- 0:15Speaker 1: the milking buck bus things in its tubbles, y'all to
- 0:19Speaker 1: be true, good it, Steve ha listen to movie together
- 0:26Speaker 1: for Steve har Please, I don't join Hya joining me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you are you gotta turn? Turnmown got
- 1:43Speaker 1: the turnout? Then turn the water the water go, come
- 1:57Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh. I shall well. Good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Arvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Old Man. Old Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:15Speaker 1: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God
- 2:18Speaker 1: has been to me over the years. And I'm thank
- 2:21Speaker 1: him for it too, because I realize every day that
- 2:23Speaker 1: I wake up that I would be nothing without him.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That everything I am that's any good in me I
- 2:30Speaker 1: owe to him. Now. Have I made some mistakes along
- 2:33Speaker 1: the way, yep, bunches, bunches and bunches. And will I
- 2:39Speaker 1: continue to make mistakes along the way yep? Not as many,
- 2:44Speaker 1: hopefully as I have in the past, because a lot
- 2:48Speaker 1: of stuff I know better now, but you're still going
- 2:51Speaker 1: to make mistakes now, you know. Hopefully I've limited the
- 2:57Speaker 1: amount of intentional errors in my life. I've wiped quite
- 3:02Speaker 1: a few of those out, but from time to time,
- 3:04Speaker 1: because we're human, we're going to make a mistake every
- 3:08Speaker 1: now and then. The trick what it is, y'all, it's
- 3:11Speaker 1: not to let the devil deceive you into thinking that
- 3:13Speaker 1: once you make that mistake that that's it. You can't
- 3:16Speaker 1: do it. You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: That's the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you
- 3:23Speaker 1: think that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run
- 3:29Speaker 1: the race. It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner.
- 3:35Speaker 1: From time to time I watch him on TV, and
- 3:38Speaker 1: you'll see some people who finish the race, you know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: in a in a nice pace. You see people finish
- 3:47Speaker 1: the race sprinting towards the finish line. But every now
- 3:51Speaker 1: and then you'll watch a marathon and you'll see a
- 3:55Speaker 1: runner and the runner is in really, really bad shape.
- 4:01Speaker 1: The key is they finish the race. See, you don't
- 4:06Speaker 1: get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble, You don't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: They don't. They don't take your opportunity to finish the
- 4:17Speaker 1: race because you keep falling. That's not the key. The
- 4:22Speaker 1: key is finishing. And a lot of times what the
- 4:26Speaker 1: devil does is he makes you think that because you
- 4:29Speaker 1: keep stumbling, because you're swaying from side to side, that
- 4:34Speaker 1: you know you out the race. Well, that's not the case.
- 4:38Speaker 1: And see, and in this thing called life, let me
- 4:40Speaker 1: help you understand something. Everybody falls. Nobody sprints to the
- 4:44Speaker 1: tape in this one. Nobody just runs free and clear
- 4:48Speaker 1: as some people running faster than you and all like this.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:54Speaker 1: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:56Speaker 1: end come. I ain't in the rush to get to
- 4:58Speaker 1: the end. But in this race, though, when you're stumbling
- 5:02Speaker 1: and you're falling, it's a part of it. No one
- 5:05Speaker 1: gets through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying from
- 5:08Speaker 1: side to side. So don't let the enemy deceive you
- 5:13Speaker 1: into thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging
- 5:18Speaker 1: to people because I don't want people to get stuck
- 5:21Speaker 1: on this thing, you know. And my walk is very
- 5:24Speaker 1: different from a lot of people's walks. And then I
- 5:26Speaker 1: know a lot of people who walking in faith the
- 5:29Speaker 1: way I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the
- 5:31Speaker 1: morning is just to remind those that is not a
- 5:34Speaker 1: perfect walk man, that it's not something that's set up
- 5:39Speaker 1: where you're gonna be skipping through life scot free without
- 5:43Speaker 1: any pitfalls. You know, I keep saying it over and
- 5:46Speaker 1: over and over again because, like I said, when I
- 5:48Speaker 1: was in DC, my boy Hondo said this to me,
- 5:52Speaker 1: and it just kind of stuck with me that the
- 5:54Speaker 1: road to construct, the road to successes always under construction.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You have to figure and count on the setbacks and
- 6:03Speaker 1: the pitfalls. But it's those people that that that that
- 6:07Speaker 1: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 1: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere sitting down every
- 6:15Speaker 1: time something goes down. It's going to go down. It's
- 6:19Speaker 1: a part of it. It's going to happen. It's going
- 6:23Speaker 1: to occur that are going to be setbacks. If you
- 6:27Speaker 1: go and sit down every time there's a setback, that's
- 6:31Speaker 1: not how this works. It is designed that way. If
- 6:35Speaker 1: success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success is
- 6:41Speaker 1: just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:44Speaker 1: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more now,
- 6:50Speaker 1: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 6:58Speaker 1: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considers successful.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considers successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:10Speaker 1: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:18Speaker 1: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:24Speaker 1: tied up into church. Your level of success could be
- 7:27Speaker 1: tied up into boys clubs. It could be any number
- 7:31Speaker 1: of things. Whatever your level of success is, you have
- 7:35Speaker 1: to determine what that is you and the best way
- 7:38Speaker 1: to determine that is to get in touch with your maker,
- 7:42Speaker 1: who created you, to find out what your mission and
- 7:46Speaker 1: your purpose is so he can put you on track.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I just had this conversation with my son, and we
- 7:53Speaker 1: were talking about getting on the path that God has
- 7:57Speaker 1: set up for you. So many times we find ourselves
- 8:01Speaker 1: fighting through life because of so much uncertainty, because we
- 8:05Speaker 1: have no idea where we're headed. It's like one of
- 8:10Speaker 1: my own sayings that I have at my mentoring camp
- 8:14Speaker 1: for boys is is that a boy without a male
- 8:19Speaker 1: role model is like an explorer without a map. See
- 8:24Speaker 1: if you don't have a map laid out in front
- 8:28Speaker 1: of you of where you're going when you wake up
- 8:32Speaker 1: every day. That pretty much explains the feeling of confusion,
- 8:38Speaker 1: the laxidaisical attitude, the lack of purpose, to not understanding
- 8:45Speaker 1: your mission because you don't have not gotten in touch
- 8:50Speaker 1: with your creator to find out exactly what your path
- 8:54Speaker 1: in life is. What are you supposed to be doing?
- 8:57Speaker 1: The moment you can identify that is the moment that
- 9:01Speaker 1: you get started waking up with purpose, with the sense
- 9:05Speaker 1: of direction. When you kill the sense of I don't
- 9:08Speaker 1: know what's next or what to do. Now, there's going
- 9:11Speaker 1: to be some confusing moments no matter what happened, it's
- 9:13Speaker 1: going to be some uncertainty, but at least you'll know
- 9:16Speaker 1: where you're going. So if you're tied a waking up
- 9:19Speaker 1: feeling loss, abandon confused, don't know what to do, don't
- 9:24Speaker 1: know what you're supposed to be doing, refer back to
- 9:29Speaker 1: your makeup. Because when he created you, he had a
- 9:33Speaker 1: plan for you. When he created you, he had a
- 9:36Speaker 1: path for you. Now we've made some decisions to get
- 9:39Speaker 1: off of both of those, the mission and the path.
