- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all have a suit on giving them just
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the milking, but things and its stubbs. Steve listening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to Steve, I want to join me. You got turn
- 1:24Speaker 1: you turn to turn them out, turn, got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: mout water the water. Come, come on your thing. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on digny now, one and only Steve
- 2:10Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. You know, I think I'll
- 2:12Speaker 1: explain something to y'all. You know when I when I
- 2:15Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and I say, dig me now,
- 2:19Speaker 1: what I'm asking you to do is it's old school,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you know, man, And you know you say old people
- 2:24Speaker 1: say I dig you know, never stop saying it. Sorry,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:31Speaker 1: don't you really feel me? Don't you to understand what
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration is all given
- 2:38Speaker 1: in the spirit of sharing and love. It ain't about
- 2:42Speaker 1: to expose me in any way. That's not the purpose
- 2:45Speaker 1: of it. But I found that in my morning inspiration
- 2:49Speaker 1: that it's best that I use some things about myself,
- 2:52Speaker 1: because I mean, what better example can I use? Because
- 2:54Speaker 1: I know me, I know what's happened to me. I
- 2:57Speaker 1: knew exactly how I felt all along the way concerning
- 3:00Speaker 1: almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now fully
- 3:05Speaker 1: do really understand why God had my life spend the
- 3:09Speaker 1: way it spun. And here's the part that I want
- 3:12Speaker 1: to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 1: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:18Speaker 1: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:22Speaker 1: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 1: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:35Speaker 1: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:42Speaker 1: direct opposite is true for those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 1: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's as
- 3:54Speaker 1: simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down any cleaner,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So
- 4:06Speaker 1: the one glaring question for all of us always is
- 4:10Speaker 1: on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What are
- 4:13Speaker 1: your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Because I can assure you and it's not by or
- 4:23Speaker 1: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 4:27Speaker 1: Harvey then came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 1: This is biblical, this is spiritual, this is written, this
- 4:36Speaker 1: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe. However,
- 4:40Speaker 1: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 4:43Speaker 1: it down and feel what I'm saying to you. This
- 4:47Speaker 1: is just the way it is now. And here the
- 4:49Speaker 1: cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe me
- 4:54Speaker 1: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 4:58Speaker 1: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 5:02Speaker 1: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 1: it is. It is as scriptural, it is as spiritual,
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is philosophical, it's just whatever. It's the law of
- 5:17Speaker 1: the universe. You call whatever you want call. However, you
- 5:20Speaker 1: got to dress this thing up to put it in
- 5:23Speaker 1: the phase that you can feel me. I want you
- 5:25Speaker 1: to feel me now, because this all it is. So
- 5:28Speaker 1: when I say that you are where we are today
- 5:32Speaker 1: because we thought ourselves here, or your best to believe
- 5:35Speaker 1: that's true. You thought yourself here, no one else see.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 1: so badly want to take credit for it. But I
- 5:47Speaker 1: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 1: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 1: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 1: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:10Speaker 1: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 1: of people around me want credit for it and want
- 6:16Speaker 1: you to not give credit to God and give it
- 6:19Speaker 1: to them. I got that. I got that, But I
- 6:21Speaker 1: understand that. See, I understand what that is. That's a
- 6:25Speaker 1: person whose design is to get the credit. But it's okay.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It's so clear to me what my father was saying
- 6:33Speaker 1: to me. Man, I get it. As I get older
- 6:35Speaker 1: and older, he always said to me, son, everybody come
- 6:39Speaker 1: with you, can't go with you. See, you know, I
- 6:43Speaker 1: don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:51Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then hither
- 6:54Speaker 1: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 1: forget where you come from. Oh, you ain't gonna keep
- 7:00Speaker 1: it real no more. I don't want to go back
- 7:04Speaker 1: where I come from. I don't want to keep it
- 7:06Speaker 1: that real no more. It was real enough for me
- 7:09Speaker 1: living in a car. I had enough of that real.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I don't gonna keep it real now. I don't keep
- 7:14Speaker 1: it real. I wanna go keep it dreamy. I want
- 7:16Speaker 1: to go keep it fantasized. I want I want to.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 1: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 1: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball, and
- 7:25Speaker 1: I want to see what that's like. So naw, I
- 7:28Speaker 1: ain't gonna forget why I come from, But you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 1: gonna hold me to that thought. See, thoughts become things
- 7:35Speaker 1: all day long? Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 1: things that you wan't written down? What do you think
- 7:43Speaker 1: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:47Speaker 1: God has done for you? Where you at with that?
- 7:51Speaker 1: See here another law? If thoughts become things, let me
- 7:57Speaker 1: ask you this. If all are you thinking about is
- 8:01Speaker 1: your debt, If all you're thinking about is what you
- 8:04Speaker 1: ain't got, If all you thinking about or is old,
- 8:08Speaker 1: woe is me? If all you're thinking about is every
- 8:10Speaker 1: time I turn around. I'm sick if all you thinking
- 8:13Speaker 1: about it's the things in life that you're lacking. If
- 8:19Speaker 1: that's all you're thinking about, and if thoughts become things,
- 8:26Speaker 1: how much debt you think you're gonna stay in, how much?
- 8:29Speaker 1: How much how much lacking you think you finn to
- 8:32Speaker 1: feel your life with? How much most stuff you find
- 8:36Speaker 1: to not have because you keep thinking about it all
- 8:41Speaker 1: the time. When you're gonna be grateful, when you're gonna
- 8:45Speaker 1: say thank you, when it's gonna come out your mouth, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that I may not be where I want to be,
- 8:52Speaker 1: but I sho am grateful for what you've given me
- 8:55Speaker 1: so far, for the things I have today because I
- 8:58Speaker 1: don't have to have these things. You know, if that
- 9:01Speaker 1: does that then opens up room for more stuff to
- 9:04Speaker 1: come your way. To be grateful fall. But if you're
- 9:07Speaker 1: gonna be ungrateful, oh man, let me ask you something.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I ain't God, I don't claim to be, But let
- 9:13Speaker 1: me ask you something. Man. If you're ungrateful for the
- 9:16Speaker 1: things we got, if we can't show no gratitude for
- 9:19Speaker 1: what we have, why would God give us some most
- 9:23Speaker 1: stuff to be ungrateful for? Why would he do that
- 9:26Speaker 1: for t anybody feel me right now. So when I
- 9:31Speaker 1: say come on, y'all, dig me, now, do you understand
- 9:34Speaker 1: why I say dig me? Because I want you to
- 9:36Speaker 1: feel me. I want you to understand and come to
- 9:38Speaker 1: the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because so many people
- 9:41Speaker 1: got a deeper understanding than me about this whole thing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I promise you they do, but they listen to me.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get you to walk up in
- 9:48Speaker 1: this light, man, so you can go on with your
- 9:50Speaker 1: life and quit tripping yourself out with your thoughts, because
- 9:53Speaker 1: thoughts become things, all right, all day. You're listening, ladies
- 10:01Speaker 1: and gentlemen right here, right now, this moment in time.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's a new day, man. I appreciate it. But think
- 10:09Speaker 1: about that. Do you know you had nothing to do
- 10:12Speaker 1: with the sunrise this morning, You had nothing to do
- 10:15Speaker 1: with nightfall last night. You had nothing to do with
- 10:19Speaker 1: that clock ticking. You had nothing to do with you
- 10:23Speaker 1: breathing that night. But Yett, still you here anyway? Now.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I don't know about you, but that sounds like some
- 10:34Speaker 1: favor to me. That sounds like somebody somewhere I think
- 10:40Speaker 1: I know who it is is doing us all as solid.
- 10:45Speaker 1: So since I know who it is, I would say,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I want to say thank you Lord for doing us
- 10:50Speaker 1: as solid today. And if they ain't thanking, yeah, I'm
- 10:53Speaker 1: thinking you on Navyhead, thank you Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 11:00Speaker 1: or get it surely start very calling for calling for
- 11:03Speaker 1: real Mouth of the South Junior government name is killed
- 11:09Speaker 1: space dadda name? Who got a name? Oh? I was like,
- 11:21Speaker 1: for real the legend that is nephew Tommy and I
- 11:26Speaker 1: am him Junior. A lot been going on in your
- 11:32Speaker 1: life lately? What's happening? You know? You know what? Man?
- 11:34Speaker 1: I appreciate that opening because I needed man because I'm
- 11:37Speaker 1: gonna tell you man, I got to stop gospiing with
- 11:39Speaker 1: my grandmother. This ain't working. This ain't working because don't
- 11:42Speaker 1: nobody hyped you up like old people. Old people know
- 11:45Speaker 1: how to gossip. I know my grandmother is is a
- 11:48Speaker 1: bridge at it because she gonna give me some information
- 11:50Speaker 1: that I can't do nothing with. I don't even know
- 11:52Speaker 1: why I waited for it, but she has called me
- 11:54Speaker 1: on the phone and just high start I know some
- 11:56Speaker 1: gossip company. Because soon as I had the phone she
- 11:58Speaker 1: bot like hello, she was like m hum, what is it?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Granted found out something? What what you got. Betty Joe
- 12:08Speaker 1: lost two toes. I just want to let you know
- 12:10Speaker 1: I knew it because she was walking funny. I can't
- 12:12Speaker 1: do nothing with that information wide in the head. We
- 12:14Speaker 1: talked about Betty Joe missing two toes. And let me
- 12:17Speaker 1: tell you another thing. What happened? Curtis DNA test came
- 12:20Speaker 1: back negative. I knew that wasn't hit baby. Why we
- 12:23Speaker 1: talked about Curtis and this baby hype me up had
- 12:26Speaker 1: me believe it was something I could really use. I
- 12:28Speaker 1: can't do nothing with this information that she'd be hyping
- 12:31Speaker 1: me up for. I should do this year, hang up
- 12:33Speaker 1: and called right back. Found out something math what's going on? Granted?
