Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / SHOCK AND HORROR! BIDEN CLAIMS "There Is Nothing Special About Being an American"

- 0:00Speaker 1: Did you know Joe Biden actually believes that there's really
- 0:03Speaker 1: nothing special about being an American. Harvard University Insident Politics
- 0:09Speaker 1: had Joe Biden speak back in two thousand and fourteen,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and he said this, which may explain exactly why he
- 0:17Speaker 1: doesn't seem to give a crap about Americans being trapped
- 0:21Speaker 1: behind enemy lines in Afghanistan with the Taliban in charge
- 0:24Speaker 1: of their futures. And so you figure out how to
- 0:29Speaker 1: live together like we do, you will never never, never
- 0:34Speaker 1: make it. America's strength ultimately lies in its people. There's
- 0:42Speaker 1: nothing special about being American. None of you can define
- 0:45Speaker 1: for me what an American is. Nothing special about being
- 0:50Speaker 1: an American. There's nothing special about being American. None of
- 0:54Speaker 1: you can define for me what an American is. Nothing
- 0:59Speaker 1: should there is nothing special about being an American. Well,
- 1:04Speaker 1: that may explain exactly why our foreign policy is. If
- 1:07Speaker 1: Americans are dying around the world, so be it. We
- 1:11Speaker 1: also learned something else today. Did you know that there
- 1:15Speaker 1: was a hit out by the Taliban back in two
- 1:18Speaker 1: thousand and eight, seven, six, twenty nine, ten, actually on
- 1:24Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Well, Osama bin Laden may have been smarter
- 1:29Speaker 1: than we realized. Osama bin Laden evil dude, not stupid, though,
- 1:35Speaker 1: banned al Qaeda from trying to assassinate Joe Biden because quote,
- 1:40Speaker 1: he believed he would be an incompetent president and lead
- 1:45Speaker 1: the US into a crisis that we could exploit. That's right,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Osama bin Laden banned al Qaida from assassinating Joe Biden
- 1:55Speaker 1: because the Democrat would become an incompetent president and lead
- 2:00Speaker 1: the US into a crisis if Jihadis were successful in
- 2:03Speaker 1: killing Barack Obama. Ben Lawden made those remarks in a
- 2:09Speaker 1: two thousand and ten letter that was found in a
- 2:12Speaker 1: trope of documents of the Pakistan compound where he was
- 2:16Speaker 1: killed by US special forces in two thousand and eleven.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The document was then made public, but a lot of
- 2:23Speaker 1: people weren't paying attention to it. In twenty and twelve,
- 2:26Speaker 1: it was brought back to light this week given the
- 2:28Speaker 1: significance amid the chaos with a US fordrawal from Afghanistan
- 2:34Speaker 1: that is gifted the country back into the hands of
- 2:37Speaker 1: al Qaeda. Ben Lawden, then leader of al Qaida and
- 2:41Speaker 1: the man that America went to Afghanistan to kill, panned
- 2:44Speaker 1: a forty eight page mission statement. I guess and made
- 2:49Speaker 1: twenty ten to an aid identified as Brother Muhammad real
- 2:56Speaker 1: name Al Raman. In it, ben Laden discussed the needed
- 3:02Speaker 1: direct resources away from ter attacks in other Muslim countries
- 3:05Speaker 1: instead focus on direct attacks in the US. On page
- 3:08Speaker 1: thirty six of that letter that we got in that rate,
- 3:13Speaker 1: he outlined his desire to form two hit squads, one
- 3:17Speaker 1: in Pakistan and another in Afghanistan, whose job it will
- 3:20Speaker 1: be to plot attacks against then US President Barack Obama
- 3:23Speaker 1: and XCIA director David Petraeus should they visit either country.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Giving his reasoning for attacking Obama, Osama bin Laden said quote,
- 3:34Speaker 1: Obama is the head of the Infidel and killing him
- 3:39Speaker 1: automatically will make Biden take over the presidency for the
- 3:45Speaker 1: remainder of the term as is normal over there. Biden
- 3:49Speaker 1: is totally This is Osama bin Laden's words. Biden is
- 3:54Speaker 1: totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the US
- 3:58Speaker 1: into chaos. Osam bin Laden also adds as for General Petraeus,
- 4:06Speaker 1: he is the man of the hour in this last
- 4:09Speaker 1: year of the war and killing him would alter the
- 4:12Speaker 1: war's path. Now. US intelligence analysts, who first revealed the
- 4:17Speaker 1: existence of the document to The Washington Post back in
- 4:19Speaker 1: twenty twelve, said neither the pots against Obama or portrayus
- 4:23Speaker 1: were realistic or amounted to anything. By the way, that's
- 4:26Speaker 1: the same exact thing the US Intelligence Agency said about
- 4:28Speaker 1: the attacks on nine eleven. But ben Laden's attack on
- 4:33Speaker 1: Biden's abilities and his forewarning of an American crisis rings
- 4:39Speaker 1: truer now than it ever did before. Biden facing mounting
- 4:43Speaker 1: fury across the world for abandoning Afghans in their fate,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and yesterday it emerged that his administration was warned multiple
- 4:51Speaker 1: times last month that the Afghan capital would quickly follow
- 4:55Speaker 1: the Taliban after an American withdrawal, and certainly by August
- 4:59Speaker 1: the thirty first. More than a dozen diplomats have now
- 5:04Speaker 1: sent a confidential memo out to the media in a
- 5:07Speaker 1: descent channel to Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln on July thirteenth,
- 5:13Speaker 1: saying that the Taliban was rapidly gaining ground and that
- 5:16Speaker 1: the city was vulnerable to collapse, The Walls Journal has confirmed.
