- 0:38Speaker 1: don't joy yeah, joined me to be with me home.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn turn, turn, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn the water the water. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your baby that uh huh, I shall well, good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:06Speaker 1: me now wanting only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Wow man, how good has God been to me? You know? Today?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Let me get right to it because I'm I'm kind
- 2:17Speaker 1: of feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure that's just
- 2:20Speaker 1: quite a few of you who go through the same
- 2:22Speaker 1: things today. Today was just a little tough morning from
- 2:27Speaker 1: me because I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You know,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I wanted to stay home a little. I just gotten home,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know, I gotta go again. And sometimes, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:40Speaker 1: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:43Speaker 1: like doing it today. Huh. You know, I'm just talking
- 2:49Speaker 1: to those who feel this way every now and then,
- 2:51Speaker 1: And I'm assuming that would be everybody, because I don't
- 2:54Speaker 1: know nobody who can just ply through this thing without
- 2:57Speaker 1: having those days. Well, what do you do when it
- 3:02Speaker 1: gets hard to stay up? What do you do when
- 3:05Speaker 1: it gets hard to be positive? What do you do
- 3:09Speaker 1: when it seems like things aren't happening for you fast
- 3:13Speaker 1: enough or in the time frame that you thought it
- 3:15Speaker 1: was going. What do you do? And the reason that
- 3:19Speaker 1: I guess I chose to speak about this this morning
- 3:22Speaker 1: is because I'm having one of those days. Because I
- 3:25Speaker 1: had one of those days yesterday. It's just a tough day.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I really can't explain. It's nothing really in particular bad happened.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's just I think the weight of all that's going
- 3:40Speaker 1: on started to feel heavy to me. Not being able
- 3:47Speaker 1: to sit down with my wife and talk some of
- 3:49Speaker 1: these things through so she could help me out. That
- 3:52Speaker 1: kind of got to me yesterday because she had to
- 3:55Speaker 1: go take care of some business. I had to go
- 3:56Speaker 1: take care of some business. But she got in it
- 3:59Speaker 1: was late, you know. I got in it was late,
- 4:02Speaker 1: you know, And so I guess so so it sort
- 4:07Speaker 1: of pushed me into this thing. Now I didn't have
- 4:09Speaker 1: nobody talk to about it. And so what do you
- 4:13Speaker 1: do when when you have days like that, when it's
- 4:15Speaker 1: hard to be positive, when it's hard to stay up. Okay,
- 4:18Speaker 1: here's what I had to start doing this morning. Now
- 4:21Speaker 1: I haven't completed it. Can I just be real with you,
- 4:25Speaker 1: I haven't completed it. Excuse me, but I am processing
- 4:30Speaker 1: it out because I know what to do, because I've
- 4:34Speaker 1: been here hundreds of times before. See. That's that's the
- 4:38Speaker 1: cool thing about getting older. That's the cool thing about life,
- 4:43Speaker 1: is that you gained experiences along the way. You know,
- 4:46Speaker 1: been there, done that. I didn't had that pain before.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I know what to do. You know, if I sprained
- 4:50Speaker 1: my finger, I know what to do now. You know
- 4:52Speaker 1: the first sprain I had, Old Lord, I thought it
- 4:54Speaker 1: was broke. I thought I gonna be handacalf. I didn't
- 4:57Speaker 1: know how I was gonna fix it, Old Lord, what
- 4:59Speaker 1: I I can't write? No mold. Now maybe I don't
- 5:02Speaker 1: have to go to school. I was working all kinds
- 5:04Speaker 1: of stuff I when I first sprained my finger. But
- 5:07Speaker 1: now if I sprained my finger, I know what to do.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So since I've been in this position, in this hole
- 5:12Speaker 1: so many times before, and God has always gotten me
- 5:15Speaker 1: through it. I decided I've got to start the process today.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Here are some things. Now. I'm gonna get to the
- 5:23Speaker 1: big one last, but here are some things that you
- 5:26Speaker 1: can do immediately to start pulling yourself up. And one
- 5:31Speaker 1: of the things I do is I remember the plan.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I just sit down and consciously remember the plan. Sit
- 5:41Speaker 1: down and I consciously think about the goals I've set.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I go over see. I've gotten mine down on an
- 5:48Speaker 1: iPad so I can pull them out anywhere I am
- 5:51Speaker 1: and pull them up. And I've got two lists that
- 5:54Speaker 1: I've made. I've got a list of things that I
- 5:56Speaker 1: know I can accomplish if I just keep working hard
- 6:00Speaker 1: and if some couple of things just fall into place
- 6:03Speaker 1: that I can see. Then I got a list of
- 6:06Speaker 1: things that I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I have
- 6:09Speaker 1: a second list. And the heading of this list is
- 6:13Speaker 1: called only God can help Me Now. And on this list,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's things that I'm aspiring for or things that I'm
- 6:21Speaker 1: hoping to that in order for them to happen, I
- 6:24Speaker 1: absolutely have to have God's help. That's my favorite list.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It's the list that I have of the things that
- 6:35Speaker 1: I don't see No way it can happen. I'm just
- 6:39Speaker 1: operating on faith and the hope that God hear me,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and so sometimes, man, when you gotta when I have
- 6:47Speaker 1: this list of who only God can help me, now
- 6:51Speaker 1: that list is stuff that I cannot see. I'm just
- 6:55Speaker 1: operating on faith that God is so much bigger than me,
- 6:59Speaker 1: that he's so much more capable than I am, that
- 7:02Speaker 1: I can actually acquire some things in my life, as
- 7:05Speaker 1: He's proven to me time and time again up to
- 7:07Speaker 1: this point, that He's willing to do for me if
- 7:10Speaker 1: I'm willing to just give him some of my life.
- 7:13Speaker 1: That's only why I can't explain my existence today. You know,
- 7:17Speaker 1: I began the conversation with my wife, how do I
- 7:20Speaker 1: write a book that becomes so wildly successful? That would
- 7:24Speaker 1: be God. That's only God. Because if you can plan
- 7:28Speaker 1: to sit down and write a wildly successful book, I
- 7:31Speaker 1: would have Benden sat down and did it, and so
- 7:33Speaker 1: would you, So that would be God. How it got
- 7:38Speaker 1: purchased to become a movie when that was not my
- 7:41Speaker 1: intent when I wrote the book at all, Again, that
- 7:45Speaker 1: would be God. Right, there has to be because if
- 7:49Speaker 1: I can't explain it, and it is by no doing
- 7:52Speaker 1: of my own then who did it? So when I
- 7:55Speaker 1: get down in days like this, I remember the goal.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I remember the plan. I remember the journey. I think
- 8:02Speaker 1: about of all the things God has bought me to
- 8:04Speaker 1: how did I even get to this point. Yeah. I
- 8:06Speaker 1: might be having a little bummer of a day. Yeah
- 8:08Speaker 1: I was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio rhythms
- 8:11Speaker 1: is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah, I'm
- 8:14Speaker 1: just having one of those days. I feel a little
- 8:16Speaker 1: bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I need
- 8:19Speaker 1: some time off to just go and regenerate. But right now, man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I ain't got that. So guess what I do. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering the goals.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I gotta start thinking about all the things that God
- 8:32Speaker 1: has done for me, and he has bought me this far,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and the blessings that I have instead of what I
- 8:37Speaker 1: don't have. And that's what I'm in the process of
- 8:39Speaker 1: doing this morning. And on the commercial breaks, I'm gonna
- 8:42Speaker 1: pull out my iPad and I'm gonna go over my
- 8:44Speaker 1: two lists, and I'm gonna read my little list of
- 8:46Speaker 1: what I think I can accomplish, and I'm gonna really
- 8:49Speaker 1: read that only God can help me now, list, because
- 8:52Speaker 1: that's the list that's big. That's the part where I've
- 8:54Speaker 1: been telling y'all, I said, quit telling God how big
- 8:58Speaker 1: your problems are, and start telling your problems how big
- 9:01Speaker 1: your God is. See, And that's why I got to
- 9:04Speaker 1: sit down and do this morning. And then sometimes, man,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you got to stay still. That's the other part. You
- 9:11Speaker 1: got to stay still. You gotta quit moving for a second,
- 9:16Speaker 1: because sometimes it feel like you're running on a treadmill
- 9:19Speaker 1: and you really ain't you going somewhere, but it feel
- 9:22Speaker 1: like you're running on a treadmill. Well, when you get
- 9:24Speaker 1: that feeling, sometimes you got to stay still. And then
- 9:28Speaker 1: when you stay still, sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Sometimes you gotta fight not to let the devil win.