- 9:42Speaker 1: But God can get you right back on track. Do
- 9:46Speaker 1: that today, asking what you're supposed to be doing, and listen.
- 9:52Speaker 1: God has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening tow Good morning everybody. I was just laughing
- 10:17Speaker 1: because I was having a trooped out night last night, right,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I couldn't hall it sleep. And then as soon as
- 10:24Speaker 1: the engineer said you're live, I went, that's right, I'm alive.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So whatever happened last night? What did does that make?
- 10:37Speaker 1: God want me up? I'm alive? She said, no, not,
- 10:40Speaker 1: mister Harvey. You're live. No, No, I'm unlive. This unlive
- 10:47Speaker 1: radio show, ain't it? And to be on the show,
- 10:52Speaker 1: you got to be unlive working out, baby, working out,
- 10:59Speaker 1: And if you ain't dead, you must be a live.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Oh I'm so sho oh, I'm getting old. I'm getting old.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Another birthday. I don't want to tell nobody I'm fifty,
- 11:17Speaker 1: but leash you alive, not to tell nobody. You better
- 11:22Speaker 1: be fifty up in here. I'm looking forward to sixty four.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Sixty four you old as hell? Thank you. Jesus is
- 11:34Speaker 1: the gold. Steve Man old this go. What's up? Shall Stanberry?
- 11:41Speaker 1: That's good call Correl alive and kicking Colo for something,
- 11:46Speaker 1: dolling you morning. I'm thanking for that man, morning man,
- 11:49Speaker 1: I needed it. I need it you fresh off a
- 11:52Speaker 1: hospital visit, I laughed up timing today? What was up?
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm a live horse, but a live hello. Everybody care
- 12:04Speaker 1: about you? Being a live better to being a dead horse.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I love it. Today. I'm gonna rarely have a Mississippi Monica.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Cut your minca on now, listen to it is, y'all
- 12:18Speaker 1: watch it. Good morn, MISSIPI Monica, good morning. I'm alive
- 12:24Speaker 1: and she sounds dead ignorant. That's the way to start
- 12:35Speaker 1: it off. Though. Let's be ignored all day today. Still, yeah, okay,
- 12:39Speaker 1: sure is that what you want today? Yes? Please? I
- 12:41Speaker 1: need that today in my life? Wait is you asking me?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh god? The challenge. So what you're saying is even
- 12:55Speaker 1: on clo and anything anything all day today, and do
- 13:00Speaker 1: not forget because if you do, I'm going to remind you. Okay,
- 13:04Speaker 1: So I don't know who wrote these clo questions today,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but surely asked me to be ignorant today. It's not
- 13:11Speaker 1: my fault side. Don't help you today. Yeah, I'm probably
- 13:16Speaker 1: not gonna be able to help you today because ignorant
- 13:18Speaker 1: people ain't ever much help. And today my longest running
- 13:26Speaker 1: buddy on the radio has asked me to be ignorant.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Now call us face She her head is tilted. She
- 13:32Speaker 1: looks a little concerned about this. So you just ignorance
- 13:39Speaker 1: will prevail today. Get ready for Ask the Cllo right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show all right, time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: for a Steve's favorite segment. It's called Ask the Cllo.
- 13:50Speaker 1: The chief love officers in the building. The cloth is
- 13:54Speaker 1: a nephew calls him, all right, are you ready clothe?
- 13:57Speaker 1: All right? All right, we go. This one is Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: it's a different clothes. So this one is from anonymous
- 14:07Speaker 1: in Atlanta. I've been married for thirteen years and I
- 14:10Speaker 1: don't have any children, but my husband has a grown
- 14:14Speaker 1: daughter and granddaughter, and I've spoiled them both. I'm very
- 14:17Speaker 1: close to his daughter, and I was keeping his granddaughter
- 14:20Speaker 1: during the week until recently my husband and his daughter
- 14:24Speaker 1: fell out, so now I can't spend time with a
- 14:26Speaker 1: daughter or the little girl. The grand baby turns three
- 14:29Speaker 1: on November twentieth, and I already got her gifts and
- 14:32Speaker 1: I was planning to go to her party. Should I
- 14:34Speaker 1: ignore my husband and go anyway? Hell? Yeah, don't go
- 14:38Speaker 1: to the party. Don't punish the three year old because
- 14:41Speaker 1: the two adults is stupid. It's amazing how families get
- 14:45Speaker 1: twisted because the adults can't get it right. Go to
- 14:48Speaker 1: the baby party. If your husband don't like that, what
- 14:51Speaker 1: are you gonna do? Don't you take that grand baby? Nothing?
- 14:53Speaker 1: How stupid is that? Yes, go to the party and
- 14:58Speaker 1: where something fly, but dressed like you're not going to
- 15:03Speaker 1: the child's party, like you going to happy hour. Yeah,
- 15:07Speaker 1: he was so grandy. Hey, no, no, well I'll see you.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Yeah all right, No no no, no no no no no, no,
- 15:27Speaker 1: all right, thank you for that. Alberta and Gary, Indiana says,
- 15:31Speaker 1: I've been married for close to thirty years and I
- 15:33Speaker 1: found out that my husband has been cheating on me
- 15:36Speaker 1: after I found a police report stuffed in his drawer.
- 15:40Speaker 1: The police report had a lady's name as uninsured motorist
- 15:44Speaker 1: and a phone number. He had let this woman drive
- 15:47Speaker 1: his car and she backed into another car. She told
- 15:50Speaker 1: me everything. After I called her and told her who
- 15:53Speaker 1: I was. I put my husband out and he went
- 15:56Speaker 1: to stay with her the other day, the lady called
- 15:58Speaker 1: me and said, he can't stay with here anymore because
- 16:01Speaker 1: the thrill is gone. You don't let this dirty cheater
- 16:04Speaker 1: come back home? Well, what you put him out? What
- 16:09Speaker 1: is the consideration for letting him come back home? Just
- 16:11Speaker 1: because she told you he can't stay that no more?
- 16:13Speaker 1: That ain't your problem. That ain't your problem. And he
- 16:17Speaker 1: made a choice. You put him out. He went to
- 16:21Speaker 1: stay with hub damn. Now, huh put him out? Now
- 16:27Speaker 1: you want to take him back? What him? Alb Berner,
- 16:32Speaker 1: Listen to me with this old last's name. Listen to
- 16:34Speaker 1: me Alt Burner married, tell tell alb up Clyde, Tell
- 16:42Speaker 1: Clyde that he got to stay over Bob Betta's house
- 16:46Speaker 1: because he can't come back over here. And if Bob
- 16:49Speaker 1: Betta don't want him stay over there, then he can't
- 16:52Speaker 1: go on over there to Sandras. Because what you're nothing
- 16:55Speaker 1: to do is put up with this no more a
- 16:59Speaker 1: burd Betty Bettna come back over here, noble. That's right,
- 17:14Speaker 1: all right? This was younger. You can get You can
- 17:20Speaker 1: get free people. Name now. McKay in New York says,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm thirty one and my wife is twenty six and
- 17:28Speaker 1: just finished college. I work full time and she's looking
- 17:31Speaker 1: for a job. Tuesday I came home and there was
- 17:35Speaker 1: a man sitting at our table. My wife introduced him
- 17:39Speaker 1: as one of her advisers from school that came by
- 17:41Speaker 1: to help her with her resume. I asked him, why
- 17:44Speaker 1: is he doing? What is he doing home visits in
- 17:47Speaker 1: the middle of a pandemic? Why is he doing this?
