Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Part six of our deep dive expose into the new
- 0:03Speaker 1: indictments coming now from the Durham investigation and the media.
- 0:08Speaker 1: The biggest newsday of the week on Sunday, they started
- 0:13Speaker 1: to move into what we're referring to is damage control.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Liberal media outlets have not been following what some in
- 0:22Speaker 1: the media have decided to start doing, which is to
- 0:25Speaker 1: delete bad information on the erroneous Still dossier. Even the
- 0:32Speaker 1: Washington Post now quietly is now correcting their own reporting. Now,
- 0:38Speaker 1: ABC News, CNN, and MSNBC are among news organizations that
- 0:44Speaker 1: actually relied on the Washington Posts now corrected reporting. Yet
- 0:49Speaker 1: they have not come out and corrected what they told
- 0:53Speaker 1: the American people for virtually two years now. The Washington
- 0:57Speaker 1: Post didn't do it like on a front page we
- 1:00Speaker 1: were wrong or we must correct this. They just went
- 1:02Speaker 1: back to the online stories, and in those online stories
- 1:06Speaker 1: they decided to hit that pause button and delete some
- 1:11Speaker 1: of the erroneous Still dossier reporting that they did. Now,
- 1:15Speaker 1: the Washington Post was the lead on this. Don't forget that.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Remember this is you know, this is Amazon Bezos. They
- 1:21Speaker 1: own this thing, right, This is pure propaganda. And the
- 1:24Speaker 1: liberal media outlets took the Washington Post reporting. Why why
- 1:30Speaker 1: would they do it? Well, they're the Washington Post, the
- 1:32Speaker 1: Washington Post, the same group of people that brought down
- 1:35Speaker 1: the Knicks administration. They're the same ones that did the
- 1:37Speaker 1: deep dive investigation into Watergate. They're the ones that are
- 1:40Speaker 1: you know, the print of the Pentagon papers. They're the
- 1:44Speaker 1: most trusted name in DC. So every other news organization
- 1:49Speaker 1: relied on them. Put it on them. Oh well, the
- 1:52Speaker 1: Washington Post reporting, So therefore we can do what we
- 1:54Speaker 1: want to do now. This weekend, you also had something
- 2:00Speaker 1: else that happened. Representive Adam Schiff went on TV to
- 2:03Speaker 1: take a few slaps. Now I say a few slaps,
- 2:07Speaker 1: because that's really all that it was. It was very
- 2:10Speaker 1: clear that the Biden administration, now with their connections directly
- 2:14Speaker 1: to steal dossier, needed a distraction and kind of need
- 2:18Speaker 1: this thing to go away. And how do you get
- 2:19Speaker 1: to go away? What you do is you say, well,
- 2:22Speaker 1: all right, here's the deal. You need to go on TV,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and we'll get you to go on TV. And then
- 2:29Speaker 1: when you do go on TV, what we'll end up
- 2:32Speaker 1: doing is we'll kind of tell everybody that, well, some
- 2:35Speaker 1: of this was wrong, but you can just say, well,
- 2:37Speaker 1: a lot of it was right, and then we get
- 2:39Speaker 1: to check the box and the media that we covered
- 2:42Speaker 1: the fact that this thing is completely totally full of crap.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's been totally discredited, and you can spend it how
- 2:49Speaker 1: you want to, but we need you to come on
- 2:50Speaker 1: TV because for two years, three years, four years, not
- 2:53Speaker 1: only do we help you sell this thing, we were
- 2:55Speaker 1: a part of the conspiracy to overthrow the will of
- 2:57Speaker 1: the people. So this is what some referred to as
- 3:02Speaker 1: a confrontation. Quote Meet the Press confronted Representive Adam Schiff
- 3:09Speaker 1: on the fake steel Dolcier Democrat Representative Schiff and says
- 3:13Speaker 1: he doesn't regret pushing it. Now, if this is confronting,
- 3:17Speaker 1: then I'm sorry. But they haven't watched their own show
- 3:20Speaker 1: when they're attacking people on the right. Go look at
- 3:24Speaker 1: the venom that was being spewed at Trump for four
- 3:27Speaker 1: years from Meet the Press and Chuck Todd over the
- 3:30Speaker 1: fake reporting. Now, did he come on TV and say
- 3:32Speaker 1: to the American people, we got it wrong. Did he
- 3:35Speaker 1: come on there and say the American people, I'm sorry
- 3:38Speaker 1: that we got this thing so wrong. Did he come
- 3:41Speaker 1: on TV and say I apologize for misleading you, I
- 3:46Speaker 1: apologize to former President Donald Trump for undermining and slandering
- 3:51Speaker 1: his entire administration for the entire time that they were
- 3:55Speaker 1: in office. Of course, not right. Why would you do that,
- 3:58Speaker 1: because if you really are reaching tracting this, and you
- 4:00Speaker 1: really aren't admitting that what you did was wrong, then
- 4:04Speaker 1: you would have no problem saying it this way. You
- 4:07Speaker 1: should start your show by saying, we like to say
- 4:10Speaker 1: here at me NBC News and meet the press to
- 4:12Speaker 1: form President Donald Trump. We are sorry. We got this
- 4:15Speaker 1: story wrong. We relied on the Washington Post, throw them
- 4:18Speaker 1: under the bus for this reporting, and we were wrong,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and we were unfair to you the way that we
- 4:23Speaker 1: dealt with things. We are sorry. You could do that,