- 12:42Speaker 1: What is it with it? Want to let you know
- 12:46Speaker 1: the il Belka closing? What the church closing? Past? It
- 12:49Speaker 1: got called gambling off the office list. I can't do
- 12:51Speaker 1: nothing about the gambling over with out, so listen. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: thought it was something going on with me. I can't
- 12:57Speaker 1: do nothing with none of this information. And wise, you
- 13:00Speaker 1: just don't find something else to do with all this,
- 13:02Speaker 1: gospil go get in your flower bed, read your Bible,
- 13:05Speaker 1: try to get into heaven. You ain't. We'll get in
- 13:07Speaker 1: here with all this GOSSIPI and I know you need
- 13:10Speaker 1: just gossiping. Just don't have nothing else to do. That's
- 13:17Speaker 1: what it is. That's something for you today. What is
- 13:25Speaker 1: just stop? Don't tell me, just let huh. Yeah, all right,
- 13:36Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:38Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:40Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening show, it
- 13:46Speaker 1: is time now to start your morning off with the
- 13:48Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back. Good morning, neph What
- 13:51Speaker 1: you got hot checks at the shut? It is Easter
- 13:58Speaker 1: week right, we're leading into Good Friday. Coming up on
- 14:05Speaker 1: Easter Sunday, we have to discuss things that go on
- 14:10Speaker 1: at the church. So this right here has hot checks
- 14:13Speaker 1: at the church. Cat dog, if you hould hello, Hello,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Monica system. Monica. Please, this
- 14:23Speaker 1: is brother Deshaun. I'm calling actually I'm a member Greater
- 14:27Speaker 1: Commissionary Baptist Church. How can I help you? Calling you?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Actually about the offering? Now? Did you I know you
- 14:32Speaker 1: paid your ties every Sunday? Okay, now you pay the
- 14:36Speaker 1: love offering as well? Right? Yes, I do? Okay, Now
- 14:40Speaker 1: this past Sunday I'm looking at a check that you
- 14:43Speaker 1: left us with the bank, right, right, I sure did.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I wrote a check Sunday. Okay. Now the check, ma'am
- 14:50Speaker 1: was two hundred and fifty dollars. Am I correct? Right? Right?
- 14:54Speaker 1: I wrote two checks for my ties and the love Offering, right,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I wrote one for two fifty for the love of Okay? Now,
- 15:01Speaker 1: what is this call regarding why are you calling me? Well,
- 15:04Speaker 1: what I wanted to tell you is that I hate
- 15:06Speaker 1: to be a very bad news but your check that
- 15:09Speaker 1: you wrote for two fifty actually has bounced. And wait
- 15:14Speaker 1: a minute, you said my check bounce for two hundred
- 15:16Speaker 1: and fifty dollars. Your check bounce. So what I'm doing
- 15:19Speaker 1: is calling you about recouping the two fifty as well
- 15:22Speaker 1: as you know you you cost us thirty dollars in
- 15:27Speaker 1: bank fees. But wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I wrote a check for one hundred dollars. Did that
- 15:32Speaker 1: one bounce? I don't see to it that that that
- 15:34Speaker 1: one bounced. All I know is the one that the
- 15:36Speaker 1: Love Offering has bounced. What did you put them in
- 15:39Speaker 1: at the same time? Because I wrote him at the
- 15:40Speaker 1: same time. They all go in on Monday ma'am. Now,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I didn't put them in at the same time. I've
- 15:45Speaker 1: been putting them in for the last two three years.
- 15:47Speaker 1: The problem is, why would people write there, what is
- 15:49Speaker 1: your name, brother, Deshaun? And you was at it Sunday?
- 15:53Speaker 1: I was there. I don't think it matters. And when
- 15:55Speaker 1: I was there, man, the problem is that I didn't
- 15:57Speaker 1: put these checks in. And I don't understand why y'all
- 16:00Speaker 1: write these checks to the track. They're gonna write these checks.
- 16:04Speaker 1: There's a lot of people right that good, well not right?
- 16:06Speaker 1: Bad checks? One clear? Why the other one didn't clear?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't have enough money for both of them
- 16:11Speaker 1: to clear. What what did you just say? Maybe you
- 16:15Speaker 1: didn't have enough money in the bank for both of
- 16:16Speaker 1: them to clear. I don't understand why people write these
- 16:18Speaker 1: claning money in the bank at all? My checks clear.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I don't write no rubber checks. Well, you wrote one
- 16:24Speaker 1: on Sunday, and that's the problem. How you're gonna try
- 16:27Speaker 1: to give a lotus Wait a minute, I think you
- 16:29Speaker 1: got me confused with somebody else. I don't write no
- 16:31Speaker 1: bad checks. You didn't wrote there to be nice to you.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to be nice to you. Win up, can
- 16:35Speaker 1: we expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars, So
- 16:38Speaker 1: thirty dollars. That's the bank feeds man for the doll
- 16:41Speaker 1: gonna check bouncing. My check didn't bounce. I don't check
- 16:45Speaker 1: my bank. And if my check clear, you're gonna pay
- 16:47Speaker 1: me thirty dollars for calling me harassing me about a
- 16:50Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty dollars check bounce. I don't write no.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Why would you write check? What you want to sit
- 16:55Speaker 1: up in the church and write these big number checks
- 16:57Speaker 1: when you know you ain't got it in the bank.
- 16:59Speaker 1: What did you say? I said, why would you write
- 17:02Speaker 1: these checks when the money ain't in? Now, let me
- 17:05Speaker 1: tell you it's one thing. I don't write no bad check.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And you got a lot nerds calling me telling me
- 17:12Speaker 1: my check bounce. Y'r check is the one that has bounced.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And you tell you what you do since my check bounce,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you paid them, since you got all the money, And
- 17:19Speaker 1: don't call me with this again. Hello, don't you hang
- 17:25Speaker 1: up on me no more? When an't we gonna get
- 17:27Speaker 1: this two fifty and this thirty dollars? Somebody from the
- 17:32Speaker 1: church to my eye wrote a bad check. I'll write no,
- 17:35Speaker 1: you didn't write a bad check. I didn't write no
- 17:37Speaker 1: bad Yes, why are you calling me? Why the treasure?
- 17:41Speaker 1: Don't call me at church? The treasure is business. I
- 17:44Speaker 1: ain't ever know the deacon called nobody about no bad check?
- 17:47Speaker 1: Your fully thank you? You got the money I ain't got.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Is that in the background? Who is that a mind?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Who it is? We're both going to the same church
- 17:58Speaker 1: and you're gonna call me to my I wrote a
- 18:00Speaker 1: bad check. You don't you call me no more? And
- 18:03Speaker 1: if the check bads you paid? Okay? Passed to know
- 18:06Speaker 1: you talking like this? Do pass to no you calling me?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Can you ask for that? Look? When are we gonna
- 18:12Speaker 1: get this? Two hundred and eighty dollars is what we're
- 18:14Speaker 1: looking for from you. I wrote a check for two
- 18:16Speaker 1: fifty and not get two eighty. You put the thirty
- 18:20Speaker 1: dollars with it. You put two fifty in there, It bounced.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Thirty dollars cost us on baked fees. That's two eighty.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Where can the church expect their money? Never? Not no
- 18:30Speaker 1: two eighty. You will never get to eighty. You're gonna
- 18:32Speaker 1: make me come by your and my check in what
- 18:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna do? What you're gonna make me come by
- 18:37Speaker 1: your house and get this money. Bring it own, bring it,
- 18:41Speaker 1: bring it? What is the address on this check? Check?
- 18:44Speaker 1: I got it off the check, bring your own. I
- 18:47Speaker 1: bet you you'll be limping back and I'm watching you.
- 18:49Speaker 1: You bet not be spending no money nowhere. You've bet
- 18:52Speaker 1: not spend nothing until I get this two fifty plus
- 18:55Speaker 1: thirty whatever I want to Okay, know you, you know
- 18:58Speaker 1: where I am. And you don't call me no more
- 19:00Speaker 1: with this because my check did not bounce. I don't
- 19:03Speaker 1: see how one check went through and the other bounce.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Let me say this to you, we cannot accept you
- 19:08Speaker 1: back into the House of the Lord no more until
- 19:11Speaker 1: you are not don't you come in the Sunday until weekend.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Coming up in the Sunday, and I'm gonna make sure
- 19:17Speaker 1: I find you because you the person I want to
- 19:20Speaker 1: see you. And you know what, I'm gonna call the
- 19:22Speaker 1: pastor right now and ask him because I don't believe
- 19:25Speaker 1: my check bounce. You fully what? Let me say this,
- 19:28Speaker 1: before you called pastor, I got no, I'm an called pastor. No.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You should have talked with pastor before you call me
- 19:33Speaker 1: with this information. I got one more thing I need
- 19:36Speaker 1: to say You ain't got nothing to say to me.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You don't upset me with this I'm talking about I
- 19:40Speaker 1: bounced a check. You should have went to passer before
- 19:43Speaker 1: you call me with you. I tall a pastor one
- 19:45Speaker 1: I got, but I got one more thing to say
- 19:47Speaker 1: before I leave. But you're listening. What do you have
- 19:49Speaker 1: to say to me? What do you have to say
- 19:51Speaker 1: now that you're gonna pay the check? This is Nephew
- 19:54Speaker 1: timing from the Steve Harvey Martin Show. You just got
- 19:58Speaker 1: prank by your girl? What did you say? Baby? This
- 20:06Speaker 1: isn't what did you say? I'd say? This is nephew, Tommy,
- 20:11Speaker 1: baby brother Steve Harvey Morning. Tell your girlfriend has pranked you.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat that. He just left him her. Let
- 20:25Speaker 1: me ask you what more? Thank though? Baby? What is
- 20:27Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve Harvey Morning?
