- 0:00Speaker 1: There are some crisises in America and in the world
- 0:03Speaker 1: that are unavoidable, and there are some crisises that are
- 0:07Speaker 1: absolutely avoidable. There are some crisises that happen that are
- 0:12Speaker 1: actually created by the government. There are others that are not.
- 0:17Speaker 1: An example of a crisis that is unavoidable would be
- 0:20Speaker 1: like nine to eleven, for example. Yes, we had intelligence looking,
- 0:24Speaker 1: but it was still very hard to stop that attack.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We learn from it. Then there's another crisis right now
- 0:29Speaker 1: that we are about to experience, one that we're actually
- 0:33Speaker 1: in the middle of that is totally avoidable, and there
- 0:36Speaker 1: have been warning signs. This crisis is also a crisis
- 0:40Speaker 1: that is one hundred percent a crisis that has been
- 0:45Speaker 1: created by our government, specifically the Biden administration. It is
- 0:51Speaker 1: the diesel fuel disaster. Truckers are now working for peanuts
- 0:57Speaker 1: amid surging gas prices, and many of this small independent
- 1:01Speaker 1: truckers are saying they're gonna have to shut it down.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Why is there a diesel shortage? These are just one
- 1:08Speaker 1: of the One of the headlines that Forbes magazine put out,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and another one said the US diesel shortage is worsening.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Even local news media outlets are now covering this story,
- 1:20Speaker 1: Fox five DC has their headline US diesel suppliers warn
- 1:24Speaker 1: businesses to prepare for shortages and much higher prices. Fleet
- 1:28Speaker 1: Owner has come out with a warning that US diesel
- 1:31Speaker 1: average prices are going to skyrocket. Now, before I get

- 2:42Speaker 1: code Ben. Now. CNBC has a headline the diesel market
- 2:46Speaker 1: is in a perfect storm as prices surge and supply dwindles. Now,
- 2:52Speaker 1: let's just start with that one. Why are the prices surging?
- 2:57Speaker 1: And it's a very simple response. A supply has dwindled
- 3:01Speaker 1: because of American policy and other policies around the world.
- 3:07Speaker 1: There's also a supply chain issue that deals specifically with
- 3:11Speaker 1: the winter months. You see, in the winter months, diesel
- 3:15Speaker 1: is used more. Now, diesel prices have increased thirty three
- 3:20Speaker 1: percent for November deliveries and are expected to go now
- 3:25Speaker 1: even higher. All of this because of the Biden administration.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Diesel supply in the Northeast, The drought stricken Mississippi River
- 3:35Speaker 1: and a potential rail strike are also contributing to higher
- 3:40Speaker 1: fuel demand, which calls for federal government intervention to increase
- 3:44Speaker 1: supply that the Biden administration has made clear they will
- 3:47Speaker 1: not do. We also have a problem with our diesel reserves.
- 3:52Speaker 1: They have not been as low as they are right
- 3:54Speaker 1: now since nineteen fifty one. This, on top of a
- 3:58Speaker 1: ban on Russian products set for next year, will intensify
- 4:03Speaker 1: competition for the fuel. The Department of Home Insecurity also
- 4:07Speaker 1: tells CNBC that Jones Act waiver is required for foreign
- 4:12Speaker 1: tankers are reviewed on a case by case basis, showing
- 4:17Speaker 1: just how bad things are right now when it comes
- 4:20Speaker 1: to our government's mismanagement. Now, I want to make it clear,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I don't believe that this is government mismanagement. This is
- 4:27Speaker 1: all being done by design to force you into all
- 4:30Speaker 1: tournament green energy. This is part of the Biden administration's objective.
- 4:34Speaker 1: This didn't happened by accent. This was done on purpose.
- 4:38Speaker 1: This perfect storm is something that was created by them.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Now it's coming into fruition. I don't believe by the
- 4:45Speaker 1: way that they thought it was going to end or
- 4:48Speaker 1: happened before the midterms. I think they thought it would
- 4:50Speaker 1: happen after the midterms. This is part of the reason
- 4:54Speaker 1: why there's a problem now. I want you to take
- 4:56Speaker 1: a listen to what they had to say about this
- 4:58Speaker 1: perfect storm on the NBC. Pretty much. I mean, you've
- 5:01Speaker 1: got this three point store, but you just like talked
- 5:04Speaker 1: about so what happens here and why it's such a
- 5:07Speaker 1: problem is that we have an acute diesel supplies in
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Northeast, and so when you have the drought strick
- 5:13Speaker 1: in Mississippi and then you have the possibility of a
- 5:16Speaker 1: rail strike, all of this then moves all of the
- 5:20Speaker 1: if you will to trade to the rails, which then
- 5:23Speaker 1: contributes to the higher prices. And diesel inventories, as you
- 5:26Speaker 1: pointed out, are the lowest since nineteen fifty one, and
- 5:29Speaker 1: the greatest shortfall is here in the Northeast, including New
- 5:33Speaker 1: York and New Jersey. Yeah, the Northeast, Let's be honest, Laura,
- 5:38Speaker 1: and the Northeast, we're always the short end of the stick.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I mean, because we're at the end of the stick.
