Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Harris Word Salad on Late Night, Colleges & Universities Overrun by Antisemitic Hate, plus Democrats Turn on Their Own Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:00Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Ted Cruz week in Review, Ben
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ferguson with you, and we had some major stories that
- 0:07Speaker 2: you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:09Speaker 2: First up, Kamala Harris. While Americans are suffering from a
- 0:14Speaker 2: second hurricane within weeks hitting Florida, she was on late
- 0:18Speaker 2: night television drinking beers and while doing podcasts called call
- 0:23Speaker 2: her Daddy. The worst part is even on these shows
- 0:27Speaker 2: she was a word salad princess. We'll have that for
- 0:30Speaker 2: you in a moment. Plus, what's going on in our
- 0:33Speaker 2: college campuses and universities and how are they able to
- 0:37Speaker 2: brainwash so many kids with terrorist propaganda backing Hamas and Hesbelah,
- 0:44Speaker 2: especially on the anniversary of the terrorist attack in Israel.
- 0:48Speaker 2: We'll dive into that. And finally, there is a very
- 0:52Speaker 2: interesting thing that's happening in this country. Democrats who are
- 0:56Speaker 2: leaving the Democratic Party to join the Republican Party that
- 1:00Speaker 2: are currently in office. So what happens to them when
- 1:04Speaker 2: they change parties. We're going to tell that story with
- 1:07Speaker 2: one elected official that stood up to the extremists in
- 1:10Speaker 2: her own party, the Democratic Party. It's the Weekend Review
- 1:14Speaker 2: and it starts right now she tried to redo, by
- 1:18Speaker 2: the way, on her question of what she would do different.
- 1:21Speaker 2: This was when she decided to go on Stephen Colbert
- 1:25Speaker 2: last night, and here's what she said when she was
- 1:28Speaker 2: asked about, Hey, would you be any different than Joe Biden?
- 1:32Speaker 2: Now I have a theory center. I think they said,
- 1:34Speaker 2: can you re ask that question?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Because he that was entirely stage the campaign realized, oh
- 1:41Speaker 3: my goodness, this was a disaster of an answer. You've
- 1:44Speaker 3: just given Trump their lead campaign commercial heading into the election.
- 1:49Speaker 3: So let's tee up and give a different answer. And
- 1:52Speaker 3: of course, Stephen Colbert, you know, I'm actually surprised he
- 1:55Speaker 3: wasn't wearing like a cheerleader like mini skirt in pomp
- 2:00Speaker 3: Pom's because it is not complicated who he's rooting for.
- 2:04Speaker 1: But go ahead and play the clip.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Polling shows that a lot of people, especially independent voters,
- 2:10Speaker 4: really want this to be a change election, and that
- 2:13Speaker 4: they tend to break for you in terms of thinking
- 2:16Speaker 4: about change. You are a member of the president administration
- 2:20Speaker 4: under a Harris administration, what would the major changes be
- 2:25Speaker 4: and what would stay the same?
- 2:27Speaker 5: Sure, well, I mean I'm obviously not Joe Biden, I know,
- 2:30Speaker 5: and so that would be one change in terms of
- 2:35Speaker 5: but also I think it's important to say with you know,
- 2:38Speaker 5: twenty eight days ago, I'm not Donald Trump. And so
- 2:43Speaker 5: when we think about the significance of what this next
- 2:46Speaker 5: generation of leadership looks like to be elected president, it
- 2:50Speaker 5: is about, frankly, of the American people. And I believe
- 2:57Speaker 5: in our country. I love that it is our character
- 3:02Speaker 5: and nature to be an ambitious people. You know, we
- 3:06Speaker 5: we have aspirations, we have dreams, we are we have
- 3:11Speaker 5: incredible work ethic, and I just believe that we can
- 3:15Speaker 5: create and build upon the success we've achieved in a
- 3:19Speaker 5: way that we continue to grow opportunity and in that
- 3:23Speaker 5: way grow the strength of our nation. So, for example,
- 3:25Speaker 5: my economic policies, I think of it and I have
- 3:28Speaker 5: named it as creating an opportunity economy. So it's about
- 3:32Speaker 5: things like investing in small businesses. I love our small businesses.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I love this part where she's like, I created it
- 3:38Speaker 2: like out of thin air. Center, I created it. I've
- 3:41Speaker 2: created and I named it like it's a puppy. I've
- 3:44Speaker 2: named it like. She didn't give any answer there, right,
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's just she just said work the American people, and
- 3:51Speaker 2: we have ambition.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Quote unquote, look that that answer, it's actually screamingly funny
- 3:58Speaker 3: and at the same time screamingly terrifying. So Colbert's try.
- 4:03Speaker 3: He's like, look, people desperately want change. The entire fiction
- 4:06Speaker 3: of your campaign is you're the change candidate, except for
- 4:08Speaker 3: the fact that you're in the incumbent administration, and every
- 4:11Speaker 3: other vice president in history who's run for election has
- 4:14Speaker 3: run on continuity, continue the success as well. You know
- 4:18Speaker 3: that the successes are very few and that the record
- 4:20Speaker 3: is a train wreck. So you want change because people
- 4:23Speaker 3: aren't happy with your disastrous record. So what would you
- 4:26Speaker 3: change now? Now that actually to call that a softball
- 4:29Speaker 3: is an insult to softballs. That's a t ball, that's
- 4:34Speaker 3: a kickball.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It's a setup, though, Like we need to just be
- 4:37Speaker 2: intellectually honest about this, Like this is a clear we
- 4:40Speaker 2: need to redo.
