- 2:06Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:10Speaker 1: come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 1: got a radio show. I was. I had my head
- 2:18Speaker 1: down and I was thinking of what I wanted to
- 2:21Speaker 1: say this morning. But it kind of uh, it's kind
- 2:27Speaker 1: of be something I've lived for a long time, and
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know, you know, man for for a long time.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You know, I had a lot of faith in people.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You know. It's strange too, because you know, you know,
- 2:42Speaker 1: my mother was a Sunday school teacher, so of course
- 2:45Speaker 1: I grew up around it, knowing the scriptures and things
- 2:49Speaker 1: like that. Not not a lot of them, but you know,
- 2:51Speaker 1: the ones I retained. But having her as a mother
- 2:56Speaker 1: was what was was a huge helping under standing me faith,
- 3:00Speaker 1: but understanding about faith. But even with that, as I
- 3:04Speaker 1: grew up, I began to put a lot of faith
- 3:08Speaker 1: in people, and um, you know, I figured, you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: just like everybody else, you know, man if I could
- 3:14Speaker 1: just meet this person, or if I could just sit
- 3:17Speaker 1: down with that person, or man if I could just
- 3:20Speaker 1: get this person to hear my ideal, or man if
- 3:24Speaker 1: just if this person could hear my track, or man
- 3:27Speaker 1: if I could just get this in the hands or
- 3:29Speaker 1: somebody in the know. I mean, I'm I was like
- 3:33Speaker 1: everybody else. I thought that way. You know, I actually
- 3:35Speaker 1: thought that if I could get in a certain situation
- 3:38Speaker 1: with a certain person, that if a certain person were
- 3:42Speaker 1: to meet me, that you know, it could change everything
- 3:45Speaker 1: for me. Oh man, Oh how wrong I was? Oh
- 3:50Speaker 1: how wrong I was? And how how long did I
- 3:54Speaker 1: spend feeling that way? And how many of you out
- 3:57Speaker 1: there possibly have felt that way before? Like you know,
- 4:00Speaker 1: like even in a relationship, this is the person for me,
- 4:04Speaker 1: and you know, you just lay claim to that, you know,
- 4:07Speaker 1: not necessarily being a fact, but you just lay claim
- 4:10Speaker 1: to it. This is the person for me, This is
- 4:12Speaker 1: the person that I want to spend the rest of
- 4:14Speaker 1: my life with you know, sometimes, you know, we just
- 4:16Speaker 1: lay claim to stuff and it's not always what's in
- 4:19Speaker 1: our best interests, or it's not always a fact. It's
- 4:22Speaker 1: just what we decided we wanted. And I was guilty
- 4:25Speaker 1: of that, just like anybody else. And I spent a
- 4:28Speaker 1: lot of years in my life putting faith in people. Man,
- 4:32Speaker 1: if I could tell you anything this morning, it's to
- 4:35Speaker 1: stop putting your faith in people and put your faith
- 4:38Speaker 1: in God where it counts the most. I mean, you
- 4:41Speaker 1: can get something out of this one. See, here's the
- 4:44Speaker 1: deal about the relationship with God. It's it's the same
- 4:47Speaker 1: all the time. He never changes. His word is one absolute.
- 4:54Speaker 1: His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that.
- 4:58Speaker 1: It's this is what it is. He's very clear. Now
- 5:02Speaker 1: you can deviate off your end of the bargain, but
- 5:06Speaker 1: it don't stop what he says from being true. But
- 5:10Speaker 1: if but if you but if he asked you to
- 5:11Speaker 1: do something, If if God asked you to to be
- 5:14Speaker 1: a certain way, to do a little something a certain way,
- 5:16Speaker 1: and you don't do it that way, then you know
- 5:20Speaker 1: you could still possibly get by for a while. But
- 5:25Speaker 1: don't you understand that his end of the deal stays
- 5:28Speaker 1: the same, and as long as you're not doing it
- 5:30Speaker 1: the way you're supposed to, the results are not going
- 5:32Speaker 1: to be what you wanted to be. And I did
- 5:35Speaker 1: this for years and years and years, and I counted
- 5:38Speaker 1: on people, and uh, you know, I got myself in
- 5:41Speaker 1: a lot of situations and I got out one just
- 5:44Speaker 1: just that, just the end of last year, a dire
- 5:47Speaker 1: situation that I've been in for a number of years.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But he had protected me from years prior to that.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on, and then
- 5:55Speaker 1: he made it away. It made me aware of the problem.
- 5:57Speaker 1: In two thousand and eight and then, man, Lord have mercy,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I was in a dismal situation. And then at the
- 6:04Speaker 1: end of the year I was free, free from it all.
- 6:07Speaker 1: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 6:10Speaker 1: led up to that, and in and in going through
- 6:13Speaker 1: that process, I had to learn something. Man. I learned
- 6:16Speaker 1: a lot about people. See, if you want to learn
- 6:19Speaker 1: about your friends, if you want to learn about your
- 6:22Speaker 1: people people around you, Get yourself in some trouble, get
- 6:27Speaker 1: yourself in a situation. Oh man, you start looking around. Man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: the field get real clear. When you're in trouble the field,
- 6:35Speaker 1: clear is out when you're in doubt, when you don't
- 6:37Speaker 1: know what to do, when you need help, it gets
- 6:40Speaker 1: real clear on the play and field. Then done it.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Were throwing a celebration. We we we were gonna We're
- 6:49Speaker 1: gonna do one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of
- 6:52Speaker 1: people on the field. But but but but get yourself
- 6:54Speaker 1: in a situation. You find out rather quickly that old no,
- 6:59Speaker 1: old no, everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, I had to start learning this
- 7:06Speaker 1: for real until I finally got it to stop putting
- 7:09Speaker 1: my faith in people and put all of mine and
- 7:11Speaker 1: God where it counts the most. Now is that to
- 7:15Speaker 1: say that there are people that you can't trust. No,
- 7:18Speaker 1: that's not what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't
- 7:20Speaker 1: trust him, but you can't dump your faith in him.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I got it all righting on what he say. I
- 7:29Speaker 1: got it all righting on what she says. No, no,
- 7:34Speaker 1: uh no, I hear you saying it, but I'm gonna
- 7:39Speaker 1: keep my one on this situation because I hear you
- 7:42Speaker 1: saying it. But I'm gonna take this faith of mine
- 7:45Speaker 1: and instead of putting it in people, I'm gonna put
- 7:48Speaker 1: it in God where it counts the most. Because his
- 7:51Speaker 1: word is absolute. What he says he's gonna do, he
- 7:53Speaker 1: gonna do what he says. He's not gonna tolerate. He's
- 7:56Speaker 1: not gonna tolerate. Now, you can make it, you can
- 7:58Speaker 1: make it tolerable for yourself, but he's not gonna tolerate it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And that's just the end of the line. And so
- 8:04Speaker 1: you know, I'm i'm, i'm, I'm wondering how many people
- 8:06Speaker 1: out there find themselves in a situation like me, or
- 8:09Speaker 1: maybe you've gotten yourself in a situation because you put
- 8:12Speaker 1: your faith in some people and now you wound up
- 8:14Speaker 1: in a different type of situation. Now, let me ask
- 8:16Speaker 1: you whetting people at see every person that I had
- 8:22Speaker 1: put my faith in when I got in trouble, when
- 8:24Speaker 1: I got down, I couldn't find them people nowhere, nowhere, nowhere.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I didn't see a lifeline. I didn't say, hey man,
- 8:31Speaker 1: we're coming to get you. I didn't see none of that. No, sir,
- 8:35Speaker 1: no sir. The only one that I found when I
- 8:40Speaker 1: was in my deepest trouble, when me and my wife
- 8:44Speaker 1: were in our darkest situation. Was God. This is the
- 8:47Speaker 1: only one, was the only one who was just right there,
- 8:52Speaker 1: right there, all the way through. I mean comforting us,
- 8:57Speaker 1: consoling us, putting us, putting his arms around us, tucking
- 9:01Speaker 1: us under his wings, all of that all it was
- 9:05Speaker 1: just him. It was just him. And I'm asking any
- 9:08Speaker 1: of you to just do the same. If you look
- 9:10Speaker 1: around at the people that you put your faith in,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and you got in a situation because you have some
- 9:16Speaker 1: faith in some people, when you got in that situation,
- 9:19Speaker 1: where were those people? Where were they? Nowhere to be found?
- 9:26Speaker 1: I have not. I've yet to find those people when
- 9:28Speaker 1: I get in trouble. And so I'm asking you why
- 9:31Speaker 1: would you put your faith there when instead you can
- 9:34Speaker 1: put your faith in God where it counts the most,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and He's always there. Now, let me explain something to you.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Because you have this relationship with God, it does not mean,
- 9:46Speaker 1: it does not mean now that it won't get it
- 9:49Speaker 1: won't still be a situation, you understand. But what He
- 9:54Speaker 1: will do is protect you during that period. He'll cover
- 9:58Speaker 1: you during that period that it is a situation. He
- 10:02Speaker 1: will give you the stripth to overcome the situation. When
- 10:06Speaker 1: it turns into a situation. Then when he when he
- 10:09Speaker 1: cracks it open for you and the sun is bright
- 10:11Speaker 1: and shining. What he don't want you to do is
- 10:14Speaker 1: when he gets sunny again, to forget about him who
- 10:17Speaker 1: was there when it was dark for you. See, I
- 10:20Speaker 1: used to do that too, you know. I used to
- 10:22Speaker 1: get all right, fall down crying, Oh Lord, help me,
- 10:25Speaker 1: help me, help me. Then when he bailed me out
- 10:27Speaker 1: and I get back up on my feet, I'm walking
- 10:29Speaker 1: around like I'm hauling that him married two weeks now,
- 10:32Speaker 1: you know, every week and a half, talk to your Sunday.
- 10:36Speaker 1: You know I was there. Oh man, I did it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, I did it. But I'm
- 10:41Speaker 1: telling you man, when I learned after two thousand and
- 10:44Speaker 1: eight a very serious lesson, and I watched some people
- 10:48Speaker 1: I thought were friends of mine just sort of casually
- 10:53Speaker 1: remove themselves from the situation. Then I said, okay, Me
- 10:58Speaker 1: and Margie looked around. We said, okay, it's just me,
- 11:01Speaker 1: you and God. Okay, I got it now, I got it. Now,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Now I see what you're talking about. And we started
- 11:07Speaker 1: conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us, we
- 11:13Speaker 1: remember God. We stay prayerful. We keep talking to him.
- 11:17Speaker 1: We thank him for the sunshine, We thank him for
- 11:19Speaker 1: the dark days that he allowed us to do, who
- 11:22Speaker 1: allowed us to survive it and turn it into sunny days.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And we talked to him constantly to protect us of
- 11:28Speaker 1: our future enemies who come and try to, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 1: you know, just undermine what we got going and and
- 11:34Speaker 1: and he does that, and he doesn't that that doesn't
- 11:37Speaker 1: mean it doesn't stop people from trying stuff. But all
- 11:40Speaker 1: he does is he protects and covers us, and he
- 11:43Speaker 1: gives us the strift to go through it and give
- 11:45Speaker 1: us the knowledge and the wisdom to handle it. And
- 11:47Speaker 1: that's what the deal is. So if I was everybody,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I would stop putting your faith in people and put
- 11:52Speaker 1: your trust in God where it really does count the most,
- 11:55Speaker 1: it really really does. You're listening to Steven of Good