- 4:26Speaker 1: You could say that, and then you might have some credibility.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But they're not. Instead, they act like they are the
- 4:33Speaker 1: conveyors of truth and only truth, and so they're going
- 4:36Speaker 1: to ask the tough question, right, They're going to ask
- 4:39Speaker 1: the hard question and go, well, Adam Schiff, do you
- 4:43Speaker 1: regret pushing something that was wrong? That's it, And then
- 4:47Speaker 1: we get to close this book and move on. What
- 4:49Speaker 1: ask you something about the steel dosier because it is
- 4:52Speaker 1: been in the news for a lot of other reasons,
- 4:54Speaker 1: including some questions about its validity. By the way, I
- 4:58Speaker 1: love how he says that some questions about it validity.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It's not some questions, folks. The fact is, and it's
- 5:04Speaker 1: confirmed now. There is no validity to the Steel dossier.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Don't say some questions about its validity. The only reason
- 5:14Speaker 1: why it's in the news right now is because of
- 5:16Speaker 1: the fact that there is no validity to the information.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That's a fact, plain and simple. We wouldn't be talking
- 5:25Speaker 1: about this right now if it wasn't for the German
- 5:27Speaker 1: investigation and doubting the people that created the dossier for
- 5:30Speaker 1: lying about what's in the dossier. Don't don't. Don't sit
- 5:33Speaker 1: there and tell me and think I'm stupid enough to
- 5:35Speaker 1: buy this crap checked out where you say, well, it's
- 5:37Speaker 1: been the news this week for some questioning the validity. No,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it's not even questioning. It's a fact. It's not true.
- 5:43Speaker 1: The Steal dossier is not true. It's the Clinton dotsier.
- 5:46Speaker 1: We need to stop calling it the steal dossier. We
- 5:48Speaker 1: need to call it the Clinton Dotier. Ink some questions
- 5:51Speaker 1: about its validity. I want to play some recent a
- 5:56Speaker 1: sound that you had on the Steel dossia over the years.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Take a listen. According to Christopher Steele, a British a
- 6:04Speaker 1: former British intelligence officer who was reportedly held in high
- 6:08Speaker 1: regard by US intelligence. When you look at just what
- 6:11Speaker 1: has become public, some of the public information is very
- 6:15Speaker 1: much in line with what is reported in that dossier.
- 6:17Speaker 1: The most significant thing to me is that Christopher Steele
- 6:20Speaker 1: may have found out even before our own intelligence agencies,
- 6:23Speaker 1: that the Russians were in fact aiming to help Donald
- 6:26Speaker 1: Trump in the election. As Chair of the House Intelligence Committee,
- 6:29Speaker 1: do you regret giving some credibility to the Steele dossier?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Before hold on, he just says, do you regret giving
- 6:35Speaker 1: some credibility? You didn't give it some credit ability. You
- 6:39Speaker 1: preached it like it was the gospel. You didn't There
- 6:43Speaker 1: wasn't a moment where you said, look, we need to
- 6:45Speaker 1: be careful here, we need to pause here, we need
- 6:47Speaker 1: to take a moment here, we need to step back
- 6:49Speaker 1: and look, there's certainly some concerning issues, but we also
- 6:52Speaker 1: need to check the ability. That's what That's not what
- 6:54Speaker 1: they did. That's not what the media did. By the way,
- 6:57Speaker 1: none of them did this. They all went the completely
- 7:00Speaker 1: opposite direction on this. Don't don't act like this was
- 7:07Speaker 1: a you know, well, we played both sides of it.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You didn't. You didn't play both sides of this at all.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You were one hundred percent all in on it. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: were one hundred percent moving forward with this. And to
- 7:20Speaker 1: sit there and go, well, should you have paused a
- 7:22Speaker 1: little bit? There was no pausing here, Give me a break.
- 7:28Speaker 1: There was zero pause, folks, no pause at all. Don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: tell me there was a pause when there wasn't a pause.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You guys ran with it, and you wanted to run
- 7:38Speaker 1: with it because you wanted to destroy people's lives, and
- 7:42Speaker 1: that's why you did it. You did it to destroy
- 7:45Speaker 1: and to put people in jail. You did it to
- 7:49Speaker 1: overthrow the will of the people and this idea that
- 7:52Speaker 1: you know. Now I'm gonna ask Chuck Todd, I'm gonna
- 7:55Speaker 1: come out of this. You know you're comments. I'm gonna
- 7:57Speaker 1: ask you this question. Do you regret it a little bit?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Give me a break. As chair of the House Intelligence Committee,
- 8:02Speaker 1: do you regret giving some credibility to the steal dosia
- 8:06Speaker 1: before anybody had been able to verify anything in that
- 8:11Speaker 1: A lot of those clips were done before there was
- 8:13Speaker 1: any good verification. Look, there's some news organizations that made
- 8:16Speaker 1: the mistake of publishing this docier without verifying it. That's
- 8:19Speaker 1: a separate conversation with those I love this well, there's
- 8:21Speaker 1: some media organizations. Let's go with all of them, yours included.