- 4:41Speaker 1: We're going to use.
- 4:42Speaker 3: But I gotta say, I don't know if if her
- 4:46Speaker 3: campaign is just miserably incompetent or she is or both,
- 4:52Speaker 3: But for a setup, that may be the worst answer
- 4:54Speaker 3: I've ever heard. Because she talks. I mean, the phrase
- 4:57Speaker 3: word salad has used a lot. She says, well, the changes,
- 5:01Speaker 3: I'm not Joe Biden. Oh okay, and I'm not Donald Trump.
- 5:05Speaker 3: That that's the whole change. And then I love What
- 5:07Speaker 3: else is the change? The next thing she says, I
- 5:09Speaker 3: love America. Yeah, oh my goodness. So your position is
- 5:14Speaker 3: Joe Biden doesn't love America. That's the change. She literally says,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I love America. That's the change, unlike those evil, mean
- 5:23Speaker 3: bastards that aren't me well.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And the other thing is they try to humanize her.
- 5:27Speaker 2: She cracked open a beer with Stephen Colbert and that guy,
- 5:31Speaker 2: like a full segment on CNN which was hysterical. And
- 5:35Speaker 2: then you go back to what she actually says, and
- 5:39Speaker 2: the Vice President of the United States of America said,
- 5:41Speaker 2: and I want you to listen for this. The American
- 5:44Speaker 2: dream right now is really elusive. Is she trying to
- 5:47Speaker 2: write another ad for Donald Trump?
- 5:49Speaker 6: Listen?
- 5:49Speaker 5: The American dream right now is really elusive for far
- 5:53Speaker 5: too many people in terms of even aspiring to own
- 5:56Speaker 5: a home. It's too expensive. We don't have enough housing.
- 5:59Speaker 5: We have a housing So part of my plan is
- 6:01Speaker 5: to work with the private sector, with builders and developers,
- 6:04Speaker 5: to build three million more homes by the end of
- 6:06Speaker 5: my first term and to give first time home buyers
- 6:09Speaker 5: a twenty five thousand dollars down payment assistance so they
- 6:14Speaker 5: can just get their foot in the door to home ownership,
- 6:17Speaker 5: which is the fastest and the most efficient way for
- 6:20Speaker 5: people to build intergenerational wealth. These are the ways that
- 6:23Speaker 5: I think about how we build up our country in
- 6:27Speaker 5: a way that is about supporting the middle class. I
- 6:30Speaker 5: come from the middle class. I'm never going to forget
- 6:32Speaker 5: where I come from.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I love it. Middle class is apparently really tough for her.
- 6:36Speaker 2: If you know her history, you kind of got to
- 6:38Speaker 2: roll your eyes at that. But this idea, she says,
- 6:42Speaker 2: everything's bad right now, far too many people in turns
- 6:44Speaker 2: even aspiring to own a house because there's not enough houses. Well,
- 6:47Speaker 2: why is that because the illegal immigrants you've llowed into
- 6:50Speaker 2: this country by the tens of millions.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Well, of course Colbert pressed back with that, right.
- 6:55Speaker 2: No, no, no, he did not. They just decided to
- 6:57Speaker 2: drink a beer instead, because that's how you do an interview.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Nowow when it's somebody that no one's voted for, and
- 7:02Speaker 2: we're just, you know, less than thirty days away from
- 7:04Speaker 2: election day, right.
- 7:06Speaker 3: You know, by the way, I will say, I think
- 7:07Speaker 3: it is fitting that that was a comedy show, because
- 7:11Speaker 3: if you recall, in her debate with Donald Trump, the
- 7:15Speaker 3: opening question was elections come down to the question are
- 7:19Speaker 3: you better off now than you were four years ago?
- 7:22Speaker 3: And so, Madame Vice President, are the American people better
- 7:25Speaker 3: off now than they were four years ago? And her
- 7:26Speaker 3: answer was I came from the middle class. Like it's
- 7:30Speaker 3: become a punchline because it was such a non sequit,
- 7:35Speaker 3: or she's unable to say yes because the record is
- 7:39Speaker 3: a disaster, and so she just she has this talking
- 7:43Speaker 3: point and the fact that at a comedy show she
- 7:46Speaker 3: goes back to what I come from the middle class.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Apparently some focus group somewhere told her that was a
- 7:51Speaker 3: good thing to say, and she don't have anything else
- 7:54Speaker 3: to say.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Send her two quick things I want to bring up
- 7:57Speaker 2: and dealt with foreign policy. Harris has refused to directly
- 8:03Speaker 2: answer if net and Yahoo is a ally of our country.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Here's what she said in the sixty minutes interview that
- 8:11Speaker 2: was shocking as well.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Do we have a real close ally in Prime Minister
- 8:19Speaker 7: of NT and Yahoo?
- 8:20Speaker 5: I think, with all due respect, the better question is
- 8:23Speaker 5: do we have an important alliance between the American people
- 8:28Speaker 5: and the Israeli people? And the answer to that question
- 8:31Speaker 5: is yes.
