- 0:10Speaker 1: school shooting, and two officers shot responding to this mass
- 0:16Speaker 1: shooting in Uvalde, Texas. What is it the Democrats are
- 0:20Speaker 1: obsessed over? They are obsessed over deer and keV larves.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Deer and keV lar vest seem to be the number
- 0:28Speaker 1: one thing that they want the debate to be about,
- 0:31Speaker 1: unless you think or something. Yeah, unless you think the
- 0:36Speaker 1: deer wearing kevlar vests or something. President Biden addressed in
- 0:40Speaker 1: a nation on the school shooting, and he said, over
- 0:44Speaker 1: and over again, he said at the say of the Union,
- 0:46Speaker 1: he said the White House Press Conference back on six
- 0:50Speaker 1: twenty three of twenty twenty one. He's now staying on
- 0:53Speaker 1: five twenty four of twenty twenty two, over and over again,
- 0:58Speaker 1: the Second Amendment. They have reduced to an issue and
- 1:00Speaker 1: a debate that this is in their mind, really just
- 1:04Speaker 1: simply about one issue, and that's hunting and kevlar vests,
- 1:09Speaker 1: unless or something there. It is all right, quickly. I

- 2:38Speaker 1: I think it's important that we take a moment and
- 2:40Speaker 1: look at what the Second Amendment is actually about. The
- 2:43Speaker 1: Constitution United States American and the Second Amendment make it
- 2:45Speaker 1: very clear. And here's what it says. Second Amendment is
- 2:48Speaker 1: about a well regulated, a well regulated militia, and it's
- 2:55Speaker 1: being necessary they're defending this militia to secure for the security,
- 3:01Speaker 1: to the security of a free state. You want freedom,
- 3:06Speaker 1: you better have a real well regulated militia. The right
- 3:11Speaker 1: of the people to keep and bear arms are founding
- 3:15Speaker 1: fathers understood it was so important that that they even
- 3:17Speaker 1: said shall not be infringed. If you look at the
- 3:25Speaker 1: Second Amendment and you understand the Second Amendment, it's very
- 3:32Speaker 1: clear that the Second Amendment was about bearing and keeping arms,
- 3:36Speaker 1: not giving them up. They understood it was necessary for
- 3:40Speaker 1: the security of a free state. The right of the
- 3:42Speaker 1: people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Why did they say that. Now, do you hear anything
- 3:47Speaker 1: in there about hunting or bambi or dear No? And
- 3:51Speaker 1: the reason why is pretty clear. The US Constitution and
- 3:56Speaker 1: the Second Amendment right to bear arms had nothing to
- 3:59Speaker 1: do with that. And the liberals keep going out there
- 4:04Speaker 1: and they keep talking about banning firearms. They keep going
- 4:10Speaker 1: out there and saying, oh, we must ban firearms. You
- 4:14Speaker 1: look at the Second Amendment. It's pretty short, by the way,
- 4:18Speaker 1: it's not that long. But the modern debate now as well,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you shouldn't need a bunch of a bunch of ammo, right,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and there's a certain weapon to kill Bambi. That's the
- 4:27Speaker 1: modern liberal debate about the Second Amendment. It's focused on
- 4:30Speaker 1: whether you need it to hunt, right, That's what they say.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's about do you need it to hunt? It's not
- 4:40Speaker 1: what the Second Amendment is actually about. It's about the
- 4:46Speaker 1: private right, not the state's right. The private's right. It's
- 4:49Speaker 1: about protecting the private right of individuals to keep and
- 4:52Speaker 1: bear arms. Or it's not about the government regulating it.