- 8:26Speaker 1: By the way, NBC News put the dossier out there,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you're on NBC News right now. You guys ran with
- 8:33Speaker 1: the story, and you ran with it for four years
- 8:35Speaker 1: and use it to impeach the president, to undermine the president.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Now you're trying to separate yourself from it, acting like
- 8:39Speaker 1: you weren't a part of the mob that was trying
- 8:43Speaker 1: to take down Donald Trump, that you weren't a part
- 8:45Speaker 1: of the conspiracy to overthrow the will of the American
- 8:47Speaker 1: people and who they voted for. NBC News was in
- 8:50Speaker 1: on it now, and they're trying to act like they weren't. Listen, Listen,
- 8:54Speaker 1: listen to the way Chuck Todd says this again, patients
- 8:56Speaker 1: that made the mistake of publishing this docier without verifying it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That's a separate conversation with those news organizations. By the way,
- 9:03Speaker 1: NBC News, you really want to act like you were different.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Do we need to go back and look at the propaganda.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Look at the number of appearances that you had from
- 9:14Speaker 1: people that were on your air saying that Donald Trump
- 9:17Speaker 1: colluded with the Russians, The number of guests that you
- 9:19Speaker 1: allowed to come on the air and to sell this
- 9:22Speaker 1: crap and act like this was totally factual when it
- 9:25Speaker 1: clearly wasn't. None of this was factual, and everybody knew,
- 9:31Speaker 1: including you, that was based on crap. And you did
- 9:34Speaker 1: it anyway. You did it anyway, and the reason why
- 9:41Speaker 1: is because you were part of the conspiracy to take
- 9:44Speaker 1: down Donald Trump. That's what you did. Now listen to
- 9:48Speaker 1: the response quickly of Adam Schiff, But you helped give
- 9:53Speaker 1: it credibility. Do you regret it? I don't regret saying
- 9:58Speaker 1: that we should investigate claims of someone who frankly was
- 10:01Speaker 1: a well respected British intelligence officer, and we couldn't have known,
- 10:05Speaker 1: of course, years ago, that we would learn years later
- 10:08Speaker 1: that someone who was a primary source lied to him.
- 10:11Speaker 1: But what I love it there, Well, I don't regret it.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You undermind the president I tates America. You try to
- 10:16Speaker 1: overthrow In many ways you did. You were successful. You
- 10:18Speaker 1: undermined the point where he didn't get reelected. You damage
- 10:22Speaker 1: his presidency to the point where the country was trade
- 10:24Speaker 1: up divided on this, and you guys kept saying he's
- 10:27Speaker 1: a Russian, he worked with the Russians, he colluded with
- 10:30Speaker 1: the Russians. The last election wasn't fair. You guys did it,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and so did NBC News. And for NBC News to
- 10:35Speaker 1: do this interview and act like they weren't a part
- 10:36Speaker 1: of it, give me a break. Liberal media outlets, like
- 10:42Speaker 1: I said, if not followed the lead of the Washington Posts,
- 10:46Speaker 1: they were forced to correct their erroneous steal dossier reporting claims.
