- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like amazing bus things and it's not good.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve Hartley, I don't join jo You gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn out. You gotta turn to turn them out, got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out, to turn the water the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing, huh, I sure will. A
- 2:04Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only is Steve Harvey. Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 1: because God in the blessing business. Yeah, that's all. I'm
- 2:18Speaker 1: just a recipient. Steve Harvey got a radio show because
- 2:21Speaker 1: God is in the show you favor business. He showed
- 2:26Speaker 1: me some favor. Steve Harvey got a radio show because
- 2:30Speaker 1: God is in the forgiving business. God and forgave me
- 2:36Speaker 1: thousands and thousands of times, you know. And I say
- 2:43Speaker 1: that as a big number like that, because it's probably true.
- 2:47Speaker 1: God is a forgiving God. That's how I exist today,
- 2:50Speaker 1: and that's how you exist today. And one of the
- 2:53Speaker 1: things I want to remind you about even in existing today,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you know, Joel Oldstein had a has a book out
- 2:59Speaker 1: called It's Your Time. I love this book. It's called
- 3:03Speaker 1: It's Your Time. And that's kind of what I want
- 3:06Speaker 1: to touch you on today. And I want to remind
- 3:08Speaker 1: you all that it's still your time. See, you know,
- 3:15Speaker 1: there's look, you know, they've got unsuccessful people have created
- 3:21Speaker 1: a lot of sayings to justify our failures as people. Well,
- 3:28Speaker 1: my ship has passed. That that was created by a
- 3:33Speaker 1: person who did not quite make their goal in the
- 3:38Speaker 1: amount of time that they had set for. So to
- 3:40Speaker 1: justify it, here comes this great, seemingly very clever saying,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and a lot of us adapt, Well, my ship has passed,
- 3:48Speaker 1: so we adopt that. Here's another one. Well, I guess
- 3:52Speaker 1: it just wasn't meant to be. That sounds good, don't it,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Because they mix it up with a little bit of
- 3:59Speaker 1: faith base in it. I guessed it wasn't. Well, here's
- 4:03Speaker 1: another one. I guess if God wanted it for me,
- 4:06Speaker 1: i'd have it. Are you serious? Man? Are you serious?
- 4:12Speaker 1: You're actually gonna use that one to to to justify
- 4:18Speaker 1: where you are in life? Man? That's that's so, that's
- 4:22Speaker 1: so not the case. I want to remind everybody today
- 4:26Speaker 1: that it's still your time. That you know your ship
- 4:31Speaker 1: hasn't sailed, you didn't miss all of your opportunities. There's others.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's still your time. You know you still got a chance,
- 4:44Speaker 1: You still have a shot. Here's a good one. You
- 4:49Speaker 1: still have hope, you do all of you. As long
- 4:56Speaker 1: as God is who he is, there's always hope for you.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You can never lose sight of that. You can never
- 5:05Speaker 1: let the devil win that battle that there is no
- 5:08Speaker 1: hope for you and cause you to do something that's unthinkable.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm just gonna cash in the chips. I'm gonna take
- 5:19Speaker 1: my life. I'm gonna commit suicide. No, no, no, wait
- 5:21Speaker 1: a second, Wait a second, Are you for real? That's
- 5:25Speaker 1: not God talking to you. That's something wrong and it's
- 5:29Speaker 1: not coming from him. It's still your time. You still
- 5:35Speaker 1: got a chance. There's always hope. But listen to me.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You got to move and you got to move on it.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So many people are not getting the full benefit of
- 5:48Speaker 1: their life, and so many people are not getting all
- 5:51Speaker 1: the blessings that God has for because you keep waiting
- 5:55Speaker 1: on the perfect time. Man, how many times have I
- 5:57Speaker 1: heard people come to me and say, Man, I'm just
- 6:00Speaker 1: waiting on everything to line up right, Man, I'm waiting
- 6:04Speaker 1: on the perfect time to get He can't tell you something.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If I were waiting on the perfect time, I wouldn't
- 6:12Speaker 1: be hardly any of the things that I've become. And
- 6:17Speaker 1: one of my greatest blessings was marrying Marjorie. I wouldn't
- 6:23Speaker 1: even have married Marjorie if I was waiting on the
- 6:27Speaker 1: perfect time, because I had gone through what I thought
- 6:30Speaker 1: was enough misery to cover my entire lifetime. And so
- 6:36Speaker 1: when I was first divorced, I just said, man, it's
- 6:42Speaker 1: gonna be five six years before I do this again.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I said it two years later I was married. But
- 6:53Speaker 1: guess what, man, it wasn't the perfect time. I didn't
- 6:57Speaker 1: have my ducks, all my ducks lined up in the role.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It was still some things I needed to clean up.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I even told her, it's some things I want to
- 7:06Speaker 1: clean up out of my life before you know it's
- 7:09Speaker 1: it's I want I want to make sure I got
- 7:12Speaker 1: all the stars are lined up, you know, I want
- 7:14Speaker 1: to I want to wait until all the ducks are
- 7:16Speaker 1: in a row. I was waiting on the perfect time.
