well what about Kaylyn? Is she is there a problem
- 14:52Speaker 13: at school that she's cleaning or something. I don't even
- 14:54Speaker 13: know about what's going on with?
- 14:56Speaker 12: Well? Actually were you know, we feel privileged to be
- 14:59Speaker 12: you know. You know, like I said, there's only a
- 15:01Speaker 12: handful of blacks, and we try to carry ourselves in
- 15:03Speaker 12: a dignified way, our presence, our attitude, the way we
- 15:07Speaker 12: handle ourselves. And you know, Kayla's doing very good in
- 15:11Speaker 12: school from what I understand, and very nice with all
- 15:13Speaker 12: the rest of the kids. He's getting along. That's not
- 15:15Speaker 12: the problem. What we're trying to get is the grooming
- 15:20Speaker 12: of Kaitlin. You know, Kaylen has these braids, and what
- 15:23Speaker 12: we were trying to do is give you know, we
- 15:25Speaker 12: had a meeting about it. We want to hold on,
- 15:27Speaker 12: hold on, holder.
- 15:29Speaker 13: Did you just say her grooming something wrong with her grooming?
- 15:32Speaker 12: Well, it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know
- 15:34Speaker 12: the kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know,
- 15:37Speaker 12: we want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity.
- 15:41Speaker 12: The way we carry ourselves. We want to be, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 12: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polish. We would really
- 15:48Speaker 12: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 15:50Speaker 12: braided up. You know, the union that kind of gives
- 15:54Speaker 12: off a ghetto type of look to it, and that's
- 15:56Speaker 12: what we're trying to avoid.
- 15:58Speaker 13: Are you crazy? It's something wrong with you. You don't.
- 16:02Speaker 13: First of all, how the hell you get my number?
- 16:04Speaker 13: If you couldn't call me for the meeting, why are
- 16:06Speaker 13: you calling me nothing?
- 16:07Speaker 12: Well, like I said, man, the meaning was to get
- 16:09Speaker 12: the general consensus on where all the parents feel in
- 16:11Speaker 12: the same way about your daughter and her braids. You know,
- 16:14Speaker 12: we're just trying to keep everything class here. When it
- 16:17Speaker 12: comes to the blacks that attending school. There's only ten
- 16:19Speaker 12: of us, you know, ten children attending.
- 16:22Speaker 13: I tell you what you can attend, you could. What
- 16:24Speaker 13: you can attend is to is this one hanging up
- 16:26Speaker 13: in your face? You tell the parents, all of them
- 16:30Speaker 13: for me. Y'all can go straight and hit romp bottom
- 16:33Speaker 13: out of hell talking about my child and her braids.
- 16:35Speaker 13: Her braids are ethnic, they are nice. She is wet
- 16:38Speaker 13: and rooms and I don't know how in the hell
- 16:40Speaker 13: you got my telephone number. But tell all the parents
- 16:43Speaker 13: for me, the kids to crack of mine, you know what.
- 16:46Speaker 12: Listen, First of all, I don't like the way that
- 16:47Speaker 12: you're talking to me. Okay. I carry myself with class,
- 16:50Speaker 12: with dignity. I'm spitting polished man.
- 16:56Speaker 13: Subject of.
- 16:59Speaker 12: You call me, Yeah, acting just as ghetto as her hairstyle, and.
- 17:02Speaker 13: Let me say something real ghetto to your Okay, you
- 17:06Speaker 13: and all parents can hit rocks some out of hell.
- 17:09Speaker 13: Don't call me no more.
- 17:10Speaker 12: We know like this.
- 17:11Speaker 13: This is ignorant. I'm far beyond this. My child is
- 17:15Speaker 13: well groomed. She is going to go to that school.
- 17:17Speaker 13: As a matter of fact, as much money as it
- 17:19Speaker 13: costs to go there to y'all should have been meeting
- 17:21Speaker 13: on how we can get together and pay the tuition.
- 17:23Speaker 13: How about that?
