- 0:00Speaker 1: I think the most important thing is to continue the
- 0:03Speaker 1: systematic destruction of the Iranian war making capabilities. So it'll
- 0:08Speaker 1: continue them for some period of time. But I think
- 0:10Speaker 1: we've got to stay the course here and now that
- 0:12Speaker 1: we are engaging this and is he gonna achieve ours?
- 0:16Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

- 0:38Speaker 3: of what he outlined, and that is making so many
- 0:42Speaker 3: people very happy this morning. So what does a wind
- 0:46Speaker 3: down look like? What does this mean for the strain

- 2:26Speaker 3: the switch today. It's the forty seven Morning Update, and
- 2:30Speaker 3: it starts right now.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Over the last thirty days, the United States and Israel
- 2:36Speaker 3: have carried out more than eleven thousand strikes against Iran
- 2:39Speaker 3: military infrastructure. We're now learning from the White House translation,
- 2:44Speaker 3: this mission the President is doing is working. The strikes
- 2:48Speaker 3: have been against Iran's military infrastructure that include missile systems,
- 2:54Speaker 3: naval assets, weapons depots, and systemically dismantling the regimes a
- 2:59Speaker 3: bill to threaten the region and more importantly, threaten US.
- 3:03Speaker 3: The US and now President Trump is signaling very clearly
- 3:08Speaker 3: that this war is nearing its end. He said this directly,
- 3:13Speaker 3: this won't last much longer. Why because Iran has been,
- 3:17Speaker 3: in his words, significantly debilitated. Their military capability has been crippled,
- 3:24Speaker 3: their ability to launch sustained attacks has been severely reduced,
- 3:28Speaker 3: their leverage gone. And now because of the overwhelming show
- 3:32Speaker 3: of force, something else is happening behind the scenes that
- 3:36Speaker 3: matters just as much as the bombs and the strikes.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Iran is really feeling the pressure. The White House is
- 3:43Speaker 3: now saying negotiations are progressing quickly. That is something that
- 3:48Speaker 3: the White House has said that the media can't believe,
- 3:51Speaker 3: and Democrats don't want you to believe because they want
- 3:55Speaker 3: this to be a quagmire. They want this to be
- 3:57Speaker 3: a never ending war. They want to use it to
- 4:00Speaker 3: hurt President Donald Trump. Now, after weeks of decisive military action,
- 4:05Speaker 3: the regime, the chance death to America is now signaling
- 4:09Speaker 3: they may be willing to come to the table. That
- 4:11Speaker 3: doesn't happen, by the way, by accident, and it doesn't
- 4:14Speaker 3: happen by weakness from President Trump either. This happens because
- 4:18Speaker 3: Donald Trump made it clear the United States while he's
- 4:21Speaker 3: in charge, leads through strength, not through appeasement or sending
- 4:25Speaker 3: pallets of cash like the Obama administration did. And President
- 4:30Speaker 3: Trump is also making it clear there is a deadline.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Iran now has until early April to comply, and if
- 4:38Speaker 3: they don't, the presidents also made it very clear what
- 4:41Speaker 3: comes next will be even more devastating. Now, let's talk
- 4:45Speaker 3: about the strategy a little bit more, because this is
- 4:48Speaker 3: where this administration is drawing a very sharp contrast to
- 4:51Speaker 3: the past. Number One, they've said they are not in
- 4:54Speaker 3: favor of an endless war. And number two, the Trump
- 4:58Speaker 3: administration has made it clear this is not nation building,
- 5:02Speaker 3: this is decisive action, the White House says, with a
- 5:04Speaker 3: clear objective to eliminate the threat, force a resolution, and
- 5:09Speaker 3: then get the hell out. In fact, President Trump is
- 5:12Speaker 3: already saying that once the job is done, the US
- 5:15Speaker 3: can step back, and even the straight of Hormuz, one
- 5:18Speaker 3: of the most critical shipping lanes in the world, will
- 5:20Speaker 3: stabilize once Iran backs down. That's called understanding leverage, and
- 5:25Speaker 3: that's called understanding power as well. Now let's also not
- 5:29Speaker 3: forget this. Israel is fully aligned with a strategy. They
- 5:33Speaker 3: see this moment for what it is a historic opportunity
- 5:37Speaker 3: to eliminate what they've called next essential threat to them,
- 5:40Speaker 3: and together the US and Israel now have total air superiority,
- 5:45Speaker 3: and Iran's ability to project power is collapsing in real time.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Even Israel is starting to put timelines on their own action,
- 5:54Speaker 3: saying they believe that they have about two more weeks
