- 0:01Speaker 1: The federal government still officially shut down. That means that
- 0:05Speaker 1: the shutdown has now entered at sixth day, it's already
- 0:09Speaker 1: tied with the fourth longest shutdown in US history, and
- 0:14Speaker 1: the scale it is large. As the humor shutdown continues.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Estimates suggests nine hundred thousand federal employees have been furloughed
- 0:23Speaker 1: and others required to work without pay. Not to be clear,
- 0:27Speaker 1: they will receive back pay when the government reopens. Many
- 0:31Speaker 1: services are paused or operating in a curtailed mode, especially
- 0:36Speaker 1: programs depend on annual appropriations, which parts of the IRS
- 0:41Speaker 1: certain grant programs, for example, and the Federal Judiciary Courts
- 0:45Speaker 1: has projected it can maintain operations through October seventeenth under
- 0:51Speaker 1: existing resources, and that brings us to today. A majority
- 0:55Speaker 1: of Democratic Senators rejected on Monday, the fifth of ten
- 1:00Speaker 1: by Republicans to pass a stopgap bill that would end
- 1:05Speaker 1: the government shut down, just hours after President Trump even
- 1:09Speaker 1: floated the idea of possibly making a healthcare deal with
- 1:13Speaker 1: the Democrats, but that didn't matter.
- 1:16Speaker 2: The deadlock.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Senate voted fifty two to forty two, with sixty votes
- 1:21Speaker 1: needed to block the simple Trump Back Continuing Resolution, a
- 1:26Speaker 1: clean cr from moving forward, ensuring the government will remain unfunded.
- 1:32Speaker 2: For a seventh straight day.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Today, the measure, which would keep the government funded at
- 1:38Speaker 1: pre shutdown levels until November the twenty first, fell yet again,
- 1:45Speaker 1: eight votes short of the sixty needed to clear the
- 1:47Speaker 1: legislative filibuster. Democratic Senaters Mastow and Fetterman, as well as
- 1:53Speaker 1: Agnes King of Maine and an independent who caucuses with
- 1:57Speaker 1: the Democrats, continue to be the only Demomocrats backing the
- 2:01Speaker 1: measure to reopen the government. Republican Senator Ram Paul of
- 2:05Speaker 1: Kentucky remains the only member of the GOP side opposed
- 2:09Speaker 1: to the bill. Now, a handful of senators from both
- 2:13Speaker 1: sides of the al did not cast votes. Senate Minority
- 2:16Speaker 1: Leader Chuck Schumer and other Democrats had objected to the
- 2:20Speaker 1: so called clean Continuing Resolution because they claim it failed
- 2:24Speaker 1: to extend the Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire
- 2:28Speaker 1: at the end of the year. Head of the failed vote,
- 2:31Speaker 1: Trump expressed willingness to make a deal if we made
- 2:35Speaker 1: the right deal. I'd make a deal, sure, the President
- 2:38Speaker 1: told reporters in the Oval Office. And that is not all.
- 2:42Speaker 1: The President of the United States of America had to say,
- 2:44Speaker 1: here's part of what he said in the oval.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Then the Democrat on all of this, As you know,
- 2:50Speaker 3: the inrident people are experiencing law came with any government
- 2:54Speaker 3: shutting down.
- 2:56Speaker 4: And while you're dealing with the Democrats, of course, Republicans are.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Sandy or round.
- 3:00Speaker 3: What is your message to records the American people.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Who may encounter some of this pain a year, how
- 3:06Speaker 5: do you.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Get them well? Up till now, there hasn't been a
- 3:09Speaker 3: great deal of pain. There could be a great deal
- 3:11Speaker 3: of pain, but up till now there hasn't been. I
- 3:13Speaker 3: will say this just hanging there because I think a
- 3:15Speaker 3: lot of good things are going to happen. It's all
- 3:17Speaker 3: I can say. I mean, I think a lot of
- 3:19Speaker 3: good things could happen, and that could also pertain to healthcare.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And they could also, as he mentioned, deal with healthcare.