- 17:25Speaker 12: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 17:26Speaker 12: you've got a problem taking her brains down and wearing
- 17:28Speaker 12: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 17:30Speaker 12: classy than what she looks right now. It's a pathetic
- 17:33Speaker 12: look that she's having right now.
- 17:35Speaker 13: You know what I don't. What's your hair look like?
- 17:37Speaker 13: Take a picture of your self and send it to me,
- 17:39Speaker 13: texted to me since you get the Folkes phone numbers
- 17:41Speaker 13: and give.
- 17:42Speaker 12: It to you.
- 17:42Speaker 13: Take a picture of yourself and text it to me.
- 17:44Speaker 13: I bet you you look like who would have taught it.
- 17:47Speaker 13: My daughter's braids are gonna stay up for the rest.
- 17:49Speaker 14: Of the year.
- 17:50Speaker 13: As a matter of fact, we ain't gonna even rebrate it.
- 17:53Speaker 13: It's gonna stay that way so it can be mad
- 17:54Speaker 13: at and represent that's what we're gonna do.
- 17:57Speaker 12: Francis, listen, I don't want to argue. I just want
- 17:59Speaker 12: to call and see if we could actually, you know,
- 18:02Speaker 12: come to a medium on this. Do you think that
- 18:04Speaker 12: there's a possibility that I mean, when I'm picking up
- 18:08Speaker 12: DJ tomorrow after school, would it would it be all
- 18:11Speaker 12: right if I picked up little Kayla and brought her
- 18:15Speaker 12: home and let my wife do our hair.
- 18:17Speaker 13: Please? I wish he would pick my start up and
- 18:22Speaker 13: see what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my
- 18:24Speaker 13: husband him to come over your house and whoop your
- 18:27Speaker 13: after he braves. Yo, I wish you would pick up
- 18:30Speaker 13: my dot. I'll call the police on As a matter
- 18:33Speaker 13: of fact, you're gonna have to call the police on
- 18:35Speaker 13: me and my steward and see what happens.
- 18:38Speaker 12: Ma'am. I'm just trying to get some class here. That's
- 18:40Speaker 12: all we wanted. We're not wanting to fight with you.
- 18:42Speaker 12: It's just the blacks here. We think that we want
- 18:45Speaker 12: a little bit more classy look of the way we
- 18:47Speaker 12: are groom. That's the only thing we're looking for.
- 18:50Speaker 13: Only person who's gonna be taking the classes when we

- 29:22Speaker 7: I did so much sugar honey iced tea in my life.
- 29:25Speaker 7: I had my nipples out, I have my panties out.
- 29:28Speaker 7: But now those are the things I guess as a mom,
- 29:32Speaker 7: as an evolved young lady, that I feel like I
- 29:34Speaker 7: would never do. I'm just like, oh my god, I
- 29:37Speaker 7: really did that. Rihanna, of course, has two sons with
- 29:40Speaker 7: rapper Asap Rocky, And so here's the question, Steve, do
- 29:43Speaker 7: you do you ever look back at some of your
- 29:46Speaker 7: fashion choices and, uh, you know, ever think I wore that.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Blue cheese on your side.
- 29:59Speaker 10: Had.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Every last one of them big ass and zoots suits,
- 30:05Speaker 3: every last one of them costume looking ass out fishing,

- 30:22Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 30:22Speaker 11: No regrets, no regrets, no regrets.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Made the whole NBA draft looked like it was.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Trendsetter.
- 30:33Speaker 3: I'm reading Jalen Rose, Neil walk across the stage in
- 30:36Speaker 3: the first place, Camillo, Anthony, all of them, everybody up
- 30:42Speaker 3: in there. Man, I made all them big ass suits
- 30:44Speaker 3: famous on the Apollo. Now I represented Cleveland, Detroit, Philly, Haulling,
- 30:52Speaker 3: Saint Louis, I represented all right.
- 30:55Speaker 7: So that's a good thing on it, all right, So
- 31:01Speaker 7: moving on to NEOs.
