Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / BIDEN ADMIN DECLARES CLIMATE A NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE LIKE AN ISIS TERRORIST THREAT
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Tell you what it must be nice to be a
- 0:02Speaker 1: Democrat where you can walk up on stage, just like
- 0:05Speaker 1: John Kerry did yesterday, lie to the American people, lie
- 0:10Speaker 1: to the media, and tell everybody that these sudden, massive
- 0:14Speaker 1: job losses in the oil and gas industry are somehow
- 0:17Speaker 1: not Joe Biden's fault with this green and alternative energy
- 0:22Speaker 1: climate change agenda that they are forcing on all of you.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I was watching the White House press briefing and the
- 0:31Speaker 1: headline at the bottom of MSNBC was Biden executive action
- 0:35Speaker 1: to elevate climate as a national security priority. Not like
- 0:41Speaker 1: taking out ISIS or al Qaeda, or even dealing with
- 0:45Speaker 1: domestic terrorism. No, no no, no, the Biden executive action is
- 0:49Speaker 1: going to elevate climate change as a national security priority.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So they've got this press conference and John Kerry is
- 1:00Speaker 1: telling the American people that what you should not be
- 1:04Speaker 1: sleeping overnight, what should keep you up, what should make
- 1:06Speaker 1: you worry, what should be the center of your universe
- 1:08Speaker 1: and the conversation you're having in your family and friends.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's climate change, and you need to focus on what
- 1:16Speaker 1: we tell you is the real problem and the real problem,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and it's a national security priority. It's climate change. We did,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and there's really no telling long term how much to
- 1:34Speaker 1: improve the economy worldwide by these shutting down of the
- 1:38Speaker 1: world with COVID nineteen. People are not driving like they
- 1:42Speaker 1: used to to work. We've all seen that on the expressway.
- 1:44Speaker 1: You can drive around forty two forty you see, it's
- 1:46Speaker 1: very clear. You can go anywhere in the country and
- 1:49Speaker 1: you travel and you can see just how empty the
- 1:51Speaker 1: streets are. Traffic is not a problem like it used
- 1:54Speaker 1: to be. You know, you look over in China and
- 1:57Speaker 1: they were showing mountains that you hadn't been able to
- 1:58Speaker 1: see in forty years. And the pictures you saw in France,
- 2:03Speaker 1: how you can all of a sudden see the bottom
- 2:06Speaker 1: or in Italy in the canals where they were saying
- 2:11Speaker 1: in lifetime, people had not seen the bottom of those
- 2:14Speaker 1: canals because they were already so dirty, right, they were
- 2:16Speaker 1: churned up so much. The boats had stopped, the sediment
- 2:20Speaker 1: had settled. You could even see dolphins going through the
- 2:23Speaker 1: canals in Italy. These are just some of the examples.
- 2:29Speaker 1: But look at your odometer. How many miles have you
- 2:32Speaker 1: put on your car this year compared to last year.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Mine's probably about a third less use in the last year.
- 2:40Speaker 1: That's just the reality. It's probably less than a third.
- 2:44Speaker 1: And the reason why is because we've all been staying home.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You cannot tell me that this hasn't had a massive impact.
- 2:55Speaker 1: You cannot tell me that this has not had a
- 2:58Speaker 1: massive packed on our air quality and around the world,
- 3:05Speaker 1: not just in America, literally around the world. Now. Of course,
- 3:09Speaker 1: if you listened to the left, they will tell you
- 3:15Speaker 1: there's two threats to you right now, two massive threats you.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Number one, Donald Trump, we got to impeach him even
- 3:19Speaker 1: though he's out of office. And number two, we've got
- 3:22Speaker 1: to tell you that climate changes everything, and we got
- 3:24Speaker 1: to get gas prices back up, and they will go
- 3:26Speaker 1: up if you have buyer's remorse. It's on you, folks.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I told you this was going to happen. If you
- 3:33Speaker 1: voted for Joe Biden, you knew this was coming. I
- 3:36Speaker 1: told you so. I warned you. I told you it
- 3:38Speaker 1: was going to happen. If you didn't think this was
- 3:41Speaker 1: going to happen, you weren't paying attention. This was always
- 3:44Speaker 1: going to happen. We knew it was going to happen.