- 20:36Speaker 1: All Right, Nephew, did I do? Did I make you proud?
- 20:39Speaker 1: That's all I want to know? How checks at the
- 20:42Speaker 1: church by this Holy week? We're scared? All right? Look?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Thank you? Tommy? Coming up next, it is asked the
- 20:50Speaker 1: CLO with our Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You're listening to Morning show coming up at the top
- 20:59Speaker 1: of the hour, legendary singer and actress Stephanie Mills will
- 21:03Speaker 1: be our special guest. Stephanie Mills, this is a moment
- 21:10Speaker 1: right here. She will tell us about her brand new
- 21:13Speaker 1: Lifetime movie called Pride, starring her very own nephew Tommy
- 21:17Speaker 1: as her son. We'll talk about it. We can't wait
- 21:19Speaker 1: for all of that right now, though, it is time
- 21:22Speaker 1: to ask our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey asked the
- 21:26Speaker 1: clo Selene and Trenton says, I'm dating a woman that
- 21:30Speaker 1: has no idea of how much things cost in real life,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and she thinks money grows on trees. I asked her
- 21:37Speaker 1: if we could use some of her hotel points for
- 21:39Speaker 1: two nights of our summer trip, and she said, no,
- 21:43Speaker 1: Am I asking too much of her? Well, Cello, I
- 21:50Speaker 1: mean you're not asking too much of her, especially if
- 21:54Speaker 1: you all have decided to make a go of it
- 21:57Speaker 1: as a couple, and some times you do have to
- 22:01Speaker 1: band together, especially when it comes to these wants, these
- 22:06Speaker 1: like what you call luxury items. A vacation is a
- 22:09Speaker 1: luxury item. It's not a necessity. Everybody don't get vacations.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You know, if you got a job, you deserve a vacation.
- 22:17Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying. But what I am saying
- 22:20Speaker 1: is when you all decide to take these luxury atom
- 22:22Speaker 1: vacations and you are a committed couple, I think there
- 22:25Speaker 1: has to be some considerations on both sides. Look, just
- 22:29Speaker 1: because you want to go to the mal Ds, we
- 22:32Speaker 1: got Vegas money and now we don't go. Now, if
- 22:36Speaker 1: you want to go, then we gotta pull our resources
- 22:40Speaker 1: to make that happen. So no, you're not asking too much.
- 22:43Speaker 1: But the fact that she said no, that she doesn't
- 22:46Speaker 1: want to make any contribution, I think you have to
- 22:48Speaker 1: take that into consideration. You know, be very careful who
- 22:54Speaker 1: you choose to spend the rest of your life with.
- 22:57Speaker 1: In the words of Newry Mohammed, your other half can
- 23:02Speaker 1: either make you your better half or make you half
- 23:05Speaker 1: of yourself. Okay, all right, now, new Remote Hoammed, what's
- 23:13Speaker 1: up with your player? That's my dude? That my dude
- 23:19Speaker 1: is new Remote hummed? Many time I see that brother,
- 23:23Speaker 1: he writes, he he never said nothing wrong. Okay, all right,
- 23:29Speaker 1: Jessie and Knoxville, Steve says, or Clo says. My husband
- 23:33Speaker 1: and I have two children. One is his and one
- 23:37Speaker 1: is mind. We blend the family nightely. But his ex
- 23:40Speaker 1: wife thinks we do more for my son than for
- 23:42Speaker 1: her son. If we had her son more, he'd reap
- 23:45Speaker 1: all of the benefits too. How do we bridge the gap? Look?
- 23:50Speaker 1: She that's her talking. You know. She mad anyway because
- 23:55Speaker 1: he got you. She ain't mad because y'all get the boy.
- 24:01Speaker 1: She mad because he got cute. It ain't nothing you
- 24:04Speaker 1: can do. If you gave him exactly what he had,
- 24:09Speaker 1: she'll find something else because that ain't what she mad.
- 24:12Speaker 1: She ain't mad, or what her son and getting she mad,
- 24:15Speaker 1: or what her son's mama ain't got. That's what that is.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So you know, I mean, you know you could do
- 24:23Speaker 1: everything you want too. Mad hell have no fury like
- 24:27Speaker 1: a woman scorn. You ain't gonna make her happy. I
- 24:31Speaker 1: don't care what you do, No su that all right?
- 24:37Speaker 1: So how does she? How does she bridge that? I
- 24:40Speaker 1: just told you it ain't nothing. She could do nothing,
- 24:47Speaker 1: having her over for dinner and none of that. That
- 24:49Speaker 1: boy calls it can have every item in it. The
- 24:51Speaker 1: other boy guy, it's gonna be something else. George Gains
- 24:55Speaker 1: video game. Everybody, Oh you man, you ain't gonna math
- 25:00Speaker 1: all right, Moving on to Leslie and South Bend. That
- 25:03Speaker 1: Leslie says, I'm thirty two years old and my aunt's
- 25:06Speaker 1: husband is paying my car note temporarily until I get
- 25:10Speaker 1: on my feet. My boyfriend said that I should tell
- 25:13Speaker 1: my aunt because it's not right. I think it might
- 25:16Speaker 1: cause a big scandal in our family. And what do
- 25:19Speaker 1: you think I should do? Well, you know it's gonna
- 25:22Speaker 1: create a bit scandal in the family. You're taking car
- 25:25Speaker 1: note money from your aunt's husband. And why is he
- 25:30Speaker 1: giving you the card? No money? Come on, you know what? Why? Yeah?
- 25:34Speaker 1: And why don't nobody know? And why ain't he told
- 25:39Speaker 1: your aunt? Right? He told her knees right, because the
- 25:44Speaker 1: whole plan is he's throwing time. And notice right here,
- 25:51Speaker 1: when you go deep sea fishing, get a bucket of
- 25:55Speaker 1: guts and cut up fishing stuff and you throw it
- 25:57Speaker 1: in the water, it's called chumming. Yeah, it's called chumming.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And what that does is it attracts fish. Yeah. And
- 26:08Speaker 1: when you're attractive fish, you throw your lure in the
- 26:11Speaker 1: water and you have a better chance to catching the fish.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The car note he didn't throw in the water is chumming. Yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 1: we've just threw it in there and it got a
- 26:25Speaker 1: hook on it. You're gonna thank you biting into a
- 26:27Speaker 1: piece of meat, but it's gonna have a hook in it.
- 26:30Speaker 1: And the hooky is you want your car? No pay
- 26:33Speaker 1: next moment, boy, Hey, I'm paying that car note. You
- 26:37Speaker 1: know I can get his rent to Ye. It's called
- 26:40Speaker 1: chumming because auntie husband has some expendable income somewhere. See,
- 26:46Speaker 1: Auntie ain't even asked about where the card no money
- 26:49Speaker 1: going because he makes enough. Old men got player moves
- 26:52Speaker 1: in it. Anyway, you look at this, it's growls a
- 26:56Speaker 1: text yea. Anyway, your boyfriend said bee. Because your boyfriend
- 27:02Speaker 1: wants to stop because he knows what the old man
- 27:04Speaker 1: up to because if he had the money that would
- 27:07Speaker 1: he'd be up to. So he want to put a
- 27:09Speaker 1: stop to it and have you go in there and
- 27:11Speaker 1: tell on. But when you do that right there, you
- 27:13Speaker 1: know what you're feend to be and you know why
- 27:15Speaker 1: you're taking this money. Let's put playing, and you know
- 27:19Speaker 1: why he keeps giving it to you. Let's quit playing.
- 27:23Speaker 1: This is a lot right here that's gonna be the
- 27:25Speaker 1: controversial controversial. Why is he giving you money? And then
- 27:29Speaker 1: what you think the response gonna be Yeah, it's gonna
- 27:33Speaker 1: be cracking. It's already to have it started. Took it, it
- 27:37Speaker 1: it started once you took the money at Yeah, it's
- 27:39Speaker 1: a lot of it's family. It's too much. Yeah, we've
- 27:46Speaker 1: been to do it in that car. We're gonna do
- 27:48Speaker 1: it somewhere. Caught it. Yeah, all right? Last one, last one.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Marianne and Harrisburg says, I'm a fifty five year old
- 27:57Speaker 1: Caucasian woman and I only date black man. Now. My
- 28:00Speaker 1: black girlfriends get upset when we're out and I try
- 28:03Speaker 1: to hit on the same man that they like. They're
- 28:05Speaker 1: always telling me to stay in my lane? How do
- 28:08Speaker 1: I get this to stop? I don't hear the last part, Sherley, Okay, lane,
- 28:17Speaker 1: how do I get this to stop? Where you didn't
- 28:20Speaker 1: rode into me a black dude to tell your black
- 28:25Speaker 1: girlfriend how to start treating their white girlfriend. You think
- 28:35Speaker 1: Steve Hardy, Uncle Steve or the CLO gonna dip his
- 28:40Speaker 1: toe in that water? You didn't call the wrong show.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Nothing I say that ain't on them sisters side. All
- 28:49Speaker 1: that's gonna blackfire on me and I'm not gonna have that.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Uh uh, stay in your lane? All right? I ain't
- 28:58Speaker 1: saying go ahead. Uh now you ain't coming from me. Uh,
- 29:02Speaker 1: you know coming and you've been there before. We're having you,
- 29:05Speaker 1: Steve coming up at the top of the hour. Thank you, Fielo.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Stephanie Mills will be our special guest and we can't
- 29:13Speaker 1: wait right after this. You're listening as promise our special
- 29:21Speaker 1: guest this morning. Is a Grammy Award winning single songwriter.