- 31:02Speaker 11: I had kept some of them pants, cause not.
- 31:08Speaker 2: What you do with them. They gave all the suits away.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Man, it hurt my heart now all in big as
- 31:13Speaker 3: pants back. I just caught a Berry Gucci pant the
- 31:15Speaker 3: other day, just like the same.
- 31:17Speaker 7: Save the money you could have saved, all right, Moving on,
- 31:26Speaker 7: So Neo shocked his fans after he confirmed to a
- 31:30Speaker 7: TMZ reporter that he has two girlfriends. After he was
- 31:33Speaker 7: spotted out with two beautiful women, Neo was asked if
- 31:37Speaker 7: he thought polygamy should be legalized, and he said that
- 31:40Speaker 7: people should do whatever the heck they want to do.
- 31:42Speaker 7: He stated that he's never been in a situation like
- 31:45Speaker 7: this before when he when he was asked if he
- 31:49Speaker 7: would recommend polygamy to others, Neo said, nope, I don't
- 31:54Speaker 7: recommend anything to anybody. What works for me might not
- 31:57Speaker 7: work for you.
- 31:58Speaker 2: So here's a question for you. Shoal might not. Shoal
- 32:03Speaker 2: might not said that. That's one thing he said for damn.
- 32:08Speaker 7: So do you think polygamy, which of course is being
- 32:11Speaker 7: married to more than one woman one person, would that
- 32:14Speaker 7: work for you? You got my house.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I don't work at my house.

- 32:52Speaker 7: walking the pitch together.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Yeah, should meet the picture. Let me see they're all
- 32:57Speaker 2: three holding hands.

- 33:01Speaker 1: I think it was at the grove in l.
- 33:03Speaker 3: At about twenty eight. Yeah, I'll sink back in the day.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Oh hell yeah, really when I had nothing to lose,

- 33:22Speaker 3: to find two women that wanted me it the same day.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you did it at the same time.
- 33:31Speaker 3: I was just trying to find somebody, but now won't
- 33:37Speaker 3: meet twenty eight walk holding hands.
- 33:39Speaker 7: Hey yeah, he was only doing it.

- 36:01Speaker 7: on a podcast and made the most disrespectful statement ever.
- 36:06Speaker 7: He said, the one person that he would like for
- 36:09Speaker 7: his wife, him and his wife to have sex with
- 36:11Speaker 7: as in a threesome, would be the former First Lady,

- 53:42Speaker 10: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:44Speaker 10: We got it for you here. It is strawberry letter.
- 53:47Speaker 7: Thank you nephew. Subject He's not meeting my basic needs.
- 53:51Speaker 7: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married for seven years, but
- 53:54Speaker 7: we are separated. My husband saw text messages and pictures
- 53:58Speaker 7: I sent to another man, and he didn't try to
- 54:00Speaker 7: work things out with me and see why I was
- 54:02Speaker 7: involved with someone else. I have had a boyfriend for
- 54:06Speaker 7: a few months and he is a great lover and
- 54:08Speaker 7: an excellent provider. I didn't have to ask for a thing.
- 54:12Speaker 7: I don't have to ask for a thing or lift
- 54:14Speaker 7: a finger when I'm around him. He knows how to
- 54:16Speaker 7: treat a woman. My husband, on the other hand, would
- 54:19Speaker 7: get upset and call me trifling if I asked him
- 54:22Speaker 7: to put gas in my car or wash it for me.
- 54:24Speaker 7: My husband didn't care if I was happy with our
- 54:27Speaker 7: sex life or not. He only cared if his needs
- 54:30Speaker 7: were being met. My boyfriend has me meet him at
- 54:33Speaker 7: the gas station once a week and he pumps my gas.
- 54:36Speaker 7: He also looks me in the eyes during intimacy, and
- 54:39Speaker 7: he checks on me to make sure I'm having a
- 54:42Speaker 7: good time. I brought all of this up to my
- 54:44Speaker 7: husband and it only made him mad, and he told
- 54:47Speaker 7: me I can keep my boyfriend because he's divorcing me.