- 17:50Speaker 1: My wife motioned for me to leave them alone, and
- 17:53Speaker 1: when he left, she asked me why it was rude
- 17:55Speaker 1: to him. She didn't tell me beforehand about the visit,
- 17:58Speaker 1: and she said she didn't have to. I think she
- 18:01Speaker 1: should have. I don't like surprises, what do you think? Well, hey, man,
- 18:06Speaker 1: what's his name? His name is mackay. See mcay don't
- 18:10Speaker 1: nobody likes surprises. So the dude doing a little house
- 18:14Speaker 1: visiting in the middle of the pandemic, sitting up at
- 18:16Speaker 1: the table with no mask on, how about I surprise
- 18:19Speaker 1: his ass with a friendly home ass whipping, Because see,
- 18:23Speaker 1: I don't give a damn about you telling me. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: don't have to tell you. You're gonna tell me when
- 18:27Speaker 1: when I'm coming in my house and a man sitting
- 18:29Speaker 1: up in here it's called respect. Yes, she should have
- 18:32Speaker 1: told you. How was she like it if she came
- 18:35Speaker 1: home and some chick was sitting up at your table
- 18:38Speaker 1: helping you work through a problem you got. Yeah see,
- 18:43Speaker 1: let me let me explain something to you. Y'all can
- 18:45Speaker 1: feel how you want to feel. There's something that will
- 18:49Speaker 1: never go out of style. What's that? Ass whippers? Always
- 18:55Speaker 1: always thank you. It's gonna be in fashion to the
- 18:59Speaker 1: end of time. And I'm here to let you know.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Even though I'm not really much of a fighter no more,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I have ashwhipping capabilities at all times. I live my
- 19:11Speaker 1: life on ready set. So nah, yeah, man, she tripping.
- 19:16Speaker 1: You're right, man, you should have slapped him. We still
- 19:21Speaker 1: got some ass whippings though. We can still hand something. Yeah,
- 19:28Speaker 1: but it ain't ain't but one way to whip his ass.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have no no ways to do it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: It's one way. Ask women's come with like choice. You know,
- 19:38Speaker 1: you can pick a route. Why do you do that? Okay? Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 1: it's like the equaliser. Did you see the equal When
- 19:46Speaker 1: he'd be looking at stuff around the room and then
- 19:48Speaker 1: all of that becomes part of the ass whipping. It's
- 19:50Speaker 1: like that, you know, it's like, you know, you can
- 19:53Speaker 1: you can let him know what you're fit to do. Okay, okay,
- 19:59Speaker 1: you can you consider at the table and look at
- 20:02Speaker 1: him like this. Yeah, that's the little kind look right there.
- 20:07Speaker 1: That kind of lets another man know something about to
- 20:09Speaker 1: go down. All you can say to your girl, excuse
- 20:12Speaker 1: excuse me for a minute. By men and him got
- 20:15Speaker 1: a little bits to take care of, and you know
- 20:17Speaker 1: what that is. Yeah, yeah, man, step out of the
- 20:23Speaker 1: garage for a second. I want And he was invited
- 20:31Speaker 1: in now, don't that's right? By her? Yeah? By wife. Yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna go ahead and put this bag down if
- 20:37Speaker 1: I come back. All right, thank you. Cello coming up next,
- 20:41Speaker 1: nephew Temmy, he's run that brank back. Right after this.
- 20:44Speaker 1: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 20:49Speaker 1: the hour and trending national news and entertainment news. We're
- 20:52Speaker 1: calling on our prayer worries out there to pray for
- 20:55Speaker 1: sin Bad. We'll tell you about that fifty cent gives um. Yeah,
- 20:59Speaker 1: really sad. Jeremiah um and a Jeremiah update and uh
- 21:03Speaker 1: smokey Robinson says, do not call him African American. All right,
- 21:09Speaker 1: we'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:11Speaker 1: of the but you'll you'll hear it. It's an interesting
- 21:20Speaker 1: take on what he has to say to smoke it.
- 21:22Speaker 1: But what was the story you said? Wants to what? Oh?
- 21:26Speaker 1: He gives an update on Jeremiah the singer Jeremiah Rapper.
- 21:34Speaker 1: We talked about that yesterday. Yeah, right now, the nephew
- 21:39Speaker 1: is in the building. We run that prank back. What
- 21:41Speaker 1: you got for us, Neff, I got a little Curry
- 21:44Speaker 1: guild for you. I'm gonna try and be stupid since
- 21:46Speaker 1: that seems to be what we're doing today. So you
- 21:49Speaker 1: know this is not a proclamation you had to make,
- 21:53Speaker 1: all right, You've succeeded all a matter of fact, you
- 21:56Speaker 1: just go ahead and start talking. He's the best Curry go.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Let's go kid. Hello, Hello, Yeah, I'm trying to reach
- 22:07Speaker 1: your um mister, because mister, yeah, this is Benjamin Dixon.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Trevor is my son. He goes to school with your son.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Now yeah. Uh. He went to a birthday party that
- 22:20Speaker 1: your son had last weekend. Am I right? Yeah, Well listen,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I understand. Listen, I have a problem with you, mister,
- 22:27Speaker 1: because I understand that you all are Jamaican and from Jamaica.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But listen, you guys, serve the children curry goat. You
- 22:36Speaker 1: don't serve kids curry goat. Everybody's child doesn't eat curry
- 22:41Speaker 1: goat pee? What happened to? What happened to ice cream
- 22:44Speaker 1: and cake and punch and maybe even a pizza at
- 22:46Speaker 1: a birthday party for kids? But curry goat? That's out
- 22:50Speaker 1: of the question. Oh you, Oh you mean? But I'm

- 26:22Speaker 1: something I want to tell you. You listening, This is
- 26:26Speaker 1: Nephew time me from the Steve Harvey and Martin Show.
- 26:30Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your sister Patsy. You man
- 26:37Speaker 1: like that? You you hey, hey, you just got pranked
- 26:43Speaker 1: by your sister Patsy bad. She put me up to
- 26:46Speaker 1: this dog boy. I tell you, man, I'm so sweat boy,
- 26:51Speaker 1: like I need to get a blood pressure check. I
- 26:55Speaker 1: got a low. I got a little tolerance, by tolerance,
- 26:58Speaker 1: very low, I tell you that. But anyway, I'm gonna
- 27:06Speaker 1: still feed you and your family from churricles. I better nothing.
- 27:20Speaker 1: You know, when you get angry, American people really counts
- 27:23Speaker 1: in what you're saying. You went on. You went on
- 27:25Speaker 1: a Jamaican run, Like what that boy saying. We gotta
- 27:31Speaker 1: give a shout out to all of the Jamaicans out there. Baby,
- 27:36Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land, Steve
- 27:40Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, New York City, Baby, New York, New
- 27:48Speaker 1: York Baby, I Love you. He had a great ya
- 27:59Speaker 1: Waite co text says that nephew coming to your city
- 28:01Speaker 1: the day after Thanksgiving, that's Black Friday to the Hippodrome.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Got two shows. And the reason why we have two
- 28:07Speaker 1: shows is because we were trying to be COVID nineteen save.