- 9:35Speaker 1: You're in a fight, mam. I told you this. Now
- 9:36Speaker 1: you're in a fight now. So trying to get you
- 9:39Speaker 1: to get on that positive train so he can get
- 9:41Speaker 1: you off the faith train. So God's delivery package that's
- 9:45Speaker 1: coming to you built on your faith that you can
- 9:47Speaker 1: he can shake your faith and get you to thinking
- 9:49Speaker 1: negative and then he wins. See, So when you start
- 9:52Speaker 1: feeling negative, just know that that's the other force trying
- 9:55Speaker 1: to throw your off track. And when you get through
- 9:57Speaker 1: it all that He is the key, the big one.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You want me tell it to You got to pray, man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: You got to pray. You gotta take it to God.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You gotta say, hey, God, look I'm having one of
- 10:06Speaker 1: these days. I need your help. I got business to
- 10:09Speaker 1: take care of. You got blessings in front of me.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You got stuff you to ship to me. You got
- 10:14Speaker 1: blessings and packages that's on the way. I need to
- 10:16Speaker 1: be sitting on Faith Streets so I can receive the
- 10:18Speaker 1: delivery when you get there. What I don't want to
- 10:21Speaker 1: do is be it on be on Doubted Way or
- 10:25Speaker 1: or Lack of Understanding Parkway, or Pity Parkway or some
- 10:30Speaker 1: street like that, and the package keep going by. I
- 10:33Speaker 1: need to be standing and sitting on Faith Street so
- 10:36Speaker 1: when you drop that package down to me, I can
- 10:38Speaker 1: go on and get it. You feel me. You gots
- 10:41Speaker 1: to pray. You got to stay still, You gotta fight
- 10:44Speaker 1: to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan. You gotta
- 10:47Speaker 1: go over the goals. Come on, man, God and brought
- 10:49Speaker 1: you too far, Come on, pick yourself up today. I'm
- 10:52Speaker 1: talking to Steve Harvey this morning, Hope, y'all didn't mind
- 10:56Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies, gentlemen, everybody Today is Wednesday. Good morning everybody.

- 11:54Speaker 1: Are you? Y'all ain't ask me nothing, y'all ain't invite
- 11:58Speaker 1: pimping back? Man? You know what I heard? Do what say?
- 12:04Speaker 1: I probably shouldn't even say this, but did you hear
- 12:07Speaker 1: to get pimping here? No? This this I heard sister
- 12:12Speaker 1: Old Dale's upset because she's been replaced by pimp man. No,
- 12:20Speaker 1: don't take that offensive. Hey, you tell Olddale to call Eugene.
- 12:24Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I mean that happens. It happens. Man,
- 12:30Speaker 1: that'd be funny to bring them back. They're being funny. Man.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Before the end of the year, before we get out
- 12:37Speaker 1: of here. For this year, we are to do a
- 12:39Speaker 1: special reunion last day, a reunion show. You know how
- 12:46Speaker 1: they do the Housewives, bring everybody back dumb, Oh, Country Brothers,
- 12:55Speaker 1: Country Brothers are to come back, man, Old Dale, Pimp
- 13:00Speaker 1: been Roscoe deaf jam Who who is dumb? I forgot dumb?
- 13:10Speaker 1: But we gotta had a white dude. You gotta bring
- 13:11Speaker 1: the white dude crowd. Yes, what about the African guy? Oh?
- 13:22Speaker 1: I forgot about mama characters politically correct at all? Yeah,
- 13:29Speaker 1: if we want to keep working here, I think call
- 13:32Speaker 1: ain't gonna like this. But Momo and tom Boy what slave? What?
- 13:40Speaker 1: I remember that the greatest slave actors of all times.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Let's save that for when we get ready to leave
- 13:46Speaker 1: permanently about forever. We're never coming back that show right there,
- 13:51Speaker 1: y'all gonna want to be at that. I'd probably say
- 13:57Speaker 1: goodbye for three days then leave it for who got next? Yeah,
- 14:02Speaker 1: like we did when we left LA that was a
- 14:04Speaker 1: week long. When we live Yeah, when we left, Yeah,
- 14:08Speaker 1: we act like he left and we were still you're
- 14:14Speaker 1: right about that. Oh man, all right, Steve, listen some
- 14:21Speaker 1: we'll talk about it when we come back. But some
- 14:23Speaker 1: sad news out of mines out of Mississippi. Um, dang it.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. So coming up at thirty two
- 14:33Speaker 1: after the state of Mississippi voters have a new senator
- 14:36Speaker 1: and it's not who you think right after this you're
- 14:42Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, The Mississippi special election was
- 14:47Speaker 1: yesterday Democrat Mike Espy against his opponent, Republican Cindy Hyde Smith.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Sp supporters want at Mississippi voters to turn out like
- 14:58Speaker 1: Alabama voters did for Democrat Senator Doug Jones beating Roy Moore.
- 15:02Speaker 1: We all remember that. Well, Um, the President held a
- 15:06Speaker 1: couple of election eve rallies to promote that Republican Cindy
- 15:10Speaker 1: Hyde Smith as a truly incredible leader and asked regarding
- 15:15Speaker 1: Democrat Mike Espy, uh, which I thought was crazy he
- 15:19Speaker 1: when he said, how does he fit in with Mississippi?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Excuse me? You asked that question. Isn't he a Native
- 15:25Speaker 1: son from that? Yeah, He's a Native son exactly, exactly, exactly.
- 15:34Speaker 1: At least Mike Espy has tons of political experience on
- 15:38Speaker 1: the national level, local level, state level. Yes, so Steve,
- 15:43Speaker 1: this runoff election was about race and new elect Senator
- 15:47Speaker 1: Cindy Hyde Smith herb remarks about endorsing public hangings and lynchings.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, what is this world coming to this country?
- 15:57Speaker 1: What is going on? Well? You know, um, this rhetoric
- 16:01Speaker 1: comes from the top, and it's been made to be
- 16:04Speaker 1: okay to verbalize anything that you want to say. Whether
- 16:10Speaker 1: it's politically correct, whether it's a separating, whether it causes pain,
- 16:15Speaker 1: whether it's bigoted, racist, it doesn't matter. It's been made
- 16:19Speaker 1: to seem okay. They relate to that. Well, he said it. Now,
- 16:25Speaker 1: if the president can get away with saying the stuff
- 16:28Speaker 1: he's gotten away with, why not, right, let me try
- 16:32Speaker 1: so you expect he'll Billy hank to to restrain his
- 16:38Speaker 1: tongue when the President of the United States number forty
- 16:42Speaker 1: five does not at all. Yeah, No, it starts a wave,
- 16:48Speaker 1: though it starts a whole waves. Hey man, everybody joins in.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Everybody's saying what I want to say. Trump was talking
- 16:57Speaker 1: in Mississippi the other day. Did you see the black
- 17:00Speaker 1: dude with the ponytail? He was there too. Again, dog,
- 17:04Speaker 1: he said all the relies. He's he's every last one Arizona.
- 17:07Speaker 1: They go, no, they flying him around the black dude.
- 17:11Speaker 1: We're gonna tell but when we're gonna pu you know, man,
- 17:14Speaker 1: I was just thinking that, I gotta say it for real, dog.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I mean, I just want to like pull him to
- 17:22Speaker 1: the South Brothers and just go, hey, man, really, come
- 17:26Speaker 1: on when y'all finish, I'm gonna come back. And that
- 17:29Speaker 1: damn pony. It's still all right for a good as woman.
- 17:37Speaker 1: They It's still all right for that, isn't it. I mean,
- 17:40Speaker 1: he's he's pathetic though, man. I mean, look, man, okay, cool,
- 17:44Speaker 1: let's say you're a Trump supporter. I got it. But
- 17:47Speaker 1: to be used like that, we're gonna put you front
- 17:49Speaker 1: and center as obviously token black wow, and we're gonna
- 17:54Speaker 1: make you the face of black people blacks for Trump.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Take the ass off. Really, you know, it's just it's
- 18:10Speaker 1: I mean, what can you say? What can you say?
