- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all suit all looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bu things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve Hartley Joy, you gotta use that
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn be hurting. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out, the water, the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, uh huh. I show will a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Well, nothing changes about that. Nothing changes about that. Man.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I was just so getting ready to come on to
- 2:20Speaker 1: air this morning. I was just thinking, man, I was
- 2:25Speaker 1: just having a reflective moment of just how really good
- 2:29Speaker 1: God has been to me. I just it's it's it's man.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Let me just say that again, how really good God
- 2:39Speaker 1: has been to me. And here's a cold part. In
- 2:43Speaker 1: spite of myself, you understand, in spite of all my shortcomings,
- 2:49Speaker 1: in spite of all of my flaws and and and
- 2:53Speaker 1: and in spite of all of what anybody has said
- 2:56Speaker 1: about me, God, through his grace and mercy, just keeps
- 3:01Speaker 1: me anyway. So many of us are exceptional people, but
- 3:09Speaker 1: we refuse to just go ahead and be exceptional. We
- 3:16Speaker 1: settle for the ordinary, We follow the pack, We try
- 3:22Speaker 1: to fit in. Man, oh man, oh man, You know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I've heard my wife say this to my children all
- 3:28Speaker 1: the time when she's scolding them and talking to him.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Should be talking to him about leadership. You know, why
- 3:34Speaker 1: are you following everybody when God clearly made you to lead?
- 3:37Speaker 1: So many of us are born, and so many of
- 3:40Speaker 1: you are born to be exceptional people, but we always
- 3:45Speaker 1: trying to follow the pack. Why would you try to
- 3:48Speaker 1: fit in? Why would you try to be like everybody
- 3:54Speaker 1: else be ordinary? Why would you follow the pack when
- 3:58Speaker 1: God has created you to be exceptional? The key word
- 4:03Speaker 1: in exceptional is except you. Ever you ever done this?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Right here? You know, everybody did that accept me. Everybody
- 4:12Speaker 1: felt that way except me. Everybody said that except me.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Everybody won't wanted that. Accept me. Everybody went over that
- 4:23Speaker 1: except me. Everybody jumped in except me, accept me. See
- 4:31Speaker 1: why have you saying that in your life? If you
- 4:34Speaker 1: were not to be exceptional? See you got to say
- 4:38Speaker 1: everybody accept me at one point in You'll to I
- 4:40Speaker 1: don't know who ain't done it? You know, everybody wanted.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Everybody voted no except me? See it? So you're not
- 4:49Speaker 1: You're not created to follow the pack. You ain't created
- 4:52Speaker 1: to fit in. You ain't created to h you know,
- 4:56Speaker 1: to be ordinary. You will create it to be exceptional,
- 5:00Speaker 1: as exceptional as your fingerprint on your finger is. You
- 5:04Speaker 1: were created to be exceptional. Why not make this the
- 5:07Speaker 1: year that you go ahead on and be exceptional? Why
- 5:12Speaker 1: won't this be the year that you decide in your mind?
- 5:16Speaker 1: But just has to be a decision that we make.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Now we're not following the pack no more. We're not
- 5:21Speaker 1: trying to fit in no more. We ain't settling for
- 5:25Speaker 1: ordinary no more. We're gonna be exceptional. But you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: you got you got to go ahead and follow that.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You got to get on the exceptional path because that's
- 5:33Speaker 1: what you were created for. Why be ordinary? You know?
- 5:37Speaker 1: But all of this this comes to it has to
- 5:39Speaker 1: start with a thought. You got to first think something
- 5:45Speaker 1: thought to become things. A man is as he thinketh
- 5:49Speaker 1: that's all you will ever be. So what are your
- 5:53Speaker 1: thoughts today? Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Why not have exceptional thoughts instead of fitting me in thoughts?