- 5:21Speaker 1: On July eighth, President Biden said it was quotely highly
- 5:24Speaker 1: highly unlikely the Taliban would take control of Afghanistan and
- 5:28Speaker 1: denied there would be chaos in Kabbel. Well, now we
- 5:31Speaker 1: know that he's either just a total idiot or he
- 5:34Speaker 1: refuses to listen to anyone around him. He went on
- 5:38Speaker 1: vacation for five days as Afghanistan was falling, which goes
- 5:42Speaker 1: back to the competency issue that was raised by Osama
- 5:47Speaker 1: bin Laden, who said, don't kill Joe Biden. We want
- 5:51Speaker 1: this guy to be president. He'll take over if we
- 5:54Speaker 1: can get rid of Obama. These are the words of
- 5:59Speaker 1: the Rists that planned nine to eleven. This is Osama
- 6:01Speaker 1: bin Laden saying, whatever you do, don't harm Joe Biden,
- 6:04Speaker 1: because Joe Biden will give us what we want Afghan
- 6:09Speaker 1: security forces we knew were collapsing over a month ago.
- 6:12Speaker 1: The memo also warned Obama or excuse me, Biden, that
- 6:18Speaker 1: there are many ways to mitigate the advancing insurgents. None
- 6:23Speaker 1: of that was listened to by the President. The State
- 6:28Speaker 1: Department not wanting blood on their hands, and their memo,
- 6:31Speaker 1: according to report, also called for the government to use
- 6:33Speaker 1: tougher language, referring to the US government using tougher language
- 6:37Speaker 1: mean the president US tougher language on the violence in
- 6:40Speaker 1: the past and the Taliban, and urged them to start
- 6:42Speaker 1: collecting information for Afghan allies who qualified for special immigration
- 6:46Speaker 1: visas after working with US forces. All of this was
- 6:49Speaker 1: warned weeks ago, almost a month ago before all this happened.
- 6:53Speaker 1: The Journal even report that twenty three embassy staffers signed
- 6:57Speaker 1: the cable and rushed to deliver it considering the deteriorating
- 7:01Speaker 1: situation in Kabble. This is back in July. We're now
- 7:05Speaker 1: told the Secretary of State Anthony Lincoln reviewed the cable.
- 7:11Speaker 1: State Department spokesman Ed Price told the Journal quote, he
- 7:14Speaker 1: made clear that he welcomes and encourages the use of
- 7:17Speaker 1: the descent channel, is committed to its revitalization. We value
- 7:21Speaker 1: constructive internal descent. The memo using the descent channel urged
- 7:27Speaker 1: the administration to start flights evacuating people out of the
- 7:30Speaker 1: country no later than August the first, and sooner if
- 7:33Speaker 1: they could. A former CIA counter Terrorism chiefs chief also
- 7:38Speaker 1: advised the President's campaign the cobble would crumble within days
- 7:43Speaker 1: with a depleted American presence, so don't do that. But
- 7:48Speaker 1: an interview release on Thursday morning, President Biden claimed George
- 7:51Speaker 1: Stepanopolis that he was never told that such a rapid
- 7:55Speaker 1: collapse was even possible. In fact, a day earlier, General
- 7:59Speaker 1: Mark Millie, you know the chairman of the Joint Chiefs
- 8:01Speaker 1: of Staff that's been focusing more on wokeness and making
- 8:04Speaker 1: sure soldiers can get sex change operations and boob jobs.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Said he never saw any intelligence warning that the African
- 8:11Speaker 1: government could fall so quickly. We now know he lied
- 8:14Speaker 1: to us as well. Quote, there's nothing that I or
- 8:18Speaker 1: anyone else saw that indicated a collapse of this army
- 8:21Speaker 1: and the government in eleven days. We know now that's
- 8:26Speaker 1: a lie. Their claims have been disputed in a detailed
- 8:29Speaker 1: account describing the state of understanding at the CIA written
- 8:33Speaker 1: by Douglas London, the agency's former counter terrorism chief for
- 8:37Speaker 1: South and Southwest Asia, which offered a very different assessment.
