- 0:00Speaker 1: There is a story that is really interesting that's developing
- 0:03Speaker 1: right now, and that is how the economy is actually
- 0:07Speaker 1: staying resilient even though we have gas prices that have
- 0:10Speaker 1: obviously gone up because of the war and Iran. Now
- 0:14Speaker 1: the media is trying to capitalize on this and saying
- 0:16Speaker 1: that Donald Trump is destroying this country, destroying the middle class,
- 0:19Speaker 1: and therefore you should immediately think that Democrats are going
- 0:23Speaker 1: to help you. Now, let's also just deal with the
- 0:26Speaker 1: reality that Democrats have made it very clear that if
- 0:29Speaker 1: they have it their way, they would actually like to
- 0:31Speaker 1: keep gas prices where they are right now. They want
- 0:34Speaker 1: to force you into their Green New Deal, They want
- 0:37Speaker 1: to force you into an electric vehicle. But because Republicans
- 0:42Speaker 1: are in charge of the House, Senate, in the White House,
- 0:44Speaker 1: they're now saying that these gas prices are horrific, the
- 0:47Speaker 1: same exact gas prices, by the way, that they gave
- 0:51Speaker 1: you for years on end when Barack Obama was president
- 0:56Speaker 1: and also when Joe Biden was president. In fact, it
- 0:59Speaker 1: was the official a policy of the Democratic Party to
- 1:03Speaker 1: make gas prices go as high as they were in Europe,
- 1:06Speaker 1: which translated into six seven, eight nine dollars a gallon
- 1:09Speaker 1: in the United States of America. You also look at
- 1:12Speaker 1: where gas prices are the highest and where if they
- 1:14Speaker 1: really wanted to lower gas prices they could do it.
- 1:17Speaker 2: That's California.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Why is California's gas price so much higher than the
- 1:22Speaker 1: rest of the country. It is because of the massive
- 1:26Speaker 1: amounts of taxes they put on gasoline, trying to force
- 1:30Speaker 1: people in California to basically bow down to the Green
- 1:34Speaker 1: New Deal and to buy an electric vehicle or to
- 1:39Speaker 1: ride share or to do kumbayas stuff. That is their
- 1:43Speaker 1: ultimate goal and their mission. Now, while all that is happening,
- 1:47Speaker 1: there's another part of this story, and that is why
- 1:50Speaker 1: is our economy still holding up under this new pressure.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's actually very simple, and it's a story that the
- 1:57Speaker 1: media is not touching at all. What Donald Trump has
- 2:01Speaker 1: been able to do and you have to go back
- 2:02Speaker 1: to twenty seventeen to understand this is he has transformed
- 2:06Speaker 1: the backbone of this country. How did he do it
- 2:10Speaker 1: by protecting, aiding and supporting small businesses in America. That's
- 2:16Speaker 1: how Donald Trump changed the game with his historic tax cuts.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I want you to make no mistake about it. When
- 2:23Speaker 1: Donald Trump talks about his economic agenda, and he did. Today,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you're talking literally about the most aggressive pro small business
- 2:31Speaker 1: tax revolution that we've seen in modern American history period.
- 2:38Speaker 1: All this started with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Acts
- 2:40Speaker 1: of twenty seventeen. It was a sweeping overhaul of the
- 2:44Speaker 1: tax code that slash taxes across the board and fundamentally
- 2:48Speaker 1: changed how businesses, large and especially small businesses operated. Now,
- 2:54Speaker 1: before those cuts, small businesses especially passed through entities like
- 2:58Speaker 1: LLCs and s corps.
- 3:00Speaker 2: We're getting crushed.
- 3:01Speaker 1: They had high tax rates, they had complex regulations, and
- 3:05Speaker 1: very little incentive to expand their businesses. Then Trump came
- 3:09Speaker 1: in and he said, hey, I want to give you
- 3:11Speaker 1: a better chance to make it. I want more businesses
- 3:13Speaker 1: to succeed than to fail, and we're going to let
- 3:15Speaker 1: you keep more of your money so that you can
- 3:17Speaker 1: make it through tough times when you're starting a business
- 3:20Speaker 1: and flourish when you actually start making money. What happened boom.