- 7:20Speaker 1: If I had not stopped and Marjorie and I had
- 7:24Speaker 1: set out and said to each other. There will be
- 7:27Speaker 1: no perfect time. And then she said, I'll go through
- 7:31Speaker 1: with you whatever you're going through. That was it. I
- 7:37Speaker 1: took a chance. The ducks were not lined up in
- 7:41Speaker 1: a row. I had a lot of baggage in my life, man,
- 7:45Speaker 1: I wanted to try to clear up. I want to
- 7:47Speaker 1: do some things financially different. I wanted to just get
- 7:51Speaker 1: rid of some residue I had in my life. She said, no,
- 7:55Speaker 1: we'll do it together, because they ain't no perfect time.
- 7:59Speaker 1: And guess what it was it So, if you're out
- 8:01Speaker 1: there waiting on the perfect time to do something, it
- 8:05Speaker 1: may not come. There is no such thing as waiting
- 8:08Speaker 1: on the perfect time. I've said this a hundred times,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and here comes one oh one. The road to success
- 8:15Speaker 1: is always under construction. You ain't gonna go out there
- 8:18Speaker 1: and there ain't no barrels on the road. You're not
- 8:20Speaker 1: going out there and not running to deet to a sign.
- 8:22Speaker 1: You're not going out there without seeing the men working
- 8:25Speaker 1: signed to get off. You're not going out there to
- 8:28Speaker 1: see it. So guess what. Stop waiting on the stars.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I got man, this is a perfect time to do
- 8:34Speaker 1: it now. If you're waiting on the perfect time, that
- 8:38Speaker 1: could be one of your biggest problems. You're still waiting.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You have got to move and you've got to move
- 8:43Speaker 1: on it, and you've got to make a decision to
- 8:46Speaker 1: go now. God will get you through everything necessary for
- 8:50Speaker 1: you to get through. But you can't quit though. See
- 8:54Speaker 1: here's a disapart. You can't quit just because the road
- 8:58Speaker 1: you're own is under construction. You can get off at
- 9:00Speaker 1: the exit because you're tired of all the bump of
- 9:03Speaker 1: the bumper traffic. It's that way. Get you some God,
- 9:07Speaker 1: like I said, get you some God, and go on
- 9:10Speaker 1: and go see what your life can be like. So
- 9:13Speaker 1: stop waiting on the perfect time, Stop waiting on the
- 9:16Speaker 1: stars to align themselves. You got to move and you
- 9:19Speaker 1: got to move on it. Get you some God, apply
- 9:23Speaker 1: some faith, and get started. And remember when you get
- 9:26Speaker 1: out there, coming towards your goal, the road to construct,
- 9:29Speaker 1: the road to success is always under construction. If it
- 9:33Speaker 1: was easy, everybody would be it. Stop expecting it to
- 9:36Speaker 1: be easy. Come on out here, get up in this thing.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It's funky out here. Yeah I got all that. It's
- 9:40Speaker 1: hard out here, yeah I got all that. But what
- 9:43Speaker 1: you wanna do, man, what you wanna do you're gonna
- 9:47Speaker 1: push your chips up to the window. It ain't time
- 9:50Speaker 1: for that. You still got time, you still got a chance.
- 9:52Speaker 1: There's always hope, there's always God. That's my conversation today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, everybody, Let's not make a big
- 10:04Speaker 1: deal about it. He is back, he is back, he
- 10:06Speaker 1: is back, he is back. Don't make a big deal
- 10:10Speaker 1: about it. What's going on, Shirley Sawberry? Hey, welcome back, Jake.
- 10:16Speaker 1: This is a big deal. Welcome back, Welcome back. What's up?

- 10:27Speaker 1: Bro Bro? You back my partner in sick? What's up, Junior?
- 10:33Speaker 1: I don't ask black people that to say nothing? They know?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Welcome back. Yeah, we're gonna say something. And last, but
- 10:39Speaker 1: not least, he is the king, not the king, the
- 10:42Speaker 1: King up pranks, y'all put your hands together. But mister
- 10:45Speaker 1: Thomas Miles, y'all, who's just talking to me? Who's here, Papa? Who?
