- 1:24Speaker 1: to turn the turn at the time, lovey got to
- 1:43Speaker 1: turn out to turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back at it. Uh huh, I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: will Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now. One and only. Steve Harvey got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah man, one more time. Steve Harvey
- 2:14Speaker 1: got a radio show. Why because God, God is in
- 2:20Speaker 1: the blessing business. If you go get in line, he
- 2:24Speaker 1: has something for you. If you go get in line,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he has something for you. God is amazing the plan
- 2:36Speaker 1: he actually has for you. It's so far greater than
- 2:40Speaker 1: you can possibly imagine. It's really mind blowing. And as
- 2:45Speaker 1: I look back on where He's brought me from and
- 2:49Speaker 1: what he's currently doing for me, all I can do
- 2:53Speaker 1: is tell you is God, That's all I can tell you,
- 2:56Speaker 1: Because I tell you right now, I didn't foresee it.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know. It oftentimes amazes me when I listened to
- 3:02Speaker 1: celebrities when they interview how they say. You know, I
- 3:05Speaker 1: always always thought that this would happen for me and
- 3:08Speaker 1: not just you know, it could be true, but for me,
- 3:12Speaker 1: it's not that way at all. I didn't imagine it
- 3:18Speaker 1: this way. I had a dream of becoming famous one day,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but I had no idea it would it would ever
- 3:28Speaker 1: get to this. It was a very very simple desire
- 3:32Speaker 1: for fame. I just simply wanted to become one of
- 3:35Speaker 1: the premier stand ups in the country, one of them,
- 3:38Speaker 1: not the but just one of them. Because you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: humor is um you know, it's I don't know the
- 3:45Speaker 1: right word, but it's an opinion. Some people, no matter
- 3:50Speaker 1: how funny you are, think somebody else is funnier than you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I get that. That's I don't have a problem with that.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's some people that did not like Richard Pryde. They
- 3:59Speaker 1: just did They didn't find his brand of humor to
- 4:02Speaker 1: be funny at all, because it doesn't It didn't tickle
- 4:05Speaker 1: their funny bone. So, Milly, what I wanted in the
- 4:09Speaker 1: beginning was to become one of the premier stand ups
- 4:13Speaker 1: in the country. There is no way I could have
- 4:15Speaker 1: seen all this. There is no way I am telling
- 4:19Speaker 1: you this is. This has been nothing for me but
- 4:23Speaker 1: the grace of God. And all the times I failed,
- 4:27Speaker 1: every time I had fallen, he picked me up, he
- 4:32Speaker 1: dusted me off, and he kept me moving. It has
- 4:36Speaker 1: been an amazing thing to watch God do what he do.
- 4:41Speaker 1: As I look back on my history and you sometimes
- 4:44Speaker 1: look back on your history, you've got to see, man, wow,
- 4:48Speaker 1: what God has done for you and what He's brought
- 4:50Speaker 1: you through to enable you to be where you are.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It is amazing because really, I mean really real talk. Now,
- 4:58Speaker 1: had he allowed all of the decisions I had made
- 5:01Speaker 1: to play all the way out, I can assure you
- 5:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today. But God, through this grace
- 5:08Speaker 1: and mercy, who had a plan for me, who was
- 5:11Speaker 1: just waiting on me to come get in line, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: then he was gonna start empty and now he was
- 5:17Speaker 1: gonna start shipping out all the boxes in heaven with
- 5:20Speaker 1: my name on it. And man, what a great God
- 5:23Speaker 1: he is, What a great God he is, And you
- 5:27Speaker 1: have boxes of blessings with your name on it that
- 5:32Speaker 1: he is waiting to ship. But he needs you to
- 5:35Speaker 1: go down there and get in line. That's what it is.
- 5:39Speaker 1: It is not that he has more boxes for other
- 5:42Speaker 1: people than he do you. He got boxes with your
- 5:44Speaker 1: name on it who have never been shipped. Because you
- 5:48Speaker 1: will not get in line to go get him, you
- 5:51Speaker 1: will not ask God for him, you will not do
- 5:54Speaker 1: the things necessary to attain them. We stop our own blessings. Man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I have been the biggest stopper of my blessings than
- 6:01Speaker 1: anybody else. I can't really get mad at nobody. I
- 6:04Speaker 1: got nobody to blame for my existence but me. But
- 6:08Speaker 1: then at the same time, I can't take credit for this,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I really really can't. I kid you not, I cannot
- 6:15Speaker 1: take credit for And if you ever see me taking
- 6:18Speaker 1: credit forward, tap me on the shoulder, say Steve, pull up.
- 6:23Speaker 1: You Remember you said this ain't about you. If you
- 6:26Speaker 1: catch me taking too much credit, you have my permission
- 6:30Speaker 1: to stop me. Now Here is the deal, though, and
- 6:35Speaker 1: and this is what I want to get through to today,
- 6:40Speaker 1: moving forward while under attack new level, new devil. You know,
- 6:48Speaker 1: every time you go somewhere, every time you try to progress,
- 6:51Speaker 1: every time you make a decision to be better, to
- 6:53Speaker 1: do better, that's gonna be a confrontation you're going to
- 6:57Speaker 1: have because it is the enemy's job to not see
- 7:00Speaker 1: you go forward, do better, won't more, behave yourself. There
- 7:05Speaker 1: is a force that is operative out there that has
- 7:09Speaker 1: people working on his behalf. I mean, just do dirt
- 7:14Speaker 1: all day long. You got a computer, go go read
- 7:18Speaker 1: a blog. Just go read a blog. They're busy man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: not knowing, but just saying evil stuff constantly. That's the job. Well,
- 7:29Speaker 1: here's here's what happens. I you. We have to always
- 7:35Speaker 1: keep moving forward while we're under attack because the attack
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's going to always come. If you allow the attackers
- 7:47Speaker 1: to stop you, you will lose that particular battle. And
- 7:51Speaker 1: you cannot afford this. You know. My father used to say,
- 7:56Speaker 1: be careful when you're trying to kick somebody off the ladder,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because you got to take your foot off too, and
- 8:02Speaker 1: you might slip. And so when people are taking their
- 8:06Speaker 1: feet off the ladder, most something more, the majority, the
- 8:09Speaker 1: main em up own a ladder. They just at the
- 8:11Speaker 1: bottom throwing stuff up at you. They are just shaking
- 8:15Speaker 1: your ladder. They ain't even they ain't even on your level.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Really tell you the truth, they're really not you have
- 8:20Speaker 1: moved on far beyond them spiritually, physically, everything, but they
- 8:25Speaker 1: are still shaking your ladder and attacking. You. Keep moving
- 8:29Speaker 1: forward while under attack, because the attacks are going to come.
- 8:33Speaker 1: If you take the time to stop and address it,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you are impeding your own progress. This is very important
- 8:41Speaker 1: to understand. Go on about your business and remember Steve
- 8:45Speaker 1: Harvey and remember those of you out there. There is
- 8:48Speaker 1: a Bible verse that helps me out every time. And
- 8:51Speaker 1: I don't know why. I got it on six different
- 8:53Speaker 1: plaques sitting all around my offices. Everywhere I go, I
- 8:56Speaker 1: can read it Isaiah seventeen, No up informed against Michel Prosper.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That because this is that he will put me under
- 9:05Speaker 1: his wings of protection. And this is my inheritance as
- 9:11Speaker 1: a servant of the Lord period. I'm his boy, he
- 9:16Speaker 1: my man, so so did so. So when you're coming
- 9:19Speaker 1: for me, I have to just rest on that Lord
- 9:23Speaker 1: right there, that he got it, that no weapon formed
- 9:27Speaker 1: against Michel Prosper. I'm just like you. Sometimes, you know,
- 9:30Speaker 1: we know better, but sometimes we don't do better. Man.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Let them say what they're gonna say when they get
- 9:35Speaker 1: through saying it. When they get through right now, when
- 9:38Speaker 1: they get through talking about you. When they get through
- 9:40Speaker 1: line about you, guess what they're gonna have to do.
- 9:42Speaker 1: They're gonna have to step back and watch your rise.
- 9:46Speaker 1: They're gonna have to kick back and watch what God
- 9:48Speaker 1: got for you. Because nothing God got for you. Can't
- 9:51Speaker 1: nobody stop it. I don't care what they do. Keep
- 9:55Speaker 1: moving forward while under attack. You know something about to
- 10:00Speaker 1: a something. Minister Louis Faircan taught me something very important
- 10:04Speaker 1: one day, he says, Steve, remember this. He said. It
- 10:08Speaker 1: is a common thing for a dog to balk up
- 10:13Speaker 1: at the moon. But if the moon box back at
- 10:17Speaker 1: the dog, the dog becomes famous. You feel me, the
- 10:22Speaker 1: moon was talking to you. What did you? How did
- 10:26Speaker 1: the moon stop and talk to you? Don't give them that.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Let the dog bark up at the moon. Don't you
- 10:32Speaker 1: be up there? You go where God got you going.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Don't bark back at this dog because the dog come famous,
- 10:37Speaker 1: because they ain't gonna be able to get to you.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But the dog is famous. Now They want to interview
- 10:40Speaker 1: the dog, not a dog. Guess what he's gonna do
- 10:42Speaker 1: more bark and guess what about you? Man? Going about
- 10:46Speaker 1: your business? Y'all? God is in the blessing business all day.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Long man. Go, get in line, get you something, Get
- 10:52Speaker 1: them packages and boxes ship to you. They got your
- 10:55Speaker 1: name on it. Waiting on you, ladies and gentlemen. Let
- 11:04Speaker 1: me have your attention again. I asked you for your
- 11:06Speaker 1: attention every morning. I don't know what's something y'all be
- 11:09Speaker 1: walking around how and making luncheon, getting these kids out,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and keep asking for your attention. The reason I ask
- 11:17Speaker 1: for your attention so you don't miss nothing. To cut