- 5:44Speaker 1: There's no pipelines, refineries aren't coming online. Correct, So now
- 5:48Speaker 1: we look the ships. You did just get some comments
- 5:51Speaker 1: moments ago from the Department of Homeland Security about the
- 5:55Speaker 1: Jones Act. What can you tell us? Sure, So, folks
- 5:58Speaker 1: that don't know what the Jones Act is, it pretty
- 6:00Speaker 1: much prohibits a foreign vessel to go from one US
- 6:03Speaker 1: port to another US port. And so the Homeland Security
- 6:07Speaker 1: they said that they would only grant a waiver if
- 6:10Speaker 1: the Jones to the Jones Act if the proposed shipments
- 6:13Speaker 1: are in the interests of national defense and after CAFO
- 6:17Speaker 1: valuation of an issue. Under the law, waivers that do
- 6:20Speaker 1: not meet the standard must be reviewed by a case
- 6:23Speaker 1: by case basis, meaning that a individual tanker would have
- 6:28Speaker 1: to approach the Department of Homeland Security to see if
- 6:32Speaker 1: they would be allowed to move that critical fuel. Yeah,
- 6:36Speaker 1: that would be an interesting development if that Jones Act,
- 6:39Speaker 1: which a lot of people call outdated, but then we
- 6:41Speaker 1: also still need a US maritime industry. Laura and Laroco,
- 6:44Speaker 1: thank you very much. Important. I mean, this is CNBC
- 6:46Speaker 1: really getting down in the minutia this and the diesel
- 6:49Speaker 1: market is they're saying a perfect storm for this price search.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You've got the supply dwindling ahead of the winter months,
- 6:54Speaker 1: you have the world reacting to this, you have what's
- 6:57Speaker 1: happening in Russia, and we didn't do anything to change. Now,
- 7:01Speaker 1: this is the part where I want you to understand.
- 7:03Speaker 1: This is all these price increases you're seeing of this five, six, seven,
- 7:07Speaker 1: eight dollar gallon diesel around the country, depending on where
- 7:09Speaker 1: you are. None of this happened by accident. Okay, Democrats
- 7:15Speaker 1: were not asleep at the wheel. They knew that this
- 7:18Speaker 1: was happening, and they didn't do anything to change it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Their policies towards Russia, for example, were policies that they
- 7:26Speaker 1: knew we're going to have a supply chain issue down
- 7:29Speaker 1: the road immediately. Since it was their policy right on embargoes,
- 7:34Speaker 1: they should have immediately opped production and made it easier
- 7:38Speaker 1: for production the United States of America. They did not
- 7:41Speaker 1: do that because they knew this was going to happen. Now,
- 7:44Speaker 1: this also comes as the White House is now focused
- 7:49Speaker 1: on a windfall tax, and this morning CNBC came out
- 7:54Speaker 1: and they actually mocked the President of the United States
- 7:57Speaker 1: of America by saying this, I think we're heading towards
- 8:00Speaker 1: a recession. I think that labor seems to have the
- 8:03Speaker 1: upper hand. We have terrible leadership out of Washington. Terrible leadership.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I mean this idea, but with full preface text. How
- 8:09Speaker 1: do you get increased production? They would send the President
- 8:13Speaker 1: Biden to school to learn a little bit about economics.
- 8:16Speaker 1: They need to send President Biden to school to learn
- 8:19Speaker 1: a little bit about economics. Wow, And this is on CNBC.
- 8:23Speaker 1: This is part of the shock of CNBC right now,
- 8:26Speaker 1: because there's no other way to get around this. And
- 8:28Speaker 1: I think they understand that this is so bad now
- 8:32Speaker 1: you can't keep carrying weight for Joe Biden and the Democrats. Now,
- 8:36Speaker 1: this is all not a mistake. This is done on purpose.
- 8:41Speaker 1: This is a perfect storm that was created on purpose.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Go to oil prices dot com, the number one source
- 8:48Speaker 1: for oil and energy news. They have a new headline
- 8:51Speaker 1: right now that says this, the US diesel shortage is worsening.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That's right, the US diesel shortage is worsening. As inventories
- 9:02Speaker 1: crashed to multi year lows. US refiners permanently shut down
- 9:07Speaker 1: some refinery capacity at the start of the pandemic when
- 9:10Speaker 1: fuel demand plunged, and the government did not advocate for
- 9:15Speaker 1: putting that back online. Then you add a diesel shortage
- 9:19Speaker 1: and high diesel prices don't bode well for the global economy,
- 9:22Speaker 1: which could tip us into a bigger recession at some
- 9:25Speaker 1: point quote next year. The article goes on to say
- 9:29Speaker 1: multi year low inventories and constraints on supply or exacerbating
- 9:35Speaker 1: a diesel shortage in the United States, especially on the
- 9:38Speaker 1: East Coast. Diesel demand continues to be strong after recovering
- 9:42Speaker 1: fast from the pandemic slump. That other fuels such as
- 9:45Speaker 1: gasoline has not actually been a strong meaning unleaded to
- 9:50Speaker 1: deplete US inventories, which include diesel and heating oil ahead
- 9:56Speaker 1: of the winter months. They say the fuel crunch is worsening. Quote.