- 5:56Speaker 3: of strikes and then they will probably end up wrapping
- 6:01Speaker 3: things up. Israel even said in another statement today they
- 6:05Speaker 3: are prepared for strikes for several weeks to come, but
- 6:09Speaker 3: they understand that the window is also closing, and this
- 6:12Speaker 3: was not about actual invasion. Israeli's military spokesman saying on
- 6:17Speaker 3: Tuesday that Israel is prepared to keep operating for several
- 6:21Speaker 3: weeks to come. The Prime Minister hinted that the war
- 6:24Speaker 3: against Iran was definitely beyond the halfway point, as it
- 6:28Speaker 3: has now entered its fifth week. We are prepared to
- 6:31Speaker 3: keep operating for weeks to come if need be. We
- 6:34Speaker 3: have the targets for that, the munitions for that, demand
- 6:36Speaker 3: power for that, and it's up to the leadership to decide,
- 6:40Speaker 3: is what was said from Israeli's government. The Israeli Defense
- 6:44Speaker 3: Force said on Tuesday that all of it's critical and
- 6:47Speaker 3: essential targets in Iran will have been destroyed by Passover,
- 6:51Speaker 3: which begins on Wednesday. The IDF to find critical targets
- 6:56Speaker 3: as Iranian weapons that directly threaten Israel, including key elements
- 7:01Speaker 3: of its nuclear program, while essential quote unquote targets are
- 7:05Speaker 3: key elements of the Iranian military industrial complex that do
- 7:10Speaker 3: not pose an imminent threat by themselves, such as satellite
- 7:13Speaker 3: launch facilities. So you add all this together, and critical
- 7:18Speaker 3: and essential targets make up about thirty to forty percent
- 7:21Speaker 3: of the bombing objectives set by Israeli leadership before the
- 7:25Speaker 3: operation began. The IDF said it would be possible to
- 7:30Speaker 3: declare victory after eliminating the remaining critical and essential targets,
- 7:34Speaker 3: but it would prefer to continue degrading Iran's military industrial
- 7:38Speaker 3: complex to weaken the regime. This goal seems consistent with
- 7:43Speaker 3: Israel's hint that a few more weeks of airstrikes are
- 7:46Speaker 3: obviously being planned. Israeli warplaying struck major Iranian weapons factories
- 7:52Speaker 3: in Tehran over the weekend, including plants that manufacture key
- 7:56Speaker 3: ballistic missile components and drone engines. As well. The IDF
- 8:01Speaker 3: said it was also able to destroy several of Iran's
- 8:05Speaker 3: temporary command centers, eliminating high ranking officers who were inside,
- 8:10Speaker 3: as well as some of Iran's remaining anti air weaponry.
- 8:14Speaker 3: On Friday, the IDF set a massive attack involving over
- 8:17Speaker 3: fifty warplanes, inflicted severe damage on their heavy water reactor
- 8:22Speaker 3: and an uranium enrichment facility that produced yellow cake uranium
- 8:26Speaker 3: powder for nuclear fuel. Netnyahu even set on Newsmax on
- 8:31Speaker 3: Monday that the operation in Iran is beyond the halfway
- 8:35Speaker 3: point in terms of mission success, although he did not
- 8:38Speaker 3: say or wished to put a schedule on the remainder
- 8:42Speaker 3: of the war. We've already degraded their missile capabilities, destroyed factories,
- 8:46Speaker 3: and eliminated key nuclear scientists, he noted, praising the steady
- 8:50Speaker 3: progress of the mission so far.
- 8:54Speaker 4: We're into this war just over a month now. You're
- 8:57Speaker 4: the war Prime Minister, and I think i'd like to
- 9:02Speaker 4: understand what you feel you've achieved Israel and the United
- 9:05Speaker 4: States working together so far in this war. And when
- 9:09Speaker 4: do you think we might see light at the end
- 9:12Speaker 4: of the tunnel mission accomplished.
- 9:15Speaker 5: Look, if you remember what happened before the war, Iran
- 9:17Speaker 5: was the great bully of the Middle East and the world.
- 9:19Speaker 5: It was the prime sponsor of state terrorism across many continents,
- 9:26Speaker 5: including in the Western Hemisphere, including by the way, with
- 9:29Speaker 5: Venezuela and with others. And they killed and named more
- 9:34Speaker 5: Americans than any other force in recent decades. Thousands and
- 9:37Speaker 5: thousands killed and maimed in Afghanistan by Iranian IED's. They
- 9:42Speaker 5: bombed your embassies. They tried to kill President Trump twice,
- 9:45Speaker 5: and so trying to kill them. Most importantly is they
- 9:49Speaker 5: chant death to America. They also say death to Israel,
- 9:53Speaker 5: but they say America is the great Satan. They're religious zealots,
- 9:58Speaker 5: and they have to wipe out Western culture led by America,
- 10:02Speaker 5: and Israel is considered the little Satan because we're just
- 10:05Speaker 5: standing in their way of conquering the Middle East, which
- 10:08Speaker 5: is their preliminary step of getting to America and hitting America.