- 29:25Speaker 1: She got a Tony Award, damn near egot. Her iconic
- 29:34Speaker 1: role as Dorothy and the Weirds in the early seventies
- 29:36Speaker 1: made her one of America's real sweethearts. He's got a career,
- 29:39Speaker 1: y'all that span over four decade and she's still singing
- 29:43Speaker 1: in act she got at Her newest movie out is
- 29:47Speaker 1: called Pride. Pride a seventh Deadly Seeing story. She's joining
- 29:51Speaker 1: us to day to tell us about the movie in
- 29:53Speaker 1: her role. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for
- 29:56Speaker 1: the one and only that singing an Miss Stephanie Miller
- 30:05Speaker 1: asking sane long yes, good morning, I love you guys,
- 30:12Speaker 1: Good morning, Miss fifteen Harvey and everybody and my son Gage, Tommy, nephew, Tommy, baby,
- 30:18Speaker 1: I love you, we love you back. We had such
- 30:22Speaker 1: a good time in Vancouver. We shot the movie Pride
- 30:26Speaker 1: for Lifetime in seventeen days and Tommy was still doing
- 30:30Speaker 1: your Morning, still in the morning. Yeah, I still came on.
- 30:35Speaker 1: That's a requirement. I don't let him. I don't let
- 30:37Speaker 1: him play us short. I know for everybody that's listening,
- 30:44Speaker 1: what Stephanie me, Miss Stephanie Mills is talking about as
- 30:47Speaker 1: a movie out called Pride, a seven daily scenes story.
- 30:52Speaker 1: She stars in the movie as Bertie Moore and Briss
- 30:56Speaker 1: Moore is a is a baker shop owner and a
- 30:58Speaker 1: reality TV and in the movie, Bertie's life begins to
- 31:03Speaker 1: fall apart and her family all of our family's secrets
- 31:06Speaker 1: get exposed. Tell us a little bit more about your character,
- 31:09Speaker 1: Bertie Moore. Well, Bertie plays I played sixty year old woman,
- 31:13Speaker 1: but really I just had a birthday and I'm sixty six.
- 31:16Speaker 1: So Derrick Williams, Derrick Williams who called me and offered
- 31:21Speaker 1: me the role, and then we took care of business
- 31:23Speaker 1: and I flew to Vancouver. But Bertie is the matriot
- 31:27Speaker 1: of the family, and she was working so hard to
- 31:30Speaker 1: make sure her family were secure that she neglected her son,
- 31:34Speaker 1: which is played by nephew Tommy and her daughter, and
- 31:38Speaker 1: her pride got in the way of the family structure.
- 31:41Speaker 1: So it shows how prideful people can really destroy a family,
- 31:45Speaker 1: Like if you're afraid to say, I'm sorry, I missed up,
- 31:48Speaker 1: can we start all over. There's a lot of families
- 31:51Speaker 1: like that, including even in mind that the pride just
- 31:55Speaker 1: gets in the way. And then nephew Tommy plays gay
- 31:59Speaker 1: and he is he you know, he's a bad boy.
- 32:03Speaker 1: He was ray very well and well off and had
- 32:06Speaker 1: everything handed to him and then he decides to to
- 32:10Speaker 1: u uh give his own bakery and really he's not
- 32:14Speaker 1: He's just filling the money Tommy. Yeah. Nephew Timmy, who
- 32:29Speaker 1: was Tommy's miles he started as your son gave in
- 32:32Speaker 1: the movie. Yes, and he is absolutely wonderful. He should
- 32:37Speaker 1: really really pursue an acting career because he put it down,
- 32:42Speaker 1: he really did. We had we had a great a
- 32:45Speaker 1: great director to uh Troy Scott who really just let
- 32:50Speaker 1: us uh embody the role in Ella uh Sea King
- 32:55Speaker 1: Near King who plays my granddaughter, was wonderful and a
- 32:58Speaker 1: special guest appearance. But missus Erica Campbell, Oh, We're gonna
- 33:04Speaker 1: get to hear you saying in this movie. Oh, I
- 33:06Speaker 1: don't know. There's a surprise there, but I'm really not
- 33:11Speaker 1: why I chill, why I liked this roment. They waited
- 33:13Speaker 1: until I was sixty six to give me a acting role, Uh,
- 33:18Speaker 1: because I wasn't singing and I was just you know, acting.
- 33:22Speaker 1: So I hope everybody thinks it's good. I've never really
- 33:25Speaker 1: considered myself an actor, but I had fun and I
- 33:29Speaker 1: it was joyful, So I think it's wow, that's really good.
- 33:33Speaker 1: But you know what, we've seen you in several things acting. Now,
- 33:37Speaker 1: come on, you know, because a lot of plays, all
- 33:40Speaker 1: kinds of stuff. You can act. You can act. Stop
- 33:45Speaker 1: this here, boy, what you thought you wasn't because you
- 33:48Speaker 1: can act that law? Yeah? Yeah, So Timmy, you were
- 33:54Speaker 1: in the movie. What was your experience with miss Meal? Amazing?
- 33:57Speaker 1: Every every day on set on camera, she was amazing.
- 34:01Speaker 1: We worked together, we got them lines together, and we bonded. Well.
- 34:05Speaker 1: You I think you really gonna walk away thinking that
- 34:08Speaker 1: that's a mother and her son. I think we portrayed
- 34:11Speaker 1: it the right way. And this is you know, Saturday night,
- 34:15Speaker 1: Lifetime Movie Channel. You do not want to miss it.
- 34:17Speaker 1: You're gonna see me and Stephani Klein. You want to
- 34:19Speaker 1: see somebody mad at their son. Good God him minded. Yeah, honey,
- 34:25Speaker 1: we were getting those lines together. We would after you know,
- 34:28Speaker 1: one shake, we would all go in the corner and
- 34:30Speaker 1: get our lines together. Because it was every day something
- 34:33Speaker 1: they cut in new lines. So I was like, Lord,
- 34:37Speaker 1: please just let me remember my line please, and we did. Yeah. Well,
- 34:42Speaker 1: I mean it sounds like it's gonna be a great movie. Man. Well,
- 34:45Speaker 1: I mean we're really looking forward to it. The movie, everybody,
- 34:48Speaker 1: I want you to listen to this. The executive the
- 34:51Speaker 1: executive producers are Derek Williams, Miss Sean Robinson and T. D. Jakes.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Those three people that's executive produce. And and let me
- 35:02Speaker 1: ask you one thing before we get out here, what
- 35:04Speaker 1: when people watch this movie? Stephanie's the takeaway for this
- 35:08Speaker 1: movie that being prideful is not the right avenue to
- 35:12Speaker 1: take for a family structure, for a relationship, for anything.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I mean, you can't. If you're upset with somebody and
- 35:19Speaker 1: they passed away, then you never got a chance to
- 35:22Speaker 1: get it right. So I would advise people not to
- 35:25Speaker 1: let their pride get it away up saying I'm sorry,
- 35:28Speaker 1: I was wrong. I didn't mean it. Wow. And a
- 35:31Speaker 1: lot of people need that message. Everybody this Saturday. The
- 35:34Speaker 1: movie is called Pride, A seven Deadly sin story premieres
- 35:38Speaker 1: this Saturday, April eighth, at eight pm Eastern only on Lifetime.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Starting the legendary Miss Stephanie Mill and that damn full
- 35:49Speaker 1: of ours nephew. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together
- 35:56Speaker 1: for the legend Miss Stephanie Mill. You're listening to show well.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And what was probably the most watched criminal arraignment in
- 36:08Speaker 1: American history, Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty in New
- 36:14Speaker 1: York to criminal charges related to the Stormy Daniel's hush
- 36:17Speaker 1: money payment. The indictment centers on allegations that Trump falsified
- 36:21Speaker 1: internal business records at its private company while trying to
- 36:25Speaker 1: cover up an effort to illegally influence the twenty sixteen
- 36:29Speaker 1: election by arranging payments that silenced claims potentially harmful to
- 36:35Speaker 1: his candidacy. Each count of falsifying business records of felony
- 36:40Speaker 1: is punishable by up to four years in prison, though
- 36:44Speaker 1: it's not clear if a judge would impose any prison
- 36:46Speaker 1: time if Trump is convicted. If you saw Trump's speech
- 36:50Speaker 1: at Marlago, then you saw that he didn't care about
- 36:54Speaker 1: the judge's gag order. Well, the judge didn't really give
- 36:57Speaker 1: him a gag order. He just told him to be
- 36:58Speaker 1: careful with what he was saying. He went right on
- 37:01Speaker 1: ahead and his wife, his daughter just because of what
- 37:11Speaker 1: I took the documents from the White House in plain sights. Yeah,
- 37:17Speaker 1: in the world. But you know, man, what he does
- 37:20Speaker 1: is by announcing this man's daughter and wife that sends
- 37:23Speaker 1: those Trump crazies and he knows out there y to
- 37:28Speaker 1: make phone calls, get on the internet and start hating
- 37:31Speaker 1: on these people. Yes, they've already gotten threats told. He
- 37:35Speaker 1: told countless lies in his speech the other day. At
- 37:40Speaker 1: what's amazing, man, is he does nothing to heal people.