- 10:00Speaker 1: US refining capacity is now lower than it was before
- 10:04Speaker 1: covid as operable refinery capacity shrank in twenty twenty one
- 10:09Speaker 1: for a second consecutive year. We now stand at seventeen
- 10:13Speaker 1: point nine million barrels per calendar day as of January one,
- 10:17Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. That is what the government estimate state.
- 10:21Speaker 1: US refiners permanently shut down some refinery capacity at the
- 10:25Speaker 1: start of the pandemic when fuel demand completely plummeted, and
- 10:29Speaker 1: others closed facilities to convert them into biofuel refineries because
- 10:33Speaker 1: of government mandates and or government incentives. Some refineries were
- 10:40Speaker 1: under maintenance as autumn, reducing the availability of product. In addition,
- 10:44Speaker 1: the US banned imports listened carefully of all Russian energy
- 10:51Speaker 1: products after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and it hasn't
- 10:56Speaker 1: imported any petroleum products from Russia since April. Now, this
- 11:00Speaker 1: is part of the policy that you need to understand.
- 11:03Speaker 1: The Biden administration knew that when they banned the import
- 11:06Speaker 1: of Russian oil that it would have a supply chain impact.
- 11:12Speaker 1: They did not a single thing to make sure that
- 11:17Speaker 1: that supply chain impact was somehow fixed. They didn't have
- 11:24Speaker 1: a single policy that they chose to change and or alter,
- 11:34Speaker 1: not a single policy. Why because they didn't mind you
- 11:40Speaker 1: paying this much for diesel because they hate petroleum products.
- 11:45Speaker 1: But before I get into that part of the story,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I want to tell you a little bit about my
- 11:48Speaker 1: good friends over at Patriot Mobile. If you are ready
- 11:51Speaker 1: to have an impact every time that you use your phone,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and I'm talking about have an impact by supporting First
- 11:58Speaker 1: and Second Amendment rights, aarding the rights of the unborn,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and fighting back every time you make a phone call,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you need to know about Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile is
- 12:07Speaker 1: America's only conservative Christian mobile phone provider, and they are
- 12:13Speaker 1: using your phone bill when you paid every month, to
- 12:17Speaker 1: actually fight for conservative causes while saving you money. Now
- 12:20Speaker 1: this isn't any extra ad onto your bill. They take
- 12:22Speaker 1: a portion of your bill every month and they give
- 12:25Speaker 1: it back to fund conservative causes in Canada, to believe
- 12:30Speaker 1: in the sanctity of life, freedom of speech, and the
- 12:32Speaker 1: Second Amendment, and they are winning Patriot Mobile has now
- 12:37Speaker 1: been attacked by the big media. Big Tech is now
- 12:41Speaker 1: coming after them, and that's why I want you to
- 12:43Speaker 1: support them. If you want an affordable plan and you
- 12:47Speaker 1: want to get the same great coverage you have right now,
- 12:49Speaker 1: switch to Patriot Mobile. You're gonna save money. They use
- 12:52Speaker 1: the same exact towers you're using right now. It's an
- 12:55Speaker 1: affordable plan for you and your family, are even your
- 12:57Speaker 1: business or small business. They offer the same nationwide coverage
- 13:01Speaker 1: as the major carriers because they use the same towers.
- 13:05Speaker 1: If you haven't found out about Patriot Mobile, check them out.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Patriotmobile dot com, slash ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com
- 13:13Speaker 1: slash ferguson. Or call them nine to seven to Patriot
- 13:17Speaker 1: you'll get free activation with the offer code ferguson ninety
- 13:21Speaker 1: seven to Patriot check them out. There are many that
- 13:26Speaker 1: are gonna say, well, hold on a second. The Democrats
- 13:29Speaker 1: couldn't have known that this was coming, that diesel prices
- 13:32Speaker 1: were going to skyrocket, that this isn't somehow a part
- 13:35Speaker 1: of their policies coming to fruition. And I'm going to
- 13:38Speaker 1: prove that that line right now is total crap and
- 13:41Speaker 1: you should never ever believe it. Let me give you
- 13:44Speaker 1: an example. All the way back on five eleven of
- 13:49Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, okay, last year, in the summer of
- 13:54Speaker 1: last year, more than a year ago, there were already
- 13:58Speaker 1: warning signs of the Biden administration policies. This is before
- 14:04Speaker 1: Russia invaded Ukraine. There were warning signs of the green
- 14:09Speaker 1: alternative energy religion they were pushing and what it was
- 14:12Speaker 1: going to do to you at the pump. In fact,
- 14:15Speaker 1: it was documented on Tucker Carlson's show. We went back
- 14:18Speaker 1: and found the clip again from five eleven of twenty
- 14:21Speaker 1: twenty one, more than a year ago. Listen carefully in
- 14:23Speaker 1: engines that we have used for more than a hundred years.
