- 2:00Speaker 4: Uh?
- 2:02Speaker 2: I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 4: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 4: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 4: radio show man. Oh man, oh man? How many times
- 2:15Speaker 4: I got to say that before I get tired of it?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I think it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta
- 2:21Speaker 4: be real with you, because boy, that's Steve Harvey, got
- 2:24Speaker 4: a radio show man. Clear indication of how God can
- 2:31Speaker 4: do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he leads
- 2:35Speaker 4: your life in directions that you never ever saw coming.
- 2:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:41Speaker 4: were talking about how man, they were young and they
- 2:44Speaker 4: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:47Speaker 4: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:52Speaker 4: help help form who they were.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Today as an adult. This guy is fifty years old.
- 2:58Speaker 2: And you know the same thing for you.
- 3:00Speaker 4: If you look back on your life and all of
- 3:03Speaker 4: the things that you've done, it helped shape you into
- 3:06Speaker 4: who you are now. This is provided now that you
- 3:11Speaker 4: take the positive approach. Now when I say look back
- 3:14Speaker 4: at your life and see what you've done, that doesn't
- 3:17Speaker 4: mean dwell on the misfortunate moments, because the misfortunate moments
- 3:21Speaker 4: were necessary.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I know it.
- 3:23Speaker 4: It's hard to see that when it's happening to you,
- 3:26Speaker 4: but the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really
- 3:31Speaker 4: makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 4: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach is when
- 3:39Speaker 4: it's cold. Is rain in our side. What really makes
- 3:43Speaker 4: you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down.
- 3:47Speaker 4: See if you were up all the time, just the
- 3:51Speaker 4: nature of us as human beings, we would lose our
- 3:54Speaker 4: appreciation for it because it becomes case hurrah, whatever it is, Well,
- 3:58Speaker 4: it is what it is, just what what you take
- 4:02Speaker 4: it for granted, it becomes expected. But what happens in
- 4:05Speaker 4: life s is it has so many twisting turns, and
- 4:08Speaker 4: then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:11Speaker 4: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:14Speaker 4: when the sunny days come, man, you go wild. It's
- 4:17Speaker 4: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm weather.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Just stay in a bunch of cold weather all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I'm just this is really simpler now, a lot of analogies,
- 4:28Speaker 4: but it helps you along the way. Now, here's what
- 4:31Speaker 4: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:35Speaker 4: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:38Speaker 4: you what it's done for me, but a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 4: people are struggling with moving forward with their future, their
- 4:46Speaker 4: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:53Speaker 4: their future dreams. Just simply that your future wants a
- 4:58Speaker 4: lot of people trying to have a hard time mapping
- 5:01Speaker 4: out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm
- 5:04Speaker 4: gonna be, what I'm gonna make, how I'm or go
- 5:08Speaker 4: about it? What do I do next? I want to
- 5:11Speaker 4: share something with you that I had to come to
- 5:13Speaker 4: terms with. The quickest way to lose focus on your
- 5:17Speaker 4: future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:21Speaker 2: You know, It's like I said at the beginning.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You know when I say, it's wonderful to look at
- 5:26Speaker 4: your life and review it, because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 4: it'll tell you it really helped shape inform you today
- 5:34Speaker 4: as the person you are now. If you look at
- 5:37Speaker 4: it in a positive sense. But if you dwell in
- 5:40Speaker 4: harp on the negative that's happened to you, then that
- 5:44Speaker 4: keeps you from seeing the good in the incident, every
- 5:47Speaker 4: bad thing that's happened to you, that was a silver
- 5:50Speaker 4: lining behind it. I know people who were on drugs
- 5:54Speaker 4: who finally, man, just got sent to prison for stealing
- 5:57Speaker 4: because of their habit. I don't cat that's so dope. Well,
- 6:01Speaker 4: he went to prison, he told me one time, he
- 6:03Speaker 4: says Steve. He said, man, this is the best thing
- 6:06Speaker 4: ever happened to me to save my life. Now, most
- 6:09Speaker 4: people would think, how in the world is going to
- 6:11Speaker 4: prison helpful for you? The brother said, it's saved my life.