- 8:41Speaker 1: He said the rapid collapse was one of a number
- 8:44Speaker 1: of possible scenarios, saying, quote, ultimately it was assessed African
- 8:51Speaker 1: forces might capitulate under the circumstances we witness and projections
- 8:55Speaker 1: highlighted the Trump officials and future Biden officials alike. He said,
- 9:01Speaker 1: we have a real problem and everyone knows it. London,
- 9:06Speaker 1: by the way, who served as a volunteer advisor to
- 9:08Speaker 1: the Biden campaign after leaving the CIA in two nineteen
- 9:11Speaker 1: scoffed at the president's claim that the events Afghanistan unfolded
- 9:16Speaker 1: more rapidly than expected, saying quote, that's misleading. It best now,
- 9:20Speaker 1: this is his advisor on his campaign saying, quote, the
- 9:24Speaker 1: CIA anticipated it was a very real scenario. ABC News
- 9:30Speaker 1: even scorching Biden for claiming Americans, how her, are having
- 9:35Speaker 1: no trouble getting to the airport. You know, Joe Biden
- 9:39Speaker 1: wants you to actually believe maybe one of the biggest
- 9:42Speaker 1: lives we've been told so far, that Americans are having
- 9:47Speaker 1: no issues getting the Kabbel airport. Even ABC News isn't
- 9:50Speaker 1: buying it. Not only did ABC News not buy it,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they're actually scorching him because they have members in their
- 9:57Speaker 1: media apparatus that can't get to the airport. We've all
- 10:00Speaker 1: seen the videos of the babies being thrown over the
- 10:02Speaker 1: barbed wire. Some of them got caught in the bob wire.
- 10:05Speaker 1: We know that people are passing their children over the fence,
- 10:08Speaker 1: the soldiers begging for them to give their kids a
- 10:10Speaker 1: chance at life. Joe Biden actually said today in his
- 10:17Speaker 1: own words, that there are zero issues. I don't know
- 10:20Speaker 1: if any there's no indication every road is controlled by
- 10:24Speaker 1: the Taliban, every road coming to the airport has road blocks.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Americans were beat last night in the streets in Afghanistan.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know the State Department thinks about that. I'll play
- 10:35Speaker 1: that for you in a second. But before we get
- 10:37Speaker 1: to that, here is Biden lying to you. But remember
- 10:40Speaker 1: this is the same guy that said there's nothing special
- 10:43Speaker 1: about being an American. It makes sense, right, If Joe
- 10:47Speaker 1: Biden truly believes that there is nothing special about being
- 10:50Speaker 1: an American, then it's not a big deal for Americans
- 10:54Speaker 1: beaten by the Taliban or murdered or hung or beheaded,
- 10:59Speaker 1: nothing special about being American. None of you can define
- 11:02Speaker 1: for me what an American is. That's twenty fourteen at
- 11:05Speaker 1: the Harvard University Institute of Politics. So if there's nothing
- 11:10Speaker 1: special about Americans, and why do I care about them?
- 11:14Speaker 1: We have no indication that they haven't been able to
- 11:16Speaker 1: get in Couble through the airport. We've made an agreement
- 11:19Speaker 1: with the Taliban. Thus far, they've allowed them to go through.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's and they're interested them to go through. So we
- 11:25Speaker 1: know of no circumstance where American citizens are carrying an
- 11:30Speaker 1: American passport or trying to get through to the airport.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But we will do whatever it needs to be done
- 11:35Speaker 1: to see to what they get to the airport. Really
- 11:38Speaker 1: because your state department, so they couldn't guarantee the safety
- 11:41Speaker 1: of Americans, and the DoD said that you guys couldn't
- 11:45Speaker 1: guarantee the safety of Americans going to airport. So which
- 11:48Speaker 1: one is it? State Department spokesman Ned Price actually dismissed
- 11:53Speaker 1: the reports of the Taliban being Americans, maybe because he believes,
- 11:56Speaker 1: like Joe Biden that in their world words not mine,
- 12:02Speaker 1: there's nothing special about being American. None of you can
- 12:05Speaker 1: define from me what an American is. So let me
- 12:08Speaker 1: let you listen to the State Department spokesman Ned Price
- 12:13Speaker 1: dismissing reports of Americans being beaten last night. First time
- 12:17Speaker 1: ever this has happened since all this point down Americans
- 12:20Speaker 1: being attacked. The Defense Secretary told congressional leaders that Americans
- 12:26Speaker 1: were beating there, so can you confirm that for us
- 12:29Speaker 1: off And this is a first indication of what yet
- 12:32Speaker 1: to come by the Taliban. Again, every single report, whether
- 12:36Speaker 1: it is an American citizen, and we take we're in
- 12:38Speaker 1: direct contact with American citizens, we take those extraordinarily seriously.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Or the reports we're seeing about at risk Akians who
- 12:45Speaker 1: may be impeded. We take those extraordinarily seriously. It's difficult
- 12:51Speaker 1: for us to speak to reports that are anecdotal that
- 12:57Speaker 1: may be on social media. Reports we can speak to
- 13:01Speaker 1: are those. I mean, these journalists, by the way, are
- 13:07Speaker 1: pretty angry right this. This, This reporter is confronting the
- 13:10Speaker 1: State Department spokesman over their ambiguous updates and not telling
- 13:15Speaker 1: the truth about what's having to American citizens. And she's going,
- 13:19Speaker 1: we have these reports going to Congress. Why are you
- 13:21Speaker 1: not admitting this? The reports we can speak to are
- 13:25Speaker 1: those reports that we have heard firsthand, because we are
- 13:28Speaker 1: in regular constant communication with American citizens on the ground,
- 13:32Speaker 1: providing them guidance, providing them instructions. So oftentimes we do
- 13:36Speaker 1: know the most about what American citizens are faring. But
- 13:40Speaker 1: I'm just not in a position to confirm specific reports.