- 6:01Speaker 1: So why you want to be like everybody else? Why
- 6:04Speaker 1: you want to be ordinary when you could possibly be
- 6:06Speaker 1: extraordinary with a change of your mind, a change of
- 6:10Speaker 1: your venue, And you don't have to be any other
- 6:13Speaker 1: kind of way just because my mama was this way,
- 6:16Speaker 1: my daddy was this way, or this the school I
- 6:19Speaker 1: went to? This? What race I belong to? This is
- 6:22Speaker 1: my sexual preference, this is my this, this is my daddy?
- 6:25Speaker 1: How many? How many? How many excuses you need? I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: an excuse? What? What? What? What? You? What's it gonna
- 6:31Speaker 1: be this year that we let another three hundred and
- 6:35Speaker 1: sixty five days slip by without improving our condition, our place,
- 6:39Speaker 1: our spot, our life, the quality of life we have.
- 6:44Speaker 1: We cannot afford to keep letting all these years go
- 6:49Speaker 1: by without changing. You're an exceptional person. How many times
- 6:56Speaker 1: have you set up and said, everybody did that accept me?
- 7:00Speaker 1: You know I was only everybody jumped in accept me.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I told him I knew it. Everybody voted for that,
- 7:07Speaker 1: accept me, And now look at it, man, it seemed
- 7:11Speaker 1: like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay, do you
- 7:17Speaker 1: get it? Do you understand what's being said to you
- 7:22Speaker 1: that a't accept me is because couldn't it be because
- 7:25Speaker 1: you're an exceptional person, and it's time for you to
- 7:28Speaker 1: take control of that. It's time for you to start
- 7:31Speaker 1: thinking different. It's time for you to start acting on
- 7:34Speaker 1: what you think. It's time for you to start doing
- 7:36Speaker 1: something about it. It's time for you to stop taking
- 7:39Speaker 1: each and every day that God gives us for granted
- 7:42Speaker 1: and letting them go by the wayside like you got
- 7:45Speaker 1: plenty more. You may have plenty of mode, but guess
- 7:48Speaker 1: what what you wasting the ones you got for? I
- 7:52Speaker 1: got you young, and you and you feel like you're
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna live forever. Okay, cool, But let me ask you something.
- 7:58Speaker 1: See here here here, go to hard about pose you
- 8:01Speaker 1: do live? See see, everybody will about dying. But I
- 8:04Speaker 1: got news for you. Suppose you keep on living. You
- 8:07Speaker 1: want to keep living in the condition you in now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the money you got now.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: the the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:25Speaker 1: your life. Problem ain't dying, It's problem is if you
- 8:28Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living just
- 8:31Speaker 1: the way they are right now? And if you could
- 8:34Speaker 1: say I'm cool with I am just the way I
- 8:36Speaker 1: am right now, in cool, this conversation ain't for you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know, you
- 8:42Speaker 1: want to say, greatness ain't for everybody. Being exceptional, ain't
- 8:46Speaker 1: for everybody. Becoming extraordinary, ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 8:51Speaker 1: ain't fun everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 8:55Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence in
- 8:58Speaker 1: your ordinary life all you want, and that's fine and dandy.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. Because some people
- 9:04Speaker 1: just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack,
- 9:08Speaker 1: follow the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But if you're not that person, if you want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional, if you
- 9:18Speaker 1: want to be if you want to dad or be
- 9:19Speaker 1: great at something, and you got to change your mind set.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You got to get with your creating, find out what
- 9:25Speaker 1: he created you fault. You gotta quit thinking of things
- 9:28Speaker 1: just in your own thought process, you know, lean not
- 9:31Speaker 1: to your own understanding. I don't know what that is,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but it's in there somewhere seeing. Once you lean, if
- 9:37Speaker 1: you lean to your own understanding, you know what it's
- 9:39Speaker 1: gonna do. It's gonna limit you, man, it's gonna limit you.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why not see what God got for you. I would
- 9:46Speaker 1: rather know what God got for me than to think
- 9:48Speaker 1: of all the things I could because I can't out
- 9:50Speaker 1: think him out and tried it before. All right, it's
- 9:53Speaker 1: just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening. Good morning everybody, even to Steve
- 10:04Speaker 1: hard and Money to show you about to be uplifted,
- 10:07Speaker 1: lad have a good time. Some ignorance will throw that in.
