- 2:02Speaker 6: I show will good morning everybody? You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 6: the voice, come on, dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 6: Steve Harvey. Mine got a radio show, man, Yeah, dude,
- 2:13Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show because I can't tell
- 2:19Speaker 6: it to you any other way. Because God has been
- 2:23Speaker 6: so so very amazing to me. But the same God,
- 2:29Speaker 6: and there is but one that same God.
- 2:33Speaker 7: He is.
- 2:35Speaker 6: It can and will be amazing in your life if
- 2:38Speaker 6: you just allow it to happen.
- 2:41Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:42Speaker 6: I was somewhere, you know, and I was driving on
- 2:45Speaker 6: the freeway somewhere, and I saw a billboard and there
- 2:52Speaker 6: was a guy in a field on his knees. And
- 2:57Speaker 6: on this billboard it said something to the fact, when
- 3:03Speaker 6: you've run out of answers, try prayer. I was going somewhere.
- 3:11Speaker 6: I don't even remember. I go so much. Man, I
- 3:15Speaker 6: was just going somewhere and I saw this billboard and
- 3:19Speaker 6: I thought about that, And man, I cannot tell you
- 3:25Speaker 6: how true of a statement that is. When you've run
- 3:29Speaker 6: out of answers, when you don't know what to do,
- 3:33Speaker 6: when you feel weak, when you are at a low point,
- 3:38Speaker 6: when things just seem to keep happening to you, and
- 3:41Speaker 6: you don't understand why. Prayer is an amazing weapon. Prayer
- 3:48Speaker 6: is available to all of us. Here's a deal. You
- 3:54Speaker 6: don't have to go through the all of that you're
- 3:57Speaker 6: going through alone. See, I'm talking to men, women, boys, girls, students, leaders, bosses, employees.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I don't care what's happening. I don't care what your
- 4:10Speaker 6: situation is. I don't care if your relationship is all
- 4:14Speaker 6: jacked up. I don't care if your kids and your
- 4:17Speaker 6: relationship is jacked up. I don't care if your relationship
- 4:22Speaker 6: at work is shot. Your coworkers seem to always make
- 4:26Speaker 6: you the buddy end of the joke. You always somebody
- 4:29Speaker 6: always talking about you behind your back. You're finding it
- 4:32Speaker 6: more and more necessary to try to hold your head
- 4:35Speaker 6: up and walk past these people when some days you
- 4:38Speaker 6: can't even get your chin up off your chest. If
- 4:42Speaker 6: you're a woman out there and you've been alone by
- 4:45Speaker 6: yourself for so long and you just tired of being alone,
- 4:48Speaker 6: you really want a relationship, you really want to be
- 4:52Speaker 6: have a mate, you want to meet your soul mate,
- 4:55Speaker 6: whatever it is, whatever it is, prayer is the answer.
- 5:02Speaker 6: You are listening to a guy who is a direct
- 5:06Speaker 6: recipient of prayer. I can't tell you anything that I've
- 5:12Speaker 6: gotten out of that I didn't pray about. Oh, now,
- 5:17Speaker 6: there are a lot of things. Hold on, let me
- 5:19Speaker 6: backtrack a little bit. There are a lot of things
- 5:21Speaker 6: that have happened in my life that I've gotten past
- 5:25Speaker 6: without praying, because I think my mama was praying for me.
- 5:29Speaker 6: And then there's this thing that God has called grace
- 5:31Speaker 6: and mercy that he just somehow keeps us all waking
- 5:35Speaker 6: up every day without foot on some form of solid
- 5:39Speaker 6: ground because He's just waiting on us to come to it.
- 5:43Speaker 6: But y'all, if you can implement prayer into your day
- 5:48Speaker 6: every single day, and I'm talking about put it in
- 5:52Speaker 6: there at the top of your day, put it in
- 5:55Speaker 6: there in the middle of your day, put it in
- 5:57Speaker 6: there when you close your day. Out when you're sitting
- 6:01Speaker 6: at your desk and ain't nobody bothering you. That's a
- 6:04Speaker 6: good time.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Now.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Look, you don't have to make no sing. You ain't
- 6:09Speaker 6: got to let everybody know, Oh I'm spiritual, I love God,
- 6:12Speaker 6: look at me, Oh I'm down, or you ain't got
- 6:14Speaker 6: to do none of that. Matter of fact, don't do
- 6:16Speaker 6: it for that reason, because if that's your reason for
- 6:19Speaker 6: doing it, that's gonna be your reward. If you want
- 6:21Speaker 6: somebody to just say, oh, they pray every you know,
- 6:24Speaker 6: they pray at lunch and they have a Bible on
- 6:26Speaker 6: they desk and they have a bunch of highlights in it.