- 37:44Speaker 1: He does nothing to heal America. Nothing. It's all about him.
- 37:51Speaker 1: And the sad thing about this man is I'm just
- 37:55Speaker 1: really it's really good for me though, to see this,
- 37:59Speaker 1: because that has really really put a glaring spotlight on
- 38:04Speaker 1: how America really is. Explain to me how seventy million
- 38:11Speaker 1: people out of the three hundred and fifty four at all,
- 38:15Speaker 1: three hundred and fifty four million of people live here
- 38:17Speaker 1: in America are not qualified to vote? Know that? How
- 38:20Speaker 1: did that large percentage of people vote for this man,
- 38:24Speaker 1: you know why, because they just like him. They are
- 38:28Speaker 1: just like him. They have no problem with a man
- 38:33Speaker 1: having a point o chick in his stable, a playboy
- 38:38Speaker 1: bunny in his stable, paying him hush money, taking the
- 38:44Speaker 1: other one up to the apartment, showing him his apartment
- 38:46Speaker 1: with Milania room at and all like that. They got
- 38:49Speaker 1: no problem with that, because there's a whole lot of
- 38:51Speaker 1: trump and trumpets walking around in this damn curtain that
- 38:54Speaker 1: we'll have more of a Steve every morning show coming
- 38:57Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, and we'll
- 38:59Speaker 1: check your voicemail Steve right after this. You're listening to
- 39:03Speaker 1: morning show, It is time now to check Steve's voicemail.
- 39:08Speaker 1: If you would like to leave Steve a message, call
- 39:11Speaker 1: him at eight seven seven twenty nine Steed eight seven
- 39:14Speaker 1: seven twenty nine. Steve, you might just hear your call
- 39:17Speaker 1: on the air. So Steve, are you ready ready? This
- 39:21Speaker 1: woman needs marital advice. Hey, Steves, I got a question
- 39:25Speaker 1: for you. I've been in a merge for three years
- 39:28Speaker 1: and me and my husband and that's sixtieth and as
- 39:31Speaker 1: of nine months ago, he stopped talking to me. Called
- 39:35Speaker 1: my love for my children which is from my previous merge.
- 39:38Speaker 1: And so if we are in the same household but
- 39:43Speaker 1: living separate, is that called separation? And can I get
- 39:47Speaker 1: a divorce after one year being in the same home
- 39:50Speaker 1: in separate rooms? Thank you see? Yes, yes that's the answer. Yes,
- 39:56Speaker 1: I'm a professional. Just here. Yes, listen to me. Listen
- 40:01Speaker 1: to me, lady out. You ain't got to do that.
- 40:10Speaker 1: This is crazy. Whatever time you got left on this earth,
- 40:15Speaker 1: you ain't got time for no foolishness. A man ain't
- 40:19Speaker 1: talking to you in your own house because of your
- 40:22Speaker 1: love for your children from previous man that you made
- 40:25Speaker 1: them kids them your kids. Yeah, and if your huband
- 40:28Speaker 1: got a problem with that man, he didn't know them
- 40:30Speaker 1: kids was alive when y'all got married. Goodness, no man,
- 40:35Speaker 1: uh miss me? You know, yes, you can get out.
- 40:39Speaker 1: That's why he was by himself when you met him,
- 40:43Speaker 1: because he needed to be by myself walking in the house.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Ain't speaking to your wife for nine months? Oh wow? Yeah,
- 40:54Speaker 1: they ain't. They ain't done it and everything's not talking
- 41:01Speaker 1: to her. You can't assume. I mean, everybody walk over
- 41:07Speaker 1: visible way to live it really is. It is man
- 41:11Speaker 1: in the house with somebody. Man that that that you're
- 41:14Speaker 1: not talking to for nine months. Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 41:19Speaker 1: We're moving on to a Dante who has a question
- 41:22Speaker 1: for you. Alight on, mister Harvard, Mistance Dante. That was
- 41:26Speaker 1: calling to um see what's said, um stake you said
- 41:30Speaker 1: about have holy and whatever you saying out that as
- 41:34Speaker 1: the phrase you said, and then what you say it
- 41:36Speaker 1: means if you can pray with me but don't play
- 41:39Speaker 1: with me. You could repeat that for me. That will
- 41:42Speaker 1: be nice. Thanks well, Dante. Here it is right here.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Flat brother gave me a T shirt purple and gold,
- 41:51Speaker 1: and the shirt said half holy, half hood, which means
- 41:56Speaker 1: you you can pray with me, but don't play with me.
- 42:02Speaker 1: I'm half holy and I'm half hood. And the T
- 42:06Speaker 1: shirt says this, which means you can pray with me,
- 42:11Speaker 1: but don't play with me. That's the t shirt. Keep
- 42:15Speaker 1: it with one of my favorite shirts. All of this
- 42:18Speaker 1: before Good Fridays tomorrow. I'm aware it on the zoom
- 42:22Speaker 1: for you DeVante. Next. Okay, all right, last one. See
- 42:29Speaker 1: this is a young female caller who left us to
- 42:31Speaker 1: thank you message. Hello, mister Steve, my name is Rachel.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I just wanted to give you all a call and
- 42:36Speaker 1: say thank you so much for all you do. I've
- 42:39Speaker 1: been listening to you all's morning show since I was
- 42:42Speaker 1: a little girl and my parents taking me and my
- 42:44Speaker 1: brother to elementary school in the morning time, hearing you
- 42:47Speaker 1: planning in the background where we're half sleep getting ready
- 42:50Speaker 1: for the school day. But I just wanted to sing
- 42:52Speaker 1: you many blessings in love and thank you so much. Hello,
- 42:56Speaker 1: we've been on the air time in the laying falling
- 43:08Speaker 1: asleep a little girl. Well, you've been listening that long.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You've heard some stuff. You should have heard a couple
- 43:21Speaker 1: of things you probably shouldn't have heard or apologize about that,
- 43:26Speaker 1: but I didn't know you was in the car. Sorry.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Thank you to your parents for listening. We appreciate it.
- 43:34Speaker 1: She's been listening a long time, that young girl. Yes,
- 43:38Speaker 1: and keep listening, baby girl, all right. Coming up next
- 43:41Speaker 1: to it is a nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Right after this, it's Thomas Miles this week, Thank you
- 43:49Speaker 1: you're listening show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:55Speaker 1: right about four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for
- 43:58Speaker 1: today and the subject is please leave me alone in
- 44:03Speaker 1: the morning, fathering me. We'll get into that in just
- 44:09Speaker 1: a minute, because right now we got to deal with
- 44:13Speaker 1: the nephew and his prank phone call for today. Nephew,
- 44:17Speaker 1: what is it? Please? Well, you know this is leading
- 44:21Speaker 1: in the Easter. We spoke about that about an hour
- 44:23Speaker 1: ago on to run that prank back. But we're gonna
- 44:26Speaker 1: we're gonna keep to that theme, Cousin's Easter week, all right.
- 44:32Speaker 1: So um, yeah, this is Holy week, and and and
- 44:36Speaker 1: and and and and I truly believe that if we're
- 44:40Speaker 1: going to keep it as a Holy week, then we're
- 44:44Speaker 1: going to speak about some things that are going on
- 44:47Speaker 1: at the church. And this right here is queen in
- 44:50Speaker 1: the church. Man. All right, all my all minds clear,
- 44:54Speaker 1: All they're clear. To my mom, my beautiful late mother,
- 44:59Speaker 1: leave these church for along, Mama. You have to understand, Mamather,
- 45:03Speaker 1: there are things that have to be pranked about. And
- 45:06Speaker 1: this right here is weed in the church van. Now,
- 45:11Speaker 1: cat dog, if you hood, let's take it there. Let's
- 45:14Speaker 1: let's get to the weed in the van. Let's get
- 45:17Speaker 1: to the queed. Hello, I'm trying to reach Dann brother
- 45:23Speaker 1: brother Dan Dan. Hello, Hello on them, because I'm trying
- 45:29Speaker 1: to read brother Dan, brother Dan. Listen, Okay, Yeah, this
- 45:34Speaker 1: brother Scott from the church from Belt the Baptist. Hello. Brother, Yeah,
- 45:39Speaker 1: I call you. I'm trying to get a little information
- 45:42Speaker 1: about the church band. What's what's your schedule? Uh? Uh?
- 45:45Speaker 1: Will you drive the church man? And what's what's your schedule?