- 3:27Speaker 1: President Trump asked more about healthcare, and here's what he said.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And I'm talking about good things with regard to healthcare.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Are you speaking at the universal kind.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Of well, I don't want to say that.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I don't want to say that, but we are speaking
- 3:40Speaker 3: with the Democrats, and some very good things could happen
- 3:44Speaker 3: with respect to healthcare. Would you make a deal with
- 3:46Speaker 3: them on the ACA cubsidies.
- 3:48Speaker 5: If we if we made the right deal, I'd make
- 3:50Speaker 5: a deal.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Should I mean, you have right now subsidies. You have subsidies.
- 3:54Speaker 3: That's the problem with Obamacare. The subsidies are so much.
- 3:58Speaker 3: It's billions and billions of dollar is being wasted. And
- 4:01Speaker 3: we can have a much better healthcare than we have
- 4:04Speaker 3: right now.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And we're talking to them.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not saying that's going to happen, because
- 4:08Speaker 3: this has also been going on, not for three thousand years,
- 4:11Speaker 3: but it's been going on for a long time.
- 4:13Speaker 5: But yeah, we're talking to the Democrats.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I'd like to see a deal made for great healthcare. Yes,
- 4:19Speaker 3: I want to see great health I'm a Republican, but
- 4:21Speaker 3: I want to see healthcare much more so than the Democrats.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I'm a Republican and I want to see healthcare much
- 4:29Speaker 1: more so than the Democrats. The President reiterating there some
- 4:34Speaker 1: very good things could happen with respect to healthcare in
- 4:37Speaker 1: this country now. The White House Press Sayer Terry also
- 4:40Speaker 1: making it clear from the podium that this is the
- 4:43Speaker 1: Schumer shut down and what the Democrats are doing is
- 4:46Speaker 1: holding America hostage.
- 4:49Speaker 6: So all of this begs the question, what is the
- 4:51Speaker 6: Democrat ongoing shutdown truly about. The sad truth we believe
- 4:56Speaker 6: is that the Democrats intentionally shut down the governments and
- 4:59Speaker 6: are inflict this pain on American citizens to try and
- 5:02Speaker 6: demand free health care for legal aliens. Of course, this
- 5:06Speaker 6: is an indefensible and truly radical policy to be in
- 5:09Speaker 6: favor of, let alone to use as the primary reason
- 5:12Speaker 6: to shut down the United States government. So the Democrats
- 5:16Speaker 6: and their allies are desperately lying about their true motivations.
- 5:20Speaker 6: We have to set the record straight with the facts
- 5:22Speaker 6: so the American people understand what's really at play here.
- 5:25Speaker 6: House Republicans passed a clean and nonpartisan funding bill to
- 5:29Speaker 6: keep the government open and ensure our troops and other
- 5:32Speaker 6: hardworking Americans are paid. Every single House Democrat except one
- 5:37Speaker 6: voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill. Senate Republicans
- 5:42Speaker 6: have subsequently tried to pass this same clean funding bill
- 5:45Speaker 6: four separate times, and they will do so again tonight
- 5:48Speaker 6: to fully pass it to be sent to the President's
- 5:50Speaker 6: desk for signature. And the President is ready to sign
- 5:54Speaker 6: this bill to reopen the government as soon as it
- 5:56Speaker 6: is sent to his desk. Yet every single Senate Democrat
- 6:00Speaker 6: except three, have voted against this clean and nonpartisan funding bill.
- 6:04Speaker 6: The Democrat's current position is that the only way the
- 6:07Speaker 6: American government can reopen is if illegal aliens can get
- 6:11Speaker 6: free health care. Don't take my word for it, just
- 6:13Speaker 6: look at what's inside of the Democrats proposal to reopen
- 6:16Speaker 6: the government. Their funding proposal would result in nearly two
- 6:20Speaker 6: hundred billion dollars spent on healthcare for illegal aliens and
- 6:24Speaker 6: other non citizens over the next decade. To put this
- 6:27Speaker 6: in perspective, two hundred billion dollars is enough money to
- 6:30Speaker 6: fund the entire Children's Health Insurance Program, which provides health
- 6:34Speaker 6: insurance to low income children and women. Under the Democrats proposal,
- 6:39Speaker 6: the millions of illegal aliens who improperly were granted asylum
- 6:42Speaker 6: in paroled under the Bided administration would once again be
- 6:46Speaker 6: allowed to receive Medicaid benefits. It does not end there.