- 6:29Speaker 6: If you sitting it out there so people can see
- 6:31Speaker 6: that that's what you do, then that's gonna be your reward.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Please know that's gonna be your reward. What I want
- 6:39Speaker 6: you to do is pray. Ask God for the things
- 6:44Speaker 6: the desires of your heart, have a faith, believe in them.
- 6:50Speaker 6: But pray earnestly.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Man.
- 6:53Speaker 6: I mean, actually go at it with saying, hey, God,
- 6:56Speaker 6: listen to me. I can't do this without you. I
- 7:00Speaker 6: need your help. Listen, man, I know a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 6: people that pray. I know a lot of it. If
- 7:06Speaker 6: I told you the rich and famous that I talk
- 7:11Speaker 6: to that pray constantly. It would have made you go
- 7:14Speaker 6: talk to God about it. Man. Matter of fact, you
- 7:17Speaker 6: done already got yourself into trouble. Go talk to God
- 7:21Speaker 6: about it. You can't see no way out. You're in
- 7:24Speaker 6: a situation. You're thinking about doing something straight crazy. Pump
- 7:28Speaker 6: your brakes, partner, Slow down a little bit, my man,
- 7:31Speaker 6: Slow down. Don't. All you're gonna do is make situation worse.
- 7:36Speaker 6: Go over there today and talk to God. Talk to
- 7:42Speaker 6: God for real.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Just look, man. You know what.
- 7:46Speaker 6: Man, Sometimes I've gone to God and I've just said, Hey, God,
- 7:50Speaker 6: I don't have a clue. Matter of fact, I'm so
- 7:54Speaker 6: jacked of right now. God, I don't even really know
- 7:56Speaker 6: what to ask you for. I just need some help.
- 7:59Speaker 6: So deep in some mess right now. Not only can
- 8:05Speaker 6: I not see the way out, I can't see my
- 8:07Speaker 6: way round. There's a there's a poem called in Victors,
- 8:13Speaker 6: and the opening line says, out of the night that
- 8:17Speaker 6: covers me black as a pit from pole to pole.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I thank God's for whatever be for my unconquerable soul.
- 8:30Speaker 6: That this line is so deep. It starts off saying
- 8:34Speaker 6: I am in deep trouble. I'm in a pit, black
- 8:40Speaker 6: as a pit.
- 8:41Speaker 7: From pole to pole.
- 8:43Speaker 6: I'm talking about man. From over there to over there,
- 8:46Speaker 6: it's pitch black.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And and and man, the man.
- 8:54Speaker 6: You've been in that situation before, y'all, because I have.
- 8:58Speaker 6: I'm talking about black as a pit from pole to pole.
- 9:04Speaker 6: God is there. God is available. God is always standing by.
- 9:11Speaker 6: He just wants you to come to him. See he
- 9:16Speaker 6: been coming to you a whole lot of times. He's
- 9:18Speaker 6: presented himself. I can't tell you how many times he's
- 9:22Speaker 6: shown you how good a god he is. He's given
- 9:25Speaker 6: us all grace and mercy without us asking for it.
- 9:27Speaker 6: He's gotten you through some things. And you looked hum, going, oh, man,
- 9:31Speaker 6: I don't know how the hell. Okay, that's cool, I'm cool.
- 9:34Speaker 6: No no, no, no, no, that wasn't cool. That was God.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Pray man, when you out of answers and you don't
- 9:41Speaker 6: know what to do, pray. If you see some trouble,
- 9:43Speaker 6: come and pray. If you already got into it, pray
- 9:46Speaker 6: if you don't know the answers, Pray if you can't
- 9:49Speaker 6: see no way out, pray. Pray man, Talk to God.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Don't make a scene. Just talk to God. All right,
- 9:56Speaker 6: very important.
- 9:57Speaker 7: You're listening to the Steve, y'all.