- 54:50Speaker 7: After two weeks of having the house to myself, I
- 54:53Speaker 7: get lonely. I got lonely and decided to ask my
- 54:56Speaker 7: husband if he would have if he would like to
- 54:59Speaker 7: talk talk to someone and try to get our marriage
- 55:02Speaker 7: back on track. He agreed, but counseling didn't work because
- 55:06Speaker 7: we went to a Christian woman that had been cheated
- 55:09Speaker 7: on and mistreated by a few men. So she took
- 55:12Speaker 7: my husband's side and told him he did right by
- 55:15Speaker 7: leaving me. Look, I know I'm wrong, but I'm not
- 55:19Speaker 7: going to short change myself and be miserable, especially now
- 55:22Speaker 7: that I know what being with the real man is like.
- 55:25Speaker 7: My boyfriend wants me to file for divorce, but I
- 55:29Speaker 7: want my husband to file so I won't be the
- 55:31Speaker 7: bad guy. Is my marriage really over? Or can we
- 55:34Speaker 7: work past this? What that's your marriage over? Did you
- 55:40Speaker 7: read this? You know you're sending text messages to another man.
- 55:45Speaker 7: You've been separated for quite a while. You know, you've
- 55:50Speaker 7: been to counseling that didn't work. You're sleeping with someone else.
- 55:55Speaker 7: You said you like this other guy better. You said
- 55:57Speaker 7: your husband was a selfish lover, didn't take care of
- 56:00Speaker 7: your car, doesn't know how to treat a woman. What
- 56:03Speaker 7: does it matter who files first? You don't want to
- 56:06Speaker 7: be the bad guy, you say, But making the first
- 56:09Speaker 7: move does not make you a bad person. I think
- 56:11Speaker 7: you're confused. You're you know, on one hand, you got
- 56:14Speaker 7: this man who you say you like, and then on
- 56:16Speaker 7: the other hand you're asking can you work past this?
- 56:19Speaker 7: I mean, you know you can give this a try,
- 56:23Speaker 7: but it looks like to me your marriage is over.
- 56:26Speaker 7: Making the first move, like I said, does not make
- 56:28Speaker 7: you a bad person. You are confused, by the way.
- 56:31Speaker 7: What kind of counselor did you guys go to. I've
- 56:34Speaker 7: never heard of a counselor that would tell the husband
- 56:37Speaker 7: he did right by leaving you, especially a Christian counselor.
- 56:40Speaker 7: But Christian or not, she's a bad counselor. And you
- 56:43Speaker 7: guys can go to another one if you choose. You
- 56:46Speaker 7: need to make up your mind what you want. You
- 56:49Speaker 7: are confused because your boyfriend is pressuring you to get
- 56:52Speaker 7: a divorce. Whatever you do, do it for the right reasons,
- 56:55Speaker 7: because that do it for what's best for you in
- 56:58Speaker 7: this situation, not because someone is trying to make you
- 57:01Speaker 7: get a divorce. But yeah, it looks like your marriage
- 57:03Speaker 7: is over, Steve.
- 57:05Speaker 12: You know.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Surely you in your Strawberry letters about eight times. You
- 57:14Speaker 3: have eight endings in your rebuttals. And I find it
- 57:18Speaker 3: fascinating because you're very As a matter of fact, I
- 57:21Speaker 3: happen to agree.
- 57:23Speaker 11: I been to agree with the things you've said. You
- 57:29Speaker 11: know what I'm getting tired of for me and for Shirley.