- 3:46Speaker 1: This is what happens when you get these crazy liberals
- 3:52Speaker 1: and you give them power. Global warming, by the way,
- 3:56Speaker 1: was not even on the top ten issues and exit
- 3:59Speaker 1: pulling of the last on election day. Why are they
- 4:02Speaker 1: going back to it? Because it's where they make their money, folks,
- 4:06Speaker 1: this is how they get paid. This is how they
- 4:07Speaker 1: make their cash. You don't believe me, Let me give
- 4:11Speaker 1: you a new headline that, of course the media is
- 4:13Speaker 1: not going to be covering. There's a new headline out
- 4:17Speaker 1: reminding you, warning you that Kamala Harris, now vice president
- 4:22Speaker 1: Knights It's America Solar Wins, targeted by massive cyber attack,
- 4:27Speaker 1: hires Kamala Harris's husband, a former Chinese Communist Party linked
- 4:34Speaker 1: law firm as their new lobbyists. Solar Wins, a software
- 4:39Speaker 1: vender used by the US government and recently a target
- 4:41Speaker 1: of a massive cyber attack, has now retained former law
- 4:44Speaker 1: firm a vice president Kamala Harris's husband as its lobbying group. Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: he's getting paid. You know who's getting paid by He's
- 4:57Speaker 1: getting paid by a sol wind company. There's money to
- 5:03Speaker 1: be made on the left. If you're on the left,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you went and you invested heavy in this crap. And
- 5:08Speaker 1: the reason why is because you knew this was part
- 5:10Speaker 1: of your agenda. And now they're out there on TV
- 5:13Speaker 1: selling it to you, telling you right, they're telling you
- 5:17Speaker 1: that you got to do this. Folks. Solar wind is
- 5:20Speaker 1: where it's at. Solar wind is everything, Folks, Solar wind
- 5:25Speaker 1: is what you have to focus on. It's a national
- 5:32Speaker 1: security issue, as they described it. Now, there's been a
- 5:37Speaker 1: lot of job losses. Apparently that doesn't matter right now,
- 5:40Speaker 1: no one cares. Job losses are something you should not
- 5:44Speaker 1: worry about job loss or something you shouldn't care about
- 5:46Speaker 1: job losses, or something you shouldn't even focus on ask
- 5:49Speaker 1: questions about, because we're going to replace those jobs with
- 5:52Speaker 1: other jobs. That's how they sell you on this. And
- 5:54Speaker 1: this is exactly what they sold you to in the
- 5:56Speaker 1: Obama years, and it never materialized. It never happened. In
- 6:00Speaker 1: full disclosure. Sure there were some jobs that were created
- 6:04Speaker 1: and so learned they disappeared. They were subsidized with the
- 6:07Speaker 1: federal government. Go look at Celindra and the disaster of
- 6:10Speaker 1: all the companies that we spent hundreds of millions of
- 6:13Speaker 1: dollars billions of dollars overall investing in. Go look at them,
- 6:19Speaker 1: Take a look. How many of those jobs are still
- 6:22Speaker 1: around today. They're not because they're not permanent. They're temporary.
- 6:28Speaker 1: They were never designed to be permanent. It was a
- 6:31Speaker 1: political agenda you were pushing, nothing more than that. It
- 6:37Speaker 1: was just a political agenda. I want you to hear
- 6:43Speaker 1: John Kerry at this press conference trying to make you
- 6:47Speaker 1: believe that the massive sudden job losses in the oil
- 6:49Speaker 1: and gas industry are not Biden's fault, even though it's
- 6:55Speaker 1: clearly there's no one else to blame. Right, you can't
- 6:58Speaker 1: blame Orange Man for this. The only reason why these
- 7:02Speaker 1: jobs were loss is because of your new policies. Right
- 7:05Speaker 1: when you came in and the media did not push back.
- 7:10Speaker 1: They were like, oh, okay, well we'll report it that way.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Sounds great, Thanks for playing. I'm gonna play this for
- 7:15Speaker 1: you in just a moment. It's Ben Ferguson's show much more,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and you'll hear John Kerry what he had to say,
- 7:20Speaker 1: and the media, of course letting him off the hook
- 7:24Speaker 1: when he says, oh no, no, no no, no, no, these
- 7:26Speaker 1: aren't our fault. This isn't our fault. Quickly, by the way,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I got to remind you about something. You got two
- 7:31Speaker 1: days left. If you want to get in the fight
- 7:34Speaker 1: on the statewide level and join for free the number
- 7:38Speaker 1: one conservative organizations in the country. AMAC. We're only gonna

- 8:03Speaker 1: away from us, holding the administration accountable for what they're doing,
- 8:08Speaker 1: trying to decimate the old gas industry. So if you've
- 8:11Speaker 1: not joined the number one conservative organizations in the country AMAC,

- 9:03Speaker 1: National security That is how the Biden administration has declared
- 9:09Speaker 1: the war on natural gas and oil in this country.