- 6:17Speaker 4: First of all, it got me clean. He said, I've
- 6:19Speaker 4: been clean for five years from sitting in here. That's
- 6:23Speaker 4: for starters. I'm clean. I ain't stealing no more. I
- 6:26Speaker 4: ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He said.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Now, man, I done went to college. I don'et got
- 6:33Speaker 4: a college degree while I'm in here. Then he was
- 6:37Speaker 4: released from prison, and the brother's life was completely turned around.
- 6:41Speaker 4: He married, he got a family, he got a great job.
- 6:45Speaker 4: He go to work every day. He's a productive citizen.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 4: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 4: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 4: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 4: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 2: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 2: I mean.
- 7:10Speaker 7: Even in your missteps in life, there is a purpose
- 7:14Speaker 7: for the missteps.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Every time you fail, there was a reason for the failure.
- 7:20Speaker 4: See what I had to do was I had to
- 7:22Speaker 4: learn that all of my failures taught me how to
- 7:25Speaker 4: get back up. So I became a very strong and
- 7:28Speaker 4: tough person in getting back up. And then I was
- 7:32Speaker 4: down and out so long that it taught me how
- 7:35Speaker 4: to really appreciate the up. And so I've taken all
- 7:39Speaker 4: of that and used it those experiences that happened to me,
- 7:43Speaker 4: and I became a more experienced person. So next time
- 7:47Speaker 4: when people talk about me who don't know me. It
- 7:50Speaker 4: don't shake me, cause everybody not gonna like you. Man,
- 7:53Speaker 4: you might as well go and get on this train
- 7:55Speaker 4: right now. And so what I'm saying to you out
- 7:58Speaker 4: there is the way to lose focus on your future
- 8:02Speaker 4: is to keep focusing on your past.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 4: to break up because now you're loaneling you by yourself.
- 8:13Speaker 4: But man, but wasn't you in misery when you was
- 8:16Speaker 4: in that? Weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 4: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:23Speaker 4: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 4: It take two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:30Speaker 4: take two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:33Speaker 4: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 4: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:39Speaker 4: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 4: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 4: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:47Speaker 4: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 4: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 4: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 4: a relationship. And you keep harping on the past. You
- 9:02Speaker 4: don't think you hear that.
- 9:03Speaker 2: I'm just a dude with a show, and I hear
- 9:05Speaker 2: it all the time.
- 9:07Speaker 7: Let it go go forward.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's over.
- 9:10Speaker 4: You made it, He bought you through it, you conquered,
- 9:14Speaker 4: you survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and
- 9:18Speaker 4: making it the cross around your neck when clearly he
- 9:22Speaker 4: had removed it for you. Now all you got to
- 9:25Speaker 4: do is come on. So if you sit behind them walls,
- 9:28Speaker 4: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Man, you just got to get it right. All this
- 9:34Speaker 2: repeat of fender business.
- 9:36Speaker 7: That's for?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Who is that for?
- 9:38Speaker 4: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 9:41Speaker 4: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 9:45Speaker 4: do the right thing.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Ask God to.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:50Speaker 4: can't give you a job? Are you serious?
- 9:52Speaker 8: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 9:55Speaker 2: it go. Let's movestenning show, ladies and gentlemen. I don't
- 10:03Speaker 2: know if you've noticed it again, but it's here again.
- 10:06Speaker 4: And if it's here again, that means he done done
- 10:09Speaker 4: it again, that God Almighty something else.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:13Speaker 4: He's the only one can wake you up in the morning. Man,
- 10:17Speaker 4: he's the only one. Ain't your alarm clock? Please don't
- 10:19Speaker 4: get it twisted. A lot of alarms will go off
- 10:22Speaker 4: today and they won't make a call for God woke
- 10:26Speaker 4: us up again today, My God, My God.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Man. I love God.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Man, I do, I do, I do?