- 10:56Speaker 1: Welcome back? Man. It's good to be back, man, it's
- 11:00Speaker 1: good to be bad man. Weird to hurt you back? Brother?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Did you go out of town doing some CIA stuff?
- 11:08Speaker 1: I don''t to talk about it right now. He worked
- 11:10Speaker 1: put it. He worked. He worked for the government, some
- 11:13Speaker 1: them and undercover stuff. I was doing. Okay, all right,
- 11:16Speaker 1: if you tell me you have to kill me, I
- 11:18Speaker 1: get it, okay. Yeah, if I told you I had
- 11:21Speaker 1: to hurt you, yeah, I'm not ready for a right.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You like, we're kind of like a double O selm
- 11:27Speaker 1: or something. You what you you you're nine double low nine.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It was more deadly. Well, we missed you, Jay, We
- 11:43Speaker 1: certainly did. A lot of things happened while you were

- 12:09Speaker 1: you know, you know that, you know that revolving though
- 12:11Speaker 1: when you're going to stow and you just keep the kids,
- 12:12Speaker 1: get the plane and you keep around. That's all he did.
- 12:16Speaker 1: He just went around a couple of time. Back out
- 12:18Speaker 1: of there. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't have enough time to
- 12:21Speaker 1: print out my free Justustee T shirt. Nothing again nothing.
- 12:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I want to go to jail though,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I want to go to deal like that. I don't
- 12:27Speaker 1: think you did. Don't start taking the roles. Don't start
- 12:32Speaker 1: taking roles where you were thug now, jest, don't do
- 12:35Speaker 1: good for him. I think he was in love enough.
- 12:38Speaker 1: That's damn. Yeah, learn something anywhere you're gonna learn today,

- 14:40Speaker 1: This this right here, man is like what I know
- 14:43Speaker 1: this man, and it's you know, it just seems like
- 14:45Speaker 1: every single day, you know, while she's on her lunch break,
- 14:49Speaker 1: it seems like, you know, you would call and and
- 14:52Speaker 1: and uh and then blocked up the whole hour of
- 14:55Speaker 1: her lunch break. And actually, you know, just be real, man,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I'm just trying to come correct with you. It just

- 25:51Speaker 1: I teach third grade and the parents transferred their child
- 25:55Speaker 1: to another teacher's class. Do I try to talk to
- 25:59Speaker 1: the parents or is it too late to try and
- 26:01Speaker 1: fix this? Um, you need to get your class together
- 26:06Speaker 1: and let this be a teachable lesson. Really, really, that's
- 26:10Speaker 1: what this needed. You need slides, you need grabs, you
- 26:14Speaker 1: need pictures, and let the kids know that when they
- 26:18Speaker 1: reached his age, they will be doing some nasty things

- 28:00Speaker 1: in the park to catch me? Yeah? They were just
- 28:07Speaker 1: walking in the park. This is a good time to
- 28:09Speaker 1: ask how to how the child is doing in class though,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I mean, you're right, there is there anything we can
- 28:16Speaker 1: do with parents to help you to you? How's that
- 28:20Speaker 1: I'm doing with man or jay or knock on the window? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 38:40Speaker 1: Welcome back baby. Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 38:42Speaker 1: the hour. White students at a North Carolina school. How
- 38:46Speaker 1: the mock slave auction? That's right, I said, a mock
- 38:49Speaker 1: slave auction with black classmates. We'll talk about it right
- 38:53Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to morning show. A parent has
- 39:00Speaker 1: condemned a North Carolina school after her son and his
- 39:03Speaker 1: fellow black students were quote unquote sold at a mock
- 39:08Speaker 1: slave auction by their white classmates. Now, this is according
- 39:11Speaker 1: to reports. This happened at Water School in Gholston, North Carolina,
- 39:15Speaker 1: which had one hundred and ninety five students, sixty eight
- 39:18Speaker 1: percent of whom are white. What is going on at
- 39:22Speaker 1: this school? The parent, who is white, reported that her
- 39:26Speaker 1: son experienced a slave auction by his classmates, and her
- 39:29Speaker 1: son told her that his friend went for three hundred
- 39:32Speaker 1: and fifty dollars and another student was a slave master
- 39:36Speaker 1: because he knew how to handle them. Huh, the overseer,
- 39:40Speaker 1: what is going on? The parents stated there was a
- 39:42Speaker 1: video taken by one of the students and the white
- 39:45Speaker 1: students in the video were harmonizing the N word. The
- 39:48Speaker 1: students involved in the racist stunt only received a one
- 39:51Speaker 1: day suspension, not enough, that's correct, which sparked outrage in
- 39:56Speaker 1: the community. Earlier this week, the Chatham School County Schools
- 40:00Speaker 1: pretended Anthony Jackson apologized and ordered immediate action to prevent
- 40:05Speaker 1: similar activities from happening again, and that one should have
- 40:08Speaker 1: never happened. That one should have never happened, and he
- 40:12Speaker 1: should be serious, he should be spended, he should be
- 40:17Speaker 1: expelled for a day. That's that's one day nothing. One
- 40:23Speaker 1: day suspension. Yeah, that's not a Please throw an auction
- 40:28Speaker 1: around my ass and watch how I go. Please vote,
- 40:31Speaker 1: Please throw an auction I promise, and I hope the
- 40:35Speaker 1: person that knows how to handle him, I hope he there.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Please show the auction. It's not gonna go I promise you.