- 4:58Speaker 1: In fact, they wrote it to make sure the government
- 5:00Speaker 1: didn't regulate it the way that Democrats are trying to
- 5:02Speaker 1: do it now. But many liberals have now said, and
- 5:07Speaker 1: they want you to believe that this is about Bambi.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Many in the founding generation believe that governments are prone
- 5:17Speaker 1: to use soldiers to oppress the people. We have a
- 5:20Speaker 1: lot of history to back this up, including what's happening
- 5:24Speaker 1: right now in Ukraine, what's happening in China, what's happening
- 5:29Speaker 1: in the Middle East. English history suggests that this risk
- 5:34Speaker 1: could be controlled by permitting the government to raise armies
- 5:39Speaker 1: consisting of full time paid troops only when needed to
- 5:44Speaker 1: fight foreign adversaries. For other purposes, such as responding to
- 5:47Speaker 1: sudden invasions or other emergencies, the government can rely on
- 5:51Speaker 1: a militia that consisted of ordinary civilians who actually had
- 5:56Speaker 1: their own weapons, that had unpaid a military training, and
- 6:02Speaker 1: maybe if we were being invaded, could even receive some
- 6:04Speaker 1: part time, unpaid training from our government. They've had a
- 6:11Speaker 1: massive shift of power from states the federal government, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: now we know what happens when the federal government takes
- 6:19Speaker 1: too much power. They try to overthrow the will of
- 6:22Speaker 1: the people in elections. We just saw this in twenty sixteen.
- 6:25Speaker 1: We see the framing of a president for crimes they
- 6:27Speaker 1: never committed. We saw that in twenty sixteen. We know
- 6:30Speaker 1: that Hillary Clinton and the FBI and the deep state
- 6:34Speaker 1: knew they were lying about Donald Trump creating a lie
- 6:37Speaker 1: about Russian collision and Alpha Bank, and they did it
- 6:39Speaker 1: to overthrow and to manipulate an election. You want to
- 6:42Speaker 1: talk about interference in election, coming up with your own lie,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and then try to frame someone so that they will
- 6:50Speaker 1: be prosecuted or be impeached so you can get rid
- 6:52Speaker 1: of them because you don't like who the American people
- 6:54Speaker 1: voted for. This is exactly what the federalists were worried about,
- 6:58Speaker 1: and that's why they respond to those fears of a
- 7:01Speaker 1: federal oppression of the people. And that's exactly why they
- 7:06Speaker 1: said the American people need to be armed. They didn't
- 7:10Speaker 1: say it was about Bambi, and they didn't say that
- 7:12Speaker 1: it was about the military. In fact, they made it
- 7:15Speaker 1: clear that it was they needed to be armed so
- 7:17Speaker 1: that they could stand up two enemies, foreign and domestic,
- 7:22Speaker 1: which would include the actual military. The debate, by the way,
- 7:29Speaker 1: was pretty ferocious if you go back and look at
- 7:31Speaker 1: the notes when they were first looking at the proposed
- 7:36Speaker 1: new constitution, they gave the federal government almost total legal
- 7:40Speaker 1: authority over the army and militia. So as children have
- 7:46Speaker 1: been killed massacred in the school shooting in Texas, nineteen kids,
- 7:52Speaker 1: two teachers killed in the school shooting, and two officers
- 7:56Speaker 1: shot responding to this mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, what
- 8:02Speaker 1: is it The Democrats are obsessed over. They are obsessed
- 8:06Speaker 1: over deer and keV larves. Deer and keV larves seem
- 8:11Speaker 1: to be the number one thing that they want the
- 8:13Speaker 1: debate to be about, unless you think the de l
- 8:18Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, unless you think the deer are wearing
- 8:20Speaker 1: keV lar vests or something. President Biden addressing a nation
- 8:24Speaker 1: on the school shooting, and he said, over and over again,
- 8:28Speaker 1: he said it to say the Union, he said at
- 8:30Speaker 1: the White House Press conference back on six twenty three
- 8:34Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one. He's now staying on five twenty four,
- 8:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, over and over again. The Second Amendment.
- 8:42Speaker 1: They have reduced to an issue and a debate that
- 8:45Speaker 1: this is, in their mind, really just simply about one issue,
- 8:49Speaker 1: and that's hunting and kevlar vest. Unless you think the
- 8:54Speaker 1: deer bring kevlar vests or something. There it is unless
- 9:00Speaker 1: you think the deer wearing kevlar vests or something. Now,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I think it's important that we take a moment and
- 9:06Speaker 1: look at what the Second Amendment is actually about the
- 9:09Speaker 1: Constitution of United States American and the Second Amendment make
- 9:12Speaker 1: it very clear, and here's what it says. The Second
- 9:15Speaker 1: Amendment is about a well regulated, a well regulated militia,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and it's being necessary. They're defending this militia to secure
- 9:26Speaker 1: for the security, to the security of a free state.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You want freedom, you better have a well regulated militia.