- 10:34Speaker 9: I do.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Hope you do too, Man, I would you know?
- 10:38Speaker 4: I feel sorry for people that don't really try to
- 10:40Speaker 4: form a relationship with God. Just try, man, Just try
- 10:44Speaker 4: to go on over there and talk with him, have prayer, meditate,
- 10:47Speaker 4: sit by yourself.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It's a feeling that you have. He's always listening. He's
- 10:52Speaker 2: always nearby.
- 10:54Speaker 4: The moment you think God ain't close by, it's because
- 10:57Speaker 4: you done walked away some time ago.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Turn around.
- 11:00Speaker 4: He right there. You ain't got to go all the
- 11:02Speaker 4: way back. Just turn around. He always there and he
- 11:06Speaker 4: will receive it.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Hey, Man, Steve.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Harvey, Martin Show, Shelby Strawberry, Colin Farrell, Mississippi Monica Junior
- 11:15Speaker 7: alias the Killer one Space and the Legend that is
- 11:19Speaker 7: Nephew Tommy.
- 11:20Speaker 2: He's not here this morning right now.
- 11:22Speaker 4: For some reason, I don't know what's going on, so
- 11:26Speaker 4: that leads me to beckonfew anything on your mind.
- 11:30Speaker 8: Well, I mean, since we're talking about it, let's I mean,
- 11:33Speaker 8: let's let's just go and put this out there.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I am me and excuse me, sir, I am me?
- 11:39Speaker 3: And you is you?
- 11:40Speaker 2: I miss me?
- 11:42Speaker 3: You is you?
- 11:43Speaker 7: Ain't no doubt.
- 11:44Speaker 8: I don't like it when I just don't like it
- 11:46Speaker 8: when people think they us that bothers me. Uh, this
- 11:51Speaker 8: junior not at work? I mean, what what he thinks?
- 11:54Speaker 3: He mean?
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean, what where we at with this?
- 11:58Speaker 10: You know?
- 11:58Speaker 8: And this don't happened a couple of times. You know,
- 12:00Speaker 8: I'm trying to find out. I don't like when people
- 12:02Speaker 8: get a little too comfortable. And then then you see
- 12:05Speaker 8: if you keep calling somebody uncle, if you keep doing that,
- 12:08Speaker 8: come in your mind, really think you make you think.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That's your uncle and it's not.
- 12:14Speaker 8: Now I'm saying, wanting to be in this family so much,
- 12:17Speaker 8: now you think you got the lead way to drop
- 12:19Speaker 8: in and out at work when you want to this right.
- 12:22Speaker 2: Here is it is really unacceptable to me.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Well, you know, coming from you, it has a special
- 12:29Speaker 4: staying to it because you know, I don't I don't

- 12:42Speaker 4: Oh oh always the always, the whis did it bother you?
- 12:47Speaker 4: You see, I wouldn't think in a level of intelligence
- 12:50Speaker 4: when I was working for other people. I guess I
- 12:53Speaker 4: still do so to speak. I just don't know how
- 12:55Speaker 4: to act like it. They don't pick that out because
- 12:57Speaker 4: I sure work. I think I do, but I really
- 13:02Speaker 4: ain't got that mindset.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Uh you don't.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I thought that you calculate, as Tommy said, your day's
- 13:11Speaker 4: off a little bit better a Monday for the day
- 13:15Speaker 4: off is effective a Friday. Yeah, you know where you
- 13:20Speaker 4: can get yourself a three day weekend than you don't
- 13:24Speaker 4: take Wednesday's off.
- 13:26Speaker 2: He's so young, he's stupid.
- 13:29Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll

- 29:50Speaker 3: Right now?
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm doing what the Lord is televiated and.

- 53:39Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:41Speaker 2: We got it for you.