- 46:27Speaker 4: You know what Shirley called you. You know, sometimes you
- 46:29Speaker 4: got to call the church and just ask. Sometimes, you know,
- 46:33Speaker 4: when it's heavily on your mind, it's heavily on your mind,
- 46:38Speaker 4: and there's some things you need to get off of it.
- 46:40Speaker 4: You know, sometimes you got to do it. You got

- 47:51Speaker 1: first and foremost.
- 47:52Speaker 8: Okay, cool, thank you. You know, we just want everybody
- 47:54Speaker 8: to be safe and healthy.
- 47:56Speaker 1: And your name again, the brother line of Thompson.

- 48:04Speaker 5: Brother?
- 48:05Speaker 4: Well, here, here's what I wanted to ask you. Man, Uh,
- 48:08Speaker 4: I want to ask you this. I know, you know
- 48:10Speaker 4: a lot of people are going through different things and
- 48:12Speaker 4: and uh, people are you know, trying to make sure
- 48:16Speaker 4: they keep food and stuff in the house because it's
- 48:18Speaker 4: you know, time like this. You know you kind of
- 48:19Speaker 4: want to stay put, and but you want to make
- 48:22Speaker 4: sure you got enough food and water.
- 48:23Speaker 1: And things like that.
- 48:24Speaker 4: So but but but what I wanted My reason for
- 48:26Speaker 4: calling you is I wanted to ask you how how
- 48:30Speaker 4: much money do we have in the account? Come again,
- 48:35Speaker 4: the church account?
- 48:36Speaker 1: How much money do we have in there?
- 48:38Speaker 4: Brother?
- 48:39Speaker 5: Brother?
- 48:39Speaker 8: What what do you say? Your name was? Again?
- 48:41Speaker 5: Brother?
- 48:42Speaker 1: My name is Brotherlanel Thompson.
- 48:44Speaker 8: Okay, Brother Thompson. How did you get my personal cell
- 48:47Speaker 8: phone number to be calling me at home the time
- 48:49Speaker 8: of day?
- 48:50Speaker 4: Well? I got this number from one of the brothers
- 48:52Speaker 4: at the church.
- 48:53Speaker 8: What what, brother Tuck? They know not to give my
- 48:55Speaker 8: personal numbers to to people I don't know.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Are you?
- 48:59Speaker 4: Well, I'm I'm but I'm a but I'm a member
- 49:01Speaker 4: though I'm a member.
- 49:03Speaker 8: Well, how long you been a member? Because I've been
- 49:05Speaker 8: pasting this church for ten years and your name ain't
- 49:07Speaker 8: familiar to me. How long? How long you been a
- 49:09Speaker 8: member of my church?
- 49:11Speaker 4: I've been a member of probably going on going on
- 49:14Speaker 4: three years now, but I ain't I ain't been since,
- 49:18Speaker 4: you know, since that day I joined. You know, you know,
- 49:20Speaker 4: I kind of got caught out there, you know how
- 49:22Speaker 4: I go.
- 49:23Speaker 8: But uh yeah, wait, wait wait wait wait wait, So
- 49:25Speaker 8: you you've been a member of my church two or
- 49:27Speaker 8: three years? You ain't been to the church in two
- 49:29Speaker 8: to three years. Are you calling me to ask me
- 49:32Speaker 8: about finances of my church? Well, I'm say what you're
- 49:35Speaker 8: looking for?
- 49:36Speaker 4: Well, I am a member, so I mean I do
- 49:38Speaker 4: have to Don't I have the right to know what
- 49:40Speaker 4: we got in there? What we got in the account?
- 49:43Speaker 8: Actually you don't. You don't have to write to that question.
- 49:45Speaker 8: If you don't actively come to the church. You can't
- 49:48Speaker 8: come to the church, sign up the church, and then
- 49:50Speaker 8: call me three years later asking me what we got
- 49:53Speaker 8: going on at church. So I need to understand what
- 49:56Speaker 8: is your purpose?
- 49:57Speaker 4: What do you Well, like I say, everybody going through hard,
- 50:00Speaker 4: I'm trying to see what we got in there, because
- 50:03Speaker 4: you know, I need to pick up a few things
- 50:05Speaker 4: from the stove. I don't have the money right now,
- 50:08Speaker 4: But shouldn't I be able to lean.