- 9:37Speaker 1: The right of people to keep and bear arms are founding.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Fathers understood so important that that they even said shall
- 9:45Speaker 1: not be infringed. If you look at the Second Amendment
- 9:54Speaker 1: and you understand the Second Amendment, it's very clear the
- 10:00Speaker 1: Second Amendment was about bearing and keeping arms, not giving
- 10:03Speaker 1: them up. They understood it was necessary for the security
- 10:07Speaker 1: of a free state. The right of the people to
- 10:08Speaker 1: keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Why did
- 10:12Speaker 1: they say that. Now, do you hear anything in there
- 10:14Speaker 1: about hunting or bambi or deer? No? And the reason
- 10:18Speaker 1: why is pretty clear. The US Constitution and the Second
- 10:23Speaker 1: Amendment right to bear arms had nothing to do with that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And the liberals keep going out there and they keep
- 10:32Speaker 1: talking about banning firearms. They keep going out there and saying, oh,
- 10:37Speaker 1: we must ban firearms. You know, you look at the
- 10:41Speaker 1: Second Amendment. It's pretty short, by the way, it's not
- 10:45Speaker 1: that long. But the modern debate now as well, you
- 10:48Speaker 1: shouldn't need a bunch of a bunch of ammo, right,
- 10:51Speaker 1: and there's a certain weapon to kill Bambi. That's the
- 10:54Speaker 1: modern liberal debate about the Second Amendment. It's focused on
- 10:57Speaker 1: whether you need it to hunt, right, That's what they say.
- 11:02Speaker 1: It's about do you need it to hunt? It's not
- 11:06Speaker 1: what the Second Amendment is actually about. It's about the
- 11:12Speaker 1: private right, not the state's right. The private's right. It's
- 11:16Speaker 1: about protecting the private right of individuals to keep and
- 11:19Speaker 1: bear arms. Or it's not about the government regulating it.
- 11:24Speaker 1: In fact, they wrote it to make sure the government
- 11:26Speaker 1: didn't regulate it the way that Democrats are trying to
- 11:29Speaker 1: do it now. But many liberals have now said and
- 11:37Speaker 1: they want you to believe that this is about Bambi.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Many in the founding generation believe that governments are prone
- 11:46Speaker 1: to use soldiers to oppress the people. We have a
- 11:50Speaker 1: lot of history to back this up, including what's happening
- 11:53Speaker 1: right now in Ukraine, what's happening in China, what's happening
- 11:58Speaker 1: in the Middle East. English history suggests that this risk
- 12:04Speaker 1: could be controlled by permitting the government to raise armies
- 12:08Speaker 1: consisting of full time paid troops. Only we needed to
- 12:13Speaker 1: fight foreign adversaries. For other purposes, such as responding to
- 12:17Speaker 1: sudden invasions or other emergencies, the government could rely on
- 12:20Speaker 1: a militia that consisted of ordinary civilians who actually had
- 12:25Speaker 1: their own weapons, that had unpaid military training, and maybe
- 12:31Speaker 1: if we were being invaded, could even receive some part time,
- 12:35Speaker 1: unpaid training from our government. We've had a massive shift
- 12:43Speaker 1: of power from states the federal government, and now we
- 12:46Speaker 1: know what happens when the federal government takes too much power.
- 12:51Speaker 1: They try to overthrow the will of the people in elections.