- 53:41Speaker 4: Here.
- 53:41Speaker 9: It is Strawberry Letter, Thank your Nephew. Subject figure it
- 53:45Speaker 9: out or get out. Dear Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and
- 53:49Speaker 9: I have been together eight years and he asked me
- 53:51Speaker 9: to marry him last month. I've acted like a wife, mother, banker,
- 53:55Speaker 9: and counselor to this man, and he does not appreciate me.
- 53:58Speaker 1: We looked at brings for you years, and he knew.
- 54:01Speaker 9: Exactly which engagement ring I wanted.
- 54:04Speaker 1: But he got the ring he wanted to get me.
- 54:07Speaker 9: It's a huge ring, maybe two carrots with a baby
- 54:10Speaker 9: blue stone, because he attended the University of North Carolina
- 54:13Speaker 9: for a year and baby blue is his favorite color.
- 54:16Speaker 9: I was mortified by the ring, and I cried myself
- 54:20Speaker 9: to sleep. I don't even have a sweet romantic story
- 54:23Speaker 9: to describe how he proposed. We had just had a
- 54:26Speaker 9: quickie and he kept telling me how much he loved me.
- 54:29Speaker 9: Then he popped his pinky finger in my face, up
- 54:32Speaker 9: in my face, and the ring was on it. He
- 54:35Speaker 9: didn't bother to put his clothes back on first, or
- 54:37Speaker 9: get on one knee beside the bed. Then he tried
- 54:40Speaker 9: to take pictures of me with the ring on, and
- 54:42Speaker 9: I was wearing my bonnet. I said yes to his proposal,
- 54:46Speaker 9: but the next day I started a fight on purpose
- 54:49Speaker 9: so I could ignore him. He called my mother to
- 54:52Speaker 9: whine to her, but she unleashed on him and told
- 54:55Speaker 9: him all the things I.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Had told her.
- 54:57Speaker 9: He came home that day and said, I ruined a
- 55:00Speaker 9: perfect night because I'm ungrateful, And he said, if I
- 55:03Speaker 9: didn't want to marry him, just say it. Then he
- 55:06Speaker 9: yelled figure it out or get out and went to bed.
- 55:09Speaker 9: The apartment is in my name and I pay the rent.
- 55:13Speaker 9: He pays the utilities and our phone bills, so it
- 55:16Speaker 9: was mighty bold of him to tell me to get out.
- 55:19Speaker 9: Should I leave and let him figure it out for
- 55:21Speaker 9: a while, or do I give this some time and
- 55:24Speaker 9: work on mending our relationship. This is not a way
- 55:29Speaker 9: to start off a marriage. This is no kind of
- 55:31Speaker 9: way to do that. I just I think it's good
- 55:34Speaker 9: that it came out now, because yelling at your fiance
- 55:37Speaker 9: and telling her to fix it or get out, figure
- 55:40Speaker 9: it or get out is definitely not cool. Who is
- 55:43Speaker 9: this guy that you've spent eight years of your life with?
- 55:45Speaker 9: Does he have these outbursts often? That's a red flag
- 55:50Speaker 9: if you ask me, he's telling you to get out
- 55:52Speaker 9: of a place.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You're paying for.
- 55:55Speaker 9: How is that what he should be doing. I just
- 56:00Speaker 9: don't understand that. No, this guy, your guy is wrong
- 56:06Speaker 9: on that.
- 56:07Speaker 1: It's your ring. He wants you to have what he
- 56:09Speaker 1: wants you to have rather than what you want. Baby
- 56:12Speaker 1: blue is his favorite color. Again, this is your ring.
- 56:15Speaker 9: He didn't give you a proper proposal, the one that
- 56:18Speaker 9: you could brag about and dream about, and then he
- 56:22Speaker 9: called you ungrateful because you didn't like the ring. He
- 56:25Speaker 9: knew what type of ring you wanted. You said, you
- 56:27Speaker 9: guys have been ring shopping.
- 56:28Speaker 1: For years, but he ignored that. He's the one who's ungrateful.
- 56:32Speaker 9: You said, you've been his wife, mother, counselor banker for
- 56:36Speaker 9: eight years and he doesn't appreciate you getting you the
- 56:39Speaker 9: ring that you want. It should have been a no
- 56:41Speaker 9: brainer after all that. Well, I don't know. Don't think
- 56:45Speaker 9: that this marriage is going to fix any of this
- 56:47Speaker 9: because it's not. Look at how he talks to you now.
- 56:50Speaker 9: It'll be more of the same, or it could be
- 56:52Speaker 9: worse after he does put a ring on it and
- 56:54Speaker 9: you guys get married. Just because you've been with some
- 56:56Speaker 9: for eight years, it does not mean you have to
- 56:59Speaker 9: marry them. So please don't go into a lifelong commitment
- 57:04Speaker 9: with all of this. You guys aren't ready. You gotta yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 9: you guys aren't ready for this.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Steve Lord her Mercy boy, you know sometime I just
- 57:14Speaker 4: can't fix some of these dudes. I just you know,
- 57:17Speaker 4: I've been trying to help dudes. But man, dog, come on,
- 57:20Speaker 4: now here's a problem.
- 57:24Speaker 7: Y'all been together eight years and he asked you to
- 57:27Speaker 7: marry him last month. Ain't no problem. Good, the time
- 57:31Speaker 7: is in it.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Now.
- 57:33Speaker 2: You have been everything you said, wife, mother, banker, counselor,
- 57:38Speaker 2: and he.
- 57:39Speaker 4: Just don't appreciate you. Well, it took you eight years
- 57:43Speaker 4: and figure this out, but he keeps on proving it.
- 57:45Speaker 10: Now.
- 57:47Speaker 4: We have looked at rings for years and he knew
- 57:49Speaker 4: exactly the engagement ring you wanted, but he got the
- 57:56Speaker 4: ring he wanted to get me.
- 57:59Speaker 2: This is so crazy right here, this right here makes
- 58:03Speaker 2: no damn sense.
- 58:05Speaker 4: It's a huge maybe two carrots with a baby blue
- 58:08Speaker 4: stone because he attended the University of North Carolina for
- 58:13Speaker 4: one year and baby Blue his favorite coach. So he
- 58:16Speaker 4: went to college cause of the colors. That what you're
- 58:19Speaker 4: telling me. He damn sure didn't go down there to
- 58:22Speaker 4: get a degree. He went down there because he liked
- 58:25Speaker 4: baby blue, Carolina blue.
- 58:28Speaker 2: So that's the ring he got you. I was mortified
- 58:33Speaker 2: by the ring, and I cried myself to sleep.
- 58:37Speaker 4: First of all bruh, that ring is really an important
- 58:41Speaker 4: step in both of your lives. But if this woman
- 58:46Speaker 4: has told you the exact one she wanted and you
- 58:50Speaker 4: went and bought the one you wanted, you, sir, are
- 58:57Speaker 4: just stupid.
- 58:59Speaker 7: That's the dumbest thing you could have done. You turned
- 59:04Speaker 7: what could have been a happy woman into a woman
- 59:08Speaker 7: who cried herself to sleep.
- 59:10Speaker 4: Then she said, I don't even have a sweet romantic
- 59:13Speaker 4: story to describe how he proposed we had just had
- 59:17Speaker 4: a quickie.
- 59:19Speaker 2: He kept telling me how much he loved me. Then
- 59:21Speaker 2: he popped his pinky finger up in my face and
- 59:24Speaker 2: the ring was on it.
- 59:26Speaker 4: He didn't bother put his clothes back on. First, he
- 59:30Speaker 4: didn't get on one knee beside the bed. Then he
- 59:33Speaker 4: wanted to take pictures with you with the ring on,
- 59:37Speaker 4: and you was wearing your bonnet.