- 6:50Speaker 6: The Democrat proposal would also require Medicaid to pay more
- 6:53Speaker 6: for emergency care provided to illegal aliens than it does
- 6:57Speaker 6: for American patients who are disabled, elderly, or children. When
- 7:02Speaker 6: someone shows you who they are, believe them. The Democrat
- 7:05Speaker 6: Party has unfortunately closed our government, costing Americans their jobs,
- 7:09Speaker 6: threatening our military readiness, harming our economy, and causing chaos,
- 7:14Speaker 6: all to help the illegals who broke into our country.
- 7:18Speaker 1: White House Pressinger theory there making it clear this is
- 7:21Speaker 1: still the humor shut down because he's afraid of AOC.
- 7:24Speaker 2: But it's also bigger than that.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It's a shutdown and it's all about free health care
- 7:28Speaker 1: for illegal aliens and bringing the receipts to the conversation.
- 7:34Speaker 2: This is a story.
- 7:35Speaker 1: That I'm about to tell you that it's an incredibly
- 7:38Speaker 1: important one. It is a fact now that the FBI
- 7:42Speaker 1: literally spied on not one, not two, not three, four, five, six, seven,
- 7:50Speaker 1: but eight GOP senators. It was called a total analysis.
- 7:56Speaker 1: That is the terminology that's used by FBI investigator to
- 8:01Speaker 1: analyze cellular call data for federal probes. Think of it
- 8:05Speaker 1: as link analysis that shows patterns of communication location data
- 8:12Speaker 1: as well as potential targets network of associates. This should
- 8:18Speaker 1: shock every single one of you to a core. And
- 8:22Speaker 1: these declassified records, as the FBI Director Cash Bettel is
- 8:26Speaker 1: now exposing code name Arctic Frost, was brought because of
- 8:31Speaker 1: a whistle blower disclosures to Senator Grassley and Senator Ron
- 8:36Speaker 1: Johnson that showed nearly one hundred conservative groups, including Turning
- 8:43Speaker 1: Point USA, were part of the probe. Now you have
- 8:48Speaker 1: something that's even more shocking, and that is not only
- 8:51Speaker 1: was the FBI going after conservative groups, but the FBI
- 8:54Speaker 1: was spying on senators, and some of those senators are
- 8:58Speaker 1: now fighting back. Senator Ron Johnson saying it this way
- 9:02Speaker 1: in a statement earlier, I was just briefed by the
- 9:06Speaker 1: FBI's Dan Bongino that the FBI and the Justice Department
- 9:11Speaker 1: obtained call logs from eight US senators, including myself. We
- 9:17Speaker 1: were surveilled simply for being Republicans. This does not surprise me,
- 9:24Speaker 1: but it should shock every American. Senator Johnson continued. What
- 9:29Speaker 1: the Biden administration has done is an outrageous abuse of power.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It is blatant political persecution. Those responsible must be held
- 9:41Speaker 1: fully accountable. Now you may ask yourself what is in
- 9:45Speaker 1: this actual document. The Federal Bureau of Investigation unclassified document
- 9:51Speaker 1: dated nine to twenty seven of twenty twenty three puts
- 9:55Speaker 1: it in a simple manner. The FBI special agent with
- 9:59Speaker 1: an Amory dak did conducted preliminary toll analysis on limited
- 10:03Speaker 1: tolls records associated with the following US Senators Mike Kelly,
- 10:11Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham, Bill Haggerty, Josh Holly, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville,
- 10:19Speaker 1: Ron Johnson, Cynthia Loomis, and Senator Marsha Blackburn. You look
- 10:25Speaker 1: at what I just explained to you, and this is
- 10:28Speaker 1: the weaponization literally of our federal government right before our eyes.
- 10:34Speaker 1: The other question is this, who were the FBI's supervisory
- 10:38Speaker 1: special agents and why are their names redacted? Who approved
- 10:43Speaker 1: the report and the surveillance of the US senators is
- 10:46Speaker 1: another question that should be asked. Markings indicate that the
- 10:51Speaker 1: FBI Washington Field Office was doing this during the Biden administration.