- 57:34Speaker 3: Y'all stop writing us with all this bs and then
- 57:40Speaker 3: expect us to make some sense of it. What are
- 57:45Speaker 3: you talking about? Why did you write us? Is your
- 57:49Speaker 3: marriage over? It's over at the beginning of the year. Listen,
- 57:54Speaker 3: beginning of the letter, you was married seven years, but
- 57:56Speaker 3: we separated. That's the first line in the letter. Then
- 58:01Speaker 3: then you tell us all through the letter why y'all separated.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Then at the end you want some hope. Hell, ain't
- 58:09Speaker 3: no hope in the damn letter. Let me tell you
- 58:13Speaker 3: what's wrong with you and him? Y'all was married for
- 58:19Speaker 3: seven years, but we separated immediately she tell you why.
- 58:24Speaker 3: My husband saw some text messages and pictures I sent
- 58:27Speaker 3: to another man, and he ain't try to work things
- 58:29Speaker 3: out with me and see why I was involved with
- 58:32Speaker 3: somebody else?
- 58:33Speaker 2: What what he needed to see?
- 58:36Speaker 3: What he needed to work out? He saw the text,
- 58:40Speaker 3: he saw the pictures. You don't text him like that,
- 58:43Speaker 3: You don't send him pictures like that.
- 58:45Speaker 2: So what would work out with you?
- 58:46Speaker 12: Y'all?
- 58:47Speaker 2: It's over?
- 58:49Speaker 11: And he didn't try to see why I was involved
- 58:51Speaker 11: with somebody else.
- 58:53Speaker 13: What.
- 58:56Speaker 3: I've had a boyfriend for a few months. He's a
- 58:58Speaker 3: great lover and an excellent provider. I don't have to
- 59:02Speaker 3: ask for a thing or lift a finger when I'm
- 59:04Speaker 3: around him. He knows how to treat a woman. Okay, congratulations,
- 59:11Speaker 3: What is the rest of this letter?
- 59:13Speaker 6: Faul?
- 59:15Speaker 2: Seems pretty final so far. My husband, on the other hand.
- 59:19Speaker 3: Would get upset and call me trifling if I asked
- 59:22Speaker 3: him to put gas in my.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Car washing for me. That's because your husband don't give
- 59:27Speaker 2: a damn about you. That's all this is.
- 59:31Speaker 3: He don't give a damn about you. My husband didn't
- 59:35Speaker 3: care if I was happy with our sex life or not.
- 59:37Speaker 3: He only cared if his needs were being met. My
- 59:40Speaker 3: boyfriend has me meet him at the gas station once
- 59:43Speaker 3: a week and he pumps my gas. He also looks
- 59:46Speaker 3: me in the eyes doing intimacy and checks on me
- 59:49Speaker 3: to make sure I'm having a good time.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Okay, why we still typing this damn letter? You have
- 59:55Speaker 2: a problem, you found a solution.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Tie out, Tita.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: We'll have part two of your response coming up to
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: today's Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes after it is
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: he's not meeting my basic needs. We'll get back into
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: it right after this. You're listening Morning show? All right,
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: He's not meeting my basic needs.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: I'm so sick of these letters.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: I'm so we got to help the people.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: We can't help these people. I'm not trying to help her.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: I'm just be real what you should. I'm not trying
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: to help her. Matter of fact, she really don't give
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: a damn with her job.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: It ain't ain't my job.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Listen to me, Shirley. You said I've been married for
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: seven years, but we separated. Okay, cool, I know that's
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: usually the beginning other divorce. Very few people separate and
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: come back together very.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: Few, but they did go to counseling.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: So there's a little can't.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Get to that in a minute. This why they got separated.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: My husband saw some pictures I sent to another man.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: He ain't try to work things out with me. Off
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: try to find out why I was involved. Hell, he
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: read the text and saw the pictures. He see why
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: you were involved.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: He read that text.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: I've had a boyfriend for a few months. He's a
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: great lover and exit provider. He know how to treat
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: a woman. My husband, on the other hand, that would
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: get upset and call me trifling if I asked him
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: to put gas in my car or wash it for me.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: That's because your husband don't give a damn about you.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: My husband didn't care if I was happy with our
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: sex life or not. He only cared about his needs.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Your boyfriend meets you once a week at the gas
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: station so he could pump my gas. Okay, you go
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: with your boyfriend. What you're still typing us for? What
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: you want me and Shirley to do. You have a
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: solution to your problem. It's your boyfriend. He also looks
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: me in the eyes and make sure and now to
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: hear the part right here. What a letter turned. I
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: brought all this up to my husband and it only
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: made him mad. He told me I can keep my boyfriend. Yes, okay,
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: you don't see the end.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Wait a minute.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: You told your hus that your man looks you in
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: the eye when y'all intimate. You told your hugs that