- 9:13Speaker 1: They're saying it's a national security issue, just like dealing
- 9:16Speaker 1: with terrorism. John Kerry, who is in charge of shutting
- 9:23Speaker 1: down and attacking the oil and gas industry, because they
- 9:26Speaker 1: say it's as dangerous as al Qaeda. It's a top
- 9:29Speaker 1: priority of the administration. It's a national security issue. They
- 9:34Speaker 1: are now saying, yeah, a bunch of job draw loss,
- 9:38Speaker 1: but it's not our fault. Like, it's really not our fault. Okay,
- 9:42Speaker 1: don't don't act like it's our fault that you can't
- 9:45Speaker 1: blame us for the job losses. It's not. It's not
- 9:47Speaker 1: our fault. I want you to take a listen to
- 9:51Speaker 1: this question from the media to John Kerry. After Biden
- 9:55Speaker 1: takes executive action to elevate climate as a national security priority,
- 10:00Speaker 1: he would they're very certainly are oil and gas industry
- 10:05Speaker 1: workers who are watching you both right now who will
- 10:09Speaker 1: hear the message that the takeaway to them is that
- 10:12Speaker 1: they are seeing an end to their livelihoods. What do
- 10:16Speaker 1: you say to them, particularly those people who who presidential
- 10:20Speaker 1: struck a court with on the campaign trail he promised
- 10:23Speaker 1: to save their jobs. What is your message to them
- 10:25Speaker 1: right now? And also to the oil industry executives who
- 10:28Speaker 1: are listening, are you putting them on notice today? Well,
- 10:32Speaker 1: we didn't come here to put anybody on notice except
- 10:35Speaker 1: to the seriousness of President Biden's intent to do what
- 10:39Speaker 1: needs to be done to deal with this crisis. And
- 10:41Speaker 1: it is a crisis with respect to those workers. No
- 10:49Speaker 1: two people are more in this realm. I'm not more
- 10:52Speaker 1: concerned about it. And the President of the United States
- 10:55Speaker 1: has expressed in every comment he has made about to
- 10:58Speaker 1: climate the need to grow the new jobs that pay better.
- 11:05Speaker 1: They're the cleaner that I mean. You know, you look
- 11:07Speaker 1: at the consequences of black lung for a minor, for instance,
- 11:09Speaker 1: and measure that against the fastest growing job in the
- 11:12Speaker 1: United States before COVID was solar power technician. The same
- 11:16Speaker 1: people can do those jobs, but the choice of doing
- 11:19Speaker 1: the solar power one now is a better choice. Similarly,
- 11:25Speaker 1: you have the second fastest growing job pre COVID was
- 11:29Speaker 1: wind turbine technician. This is happening. Seventy five seventy percent
- 11:34Speaker 1: of all the electricity that's come online in the United
- 11:36Speaker 1: States in the last few years came from renewables, not
- 11:41Speaker 1: you know, coal plants have been closing over the last
- 11:44Speaker 1: twenty years. So what President Biden wants to do is
- 11:49Speaker 1: make sure those folks have better choices, that they have alternatives,
- 11:54Speaker 1: that they can be the people who go to work
- 11:55Speaker 1: to make the solar panels, they were making them here
- 11:58Speaker 1: at home. That is going to be a particular focus
- 12:02Speaker 1: of the Build Back Better agenda. And I think that
- 12:07Speaker 1: I got to ask this question though, before I continue
- 12:10Speaker 1: with these lies. When he says pre COVID this was
- 12:14Speaker 1: like the industry where everybody was getting paid, right, and
- 12:16Speaker 1: it was just you're insane not to jump on board,
- 12:19Speaker 1: like we're gonna make you all this money. The statistics
- 12:23Speaker 1: that he just described show me where they are. You're
- 12:27Speaker 1: telling me that no one was reporting on this massive
- 12:30Speaker 1: growth in an industry that you're telling me is absolutely there.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I want to see the data. I don't believe you.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Second thing, did you notice how he pivoted to coal,
- 12:41Speaker 1: not oil and gas. She did not ask a question
- 12:45Speaker 1: about coal. Coal is totally different than oil and gas industry,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and he pivoted and they should have asked him. Well,
- 12:53Speaker 1: hold on a second, I'm not asking about coal. Carry right,
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'm not asking I didn't ask you about coal. That's
- 13:00Speaker 1: not as coal has nothing to do with oil and gas.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And he just says coal jobs are disappearing over the
- 13:05Speaker 1: last twenty years. No one would dispute that fact. That's
- 13:07Speaker 1: not the damn question they asked you. And these are
- 13:11Speaker 1: how this is how much of a scumbag these guys are.