- 10:11Speaker 1: We'll throw what we're gonna throw a lot of ignorance in.
- 10:13Speaker 1: That's right, starting with me. But I'm not gonna do
- 10:16Speaker 1: it by myself. Charla Strawberry will not be ignorant part,
- 10:23Speaker 1: but I love me some good old ignorance now coming on.
- 10:28Speaker 1: You will not get any ignorance from this lady. That
- 10:30Speaker 1: will be color for rel y'all. What's up? What's up,
- 10:35Speaker 1: ignorant man? Okay, the next two coming up will be
- 10:41Speaker 1: you'll get a full dose of ignorance from these people
- 10:44Speaker 1: right here. That will be junior in the house. What's up, Junior?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Can we talking about a full play? That ignorance? Alright?
- 10:55Speaker 1: And last but not least, the gravy of ignorance will
- 10:59Speaker 1: be my main man, the king of pranks, that king,
- 11:04Speaker 1: he is the King of prank. Mister nephew, Timmy, what's up, Timmy?
- 11:08Speaker 1: That's ignorance with gravy, uh dripped over an ignorant egg
- 11:14Speaker 1: ro wrapped rolled all in there. That's mother mother, mother's baby.
- 11:22Speaker 1: What I like about us being allowed to be ignorant?
- 11:25Speaker 1: We were all told. I don't know about you, but
- 11:27Speaker 1: I was told nobody's gonna pay you to be ignorant?
- 11:34Speaker 1: How rone they were Jay, Oh that conversation they heard me?
- 11:39Speaker 1: How much money make? How much money we make this week?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Mister fam Hey, hey, science teacher, you're still teaching science.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They try to incur they try to crush your drink.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I get it, I get it. That's funny. But we're here,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and yeah, you proved them all wrong. You proved them
- 12:07Speaker 1: all wrong. You can't make a living being ignorant. Oh,
- 12:13Speaker 1: ignorance paid, I'm sorry, elevated living levels to one. I'm
- 12:22Speaker 1: surprised they don't teach ignorance in school because it's a gift.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's a gift one on one. But you know what,
- 12:33Speaker 1: they should teach it though, because you really could perfect
- 12:36Speaker 1: it if it's taught you really, you know who I
- 12:39Speaker 1: think should teach it? You guys, you guys, because who
- 12:44Speaker 1: does it better about? You couldn't teach this. I thought
- 12:49Speaker 1: this was it's a gift skill, it's a skill set.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But you but those there are those that have the
- 12:56Speaker 1: skill set that don't know how to hone the crest.
- 12:59Speaker 1: There you go, and that's where your ex right, your
- 13:02Speaker 1: teaching comes in. And maybe in school. In school, and
- 13:06Speaker 1: when you're being ignorant and not being told to sit
- 13:09Speaker 1: down and shut up, that really squashes your ignorance right then.
- 13:12Speaker 1: You know, if you're told that sit down and shut up,
- 13:15Speaker 1: nobody Well, I could say there's probably a lot of
- 13:18Speaker 1: parents this morning telling their kids, don't listen to him,
- 13:20Speaker 1: you better be quiet in their classroom. But my mom
- 13:24Speaker 1: used to tell me that all the time to get
- 13:26Speaker 1: sart to sit down a little girl. Everyone has seen you,
- 13:34Speaker 1: all right, Well, you know we opened it up with ignorance.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Guess what. The ignorance continues because coming up at thirty
- 13:40Speaker 1: two minutes after ask bitter man. Right after this. You're
- 13:43Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Morning Show. Time now for ask
- 13:48Speaker 1: bitter man. This one, bitter man, I'm gonna let you
- 13:51Speaker 1: do your disclaimer. It's from this team. If you get
- 13:56Speaker 1: help out of this, you dug it out. You're a
- 14:01Speaker 1: dentist drilling you drills out there? Help all right? This
- 14:07Speaker 1: one is from Miss t and Orlando. My husband and
- 14:10Speaker 1: I have been married for six years and he's a promoter.