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: he meets you once a week to pump your gas.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: You told your husband you ain't got.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: To lift a finger for nothing.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: You know what your husband told you keep your damn
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: boyfriend because I'm divorcing you.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: You don't care.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: After two weeks of having the house to myself, I
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: got lonely. I decided to ask my husband if he
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: would like to talk to someone and try to get
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: our marriage back on track.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: I'm trying to find out.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Who's stupid in this letter and who the fool in
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: this lest because there's two people in this letter. It's
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: a stupid person in this letter and it's a fo
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: the letter. Now, I'm not trying to be judgmental, lady, but.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: You're not like you both of them. It just seemed
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: to me like you both of them. Yeah, you're the
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: stupid person in the food.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: He agreed, He agreed, but counseling didn't work because we
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: went to a Christian woman. Now listen to this, that
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: had been cheated on and mistreated by a few men,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: So she took my husband's side.
- 1:03:31Speaker 11: That don't make no damn sense.
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: All. Here's a woman that's been cheated on and dogged
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: out by several.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Women, and she took her husband's side.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: You know why she took your husband's side because you
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: the one cheated on him. That's why she took your
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: husband's side. You got texas and pictures and sent them
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: to another man. You in here looking deep into his eyes.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: You the one letting him pump yo gass?
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: You the one?
- 1:04:07Speaker 12: Wow? What was that?
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: You the one letting him pump yo? Then she said, look,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: I know I'm wrong. Okay, yeah, why are you writing
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: me and Shirley? But I'm not going to short change
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: myself and be miserable, especially now that I know what
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: being with the real man is Like, well, go get
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: with him.
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: Then she's confused.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: My boyfriend wants me to file for divorce file but
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: I want my husband to file why so I won't
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: be the bad guy? Whoa So you don't be the
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: bad guy? You didn't think when you were sending them,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: texting them pictures. You don't think that would You don't
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: think he was the bad guy.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: You don't.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: You don't. You don't think you was the bad guy
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: when you was letting him pumped yo gas. Don't You
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: don't think you was the bad guy. You don't think
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: he was the bad guy when you set your husband
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: down and threw it up in his face.
- 1:05:14Speaker 11: I got a boyfriend. He pumped my gas, He looked
- 1:05:18Speaker 11: in my eyes.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: He treat me right.
- 1:05:20Speaker 11: He did this right here. He gonna get mad.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: The nerve you lucky. That's all he did, was getting mad.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: You can't take most men into the brink like that.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Let's give this man some credit because he held, he
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: stayed strong, wasn't didn't get physical, took it like a man.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Just say hey, I'm divorcing you get your ragged ass on.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Is my marriage really over?
- 1:05:45Speaker 12: Or?
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Can we work past this? Can I tell you some lady,
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: your husband don't want you don't know? Man won't no
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: woman that been disrespected him like this? Can we work
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: past this?
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: No?
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Man won't know? What'd you say?
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: Should I said? Why did he go to counseling with her?
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: That's the little glimmer of hope. That's no hope he did.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: She went on there.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: She just asked him, let's go to counsel He just said, yeah.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: He went on there and found out he was one
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: hundred percent correct.
- 1:06:16Speaker 11: Yeah, there a noble counseling.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: All right, and don't and don't nobody won't you? You
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: need to go on to see if the board friend
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: for real or not.
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: That's what your comments husband.
- 1:06:27Speaker 11: Don't want your little raggedy behind.