- 11:21Speaker 1: these radio ups and pay attention. Hey, we're doing a
- 11:26Speaker 1: pop quez at eight. I asked you question. Yeah, good morning,
- 11:38Speaker 1: good morning crew. Was having to see you. So okay, junior, morning, nephew,
- 11:43Speaker 1: my dog, let's go. What so Carling? When the birthday party? Now?
- 11:48Speaker 1: My birthday party is this Saturday? Yes, this Saturday. You
- 11:55Speaker 1: want to come? You wanna come to the party? Boy?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Now you know I got a feel little party being
- 12:02Speaker 1: you know how many people minute? You don't hand him
- 12:06Speaker 1: no cash? Gotta plan out. It's gonna be a casino night. Fun.
- 12:14Speaker 1: That's gonna get fun. You gotta roulette. We gotta roulette.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Tape yup? All right, like jack table, craps table, We
- 12:22Speaker 1: got it ready. Sure you don't want to come Steve here,
- 12:25Speaker 1: ain't got no real money. You're not mad? I bring
- 12:30Speaker 1: real money now, I'm gonna won't real money back to
- 12:35Speaker 1: the house that you're gonna break the house there cussing
- 12:39Speaker 1: at your cousins and no good. Well, I ain't gonna
- 12:43Speaker 1: fight the wood and go to host getting my drawls.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Beat up you dog. You don't come up being coude
- 12:53Speaker 1: party talking about you won't all your money? Man getting
- 12:56Speaker 1: all your money? A man to dollar it all? We
- 12:59Speaker 1: get sevent me fine, okay that house three go to
- 13:07Speaker 1: the house. So what do you have, Carl? You got
- 13:10Speaker 1: what roulette? Black jack and a craps table? Just to
- 13:17Speaker 1: be real hood calling you are to really add a dominomino.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Let me tell you that when Gerald Burt was living
- 13:27Speaker 1: gerald House in Pepper Pipe, Gerald had pool table. Gerald
- 13:33Speaker 1: covered up all the holes in the pool table, put
- 13:36Speaker 1: some sides on it, put a new felt on it.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Made a crap table. I'm talking about be down that
- 13:47Speaker 1: gamblets so hot. That's fun. Yeah, celebrations, we were Yeah,
- 13:55Speaker 1: we are probably do something funny in a minute. Yeah
- 14:00Speaker 1: we got something something cute. Okay, well look good too
- 14:03Speaker 1: it Okay, Well that's all you wanted to talk about.
- 14:06Speaker 1: You're good. I ain't got nothing. I ain't got nothing,
- 14:10Speaker 1: you know, I mean you know what else like no, yeah, huh,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I don't talk about well yeah yeah yeah, And were
- 14:26Speaker 1: behind you on this one. Yeah that was your boy man. Yeah. Yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 1: we've been uplifting you in prayer. We got you in
- 14:33Speaker 1: the family. All right, coming up at thirty two after
- 14:36Speaker 1: the hour, guys that we're gonna talk about starting new careers.
- 14:40Speaker 1: What right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show.
- 14:47Speaker 1: All right, Steve this new TV show. It's called The Rookie.
- 14:50Speaker 1: It stars Nathan philly On. Uh. He was. He was
- 14:53Speaker 1: from the TV show Castle. I don't know if you
- 14:56Speaker 1: remember that from his Castle was good. He was a
- 14:59Speaker 1: writer and then in real life he liked to solve murders, yeah,
- 15:02Speaker 1: with the police, and he ended up marrying one of
- 15:04Speaker 1: the police officers. Well, anyway, he's changed TV shows. Now
- 15:08Speaker 1: he's on a show called The Rookie. Like I said,
- 15:11Speaker 1: he plays a forty year old rookie in the l
- 15:14Speaker 1: a PG. Okay, it does look good, doesn't it yet?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Because he's struggling because he's working with all these young
- 15:22Speaker 1: people and right right criminals. He can't keep us. Yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 1: so we wanted to ask everyone, Uh, did did you
- 15:31Speaker 1: start a new career after the age of forty junior?
- 15:34Speaker 1: You just made four? Yeah, but I started a new
- 15:36Speaker 1: career though, what's your new career? Went from being broke
- 15:38Speaker 1: to making some money? It's a whole different careers. You
- 15:43Speaker 1: look different, look a little different. J it's that struggle man.
- 15:59Speaker 1: So I don't think anyone over here, Well, temmy, you
- 16:02Speaker 1: started something different, something started a new career, just old
- 16:06Speaker 1: when just kicked in a new gear. That's what happened
- 16:09Speaker 1: this week. It kicked in a new gear you're talking about. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 16:16Speaker 1: it is here. Your your new TV show, Ready to
- 16:19Speaker 1: Ready to Love, And I am not gonna miss this.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That's new. Yes, that is new. Yeah. What about you, Steve?
- 16:28Speaker 1: I mean you have so many jobs? Do you have
- 16:30Speaker 1: made a career change at fifty five? What I retired
- 16:34Speaker 1: from stand up? Oh? Yeah, thousand twelve? When did you
- 16:41Speaker 1: start stand up? Snow, that's a long time. Well let
- 16:46Speaker 1: me see if seven you could do a new career.
- 16:50Speaker 1: You still and you know what else? You grew some
- 16:54Speaker 1: facial hair, a beard. That was a career. But I
- 16:57Speaker 1: mean it affects your career some someth I need to
- 17:03Speaker 1: know you look deferently. I mean, you know, you just
- 17:06Speaker 1: made a change. That's all I'm saying. You made a
- 17:08Speaker 1: change with You've never liked the beard. No, that's not true, Steve,
- 17:13Speaker 1: that's not true. I've always felt that you never liked it.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Excuse me? Why did you feel that way? Because you
- 17:18Speaker 1: never said nothing? Here? You usually say something. I said,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I liked it. I know I said that to you.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Y'all heard that. I didn't hear here this week? Yeah
- 17:31Speaker 1: you college? Did you ever hear say it? I didn't
- 17:34Speaker 1: hear her say it, But I didn't hear and say
- 17:36Speaker 1: she didn't like it either, though, And I see that
- 17:38Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. She said that mess. She didn't
- 17:41Speaker 1: like it. Steve, I do like I tell you something
- 17:46Speaker 1: and it hurt me. Oh my god, A victim and
- 17:55Speaker 1: victorious victim. Well, you know, after you said everyone else
- 17:59Speaker 1: liked and everything, I didn't think you cared about my opinion.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But surely I have always cared about your opinion. You
- 18:05Speaker 1: have given me your opinion for eighteen straight. Name one thing. Sure,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Let me tell you this, how I knew you was
- 18:15Speaker 1: in my best when I got a divorce. You said,
- 18:19Speaker 1: I'm so happy for you together for so long work.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You know, we had like a brother and sister type
- 18:30Speaker 1: of relationship. So I mean, I feel perfectly comfortable saying
- 18:33Speaker 1: whatever to I walked Shirley down the aisle. I gave away,
- 18:37Speaker 1: just like what I did at the wind. What I
- 18:41Speaker 1: did I didn't done. Sitting the corner drinking. You read
- 18:46Speaker 1: from First Corinthians chapter thirteen about love looking at that
- 18:54Speaker 1: with a Bible. Why was he pushing his glasses up
- 18:57Speaker 1: like he was real. But he's all into it, like
- 19:00Speaker 1: he's serious. I got to watch she got this fool
- 19:03Speaker 1: reading this Bible passage. Because it was important to me
- 19:07Speaker 1: to have everybody in it. I want to you know,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I just wanted everyone to feel a part of it.
- 19:13Speaker 1: You know. Baby five, Carlo's baby Tasha was in and
- 19:17Speaker 1: she was one of my best little flower girls. That's Tasha.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You ain't got in your way. So he feels comfortable.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But it was it was important to me to do that.
- 19:26Speaker 1: It was like having my family and my wedding, and
- 19:28Speaker 1: here was a deal. Every see, everybody don't know Time
- 19:31Speaker 1: me like God. So Time was up there reading the scripture.
- 19:34Speaker 1: That was going yes, no moving. I was going, if
- 19:39Speaker 1: you how big a fool he was? Don't you know
- 19:43Speaker 1: the scripture ain't fit to help him? They said yes,
- 19:48Speaker 1: it was reading the scripture was going, yes, boy just
- 19:53Speaker 1: ain't church. But Steve, I really appreciated you walking me
- 19:58Speaker 1: down though, because I was so nervous. I've never been
- 20:00Speaker 1: that nervous in my life. And you talked to me.
- 20:02Speaker 1: You calmed me down. You really calmed me down. You
- 20:05Speaker 1: were like, take it in, enjoy the moment, just drink
- 20:09Speaker 1: the moment in. You don't have to walk so fast.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Because I thought you were saying no, no, you were down.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I was nervous. I've never been like. She was running up.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You ain't walk really well. I was so nervous. That's
- 20:29Speaker 1: because I was so nervous. She was like, slow down, man,
- 20:31Speaker 1: this was not a stroll up. The drink the moment in.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Drink it in. That's what you were saying. You're going
- 20:39Speaker 1: to get married, You're not escaping from slavery. I was nervous. Yeah, right,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I was so nervous. Oh my god, I was nervous.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Did you have a big wedding before? It was pretty
- 20:57Speaker 1: It was pretty big. Oh wait a minute, first winness
- 21:00Speaker 1: what she is. I guess you can ask those because
- 21:02Speaker 1: enough I'd have asked that, I would have been in
- 21:04Speaker 1: tro I would head. It's not a secret, wasn't it.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Everybody knows this is my second marriage. Everybody knows that
- 21:14Speaker 1: it's not at all. Right. Listen, coming up next, we
- 21:22Speaker 1: gotta go this who you had run that prank back?
- 21:28Speaker 1: With the nephew coming up right after this. You're listening
- 21:31Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 21:34Speaker 1: top of the hour and Entertainment News Steve A saying
- 21:38Speaker 1: you love, don't let your president get your behind whipped.
- 21:41Speaker 1: We'll talk about that, but right now the nephew is