- 14:26Speaker 1: This is a green revolution. So who cares about some
- 14:28Speaker 1: old pipeline. Remember that on his first day in office,
- 14:32Speaker 1: Joe Biden shut down a pipeline. That's the first thing
- 14:34Speaker 1: he did. It was the massive Keystone XL pipeline. Joe
- 14:38Speaker 1: Biden didn't wait for mysterious hackers to shut it down.
- 14:40Speaker 1: He shut it down himself and more than eleven thousand
- 14:43Speaker 1: people lost their jobs. And by the way, gas prices
- 14:46Speaker 1: went up. In case you have a notice, gas prices
- 14:48Speaker 1: have never gone down. In the state of California, the
- 14:51Speaker 1: average price of a gallon of gasoline is over four bucks.
- 14:54Speaker 1: A year ago, it was two seventy. In Illinois, gases
- 14:57Speaker 1: three dollars and twenty cents a gallon. Last year it
- 14:59Speaker 1: was two. It's not just two big liberal states, it's
- 15:03Speaker 1: the entire country. In Texas, gas prices are averaging two
- 15:06Speaker 1: dollars and seventy cents a gallon. Last year it was
- 15:09Speaker 1: a dollar fifty. In the state of Maine, the average
- 15:11Speaker 1: price of gas is almost three dollars a year ago
- 15:14Speaker 1: was under two, and so on. Nationally, Americans are paying
- 15:18Speaker 1: about forty five billion dollars more for gasoline overall than
- 15:21Speaker 1: they were last year. This, by the way, was last year.
- 15:25Speaker 1: This analysis right now, and this was titled the Inflation Threat.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Gas prices are only getting higher, is what it says
- 15:33Speaker 1: on the screen. Tucker is warning you on five eleven
- 15:36Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one, the same way that I did
- 15:39Speaker 1: on this show, that gas prices were going up, and
- 15:42Speaker 1: all of this was being done on purpose. All of
- 15:44Speaker 1: this was the actual policies of the Biden administration. This
- 15:49Speaker 1: was before Ukraine Russia War and Russia invading. This was
- 15:53Speaker 1: before all of these economic events that have happened around
- 15:56Speaker 1: the world, and even then many economists were warning it
- 16:00Speaker 1: was bad policies that were causing the prices to go up.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And then they were saying, this will be a threat
- 16:07Speaker 1: to inflation going up. And now where are we. Inflation
- 16:10Speaker 1: has happened. We are in a recession and you're playing
- 16:13Speaker 1: five dollars, six dollars, seven eight dollars for diesel and
- 16:16Speaker 1: four to five dollars a gallon, and that's going to
- 16:19Speaker 1: skyrocket after the election. For unlet a gasoline because we
- 16:23Speaker 1: are artificially lowering the price by releasing strategical reserves every
- 16:28Speaker 1: single day. That will end after the election. We know
- 16:30Speaker 1: that the Biden administration has already set it. So what
- 16:34Speaker 1: does suckers say next? Listen bye. This is the result
- 16:38Speaker 1: of policy decisions made by the new administration. This is
- 16:42Speaker 1: the Green New Deal. We've got it already. And if
- 16:45Speaker 1: you love gas shortages and electricity blackouts, no air conditioning,
- 16:49Speaker 1: eighty dollars plywood, this is the program for you. Tomorrow,
- 16:53Speaker 1: the Administration's Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the new
- 16:56Speaker 1: official numbers on inflation in America. You should know that
- 17:01Speaker 1: a key part of that statistic is called the consumer
- 17:03Speaker 1: price index, and the consumer price index measures the prices
- 17:07Speaker 1: of a carefully cure curated selection of goods and services.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And if tomorrow's consumer price index number is flat, rest assured.