- 14:13Speaker 1: His phone rings and dings all day and night. And
- 14:18Speaker 1: I see how he smiles as some of the messages
- 14:21Speaker 1: or walks out of the room with certain phone calls.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I've asked him to unlock his phone or give me
- 14:26Speaker 1: the password, and he said it's his business line. And
- 14:29Speaker 1: he doesn't come to my job asking for my passwords.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Am I doing too much? Or is my husband hiding
- 14:35Speaker 1: something from He's not hiding anything important people. He has
- 14:38Speaker 1: moved up. He is an important man, and important people
- 14:42Speaker 1: get important calls all time and the night. That's that's
- 14:47Speaker 1: the beauty of being important. When you're important, your phone range.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Some calls you get will bring a smile to your face,
- 14:55Speaker 1: and some calls you get with them Okay, made it
- 15:00Speaker 1: and when he walked when and when he walks out.
- 15:02Speaker 1: When he walks out, Jay, he's just trying to be
- 15:06Speaker 1: able to hear to He needs to be in a
- 15:10Speaker 1: better place where the acoustics allows him to hear. That's
- 15:16Speaker 1: all that is right. Anyone else, anyone You can't talk
- 15:22Speaker 1: with a bunch of loud noise, TVs and all this
- 15:25Speaker 1: other stuff. Phone, you gotta be another thing, Jay, one
- 15:27Speaker 1: an important person called Tommy. You can't keep no regular face.
- 15:31Speaker 1: This is we're promoting promoting him. Speaking of face, look
- 15:41Speaker 1: at my face to smile. I lets untwists your mouth. Donald,
- 15:49Speaker 1: we're moving on. Donald and Cambridge says. I'm twenty seven
- 15:52Speaker 1: and I've been with the same woman for five years.
- 15:54Speaker 1: She's thirty years old, successful, and recently recently just became
- 16:00Speaker 1: very religious. We lived together, but since our pastor has
- 16:03Speaker 1: gained influence over her, she sleeps in our guest room.
- 16:06Speaker 1: We've been shacking up and having sex for years, so
- 16:10Speaker 1: why switch it up now? This preacher calls her all
- 16:12Speaker 1: the time, so I bet he's trying to manipulate her
- 16:15Speaker 1: and sleeping with him. Should I confront him? Yeah? You
- 16:19Speaker 1: don't aliens that church business. That's what you really need
- 16:22Speaker 1: to stay up our church business. That's money you'll do.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But what has happened to your woman? She's gone full
- 16:28Speaker 1: Christian and lost hook freaking in She's what you need
- 16:33Speaker 1: to find is a Christian freak. They exist. Okay, oh God,
- 16:38Speaker 1: they got out there. They love the Lord, but they
- 16:42Speaker 1: don't man getting freaking as long if they be do
- 16:46Speaker 1: what you gotta do the fol service starts that could
- 16:49Speaker 1: be zoomed or going to service the only as you
- 16:52Speaker 1: finish your freakingness the boss. That's the way Christian freak operates,
- 16:56Speaker 1: right time and telling them about it. What told you
- 16:58Speaker 1: to think the freakiness of gold too far? Now you
- 17:03Speaker 1: did straight to hell. I think freaking is a gold
- 17:07Speaker 1: to come on, come on and in the words in
- 17:11Speaker 1: the words of TDJ, sometimes the freakers need to be
- 17:14Speaker 1: accepted for what it is that they do. You know,
- 17:17Speaker 1: we get ready to get ready, to get ready to
- 17:18Speaker 1: get ready because he alright, Okay. This one is from America,
- 17:30Speaker 1: America and West Memphis, America, America writes. I'm a thirty
- 17:35Speaker 1: three year old newly wed and my husband came to
- 17:37Speaker 1: the marriage with five children by four different girls. I
- 17:41Speaker 1: had a house when we got married, so he moved
- 17:43Speaker 1: in with me. Right after he moved in, he said
- 17:46Speaker 1: we were going to paint my spare room and put
- 17:48Speaker 1: in twin beds for his children. We didn't discuss this
- 17:52Speaker 1: at all before marriage, and he never even had his
- 17:55Speaker 1: children spending the night with him when we were dating.