- 10:51Speaker 1: They just did you know, little hey updates on their
- 10:54Speaker 1: major stories they had on their website, and the Washington
- 10:57Speaker 1: Post not only corrected, but also removed large chunks of
- 11:03Speaker 1: its own reporting on the anti Trump Clinton doc. Let's
- 11:08Speaker 1: just start calling it that Friday the middle of the night,
- 11:11Speaker 1: admitting quote it could no longer stand by the accuracy
- 11:14Speaker 1: of those elements. Their words, not mine. ABC News hadn't
- 11:18Speaker 1: changed their reporting, MSNBC hasn't changed it. M our CNN
- 11:22Speaker 1: hasn't followed the Post lead on their erroneous reporting. It
- 11:27Speaker 1: still remains uncorrected. The mainstream media was always united in
- 11:34Speaker 1: their unverified reporting for one reason. They were in on
- 11:40Speaker 1: the conspiracy to overthrow the will of the people and
- 11:45Speaker 1: declare that former President Donald Trump was somehow compromised by
- 11:47Speaker 1: the Russians, when reality it was Hillary Clinton her campaign
- 11:50Speaker 1: in the DNC. Here's how Fox had it this weekend
- 11:56Speaker 1: when they broke the story that the Washington Post was
- 11:59Speaker 1: pulling their stories on the Steel Dossier. A major walk
- 12:05Speaker 1: back from the Washington Post a paper correcting and retracting
- 12:09Speaker 1: large portions of two articles based on the now discredited
- 12:13Speaker 1: Steel Dossier. A Post media reporter explaining that the piece
- 12:16Speaker 1: quote identified a Belarussian American businessman as the key source
- 12:21Speaker 1: of the Steel Dossier, a collection of largely unverified reports
- 12:25Speaker 1: that claimed the Russian government had compromising information about then
- 12:28Speaker 1: candidate Donald Trump. Executive editor Sally Buzzby said the Post
- 12:32Speaker 1: could no longer stand by the accuracy of those elements
- 12:35Speaker 1: of the story. Here now to react. Fox News contributor
- 12:39Speaker 1: Joe Concha, Joe, good morning to you. You know, I
- 12:41Speaker 1: described it there as a major correction, But what shocking
- 12:45Speaker 1: to me is this entire story, Joe, has completely fallen
- 12:49Speaker 1: apart as we all knew that it would. It was
- 12:52Speaker 1: largely built upon a falsehood on lies. And I think
- 12:56Speaker 1: it's been relative silence from the mainstream media about this revelation.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I'm amazed will that they even counted on the dossier
- 13:04Speaker 1: in the first place. Right. I'm old enough to remember
- 13:06Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen, this was pitched around to every major
- 13:09Speaker 1: news organization, whether it be Fox News, whether it be
- 13:11Speaker 1: The Hill, whether it be political. I could go down
- 13:13Speaker 1: the list, and almost nobody touched it. Almost no one
- 13:15Speaker 1: except for BuzzFeed and c the NN that got it
- 13:17Speaker 1: out into public domain and off it went. But but
- 13:20Speaker 1: the removal of the parts of the Steel reporting from
- 13:23Speaker 1: this initial report, it's a start, but almost no one's
- 13:26Speaker 1: going to see that. We know that, right, and the
- 13:27Speaker 1: damage has already done. To your point, if the Washington
- 13:30Speaker 1: Post New York Times were truly serious about getting it right,
- 13:32Speaker 1: the pulsers they won would be returned. And you remember
- 13:35Speaker 1: Dan Rathergate Rights two thousand and four, rather than producer
- 13:37Speaker 1: Mary mats And put on a false report on sixty
- 13:39Speaker 1: minutes about George W. Bush's National Guard Service just days
- 13:42Speaker 1: before a tight election, And after that story was decided
- 13:45Speaker 1: to be a crop, it was decidedly proven to be
- 13:47Speaker 1: a croc. CBS conducts a thorough investigation, and rather's fired
- 13:51Speaker 1: along with his producer and mats. No such investigation here
- 13:54Speaker 1: will is going to be conducted by any news organizations
- 13:57Speaker 1: here because there are no real standards anymore, no accountability.
- 14:00Speaker 1: And again, the damage was done. Means to an end
- 14:02Speaker 1: three years of a presidency consumed by this tall tale
- 14:05Speaker 1: conjured up by the Clinton administration. In fact, you know, well,
- 14:08Speaker 1: the liars get rewarded, right. Rachel Maddow MSNBC the biggest
- 14:12Speaker 1: narrative in terms of the megaphone of this narrative, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: we hear now there's a bidding war for her where
- 14:17Speaker 1: CNN is considering hiring her away with a substantial raise
- 14:20Speaker 1: that didn't go through, but now she's even more attractive
- 14:24Speaker 1: to certain news organizations. Adam Schiff gets a multimillion dollar
- 14:27Speaker 1: book deal and still hilariously claims that this collusion occurred
- 14:31Speaker 1: in that book, and he will continue to be the
- 14:32Speaker 1: Michael Abanatti on two thirds of cable news despite him
- 14:35Speaker 1: being completely disproven, because that's just the way it works. Now.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Such a good point, Joe. The damage is done. A
- 14:42Speaker 1: presidential election was swung. Rachel Maddow showered between twenty and
- 14:46Speaker 1: thirty million dollars awarded themselves Pulitzers based upon a complete
- 14:51Speaker 1: fake story. Again, the media not correcting this. They can't
- 14:58Speaker 1: correct it. They're terrified that if they correct it, what's
- 15:01Speaker 1: going to happen If they correct this story, it is
- 15:05Speaker 1: going to be so damning to their credibility that I
- 15:08Speaker 1: think at this point they finally just decided, we'll just
- 15:11Speaker 1: look the other way. What else can we do. We'll
- 15:16Speaker 1: just act like it was true, and then we'll blame
- 15:19Speaker 1: the Washington Post. That's how we'll pull this off. You know,
- 15:25Speaker 1: you look at what the Wall Street Journal said this week,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and it was a brilliant article that they put out
- 15:31Speaker 1: saying that this Steel dossier should be called the Clinton dossier,
- 15:35Speaker 1: not the Steel Dossier. You look at the Washington Post,
- 15:40Speaker 1: the Hill now reporting this morning. Washington Post removes large
- 15:43Speaker 1: portions of two stories and the Steel dossier quote. The
- 15:45Speaker 1: Washington Post Post was forced on Friday to amend and
- 15:51Speaker 1: eliminate major parts of two stories the newspaper did regarding
- 15:55Speaker 1: the Steel Dossier and light of the recent indictment and
- 15:58Speaker 1: new reporting. A story published in March twenty seventeen and
- 16:01Speaker 1: one of February twenty nineteen, So think about the distance
- 16:04Speaker 1: almost two years apart, that connected Source D in former
- 16:10Speaker 1: British intelligence analyst Crystal Steals Dowsier to a Belarus American businessman,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Sergey Milan, were corrected and had portions of the story removed.