- 17:16Speaker 1: The people on TV will tell you it is proof
- 17:18Speaker 1: that inflation isn't real. Should you believe them? Well, before
- 17:23Speaker 1: you take their word, take note of what is not
- 17:27Speaker 1: included in the official consumer price index lumber, for example,
- 17:30Speaker 1: because no one in America buys building materials, so you
- 17:34Speaker 1: should definitely ignore this. In a recent study by Fortune
- 17:37Speaker 1: dot com, the average price of lumber is now two
- 17:40Speaker 1: hundred eighty percent higher than what it was pre pandemic,
- 17:44Speaker 1: which is causing the cost of construction to also increase
- 17:47Speaker 1: thirty to forty percent. In assatement from the Division President
- 17:50Speaker 1: for Homes by Town, Jeff Peenstein, he says, for a
- 17:54Speaker 1: typical fifteen hundred square foot home, just rough lumber used
- 17:57Speaker 1: for framing has increased from fourteenth thousand dollars per home
- 18:01Speaker 1: to twenty nine thousand. Again, this was from five eleven
- 18:07Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one. All of this was done on purpose.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So now here we are, we're at the moment right
- 18:16Speaker 1: where this is coming to fruition and what are we
- 18:19Speaker 1: seeing right now? The price of gas is skyrocketing. Truckers
- 18:24Speaker 1: are now reacting to the scorching diesel prices under Joe Biden,
- 18:28Speaker 1: which was all done on purpose. None of this was
- 18:30Speaker 1: an accident. Local news media are now getting in on this.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Listen carefully to a truck driver, Curtis Barr on a
- 18:37Speaker 1: local TV station explaining how bad things are for him
- 18:41Speaker 1: right now. Diesel prices are making it much much harder
- 18:44Speaker 1: for truckers to make a living. It's crushing a little
- 18:47Speaker 1: bit this morning. That is the highs that ever been.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I've pumped it for like six nineteen, the smallness before
- 18:54Speaker 1: I can do a whole week for nine hundred, nine
- 18:57Speaker 1: hundred and fifty. Now I do in two to twenty
- 19:01Speaker 1: two dollars a week between Monday and Friday. This is
- 19:04Speaker 1: getting harder and harder and harder every month. Jamison Mendoza
- 19:07Speaker 1: is a five year truck driver from a Veto. He
- 19:09Speaker 1: said us some photos of his truck as he stopped
- 19:12Speaker 1: briefly in Georgia to speak with us about the hardship
- 19:15Speaker 1: of fuel prices, like my house payment, my car payment,
- 19:18Speaker 1: my personal insurance food bills in the house, is putting
- 19:24Speaker 1: in behind on a lot of things and a lot
- 19:26Speaker 1: of plans that I had in my future because of
- 19:29Speaker 1: the fuel price skyrocketing really hot, putting on a pressure
- 19:34Speaker 1: on the little guys because the fuel prices are so high.
- 19:37Speaker 1: When local media is covering this, that's when you know
- 19:40Speaker 1: there's an issue in EC news on the Today finally
- 19:44Speaker 1: covering the problem about not just the recession concerns amid
- 19:48Speaker 1: high inflation, but the gas prices and diesel. They finally
- 19:51Speaker 1: put it on the air saying this this morning, America
- 19:55Speaker 1: seems trapped in a vortex of bad economic news. By
- 19:59Speaker 1: the way, if a kans are trapped in a void
- 20:01Speaker 1: tex of bad economic news, as NBC News said it,
- 20:04Speaker 1: why would you not start the segment off by telling
- 20:07Speaker 1: you the honest truth. Why wouldn't you start that segment
- 20:10Speaker 1: off by saying, because of the Biden administrations policies on
- 20:14Speaker 1: oil and gas, Americans are stuck in a vortex of
- 20:19Speaker 1: bad economic news. Why wouldn't you just be honest and
- 20:23Speaker 1: say that, Because of course they can't do that ahead
- 20:25Speaker 1: of the midturns, but they will admit things are bad.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Sky high food prices, pump prices at record levels, soaring
- 20:31Speaker 1: rents of sixteen percent in one year, COVID lockdowns in China,
- 20:36Speaker 1: the world's manufacturing center, choking the global supply chain, US
- 20:40Speaker 1: corporate profits, sinking Russian oil under partial embargo, Ukrainian wheat
- 20:44Speaker 1: exports at a standstill, and all of it feeding forty
- 20:48Speaker 1: year high inflation that Americans are paying for every day
- 20:51Speaker 1: on the front lines, shippers and truck drivers with diesel
- 20:55Speaker 1: fuel prices of seventy five percent in one year. In Indiana,
- 20:59Speaker 1: Shelley come Away is a full time truck driver who
- 21:02Speaker 1: also runs a charity to rush supplies to those Indeed,
- 21:05Speaker 1: we were looking at possibly our trailers in the truck. True,
- 21:12Speaker 1: but we will be able to afford to the tires
- 21:16Speaker 1: on it. All of it sending the stock market lower,
- 21:22Speaker 1: the SMP down eighteen percent so far this year, the
- 21:25Speaker 1: nastack down a stunning twenty seven percent. Stocks are lower,
- 21:33Speaker 1: retirement accounts are lower. Recession is here, Inflation through the roof,
- 21:38Speaker 1: And not one time did you hear in them them
- 21:40Speaker 1: mention anything. Not one time did they mention anything about
- 21:45Speaker 1: who's to blame. They're telling you the story without telling
- 21:49Speaker 1: you the story. ABC News also coming out today talking
- 21:54Speaker 1: about gas prices. Finally, on Good Morning America. When we
- 21:58Speaker 1: talk about rising in fuel prices, we're often talking about gasoline,
- 22:02Speaker 1: what we pay at the pump that today is averaging
- 22:05Speaker 1: four dollars nineteen cents a gallon. But when you look
- 22:08Speaker 1: at diesel prices diesel fuel, they hit a new record
- 22:13Speaker 1: high just this morning, five dollars thirty two cents a gallon.