- 1:07:06Speaker 8: led the entire way. Also, Man, the Timberwolves hold off
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: the Suns again to go two oh up on the Suns.
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: I don't know what's gonna happen with the Phoenix. Man,
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: they lost one O five to ninety three.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: They just can't.
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: They got Brandy Beal, you got Devin Booker, and you
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: got durand I mean, they can't put it together right now.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:07:23Speaker 8: Defense for the Timberwolves. Man with Carl of the Towns
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: and Rudy Gobert. Man, they are down in that paint.
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: They're not letting anything get in their basket.
- 1:07:30Speaker 9: They're not doing that.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Well.
- 1:07:33Speaker 11: Look who sounded like a sportscaster.
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: To thank you. I appreciate it. But look at this
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: one here.
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: Man, the Mavericks over the Clippers ninety six to ninety three.
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: Go ahead, Dallas.
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: They ended up Man the Types series at Warner Piece,

- 1:08:04Speaker 8: For information in his knee, but he back, he tripped
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: in he tripped in fifteen, but Paul George be twenty
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: two hard between two. But it wasn't enough to top
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: the Dallas Mavericks as they tie the series at one apiece.
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: I don't know about this series here, uncle, I can't
- 1:08:16Speaker 9: tell you. I can't call this one.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: This one.
- 1:08:17Speaker 9: This is one that's you know, I can see if
- 1:08:20Speaker 9: they keep playing like that, Dallas can pull this off.
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: That that's the closest series. They four and five seeds,
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: so I think they can pull it off the Dallas
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: games as right. I feel that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: But tonight though, tonight, though you got the heat and
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: Celtics and the Pelicans and the thunder that come on,

- 1:08:41Speaker 9: Come on, New Orleans.
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: I just want New Orleans staying there because I want

- 1:16:08Speaker 11: Well, we got that, we got that, we got that

- 1:16:23Speaker 2: You don't let him?
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: Do you like that?

- 1:17:16Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, you're not so handsome, but you little? All right, well,
- 1:17:21Speaker 11: what you mean right there?
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Right now?
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: We'll continue What do you mean by that?
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: What you mean? What right there?
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: Last break of the day, and we'll close out the
- 1:17:36Speaker 7: show with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:17:39Speaker 7: You're listening Morning show? All right, guys, here we are
- 1:17:43Speaker 7: last break of the day on this Wednesday it's been
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: a good day.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: And yeah, that's been fun, Steve.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I got some closing remarks too. It's just some
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: things that I've been thinking about. I wanted to just
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: sort of vent a little bit, but I think I'm
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: saying something that a lot of people are thinking. You know,
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: when it comes to us as a people, I have
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: prided myself, as many of you have, on trying to
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: be a good representative for us because I realize that
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: we are the one race of people that's responsible for
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: the actions of each other. And by that, what I
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: mean is we get blamed when one of us do
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: something that might as well be all of us. We
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: kind of have a way because we know how the
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: world has treated us in society, where if somebody does
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: something that's embarrassing, and we kind of take on a
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: little bit of the shame we embarrass, Like, man, why
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: we can't do no better than this right here? We're
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: the only people that's responsible for each other that way,
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: And I guess, I you know, I guess that's it's
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: hard to bear at times to feel responsible for somebody else.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: Have you ever been at work and somebody come in there,
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: it's a criminal event that happened on TV. I used
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: to work a job with a lot of different races
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: of people. Somebody would do something in Cleveland that made
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: the news, and then we come to work and we
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: be talking about the news event somebody rob the liquor
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: store or something, and go, hey, man.
- 1:19:20Speaker 11: Did you know this guy?
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: Well, no, the hell I know him. He black.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: But you know, they always want to put us in something.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: So we've always had to bear the brunt of each other,
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: and so it has made.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Us become accountable to one another.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: But in this now, in this new tech age, this
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: new social media age, I am watching us.