- 17:11Speaker 1: How good the actual show was. The entertainment was good
- 17:15Speaker 1: that it was incredible. The same James Gordon, he was
- 17:21Speaker 1: really good. He was really like, yeah karaoke, yeah, yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 1: he doesn't too. He was funny. I loved him his intro. Yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 1: steps one shoe off. On the first month of we

- 17:56Speaker 1: let's get let's go crazy and they did. It was
- 17:59Speaker 1: really really it was good. It was They still look

- 18:08Speaker 1: They really did. Yeah, just let you know, dang, it's
- 18:12Speaker 1: almost been a year. It's almost a year since. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 1: it's still unbelievable that he's gone. And over the weekend
- 18:20Speaker 1: we celebrate the five year anniversary of Whitney's passing. You know,

- 18:28Speaker 1: the Grammys Album of the Year. We'll talk about it
- 18:31Speaker 1: more throughout the morning. But Adele she won big last night,
- 18:36Speaker 1: five yea, And I mean, what about when she did
- 18:40Speaker 1: her tribute to George Michael and it just wasn't right
- 18:43Speaker 1: for her. She was like, I'm so sorry. She cursed,
- 18:46Speaker 1: and then she said, I'm so sorry for swearing, but
- 18:48Speaker 1: I kinnot do this to him. I kind of thought
- 18:51Speaker 1: this from the chap respect and I think the audience
- 18:55Speaker 1: and viewers appreciated that she wanted to do it the
- 18:58Speaker 1: right way because you remember La Cheer at the Grammys.
- 19:01Speaker 1: She had audio issues, and it seemed like Metallica had
- 19:06Speaker 1: some audio issues more than seemed like they did. Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: his whole first two. But Lady Gaga though, oh my gosh,
- 19:16Speaker 1: she set it up. She did, she really did. It

- 21:04Speaker 1: one of my favorite awards. Yeah, they really really registered.
- 21:09Speaker 1: They'd matter to me, man, the Double A CP Image Awards,

- 25:17Speaker 1: so done deal. Yeah, uh what is that? Exactly? Whatever?
- 25:25Speaker 1: You whatever? You people around the world where green at
- 25:40Speaker 1: the Grammy dude right here, described Steve, describing Celo had
- 25:47Speaker 1: on all go from hand and told, you know he
- 25:51Speaker 1: wear them all go. I don't know what to call