- 13:43Speaker 1: So let's be clear about this. The State Department spokesman
- 13:48Speaker 1: Ned Price just miss his reports of the Taliban beating
- 13:50Speaker 1: Americans as anecdotal. That's how little they think of you.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Even ABC News Tonight not putting up with that crap.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Correspondent Ian Panel with us live on the ground in Kabble,
- 14:05Speaker 1: where he has been for many days now, and Ian,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I want to get right to something. The President was
- 14:09Speaker 1: pressed on there from our own Stephanie Ramos, who was
- 14:12Speaker 1: there at the White House. She asked about Americans and
- 14:15Speaker 1: Afghans who are in Kabbal and beyond, who are trying
- 14:19Speaker 1: to get to that airport. But as you have reported
- 14:22Speaker 1: for many nights on World News tonight, the Taliban controls
- 14:25Speaker 1: the checkpoint, the Taliban and convoys around that country. How
- 14:29Speaker 1: do you get those families to the airport? The President
- 14:32Speaker 1: said he has no intelligence that Americans have been unable
- 14:35Speaker 1: to get there. The question obviously, does that square with
- 14:38Speaker 1: reporting on the ground, I mean, just totally not. I
- 14:44Speaker 1: mean the reaction was pretty much one of I mean,
- 14:47Speaker 1: it was breasttaking no indication Americans can get to the airports.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean, last nights on World News, we had American
- 14:53Speaker 1: citizens who had exactly that experience. They tried to get
- 14:56Speaker 1: to the airport. They had weighed their American passports. The
- 14:59Speaker 1: President talks about all they had to do was present
- 15:01Speaker 1: their passports and they'd be allowed through. They were beaten
- 15:05Speaker 1: by the Taliban with the rubber fan belt from a vehicle.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Multiple examples of Americans and Afghans SIV applicants who have
- 15:14Speaker 1: now tried repeatedly. This one woman we're tracking. She's back
- 15:17Speaker 1: at the airport tonight. This is a third night in
- 15:20Speaker 1: the row. The gates haven't opened, the Taliban haven't let
- 15:23Speaker 1: her through. It just seems the reality and the rhetoric
- 15:28Speaker 1: are miles apart. I'm not quite sure what advice the
- 15:32Speaker 1: presidents receiving, but the truth on the ground is that
- 15:35Speaker 1: these people who are in fear of their lives can't
- 15:38Speaker 1: get through. These people infear their lives can't get through.
- 15:44Speaker 1: That's ABC News saying it. Let me let you hear
- 15:49Speaker 1: from another media organization who is also saying that Joe
- 15:54Speaker 1: Biden's last his ever loving mind and he's just flat
- 15:56Speaker 1: out lying to the American people about him. Ericans getting
- 16:00Speaker 1: safe passage to the airport MSNBC, and the only reason
- 16:06Speaker 1: why they're angry. You have to understand this is because
- 16:07Speaker 1: there's journalists who are caught behind enemy lines right now,
- 16:11Speaker 1: so it's in their best interest to tell you the
- 16:14Speaker 1: truth only for that reason. I want this to be clear.
- 16:17Speaker 1: This is not about Americans and is about journalists who
- 16:20Speaker 1: think they're more important than you are. It just happens
- 16:24Speaker 1: to be that we're aligned on this one now, so
- 16:26Speaker 1: they will tell you the real truth of what's happening
- 16:28Speaker 1: on the ground. Because Americans who also happen to be
- 16:31Speaker 1: journalists are trapped behind enemy lines. That's why they're really angry.