- 8:33Speaker 2: So she throws our relationship with a leader that was
- 8:37Speaker 2: elected by the people in Israel net Yahoo under the bus,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and she clearly is saying there is separation between me
- 8:45Speaker 2: and net and Yahoo and Israel. She had to make
- 8:49Speaker 2: that comment, I think in her mind to keep the
- 8:52Speaker 2: radicals that are anti Jewish, anti Semites who support Hesbalah
- 8:59Speaker 2: and Hamas on her side. That's why she was so
- 9:02Speaker 2: I think careful with their words are to say I's
- 9:04Speaker 2: not my guy. I mean, I'm fine with Israel, but
- 9:07Speaker 2: not him.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Well, look, she clearly hates Benjamin Netnaho, and that that's
- 9:12Speaker 3: true of this entire White House. It's true of Joe Biden,
- 9:15Speaker 3: It's true of most of the Democrats. And remember Kamala Harris,
- 9:19Speaker 3: as the sitting Vice President, boycotted net Yahoo's speech to
- 9:22Speaker 3: a joint session of Congress. I was there sitting on
- 9:25Speaker 3: the floor of the House Prime Minister Natnah who gave
- 9:27Speaker 3: an extraordinary address. And you know, the vice president. You know,
- 9:32Speaker 3: the old line is it's a job that's not worth
- 9:34Speaker 3: a bucket of spit. But among the very few responsibilities
- 9:40Speaker 3: of the vice president are to sit and preside on
- 9:43Speaker 3: a joint session of Congress, to sit your rear end
- 9:45Speaker 3: down in that chair while someone addresses a joint session
- 9:49Speaker 3: of Congress. Well, she loathes Prime Minister net Yaho so
- 9:53Speaker 3: much she refused to attend. And so her answer, does
- 9:57Speaker 3: she consider net Yaho an ally?
- 9:59Speaker 5: No?
- 10:00Speaker 3: And frankly she can barely bring herself to describe Israel
- 10:04Speaker 3: as an ally. Listen, there is a growing pro Hamas
- 10:10Speaker 3: wing of the Democrat Party, and Kamala Harris clearly wants
- 10:13Speaker 3: their vote. She wants the votes in Dearborn, Michigan. She
- 10:16Speaker 3: wants the votes of the radicals, the anti semits on
- 10:19Speaker 3: college campuses. And I got to say, and we should
- 10:21Speaker 3: wrap up on this. I want to play the answer
- 10:26Speaker 3: she gave when it when asked about Israel on sixty minutes,
- 10:31Speaker 3: the actual answer she gave, and then I want us
- 10:34Speaker 3: to play what sixty minutes aired, because we mentioned before
- 10:39Speaker 3: the phrase word salad. This word salad answer is truly remarkable.
- 10:43Speaker 3: And so let's play initially what she said in the
- 10:47Speaker 3: actual interview, and then we'll go to what they are.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And then the sixty minute fabulous edit. That's the only
- 10:52Speaker 2: way to describe it. It's we they knew it was bad,
- 10:55Speaker 2: so let's fix it. Here it is, But it seems
- 10:58Speaker 2: that Prime Minister Netanya, who is not listening.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted
- 11:08Speaker 5: in a number of movements in that region by Israel
- 11:13Speaker 5: that were very much prompted by or a result of
- 11:19Speaker 5: many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen
- 11:23Speaker 5: in the region.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Now, that is the original answer, all right, So it
- 11:28Speaker 2: was twenty seven seconds long.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So they tweeted that out before the interview aired, so
- 11:34Speaker 3: it was public in twitter verse, and people were vicious
- 11:39Speaker 3: in mocking it because it's so lacking in content. It
- 11:43Speaker 3: doesn't say anything. So here's what's seeing what sixty minutes
- 11:47Speaker 3: actually aired.
- 11:49Speaker 6: But it seems that Prime Minister Netanya, who is not listening, we.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for
- 11:57Speaker 5: the United States to be clear about where we stand
- 11:59Speaker 5: on the need for this war to end.
- 12:02Speaker 2: That's a completely different answer.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Holy cow, Look listen, that's not sixty minutes. That's like
- 12:09Speaker 3: fifty seven minutes. And it makes you wonder what else
- 12:13Speaker 3: did they edit out? What other answers did she give?
- 12:18Speaker 3: That the sixty minute producers bury their head in their
- 12:21Speaker 3: hands and said, oh no, if people see this, they're
- 12:24Speaker 3: not going to vote for and we need her to
- 12:26Speaker 3: vote for Now. Look, I'm going to be mixed in
- 12:30Speaker 3: my commentary in sixty minutes because I will say, at
- 12:32Speaker 3: least they asked the question on quadrupling the number of
- 12:35Speaker 3: illegal immigrants, that was important, and her refusal to answer
- 12:41Speaker 3: it was important, so they didn't edit that out. But
- 12:44Speaker 3: on Israel, they just couldn't stomach letting her answer stand
- 12:48Speaker 3: on its own merits, and they tried to help her
- 12:50Speaker 3: out and they actually got caught, which I got to say,
- 12:54Speaker 3: I think has done real damage to their credibility going forward.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this
- 12:58Speaker 2: conversation and go back and listen to the full podcast
- 13:02Speaker 2: from earlier this week, now onto story number two.