- 22:17Speaker 1: And diesel is incredibly important to the economy. It's known
- 22:21Speaker 1: as the fuel that moves the economy because it's the
- 22:24Speaker 1: fuel that most the trucks use that are on the
- 22:27Speaker 1: street cross the country. They're the things that are carrying
- 22:30Speaker 1: your groceries, your diapers, your necessities. And when the cost
- 22:34Speaker 1: for those truckers go up, all the costs go up
- 22:37Speaker 1: on these various items that we are so reliant on
- 22:41Speaker 1: as Americans truckers. At some point, don't you connect this
- 22:47Speaker 1: to the policies? Isn't that what you're supposed to do?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Right now, truckers are hit hard. Is diesel gas prices
- 22:56Speaker 1: five dollars a gallon in Metro Detroit. They're talking about
- 22:59Speaker 1: in Detroit now in Detroit, Tellberal fitting soaring diesel prices
- 23:02Speaker 1: are just the latest speed bump. I'm gonna have to
- 23:05Speaker 1: stop it at four hundred because I can't even feel
- 23:08Speaker 1: my whole tanks up and I got one hundred and
- 23:10Speaker 1: fifty gallon tanks on each side. Rudy has been a
- 23:13Speaker 1: truck driver for nearly two decades. He's never seen prices
- 23:16Speaker 1: this high. The big question is how will these prices
- 23:19Speaker 1: impact you the consumer. Independent truckers like Rudy and trucking
- 23:23Speaker 1: companies will be passing the higher costs of the fuel
- 23:26Speaker 1: to the companies they're contracted four He drives six hundred
- 23:29Speaker 1: miles plus per day, and that means every run I run,
- 23:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to pay every time that I take
- 23:34Speaker 1: a run. And just to break even, Rudy is pinching
- 23:37Speaker 1: pennies and picking up more hauls. There's gonna be kind
- 23:40Speaker 1: of hard to feed your family if you don't have
- 23:43Speaker 1: a lot of loads, because you got to think about it.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I still got bills to pay at home. I still
- 23:48Speaker 1: got to feed my family. And if I'm not making
- 23:50Speaker 1: no money in my truck, then I'm done. I'm done.
- 23:58Speaker 1: That is the Biden economy. This is why this midterm
- 24:01Speaker 1: election is so important. This is also why this midterm
- 24:04Speaker 1: election I think is moving in the direction that it is.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Even in New York City right now, or I should
- 24:09Speaker 1: say New York State, we are seeing a Republican looks
- 24:13Speaker 1: like they could be leading in that governor's race. All right,
- 24:18Speaker 1: but first let me tell you real quick about my

- 25:41Speaker 1: very interesting is happening on this issue of crime. Look
- 25:44Speaker 1: at New York. New York Latino grocers have come together
- 25:50Speaker 1: leaving the Democratic Party, and not just leaving the Democratic Party,
- 25:53Speaker 1: but actually raising seventy thousand dollars for the Republican governor
- 25:58Speaker 1: Governororo can at Zelden. After history of voting for Democrats
- 26:04Speaker 1: for decades, a coalition of mainly Latino supermarket owners in
- 26:09Speaker 1: New York City are done with a Democratic Party. This
- 26:13Speaker 1: because their stores are getting robbed all the time. Why
- 26:16Speaker 1: because if you steal less than a thousand dollars worth
- 26:19Speaker 1: of groceries or shoplift for things, or less a thousand dollars,
- 26:23Speaker 1: you will not go to jail. This is bail reform,
- 26:27Speaker 1: prison reform, right. This is the part of the defund
- 26:30Speaker 1: the police movement. So this coalition of mom and pop
- 26:33Speaker 1: grocery stores has raised now more than seventy thousand dollars
- 26:37Speaker 1: to back the Republican candidate Zelden as the election is approaching.
- 26:44Speaker 1: The New York Post reporting on how amazing this is,
- 26:46Speaker 1: they say seventy small business owners. These entrepreneurs operating supermarkets
- 26:52Speaker 1: including Foodtown, Fine Fare and Met Foods, are each giving
- 26:57Speaker 1: a thousand dollars to the Zelden campaign. During a funer
- 27:00Speaker 1: in Queen's Last Night, the congressman who's now running for
- 27:04Speaker 1: governor is vowed to go hard against criminals who target grocers.
- 27:08Speaker 1: It is a message that has not fallen on deaf ears.
- 27:12Speaker 1: The leader of the government relation for the National Supermarket
- 27:15Speaker 1: Association said that those in the supermarkets in New York
- 27:17Speaker 1: have been hit the hardest. And these are Hispanic supermarket
- 27:21Speaker 1: owners who have previously voted and backed and supported Democrats solely.