- 10:13Speaker 5: So this is a regime that has been targeting America
- 10:16Speaker 5: for forty seven years. It's their rezone detroits, the reason
- 10:21Speaker 5: for being. They're completely you know, ideological fanatics who are
- 10:26Speaker 5: not necessarily responsive to the careful calculation of costs and benefit,
- 10:31Speaker 5: so they do things that other countries don't do. You
- 10:33Speaker 5: have countries that are adversarial to you, but I don't
- 10:37Speaker 5: hear North Korea chanting death to America. I don't hear
- 10:41Speaker 5: China chanting both Korea. I don't hear Russia. You know,
- 10:44Speaker 5: these are all countries which you have which are adversarial
- 10:47Speaker 5: to you, but they're not seized by this fanaticism. But
- 10:51Speaker 5: Iran is. So. Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons and
- 10:54Speaker 5: the means to deliver them to every American city. And
- 10:57Speaker 5: this is what this is about, preventing them from having
- 11:00Speaker 5: this intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear weapons to tip them,
- 11:07Speaker 5: which could threaten the life of every America. That's why
- 11:10Speaker 5: President Trump chose to act to prevent them from doing this.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Now, you can obviously hear there from Bennette Yahoo that
- 11:17Speaker 3: he understands he has a mission that he's trying to accomplish.
- 11:20Speaker 3: That mission is a little bit different than the US's mission.
- 11:23Speaker 3: It may take a little bit longer for him to
- 11:25Speaker 3: be able to do what he needs to do to
- 11:26Speaker 3: protect his people, and clearly the President understands that. What's
- 11:30Speaker 3: also interesting is what we said earlier today on Fox
- 11:33Speaker 3: News Channel. Take a listen to Brian Mask. He's the
- 11:36Speaker 3: Republican from Florida, the House Foreign Affairs Chairman, and this
- 11:40Speaker 3: is what he had to say about what's happening not
- 11:42Speaker 3: only on Wall Street, but also the price of crude
- 11:45Speaker 3: oil and the Strait of Hormuz, as well as Donald
- 11:47Speaker 3: Trump's outline for what he's trying to do.
- 11:50Speaker 6: So let's bring in now our House Foreign Afairs Committee Chairman,
- 11:53Speaker 6: Florida Republican Brian Mass. Welcome to you, sir. First, I
- 11:56Speaker 6: want to ask you about the breaking news that seems
- 11:58Speaker 6: to be sending markets much much higher at this moment.
- 12:02Speaker 6: The Dow up nine and twenty points. It's a big
- 12:05Speaker 6: turnaround for where it was earlier today, and it seems
- 12:07Speaker 6: to be hinging on this report to reports, one from
- 12:11Speaker 6: the Wall Street Journal, one from the New York Post. First,
- 12:13Speaker 6: the Wall Street Journal reporting that President Trump is telling
- 12:16Speaker 6: AIDS reportedly that he's willing to end the war without
- 12:20Speaker 6: fully reopening the Strait of Horror Mooz. The concern, apparently
- 12:24Speaker 6: from the President is that this would push the Epic
- 12:28Speaker 6: Fury operation past its six week deadline. I'm going to
- 12:31Speaker 6: get your thoughts in your reaction first to that.
- 12:34Speaker 7: A couple of reactions. Just Number one, the President had
- 12:36Speaker 7: outlined a goal from the beginning. He's trying to stay
- 12:38Speaker 7: within the parameters of what he outlined. Number Two, you have,
- 12:41Speaker 7: of course golf partners in the golf partners in the
- 12:44Speaker 7: region that are unwilling to see the Straits of Horror
- 12:47Speaker 7: Mouz be this toll road for around where they can
- 12:50Speaker 7: simply charge for anything that goes in or out of there.
- 12:53Speaker 7: They're not going to allow that to take place. And
- 12:55Speaker 7: so there's conversations, debate everything going on with that as well.
- 12:58Speaker 7: And if the United States accomplished is its mission of
- 13:01Speaker 7: destroying every single piece of Iranian military hardware, the drones,
- 13:04Speaker 7: the Navy, the Air Force, the ballistic missiles, everything that
- 13:07Speaker 7: can reach out and touch us, as has been our goal.
- 13:10Speaker 7: Then we've essentially controlled the straits and the way that
- 13:12Speaker 7: we decided from the onset that we wanted to control this.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It is very clear that Wall Street and also the
- 13:18Speaker 3: rest of the world is reacting to President Donald Trump
- 13:21Speaker 3: making it very clear he does not believe this war
- 13:24Speaker 3: is going to last that much longer. He also believes
- 13:27Speaker 3: that we are accomplishing our mission, and that is about
- 13:31Speaker 3: safety and security. We'll see what happens in the days ahead,
- 13:35Speaker 3: and we'll cover it all for you.