- 22:49Speaker 1: about getting him picked up. I'm trying my best not
- 22:52Speaker 1: to take him in today, so I'm trying to be
- 22:53Speaker 1: a good Samaritan. I'm trying to get someone to come
- 22:55Speaker 1: and pick him up. Hold on, hold on, hold on
- 22:58Speaker 1: Becca Beca, you got my husband? Uh? What I got

- 23:15Speaker 1: not creating any problems. The young lady wasn't creating any problems.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So what we're trying. What we're trying to do is
- 23:21Speaker 1: get somebody to come and pick him up. You don't

- 23:38Speaker 1: from the look though at somebody, she's calling somebody to
- 23:41Speaker 1: pick her up. Now, man, No, no, I can't believe it. Kenny,

- 24:42Speaker 1: I'm here. Yeah, I'm here. I'm here. Okay, man, listen,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I can't. I can't stay here too much longer. I can.

- 28:20Speaker 1: look tall, you know. Yeah yeah, all the clips I've
- 28:24Speaker 1: seen sitting down small. But at that time he had
- 28:32Speaker 1: on glasses too. He wears class. Oh. I thought he
- 28:39Speaker 1: was trying. He was trying to look I was gonna
- 28:44Speaker 1: tell him they's some nicely glasses. Oh man, that's nice.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I thought I thought they would props. No, no, I