- 26:04Speaker 1: not a road that's a step m housecoat. He had
- 26:08Speaker 1: on one of the roads. It was gold. But he
- 26:11Speaker 1: had gold. Was it face paint? Yeah? And he had
- 26:16Speaker 1: the emblem on his head. The boy looked just like
- 26:19Speaker 1: a grammar. He did oscar. He was cold. Who was
- 26:25Speaker 1: your girl that wanted to make America great again? Dressed?
- 26:28Speaker 1: I didn't know her. She wanted she wanted to be fake. Yeah,
- 26:33Speaker 1: because when you turn around, I had Trump on the
- 26:35Speaker 1: back as well. I didn't know. Yeah, yeah, that's like
- 26:39Speaker 1: me taking my ass up there to her Trump. She
- 26:43Speaker 1: fit to catch that you circle. That's that's the hell.
- 26:52Speaker 1: She fitn the catch man. Do you know a lady
- 26:54Speaker 1: stopped me on the elevator the other day. I was
- 26:58Speaker 1: on the elevator at the hotel, uh, going to ah
- 27:03Speaker 1: take care of some business and um they had been
- 27:07Speaker 1: to the bottomless Mimosa on the roof of the hotel.
- 27:12Speaker 1: So she and she drank and so uh nice look

- 27:44Speaker 1: But why did you go up there at the Trump?
- 27:47Speaker 1: I looked at the lady, and you know, we're on
- 27:48Speaker 1: the elevator and it's crowding, and so I just looked
- 27:53Speaker 1: at I said, man, I said, if you don't understand,
- 27:55Speaker 1: just say that. Just say that, but don't question. Just
- 28:00Speaker 1: just say you don't understand, that's all. And we could
- 28:03Speaker 1: be like, what helped me understand? We ain't got time
- 28:08Speaker 1: for that. Just catching floors, man, you know, I mean,
- 28:13Speaker 1: you know, look, man, I'm taking my time so they
- 28:16Speaker 1: don't take time to say all that. You say that
- 28:18Speaker 1: photo dope, and on the next floor, I'm just giving
- 28:21Speaker 1: you a description of it. So finally we got all
- 28:24Speaker 1: the way down in the lobby. The brother was real nice. Man.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I met her brother before I was talking to him.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I said, I'm trying to just look at you, bro,
- 28:31Speaker 1: but telling you. And so I just turned to and
- 28:34Speaker 1: I just said, I said, what would you do? I said, ma'am, ma'am,
- 28:37Speaker 1: before you keep talking to me, I said, we lost
- 28:40Speaker 1: the battle. When somebody losed the battle, somebody got to
- 28:43Speaker 1: get on the horse and ride across the field and
- 28:46Speaker 1: talk to the new general. I said, that's my job.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I don't have I have no other job. Just all
- 28:51Speaker 1: I can be is what God sent me. I said,
- 28:53Speaker 1: But if they had not asked me to come on
- 28:55Speaker 1: both sides, somebody from the White House and somebody from
- 28:59Speaker 1: the Trump administrant, there's no way I could have went.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I ain't got about the number up there. Well, I
- 29:04Speaker 1: still love you. Then that's what we get on your

- 29:16Speaker 1: the lady who had addressed on huh yeah, yeah. Who
- 29:20Speaker 1: is the lady? Her name is Joey Via. She's a
- 29:22Speaker 1: singer songwriter, year olds here. Yeah, alright, make America great again.
- 29:32Speaker 1: She gonne, She's gonna babe, get on no more damn elevator. Alright,
- 29:39Speaker 1: one of the big Winter or the biggest winter last night,
- 29:41Speaker 1: five times five Grammys, Adele, her smash Hello, just broke
- 29:46Speaker 1: all kinds of records when she came back and everything,
- 29:49Speaker 1: and she won. Just want to hear I want you
- 29:51Speaker 1: to hear some of her acceptance speech. What a great speech.
- 29:54Speaker 1: But I can't possibly accept this award. And I'm very humbled,
- 29:57Speaker 1: and I'm very great, fool and gracious. My artist of
- 30:01Speaker 1: my life is beyonceing this album to me. The Lemonade
- 30:05Speaker 1: album was just so monumental, Beyonce. It was so monumental
- 30:11Speaker 1: and well thought out and so beautiful and soul bearing.
- 30:16Speaker 1: And we all got to see another side to you
- 30:18Speaker 1: that you don't always let us see and we appreciate that. Wow,
- 30:22Speaker 1: how gracious, how gracious, And that they have a camera
- 30:26Speaker 1: on Beyonce and the audience, and Beyonce was just giving
- 30:29Speaker 1: her love back. I love you, she was saying, with
- 30:31Speaker 1: her pretty pregnant self, I love you, Adele, thank you.
- 30:34Speaker 1: She just kept saying thank you. That was really sweet.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Though I was expecting Kanye at any minute though I'm
- 30:42Speaker 1: to come on stage. Kanye was on the elevator with me.
- 30:50Speaker 1: A great Awards show though, yeah, it really really was.
- 30:53Speaker 1: We have a Beyonce's speech coming up to I will
- 30:56Speaker 1: get to that sometime later. Beyonce one quite a few.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I means herself and I mean her performance. Wow, I
- 31:03Speaker 1: mean this whole tribute Steve to motherhood she gave. She
- 31:06Speaker 1: was introduced by her mom and she did this whole thing.
- 31:09Speaker 1: She was sitting in this chair and nervous chair. Yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: and the chair just like you know you it's not
- 31:16Speaker 1: a rocking chair. But she leaned back in the chair.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Everybody was like, because she's pregnant, and you couldn't see
- 31:22Speaker 1: anything holding the chair or pulling the chair. It was
- 31:26Speaker 1: oh man, her performance, Yeah, you really were It was great.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I know whoever was over the chair was cream right now.
- 31:36Speaker 1: They should have showed jay Z's face at that time.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Kanye should have come out at that moment. Hold up,
- 31:46Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Baby, Oh no, wow,
- 32:06Speaker 1: just just we're just saying a word though. No, let
- 32:15Speaker 1: me let me, let me, let me let me baby
- 32:24Speaker 1: Hey yeah, oh no wait a minute, look at Hill.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I think we need to say that when you go
- 32:44Speaker 1: on vacation, just when we start missing you, just play
- 32:47Speaker 1: that just random help it? Wow? Well whoa shi shid shid?
- 33:20Speaker 1: Not just laid back? Let him. Have it just be
- 33:25Speaker 1: black black, have yourself a moment. Gather yourself because you know,
- 33:30Speaker 1: we don't know what Trump did last night. Missing has
- 33:32Speaker 1: to get to that he does he does his stuff
- 33:37Speaker 1: at night at night. Well you know he ain't wear war.
- 33:43Speaker 1: So introduced missing when you GETZ and gentlemen, missing Missing,
- 33:46Speaker 1: Thank you, Thanks everybody, Good morning. This is hi hi hi. Okay. Well,
- 33:51Speaker 1: only days after President Trump took office, so he issued
- 33:54Speaker 1: that executive order saying that anybody charged with quote any
- 33:57Speaker 1: criminal offense could be deported. Senior White House adviser Steve
- 34:01Speaker 1: Miller fleshed that statement out yesterday on NBC's Meet the Press.
- 34:13Speaker 1: We can't hear the sound I'm saying. Anyway, he was
- 34:20Speaker 1: saying that, you know that anybody who has committed a
- 34:22Speaker 1: crime will be arrested. The problem is the President tweeted
- 34:24Speaker 1: yesterday that gang members, drug dealers, and others are being removed. However,
- 34:28Speaker 1: some local officials say, yeah, that was that was true
- 34:31Speaker 1: under the Obama administration. But some illegals who have not
- 34:34Speaker 1: committed violent crimes and now being picked up by immigration rates,
- 34:38Speaker 1: like if they're in the car with someone who happens
- 34:40Speaker 1: to be the target they're being picked up as well,
- 34:43Speaker 1: and they say that never happened under the Obama administration.
- 34:45Speaker 1: He only deported criminals and he did not deport people
- 34:49Speaker 1: who happened to be in the car or in the
- 34:50Speaker 1: home with them or something like that. Meanwhile, our neighbor
- 34:53Speaker 1: to the north says there's been a huge influx in
- 34:55Speaker 1: refugees crossing the border into Canada over the last two months,
- 34:59Speaker 1: and the bassi up in Manitoba, British Columbia and Quebec.
- 35:03Speaker 1: They say people apparently willing to illegally cross the border
- 35:05Speaker 1: by trudging through hours of snow and minus twenty degree temperatures.
- 35:10Speaker 1: One Somali refugee reportedly lost several fingers and toes to frost,
- 35:14Speaker 1: by another man both his hands, but apparently they all
- 35:17Speaker 1: both thought it was worth it to get out of
- 35:19Speaker 1: the US. Canadian border police say about a thousand people
- 35:22Speaker 1: have crossed so far, fearing that they faced a dangerous
- 35:25Speaker 1: and uncertain future under the new White House administration. Okay
- 35:30Speaker 1: Sad News said yes, legendary jazz singer Algero has died
- 35:38Speaker 1: or singer died in Los Angeles yesterday morning at age
- 35:40Speaker 1: seventy six. He's his passing came after a recent hospitalization
- 35:44Speaker 1: for exhaustion and only two days after he announced his
- 35:47Speaker 1: retirement officially from Tory. Algero won seven Grammy's over his
- 35:50Speaker 1: fifty year career. This was his business biggest single and
- 35:54Speaker 1: he won an R and B by the Way and
- 35:55Speaker 1: Pop and Soul. He won in Everything alger I, just
- 36:01Speaker 1: loved It So Perfect and double A. CP held forty
- 36:03Speaker 1: annual Image Awards over the weekend. The winners included Anthony Anderson,
- 36:06Speaker 1: Tracy Ellis, Rosster, Rodger p Henson, and Denzel The Outstanding
- 36:10Speaker 1: Motion Picture was Hidden Figures. And at the Grammys last night,
- 36:14Speaker 1: Adele pulled a trifecta, winning Song, Record and Album of
- 36:17Speaker 1: the Year like she did in twelve. So now it's
- 36:19Speaker 1: a record, of course. You just heard Adele's homage to Beyonce,
- 36:23Speaker 1: sounding like she felt she didn't deserve at least the
- 36:25Speaker 1: last award. But Beyonce did win two Grammys U one
- 36:29Speaker 1: for Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade and Best Music Video
- 36:33Speaker 1: for Formation. There were tributes to the Bgs, George Michael
- 36:37Speaker 1: and The Time and Bruno Mars did the thing for
- 36:39Speaker 1: Prince Let's Go, Let's Go, Let's Go Crazy. The audience
- 36:52Speaker 1: was jumping, and so was I and everybody else that
- 36:54Speaker 1: had any kind of shake to do. We were shaking
- 36:55Speaker 1: with Obama gave us. Okay, now back to the Steve Harvey,
- 37:00Speaker 1: thank you, San. Grammy's were great last night, as always, Um,
- 37:05Speaker 1: not as always. You said you normally don't like the Grammys,
- 37:09Speaker 1: but this was a good one. Yeah. I haven't said
- 37:11Speaker 1: that in a long time that the Grammys were great,
- 37:14Speaker 1: but they were great last night. Enjoyed the performances a lot,
- 37:17Speaker 1: and the host and the host James Cordon, the guy
- 37:22Speaker 1: who does one of the late talk shows and he
- 37:26Speaker 1: does carpool Karaoke. He comes on after Corbett, Steve Corbet.
- 37:32Speaker 1: He's funny. I like him. Carpool Karaoke's funny. But okay,
- 37:39Speaker 1: you know what time it is, though, right, you know
- 37:43Speaker 1: what time it is? What time is it? It's time
- 37:46Speaker 1: for little Now and Black History facts. Get ready, get ready,
- 37:55Speaker 1: let's go, JR. Yes you're up. Oh. Have y'all heard
- 37:59Speaker 1: this about James Michael Sanders, That he was a civil
- 38:04Speaker 1: rights freedom fighter who marched for Dr King and a
- 38:06Speaker 1: lot of other freedom fighters. But James Michael Sanders had
- 38:09Speaker 1: a bunyan on his right toe, and as he marched,
- 38:15Speaker 1: he he could not. He was the only one you
- 38:16Speaker 1: to hear out that time about dang my feet hurt.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Why they was marching? What Jane Michael Sanders got footing
- 38:24Speaker 1: hurt so bad that he told the top right part
- 38:26Speaker 1: off the shoot just to get that bunyan some room
- 38:29Speaker 1: to breathe. It felt so good, he told the other all.
- 38:33Speaker 1: James Michael Sander actually was the first freedom fighter to
- 38:36Speaker 1: march in Sandals. It got so good that they changed
- 38:39Speaker 1: his name to James Michael Sandals. Now he's the Sandals
- 38:43Speaker 1: at the march while you was marching. And then the
- 38:47Speaker 1: motto was left free to ring and your toes too.
- 38:52Speaker 1: James Michael Sands need to be told, dude complaining at
- 38:59Speaker 1: the mark, I ain't going all the way, So I'd
- 39:06Speaker 1: like the heartory that we don't know nothing about it
- 39:08Speaker 1: like that. Now here's one. This here is nineteen thirty one.
- 39:14Speaker 1: In case y'all don't know. Baby Doris Green got sick
- 39:19Speaker 1: and Mama Lucille was actually looking after her, and Mama
- 39:23Speaker 1: Lucia was watching her for three fold days to make
- 39:25Speaker 1: sure all right, make sure she was all right. Mama
- 39:28Speaker 1: Lucille put her in the room and she said, I
- 39:31Speaker 1: want you to be in this room so I can
- 39:33Speaker 1: see you. And she said okay, and they kept her
- 39:36Speaker 1: in there, and that is the first I see you

- 39:50Speaker 1: came up with the I want what we won't credit.
- 39:55Speaker 1: That is Mama Lucille who created the I cure. Every
- 39:59Speaker 1: time she looked man baby dolls, he said, I see you,

- 44:01Speaker 1: How was how was I Jr? Please be honest, I
- 44:04Speaker 1: don't know. I was in my dressing room. You meant
- 44:09Speaker 1: nobody come out for you? I can't come out. You
- 44:12Speaker 1: were not in the wings watching me. You coming out?
- 44:17Speaker 1: Wasn't no jim Man. I bet there was some chicken
- 44:25Speaker 1: and some rice, wild rice and sila. I bet they're
- 44:27Speaker 1: eating that. I finished. So you don't watch me my
- 44:31Speaker 1: my portion after show? Obviously, No, I didn't even know
- 44:35Speaker 1: you were in there. Why do you come to say hi? Anyway?
- 44:42Speaker 1: I've never seen you perform. You've never come to see me.
- 44:48Speaker 1: That's the problem, Stephen. But guess why if you come
- 44:51Speaker 1: to see Southern Friday Comedy in Portsmouth, Virginia this Friday night,
- 44:54Speaker 1: you will see me. A matter of fact, I expect
- 44:56Speaker 1: you to be there. Steve Harvey, what is you laughing?
- 45:01Speaker 1: And pass up? Oh my money to go watch you? Yeah?
- 45:06Speaker 1: Just carried out by a bunch of baby all the boys?
- 45:10Speaker 1: Are you nuts? Men? Correction? See that's ther battom. You
- 45:18Speaker 1: ain't never been carried out about. That's what you want?
- 45:21Speaker 1: You wanted you just want you want to be? Is
- 45:24Speaker 1: that what you want to be? So bad? If you're
- 45:29Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, that looks good. Yeah, that
- 45:34Speaker 1: looks real good. Rod Demers, the Brother um and on
- 45:39Speaker 1: that series. All right, we'll coming up the Grammys of
- 45:41Speaker 1: course for last night. Great show, great performances. We forgot
- 45:45Speaker 1: about Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. What a great performance
- 45:48Speaker 1: they get. I mean, yea, yeah, there's so many great performances.
- 45:53Speaker 1: We could go on and on. Bruno Mars, I mean,
- 45:58Speaker 1: just lady God, everybody was incredible last night. Um, we'll
- 46:03Speaker 1: talk about it. We'll get into some acceptance speeches when
- 46:06Speaker 1: we come back. Okay, we're gonna get into him paying
- 46:09Speaker 1: Kirk head on. Okay, all about the Grammy's last night. Uh,
- 46:18Speaker 1: Chance the Rapper became a househole name last night. Everybody
- 46:22Speaker 1: knows who Chance the Rapper is? Okay, one of the
- 46:26Speaker 1: problems out of me? Okay, alright. Twenty three year old
- 46:30Speaker 1: artists from Chicago took home three three trophies, including Best
- 46:34Speaker 1: New Artists, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album. He
- 46:38Speaker 1: also performed All We Got with Kirk Franklin Tommy Yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 1: I saw it, you know, Kirk. It's a different dresser.
- 46:49Speaker 1: He's yeah. We love curtain man, what hubbad singing behind?
- 46:58Speaker 1: That's all I can say, yes, yes she can, of course,
- 47:02Speaker 1: who can forget Beyonce? I mean her performance was incredible. Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Even though Queen Bee didn't win big, her presence was
- 47:10Speaker 1: felt with an elaborate spoken word musical performance featuring over
- 47:15Speaker 1: a dozen dancers. She did a special tribute to motherhood,
- 47:20Speaker 1: seeing as how she announced last week she's pregnant with twins,
- 47:24Speaker 1: so she did a big tribute to motherhood. Her mother,
- 47:27Speaker 1: Tina introduced her before her performance. But but it was great,
- 47:31Speaker 1: very creative, very artistic, just lovely. Did you huh? Did
- 47:36Speaker 1: you miss one though? Did you see the girl that
- 47:38Speaker 1: what's the what's the host name? Again? I don't want
- 47:41Speaker 1: James Gordon? Okay? At opening number? Did you see the
- 47:44Speaker 1: girl that was dancing next to him? You do you
- 47:48Speaker 1: see how fine she was? I'm sorry, I mean, you know,
- 47:57Speaker 1: just a lot of accolades for Beyonce last night, even
- 48:00Speaker 1: Adele was a big winner. Adele gave a special shout
- 48:03Speaker 1: out as she accepted her Record of the Year awards.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You have a special shout out to Beyonce. But I
- 48:08Speaker 1: can't possibly accept this award, and I'm very humble and
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm very grateful and gracious. But my artist of my
- 48:15Speaker 1: life is Beyonce saying this album to me, the Lemonade
- 48:18Speaker 1: album was just so monumental, Beyonce. It was so monumental
- 48:24Speaker 1: and so well thought out and so beautiful and soul bearing,
- 48:30Speaker 1: and we all got to see another side to you
- 48:32Speaker 1: that you don't always let us see, and we appreciate that.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I just love that. I just love how gracious her
- 48:38Speaker 1: speech was. Let's I mean, we have a couple of
- 48:40Speaker 1: seconds here, let's let's hear Beyonce's acceptance of speech last night.
- 48:45Speaker 1: It's important to me to show him just to my
- 48:47Speaker 1: children that reflect their beauty, so they can grow up
- 48:49Speaker 1: in a world or they look in the mirror first
- 48:52Speaker 1: to their own families as well as the news, the
- 48:54Speaker 1: super Bowl, the Olympics, the White House, and the Grammys
- 48:59Speaker 1: and see themselves and have no doubt that they're beautiful,
- 49:03Speaker 1: intelligent and capable. This is something I want for every
- 49:07Speaker 1: child of every race. Can you rewind to where the
- 49:14Speaker 1: fine lady was standing there? You can hear a fan
- 49:16Speaker 1: if you rewind to the park. Yeah, we'll be back.
- 49:21Speaker 1: You don't want to hear a fan. You're listening to
- 49:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up at the
- 49:29Speaker 1: top of the hour of the Strawberry Letter. Check out
- 49:31Speaker 1: this subject. I am not enough for my man. I
- 49:35Speaker 1: am not enough for my man. That's the subject of
- 49:38Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. But up next, Nephew Tommy and the
- 49:41Speaker 1: prank phone call. Nephew, you heard me? What? Freedom papers? Huh?
- 49:50Speaker 1: Y'all got your freedom paper and Black History Month. This
- 49:53Speaker 1: is what we're doing. Yeah, and you better get him told.
- 49:58Speaker 1: You see who it offered? You better are your freedom
- 50:01Speaker 1: You know what? Time what? I'm sorry, He's sorry. If
- 50:05Speaker 1: people thought I was as stupid as you, I wouldn't
- 50:08Speaker 1: even be in the net. We did start being as
- 50:12Speaker 1: stupid as me. To get yourself out of all that minute,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to retain. Uh. Hi, my name is Scott.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I'm calling from f PI. Wanted to give you a
- 50:29Speaker 1: call about actually uh using our services. If I think
- 50:34Speaker 1: you'll actually like it, the FBI would definitely like to
- 50:37Speaker 1: get you on board. What is it. FBI is Freedom
- 50:41Speaker 1: Papers Incorporated. Freedom Papers Incorporated. What we do is we
- 50:45Speaker 1: actually make sure you get freedom papers and you can
- 50:49Speaker 1: purchase them from US. And what I can do is
- 50:52Speaker 1: I can get you freedom papers for you and every
- 50:55Speaker 1: individual at your home for roughly eight hundred bucks or under.
- 50:59Speaker 1: What what of freedom? Freedom papers? Well? Actually, what this is?
- 51:02Speaker 1: You know? I mean are you are you familiar with like,
- 51:05Speaker 1: um say, if you are an alien from another country
- 51:10Speaker 1: and you need a you need a green card to
- 51:12Speaker 1: be here, are you familiar with that? Okay? So what
- 51:16Speaker 1: what goes on with Freedom Papers Incorporated? Is when you
- 51:19Speaker 1: sign and get freedom papers from US. What it does, it's, uh,
- 51:22Speaker 1: people who are African Americans our papers let them know
- 51:25Speaker 1: that you're actually a free person in this country. Oh
- 51:30Speaker 1: I've been free. I'm sorry, ain't no flavor going on?
- 51:33Speaker 1: What you talking about? Well I'm free? Well you you
- 51:37Speaker 1: you may be, but you have to actually show paperwork
- 51:41Speaker 1: for that. When they when did they start? Sir? This
- 51:44Speaker 1: is all over the news. You have to have freedom
- 51:46Speaker 1: papers within the next six months. Every African American person
- 51:51Speaker 1: is gonna have to have freedom papers and have them
- 51:54Speaker 1: on on the you know. Uh, it's it's like keep
- 51:57Speaker 1: on driver's license or a checkbook or something. You gonna
- 52:00Speaker 1: have to have your freedom papers on you. That's some
- 52:02Speaker 1: that's some, that's something. I'm free. I'm not about to
- 52:06Speaker 1: pay no money when I'm already free. Okay, but you're gonna,
- 52:09Speaker 1: for sure you're gonna need paperwork to show your freedom
- 52:12Speaker 1: and you don't. Do you have any freedom papers at
- 52:14Speaker 1: this point right now? No, because I don't need freedom
- 52:17Speaker 1: I'm free, sir. I don't think you quite understand. Do
- 52:20Speaker 1: you understand that you could possibly if you're caught without
- 52:24Speaker 1: your freedom papers, you could be taken into captive and
- 52:28Speaker 1: actually have to work for so many years in order
- 52:30Speaker 1: and then later on you might get your freedom. But
- 52:33Speaker 1: right now, right here, if you buy freedom papers from me,
- 52:37Speaker 1: I can I can fix it where you don't go
- 52:39Speaker 1: through that you can actually get separated from your family. Sir.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I'm not going by where they're gonna send me to
- 52:44Speaker 1: where they gonna deport me to after I've never been there. No, No,
- 52:47Speaker 1: you're not going to Africa. You could be actually here
- 52:49Speaker 1: in the United States working on on a particular farm
- 52:53Speaker 1: of of with a lot of people who don't have
- 52:56Speaker 1: their papers. If you haven't gotten this news, I do apologize,
- 52:59Speaker 1: But within the next six months you're going to need
- 53:02Speaker 1: freedom papers to you anyway. Sir. Like I said before,
- 53:06Speaker 1: I'm Scott with FBI, no sp I, f thirds fpis
- 53:13Speaker 1: freedom papers in corporate. I don't give what it is.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I'm not about to pay no no money to be free, Sir,
- 53:20Speaker 1: you have to have paperwork on you to show that
- 53:22Speaker 1: you are a free citizen of the United States. Hold
- 53:26Speaker 1: hold of how you get my number anyway, sir. We
- 53:28Speaker 1: have a list of numbers of people that we don't
- 53:30Speaker 1: think have their freedom papers, and your name actually popped
- 53:34Speaker 1: up here in our database, So men pop up on Okay, sir,
- 53:38Speaker 1: I'm trying to give my number, Sir. We have a
- 53:41Speaker 1: database here of people who we don't think their freedom papers.
- 53:46Speaker 1: Your name is actually here. After talking to you, it
- 53:48Speaker 1: seems like you don't have your freedom papers and we
- 53:51Speaker 1: want to make sure you get them. We're letting you
- 53:53Speaker 1: know it's two hundred dollars per person to get these
- 53:56Speaker 1: actual paperies. So you're telling me you got database and
- 53:59Speaker 1: you just calling black people all around the points. Well, no, sir,
- 54:03Speaker 1: what we're doing is we're calling African Americans and let
- 54:05Speaker 1: them letting them know that they can actually uh buy
- 54:08Speaker 1: freedom papers from us so they don't have to be
- 54:11Speaker 1: if they're if they're if they ever get captured, then
- 54:14Speaker 1: what can happen is is that they can show their
- 54:16Speaker 1: papers and not have to deal with the problems that
- 54:20Speaker 1: we already free. You're gonna have a whole bunch runaway
- 54:23Speaker 1: because we ain't paying. I'm not paying. They might but
- 54:25Speaker 1: I'm not paying. Sure, you're gonna have to have your
- 54:28Speaker 1: freedom papers on you at all times. That's gonna be
- 54:31Speaker 1: the law within the next six months. So what I'm
- 54:33Speaker 1: trying to end, Can you sell you freedom papers so
- 54:35Speaker 1: you'll understand that you you have everything that you need.
- 54:38Speaker 1: You have your driver's license, you have your freedom papers,
- 54:41Speaker 1: and and whatever else did you carry on you you
- 54:44Speaker 1: have let's be out. Your mom called me on my
- 54:47Speaker 1: phone this Sunday, wrong with you freedom papers? I ain't
- 54:51Speaker 1: getting Who are you? I'm Scott, sir. I'm gonnassociate here
- 54:56Speaker 1: at FPI. I heard about that sp I. You just
- 54:59Speaker 1: want to check from me thinking about seeing you some
- 55:01Speaker 1: damn money. Y'all kiss my sir, sir. I understand you.
- 55:06Speaker 1: But what you gotta understand is within the next six
- 55:08Speaker 1: months you're gonna need these papers. Well, they're gonna have
- 55:11Speaker 1: to catch my same tans. Okay, sir, don't you don't
- 55:14Speaker 1: you want to be free? I am free, everybody's free.
- 55:18Speaker 1: We got a black president. He's gonna have to get
- 55:20Speaker 1: freedom papers I buy from you. Kiss, Sir, You're gonna
- 55:24Speaker 1: have to pay for these papers one way or the other. Okay.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I'm trying this because I gave you a call. I
- 55:29Speaker 1: trying to be nice to you. I'm letting you know
- 55:31Speaker 1: now you're gonna have to pay for your freedom, sir.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Everyone will be captured if they do not have freedom papers.
- 55:40Speaker 1: You tell you right now, don't, sir, Sir, You're going
- 55:44Speaker 1: to get captured when you least expected. Sir, You're going
- 55:47Speaker 1: to get captured when you least expected. I'm gonna be
- 55:50Speaker 1: you tom to can't take y'all donna have to catch
- 55:53Speaker 1: me because I ain't paying. I didn't look up. Only
- 55:56Speaker 1: continue right now. I can't find scam trying to get
- 55:59Speaker 1: my money. Are you on the computer? Okay? Can I
- 56:04Speaker 1: tell you one more thing? Can I can I get
- 56:06Speaker 1: you to google something else? Put in put in N
- 56:09Speaker 1: E P H E W all right, t O M