- 28:10Speaker 1: That is the purpose of it. Look at your tickets
- 28:12Speaker 1: and come on out and check out the nephew, Nephew,
- 28:14Speaker 1: Timmy and friends. And I'm coming to act the dog
- 28:16Speaker 1: gone fool. My voice will be back, my strength will
- 28:19Speaker 1: be up, and I will be ignorant one hundred and ignoranto.
- 28:25Speaker 1: All right, thinket's on saying right now? I got a
- 28:27Speaker 1: new word, ignor Rento. Did you see that? Rento? Yeah, yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 1: all right, Ignoro. You have nothing. You have nothing to
- 28:43Speaker 1: say about your nephew, uncle Steve. I did, I did.
- 28:49Speaker 1: So what where were we going with this? I don't
- 28:54Speaker 1: know how you feel about it. Oh, I don't know
- 28:59Speaker 1: what the extra f it it's stupid from him is about.
- 29:01Speaker 1: That's what I don't get. Entertainment and national news coming
- 29:04Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. Right after this,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you're listening to the morning show. In today's entertainment news,
- 29:15Speaker 1: we need our prayer warriors to lift up legendary comedian Sinbad,
- 29:19Speaker 1: and he's our friend. Of course, we all know Sinbad,
- 29:22Speaker 1: lift him up in prayer. Sinbad is recovering from a
- 29:24Speaker 1: recent stroke. His family released the following statement, I know
- 29:28Speaker 1: really sad. His family said, Sinbad is a light source
- 29:32Speaker 1: of love and joy for many generations. The comedians family
- 29:36Speaker 1: put that out and they also said, while he is
- 29:38Speaker 1: beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic
- 29:41Speaker 1: that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon. The
- 29:44Speaker 1: family went on to say thank you in advance for
- 29:47Speaker 1: your love and support and prayers of healing. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:54Speaker 1: we love him. He yeah. Man'ma going to this is
- 30:00Speaker 1: both comedian. Yeah yeah, great brother man. Yeah, because at
- 30:13Speaker 1: this point that's what you could do for a person's
- 30:15Speaker 1: pray for him. You don't know the particulars. He's a
- 30:18Speaker 1: good brother, he's strong, so you know, we got this
- 30:24Speaker 1: all right. Yeah, definitely prayers going out to his family
- 30:27Speaker 1: and a quick recovery for Sinbad. Uh and other entertainment news,
- 30:32Speaker 1: things appear to be looking up for Jeremy. As we
- 30:34Speaker 1: told you on yesterday, he's been on a ventilator while
- 30:37Speaker 1: being treated for COVID nineteen. Now fifty Cent is giving
- 30:40Speaker 1: an update on his condition. He says, thank you for
- 30:42Speaker 1: praying for my boy. He is responsive today, doing a
- 30:47Speaker 1: little better. So that's great news. That's great news. So
- 30:51Speaker 1: many young girls out there love Jeremiah. Yeah they love him,
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yes they do. But see, it's amazing though, when we
- 30:59Speaker 1: get in trouble, we all have a sensible spirituality and
- 31:03Speaker 1: and and mortality, and we start thinking about each other
- 31:06Speaker 1: a little bit more sensibly. It's sad that we have
- 31:09Speaker 1: to wait to moments of tragedy where we start thinking
- 31:12Speaker 1: positively about one another. I don't like that. That's true. State,
- 31:17Speaker 1: that is true. Motown legend Smokey Robinson cannot stand for
- 31:24Speaker 1: anyone to call him African American. He says, everybody stems
- 31:29Speaker 1: from Africa. He told this to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
- 31:35Speaker 1: He says, to him, the term is a sellout. According
- 31:38Speaker 1: to the scientific data we have, the first people on
- 31:41Speaker 1: Earth were in Africa, Smokey explains, with all the black
- 31:45Speaker 1: people that have done things to develop this country, done
- 31:48Speaker 1: the labor and fought in the wars. We deserve to
- 31:51Speaker 1: be called at this point in time American Americans. If
- 31:56Speaker 1: you're going to call us anything, why not just American.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Why do we have to be African Americans? I know
- 32:03Speaker 1: it was probably adopted by some black people for power.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Well why they did that, I do not know. It
- 32:09Speaker 1: is unacceptable to me. This is according to Smokey Robinson. Well,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I mean, I understand where Smokey coming from, and he
- 32:16Speaker 1: has every right to feel how I want to do.
- 32:18Speaker 1: But their identity of being called African American is so
- 32:23Speaker 1: that we can have developed and formed some type of
- 32:26Speaker 1: connection to our true selves, which was Africa. Listen to me,
- 32:31Speaker 1: you're not going to tell white people there from Africa.
- 32:34Speaker 1: They're not trying to hear that. And the facts are clear.
- 32:38Speaker 1: The First Man is Africa, all the biblical stories is Africa,
- 32:44Speaker 1: all the great feats is Africa. But you're not going
- 32:47Speaker 1: to convince it. These are the same people who took
- 32:50Speaker 1: all the images of Christ and change them and bleach them.
- 32:54Speaker 1: When Italy went over to Croatia and took over Croatian
- 32:57Speaker 1: and brought all that stuff back and bleached Jesus white.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And you go to Croatia. In museums where I've been,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and you see images of Christ that's all black. He
- 33:06Speaker 1: had had of lamb's wool and feet like blonde, bronze clay.
- 33:10Speaker 1: That's the description of Christ in the Bible. But they
- 33:12Speaker 1: whitewashed him. So now you're not gonna could get nobody
- 33:15Speaker 1: to do that. So the reason I identify with African
- 33:19Speaker 1: America and nothing against smoking, because I love a brother,
- 33:21Speaker 1: but he got every right to feel whatever. You ain't
- 33:23Speaker 1: gonna call me American American. I'm not getting treated that way,
- 33:26Speaker 1: so don't so save that with me until you're gonna
- 33:29Speaker 1: treat me like an American American. I'd rather pass until
- 33:33Speaker 1: that National anthem meetings the same thing for me as
- 33:36Speaker 1: it do for you. I prefer African America because it
- 33:40Speaker 1: allows me to identify with the continent and the place
- 33:44Speaker 1: that I'm from. And when you go to Africa, you'll
- 33:47Speaker 1: really understand it. Go there and really understand it. Well. Smoke,
- 33:53Speaker 1: he says, everyone stems from Africa. Do not call him
- 33:56Speaker 1: African American. It is unacceptable to him. Okay, well tell
- 33:59Speaker 1: that to white people. That's Americans. He's not fit to
- 34:01Speaker 1: get that. He was Hey, man, hold on one second, Crystal,
- 34:12Speaker 1: can I have it? Ladies and gentleman, A little bit louder, Crystal, please,
- 34:26Speaker 1: A little bit louder, Crystal, please. Today it's November seventeen.