- 45:49Speaker 1: I'd love it. Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday,
- 45:57Speaker 1: last Sunday. What what is that schedule? Sunday? I usually
- 46:02Speaker 1: start about eight o'clock in the morning, probably a little earlier,
- 46:05Speaker 1: depending on some of the elderly people that I had
- 46:07Speaker 1: to go pick up and bring to the church. Make
- 46:10Speaker 1: sure they get there okay, and get situated and make
- 46:14Speaker 1: sure they're on time for the service and whatnot. Okay,
- 46:17Speaker 1: and then you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 46:23Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 46:25Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 46:26Speaker 1: to them or something afterwards. But I usually get about
- 46:29Speaker 1: it back home okay. Okay. Now, this class Sunday, which
- 46:35Speaker 1: is part of the reason why I'm calling me. They
- 46:39Speaker 1: saying that some of the church members that was on
- 46:43Speaker 1: the band this Sunday, they are complaining saying that um
- 46:49Speaker 1: that the church vand was spending like weed when they
- 46:52Speaker 1: got on there. Excuse me, they say the church van
- 46:57Speaker 1: was spending like weed when they got on that and
- 47:00Speaker 1: you are the person back with driving them. No, no,
- 47:04Speaker 1: no, no no, no, no no, not not not the van
- 47:05Speaker 1: that that I'm driving. So I don't No, I don't.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I ain't smoke weed, and no van, do you smoke weed? No,
- 47:15Speaker 1: I don't smoke weed. I mean not carry I mean
- 47:17Speaker 1: I have before, but I don't smoke weed now and
- 47:20Speaker 1: I wouldn't smoke weed before. Picking Some people love to
- 47:22Speaker 1: go to nose. Now where you carrying it from? Who
- 47:28Speaker 1: told you this? Well? All I knew is what what?
- 47:31Speaker 1: What's coming down the pipeline? Is? They saying that a
- 47:34Speaker 1: couple of the members came complaining that sec No, this
- 47:38Speaker 1: just happened last week about this pipeline. I want to
- 47:41Speaker 1: know who the pipeline is because just last week they
- 47:44Speaker 1: came at me talking about that I was using the
- 47:46Speaker 1: van to go places that I wanted to go to
- 47:48Speaker 1: all my personal time. Now I don't do that. I
- 47:51Speaker 1: don't do stuff like that. And now I have had
- 47:52Speaker 1: a pass, I haven't had a history, but I don't
- 47:54Speaker 1: do stuff like that, and I wouldn't smoking, no church fan,
- 47:58Speaker 1: So are you seriously talk talk? What? What? What? What?
- 48:01Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 48:03Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you. Ulderly
- 48:07Speaker 1: person said, do you know which one? I don't know?
- 48:11Speaker 1: They loved me? Every Sunday, didn't people tell me they
- 48:13Speaker 1: loved me? Uh? They say I'm one of the most
- 48:15Speaker 1: respectful young gentlemen they've ever met in their life. And
- 48:17Speaker 1: so I really find it hard to believe that you
- 48:20Speaker 1: you you getting these types of complaints about me. Okay,
- 48:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying like, oh, I don't know what that
- 48:26Speaker 1: means or nothing like that. Look, brothers, I don't know
- 48:30Speaker 1: you too well, and I know you don't know me.
- 48:31Speaker 1: But I've been driving this van as as a point
- 48:35Speaker 1: to try to change my life and where I come from.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So this was was something that I wanted to volunteer
- 48:40Speaker 1: even though I'm getting paid to give my time to
- 48:42Speaker 1: do this for the church. And now this is like
- 48:45Speaker 1: the second instance where y'all and came at me on
- 48:47Speaker 1: some stuff about like I'm trying to do something with
- 48:49Speaker 1: this van. Now why I disrespect the church van by
- 48:52Speaker 1: smoking weed in it and then letting the weeds stay
- 48:55Speaker 1: in there so other people could sell it. Okay, so
- 48:57Speaker 1: let me tell you what we're gonna do. We gonna
- 49:00Speaker 1: go out here to the church. They ain't. We're gonna
- 49:02Speaker 1: go out here today and open it up. Now, if
- 49:04Speaker 1: we see any seeds or anything around the driver's seat,
- 49:10Speaker 1: then that then then we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh point,
- 49:13Speaker 1: gonna open the van up. But I was raising that church. Man,
- 49:16Speaker 1: My mama go to that church, my grandma. See you
- 49:19Speaker 1: go to that church. See the reason we even all
- 49:21Speaker 1: left that church. And you think I'm gonna mess up?
- 49:23Speaker 1: They ain't by driving around in the bad fool of
- 49:26Speaker 1: elderly people smoking and want to do we need blood there.
- 49:31Speaker 1: I don't know how to the band smell like weed, man,
- 49:34Speaker 1: now I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 49:39Speaker 1: You have some weed and your imit it with just
- 49:41Speaker 1: sing I ain't had no weed allen. Stop trying to
- 49:45Speaker 1: say like I had weed on and you ain't gonna
- 49:47Speaker 1: get me nothing that I ain't no, and we ain't
- 49:49Speaker 1: had no weed on me. Okay, Now, you ain't gonna
- 49:51Speaker 1: mess up my name or my family's name in this
- 49:53Speaker 1: church and disrespect us like this. Now, We've been helping
- 49:56Speaker 1: this church for years, and I'm trying to tell you
- 49:59Speaker 1: that I ain't riding around no fans, smoking no weed
- 50:01Speaker 1: with no elderly people. Did you ask any of the
- 50:03Speaker 1: elderly people if they had any weed on them? No? No, no,
- 50:09Speaker 1: I didn't think about it. No elderly people having no weed.
- 50:13Speaker 1: So you just assume it's meat. What one of them?
- 50:15Speaker 1: Guy got coma or something? What? What? What you know? What?
- 50:19Speaker 1: You know? Who? I think? What? Did you know? Who
- 50:21Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged to? Oh? Oh, I think
- 50:24Speaker 1: I think the weed belonged the nephew Times from the
- 50:28Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. What man, damn, you just got preak.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Oh my god, you just got a preak. Put his name.
- 50:43Speaker 1: His name is brother, uh brother Lawrence, Lawrence Lawrence. Oh
- 50:51Speaker 1: my Larry, law Larry in trouble with me? But man,
- 51:09Speaker 1: I got one more thing that I got one more
- 51:11Speaker 1: thing to ask you. Man, what is the saddest and
- 51:14Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the land. Man
- 51:19Speaker 1: Steve R Morning Man going on, rich Man going on,

- 53:41Speaker 1: I mean thank you. Thomas Miles. That's right this week
- 53:44Speaker 1: here Thomas Miles. All right, subject, please leave me alone
- 53:49Speaker 1: in the morning. Please all right. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 53:52Speaker 1: fifty years old and I've been in an open relationship
- 53:56Speaker 1: with my man for almost twenty years. Instead of cheating
- 54:00Speaker 1: on one another. We do what we do and keep
- 54:02Speaker 1: it one hundred at all times. It works for us,
- 54:06Speaker 1: so people can judge us all they want to. I
- 54:09Speaker 1: get so tired of my man at times, and I'm
- 54:11Speaker 1: glad I can go and release my tension elsewhere. It's
- 54:14Speaker 1: not always about sex either. I have a soul tie
- 54:17Speaker 1: with another man and he's just as special as my
- 54:21Speaker 1: live in partner. I have to keep him satisfied and
- 54:24Speaker 1: nurture that relationship, and it's wearing me. Then I work
- 54:28Speaker 1: from home and my living wakes up at four thirty
- 54:30Speaker 1: in the morning to start his day. He's a morning person,
- 54:34Speaker 1: meaning he's a type to want sex when he rolls
- 54:36Speaker 1: over every morning. That used to not be a problem
- 54:40Speaker 1: until I started dealing with my other man more regularly.
- 54:43Speaker 1: He also liked sex in the morning, and when I
- 54:46Speaker 1: meet him a few days a week for breakfast, I
- 54:49Speaker 1: sometimes have to forego the sex because I've already been
- 54:52Speaker 1: thoroughly pleased for the day. It has gotten to the
- 54:55Speaker 1: point where I have to ask both of the men
- 54:57Speaker 1: if they could please leave me a loan in the morning.
- 55:01Speaker 1: It's like the older they got, the more they want
- 55:04Speaker 1: sex and I'm just the opposite. I enjoyed the connections
- 55:07Speaker 1: with them over the sex. I know my live in
- 55:10Speaker 1: has a great woman that he spends a night with sometimes,
- 55:13Speaker 1: so that takes the pressure off of me. But the
- 55:16Speaker 1: other man in my life is only having sex with
- 55:18Speaker 1: me and only me. He is hopeful that I will
- 55:22Speaker 1: come to my senses and be his wife one day soon.
- 55:26Speaker 1: But I'm cool with the arrangement. All I need is
- 55:28Speaker 1: more peaceful mornings. How do I create balance for both
- 55:32Speaker 1: relationships without sliding one of them? Please advise? Oh, okay,
- 55:37Speaker 1: this is what you're signed up for, right, I mean
- 55:41Speaker 1: an open relationship. This is what you do in open relationships.
- 55:45Speaker 1: You set out of your own mouth that this works
- 55:48Speaker 1: for you. You've been doing this for twenty years. Twenty years,
- 55:52Speaker 1: that's a very very long time. Who wouldn't be tired. Okay.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Here's the thing about life, though, it is ever changing.
- 56:00Speaker 1: You are fifty now, you are changing, You're slowing down
- 56:03Speaker 1: a little bit. Things change, Circumstances change, feelings change. The
- 56:08Speaker 1: only thing that doesn't change are the facts. And the
- 56:10Speaker 1: facts are that you are in an open relationship, and
- 56:14Speaker 1: pretty much anything and everything goes in these types of situations.