- 59:41Speaker 7: Lord, let me just stop.
- 59:48Speaker 1: To extaal right there.
- 59:50Speaker 3: You know.
- 59:52Speaker 2: There's no way I can help this guy.
- 59:55Speaker 7: Hang on, we'll be back.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Hang on.
- 59:57Speaker 9: Two Seem's responses coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: the our Today's Strawberry Letters subject.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Figure it out or get out. We'll get back into
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening morning show.
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: The subject figure it out or get out.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: This lady been dating this man eight years. He asked
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: him to marry him. Now.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: They had been looking for rings over the years, and
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: knew exactly what she wanted.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: But this is what this food did. He got the
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: ring he wanted. It's a huge ring.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: It could be two cats, baby bluestone, because he attended
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: the University of North Carolina for one year and baby
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: blue is his favorite color.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: He's so stupid.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: I was mortified by the ring and cried myself to sleep.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Then she said, I ain't even got a sweet romantic
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: story to describe how he proposed.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: We had just had a quickie.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: He kept telling me how much he loved Then he
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: popped his pinky finger up in my face and the ring.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: Was on it.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: He ain't bother to put his clothes back on. First,
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: get on one knee beside the bed. Then he tried
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: to take pictures of me with the ring on. I
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: was wearing my bonnet. I said yes to his proposal,
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: but the next day I started a fight on purpose
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: so I could ignore him. He's sleeping all you had
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: to do is get this girl the ring she wanted.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: What better way to make a woman happy than to
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: give her what.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: She won't, not what you want. It's simple, damn, dug
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: that ain't even hard. It takes the guess work out.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: If my girls say what she really really won't for Christmas?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: And I got it to get her, but I go
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: get her something else. Who the fool here?
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: You?
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: It ain't about no, she not ungrateful. She gonna act
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: like grateful, but she told me this could have been
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: the perfect guilty. But ooh, now you went and did
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: what your dumb ass wanted to do. You went to
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: North Carolina for one year. You ain't even graduate. You
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: went to college because you like powder Blue. You took
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: your ass down to North Carolina and took your mama
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: their money down there because you're stupid behind like powder blue.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: I beat damn.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: Then this food called his mother to wine the hub,
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: but the mama unleashed on him and told him all
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: the things I told him. He came home that day
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: and said, I ruined a perfect knight because I'm ungrateful.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: Wait a minute, dog, let me read this perfect night
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: back to you. You grabbed your girl with a bonnet
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: on him, performed a quickie while y'all was laying there,
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: you pulled the ring out on your damn baby flanker
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: stuck it in her face. The ring she did not want,
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: but the one you wanted cause you took your dumb
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: ass to college for one year. What the hell you
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: need a memory for that, folk? And then you stuck
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: it in her face and asked her to marry you.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: You didn't put your clothes on, you didn't get on
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: one knee. You didn't get this girl a romantic story
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: to report. She can't tell nobody how it happened, and
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: she cried herself.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: To sleep at night.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: And then your ass came in and said, you ruined
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: a perfect night because I'm ungrateful. She didn't ruin a
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: perfect night because she was ungrateful. You ruined the night
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: because you didn't get her what she wanted.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: You did what you wanted to do.
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: You ruined the night because you took what could have
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: been a special occasion and turned it into a moment
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: that ain't worth telling no damn about it. So how
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: did he propose to you? Where we had a quick
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: at having a bonnet on, He rolled over and stuck
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: his other head and ring foot.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's terrible.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: You hear what that sounds like?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so there we go, man.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Then he yelled, okay, it got home. Told you you
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: was ungrateful.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Then he said, if I don't want to marry him,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: just say it. Then he yelled, figured it out or
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: get out, and he went to bed. Well, the apartment
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: is in her name. How stupid is this dude? You
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: know I would have at least ran through my mind.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Who house is this boy? Tell him to get out?