- 18:13Speaker 1: We gotta get out and vote. We've been saying that
- 18:15Speaker 1: forever and ever and ever. I mean, it's real, our
- 18:19Speaker 1: vote mattersote And I think also too. I mean, it
- 18:26Speaker 1: couldn't have just been the black people they voted for him.
- 18:29Speaker 1: He had to have white people to him to to win. Now, yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 1: you know, well, you know that's m that's with any
- 18:38Speaker 1: election today exactly. And when the when the reporters were
- 18:41Speaker 1: out asking, they asked the black people, and they asked
- 18:44Speaker 1: the white people who were they going to vote for?
- 18:46Speaker 1: It was down the line by race. All the white
- 18:49Speaker 1: people said they were going to vote for Cindy Hide
- 18:51Speaker 1: Smith and the black people that were there that were
- 18:53Speaker 1: in line, A few that I saw that were in
- 18:56Speaker 1: line said, esp. It was definitely down racial line. So
- 19:00Speaker 1: is it just numbers? Is that what it is? You
- 19:04Speaker 1: know what I mean, there's just more of them than
- 19:06Speaker 1: it is black people. Is that what it is? From
- 19:09Speaker 1: black people? He has to have other races that have
- 19:12Speaker 1: to vote for him. And then, like Steve said, that's
- 19:15Speaker 1: all the elections. But actually, but it can't just be
- 19:19Speaker 1: black people that are outraged by what she said. I
- 19:21Speaker 1: was just gonna say that, you're absolutely right. Does it
- 19:23Speaker 1: does not it matter that she said that she wouldn't obviously, No,
- 19:29Speaker 1: it doesn't. It doesn't matter when the president said he
- 19:31Speaker 1: had grabbed women by the people. Yeah, it didn't matter
- 19:34Speaker 1: what he said about the wall. It doesn't matter what
- 19:37Speaker 1: he said about the immigrants. It didn't matter that he
- 19:41Speaker 1: took babies from their mothers. It doesn't matter what he
- 19:45Speaker 1: said about the Native American woman he referred to as prophanas.
- 19:49Speaker 1: It didn't matter that he made fun of disabled people
- 19:54Speaker 1: by mimicking the way they talk and gesture they handled
- 19:57Speaker 1: this dude, man, It has not matter it Sea. I'm
- 20:05Speaker 1: just really like, what I'm doing at this point, y'all,
- 20:08Speaker 1: to be honest with you, is I'm really focusing on
- 20:11Speaker 1: myself and positioning me and my family to be able
- 20:16Speaker 1: to cope with whatever comes down from Pennsylvania Avenue. Because
- 20:20Speaker 1: it's coming down. It's a lot of sugar honey iced
- 20:23Speaker 1: tea up on the walls right now, and it's dripping
- 20:27Speaker 1: and it's dripping. Yes, it's stink and it's coming down
- 20:31Speaker 1: the wall, and those of us that ain't at the top,
- 20:35Speaker 1: you need to get ready to either wipe the wall
- 20:37Speaker 1: off or get to ask get your ass out the
- 20:40Speaker 1: way of the drip stain that's coming your way. And
- 20:43Speaker 1: that's what I'm spending my time doing, just getting my
- 20:46Speaker 1: family in the position to get out the way. Now,
- 20:48Speaker 1: before you say, with Steve, you got the money to
- 20:50Speaker 1: do that, you can position yourself with. However, you are
- 20:55Speaker 1: to be as least affected by the rhetoric coming out
- 20:58Speaker 1: of the White House as possible, because you have a
- 21:01Speaker 1: say in that. Now, Mark Luther King said it, man,
- 21:03Speaker 1: can't ride your back, Lets you be, don't come on.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It's very sad though it can say you endorse public
- 21:10Speaker 1: lynchings and become a sent man. Yeah it is. And
- 21:15Speaker 1: you can say the tear gasses when you can say
- 21:17Speaker 1: the tear gasses, okay, yeah, we used less dangerous. It's
- 21:22Speaker 1: a less dangerous, less dangerous tear gas. It's okay, Yeah,
- 21:26Speaker 1: it's something that's just not right about that. All right?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Coming up next, the nephew is here. We're gonna change
- 21:31Speaker 1: it up a little bit with the prank phone call.
- 21:33Speaker 1: He's gonna run it back right after this. You're listening
- 21:36Speaker 1: to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and entertainment news Aber du Burney has signed a big
- 21:46Speaker 1: multi platinum TV deal. Hey baby, we'll talk about that
- 21:56Speaker 1: in just a few Right now, the nephew is here
- 21:58Speaker 1: to run that prank back. What your g nev my
- 22:01Speaker 1: daddy's boat. That's my daddy boat. Are you angry? My
- 22:07Speaker 1: daddy gave me that boat? For you dad, my daddy boat,
- 22:10Speaker 1: my daddy boat. It is hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 22:14Speaker 1: reach a mister Wilson. Please, mister Wilson, how are you today?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Who is it? My name is Williams. Well, listen, we've
- 22:26Speaker 1: been getting a few complaints, sir about some things on
- 22:29Speaker 1: your property there all. Who are you with? Uh? Actually
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm with the homeowners Association. Wanted to reach out and
- 22:36Speaker 1: give you a call today. Oh well, how are you doing?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Pretty good? Listen. Um, got a few things I kind
- 22:43Speaker 1: of want to discuss with you here that seemed to
- 22:45Speaker 1: be a problem that's taken place in the neighborhood there. Um,
- 22:51Speaker 1: it's been brought to our attention down here at headquarters
- 22:53Speaker 1: that you have, um, a few things on your property
- 22:56Speaker 1: that are are not functioning that really shouldn't be on
- 22:59Speaker 1: the property. Uh. You have two cars supposedly in your
- 23:02Speaker 1: driveway that are not being used, been sitting there for
- 23:05Speaker 1: quite some time. Well, yeah, well one of them I'm
- 23:07Speaker 1: currently working on. I'm almost I should have it repaired.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I'm just waiting on getting wait, wait and get a
- 23:12Speaker 1: little extra money to get it take care of the
- 23:14Speaker 1: other cars just function and I just don't drive. But
- 23:16Speaker 1: I have more than one car. Okay, Now you you
- 23:20Speaker 1: also have a camper that seems to be has been
- 23:24Speaker 1: there for at least eight months now, that's that's sitting there.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Is that correct as well? Yeah, yeah, I'm I'm working
- 23:31Speaker 1: on getting some storage for that. But it ain't really
- 23:34Speaker 1: been there eight months, just maybe around about six to
- 23:36Speaker 1: seven months. And uh, you know, I'm looking at our
- 23:40Speaker 1: past records and stuff. It seems like there was a
- 23:43Speaker 1: complaint before about the you know, keeping the yard, uh
- 23:48Speaker 1: pretty cutting all of that kind of stuff. And I'm
- 23:51Speaker 1: just looking at past complaints that I have here. Now
- 23:53Speaker 1: the biggest one that I have that that's concerning your property, sir,
- 23:57Speaker 1: is uh, supposedly in your backyard. Now there's a you
- 24:02Speaker 1: have an old boat that's in your backyard. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:06Speaker 1: but I don't see that boat bother nobody. Well, well,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I mean it's it's it's kind of a sore eye
- 24:12Speaker 1: for the people. I think. I think you guys backyards
- 24:14Speaker 1: actually bump up against each other, and you guys have
- 24:17Speaker 1: a chain link fence between the two of you all,
- 24:20Speaker 1: and I think the boat is must be just a
- 24:22Speaker 1: sore eye for the family that's behind you all. Well,
- 24:25Speaker 1: you know, I don't see myself getting rid of that boat.
- 24:28Speaker 1: So I got a cover on it. Everybody else got
- 24:32Speaker 1: a boat. I don't see. What's the problem is, Well, okay,
- 24:35Speaker 1: here's here's what's actually happening, mister Wilson. What's gonna take
- 24:38Speaker 1: place is this. Now we're gonna give you a fourteen
- 24:42Speaker 1: day extension. Fourteen days actually to move the car that
- 24:48Speaker 1: is not functioning, the camper as well, and definitely the
- 24:52Speaker 1: boat we need. We're gonna need those three items. We'll search.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I ain't gotten no, we moved boat. I just told
- 24:58Speaker 1: you I was working on so well do you hear
- 25:00Speaker 1: my stories? Called? Now the boat, now the camp, I'll
- 25:03Speaker 1: get that, take care. But the boat, the boat, the
- 25:05Speaker 1: boat my daddy gave me, and my daddy gave me
- 25:07Speaker 1: that that that's the only thing my daddy gave me
- 25:09Speaker 1: before he died. Now now I'm not moving that boat nowhere.
