- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn you probably got to turn mouth turn out a
- 1:47Speaker 5: wad of the mony upo.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Me come.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:09Speaker 7: radio show. Yeah I do, man, God is good. Hey today,
- 2:14Speaker 7: I just want to get right to it because this
- 2:16Speaker 7: has really been pressing me. I woke up and this
- 2:20Speaker 7: was on my mind, and I wanted to share it
- 2:22Speaker 7: with you because I know this for a fact. See
- 2:27Speaker 7: I've lived this for a fact, and you know the
- 2:32Speaker 7: majority of things I talk about in the morning before
- 2:37Speaker 7: we get started with the regular show. It's something that
- 2:40Speaker 7: I've experienced. I can only tell you what I know.
- 2:43Speaker 7: And so I've really really understood why God has had
- 2:48Speaker 7: my life go the way that is gone. Because if
- 2:52Speaker 7: I didn't have all these tests in my life, I
- 2:54Speaker 7: didn't have all these tests that I passed, all these
- 2:58Speaker 7: tests that I failed. If I didn't have all of those,
- 3:04Speaker 7: the good and the bad, What could I share with
- 3:08Speaker 7: you in the morning? What could I tell you about hanging?
- 3:14Speaker 7: What could I tell you about failing and then winning?
- 3:17Speaker 7: What could I tell you about hanging in now when
- 3:21Speaker 7: all hope was gone? How could I share that with you?
- 3:25Speaker 7: Unless I've had those moments myself. I don't care what
- 3:30Speaker 7: happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 3:36Speaker 7: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. Don't
- 3:43Speaker 7: you dare dare ever give up? It is the biggest
- 3:49Speaker 7: trick that the enemy has. It's making us think we
- 3:55Speaker 7: ain't gonna make it, to water down the illusion that
- 4:01Speaker 7: there is a possibility that you might still have a
- 4:06Speaker 7: chance to get over.
- 4:08Speaker 2: The biggest trick he uses is when you make a
- 4:11Speaker 2: mistake and you fall.
- 4:13Speaker 7: He gets you to start to thinking it's final, that
- 4:17Speaker 7: there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is
- 4:20Speaker 7: no recovery. He just makes you think it's final. He
- 4:25Speaker 7: is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:31Speaker 7: I don't care what besets you, befalls you, trips you up,
- 4:36Speaker 7: What circumstantial situations may arise, don't you dare dare ever
- 4:41Speaker 7: give up? Because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:46Speaker 7: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:51Speaker 7: the test or it appears that you failed the test,
- 4:55Speaker 7: the test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it.
- 5:01Speaker 7: If you pass the test, Let's say you're going through
- 5:04Speaker 7: a situation and you get over and it goes the
- 5:07Speaker 7: way you want it to do, then what you've learned
- 5:10Speaker 7: is if you hang in there, there's a light at
- 5:15Speaker 7: the end of the tunnel.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:19Speaker 7: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 7: way you want it, and it goes the opposite and
- 5:27Speaker 7: it turns out into a negative result, and the response
- 5:30Speaker 7: you were looking for is a no, that's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 2: That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't mean it's time
- 5:40Speaker 2: to turn back.
- 5:41Speaker 7: It simply means that now you have learned a valuable experience,
- 5:48Speaker 7: you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You now know what not to do.
- 5:55Speaker 7: You are now because you know what not to do,
- 5:59Speaker 7: another step closer to getting it right. Listen to me.
- 6:05Speaker 7: It has to happen this way. You have to have
- 6:09Speaker 7: the rain in your life to get the flowers in
- 6:12Speaker 7: your life. You got to have the darkness in your
- 6:16Speaker 7: life to appreciate the sunshine in your life. You got
- 6:22Speaker 7: to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys. It
- 6:27Speaker 7: is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:33Speaker 7: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:37Speaker 7: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:42Speaker 7: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:46Speaker 7: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:49Speaker 7: you not be able, well, not only will you be
- 6:51Speaker 7: able to find a person like that, You can find
- 6:56Speaker 7: a person that's far better than that if you don't
- 7:00Speaker 7: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:04Speaker 7: the bad ones to get to the good ones. Don't you, dare?
- 7:08Speaker 7: Dare ever give up? I don't care what happens to
- 7:12Speaker 7: you if you lose a loved one. And Lord knows,
- 7:15Speaker 7: I've lost some people I've loved dearly with every inch
- 7:21Speaker 7: in me. I've lost my mother, my father, my brother,
- 7:27Speaker 7: and my best friend.
- 7:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:30Speaker 7: I know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man,
- 7:35Speaker 7: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 7:40Speaker 2: What you giving up for?
- 7:42Speaker 6: Oh?
- 7:43Speaker 7: I got you miss them, and I got you grieving
- 7:46Speaker 7: but I got news for you. Don't you let the
- 7:48Speaker 7: devil make you think it's over for you because somebody else.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Ain't still here. It was their time. Now.
- 7:55Speaker 7: I'm not trying to lessen the blow for you, but
- 7:57Speaker 7: I'm trying to get you up on your feet so
- 8:00Speaker 7: you can stop all this old woe is me because
- 8:02Speaker 7: the things that's happening to you, You're not the first
- 8:04Speaker 7: person that's happened to Come on, now, let's get a grip.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Let's wrap your mind around this thing. You have got
- 8:11Speaker 7: to move forward, if it's just in memory of those people.
- 8:15Speaker 7: I was on one of the commercial breaks the other
- 8:17Speaker 7: day and somebody asked me something, and I forgot the question,
- 8:21Speaker 7: but my answer was, I've always wanted my mother and
- 8:24Speaker 7: father to be proud of me, and in their absence
- 8:28Speaker 7: and their demise, I'm hoping just somehow man that they
- 8:33Speaker 7: watching me, that they see they boy, that I'm down here,
- 8:37Speaker 7: that I'm doing better, that I'm making something out myself,
- 8:42Speaker 7: that I'm loving my wife, that I'm taking care of
- 8:44Speaker 7: my kids. Just want my old man to see that
- 8:47Speaker 7: about me. You don't want my mother to see I'm
- 8:51Speaker 7: trying to get my life together over here. You know
- 8:54Speaker 7: I'm saying, I'm trying to be a better person. My
- 8:55Speaker 7: mama was a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She
- 8:58Speaker 7: been praying for me for a long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:02Speaker 7: and that's all I'm doing, is just hoping that they
- 9:05Speaker 7: see me so they can be proud of me.
- 9:08Speaker 2: See you, you, you, you you.
- 9:10Speaker 7: You got to understand that when you make these mistakes,
- 9:15Speaker 7: that when you fall and stumble and you get it
- 9:17Speaker 7: all so wrong, it.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Ain't over for you. Don't you dare dare dare ever?
- 9:23Speaker 2: Give up?
- 9:24Speaker 7: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:27Speaker 7: way you want it to.
- 9:28Speaker 2: That it ain't meant to be devil. He got so
- 9:30Speaker 2: many tricks to deceive you.