- 40:41Speaker 1: It's gonna take me three. Please the auction on me.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I'm moving, master's ass. That's what I'm doing. That's what
- 40:50Speaker 1: we're doing, right. I know one thing, if if this
- 40:53Speaker 1: is my mama, if this is my mama, come on
- 40:56Speaker 1: to school the next day, because we're gonna be selling
- 40:58Speaker 1: white folks. I promise we're gonna be selling white folks
- 41:02Speaker 1: that very next day. And the principal getting sold all
- 41:07Speaker 1: the teentious students. I promise, Alicia Kara gonna sell all
- 41:11Speaker 1: of them, your heart feel. I bet you the suspension
- 41:14Speaker 1: gonna be longer than a day. Yeah. Yeah. And and
- 41:20Speaker 1: to the kids, to the black kids who don't know
- 41:22Speaker 1: about slavery and auctions and selling and being sold and
- 41:26Speaker 1: all of that. You gotta know your history, you know,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you gotta. I mean, I know these are kids, but
- 41:32Speaker 1: this is not the way parents. Yeah, we have to
- 41:39Speaker 1: know our history. We have to. This is craziness because
- 41:43Speaker 1: if they knew, I can't Yeah, if they knew, I
- 41:45Speaker 1: can't imagine them participating in a in a mock slave auction.
- 41:49Speaker 1: If they knew they kids, you know, their parents talked
- 41:52Speaker 1: them about slaves and auctions. Yeah, yeah, someone obviously didn't
- 41:59Speaker 1: know or they wouldn't have participated. Let's get to the
- 42:02Speaker 1: real question. When is the next off? That's all we
- 42:05Speaker 1: wanted to know. What is that scheduled? The superintendent, as
- 42:10Speaker 1: I mentioned, ordered immediate action to prevent similar activities like
- 42:15Speaker 1: this from happening, so there will not be another auction.
- 42:19Speaker 1: To answer your question, well, let me tell y'all similar
- 42:23Speaker 1: story down in um Home of Louisiana, which is right
- 42:27Speaker 1: outside of New Orleans. You know where that is. Yeah,
- 42:30Speaker 1: I have family that that is from there. This white
- 42:34Speaker 1: student was it was a cafeteria setting and he was
- 42:38Speaker 1: throwing cotton and he had a belt and he was
- 42:41Speaker 1: hitting Did you see that a black student? Did you
- 42:46Speaker 1: see that? Yeah? But the black student his friend got
- 42:52Speaker 1: up in this white boy out the door of the
- 42:57Speaker 1: school that jumped on him. I said, see, you picked
- 42:59Speaker 1: the wrong one on that day. Yeah. And no, we're
- 43:03Speaker 1: not promote promote violence or anything like this. But come on, okay, yeah, slavery,
- 43:09Speaker 1: We're not slavery in twenty twenty two, Stop that We
- 43:13Speaker 1: don't promote bottles, but we're whooping your ans as soon
- 43:15Speaker 1: as you do something like this here and you grow
- 43:17Speaker 1: some cotting at me and try to get burn lap
- 43:23Speaker 1: anything that remotely reminds us something, and whoop that ass
- 43:27Speaker 1: in that back hallway where don't nobody see you. You
- 43:29Speaker 1: know that, so you can't get suspended or expelled. Camera's
- 43:34Speaker 1: not ja down. You get up on them stairs though
- 43:40Speaker 1: somewhere there's a camera and missing. You get under them stands.
- 43:42Speaker 1: You can you whip the man all right? Coming up
- 43:45Speaker 1: next to it is the nephew. We're moving on from this,
- 43:48Speaker 1: the nephew and the Frank phone call for today. Right
- 43:50Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Coming up at about four minutes after the hour. It's
- 43:58Speaker 1: my Strawberry letter for today. The subject is he's in
- 44:02Speaker 1: a situationship with his wife. We'll get into that find
- 44:06Speaker 1: out what that's all about. I think I know right
- 44:10Speaker 1: now it is time for the nephew and today it's
- 44:13Speaker 1: Frank phone call. What you got for its Nash, Let's
- 44:18Speaker 1: see here you would turn to the book of stupid
- 44:27Speaker 1: already already in there doctor nine, verse twelve m It
- 44:33Speaker 1: reads no spring break A right break? All right, cat dog?