- 56:18Speaker 1: You know that, but remember you said this works for you.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Guess what, No, it doesn't not anymore. I mean, you
- 56:27Speaker 1: can't keep up with talk. Surely, you can't keep up
- 56:29Speaker 1: with this unrealistic pace you have changed. I told you
- 56:34Speaker 1: that it's way too much for you now. And because
- 56:36Speaker 1: you're you're in an open relationship, that quote works for you.
- 56:41Speaker 1: You said it. You're allowing, you're allowed to bring other
- 56:44Speaker 1: people in. So you're sleeping with another man now who's
- 56:47Speaker 1: wearing you out? You're getting worn out. You said they
- 56:51Speaker 1: just won't leave you alone in the morning. So for
- 56:53Speaker 1: all we know, you guys are like doing it right now.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I mean, this is a morning show. I don't even
- 56:58Speaker 1: want to think about that. But really it's always going
- 57:03Speaker 1: on in the morning, so you know, but you know,
- 57:06Speaker 1: but you said it works for you. I say, stop
- 57:09Speaker 1: all of this. You can do that. It's time for
- 57:10Speaker 1: a change. How much longer are you gonna put yourself
- 57:13Speaker 1: through this? Surely not another twenty years. I'd say it's
- 57:17Speaker 1: time for you to close this open relationship. Steve, you're
- 57:22Speaker 1: better talk, Shelly. Now. You told some truth today. Man,
- 57:27Speaker 1: I wish I had thought of that line. You came, oh,
- 57:30Speaker 1: you better tell the truth. You're saying it worked for you.
- 57:33Speaker 1: No it ain't. No, it ain't. This ain't working for you.
- 57:38Speaker 1: The whole damn letter, stupid. Let me opened by just
- 57:41Speaker 1: saying this, I don't care about the letter, I don't
- 57:45Speaker 1: care about you, and I don't care about none of
- 57:48Speaker 1: this foolishness. This ain't this is working. This ain't working
- 57:52Speaker 1: for nobody but them. Stupid foolishness, your old ass. Let
- 57:58Speaker 1: me tell you something ficked. It's old for this foolishness. Hell,
- 58:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that right now. You're pulling this
- 58:06Speaker 1: at fifty and been doing it for twenty years. It's old.
- 58:12Speaker 1: You old, and it then't got old. That's a that's
- 58:15Speaker 1: an age limit for all this ignorant mess you doing
- 58:19Speaker 1: so stupid behind. I can't stand people like this, and
- 58:22Speaker 1: they're gonna right in on the national show like we
- 58:25Speaker 1: got some help for you. We ain't doing this. We'll
- 58:29Speaker 1: know what to tell you. Everybody in no damn open relationship.
- 58:33Speaker 1: You're in a situation there ain't no relationship. Relationships is
- 58:38Speaker 1: when you have relations with people and you can relate
- 58:41Speaker 1: to them. You're relating to everybody, you stupid behind. You
- 58:45Speaker 1: set up in here, and you know you got this
- 58:47Speaker 1: man that y'all stay with and you get tired of
- 58:49Speaker 1: him sometime. Okay, there you go. I thought it was
- 58:51Speaker 1: working for you, and I can go and release my
- 58:53Speaker 1: at tension elsewhere else? Noel now, and it ain't always
- 58:57Speaker 1: about sexual What are your that releasing? Huh? When you
- 59:01Speaker 1: go to release your tension and it ain't about sex,
- 59:04Speaker 1: tell me what it is. But y'all over the playing dominoes?
- 59:07Speaker 1: What now? I'll tell you what's wrong? And then you say,
- 59:12Speaker 1: I have a soul tie with another man and he's
- 59:15Speaker 1: just as special as my living in partner. What soul tied?
- 59:19Speaker 1: Y'all having sex? M This ain't no soul tie. It's
- 59:24Speaker 1: the same thing you got as you live in all
- 59:28Speaker 1: y'all seeing who y'all want to see. And now you tied?
- 59:32Speaker 1: You know why? Calls you old? You old? And whoa
- 59:37Speaker 1: outa your old tail? I need to say that it
- 59:43Speaker 1: ain't even fresh tail no more. You just whoa out
- 59:47Speaker 1: old ragging tail of your response coming up? Steve at
- 59:51Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, Today's Strawberry Letters subject

- 1:00:46Speaker 1: this foolishness. We don't know how to help you through
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: this here. We ain't in no relationship like that. I'm
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: in a real relationship. My relationship closed off. Seal got
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: nails in the coffin mortar up at the door. It's
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: a tight can't get nothing else in in here. You're
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: sitting up in here being twenty years with the same man.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: Y'all do what y'all want to do. He got somebody
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and then you sometimes your man, get on your nerves
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and you know you're gonna talk about so people can
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: judge us all they want. What, Okay, where here comes
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: some more judging because he wrote in now here comes
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: some mo damn judge. I get so tired of my
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: man at times. Well, okay, so I got glad I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: can go somewhere and release my tension. So you want
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to go somewhere in heir sex? That's what this is.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: It's not always about sex, yes, it is. What else
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: is you doing over that released tension? Where's you going
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: over that washed dishes? What? What did you out there
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: taking out of the garbage? How you releasing? Where you're washing?
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: This car? Forward? You just a lie car? You over
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: there having sex with this man and then sitting there
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: here till I have a soul tied with another man,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: and he's just as special as my then partner. Now
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: lord him, mercy lady making up your rabbit ass man.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: You gotta live in partner and a soul tie with
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: a man that's just as special as your live in partner,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: And then you come sitting up in here. I gotta
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: keep him satisfied and nurture that relationship. And it's wearing
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: me thin. No, they ain't thin out. Then wore your
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: ass out. You ain't rector being no more. Can't keep
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: this up, you fit it. I work from home and
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: my live in wakes up at four thirty in the morning,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: start his day here morning person, and he gotta have
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: a type of sex to won't when he rolled over
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: every morning, okay, And then that used to not be
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: a problem. Then you started dealing with your other man
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: on a regular and he liked sex two in the morning.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: And when I meet him a few days a week
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: for breakfast, I sometimes have to foe go to sex
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: because he already been thoroughly pleased for the day. What what? What? What?
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: So everywhere you go somebody trying to do you. You
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: hain't no damn well without somebody trying to do you. Man,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: that's a lot of damn pressure right there. If everywhere
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you go you walk up somebody did you? You're gonna
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: meet the other one for breakfast he wanted to do you.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Then you get back home and lowing me hold here
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: his ass is again for twenty years, twenty years, it
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: is the one hall old ass out. It's gotten to
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the point where I've had to ask both of my
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: men if they could please leave me alone in the morning.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Why don't you leave them alone? You're stupid. It ain't them.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: They mess it with you because they like using you,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: because that's what you are. You're the dumpster. You got
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: two men dumping on you, and more than that because
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you've been doing it for twenty years. This just another one,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: this one you're telling us about. So you've been you've
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: been a girl. Please come on out, let me finish
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you off. I know my living has a great woman
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: that he spends the night with sometimes and that takes
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: the pressure of what they're open, so that he got
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: a great woman that he spends time and he's spend
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a night over here. But the other man in my
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: life is only having sex with me and only me.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You stupid man, you think let me ask you something.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: You think he know you live with this man and
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: know you having sex with him, and you having sex
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: with him. But sometime at breakfast you have to foe
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: go to sex and you're telling me, Steve Harvey that
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: this man is just having sex with you and only you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: You dumb, just like the rest of this damn letter.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Is you dumb? Just like the rest of this damn letter.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: You one stupid woman. If you think this man is
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: just having sex with you are you've lost your mind?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: And you said he has a high sex drive. You
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: coming over from breakfast and YouTube time because you got
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: whole out girl? Bye o man, he is hopeful that
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I will come to my senses and be his wife
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: one day soon. Oh that's what he told you. Wait wait, wait,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: that's what he told you. Hold lady, Yeah, you think
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: that this man wants you to come to your senses
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and be his wife's girl. No, that's what he said.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: We have no advice for you. Peltier came on doing
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: what you're doing until you wattering. Let me tell you
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: when I come back, I'm gonna tell you one other
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: thing about this relationship. I just I just want to
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: say one thing then you bring okay. Post your comments
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: and coming up at forty six minutes after the hour,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Sports talk with Junior. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning shout All right, Junior, before we get to
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: your sports Steve, you wanted to add one more thing
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to the Strawberry letter. Please, Yeah, I want to ask
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: something to this. You know this woman that rode in
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: on this Strawberry letter, that's got these two men she's
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: been dating, and now she's been in a twenty year
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: open relationship and now ball her me and like to
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: have sex in the morning. So now they the whole
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: hall out. Now she talked about she needs some advice.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: You fifty, you're too damn old for this. Nobody want
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: that old you know, wore that old raggedy tail out.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Now you should have been trying to figure out how
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to conservative. And I'm gonna tell you something else. A
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: little boy, I had a raggedy tail. One time I
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: had two raccoon tails on my bike. They were stuck
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: in my handleballs, and when I drove down the street,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: the raccoon tails flew in the wind. Yeah, I remember
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: one time I got that raccoon tail caught in a
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: card though somehow, and I kept trying to pull it
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: out out the dough. I was just tanning the hard,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: tanning the half for that tail. I was just wearing
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: that tail out And then it started raining outside. By
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: the time I got that old ragged ass tail out
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: that card dough. It had half to fur on it
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: as the other one, and I had rained on it,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and then a little bit of hair got matic down.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: So the moral of the story is I pull up
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: at the house with my bike, my mama on the
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: back porch and look down at me and say, Stevie,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: when you get that little ragged detail from now you
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: probably says, see what they gotta do with this story? Well,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: it's fitted you, old woman, and got caught in the
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: card dough and snatched all the half hortail. Then walter
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: out didn't have got rained on. And now little Stephen
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: looking at her trying to figure out where you want
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: us to tell you about that little ragged detail you
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: got you exhausted, woe yourself out? Whoa And I don't know,
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Thank God for that analogy for me riding my bike
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: with that one little raggedy tail on the amazing hot
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: tail tail get raggedy. Don't let your tail get raggedy.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Don't let your tail get caught in the card though, Yeah, girl,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: don't let your tail get rained though. Yeah, like a
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: good raggedy tail story, oh man man. And the last
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: thing you want to do is put a raggedy tail
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: hanging out your hand a box. It didn't look nothing
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: like the other tail lord raggedy. What a beautiful moment, Julia,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I'm sorry about card. I'm sorry. I love it. Man