- 1:19:46Speaker 11: Perform in a way that's hurting ourselves.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: I mean, I just don't understand why we have to
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: go public with everything we think that's negative about somebody else.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: You know, you just s get you don't have enough
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: sense to just watch what you say. You know, my
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: father in law said it all the time, He say,
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: just because you can do something, don't mean you should.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: Just because you can say something don't mean you ought
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: to say it.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: It just don't. It's sometimes, man, you just have to
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: guard your thoughts.
- 1:20:21Speaker 12: You just have to.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: But we in such a free, false society today, nobody's
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: guarding their thoughts, and everybody thinks their opinion is so important.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Now I'm gonna say something to people out here who
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: have these microphones on a daily basis. You know, if
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: you got a radio show like our show, I can
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: only speak for our shoulder. Our show is about entertainment, education, empowerment, enlightenment,
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: and that's an uplift. That's what we're trying to but
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: in a payment, is what we're here for. We try
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: to put a smile on your face and laugh, but
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: we try to educate you too. We try to inform you,
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: we try to empower you, and we try to lift
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: you up. That's our mandate.
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: There are other.
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: Shows whose mandate clearly is not that they mow into
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: tabloid behavior or what's in the news, what's trending at all,
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: like this, you know, And that's okay, that's what they do.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: Some shows are for sports, and that's okay, that's what
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: they do. But man, if you have a platform, why
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: don't you do what you're supposed to do? Now, Look,
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: I'm not saying so much as like Laura Ingram told
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: Lebron shut up and dribble, because no, you can't tell
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: a professional athlete or an entertainer, because you're an athlete
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: and an entertainer. But we are concerned about our welfare
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: as our people and our culture that we can't speak
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: on it, because damn it, we can, but only if
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: you're gonna speak on it in a positive way. We're
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: doing too much negative out here towards one another. Y'all
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: were going about this the wrong way, and we right now,
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: we are our biggest culprit. This last comment that Kanye
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: made about the former First Lady. Come on, man, really, bro,
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: you ain't got nothing else you can do. You're on
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: a podcast, You're supposed to be a genius. You got
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: nothing else you can talk about?
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: Really? I mean, man, do we not have nobody that's
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: special to us?
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: No more?
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: How is it? Man?
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: Why is it that all of a sudden our love
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: is always under attack? You know you ain't happy for
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: Latanya and Samuel Jackson. You ain't happy for Paul Letter
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: and Denzel. You ain't happy for me or mine. You
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: ain't happy for Tommy and his, You ain't happy for nobody, man.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: You ain't happy for Martin and his. You ain't happy
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: for Eddie and his.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: Come on, y'all really, why why you got to try
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: to knock it down, tear it down even when it
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: ain't nothing wrong. Y'all be making up stuff about people's
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: families just because you want some clicks on some likes.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: What are we doing here? This is a person's family.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: You gotta be careful.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:23:16Speaker 11: Let me say this to you. You got to be
- 1:23:18Speaker 11: careful when you run up on a man's family.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: You running up especially this man, care about his family. Now,
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: you better be careful. Everybody gonna take that on site.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: Somebody gonna see you, man, and somebody gonna handle you
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: a little bit different. We need to start being careful, man.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: We gotta start being respectful of one another. What happened
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: to that? Well, now that I said that, I know
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: those days are gone. They're gone, and we're on the
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: sliding board and were going faster and faster down the
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: hill and I don't see no fixed for it. I'm
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: gonna just stay close to God. I strongly suggest all
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: of you do the same thing. Get yourself a relationship
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: with God. So when Satan sent his imps for you,
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: you got some backup, and no better backup than God Almighty.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: That's my only solution for you because we live in
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: a fallen world. Even some of these preachers in the
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: pool pit is preaching negativity. I don't even understand it.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: That's past us on that that all they do is
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: talk about celebrities. Ain't nothing wrong with them, but it's
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: something wrong with everybody else. Hey, man, get a relationship
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: with God, not with people, because God never changes. Hold
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: on to God's unchanging hand. And by the way, talk
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: to God today because he'd absolutely love to hear from you.