- 13:06Speaker 3: You need to understand the ideological rot that has infused
- 13:11Speaker 3: so much of our elite academy. And by the way,
- 13:15Speaker 3: it's been a year since October seventh. Have you noticed
- 13:19Speaker 3: the protests on the campus. They're not springing up organically,
- 13:23Speaker 3: they're not spontaneous. Am I the only one who's noticed
- 13:26Speaker 3: that the tenents all match? There is real money funding
- 13:31Speaker 3: these anti Israel, anti Semitic anti American protests, and that
- 13:36Speaker 3: money is coming from Iran, that money is coming from Cutter,
- 13:40Speaker 3: and that money is coming from prominent leftists in this
- 13:45Speaker 3: country who are also funding prominent politicians in this country.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I want to ask you, in a year, has there
- 13:51Speaker 3: been a single investigation by the Department of Justice or
- 13:54Speaker 3: the FBI to follow the money. Under Title six of
- 13:58Speaker 3: our Civil Rights law, university cannot create an environment that
- 14:02Speaker 3: is threatening to the safety of a student based on
- 14:05Speaker 3: race or ethnicity. Has there been a single university in
- 14:09Speaker 3: America who's had their federal funding cut off because they
- 14:13Speaker 3: refuse to protect Jewish students on campus. Answers, No, not one.
- 14:17Speaker 3: That's not an accident. We need a Department of Justice
- 14:20Speaker 3: that stands with our students. By the way, I will
- 14:24Speaker 3: note the protesters that were arrested in University of Texas,
- 14:27Speaker 3: roughly half of them had no connection to ut They
- 14:30Speaker 3: weren't students there. They just came in to agitate and
- 14:35Speaker 3: threaten violence. The same was true at Columbia, the same
- 14:38Speaker 3: was true at FORDOM that when people have been arrested,
- 14:41Speaker 3: about half of them are either radical Islamist or Marxists,
- 14:44Speaker 3: or just anti.
- 14:45Speaker 1: American paid violent thugs.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Clarity matters, and by the way, I will say that
- 14:52Speaker 3: clarity is not entirely delineated on partisan bases. I will
- 14:57Speaker 3: say one of the most astonishing things to me has
- 15:00Speaker 3: the courage my colleague John Fetterman has shown on this topic.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I'll confess, when Senator Fetterman was elected from Pennsylvania, I
- 15:07Speaker 3: had no reason to anticipate that he would show that
- 15:10Speaker 3: kind of courage.
- 15:11Speaker 1: But he has been astonishing.
- 15:13Speaker 3: And I will say, when giving a commencement address, when
- 15:16Speaker 3: he removed his hood from Harvard University as a fellow
- 15:20Speaker 3: Harvard grad, I was proud that he was willing to
- 15:24Speaker 3: stand up to the shameful behavior of his in my
- 15:26Speaker 3: Alma mon. Clarity is an opportunity for everyone on each
- 15:32Speaker 3: and every day to decide where do I stand. There
- 15:35Speaker 3: is a second enormously beneficial outcome of the horror and
- 15:41Speaker 3: evil that was October seventh, which is that Israel has
- 15:44Speaker 3: stated its commitment to utterly and completely eliminate Hamas and
- 15:49Speaker 3: now eliminate Hesbelah. And I have to say, eliminating Hamas
- 15:54Speaker 3: and eliminating Hesbela is unquestionably in the national security interest
- 15:59Speaker 3: of Israel and unquestionably in the national security interest of America,
- 16:03Speaker 3: and US policy should very simply be, we stand unequivocally
- 16:08Speaker 3: with Israel for as long as it takes. I listened
- 16:13Speaker 3: to colleagues of mine in the Senate in the House
- 16:16Speaker 3: for their only response to what happens at Israel is
- 16:20Speaker 3: we need a cease fire.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Now.
- 16:22Speaker 3: What is it that leads American politicians to say our
- 16:27Speaker 3: view should be, please, please, please stop killing the terrorists.
- 16:31Speaker 3: When I got on Southwest Airlines this morning and flew
- 16:34Speaker 3: from Houston to Dallas to come here today, a woman
- 16:36Speaker 3: standing in the line came up to me and said, please,
- 16:39Speaker 3: we need to cease fire now, on the one year
- 16:42Speaker 3: anniversary of October seventh. I'll tell you, month after month
- 16:46Speaker 3: after month, every Saturday morning at seven am, I had
- 16:50Speaker 3: anti Israel, anti Semitic protesters in my front lawn, screaming, yelling,
- 16:56Speaker 3: ringing cowbells, blowing whistles, screaming at splitives at the top
- 17:01Speaker 3: of their lungs, waking up my daughters, waking up my
- 17:04Speaker 3: neighbors and their young children, week after week after week.
- 17:09Speaker 3: And I'll tell you when I encounter, as I do
- 17:12Speaker 3: with some regularity, people on airplanes who will yell at me,
- 17:16Speaker 3: we need to cease fire now, and I ask them, really,
- 17:20Speaker 3: tell me, why is it that you side with genocidal
- 17:24Speaker 3: maniacs carrying out Nazi ends.
- 17:27Speaker 1: How do you look at what happened.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And say the murderers and rapists are the ones we
- 17:32Speaker 3: stand with. But part of it is a lot of
- 17:34Speaker 3: people are lied to. They don't know the truth they
- 17:37Speaker 3: are being told. The victims in our definition, are the
- 17:41Speaker 3: good and the oppressors are the evil. That's why that
- 17:44Speaker 3: clarity needs to continue. I will say, if you look
- 17:49Speaker 3: at Israel's distribution of pagers, I've got to say that
- 17:55Speaker 3: as one of the most extraordinary intelligence and military operations
- 18:00Speaker 3: ever seen. When I saw it on the news. When
- 18:02Speaker 3: I read about it, it read like a James Bond novel.
- 18:07Speaker 3: If you, I don't know if any of y'all are
- 18:09Speaker 3: fans of the show Fouta, Fouda is phenomenal. If you
- 18:12Speaker 3: tried to write it in a plot of Fouta, they
- 18:14Speaker 3: wouldn't publish it because they would have said, this is ridiculous.