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the Masters this weekend, let's go back. But it was
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: kind of it was a little sport too, because I
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: was talking about bike riding. That was sports for the
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: day that I was cycling. Now, yeah, then you're gonna
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: tell me cycling. Thank you that raggedy tale. Hang gosh, man,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the years Old. We'll
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the same Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: All right. So Steve Andrea on Facebook writes, my husband
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: and I are about to have our first child. I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: actually like his mother, but she could be a little
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: overbearing sometimes. So before the baby arrives, I want to
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: set some ground rules about when she can come over.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I can't let her think that we're making rules just
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: to keep her away, so it has to seem like
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: their rules for everyone. I also need to make it
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: clear to her that we're going to raise our child
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: how we see fit. Now, how she wants us to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: How can I delicately navigate this situation without upsetting my
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: mother in law? What lady, let me tell yourself. Please,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: you're gonna need that woman stupid. Yeah, girl, this your
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: first child right here. You're gonna need that little nag
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and woman. Don't worry about that. He has some information
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: that you there's no way you can have. Don't don't
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: blow this. You are pregnant right now. I know she
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: on your nerves because you're pregnant right now. A lot
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: of things bothering you. It's probably hot in the in
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: the in the middle of February for you, But listen
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: to me, don't mess this shot up. You've been to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: have a baby. You're gonna need that woman right there.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: She coming over all the time. That's gonna get your
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: chance to take a nap. She coming over all the time.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: You're gonna be able to ask us some questions. That
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: baby gonna catch colic one time. You're gonna need somebody
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to know what this is. I am telling you. I
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: know she get on your nerves. You talk, We're gonna
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: raise the baby where we want to. You're gonna want
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: somebody come and get this baby for just a minute,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: and the chances all that's gonna be heard, let that go.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I've been told as a grandparent, we're not raising our
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: child like that. We're fine, we'll take his ass home then.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: But if you over him he boughtcue when he over here,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I don't give a damn where he'd be a vegan
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: wherever you want him be a vegan at. But if
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: he's standing next to me, BJ asses even Boughtecue. Now,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. I think the
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: child needed to be ain't old enough to make decisions
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: on his own. So you know I'm leaving Celery and
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: all that salary. Every time I'm with BJ he won't
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: want to. I remember when I gave him his first slim,
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Jim when he was about too and the look on
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: that boy's face was it was price. I shouldn't get Tommy,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: ain't get two? Who gave him a slim? He got
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: a Tommy. Ain't he got sick? Didn't he? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: he came back over that one or another. I gave
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: him another, And then the little last timmer got used
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: to it. After while, he was knocking them down pretty regless.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: What nothing wrong with it? Donna? Let your children, build
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: up immunity, and now stop raising the little park ass
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: key ass. And he's meeting old heating your true it
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: all on old call and broccoli keen walk. You're just
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: asking me you're the hay I'm saving for this boy.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: But I learned all this from my daddy. Break man.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: That's no, you're gonna need them. Grandparents lead them, grandparents off.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Grandparents are smart. Grandparents got information, and grandparents got in help. Yeah,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: they got most of all experience. Yes, yes, yeah, And
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: every woman that they ever had a baby says he's right.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: And yeah, boy, you're gonna be sitting there hold that
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: baby something that you don't want know what to do?
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Why she wants man. Carley came over to the house
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: with BJ one day and just broke out cry, yes, dad,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: it is just a lot. So we get him here
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: for a minute. And so when she handed to me
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: all margins, bay bay, don't get some simp gems, he
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: crying the paper cry brazen barbecue in him. If I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: can't make it all better, I ain't never seen nothing barbecue.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I don't worry about that. Then let's stay right here.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: You left that grandmama this morning. I don't care about
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: no damn vegans getting mad at me. I just came
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: off of vegan journey. I felt good, but it wasn't
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: nothing delicious. I'm trying to fix it all that stuff.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I'm damn lima beans cab. Where is the meat? And
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: all y'all vegans has listened, keep on being I tell

- 1:19:39Speaker 1: on Lefttime on Lifetime. The movie is called Pride Ye
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: seven Deadly scenes. Can't wait Pride. Hey, y'all, here's my
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: clothes remarks today. I want to say something to all
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: my listeners today. You know, and you may not share
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: this opinion. I understand we have a lot of people
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: who have different opinions, and you're welcome to that, as
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you should. But this is Steve Harvey Morning Show, so
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I have mine this whole episode of indicting Donald Trump.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: It is amazing what our country has come down to.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: And like I was saying about the election last time.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Their number one concern. Politicians number one concern is position,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: power and money, and they will let nothing come in
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: front of their position, their power, and their money. They
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: don't care that you're a liar. They don't care if
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you're morally corrupt. They don't care if you commit fraud.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: They don't care if you got hookers on the side.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: They don't care if you screw pown stars. They don't
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: care if you pay hush money. They don't care if
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: you don't pay taxes. They don't care if you don't
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: cheat your wife right. They don't care if you have
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: crazy practices as a landlord. They don't even care if
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: you don't care about them, Because if you think that
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Donald Trump cares anything about you, you are sadly mistaken.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Every single move his mate, he makes is for the
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: benefit of him. He goes and gives speeches to benefit him.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: He goes and makes false claims to benefit him. He
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: sends people down to the Capitol to climb the wall
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: to benefit him. Promise to pay their legal fees if
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: something happened, all them people sitting in jail to he
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: ain't paid nobody legal fees. He don't care nothing about that.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Here his old accountant sitting in jail. This old man
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: is in Rikers right now, this old man because he
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: was doing what Trump told him to do. Michael Cohen
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: went to prison because he did what this man told
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: him to do. And he still got seventy million supporters
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and a lot of them are waiting for him to
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: run again. You know why, because all of him is
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: just like him. I want to thank Donald Trump for
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: exposing the country the way he has. Or we're in
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: trouble now, or make no mistake about it, we are
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: in full blown trouble. If you don't think America's in trouble,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you're sadly mistaken because they have given up any principle
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: of morality and righteousness. People don't want to fool without
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: dollar no more. We are doing some stuff that's happening man,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: in foreign policy that we don't get to see a
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: vote on as the constituents out here. But let me
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: tell you something, man, you think putting Donald Trump in
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: back in office. Let me ask y'all something that keep
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: voting for this man. Do you look at your children
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and say that's who were proud to call the president
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: of our country? Because it's supposed to be your country.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: But then you know what. You ain't really got no
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: problem with that, do you? Because this country was stolen.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: You do remember that, don't you. Now you can hide
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: it in the history books if you want to. This
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: country was stolen. This country was built by black people.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: You can take us out your history books in Florida
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: and try that if you want to, so you can
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: erase the fact of who we are. But we built
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: this thing. Man, You are still benefiting off the backs
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: of slavery, for the large corporations that was built. Anything
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: to do with fabric and anything to do with tobacco
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and alcohol was built on the belts on the backs
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: of black people, and your family still benefiting from it.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: We know this, and you know why I so care
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: with you because you're ok with all of that. You are,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: and you gotta be honest with yourself. As a Trump supporter,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you're saying you're okay with all of that. You're okay
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: with all these people getting killed in these schools, churches, malls,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: houses of worship, movie theaters. You're okay with all of it.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: You know why, because you're not gonna vote no. Differently
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: because you accept the money from the n r A.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: You're not gonna vote any differently because he had said
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: a couple of things you happen to agree with. Oh,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you agree with abortion and you agree with immigration, so
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you go on the right. And then he jammed all
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: that other stuff down your throat since you over here
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: on the right and you just drinking that, what's gonna
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: happen when they kill one of your children? What's gonna
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: happen when somebody killed one of their children. All it's
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: gonna be some laws getting ridden in, man. Y'all got
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: to stop going along with this mess right here. This
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: country is sick. America is sick because we're going along
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: with too much man. And this guy about to run again.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: And you know why because he got enough people that
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: are put him right back in there. And you know why,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: for position, power and money. They don't give a damn
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: about us. Y'all, keep on, man, get connected to God,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: because you're gonna need him more than next time. Trust me,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: because you put that man in there this time, he's
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: gonna show something. He's gonna for all Steve Every contests