- 29:14Speaker 1: lives on to tell me talk about your TV show
- 29:19Speaker 1: before we get out of here. Ready to Love. It
- 29:21Speaker 1: is happening October on the own network. You do not
- 29:25Speaker 1: want to miss it, hosted by your boy yours truly,
- 29:27Speaker 1: it is going down Tuesday night, October ten p m. Eastern,
- 29:32Speaker 1: nine Central. You do not want to miss it. That's
- 29:34Speaker 1: the premier. All right, catch me Tuesday night, Ready to Love?
- 29:38Speaker 1: All right, thinking of you coming up at the top
- 29:40Speaker 1: of the hour and entertainment news, Stephen. The guys I
- 29:43Speaker 1: have been saying, don't let your president be the very
- 29:46Speaker 1: reason you get your behind whipped. Well, now, Steve, your
- 29:48Speaker 1: friend George Lopez, the comedian, agrees with you. Right after this,
- 29:53Speaker 1: we'll talk about it. Okay, you're listening to Steve Harvey Show. Alright,
- 30:01Speaker 1: so Steve Tommy Jr. Here's a story from the saying Steve,
- 30:05Speaker 1: you love the saying don't let your president get your
- 30:07Speaker 1: behind whooped, except for you don't stay behind. But anyway,
- 30:15Speaker 1: say that. This is according to t m Z, Steve
- 30:19Speaker 1: your friend. George Lopez, the comedian attacked a man in
- 30:22Speaker 1: a Hooters restaurant who simply wanted a picture of George
- 30:25Speaker 1: and only used a Trump reference to get George to smile,
- 30:29Speaker 1: so says the man. Now TMZ spoke to the guy
- 30:32Speaker 1: who George Lopez grabbed by the neck in a video
- 30:35Speaker 1: taken at Hooters Hooters in New Mexico. So he grabbed him.
- 30:40Speaker 1: He grabbed a guy by the neck. This is all
- 30:42Speaker 1: on video. Sources close to George initially told TMZ that
- 30:46Speaker 1: George went off after the man had allegedly followed and
- 30:49Speaker 1: egged him on all night with Trump references. The guy
- 30:52Speaker 1: in the video tells a different story, however, saying he
- 30:55Speaker 1: only approached George at his table once that day to
- 30:59Speaker 1: ask for a picture. He says George grabbed his phone
- 31:03Speaker 1: and started filming his own crop. But but he but
- 31:08Speaker 1: he never hit records. So anyway, t MZ was told
- 31:13Speaker 1: George eventually gave the phone back and wanting to make
- 31:17Speaker 1: him smile and ease an awkward situation. Then the guy said,
- 31:21Speaker 1: on account of three say make America great again. Then
- 31:25Speaker 1: George clearly didn't find the comment funny because he was
- 31:29Speaker 1: on his way out of the restaurant when the video started. So,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and I mean, you get two different versions of this story.
- 31:36Speaker 1: So yeah, well, I think the guy is probably gonna
- 31:49Speaker 1: file charges. Ask for for why the guy chose a Mr.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Trump reference. Um, he says he was aware of George's
- 31:57Speaker 1: disgust for Donald Trump and just wanted to crack a joke.
- 32:00Speaker 1: For what it's worth, the guy in the video says
- 32:02Speaker 1: he's a Democrat on paper and police confirmed they got
- 32:05Speaker 1: a call about the scuffle and are looking into the incident.
- 32:09Speaker 1: But what's more sure, what's more importance are the who
- 32:12Speaker 1: the girls? All Right? We don't want them to be
- 32:14Speaker 1: discouraged from coming to work the next We need that
- 32:17Speaker 1: they are they Okay, they're okay, Okay, let's just keep
- 32:22Speaker 1: let's make sure we check on them. Okay, did you
- 32:26Speaker 1: hear anything I said about George Lopez, did he has
- 32:30Speaker 1: a TV show Ready to Love? Who does need a
- 32:36Speaker 1: little too? Who? Who does? In a minute? Ready to Love?
- 32:44Speaker 1: That's your new TV show right on own. You don't
- 32:48Speaker 1: let me say nothing no more? Okay, tell you so, Yes, sir,
- 32:53Speaker 1: your livelihood is now it's like it's shot. Listen to
- 32:58Speaker 1: your uncle. Now is sponsored driven. But Steve, you've managed
- 33:04Speaker 1: to get around it badly. And by the way, you're welcome.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Say you're welcome, Carla, welcome, You're welcome. You're welcome to Steve,
- 33:27Speaker 1: You're welcome. They tried to get me with everything he
- 33:33Speaker 1: got me. Yeah, they tried to give me. Yeah, we
- 33:37Speaker 1: definitely try to try to protect you because we know you.
- 33:40Speaker 1: We know you. But back in l A, back in
- 33:43Speaker 1: the day when we first started on the show, anything
- 33:47Speaker 1: he thought about you, man. I got a call one
- 33:49Speaker 1: time from Susan to pass and Samuel L. Jackson within
- 33:55Speaker 1: five minutes. Okay, look we got we got to say
- 33:59Speaker 1: that time for today's headline. See let's move on before
- 34:03Speaker 1: you say something else. Crazy, ladies and gentlemen, here she
- 34:07Speaker 1: is miss and shrill. Thanks to you, monting everybody. This
- 34:11Speaker 1: is an trip of the news. President Trump says that
- 34:13Speaker 1: his administration has asked Turkey for an audio recording of
- 34:16Speaker 1: what is believed to be proof that Washington Post reporter
- 34:19Speaker 1: Jamaica Shogi was brutally tortured and murdered beheaded as well
- 34:23Speaker 1: inside the Saudi consulate in his stumble. They say within
- 34:26Speaker 1: seven minutes. However, Trump referred to the recording by telling
- 34:29Speaker 1: US reporters a quote, We've asked for it if it exists,
- 34:33Speaker 1: and then he quickly added, oh, it probably does exist.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Up till now, Trump has been indicating that he believes
- 34:38Speaker 1: the Saudi's denial of any involvement, warning of a so
- 34:41Speaker 1: called rush to judgment, while at the same time insisting
- 34:44Speaker 1: that he's not trying to provide any cover for him.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm not giving cover at all. With that being said, so,
- 34:49Speaker 1: the Arabia has been a very important ally of ours
- 34:52Speaker 1: in the Middle East. Me While Secretary State Mike Pompeio
- 34:55Speaker 1: was back from his business Saudi Arabia, where he supposedly
- 34:58Speaker 1: spoke to the Prince about what happened. It itches of
- 35:00Speaker 1: him on the newspapers and stuff, shaking his hand, but
- 35:02Speaker 1: when asked about what he found out, Pompeo pretty much
- 35:05Speaker 1: said he didn't fire anything, and I want to talk
- 35:07Speaker 1: about any of the facts. Uh, they didn't want to either,
- 35:11Speaker 1: and that they want to have the opportunity to complete
- 35:13Speaker 1: this investigation in a thorough white Meanwhile, the headline in
- 35:16Speaker 1: the Washington Post today reads wait and see amid global
- 35:20Speaker 1: outrage over because Shogie Trump tries to protect the saudiast. Okay,
- 35:24Speaker 1: here we go again. This time a white woman in St.
- 35:26Speaker 1: John's County, Florida, call the police on a black man
- 35:29Speaker 1: who was simply cheering his son on at a soccer game,
- 35:32Speaker 1: claiming that she felt threatened. However, another white woman who
- 35:35Speaker 1: witnessed the woman's unnecessary actions posted a video of her
- 35:38Speaker 1: calling police as she sat in a golf cart and
- 35:41Speaker 1: dubbed her golf cart gail. Local cops did not arrest
- 35:44Speaker 1: the soccer dad because he wasn't guilty of anything. Since
- 35:47Speaker 1: the election of Donald Trump, there's been a rash of
- 35:49Speaker 1: white women calling the police on black men, women, and
- 35:52Speaker 1: even children basically doing nothing but trying to live their lives.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Some of these women have ended up losing their jobs.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Golf cart gail and not. Today's aversary of former track
- 36:03Speaker 1: and field superstar Bob Beamon's record setting long jump at
- 36:06Speaker 1: the Mexico City Olympics, a record that's too for twenty
- 36:09Speaker 1: three years and is still an Olympic record to aspire to.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Mike Powell broke Beamon's record at ten eighteen this morning. Folks,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Polks are gonna people are gonna be taking part in
- 36:20Speaker 1: the largest earthquake drill ever. People in California, Ohio, and
- 36:25Speaker 1: Indiana are going to be participating in it. You know,
- 36:27Speaker 1: it's the drop cover whole thing they're gonna be doing
- 36:29Speaker 1: at a ten eighteen this morning. Finally, the death toll
- 36:32Speaker 1: from the Hurricane Michael is now up to thirty three
- 36:36Speaker 1: lost lives, very very sad folks trying to get their
- 36:39Speaker 1: homes back in Florida, parts of Virginia and Georgia. Finally,
- 36:42Speaker 1: today is Love your Body Day. So if you love it,
- 36:44Speaker 1: you know what to do with That's right, move your body.
- 36:52Speaker 1: But stay right there and find out if Uncle Steve
- 36:54Speaker 1: is smarter than his nephew. Moving back twenty minutes after
- 36:56Speaker 1: the hour and Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:00Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Show. Alright, guys, Will Smith, we love him,
- 37:05Speaker 1: uh and we're getting to know him even better. He's
- 37:07Speaker 1: going in deep in season. In the season premiere of
- 37:09Speaker 1: Jada Pinkett's Red Table talk show on Facebook, he opens
- 37:14Speaker 1: up to Jada, his daughter Willow, and his mother in
- 37:17Speaker 1: law about the worst time in their marriage. Will recalls
- 37:20Speaker 1: the time when Jada would wake up and cry every
- 37:23Speaker 1: single morning. Take a listen, and there was a period
- 37:27Speaker 1: where mommy woke up and cried forty five days straight.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I started keeping a diary. Damn you miss some days.
- 37:38Speaker 1: It was every morning. I think that's the worst I've
- 37:42Speaker 1: ever felt in our marriage. I was failing miserably. That's deep.
- 37:50Speaker 1: I want you all to know. There's a thing to
- 37:52Speaker 1: be no treeing. That's something though. I mean for him
- 38:00Speaker 1: to be that transparent and for it to have actually happened,
- 38:02Speaker 1: because we would hear about them going through um, but
- 38:05Speaker 1: never that. Will and Jada got married back. They have
- 38:09Speaker 1: three children. Daughter, Willow is seventeen. They have a son, Jaden,
- 38:12Speaker 1: who's twenty five, and a son, Trey, who's Jaden is
- 38:17Speaker 1: twenty Trey is twenty five from a previous relationship. We've
- 38:20Speaker 1: all heard the split rumors, like I said, multiple times
- 38:23Speaker 1: over the years, but Will and Jada have made it
- 38:25Speaker 1: very clear they have no plans to ever divorce. I
- 38:29Speaker 1: love that. I love them, man, j absolutely, But I'm
- 38:36Speaker 1: gonna tell you, man, it's so hard to be married
- 38:40Speaker 1: and famous because of the Internet and cyberspace and anybody
- 38:45Speaker 1: you know, it has something has to be done about this.
- 38:49Speaker 1: That you can print a story about a person completely
- 38:52Speaker 1: false does nothing that you can do about it if
- 38:57Speaker 1: you go after them. They don't have money. So now
- 39:00Speaker 1: you're just sitting there and you don't have the time
- 39:02Speaker 1: to waste to go after because you're busy trying to
- 39:05Speaker 1: hold your life together. And it's it's very very difficult, man.
- 39:09Speaker 1: So a lot of times when celebrities have difficulties and
- 39:12Speaker 1: it gets out to the media, Oh man, you you
- 39:16Speaker 1: can't heal at the house because here it comes. Then
- 39:20Speaker 1: you got off in you know. I saw y'all ain't
- 39:22Speaker 1: gonna make it. Yeah, yeah, I had a cousin called
- 39:26Speaker 1: me a couple of weeks ago. Bro, you all good man,
- 39:31Speaker 1: wam I thought you was gonna make it with this one.
- 39:36Speaker 1: What you're talking about? I saw on the cover after
- 39:39Speaker 1: uh check out count of man y'all getting a four
- 39:42Speaker 1: hundred million dollars to votes un million dollars. All right, Well,
- 39:49Speaker 1: Margerie Marjorie cracking me up. She said, Steve, let me
- 39:52Speaker 1: ask you something before we split up. Do we have
- 39:54Speaker 1: four hundred millions? I said, gonna sit your ass, she said,
- 40:00Speaker 1: because we got four. I'm not leaving exactly. All right,
- 40:05Speaker 1: Coming up next at thirty four after the hour, we'll
- 40:07Speaker 1: talk some more about marriage. Right after this, you're listening
- 40:10Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Earlier we talked about Will
- 40:14Speaker 1: Smith and Jada Pinkett and how Will said the lowest
- 40:18Speaker 1: point in his marriage to Jada was when Jada cried
- 40:20Speaker 1: for forty five days straight. Will is going to appear
- 40:23Speaker 1: on the season premiere of his wife's Facebook show. It's
- 40:27Speaker 1: called Red Red Table Talk, and he's going to talk
- 40:30Speaker 1: about his marriage. So, Steve, we were kind of getting
- 40:33Speaker 1: into it a little bit about marriage, and I just
- 40:37Speaker 1: wanted to ask you, um for for just some honest
- 40:41Speaker 1: conversation here. What's the one piece of advice you think
- 40:44Speaker 1: all couples need to know for a successful marriage. Well,
- 40:48Speaker 1: even though you're married, I think it's important that you
- 40:52Speaker 1: maintain a level of individuality. Absolutely. I think a lot
- 40:57Speaker 1: of people go into marriage and think, Okay, we do
- 41:00Speaker 1: everything together with all our money is together, all our
- 41:03Speaker 1: time is together. Uh you got And then here's the
- 41:06Speaker 1: other mistake. You got to make me first and make
- 41:10Speaker 1: me happy. Um, you have to. First of all, let's
- 41:13Speaker 1: addressed to the part about individuality. A person has to
- 41:19Speaker 1: be able to have some hobbies that they enjoy, whether
- 41:24Speaker 1: you like it or not. You know a person still.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You know, if you married a guy that likes to
- 41:30Speaker 1: play dominoes with his boys, and now you're married, now
- 41:34Speaker 1: you want to shut down the domino with his boys,
- 41:36Speaker 1: that that ain't right. You got a wife who love
- 41:41Speaker 1: going to whine night with her girls. Now you're married,
- 41:44Speaker 1: now you don't want to out with a girl cause
- 41:46Speaker 1: some of them single. Hold our partner, she still has
- 41:49Speaker 1: the right to have some form of individuality. So I
- 41:54Speaker 1: think that's the biggest mistake man, because if you try
- 41:58Speaker 1: to spend every way, com minute with a person and
- 42:01Speaker 1: and lose yourself in it, you're going to be resentful
- 42:06Speaker 1: and you're going to be unhappy. Second part, I learned
- 42:12Speaker 1: this from a minister. It is not your job to
- 42:18Speaker 1: make another person happy, nor should you make it yours,
- 42:24Speaker 1: because man, that's an impossible task man to be to
- 42:29Speaker 1: deal with that be to be responsible for another person's happiness. Man,
- 42:33Speaker 1: do you know how hard that is hard? And man,
- 42:37Speaker 1: let me tell you something I lived that I felt
- 42:41Speaker 1: totally responsible for a person's happiness and it killed mine.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I had none because it's hard enough keeping yourself together.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Life is hard. So those are the two things that
- 42:56Speaker 1: I think you know you can get into financing all that.
- 42:59Speaker 1: But man, if a person is not allowed to be still,
- 43:05Speaker 1: hang on the pieces of who they are, Like like
- 43:08Speaker 1: if Marjorie didn't want me playing golf anymore, or didn't
- 43:12Speaker 1: want me going to Vegas gambling no more, hein't hold up.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Now if I told her she couldn't travel with her
- 43:20Speaker 1: girls no more, or she loved going places, well I'm working.
- 43:25Speaker 1: You can't go because I'm working. Well, hell, I work
- 43:27Speaker 1: all the time? Right that I feel you, Steve, Because
- 43:30Speaker 1: if Nest all of a sudden wanted me to cook, Jesus,
- 43:34Speaker 1: are you serious. I haven't been cooking, not cooking, cooking,
- 43:44Speaker 1: killing many at cooking all of a sudden, right, just
- 43:50Speaker 1: it's just dealing food that you'll have, just just sandwiches.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Well not right now, not right now, we have to
- 43:56Speaker 1: go to the grocery store. But ain't nothing at unless
- 44:01Speaker 1: he bring it. Just said it, Steve just said it.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Don't lose your sense of self. Thank you, Steve. Okay,
- 44:16Speaker 1: all right, tell me I want to hear from you.
- 44:17Speaker 1: What do you have to say? Let's say something. Yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 1: what's the best space of advice you can get for
- 44:27Speaker 1: me for my marriage? Compromise all the fellows that listen,
- 44:31Speaker 1: compromise me for you giving in not being right all
- 44:37Speaker 1: the time? That's right? Uh huh, all right, listen. Hit
- 44:42Speaker 1: us up on social media Steve Harvey FM to comment
- 44:45Speaker 1: on this subject. Coming up at the top of the
- 44:47Speaker 1: hour right about four minutes after. It's today's Strawberry letter.
- 44:51Speaker 1: That right, the prank all the time? All right, Hit