- 17:57Speaker 1: He wants us all to be one big, happy family now,
- 18:01Speaker 1: but I don't want that. How do I break it
- 18:03Speaker 1: to him? Gently? Oh? You just did? You just told
- 18:06Speaker 1: him that that's not I don't know. He needs to
- 18:09Speaker 1: read this letter to him like you didn't have all
- 18:13Speaker 1: these kids coming over him with dating, and they're not
- 18:15Speaker 1: coming over here now. So you gotta make a choice
- 18:18Speaker 1: of partner and use the word partner when when you
- 18:20Speaker 1: put partner and what you're talking about, no, no, no, no, Ja,
- 18:24Speaker 1: don't say partners. Say I'm sorry. Look, And it's got
- 18:29Speaker 1: to start with looking at him. It was none of
- 18:33Speaker 1: this disgusting though, but whatever, you don't look at him,
- 18:36Speaker 1: but men know that you ste look at him. Parting
- 18:40Speaker 1: never high let you. Yeah, sure, you're und the disgusted
- 18:45Speaker 1: because when you say five children by four different girls,
- 18:48Speaker 1: do nothing much to say? You know, he got five
- 18:51Speaker 1: kids four different girls. We shouldn't have got married in
- 18:54Speaker 1: the first place. That's your first damn mistake. Enough on
- 19:02Speaker 1: this show. We're not here to judge. We don't judge
- 19:05Speaker 1: or help, all right, Terry and Albany Georgia says, I'm
- 19:11Speaker 1: a married woman and I messed up and kissed one
- 19:14Speaker 1: of my husband's friends. God, my husband's friend dropped off
- 19:20Speaker 1: his son or a sleepover with our son while my
- 19:23Speaker 1: husband wasn't at home. He ain't handsome or anything I'd
- 19:27Speaker 1: ever be attracted to. But he palmed my butt and
- 19:30Speaker 1: pulled me to him and planted a long, passionate kiss
- 19:33Speaker 1: on me. I pushed him away, but I couldn't help
- 19:37Speaker 1: but blush. It was that good. I told him I
- 19:40Speaker 1: was disgusted. Now he winks at me every time I
- 19:44Speaker 1: see him. Should I tell my husband about this? No,
- 19:47Speaker 1: you should not tell your husband, Maddy. You don't want
- 19:49Speaker 1: to break up your friendship. But I was trying to
- 19:52Speaker 1: find out if this was a kid I coming involved,
- 19:56Speaker 1: if it was coming involved. You committed a sin you
- 20:00Speaker 1: have just you sinned, You sinned in the eyes of God,
- 20:04Speaker 1: and was it was this fit swap? We need to
- 20:07Speaker 1: know that too. These these are these are things that
- 20:13Speaker 1: can't be rescinded. You have Oh my god, you you
- 20:17Speaker 1: cursed woman, You really are you really have to know
- 20:20Speaker 1: what a good parmy? Yeah, make you kiss an ugly
- 20:24Speaker 1: PERSONA man don't have nothing to lose if you would
- 20:34Speaker 1: have rejected the kids anyone like he was going. You know,
- 20:36Speaker 1: he ain't gonna be upset about it anyway, rejected. All right,
- 20:46Speaker 1: thanks guys. Coming up next, the nephew is here. More Ignorance.
- 20:51Speaker 1: More Ignorance has promised we'd run that prank back right
- 20:54Speaker 1: after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. Coming up
- 20:59Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Miss Anne is standing
- 21:02Speaker 1: by with today's national news. President Biden stands by his
- 21:05Speaker 1: decision to withdraw from Afghanistan. Plus and entertainment news Erica
- 21:10Speaker 1: Badou has apologized now for leaking President Obama's party picks.