- 12:53Speaker 1: We just saw this in twenty sixteen. We see the
- 12:56Speaker 1: framing of a Present for crimes he never committed. We
- 12:59Speaker 1: saw that in two thousand sixteen. We know that Hillary
- 13:01Speaker 1: Clinton and the FBI and the deep state knew they
- 13:05Speaker 1: were lying about Donald Trump creating a lie about Russian
- 13:08Speaker 1: collusion and Alpha Bank, and they did it to overthrow
- 13:10Speaker 1: and to manipulate an election. You want to talk about
- 13:15Speaker 1: interference an election, coming up with your own lie and
- 13:19Speaker 1: then try to frame someone so that they will be
- 13:21Speaker 1: prosecuted or be impeached so you can get rid of
- 13:23Speaker 1: them because you don't like the American people voted for.
- 13:25Speaker 1: This is exactly what the federalists were worried about, and
- 13:29Speaker 1: that's why they responded to those fears of a federal
- 13:32Speaker 1: oppression of the people. And that's exactly why they said
- 13:37Speaker 1: the American people need to be armed. They didn't say
- 13:40Speaker 1: it was about Bambi, and they didn't say that it
- 13:43Speaker 1: was about the military. In fact, they made it clear
- 13:46Speaker 1: that it was they needed to be armed so that
- 13:48Speaker 1: they could stand up two enemies, foreign and domestic, which
- 13:53Speaker 1: would include the actual military. The debate, by the way,
- 13:58Speaker 1: was pretty ferocious. If you go back and look at
- 14:00Speaker 1: the notes when they were first looking at the proposed
- 14:04Speaker 1: new constitution, they gave the federal government almost total legal
- 14:07Speaker 1: authority over the army and militia. That's what they wanted
- 14:11Speaker 1: to do, all right. So here's the kicker that people
- 14:15Speaker 1: need to understand about our Second Amendment. The kicker of
- 14:21Speaker 1: this entire debate that was happening between the federalists and
- 14:24Speaker 1: the anti federalists is that they both agreed on one
- 14:27Speaker 1: thing and didn't even debate it because they both agreed
- 14:31Speaker 1: with it. When they started looking at the Second Amendment debate,
- 14:36Speaker 1: there was widespread agreement that the federal government should not
- 14:41Speaker 1: have the power to infringe on the rights of the
- 14:45Speaker 1: people to keep and bear arms anymore than it should
- 14:49Speaker 1: have the power to abridge the freedom of speech or
- 14:52Speaker 1: prohibit the free exercise of religion. That's how important it
- 15:01Speaker 1: was for the Founding fathers to make it clear that
- 15:04Speaker 1: the United States of America and its citizens had to
- 15:08Speaker 1: have the right to bear arms, a well regulated militia
- 15:12Speaker 1: being necessary for the security of a free state. It
- 15:15Speaker 1: was about states rights and the right of the people
- 15:18Speaker 1: to keep and bear arms shall not be in fringe.
- 15:23Speaker 1: There was unification in our government when there were some nasty,
- 15:29Speaker 1: ugly debates taking place while they were doing the documents
- 15:33Speaker 1: to found our country, the Founding Documents to protect and
- 15:36Speaker 1: defend us and to turn us into something it was
- 15:38Speaker 1: different than what they had left around the world. They
- 15:45Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that civilians could have the same
- 15:49Speaker 1: weapons that would they would need if they were called
- 15:52Speaker 1: to serve in the militia, while modern soldiers would have
- 15:57Speaker 1: the same equipment. They wanted to make sure that the
- 16:00Speaker 1: soldiers didn't have better equipment than the citizens. In fact,
- 16:04Speaker 1: they debated that They said that the soldier's equipment and
- 16:09Speaker 1: the citizens equipment actually needed to be the same. They
- 16:15Speaker 1: said that it was important that the weapons would be
- 16:18Speaker 1: able to have a dual purpose, to serve in the
- 16:20Speaker 1: military if need be. That's why they said that this
- 16:27Speaker 1: was about a well regulated militia. That's why they said
- 16:31Speaker 1: it was a necessity to the security of a freeman
- 16:36Speaker 1: of a free state. And that's why they said that
- 16:42Speaker 1: we should not limit people's rights to bear arms. In fact,