- 16:22Speaker 1: An editor's note appeared on each one, providing those of
- 16:25Speaker 1: the articles had been amended. That's it, That's how they
- 16:28Speaker 1: fixed this right. The March twenty seventeen article identified Milan
- 16:33Speaker 1: is sourced and Source E is different in different areas
- 16:36Speaker 1: of steal dossier, including identifying m as source D behind
- 16:40Speaker 1: a claim that Russian intelligence learned that a hotel room
- 16:43Speaker 1: in Moscow once was used by former President Obama and
- 16:46Speaker 1: his wife was defiled by President Trump hire prostitutes. According
- 16:52Speaker 1: to The Washington Post, the Downsier said that Source E
- 16:56Speaker 1: also substantiate the claim. Those of the newspapers said that
- 16:59Speaker 1: those allegations have not been proven true. You think. The
- 17:04Speaker 1: Post also reported on a February twenty nineteen story which
- 17:08Speaker 1: ran with a headline Belarus born businessman sought proximity to
- 17:11Speaker 1: Trump's world in twenty sixteen, discussing the man's involvement in
- 17:15Speaker 1: some business activities of the former president analysts. Du Chenko,
- 17:20Speaker 1: who was indicted earlier this month, helped put together information
- 17:26Speaker 1: for the Steele dossier, which should be called the Clinton
- 17:28Speaker 1: dossier at this point. Dushenko's indictment alleges at the analysts
- 17:34Speaker 1: might have received information regarding these delicious claims in the
- 17:37Speaker 1: twenty seventeen story from an operative of the Democratic Party
- 17:42Speaker 1: from Hillary Clinton and her campaign instead of Milan. According
- 17:46Speaker 1: to the newspaper The Post that it also was The
- 17:51Speaker 1: Post that it was also not clear if Milan was
- 17:55Speaker 1: sourced d in the dossier, based upon her recent review
- 17:58Speaker 1: an interview with one of the two sources cited in
- 18:01Speaker 1: the March twenty seventeen article. So, in other words, the
- 18:05Speaker 1: Washington Post can put this out there and run with
- 18:07Speaker 1: it for years and years and years, and now they
- 18:10Speaker 1: just get the point the being here at something else
- 18:11Speaker 1: to say when we were lied to by multiple sources,
- 18:13Speaker 1: not really our fault. So we're not gonna say we're
- 18:16Speaker 1: sorry to Trump. We're not gonna apologize for misleading you
- 18:18Speaker 1: the readers. We're gonna we're not gonna say that. We're
- 18:21Speaker 1: just gonna say we got duped our bad. As a result,
- 18:24Speaker 1: it created doubts amid the new reporting, The Post writes
- 18:29Speaker 1: and indicated that after the indictment. Regarding the publication of
- 18:33Speaker 1: the two stories, the executive editor, Sally Busby said, according
- 18:37Speaker 1: to the newspaper, we needed to make the corrections. When
- 18:40Speaker 1: asked for common as spokesperson for the Washington Post directed
- 18:44Speaker 1: The Hill Newspaper to an editor's note that was put
- 18:47Speaker 1: on the twenty seventeen story. This is what it read.
- 18:52Speaker 1: The original version of this article, published on March twenty nine,
- 18:54Speaker 1: twenty seventeen, said that Sergey Milan was a source are
- 19:00Speaker 1: parts of a doosier of unverified allegations against Donald Trump.
- 19:06Speaker 1: The account has been contradicted by allegations contained in a
- 19:10Speaker 1: federal indictment filed in November twenty twenty one, and undermine
- 19:14Speaker 1: by further reporting by The Washington Post. As a result,
- 19:18Speaker 1: portions of the story and an accompanying video have been
- 19:21Speaker 1: removed and the headline has been changed. The editor's note
- 19:25Speaker 1: read the original account was based on two people who
- 19:28Speaker 1: spoke on the condition of amenity to provide sense of information.
- 19:34Speaker 1: One of those people now say the information the new
- 19:36Speaker 1: information quote puts engraved doubt that Milan was a source
- 19:41Speaker 1: for parts of the dossier. The other declined to comment.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It continued, So the Washington Post doesn't have to be
- 19:47Speaker 1: held accountable for this, because it's not our fault. Other
- 19:51Speaker 1: people I do us. We just gave you the best information,
- 19:53Speaker 1: stuck with it for four years, undermine the present, try
- 19:55Speaker 1: to overthrow the world, the people, and now we'll correct you.