- 16:36Speaker 1: If all the journalists were safe, then they would have
- 16:39Speaker 1: no problem probably telling you a different story. You're looking
- 16:43Speaker 1: the other way while Biden's lying to you. But right
- 16:45Speaker 1: now they want their journalist friends, which lives are more
- 16:48Speaker 1: valuable than anyone else's, to get out. Here is what
- 16:52Speaker 1: MSNBC said about Joe Biden telling the world, Oh Americans,
- 16:56Speaker 1: where are past? We're just showing to the talbot. I'll
- 16:58Speaker 1: let you straight through. Those of people surrounded the airport,
- 17:02Speaker 1: the Camp Salivant camp there on the military entrance, all
- 17:06Speaker 1: of them have been closed. So you're beating the people,
- 17:09Speaker 1: smoking fire gas at them. There's no way that people
- 17:12Speaker 1: get in. So this is a complete failure. What the
- 17:15Speaker 1: prisoner has been saying, it contradicts the situation. My journalist
- 17:19Speaker 1: is telling me from the airport. One of my journalists
- 17:22Speaker 1: mid inside the airport and the other one has been
- 17:24Speaker 1: beaten and still outside. So the reality, by the way,
- 17:27Speaker 1: you know, one of my journalists see, that's the only
- 17:29Speaker 1: reason why they're telling you the truth right now is
- 17:31Speaker 1: because it's their journalists who usually have a different level
- 17:37Speaker 1: of protection. Right, that's all broken down. Journalists. You gotta understand,
- 17:41Speaker 1: I'm I'm in the I don't like saying I'm in
- 17:44Speaker 1: the journalist field. That's not I don't want to be
- 17:46Speaker 1: accused of being a journalist, right, I'm not a journalist.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I'm a commentator. But you gotta understand. Most journalists are
- 17:52Speaker 1: extremely narcissistic. They believe they're special. They believe that they
- 17:56Speaker 1: are above reproach. They believe that they're like like God
- 18:00Speaker 1: has their hand on them, that they're somehow different than
- 18:03Speaker 1: a normal human being. Journalists believe that they are They're
- 18:08Speaker 1: very narcissistic. Just so you understand, and even there you
- 18:11Speaker 1: can hear it, right. I don't even think the guy
- 18:13Speaker 1: realized what he's saying here, but he's basically saying, I'm
- 18:15Speaker 1: angry and I'm telling you that Joe Biden's lying and
- 18:18Speaker 1: what's happening on the ground is not what he's claiming.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It is because I have journalists that are trapped. It's
- 18:23Speaker 1: exactly what I said they were gonna do now, So
- 18:27Speaker 1: as they get their journalists out, they'll shut up. They'll
- 18:30Speaker 1: shut up for the same reason that Joe Biden is
- 18:33Speaker 1: acting this way, because they don't really think there's anything
- 18:36Speaker 1: special about being an American. Sistant either, there's nothing special
- 18:39Speaker 1: about being American. None of you can define for me
- 18:42Speaker 1: what an American is. That explains Joe Biden's lack of
- 18:46Speaker 1: I don't give a blank about these people. That explains
- 18:49Speaker 1: why they can he can look you in the face
- 18:51Speaker 1: and lie to you. But ABC News scorching Biden for
- 18:55Speaker 1: claiming Americans have no trouble getting the couple airport, and
- 18:59Speaker 1: MSNBC doing the exact same thing. It's only because they're
- 19:04Speaker 1: journalists that are trapped on the ground. Is that the
- 19:08Speaker 1: administration had literally feeled this footage b uc it's from
- 19:12Speaker 1: my journalis wanted to make his way out. The US
- 19:15Speaker 1: Embassy has issued them these passes or they call up
- 19:18Speaker 1: visa passes. The problem is not the Tolebon. The problem
- 19:22Speaker 1: is our capabilities US forces and the and the a
- 19:26Speaker 1: consecurity forces. They cannot control the crowd. We're talking about
- 19:29Speaker 1: thousands of people. Eighteen thousand left, six thousand screen last night.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Right now, everything is closed, So what we see all
- 19:36Speaker 1: these footages you're been beating. And there's another thing. Over
- 19:40Speaker 1: ninety percent of these people have never worked for the
- 19:43Speaker 1: US government. Their families are not in the US. So
- 19:46Speaker 1: it has been a mismanagement of this program. You know,
- 19:48Speaker 1: this kind have been done long time ago. We literally failed.