- 16:48Speaker 1: they said they shall not be infringed. So when you
- 16:52Speaker 1: hear Joe Biden and the Democrats say over and over again,
- 16:54Speaker 1: he said it three times the last six months, mocking
- 16:58Speaker 1: our constitution and mocking your in eligence by saying it's
- 17:01Speaker 1: about Bambi and a kevl r vest unless you or something,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I cannot tell you how impactful my trip was to
- 17:12Speaker 1: Hungary and to watch and to witness and to listen
- 17:15Speaker 1: to those who have lived under communist rule, who have
- 17:19Speaker 1: been invaded by the communists, who've been invaded by the
- 17:22Speaker 1: worst men in the world, Stalin and Hitler. And when
- 17:28Speaker 1: you talk to the people there, that one freedom. One
- 17:29Speaker 1: of the things they understand very clearly is that you
- 17:32Speaker 1: have to be able to protect and defend yourself. And
- 17:34Speaker 1: if you can't protect and defend yourself. It is a
- 17:36Speaker 1: game over Look at the first thing they did when
- 17:40Speaker 1: the Russians started to invade in Ukraine. They started handing
- 17:43Speaker 1: out every weapon they could get their hands on. You
- 17:46Speaker 1: notice that right, every weapon they could get their hands on,
- 17:51Speaker 1: they started handing it out, and people were taught being
- 17:55Speaker 1: taught by military people. You notice it was the people
- 17:58Speaker 1: in the military in Ukraine that were teaching the citizens
- 18:01Speaker 1: in Ukraine how to shoot those weapons. They were handing
- 18:05Speaker 1: out those weapons to grandparents to eighty and ninety year
- 18:10Speaker 1: old men. Don't forget that they were handing those weapons
- 18:16Speaker 1: out to their citizens and they were being trained by
- 18:22Speaker 1: their military because that's the firepower they knew they were
- 18:25Speaker 1: going to need to stand up to the foreign invaders,
- 18:27Speaker 1: which was Russia. When the government says, don't worry, We're
- 18:31Speaker 1: here to protect you. Let me also remind you about history.
- 18:34Speaker 1: The entire free world told Ukraine that if they would
- 18:39Speaker 1: just give up their nuclear weapons, which they had, that
- 18:42Speaker 1: we would protect them. By the way, the United States
- 18:46Speaker 1: of America told that lie, the European Union told that lie,
- 18:50Speaker 1: NATO told that line, the United Nations in general told
- 18:55Speaker 1: that lie. Hundreds of countries stood and said to Ukraine,
- 19:01Speaker 1: just trust us, get rid of those nuclear weapons, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: we will keep you safe from foreign invaders. It did
- 19:11Speaker 1: not happen. It did not work. It was a colossal failure.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Ukraine right now would not be would not have been
- 19:25Speaker 1: taken over, I argued by Russia. They would have kept
- 19:28Speaker 1: their nuclear weapons. Ukraine right now would not be in
- 19:31Speaker 1: the place they are right now if the world wouldn't
- 19:33Speaker 1: have lied to them. By the way, but we did,
- 19:37Speaker 1: including America. When you watch and you witness what happens
- 19:43Speaker 1: when bad people try to take over a country, you
- 19:46Speaker 1: understand that the debate is not about Bambi, and it's
- 19:48Speaker 1: certainly not about a kevlar vest. It's about can you
- 19:52Speaker 1: stand up to a rogue government? And if you think
- 19:55Speaker 1: America's government isn't going rogue, I have to say it
- 19:58Speaker 1: over again. The leader of the Democratic Party, the FBI,
- 20:02Speaker 1: the CIA, and the President Knight States America. At the time,
- 20:04Speaker 1: Barack Obama knew they were trying to overthrow the will
- 20:07Speaker 1: of the people by framing it Donald Trump for crimes
- 20:10Speaker 1: he did not commit, which was colluding with the Russians
- 20:13Speaker 1: and secret servers with Alpha Bank, and they all knew
- 20:15Speaker 1: it was a lie. That was actually manifested out of
- 20:18Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton's campaign, paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign, and
- 20:22Speaker 1: the deep state in the CIA and the FBI knew it,
- 20:24Speaker 1: and no one went to Congress and said, stop the impeachment.