- 25:13Speaker 1: The boat won't get fun if I take it down
- 25:15Speaker 1: that to the water. It worked, sir, and I understand
- 25:18Speaker 1: it wholeheartedly. You know, I'm basically I'm just a messenger
- 25:22Speaker 1: I have. I'm gonna have to get the non functioning
- 25:25Speaker 1: car that's not working properly I'm gonna have to get
- 25:28Speaker 1: that out within the two week notice, as well as
- 25:30Speaker 1: the camper and definitely the boat. Now, I gotta get
- 25:33Speaker 1: that out. That's gotta be gone. I'll tell you what
- 25:36Speaker 1: I ain't moving. I'll tell you that will plant what
- 25:38Speaker 1: you're gonna do, sir, You gotta either move the boat.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna have somebody come over and haul all of
- 25:43Speaker 1: these things away. Well, i'll tell you what. I got
- 25:46Speaker 1: thirteen reasons why you won't go over and touch that boat,
- 25:49Speaker 1: and I got two bad two to thirteen twenty six.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I got thirteen and then I got another twenty six
- 25:56Speaker 1: added on to that why you won't bring Now I'm
- 25:59Speaker 1: want me to tell my dad to vote because my
- 26:01Speaker 1: dada gave me that bowl. I'll be dad, any of you.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You know, I'm tired of you with me instead cross
- 26:07Speaker 1: Street because I'm not at liberty to give you the
- 26:11Speaker 1: name who's reported my phone, So you haven't liberty give
- 26:14Speaker 1: me something because I know you know eight months and
- 26:18Speaker 1: ain't nobody said saint to him? So why the hell
- 26:21Speaker 1: y'all me about how to vote in the backyard to
- 26:23Speaker 1: my dada gave me, sir, the language is not necessary sir.
- 26:28Speaker 1: The bottom line is I want to camper out. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: want to bote out, and I want the car that's
- 26:33Speaker 1: not functioning move for the two weeks or I'm towing
- 26:36Speaker 1: it out. I'll tell you when I give you a
- 26:38Speaker 1: personal invitation to come over him, put the boat, the
- 26:42Speaker 1: campus and the car, and I I will beat you
- 26:46Speaker 1: like that's what beat you, sir. H Wow, I'm gonna
- 26:51Speaker 1: allow one car to stay. I just want to make
- 26:53Speaker 1: sure that you know that I've given you the statement
- 26:55Speaker 1: over the phone, letting you know that what what has
- 26:57Speaker 1: taken place here in the state that will take it.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But I ain't move my daddys boat. You're gonna move
- 27:03Speaker 1: your dad's stinking boats. Let me don't bring the loan,
- 27:09Speaker 1: but you bring somebody, sir, trust me, trust me. If
- 27:12Speaker 1: we come there, we're definitely gonna be bringing authorities with us.
- 27:16Speaker 1: My might will go to jail because I love my daddy.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Ain't now I want you. I'm gonna touch my daddy's boat.
- 27:20Speaker 1: That's the only left me. I got one one thing
- 27:23Speaker 1: I need to say to you, sir about this in
- 27:25Speaker 1: a situation, excuse me. All I have to say is this,

- 35:03Speaker 1: cops in Alabama are offering their sympathy but not much
- 35:06Speaker 1: else at this point. To the family of the innocent
- 35:08Speaker 1: young black man who was shot and killed at a

- 35:14Speaker 1: had been shot. The cop was shot and killed. Amantic
- 35:17Speaker 1: Bradford Junior is on paid leave after being initially hailed
- 35:20Speaker 1: as a hero until it was discovered that mister Bradford
- 35:23Speaker 1: was not the gunman and that in fact, the gunman
- 35:25Speaker 1: was still at large. Mister Bradford's father is a former
- 35:28Speaker 1: longtime employee of the Birmingham Police Department. He says his
- 35:32Speaker 1: son had a concealed weapon permit, and that his family
- 35:35Speaker 1: wants to see the cops body cam video. Now. Thoris
- 35:39Speaker 1: say there's a new information on the mass shooting early
- 35:41Speaker 1: this month at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California. Thirteen
- 35:44Speaker 1: people died in that when you may remember, including the
- 35:46Speaker 1: gunman identified as a former marine who took his own life. However,
- 35:50Speaker 1: Ventura County Sheriff of Billy Yaubs says that while they
- 35:53Speaker 1: know that the shooter, twenty eight year old David Long,
- 35:55Speaker 1: fired more than fifty rounds during the attack, he says,
- 35:58Speaker 1: the question of why did all this remain As to
- 36:00Speaker 1: the motive of the suspect, We are no closer to
- 36:03Speaker 1: determining that today than we were at the onset of
- 36:05Speaker 1: the incident. Investigators are analyzing information from the suspects family, friends,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and witnesses, as well as evidence collected from his home
- 36:12Speaker 1: and from the bar. The G twenty summit begins to
- 36:16Speaker 1: Dame Buenos Aires, President Trump already saying that he's going
- 36:19Speaker 1: to most likely move ahead with his formally announced plans
- 36:22Speaker 1: to slap more tariffs on Chinese goods. In fact, the
- 36:25Speaker 1: President tells the Wall Street Journal that he expects to
- 36:27Speaker 1: raise levies on two hundred billion dollars in Chinese imports
- 36:30Speaker 1: to twenty five percent. Now he's not leaning, he says,
- 36:33Speaker 1: towards granting Beijing's request to delay the imposition of those tariffs.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Either Trump's additional tarifs could result in consumers having to
- 36:41Speaker 1: shell out more for things like laptops and Apple iPhones
- 36:43Speaker 1: because of all the tariffs and all the parts that
- 36:47Speaker 1: that machinery takes entails rather, dictionary dot com says the

- 36:55Speaker 1: by dictionary dot com as false information that is spread
- 36:59Speaker 1: regardless of whether there is intent to mislead anybody. The
- 37:03Speaker 1: folks of the website say they selected the word misinformation
- 37:06Speaker 1: as a call to action against the fake news, which
- 37:08Speaker 1: they say has been driving Americans choices, their behaviors, and
- 37:13Speaker 1: their actions. Dictionary dot com says the word of year
- 37:16Speaker 1: again misinformation. Finally, today is National letter Writing Day, so
- 37:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna down right, this is an antwerp with the news.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:33Speaker 1: to the sty Show, all right? Jada Pinkett Smith, Jada's mother,
- 37:38Speaker 1: Adrian Banfield Jones, who's been divorced three times, and singer
- 37:43Speaker 1: Tony Braxton. They were candidly discussion discussing divorce in the
- 37:47Speaker 1: latest episode of Jada's Red Table Talk. Tony revealed that
- 37:51Speaker 1: she and her ex husband, singer Carry Lewis you remember
- 37:54Speaker 1: him from the Group Men condition, they split over money
- 37:58Speaker 1: issues stemming from her lupus diagnosis, which forced her to
- 38:02Speaker 1: cancel shows. Now take a listen as Tony talks about
- 38:06Speaker 1: how she felt about that divorce. I hated being divorced.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I hated everything about it. I hated having to surrender
- 38:13Speaker 1: to the loss. Everyone said, you don't even at the
- 38:16Speaker 1: acceptance stage. I'm like, no, I feel like a loss.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I'm waving the white flag. Yeah. She said she hated
- 38:23Speaker 1: paying a spousal support as well. She hated that divorce
- 38:26Speaker 1: is heavy. It is it is, Steve. We've both been divorced.
- 38:30Speaker 1: So what are you bringing me? What advice? What advice
- 38:36Speaker 1: can we give people? What's the best way to do
- 38:38Speaker 1: a divorce? Steve? That's not it, Tommy. You know if
- 38:43Speaker 1: you could not do it, that's probably that. That's a
- 38:46Speaker 1: Tory song. Never lie. It's just it's hard to keep somebody,
- 38:56Speaker 1: don't want you. Yeah, hard to keep somebody that don't
- 39:00Speaker 1: want you, they're already gone. And somebody sent me a
- 39:04Speaker 1: text one time that said life is too short to
- 39:08Speaker 1: wait on somebody to act, right. Wow. I like that.