- 34:33Speaker 1: This is a story of a famous dog. I thought
- 34:36Speaker 1: that song was about me, but it's really about no
- 34:40Speaker 1: Vember seventeen. Oh my goodness, the birth of one of
- 34:46Speaker 1: the greatest fraternities ever made, Old Maga Side side. Oh,
- 34:55Speaker 1: no Vember seventeenth, nineteen eleven, all them cues. Man, Happy
- 35:00Speaker 1: birthday to all the brothers out there. Oh man, let
- 35:03Speaker 1: me just go in right now. Let me see you
- 35:18Speaker 1: hop around once. Yeah, that's a Tommy dog. I would
- 35:22Speaker 1: like to say congratulations to brother George Clinton, who pledged
- 35:27Speaker 1: quite some time ago and wants denied the privilege, and
- 35:32Speaker 1: finally he has been made a member of All Mighty
- 35:35Speaker 1: will making Side five. He created the anthem. Why would
- 35:38Speaker 1: he not? Also to all the new brothers to send
- 35:41Speaker 1: the frat welcome to the phone. But to the founding fathers.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I just love Cooper and Coleman. Yeah, thank y'all so
- 35:49Speaker 1: much on making Side five. Happy birthday to Q up
- 35:56Speaker 1: next you're listening, ste All right, ladies and gentlemen, get
- 36:03Speaker 1: ready to stop what you're doing, because our resident poet
- 36:07Speaker 1: Junior is here with a brand new poem. Come on,
- 36:13Speaker 1: just this about Donald Trump to day. Because we're two
- 36:15Speaker 1: weeks removed from the election. Okay, Biden is up five
- 36:19Speaker 1: million votes and he's still talking by whole last and
- 36:26Speaker 1: he still talking about he looking for more votes. Ain't normal.
- 36:29Speaker 1: We all voted. So this poem is called, Hey man,
- 36:33Speaker 1: when you leaving? Uh, dude, when you're leaving, because we
- 36:44Speaker 1: all done counting. We heard you on the golf course
- 36:48Speaker 1: cussing up a storm and doing some pounding. Oh you
- 36:51Speaker 1: had a nice run, but now it's time to go.
- 36:54Speaker 1: It's time to let your big high butt get hit
- 36:58Speaker 1: with the dough. So, dude, when you're leaving. You've been
- 37:02Speaker 1: that way too long. You ain't did nothing right. Everything
- 37:06Speaker 1: you did was wrong. So someone needs to tell you
- 37:10Speaker 1: that it's time for you to go. In the words
- 37:12Speaker 1: of Rose Royce, love, don't live here any more. Get
- 37:16Speaker 1: your ass out. D sick of you. Every day we
- 37:24Speaker 1: turn on the TV. They've thrown all your cases out
- 37:29Speaker 1: into courts. You ain't getting not eight cases nothing, So Donald,
- 37:34Speaker 1: when you leave it, I love it. Anybody else would
- 37:39Speaker 1: be gone. Yeah, you know, conceded, you know, transition team.
- 37:44Speaker 1: You know, it's been a nice little thing. You know,
- 37:46Speaker 1: people understanding, trying to make way for the good of
- 37:49Speaker 1: the country. But can I tell y'all something, No, I
- 37:53Speaker 1: think I think what has happened here h and and
- 37:58Speaker 1: not for those of us who have faith and stuff
- 38:00Speaker 1: like this, but we live in a fallen society and
- 38:06Speaker 1: America's taking a fall like it's never taken before. And
- 38:11Speaker 1: I mean, man, this is not this is not a
- 38:14Speaker 1: good look for us as Americans, especially those that consider
- 38:19Speaker 1: themselves full fledged Americans. That's why again for Smokey Robinson,
- 38:23Speaker 1: I say I attach more to African American because the
- 38:28Speaker 1: American way it's flawed, just like any other system. America
- 38:34Speaker 1: has flaws to it. And this that we're seeing now
- 38:38Speaker 1: where so many people because of social media, and this
- 38:41Speaker 1: guy has taken advantage of tweeter and social media and
- 38:45Speaker 1: has been allowed to just perpetrate lie after lie after
- 38:48Speaker 1: lie and never being held accountable for it, and people
- 38:51Speaker 1: just started believing the lies. A dude was on TV
- 38:53Speaker 1: the other day and the reporter was asking him, so,
- 38:54Speaker 1: I'm a regular hell billy, and he said, well, I
- 38:58Speaker 1: don't thought. Are you news or freak news? What is
- 39:03Speaker 1: your stupid ass talking about? All right, we gotta go, Steve. Listen,
- 39:08Speaker 1: we're gonna take some phone calls. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 39:12Speaker 1: when you get the vaccine and it's deemed safe, what
- 39:15Speaker 1: is the first thing you're gonna do? That is the question.
- 39:17Speaker 1: All right, we'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 39:20Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So, guys,
- 39:25Speaker 1: earlier we talked about Smokey Robinson and the fact that
- 39:28Speaker 1: he does not want to be called African American. He says,
- 39:32Speaker 1: from all the research that's been done, everyone stems from Africa.
- 39:36Speaker 1: He just wants to be called an American. All right,
- 39:39Speaker 1: an American, you know, Steve, you had some issues with it,
- 39:44Speaker 1: saying that we're not recognized as Americans. So that's why
- 39:49Speaker 1: we like to be called African Americans. So we want
- 39:52Speaker 1: our audience to chime in two eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 39:56Speaker 1: we want to see what they think. Let's go to
- 39:57Speaker 1: line two and talk to Ron out of South Carolina. Hey, Ron,
- 40:03Speaker 1: good morning State, Good morning through. Go ahead, what's your comment? Raw?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Real quick? I just you know, I understand what smoke
- 40:10Speaker 1: these comments are coming from. I myself, you know. I
- 40:14Speaker 1: mean there's people from you know, all over the world
- 40:18Speaker 1: that are citizens here in this country and no other
- 40:21Speaker 1: country they're cutting. Nothing else is attached to them but American.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So I mean myself, I would rather either be called
- 40:27Speaker 1: black American or just American. So I just wanted to
- 40:31Speaker 1: know what you thought about that. Cool. I mean, that's cool, man.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Every everybody has a right to feel what they want
- 40:36Speaker 1: to feel, mean something else. I mean, me personally, I'm
- 40:40Speaker 1: identify as African American because I want the contact of
- 40:45Speaker 1: the motherland of my original culture, who I really am,
- 40:49Speaker 1: where I was stolen from. I want that, and until
- 40:53Speaker 1: they started treating me like an American, I'm gonna go
- 40:57Speaker 1: with African American me personally. But you have every right
- 40:59Speaker 1: to feel what you want to. Next car ship, All right,
- 41:01Speaker 1: let's go to line six and talk to ricked out
- 41:03Speaker 1: of Philly Racked. What's your comment. Well, I didn't have
- 41:08Speaker 1: a comment about that, but I wanted to a soul
- 41:13Speaker 1: tent off to Donald Trump by rachels hit the Road Jack.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I understand Brother Junior's poet was about that time. All right,
- 41:31Speaker 1: Line four I'm a leak out of North Carolina. Hey, Malik,
- 41:37Speaker 1: go ahead, what's your comment? Brother? So my comment, I
- 41:40Speaker 1: just want to submit the difference between being an American.
- 41:44Speaker 1: American needs the nationality American. He's not. That's why, because
- 41:49Speaker 1: you can't get to a border from another country and
- 41:52Speaker 1: get there and say I'm the African. Didn't won't let
- 41:54Speaker 1: you eat. You gotta have some type of documentation to
- 41:57Speaker 1: prove that you're from this country's different. That's why they
- 42:01Speaker 1: say there's a there's the Indian way, there's the right way.