- 19:52Speaker 1: It has been a terrible leadership. And I think it's
- 19:54Speaker 1: still the president. He admitted his failure, and he's still
- 19:57Speaker 1: not regretting what has happening on the ground. You know, yes,
- 20:00Speaker 1: there are a lot of brave American souls on the ground,
- 20:03Speaker 1: but if the leadership is not working, if the strategy
- 20:05Speaker 1: is not working, how are you going to sit safely
- 20:09Speaker 1: bring these people home? You know? On the crowd, my
- 20:11Speaker 1: journalist told me there are a lot of American citizens
- 20:14Speaker 1: with green cards even with a US citizenship passport and
- 20:18Speaker 1: the ENGINEUS that is the issue. So the crowd, there's
- 20:21Speaker 1: there's really really, really hard for people to go and
- 20:23Speaker 1: it says, oh, you're an American, let's go on a plane.
- 20:26Speaker 1: So this situation, it's a chaos, it's a disaster. I
- 20:29Speaker 1: got a massage from the journal is that she made
- 20:31Speaker 1: at the airport. She was crying and she was telling
- 20:34Speaker 1: me Ahamed I don't know what to tell you. People
- 20:36Speaker 1: are killing each other over a bottle of water. It's
- 20:39Speaker 1: such a such a disaster at chaos and she hung up.
- 20:41Speaker 1: One man. Notice it's all about the journalist here, right,
- 20:45Speaker 1: It's not really the Americans. Yeah, not really the Americans.
- 20:50Speaker 1: It's journalists. We just happen to be aligned for once
- 20:54Speaker 1: because we're angry. We can't get out Stay Department spokes
- 20:59Speaker 1: from Price just missus reports of beating Americans. Member, it's
- 21:03Speaker 1: just anecdotal. It's not a big deal. Senator Lindsey Graham
- 21:07Speaker 1: even said today, I fear that the Taliban has given
- 21:12Speaker 1: us an ultimatum. They're now attacking Americans. Even CNN now again,
- 21:16Speaker 1: the only reason why they're doing what I'm about to
- 21:18Speaker 1: play for you is because they have journalists. Is fact
- 21:21Speaker 1: checking now. For the first time ever, Joe Biden's claimed
- 21:24Speaker 1: today the President has said American passport holders who are
- 21:28Speaker 1: not having any trouble getting past the Taliban checkpoints, that
- 21:31Speaker 1: may be problematic. An awful lot of reports that that
- 21:34Speaker 1: is still very much a problem. Now they won't say
- 21:39Speaker 1: just lied to you right there. It's you know, they
- 21:40Speaker 1: got they got to make sure they keep their access
- 21:42Speaker 1: to the White House. Right, you want to know something
- 21:46Speaker 1: else that's crazy. This administration was asked about what's going
- 21:53Speaker 1: on when it comes to another issue they've they've asked
- 21:57Speaker 1: them about the Taliban. Hey, what's what? What are we?
- 22:01Speaker 1: What's the Taliban looking right right now? What's their presence
- 22:05Speaker 1: in Afghanistan? The Pentagon spokesman actually contradicts Biden because Biden
- 22:13Speaker 1: made up another lie in his press conference today. I mean,
- 22:18Speaker 1: they can't even keep their their lies straight at this point.
- 22:23Speaker 1: There's too many of them. Listen to the Pentagon spokesman
- 22:28Speaker 1: contradicting Biden, Biden said, no, we don't. We're's so isis
- 22:33Speaker 1: in al Kada president in Afghanistan. Ah, No, no that's
- 22:36Speaker 1: not true. Less than an hour later, the Pentagon says
- 22:39Speaker 1: this when they're asked the same question, exact intelligence estimates
- 22:43Speaker 1: about how many Al Qaida remain in Afghanist. We know
- 22:46Speaker 1: that al Qaida is a presence as well as ISIS
- 22:50Speaker 1: in Afghanistan, and we've talked about that for quite some time.
- 22:53Speaker 1: We do not believe it is exorbitantly high, but we
- 22:55Speaker 1: don't have an exact figure for you. As I think
- 22:58Speaker 1: you might understand, Jen, it's not like they they carry
- 23:00Speaker 1: identification cards in register somewhere. We don't have a perfect picture,
- 23:04Speaker 1: and our ability, our intelligence gathering ability in Afghanistan isn't
- 23:10Speaker 1: what it used to be because we aren't there in
- 23:12Speaker 1: the same with the same numbers that we used to be.
- 23:14Speaker 1: But the President just said that there is no Al
- 23:16Speaker 1: Qaeda presence in Afghanistan. That does not seem to be correct.