- 21:15Speaker 1: We'll talk about these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:17Speaker 1: but right now, the nephew is in the building. Would
- 21:20Speaker 1: run that prank back what you got for his neff.
- 21:24Speaker 1: As you know, last year, the church gave mean this
- 21:30Speaker 1: glove so that I may have yelling power. That's one
- 21:36Speaker 1: movie I couldn't do that. I couldn't do that. Yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 1: because he plays three different people. He plays a pastor,
- 21:47Speaker 1: Richard play, he plays a pastor, he plays himself. Okay,
- 21:51Speaker 1: and then he also plays the old man, old man, Hollywood,
- 21:58Speaker 1: I swell, we'll be a blockbussy of you. Come get me. Yeah, okay,
- 22:01Speaker 1: just come on that. I got the skills, I'm trained,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I got it all. But anyway, this right here, well
- 22:09Speaker 1: we're gonna move over to the prank call. But but

- 23:21Speaker 1: you know, I just got back to town, you know,
- 23:23Speaker 1: two weeks ago, and to you know, running to a classmate.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I was like wow, but but you know, uh, she

- 25:04Speaker 1: had hers, bro, But you you can't come over my house, dude, Okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: Oka hold hold hold hola hola man Nah. Glinda then
- 25:10Speaker 1: invited me and I'm coming. I don't. I don't know

- 26:34Speaker 1: guess what, dog it's on in poppet. One thing I
- 26:37Speaker 1: ain't forgot is my first love, and my first love

- 26:53Speaker 1: you show up and ain't going home. I promise you that. Brother.

- 28:20Speaker 1: Is you listening? Is you listen? Because ever deny you ain't.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Are you listening to me? You want to say? This
- 28:26Speaker 1: is nephew Tommy from the Steve Horby Morning Show. You
- 28:30Speaker 1: just got pranked by your wife, Glenda. You see I'm
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm playing, man. You know I'm playing do kill y'all? Man?
- 28:48Speaker 1: I'm glad. I'm so glad. This is a joke. Bryan.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm telling because because I gotta ask you, man, I
- 28:55Speaker 1: gotta ask you one more thing though? What is what
- 28:57Speaker 1: is the baddest I'm talking about the bad his radio
- 29:01Speaker 1: show in the land, Steve all right, thank you, crazy man.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment and
- 29:15Speaker 1: national news. Right after this, you're listening to the Stave
- 29:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. What is going on? Did you guys
- 29:25Speaker 1: see the Afghans clinging to a US airplane as a
- 29:28Speaker 1: taxi down the runway? Now this was in an attempt,
- 29:31Speaker 1: of course, to flee the country due to the Taliban takeover.
- 29:37Speaker 1: What about the shocking video of the person clinging on
- 29:40Speaker 1: the plane who lost his grip just before lunging to
- 29:44Speaker 1: the earth below. I mean, really sad and hard to watch, yesh. Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 1: President Biden admitted yesterday that the collapse of Afghanistan's government
- 29:54Speaker 1: unfolded more quickly than the US anticipated, but he stood
- 29:58Speaker 1: firmly behind his decision to with through all US troops.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And the president also said he inherited a deal that
- 30:04Speaker 1: Trump negotiated. What sad. That was so sad to see.
- 30:10Speaker 1: It was shocking. I just saw this video. It's like
- 30:17Speaker 1: the same thing happened. That's what they're comparing it to. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 1: And and Biden is getting a lot of criticism for this, um,
- 30:29Speaker 1: but I mean it is true. He did inherit it,
- 30:32Speaker 1: you know. And uh, nobody criticized Trump when he when
- 30:36Speaker 1: he blamed the Obama administration on everything, you know, for COVID,
- 30:43Speaker 1: for for for COVID anything. So you know, like he said,
- 30:47Speaker 1: Biden said, when there was no good time, Yeah, when
- 30:52Speaker 1: was it good time? It was never a good time.