- 39:13Speaker 1: And so divorce is tough, man, especially if his kids involved. Yes,
- 39:20Speaker 1: that's when it's really tough. I really can't advise nobody nothing,
- 39:25Speaker 1: so trying not to. I'll tell you what I was
- 39:27Speaker 1: describing my divorce the other day. It was like I
- 39:32Speaker 1: had climbed over a four hundred foot prison wall and
- 39:36Speaker 1: fell from the top, and I was laying there waiting
- 39:40Speaker 1: on the guards and the dogs to come take me
- 39:42Speaker 1: back in. And it took me a minute to get
- 39:45Speaker 1: up on my feet and start running. Wow. It was
- 39:49Speaker 1: like it was like I was free. It was like
- 39:52Speaker 1: being institutionalized. I was free, and I didn't know how
- 39:57Speaker 1: to be free. I felt institute lives. I kid you nothing.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Was it a game of Wall? Game of Thrones? Wall?
- 40:04Speaker 1: Was it that time? Yeah? Yeah, like the Wall, the Wall,
- 40:09Speaker 1: the Wall. You're gonna be sent to the wall, to
- 40:12Speaker 1: the nth don snow then, yes, Game of Thrones back
- 40:18Speaker 1: in April of next year. Yes, wow. All right, well listen,

- 50:06Speaker 1: that you can matter. Sure, I'm not gonna. I don't
- 50:10Speaker 1: want to. I don't want to have this turn out
- 50:13Speaker 1: to be bad and we want to have a great
- 50:15Speaker 1: homegoing for sister Deloyder. Okay, damn right. And if I

- 55:06Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter, Thank you. Subject I can't call
- 55:09Speaker 1: her husband daddy. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty
- 55:13Speaker 1: eight year old female and I have a fifty seven
- 55:16Speaker 1: year old male mentor that I work with. He has
- 55:20Speaker 1: given me great advice and helped me through some obstacles
- 55:23Speaker 1: in my life. This is the first man that has
- 55:25Speaker 1: ever treated me with respect and did not try to
- 55:28Speaker 1: sleep with me. He is like a father figure to me,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and I call myself his play daughter. The only problem
- 55:35Speaker 1: is his wife. He knew that I do not have
- 55:40Speaker 1: the only problem is his wife. He knew that I
- 55:44Speaker 1: did not have any plans for Thanksgiving dinner, so he
- 55:47Speaker 1: invited me to his home. He never talked much about
- 55:50Speaker 1: his wife, but I figured she would be just as
- 55:52Speaker 1: sweet as he is. I took a bottle of moscato
- 55:55Speaker 1: with me as a thank you for the dinner invitation.
- 55:58Speaker 1: His wife greeted me, and she was polite, but not
- 56:01Speaker 1: very talkative. She was finishing up dinner while my play
- 56:05Speaker 1: dad and I had a glass of wine and watched
- 56:07Speaker 1: the game in the din. I must have given off
- 56:11Speaker 1: the wrong vibes because his wife seemed to get irritated
- 56:14Speaker 1: with me quickly. It didn't help that I had on
- 56:17Speaker 1: a crop top and leggings and they were dressed nicely.
- 56:20Speaker 1: The next thing I knew, his wife stormed into the
- 56:23Speaker 1: din and started going off. She started with what is
- 56:28Speaker 1: this play door to mess? It went downhill from there.
- 56:31Speaker 1: My play dad did not defend me. Instead, he fixed
- 56:34Speaker 1: me a to go plate and asked me to leave.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I was shocked and hurt, and I can't believe he
- 56:41Speaker 1: let her go off on us like that. I think
- 56:43Speaker 1: she owes me an apology. Now he's been distant at
- 56:47Speaker 1: work and I don't know what to say to him.
- 56:49Speaker 1: I hope that we can still have a cool relationship.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, how should I handle this? All? Right? Now? Listen,
- 56:56Speaker 1: I know you're young, You're only twenty eight years old,
- 56:58Speaker 1: but really, though you know the letter you wrote made
- 57:02Speaker 1: you sound pretty innocent and sincere in the fact that
- 57:05Speaker 1: you feel he's a play dad to you. I'm gonna
- 57:08Speaker 1: give you the benefit of the debt of the doubt
- 57:10Speaker 1: for that. But you're going about this in the entire
- 57:14Speaker 1: wrong way. Okay, you don't go to another woman's house
- 57:18Speaker 1: dressed like that, a crop top and leggings. I mean
- 57:21Speaker 1: it was dinner, Come on, not just any dinner. This
- 57:25Speaker 1: was Thanksgiving dinner. People usually dress up, you know, if
- 57:29Speaker 1: they invite you out, you look presentable. Haven't you heard
- 57:32Speaker 1: the saying first impressions or lasting and all of that?
- 57:36Speaker 1: What was his wife supposed to think? Which you looking
- 57:38Speaker 1: like that. I mean, as my mother would say, fanning
- 57:41Speaker 1: around her husband. And then you go into the din
- 57:44Speaker 1: with him to watch the game, just the two of you. No, No, Well,
- 57:50Speaker 1: why weren't you in the kitchen with her, you know,
- 57:52Speaker 1: at least trying to help her out? Why didn't you
- 57:54Speaker 1: offer even if she said no, you stay with her,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you know. And what she did is but a lot
- 58:00Speaker 1: of wives would have done, quite frankly in this situation,
- 58:03Speaker 1: because it just doesn't look right. You guys in the
- 58:06Speaker 1: den watching the game while she she owes you nothing.
- 58:10Speaker 1: She doesn't owe you an apology. You're not going to
- 58:11Speaker 1: get one, so stop looking for that. And you can
- 58:14Speaker 1: believe he got an earful after you left about who
- 58:17Speaker 1: are you? What's his play daughter? Mess? I bet you
- 58:20Speaker 1: are playing with her. You're all of that, playing around
- 58:23Speaker 1: all of that. That's why he's been distant at work. Okay,
- 58:26Speaker 1: And he will probably say that way if he knows
- 58:29Speaker 1: what's good for him. So for your sake, I hope
- 58:32Speaker 1: this was a lesson learned about you know, how to
- 58:36Speaker 1: act around someone's wife. Okay, Steve, Okay, Shirley, everything you
- 58:43Speaker 1: said correct. As a matter of fact, you told her
- 58:47Speaker 1: the correct way to behave you gave her some good
- 58:51Speaker 1: advice clothing wise, where to said? All right, come on now,
- 58:59Speaker 1: let's just gonna tell the truth. This old ass, out
- 59:05Speaker 1: of shape woman jealous insecure you over here with the
- 59:11Speaker 1: leggings ow. She can't find no leggings that she can't
- 59:17Speaker 1: well that look like the ones you had. She can't
- 59:22Speaker 1: find it. You know about your ass over here own thanksgiving?