- 10:59Speaker 1: This this also means that there was a team involved
- 11:02Speaker 1: as well. An FBISSA manages investigative teams and approves the
- 11:08Speaker 1: reports that we now are seeing. Toll analysis, as I mentioned,
- 11:13Speaker 1: is used to analyze cellulo data and the call details
- 11:17Speaker 1: for federal probes. This is a highly revealing investigative tool.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It exploits all the patterns of the targets or the
- 11:26Speaker 1: people involved in the communication investigation, and it also is
- 11:31Speaker 1: incredibly invasive because it would look at the location data
- 11:36Speaker 1: of those senators that were being spied on now, several
- 11:42Speaker 1: of these senators decided to have a press conference that
- 11:45Speaker 1: were the targets that were spied on. Senator Grassley was
- 11:49Speaker 1: the first to speak, and I want to play it
- 11:50Speaker 1: for you. Listen to what they had to say that we.
- 11:53Speaker 7: Can find for the solicitation of these telephone records, which
- 12:01Speaker 7: I think emphasizes the political weaponization that was behind all
- 12:07Speaker 7: this effort. And we're still getting more information, but we've
- 12:14Speaker 7: released some records today and I'll let Senator Johnson take
- 12:18Speaker 7: over from here and then each one of you collegues
- 12:20Speaker 7: can join in when you want to whatever you want
- 12:23Speaker 7: to say.
- 12:25Speaker 8: First of all, I want to thank Sander Grassley. It
- 12:28Speaker 8: is because of his relentless advocacy for whistleblowers that a
- 12:32Speaker 8: lot of this information is surfacing right now. We wouldn't
- 12:35Speaker 8: know about the list of one hundred Republican entities that
- 12:37Speaker 8: were targeted by Jack Smith Arctic Frost's investigation. I don't
- 12:41Speaker 8: think we know about this as well, So we need whistleblowers.
- 12:45Speaker 8: I think Dan Bongino and folks of the FBI they
- 12:48Speaker 8: don't know where all the records are hidden. They still don't.
- 12:51Speaker 8: They're not necessarily getting hunt scent cooperation. But this is
- 12:54Speaker 8: outrageous what has happened. I just want to give you
- 12:57Speaker 8: a timeline this. I think you've already got the the
- 13:00Speaker 8: FBI sheet that shows the number of Members of Congress
- 13:03Speaker 8: that were targeted Representative Kelly Sanatra's Graham Haggerty, Holly Sullivan, Tuberville, myself,
- 13:10Speaker 8: Santa Lummis, and Blackburny.
- 13:12Speaker 5: This member was dated September of twenty twenty three.
- 13:16Speaker 8: To put it all into context, the mar Lago raid
- 13:19Speaker 8: occurred in August of twenty twenty two. Jack Smith announced
- 13:24Speaker 8: the indictments against President Trump in August of twenty twenty three,
- 13:28Speaker 8: so this.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Is almost two months later.
- 13:31Speaker 8: They're casting this net, this fishing accident expedition against members
- 13:37Speaker 8: of the Senate in the House again, I've been.
- 13:41Speaker 5: Investigating this with Santa Grassley.
- 13:43Speaker 8: This doesn't surprise me, but it should shock every American
- 13:50Speaker 8: of what the Bide administration has done. And by the way,
- 13:53Speaker 8: this is the first time I was targeted by the
- 13:55Speaker 8: FBI under the Obama administration. The same thing happened to
- 13:58Speaker 8: both Sander Grassley and I. As part of the Foreign
- 14:01Speaker 8: Foreign Influenced Task Force, we were giving a com a
- 14:05Speaker 8: briefing to try and convince us that the Hunter Biden
- 14:09Speaker 8: laptop was no big deal, basically trying to throw us
- 14:12Speaker 8: off the track. So this is major corruption just being
- 14:17Speaker 8: revealed inside the Obama and Biden department. Justin's the FBI,
- 14:22Speaker 8: and I'll turn it over to guest Senator Haggerty, who's one.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Of the individuals.