- 50:10Speaker 1: On my church?
- 50:11Speaker 4: Though?
- 50:11Speaker 5: You can lean on that.
- 50:12Speaker 8: We've done a lot of stuff in the community. We've
- 50:14Speaker 8: been seeing the elderly. We got a full bank. We've
- 50:17Speaker 8: been cash after people some money that when we can.
- 50:20Speaker 8: But you ain't been at this church in three years.
- 50:22Speaker 8: You can't call me after three years and think I'm
- 50:25Speaker 8: about to give you some money for someone I don't
- 50:27Speaker 8: even know. If you're a real member.
- 50:28Speaker 4: I am a real man. I'm a real member. So
- 50:30Speaker 4: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, pastor, hold on, no, no,
- 50:34Speaker 4: hold on, no.
- 50:35Speaker 8: No, no, you hold on what boy? Look here, I'm
- 50:38Speaker 8: trying to sit down and have dinner with my family.
- 50:40Speaker 8: You sitting here on my last night, and look here,
- 50:42Speaker 8: brother Thompson, I don't know you. I ain't never heard
- 50:46Speaker 8: of you. You am not about to call here and
- 50:48Speaker 8: try to get some money out of me. You ain't
- 50:50Speaker 8: even a member of the church.
- 50:52Speaker 4: I am a member of the church.
- 50:55Speaker 8: Because you come to the church one time, you ain't
- 50:57Speaker 8: been back in three years, and you come to me
- 50:59Speaker 8: for some money. I am a member gave your mama.
- 51:02Speaker 8: You are not a member of this church, sir.
- 51:04Speaker 4: I am a member of the church. Look, look, look,
- 51:07Speaker 4: let me tell you something. I know this ain't no.
- 51:11Speaker 8: Tell you where You can't call my church two or
- 51:14Speaker 8: three years ago and called me three years later, get
- 51:17Speaker 8: my number from somebody and ask me for money because
- 51:19Speaker 8: you're going through hard times.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Now.
- 51:20Speaker 8: If you was a true member of the church, you'll
- 51:22Speaker 8: understand how we work and how we give money to
- 51:25Speaker 8: people that's struggling. I just delivered forty meals today to
- 51:29Speaker 8: our elderly. Huh, last week we cashed out people money
- 51:33Speaker 8: to go pick up grocery parents.
- 51:34Speaker 4: Well do you need do you need my cash out?
- 51:37Speaker 7: Then?
- 51:37Speaker 4: Do you need my cash?
- 51:39Speaker 8: Boy? Boy, you gonna make me because you ain't even tithing?
- 51:43Speaker 8: So how you not tithing?
- 51:45Speaker 5: You?
- 51:45Speaker 4: I told you I have fell on bad times? Didn't
- 51:48Speaker 4: I say I fell on bad times?
- 51:49Speaker 8: You fell on bad times for three years?
- 51:52Speaker 4: Hey, hey, you know it takes longer for some people. Okay, fact,
- 51:55Speaker 4: why are you? Why are you judging me in opposed
- 51:58Speaker 4: to trying to figure out how to cash.
- 52:00Speaker 8: So I can get on a member of my church.

- 56:20Speaker 4: We got it for you.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Here.
- 56:21Speaker 4: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:23Speaker 7: Thank you, nephew. Subject her subject, her injury.
- 56:27Speaker 6: Is not my fault.
- 56:28Speaker 7: You're Stephen Shirley. I am dating a cheater and he
- 56:31Speaker 7: just asked me to marry him, and I was thinking
- 56:33Speaker 7: of saying yes, but then one of his side chicks
- 56:37Speaker 7: press charges against me. I am what, That's a lie
- 56:42Speaker 7: right there?
- 56:43Speaker 1: That's the opening, Okay.
- 56:45Speaker 7: In November I found my man on the side of
- 56:48Speaker 7: a building in his car, naked from the waist down,
- 56:52Speaker 7: and a woman was running across the parking lot away
- 56:55Speaker 7: from his car because she saw me pulling up.
- 56:58Speaker 1: I fired a.
- 56:59Speaker 7: Warning shot with an air gun that I keep just
- 57:02Speaker 7: to scare a criminal away. When the gun went off,
- 57:05Speaker 7: she got scared and fell like she had been shot.
- 57:08Speaker 7: I thought it was funny, and so did my boyfriend.
- 57:10Speaker 7: I took my boyfriend's pants and his car keys, and
- 57:13Speaker 7: he called the police on me. Witnesses said I fired
- 57:16Speaker 7: a gun, so after examining my airgun, the policeman issued
- 57:20Speaker 7: a fine and I went and paid it the next day.
- 57:24Speaker 7: I wasn't worried about the side chick because my man
- 57:26Speaker 7: was on his best behavior and stuck to me like glue.
- 57:29Speaker 7: He spoiled me for Christmas and I got three rings
- 57:32Speaker 7: to choose from. When he asked me to marry him,
- 57:35Speaker 7: I was still trying to play hard to get and
- 57:37Speaker 7: I hadn't said yes yet to his proposal. I planned
- 57:41Speaker 7: to marry him, but now I have to deal with
- 57:43Speaker 7: being sued by the side chick that fell in the
- 57:45Speaker 7: parking lot. She pulled a muscle, sprained her ankle, and
- 57:50Speaker 7: had a gash on her leg, and kneaded stitches.
- 57:53Speaker 5: She didn't have.
- 57:53Speaker 7: Insurance, so she's suing me for two one hundred dollars
- 57:58Speaker 7: twenty one hundred dollars tripped in the er that night.
- 58:02Speaker 7: I am not responsible for her injuries. I think that
- 58:05Speaker 7: my boyfriend is responsible and she should sue him instead.
- 58:09Speaker 7: This has created a major conflict in our relationship. He
- 58:13Speaker 7: wants me to pay it so we can get on
- 58:15Speaker 7: with our lives. He won't even give me half of
- 58:18Speaker 7: the money. If it wasn't for him cheating, she never
- 58:20Speaker 7: would have fallen in that parking lot. Should my boyfriend
- 58:23Speaker 7: pay up?
- 58:24Speaker 1: Or is this all my fault?
- 58:26Speaker 7: Okay, the simple answer is yes, he should pay his
- 58:30Speaker 7: side chick his responsibility. All right, that's the quick answer.
- 58:35Speaker 7: But the real problem here is why are you even
- 58:37Speaker 7: considering marrying this man?
- 58:40Speaker 2: Why?
- 58:41Speaker 7: Why are you guys together? What's going on here? I
- 58:44Speaker 7: don't get it. A man you yourself described in the
- 58:47Speaker 7: first paragraph of this letter as a cheater. You caught him,
- 58:51Speaker 7: I mean literally, with his pants down in the parking lot.
- 58:56Speaker 7: You saw the side chick running away and you shot
- 59:00Speaker 7: at her. What in the hot ghetto mess is going
- 59:03Speaker 7: on here? What are you guys doing? This relationship is
- 59:08Speaker 7: a disaster. Waiting to happen, and stuff has already happened
- 59:13Speaker 7: that should make you turn away. And please don't waste
- 59:16Speaker 7: your time or your money getting married to this man,
- 59:19Speaker 7: because it's only going to end in divorce.
- 59:22Speaker 1: All right, it's a hard no for me, Steve.
- 59:26Speaker 6: This is an episode of forty eight Hours. This is
- 59:31Speaker 6: an episode of Dateline. This is an episode of American Greed.
- 59:38Speaker 6: This is an episode of this. This is not even
- 59:42Speaker 6: a strawberry letter. I'm never we have it. I don't
- 59:47Speaker 6: remember a letter with this level of criminal activity in it.
- 59:55Speaker 6: I just don't listen, y'all as I'm reading a letter.
- 59:59Speaker 6: This is what I'm here.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: So let's go.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: I'm dating a cheatah and he's asked me to marry him,
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: and I'm thinking about saying yes. Let's just stop right here. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: let's just pump the brakes right here. Let me read
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: this to you again. I'm dating a cheetah and he
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: asked me to marry him, and I'm thinking about saying yes.
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: Right after this, we off to the races. This letter
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: right here is one I be damn statement after the
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: text because I just don't even understand I'm dating the cheatah.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: He has me to marry.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: I'm thinking about saying yes, and we're off to the races.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Next line, but then one of his side chicks press
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: charges against me.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Let's stop right here. What what that in this letter?