- 20:28Speaker 1: You're impeaching him over something it's not plausible, that's not possible,
- 20:33Speaker 1: that didn't happen. We've looked at the data and we
- 20:37Speaker 1: have assessed very quickly that this data is not credible.
- 20:43Speaker 1: They let it happen, folks. So if you think we
- 20:48Speaker 1: live in the greatest country in the world and this
- 20:49Speaker 1: country would never ever or ever have something like this happened,
- 20:53Speaker 1: you're stupid. You want to protect people, You want to
- 20:57Speaker 1: fix people, want to protect children, you want to fix
- 21:01Speaker 1: this problem. I should say, fine, let's have a real
- 21:05Speaker 1: conversation about that. Why do we not have police officers
- 21:13Speaker 1: at every public school in the greatest country in the world.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Why is the only thing that we have protecting our
- 21:18Speaker 1: children right now in our public school is a sign
- 21:20Speaker 1: that says gun free zone. And every single time a
- 21:23Speaker 1: madman with a gun decides to break that, they're able
- 21:26Speaker 1: to do it, and they do it quickly, and they
- 21:28Speaker 1: always win. You think that the president knits it's America.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The most powerful man in the world in theory would
- 21:36Speaker 1: say something about that a man who walks around with
- 21:40Speaker 1: bodyguards around him. By the way, the guns that he
- 21:43Speaker 1: wants to get rid of are the same exact guns
- 21:47Speaker 1: that are used to protect him. Do not forget that
- 21:51Speaker 1: the same guns are used to protect Nancy Pelosi are
- 21:53Speaker 1: the same guns that she's demanding be outlawed, banned. And
- 21:59Speaker 1: they have decided to reduce the Second Amendment to an
- 22:04Speaker 1: issue of hunting and Bambi. President Joe Biden saying virtually
- 22:10Speaker 1: the same thing is said to say the Union, but
- 22:11Speaker 1: this time really angry said this. He addressed the nation
- 22:14Speaker 1: on the school shooting. As a nation, we have to ask,
- 22:17Speaker 1: when in God's name are we're going to stand up
- 22:21Speaker 1: to the gun lobby. When in God's name we do it,
- 22:26Speaker 1: we all know in our gut needs to be done.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Through three hundred and forty three thousour hundred forty eight days,
- 22:36Speaker 1: ten years since I stood up at a high school
- 22:40Speaker 1: in Connecticut, grade school in Connecticut or another government massacred
- 22:45Speaker 1: twenty six people, including twenty first graders at Sandy Hill
- 22:49Speaker 1: Elementary School. Since then, they've been over nine hundred incidents,
- 22:55Speaker 1: gunfires reported on school grounds. Marjorie Omen Douglas High School
- 23:01Speaker 1: in Parkland, Florida, Santa Fe High School in Texas, Oxford
- 23:07Speaker 1: High School in Michigan. List goes on and on. Un
- 23:10Speaker 1: list grows want to include mass shootings and places like
- 23:14Speaker 1: movie theaters, houses of worship, as we saw just ten
- 23:18Speaker 1: days ago, to grocery store in Buffalo, New York. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: am sick and tired of it. We have to act.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I agree, we have to act. Calling for stricter gun
- 23:34Speaker 1: control laws after another attack at a school where there
- 23:37Speaker 1: was no one there to protect and defend the kids
- 23:39Speaker 1: is the part of this action that I don't understand.
- 23:43Speaker 1: If you want to fix this problem, and I don't
- 23:45Speaker 1: know if we'll ever be able to fix the problem,
- 23:47Speaker 1: but if you want to do a better job protecting kids,
- 23:49Speaker 1: then number one, we need to make sure that the
- 23:53Speaker 1: doors on these schools are locked. We need to make
- 23:57Speaker 1: sure that there's metal detectors, the same thing that we
- 23:59Speaker 1: go through to go to a sporting event. We need
- 24:03Speaker 1: to make sure that there are armed police officers assigned
- 24:08Speaker 1: to each and every school in the United States of America.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Can we afford it? Clearly? We can, because Look at
- 24:13Speaker 1: the money we're sending a Ukraine right now, Look at
- 24:16Speaker 1: the money we send to the U In Senator Murphy
- 24:21Speaker 1: demanding stricter gun control laws, right, he's sick of this.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Didn't even know what guns were used. Doesn't matter because
- 24:27Speaker 1: it's a narrative. This is what I gotta push. Never
- 24:32Speaker 1: let a crisis go to waste. It's the democratic motto.
- 24:37Speaker 1: This is their crisis. They were waiting for it. They
- 24:41Speaker 1: were waiting for the crisis to happen. They were prepared
- 24:47Speaker 1: and they couldn't wait to talk about it. They were
- 24:51Speaker 1: prepared and they were ready to say, this is how
- 24:54Speaker 1: you fix this problem. You want to talk about bipartisan support.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm in favor of a police officer at every school.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I'm in favor of that. I think it's important. I
- 25:10Speaker 1: think it's worth it to protect our children. But the
- 25:14Speaker 1: same party that's coming out right now demanding extreme gun
- 25:17Speaker 1: control measures and saying it's only about hunting, which it
- 25:20Speaker 1: never was about hunting. Our Second Amendment rights says nothing
- 25:22Speaker 1: about hunting in it. It's about protecting yourselves from enemies,
- 25:26Speaker 1: foreign and domestic. You want to have a conversation about
- 25:33Speaker 1: protecting kids, and let's have that conversation. I'm on the
- 25:36Speaker 1: same page protect the kids. But this Democratic Party is
- 25:39Speaker 1: the same party demanding you give up your guns while
- 25:41Speaker 1: also demanding that we give up our police. Why would
- 25:49Speaker 1: I trust people that don't want to even have police
- 25:52Speaker 1: officers to protect and defend me. Somebody answer that question
- 25:58Speaker 1: for me. And when you come out wanting to ban
- 26:02Speaker 1: all these firearms before you even know what guns are used,
- 26:06Speaker 1: it tells me that you're pushing a political agenda, not
- 26:08Speaker 1: actually trying to protect children. And don't ever reduce the
- 26:14Speaker 1: Second Amendment right to just hunting. It was never about hunting.
- 26:20Speaker 1: It was about enemies, foreign and domestic. I refuse to
- 26:27Speaker 1: accept that premise of that argument that they are doing
- 26:30Speaker 1: right now that this White House is doing. It's intellectually dishonest.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I would hope we'd be able to find bipartisan ground here.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I would hope that Democrats and Republicans could come together
- 26:49Speaker 1: and we could say we may not agree on gun control,
- 26:52Speaker 1: but by golly, we agree on protecting children. And one
- 26:55Speaker 1: of the ways that we agree on protecting children is
- 26:58Speaker 1: a pretty simple one, and that is that we need
- 27:04Speaker 1: to have a police officer in each and every school.
- 27:10Speaker 1: If we care about kids. We need a good guy
- 27:13Speaker 1: with a gun to take out the bad guys with
- 27:17Speaker 1: a gun, which is exactly what happened yesterday. Unfortunately it
- 27:20Speaker 1: took too long for them to get there. I want
- 27:24Speaker 1: to have a debate. I want to get something done
- 27:28Speaker 1: by the way Democrats keep yelling that I do too.
- 27:32Speaker 1: But I'm not going to let you use this shooting
- 27:35Speaker 1: to take away my rights and to do things it
- 27:39Speaker 1: would have no bearing on this shooting. Why is it
- 27:44Speaker 1: that we can't learn from our lessons at every single
- 27:49Speaker 1: time there's a mass shooting, it takes a good guy
- 27:52Speaker 1: with a gun showing up to stop them. And two
- 27:54Speaker 1: police officers yesterday were actually shot. Don't forget that law
- 27:57Speaker 1: enforcement officers were shot in the shooting in this school
- 28:02Speaker 1: shooting in Texas. Don't forget that all right. Lastly, please