- 27:27Speaker 1: They become very well weary, they say, of the situation,
- 27:31Speaker 1: and they are demanding results. Quote. We are frustrated. I'm
- 27:37Speaker 1: tired of Democrats saying that bail reform has not affected
- 27:41Speaker 1: crime negatively. This is a Democrat, Carlos Colado, who owns
- 27:46Speaker 1: a pair of supermarkets in the Bronx. He went on
- 27:51Speaker 1: to say, we are seeing a different reality on the ground.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Social media users have also reacted to this big story.
- 27:59Speaker 1: One person bless those that have given, as well as
- 28:02Speaker 1: those who want to but are maybe running short. This month,
- 28:07Speaker 1: Latinos and all New Yorkers want safety in their neighborhoods.
- 28:11Speaker 1: They don't want to just feel safe, quote unquote, as
- 28:15Speaker 1: the current New York governor said, they want to actually
- 28:19Speaker 1: all caps be safe. New York is having a problem
- 28:25Speaker 1: right now because criminals have understood the new rules allow
- 28:29Speaker 1: them to do whatever it is they want to do.
- 28:32Speaker 1: This is also becoming an issue nationwide. This morning, NBC
- 28:37Speaker 1: News telling the truth about the poll numbers. Right now,
- 28:40Speaker 1: the top issue is not abortion, it's the economy and crime.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Listen carefully, this is new from Gallup. They ask folks
- 28:47Speaker 1: the issues they consider the most important, very important, and
- 28:50Speaker 1: you see the economy tops of abortion, saggan, crime, gun policy, immigration.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Then you ask folks who say these are the most
- 28:57Speaker 1: important issues to them how they intend to vote. And
- 29:00Speaker 1: I think this is interesting too, because look at this.
- 29:03Speaker 1: On all but one of these topics, Republicans have an advantage.
- 29:08Speaker 1: By the way, let me explain how big of an advantage.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It is the twenty twenty two election. Top issues. The
- 29:14Speaker 1: economy right now is number one. Forty nine percent of
- 29:18Speaker 1: voters say that's their top issue. Of those that identify
- 29:23Speaker 1: the economy is number one. The Republicans have a thirty
- 29:26Speaker 1: one point lead, and they say fixing the economy on abortion,
- 29:31Speaker 1: that is the only issue where Democrats actually are winning.
- 29:36Speaker 1: On crime forty percent of voters, so that's their top issue,
- 29:40Speaker 1: twenty eight percent lead for Republicans in that category, Gun
- 29:45Speaker 1: policies even thirty eight percent of voters, so that was
- 29:48Speaker 1: an important issue for Republicans have a lead on that
- 29:51Speaker 1: issue with five percent advantage, and on immigration thirty seven percent,
- 29:56Speaker 1: So that's their top issue and who's going to fix it?
- 30:00Speaker 1: Republicans have a thirty three point lead. The only issue
- 30:04Speaker 1: where abortion is the issue of abortion where to makes sense,
- 30:08Speaker 1: right because Democrats want abortions, Republicans don't, so it naturally
- 30:12Speaker 1: they would be leading on that issue after rov Wade.
- 30:16Speaker 1: But listen the second part of what they had to
- 30:17Speaker 1: say on NBC News. Three of them the economy, crime, immigration,
- 30:22Speaker 1: Republicans have massive advantages over Democrats. So when you look
- 30:26Speaker 1: at this issue set, you look at how these voters
- 30:29Speaker 1: are breaking along these issues. You see what looks like
- 30:31Speaker 1: a significant Republican advantage. But again you go back to
- 30:34Speaker 1: that generic ballot and this is not right now looking
- 30:37Speaker 1: like a runaway in the polls for Republicans. Republicans, of course,
- 30:42Speaker 1: the Democrats there on NBC News trying to say, well,
- 30:45Speaker 1: it still doesn't look like a runaway. It is. New
- 30:47Speaker 1: Jersey Governor Murphy, by the way, has come out attacking Republicans,
- 30:52Speaker 1: saying that it is the crime. Playing the crime card
- 30:56Speaker 1: is shameless and that it is fatiguing to voters. He's wrong,
- 31:01Speaker 1: But this is this closing argument to the Democrats, which
- 31:03Speaker 1: is exactly why I believe we're going to have a
- 31:06Speaker 1: very big red wave on election day vote this year.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Let's bring in the Democratic governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy, Governor,
- 31:13Speaker 1: thank you very much for being on. Do Democrats have
- 31:17Speaker 1: a hold on the crime narrative or are they having
- 31:20Speaker 1: trouble getting the message out? Make It's good to be
- 31:24Speaker 1: back with you. And as if I needed it, that
- 31:27Speaker 1: prior conversation depressed me even more so, as you also
- 31:31Speaker 1: mentioned Metz, I just have to get this off my chest.