- 42:06Speaker 1: If I say I'm American, that's my nationality. If I
- 42:09Speaker 1: say I'm a French national I'm from France, I'm a
- 42:13Speaker 1: French nationality. If I say I'm from Canada, that's the
- 42:17Speaker 1: different race and nationality, right, right, right, He's right about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 1: that's cool. We have. But see, listen to me. That's
- 42:25Speaker 1: my point. It's the race part that gets us treated
- 42:29Speaker 1: un American. See if I'm a part of this, which
- 42:33Speaker 1: I know I am, and I my people built this
- 42:35Speaker 1: country and all like this, then treat us that way.
- 42:38Speaker 1: But see, you don't treat us as Americans. Now I
- 42:42Speaker 1: got national I'm a US citizen. I'm born in America.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I want to identify with my birthright, my homeland. You know,
- 42:55Speaker 1: it's like it's like Italian people they go home to
- 42:58Speaker 1: visit their grandparents, great great grandparents, they go to Italy,
- 43:02Speaker 1: scott Irish people go to Ireland, you know. German people
- 43:06Speaker 1: go to Germany. You know, they get to do that,
- 43:09Speaker 1: you know, and I can you can call it America
- 43:11Speaker 1: what you want to. I like, separate me, because that's
- 43:15Speaker 1: what you've done. But now let me separate me from
- 43:18Speaker 1: my standpoint from a positive I identify as African American
- 43:23Speaker 1: and that's and I got news for you. That's how
- 43:25Speaker 1: we get treated. Yeah, yeah, quickly, if we can go
- 43:29Speaker 1: to line one, Wander out of Detroit. Who Wanda? Is
- 43:34Speaker 1: her name? Wanda? Quickly? What's your comment, Wander? I just
- 43:39Speaker 1: want to say that, UM, I prefer to wait until
- 43:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump is out of office before I try to. Uh,
- 43:47Speaker 1: we're willing to do a bad thing. I don't trust
- 43:49Speaker 1: nothing to Donald Trump say or do. Come on, I voted,
- 43:53Speaker 1: I voted, my husband voted, and mister Harvey, you named

- 44:21Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with sex and money. We'll get into that
- 44:25Speaker 1: in a little while. I'm not like this guy, though, Junior.
- 44:30Speaker 1: But right now the nephew is here. He's here with
- 44:33Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for his neph
- 44:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna do you on this one. You hit my car,
- 44:40Speaker 1: You hit my car, my car, dog, I'm just trying
- 44:44Speaker 1: to take I'm gonna do you on this one. Now
- 44:47Speaker 1: you hit my car. Let's go kat though, Oh you
- 44:50Speaker 1: waste that a lot of play. Hello, I'm trying to
- 44:54Speaker 1: speak to a DALs. This is she. Do you live
- 44:57Speaker 1: an apartment on A seven eight h? That depends on
- 45:00Speaker 1: who are asking? My name is Herman Wales. I live
- 45:03Speaker 1: in building three, apartment one on five. Do you live
- 45:06Speaker 1: in an apartment number seventy eight? What you want with
- 45:09Speaker 1: where I live? Look? Man? Do you drive a camera
- 45:13Speaker 1: or tokyo? The camera light blue? One? Yes? All right,
- 45:17Speaker 1: your next dough. Neighbor then told me that you ran
- 45:20Speaker 1: into my car. I gotta bends, a black one of
- 45:22Speaker 1: two thousand and five C. Two forty. Now I got
- 45:25Speaker 1: light blue scratches on my My neighbor told you what
- 45:30Speaker 1: your neighbor. Matter of fact, his name is Brian Kendall.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I live across the hall. What the cross adem that
- 45:41Speaker 1: live across the hall told you what? Man? Listen, all
- 45:45Speaker 1: I know is he say he lived in apartment eighty.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He lived next door to you. You live in a
- 45:50Speaker 1: supposedly apartment seventy eights right here in Cambridge Court apartments. Now,
- 45:53Speaker 1: all I'm saying is he told me your car is,
- 45:57Speaker 1: which is the light blue car hit my back into
- 46:00Speaker 1: my car? Now, I ain't trying to create no problem,
- 46:02Speaker 1: but somebody got to fix my car and I got
- 46:04Speaker 1: light blue scratches on my bends. Uh. Last I checked
- 46:08Speaker 1: my light blue clamming. Wasn't the only light blue camera
- 46:11Speaker 1: they made. Ma'am, you're the only light You're the only
- 46:14Speaker 1: light blue car in the parking lot anywhere, the only
- 46:16Speaker 1: light blue car in the parking lot. Right now, I
- 46:19Speaker 1: ain't gonna say I've been the only light blue car
- 46:22Speaker 1: in the damn parking lot. Man, I'm done. Look and
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm in the middle watching tea. What can I do
- 46:30Speaker 1: for you? What do you mean? What can you do
- 46:32Speaker 1: for mean? You didn't hit my car. I ain't touch
- 46:34Speaker 1: your damn car. If you got some cameras out in
- 46:36Speaker 1: this parking lot that saw me hit your car, no,
- 46:39Speaker 1: I don't have no cameras. But let then, I believe
- 46:42Speaker 1: this conversation is over, and I don't give a damn
- 46:45Speaker 1: what's across that man across the hall told you. Look,
- 46:48Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You didn't hit my car. Now,
- 46:52Speaker 1: hold on, hold on? Player? Uh is you yelling at me?
- 46:56Speaker 1: I'm not yelling at you, but you didn't hit my car?
- 46:58Speaker 1: You the only touch your damn man. You the only
- 47:00Speaker 1: light blue car in the parking lot, only light blue
- 47:04Speaker 1: car in the parking lot. And nah, and as a
- 47:06Speaker 1: matter of correct, my car ain't even in the parking lot.
- 47:08Speaker 1: My sister car, my cars go to the shop. What
- 47:11Speaker 1: is it possible that your sister is the one that
- 47:13Speaker 1: hit my car? Now? Nah? What okay? Is your sister
- 47:18Speaker 1: when is she coming back? Maybe she hit my car
- 47:20Speaker 1: and didn't tell you she hit my car. Now, she
- 47:22Speaker 1: ain't hit your car. She ain't hit your car, because
- 47:24Speaker 1: she would have told me she hit your damn call. Look, uh,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I said, ain't nobody to hit your damn car. My
- 47:30Speaker 1: car ain't got no damn scratches on it. What you
- 47:32Speaker 1: ain't gonna you won't give a what kind of scratches
- 47:37Speaker 1: you got on your car? But I can't do a
- 47:39Speaker 1: damn thing about it. And even if you did, let
- 47:42Speaker 1: me just be clear, I ain't got no insurance, no way,
- 47:45Speaker 1: so I can't do nothing for you. Wait a minute,
- 47:47Speaker 1: Wait a minute, let me tell you something. You ain't
- 47:49Speaker 1: gotta tell me. You ain't got to tell me. Fine,
- 47:52Speaker 1: and as far as I'm concerned, this conversation is over.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Wait a minute, let me ask you he call it back. Mister.