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: I said to myself, Okay, I got some things over
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: here to that signed the least.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm fit to tell her to get out
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: her house.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Figure it out to get out? Yeah, And then went
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: to bed. Like I told her, the apartment is in
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: my name. I paid the rent, he paid the utilities
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: and the phone bill. So it was mighty bold to
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: him to tell me to get out. Should I leave
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: and let him figure it out for a while? Or
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: do I give this some time and work on mending
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: our relationship. Lady, you're not fit to do nothing, because
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: listen to the options you said. You said, should I leave?
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: And let him figure it out for a while, or
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: do I give this some time and work on mending
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: our relationship. That's the same thing. If all you're gonna
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: do is leave to let him figure it out for
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: a while, I don't know what the timeframe means. You're
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: gonna have it, or do I give him sometime and
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: work on mending our relationship.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: You're not gonna go anywhere.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: You've accepted the garbage that your dumb ass boyfriend been
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: putting out for eight years with this dumb ass proposal,
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: and you sit up here with this big, ugly ass rain,
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: and now you should cook an ugl ass picture with
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: your bonnet on your damn proposal, a bunnet on him?
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Told you all about the damn bunds?
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: What kind of ring is this?
- 1:06:16Speaker 10: All?
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:06:17Speaker 13: Man?

- 1:06:51Speaker 8: idea of dating Kim Kardashian. He made it clear that
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: he wouldn't pursue a relationship with Kim Ka. Sharp said,
- 1:06:59Speaker 8: Kim has an of going on. She's an outstanding businesswoman
- 1:07:02Speaker 8: and what she's been, what she's done, is absolutely amazing.
- 1:07:05Speaker 8: But I got too much on my plate. She has
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: too much on her plate. Plus, I'm too private.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Of a guy.
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: I don't want to live a public life now staying
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: in Sharp is fifty five. Him Kardashian is forty three.
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: What does it take for a man that that many
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: years older?
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: Uh?
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: What kind of decisions do you make in life?
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: There? Is he too? Is he too old for? It's
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: just money? It's just money. You know what is we
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: talking about him? What do you mean?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: It's just money?
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: See, it's just money. If he got money, you ain't
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: gonna give a damn hold here, Appucino.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Does he need to be in a certain thing? Yeah,
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: be damn there on the way out, that's even better.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: You have to be bothered, Steve.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: You know these young girls is looking at that.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I can marry this man. Get up close to
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: this situation. He eighty, I'm twenty nine. Where do you
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: think this is going? Well, come on now, stop.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: It was about it's a fun.
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: But surely when you're that much older, when you go
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: to the to the de Niro's and the Patinos, Surely
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: when you're that much older, I mean, is it fair?
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Is it fair to the child at all? The child? Oh,
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: if you have a baby, a baby, yeah, listen to me.
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: This baby is hoping, hoping that he make it to
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: just take him to the first grade, because I shall
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: hope my daddy been take me to school, to the
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: first grade.
- 1:08:47Speaker 13: I don't think that's a big difference though, with Shannon
- 1:08:50Speaker 13: and Kim Kage, she's.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: What he's got too far. No, that's not far at all. No,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: that ain't bad at all.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: That's not far at all. And I like the way
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: he gave Kim her do you know what she busy?
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: You know, somebody asked me, would you ever date Beyonce?
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: And you know what, I said, what the hell do Beyonce?
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: Won't we meet?
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Don't don't breaking.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Married to their power couple?
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Thank you guys.
- 1:09:20Speaker 9: Coming up, at the top of the hour, a husband
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: hides a filthy washcloth and a pile of laundry and
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: makes up a weird excuse.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening morning show,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: all right?
- 1:09:34Speaker 9: This is from Vashti and Hattiesburg. Vashti says, my husband
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: buried a damp washcloth in the bottom of a pile
- 1:09:41Speaker 9: of towels and it got sour, which made me go
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: move it. The washcloth had makeup and makeup residue and
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: black streaks on it. My husband said he cleaned up
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: after himself when he couldn't make it to the toilet.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Why would he use a washcloth to do that?
