- 0:01Speaker 1: Joe Biden has officially dropped out of the presidential race. Welcome,
- 0:05Speaker 1: it is Verdict with Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with
- 0:08Speaker 1: you on this special podcast. Senator, you predicted this ten
- 0:14Speaker 1: months ago. It has now become a reality. Your initial reaction.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Well, today is an historic day. We are one hundred
- 0:21Speaker 2: and six days out from the presidential election and the
- 0:24Speaker 2: Democrat nominee for president, the sitting Democrat president, is out.
- 0:29Speaker 2: He will not be on the ballot, he will not
- 0:30Speaker 2: be the candidate. At this point, the Democrat Party is
- 0:34Speaker 2: in utter disarray. Chaos is erupting. We're going to break
- 0:38Speaker 2: down exactly what is likely to happen next. We're going
- 0:41Speaker 2: to walk all through the steps to expect in the
- 0:44Speaker 2: one hundred and sixty days between now an election day.
- 0:47Speaker 1: First, before we get into all that, I want to
- 0:48Speaker 1: tell you about my friends in blackout coffee. I can
- 0:50Speaker 1: promise you right now I don't need a cup of
- 0:52Speaker 1: coffee with this new news that Biden's out. But on
- 0:54Speaker 1: a normal day when I'm getting on the radio at
- 0:56Speaker 1: seven am, it is really important that I'm awake and
- 0:59Speaker 1: i I am ready to go. I don't want an
- 1:02Speaker 1: average cup of coffee. I want a phenomenal cup of coffee,
- 1:05Speaker 1: a premium cup of coffee, without the woke agenda of
- 1:08Speaker 1: so many of the coffee comanies out there. When I
- 1:11Speaker 1: said that, you probably thought about a couple of brands. Well.

- 1:29Speaker 1: gotten countless emails and messages on social media from people

- 1:59Speaker 1: All right, So let's start with what's happened over the
- 2:03Speaker 1: last week. Democrats witnessed an incredible GOP convention. You and
- 2:07Speaker 1: I were there. It's the most I think unity I've
- 2:10Speaker 1: ever seen the Republican Party at the convention, doubtedly, and
- 2:14Speaker 1: they were I think, really concerned after the convention of
- 2:17Speaker 1: a big bump. How do you reset a race you
- 2:20Speaker 1: get in your new candidate. And I think they clearly
- 2:23Speaker 1: saw that. We saw the big five Democratic families and
- 2:26Speaker 1: the media coalesced behind forcing him to get out. I
- 2:29Speaker 1: think some sort of deal had to happen to make
- 2:32Speaker 1: sure that Joe Biden and his family are going to
- 2:34Speaker 1: be taken care of. Kamala Harris was the obvious choice,
- 2:37Speaker 1: that's now who he's endorsed, and other Democrats seem to
- 2:40Speaker 1: be jumping on board.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Well, listen, I think this was inevitable, as I said,
- 2:45Speaker 2: as of the night of the debate, but I think
- 2:48Speaker 2: the momentum of it accelerated number one, with the assassination
- 2:52Speaker 2: attempt on President Trump. Number two with the very successful
- 2:57Speaker 2: presidential convention we just had in Milwaukee. I think Democrats
- 3:01Speaker 2: were in absolute panic. They were in panic. Earlier today,
- 3:05Speaker 2: poll numbers came out of Michigan that had Trump leading
- 3:07Speaker 2: Biden in Michigan by seven points. You want to talk
- 3:10Speaker 2: about something to put put Democrats in cold sweats. If
- 3:14Speaker 2: they're losing Michigan by seven points, go ahead and pull
- 3:17Speaker 2: the curtains down, roll up the rug. It's all over.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That's why they did this. That would have happened regardless,
- 3:24Speaker 2: even if the debate had been even if the convention
- 3:27Speaker 2: rather had been bumpy, even if Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania
- 3:31Speaker 2: had not happened. I believe we'd still have Biden out
- 3:34Speaker 2: of the race. But the Democrats, we saw each of
- 3:38Speaker 2: the major constituencies of the Democrat Party line up against
- 3:42Speaker 2: Joe Biden in force amount. He did not want to go.
- 3:44Speaker 2: He did not go willingly, but one after the other,
- 3:48Speaker 2: starting with Democrats in Congress, Nancy Pelosi came out against him,
- 3:53Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer came out against him, Hakeem Jeffries came out
- 3:56Speaker 2: against him. And it was all self interest. All the
- 3:58Speaker 2: Democrats in Congress were looking at their poles saying, holy cow,
- 4:01Speaker 2: we're about to lose, and they all lined up against him.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But you also saw you saw Barack Obama quietly coming
- 4:07Speaker 2: out against him. He put out a quick tweet in
- 4:09Speaker 2: support of him, but he also signed off on George
- 4:12Speaker 2: Clooney representing Hollywood abandoning him, saying Joe get out. We
- 4:17Speaker 2: saw the corporate media uniformly pushing him out, We saw
- 4:21Speaker 2: the donors pushing him out, and the pressure became too
- 4:24Speaker 2: much to bear. One senator after another senator after another
- 4:28Speaker 2: senator on the Democrat side, Biden didn't have a choice.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But I will say it was very savvy of them
- 4:34Speaker 2: to wait until after this convention. But let's let's just
- 4:38Speaker 2: first go with the news. So today, here's what Joe
- 4:41Speaker 2: Biden put out this afternoon. This is the letter he
- 4:44Speaker 2: put out. He tweeted it out. This This screenshot is
- 4:48Speaker 2: from twelve forty six pm. Interestingly enough, it had ninety
- 4:52Speaker 2: five point nine million views already. Yeah, I just checked
- 4:55Speaker 2: a minute ago, where about two hours later it was
- 4:57Speaker 2: up to one hundred and sixty one million views. This
- 5:01Speaker 2: is his resignation letter. And rather than you and me
- 5:05Speaker 2: read it, which which should be fine, but we'd have
- 5:07Speaker 2: to say words that are demonstrably untrue, things claiming that
- 5:11Speaker 2: Biden had actually done something well, that his record was
- 5:13Speaker 2: something other than the train rerecord is rather than you
- 5:16Speaker 2: or me read it, I think we're better off engaging
- 5:20Speaker 2: in a bit of schadenfreud. And so watching Jensaki on MSNBC.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Re Ormer White House Press secretary, Joe Biden's press secretary,
- 5:28Speaker 1: having to carry the water, and.