- 56:44Speaker 1: What is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 56:47Speaker 1: show in the lane? The Steve Parks Morning The Show

- 56:56Speaker 1: You can catch me tomorrow night at the West Palm
- 56:58Speaker 1: Beach m from Florida and West Palm Beat. You can
- 57:02Speaker 1: catch me tomorrow night Valentine's Night, and then Friday I
- 57:04Speaker 1: lock up with my partner Crime Junior William Portsmith, Virginia.
- 57:08Speaker 1: That is Southern Fride comedy Stupid continue for one night,
- 57:13Speaker 1: for one night, Valentine's Night. Yes, sir, I'm doing I'm
- 57:18Speaker 1: trying to hustle like you. That's all. That's all, just hustle.
- 57:22Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 57:29Speaker 1: it's a time buckle up and hold on tight. We
- 57:31Speaker 1: got it. Fall you here it is Strawberry Letta. All right,
- 57:33Speaker 1: before we get to the letter, let me just say, parents,
- 57:36Speaker 1: if you have any small children in the car at
- 57:39Speaker 1: home with you. I don't think you want them to
- 57:41Speaker 1: hear this letter and govern yourselves accordingly for this one. Uh,
- 57:47Speaker 1: it's a bit much subject. I am not enough for
- 57:51Speaker 1: my man. Just Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty three
- 57:54Speaker 1: year old female and I'm totally in love with my
- 57:57Speaker 1: forty three year old boyfriend. Was a player before we
- 58:01Speaker 1: started dating, but he stopped all of that for me
- 58:03Speaker 1: and I felt special and loved. Shortly after we started dating,
- 58:08Speaker 1: I noticed that he replaced being a player with watching
- 58:11Speaker 1: a lot of porn. It didn't bother me at first,
- 58:15Speaker 1: but now he does it as soon as we are
- 58:17Speaker 1: done having sex and I leave the room. One day,
- 58:21Speaker 1: I came home from a quick trip to the store
- 58:23Speaker 1: and he had locked me out of our bedroom because
- 58:26Speaker 1: he was in there watching porn and we had just
- 58:28Speaker 1: had sex before I left the house. Every time he
- 58:31Speaker 1: sleeps on the couch, he watches porn. We work at
- 58:34Speaker 1: the same place, and he watches it at work. He
- 58:37Speaker 1: goes in the bathroom at work for thirty minutes at
- 58:39Speaker 1: a time to watch it. The first thing he does
- 58:42Speaker 1: when he wakes up in the morning, even if we've
- 58:44Speaker 1: just had sex, is watch porn. He does it so
- 58:48Speaker 1: much now that he always has scabs on him from
- 58:51Speaker 1: all of the rubbing and the friction. Lately, we have
- 58:55Speaker 1: had several fights about this. What should I do? Whoa? Uh? Yeah, yeah,
- 59:04Speaker 1: he needs help in a major way. I mean, I
- 59:06Speaker 1: just gotta tell you. But but first I have to
- 59:08Speaker 1: say this to you. Please stop blaming yourself, um for
- 59:12Speaker 1: his problems. I mean, he's the one that can't control himself. Uh.
- 59:16Speaker 1: This has nothing to do with you. It's not your
- 59:19Speaker 1: fault in any way. Uh. And hear me clearly on
- 59:23Speaker 1: this one. You are enough. Okay, you are enough. However
- 59:27Speaker 1: you are, You're enough. He, on the other hand, is
- 59:30Speaker 1: not normal. This is not normal behavior by any stretch
- 59:34Speaker 1: of the imagination. Uh. Who does this like you've just
- 59:38Speaker 1: had sex and he's still come on, come on, it
- 59:42Speaker 1: just does. I don't see this working for you any longer.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I just don't. I mean, you say you're totally in
- 59:48Speaker 1: love with this guy, but he's totally in love with porn.
- 59:51Speaker 1: He's totally in love with porn. And if they find
- 59:54Speaker 1: out about what he's doing at work for thirty minutes
- 59:56Speaker 1: at a time, he's gonna lose his job. He is
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you know, this is not what you go to work for. Now,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: that's terrible. Thirty minutes at a time, you have time
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to leave work and go watch Born ridiculous. He's gonna
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: lose his job. I'm glad you're not talking about marrying
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: marrying to this guy, you know, being married to this guy,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: because if you if you were considering that, you'd have
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: even more of a problem on your hand. I think
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: now is the time to bow out gracefully, unless you know,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: if you're that totally in love with him, you you know,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: discuss going to see someone, a doctor or a psychologist
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: or something about this problem. But this is a major
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: problem and I don't see it going away anytime soon.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: And again, you are enough. Steve Born is an addiction. Alcoholism,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: drug abuse. Anything you do in excess is a problem.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: You can actually drink too much water, You can actually
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: do that. Anything you do in excess is a problem.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Anything you do the interferes with the well being of
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: your success, in your happiness, and you don't stop doing
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: it is a problem. Porn is a problem. You just
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: had sex. What you're doing now, what you're doing now,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: where you're going on this damn done? What are you?
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Where are you going. You're gonna he foughted three in
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: three years forty six, he gonna be out of AMMO.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: You only get so many bullets in your lifetime. Then
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you have to use these bullets sparingly. So now let
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: me tell you he's a player. Before we started, he
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: stopped all that for me, you felt, specially shortly after
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: we started dating. I know the replace being a player.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: We're watching a lot of point and didn't bother me
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: at first. It should have, but now he is it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: As soon as we're done having sex and I leave
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the room. This ain't got nothing to do with you, lady.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: First of all, your man got a damn problem. As
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: soon as you're walking out the dough, he just start hammering.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: He starts, what what what's it called hammering? You just
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: had your hammering? Come on, now, the kids. One day
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I came home from a quick trip to the store
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and he had locked me out of the bedroom because
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: he was in that watching point and we had just
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: had sex before I left the house. Every time you
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: sleep on the couch, he watched point. So now the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: only thing I see right now, you got to get
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: all the locks off these doors, and you can't have
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: no more couches than that. You gotta get him up
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: every time. And now we work at the same place.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: He watched work. He watched Point at work. He go
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to the bathroom for thirty minutes out of time to
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: watch it. The first thing he did when he wake
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: up in the morning. Even if we just had sex
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: as he watched Point. This man got a problem. This
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: man got a real damn problem, and he farted through.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: It's something wrong with him. It's called crazy. He does
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: it so much he has scabs on him. Now listen
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to me. I'm gonna hold over, come back. I'm gonna
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: tell you what's really wrong now. Can't give us something
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: though before we leave the scale, I already know what
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that is. Ladies, you don't know this, but Uncle Steve
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: men to give you some important information that we'll be
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: back with Steve Hard two coming up at eighteen after
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the hour. Listen to me this strong letter. This man
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: got a problem. Do you hear me? He has a
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: real problem. No one, No one thinks this is normal.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: It's accepting him. He had worked at work though, Steve Class,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: we gotta finish this project. Class is in that was
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: that him? No nods? The dude in the hallway to
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: think I'm talking to him. Oh, he doesn't know. He's
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: in the letter right now. No, he has no idea
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that I'm in here doing the radio showing ain't even talking.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: And so this man has a problem. You go to
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the stove right after you have sex, you come back.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: He can lock the bedroom though. Here up watching some point.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: He sleep on the couch. He watched point. He had work,
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: He going to bathroom for thirty minutes watching point. First
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: thing he does when you work up in the morning,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: even if we just had sex, is watch point. He
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: does it so much. Now did he need prayer? He
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: need He needs to go to church, He need the
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: occupany you need to get in a hobby, He need
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: a video game. He does it so much. Now you
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: always have scabs on him from all the rubbing in friction. Layah,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: We've had several fights about this. What should I do?
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: First of all, the scabs are not from rubbing and friction.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: The scabs is a cleanliness issue. See, if you at
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: work and you got all these different you know, lotions
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: and oils and all this hell, and then you don't clean,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: then that's a very sensitive area. And it starts and
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: it and it does a bump which turns into a scamp. Yo,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: man is actually what's the word I can use? Because
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: we got a radio show, Steve, we're trying to keep
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: it hien, nasty, disgusting. It's another word for beating. Oh
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: what's another word for beating? Uh? He said hammering earlier. Okay,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: let's go with hammering. He hammered himself to death to
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: the point where it's it's not so much the rubbing
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: and free action that's causing them unless he's using some
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: device that you don't know about that has bumps on it.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Other than that, this man right here has a hygiene problem. Yeah, fellas,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: this is not a subject you want to talk about.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: But it's a hygiene problem. Why is everybody quiet because unfortable? Well,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help though it's still a damn

- 1:07:50Speaker 1: taking care of itself. He needs help. That's what I said.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: He you can't wash it work, that's the damn But
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: what you cannot do is come out that tarlet and

- 1:08:18Speaker 1: doing any of it. He getting through and he coming
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: right back to his desk and all that stuff in there.

- 1:08:27Speaker 1: ever have that problem with any of your employees or anything?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Hell no, Hell if I did, I wouldn't know. Anybody
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: told me the boss got what I just got to do.

- 1:17:02Speaker 1: call that things aren't rainbows and unicorns in their relationship,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: so they end up bad romance the day before Valentine's Day,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: which of course we all know is the day of love.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: So that is not how it's done. And if you
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: look in the Player book, page twelve, uh, second paragraph,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: it lets you know clearly states that when breaking up
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: for Valentine's you do this right after the new year
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: has started. Also, you're saying January, you start this thing January, third, fourth, fifth,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: right in there. Now, if you have said those days,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I would have clearly been with you, But the play
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: handbook says nothing about not know the David. No Valentine's
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I don't know who you're talking to. Relationship experts say

- 1:17:57Speaker 1: never been broken up with, so they don't know how
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: they know. Yeah, I've dumped someone before Valentine's Day? So
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you've done this? How many times? I've done this? At
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: least at least two times? What a random note? You cheat? Yeah,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: thank you, Junior, I got you. I know how to
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: talk to him. But I'm buying surely. I'm actually on
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the site right now though. I am buying some flowers
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: right now from one Flowers. Yeah, cod, so I gotta
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: put your cold in if you give me this strawberry,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: that's my coach. Now. This is according to some stats
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: as well, these fiercent of women send themselves flowers for
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Valentine today, and that's love yourself, Love yourself, love yourself,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: that's all right, especially January three behind. We're going to

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: site today only all right, tomorrow is the day of love,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: Valentine's Day. Get it together people, Yes, Carla, Well, I
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: wanted to ask Tommy Shirley Jr. When you jump, yeah,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: when you're dump these, uh your your relationships? Why did
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: you break up with him because you didn't want to
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: buy a gift? Want? Carla? Carla? Yes, that's all it is.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: He's cheap. That's or is it that the relationship was
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: getting too serious and you didn't want to be committed
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: on Valentine's Day because you were a players at I say,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I don't love you like that? That ain't it, Carla?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: It's because he's cheap. And then you know we have
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: a you know, relationships with me back in the day.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Of course, you know it's a little different than I'm married.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: But back in the day they always had an expiration,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: tom You know what I'm saying. So when you start
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: with me, you we're really really gonna be by six
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: months that's about it? And you're afraid of commitment. Yeah,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: back in the day, six months was enough for me.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I pretty much got tadded. Oh you got bored, yeah,

- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I don't want you. I don't want you to feeling

- 1:20:27Speaker 1: holiday within the six months, which they're most likely would
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: have been and will be. Then you broke up with them. Well,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: now you know, East, I go to church. What did
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: you get your little buddy basket? You know you boy,

- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I wanted to go that little player handbook away. No no, no, no,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you keep your book now. No, you're married, you don't
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: need it. But it's a memorability of Shirley. You know,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: mem I'll be like, oh, Jay, you take my playbook.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I still look back. Well you know where O J
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: ended never had no playbook. So, Tommy, if someone today,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: so according to Shirley Survey, if someone needed to break
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: up with someone today and dump them, what would you
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: You gotta know how to start an argument in a relationship,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: And I think that's a lot of people's problems. Is
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: you can start an argument that can last three You
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: can start you can start an argument that could go
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: a month. It's it's the morning, they're having breakfast. What's
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: the argument. What's the argument about there? Okay, honey, I

- 1:40:26Speaker 1: Do it again, a greater sat Matthews on the side
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: of the van again, do it again, and see what
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: happened transfer One of them vans had a cardinal attached
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: to it. Right now, it looks like somebody's still paying

- 1:41:17Speaker 1: all over it's a big, huge event all weekend. I
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: was in Dallas hair and makeup surely getting my baby gloved. Yeah,
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: and a lot of people can I say this, You
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: can go to my Instagram page lips bar Carla. But
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: a lot of people they want to see some of
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: the routine and I cannot post the routine because they're
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: in competition. So the other competing teams will see there
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: still their moves, that's right. So the coaches they give
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: us a strict warning about posting routines, uh on the
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: parents social media pages. So that's why you don't see that,
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: because people are always fussing at me about that. So anyway, congratulations, yes, Tasha, Yes,

- 1:42:22Speaker 1: the late now late great Algero, I mean, you know, yeah,
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: oh god. But anyway, over the weekend, yesterday, as a
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: matter of fact, we we lost algebrow Um. They said