- 3:26Speaker 1: The tax rates then dropped, deductions expanded, the incentives to
- 3:31Speaker 1: invest skyrocketed. Now we're talking about lower marginal rates, we're
- 3:37Speaker 1: talking about immediate expenses for equipment, and massive incentives to
- 3:42Speaker 1: hire and grow your company. The results are clear, not
- 3:47Speaker 1: only are economists saying that not only did GDP show
- 3:51Speaker 1: increase and employment rose significantly because you had stronger incentives
- 3:55Speaker 1: for business to invest and expand that was the real
- 3:58Speaker 1: world impact. Small business owners suddenly had more cash flow,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that meant more hiring, that meant better wages, I mean
- 4:06Speaker 1: expansion and taking bigger risks instead of just being in
- 4:09Speaker 1: survival mode, which we witnessed during the Obama years. And
- 4:13Speaker 1: then Trump doubled down in his second term on what
- 4:16Speaker 1: he laid that groundwork for in twenty seventeen. He had
- 4:20Speaker 1: more political power, he believed coming in, and he said
- 4:24Speaker 1: tax relief was a mandate for working Americans and small
- 4:27Speaker 1: businesses alike. He did things that no one thought about.
- 4:32Speaker 1: One of those that now we're seeing the real world
- 4:34Speaker 1: effects of it was this no tax on tips. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: when you think about who that hits waiters, bartenders, service workers,
- 4:44Speaker 1: hotel staff, dealers at a casino, millions of Americans, valet drivers,
- 4:51Speaker 1: for example, they rely uber drivers, lyft drivers actually rely
- 4:55Speaker 1: on tips to survive. And what Donald Trump said is
- 4:59Speaker 1: these people were working hard. We need to give them
- 5:02Speaker 1: a chance to succeed and to grow and to maybe
- 5:05Speaker 1: move away from those jobs down the road and start
- 5:07Speaker 1: their own businesses. Many of those workers can deduct tens
- 5:11Speaker 1: of thousands of dollars in tip income from federal taxes.
- 5:15Speaker 1: That's incredible. We've already seen an instant impact. Again, the
- 5:19Speaker 1: media doesn't want you to know this. We're talking millions
- 5:23Speaker 1: of workers that are benefiting, some already getting refunds of
- 5:27Speaker 1: up to eight thousand dollars.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Let's be clear.
- 5:30Speaker 1: That's an eight thousand dollar rays for Americans that need
- 5:33Speaker 1: it the most.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And here's the key that you need to understand.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Not only does this help small businesses in the service
- 5:40Speaker 1: industry retain employees, it helps them fill jobs. It helps
- 5:45Speaker 1: them also stay competitive. Now you layer in the next
- 5:49Speaker 1: thing that the President did no taxes on overtime or
- 5:53Speaker 1: at least major deductions. Under the current law, workers can
- 5:57Speaker 1: deduct up to twelve thousand, five hundred in overtime income
- 6:01Speaker 1: are twenty five thousand for families. What does that mean
- 6:05Speaker 1: instead of being punished for working even harder Americans are
- 6:08Speaker 1: now being rewarded for it. And again, this directly benefited
- 6:13Speaker 1: small businesses. Because employees are now more willing to take
- 6:17Speaker 1: up extra hours, businesses can scale up production without the
- 6:22Speaker 1: same labor resistance, and during holiday and special seasons, because
- 6:27Speaker 1: other people that work for the company are saying, yeah,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I want the extra hours because I don't have to
- 6:31Speaker 1: pay tax on that overtime in September, October, November, or
- 6:35Speaker 1: whatever time of year when that business gets busy. It's
- 6:38Speaker 1: a win win for the small business, it's a win
- 6:41Speaker 1: win for the employee. And here's the stat that should
- 6:44Speaker 1: blow everyone away. Nearly thirty million Americans, we now understand,
- 6:51Speaker 1: have already taken advantage of these tip and overtime tax breaks.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Thirty million. That's not small little policy. It's a nationwide
- 7:02Speaker 1: economic shift because of Donald Trump. Now, if you zoom
- 7:07Speaker 1: out and you look at the bigger picture, as Democrats
- 7:09Speaker 1: are still trying to convince you that everything's terrible, it's
- 7:11Speaker 1: all doom and gloom, Trump's strategy has been really simple,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but extremely effective and powerful. You cut taxes, you literally
- 7:20Speaker 1: just say I'm gonna let people keep their harder money
- 7:23Speaker 1: that they're working hard for. I'm going to make it
- 7:25Speaker 1: easier to hire, I'm gonna make it easier for businesses
- 7:28Speaker 1: to grow, and I'm gonna let the economy do what
- 7:31Speaker 1: it does best. And small businesses They're the biggest winners
- 7:34Speaker 1: in all this, not corporate America, not the billionaires, as
- 7:37Speaker 1: democrats that want to DEMONI. By the way, billionaires are
- 7:40Speaker 1: the ones that employ the most people in this country.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We shouldn't demonize successful big businesses. They give amazing jobs
- 7:48Speaker 1: and usually amazing benefits. But small businesses employ people everywhere
- 7:53Speaker 1: in anybody towns, moms and pops. This is what you
- 7:57Speaker 1: need because look small all businesses. They don't have an
- 8:01Speaker 1: army of accountants like the big boys do to get
- 8:03Speaker 1: the best tax benefits. They don't have massive corporate buffers.