- 23:20Speaker 1: What we don't think is that, what we believe is
- 23:24Speaker 1: that there isn't a presence that is significant enough to
- 23:29Speaker 1: merit a threat to our homeland as there was back
- 23:32Speaker 1: on nine to eleven, twenty years ago. The President also
- 23:35Speaker 1: said there is no national security interests, no national interests
- 23:39Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. I'm a little confused by that. Can you
- 23:42Speaker 1: explain why there's no national interests in Aghanistan? Why did
- 23:48Speaker 1: we have troops there for twenty years? If there's no
- 23:50Speaker 1: national interests in Afghanistan? We had we had a significant
- 23:52Speaker 1: interest in being in Afghanistan to our national security. Twenty
- 23:56Speaker 1: years ago. You've heard the President talk about this, the
- 23:59Speaker 1: goal to defeat and decimate al Kada, also to prevent
- 24:05Speaker 1: al Qaeda from launching attacks on the homeland from Afghanistan,
- 24:08Speaker 1: and we did that we did that and a whole
- 24:11Speaker 1: heck of a lot more over the course of twenty years,
- 24:13Speaker 1: and to include helping with social, political, economic, just progress
- 24:19Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. The President decided that it was time to
- 24:23Speaker 1: end this conflict. That there was really only two choices
- 24:28Speaker 1: because of the May one deadline. Either plus up because
- 24:31Speaker 1: after May first we would come under attack by the
- 24:33Speaker 1: Taliban and we hadn't since the Doha agreement had been signed.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Or or go ahead and complete the drawdown. And the
- 24:41Speaker 1: decision was made to complete the draw down. Now I
- 24:45Speaker 1: love this, by the way, this guy literally is stuttering
- 24:50Speaker 1: after the reporter says, but the President just said there
- 24:52Speaker 1: is no al Qaeda presence in Afghanistan. That does not
- 24:56Speaker 1: seem to be correct, Pentagon spokesman. What we don't think
- 25:01Speaker 1: is what we believe is that there isn't a presence
- 25:05Speaker 1: that is significant enough to merit a threat to our
- 25:08Speaker 1: homeland as there was back on nine eleven, twenty years ago.
- 25:13Speaker 1: They're not even on the same page about al Qaida. Folks.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Maybe Osama bin Laden was really smart because Osama bin
- 25:22Speaker 1: Laden said to al Qaeda, whatever you do, don't assassinate
- 25:26Speaker 1: Joe Biden, because he believed he would be an incompetent
- 25:30Speaker 1: president and lead the US into crisis. That was in
- 25:33Speaker 1: his own words and his own writings that we seize
- 25:36Speaker 1: from his compound back in two eleven after we killed him.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Joe Biden also said he has no indication that there
- 25:44Speaker 1: are any issues for Americans getting to the Kabbel airport.
- 25:47Speaker 1: We now know that is a lie. We have no
- 25:50Speaker 1: indication that they haven't been able to get incomble through
- 25:53Speaker 1: the airport. We've made an agreement with the with the Taliban.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Thus far they've allowed them to go through. It's and
- 25:58Speaker 1: they're interesting to go through. So we know of no
- 26:01Speaker 1: circumstance where American citizens are carrying an American passport are
- 26:07Speaker 1: trying to get through to the airport. But we will
- 26:09Speaker 1: do whatever it needs to be done to see to
- 26:11Speaker 1: what they get to the airport. Again, he knew that
- 26:14Speaker 1: was a lie when he said it. He also knew
- 26:17Speaker 1: it was a lie when he said that Alkaia is
- 26:19Speaker 1: not in the country. Okada is in the country, Olkaida
- 26:23Speaker 1: is in the country. He said that Alkaida is not
- 26:27Speaker 1: in the country. Yes, it is now to totally just
- 26:33Speaker 1: put into perspective the insanity of this press conference today.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Joe Biden actually forgot the first question from the first
- 26:43Speaker 1: reporter after he called on the reporter today at the
- 26:47Speaker 1: White House. The first part of your question was, I
- 26:50Speaker 1: can't remember now that's your president. The first part of
- 26:55Speaker 1: your question, I can't remember now. Really, that's what you've got.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's what you've got. That's it. Lindsey Graham has said
- 27:09Speaker 1: he believes that the Taliban he figures has given us
- 27:12Speaker 1: an ultimatum, an ultimatum that they are going to start
- 27:17Speaker 1: attacking us. They've already started it, hitting and beating Americans.
- 27:20Speaker 1: What happens when they start killing Americans? So that seems
- 27:23Speaker 1: like the perfect jumping off point to bring in Senator
- 27:25Speaker 1: Lindsay Graham, who has been to Afghanistan many times as
- 27:29Speaker 1: a former member of the Armed Services Committee, and he
- 27:31Speaker 1: served in Afghanistan as an Air Force Reserve colonel. Senator Graham,
- 27:34Speaker 1: good to have you with us today. I thought that
- 27:37Speaker 1: was an astonishing comment in many ways, just in terms
- 27:41Speaker 1: of the reality of the situation, and I want to
- 27:45Speaker 1: hear your reaction to that first, and then some other
- 27:47Speaker 1: points that he made. Well. Number One, President Boden is
- 27:51Speaker 1: clearly disconnected from the reality on the ground in Afghanistan.