- 45:57Speaker 1: Everything is cool at the job. This this right here,
- 45:59Speaker 1: man is like what I know? This man? And if
- 46:02Speaker 1: you know, it just seems like every single day, you know,
- 46:05Speaker 1: while she's on her lunch break, it seems like you know,
- 46:08Speaker 1: you would call and and and uh and then blocked
- 46:12Speaker 1: off the whole hour of her lunch break and actually,
- 46:15Speaker 1: you know, just be real, man, I'm just trying to
- 46:16Speaker 1: come correct with you. It just seems like you just
- 46:18Speaker 1: cut in on all the time that I have that
- 46:21Speaker 1: I had with her. What well, whoa whoa whoa? Hold
- 46:24Speaker 1: hold hold up on, hold on, hold up, broke way

- 46:39Speaker 1: that's my lady, Okay, I can call her whenever the

- 46:43Speaker 1: them phone, Jill. I bought that iPhone five I could
- 46:46Speaker 1: get whenever please. All right. Secondly, you ain't got no
- 46:50Speaker 1: business being with a married woman alone at lunch. There
- 46:54Speaker 1: ain't no date. You're supposed to be at work. No,
- 46:56Speaker 1: we are at work. We call im saying we call workers.
- 46:59Speaker 1: You know. Here it seemed like half the whole time
- 47:02Speaker 1: I'm sitting in front of her, you know, we're supposed

- 47:06Speaker 1: the whole Uh. But what's what's your name? Beeting? Derek? There?

- 50:39Speaker 1: gonna change, okay does Here's here's what you don't know.

- 54:31Speaker 1: That's all we got today. We're ready neck, Let's go up.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Hold on tight. Here it is the straw Baby letter.
- 54:40Speaker 1: You're gonna love this letter, Steve subject. I'm a star,
- 54:43Speaker 1: but my friends say I suck. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:48Speaker 1: forty nine years old, but I look thirty. Praise the Lord.
- 54:53Speaker 1: I'm an entertainer by nature. I love life, and I
- 54:57Speaker 1: celebrated every day. I'm high energy and always the life
- 55:01Speaker 1: of the party wherever I go. Recently, I started an
- 55:05Speaker 1: Instagram account to showcase my talent, and I have a
- 55:08Speaker 1: few hundred followers that like my work. I learned from you, Steve,
- 55:13Speaker 1: that it's never too late to pursue your dreams. So
- 55:16Speaker 1: here's my issue. It's never too late. So here's my issue.
- 55:25Speaker 1: My so called friends told me that I'm not as
- 55:27Speaker 1: good as I think I am, and when they come
- 55:29Speaker 1: to my shows, it's just for a good laugh. They
- 55:33Speaker 1: told me that they have been laughing at me and
- 55:35Speaker 1: not with me for the longest time, but they didn't
- 55:38Speaker 1: have the heart to tell me. Can you imagine how
- 55:42Speaker 1: I felt. I was down and felt defeated at first,
- 55:45Speaker 1: but then I said scrow them. I miss hanging out
- 55:49Speaker 1: with my friends, but I know in my soul that
- 55:52Speaker 1: I'm bound for greatness. What should I do now? I
- 55:55Speaker 1: need support and positive input, not a bunch of haters
- 55:58Speaker 1: laughing at me. Do I go from here? Should I
- 56:01Speaker 1: stay on track and pursue my passion or listen to
- 56:04Speaker 1: my hating friend. I want to leave my job and
- 56:07Speaker 1: pursue this full time, so please help me. I don't
- 56:11Speaker 1: want to make a big mistake. Well, um, this entire letter,
- 56:15Speaker 1: you didn't say what your talent is you. You didn't
- 56:19Speaker 1: say if you were a singer, dancer, actress, comedian, et cetera.
- 56:23Speaker 1: You didn't say, I'm guessing possibly a comedian. Since you
- 56:26Speaker 1: say they're laughing at you and not with you, I
- 56:29Speaker 1: knew you were gonna say that, Steve, Uh, she could
- 56:31Speaker 1: be a singer, though, I'm sure when they told you that. Yes,
- 56:35Speaker 1: of course you felt defeated. Not to mention hurt, and
- 56:38Speaker 1: you are right. It's never too late to pursue your dreams.
- 56:41Speaker 1: You shouldn't give up on your dreams. Uh. Many talented
- 56:44Speaker 1: people say, uh, you know they got their starts later
- 56:47Speaker 1: in life. And maybe your friends are hating you. Don't know.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So what I say to you is you need to
- 56:52Speaker 1: get in front of some professionals who can really tell you,
- 56:56Speaker 1: you know, if you have some talent or not, and
- 56:59Speaker 1: you can and you know, then decide if it's something
- 57:02Speaker 1: you want to pursue. But please, Lord, please do not
- 57:06Speaker 1: quit your job before you get a professional opinion. Okay,
- 57:09Speaker 1: because I hate to say it, but but what if
- 57:12Speaker 1: your friends are writing, then you quit your job. Okay,
- 57:14Speaker 1: don't do that, all right, Just get in front of
- 57:16Speaker 1: some professionals. Um, you know, if you have some tapes,
- 57:19Speaker 1: if you have some videos and stuff, send them around,
- 57:22Speaker 1: uh to see what they think. Some real people, all right,
- 57:25Speaker 1: who are in the business. All right, Steve, you ain't
- 57:28Speaker 1: gonna do none of that. Later here to professional right here,
- 57:32Speaker 1: Let's just go and get this. Cut the music off,
- 57:35Speaker 1: make sure she hit me clear this off. Let me
- 57:39Speaker 1: show you line by line how this is not good.
- 57:43Speaker 1: I'm forty nine years old, but I look thirty to
- 57:49Speaker 1: who I'm forty nine years old, but I looked thirty.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Who next line? Praise the Lord? Ready for this one.
- 58:08Speaker 1: I'm an entertainer by nature. The hell do that? Meat,
- 58:14Speaker 1: I'm an entertainer by nature. I'm assuming nature is an
- 58:22Speaker 1: offshoot of the word natural, meaning I'm an entertainer naturally. Now,
- 58:33Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. When you're naturally an entertainer,
- 58:37Speaker 1: it don't mean you're good at it. Your ass just
- 58:42Speaker 1: like a fool around and clown. And then here you come.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Just what I thought. I love life. I celebrated every day.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm high energy. I'm always the life of the party
- 58:57Speaker 1: wherever I go. Okay, you know how many people is
- 59:05Speaker 1: that ain't making a damn dollar at it? You ready
- 59:11Speaker 1: for you next one? I started in Instagram account showcase
- 59:16Speaker 1: my talent. I have a few hundred followers that like
- 59:20Speaker 1: my work. Uh excuse me. I don't know how long
- 59:25Speaker 1: you've been doing this, but a few hundred is like
- 59:29Speaker 1: three hundred people that like your work. There's people that
- 59:34Speaker 1: sit on Instagram all day and hit that little heart
- 59:37Speaker 1: say they like something. Now, it's a lot of people
- 59:41Speaker 1: that ain't got no talent that's on Instagram liking people
- 59:46Speaker 1: other people that ain't got talent. Baby, that don't mean
- 59:50Speaker 1: nothing has any there mask you can they buy your
- 59:54Speaker 1: music or anything. She a singing, Shelly, she's singing in
- 59:59Speaker 1: a bad wady, but she a bad one now because
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: she stopped singing and just started explaining stuff to people,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: then jump right back into song. She like a musical, Yeah,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: she's like a music Oklahoma. Yeah, she'll be talking you
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: know what. And then it's came to me. I been
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: looking for love and I find did in. That's what
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: I did, girl, I found loving that Okay. Then this
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: is where the letter takes an ugly turn. I learned
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: from you, Steve. See. I don't like getting drug into
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: this type mess right here because I ain't seen you.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: So if you're for the nine, I definitely ain't told
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you you look thirty. Ah. I'm an entertainer for real,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: not by nature. It's what I do. My Instagram. Ain't
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: got to three people on here liking my work. M
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I don't know, lady, just say looking good. So here's
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: my issue. My so called friends told me I'm not
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: as good as I think I am, and when they
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: come to my shows it's just for a good lad.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: They told me they've been laughing at me and not