- 31:35Speaker 1: He's a resident of Bergen County, New Jersey, not of Pennsylvania. Listen,
- 31:40Speaker 1: the other guys play the crime card relentlessly and shame shamelessly,
- 31:46Speaker 1: it seems every election, and the facts and their portrayal
- 31:51Speaker 1: of the facts are in entirely different places. That doesn't
- 31:55Speaker 1: mean that crime is not an issue. It doesn't mean
- 31:57Speaker 1: that we're not focused on it. But we'll just say
- 32:00Speaker 1: in New Jersey this year, violent crimes, shooting, homicides are
- 32:04Speaker 1: all down meaningfully, between something like fifteen and thirty percent.
- 32:10Speaker 1: We invest deeply, not just here, but as a party
- 32:13Speaker 1: in the relations between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
- 32:17Speaker 1: We invest in law enforcement. So they're really good at
- 32:21Speaker 1: playing the card. It reminds me, frankly, it goes back
- 32:24Speaker 1: to Nixon's Southern strategy. It's got racial elements to it.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Let's just call that for what it is. And here
- 32:31Speaker 1: we go again. It feels like it's a movie that
- 32:33Speaker 1: we've seen time and time again and they're pulling that
- 32:36Speaker 1: card out again this time. I love it. Right, So
- 32:38Speaker 1: if you're concerned about crime number one, it's a ratio issue.
- 32:42Speaker 1: As he just said, and he said, the GOP playing
- 32:44Speaker 1: the crime card relentlessly and shamelessly goes back to the
- 32:47Speaker 1: Nixon Southern strategy, a racist strategy, and so you can't
- 32:51Speaker 1: vote for these Republicans because if you want to fight crime,
- 32:53Speaker 1: well then you're by default a racist. This goes exactly
- 32:57Speaker 1: back to what Abram said the other night where she
- 32:59Speaker 1: said that the all these evil sheriffs and Georgia, they
- 33:02Speaker 1: have not backed her, just want to be able to
- 33:04Speaker 1: pull over black people. That's what she said the other night.
- 33:08Speaker 1: During the actual debate, CNN also said Democrats have a
- 33:13Speaker 1: pretty good record on crime, and the Democratic Party should
- 33:16Speaker 1: tout that. Show me where I want to know where
- 33:19Speaker 1: I fear works. I mean, have Democrats done enough to
- 33:22Speaker 1: talk about that. No, I think they've been very They've
- 33:24Speaker 1: been caught flat footed on the crime issue, because the
- 33:27Speaker 1: crime issue isn't something that's just happening in democratic states.
- 33:30Speaker 1: In fact, is happening in Republican states. It's happening at
- 33:32Speaker 1: very high rates. And Democrats have a pretty good record
- 33:36Speaker 1: on crime, and yet they're not talking about it. And
- 33:39Speaker 1: they it's in the same way there's a lot of
- 33:41Speaker 1: people in this country who believe the Democratic Party supported
- 33:44Speaker 1: defund the police and they didn't do right, and they
- 33:46Speaker 1: just don't do a good enough job of explaining what
- 33:50Speaker 1: they believe, in part because they have a base that
- 33:53Speaker 1: you know, has opinions that actually does support defund the police,
- 33:56Speaker 1: or has different opinions, So they're kind of trying to
- 33:59Speaker 1: walk the fine. But I do think that they should
- 34:02Speaker 1: have been more aggressive about it because it is something
- 34:04Speaker 1: that is a lot of people are very concerned about.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I love this right. Democrats have a pretty good record
- 34:10Speaker 1: on crime. Really show me a Democratic run city, a
- 34:15Speaker 1: major city in America that is tough on crime. Democrats
- 34:19Speaker 1: are in favor of cashless bail. Democrats are in favor
- 34:23Speaker 1: of legalizing all drugs. Democrats are in favor of anyone
- 34:27Speaker 1: under the age of eighteen never going to prison. Right there,
- 34:31Speaker 1: in favor of letting people out quickly. Look at it.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You can beat a woman in the street, attack a
- 34:37Speaker 1: senior citizen and robbed them in New York, and what
- 34:40Speaker 1: happens to you, Nothing, Nothing happens to you. You are
- 34:44Speaker 1: back down the streets the very next day able to do
- 34:46Speaker 1: do the exact same crime. Because of bail reform, if
- 34:49Speaker 1: you rob somebody but less than a thousand dollars, you
- 34:54Speaker 1: automatically in New York city. Do not go to jail.
- 34:56Speaker 1: You'll get a court date. You may or may not
- 34:58Speaker 1: show up for it, who cares. But they're not going
- 35:00Speaker 1: to put you in jail if you go into a
- 35:02Speaker 1: store and rob them for under a thousand dollars. This
- 35:06Speaker 1: is part of the insanity of the left. And then
- 35:09Speaker 1: they come out and they're like, oh no, we're actually
- 35:11Speaker 1: really good on crime. If you want to know why
- 35:13Speaker 1: there's going to be a red wave, this is why.
- 35:16Speaker 1: This is exactly why there is going to be a
- 35:19Speaker 1: red wave. I believe it because people understand Democrats are
- 35:24Speaker 1: weak on criminals, and this is why Republicans need to
- 35:29Speaker 1: seize on this issue in the final days of the election.