- 5:30Speaker 2: I gotta say, look, since I said that there are
- 5:32Speaker 2: a number of lies about his record, Jensaki is actually
- 5:34Speaker 2: quite accomplished at reading lies. But for those of you
- 5:38Speaker 2: watching this as a video pod, so this is one.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We do this podcast three days a week. All three
- 5:43Speaker 2: of them are on audio, typically one a week is
- 5:45Speaker 2: on video. This is one of the video and audiopods.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And I will say, if you're listening on audio, I'd
- 5:50Speaker 2: encourage you go to YouTube and watch it on video
- 5:53Speaker 2: because to watch Jensaki's face, you cannot fully appreciate the
- 5:59Speaker 2: agony without watching it. As she's reading these words, and
- 6:02Speaker 2: as we're watching the Democrat Party light itself on fire. Here,
- 6:08Speaker 2: give a listen, give a watch.
- 6:12Speaker 3: We have breaking news here. President Biden has announced he
- 6:15Speaker 3: will stand down from the race. We're going to read
- 6:17Speaker 3: the statement here.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Her expression, which is actually frozen on the screen right now,
- 6:23Speaker 2: she's about to cry.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean she's like, what has just happened to
- 6:26Speaker 1: my world? No?
- 6:26Speaker 2: No, no, it is that's all right, Go ahead, and
- 6:31Speaker 2: keep playing.
- 6:32Speaker 3: We also have Tim Miller, who's going to be joining
- 6:34Speaker 3: us shortly. Over the past, my fellow Americans, over the
- 6:38Speaker 3: past three and a half years, we have made great
- 6:40Speaker 3: progress as a nation. To today, America has the strongest
- 6:44Speaker 3: economy in the world. We've made historic investments in rebuilding
- 6:48Speaker 3: our nation, in lowering prescription drug costs for seniors, and
- 6:53Speaker 3: in expanding affordable healthcare to a record number of Americans.
- 6:57Speaker 3: We've provided critically needed care to a million veterans exposed
- 7:02Speaker 3: to toxic substances. Past the first thank you so much.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I'm just going to read off the paper here. Past
- 7:07Speaker 3: the first safety law in thirty years, appointed the first
- 7:10Speaker 3: African American woman to the Supreme Court, and passed the
- 7:13Speaker 3: most significant climate legislation in the history of the world.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I mean, really, that's I mean, she just goes straight
- 7:21Speaker 1: into it and is like totally lost, like what just
- 7:24Speaker 1: happened to us?
- 7:25Speaker 2: Well, Joe Biden has suspended as you and I predicted
- 7:30Speaker 2: ten months ago, as you and I predicted a month
- 7:33Speaker 2: ago on the debate, and he will not be on
- 7:36Speaker 2: the ballot. That has never happened before.
- 7:39Speaker 1: You know.
- 7:39Speaker 2: The closest analog is the nineteen sixty eight Democrat Convention,
- 7:43Speaker 2: which was in.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Chicago as well.
- 7:45Speaker 2: That is the last time you had an incumbent Democrat president,
- 7:49Speaker 2: and that case Lyndon B.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Johnson.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, not run for reelection. Now, Lyndon B. Johnson, Why
- 7:54Speaker 2: did he not run for reelection? A big part of
- 7:56Speaker 2: it is he'd lost the support of the American people.
- 7:58Speaker 2: He'd lost the sport of a Republic of independence and
- 8:01Speaker 2: Democrats and when you lose all of them, there ain't
- 8:03Speaker 2: nobody left. It was the middle of the Vietnam War.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Unlike Joe Biden, it was not that he was too old.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It was just that he was physically worn down and tired,
- 8:11Speaker 2: and he'd lost the American people, and so LBJ didn't
- 8:14Speaker 2: run and had You want to talk about an incredibly
- 8:17Speaker 2: contentious election. In that election, there was a guy named
- 8:20Speaker 2: Robert F. Kennedy who was running. That tragically is the
- 8:23Speaker 2: election cycle where Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in the course
- 8:27Speaker 2: of the cycle. But he was for a period the
- 8:30Speaker 2: rising star. You ended up having lbj's vice president, Hubert Humphrey,
- 8:36Speaker 2: got the nomination, but it was an incredibly close and
- 8:40Speaker 2: contested race because you had a challenge from the left
- 8:46Speaker 2: and a challenge from the left over Vietnam a chaotic convention,
- 8:53Speaker 2: and outside you had rabid protesters engaged in violence and rioting.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think we may literally be seeing history repeating itself.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Let's talk about and there's two aspects of what I'm
- 9:05Speaker 1: about to ask you. Number One, we see early on,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I think the front runner is Kamala Harris. We see
- 9:12Speaker 1: people coalescing behind her. But the real question is how
- 9:16Speaker 1: did she get that support so quickly from this president?
- 9:20Speaker 1: What is the deal that's being done behind the scenes?
- 9:23Speaker 1: Was this White House staffers making sure, Hey, I want
- 9:26Speaker 1: to stay in and keep my power, I have a
- 9:28Speaker 1: better chance of keeping it with KMA than going with
- 9:30Speaker 1: somebody else. All these people and jobs in around Biden
- 9:33Speaker 1: hare so like, Hey, I can keep my power if
- 9:37Speaker 1: she's the person or was it hey He's saying, okay,
- 9:40Speaker 1: I trust you COMA to take care of me, protect
- 9:43Speaker 1: my son, possibly give out clemensy or pardons that may
- 9:46Speaker 1: be needed down the road. How did the sausage get
- 9:48Speaker 1: made on this deal?
- 9:49Speaker 2: All right, Well, let's go back to Biden's resignation letter.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Put that back up there. If you look at the
- 9:55Speaker 2: resignation letter, that when he put it out earlier today,
- 10:00Speaker 2: he says, and I'm going to finish reading from where
- 10:03Speaker 2: we cut off on Jensaki. It's been the greatest honor
- 10:06Speaker 2: of my life to serve as your president. And while
- 10:07Speaker 2: it has been my intention to seek reelection, the damned
- 10:10Speaker 2: Democrats dromat of office. No, you didn't say that, he says.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I believe it isn't the best interest of my party,
- 10:17Speaker 2: notice his party first, yep, and the country for me
- 10:21Speaker 2: to stand down and focus solely on fulfilling my duties
- 10:24Speaker 2: as president for the remainder of my term. I will
- 10:26Speaker 2: speak to the nation later this week in more detail
- 10:29Speaker 2: about my decision. For now, let me express my deepest
- 10:33Speaker 2: gratitude to all those who work so hard to see
- 10:35Speaker 2: me reelect it. I want to thank Vice President Kamala
- 10:40Speaker 2: Harris for being an extraordinary partner in all this work.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American
- 10:47Speaker 2: people for the faith and trust you have placed in me.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Now.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Interestingly enough, in this resignation letter, you notice what he
- 10:54Speaker 2: doesn't do.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I fully endorse.
- 10:56Speaker 2: He doesn't mention endorsement at all, he says. I want
- 10:58Speaker 2: to thank Kamala Harris, and he's silent. Now he puts
- 11:03Speaker 2: that out, and I'm assuming when he puts that out,
- 11:05Speaker 2: the powers that be in the White House and in
- 11:07Speaker 2: the Democratic Party freaked the hell out. Yeah, lost their minds,
- 11:11Speaker 2: lost their minds. And so shortly thereafter, look at the
- 11:14Speaker 2: tweet he put out as a follow up, like it
- 11:17Speaker 2: says something your resignation letter. It's kind of odd to
- 11:19Speaker 2: need a follow up.
- 11:21Speaker 1: And then a quick follow up at that very quick.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Follow up, but there was enough time. That other one
- 11:26Speaker 2: was twelve forty six. This is one thirteen, so you know,
- 11:29Speaker 2: time passed. And then he sends out another tweet. My
- 11:31Speaker 2: fellow Democrats, I've decided not to accept the nomination to
- 11:34Speaker 2: focus all my energies on my duties as president for
- 11:36Speaker 2: the remainder of my term. Notice that was in his letter.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yep.
- 11:40Speaker 2: My very first decision as the party nominee in twenty
- 11:42Speaker 2: twenty was to pick Kamala Harris as my vice president.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And it's the best decision I've made today. I want
- 11:48Speaker 2: to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to
- 11:51Speaker 2: be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats, it's
- 11:53Speaker 2: time to come together and beat Trump.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Let's do this. So delayed reaction.
- 11:59Speaker 2: So at this point, Kamala is clearly the front runner.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Joe Biden is explicitly supporting her. In the time that followed,
- 12:09Speaker 2: Bill Clinton came out in support of her, Hillary Clinton
- 12:13Speaker 2: came out in support of her. Alex Soros has come
- 12:16Speaker 2: out in support of her.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Alex, by the way, maybe one of the most important
- 12:19Speaker 1: actual endorsements, because it's follow the money well.
- 12:22Speaker 2: And look, George Soros has been the most important donor
- 12:27Speaker 2: behind not just the Democrat Party, but the radical leftist,
- 12:31Speaker 2: the cultural Marxist, the anti Semitic protesters on campus. Soros
- 12:36Speaker 2: has been funding all of that. According to multiple reports,
- 12:40Speaker 2: George Soros's mental condition and mental deterioration is at least
- 12:44Speaker 2: where Biden's is, if not substantially worse. And it's the
- 12:49Speaker 2: son Alex Soros is the one that's now making the decision.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So understand when Alex Soros tweets out that he's behind
- 12:55Speaker 2: Kamala Harris, what he's saying is the money is behind
- 12:59Speaker 2: Kamala Harris. You're going to see a lot of that.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Now.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Interestingly enough, there's some other Democrats who are not quick
- 13:07Speaker 2: to get on board. So, for example, take a look
- 13:09Speaker 2: at what Gavin Newsom tweeted, President Biden has been an
- 13:12Speaker 2: extraordinary history making president, a leader who has fought hard
- 13:15Speaker 2: for working people and delivered astonishing results for all Americans.
- 13:19Speaker 2: He will go down in history as one of the
- 13:20Speaker 2: most impactful and selfless presidents. Thank you, Joe Biden.
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah, there's not much of an endorsement.
- 13:26Speaker 2: There is though, whose name's not there? Yeah, Kamala And
- 13:30Speaker 2: interesting enough. Now, look, Gavin is not lacking an ambition.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That's the very PC way of putting it. I like
- 13:39Speaker 1: that it He's like, let's go to the convention, let's
- 13:43Speaker 1: have this thing out.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It'll be interesting. And by the way, earlier today there
- 13:46Speaker 2: were was all sorts of chatter that Hillary Clinton was
- 13:50Speaker 2: going to make a play for this. It is interesting
- 13:53Speaker 2: that she and Bill came out very quickly and said
- 13:55Speaker 2: let's get behind Kamala. Your going to see lots of chatter.
- 14:01Speaker 2: There are Democrats talking about wanting to have a open convention,
- 14:07Speaker 2: a sort of mini primary battle, have the delegates decide
- 14:11Speaker 2: under DNC rules. Initially, the delegates will vote. It's being
- 14:15Speaker 2: speculated that Biden will release his delegates and say vote
- 14:19Speaker 2: for whom you want, and there may be a process.
- 14:21Speaker 2: They may do a process where Kamala RAN's and a
- 14:26Speaker 2: handful of other people ron and they have a first
- 14:28Speaker 2: ballot under the DNC rules, the so called super delegates.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Those include things like governors, things like senators. They don't
- 14:36Speaker 2: vote until the second ballot, So the first ballot is
- 14:38Speaker 2: the actual elected delegates. And if they were elected to
- 14:41Speaker 2: support Joe Biden, if they've been released, igar whatever they want.
- 14:44Speaker 2: They can do whatever they want. I think at the
- 14:49Speaker 2: end of the day, there's gonna be a little bit
- 14:50Speaker 2: of noise, there's gonna be a little bit of squawking.
- 14:53Speaker 2: But I stand by my prediction from day one that
- 14:56Speaker 2: there is one person, in one person only for whom
- 14:59Speaker 2: the Democrats will be willing to push Kamala Harris aside,
- 15:02Speaker 2: and that is Michelle Obama. It doesn't appear right now
- 15:05Speaker 2: that Michelle is willing to get in now that could
- 15:07Speaker 2: be on August surprise. We've got nearly a month until
- 15:12Speaker 2: the Democrat Convention.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Can we just talk horse trading so people understand what
- 15:16Speaker 1: this is gonna look like for the next thirty days.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Behind the scenes, delegates now have the power to pick
- 15:22Speaker 1: who the president could be.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yep, and by the way. Why is that because the
- 15:27Speaker 2: Democrat Party. Look, they knew that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent.
- 15:31Speaker 2: They knew a year ago. They ran him anyway. They
- 15:33Speaker 2: had the voters, all the Democrat voters come vote for him,
- 15:35Speaker 2: even though they knew he was mentally incompetent, that he
- 15:37Speaker 2: couldn't do the job now. He couldn't do the job then,
- 15:39Speaker 2: but they wanted power. The only thing that changed is
- 15:42Speaker 2: with the debate. It became untenable. The American people realized
- 15:47Speaker 2: this guy is not capable of doing the job anymore.
- 15:50Speaker 2: It was only because they feared they were going to
- 15:52Speaker 2: lose that the Democrats have abandoned him. But the consequence
- 15:55Speaker 2: of that is the Democrats were perfectly fine with Democrat
- 15:59Speaker 2: primary voters being completely disenfranchised. You will not get to
- 16:02Speaker 2: select the Democrat nominee.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yeah, this person will be elected by no one in
- 16:06Speaker 1: the public. It will all be done with horse trading.
- 16:09Speaker 1: It can happen on.
- 16:10Speaker 2: A handful of elite's, a handful of special interest, which
- 16:13Speaker 2: actually is pretty typical of who the Democrat Party is
- 16:17Speaker 2: actually true, the irony is that they engage in Freudian
- 16:20Speaker 2: projection at an historic level where everything they accuse their
- 16:24Speaker 2: opponents of is what they're doing. But Democrat primary voters
- 16:28Speaker 2: will have no say in who the nominee is. It
- 16:31Speaker 2: will be powerbrokers in Chicago.
- 16:33Speaker 1: So let's just paint behind the scenes so people understand
- 16:37Speaker 1: the corruption that can come out of this. If you
- 16:40Speaker 1: need delegates to get the nomination and you coalesce in
- 16:44Speaker 1: smaller groups and then you go forward and say, hey,
- 16:47Speaker 1: I'm so and so I'm representing thirty five people in
- 16:51Speaker 1: this state California. You can't win without us. I would
- 16:54Speaker 1: like this, and this person would like this, and this
- 16:57Speaker 1: person will like this, and this person would like this,
- 17:00Speaker 1: and their kids would like these jobs in the White House.
- 17:02Speaker 1: If you give us this, you get all of our votes.
- 17:05Speaker 1: That is exactly what we've seen happen at state level.
- 17:08Speaker 1: We've seen corruption happen in a way when they're replacing
- 17:11Speaker 1: a seat.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Hey, Rody Gooievich went to jail for basically selling a
- 17:14Speaker 2: Senate seat. This is going to happen now one hundred
- 17:17Speaker 2: thousand times over. And by the way, put on top
- 17:19Speaker 2: of that, the big labor unions and the big money
- 17:23Speaker 2: players and the Democrats party so corrupt, and the Sierra
- 17:27Speaker 2: Club and the pro abortion groups and all of the difference.
- 17:30Speaker 2: The Democrat Party today is a coalition of rent seekers,
- 17:34Speaker 2: of people who make their money suckling off the teet
- 17:39Speaker 2: of government. That's who they are, and it is all
- 17:42Speaker 2: about power and influence. Many of them. The reason they
- 17:45Speaker 2: were willing to back someone who was obviously not mentally
- 17:48Speaker 2: competent to be president is because they all stayed in power.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Now suddenly Joe Biden is going to be gone, and
- 17:54Speaker 2: so they're all desperately scrambling how do I keep my power?
- 17:57Speaker 2: And we're going to see that play out. What I
- 18:00Speaker 2: think will happen at the end of the day, I think,
- 18:03Speaker 2: number one, the Democrats are too much of racial and
- 18:06Speaker 2: gender being counters to push an African American woman aside
- 18:09Speaker 2: for a white guy. So anyone looking at Gavin Newsom
- 18:12Speaker 2: or anyone else, I just don't think that's gonna happen.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree.
- 18:14Speaker 2: That's why I think Michelle Obama is the only person
- 18:17Speaker 2: who could push her aside, And at least right now,
- 18:20Speaker 2: it does not see Michelle is trying to do that.
- 18:23Speaker 2: If it's not Michelle, I think we will see Kamala Harrison.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I think the real battle is going to be who
- 18:28Speaker 2: the VP is.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I want to ask you about the VP. But before
- 18:31Speaker 1: we get to that, is it fair to say that
- 18:33Speaker 1: this might be the most corrupt picking of a presidential
- 18:38Speaker 1: candidate in modern political history because of the time that
- 18:42Speaker 1: people have to build their power and to basically an essence,
- 18:46Speaker 1: sell their vote.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And it's perhaps now not to be fair. It hasn't
- 18:49Speaker 2: happened yet, but it's all going to be behind closed doors.
- 18:52Speaker 2: It's not going to be the voters. It's not going
- 18:54Speaker 2: to be in public. It's one thing if you campaign,
- 18:58Speaker 2: Look at some level, you could say all campaigns are
- 19:00Speaker 2: in a way about buying votes. If you campaign and
- 19:02Speaker 2: say I'm for Medicare for all, for socialized medicare, you're
- 19:05Speaker 2: you're saying the Democrats are big on being the Santa
- 19:07Speaker 2: Claus Party. We'll give you free stuff if you vote
- 19:09Speaker 2: for us.
- 19:11Speaker 1: That's one thing.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Different level, it's a totally different if you make a
- 19:15Speaker 2: public promise in the press that I will support a
- 19:19Speaker 2: law that that has broad effect. You know, Joe Biden,
- 19:22Speaker 2: I'm gonna give away a trillion dollars to people who
- 19:24Speaker 2: have student loans.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, vote for me. I'm buying your vote.
- 19:27Speaker 2: That is very different from you know, Ben, you control
- 19:31Speaker 2: a pocket of votes. You ever thought of being Secretary
- 19:34Speaker 2: of the Navy?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:35Speaker 2: You like votes?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah? Or I hear there's a great house in this country.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And the ambassadorship there's really fun.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I mean, it's we're going to see that happening every
- 19:45Speaker 2: day now, mind you, you're gonna get competing people making
- 19:48Speaker 2: those promises. And in terms of the vice president, that's
- 19:54Speaker 2: going to be part of the negotiation is who Kamala
- 19:56Speaker 2: team's up with to try to lock down lock down
- 20:01Speaker 2: the power brokers in the Democrat Party. And one question
- 20:05Speaker 2: is does she try to quickly buy off whoever she
- 20:08Speaker 2: thinks her most formidable adversary is Possibly? Does she try
- 20:12Speaker 2: to get all of the potential adversaries to compete wooing
- 20:17Speaker 2: for her affection more likely, But it's going to take
- 20:21Speaker 2: an entire month playing out for us to see well.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And can you promise someone the vice presidency so they
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't challenge you? That's the question I want to ask
- 20:29Speaker 1: you next. But first I want to tell you about
- 20:31Speaker 1: my friends over at chalk. If Joe Biden would have
- 20:33Speaker 1: just taken some chalk, he might still be in this race.

- 21:54Speaker 1: talk about VP. Forget what we just went through. Holy crap.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Somebody who was never on a ballot yep, that no
- 22:02Speaker 1: one's ever voted for for vice president is all of
- 22:05Speaker 1: a sudden going to become the vice president the United
- 22:07Speaker 1: States of America, possibly certainly will be the nominee for
- 22:10Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. How do they pick? I don't think
- 22:14Speaker 1: a lot of people understand this. It's confusing enough picking
- 22:18Speaker 1: the now Kamala Harris or whoever it's going to be.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But let's say it is Kamla. It's a little bit
- 22:22Speaker 1: more orderly. How the hell are we going to get
- 22:25Speaker 1: the vice president? You'll pick for the Democratic Party? How
- 22:27Speaker 1: does that work?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Look, they're going to decide who brings the most to
- 22:32Speaker 2: the ticket. Often you look at geographic concerns. Will someone
- 22:35Speaker 2: put a state into play? Will someone be beneficial? Sometimes
- 22:39Speaker 2: you look to things like, as someone a great fundraiser,
- 22:41Speaker 2: will they bring a bunch of donors? Will they bring
- 22:43Speaker 2: other interest groups on board? Sometimes you look to neutralize
- 22:46Speaker 2: someone who's a potential opponent. In this instance, I think
- 22:50Speaker 2: the Democrats are one hundred percent about race and gender.
- 22:53Speaker 2: It's how they think. It's how they're wired. They don't
- 22:56Speaker 2: look at individuals. It's DEI, so it is DII. I
- 22:59Speaker 2: think think the VP nominee will be a boring white guy.
- 23:02Speaker 2: That's my prediction.
- 23:03Speaker 1: And they're there.
- 23:04Speaker 2: They actually have a number of boring white guys. So
- 23:06Speaker 2: so so they have a broad.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So who picks it? Is it the person who gets
- 23:11Speaker 1: the nomination, So there's no voting by the delegates. To me,
- 23:15Speaker 1: you don't understand the process. It will be.
- 23:20Speaker 2: My guess is Kamala will announce who her VP is
- 23:23Speaker 2: going to be before they vote. It could conceivably be afterwards.
- 23:26Speaker 2: It depends. If there's a real contested.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Battle at the convention, Uh.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Then then maybe she doesn't announce it until after she's
- 23:34Speaker 2: the nominee. Typically, the way it happens is the nominee
- 23:38Speaker 2: is sewn up before the convention. It's been a long
- 23:40Speaker 2: time since we've had a contested convention, and we've there's
- 23:44Speaker 2: been uncertainty as to who the nominee is going to be.
- 23:48Speaker 1: If the if the if the vote is really contentious
- 23:51Speaker 1: and it's a drag out knockdown at the convention. You're
- 23:53Speaker 1: saying there's a legit possibility that whoever comes away with
- 23:56Speaker 1: it will will barely survive that they get the nomination.
- 24:00Speaker 1: They say, Hey, in a week or two, I'll tell
- 24:01Speaker 1: you who my VP is going to be.
- 24:02Speaker 2: No, no, no, I think it would be at the convention.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I think it would be immediately thereafter. And if there
- 24:06Speaker 2: is a real fight, I mean, one thing that has happened,
- 24:09Speaker 2: you know, you could go to whoever's number two and say, look,
- 24:12Speaker 2: I'll make you a VP if you drop out and
- 24:13Speaker 2: endorse me, and that could be how you lock up
- 24:15Speaker 2: the votes. I don't think it'll come to that. I
- 24:17Speaker 2: actually think people will coalesce around Kammalin more quickly than that.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Who's the front runner then right now in your mind?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I mean, obviously this could change in a couple weeks.
- 24:25Speaker 2: But if I'm gonna give you, I'm gonna give you
- 24:28Speaker 2: two names and why Josh Shapiro.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Okay, and tell people that don't know Josh who he is.
- 24:33Speaker 2: He is the governor of Pennsylvania. He is widely perceived
- 24:37Speaker 2: as a moderate. He is Jewish. He was attorney general
- 24:42Speaker 2: in Pennsylvania. I think what is compelling is number one.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Shapiro has strong polling numbers in Pennsylvania. If the Democrats
- 24:52Speaker 2: can win Pennsylvania, the path to Trump winning becomes much
- 24:57Speaker 2: much harder. He's also pursued as a moderate, and I
- 25:01Speaker 2: think actually naming a Jewish Democrat would help tamp down
- 25:06Speaker 2: some of.
- 25:06Speaker 1: The anti Semitic that they've been dealing with the last
- 25:09Speaker 1: several months.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yes, and so I think all of that, if you're
- 25:13Speaker 2: sitting there around Kamala, that's attractive. A second choice that
- 25:16Speaker 2: I think is also very attractive as a VP is
- 25:19Speaker 2: Mark Kelly. Mark Kelly is Senator from Arizona. Yeah, Mark
- 25:23Speaker 2: Kelly is a Navy veteran. Mark Kelly is a former astronaut.
- 25:27Speaker 2: He's been to space.
- 25:29Speaker 1: He's also got a fame factor to him. Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 2: And Mark Kelly is also affable, and he seems reasonable.
- 25:35Speaker 2: He doesn't seem crazy when you talk with him. I
- 25:39Speaker 2: like Mark Kelly personally. He's someone he's like a Joe Manchin.
- 25:43Speaker 2: It won't be Joe Manchen, but he's someone who his affect,
- 25:46Speaker 2: his demeanor is very affable and if you met him
- 25:49Speaker 2: on the street, you wouldn't think the guy was a Democrat.
- 25:52Speaker 2: You wouldn't think that he voted with a looney left
- 25:54Speaker 2: on almost everything because he seems like a normal guy.
- 25:58Speaker 2: I think that would be very attractive. And Arizona, it
- 26:01Speaker 2: is not as vital as swing state as Pennsylvania doesn't
- 26:05Speaker 2: have nearly as many electoral votes, but Arizona is certainly
- 26:09Speaker 2: a battleground state, and Mark Kelly on the ballot could help.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I would put those two as the top two.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I got to ask, and where's Gavin Newsom? Is he
- 26:17Speaker 1: number three? If you're going for a white guy, the
- 26:21Speaker 1: argument they would say is someone says he brings California,
- 26:23Speaker 1: but the reality is California got California anyway exactly.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So if they go Gavin Newsom, it's a combination of
- 26:29Speaker 2: two things. Want one money, okay, and Newsom's got a
- 26:32Speaker 2: bunch of donors who love him who'll write checks. And
- 26:35Speaker 2: California is the ATM of the Democrat Party. And so
- 26:39Speaker 2: now Kamala is a Californian, so she's got a lot
- 26:43Speaker 2: of that money behind her also.
- 26:44Speaker 1: But it neutralizes him too, right, wouldn't that be the
- 26:47Speaker 1: perk because then you'd have to worry about him in four.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Years potentially, Although she doesn't worry about him in four
- 26:52Speaker 2: years if she's the incumbent president, he's not going to
- 26:55Speaker 2: primary her. If she gets this and gets elected, Newsom
- 26:59Speaker 2: doesn't get to run.
- 27:00Speaker 1: For eight years.
- 27:00Speaker 2: That that's just it, just that's how it's going to
- 27:03Speaker 2: knocks that down down the road. Look, Newsome, I think
- 27:07Speaker 2: is perceived as too liberal. My guess is they're not
- 27:11Speaker 2: going to be that worried about money. And the other
- 27:13Speaker 2: reason you would go with Newsom is he's talented.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I mean he is.
- 27:16Speaker 2: He is a snake oil salesman par excellence. He's a communicator,
- 27:20Speaker 2: he's slick.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He can be a great campaigner because peop would show
- 27:23Speaker 1: up to see him. In the Democratic Party, that's important too, right,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I mean, you you have an event and your VP
- 27:28Speaker 1: is popular, that's good for your campaign.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Look, and in many ways he would overshadow Comel. It
- 27:36Speaker 2: reminds me back in the nineteen eighty eight election. I
- 27:39Speaker 2: remember Saturday Night Live was making fun as we're getting
- 27:43Speaker 2: really close to the election, and you had George Bush
- 27:46Speaker 2: and dan Quayle and look, people had ridiculed dan Quail enormously.
- 27:49Speaker 2: And so what what SNL did is the ballots is
- 27:52Speaker 2: the party of parties have requested they be printed. And
- 27:55Speaker 2: the Republican side had Bush and giant letters and Quail
- 27:58Speaker 2: and tiny the letters. And then on the Democrat side
- 28:01Speaker 2: you had Michael Dacaccas who rode in a tank with
- 28:03Speaker 2: a helmet and looked ridiculous. And then Lloyd Benson, it
- 28:06Speaker 2: was the Texas senator who was moderate well received, was
- 28:09Speaker 2: going over well. SNL did the Battle of Docacas, tiny
- 28:13Speaker 2: little letter and Benson.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that could happen.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Kamala could be worried about is the risk that Gavin
- 28:22Speaker 2: would would overshadow her. And that's why I think Shapiro
- 28:25Speaker 2: or Kelly are more likely. I'd be surprised. I don't
- 28:29Speaker 2: think she thinks she needs the money, and I think
- 28:32Speaker 2: the downside she would perceive is greater.
- 28:34Speaker 1: All right, let's talk about the media, because what we're
- 28:37Speaker 1: going to see right now, and this is my biggest concern.
- 28:40Speaker 1: You and I talked about this in Milwaukee. If Biden
- 28:43Speaker 1: dropped out. Now it's Biden has dropped out. It's a
- 28:46Speaker 1: complete reset, yes, of this presidential campaign, the polls, and
- 28:51Speaker 1: I want to be very clear to our audience. This
- 28:53Speaker 1: is my opinion. I don't know if you agree with
- 28:55Speaker 1: me or not. I want to know your take on
- 28:56Speaker 1: it are completely meaningless and worthless right now, correct. The
- 29:00Speaker 1: only poll that's going to matter is the first poll
- 29:02Speaker 1: after we find out who the Democrats actually pounding.
- 29:07Speaker 2: That poll's not going to matter. And and listen, this
- 29:10Speaker 2: is something you and I talked about in our last podcast.
- 29:12Speaker 2: We did two podcasts live from the convention. I love
- 29:17Speaker 2: the convention. It was a blast. It's the best Republican convention.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I've ever seen, more unity than I've ever seen. However,
- 29:24Speaker 2: I was very worried at the convention, and I expressed
- 29:26Speaker 2: this to you at the time, which is I am
- 29:30Speaker 2: afraid people were over confident at the convention that there
- 29:34Speaker 2: was an air of celebration. It was we've won, We're
- 29:37Speaker 2: on to victory. This is a landslide. Trump's coming back in.
- 29:41Speaker 2: We've got a huge Republican majority. He heard people talking
- 29:44Speaker 2: about it. Fifty five to fifty six Republican senators, huge
- 29:47Speaker 2: Republican house. Like people were planning. People were talking about,
- 29:51Speaker 2: all right, who's gonna be Secretary of State, who's gonna
- 29:52Speaker 2: be Secretary of Defense? Like they're handing.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Already moved on. Yeah, we wanted now what's next? And
- 29:58Speaker 1: that's not the case.
- 29:59Speaker 2: And my view I'm trying to say this is, Look,
- 30:01Speaker 2: there's a time for celebration, celebrate after election day, celebrate
- 30:06Speaker 2: after we've won. Now is not the time for celebration.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Now's the time for hard work. Now's the time for
- 30:10Speaker 2: rolling up your sleeves and going to win. And my
- 30:14Speaker 2: assumption is coming out of the convention, Republicans will get
- 30:17Speaker 2: a little bounce. You know, historically it's about four points
- 30:19Speaker 2: is what you get out of your convention. I think
- 30:21Speaker 2: it was a strong convention. So let's assume that happens
- 30:25Speaker 2: the Democrats, and I will give them credit for one thing.
- 30:27Speaker 2: They're timing of releasing it right after the convention. Perfect
- 30:31Speaker 2: timing to do this, because it resets the whole race.
- 30:36Speaker 2: It almost doesn't matter what the bounce was out of
- 30:38Speaker 2: the convention. And here's the problem. For the next month,
- 30:43Speaker 2: all of the news is going to be dominated by
- 30:47Speaker 2: who the Democrat is going to be. The Democrats are
- 30:49Speaker 2: about to have a month long convention instead of a week.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Why do you get a bounce out of a convention.
- 30:53Speaker 2: You get a bounce out of convention because you have
- 30:55Speaker 2: four days of driving the news. The earn media every
- 30:58Speaker 2: night of your people on TV, pitching all of the
- 31:01Speaker 2: benefits of your nominee, all the benefits of your record,
- 31:04Speaker 2: all the benefits of your agenda. Instead of a four
- 31:07Speaker 2: day convention, the Democrats are about to have a month
- 31:09Speaker 2: long convention where every news story will be focused on
- 31:12Speaker 2: who the nominee is gonna be. And they're also going
- 31:15Speaker 2: to be doing a combination of number one, praising Biden.
- 31:19Speaker 2: You know, it's not graceful to he's on his way out.
- 31:23Speaker 2: People don't want to criticize him anymore.
- 31:25Speaker 1: We're going they did this for America.
- 31:26Speaker 2: He's historic, He's one of the greatest presidents of the
- 31:28Speaker 2: history of the universe. I mean, you're gonna hear all
- 31:30Speaker 2: of that effusively, and then they're going to talk about
- 31:34Speaker 2: what an historic president Kamala Harris would be and it's
- 31:38Speaker 2: going to be a month long We're going to see.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Multi I would argue multi billion dollar in kind contribution.
- 31:45Speaker 2: And by the way, Republicans, I worry vastly underestimate Kamala
- 31:51Speaker 2: Harris that they don't think very highly of her. They
- 31:53Speaker 2: don't think she's terribly bright. When you or I bring
- 31:57Speaker 2: up Kamala Harris's name in Republican circles people. It's immediately
- 32:00Speaker 2: a punch line. I think people are underestimating what billions
- 32:05Speaker 2: of dollars of free media, of the entire corrupt corporate
- 32:09Speaker 2: media complex. Pitching her as a combination of Mother Teresa,
- 32:15Speaker 2: Oprah and Gandhi.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I mean, and save the party.
- 32:19Speaker 2: It's going to be and young and vibrant, and it's historic.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I mean it is going to be now. I still
- 32:26Speaker 2: think Trump wins in November. But this is not a layup.
- 32:31Speaker 2: It is not given in what's coming in front of us. Look,
- 32:34Speaker 2: if you're a Democrat, what makes you nervous is chaos,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and this much chaos one hundred days out is scary.
- 32:40Speaker 2: But you know what even more scary is going to
- 32:44Speaker 2: an election where you're almost certain to lose, which is
- 32:46Speaker 2: where Biden was. So from their perspective, chaos and a
- 32:49Speaker 2: chance to win or certain loss, they'll take chaos. But
- 32:53Speaker 2: Republicans need to understand just how dangerous this is.
- 32:56Speaker 1: It's all perspective in life. And I said this earlier.
- 32:59Speaker 1: It's like you're on the greatest cruise ship in the world,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and that cruise ship's going down, and a crappy little
- 33:03Speaker 1: fishing boat shows up and it saves your life. You
- 33:06Speaker 1: love that crappy fishing boat the rest of your life.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It doesn't matter how bad it looks, how ugly it was.
- 33:11Speaker 1: You just got your life saved. And that's Kamala Harris
- 33:14Speaker 1: like not a good.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Game that you do not have a career as a
- 33:18Speaker 2: Democrat politics ad maker. I can see the ad now,
- 33:21Speaker 2: Kamala Harris the boat to save your life.
- 33:24Speaker 1: To save your life. But it's perspective. I mean, that's
- 33:27Speaker 1: what they're dealing with. I know, right, But she didn't
- 33:30Speaker 1: even make it. I mean, I go back to when
- 33:31Speaker 1: she was running. She got zero delegates, correct, and she
- 33:34Speaker 1: was a terrible kennt. But when you're now in the
- 33:37Speaker 1: position of that boat sinking and I'm the only one
- 33:40Speaker 1: that's got doesn't have a hole in the boat, I'm
- 33:43Speaker 1: pretty I'm pretty appealing to everybody on that boat, and
- 33:46Speaker 1: I love you, and I'm willing to swim to you,
- 33:48Speaker 1: and I'm willing to hug you and kiss you and
- 33:50Speaker 1: say thank you for saving my life. It's all perspective.
- 33:53Speaker 1: And that's what the media is going to do to her,
- 33:55Speaker 1: is say she just saved us from guaranteed to fate defeat.
- 33:59Speaker 1: She is a savior to the Democratic Party. We love
- 34:02Speaker 1: her and they're all going to be energized. That terrifies me.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, energized. And once she's the nominee, unified. You know,
- 34:11Speaker 2: one thing to keep in mind. People are focused on, oh, money,
- 34:14Speaker 2: and Trump has a money advantage. Put yourself in the
- 34:17Speaker 2: mindset of a Democrat gazillionaire, of a Democrat activist, of
- 34:22Speaker 2: a Democrat union boss, of a Democrat special interest leader.
- 34:27Speaker 2: A week ago, you were depressed, you were demoralizing, you
- 34:31Speaker 2: were contemplating America run by Hitler. And by the way,
- 34:35Speaker 2: if you're one of those people, you think Donald Trump
- 34:37Speaker 2: is Adolf Hitler. Yeah, but look like you were just
- 34:40Speaker 2: I don't even know if I want to show up
- 34:41Speaker 2: and vote.
- 34:41Speaker 1: It's terrible.
- 34:42Speaker 2: It's horrible. And now to go back to the sinking
- 34:46Speaker 2: cruise ship, you've been thrown a lifeline. I think we're
- 34:50Speaker 2: going to see jubilation on the Democrat side. That's dangerous too,
- 34:54Speaker 2: you know, jubilation.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:56Speaker 2: What happens is donors pull out their checks and they
- 34:58Speaker 2: write really big checks when they're massive. What happens is
- 35:01Speaker 2: activists go and they work harder, they turn more people out,
- 35:05Speaker 2: and that particularly if the Republicans are over confident, we
- 35:09Speaker 2: cannot be over confident. That combination is dangerous. And you
- 35:13Speaker 2: know what, it reminds me of, potentially I hope this
- 35:16Speaker 2: is not right, but it reminds me of a few
- 35:18Speaker 2: years ago the A and M versus Alabama game. I
- 35:21Speaker 2: was there at the A and M versus Alabama game.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Alabama at the time was the number one team in
- 35:24Speaker 2: the country.
- 35:25Speaker 1: You have me at sports analogy. I'm all in now,
- 35:27Speaker 1: A and M.
- 35:28Speaker 2: A and M had started off as a top twenty
- 35:30Speaker 2: five team and had a good team, but it had
- 35:32Speaker 2: lost two games in a row. Yep, two opponents that
- 35:36Speaker 2: weren't wasn't supposed to lose. I think maybe Mississippi State.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it was bad. It was bad.
- 35:40Speaker 2: And so we came into the game and I was
- 35:42Speaker 2: there in college station, and I remember saying to my
- 35:46Speaker 2: buddies I was at the game with, I said, you
- 35:47Speaker 2: know what, I think A and M has a real
- 35:49Speaker 2: chance to win this game because I think Alabama's feeling
- 35:53Speaker 2: like we're the number one team in the country and
- 35:55Speaker 2: these A and M guys suck. Look at look they're
- 35:57Speaker 2: losing to teams that are not not contenders.
- 36:01Speaker 1: This is easy.
- 36:02Speaker 2: We're playing a junior high team, and I think the
- 36:04Speaker 2: Aggies were pissed off or they were at Kyle Field
- 36:07Speaker 2: and they were defending their home and they were mad
- 36:09Speaker 2: because everyone was dismissing them as a joke and they're like,
- 36:11Speaker 2: wait a second, We're a top tier football team. And
- 36:16Speaker 2: they ended up winning that game. It was awesome. Forty
- 36:19Speaker 2: one thirty eight was the final score. Kyle Field erupted.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I don't want to see the Democrats playing the role
- 36:26Speaker 2: of A and M in that dynamic, and so my
- 36:29Speaker 2: message to Republicans is do not behave like this is
- 36:32Speaker 2: in the bag, because that's one of the easiest ways
- 36:35Speaker 2: to ensure it's.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Not in the bag. I want to ask you strategy
- 36:37Speaker 1: question on if you are the Trump team, what do
- 36:41Speaker 1: you do when you just start acting like you're running
- 36:43Speaker 1: against Harris. Before you answer that, I want to tell
- 36:45Speaker 1: you about our friends over at Preborn and the incredible
- 36:49Speaker 1: work that they are doing and how you can get involved.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Uh.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Preborn is an organization that fights for unborn children. How
- 36:57Speaker 1: do they do this? Preborn's networks clinics shine the bright
- 37:01Speaker 1: light in the darkest corner of our country where abortions
- 37:05Speaker 1: take place thousands of times a day. If we can
- 37:08Speaker 1: help protect these children, it is so important that we
- 37:12Speaker 1: make sure that their heartbeat, their voices are heard. How
- 37:16Speaker 1: do they do this? Preborn introduces mothers to their precious
- 37:19Speaker 1: preborn babies through ultrasound. Ultrasound is an incredible tool where
- 37:24Speaker 1: a mother can hear the heart of their baby. This
- 37:28Speaker 1: combination leads to Preborn saving over two one hundred and
- 37:32Speaker 1: eighty thousand babies to date. What they do is they
- 37:36Speaker 1: pay for those ultrasounds. Your donation of twenty eight dollars
- 37:40Speaker 1: sponsors one ultrasound and it's critical for the battle for life.
- 37:45Speaker 1: So let's join together and save as many lives and
- 37:48Speaker 1: heartbeats as possible. Introducing mothers to their child's heartbeat. Please
- 37:55Speaker 1: donate and it's easy. Just dial pound two point fifty
- 37:58Speaker 1: and say the keyword baby. That's pound two point fifty
- 38:03Speaker 1: say the keyword baby. Or go to preborn dot com
- 38:07Speaker 1: slash verdict. That's preborn dot com slash verdict and help
- 38:11Speaker 1: save a baby today. That's preborn dot com slash verdict
- 38:16Speaker 1: sponsored by Preborn Senator. If you are Donald Trump, you
- 38:22Speaker 1: now know that Biden is gone. The number one question
- 38:26Speaker 1: that the campaign's got to ask is how do you
- 38:29Speaker 1: campaign against somebody for the next month that you don't
- 38:32Speaker 1: know who it's going to be.
- 38:34Speaker 2: So look, I'd say forty percent you campaign against Kamala Harris,
- 38:37Speaker 2: you assume it's Kamala, and sixty percent you campaign against
- 38:40Speaker 2: the Democrats record. And I will say I've been concerned
- 38:44Speaker 2: in recent weeks and months that we've spent too much
- 38:47Speaker 2: time attacking Joe Biden for his mental diminishment and not
- 38:52Speaker 2: enough time making the case as you and I often do,
- 38:56Speaker 2: that the Biden Harris Democrat record has been a train wreck.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And I say Democrat right record, because it's not just
- 39:00Speaker 2: Joe Biden, it's Kamala Harris, and it's every single Democrat
- 39:03Speaker 2: in Congress, every Democrat Senator, every Democrat house member. They
- 39:07Speaker 2: voted repeatedly in favor of the spending and the debt
- 39:09Speaker 2: that is causing inflation. They voted repeatedly in favor of
- 39:12Speaker 2: Biden's war on oil and gas and energy that is
- 39:15Speaker 2: causing energy prices to skyrocket. They voted repeatedly in favor
- 39:18Speaker 2: of open borders that's endangering our families across this country.
- 39:22Speaker 2: They voted repeatedly in favor of letting violent criminals out
- 39:24Speaker 2: of jail. That is again endangering our families. They voted
- 39:27Speaker 2: repeatedly in favor of appeasing our enemies and undermining our allies.
- 39:33Speaker 2: And so from the Trump's campaign, I would assume it's Kamala,
- 39:38Speaker 2: but also make the broader point it is their agenda
- 39:41Speaker 2: that has failed the American people. The classic question in
- 39:44Speaker 2: any election, are you better off now than you were
- 39:46Speaker 2: four years ago? It doesn't matter what fill in the
- 39:49Speaker 2: blank democrat they drop into that slot, they're going to
- 39:53Speaker 2: be defending the same disastrous, failed record. And so I
- 39:57Speaker 2: hope the Trump campaign and I hope Republicans generally make
- 40:00Speaker 2: that case substantively.
- 40:03Speaker 1: On the merits, It's gonna be interesting. We're gonna cover
- 40:06Speaker 1: it all. Make sure you share this podcast with your
- 40:09Speaker 1: family and friends. Share the video on social media from YouTube.

- 40:24Speaker 1: It's emergency pod.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yes, let me make a final statement.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I like this.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I'm going to place the odds that Joe Biden pardons
- 40:32Speaker 2: Hunter Biden at one hundred point zero percent. Hunter Biden
- 40:38Speaker 2: will get a pardon as a result of this decision today,
- 40:42Speaker 2: will not happen till after election day.
- 40:44Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna ask, when's the happening.
- 40:45Speaker 2: He's not gonna do it. He's not gonna do it
- 40:47Speaker 2: before election day, but he's gonna stick around and after
- 40:50Speaker 2: election day. I believe it is now one hundred percent
- 40:53Speaker 2: that Joe Biden will pardon Hunter.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I have a feeling that might be part of our
- 40:56Speaker 1: next show. It might be Don't Forget. We do this