- 1:01:31Speaker 1: had a heart attend when they just told you. Helen.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Now I'm here to tell you too. Surely talking about
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: a professional opinion. I'm gonna give it to you right

- 1:02:12Speaker 1: they molding I'm a star, but my friends say our sun. Now,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: if this is all this is a contradictory, see this.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: This this letter goes downhill. I'm forty nine, but I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: look thirty. Right there. She's been in the middle a lot.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I'm entertained by nature. I got a few hundred followers
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: that like my work. You're farty nine. You got three
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: hundred people. You're farty nine. You ain't got the three
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: hundred people you're farty nine. See Tommy fit, Tommy Phillip,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: comedy clubs, venues sell out all over the country, kills
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: selling our shows. These dudes is frame us. You can't

- 1:03:10Speaker 1: she needs a professional opinion. See, you can't go no
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: what anybody about now take it to see you. The
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: fact that you won't tell us what you do is
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: a sign that you must not do it. Well. I'm
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: entertaining and I'm with Shelly. Now do you tell jokes
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: or do you sing? Or is it a combination? Or
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: is it when you start singing? It's a damn joke.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: My so called friends told me I'm not as good
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: as I think I am, and when they come to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: my shows, it's just for a good laugh. They told
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: me that they've been laughing at me and not with
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: me for the longest. So you might be telling jokes
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: or trying to do something, but they didn't have a
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: heart to tell me. Can you imagine how I feel?
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Let me tell you I can't. I can't relate to

- 1:04:15Speaker 1: come back and try to sit down. I make people
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: balled up in a knot. I have people face hurting,
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: spitting drinks out. Ain't that what we do? Tommy junior side.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Now can you imagine how I felt? Now? Hell, no,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: we came. I was down and felt defeated at first,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: but then I said, screw them. I miss hanging out
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: with my friends. But I know in my soul here, well,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: here go my favorite. But I know in my soul
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: that I'm bound for greatness. You know that's probably heaven.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: That's probably what you're bound for greatness. Yeah, you've brought
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: up soul and bound. Your soul is probably bound for health,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: and you probably real nicely so you'll sound that you
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: think it's bound for great Now you're just gonna go
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: to heaven, which is even better than being down here
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: and being a successful entertained by nature. What should I do?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: I need support and positive input, put not a bunch
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: of haters laughing at me. Okay, cool, here's some positive input.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Shirley told you, whatever you do, don't quit your damn day.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: John Shatty told you that I agree with Shirley. What
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Shary said, whatever you do, don't quit your job. You said,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: where do I go from here? Should I stay on
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: track and pursue my passion? You are not on track.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You ain't got no track. You got three hundred likes
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: on Instagram. Don't don't base them on that or listen
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: to my hating friends. I want to leave my job
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and pursue this full time, don't you do? Shirley said,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: whatever you do, don't you quit your damn job. You're
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: gonna starve. Let me explain to you what you're gonna do.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Listen to me. If you quit your job, You're gonna
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: have to find a refrigerator box. What you're listening to me,

- 1:06:32Speaker 1: You have to find yourself a grocery car. Gotta have
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: that car. You gotta have that car. Then in that
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: grocery car, you're gonna have to find your air conditioning
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: to put in it. Then you're gonna need to start
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: collecting clothes and put all of them on at the
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: same time. You got the layer. Then then you're gonna
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: become record Nasable, Act one. And then you're gonna be
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: sitting somewhere at the bus stop talking to your day.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: And then some of your friends gonna be in their
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: car on their way to work and look over there
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: and they're not gonna be showish you because all of
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: a sudden your asses fitting looking every bit a sixty nine. Yeah,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what's happening. She says, she learned
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: from you. It's damn thing for me. Learn this from me.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Learn it's never too late to pursue your dream. Just
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: change your dream. You're not gonna be an entertainment if
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you're forty nine and you ain't made a check. First
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: of all, they don't give fifty year old people record deals.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Ye she's a singer. Yeah. See, if you're a singer,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: they're not gonna get your record deal because they give
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: you record deals for three records. Ain't even no promise
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: you're gonna be here to do the third album. Hen,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you how they don't do it.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Now listen to me. Now, you got just gross your

- 1:09:08Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: top of the hour, Carla is going to spill the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: tea with Carla's reality update. But right now from the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Talk it is our girl introduced her Stay, ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I'm hoping she heard what I said to the Strawberry
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: Letter and she can reaffirm and fix Sheryl Underwood, You're
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: absolutely right, Steve Harvey. Let me tell you. Let me
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: tell me how I write your eye, then listen to me.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Um in my mid fifth is close to sixties, two
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: hundred and fifteen pounds. Let me tell you the things
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: that somebody should have told me. I was never gonna
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: be in the figure skating out. Don't even at the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: black girl used to figure skate whippo. Lord, I thought
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I was gonna be that listen to me. You are
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: right state. I thought I was gonna be shall you know,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: a Van Dela or some Remember I told you I
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: thought I was gonna be in the caravans. I thought
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: avote the walkers and listen, you give up drinking a cussin.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: You can't sing with nobody. You know. I had to
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: shout out appetite walker. Listen me, Seve. You A lot
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: of people would would save a lot of time and
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: energy if they focused on you. Got to know where
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the blessing from God comes. And sometimes the blessing from
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: God is clarity. There are things that I would never
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: be a gymnastic person. First of all, I can't get
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: on that little piece of wood and give it you around.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: It don't work. Don't work. I'm too fat for that.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: I can't. I can't do that. Oh, let me tell
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: you what. I'm never gonna be ready a vegetarian because
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: you got to be real. Your friends be real with you. Listen.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I love vegetables, but I like a pork chop next
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to my green, next to my cabbage. I'm gonna keep
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: it real. The Lord directed me to where I need
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: to go. So Steve, you're absolutely right now it may
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: be harsh, but some people want to project. They fantasy
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: on you for you to coach side. It ain't gonna happen. No, sir, No,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: sir member, Steve member. I came to you and I said,
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: listen to me, Steve me, you could recreate Sam for
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: the Sun. I said, you gonna be. You're gonna be
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: fred Gie. I said, I got woodrowed down. Id. Yes, man,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: I could do a good wood or graded. Listen to me.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Remember slapping White was on that. I said, oh, I
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: didn't do slapping right because the one the page is
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: too good for me to try to duplicate. You got
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: to know limits. You got to know what your talent is.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: And then don't step out on something and then say
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: God don't want you to have it. God didn't tell
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you to get it. You can't sign you ain't. Everybody
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: don't need to sing in the qua, so you're messing
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: up the service right there. Everybody's saying sometime you need
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: to be in something else. A deacon. You know you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: need to be on the usher board. Everybody can't sign that.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: You're telling people right, and you're saving people to not
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: get taking advantage of. But before I go while we're
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: talking about taking advantage. Voter suppression is real. So I'm
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: just gonna tell you why we truly here making you
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: laugh and making you think. Now, what's going on in
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Georgia is letting people know where they got something. Where
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: your names to look exactly the way it is on
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: your driving licenser. But they can't put your name all
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: on your driving lins So when you do register to vote,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you may have a slightly different name because all that
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: don't fit on your car. Why am I telling you this.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: We got to vote, and it's your state. That's why
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: your state assembly person, that's where they start the suppression.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: We must be ready now. You must get your absentee.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Ballet fill it out right, don't mess it up. Use
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: black and blue ink. Do what you need to do.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Why did God put us here? Because we are the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: new messengers. You must be ready because voter suppression is real,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: and it's real for black and brown and disenfranchised white people. So, Steve,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: if you're telling people something, if you are alive, do
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: what God bless you to do. Do what God bless
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you to do. Don't make no fantasy in your mind,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: but what's real. We gotta get out there and vote,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: because that's your quality of life right there, your quality
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: of your vote. Vote. So you can't sign standing on
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: stage thinking your ass is something by nature. Because you
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: go down to the apolo they still booing people down
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: there to tell you something, I can clear it up
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: for you in the one night night come on with me.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I got down there. You ain't got to want to
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: know more. If you got no more, let you know
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: and let me tell you something. I want to take
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you to Apollo, not on the TV show. I want
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: you to go on Wednesday night. Night is amateur night.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Wheen'sday night is amate night. Oh it's it's the stuff
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: that can't get at. That's right, that's rude, that's right.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: You got to know these things. You got to know
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: what you could do. You know, Getting Graham Central Station
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: with Larry Graham, and Larry Graham said, look, only one
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: of us can have a mustache, only one in love.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: We have good from passion, that compassion one to you
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: here the seat ready you sound like sound like? Sound
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: that good here? Crushing dreams, crushing dreams right now. I
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: thought I was close to Larry Graham. You were, You
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: were right, man, listen man, me and Steve, were gonna
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: do this bit where I was gonna be offense Trilis
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: dog man. Let'm say something, y'all the most fun I need?
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Why could that need? Sound with a buckle? We gotta go.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: We thank you so much. As always coming up at
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Carla's Reality Update. You're listening
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Tommy, let's get it.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: It's that time, ladies and gentlemen callers Reality Update. Thank
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: you that few. Here we go season finale. By now,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: you guys have seen the season finale of Braxton Family Values.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Did you guys see it? Surely? Did you see ya? Yeah? Wait, okay,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: so Eya tried to have to Braxton come on see
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you was on that lett him have it play. That's right, Steve,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: you saw it, and you know probably with probably thought
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: wasn't gone wrong with huh. Yeah, in the beginning, you
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: are absolutely correct. In the beginning it was a two
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: part uh series or episode a season finale. There was
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: some some some ongoing issues, you know with the sisters.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: They've been beefing and uh during part one of the show,
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: your girl Tamar, she wasn't having it. She was just
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: upset with because you know how Iyana, you know, on
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: her show Fixed Fix My Life. You're know she can
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: get in your face and you know the way that
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: she tries to get people to open up. Yeah, and
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Tamar really wasn't feeling that. She wasn't feeling her method
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: and how she was trying to do that. But ian La,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: she was kind of sick of the Braxton's to Uh.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: There was a part of the show where Tamar was late,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Tony was late, and so Sheila ian left and say,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: y'all need to get your stuff together and when you're
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: ready to get it together, then we'll talk. Next day
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: rolls around. Uh, Eyana talks about the issues and trying
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: to get to the root of the problem and what's
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: really going on with these women, with these sisters. And
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Tamar was being disrespectful to ellan La and you know
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: how she does with her her man Torhysm and yes, yes,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: well her mother Evelyn had enough. Take a listen, where
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: calm down. Whether you agree with a yell not, you
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: cannot disrespect her because none of you were raised that way.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Tell her what you feel, but it's a way to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: do it, baby, So I'm not doing respect your eldest.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Let's go with what the word you want to go
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: with the word, I got this train. Not say anything
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: when I'm sorry. We will. I'm telling you right darned now,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: you say one more world and I got you. We
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: will respect her. I make myself clear. I see the hurt.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I know you're hurt. I'm disrespected him. You're going to come.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: She's frustrated for a lot of things. There's a lot
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: that's going on with Tamar, and that's why we're here.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Give yourself a chance. Whoa n that's a black mom, right,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: you got one more time? Yeah, I got my disrespected,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: respect your elders. That's how we were always. You can't
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: get your as she said, I got you got she said,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you got one more time. And then Trina, the other sister,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: was gonna say something. You heard her mama said I
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: got this train. And she was like, oh, I'm sorry, MoMA,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: sit back, I got this. If that ain't my mama.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: At that Thanksgiving table, somebody say something else that I
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: got some quiet up in there because my daddy looked
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: up from eating. Now let's let be all say say
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: something else. And then you say something damn false. So man,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: my father, Hey dog, my dad at Thorpe played it
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: with your food on it. Man, I'll something, man, it's
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: something wrong with my damn dad, I'd man not. Yeah. So,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: you know, back to Ian and the Braxton's, she talked
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: to Miss Evelyn and Mr Michael, you know, the parents
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: and their marital issues. They were saying. She was trying
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: to get them to understand that is a problem that
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: was a problem with the children, with the daughters and
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: how they are behaving and treating each other. And then
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Tony Tony dropped the bombshell. She admitted to Illanla that
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: she didn't like her family. Really, Tony Tony said this, yes, yes,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: the one. That's what she said at the It's been
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: times where she just did not like her family. And
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: that was just a moment where Iyana had them do
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: like an exercise and they had to confess. I think
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: about it. He having these moments, Carla. Yeah, didn't Miss
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Evelyn say that? Um when when they had the one
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: on one that she didn't know the man talking about
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: her her current ex husband. She didn't know him now
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: he was dead to her. Yeah, because of Miss Evelyn
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: said that about Mr Michael, which is you know, the father,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: her ex husband, and you know, they got a divorce.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: He cheated on her, and so what Yalla was saying,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: y'all's relationship has affected your daughters and your behavior and
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: and and the messiness of the divorce. And so she
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: was saying that he was dead to her and that
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: because he cheated on he he crushed her, crushed Miss Evelyn,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: and she never it seems like it's been a very
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: long road for her to forgive him, you know, for that.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: So it was it was a good episode. Tracy, she
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: had some issues too because she you know, the sisters,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this, but they held
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: out for midseason contract negotiations with the WEE TV network,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and so they all decided that they weren't gonna go
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: back and do the show Braxton Family Values. But Tracy
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: went back to work, and so she said that she
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: felt like the sisters labeled her as a trader. But
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: she said she needed the money, she needed her check,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and she needed to go she needed to go to work,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: and and you know, that was pretty much it. At
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: the end of the shower, Well, they showed her family
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: for a few episodes in her life, and what she
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: was going through and then you know, finally that was it,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: and then Tamar did at heartfelt apology and assistance. Yes, yeah,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: she did a very hardfelt apology and some of the
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: sisters that they finally believed her at that moment. So
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: I guess child the practice, they're gonna try to work
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it out. Go to Lipspark, Carla, if you want to
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: comment on more, we will be back at twenty after
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: the hour. That is Reality Updates. You're listening to morning show.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: All right, nephew, we're gonna make this this segment right here,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: all about you. You have a brand new show called
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Ready to Love Us on own congratulations, tell us about it.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Ready to Love this is. This is what I like
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: about it is. It's a dating game. Now it's a
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: it's a dating show. It's in Atlanta. Okay. You start
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: out with with twelve beautiful ladies. You start out with
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: eight men. They go out on dates with one another.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: They come back, we talk about Me and the fellas
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: talk about it together. Me and the ladies. We sit down,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: we talk about it. They get they get to bounce