- 44:39Speaker 1: If you would hello, Hello, I'm trying to read speaking.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Who is this als? It's his U, mister Roland Barn
- 44:49Speaker 1: assistant principal here at academy or your daughter? Are USU? Goes? Yes?
- 44:56Speaker 1: What's going on? Is everything okay? Everything is trying to well?
- 45:00Speaker 1: Let me be honest, it's not good right now. I
- 45:04Speaker 1: wanted to call and actually have a private conversation with
- 45:08Speaker 1: you about Aisha. Oh good, all right, tell me what's
- 45:12Speaker 1: going on. What's going on Aisha? Well, as you know
- 45:16Speaker 1: spring break is going to be coming up in March,
- 45:19Speaker 1: you do not that, right, Yeah, I'm aware of that.
- 45:21Speaker 1: She's looking for. Yeah, well, we have a bit of
- 45:26Speaker 1: an issue here. I have done some research and I'm
- 45:29Speaker 1: looking at all of the kids and how they're going,
- 45:31Speaker 1: how well they're doing when their school works, and i
- 45:33Speaker 1: Usha doesn't seem to be doing well as should be
- 45:39Speaker 1: living up to the expectations of the academy. And what
- 45:42Speaker 1: we're going to have to do this spring break is
- 45:45Speaker 1: I Usue will not be allowed to take a spring
- 45:48Speaker 1: break with the rest of the kids. We're gonna need
- 45:50Speaker 1: her to come into school. And there's several kids that
- 45:53Speaker 1: are not going to be able to go on spring break,
- 45:56Speaker 1: and I used to happen to be one of them.
- 45:58Speaker 1: There's at least the fifty kids that will be coming
- 46:01Speaker 1: to school that entire week that spring break is the
- 46:05Speaker 1: most of the kids are out on spring break. You
- 46:07Speaker 1: have to be mistaken. I mean, my daughter is a
- 46:10Speaker 1: straight age student. Uh, she is actually the only at
- 46:16Speaker 1: the academy man. And I you know, I've looked at
- 46:20Speaker 1: her her grades in the past. She's had some great,
- 46:23Speaker 1: so wonderful grades in the past. I don't know what's
- 46:26Speaker 1: taking place this semester um that she just seems to
- 46:31Speaker 1: have dropped the ball. And what we want to do is,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you know, keep these kids focused. As you know, you
- 46:37Speaker 1: have to be accepted to be here at this particular school.
- 46:40Speaker 1: So you know, it leaves me no no other outlet
- 46:43Speaker 1: but to have her come in and we're gonna buckle
- 46:47Speaker 1: down and try to get them back on track. So
- 46:49Speaker 1: I wanted to personally give you a call and let
- 46:52Speaker 1: you know what's going on in Iesha here at the Academy,
- 46:55Speaker 1: and we're we're this terrible. This is absolutely terrible. I
- 46:58Speaker 1: mean we are here already in January and I'm getting
- 47:01Speaker 1: a call that my daughter is not doing good, and
- 47:03Speaker 1: now you're gonna tell me that she can't go on
- 47:04Speaker 1: a spring break trip in March if she I mean,
- 47:07Speaker 1: as far as I'm just saying, my daughter straight, as
- 47:09Speaker 1: straight as, she's an amazing student, she does really hard work.
- 47:13Speaker 1: She always afford to going to school. And I get
- 47:15Speaker 1: a call today that she can't go in March. Well,
- 47:18Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta be kidding me. I mean, we're
- 47:20Speaker 1: I don't. Are you going somewhere in March, ma'am? I don't.
- 47:23Speaker 1: I'm you're saying going somewhere on a trip, But are you?
- 47:25Speaker 1: Are you scheduling going on a trip. I'm not going anywhere.
- 47:28Speaker 1: She's going on a trip. I'm giving her full permission
- 47:30Speaker 1: to go on a trip. Okay, Well, unfortunately, I'm re
- 47:34Speaker 1: question that she's at school. So I don't know if
- 47:39Speaker 1: your trip costs you a lot of money or if
- 47:40Speaker 1: you can get a refund. But I'm calling you letting
- 47:43Speaker 1: you know I need her there on March eleven in
- 47:47Speaker 1: the classroom so we can buckle down and try to
- 47:49Speaker 1: get her back on track. No, what I'm telling you,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I paid for the trip and she's going on the trip.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, and then I don't appreciate phone call because
- 47:57Speaker 1: it's so late in the game. I'm sorry. She's going
- 48:00Speaker 1: jet No miss says she's not going on a trip.