- 48:01Speaker 1: You act like I ain't got about You had them
- 48:10Speaker 1: scratches on your car all ready, and you ain't going
- 48:13Speaker 1: to use me as no more an excuse to get
- 48:16Speaker 1: you no new paints. I had no scratches already on
- 48:19Speaker 1: my car. Yeah you had him, Oh yeah, you had
- 48:20Speaker 1: no I'm gonna tell him an insurance and just if
- 48:24Speaker 1: he come over here, na, because you're gonna be using
- 48:27Speaker 1: your insurance. I now re told you ain't got any
- 48:29Speaker 1: don't make me come over to your apartment. No. Seven,
- 48:31Speaker 1: standing in the door. I'm on my way to the

- 53:27Speaker 1: do twelve in a weekend, that's before you start talking
- 53:29Speaker 1: a job. Very let her up. Next she said, I'm
- 53:31Speaker 1: obsessed with sex and money. We'll get into it right

- 56:03Speaker 1: this one right here, right now. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 56:06Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is the strong
- 56:08Speaker 1: Mary Letta subject. She said, I'm obsessed with sex and money.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been living with my current girlfriend
- 56:16Speaker 1: for two years, and everything is great until we start
- 56:18Speaker 1: talking about our finances. I've worked since I was a kid,
- 56:21Speaker 1: and now all I want to do is save money
- 56:23Speaker 1: and keep my small black owned business afloat. My girlfriend
- 56:26Speaker 1: is not good with money, and she's lived check to
- 56:29Speaker 1: check since I've known her. I've talked to her about
- 56:32Speaker 1: saving money and getting her credit straight so creditors will
- 56:35Speaker 1: stop calling her. She's thirty three years old and careless.
- 56:39Speaker 1: She wants to get married, but I'm so glad we
- 56:41Speaker 1: decided to live together first because money is a major
- 56:45Speaker 1: deal breaker for me. The other deal breaker is the
- 56:48Speaker 1: lack of sex and how bad she makes me feel
- 56:51Speaker 1: when we do have sex. I know we're not married,
- 56:53Speaker 1: and she tells me I can't expect her to act
- 56:55Speaker 1: like a wife without a ring. It's got to be
- 56:58Speaker 1: my birthday or especially ka to get sex. One day,
- 57:01Speaker 1: after one of our heated arguments about money, I left
- 57:05Speaker 1: the house and went to the gym. When I left
- 57:08Speaker 1: the gym, I went to my ex girlfriend's house to
- 57:10Speaker 1: see her mom, who was visiting. Just seeing my ex
- 57:13Speaker 1: girlfriend in her own home at twenty nine years old,
- 57:16Speaker 1: with two cars and a successful home based business, it
- 57:19Speaker 1: was hard to go back home to my trifling girlfriend
- 57:22Speaker 1: with bad credit. I got home late, so I had
- 57:25Speaker 1: to be honest about where i'd been. My girlfriend accused
- 57:28Speaker 1: me of wanting my ex and comparing her to my ex.
- 57:33Speaker 1: She said, I am a male gold digger and all
- 57:35Speaker 1: I care about is sex and money. I told her
- 57:37Speaker 1: I want an equal partner. That I can stack money
- 57:41Speaker 1: with I love her, but she needs to step her
- 57:43Speaker 1: game up. What's so bad about that? Well, I'm glad
- 57:48Speaker 1: to hear you said in the last line that you
- 57:50Speaker 1: love her because there might be a little hope for
- 57:52Speaker 1: this kind of weird relationship you got going on here.
- 57:56Speaker 1: The bad part is you comparing her and she doesn't
- 57:59Speaker 1: like it either to your X. If your X was
- 58:01Speaker 1: that great, then why did you break up with her
- 58:03Speaker 1: in the first place. You know, we say that a
- 58:05Speaker 1: lot on this show. We always say it. She is
- 58:08Speaker 1: your X for a reason. Why haven't you seriously try
- 58:12Speaker 1: to get her to save money, like getting you know,
- 58:14Speaker 1: helping her to get on a budget or get her
- 58:16Speaker 1: credit fixed. You're working with a financial planner, since it's
- 58:20Speaker 1: such a deal breaker for you. And you're not so
- 58:24Speaker 1: perfect either, you're not. I think you're selfish. I think
- 58:26Speaker 1: you want the money right and you want the sex
- 58:29Speaker 1: right from her. But what have you given her but
- 58:31Speaker 1: some nagging about money and sex. I mean, I think
- 58:34Speaker 1: she has every right to want to ring and marriage
- 58:36Speaker 1: out of this. You want her to act like a
- 58:39Speaker 1: wife when it comes to sex and money. I'm sure
- 58:41Speaker 1: that's a turn off to her, to be constantly arguing
- 58:44Speaker 1: about money. I don't think you're a goal digger. I
- 58:47Speaker 1: do think you're somewhat materialistic. And the other thing is
- 58:50Speaker 1: it's not cool for you to be running to your
- 58:52Speaker 1: ex when things get rough and calling your current girlfriend
- 58:55Speaker 1: trifling trifling, that's disrespectful. I mean, who do you think
- 58:59Speaker 1: you are? I know you don't think there's anything wrong
- 59:01Speaker 1: with you, but for now, I think you should concentrate
- 59:04Speaker 1: on fixing yourself. Maybe you can find a kinder approach.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Your love is very conditional, Steve. Yeah, that's a great answer, Sherley.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I disagree with damn Neil everything you said, just damn Neil,
- 59:17Speaker 1: not everything, but damn Nil, this dude is not selfish
- 59:23Speaker 1: at all. This young man has a very very valid point.
- 59:29Speaker 1: We have a problem here. You know, everything was great
- 59:35Speaker 1: with living with your current girlfriend for two years until
- 59:38Speaker 1: y'all start talking about finances. Now, this dude and hustling
- 59:42Speaker 1: since he was a kid, saying money, keep a small
- 59:44Speaker 1: black business and float congratulations. Brother, your girl ain't good
- 59:48Speaker 1: with money. She's lial check to check. Since you've known
- 59:50Speaker 1: herm you talk to her about saving money, Shirley, He
- 59:54Speaker 1: does set her down and talk to you about saving
- 59:56Speaker 1: money and getting her credit straight so credit us will
- 59:59Speaker 1: stop calling her. She's thirty three year old and careless.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: She wants to get married, but I'm so glad we
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: decided to live with because money is a deal breaker
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: for me. Keyword in this whole letter, money is a
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: deal breaker, And according to the letter, he got another one.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: We come back. I'll address it all all right, Steve's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: response to she said, I'm obsessed with sex and money?
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Twenty three after We'll be right back. You're listening show,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: all right, Steve, come on, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: The subject she said, I'm obsessed with sex and money. Well,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: you know, this is a letter where Shirley and I
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: had a little discrepancy on how we would handle this
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because she has a problem with this young man and
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I don't. They've been living together, everything was going great
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: until they bring up the subject is she said, I'm
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: obsessed with sex and money. Well, every time they bring
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: up money, it's a problem because this girl don't like
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to save. She lived check the check. He just been
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: trying to save money to keep his small black business afloat,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and ever since he was a kid, her creditors is
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: calling her. She thirty three years old and careless, and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: she wants to get married. And the brother said, I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: so glad we decided to live together first, because money
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: is a major deal breaker for me. Now the key
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: word in this is money is a deal breaker. Well,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: if it's a deal breaker, looks like the deal is
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: broken because she ain't good with money. So now let's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: go on down the letter a little bit. The other
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: deal breaker is the lack of sex. Okay, hold up,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: let's pump the breaks right here. Y'all got a problem
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: with money and in your thirties, there's a lack of sex.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: What what? What? Why is we still typing? Right right?