- 14:26Speaker 8: Again, none of us were subject to targets this investigation.
- 14:29Speaker 8: There's no predicate, there's no reason for this other than
- 14:32Speaker 8: efficient expedition, which again should outrage and shock every American.
- 14:36Speaker 9: Senator Haggarty, thank you, Senator Johnson and Chairman Grassley, thank
- 14:40Speaker 9: you for your leadership in making this happen. This is
- 14:43Speaker 9: an extraordinary revelation that just took place this afternoon. My
- 14:47Speaker 9: colleagues and I found out all of us Republicans by
- 14:49Speaker 9: the way that we were placed under investigation by this
- 14:52Speaker 9: FBI under the Joe Biden FBI that was led I
- 14:55Speaker 9: presume by Jack Smith and his predecessors. This isn't the
- 14:59Speaker 9: first time that it's happened, though Senator Johnson just mentioned this.
- 15:02Speaker 9: I served on the Trump transition team in Trump Tower
- 15:05Speaker 9: in twenty sixteen. Senator Blackbird was vice chair of the
- 15:08Speaker 9: Transition committee then as we're probably a dozen or more
- 15:11Speaker 9: members of Congress to think that we were all surveiled
- 15:15Speaker 9: back then by the Obama FBI. This corruption to run deep,
- 15:19Speaker 9: runs deep, and it's gone on for far too long.
- 15:23Speaker 9: And the fact that it's happened here again, the fact
- 15:25Speaker 9: that they are looking at our records in twenty twenty
- 15:27Speaker 9: three sitting members of the United States Senate. Again, the
- 15:30Speaker 9: only thing that we have in common, the only thing
- 15:32Speaker 9: that common in this entire list, is that we're all Republicans.
- 15:35Speaker 9: They've decided to come after us. This is as partisan
- 15:37Speaker 9: as it gets. The FBI and the corruption's running there
- 15:40Speaker 9: has to be cleared out. Thank god, we have Cash
- 15:42Speaker 9: Betel and Dan Bongino there. This has to be addressed,
- 15:45Speaker 9: it has to be resolved. It needs to happen today.
- 15:49Speaker 10: What we know is this that the FBI under Joe
- 15:54Speaker 10: Biden and under Barack Obama, is that they exercised activity
- 16:00Speaker 10: that they had no authority to exercise. And as Senator
- 16:05Speaker 10: Haggardy mentioned, we know what they did in twenty sixteen
- 16:10Speaker 10: to the Trump transition team. And now we find out
- 16:15Speaker 10: that after the mar Lago raid, after the indictment of
- 16:20Speaker 10: President Trump, they surveil US people who support President Trump,
- 16:28Speaker 10: members who are all Republicans.
- 16:31Speaker 2: But it shows you.
- 16:33Speaker 10: How out of control and rotten to the core and
- 16:38Speaker 10: politicized the FBI had become, and how they had absolutely
- 16:45Speaker 10: no problem at all whatsoever with political weaponization. We appreciate
- 16:51Speaker 10: the information we've gotten today. We look forward to further
- 16:55Speaker 10: investigation on this.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You just heard from many of them, those that were
- 17:01Speaker 1: targeted by the FBI, as you heard Bill Haggerty say,
- 17:06Speaker 1: we are sitting members of Congress, and by the way,
- 17:10Speaker 1: we now have learned it's not just senators. There was
- 17:13Speaker 1: also a representative that had their private communications tracked by
- 17:17Speaker 1: the former Special Council Jack Smith under the Biden administration.