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: There is nowhere to breathe in this letter?
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: This letter is packed with incredible ass information. I was
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: thinking about saying yes, but then one one of his
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: side had chicks press charges against me. Then she tried
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: to calm it down. In November, I found my man
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: on the side of a building in his car. This
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: is the most rest you getting this letter with this
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: line right here, I found my man on the side
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: of the building in his car. Most people in their
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: lifetime have been on the side of a building in
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: a car, so that's nothing along. But we've all been
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: in our car on the side of a building. That's
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: the only rest moment in this letter. He would go
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: back to crazy naked from the waist down and a
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: woman who was running across the parking lot away from
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: his car cause she saw me pull it up.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: What is going on in this damn letter? And it
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: don't stop there? Next line, I.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: Fired a warning shot with an air gun that I
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: keep to scare a criminal away. What you shot at
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: this woman and you call it a warning shot. That's
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: you know, when you go to court, that's actually called attempted.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: There ain't no cop.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: I find a warning shot with an air gun that
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: I keep to scare criminal. Way hang on, Oh when
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: I come back, I can't we go. We're gonna get
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: back into it because this is the most what the
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: hell going on? Let I've ever read?
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Tu He is all right?
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: We'll have part two of your response coming up Steve
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: at twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: subject her injury.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Is not my fault.
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: Steve Hardy morning shot.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: At the hun Day Getaway sales event. Get deals so right?
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: It all feels wrong. Now it's the best time to
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: get the Hyundai car or suv you've always wanted. Plus,
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: every new Hyundai comes with America's best warranty and three
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: years or thirty six thousand miles of limited complimentary maintenance.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Don't think you can get away with all of that?
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: Think again, But don't wait. The Hondai Getaway Sales event
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: is going on now. To visit your local Hondai dealer today,
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: it's a great day for a new Hondai.
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: The subject is her injury is not my fault.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: Listen to me.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Like I said, this is the most what the hell
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: going on? Letter I've ever read. I like to crew
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: to join in with me on this. Every time I
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: say Dean, I want y'all to say what the hell. Okay,
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: I'm gonna say Dean, and y'all just say what the
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: hell so y'all can understand how I read this letter. Ready,
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a cheetah. He asked me to
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: marry him, and I was thinking about saying yes.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: Dean, what the hell?
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: What the hell?
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: In November? But then one of his side chicks pressed
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: charges against me. Dean, in November, I found my man
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: on the side of a building in his car, naked
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: from the waist down, and a woman was running across
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: the Parcket lot away from his car because she saw
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: me pulling up.
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: Dean, what the hell?
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: That was my favorite line.
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: I fired a warning shot with an air gun that
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: I keep just in case to scare a criminal away.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: Dean, what what.
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: When the gun went off, she got scared and fell. Dean,
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: I know why she failed.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Because she thought she was shot.
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: I know exactly why she fell like she had been shot.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: I thought it was funny, and so did my boyfriend.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: Dean, What the hell?
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: You thought it was funny, and so did your boyfriend.
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: Well after you y'all thought that was funny, I took
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: my boyfriend's pants and he and his car keys he
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: called the.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: Police on me.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: Dean, what the hell is happening in here?
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: Wait a bit, man.
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: A minute ago, you fired a shot, she fell. You
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: thought it was funny, and the boyfriend thought it was funny.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: But ada, you took his pants into the car keys.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: He your boyfriend called the police on you. Okay, I
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: don't need y'all's help no more. I think y'all understand
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: what this letter is about. Let me take it from here, witnesses,
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: I'll be there. Witnesses said, I fired a gun, So
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: after examining my air gun, the policeman issue to find
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: and I went and paid it the next day. Okay,
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: do you understand what's happening in here? Witnesses said, I
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: fired a gun.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: You told us you fired again.
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: Lady, you wrote in this letter that you fired a gun.
- 1:06:21Speaker 6: You could talking to us about what the hell the
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: witnesses said you confessed. Confessions is carrying a lot of
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: weight in court. Baby, You ain't really need no questerns.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: You really don't need too many witnesses. Once you say
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: I did it, okay, I went and paid it the
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: next day. I wasn't worried about the side chick because
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: my man was on his best behavior and stuck to
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: me like glue. What You're not worried about this side
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: chick because your man was on his best behavior and
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: stuck to my side like glue.