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: I still can't figure this one out out, but it
- 1:10:00Speaker 9: looks like makeup and mass Scara, am I reaching?
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: I just want to say, ew, yeah.
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: Why would your husband use a wash coff to clean
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: himself up? How's that a question?
- 1:10:12Speaker 9: No?
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: But it said after he used the toilet.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he couldn't make it to the to the bathroom.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Oh that's what he said, is the thing? Yeah you

- 1:20:33Speaker 9: His hands are blessed, and she found out that he
- 1:20:36Speaker 9: does in home massages, so she started getting them often
- 1:20:41Speaker 9: just so she could see him. He asked if he
- 1:20:43Speaker 9: could bring one of his business partners, and I agree
- 1:20:46Speaker 9: to a fourhand massage from these two men. My boyfriend
- 1:20:50Speaker 9: then asked if he could watch me and his business
- 1:20:53Speaker 9: partner being intimate.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I was all for it, and it fell.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Wait wait say that again?
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so we got two dudes over there doing
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: massage on the girl. Did the girl's boyfriend said?
- 1:21:09Speaker 10: What?
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: Could he watch her and his business partner being intimate?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: The boyfriend wanted to.
- 1:21:16Speaker 9: He brought his boy his business partner over there the
- 1:21:19Speaker 9: fourhand massage. So then her boyfriend turns around and says,
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: could he watch her and the business partner doing it?
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:21:28Speaker 9: And she was all for it, and she said it
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: felt very natural. So her question is, does this mean
- 1:21:34Speaker 9: she's polyamorous? Now you know she likes more than what
- 1:21:37Speaker 9: the hell you think?
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: The hell is you asking us for? First of all,
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: we set up in here, so damn confused. You got
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: a massage from the dude with the blessed hands, uh huh?
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Now in home.
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Now he come to the house and he tell you
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: can he bring his business partner to do a fuehand?
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: Your ass said yeah to that, But your damn boyfriend
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: over there watching and then said he watched you and
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: the business partner that the dude bought with him.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: Can he watch y'all do it? And you said it
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: felt natural to you? Yeah?

- 1:22:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you and everybody? How that feel natural?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Well, she said it did.
- 1:22:37Speaker 4: I mean four is on me right here. Just let's
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: get let's get to the fuehand. Even if it's two women.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: The confusion.
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: That's gonna be running through my mind because I got in.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: A relaxed state, chilling, just getting a massage.
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: It's too many, dud, there's three dudes in this room.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: You gotta unwind and relax.

- 1:23:09Speaker 4: of relaxing are you doing? That's gonna be natural listening
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: to this story?
- 1:23:20Speaker 9: Relax, you're getting a massage, relaxed, relax.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Go with the flash, man.

- 1:23:32Speaker 7: This world?
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: Crazy? Your boyfriend? Can I watch you in the business partner?
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: Heath sense? And it felt so natural? Does that mean?
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: Does that mean I'm what polyamorous?
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: You know more than what that mean, but you probably are.
- 1:23:48Speaker 4: Whatever it's sound, it sounds nasty.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Yes, that's very popular.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: You know, so if you get poll in all the
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: rest of us, if you want to, that's what it's.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Turning more than one.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: You know that crazy? I don't. I don't really know
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: exactly what that means. But how that feel? How did
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: how I feel?
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: Natural? The sound of the story was unnatural. It stopped
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: us in the middle. We had to hear it twice.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Wait a minute, who came your boyfriend came in the
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: room for what to watch. And then your boyfriend said,
- 1:24:23Speaker 4: what can he watch you?
- 1:24:25Speaker 7: And the.
- 1:24:27Speaker 4: Business of partner to the original two hammer? Sorry, can
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: y'all have sex? And can he watch that?