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: You're the best up the money and you are passing
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: out a lack of sex. Oh see, you can mess
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: up some money. If the sex is good, I work
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: with you, deal with it. I can try to get
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: through it. We got something to work with. But you're
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: messing up the money and the sex ain't good and
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: and and it's infrequent. And then he said, and how

- 1:07:17Speaker 1: She can quit accusing him now. You could get around
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: and lack of money if you just pass out some
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: most sex. You can't because he's nagging her all the time.

- 1:08:37Speaker 1: white folks coming down the fall. Harvey dump picks for
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: the white folks, hard picking for the white folks. Hundred
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and three million dolland dollars contract Harvey is amazing. Yeah,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: he has national wins again, to play with Kevin Rand, Kyrie, Irvin,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: other possible teams on here. He gonna play for his

- 1:09:04Speaker 1: fit in Philly. Yeah, well he would be in Philly
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: because Simmons can't shoot. But he's a hell of a
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: ball player. But he got to work on his outside shot.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Philly would be a great fit for him. There's not

- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Coming up, we'll talk about why the Georgia state runoff
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: election it's so vitally important for us. Right after this,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show in trending
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: political news. Here is why. In case you're asking, here's
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: why the Georgia's Senate runoff race is so important, so
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: vitally important for America. Now. If Reverend Raphael Warnock and
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: John Assoff beat their incumbent, the Democrats will regain control
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: of the Senate. Kamala Harris, the Vice President elect, will
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: serve as the tide breaking vote in this. If it's
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: this fifty fifty split or something, okay, or fifty fifty time.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Right now, Democrats hold the US House, but fear Republican
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: trolled Senate. They're fearing that that would stop President elect
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Joe Biden's agenda for from a nationwide COVID nineteen response
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to economic stimulus initiatives. Okay, Meanwhile, the Republicans are terrified
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: of losing this race, and they are donating millions of
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: dollars for Georgia's Republican campaigns. All right, I mean millions
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: of it. That's why you see such negative ads. Warning,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I mean they're all negative. This woman who's an incumbent
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: right now, I haven't seen one ad about what she does. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: they're just trying to scare people away from That's not
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: what this is. And you know that's not eight Hail,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: no party for Fadale Castro and all that. Man. Stop
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: but y'all tripping. And then what he said about Reverend right,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you did not even understand the context which they clipped
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: that whole thing from. See, I saw it. They they
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: they they're real devilish when they want to be. You know,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: get in part. We're gonna ignore that they've been lying
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: about us for four hundred years. What is new, So
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: they're very devilish when it comes to this. I'm talking
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: about the enemy. This is not this is not a
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: racial comment. I'm talking about the enemies against righteousness and
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: justice those enemies, whatever color you are, that's what I'm
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: talking about. It's not a racial statement. So we've got
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: to get to the polls and we've got to we've
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: got to register more voters. So brothers, all of y'all
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: have set this last one out, like all said said,

- 1:13:30Speaker 1: was a flute. We're gonna stop all this. They found
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: some votes down in Rome or whatever. Man, so that hill. Yeah,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: it's crazy. Our work isn't done, is what you're saying, Steve.

- 1:21:53Speaker 1: is when it ends. January fifth is election day, January fifth,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, and we just gotta encourage you to
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: get out and vote Georgia. We have to do it.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Vote for Reverend Rafael Warnock and John Ausoff. Okay, we
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: need those two Senate seats please. Yeah, and you know this,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: this is all dependent. These two Senate seats are dependent
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: on voters in Georgia. Not a Republicans are doing what
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: they do, the vicious, nasty, ugly, dirty smear campaigns. One
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: of the people, uh, the incumbent Kelly Laffler. She has
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: no record to stand on. She's trying to get rid
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: of healthcare in the middle of a pandemic. She's one
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: of the wealthiest people in the Senate. Yes, uh, I
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: hate to tell you this, but they are not many,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: many rich, rich people that care about the average person.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: It's not a lot. There are some, but there's not
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: a lot. And I'm just being honest with you. I'm
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: just telling you how they think. It's amazing because most
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: people who are in her position inherited their money from
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: an inheritance or family. And most of these families, a
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: lot of families that are wealthy come from generational wealth.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: And generational wealth was created during the slavery slave era.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: When you can own a business and you don't have
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: to pay any employees, do you understand how profitable, how
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: profitable that business is. You have no healthcare, you have
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: no employees, you have no salaries, You don't you ain't
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: got to worry about nobody calling the in sick, ain't
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: no traffic what and at a lot of them, not all,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: but a lot of generational wealth in this country was
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: built on the backs of slavery. So that's why I
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: want a lot of these people, I eat Donald Trump
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: get in the position therein they have no understanding compassion
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: for everyday people. Why because they've never been one. That's
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: why this man can constantly make this statement, I'm the
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: least racist person. You know, you're not. It's just that
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: you operate in a circle of people where your line
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: of thinking is par for the course. It's acceptable you
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: are racist. You do make racist comments if you just
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: look at this man's presidency. And I've said this a
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: hundred times on this show, but everything Donald Trump has done,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: every stand he's made, is against somebody who isn't white.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I don't care if it's the Chinese, the band of Muslims,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: the Doc program, the wall, Colin Kaeperny, fire, all the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: NFL players who get on their need for the flag,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter, the five young men in a Central
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Park when he took out a full page ad to
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: convict these five innocent young men, the housing acted him
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: and his father enacted against blacks and not rinting to him.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Everything in this man's life, every major cause that he
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: takes up, has something to do against someone who is
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: not white. Now, because in your circle of friends, you
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: don't call that racism, that don't that doesn't excuse it,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: that doesn't free you up from the label of being
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: a racist or a bigot he is. He's proven it
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: time and time and time again, and because he's been
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: coddled and he inherited his father's money again and explains
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: why he won't concede in this election because he said
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: in one of his speeches, I would be embarrassed to
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: lose to the worst candidate ever. Joe Biden is the
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: worst candidate. That would be like a complete joke if
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I lost to the worst candidate ever. You lost to
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: President elect Joe Biden, Vice President elect Kamala Harris, you lost,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: but you can't say you lost because you've never had
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: to face that he's not even the businessman you all
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: think he is. I mean, all these bankruptcies. Can I
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: tell you if someone told me, a part of the
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: reason why you get to pay seven hundred and fifteen
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: dollars in taxes is because if a lot of your
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: income is from loans, you don't have to use loans
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: as income. I'm just telling you what somebody told me.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: But eventually, and the reason you take out loans is
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: because you keep filing bankruptcy and people keep trusting you
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: that you'll get it right. And he has it. Listen,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: at the end of the day, enough is enough. We've
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: seen all we need to see for four years. Let's
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: get on. Let's not get sidetrack with who asks for
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: this package, platinum package, whether we want to be Americans
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: or African America. Let's not get sidetrack. We got some
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: bills to take care of. In Georgia. You have to
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: December seventh to register to vote, and you have early
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: voting starts December fourteenth through December thirty. First, if you
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: miss in there that the election day is January fifth.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: We have to elect John Alsoff and we have to
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: elect Raphael Warning. That's it, period, and then we can
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: control some things and get some more sensibility back in
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: the White House. He has to go. Enough said, Let's
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: do it, Georgia. Let's show up. Show up for all