- 48:03Speaker 1: She's actually gonna be coming into school and she'll be
- 48:06Speaker 1: the March eleventh, from Monday through Friday. Now, I don't
- 48:09Speaker 1: know who you're talking to. That's my child, I'm telling
- 48:13Speaker 1: but she's your child. But she's my student. And right now,
- 48:17Speaker 1: all of my students are gonna be that are that
- 48:19Speaker 1: are not doing well in their in their classes, are
- 48:22Speaker 1: gonna be there during spring break and they're gonna get
- 48:25Speaker 1: their business together. What are you telling me? Like you're
- 48:28Speaker 1: reprimanding me, like I'm a child. Okay, now she's gone. No,
- 48:34Speaker 1: she's not going on a trip, and you're telling me
- 48:36Speaker 1: what you're trying to override in my position, and that's
- 48:39Speaker 1: what's not gonna happen. She has to be there. You
- 48:42Speaker 1: might as well start looking for a refund because she's
- 48:45Speaker 1: not gonna not be there so I didn't need her
- 48:48Speaker 1: there Monday through Friday of spring break so we can
- 48:51Speaker 1: get her back on course. Listen, I don't you think
- 48:54Speaker 1: you're talking to I have the ultimate position over even you.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That's my daughter. That's my daughter. I get to tell her,
- 49:02Speaker 1: you what I'm doing her, and she's going on that trip.
- 49:04Speaker 1: You're out of here. Happens out not sending my daughter
- 49:09Speaker 1: on the trip. Sorry, not happening. I'm telling you right now,
- 49:13Speaker 1: she's not going on a trip to how she is
- 49:17Speaker 1: almost she's not. I'm gonna seek when I used to
- 49:19Speaker 1: tomorrow and let her know where you're not gonna tell
- 49:23Speaker 1: my daughter, damn thing. I'm telling her she's not going
- 49:26Speaker 1: on a spring break trip. You know why because of grade.
- 49:30Speaker 1: They're not up to bar. She needs to be more
- 49:32Speaker 1: concerned about her grade and not going and hanging out.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You're all be gagging around wherever you're sending her. No,
- 49:38Speaker 1: it's not happening. I want all of my students with
- 49:40Speaker 1: passing grade. I'm a one hundred assistant principal and all
- 49:45Speaker 1: my kids pass. What are you trying to convince yourself
- 49:48Speaker 1: that you're important? Is I'm thinking me a break? He's
- 49:50Speaker 1: like a baby. My daughter is going on the trip.
- 49:52Speaker 1: And that's finally hear me. Okay, you know what I'm
- 49:55Speaker 1: speak when I used to tomorrow morning. No you're not. Yes,
- 49:58Speaker 1: I will now here's the deal. I will leave you this.
- 50:02Speaker 1: If i USA does not show up Monday through spring break,
- 50:06Speaker 1: then maybe you're gonna have to find out issue another school.
- 50:10Speaker 1: You're threatening me. Now you're threatening me. You're threatening to
- 50:14Speaker 1: kick my daughter out of school because of a spring break.
- 50:16Speaker 1: If your daughter's not here doing spring break Monday through
- 50:20Speaker 1: friday's get out of here, please, I'd like to see
- 50:24Speaker 1: you try that. Give me a break your scu I
- 50:27Speaker 1: think this conversation is old. When my next conversation will
- 50:29Speaker 1: be with Isha. That's what she's going to spring break.
- 50:32Speaker 1: She's staying in the school. If you do something about it,
- 50:34Speaker 1: I will have people pickting outside your your school. You're
- 50:37Speaker 1: talking about nonsense. My daughter does great in school and
- 50:40Speaker 1: she's going on a trip, and that's it. Will break
- 50:43Speaker 1: and stole Monday through Friday, start spring break. You're talking
- 50:49Speaker 1: to who are you yelling at like that? Are you mine?