- 17:22Speaker 1: The FBI director Cash Bettel, also revealing files obtained by
- 17:28Speaker 1: Fox News show that Smith, in his official capacity at
- 17:32Speaker 1: the Department of Justice, as he investigated Donald Trump and
- 17:36Speaker 1: the events of January sixth, twenty twenty one, decided to
- 17:39Speaker 1: not only track the phone calls of Lindsey Graham, Marshall Blackburn,
- 17:42Speaker 1: Ron Johnson, Josh Holly, Cynthia Loomis, Bill Haggerty, Dan Sullivan,
- 17:46Speaker 1: Tommy Tuverville, but also we now have learned Republican representative
- 17:51Speaker 1: Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania. The alarming document revealing that Smith
- 17:57Speaker 1: and his Arctic Frost team had subpoena telephone providers for
- 18:02Speaker 1: the lawmakers' records in twenty twenty three was recently discovered
- 18:07Speaker 1: by Patel. Patel confirmed the legitimacy of the findings in
- 18:10Speaker 1: an ex post, writing, we recently uncovered proof that phone
- 18:14Speaker 1: records of US lawmakers were sees for political purposes. That
- 18:19Speaker 1: abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership, the FBI
- 18:23Speaker 1: will deliver truth and accountability and never again be weaponized
- 18:27Speaker 1: against the American people. That abuse of power ends now.
- 18:33Speaker 1: It seems to be the mantra, unfortunately, that is needed
- 18:36Speaker 1: by this administration to make sure that these bad actors
- 18:40Speaker 1: are exposed and rooted out. Finally, you also heard one
- 18:44Speaker 1: other thing that was really important that was mentioned there.
- 18:47Speaker 1: We need listle blowers. You heard that from Senator Johnson.
- 18:52Speaker 1: He is asking for others to come forward that may
- 18:54Speaker 1: know about abuse of power that was happening in the
- 18:57Speaker 1: Deep State and letting them know there's a safe place
- 19:00Speaker 1: to bring it. Bongino, we also know brief the impact
- 19:04Speaker 1: of the lawmakers on Monday afternoon and said that it
- 19:07Speaker 1: is a disgrace that he's having to sit there and
- 19:11Speaker 1: show what he has found. It is a disgrace that
- 19:14Speaker 1: I have to stand on Capitol Hill and reveal this
- 19:17Speaker 1: that the FBI was once weaponized to track the private
- 19:20Speaker 1: communications of US lawmakers for political purposes. That era is over.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Several of the senators who have allegedly been spot on
- 19:31Speaker 1: not only spoke at the press conference which you just heard,
- 19:34Speaker 1: but said that they are also going to be looking
- 19:37Speaker 1: into this from a congressional standpoint. And to put it
- 19:41Speaker 1: just an overall perspective for you, Senator Holly called Smith's
- 19:45Speaker 1: actions not only an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond
- 19:49Speaker 1: j Eggar Hoover, one that directly strikes he said, at
- 19:53Speaker 1: the Constitution, the separation of powers and the First Amendment.
- 19:58Speaker 1: And thank goodness, President Donald Trump has put great men
- 20:02Speaker 1: in charge of the FBI to root out this pure.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Evil that is inside of it.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Sanctuary City of Chicago, they're under fire right now, as
- 20:13Speaker 1: they should be. Why because they reportedly ordered police to
- 20:18Speaker 1: ignore the calls for help as attackers were going after
- 20:23Speaker 1: ICE agents. The Sanctuary City of Chicago reportedly ordered its
- 20:28Speaker 1: police forced to refuse calls for help from the ICE
- 20:33Speaker 1: agents who were under siege by increasingly violent protesters in
- 20:37Speaker 1: support of criminal illegal aliens. Several police unions have now
- 20:42Speaker 1: denounced the Chicago Mayor Johnson and his police leadership for
- 20:47Speaker 1: ordering the officers on the streets to refuse to help
- 20:50Speaker 1: Immigration and Customs enforcement officers, as well as other federal
- 20:54Speaker 1: law enforcement officers, as they faced protesters, some of whom
- 20:59Speaker 1: are now used using automobiles as weapons to attack the agents.