- 13:14Speaker 1: They tell you that you can get a new job
- 13:17Speaker 1: if you're in the oil and gas industry easily, and
- 13:21Speaker 1: then they compare it to people losing jobs of coal,
- 13:24Speaker 1: which was not the question at all. No one asked
- 13:27Speaker 1: a question about coal. They asked a question about the
- 13:31Speaker 1: oil and gas industry. You then decided you couldn't answer
- 13:35Speaker 1: that question with a straight face, so you altered you changed,
- 13:39Speaker 1: You went to something that was totally unrelated. Cole had
- 13:42Speaker 1: nothing to do with the question he was asked. There
- 13:46Speaker 1: isn't anything that he was asked about that dealt with Cole. Now,
- 13:50Speaker 1: the second thing he just said that also just irritates
- 13:52Speaker 1: the crap out of me. Is this idea that I
- 13:54Speaker 1: can just go from a driller right fracking or one
- 13:58Speaker 1: of the jobs, or the pipeline and immediately just turn
- 14:01Speaker 1: into a technician with wind. Who's gonna pay for that
- 14:06Speaker 1: change in my education? Who's gonna change or pay for
- 14:11Speaker 1: that trade school? Then, who's gonna pay for my family
- 14:15Speaker 1: to leave where I'm living now to go to somewhere
- 14:17Speaker 1: completely different? To do this third thing he said, that's
- 14:20Speaker 1: just total crap. He says, well, we gotta make these
- 14:25Speaker 1: solar panels here. How were you going to do that
- 14:27Speaker 1: when you're fighting against China that can make them for
- 14:30Speaker 1: ten cents on the dollar compared to what the labor
- 14:32Speaker 1: costs are and the unionization and you're fifteen dollar minium
- 14:36Speaker 1: wage you're mandating. Now, you cannot make solar panels in
- 14:41Speaker 1: America at a competitive rate compared to what they can
- 14:44Speaker 1: do in China and other nations. You just can't. So
- 14:49Speaker 1: he just sorts this, we gotta make this stuff here, Okay,
- 14:51Speaker 1: how are you gonna do it? Show me a viable
- 14:54Speaker 1: way to make it here. I'm willing to listen. But
- 14:57Speaker 1: you guys have already opened China back up to doing
- 14:59Speaker 1: a way of the health China wants to do. Right,
- 15:03Speaker 1: You've literally already opened up China and said, China start
- 15:09Speaker 1: manufacturing everything again and just torch us, go for it,
- 15:16Speaker 1: flat out, just just blow this thing up. That's what
- 15:21Speaker 1: they've been doing. Am I wrong? That is? I mean?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Is that not exactly what they've been doing. So he's
- 15:31Speaker 1: selling you now nothing but a con artist's response. I'm
- 15:36Speaker 1: going to tell you that the cold jobs are dying,
- 15:38Speaker 1: which is true, instead of actually answering the question about
- 15:42Speaker 1: the oil and gas industry, because the oil and gas
- 15:44Speaker 1: industry is not coal. Now, either he's deliberately lying to you,
- 15:47Speaker 1: or he's a complete dumb a and doesn't know the
- 15:49Speaker 1: difference between cold jobs and oil and gas jobs. John Kerry,
- 15:53Speaker 1: by the way, he's not a moron. Okay, He's not
- 15:59Speaker 1: an idiot. I want to make that clear. He knows
- 16:03Speaker 1: what he's doing here. He's not stupid. He understands what
- 16:07Speaker 1: he's doing here. He's not an idiot. And the media
- 16:12Speaker 1: lets him get away with it. No one, no one,
- 16:15Speaker 1: stops him in his tracks when he starts talking about Cole.
- 16:18Speaker 1: They just let him keep talking. All the electricity that's
- 16:20Speaker 1: come online in the United States in the last few
- 16:23Speaker 1: years came from renewables, not you know, coal plants have
- 16:28Speaker 1: been closing over the last twenty years. Immediately right there,
- 16:32Speaker 1: the media should jumped in and said, mister, you know, carry, secondary,
- 16:35Speaker 1: carry whatever you want to call this guy. But I
- 16:38Speaker 1: didn't ask you about Cole. Cole has nothing to do
- 16:39Speaker 1: with the oil and gas industry. Then the jobs just
- 16:41Speaker 1: were lost in oil and gas that were just decimated
- 16:43Speaker 1: in oil and gas. With all due respect the oil
- 16:46Speaker 1: and gas manufacturers, at workers the executives that I asked
- 16:51Speaker 1: you a question about their industry has nothing to do
- 16:53Speaker 1: with coal. Why are you talking about Cole right now?
- 16:57Speaker 1: But none of them asked the question quickly. By the way,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I got to remind you about something. You got two
- 17:03Speaker 1: days left if you want to get in the fight
- 17:05Speaker 1: on the statewide level and join for free the number

- 18:34Speaker 1: I gotta get to this amazing story that is taking
- 18:39Speaker 1: the world by storm. And if you don't know what
- 18:43Speaker 1: game Stop is, let me explain it to you, because
- 18:46Speaker 1: the entire world is enamored by what is happening right now.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Game Stop is a gamers heaven. It is where they
- 18:57Speaker 1: go to absolutely geek out to where you buy video games,
- 19:02Speaker 1: and a lot of video game players also have gotten
- 19:07Speaker 1: into day trading. They've started using different sites like Reddit
- 19:12Speaker 1: and others to organize to kind of take on the
- 19:15Speaker 1: rich people in this country that manipulate the markets and
- 19:19Speaker 1: turn turn Wall Street basically in their own personal casinos,
- 19:23Speaker 1: turn in their own Vegas. Right. It's a it's a
- 19:25Speaker 1: true David Verse's Goliath story with what these gamers have done,
- 19:30Speaker 1: and they totally destroyed the rich people yesterday. The people
- 19:35Speaker 1: that do this every day manipulate the markets and don't
- 19:37Speaker 1: go to prison for it, which is why this is
- 19:39Speaker 1: such an amazing story. So these share prices for the
- 19:44Speaker 1: video game retailer game Stock have shocked and really owed
- 19:49Speaker 1: everyone over the past week. After an online campaign to
- 19:53Speaker 1: screw the hedge Fund manager, the rich people on Wall
- 19:56Speaker 1: Street sent the stock literally sore through the roof. Now
- 20:01Speaker 1: this is David Burgers Goliath, which is the reason why
- 20:03Speaker 1: I think this is an amazing story. Wall Street saw
- 20:07Speaker 1: an opportunity to make money by shorting the game stock
- 20:10Speaker 1: stop stock say that three times fast. They started shorting
- 20:15Speaker 1: it because they thought it was gonna just you know,
- 20:17Speaker 1: they saw it was going to tumble. That is when
- 20:21Speaker 1: an online community of very small do it yourself investors.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'm talking about small as and we're not talking aboutout
- 20:28Speaker 1: a lot of money each. These people have rallied to
- 20:31Speaker 1: buy up shares in the company. It started to work.
- 20:36Speaker 1: It rocketed the stock price to a dazzling one thousand,
- 20:42Speaker 1: six hundred percent increase since it began beginning of January.
- 20:48Speaker 1: It has now cost heads fun short sellers literally billions
- 20:53Speaker 1: of dollars to cover their losses. What's happened has been
- 20:58Speaker 1: characterized by everyone in the media worldwide in the money
- 21:02Speaker 1: markets is a true David Verse Goliath story. If you're
- 21:06Speaker 1: in wash, if you're in Hollywood right now, you should
- 21:08Speaker 1: go ahead and start making this movie because I'm gonna
- 21:11Speaker 1: want to watch it. It's a story of how the
- 21:15Speaker 1: little guys. The trolls right that are hated by Wall
- 21:19Speaker 1: Street on the internet from forum Reddit have at least
- 21:23Speaker 1: for now, beat the credentialed expert billionaire investors of Wall Street.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Game Stock, like many retailers, have suffered during the coronavirus pandemic,
- 21:34Speaker 1: but for years now, they've also been confronted with a
- 21:36Speaker 1: changing market landscape. Simply put customers or moving to online retail.
- 21:41Speaker 1: They're buying now digital copies of their video games over
- 21:43Speaker 1: the internet, relying less on brick and mortar stores to
- 21:47Speaker 1: go in and buy physical copies of the games they play.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Last December, the retail chain game Stop, facing mounting debt,
- 21:56Speaker 1: announced it would close more than a thousand stores by
- 21:59Speaker 1: the end of the the fiscal year in March, after already
- 22:01Speaker 1: closing more than seven hundred and eighty three stores in
- 22:04Speaker 1: the past two years. As reported by Business Insider, in
- 22:07Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, the company had a net loss of four
- 22:10Speaker 1: hundred and eighty five million dollars. It's not good. Twenty nineteen,
- 22:14Speaker 1: game Stop rebounded slightly, losing just eighty three million compared
- 22:18Speaker 1: to the four hundred and eighty five million in the
- 22:20Speaker 1: year before, and in twenty twenty it faces nineteen million
- 22:25Speaker 1: in net losses. In a bid to revitalize game Stop,
- 22:29Speaker 1: last September, investor Ryan Cohen, the founder of the online
- 22:34Speaker 1: pet food retailer Chewey, decided to buy a thirteen percent
- 22:38Speaker 1: stake in the company and started campaigning for a change
- 22:41Speaker 1: of the business model. Cohen envisioned game Stop as a
- 22:45Speaker 1: competitor to Amazon, pushing for it to transition to online
- 22:48Speaker 1: retail and compete in that space. On January the eleventh,
- 22:53Speaker 1: game Stop announced that it had added three new directors
- 22:56Speaker 1: to its board, including Cohen. That causes stock price to jump.
- 23:01Speaker 1: At the beginning of twenty twenty one, the Coming stock
- 23:03Speaker 1: was trading it around seventeen dollars. CNN even recounting that
- 23:09Speaker 1: the Coming stock price surged thirteen percent after that announcement.
- 23:14Speaker 1: But since then what has happened is almost unexplainable. Wall
- 23:19Speaker 1: Street observed game Stops decline, and they decided to bet
- 23:22Speaker 1: it would not be able to compete against Amazon, so
- 23:25Speaker 1: they saw a big opportunity to make big money. Hedge
- 23:30Speaker 1: funds including Melvin Capital and Citron indicated they would short
- 23:35Speaker 1: the stock, meaning you're betting against the stock going up.
- 23:39Speaker 1: But when you're short of stock. It can get very
- 23:41Speaker 1: expensive if you're wrong, especially if you're wrong to the
- 23:44Speaker 1: tune of what we've just witnessed by these people on Reddit.
- 23:50Speaker 1: These gamers right predicting that the increase in game stock
- 23:55Speaker 1: stock would temperate, was only temporary, and it would fall soon.
- 23:58Speaker 1: They started shorting it like crazy. They were even tweeting
- 24:03Speaker 1: it out. Citron Research on Twitter tweet out January the nineteenth, Tomorrow,
- 24:07Speaker 1: eleven thirty Eastern, Citron will live stream the five reasons
- 24:10Speaker 1: game stock buyers at these levels are the suckers at
- 24:14Speaker 1: the poker game stock back to twenty dollars fast. We
- 24:19Speaker 1: understand short interest better than you and will explain, oh, well,
- 24:25Speaker 1: that just decided that you know at that point, it's war, right.
- 24:28Speaker 1: The arrogant rich people of Wall Street just tweeted out
- 24:32Speaker 1: to tweet mocking the gamers. Last Wednesday, the reddit community
- 24:38Speaker 1: wall street bets entered the equation. Wall street bets is
- 24:42Speaker 1: essentially a messaging board that discusses day trading with some
- 24:45Speaker 1: three million users who refer to themselves as the degenerates.
- 24:50Speaker 1: After the news broke that Wall Street head funds were
- 24:53Speaker 1: going to short game stock, members of the community started
- 24:57Speaker 1: a campaign for the decentralized group of independent investors to
- 25:01Speaker 1: buy up shares an attempt to squeeze the short sellers,
- 25:05Speaker 1: forcing them to buy more of the stock they were
- 25:07Speaker 1: trying to short to cover the losses as its prices
- 25:10Speaker 1: went up, not down. Many acted as their own stockbrokers,
- 25:15Speaker 1: using services like robin Hood to trade stocks at home
- 25:18Speaker 1: using smartphone apps, and guess what happened, The little guys
- 25:22Speaker 1: finally won. C Net reports that game Stock blasted their
- 25:29Speaker 1: stock through the roof. Shares were at seventeen twenty five
- 25:33Speaker 1: and ended at one hundred and fifty nine dollars on Monday.
- 25:36Speaker 1: On Tuesday, the stock price fell before rising back up
- 25:39Speaker 1: to one forty seven. Then the market rally drew the
- 25:42Speaker 1: attention of the Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who tweeted about it,
- 25:47Speaker 1: causing more people to pay attention to what was happening,
- 25:50Speaker 1: after which the stock prices soared again. As of Wednesday morning,
- 25:54Speaker 1: game stock stock was trading it more than three hundred
- 25:56Speaker 1: and fifteen dollars a share insert the little guy is winning,
- 26:00Speaker 1: which is amazing. By the way, game stop shares or
- 26:05Speaker 1: higher again as Reddit traders pushed the stock up, really
- 26:09Speaker 1: wanting to squeeze these investors, these scumbags of Wall Street. Remember,
- 26:13Speaker 1: these are the degenerates that are now doing this. The
- 26:17Speaker 1: astounding success of Reddit's campaign has some members of Wall
- 26:21Speaker 1: Street saying we got to regulate them, We got to
- 26:25Speaker 1: shut them down, because that's what they do when you
- 26:27Speaker 1: get in the game. Right, Wall Street bets community attempted
- 26:30Speaker 1: to replicate what they've done with these other companies, then
- 26:35Speaker 1: decided to do it with AMC the movie company, and BlackBerry,
- 26:39Speaker 1: the old phone that everybody had. As for the short sellers,
- 26:42Speaker 1: Melvin Capital was forced to close out in short position
- 26:46Speaker 1: Tuesday afternoon after taking massive losses. CNBC could not report
- 26:52Speaker 1: the exact amount Melvin Capital loss but did note that
- 26:55Speaker 1: Citadel in point seventy two having fused close to three
- 27:00Speaker 1: billion into the hedge fund to cover some of their
- 27:03Speaker 1: massive losses. For some of the degenerates on rereditors as
- 27:07Speaker 1: they're also called, the whole episode was amazing. It was
- 27:11Speaker 1: a meme stock that really blew up Wall Street, moderator
- 27:15Speaker 1: toldwire dot com. The massive short contributed more towards the
- 27:19Speaker 1: meme stock. In total, short sellers of lost more than
- 27:23Speaker 1: five billion dollars this month on game stock game Stop stocks,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I should say credential investors have expressed that they're angry.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Hedge fund managers sang in a now deleted tweet Michael
- 27:42Speaker 1: Burry that what they had done with game Stop was unnatural, insane,
- 27:47Speaker 1: and dangerous. Burry, who became famous for betting against the
- 27:51Speaker 1: housing bubble, was a subject of the Big Short movie Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 1: also said there should be legal and regulatory repair cushions,
- 28:00Speaker 1: probably because he lost money. But the degenerates, as they
- 28:05Speaker 1: describe themselves, argue that what they're doing is no different
- 28:08Speaker 1: from a hedge fund taking action to manipulate a stocks price.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Insert Tucker Carlson last night saying, now the government wants
- 28:20Speaker 1: to shut down the little guy from actually making some
- 28:23Speaker 1: money doing exactly what the big guys have been doing
- 28:25Speaker 1: for decades, because the Internet's now fighting back. Hedge funds
- 28:30Speaker 1: do a lot of things to make money, but one
- 28:32Speaker 1: of those things is trading in the options market, shorting companies,
- 28:35Speaker 1: in other words, making money. When the stock price of
- 28:40Speaker 1: other companiesis American companies goods down, they lose money. Hedge
- 28:44Speaker 1: funds make money as part of the business model shorting stocks,
- 28:48Speaker 1: so borrowing shares and selling them on the expectation that
- 28:51Speaker 1: those shares will decline in value. Well. For the past
- 28:54Speaker 1: several months, hedge funds have short at the stock of
- 28:56Speaker 1: a retailer called game Stop. People online watch this. This This
- 29:00Speaker 1: kind of stuff happens all the time. And by the way,
- 29:02Speaker 1: sometimes hedge fund managers go on television We've talked about
- 29:05Speaker 1: this before on the show and attack specific companies or
- 29:08Speaker 1: whole sectors of the economy, hoping the value will go
- 29:12Speaker 1: down and they can profit from it. That's pretty ugly,
- 29:14Speaker 1: very ugly. It's very wrong. It's apparently legal, though, So
- 29:17Speaker 1: people on watch all this, and ultimately they decided to act.
- 29:21Speaker 1: A group of people on Reddit decided to buy up
- 29:23Speaker 1: game Stop options and that triggered a chain reaction that
- 29:26Speaker 1: drove game Stop share price higher and higher and higher.
- 29:29Speaker 1: As of today, shares of game Stop are up seventeen
- 29:32Speaker 1: hundred percent since the beginning of the month. That means
- 29:36Speaker 1: people on Reddit profited. People in hedge funds who are
- 29:39Speaker 1: betting that share price who could down lost money. And
- 29:42Speaker 1: that's a crime. Only people who work for hedge funds
- 29:45Speaker 1: are allowed to manipulate the market, often with the help
- 29:48Speaker 1: of CNBC. Now people are not allowed to do that. Already.
- 29:53Speaker 1: The people in charge of our system are outraged that
- 29:57Speaker 1: anyone without an official position at a hedge fund would
- 30:02Speaker 1: dare manipulate the market to their benefit. The communications platform
- 30:07Speaker 1: Discord has taken action against this. They shut down the
- 30:10Speaker 1: day traders, claiming that they're committing hate speech. In other words,
- 30:15Speaker 1: if you do what hedge funds do, but you don't
- 30:18Speaker 1: work at a hedge fund, you're a racist. Obviously, it's
- 30:23Speaker 1: just the beginning. Today, the CEO of NASDAK jumped to
- 30:26Speaker 1: the hedge fund's rescue and suggested, the day trading we
- 30:28Speaker 1: need to be halted. If we see a significant rise
- 30:32Speaker 1: in the chatter on social media channels, and then we
- 30:35Speaker 1: also match that up against unusual trading activity, we will
- 30:38Speaker 1: potentially halt that stock to allow ourselves to investigate the situation,
- 30:42Speaker 1: to be able to engage with the company, and to
- 30:45Speaker 1: give investors a chance to recalibrate their positions. So this
- 30:49Speaker 1: seems like a really big and significant story. This is
- 30:52Speaker 1: not a financial show that we're not fluent really in
- 30:54Speaker 1: this stuff. Charles pay By the way, I'm gonna let
- 30:56Speaker 1: you hear with Charles Payne, a good friend of show,
- 31:00Speaker 1: had to say about this. But you can hear now
- 31:02Speaker 1: they're freaking out. They are absolutely losing their minds and
- 31:06Speaker 1: freaking out that the little guy actually had a big
- 31:09Speaker 1: victory quickly. By the way, I got to remind you

- 32:42Speaker 1: ben free online dot com. Charles Payne is a guy
- 32:46Speaker 1: that really understands the little man. The little guy. I've
- 32:50Speaker 1: known Charles now for almost twenty years. He does an
- 32:52Speaker 1: incredible show over at Fox Business. He is a guy
- 32:56Speaker 1: that understands Wall Street really well. From being kind of
- 32:59Speaker 1: an outside of that became an insider and that the
- 33:02Speaker 1: little guy and the average Americans should have a chance
- 33:04Speaker 1: to make money on Wall Street is really what he
- 33:07Speaker 1: advocates for. Charles Payne was brought on Tucker's show last
- 33:11Speaker 1: night talking about what has been done by these people
- 33:16Speaker 1: on the internet to say screw you to the big
- 33:18Speaker 1: hedge Funge managers, and now Wall Street's like, well, we're
- 33:21Speaker 1: going to figure out a way to make sure this
- 33:22Speaker 1: never happens again. We're the only ones that can make money.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Take a listen to what he had to say as
- 33:29Speaker 1: he was talking to Tucker about this is a huge
- 33:31Speaker 1: victory for David and Goliath loss and now Goliath is
- 33:34Speaker 1: trying to shut down anything that they are doing. The
- 33:37Speaker 1: David's of the world are doing on the internet to
- 33:40Speaker 1: try to make some money on Wall Street doing the
- 33:42Speaker 1: same exact thing that these Wall Streets comebacks do every
- 33:45Speaker 1: single day. A really big and significant story. This is
- 33:48Speaker 1: not a financial show though we're not fluent really in
- 33:50Speaker 1: this stuff. Charles Payne is. He's hosted Making Money with
- 33:53Speaker 1: Charles Paint and Fox Business, and so we're grateful to
- 33:55Speaker 1: have him on tonight to explain what is going on
- 33:57Speaker 1: and what it means. Charles, thanks for coming on. Hey, Tucker,
- 34:00Speaker 1: you hit a whole lot of it, but let me
- 34:01Speaker 1: just fill it in a little bit more. Because not