- 50:53Speaker 1: I swear the guy about over that kick your What
- 50:56Speaker 1: the fuck is wrong with you? You know you're out
- 50:58Speaker 1: of control. I don't get what he's talking to you
- 51:04Speaker 1: know what? You know what? You know what you told
- 51:06Speaker 1: me about you? Do? You know what he's like? Tell
- 51:08Speaker 1: me what did he tell you. She told me to
- 51:11Speaker 1: play phone called you his nephew. Tell me from my daughter,
- 51:20Speaker 1: you shit go hype but pressure over here. Oh my god,
- 51:34Speaker 1: are you good your baby girl? Yep, that's awesome. Oh
- 51:42Speaker 1: my god. I was really gonna go over there. You up.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I can't believe this, my god. Okay, I gotta ask
- 51:49Speaker 1: you something. This. I mean, the baddest radio show in

- 53:49Speaker 1: Subject he's in a situationship with his wife. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:54Speaker 1: I'm a thirty six year old single woman and I'm
- 53:57Speaker 1: dating a man that has been separated from his wife
- 54:00Speaker 1: for four years, but they are not divorced. He lives
- 54:04Speaker 1: in their family home and she's moved out. I asked
- 54:08Speaker 1: him why his wife was the one to move out
- 54:10Speaker 1: of their home, and he said because she cheated on
- 54:12Speaker 1: him and ended up moving in with the guy. I
- 54:16Speaker 1: was afraid to sleep over at his house for the
- 54:19Speaker 1: first few months, but he assured me that his marriage
- 54:22Speaker 1: was over. I eventually got a key to the house,
- 54:25Speaker 1: and then he gave me my own drawer for my
- 54:28Speaker 1: pajamas and a few personal things so I could stay over.
- 54:33Speaker 1: All right, I assumed we were in a real relationship
- 54:36Speaker 1: and I trusted him well. For MLK holiday weekend, he
- 54:39Speaker 1: had a house party and I got to meet a
- 54:42Speaker 1: lot of his friends. I found out near the end
- 54:44Speaker 1: of the night that his wife was there when one
- 54:47Speaker 1: of his male friends joked about how cool it was
- 54:50Speaker 1: for me and the wife to be at the same party.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I asked my man where his wife was, and he
- 54:55Speaker 1: says she was lying down in their guests room because
- 54:57Speaker 1: she had had too much to drink. I went to check,
- 55:01Speaker 1: and sure enough, there she was. I spent the night
- 55:04Speaker 1: to make sure no funny business happened, and it turned
- 55:07Speaker 1: out to be the best and worst night of my life.
- 55:12Speaker 1: My boyfriend and I were asleep, and his wife came
- 55:15Speaker 1: and got in the bed with us. She had showered
- 55:18Speaker 1: and she was smelling like lavender, with buttery smooth skin.
- 55:22Speaker 1: She started in on me first, and granted we all
- 55:27Speaker 1: had had a little too much to drink, but I
- 55:29Speaker 1: knew what I was doing. My boyfriend handled both of
- 55:32Speaker 1: us like a pro. I'd never experienced such pleasure. It's
- 55:37Speaker 1: happened twice since then. But now I want them all
- 55:40Speaker 1: to myself. He said, he and his wife have a
- 55:42Speaker 1: situation ship, but he loves me. Is our relationship ruined? Now? Well,
- 55:49Speaker 1: I'll answer it this way. That did take an unexpected turn, now,
- 55:53Speaker 1: didn't it. I was not expecting that, and I was
- 55:56Speaker 1: wondering why after four years they still weren't divorced. Well,
- 56:00Speaker 1: I guess I have my answer. I guess we all
- 56:02Speaker 1: have our answer, because this is who they are and
- 56:04Speaker 1: what they do. Why bringing the ugliness of divorce into
- 56:09Speaker 1: all of this. Let's have our cake and eat it too.
- 56:13Speaker 1: They just have to find someone who would go along
- 56:15Speaker 1: with it. Looks like they may have found that in you.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Why wouldn't they think it's you? Since they've done you
- 56:21Speaker 1: twice already, and I don't see them divorcing each other,
- 56:25Speaker 1: because this is such a great arrangement. Unless you're planning
- 56:29Speaker 1: on this being your lifestyle. I think you better get
- 56:33Speaker 1: out of this threesome a step. And if you don't
- 56:35Speaker 1: already know, you're never gonna have him all to yourself
- 56:38Speaker 1: because the wife is always gonna be there. How is
- 56:43Speaker 1: this for you? What are you getting out of this situation? Ship?
- 56:47Speaker 1: You're getting nothing out of this. He says he loves you,
- 56:50Speaker 1: but he's still with his wife. They're not divorced. This
- 56:53Speaker 1: is craziness. Yeah, I would say the relationship is ruined. Tommy.
- 56:58Speaker 1: What you got? Oh? Mark God? Oh you are killing me, lady.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Oh like it bothers me when y'all you get something.
- 57:10Speaker 1: You got a good thing, and don't know you got
- 57:13Speaker 1: a good thing. What he say he loves you? What you?