- 59:27Speaker 1: He like a father figure to you. He fifty seven,
- 59:31Speaker 1: she probably the same age, a little lot of shape.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Ain't what she was mad about it? So now he
- 59:39Speaker 1: invited you to his home. He ain't said nothing about
- 59:44Speaker 1: his wife. Most men don't bring up crazy people. Yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 1: we don't go man and show enjoy talking to you
- 59:52Speaker 1: because this helper our live with. He would never say that,
- 59:58Speaker 1: but I figured she would be just as sweet as
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he was. I took a bottle of moscatto with me
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to took a bottle of muscatto with me as a
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: thank you for the dinner invitation. Now let me explain
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: something to you. Hood people ain't really up on moscato.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: You had to take something else. I believe you. Morgan
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: David Man of chev Andy Greens Harvey's Bristol Creek, Yeah,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: something like that. Yeah, some Harveys Bristol cream cold up. Yeah,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to take some spanyardo. Oh I heard that spanyard. You
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: had to take something that's really cooling, something where she
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: would go, oh, wine in a box. But you know
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you're over there with your little uppity cute ass talking
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: about some bott of muscato. Nobody in here drank mosquito.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: We never had no mosquito before. What she gotta be
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: that where you get this from? Gonna bring a bottle
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: of mosquito with these tight as pants on. I can't
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: get a mosquito between them pants and your ass either.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Gona sit up in there and drink this little cheap
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: ad bottle of mosquito you rung. Why don't you bring
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: some off with it? His wife greeted me, and she
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: was polite, but not very talking. She was finishing up
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: dinner while my play dad and I see now, listen
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to me, key word. She was finishing up dinner. Listen
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: to me. She wasn't in that washing dishes. A big
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: ass was still at the table eating everybody else too.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: She and that finishing up dinner. Yeah, I thought she
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: meant she was still cooking it. Yeah, she was still
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: cooking it, Steve. Put the purposes. She was finishing up
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: dinner with my play dad. I had a glass of
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: wine and watched the game in the dinner. You don't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: watch the game after you week? All right, Hang on, Steve,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: all right, we'll come back with part two. I think
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour. The subject is I
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: can't call her husband daddy right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letters.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Subject can attitude is about nasty. This letter is about
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: nasty attitude from a certain woman. And I'm just trying
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to draw attention to what I think this attitude is.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Young girl, still got it going stuff, still sitting up,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: older lady at the house. Everything that failed. So don't
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: get mad at me, because I'm in here giving you
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: another angle. This is an angle of a strawberry ladder
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: that I'm doing. My mama was a full figured woman,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: so that ain't what this is about. I loved my
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: mama before I loved anybody. This is about this evil
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: health for right here is evil because this lady thought
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: that he was gonna be sweet just like her play
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: daddy chief in to be your play mama, though shouldn't
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: have been here. The only problem his wife had invited
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: y'all and Thanksgiving dinner. He did because he never talked
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: about his wife, because he's scared of him. Why would
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: you bring that up? Why is he afraid of his wife, Steve?
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Because something wrong with him. She's been sliding off as
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: the years go back. She's only fifty seventy. You've seen
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: some fifty seven year olds and look eighty. You have
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: seen a lot of fifty seven year olds. Look seventy.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: I think that's the case. I took a battle of
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: muscato over there. That's way too bushe for hood people. Here.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: She come in here with this battle of mosquitoscatto muscato.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Ain't nobody bought you no damn bottle of Mosquitoless? She
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: thinking all the wine she could have had, any green
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: free ball of coat, could have bought a forty of
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: Mickey's all up, and you set up here and bought
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: this cheap musquito. His wife greeted me. She was polite,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: but not very talkative. She was finishing up dinner while
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: my play Dann and I had a glass of wine
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: and watched the game and it did you know, we
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: don't watch the game to after we eat. And you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: got a glass of wine and that watching the game.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: She adn't that finishing up dinner. She was sitting there
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: at the table eating another plate. Listen, my husband, herman
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: know I had three servings. Three servings. Now he didn't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: took your skin ass in there watching the damn game.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: What does she have on, Steve, leggings and leggings and
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: a crop top to her, tell me where her belly
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: was out. She's sitting up in there. It got a
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: housecoat on from Walmart Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, that you just
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: slide over your head. It's a one piece. Sometimes it's
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a tent. Did she take them curlers out and then
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: call that now she are? She tried to look all right,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: now you're not sitting up with your play dad had
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: a glass of wine watching the game in the din,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: just the two of them. But they ended den. They
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: wasn't in the bedroom. They ended damn den. Well, then
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: she said, I must have given off the wrong vibe.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: I'm tight ass pays you damn right, you did, sitting
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: up being here with these leggings on. Because she's sitting
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: over there with a pair of dockers on, looking just
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: like leggings. Doctor I. She said they were dressed nicely.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: She said, I had on a crop topping leggings and
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: they were dressed nicely. Okay, Because his wife seemed to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: get irritated with me quickly, it didn't help that I
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: had on a crop top and some legga. They were
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: dressed nicely. Next thing I know, she stormed to the
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: den and going off, she stayed with what is this
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: play daughter? Mess Yes in the den, she didn't say,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: and it went down what is this play daughter? Sugar honey?
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Ice tea? Sugar honey, ice tea. You ain't no damn
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: play daughter sitting up in there with your own ass playing.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: It went downhill from there. Your play dad did not
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: defend me. He can't can't take her for you in
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: her house Tilding and came up in here, raising hell,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: what's her name? Tilda? Tilda? Tilling came in here? Damn?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Then then instead he fixed me to go play and
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: ask me to leave right there. I told you the
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: food would finish. He didn't, got some fall and made
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: her playing baby baby, you're gonhead to go go now.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I was shocked and her because she invited her to
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: dinner here, everybody take it to go plate something to
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: remember the day back. I was shocked and hurt and
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: can't believe he let her go off on on us
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: like that. Wait a minute, no, no, it was you.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: He can't stop at What you cannot do is defend
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: another woman to your wife. I think she owes me
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: an apology, and where you think she's gonna give you
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: this apology? Because you're better not take your add back
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: over there, because all this was was a warning shot.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: You just set that long enough. You'd been you'd have
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: been on the news. You'd have been on the ten
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: o'clock news that night. This is Houston letter right here now.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: He'd been distant at work, told you he was scared
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: of her, and I don't know what to say to him.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: You can't say nothing to her. I hope we can
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: still have a cool relationship. That's over you, Stephen Sherley,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: How should I handle this handling like it's over? Never
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: tell you you better not take your ass back over
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: there right now topping leggings. For sure, you go over there.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: In the choir rule, we get that same ass and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: some doctors immediately right now, don't go back over the
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: time about she owe you an apology? She ain't an apologize.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: I've very rarely ever seen old black people to apologize
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: and they house. Now. My mama got mad, and my
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: daddy one time said slick, tell tell her you saw
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I ain't telling the sugar hunting sugar hunt. She want
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to hear apology. You can't gonna say that the dam
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: but I ain't. Felisha, Look, we got to get out
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: of here. Steve, please, how you asked me? No sugar
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: hunting iced tea? Like? Please email us or Instagram. That's
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: your thoughts on today sugar hunting iced t If you won't,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: that's Steve Harvey FM coming up in ten minutes. Ray
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: J calls b AS on Kim Kardashian's ecstasy claim. Oh oh,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening? All right, here we go.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Carla is here with the Reality Update early edition. What
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: you got, Carla? Okay, so listen to this. So Kim Kardashian,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: she claimed that she was high on ecstasy while filming
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: her two thousand and three sex tape. It's you know.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Her claim is on home about the tape. I got
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: challenged by her partner on the tape. I got that
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: run here. Well listen to on Sundays Keeping Up with
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the Kardashians. Kim confessed to taking ecstasy twice, once when
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: she married you know, your guy, Damon Thomas back in
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: two thousand. You know, she was married very young, and
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: then again while making the sex tape. Now, according to TMZ,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: ray J is not buying it. He insists that Kim
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: never used any hard drugs or alcohol, and that she
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: was fully aware of what she was doing and was
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: one into it. Yeah, coherent me, everybody looked coherent. I've
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: been wat Yeah. So now Yeah. Sources close to Kim
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: says she's telling the truth and she has nothing to
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: gain game by making the story up. They also says
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that she's learned from these experiences to just say no
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: to drugs. So, you know, ray J is I guess
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: he's just offended by the suggestion that Kim appeared, you know,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: to be enjoying herself only because she was on ecstasy.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I watched because of him for the six times I
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: watched tape. I'm just trying to take Everybody looked like
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: they understood what's going I watched take four to six times.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Give a damn if you didn't understand. Didn't she say
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: you could tell she was on because her jaw was
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: quivering or something? Yes, yes, she said her jaw was quivering.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, my job quiver too. Yeah, that
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: was ray JJ saying, Junior, he said that was me. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: let me something. My jaw quiver all the damn time, man,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't hear a whole lot of stuff quiver.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Your jaw ain't the only thing that can quiver, you know,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: the back of my heel quiver quiver. So there you gout.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Ray J is calling her out on a calling bs
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: on that. That's according to TMZ, I've actually gone blind
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: for a small short period, Steve, I have lost my hearing? Boy,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: how did you tell me about? What did you telling about?