- 21:04Speaker 1: According to the New York Posts, when ICE officers made
- 21:08Speaker 1: calls over the radio for assistance on Sunday, the Chicago
- 21:12Speaker 1: Police dispatch replied, We're not sending anybody out to that location.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It's shocking to see exactly how violent it's become in
- 21:23Speaker 1: Chicago by the anti ICE activists. They're anarchists, or you
- 21:28Speaker 1: could even call them domestic terrorists if you want to
- 21:30Speaker 1: be honest about it. It was also reported that the
- 21:34Speaker 1: Chicago police vehicles sat immobile nearby as ICE agents were
- 21:40Speaker 1: being attacked. The inaction infuriated the nation's largest national police union,
- 21:47Speaker 1: which said in a statement that it was shocked and
- 21:50Speaker 1: appolled at the Chicago Police Department's leadership's refusal to help
- 21:55Speaker 1: ICE agents who were asking for their help who were
- 21:59Speaker 1: under said. The president of the National Fraternal Order of
- 22:03Speaker 1: Police and the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police blasted the
- 22:08Speaker 1: Chicago Police chief, who reportedly directed officers not to assist
- 22:12Speaker 1: the ice agents.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Quote.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Details are still emerging, but it appears at officers from
- 22:18Speaker 1: the Chicago Police Department were ordered not to assist a
- 22:22Speaker 1: group of ice agents while they were being physically threatened
- 22:26Speaker 1: by what appeared to be a very angry mob. That's
- 22:29Speaker 1: what the National FOP president said in a statement, saying, quote,
- 22:32Speaker 1: let me be clear, both the National FOP and the
- 22:36Speaker 1: Illinois FOP believe that when an officer calls for assistance
- 22:41Speaker 1: to answer no matter what. We at the National FOP,
- 22:46Speaker 1: as well as our members at the Illinois FOP, condemn
- 22:49Speaker 1: these actions and urged Chicago officials to ensure that any
- 22:54Speaker 1: law enforcement officers needing assistance is guaranteed that their brothers
- 22:58Speaker 1: and sisters in law enforcement re spawn immediately. The number
- 23:03Speaker 1: one unwritten rule in law enforcement is that we respond
- 23:07Speaker 1: to any calls from officers in distress. What would have
- 23:10Speaker 1: happened if the local police were facing threats and nearby
- 23:13Speaker 1: federal officers were told not to assist question Mark whether
- 23:18Speaker 1: you agree about immigration enforcement or not, when a law
- 23:22Speaker 1: enforcement officer is in trouble, nothing should stand the way
- 23:25Speaker 1: of fellow officers rendering assistance. Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland
- 23:30Speaker 1: Security is now blaming the increased violence that ICE is
- 23:34Speaker 1: facing into Chicago and other cities on sanctuary politicians who
- 23:39Speaker 1: are stirring insurrection to achieve their political goals. Thankfully, none
- 23:44Speaker 1: of our law enforcement was killed because of these deranged criminals,
- 23:48Speaker 1: and their attacks on law enforcement is with The Assistant
- 23:51Speaker 1: Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security said a statement
- 23:54Speaker 1: on Sunday, saying, quote, this is exactly what happens when
- 23:58Speaker 1: Governor Pritzker and Mayor Johnson and other sanctuary politicians demonize
- 24:04Speaker 1: ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement.
- 24:09Speaker 7: Now.
- 24:09Speaker 1: McLaughlin also pointed out that ICE has suffered a more
- 24:12Speaker 1: than a one thousand percent increase in violence directed at
- 24:17Speaker 1: the officers, many of them being targeted because local law
- 24:22Speaker 1: enforcement is looking the other way, in other words, allowing
- 24:26Speaker 1: it to happen because the order is coming down from
- 24:28Speaker 1: the local government leaders.
- 24:31Speaker 2: I got to ask you a question, are you one.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Of those that is just so tired of giving your
- 24:35Speaker 1: money to radical left woke companies that actually are fighting
- 24:39Speaker 1: against your values every day.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well, there are certain bills that you pay.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Every month that if you can go with a conservative company,
- 24:47Speaker 1: why not do it? In fact, why not go with
- 24:49Speaker 1: a conservative company actually takes part of your bill every
- 24:52Speaker 1: month that you're going to pay to somebody, and they
- 24:54Speaker 1: give it back to organizations that support your First and
- 24:57Speaker 1: your Second Amendment rights, that support the the rights of
- 25:00Speaker 1: unborn children, that stand with our military, are first responders
- 25:06Speaker 1: and so many wounded warriors that need help.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Call Patriot Mobile today.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And make a difference every single day with every call
- 25:13Speaker 1: you make. Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson. That's Patriot
- 25:18Speaker 1: Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And if you use the promo code ferguson, you're gonna
- 25:26Speaker 1: get a free month of service on top of that.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven two Patriot.