- 57:16Speaker 1: What are you tripping about? What is it? Alright? He
- 57:21Speaker 1: ain't gonna cheat on you if you if you're letting
- 57:24Speaker 1: the white sneak in the bed, y'all dad together, He's
- 57:27Speaker 1: not cheating on you. That's it's y'all in this together.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Make me understand. What are you upset about? You said
- 57:34Speaker 1: it was the best you have ever had, and now
- 57:38Speaker 1: you not what what's if? It's the best, the best?
- 57:41Speaker 1: Why do you want to why you want to miss
- 57:43Speaker 1: that out? You got the best? Stop tripping, Get in
- 57:46Speaker 1: there and do your heart y'all, family, Now you know
- 57:51Speaker 1: what I'm saying, your family, This is so selfish of
- 57:55Speaker 1: you to not partake in something that what you say,
- 57:58Speaker 1: the best you've ever had. You ain't never ever had
- 58:03Speaker 1: nobody come in there smelling like lavender and buttery skin.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You ain't never had that before. Okay, I understand why
- 58:11Speaker 1: it's the best. Why are you tripping? Enjoy this? The
- 58:15Speaker 1: man is being open and honest with you. This is
- 58:18Speaker 1: something that, honestly, how but it is the best you've
- 58:21Speaker 1: ever had. I'm gonna tell you something, everything that's ever
- 58:24Speaker 1: happened to me when it's the best I've ever had,
- 58:25Speaker 1: I keep going back to it. I don't understand why
- 58:28Speaker 1: you want to miss this up, Jay, Why it's the
- 58:31Speaker 1: best and worst? You forgot words? Jay, what you got? Jake?
- 58:36Speaker 1: I agree with you, Timmy. This man has gone out
- 58:38Speaker 1: of his way to show you that he cares. He's
- 58:43Speaker 1: done He's done something in this relationship that a lot
- 58:46Speaker 1: of people were just overlooking. He gave you your own
- 58:50Speaker 1: drawer and closet space. Preach. When a man does that,
- 58:57Speaker 1: when a man, when a man gives you lines of space,
- 59:01Speaker 1: you're in there. You help, nothing to worry about. That
- 59:05Speaker 1: means when you hang your things up, you come back,
- 59:09Speaker 1: they will still be there. You have your own special drawer,
- 59:14Speaker 1: Come on, yours, your own drawer. What what the hell?
- 59:21Speaker 1: Your own little drawer that's yours that you can put
- 59:25Speaker 1: your stuff in and nobody's gonna touch it. I don't know.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I don't know why you don't see the love, because
- 59:31Speaker 1: it's then they don't get a good God. You can start, Junior,
- 59:44Speaker 1: but but we'll wait. We'll hold your hold your response. Okay,
- 59:48Speaker 1: all right, listen. The subject of the Strawberry letter is
- 59:53Speaker 1: he's in a situationship with his wife. We've heard the
- 59:56Speaker 1: ignorance from Tommy and Jay coming back. It's gonna be
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Junior with his response in twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: he's in a situationship with his wife. We'll get back
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to the Stave
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is time to recap
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter. The subject he's in a situationship with
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: his wife. Thirty six year old single woman wrote this letter.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: She's dating a man that's been separated from his wife
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: for four years and now they've just been separated, not divorced.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: He lives in the family home. The wife moved out.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Why did she move out? Because she cheated and she
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: moved in with the man she cheated with. Okay, So
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the woman, thirty six year old writer of the letter,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: was a little hesitant about moving in with the man,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: but he gave her a drawer. As Jay pointed out earlier,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: he gave her a drawer, So I guess that means
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: something if a man gives you a drawer a lot.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: So she started. She started sleeping over at the house
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: and everything. So they had a big house party in
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: MLK weekend and she got a chance. The woman did
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: to meet a lot of his friends, and one of
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: them just happened to say, Wow, isn't it cool that
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you can be here and his wife could be here?
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: And she's like what, So she asked her man about it.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: He said, she's in the guest room sleeping because she
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: had too much to drink. So the woman wanted to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: spend the night to make sure no funny business between
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the husband and wife happened, but she got a whole
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: lot more than she bargained for. She spent the night
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: with the husband the woman. The wife came in, did
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: her the husband it was. It turned out to be
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: a threesome. She said it was the best and worst
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: night of her life. Tommy, but now they did it
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: a few times. But now she just wants the man
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: all to himself. He says he's in a situationship with
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: his wife. He loves her, but she wants to know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: what's their relationship ruined? Junior, what's your God? You heard
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: from Tommy and Jay who said that she's being selfish
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: best ever? I can see why she rode in. You