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: What goodness?
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: He spoiled me for Christmas, and I got three wings
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: to choose from when he asked me to marry him. Lady,
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: you got three what rings choose from? Ain't no man
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: got money for three engagement rings unless ain't now one
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: of them real? You got three zarconias when he asked
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: me to marry him. I was still trying to play
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: hard to get and I hadn't said yes yet.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: To his proposal.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: I'm planning to marry him, but now I got to
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: deal with being sued by the side chick that fell
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: in the parket like like you're talking about the lady
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: you shot at that one right there that felled in
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: the parking lot. She pulled a muscle, sprained her ankle,
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: and had a gash on her leg and kneaded stitches.
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: Ain't this the same girl you and your boyfriend was
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: laughing at before you took his car keys and pants
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: and then he called the police. This was the same
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: chick y'all was laughing at. Now she done pull the muscle,
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: sprain the ankle, and got some stitches. She didn't have insurance.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Oh I know that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: I know that all y'all don't sound like insurance type people.
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: She didn't have insurance, which one of her insurances what
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: she called. You can't call your life insurance people about this,
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: can't call your homeowners insurance people about this, and you
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: can't call your car insurance people about this. What insurance
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: what she's supposed to have unless she had Obamacare, which
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: has a medical device. But then I can promise you
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: that the deductible gonna swallow up that two grand, So
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: she might well take her ass on down there and
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: pay this help. But anyway, she sawed me for twenty
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: one hundred for her trip to the eyard at night.
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: I'm not responsible for her injury.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Yeah you did?
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: You shot at her? Called her the fall anyway, I
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: think my boyfriend is responsible and she should shoe sue
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: here instead. Okay, this has created a major conflict in
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: our relationship. He wants me to pay it so we
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: can get on with our lives. If you don't pay

- 1:16:27Speaker 7: a few weeks, and I invited my friends so we
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: could have a lot of great sex and I'd have
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: someone to hang out with. He said that his girlfriend
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: would never go for that, so he can't go. What
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: man would turn down a free trip to Hawaii? Why
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: can't he tell her that we're just friends? That's too
- 1:16:44Speaker 7: far because you're not just for ye and she's not stupid? Right,
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: it's too fall.
- 1:16:51Speaker 4: You can't make it happen at fall. But when you
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: call Hawaii you rely out.
- 1:16:56Speaker 13: Of the country. To be honest with you, you're not.
- 1:16:58Speaker 13: It's a state, I know, but it's not to it
- 1:17:01Speaker 13: ain't connected. Okay, Yeah, it's too far. You can't cheat
- 1:17:07Speaker 13: that far. I'm just trying to take as hard as
- 1:17:08Speaker 13: too far.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Seems like you could though, the farther the better, right,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: she can't up?
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, pop up, but it's too far.

- 1:17:24Speaker 3: It's just based on the distance. Yeah, you cant geography. Yeah,
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: what you're saying, you can't.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: Lie that far. It's just hard.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Too much, that's true.

- 1:17:50Speaker 4: so they where they need to Uh yeah, yeah, y'all

- 1:18:24Speaker 7: Morning Show. All right, here's a question for you guys.
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: How drunk do you have to be to get in
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: a police car and think it's a taxi?
- 1:18:35Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: A Georgia man was arrested last week in Florida after
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: he hopped into the back of a police car and
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: tell the police officer that he was sitting in the
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: driver's seat. That was sitting in the driver's seat to
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: take him home. What it was? A thirty one year
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: old man. He was very, very drunk and may have
- 1:18:59Speaker 7: believed the cop car was a taxi or an uber,
- 1:19:02Speaker 7: even though the car's emergency lights were flashing.
- 1:19:05Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:19:06Speaker 7: The officer told him to stay seated in the car
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: and then drove him to jail, where he was booked
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: for trespassing in an occupied structure. The man was able
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: to sober up. I bet he was overnight and he
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: bonded out of jail the next day.
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: But what did that? Let's go.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Driving? Let's go well, I.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Mean the silver Lining is lease heating drive?
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: He didn't.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm not mad, and he knew he
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: could drive himself, so heah, but he was.
- 1:19:54Speaker 5: Step on it.