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: All right, listen, I've been dead for twenty four hours.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I was holland so loud. He ain't know out, Holly,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: I've actually forgotten how to walk. You understand what I'm saying. Wait,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: let me hit Steve ye. Enough more Kardashian News. Guys, Yeah,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: we got it, Kim kar alright, Steve enough, are you
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: gonna do that through this entire story, all right, Kim
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: M everybody? Yeah, yeah, you go boy and get in there.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: All right. So, as I was saying, Kim more Kardashian news,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian showed off her hubby Kanye West private seven
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: forty seven on her Instagram story. But Steve, the fans
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: were not happy about this. They were more concerned about
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: their carbon footprint than the luxury jet. Okay, this is
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: according Yeah, he has a private seven forty seven, private
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: seven forty seven, according to Yeah, what's what's your numb
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: on yours? Dog? What you got? Kanye got a seven
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: forty seven? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, what you got a three eighteen?
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: What you got that's the same thing Trump got. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: It's a plush double decker Boeing seven forty seven. It
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: can actually set up to six hundred and sixty people
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: when it's used for a commercial flight. But for Kanye,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: all that space is for his double bed suite, his
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: marble bathroom, his lounge area or is him said on
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: the buddy that must have been chartered for one time only?
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Yeah he owned it, girl, Now I don't think so well.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: What I heard was that Adidas gave it to him.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: That's what I heard, and then I heard too surely
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: they said that's unclear they did if they chattered the
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: plane for them or not. So yeah, we don't know.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Yeah that's a big plane. Yes it is a seven seven.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Um they have guest rooms dining. I know billionaires that
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: don't have that plane. Okay, so well, okay, okay, Well
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: that I do not know. I know some African Americans
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: with some planes, and they got some beautiful planes. Let
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: me tell you something. Some folks out there, Boy whoa
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: with some stuff in the air that's really really nice.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: The one person I know yours, well, I think if
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I think, if you come up with it Adidas Steve
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Harvest suit, we'll be on our way. I really do.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I think Adidas that have us right? Uh really? Man? Anyway,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: people are mad because of the amount of gas it
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: takes to run the plane. Uh you know they they're
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: saying it just seems unnecessary to them. Uh you know
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: all of the stuff they just gave away five hundred
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: thousand dollars to um wildlife fire reliefs and then um,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: then they're doing this. People don't like it. They don't
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: like it, so they think it's for the grand I
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: think it's stunting purposes. Kim Kardashian all our story. Yeah,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I don't know how to find the stories. You just
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: hit the circle. Yeah, I know they wouldn't know ecstasy.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I know that. I know everybody would come when he
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: was on that take. All right, we'll be back with
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show while Steve checks
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: it out. Right after this, you're listening to the stew
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on. You shared with us a
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: little bit about your trip to Abu Dhabi yesterday. What
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: would you like to ask? I want to know. Yeah, up,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I want to know. Huh. You know I'm a foodie.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: So the best meal you had while you wrote the
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: best meal I had in Abu Dhabi. To be perfectly
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: honest with you, we ate at Zoomer. Zooma is a
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: restaurant that's pretty famous. I think there's one in Miami.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Zoom in Miami. You can day around the world. Zoomer
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: was It's a Japanese restaurant, sushi, a lot of sushi everything.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: So that was really really good. Um, Zoomer. We was there, Okay, Okay,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I told you, I don't know, but a couple of things.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: It's Umi Umi. I've eaten that Zoomi before. Another excellent restaurat. Yeah,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: that was pretty good. But my favorite restaurant in uh
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: was at the Image Palace, and I don't know. It
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: was a Chinese restaurant, Hawkasan. That's it. Hawkasan Man the
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: best duck I've ever eaten. Really. The Imrige Palace is
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: this actual palace. No, that's the name of the hotel. Hotel,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: it's called the Imrige Palace. It's right across from the
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Presidential Palace where they have the meetings. It's not whether
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: there's no president right now. Ye should we as a
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: morning show go over and have a week or two
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: in Divide? No, because they have laws about on the radio,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: like it's certain languages and stuff, and you ain't gonna
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: be doing what do you mean, Steve? And that's why
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: you're not going? Why can't we go? Because I can't
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: quit custom of a trip of going to us everybody.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I'm just wentn't on the air, you know. I let
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you have it in whatever country though what that got
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: to do with it? I know one thing. We might
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: not speak the same language, but I bet you sugar hunted.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I iced tea translates every where I've been it works.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: So Akasan was excellent. I ate at a Lebanese restaurant.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I didn't care for it as much. I didn't think
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the food was as great. But I've had a Lebanese
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: restaurant in Dubai that was outstanding, okay, But the one
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I ate at in Abu Dhabi I didn't care for
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: that much. But um, I would probably prefer to live
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: in Abu Dhabi as opposed to Dubai because it's a
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: little quieter, but it's still so clean. It's just say, man,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: there's no crime. And like I told a guy, the ambassador,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: I said, man, I can't remember waking up and not
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: having to worry about any form of safety. I walked
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: by myself a mile and a half two miles around
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the compound, and I didn't have to worry about anything.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: There's no crime, there's no looking over your shoulder, here
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: comes somebody. It ain't none of that. Didn't you tell
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: us before about someone leaving their keys in the car
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, dude, bro, nobody gonna take nothing belong
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to you. It's the craziest thing. And It's just felt
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: so incredible to be able to walk somewhere and not
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: have to worry. And I'm I'm never able to do that.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: I don't let men, what do you? And people don't
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: know this? So when you do, when you go to
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: a place like this, what do you do for fun?
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: What is fun to you? I mean for me, I
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: have fun like I do anywhere else, like chilling. For me,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: fun is doing nothing. You know, I work so much.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: The sheer joy of sitting by the pool eating yeah,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I ain't on yeah man, I was like ordering food
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: and eating Arabic coffee. My favorite thing is Arabic coffee
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: in dates there. I love that, man, Arabic coffee in dates.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: You know, I got my cigars wherever I go. But
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you know, and just feed up man shorts every now
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: and then. But just chilling, man and just doing nothing,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: that's really fun to me, you know, I mean, you know,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: meeting people. I enjoy meeting people from other places that
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I can learn from, you know, people with position and
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: stuff like that. Yeah, I mean, you know, I mean,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: but when am I gonna meet anybody else? You know
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: what I mean? People? Well, you ain't got no regular friends? Yeah,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I don't know nobody. You know, I don't go nowhere where.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Everywhere I go somebody over there, somebody, and so you know,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I get a little crazy when I tell people that
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: they think you're arrogant. I'm not arrogant at all. It's
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: just the people that I'm around or at these places
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that I go to, are people that are kind of important,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: whatever their job title is. And I can learn stuff
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: from about their culture, about their life. To ask questions
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: about what I do, I learned from them. So it's
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: just being able to sit around and and just take
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: a breather. It's like really fun to me. So you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: could really live over there. I could live in Botswana.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: I could live in Abu Dhabi very easily. Best. I'm
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: curious about people. Oh no crime in Abu da ain't
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: nobody doing. That's wonderful. You got to worry. Don't even worry. Bro.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: All right, we're about to throwing nothing. We'll be back
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: You're listening to see if you were telling us about
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: your experience, your travel in Botswana and Abu Dhabi in Dubai,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: I think, oh, if I could suggest to people saving
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: your money. It's if you have to go to Africa
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: before you leave this world, you should go to Africa.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: You should go back to where you're from. It's it's
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: a critical trip for black people. It's so important. Man,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I can't express you. How does it change you? Why
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: do you say it's a critical trip. The way I
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: describe it is it's like going back home to a
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: place you've never been. It's very familiar. Every African I
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: said that too, said, oh my god, oh my god,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: what must that be like? They don't have any homicides
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: or shootings in Dubai. Look at it. None And why
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: do you why is that? Steve? Why? Well, that's a
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: big part of it's a Muslim country. You have to
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: respect the culture. Women are expected to dress a certain
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: way as to not create I mean like even at
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the mosque for prayer, they have a women's prayer room
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: and a men's prayer And that's what it's life. And
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: for black people, even though all of civilization started in Africa,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: that's a hard sale to some people. They don't know
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: how to accept that mankind started in Africa. But for
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: black people, you have to go go online, go to
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the websites, find a discount, get a ticket. You've got
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: to go to Africa. Man, it would change your life.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. So me and my wife
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: took a bunch of relatives to the Bahamas and we said,
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: twenty twenty, we want to take a bunch of relatives
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: to Africa. But I know nothing about where to go.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: It's so huge. It's a continent that's so big, it's
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: where with over fifty countries in it. Exactly where do
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: I go? If I have two weeks to go. If
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I can go to Africa for two weeks, where do
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: I go? I mean, I'm not an expert at it.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: But of course when you say Africa, people automatically think
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: South Africa. But it's so much more to that, as
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I've had to learn talking to Africans about the different countries,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Nigerian Synagogue, the Congo, up Africa. I mean, it's just
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: so much now, um, But you know, I would sit
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: down with a travel agent and look at options and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: make a decision for your family. But uh, you have
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: to go see South Africa, but then you need to
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: go and see some other parts. But it's so vast.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: I mean, in your life you may not. You can't
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: see it all. That's how vast of a continent. Africa's
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: a continent with fifty to over fifty some countries in it.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: So it's people that's there that ain't seen at all.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: I don't see how you could. I don't see how
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: you can see it. It is the most breathtaking scenery. Wow,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: it is shockingly raw and beautiful. And you'll see stuff
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: in Africa you can't see. You know what, all the
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: animals three and Africa ain't animals and just animals and
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: sickness and hunger and war. It's so much more than that. Man,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: we've been lied to about what Africa releaves. Wow. We'll
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Every Morning show right after this.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. The Mississippi
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: special election was yesterday Democrat Mike Espy against his opponent,
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Republican Cindy Hyde Smith. Spy supporters want at Mississippi voters
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: to turn out like Alabama voters did for Democratic Senator
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: Doug Jones beating Roy Moore. We all remember that. Well, Um,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: the President held a couple of election eve rallies to
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: promote that Republican Cindy Hyde Smith as a truly and
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: credible leader and asked regarding Democrat Mike Espy, uh, which
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: I thought was crazy when he said, how does he
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: fit in with Mississippi? Excuse me? Can you ask that question?