- 9:33Speaker 7: You know why you're being tested right now, because there
- 9:36Speaker 7: is no testimony without the test. You got to go
- 9:41Speaker 7: through something. It's all good man telling you. Just wanted
- 9:45Speaker 7: to share that with you. Don't you give up out there.
- 9:48Speaker 7: I don't care what's happening. Don't don't, don't don't get deceived.
- 9:51Speaker 7: The victory's coming, but you ain't gonna get it if
- 9:54Speaker 7: you quit.
- 9:55Speaker 8: Hang on, y'all, you're listenings to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, another day has been provided for us,
- 10:08Speaker 7: another gift from God Almighty.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Take advantage of it today. Use positive thoughts.
- 10:14Speaker 7: You can affect your attitude and you can affect your
- 10:18Speaker 7: day by your mental process. If you think positive, you
- 10:23Speaker 7: will be positive, you will act positive, and positive things
- 10:27Speaker 7: will occur. If you act to the opposite, then the
- 10:32Speaker 7: opposite will happen. So come on, y'all, get your mind
- 10:34Speaker 7: right today. Whatever side of the bed you got up on,
- 10:38Speaker 7: you ought to be grateful that you got up on it. However,
- 10:41Speaker 7: it's going today. Whatever happened yesterday is in the past.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Nothing can be done about yesterday. Give us this day
- 10:49Speaker 7: our daily bread, asking all to your steps, have a
- 10:53Speaker 7: good one today, man, why take advantage of this one?
- 10:56Speaker 2: What a blessing it is?
- 10:57Speaker 7: Steve Harby, Morny Shows, Shelly Strawberry call it for real
- 11:00Speaker 7: Mississippi Moniicu and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, Oh, what's going on?
- 11:07Speaker 4: What is happening?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Jay? What's on your mind? How you feeling everything?
- 11:17Speaker 9: You?
- 11:19Speaker 6: Yeah, you know it's woke up, Richie? How you're doing?
- 11:25Speaker 6: I didn't really look at it like that. I bet
- 11:28Speaker 6: you look at it if you woke up Pope, you
- 11:30Speaker 6: woke up Richie again. I mean, it's a beautiful thing,
- 11:33Speaker 6: but you put in the work, So I give you
- 11:34Speaker 6: credit on that.
- 11:36Speaker 2: A lot of I woke up. I woke up healthy.
- 11:39Speaker 2: That's that's first.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Health is wealth, Yes, sir, yes, I know a lot.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Of people who are not doing well will give up
- 11:52Speaker 2: every dollar to be doing well. Mm hmmm.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I got a question for you, Steve, Yeah, and I
- 11:59Speaker 3: will to answer. Okay, what's your favorite thing about yourself?
- 12:08Speaker 2: My ability to find peace with just being with me?
- 12:14Speaker 2: You know, I know. I think a lot of people
- 12:19Speaker 2: have to manufacture fun.
- 12:22Speaker 7: I think a lot of people have to have a
- 12:24Speaker 7: lot of people around them to feel validated. I think
- 12:29Speaker 7: a lot of people need others around them to have
- 12:33Speaker 7: purpose and usefulness sometimes, and maybe that's not always in
- 12:38Speaker 7: a negative thing. But I think the favorite thing about
- 12:41Speaker 7: me is I have learned and grown to be okay
- 12:45Speaker 7: with just me, that I can sit in a place
- 12:49Speaker 7: with me and be just as comfortable, not talking, not
- 12:55Speaker 7: giving an opinion. I found peace within myself. I think
- 13:00Speaker 7: a big part of that is because I've opened myself
- 13:03Speaker 7: up more and more to the will of God, and
- 13:06Speaker 7: so as I asked a holy spirit to reside in me,
- 13:10Speaker 7: it has giving me an uncommon amount of peace. Like
- 13:14Speaker 7: there's a lot of things that's going wrong right now,
- 13:20Speaker 7: there are a lot of things that are not going
- 13:22Speaker 7: the way I would like them to go. Doesn't mean
- 13:24Speaker 7: it's going wrong. It just means that God is working
- 13:27Speaker 7: that out in another way that's unbeknownst to me.
- 13:30Speaker 8: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, will
- 13:33Speaker 8: run that prank back with the few.
- 13:36Speaker 10: Right.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Well, that's good for you, Steve Good Now we're gonna
- 13:38Speaker 2: go to commercials.
- 13:40Speaker 8: You know how to cut a testimony job. Thank you
- 13:44Speaker 8: you're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:52Speaker 6: This Sunda of the remaining fourteens battles will make the
- 13:54Speaker 6: championship in the most physical, fears and competitive basketball league
- 13:58Speaker 6: in the world. The action start with the Big Three
- 14:00Speaker 6: Monster Energy Celebrity Game. Then Dwight Howard and his La
- 14:03Speaker 6: Riot take on Montes Harrold and Doctor Jay's Chicago Triplets.
- 14:07Speaker 6: The finale, we'll see popular Miami three h five would
- 14:10Speaker 6: start MVP Michael Beasley and Land Stevenson take on Nancy
- 14:14Speaker 6: Lieberman's Dallas Power who will make it to the Big
- 14:16Speaker 6: Three Championship. Yeah A shouldn't start Sunday at three pm
- 14:19Speaker 6: Eastern twelve Pacific only on CBS.
- 14:22Speaker 8: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 14:25Speaker 8: prank back. What you got for his neph I got
- 14:28Speaker 8: it for you.
- 14:28Speaker 6: I ran it yesterday, and this time, right here, at
- 14:30Speaker 6: this time of the morning is when we run it
- 14:32Speaker 6: back for those that didn't get it yesterday, for those
- 14:35Speaker 6: that are on their wait only way to work early,
- 14:38Speaker 6: and they get the first prank of the day, they
- 14:40Speaker 6: may not get the second one. So so I'm stupid
- 14:42Speaker 6: in two hours. I try to be stupid all four hours,
- 14:45Speaker 6: but my first dose of stupid is now. The second
- 14:48Speaker 6: dose comes an hour later, and then I kind of
- 14:51Speaker 6: spoon feed a little bit of stupid and sprinkling here
- 14:54Speaker 6: and there throughout the four hours. And that's my job.
- 14:56Speaker 6: That's on the contract. I just want those out there
- 14:58Speaker 6: listening to know how I operate. You understand what I'm saying,
- 15:01Speaker 6: all right?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Anyway, right, there's no trying. You're accomplishing it. The highest than.
- 15:10Speaker 6: This right here is your new landlord, Your new landlord, Landlord,
- 15:19Speaker 6: your new landlord.

- 16:26Speaker 11: Nocause I made my last payment less than six weeks ago,
- 16:30Speaker 11: you own this house.
- 16:32Speaker 9: I actually, I'm sorry.
- 16:34Speaker 11: I'm written this from mister. I gave him my payment
- 16:37Speaker 11: less than six weeks ago. So you're saying he got
- 16:38Speaker 11: my money, he owned the house, and what's up with that?
- 16:41Speaker 9: Well, yeah, I actually do I guess you know he's
- 16:44Speaker 9: He actually told me that you guys would have been

- 17:08Speaker 9: be moving in on Monday, And what I'm trying to
- 17:10Speaker 9: do is actually get in there, get you guys out,
- 17:12Speaker 9: get the place cleaned up so the tenants can move
- 17:14Speaker 9: in and actually start unpacking all their things. They're wanting
- 17:16Speaker 9: to move in on Monday.

- 22:13Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour. In entertainment news,
- 22:16Speaker 8: President Trump's newest initiative is to get rid of all
- 22:20Speaker 8: mail in ballots and voting machines. Okay, he's on that
- 22:25Speaker 8: now cable news channel MSNBC has a new name, it's
- 22:29Speaker 8: called ms now. And ESPN has pulled the plug on
- 22:33Speaker 8: Spike Lee's docu series about Colin Kaepernick. That is all
- 22:37Speaker 8: coming up at the top of the hour, But right
- 22:40Speaker 8: now it is time to ask the COLO or Chief
- 22:43Speaker 8: Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Ready, Steve, yes, ma'am? All right,
- 22:48Speaker 8: sloan In Anderson right. My boyfriend broke up with me
- 22:52Speaker 8: and he took my clothes and other things to his
- 22:55Speaker 8: mom's house. I owe his mama some money, so she's saying,
- 22:59Speaker 8: I won't get my clothes until I pay her. She
- 23:03Speaker 8: has all of my work clothes. How do I get
- 23:06Speaker 8: my things back?
- 23:08Speaker 2: Give her mama the money you owe her.
- 23:14Speaker 1: That's it.
- 23:16Speaker 2: All this was playing. Yeah, your boy told your mama
- 23:21Speaker 2: he fit the break up.
- 23:22Speaker 7: He said, bring all her clothes over here, because when
- 23:27Speaker 7: you break up with her, I ain't gonna see my
- 23:29Speaker 7: money no more. And I'm gonna keep her clothes till
- 23:31Speaker 7: she give me my money. That's all you got. That's
- 23:35Speaker 7: all you got. Ain't no need to try to drag
- 23:38Speaker 7: the police into this because they not gonna get into that.
- 23:41Speaker 7: They got to have proof that it was your clothes.
- 23:43Speaker 7: They ain't got no search. Want to go in in
- 23:44Speaker 7: mama's house. How much do you owe his mama? You've
- 23:50Speaker 7: got to pay her back all I got for you.
- 23:56Speaker 2: You can't go over there and take it, and no
- 23:58Speaker 2: need to go in in the yard with no seen.
- 24:01Speaker 2: You know you owe this woman this money. She got
- 24:04Speaker 2: your clothes, you can go to work especially.
- 24:09Speaker 8: Yeah, that's what she said all of her work clothes.
- 24:12Speaker 2: All right.
- 24:12Speaker 8: Moving on to Kyle in Louisville, Kyle writes, I've been
- 24:15Speaker 8: married three years. In May, my wife told me that
- 24:18Speaker 8: she hated her job, so she quit. She also stopped
- 24:23Speaker 8: cleaning the house and cooking. She told me that this
- 24:26Speaker 8: is a life she's always wanted. How do I tell
- 24:28Speaker 8: my wife that she's not a Disney princess?
- 24:33Speaker 7: Yeah you could, you could tell her now, but this
- 24:36Speaker 7: is the life she's always wanted, always a Disney priss.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I don't quit my job. I don't like it. I
- 24:44Speaker 2: don't clean no more.
- 24:47Speaker 8: Who have you married?
- 24:50Speaker 2: I'm sitting around? Yeah? Wow, okay, so bro, I really
- 25:02Speaker 2: don't have no.
- 25:02Speaker 7: Real advice for you, man, except you know, you gotta
- 25:06Speaker 7: sit her down and have that conversation with her, and
- 25:09Speaker 7: all she gonna do is tell you this is the
- 25:11Speaker 7: life she's always wanted. She hates her job. You know
- 25:15Speaker 7: you all didn't plan it. You all had planned, obviously
- 25:18Speaker 7: in your marriage to be from a two income household.
- 25:22Speaker 7: She's changed that now's one income. You feeling a little betrayed,
- 25:27Speaker 7: a little let down, So you gotta voice your opinion,
- 25:31Speaker 7: and then, you know, probably the best thing for you,
- 25:37Speaker 7: I think, is just gonna let her be a Disney princess,
- 25:40Speaker 7: you know, but without your check. Yeah, I don't get
- 25:43Speaker 7: a divorce, and then you can take that princess thing
- 25:46Speaker 7: as far as you want to take it.
- 25:48Speaker 8: Yeah, because she just shut down, all right. Moving on
- 25:54Speaker 8: to Jason and Daytona Beach, Jason writes, my wife has
- 25:58Speaker 8: a bad habit of correct me in public in front
- 26:02Speaker 8: of others. She did it Saturday and I ignored her.
- 26:05Speaker 8: I wanted to curse her out in the car, but
- 26:08Speaker 8: I didn't. How do I get her to respect me
- 26:11Speaker 8: and stop talking to me like I'm a child in public.
- 26:15Speaker 7: You're gonna have to talk to about it, though. You're
- 26:19Speaker 7: gonna have to talk to about it. And ladies be
- 26:23Speaker 7: be mindful of that. Not all women, but just some women.
- 26:26Speaker 7: Be mindful of demasculating your man. It's not a benefit
- 26:31Speaker 7: to your marriage. Of what's it called emasculating? So you
- 26:38Speaker 7: can d as in deduction, ain't nobody, ain't nobody, Ain't
- 26:46Speaker 7: nobody deducted no money from me. They deduct your money
- 26:50Speaker 7: they take from So whatever that is. They said, don't
- 26:54Speaker 7: do that to him in public. It doesn't all work.
- 26:58Speaker 7: If you emasculate him in front of others. So I
- 27:03Speaker 7: think you're going to have to have the serious conversation
- 27:05Speaker 7: with her because that can't continue to happen because he
- 27:08Speaker 7: gonna snap one day.
- 27:10Speaker 8: What what kind of relationship do they have? He said,
- 27:12Speaker 8: I wanted to curse her out in the car. Do
- 27:15Speaker 8: they talk to each other like that?
- 27:17Speaker 7: Well, you know, he mad now because this ain't the
- 27:20Speaker 7: first time she's done it before. So yeah, she embarrasses
- 27:27Speaker 7: him in public. So I wanted to cuss out in
- 27:29Speaker 7: the car. Hey, don't you ever raise your blankety blank
- 27:33Speaker 7: voice to me like that again? And check me in
- 27:36Speaker 7: front of no blankety blank people. Blank you think you are?
- 27:39Speaker 7: I ain't your child, I'm your husband. You need to
- 27:42Speaker 7: get that blank straight.
- 27:44Speaker 2: That's what he wanted to say. That's what he's say
- 27:46Speaker 2: in the mirror.
- 27:50Speaker 7: When my first two marriages, That's what I said. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:55Speaker 7: my first two marriages, That's what I said. Yeah we
- 27:59Speaker 7: heard how that worked? Oh yeah, yeah here, oh yeah
- 28:04Speaker 7: yeah yeah, because you knew it. It was like it
- 28:09Speaker 7: was rehearsed.
- 28:10Speaker 2: You knew what I know exactly what to say because
- 28:12Speaker 2: I said it.
- 28:14Speaker 7: Then I figured that out. Just try to just marry
- 28:19Speaker 7: somebody that don't make you want to custom out.
- 28:21Speaker 2: You ain't got all right? All right?
- 28:24Speaker 8: Last one, Steve, This is the last one. This is
- 28:26Speaker 8: from Christi in Stockbridge. Christie writes, my husband took our
- 28:31Speaker 8: six year old to get his ears pierced, and he
- 28:34Speaker 8: didn't tell me about it. I also injured my I
- 28:38Speaker 8: almost injured my son trying to pull them out. My
- 28:41Speaker 8: husband got his ears pierced too. I'm not happy. Why
- 28:45Speaker 8: did he wait until he's thirty seven to get his
- 28:48Speaker 8: ears pierced?
- 28:50Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I don't really know, but I wouldn't. You can't. You
- 28:54Speaker 2: got to.
- 28:54Speaker 7: You gotta talk it over with your spouse when it
- 28:56Speaker 7: comes to them children, especially the mother. She's the manufacturer
- 29:01Speaker 7: of the child. You know, that old that old a man.
- 29:06Speaker 7: That's fifty percent of it.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Nah, not really?
- 29:09Speaker 7: Well, you about you about ten percent of the processed dog.
- 29:13Speaker 7: You made a contribution at the beginning. After that you
- 29:16Speaker 7: were done. It's all her. You got to tell her
- 29:20Speaker 7: and ask her what to do with this baby. So
- 29:26Speaker 7: six year old don't need pierced ears, that's for sure.
- 29:29Speaker 2: That's out of line, that's way of it. Well, I
- 29:34Speaker 2: don't think at thirty seven you need piercing, but that
- 29:37Speaker 2: is that's just me. But I'm okay. I'm okay with
- 29:39Speaker 2: me and who do it. I'm okay with tattoos.
- 29:42Speaker 8: You agree with the wife because she's not happy about it.
- 29:45Speaker 8: She wants to know, or you should have talked to
- 29:47Speaker 8: her about it. It's a child, now you he thirty seven.
- 29:52Speaker 8: He went and took But I would have checked with
- 29:53Speaker 8: my wife. Baby, I'm thinking about getting this baby. I
- 29:55Speaker 8: don't want you had no pisc that would have been
- 29:57Speaker 8: the end of it. But I couldn't get tattoos or
- 30:01Speaker 8: piercing because of a promise I made to my mother
- 30:04Speaker 8: and father. My mother asked me, never brand your body
- 30:06Speaker 8: because she knew I was in the fratt She said,
- 30:09Speaker 8: the Lord don't want you to do that.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So I never did that.
- 30:13Speaker 7: And my daddy said, don't come in this house with
- 30:15Speaker 7: no ear in ones. Just old school and it ain't
- 30:19Speaker 7: nothing wrong with it, won't it? One man Jordan had one.
- 30:26Speaker 8: Thank you Colo coming up at the top of the hour.
- 30:28Speaker 8: We'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:31Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, So let's get
- 30:40Speaker 8: right into this. President Donald Trump's newest initiative is to
- 30:43Speaker 8: eliminate mail in voting ballots and voting machines at polling places.
- 30:48Speaker 8: Trump ranted, quote, I am going to lead a movement
- 30:51Speaker 8: to get rid of all mail and to get rid
- 30:54Speaker 8: of mail in ballots, and also, while we're at it,
- 30:57Speaker 8: highly inaccurate, very expensive, and serious, controversial voting machines. Elections
- 31:03Speaker 8: can never be honest with mail in ballots and voting
- 31:06Speaker 8: and everybody, in particular the Democrats know this. According to Trump,
- 31:10Speaker 8: America is the only country dumb enough to still use
- 31:13Speaker 8: them because other nations gave them up after massive fraud.
- 31:17Speaker 8: Trump didn't just make this announcement. He also promised to
- 31:20Speaker 8: actually sign an executive order to ban mail in ballots
- 31:24Speaker 8: and voting machines, which will force the country to go
- 31:27Speaker 8: back to using paper ballots with watermarks that Trump says
- 31:32Speaker 8: can't be faked. Mail in ballots are widely used by
- 31:35Speaker 8: We know seniors use mail in ballots, people with disabilities
- 31:39Speaker 8: use mail in ballots. Military personnel stationed overseas use mail
- 31:44Speaker 8: in ballots, all of them.
- 31:45Speaker 7: How does he think he won the election by five
- 31:49Speaker 7: million votes? How does he think that happen? See, you're
- 31:53Speaker 7: so busy talking about fraud. Man, You don't even you
- 31:57Speaker 7: so the elections were so stuck on.
- 31:59Speaker 2: The first election. It's just crazy, man.
- 32:02Speaker 7: You pushing the narrative that the election was stolen to
- 32:06Speaker 7: the point where you're gonna mess yourself up.
- 32:09Speaker 2: It don't make no sense. But here's the problem. All
- 32:13Speaker 2: of this may not be his last term.
- 32:17Speaker 7: These people are going to try to keep this man
- 32:21Speaker 7: as president of king they are if he gets enough
- 32:24Speaker 7: of these initiatives passed, and the Republican Party is afraid.
- 32:29Speaker 8: Of him, they're all afraid.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, they are the biggest cowards I've ever seen. Yes, ma'am.
- 32:35Speaker 8: He said, America is the only country dumb enough to
- 32:39Speaker 8: still use them, because.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Twelve countries that still do mailing. Doubt didn't he vote
- 32:46Speaker 3: by mail?
- 32:50Speaker 8: Doesn't?
- 32:50Speaker 2: He doesn't. He doesn't get it. He's so big stated
- 32:56Speaker 2: on the election being stolen.
- 32:58Speaker 8: And it was it was, don't stop it. But what
- 33:01Speaker 8: about the seniors who can't get out of their homes
- 33:04Speaker 8: and all that and need mail? You don't people with disabilities?
- 33:09Speaker 8: What about those people you know that's here, they've been
- 33:12Speaker 8: using mail in ballots for years. Yeah, it's really going
- 33:16Speaker 8: to affect their ability to vote on.
- 33:19Speaker 2: This He's unbelievable.
- 33:23Speaker 10: Man.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And the country that we live in right now, that's
- 33:28Speaker 1: all you can do is just go.
- 33:32Speaker 2: This country is in the worst shape since I've been born.
- 33:36Speaker 6: And I mean listen to me, man, I was I
- 33:39Speaker 6: was worse than the sixties.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Bruh.
- 33:42Speaker 7: I was born into whites only water fountains and bathrooms.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I was born in that era. I saw the signs.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I've lived it.
- 33:52Speaker 7: What's happening today, though, is equivalent to what happened then
- 33:58Speaker 7: because they're doing it. It's it's white's only education right now.
- 34:03Speaker 7: They want to eradicate black history. It's it's they want
- 34:08Speaker 7: to get rid of this. You know, I don't want
- 34:11Speaker 7: to talk about.
- 34:11Speaker 8: This, all right, all right, moving on. We're just gonna
- 34:14Speaker 8: move on. But that's what's.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Not to day.
- 34:18Speaker 6: Man.
- 34:19Speaker 8: Cable news channel, formerly known as MSNBC, is rebranding and
- 34:23Speaker 8: will now be called MS now. The new acronym stands
- 34:27Speaker 8: for My Source for News, Opinion and the World. The
- 34:31Speaker 8: new name is a result of the network leaving NBC
- 34:34Speaker 8: Universal and being acquired by Versent. Versa CLO CEO remarked
- 34:39Speaker 8: that the new name underscores the brand's mission to serve
- 34:43Speaker 8: as the destination for domestic and international breaking news and
- 34:47Speaker 8: the best in class opinion journalism. So were you guys
- 34:51Speaker 8: a fan of MSNBC used to be.
- 34:57Speaker 6: There?
- 34:58Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 35:00Speaker 1: There, Yeah, yeah I was.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I was a fan.
- 35:04Speaker 8: So well, now it's going to be known as ms
- 35:08Speaker 8: now it has changed.
- 35:10Speaker 1: That's what they need to hire Joy Read.
- 35:13Speaker 8: Yeah now that. Yeah, she had a great show. Finally,
- 35:19Speaker 8: according to Variety, ESPN will not be airing Spike Lee's
- 35:23Speaker 8: long awaited docuseries and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Back
- 35:28Speaker 8: in twenty twenty two, spike signed on to work on
- 35:33Speaker 8: the docuseries, which promised to help Kaepernick tell his story
- 35:36Speaker 8: from his perspective. When asked about the docuseries at the
- 35:39Speaker 8: Red Carpet at a red carpet event in Beverly Hills recently,
- 35:43Speaker 8: Spike Lee told the reporters that all he could say
- 35:45Speaker 8: is that the docuseries will not be released and he
- 35:49Speaker 8: can't talk about it because he signed an NDA, a
- 35:53Speaker 8: non disclosure agreement. So you have any thoughts on that, Steve,
- 35:57Speaker 8: Why do you think ESPN pulled the plug on the
- 36:00Speaker 8: sus about that?
- 36:01Speaker 7: Well, because ESPN of course has a deal with sports,
- 36:07Speaker 7: I mean, you know, and ESPN is owned by Disney.
- 36:12Speaker 7: Disney has a rigorous standard of how they're supposed tagged.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and so I think that that has a lot
- 36:21Speaker 2: to do with it. They're not.
- 36:23Speaker 7: I think what he's done has uncovered and unmasked in
- 36:28Speaker 7: his documentary some things about the NFL that people don't
- 36:33Speaker 7: want to face and deal with. Hey, look, you go
- 36:36Speaker 7: from a guy like Jerry Jones going down on the
- 36:39Speaker 7: field supporting his players, locking arm in arm when they
- 36:42Speaker 7: were on their knees.
- 36:43Speaker 2: All of a sudden, to all yeah, to all of
- 36:46Speaker 2: a sudden, hey, man, don't do this no more. You
- 36:48Speaker 2: won't be on this team.
- 36:50Speaker 6: It went from that to that, what meeting did the
- 36:54Speaker 6: owners have? I'm thirty two, buddy, I'm thirty two. It's
- 36:58Speaker 6: something else.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Because that's a group of people who truly act like owners.
- 37:06Speaker 8: I don't know if we'll ever see that coming up
- 37:08Speaker 8: at twenty minutes after the hour of Female Influencer has
- 37:11Speaker 8: a unique online business that's focused on exposing cheaters. Cheaters exposed.
- 37:18Speaker 8: When we come back right after this, you're listening Steve
- 37:22Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:28Speaker 14: If you're a homeowner, you know it took years of saving,
- 37:30Speaker 14: planning and hard work to get in the door.

- 40:57Speaker 8: That's that's your business. And if you flirt with the woman,

- 41:56Speaker 8: memories looking back over here?
- 41:59Speaker 7: When they told us that we wasn't gonna make it,
- 42:03Speaker 7: I look at it now, when they told us we
- 42:08Speaker 7: will make sure that you would never have a career
- 42:12Speaker 7: in radio.
- 42:14Speaker 2: It is over for you. Yeah, that's what they told
- 42:17Speaker 2: me when I left LA in two thousand and five.
- 42:20Speaker 2: That's what they said.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Oh, not being the current company, the former Oh no, no, okay,
- 42:27Speaker 1: let's get clarity on that.
- 42:28Speaker 7: Okay, you know, almost almost I was in discussions with
- 42:33Speaker 7: Tom Joiner. I almost signed with Tom Joiner, and we
- 42:38Speaker 7: were gonna be the Twin Towers of radio. And he
- 42:42Speaker 7: was gonna do mornings and I was gonna do afternoon drive.
- 42:46Speaker 7: And the offer was made and I slept on it
- 42:52Speaker 7: and I woke up and I said, hey, man, I'm
- 42:53Speaker 7: not gonna do that. And so the guy was working
- 42:56Speaker 7: with said, why not. Man, it's a pretty good offer,
- 42:59Speaker 7: I said, And he was gonna put me on all
- 43:02Speaker 7: the markets he was in. So I was gonna have
- 43:04Speaker 7: a big show to begin with. I said, no, man,
- 43:07Speaker 7: I want to be relevant. I want to be significant.
- 43:09Speaker 7: There's nothing is more significant than morning drive radio. I said,
- 43:13Speaker 7: I'm morning drive guy. They said, WHOA, that's not gonna happen,
- 43:19Speaker 7: because you would have to be in competition.
- 43:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 43:22Speaker 7: I said, well not really. I'm not gonna be in
- 43:25Speaker 7: competition with anybody. I'm just gonna get my own show.

- 43:32Speaker 7: be in competent.
- 43:33Speaker 2: No, I'm not. I'm not.
- 43:34Speaker 7: I'm gonna do the best I can do. I'm gonna
- 43:36Speaker 7: compete against me. I'm not gonna compete against anybody else.
- 43:39Speaker 7: I've always been that way.
- 43:42Speaker 6: And so.
- 43:45Speaker 7: I went to New York and started at WBLS one
- 43:48Speaker 7: on seven five WBLS in New York, and we met
- 43:52Speaker 7: in Martha's vineyards and it was a productive meeting, but
- 43:55Speaker 7: it didn't go well enough.
- 43:57Speaker 2: And so I called I Heeart and and I said,
- 44:01Speaker 2: here's the deal.
- 44:02Speaker 9: You have this, and they have that.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Let's join forces.
- 44:07Speaker 7: And God gave that I did to me. And so
- 44:10Speaker 7: they met and they joined forces. And we started with
- 44:13Speaker 7: four cities. We started with Shreveport, YEP, Detroit, Tuscaloosa. That
- 44:23Speaker 7: we started with four cities. They said, if you have
- 44:26Speaker 7: twenty five cities in three years, we were considered as
- 44:29Speaker 7: a success.
- 44:30Speaker 2: In three years we had sixty cities.
- 44:33Speaker 6: Mm.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Hm, So I guess that's a yeah.
- 44:38Speaker 6: Yeah, maybe we went to work and now we would
- 44:42Speaker 6: eight nine million every morning.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Well, I mean know, we have a huge listening audience.
- 44:49Speaker 7: Monica has some interesting numbers that she sends to me
- 44:53Speaker 7: because you know, I don't really follow numbers.
- 44:57Speaker 8: Just because that's creative. Yeah, yeah, I don't.
- 45:01Speaker 2: The numbers are what they are, is nothing you could
- 45:03Speaker 2: do about them.
- 45:04Speaker 9: You know.
- 45:05Speaker 7: We just do the best radio show. We're gonna make
- 45:07Speaker 7: some changes in year twenty five. Afterwards, we're gonna have
- 45:13Speaker 7: some surprises for you on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 45:17Speaker 7: We're meeting discussing those things, and we're gonna have some
- 45:20Speaker 7: new stuff to bring to you after our birthday and

- 45:41Speaker 7: Well, Tommy, it's gonna be some surprises, Okay, thet not
- 45:44Speaker 7: have nothing to be surprising me?
- 45:47Speaker 8: What your problem?
- 45:49Speaker 7: Look, if I didn't find you the first two years
- 45:51Speaker 7: you were with me, you're pretty much safe now because
- 45:54Speaker 7: you were the raggedest employee.
- 45:59Speaker 8: And no one can say anything because it was your nephew.
- 46:04Speaker 8: Coming up next, it is the nephew who we just
- 46:07Speaker 8: found out doesn't like surprises, and today's prank phone call
- 46:11Speaker 8: right after this.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Surprise vaias what vals Hey.
- 46:15Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 46:22Speaker 8: at about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry
- 46:25Speaker 8: letter for today and the subject is my friend is
- 46:29Speaker 8: doing the most Okay, we'll get into that find out
- 46:33Speaker 8: what that's all about in just a few because right
- 46:35Speaker 8: now it is time for the nephew and today's prank
- 46:39Speaker 8: phone call, which you got for us now.
- 46:41Speaker 6: Well, sirl, if you grew up in the church like
- 46:43Speaker 6: I did, you already know there's one person, one group
- 46:47Speaker 6: of people that you don't fool with, and that is
- 46:50Speaker 6: the usher boy. You don't get a usher board, no trouble.
- 46:54Speaker 6: They can keep you outside. They won't let you in
- 46:56Speaker 6: the door. When you're just standing out there, they just
- 46:58Speaker 6: turn around and look at you do that little thing
- 47:00Speaker 6: in glass and paring back around might not let you
- 47:03Speaker 6: ain't gonna city where you want to see it. Usher
- 47:05Speaker 6: boy got way more control than you think. They run everything,
- 47:08Speaker 6: But that's the best person to give a call when
- 47:11Speaker 6: you want to prank somebody.
- 47:12Speaker 2: This right here, this is the Usher Lady.
- 47:16Speaker 6: And I want you to listen real close, because I
- 47:18Speaker 6: swear I think she said I don't a piece.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Of lady.
- 47:23Speaker 6: Because I don't be calling the bishop by his by
- 47:26Speaker 6: his full title. But anyway, here go, this is the
- 47:29Speaker 6: Usher lady.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Cat dog. If you would hello, Hello, I'm trying to
- 47:33Speaker 2: reach your sister. This is how doing uh good good
- 47:38Speaker 2: evening to you, ma'am.
- 47:39Speaker 6: I don't mean to be giving you a call this
- 47:41Speaker 6: lady in the evening, but I I am the new
- 47:44Speaker 6: Youth minister.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I haven't. My name is Sean Williams over at Missionary
- 47:49Speaker 2: Baptist Church, which.
- 47:49Speaker 12: Minus what New Youth Minnesota. What happened?
- 47:54Speaker 6: Uh he's no longer with the church anymore? Man, No,
- 47:58Speaker 6: oh my no, why well, I'm not at liberty to
- 48:02Speaker 6: speak upon that. But but what I was doing is
- 48:05Speaker 6: getting around and making sure I met everyone, because I
- 48:08Speaker 6: haven't met everyone yet, and I wanted to reach out to.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Everyone at the church.
- 48:14Speaker 6: But listen, let me, let me get down to some
- 48:16Speaker 6: more business, because I've I've spoken with the pastor.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Uh we spoke.
- 48:24Speaker 9: Bishop Bishop Okay, I spoke.
- 48:28Speaker 6: With him on yesterday, and we have narrowed some things
- 48:33Speaker 6: down of a few changes we're going to be making
- 48:35Speaker 6: at the church. And what we want to do is
- 48:38Speaker 6: one of the major subjects that have come up, sister,
- 48:41Speaker 6: is that we're wanting you, if at all possible, and
- 48:45Speaker 6: the deacons we're in on this meeting as well, but
- 48:48Speaker 6: wanting you to change your attitude when people are coming
- 48:51Speaker 6: in and you're seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten
- 48:54Speaker 6: to the point.
- 48:54Speaker 12: Where they think you wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait
- 48:57Speaker 12: wait a minute, I had a meeting, know me, well,
- 49:00Speaker 12: it wasn't amating. I don't listen here. I've been ushering
- 49:04Speaker 12: on that usher board for forty seven years. I am
- 49:08Speaker 12: the senior usher on that un board, and I really
- 49:11Speaker 12: know I've been trying to.
- 49:12Speaker 9: Be nuts about it.
- 49:13Speaker 12: But I don't understand how y'all don't have a meeting
- 49:15Speaker 12: without me. That's all. But now you won't call here
- 49:19Speaker 12: and tell me that you're gonna have you having a
- 49:22Speaker 12: meeting on me about me being nice, always nice.
- 49:26Speaker 6: Well, ma'am, that doesn't seem to be the problem with that, son,
- 49:29Speaker 6: sold is you twenty seven.
- 49:31Speaker 12: Many gonna some boy to call me and I don't
- 49:35Speaker 12: make no pay?
- 49:38Speaker 9: What is it?
- 49:38Speaker 2: Well?
- 49:39Speaker 6: What that's actually my call, ma'am, is that maybe we
- 49:42Speaker 6: have figured if I would call and speak with you
- 49:44Speaker 6: about the matter, that maybe we can get to some
- 49:47Speaker 6: type of uh rectifying this situation to where we.
- 49:50Speaker 12: Can We're gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify you calling
- 49:54Speaker 12: me this time of night, tell by some meeting. This
- 49:57Speaker 12: don't make no time. And I don't know bush Nate,
- 50:00Speaker 12: you're calling me any time of night? Away, Bishop, I
- 50:04Speaker 12: need to speak the bishop. Bishop's the one that I've
- 50:08Speaker 12: been at this church for forty seven years. I've been say,
- 50:11Speaker 12: oh my life, this don't make no type of sense.
- 50:13Speaker 12: You calling me here with this mess. Now, y'all gonna
- 50:16Speaker 12: make me cuss. I'm trying to be a question, but
- 50:19Speaker 12: y'all not gonna lost me be a Christian. You're just
- 50:22Speaker 12: gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess. We're telling
- 50:25Speaker 12: me about something.
- 50:25Speaker 6: Be nice? Well, Mamber that that, sir, that they're having
- 50:28Speaker 6: problems when you're seeding the people, and that's all that
- 50:31Speaker 6: we're trying to get rectified.
- 50:32Speaker 12: People don't want to sit down. They want to go
- 50:34Speaker 12: over here, they want to go over there. They want
- 50:36Speaker 12: to have the children runner to and frow. It's like
- 50:38Speaker 12: a bunch of beamons while he's just bucking around in
- 50:41Speaker 12: the trunch like they ain't got no sense. And I'm
- 50:43Speaker 12: not gonna have it in my section.
- 50:45Speaker 1: My section is gonna be strife, and I understand it.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Let you know what, since.
- 50:51Speaker 6: I think if we did this, if you would do
- 50:52Speaker 6: me a favor and hold your phone, and if you
- 50:54Speaker 6: would just bow your head right now for me, maybe
- 50:57Speaker 6: we can come to to get to get them what
- 51:01Speaker 6: a head.
- 51:06Speaker 12: If we can thraws as clean it's hospital coffee. It
- 51:08Speaker 12: don't make no traverse for about what I buy my head.
- 51:11Speaker 6: If you could, maybe if you could close your eyes, sister, sister,
- 51:15Speaker 6: I walk.
- 51:16Speaker 12: I said, you called me and woke me up out
- 51:18Speaker 12: of my fleet with this mess. Come on, come meeting.
- 51:21Speaker 12: I am therein nor as this and I don't appreciate it.
- 51:23Speaker 12: I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm.
- 51:25Speaker 9: Gonna speak to this now.
- 51:26Speaker 2: Father, we asked that you look down upon Suster.
- 51:29Speaker 6: We asked that you look down upon her right now,
- 51:33Speaker 6: right now, asking that you put a smile on her
- 51:35Speaker 6: face on Sunday morning, asking that you'll put some joy
- 51:39Speaker 6: in her heart on Sunday morning. A can that you
- 51:42Speaker 6: draw all the pain that she in, the anguish that
- 51:44Speaker 6: she might be going through. Whatever demon there is inside,
- 51:48Speaker 6: We asked that you draw that demon out.
- 51:50Speaker 2: We asked that you poured that demon away from Suster
- 51:54Speaker 2: right now. Any of your name, we asked all of
- 51:57Speaker 2: these blessings to come.
- 51:59Speaker 12: I don't she ain't this boy. I don't even know

- 52:11Speaker 12: He don't he don't act that way. And it's Bishop

- 56:41Speaker 2: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 56:45Speaker 8: All right, thank you, nephew. Subject my friend is doing
- 56:49Speaker 8: the most Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm writing this about one
- 56:52Speaker 8: of my best male friends. He has moved to the
- 56:55Speaker 8: city I live in, and he's dating a lot of
- 56:57Speaker 8: women because he just got divorced. Apparently he's had a
- 57:01Speaker 8: few women come over to visit him, because the landlord
- 57:04Speaker 8: called me four times to say that he's making too
- 57:07Speaker 8: much noise. I know he's a calm and quiet man
- 57:10Speaker 8: that loves jazz and he doesn't watch a lot of TV.
- 57:13Speaker 8: I am subletting my duplex to him. So the landlord
- 57:16Speaker 8: lady calls me and won't talk directly to my friend.
- 57:20Speaker 8: I had to ask her a few times and pry
- 57:22Speaker 8: it out of her to find out what kind of
- 57:24Speaker 8: noise is coming from the house. She said it's sexual noises.
- 57:29Speaker 8: I couldn't believe it. I talked to him and he
- 57:32Speaker 8: said that it's normal sex and the women are enjoying
- 57:34Speaker 8: themselves a lot. That's all he said. I told him
- 57:38Speaker 8: that he's disrupting his neighbor's peace. I was shocked to
- 57:41Speaker 8: find out that the neighbor is one of the women
- 57:43Speaker 8: that he has been in his bed. I told him
- 57:46Speaker 8: that he's being careless and that it's too messy to
- 57:49Speaker 8: have sex with the chick next door. Come to find out,
- 57:52Speaker 8: she's jealous and has started talking to the women as
- 57:55Speaker 8: they leave his house. She recently met one of the
- 57:58Speaker 8: ladies in the parking lot at her car and asked
- 58:01Speaker 8: her how well she knew my male friend. The neighbor
- 58:05Speaker 8: lady told the woman that my friend gave her an STD.
- 58:09Speaker 8: This is so messy and it's my friend's fault for
- 58:12Speaker 8: being involved with all of these different women. I'm siding
- 58:15Speaker 8: with the landlord at this point, and I've asked my
- 58:18Speaker 8: friend to stop being so horrish. He warned me to
- 58:21Speaker 8: mind my business or our friendship will end. Is this
- 58:25Speaker 8: worth ruining our twenty year friendship. Should I take my
- 58:29Speaker 8: chances and ask him to move out? Or should I
- 58:32Speaker 8: mind my business? Well, this is your business. This is
- 58:36Speaker 8: your business. He's doing too much with too many women,
- 58:39Speaker 8: and it's in your place because the place is in
- 58:42Speaker 8: your name and he's disrespecting it. If this was his
- 58:45Speaker 8: own place, he could do whatever he wanted with whomever
- 58:48Speaker 8: he wanted. He warned you to mind your own business.
- 58:50Speaker 8: But like I said, this is your business. He and
- 58:53Speaker 8: the landlord have made it your business. I mean, this
- 58:57Speaker 8: is not about judging or anything like that. Is about
- 58:59Speaker 8: your friend and taking advantage of your kindness and your
- 59:02Speaker 8: generosity in subletting your place to him. Now, is the
- 59:06Speaker 8: landlord crazy in doing what she's doing. Yes, she's stopping
- 59:11Speaker 8: these women as they come out of his place in
- 59:13Speaker 8: the parking lot. Uh saying he gave her an STD.
- 59:16Speaker 8: That's really, really, really crazy. I think both your friend
- 59:21Speaker 8: and the landlord need to go at this point. You know,
- 59:24Speaker 8: your friend too many ways. You know, this gets too
- 59:28Speaker 8: messy and it's giving. I just think it's just too messy, messy, messy, messy.
- 59:33Speaker 8: He needs to either stop or move out and get
- 59:35Speaker 8: his own place. Steve, what, yeah, how do you?
- 59:41Speaker 9: What do you mean?
- 59:42Speaker 2: This is your business? This ain't her business?
- 59:46Speaker 7: Is just this ain't her business? What when you when
- 59:53Speaker 7: you rinch your place, are you sub let your place?
- 59:58Speaker 7: You you give a per the rights to live there
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: and whatever lifestyle they have behind that door when it locks.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: That ain't your business. You should have discussed this beforehand. Hey, look,
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: you got some place. You got There are places that
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: don't allow pets. So you want to say up front,
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: we don't allow pets. Now if we don't, if you
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: can come up with a way to say to a person,
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: you cannot date more than one woman, and when y'all
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: have sex, it has to be quiet.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Who finished sign this paper?