- 27:55Speaker 1: The UN issued a report just a month or two
- 27:58Speaker 1: ago saying that al kay was in fifteen provinces of Afghanistan.
- 28:03Speaker 1: After this debacle, they're going to be everywhere. He also
- 28:07Speaker 1: said he I'm gonna hold him to his word that
- 28:09Speaker 1: we're going to get all the Americans out and all
- 28:12Speaker 1: the Afghan's out. He said that, but look what's going
- 28:15Speaker 1: on on the ground. The State Department has issued a
- 28:17Speaker 1: statement today, you travel at your own peril. We can't
- 28:22Speaker 1: guarantee your safety, and the gates at the Kabbol Airport
- 28:25Speaker 1: may close at any minute. So the State Department is
- 28:28Speaker 1: telling people on the ground your own your own and
- 28:31Speaker 1: the President of United States is promising to get you out.
- 28:34Speaker 1: There is no plan. President Biden is clearly overwhelmed by
- 28:38Speaker 1: the situation, and I think he's in denial about what's
- 28:42Speaker 1: going on. But because al Qaeda is there and there's
- 28:45Speaker 1: clearly no plan. If there were a plan, but by
- 28:47Speaker 1: the way, this idea that he's in denial, I got
- 28:49Speaker 1: to disagree with. I don't think he cares. I don't
- 28:55Speaker 1: think he cares because if he acts, cared, right, if
- 29:02Speaker 1: he cared, then he beginning these American troops to go
- 29:07Speaker 1: out into the city and get the Americans that are
- 29:10Speaker 1: being held back by the Taliban right now. And do
- 29:14Speaker 1: you think a mother would be handing their baby over
- 29:16Speaker 1: the wall to a marine. No, because they know the
- 29:19Speaker 1: reality and they understand that the Taliban has not changed
- 29:22Speaker 1: his stripes and that they may And maybe, by the way,
- 29:26Speaker 1: part of this, maybe that he'd just gotten so and
- 29:30Speaker 1: just old, like, hey, I got the Holy Grail or
- 29:34Speaker 1: excuse me, I became the president United's America. I don't
- 29:36Speaker 1: care if these americansistants die. I'm too old now to
- 29:38Speaker 1: even care, Like I've just become forty plus years. You're
- 29:43Speaker 1: just numb, I'm right at this point, you're numb, like
- 29:46Speaker 1: you've gone through Vietnam. Remember he was a senator when
- 29:49Speaker 1: Vietnam happened and the Debacle of Vietnam happened, and the
- 29:52Speaker 1: pullout of Vietnam happened, and Saigan happened. He was there
- 29:58Speaker 1: when Iran hostage crisis was happening as a senator. At
- 30:04Speaker 1: this point, like, does he even give a crap anymore?
- 30:08Speaker 1: I would say probably not. So out they might even
- 30:13Speaker 1: be cooperative in some ways in terms of letting people leave,
- 30:17Speaker 1: although we've seen them also very violent at times when
- 30:21Speaker 1: when they see fit. You know, I want to just
- 30:23Speaker 1: talk about the Afghani people and the commitment that you
- 30:27Speaker 1: talked about that the President made there right because he
- 30:30Speaker 1: said we will we will get you home. That was
- 30:32Speaker 1: a clear message to Americans. But when he when he
- 30:34Speaker 1: was pressed a little bit on the Afghans who helped us,
- 30:37Speaker 1: he sort of left, I think some doors open to
- 30:40Speaker 1: maybe not help all of those people. Right. So he
- 30:43Speaker 1: was asked, we just stay past the August thirty first
- 30:45Speaker 1: deadline because we all know that, you know, to get
- 30:47Speaker 1: thousands and thousands of people out in the next ten
- 30:49Speaker 1: days is going to be tricky. He said, yeah, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: think we can get the Afghans out in time. And
- 30:55Speaker 1: then he said, but you know, but we'll see about
- 30:57Speaker 1: the deadline. We'll see then just one more and I
- 31:00Speaker 1: want to put out there on the table for you.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let me just say this, then, last thing. I think
- 31:06Speaker 1: he is so hell bent on having that date of well,
- 31:10Speaker 1: at least we're out. People may have died, but at
- 31:12Speaker 1: least we're out by September eleventh, on the twentieth anniversary,
- 31:17Speaker 1: that he doesn't care what happens to anyone right now.
- 31:21Speaker 1: As long as we're out, just get out. I really
- 31:26Speaker 1: think that's all he cares about. Like that's it, which
- 31:30Speaker 1: is honestly the scariest part of all of this. All right,