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: Isn't he a native son? From that? He's the native
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: son exactly, house, exactly exactly. At least Mike Espy has
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: tons of political on the national level, local level, state level. Yes, so, Steve,
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: this runoff election was about race and new elect Senator
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Cindy Hyde Smith her remarks about endorsing public hangings and lynchings.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, what is this world coming to this country?
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: What is going on? Well? You know, um, this rhetoric
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: comes from the top, and it's been made to be
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: okay to verbalize anything that you want to say. Whether
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: it's politically correct or this operating, whether it causes pain,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: whether it's bigoted, racist, it doesn't matter. It's been made
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: to seem okay. They relate to that. Well, he said it. Now,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: if the president can get away with saying the stuff
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: he's gotten away with, why not, right, let me try
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: so you expect he'll Billy Hank to restrain his tongue.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: When the President of the United States number forty five
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: does not at all. Yeah, no, it starts a wave, though,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: it starts a whole wave. That's he gets bad. Hey man,
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: everybody joins in. Everybody's saying what I want to say.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Trump was talking in Mississippi the other day. Did you
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: see the black dude with the ponytail? He was there too. Again.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: He said, all the relies, he's he's every last one Arizona.
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: They flying him around, the black dude. But when we're
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: gonna poop his head? You know, man, I was just
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: thinking that you no, sorry, I gotta say it for real, dog.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: I mean I just want to like pull him to
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: the South brothers and just go, hey man, really come on,
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: and when y'all finish, I'm gonna come back and clip
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: that damn pony. It's still all right for a good
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: as woman. It's still all right for that, isn't it.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I mean, he's he's pathetic though, man. I mean, look, man,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: let's say you're a Trump supporter. I got it, but
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: to be used like that, We're gonna put you front
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: and center as obviously token black wow, and we're gonna
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: make you the face of black people Blacks for Trump,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: take that ass off. Black for Trump. Really, you know,
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: it's just what can you say? We gotta get out
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: and vote. We've been saying that forever and ever and ever.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: I mean, it's real, our vote matters, you can't. I
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: think we did get out of vote though, And I
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: think also to mean it couldn't have just been the
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: black people that voted for him. He had to have
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: white people to him to to win. Now, yeah, you
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: know black well, you know that's that's with any election today. Yah.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Coming up next to Steve
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: with today's closing remarks right after this you're listening to
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: all right, here we are last break of the day. Um, Steve,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: you've been gone for a while. We've missed you. Uh
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: and you know it's been a minute since you've talked
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: about success in your closing remarks. So I mean, let's
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: just start from the basics. Yeah, let's see, Yeah, let's
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: get to it. Just yeah, Well, the basis of success is,
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: first of all, you must learn the principles of success.
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: Successful people lived by a set of principles. It's certain
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: things that successful people do repeatedly. You just gotta memorize them,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: learn them, and incorporate them into your world. That's really
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: how it's done. It's really not a magic trick. But
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: you just have to get to the point where you
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: know how to do it. You know, like there are
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: things that let me, let me, let me, let me,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: let me share something it. There's a lot of things
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: that successful people do that's just different. They create and
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: they pursue smart goals. They make decisive and immediate action.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Successful people focus on being productive, not being busy. Successful
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: people make logical, informed decisions. They get information. Successful people
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: avoid the trap of trying to make things perfect. You know,
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: a lot of people never get started because they want
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: everything to be lined up just right. Successful people don't
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: do the Successful people work outside of their comfort zone.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: If you want to be comfortable, you're not ever going
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: to be successful. You gotta be willing to go outside
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: of that comfort zone. You know. Successful people focus on
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: making a small continuous improvements. What throws a lot of
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: people off, y'all keep trying to make these huge leaps now,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: man inch by inch. Anything's essential, make small continuous improvements.
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: Successful people measure and track their process. They progress, They
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: keep a record of their progress. They track it so
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: they can see where the loves and the valleys and
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: peaks work. Successful people always maintain a positive outlook even
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: as they learn from their mistakes, because mistakes is a
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: part of it. Man, And successful people they spend time
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: with the right people. You gotta change your association with
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: your people. If you want to be successful, you got
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: to get around some like minded folks. You can't stay
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: with the same crew and get successful. If you stay
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: with the same crew, you're gonna be just like the
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: same crew. Association brings on participation, there's no way around that.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: And successful people maintain a balance in their life. It's
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: God first, family second, education third, and then business. Now,
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: don't give me twitted. You know what I mean by
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: God first and family second. But education third don't mean
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: you necessarily have to go to school. It just you
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: have to educate yourself to the thing you're trying to
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: turn into a business. You got to become knowledgeable about it.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: They don't mean go back to school. Those are the
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: things that make a person successful, you know. And then
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: can I give you a real simple piece of advice,
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: the Book of Proverbs. If you have not read the
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: Book of Proverbs, man, you're doing yourself a serious injustice.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: The Book of Proverbs is filled with two most important
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: things you need in life, wisdom and understanding. If you
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: gain wisdom and understanding, it will unlock and give you
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: the keys to so many problems you're facing. It will
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: give you the knowledge and the wherewithal to handle what's
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: happening to you. The Book of Proverbs, man, it's one
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: to me to me now, one of the richest books
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: in the Bible. Now you may have your favorite. I'm
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: just telling you what's mine. But what has gotten me
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: to this point today has been the Book of Proverbs,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: the book of wisdom and understanding. If you can gain
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: those two things, it's more valuable than silver and gold.
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: A wise person and a person that's able to to understand, decipher,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: shape it to where it fits. That's what wisdom and
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: understand it does. That's what I would suggest that time
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: for a question. Yes, absolutely so. I'm I'm blessed. I
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: keep getting even more blessed, and things are looking upward.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: And but I feel like I am growing away from
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: my friends because we are living two different lives now. Yeah,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: but I don't want to lose my friends. I want
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: to hold on to him because that's all I got. Well,
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: I might make it. I might make some new ones,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: but well ones I had when I had nothing, I don't.
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: I don't want to lose them, but I feel like
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: I'm slipping away from Let me ask you a question,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: how do you lose a friend? I just think we're
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: growing apart. That's I think my my, my life is changing.
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: And absolutely that's because there are certain people in your
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: life for a season. It don't mean you lose them
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: as friends. It's just you've outgrown them. Everybody come with
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: you can't go with you, and it's okay. Man, I
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: got a lot of friends. Man, I can't fool with
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: like I used to. I see them, We cool, but
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: we can't run together. First of all, they can't go on.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: No where you can go unless you pay for you
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: can't hold on see you. In order to grow, you
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: got to go for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase