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: So I'm not really sure that this woman has a
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: valid point or concerned, but it's about one of her
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: best male friends. He's moved to a city I live in.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: He's dating a lot of women because he just got
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: a divorce. So apparently he had a few women come
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: over to visit him because the landlord called me four
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: times to say that he's making too much.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Know now the sex is loud, but who is the landlord? Though?
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Last really find out who she is?
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: She oh by herself, busybody probably named Hazel to pay
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: attention to everything. Now she say, I know he's a calm,
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: quiet man that loves jazz and he don't watch a
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: lot of TV.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Now you know why he don't.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: He don't got to watch a lot of TV because
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: he got them girls coming through what as we watch
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: a TV folk were in here getting jazz. A Yeah,
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: so I'm subletting my duplex to him. So the landlord
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: lady calls me and won't talk directly to my friend
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: because she knows she out of line. I had to
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: ask her a few times and pry it out of her. No,
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: you didn't know, you didn't, You ain't. She called to
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: tell you to find out what kind of noise is
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: coming from house? She said, it's sexual noises. Okay, what
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: is sexual noises?
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: What is that?
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: So now she said sexual noise. I couldn't believe it.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Why why you couldn't believe it? You just said he
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: recently got a divorce and he's dating a lot of women.
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: Why you can't believe it's no sexual noise? You said
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: he's very quiet, but they ain't. And when you trying
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: to win a man, you are normally a little bit
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: louder than you normally are.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Hello.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: Is that true?
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Hello?
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: You know when y'all trying to hear somebody up? Oh
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: ah ah, it way mod than it really is.
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: Thought.
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up to
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: today's Strubberry letter at twenty three minutes after the subject
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: is my friend is doing the most. We'll get into it,
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: back into it right after this. You're listening the Steve
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:19Speaker 7: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: with the deal so right it almost feels wrong. Right now,
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: Get huge savings on our popular models, including our venture
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: ready SUV's like the Hondai Santa Fe, or go all
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: electric with America's most awarded EV lineup like.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: The Ionic five or Ionic six.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Get down to your local Hondai dealer and get away
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sale event.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Visit HYUNDAIUSA dot com for details.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve. Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: The subject is my friend is doing the most well.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: She's got a.
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: Male friend over twenty years. He got a divorce and
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: he seeing a lot of women that he just moved
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: back to town. So you sub let him a place
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: that you're renting out from this lady, a duplex. He's
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: in there having these women over and the lady landlord
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: is calling you saying he make it too much noise.
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: You say you pride out of her and find out
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: that these noises is sexual. So he over there having
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: loud sex. You think he's a quiet man. He don't
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: watch a lot of TV and he liked jazz. Well,
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: you know, he ain't got even got time to watch TV.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: He got all these women coming through here having sexy
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: way more better than watching ESPN or Netflix.
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: It is, it is.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: And anyway, she called you and won't talk directly to
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: your friend. You ask her to pride out of her
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: and she said it's sexual noise. So I talked to
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: him and said that it's normalst I talked, and he
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: said it's normal sex and the women are enjoying themselves
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: a lot. Oh bet that made her curious. Oh, yeah,
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: you've been twenty years, he been married. He probably was
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: waiting on the opportunity he got divorced. She didn't say
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: she was married, so she might be looking at this
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: as an opportunity for her. And he says normal sex
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: and the women are enjoying themselves a lot. She swallowed
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: real hard when he said that, Gop, and that's all
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: he said. I told him that he's disrupting his neighbor's peace.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: I was shocked to find out that the neighbor is
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: one of the women that has been in his bed.
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: Oh you're talking about the landlord. Oh how you find
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: that out? How did you find that out? I told
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: him that he's being careless and that it's too messy
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: to have sex with the chick next door. Come to
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: find out, she's jealous and has started talking to the
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: women as they leave his house. She recently met one
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: of the ladies in the parking lot at her car
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: and ask her how well she knew my male friend.
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: The neighbor lady told the woman that my friend gave
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: her an STD. Now, ain't that convenient? She trying to
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: stop all these people from coming through there? Now he
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: got STD. This is so messy, and it's my friend's
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: fought for being involved with all these different women. I'm
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: siding with the landlord at this point, and I've asked
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: my friend to stop being so horrish. He warned me
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: to mind my business or our friendship will end. Is
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: this worth ruining our twenty year friendship for what you
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: meant to say was will just now kill all?
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: My shot?
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: I said it was being with this man who is
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: obviously a tremendous level, who's got these women screaming at
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: the top of their lungs and burn their house right.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Here, I don't think.
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: Let me let me write Steven Shirley so I can
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: find out I need to shave my mouth up or
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: I mess up a shot. Should I take my chances
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: and ask him to move out? Or should I mind
- 1:07:17Speaker 7: my business? If you have to ask, should I mind
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: my business? That's probably your answer. You shouldn't mind your business.
- 1:07:28Speaker 7: Now you said something to him. Now maybe he'll do
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: some changes. Maybe he'll have some COVID masks by the
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: bed they can put on. Maybe maybe they don't start
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: doing pillar tricks or something like that, because recently I
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: heard somebody say I'm gonna choke you and that, and
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: then they said, but I don't want to be choked.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: And then he said, you ain't got no choice. So
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: that's out there.
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: Now you need to learn a lot from podcasting time.
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: I'm just saying I've heard that. So you know you
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: can do muffle a hand over the mouth, but then
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: they bite your hand. Then now you holler, see somebody
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: you get, you get win your fingers, bitch, you gonna
- 1:08:12Speaker 7: be hollering. So should she mind her business? Absolutely? Mind
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: your business. You're you're renting this place out to him.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: The landlord is enjoying herself, and come to find out,
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: one of them either the chick to stay next door.
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: The landlord is sleeping with.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: The dude too.
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: Yeah, he living his best life. He done got divorced.
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: Hedne decided, I'm finna get out of here. I'm wilding out.
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: I'm on Nick Cannon's wilding.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: Out wireless and wireless.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: I'm Nick Cannon, DC, Young Fly, I'm everybody.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Wiln.
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: So now, yes, mind your business. Don't do like Shirley did.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: Told you to get all up in here and stuff
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: like here. That's bad advice, lady, mind no busse.
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: That's only because you think the landlord wants him to
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: the best friend. You think she wants him to.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Well, here's the problem.
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: You're gonna lose your friend, and you're gonna have to
- 1:09:16Speaker 7: pay the rent on this place when you put him out.
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: But you say men and women shouldn't be friends anyway.
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: They not friends, Charley, She won't this man, that's what
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: she shit jealous because all these women is gonna stop
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: acting horrorsh I could have been over all this sex.
- 1:09:33Speaker 7: You haven't making all these women have all this No,
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: what is you doing to them?
- 1:09:38Speaker 8: So now she wants to try it, that's what you're saying.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna come over and see what all this Holland
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: is about?