- 8:07Speaker 1: When taxes go down, they feel it immediately, and by
- 8:10Speaker 1: the way, when tax go up, they feel it immediately.
- 8:12Speaker 1: And when taxes go down, that's more inventory. That's the
- 8:17Speaker 1: idea of even a new location or expanding their hours.
- 8:20Speaker 1: That's the difference between firing a worker, laying off a worker,
- 8:24Speaker 1: staying stagnant, or hiring a new worker. You go from
- 8:28Speaker 1: survival into turning it into success. Now Democrats are saying
- 8:35Speaker 1: they don't like this. Why because it's igniting the economic
- 8:38Speaker 1: activity from the ground up, not from the top down.
- 8:42Speaker 1: This isn't government bureaucratic spending. This is literally outside the government,
- 8:46Speaker 1: bottom up growth. It's been driven by real small businesses
- 8:50Speaker 1: and real hard working Americans. And that's exactly why now
- 8:54Speaker 1: you're seeing the media refuse to cover this. You look
- 8:58Speaker 1: at the economy right now, there's no doubt that the
- 9:01Speaker 1: higher gas prices are a real thing, and it's certainly
- 9:04Speaker 1: not what we all want, but it's an important thing
- 9:07Speaker 1: because of national security. But small businesses, because of what
- 9:11Speaker 1: President Trump has already done, they're able to handle this
- 9:14Speaker 1: right now because of the Trump tax cuts. Now, the
- 9:19Speaker 1: president also understands something else small businesses. And I'm a
- 9:24Speaker 1: small business owner. We invest when we know that the
- 9:27Speaker 1: environment is stable, when it's pro growth, when it's real.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So when you hear Donald Trump come out talking about
- 9:33Speaker 1: these tax cuts, the Trump tax cuts, they don't just
- 9:37Speaker 1: think about Wall Street at the White House. They're thinking
- 9:39Speaker 1: about the small restaurant owner, to think about that contractor,
- 9:43Speaker 1: they're thinking about that single mom working overtime shifts to
- 9:46Speaker 1: make ends meet. To think about that single dad who's
- 9:49Speaker 1: doing everything you can to give us kids a better life.
- 9:51Speaker 1: They're thinking literally about millions of Americans who are finally
- 9:54Speaker 1: being told from our government, you earned it, Guess what
- 9:57Speaker 1: you get to keep it. And that's that's why this
- 10:00Speaker 1: tax agenda is such a deadly policy to the Democratic Party.
- 10:06Speaker 1: The Democratic Party is filled now with communists, socialists, and Marxists.
- 10:11Speaker 1: This is a fundamental shift that destroys what they're selling
- 10:15Speaker 1: when you say to Americans, hey, we want to reward work.
- 10:20Speaker 1: We want you to be rewarded with success. We want
- 10:23Speaker 1: people who power this economy every single day to wake
- 10:27Speaker 1: up the next day, excite and hungary to do it again. Now,
- 10:32Speaker 1: the President hosted a really cool event, small Business Summit,
- 10:38Speaker 1: at the White House. You're going to remember this voice
- 10:41Speaker 1: if you ever watched the show Pond Stars. Rick Harrison's
- 10:44Speaker 1: a guy that is actually really cool. He's a guy
- 10:46Speaker 1: that is in the embodiment of I call it the
- 10:49Speaker 1: success story of a small business owner in Vegas. He
- 10:52Speaker 1: has become a reality TV star with that show Pond Stars.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And he was speaking at the Small Business Summit, and
- 10:59Speaker 1: I want you to hear part of what he had
- 11:01Speaker 1: to say.
- 11:02Speaker 3: I just want to say, he's amazing. He's done so much.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I mean so much for all of us. I mean,
- 11:07Speaker 3: the backbone of this country is small business, plain and simple,
- 11:10Speaker 3: and the last guy in office all you know, all
- 11:14Speaker 3: we heard was is that we were the evil people,
- 11:16Speaker 3: we were the bad people. Everything else like that we
- 11:18Speaker 3: don't pay our fair share whatever that's supposed to be.
- 11:22Speaker 2: And he made it tough.
- 11:23Speaker 3: And this guy, the Big Beautiful Bill, absolutely amazing, you
- 11:26Speaker 3: know what I mean, God bless you for letting me
- 11:29Speaker 3: get one dent appreciation.
- 11:30Speaker 2: It really helps out.
- 11:32Speaker 3: And all I can say is this is literally, I mean,
- 11:35Speaker 3: I'm a history buff and I know a lot about
- 11:37Speaker 3: this White House thing and everything. Literally, he's going to
- 11:39Speaker 3: go down as maybe the best president ever.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I love this guy.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Short sweets and to the point, Wow, you here the
- 11:53Speaker 1: present there and he smiles, he says, pretty good, pretty good.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Wow.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Why is the president doing this moment? Because he won
- 12:00Speaker 1: people to remember exactly what's happening. The President also was
- 12:04Speaker 1: reminding and of course the media is not going to
- 12:07Speaker 1: cover this. That's why I hope you'll share this show
- 12:09Speaker 1: the podcast wherever you can. But the President detailed hows
- 12:13Speaker 1: historic tax cuts have helped American small businesses.
- 12:16Speaker 2: In his own words, listen to this.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Last summer, I proudly signed the Great, Big Beautiful Bill,
- 12:23Speaker 4: the largest tax cuts in the history of our country,
- 12:26Speaker 4: and boosting millions of small businesses, boosting millions of small businesses.
- 12:39Speaker 4: We passed no tax on tips, no tax on overtime,
- 12:43Speaker 4: and no tax on social security for our seniors. That's
- 12:47Speaker 4: big stuff. And we add that to the package that
- 12:50Speaker 4: we approved. In my first term. We had the best
- 12:53Speaker 4: financial years and the history of our country my first term,
- 12:56Speaker 4: and I think we're going to blow them away this term.
- 12:59Speaker 4: You know, in this term, we have eighteen trillion dollars
- 13:01Speaker 4: being invested in our country. And if you look at
- 13:05Speaker 4: the last administration, they had less than one trillion dollars
- 13:08Speaker 4: for four years. We have eighteen trillion during eleven month.
- 13:11Speaker 4: The twelve month hasn't come in yet in terms of
- 13:13Speaker 4: the numbers, but in eleven months eighteen trillion dollars investments.
- 13:19Speaker 4: We have auto plants being built all over the country.
- 13:22Speaker 4: AI plans we're doing and we're leading China in AI.
- 13:26Speaker 4: And I'm going to go see presidency in two weeks.
- 13:28Speaker 4: I look forward to that, but I'll say I'm leading
- 13:31Speaker 4: were going. We have we have very friendly competition, but
- 13:37Speaker 4: it'll be actually it'll be a very important trip. We
- 13:40Speaker 4: provided one hundred percent expensing and bonus appreciation, which is tremendous.
- 13:46Speaker 4: One of the biggest things that you have. I mean,
- 13:49Speaker 4: people have no idea how big that is. The businesses
- 13:51Speaker 4: do so that businesses can deduct one hundred percent of
- 13:55Speaker 4: the cost of new facilities, equipment, and capital investment in
- 13:59Speaker 4: the first year. Used to take thirty eight years of deduction.
- 14:02Speaker 4: Now you get it done in one. You can take
- 14:04Speaker 4: one so you can expand. I think that's what made
- 14:06Speaker 4: us so successful in the first term. But now we
- 14:09Speaker 4: have it for a ten year period, so you have
- 14:11Speaker 4: it for a while. I really was going to make
- 14:13Speaker 4: it for one year period. That would mean you spend
- 14:15Speaker 4: all your money immediately. Now, unfortunately I gave you too
- 14:18Speaker 4: much time. I was sort of against that. I said,
- 14:21Speaker 4: let's do it for a short period of time. But
- 14:23Speaker 4: we did it.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It's a right thing.
- 14:25Speaker 4: And this way, when I get out of office in
- 14:28Speaker 4: let's say eight or nine years from that, I'll be
- 14:32Speaker 4: able to use it. I'll be able to use it
- 14:34Speaker 4: for it.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You're going to hear the president there obviously trolling the
- 14:40Speaker 1: media with his when he leaves office seven eight years ago.
- 14:43Speaker 1: That's all they'll hear. That's all they'll lose their minds about.
- 14:47Speaker 1: That's all they'll report on. So let's be clear what
- 14:51Speaker 1: President Trump is doing these tax cuts. It isn't just policy.
- 14:54Speaker 1: It's a direct investment in the American worker and the
- 14:59Speaker 1: small business is that keep this country alive. Goes back
- 15:02Speaker 1: to what the Pawn Stars show star Lily was saying,
- 15:06Speaker 1: He's helping small businesses survive. Washington, by the way, is
- 15:11Speaker 1: the one that's been punishing small business success. They taxed
- 15:15Speaker 1: over time, they tax tips, They made it harder to grow,
- 15:17Speaker 1: they made it harder to hire and harder to get ahead.
- 15:21Speaker 1: And Trump said, hey, I've owned businesses, a lot of them,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and I'm going to flip the script.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And now if you work harder, you're rewarded for it.
- 15:27Speaker 2: You keep more, you.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Earn tips, you do great in service industry, you keep them,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you put it over time, You're rewarded, not penalized. That's
- 15:37Speaker 1: not just tax reform, that's respect for the worker in
- 15:40Speaker 1: this country. And guess what the result is, more hiring,
- 15:45Speaker 1: bigger paychecks, stronger small business success instead of them failing,
- 15:50Speaker 1: their succeeding, and an economy that actually works for the people,
- 15:53Speaker 1: not Washington, DC and the bureaucrats that want to take more.
- 15:58Speaker 1: This is why the media won't cover the story. This
- 16:03Speaker 1: is what pro growth leadership looks like in real time.
- 16:07Speaker 1: This is what putting Americans first actually looks like when
- 16:11Speaker 1: it becomes a policy. And for millions of Americans. I
- 16:16Speaker 1: mentioned the number earlier. Thirty million Americans have already taken
- 16:20Speaker 1: advantage of the no tax on tips and no tax
- 16:23Speaker 1: on overtime, and that number will grow. These Americans are
- 16:28Speaker 1: feeling the difference in their paychecks, They're also feeling the
- 16:31Speaker 1: difference in their future, which means they have more confidence
- 16:36Speaker 1: in this country, more confident in the ability to say
- 16:39Speaker 1: yes to their kids' dreams and to experiences and to
- 16:44Speaker 1: trips instead of no. So let me be clear, I
- 16:48Speaker 1: really want the war to wrap up very soon in Iran.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I want these gas prices to go down. I understand
- 16:57Speaker 1: how important it is for the midterms. I understand how
- 17:01Speaker 1: important it is that we get them down so that
- 17:03Speaker 1: we don't lose and we win. I also understand that
- 17:07Speaker 1: it was an important thing that the president need to do,
- 17:10Speaker 1: and it was a national security issue full stop. And
- 17:16Speaker 1: what the President of the United States of America is
- 17:18Speaker 1: now doing is he's doing the hard thing while also
- 17:23Speaker 1: doing everything he can to help America thrive. Isn't that
- 17:28Speaker 1: what we voted for? Isn't that what we all really
- 17:33Speaker 1: really wanted. So I'll say it again, this is the
- 17:37Speaker 1: story that needs to be told. This is the story
- 17:41Speaker 1: that everyone needs to be excited about. This is the
- 17:46Speaker 1: story that we're going to have to tell going into
- 17:49Speaker 1: the midterms so that it isn't a disaster because of
- 17:52Speaker 1: the narrative being sold to the American people by the left.
- 17:56Speaker 1: So I hope you'll take this data, the stats, the
- 17:59Speaker 1: good news. I hope you'll share it with everyone you know,
- 18:03Speaker 1: because this is the story that has to be told,
- 18:06Speaker 1: because if it isn't, there's no doubt the Democrats will
- 18:10Speaker 1: win an election day. The Department of Justice has now
- 18:14Speaker 1: launched a federal civil rights investigation to Fairfax County Commonwealth
- 18:20Speaker 1: Attorney Steve Descano. Now you need to remember that name.
- 18:25Speaker 1: This is one of the prized Soros DA's and now
- 18:30Speaker 1: what we're learning is a Fairfax County DA did everything
- 18:35Speaker 1: they could do to protect illegal immigrants. The allegations are
- 18:41Speaker 1: truly explosive. Federal investigators now say they're examining whether one
- 18:46Speaker 1: of the most powerful progressive prosecutors in Virginia was deliberately
- 18:51Speaker 1: giving preferential treatment to i legal immigrants accused of violent
- 18:56Speaker 1: crimes against American citizens, and the victims, well, you guessed it,
- 19:01Speaker 1: they were left behind. Now, this is the DOJ's Civil
- 19:05Speaker 1: Rights Division that's stepping in and saying they want to
- 19:08Speaker 1: determine whether the man's office violated federal law by allegedly
- 19:13Speaker 1: offering preferential treatment only to illegal alien criminal defendants. I'm
- 19:19Speaker 1: going to say that again an activist DA and the
- 19:22Speaker 1: Civil Rights Division is now looking into Scano's office saying,
- 19:26Speaker 1: it looks like you were only offering preferential treatment to
- 19:31Speaker 1: illegal immigrants non American citizens if you are a criminal defendant.
- 19:37Speaker 1: This is what happens when you allow activist das to
- 19:40Speaker 1: take over. And this is exactly what the Democrats and
- 19:44Speaker 1: George Soros wanted and what they paid for. Now let
- 19:48Speaker 1: me go into exactly what's being alleged here. The Justice
- 19:52Speaker 1: Department is saying that in Fairfax County, it was pretty
- 19:56Speaker 1: clear that those that had illegal immigrants status who committed
- 20:01Speaker 1: crimes and they were defendants, were given preferential treatment. The
- 20:07Speaker 1: DOJ goes on to say it is specifically investigating plea bargains.
- 20:12Speaker 1: That's how they were hooking up the illegal immigrants charging
- 20:15Speaker 1: decisions as well and sentencing recommendations coming out of Descano's
- 20:21Speaker 1: office at the center of the controversy, as a policy
- 20:25Speaker 1: reportedly adopted in twenty twenty directing prosecutors to consider the
- 20:30Speaker 1: quote immigration consequences that defendants could face, including deportation, when
- 20:38Speaker 1: deciding how aggressively to prosecute cases. So to be clear,
- 20:43Speaker 1: in translation, you had an office that said, Hey, if
- 20:47Speaker 1: you're an illegal immigrant, we're going to go easier on
- 20:50Speaker 1: you than an American citizen because we don't want you
- 20:54Speaker 1: to be deported. We want to make sure that we
- 20:57Speaker 1: can go easier on you so that it's well easier
- 21:01Speaker 1: for you to stay in the United States of America.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yes, this is absolutely insane, but this.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Is exactly what you should expect from activist das now.
- 21:11Speaker 1: The DOJ also is specifically investigating the plea bargains that
- 21:16Speaker 1: were given as well, saying that they were clearly given
- 21:19Speaker 1: outside the guidelines that other American citizens were having to
- 21:23Speaker 1: play by. So imagine you commit a crime, Imagine you're
- 21:26Speaker 1: an American citizen. Imagine you get years in jail, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: then you find out someone else does the same exact crime.
- 21:34Speaker 1: But they're different because they broke into the United States
- 21:38Speaker 1: of America.
- 21:39Speaker 2: And when they broke.
- 21:40Speaker 1: In, well, we didn't want to get them out of
- 21:42Speaker 1: this country. We didn't want to deport them. So instead
- 21:45Speaker 1: we gave them a deal that offered them maybe even
- 21:48Speaker 1: no jail time at all, or a plea bargain that
- 21:52Speaker 1: allowed them to walk free that day while you're in jail.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That is exactly what the Department of Justice is now saying. Now,
- 21:59Speaker 1: let me also be very clear about this as well.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Every defendant deserves constitutional protections, every person deserves due process.
- 22:09Speaker 2: That's what the DOJ said.
- 22:10Speaker 1: But the question now being raised by the Department of
- 22:13Speaker 1: Justice whether Fairfax County crossed a massive line from equal
- 22:18Speaker 1: justice under the law into a two tier justice system
- 22:22Speaker 1: that held Americans accountable while allowing illegal immigrants to walk free.
- 22:27Speaker 1: And that is where Americans should become furious, especially at
- 22:32Speaker 1: George Soros and the Democratic Party. If two people commit
- 22:36Speaker 1: the same violent crime, the DJ says, but prosecutors intentionally
- 22:40Speaker 1: go easier on one defendant because they're in the country
- 22:43Speaker 1: illegally and might face deportation. Many Americans hear this and say,
- 22:49Speaker 1: wait a second, how is that fair? To a citizen.
- 22:52Speaker 1: How is that also fair to the victims? The Assistant
- 22:56Speaker 1: Attorney General made the administration's position crystal clear when she's said, quote,
- 23:01Speaker 1: under my leadership, the Civil Rights Division will not allow
- 23:04Speaker 1: local prosecutors to pick and choose winners based on their
- 23:09Speaker 1: immigration status. Now, this is a remarkable statement, by the way,
- 23:13Speaker 1: coming from the federal government. And that's what's making this
- 23:16Speaker 1: story even more politically explosive. Are the violent crimes that
- 23:21Speaker 1: are now being connected to the policies of this activist
- 23:26Speaker 1: da Let me give you an example. One case that
- 23:30Speaker 1: you need to know about is the murder of Stephanie Minterter,
- 23:34Speaker 1: a Virginia woman. She was stabbed to death at a
- 23:37Speaker 1: Fairfax County bus stop earlier this year. The suspect was
- 23:41Speaker 1: reportedly in the country illegally, also had a lengthy criminal history,
- 23:47Speaker 1: including more than thirty arrests. This according to the Department
- 23:51Speaker 1: of Homeland Security information that's been cited in the reports. Now,
- 23:56Speaker 1: they argue that progressive prosecutors and sanctuary style policies repeatedly
- 24:02Speaker 1: allowed this dangerous individual to be arrested more than thirty
- 24:06Speaker 1: times and cycled through the system without meaningful consequences until
- 24:11Speaker 1: the American paid the ultimate price being murdered. Another case,
- 24:16Speaker 1: by the way, that the DOJ is pointing to as well,
- 24:19Speaker 1: that has sparked outrage involved two undocumented migrants that were
- 24:24Speaker 1: convicted in the mob killing of Hernandez Gonzales. They ultimately
- 24:30Speaker 1: received plea agreements that resulted in just five years behind
- 24:34Speaker 1: bars after much of their sentences were suspended. Descano's office
- 24:39Speaker 1: defended the deal by citing evidentiary challenges and witness cooperation issues,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but critics blasted the punishment is absurd and lenient for
- 24:49Speaker 1: such a horrific crime of a mob killing, and those
- 24:53Speaker 1: aren't isolated examples either. The DOJ is reportedly examining whether
- 24:58Speaker 1: it is a broader pattern or even a practice of
- 25:02Speaker 1: his criminatory prosecutor conduct where illegal immigrants always were getting
- 25:07Speaker 1: the deal. Now it's important language legally because it suggests
- 25:11Speaker 1: that federal officials maybe looking beyond one or two controversial
- 25:15Speaker 1: plea deals and asking whether this was an institutional policy altogether. Now, politically,
- 25:22Speaker 1: the story hits directly at one of the biggest national
- 25:25Speaker 1: debates in this country, and that is exactly why Donald
- 25:28Speaker 1: Trump was elected. The President made it clear he was
- 25:31Speaker 1: going to go after the illegal immigrants. Democrats have made
- 25:34Speaker 1: it clear they will protect them at all costs, and
- 25:37Speaker 1: over the last decade we've seen a wave of left
- 25:40Speaker 1: wing prosecutors that have been backed by activist money that
- 25:44Speaker 1: has transformed criminal justice policy in major jurisdictions across the US.
- 25:49Speaker 1: This guy, Steve Disconano, became one of the most recognizable
- 25:54Speaker 1: figures in that movement after winning office in twenty nineteen.
- 25:58Speaker 1: He had substantial support from groups tied to the billionaire
- 26:02Speaker 1: donor George Soros. Now, the philosophy behind many of these
- 26:05Speaker 1: prosecutors focus on reducing incarceration, eliminating cash bell, lowering penalties
- 26:12Speaker 1: for certain crimes, and emphasizing quote alternatives to prosecution. Supporters
- 26:19Speaker 1: they called it reform. Critics they called it anarchy, and
- 26:24Speaker 1: it was surrendering and bowing down to the criminals. Well,
- 26:27Speaker 1: now the federal government is effectively saying, did some of
- 26:30Speaker 1: these reforms go so far that prosecutors deliberately were discriminating
- 26:36Speaker 1: against American citizens? That is the heart of the question
- 26:40Speaker 1: of this entire investigation. Now, there's also another major political
- 26:44Speaker 1: wrinkle here, and it comes as Fairfax County officials are
- 26:47Speaker 1: preparing to testify before Congress at a hearing that is
- 26:51Speaker 1: now titled Fairfax County, Virginia The Dangerous Consequences of Sanctuary Policies.
- 26:57Speaker 1: That means that this story is no longer just local
- 26:59Speaker 1: Virginia politics. This is now a national immigration in public
- 27:03Speaker 1: safety fight. Republicans are already framing Fairfax County as a
- 27:08Speaker 1: symbol of what happens when ideology overrides law enforcement. They
- 27:14Speaker 1: argue that local leaders became so obsessed with shielding illegal
- 27:18Speaker 1: immigrants from deportation that they compromise public safety in the
- 27:22Speaker 1: process countless times in Democrats, well, they're firing back, of course,
- 27:27Speaker 1: accusing the Trump DOJ of weaponizing federal power, they say,
- 27:31Speaker 1: against progressive prosecutors for political purpose. Now that's going to
- 27:36Speaker 1: become a major national argument moving forward, and this will
- 27:40Speaker 1: be a national story. But politically, the optics here are
- 27:44Speaker 1: devastating for the Democrats because the DOJ didn't open this
- 27:48Speaker 1: investigation over parking tickets or minor prosecutor disagreements. They opened
- 27:53Speaker 1: it over allegations involving violent criminals, homicide cases, assault out delegations,
- 28:01Speaker 1: and questions about whether prosecutors intentionally deliberately reduced immigration consequences
- 28:08Speaker 1: for illegal immigrants accused of major and serious crimes, including murder. Now,
- 28:15Speaker 1: for millions of Americans listening to this right now, it's
- 28:18Speaker 1: a simple story. Why honors should immigrants and immigration status
- 28:24Speaker 1: ever result in lighter treatment for violent offenders just because
- 28:29Speaker 1: you're here illegally? Why should American citizens believe the justice
- 28:33Speaker 1: system treats them equally if prosecutors deliberately are instructed to
- 28:38Speaker 1: weigh deportation concerns before seeking punishment for crimes have been committed.
- 28:44Speaker 1: And perhaps more importantly than that, how many tragedies could
- 28:48Speaker 1: have been prevented if dangerous repeat offenders have been prosecuted
- 28:54Speaker 1: the way the law said they should have been prosecuted
- 28:57Speaker 1: from the very start, or, in other words, there's the
- 28:59Speaker 1: way that an American citizens would have been prosecuted from
- 29:02Speaker 1: the very beginning. Now, Democrats are going to fight back.
- 29:07Speaker 1: They're going to say that these policies were fair and
- 29:10Speaker 1: legal and reflect the values of their community. It doesn't
- 29:13Speaker 1: mean that you get to give preferential treatment to illegal immigrants,
- 29:17Speaker 1: which brings us back to this. The DOJ ultimately concluded
- 29:22Speaker 1: that immigration status was used to systematically alter prosecutoral decisions
- 29:29Speaker 1: in a discriminatory way against every American citizen. Now, this
- 29:34Speaker 1: case could easily become one of the most consequential legal
- 29:38Speaker 1: and political fights over immigration and criminal justice in decades.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And really, this is why Americans need to pay attention,
- 29:46Speaker 1: because what the Trump administration is doing now is saying
- 29:49Speaker 1: that Americans shouldn't be put behind illegal immigrants ever, and
- 29:54Speaker 1: certainly illegal immigrants shouldn't be able to get away from
- 29:57Speaker 1: justice because some woke activists. Democrat Krad says, we don't
- 30:01Speaker 1: want them to be deported. Make sure you share this