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: things off of me on each side, and they get
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to let me know what they're going through. But what's
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: bad is when you got the fellas who actually who
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: actually want to go out with the ladies, tell them
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: a whole bunch of stuff that they really ain't feeling.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: You're lying to them, you're running game on them. And
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: it's my job to stop all the game. Cracked the
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: whip on these boys as hard as I can so
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: they can go over there and actually try to find
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: true love and treat these ladies with the utmost respect.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: The ladies they tied up it. They and their thirties,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: they forties, They hadn't been around the block before, some
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: of them been married, some of them have children. And
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: you know they they you know, their career driven. They
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: got it going around the girl women man. And the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: main thing is they're not for your game. And they
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: and they're letting them out, letting they're calling them out
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: on it. They calling these brothers to the table about
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: running this game. If this is really what you're looking for,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: put up a shut up. This one right here is
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: completely different because when you see, you might see a
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: guy go out with this girl one week and you said,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: you know what they're gonna make. It's gonna beat them too.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: And then you turn around the next week and be
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: like what I there he didn't want a whole different direction,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: or she don't even want him no more. It changes
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: a lot. That's a lot. You go tell me what's
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: your role? What exactly do you do on the show?
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: I mean, I'm the host. I am the person that
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: that that navigates you through the entire show. This season,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: it's me. I'm letting you know what's going on. Who
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: went out with who, what happened I bring I make
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: these guys sit down and tell me. Explain your day
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: to me, tell me what happened or and when it's
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: time for someone to eliminate someone, I put it on
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: the guys or on the girls. Ladies. You guys have
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: to let these two men go. Whoever it is you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: want or fellas, you gotta take them out and tell
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: them they gotta go. So it's it's it's it's tight,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: it's twist and turns about the whole ten weeks. I
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: can't yes, I like, is the premier ten Eastern nine Central?
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: You do not want to miss it? Only on network? Well,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: how you feeling it's good? I'm gonna give you this
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: one free. Tommy. You should inform men because once you
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: get to these grown women that then't had enough of
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: games and they're really looking for something serious. There are
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: women you can just play with their own Instagram, their
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: own Tender. They swipe white, swipe left, look for hook ups.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: You know it's some women out there that's for this,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: but they're probably gonna be younger. So take your old
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: thirty five forty year old behind down on Tender and
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: get to swipe and ripe, swipe left because they know
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: it's called the hook up app. And there are a
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: lot of women on that is just looking for casual date.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Go play with them. There's women who really want to
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: play nowadays. It's sad, but it is. I don't recommend it,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: but you should say to the fellas, stop playing with
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: these grown women. Man, exactly, get over there on tend
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: to play with somebody that want to play because they're
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: young and they all know no. All right, Uh more
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up right after this.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: So Steve Tommy Jr. Here's a story from the saying, Steve,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: you love the saying, don't let your president get your
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: behind whooped except for you don't stay behind. But anyway,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: this is according to t m Z, Steve your friend,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: George Lopez, the comedian attacked a man in a Hooters
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: restaurant who simply wanted a picture of George and only
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: used a Trump reference to get George to smile, so
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: says the man. Now TMZ spoke to the guy who
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: George Lopez grabbed by the neck in a video taken
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: at Hooters Hooters in New Mexico. So he grabbed him.
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: He grabbed the guy by the neck. This is all
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: on video. Sources close to George initially told TMZ that
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Orge went off after the man had allegedly followed and
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: egged him on all night with Trump references. The guy
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: in the video tells a different story, however, saying he
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: only approached George at his table once that day to
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: ask for a picture. He says, George grabbed his phone
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: and started filming his own crop. But but he but
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: he never hit records. So anyway, t MZ was told
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: George eventually gave the phone back and wanting to make
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: him smile and ease an awkward situation. Then the guy said,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: on account of three say make America great again. Then
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: George clearly didn't find the comment funny because he was
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: on his way out of the restaurant when the video started.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: So and I mean, you get two different versions of
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: this story. So yeah, man, somebody filing charges. Well, I
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: think the guy is probably gonna file charges. Ask for
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: for why the guy chose a Mr. Trump reference? Um,
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: He says he was aware of George's disgust for Donald
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Trump and just wanted to crack a joke. For what
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: it's worth, the guy in the video says he's a
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Democrat on paper and police confirmed they got a call
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: about the scuffle and are looking into the incident. But
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: what's more sure, what's more importance are the who the girls?
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: All right? We don't want them to be discouraged from
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: coming to work the next We need that they are
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: they Okay, They're okay, Tony, Okay, let's just keep Let's
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: make sure we check on them. Okay, did you hear
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: anything I said about George Lopez or a TV show
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Ready to Love? Who does need a little too? Who?
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: Who does? In a minute? Ready to Love? That's your
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: new TV show right on own. You don't even let
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: me say nothing, No, more can tell you. So, yes, sir,
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: your livelihood is now it's like shot listen to your
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: uncle now it is. It's sponsored driven. But Steve, you've
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: managed to get around it badly. And by the way,
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: you're welcome that You're welcome. Carla, you're welcome. You're welcome.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: You're welcome. Steve, You're welcome. They tried to get me
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: with everything when they got me. Yeah, they tried to
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: give me. Yeah. We definitely try to try to protect
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: you because we know you. We know you. All right,
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: we're coming back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, this is our last break
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: of the day. Steve's clothes thing remarks. You don't want
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: to miss it. It's been a good day. We'll be
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: back at forty nine after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, here we are, last
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: break of the day, Steve. I know you have some
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: closing remarks for us today. What you got I mean, man, um,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: I've I've read some good books, man, Bishop Jake's books
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: are basic instincts. Great book, man, just a great book.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: I really, for the most part, only have the time
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: to read certain types of books and the types of
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: books I usually choose to read a self help books,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: you know, books where I can improve myself. You know
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: that would include the Bible. But there are some books
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: out there that I've written spiritually base that are very
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: very helpful. Also, and Joel Olstein has a book I
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: think I told you a little bit about it earlier
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: this The name of the book is Next Level Thinking.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Next Level Thinking says it all because let me explain something.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. If you want to
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: get to the next level, if you don't want to
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: stay where you are, if you want to elevate yourself
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: and get to the next level, you're going to have
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: to change your current thinking. See listen to me, y'all.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: All of us have thought ourselves to where we are now.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: We ain't got nobody else to blame. Oh, you can
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: choose to do it that way. Well, if they hadn't
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: done me wrong, if I hadn't lost my job, I
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: got all that. Things do happen in life. Admittedly, things
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: come along that we have no control over that can
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: set us back at times. I am fully aware of that.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: But in order to grow, you've got to pick up
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: the slack and take the aim because you can't change
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: another person. You can't make another person be something you
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: want them to be. You can't stop everybody from hating
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: on you. You can't stop the plant from closing. You
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: might not be able to stop foreclosure on your home.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: You might not be able to get that child of
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: yours to graduate for nothing in the world. So there
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: are things that are going to happen that you have
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: no control over. The one thing you can really control
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: is you. You can do something about you. So here's
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: the deal. If you are somewhere in life and you
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: desire to go to the next level. In order to
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: get to the next level, I don't care who you are,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: you have to change some thinking. If I want to
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: get to the next level that I'm trying to accomplish,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: I have to change some of my current thinking. Because
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: we've all thought ourselves to where we are right now.
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: We are all a product of our thoughts and actions,
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: all of us, all of us, every last one of us.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: We are partly responsible and greatly responsible for where we
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: are now. Thank you for the grace of God that
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: many of us are in places that we we couldn't
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: have possibly worked ourselves into. And I want to volunteer
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: my hand and stick it up in the air because
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: I am one of those people. My life is covered
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: with God's grace. I'll give him that. But let me
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: explain something to you. If I don't put the work in,
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: what can God? What does God put his finger on
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: to bless? So what I'm saying is, we've all thought
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: ourselves to where we are, and thank God for his
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: grace that we are all. Some of us are further
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: long than we even should be. I'm included. But if
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: you have any intention of growing, expanding, developing, being more successful,
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: being happier, being uh more well liked, being more meaningful,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: more impactful of a person. You want to be effective
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: in more people's lives. You want to be a catalyst
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: for change, you are going to have to change your thinking.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: It will not happen unless you change your thinking. So
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: as well as you might think I've been I'm doing,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: I want you to know something. The plan that I
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: have for myself, the one that I'm confiding in God
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: with on a daily basis, has required, as Joelo's Things
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: book says, that you're gonna have to develop some next
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: level thinking. I met with a billionaire one time, and
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: I'm feeling okay about myself, and I'm at this house
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: and I'm realizing, Man, this dude right here is on
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: some whole another. And as we got to talking after
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: hours and hours, he says, Steve, Steve, you're gonna have
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: to elevate your thinking. I said, man, I'm a really
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: positive person. He said, yeah, well, you're gonna have to.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Let me see the phrase he used to me. He's
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: I can't think of the exact phrase he said to me,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: but I got the message. You're gonna have to big
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: up meaning you're gonna have to supersize everything. If you
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: want to change ten thousand boys lives a year, you
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: gotta start thinking of how you can change a million
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: of them a year. I went wow. He said, if
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: you want to send ten thousand kids to school, he said,
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: you should change your thinking. How do you send a
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: million of them to school? He said, Man, if your
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: goal is to make a thousand millionaires, how do you
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: make a million millionaires? He said? That's how billionaires think.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: They just they level everything up. Everything goes up with them.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: They think up, therefore they act up. Therefore they become up.
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: Therefore they come up. It's crazy man. You've got to
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: develop next level thinking. I recommend Joel Olds to so
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: I kid you enough. That's just greatful, But you gotta
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: change the way you think everybody. If you want to
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: do better, you're not a change. Those are my clothes.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Drop it Davy, just necessary void where prohibited. Participants must
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: be legal US residents at least eighteen years old, unless
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: otherwise stated. For Pleek contest rules, visit Steve Harvey FM