- 19:58Speaker 1: We're not gonna say we're sorry. Okay, everybody calmed down.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say we're sorry. We're not gonna apologize
- 20:05Speaker 1: at Trump. We're not gonna apologize our readers. We're not
- 20:08Speaker 1: going to run a full retraction on page one. We're
- 20:10Speaker 1: just gonna update the online story. In fact, if you
- 20:13Speaker 1: buy the Washington Post, you wouldn't even know this happened
- 20:15Speaker 1: if you get the real newspaper, because it's not in
- 20:17Speaker 1: the real newspaper. Just so you know, this goes back
- 20:21Speaker 1: to exactly why the Wall Street Journal has now come
- 20:25Speaker 1: out and said the Steel dossier should not be called
- 20:27Speaker 1: the steal dossier, should be called the Clinton dot Cia.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Howard Kurtz on Fox put it this way brilliantly. The
- 20:37Speaker 1: indictment of Igor Danchenko, the key source for the Tarners
- 20:40Speaker 1: Steel dossier that was intertwined with the investigation of President
- 20:43Speaker 1: Trump and Russia triggered this admission from The Washington Post,
- 20:48Speaker 1: the paper set in today's lead story. The allegations cast
- 20:51Speaker 1: new uncertainty on some past reporting on the dossier by
- 20:54Speaker 1: news organizations, including The Washington Post. Yet, despite the enormous
- 20:59Speaker 1: media tension to the Russia investigation, including the dossier, the NBC,
- 21:04Speaker 1: ABC and CBS Evening newscast ignored the Danchenko indictment. Yesterday.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Dan Chenko was charged with lying to the FBI about
- 21:12Speaker 1: false information he fed to former British buy Christopher Steele,
- 21:16Speaker 1: including unsubstantiated and selacious accusations against Trump. Dan Chenko allegedly
- 21:21Speaker 1: fed some of his falsehoods to Charles Dolan, a former
- 21:24Speaker 1: Clinton administration official. The FBI has said it launched the
- 21:28Speaker 1: Russia probe before seeing the Steele dossier, but in a
- 21:31Speaker 1: wire tap application for former Trump advisor Carter Page, the
- 21:35Speaker 1: bureau used the dossier's claims. Fox News covered the story extensively.
- 21:40Speaker 1: There were obvious red flags with the dossier from the
- 21:43Speaker 1: very beginning. For one thing, Christopher Steele was working for
- 21:46Speaker 1: an opposition research firm called Fusion GPS, which was funded
- 21:50Speaker 1: by the Hillary Clinton campaign. CNN and MSNBC did not
- 21:54Speaker 1: cover the story after five PM, except for Rachel Maddow,
- 21:57Speaker 1: who had relentlessly trumpeted the investigation. This report comes in
- 22:02Speaker 1: the midst of a concerted attack on Christopher Steele himself
- 22:06Speaker 1: from Republicans in Congress, their alleging that he was basically
- 22:11Speaker 1: peddling false information, and last night she slams Special Counsel
- 22:15Speaker 1: John Durham's case. The unmistakable impression is that this indictment
- 22:19Speaker 1: is designed to smear Christopher Steele's intelligence reports as things
- 22:25Speaker 1: that were deliberately made up and concocted by rascally Democrats.
- 22:29Speaker 1: The Steel dossier may seem like a mere footnote of
- 22:32Speaker 1: the incredibly complicated saga that once dominated our national politics.
- 22:36Speaker 1: But now that it's wild chargers are being further discredited,
- 22:39Speaker 1: many in the media have lost interest. You want to
- 22:43Speaker 1: know how much they've lost interest. CNN's Brian Skelpter. He
- 22:48Speaker 1: is the guy whose entire job is to police the media,
- 22:55Speaker 1: tell the stories about the media, the big stories that
- 22:57Speaker 1: happen each week. He has a history of ignoring stories
- 23:03Speaker 1: that would make Democrats and liberal news outlets organizations like
- 23:07Speaker 1: his own CNN look bad. It's a bombshell media story
- 23:15Speaker 1: in the media world that the Washington Post had to
- 23:18Speaker 1: go back and correct years and remove large chunks of
- 23:22Speaker 1: its own reporting on a discredited Clinton dossier. Americans, by
- 23:29Speaker 1: the way, rely on CNN right for their news. They
- 23:33Speaker 1: pushed this for four years. I know, I was there
- 23:36Speaker 1: the entire time, fighting back and defending Trump and defending
- 23:40Speaker 1: these ridiculous allegations. CNN's media program is called Reliable Sources.
- 23:48Speaker 1: If you want such show, you wouldn't even know any
- 23:51Speaker 1: of this happened because they ignored it. So roniccket's named
- 23:56Speaker 1: reliable Sources right. They claim to examine their words, not
- 24:01Speaker 1: mine the top media stories every Sunday. So the Washington
- 24:05Speaker 1: Post adding editors notes, amending headlines, and removing sections of
- 24:09Speaker 1: major stories that didn't make the cut when it came
- 24:14Speaker 1: to truth, we're actually cut by CNN. The Post corrections
- 24:20Speaker 1: came as other news outlets, including CNN, have criticized have
- 24:27Speaker 1: been criticized, I should say, for failing to adjust reporting
- 24:30Speaker 1: after the Special Councilderham's investigation the Trump Russia probe has
- 24:35Speaker 1: further discredited the r already shaky dot sier now the
- 24:39Speaker 1: point where people are getting indicted. Reliable Sources Right, which
- 24:44Speaker 1: got a pretty big audience six forty five thousand viewers
- 24:46Speaker 1: last week, granted that was its smallest audience of the year,
- 24:51Speaker 1: ignored the scandal because it made Democrats and CNN look bad.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Instead of covering the post massive and significant corrections because
- 25:02Speaker 1: they were in on this collusion with Russia. CNN and
- 25:06Speaker 1: Sculptor were in on it from day one. They wanted
- 25:08Speaker 1: to bring down Trump at all costs. I didn't care
- 25:10Speaker 1: what lies I had to tell you. Instead, you know
- 25:15Speaker 1: what they did said covering this issue, CNN treated viewers
- 25:21Speaker 1: to segment after segment about Steve Bannon. Yeah, they did
- 25:28Speaker 1: segments about Brian Williams leaving MSNBC. They did a segment
- 25:32Speaker 1: on Steve Bannon's podcast whether or not Americans should believe
- 25:36Speaker 1: inflation headlines even though inflation is real. American journalist Any
- 25:42Speaker 1: Finster being jailed, demere Mark and Britney Spears in a
- 25:46Speaker 1: local newspaper fighting to survive. That is what they reported
- 25:50Speaker 1: on during their media watchdog show Reliable Sources. Skelpter avoided
- 25:57Speaker 1: the significant media story on his program because it didn't fit.
- 26:04Speaker 1: They don't want to tell people that they lied to you,
- 26:06Speaker 1: And they don't want to tell people that Donald Trump
- 26:09Speaker 1: is innocent and that the people that were around and
- 26:12Speaker 1: that were harassed and their lives were being pushed. People
- 26:15Speaker 1: were trying to ruin their lives. That's really what we're
- 26:17Speaker 1: talking about here. People were trying to ruin their lives,
- 26:20Speaker 1: and people's lives were ruined financially. Certainly, they just wanted
- 26:25Speaker 1: to look the other way. That's all they wanted to
- 26:29Speaker 1: do was look the other way. Look the other way
- 26:33Speaker 1: at all costs, and make sure that we never tell
- 26:36Speaker 1: people that we lied because we ultimately got what we wanted.
- 26:39Speaker 1: We got rid of Trump. That was our goal, and
- 26:41Speaker 1: we accomplished it. We did it. That was the objective,
- 26:46Speaker 1: and we accomplished it. Why would we tell you that
- 26:49Speaker 1: the entire thing was a fraud. Why on earth would
- 26:54Speaker 1: we tell you that the entire thing was a fraud.
- 26:58Speaker 1: The same thing they did with d House. By the way,
- 27:02Speaker 1: there's no difference here. Look at how they've attacked written House.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You know, the media is bracing for the closing arguments
- 27:09Speaker 1: in that trial. Why because they know they lied to you.
- 27:13Speaker 1: They said the guy was a white supremacist murderer who
- 27:16Speaker 1: wanted to know as a Trump supporter, even though there's
- 27:19Speaker 1: nothing to back that up. Doesn't matter, right, because this
- 27:22Speaker 1: is what we do now. The media all we can
- 27:26Speaker 1: along was saying the only reason Written House will walk
- 27:29Speaker 1: is because the judge sucks and he's white. That's what
- 27:33Speaker 1: they're now saying. I don't see how anybody can say
- 27:36Speaker 1: that this judge is not biased and is not leaning
- 27:40Speaker 1: in a certain direction. I think that the behavior of
- 27:42Speaker 1: the judge in totality is the problem. Is judge is
- 27:45Speaker 1: an absolute joke. He's been a joke from the very beginning. Clearly,
- 27:49Speaker 1: this guy has biases that are affecting the administration of
- 27:52Speaker 1: this case. I completely agree from my observation that the
- 27:55Speaker 1: judge is entirely biased. The judge is making it pretty
- 27:59Speaker 1: much impossible will for the jury to actually consider all
- 28:03Speaker 1: the facts and come up with a verdict where justice
- 28:07Speaker 1: will be served. You've tweeted and talked about the fact
- 28:10Speaker 1: that the judge is racist, and you think that impacts
- 28:14Speaker 1: how he is managing this trial. He has made a
- 28:17Speaker 1: series of decisions, each one perhaps may be individually defensible,
- 28:21Speaker 1: but in totality lead to the impression of a biased,
- 28:26Speaker 1: racist judge. Bias and racist. So a white guy shoots
- 28:30Speaker 1: people in self defense, A white guy shoots white guys
- 28:34Speaker 1: in self defense, not even not black people, white people
- 28:37Speaker 1: in self defense, and we don't like the outcome because
- 28:42Speaker 1: it's a white guy that defended himself after convicted felons
- 28:45Speaker 1: who had illegal guns pointed the guns at him and
- 28:47Speaker 1: tried to kill him, and he defended himself, all caught
- 28:50Speaker 1: on tape. Well, it's a white racist judge. If it's
- 28:53Speaker 1: a narrative, let's keep going with it on national TV
- 28:55Speaker 1: all day long with his Trump rally cell phone that
- 29:00Speaker 1: is trying to get rid the house a walk, God
- 29:03Speaker 1: Bless the USA ring tone, which is the I love
- 29:08Speaker 1: this right you got the guy's ring tone goes off it.
- 29:13Speaker 1: He's a guy that represents his country, he serves his country.
- 29:18Speaker 1: He has a ring tone that is about God Bless America,
- 29:22Speaker 1: God Bless the USA. And now they say it's a
- 29:25Speaker 1: Trump breading tone. This is how much they hate America.
- 29:27Speaker 1: By the way, this goes back to exactly what I'm
- 29:29Speaker 1: saying connectness with this Clinton story. They hate America this much,
- 29:33Speaker 1: You need to understand that. This is how much they
- 29:36Speaker 1: hate America. They despise America, They cannot stand America. You're
- 29:47Speaker 1: now the worst person in the world, the worst person
- 29:55Speaker 1: in the world if you love America. And if you're
- 29:59Speaker 1: a judge who doesn't convict somebody of a crime that
- 30:03Speaker 1: the media says you need to convict them of, you're
- 30:06Speaker 1: a racist judge and you're a Trump judge, and you're evil.
- 30:09Speaker 1: They've just moved on from the Clinton dossiers straight into this.
- 30:12Speaker 1: This will be the new controversy in Kenosha when when
- 30:15Speaker 1: Rittenhouse and the jury comes back with their decision. If
- 30:18Speaker 1: they don't get what they want, this is what they'll
- 30:20Speaker 1: say for months. So use this as an election issue.
- 30:22Speaker 1: White kid walked, he killed two white people that attacked him.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Nothing wrong with that's called self defense. Judge is auditioning
- 30:29Speaker 1: for the cameras and looking for his next gig on
- 30:30Speaker 1: Fox News. He sounds like he's watched too much Bill O'Reilly.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I mean he's acting like Archie Bunker in there. When
- 30:36Speaker 1: the judge asked the entire room if there are any
- 30:38Speaker 1: veterans here and demands that the entire room clap for
- 30:41Speaker 1: a veteran, and the one veteranan room happens to be
- 30:44Speaker 1: the expert witness coming forth to testify on behalf of
- 30:47Speaker 1: Kyle Rittenhouse. That's an example of a pretty biased courtroom.
- 30:50Speaker 1: How the guy talked about the lunch order. I don't
- 30:53Speaker 1: get it. Asian joke. I don't get it. I don't
- 30:56Speaker 1: know that he even made an Asian joke. Well, I
- 30:59Speaker 1: know that I'm not allowed to judge it because I'm
- 31:01Speaker 1: not Asian. The judge has had so many moments in
- 31:03Speaker 1: this case that bring into question his own biases. Whether
- 31:08Speaker 1: it's the ring tone, whether it's the Asian statement, whether
- 31:13Speaker 1: it's the applause. You mentioned the applause for a defense
- 31:16Speaker 1: witness because he was a veteran. Those things really impact
- 31:20Speaker 1: people's feeling that that this is a courtroom that we
- 31:22Speaker 1: can have to trust him. This guy. Maybe you know
- 31:27Speaker 1: legally he's right about things. I've been listening to the
- 31:29Speaker 1: legal folks, but certainly his demeanor, the way he speaks
- 31:33Speaker 1: to the prosecution, the way he looks at Kyle Rittenhouse
- 31:36Speaker 1: like as his grandson. I mean, come on, America, he
- 31:40Speaker 1: looks at him like he's his grandson. I mean, you
- 31:45Speaker 1: want to talk about insanity. This is the media. Don't
- 31:50Speaker 1: ever trust him. Look at whether it's the Clinton story
- 31:53Speaker 1: or the Rittenhouse story. They do the same thing over
- 31:55Speaker 1: and over again. They decide their narrative and they stick
- 31:59Speaker 1: with it, regardless of the facts. And they don't care
- 32:01Speaker 1: if you burn in hell because of it. They don't
- 32:03Speaker 1: care if you get the death penalty because of it.
- 32:04Speaker 1: They don't care if you get locked up for the
- 32:06Speaker 1: rest of your life because of it. They don't care.
- 32:09Speaker 1: They don't care. I hope every one of you will