- 34:03Speaker 1: only are these folks, these hedge funds selling the stock,
- 34:08Speaker 1: they don't own the stock, so they borrow it. Imagine
- 34:11Speaker 1: you borrow a stock that's trading at ten dollars and
- 34:14Speaker 1: then you drive the share price down and then you
- 34:17Speaker 1: buy it back for a dollar. You make the difference
- 34:20Speaker 1: nine bucks. And to your point, they're allowed to short
- 34:23Speaker 1: so much stock. Do you know the amount of stock
- 34:26Speaker 1: that was out on Game Stop. Let's just say one
- 34:29Speaker 1: percent of the shares that are out, Well, they shorted
- 34:31Speaker 1: one hundred and forty percent of the stock. So they
- 34:35Speaker 1: borrowed the same stock over and over and over, the
- 34:39Speaker 1: same shares and sold it into the market over the
- 34:42Speaker 1: Their job, their mission was to drive Game Stop to
- 34:45Speaker 1: zero zero. No one said a word on any financial network,
- 34:51Speaker 1: particularly CNBC, which always lets the shorts come on and
- 34:54Speaker 1: a sale go to war with companies almost voiceless companies.
- 34:58Speaker 1: So what happens. Some people give wind to this, these
- 35:02Speaker 1: folks that you said on, these these individual investors, they
- 35:05Speaker 1: decide to buy the stock up. They start to pressure
- 35:07Speaker 1: the shorts. It's called a short squeeze, and it's working.
- 35:12Speaker 1: And Wall Street is losing its mind. And Wall Street
- 35:14Speaker 1: now wants to change the rules of the game because
- 35:17Speaker 1: a bunch of people would accounts arranging for a five
- 35:20Speaker 1: hundred dollars, the twenty five hundred dollars are taking down
- 35:23Speaker 1: the billionaires amazing. So the options, I mean, it's a
- 35:29Speaker 1: much longer conversation about where the options market actually helps
- 35:32Speaker 1: the real American economy in any way. But unless I'm
- 35:34Speaker 1: missing what you're saying, when individual investors tried to do
- 35:39Speaker 1: what hedge funds do every day but to the benefit
- 35:43Speaker 1: of game stop, they're not racist for doing that, and
- 35:45Speaker 1: they need to be purged from the internet. Well, you know,
- 35:50Speaker 1: in any war, the first thing you want to do
- 35:52Speaker 1: is cut off the line of communication. So hence they
- 35:55Speaker 1: are going to be cutting off this discord, right, They're
- 35:58Speaker 1: not going to allow the communication. You do that, then
- 36:01Speaker 1: you start to change other rules of the game. Clearly,
- 36:04Speaker 1: Charles Payne, I really appreciate your coming on tonight. Thank you.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I love this by the way. Finally, and I don't
- 36:09Speaker 1: think they're gonna let them win again, right. MSNBC is
- 36:13Speaker 1: watched by the elites. They're not gonna and they'll let
- 36:16Speaker 1: anybody come on and destroy a company as long as
- 36:18Speaker 1: they can make money for the other elites. They're not
- 36:20Speaker 1: gonna let this go like, they're gonna make sure this
- 36:22Speaker 1: cannot happen every week. Hell, they're gonna make sure it
- 36:26Speaker 1: can't happen once a year. That's why they're gonna shut
- 36:29Speaker 1: down these Reddit forums saying, oh, these Reddit forums. You
- 36:32Speaker 1: can't actually come on, you can't actually let this go right,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you can't actually say that this should happen. We're gonna
- 36:43Speaker 1: make sure it never happens again, because we are the
- 36:45Speaker 1: only ones that can make money. So we'll shut it down.
- 36:50Speaker 1: We'll make sure that you guys never have an opportunity
- 36:52Speaker 1: to do it again. You never have a chance to
- 36:55Speaker 1: do it again. We're gonna shut you down. We're gonna
- 36:58Speaker 1: silence you. We're gonna make that the little man can't,
- 37:03Speaker 1: the David's of the world cannot have success. Ever, that
- 37:08Speaker 1: is exactly what they're advocating for. And I'll tell you,
- 37:12Speaker 1: I think this is one of the greatest things, the
- 37:14Speaker 1: fact that Elon Musk is screwing with Wall Street, the
- 37:16Speaker 1: way that he is bringing attention to when this stuff happens.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I love it. I genuinely love what has happened here.
- 37:28Speaker 1: It is amazing what is happening all right? Quick reminder,