- 25:33Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson ninety seven to
- 25:36Speaker 1: two Patriot. Now, there's also another part of the story
- 25:40Speaker 1: that's important, and that is that the Chicago Mayor Johnson
- 25:43Speaker 1: has doubled down on the anarchy in a city and
- 25:47Speaker 1: now has signed an executive order of quote no go
- 25:51Speaker 1: zones for ICE, and it violates not one, but two
- 25:56Speaker 1: federal laws. I want you to listen to this report
- 25:59Speaker 1: from five or so.
- 26:00Speaker 11: The legal battle erupting after a weekend of anti ICE
- 26:04Speaker 11: violence in both Portland and Chicago, with Chicago's mayor today
- 26:08Speaker 11: declaring parts of his city no go zones for ICE agents.
- 26:14Speaker 4: The order builds a broad civic sealed that limits the
- 26:18Speaker 4: reach of harmful enforcement practices. Is strengthens neighborhood solidarity, and
- 26:24Speaker 4: it reaffirms Chicago's rule as a welcoming city. The fact
- 26:28Speaker 4: is we cannot allow them to rent paced throughout our
- 26:31Speaker 4: city with no checks or balances.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Nobody is above the law. Well, they now is.
- 26:37Speaker 12: Jonathan Jay Hay, former acting ICE Director, DHS Deputy Assistant
- 26:41Speaker 12: Secretary and federal prosecutor so Brandon Johnson is wholly against
- 26:45Speaker 12: the deployment of any federal forces in Chicago, particularly federalizing
- 26:49Speaker 12: the National Guard.
- 26:50Speaker 5: But when you look at the crime.
- 26:51Speaker 12: Statistics, if any city needs help, it's Chicago.
- 26:55Speaker 13: Yeah, You're exactly right, And normally cities would welcome federal
- 26:59Speaker 13: health that have clime problems. And you see a DC
- 27:01Speaker 13: mayor of ouser, you know, after initial reluctance, has actually
- 27:04Speaker 13: welcomed it and the city's better off, I think objectively.
- 27:07Speaker 13: But Brandon Johnson's new executive order is pretty amazing on
- 27:10Speaker 13: a couple of fronts because it violates two federal laws.
- 27:14Speaker 13: One of the Alien Harboring Law, which has anything to
- 27:16Speaker 13: shield illegal aliens from detection, and he specifically says that's
- 27:20Speaker 13: the purpose of it. It's also a violation of federal
- 27:23Speaker 13: obstruction because it's to impede federal agents. So the big
- 27:27Speaker 13: fun irony of his executive order is that it violates
- 27:31Speaker 13: federal law and it's also unenforceable on its terms under
- 27:34Speaker 13: the supremacy clause. So another stunt, But I don't even
- 27:37Speaker 13: think he recognizes really what the repercussions would be if
- 27:40Speaker 13: it was actually played out.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yet again, anarchists and the Democratic Party putting American men
- 27:48Speaker 1: and women in uniforms lives at risk, knowing that ICE
- 27:52Speaker 1: agents are being attacked, and advocating and encouraging more of
- 27:56Speaker 1: it to happen in their cities, and also not caring
- 28:00Speaker 1: what the actual laws say. And this is exactly why
- 28:04Speaker 1: Donald Trump is doing what he's doing sending federal law
- 28:08Speaker 1: enforcement into cities that are out of control with radical anarchists.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Mayors just like the Portland mayor, just like Chicago's Mayor Johnson,
- 28:17Speaker 1: who is literally going to war not with the violent
- 28:20Speaker 1: criminals that have invaded his city, but going to war
- 28:24Speaker 1: with the law enforcement that are trying to protect their citizens.
- 28:29Speaker 2: That is the difference.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Between Republicans and Democrats right now in this country. Don't
- 28:35Speaker 1: forget share this podcast please with your family and your
- 28:38Speaker 1: friends whereover they are, and I will see you back
- 28:41Speaker 1: here tomorrow.