- 18:18Speaker 1: And I will say, is what was truly elegant.
- 18:24Speaker 3: About it is the people who received the pagers were
- 18:29Speaker 3: decided by the leadership of Hesbela. The leaders of Hesbelas said,
- 18:34Speaker 3: all right, you are enough of a genocidal murderer that
- 18:37Speaker 3: I want you on page. They selected every person.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And then they got their page.
- 18:46Speaker 3: And then a few days later they said, let's go
- 18:48Speaker 3: to walkie talkies, and the walkie talkies blew up. And
- 18:52Speaker 3: then at the head of hesbel has said, let's go
- 18:54Speaker 3: to a basement bunker and meet in person. And then
- 18:57Speaker 3: the basement bunker blew up. And if you want to
- 19:00Speaker 3: understand where someone stands, look to their reaction to that.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Let me tell you, I think it is beautiful that
- 19:07Speaker 3: psychopathic terrorists are terrified now to pick up the phone
- 19:11Speaker 3: and pick up the pager and go meet with another terrorist.
- 19:14Speaker 3: That is unequivocally good for Israel and America. We are
- 19:20Speaker 3: saying forces across the globe arrayed against the people of Israel.
- 19:24Speaker 3: And I will tell you, in particular, if you want
- 19:27Speaker 3: to prevent another October seventh, if you want to save
- 19:32Speaker 3: innocent lives in Israel and America, then you've got to
- 19:36Speaker 3: start by focusing on the nation of Iran.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Iran is the head of the stake.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I will say, in the last four years, the US
- 19:45Speaker 3: government has funneled over one hundred billion dollars to Iran.
- 19:54Speaker 3: We all know about the six billion that got the
- 19:56Speaker 3: most attention. That was six billion in ransom for five Americans.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I and many others at the time said that's a
- 20:02Speaker 3: terrible policy. It will only encourage more Americans to be
- 20:06Speaker 3: taken hostage. It effectively puts a bounty of one point
- 20:09Speaker 3: two billion per hostage. Tragically, when we said that, I
- 20:13Speaker 3: didn't realize it would be just a couple of months
- 20:15Speaker 3: before we would see more Americans taken hostage. Some of
- 20:17Speaker 3: you may also know about the ten billion in funds
- 20:20Speaker 3: that were frozen in Iraq from electricity receipts that the
- 20:24Speaker 3: administration unfroze to flow to Iran. Both of those, however,
- 20:30Speaker 3: pale in comparison to the real source of revenue. Iran
- 20:34Speaker 3: derives the bulk of its revenue from oil and gas sales.
- 20:39Speaker 3: When Joe Biden and Kamala Harris came into office four
- 20:41Speaker 3: years ago, Iran was at the time selling roughly three
- 20:45Speaker 3: hundred thousand barrels of oil a day. That was a
- 20:48Speaker 3: consequence of the previous administration vigorously enforcing oil sanctions. I
- 20:54Speaker 3: had spent hundreds of hours urging President Trump to vigorously
- 20:59Speaker 3: enforce oil oil sanctions on Iran. He did so, and
- 21:02Speaker 3: their oil sales plummeted from a million barrels a day
- 21:06Speaker 3: to three hundred thousand in January of twenty twenty one.
- 21:10Speaker 3: The Iranian economy was in shambles, the Iranian regime was
- 21:15Speaker 3: teetering and near collapse, and the current administration came in
- 21:19Speaker 3: and immediately stopped enforcing those oil sanctions. What are the
- 21:24Speaker 3: consequences of that? Iran's oil sales went from three hundred
- 21:28Speaker 3: thousand barrels a day where they were in January of
- 21:30Speaker 3: twenty twenty one.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Do you know what they are today?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Roughly two million barrels of oil a day, primarily sold
- 21:39Speaker 3: to communist China. What is the delta between three hundred
- 21:43Speaker 3: thousand barrels a day and two million barrels a day.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It is more than eighty billion dollars that came in
- 21:51Speaker 3: like a lifeline.
- 21:52Speaker 1: To save the regime.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I told you this is a battle between good and evil.
- 21:57Speaker 3: The Ayatola Kameine is unambiguous evil. He leads mobs in
- 22:03Speaker 3: chants of death to Israel and death to America. Now,
- 22:08Speaker 3: if history teaches anything It is that when somebody tells
- 22:11Speaker 3: you they want to kill you, believe them. And you
- 22:15Speaker 3: need to understand this is not just a threat to Israel.
- 22:19Speaker 3: There is a reason the Ayatola refers to Israel as
- 22:23Speaker 3: the little.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Satan and America as the great Satan.
- 22:27Speaker 3: The enemies of Israel are enemies of America.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Those who hate Jews hate Christians.
- 22:34Speaker 3: And I have to say, if any sanity comes from
- 22:39Speaker 3: the aftermath of October seventh, it is that we should
- 22:43Speaker 3: agree to come together and cut off all of the
- 22:47Speaker 3: funds for Iran. Two statistics that are important to know.
- 22:52Speaker 3: Over ninety percent of the funding for Hamas comes from Iran.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Over ninety percent of the funding for Hesbola comes from Iran.
- 23:04Speaker 3: If you are giving one hundred billion dollars to Iran,
- 23:08Speaker 3: you are giving the money to the terrorist who are
- 23:10Speaker 3: committing these atrocities. I gotta say, regardless of your politics,
- 23:15Speaker 3: it should not be a complicated proposition to say, do
- 23:20Speaker 3: not give money to people who want to murder you.
- 23:25Speaker 3: And yet somehow in Washington that's deemed a controversial statement.
- 23:29Speaker 2: As before, if you want to hear the rest of
- 23:31Speaker 2: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 23:34Speaker 2: dow the podcast from earlier this week to hear the
- 23:36Speaker 2: entire thing. I want to get back to the big story,
- 23:40Speaker 2: number three of the week.
- 23:41Speaker 7: You may have missed if you're listening to this right
- 23:44Speaker 7: now or you're watching this. When you think about going
- 23:46Speaker 7: from fifty thousand dollars race to a million dollars against you,
- 23:51Speaker 7: that's a political assassination on your career. That's saying we're
- 23:56Speaker 7: just going to buy a winner and make sure you're
- 23:59Speaker 7: a loser, because that's how much we want to punish
- 24:01Speaker 7: you and make sure everybody else stays in line.
- 24:03Speaker 8: Exactly I always held, folks, it was literally to make
- 24:06Speaker 8: an example out of me and to warn others don't
- 24:09Speaker 8: get any right ideas. Don't stand up there and speak
- 24:12Speaker 8: out and tell the truth for your constituents, because we
- 24:15Speaker 8: will seawan theory you and put over a million dollars
- 24:18Speaker 8: in your race. But I said it on the house floor,
- 24:22Speaker 8: you know, I always say sunlight is the best disinfectant, Senator,
- 24:26Speaker 8: And so I did rip the lid off of it,
- 24:28Speaker 8: and I exposed the harms, and I exposed the hypocrisy.
- 24:31Speaker 8: You talked about eighteen being such a reasonable age. Every
- 24:35Speaker 8: policy that the Democrats put forth is usually to raise
- 24:38Speaker 8: the age.
- 24:39Speaker 6: This is the.
- 24:39Speaker 8: Only area where not only do they not want to
- 24:43Speaker 8: set the age, they want no age. If they want
- 24:46Speaker 8: to raise the age from eighteen to twenty one for
- 24:48Speaker 8: it to have a gun. We raise the age from
- 24:51Speaker 8: eighteen to twenty one to buy tobacco cigarettes, which everyone
- 24:54Speaker 8: you know agreed. We raise the age from eighteen to
- 24:57Speaker 8: twenty one to work in a sexually oriented business. We
- 25:02Speaker 8: have acknowledged. They said they're the party of science. They
- 25:05Speaker 8: said the frontal lobe of the brain is not developed
- 25:07Speaker 8: until almost twenty five. Yeah, Why on earth are Democrats saying,
- 25:12Speaker 8: as you said, very well, Sinner, that a child as
- 25:15Speaker 8: young as nine, who hasn't even entered puberty has the
- 25:20Speaker 8: capacity to sign away their future in terms of being
- 25:24Speaker 8: castrated and sterilized.
- 25:25Speaker 6: What is this?
- 25:27Speaker 3: So tell us the sort of things.
- 25:31Speaker 1: What did your then.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Fellow Democrats say to you as this is all going down.
- 25:35Speaker 3: What sort of conversation did y'all have?
- 25:38Speaker 6: Well, I guess the.
- 25:38Speaker 8: Cat kind of got out of the bag that there
- 25:41Speaker 8: was a potential dissident who wasn't going along with the program,
- 25:46Speaker 8: and so they started pulling me to the side. Usually
- 25:48Speaker 8: in like groups, of three, then groups of six and
- 25:52Speaker 8: telling me, you know, Sean, what's going on here?
- 25:55Speaker 7: A lot of these are your friends, right, I mean
- 25:56Speaker 7: these are they?
- 25:58Speaker 6: They're colleagues, colleagues, some friends.
- 26:03Speaker 8: The friends were the ones that really just came with
- 26:05Speaker 8: the warning that said, Sean, listen, because I was pulling
- 26:08Speaker 8: out papers and showing what lupron does, showing that it
- 26:10Speaker 8: causes early onset osteoporosis, and that some of these cross.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Sex weren't tell our viewers and listeners what is lupron?
- 26:19Speaker 1: So give some of those tatas sure.
- 26:20Speaker 5: So.
- 26:20Speaker 8: Lupron is the drug that they want to give children
- 26:23Speaker 8: in America to stop them from gordon to puberty. It
- 26:27Speaker 8: is prescribed for men who who have prostate cancer. It
- 26:32Speaker 8: is a chemotherapy drug. Wow, this is a drug we
- 26:36Speaker 8: are giving children that do not have cancer. The only
- 26:40Speaker 8: other use for it. It gets even grosser that they
- 26:44Speaker 8: want to give it to children. This drug is given
- 26:46Speaker 8: as a chemical castration drug to child rapists, to pedophiles.
- 26:51Speaker 7: And they're giving it to kids because they say are
- 26:55Speaker 7: the parents say they want to transition at the eight
- 26:58Speaker 7: or nine or ten way.
- 27:00Speaker 3: If the kids when they get older, they change their
- 27:02Speaker 3: mind much of this is irreversible. If you have a
- 27:07Speaker 3: teenage girl who has a double missectomy, you don't get
- 27:11Speaker 3: your breast back. That's right, that's right, that's been and forever.
- 27:15Speaker 6: It's too late. And that's what the loopron is for.
- 27:17Speaker 8: It is to put you on the trajectory for a
- 27:20Speaker 8: sex change, to make it easier, because if your body
- 27:22Speaker 8: never develops in the first place, it's that much easier
- 27:26Speaker 8: to start mutilating and amputating body parts. So I started
- 27:30Speaker 8: to meet Now you talked about transitioning. There's a group
- 27:33Speaker 8: of young people called d transitioners. These were the kids
- 27:37Speaker 8: there are now many of them are grown that went
- 27:40Speaker 8: through this, that have deep regret, and they visited the
- 27:44Speaker 8: Capitol as well. Unfortunately, their voices were shut out by
- 27:48Speaker 8: these radical activists and they didn't want us to listen
- 27:51Speaker 8: to these kids.
- 27:52Speaker 6: Wow.
- 27:52Speaker 8: I met a young lady who had a double missectomy
- 27:56Speaker 8: and a full hysterectomy. She's only twenty six. Wow, she said,
- 28:01Speaker 8: rip theory, crying in the hallway to me, I have
- 28:04Speaker 8: the biological profile now of a seventy two year old woman, she.
- 28:08Speaker 7: Said, biological profile is seventies woman.
- 28:11Speaker 6: She's in full full mint pause. She's twenty four.
- 28:14Speaker 8: She said, my bone, my bones hurt me so badly.
- 28:18Speaker 8: She was on so much testosterone. So now she said,
- 28:22Speaker 8: I realized I never really wanted to be a boy.
- 28:26Speaker 8: She said, I was love bombed. And I said, tell
- 28:29Speaker 8: me more about that. And she said, I was a
- 28:31Speaker 8: lonely child, a girl. She said, I think I'm gay.
- 28:35Speaker 8: She said, but I don't want to be a man.
- 28:37Speaker 8: And she said, but I watched a lot of YouTube
- 28:40Speaker 8: and she met these transgender ideologists who love bombed her.
- 28:45Speaker 8: And then she told her mom. Her mom was scared.
- 28:48Speaker 8: She took her to her gender clinic somewhere outside of Austin.
- 28:53Speaker 8: Despite what they tell you, she said, in thirty minutes,
- 28:56Speaker 8: they had a letter authorizing for her to get on
- 28:59Speaker 8: all of these hormones.
- 29:01Speaker 7: Wow, thirty minutes. And they always say that there's all
- 29:04Speaker 7: this profiling that's done in all these interviews and mental
- 29:08Speaker 7: you know, they look at everything. Thirty minutes. Here's your letter,
- 29:11Speaker 7: go change sex of a child.
- 29:14Speaker 8: Absolutely, And Senator, here's the part that really got me.
- 29:18Speaker 8: She said that they told her mother because her mom
- 29:20Speaker 8: thought she was doing the right thing. Her mom wasn't
- 29:22Speaker 8: one of those women that was pushing it on her kid.
- 29:26Speaker 8: You can either have a dead daughter or a living
- 29:30Speaker 8: son threatening her mother that she would kill herself, and
- 29:33Speaker 8: she said I never said that.
- 29:35Speaker 6: She said she goes.
- 29:36Speaker 8: But then I started to believe that. And so when
- 29:39Speaker 8: I was talking to the D Transitioners, they even took
- 29:42Speaker 8: a photo of me, I think it's on Twitter somewhere,
- 29:44Speaker 8: and it said, look at rep theory, you know meeting
- 29:47Speaker 8: with these They called the D Transitioners a hate group.
- 29:51Speaker 6: These are else.
- 29:52Speaker 7: They're saying, We've already done this, listened to us, and
- 29:56Speaker 7: then they call them a hate group.
- 29:57Speaker 8: Yeah, that I was meeting with a hate group was
- 30:00Speaker 8: anti lgbt key.
- 30:02Speaker 3: It's amazing is there's no compassion for these kids and
- 30:07Speaker 3: the life altering decisions that I think in many instances
- 30:11Speaker 3: it's adults who are foisting it on them. So let
- 30:15Speaker 3: me ask you, if you listen to the media, if
- 30:18Speaker 3: you listen to the conventional wisdom, Republicans are a bunch
- 30:23Speaker 3: of intolerant bigots. You were a four time elected Democrat representative,
- 30:31Speaker 3: you flipped over to the Republican Party. What has the
- 30:36Speaker 3: reaction on both sides been and what have you what
- 30:38Speaker 3: have you found?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Well?
- 30:40Speaker 8: The reaction was one very welcoming, from the Governor of Texas,
- 30:45Speaker 8: to the Speaker of the House, to all of my colleagues,
- 30:48Speaker 8: to just regular folks writing me on Facebook and in
- 30:51Speaker 8: boxing me and saying welcome rep Theory, Praise God.
- 30:55Speaker 6: You know, we're so grateful to have you.
- 30:57Speaker 8: So there was none of this boogeyman and racism that
- 31:01Speaker 8: people the Democrat Party is using to fear monger I
- 31:04Speaker 8: think half of America. But I knew that because I
- 31:08Speaker 8: served with this folks, and you know, all of this
- 31:12Speaker 8: talk of calling people biggs and Nazis and white supremacists.
- 31:18Speaker 8: It was always so bizarre to me because I would
- 31:20Speaker 8: sit with my colleagues who were seeing those things, and
- 31:23Speaker 8: they would be in the member's lounge five minutes later
- 31:26Speaker 8: sharing ice cream with these very folks that they were
- 31:29Speaker 8: calling Nazis. And then they actually started calling.
- 31:32Speaker 6: Me a Nazi.
- 31:32Speaker 8: And I'm like me, I'm a black woman, I'm not okay,
- 31:36Speaker 8: I'm a Nazi now, So Cinata, I knew, you know
- 31:39Speaker 8: that that was just a bunch of crazy talk.
- 31:42Speaker 6: The Democrats had been.
- 31:44Speaker 8: Like I said, from the moment I stood up on
- 31:46Speaker 8: that bill, I started getting death threats the night before
- 31:50Speaker 8: as the cat got let out the bag, that rep
- 31:52Speaker 8: theory is probably going to vote in favor of setting
- 31:56Speaker 8: it in.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Did any other Democrats crossover? And both of the film.
- 31:59Speaker 8: Three others, three others, so four and they told me
- 32:04Speaker 8: each one of them said they would not have done
- 32:06Speaker 8: it but for hearing my speech. I gave a twelve
- 32:09Speaker 8: minute speech on the house floor. I think it's on YouTube.
- 32:11Speaker 3: And it's gone viral.
- 32:12Speaker 6: It went viral.
- 32:13Speaker 8: The letter I wrote explaining it got over two and
- 32:15Speaker 8: a half million views on Twitter.
- 32:17Speaker 6: But if you.
- 32:18Speaker 8: Watch it, my hands were shaking, my voice was cracking
- 32:22Speaker 8: because I was so sleep deprived because for days, you know,
- 32:26Speaker 8: they had just been harassing me and pounding me and
- 32:29Speaker 8: threatening me and trying to change my mind.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Just like a cult.
- 32:34Speaker 8: And there was one colleague who you said, who could
- 32:37Speaker 8: be a friend. And I remember he pulled me to
- 32:39Speaker 8: the side and he said to me, Sean, hold your nose.
- 32:45Speaker 8: You better hold your nose and vote with us if
- 32:48Speaker 8: you want to make it back here. And I just
- 32:50Speaker 8: looked him in the face and said, I can't do that.
- 32:55Speaker 6: I can't do it.
- 32:56Speaker 7: A lot of people listening are going to ask, are
- 32:58Speaker 7: you a cautionary tale? Are you safe now in your
- 33:01Speaker 7: elected position. What's the end of the story for your
- 33:05Speaker 7: career when it comes to this position that clearly you
- 33:07Speaker 7: won four times?
- 33:09Speaker 8: Well, I did not win my seat for reelection. I
- 33:12Speaker 8: went to a run off.
- 33:12Speaker 7: The question that everybody listening right now is like, what happened?
- 33:15Speaker 3: They beat her in the Democrat primary with a million
- 33:18Speaker 3: dollars worked.
- 33:19Speaker 8: They found a candidate who said she was a dual
- 33:22Speaker 8: identity queer black woman that had never run for office.
- 33:26Speaker 8: I'd never seen her in the district one time, volunteering,
- 33:29Speaker 8: doing anything.
- 33:29Speaker 6: It never served.
- 33:30Speaker 8: Put the money behind that candidate, and even though nobody
- 33:33Speaker 8: knew her, she she won. However, I always say there's
- 33:37Speaker 8: a comma, not a period there, okay, As I said again,
- 33:42Speaker 8: that's a temporary pit stop.
- 33:46Speaker 6: My dad who passed away, I share it. We were
- 33:48Speaker 6: talking about our fathers.
- 33:49Speaker 8: When we sat down and talked, and before my dad
- 33:52Speaker 8: passed away, it must have been very fratuitous of him
- 33:54Speaker 8: for no reason at all. He was in the hospital
- 33:57Speaker 8: and he looked at me and he said, Jehan, I
- 33:59Speaker 8: want you to promise me. It was like, of course, daddy,
- 34:02Speaker 8: and he said, don't ever let the power and the
- 34:06Speaker 8: prestige of the position cause you to sell your soul
- 34:09Speaker 8: aimen to that, and I didn't, and I stay with that.
- 34:14Speaker 8: So I think people need to look at it and say,
- 34:16Speaker 8: you can survive it. I'm still here. They censored me,
- 34:21Speaker 8: but they did not silence me. So I think that
- 34:24Speaker 8: the good news is you can survive it. I've switched
- 34:27Speaker 8: parties not because I'm so much politically ambitious, but because
- 34:30Speaker 8: I'm a citizen. I'm an American, and I want to
- 34:33Speaker 8: do it's right for our country. And so now I'm
- 34:35Speaker 8: speaking out. I'm using whatever platform I have to educate
- 34:39Speaker 8: Americans and Senator so many folks, and I'll even say
- 34:43Speaker 8: African American voters have come to me and said, Rep. Fiery,
- 34:46Speaker 8: if only I had known, I didn't even know the
- 34:49Speaker 8: Democrat Party was up to this.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Well, Sean, thank you for your courage and thank you
- 34:54Speaker 3: for sharing your story. Stories are powerful. A lot of
- 34:57Speaker 3: what we try to do on this podcast tell stories,
- 35:00Speaker 3: stories that impact people's lives, stories that are reality. As
- 35:04Speaker 3: you know, the media has their own narrative that they
- 35:07Speaker 3: want to convince people of. And it's part of the
- 35:10Speaker 3: reason we've seen things like podcasts grow so much is
- 35:13Speaker 3: people are hungry for the truth, and so I appreciate
- 35:16Speaker 3: you coming and joining us and thank you for standing up.
- 35:19Speaker 2: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Center