- 30:54Speaker 1: It was never something. Oh this is a perfect let's
- 30:57Speaker 1: all come home now. There's never a good times. Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 1: And as president, you know, you gotta take the hits,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you got to take the good with the bad. I mean,
- 31:06Speaker 1: this was a decision and you have to make some
- 31:08Speaker 1: tough decisions, and this was one of those tough decisions
- 31:12Speaker 1: he had to make as president. And like he said,
- 31:14Speaker 1: the buck stops here. But I do feel sorry for
- 31:17Speaker 1: those people there. Ye oh absolutely absolutely. Yeah, it's a mess.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It really is a mess. Wow. All right, we're gonna
- 31:26Speaker 1: switch gears here and talk about Eric Abadou. Speaking of Obama,
- 31:32Speaker 1: Ericabadou has issued an apology for posting pictures from former
- 31:37Speaker 1: President Obama's sixtieth birthday party. Remember that he was going
- 31:41Speaker 1: to have this big, lavish event and then he scaled
- 31:43Speaker 1: it back because of COVID. Mister and missus, Obama says, Erica,
- 31:50Speaker 1: please forgive me for being the terrible guest at such
- 31:53Speaker 1: a sacred event for your family. She said, it was
- 31:56Speaker 1: so inconsiderate, what an example of how not to be.
- 32:00Speaker 1: And to let you know just how sincere she was.
- 32:03Speaker 1: She signed off with the name Erica, and you know
- 32:06Speaker 1: her real name is Erica, right, so just let you know. Yeah,
- 32:11Speaker 1: she used her government name for this. Yeah, but she apologized. Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 1: she definitely apologized. I was wondering. I was like wow
- 32:18Speaker 1: when I saw the pictures. Yeah, me too. I was like, Wow,
- 32:21Speaker 1: you won't be you won't be at sixty one party.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I'm an Erica fan, but is this is this? I
- 32:32Speaker 1: love her? I mean because I love Erica the death.
- 32:36Speaker 1: But do you just do you do something and say
- 32:38Speaker 1: I apologize later and get away with it? You know?
- 32:40Speaker 1: I gotta at least put that out there. You know.
- 32:45Speaker 1: It seems like everybody does. Everybody does that. Yeah. If
- 32:49Speaker 1: it wasn't, never saw the party, That's all I could
- 32:52Speaker 1: tell you. If it wasn't, we never would have saw
- 32:54Speaker 1: President Obama dancing. And then the road gets away with
- 33:02Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. So you fan, we let it go,
- 33:05Speaker 1: So don't worry. Why didn't he do like a video
- 33:09Speaker 1: and walk through the party. Yeah, all right, Jay, it's
- 33:17Speaker 1: time for today's headline. All right, everybody, it's time for
- 33:20Speaker 1: the News with miss and Trip. Thanks Jerry, Thanks Shirley.
- 33:24Speaker 1: This is a trip with the News in Afghanistan. As
- 33:26Speaker 1: the evacuation of Afghan diplomats and those who work with
- 33:28Speaker 1: the US military continues, recent polls show that most Americans
- 33:32Speaker 1: support the idea of leaving. However, pictures yesterday of frantic
- 33:36Speaker 1: Afghans flooding the airport and even jumping on airplane running boards.
- 33:40Speaker 1: In one case a man fell to his death. Pictures
- 33:43Speaker 1: of that have made some people question how the evacuation
- 33:45Speaker 1: is being handled, people like Senate Minardi, Leader Republican Mitch McConnell.
- 33:50Speaker 1: What we have saying is an unmitigated disaster, staying on
- 33:54Speaker 1: the reputation of the United States of America well with
- 33:58Speaker 1: the Taliban and control of the company the country. The
- 34:00Speaker 1: President defended his pullout plan yesterday, along with a little
- 34:04Speaker 1: history mixed in well, I came in office, I inherited
- 34:07Speaker 1: a deal to President Trump negotiated with the Taliman. Under
- 34:10Speaker 1: his agreement, US forces would be out of Afghanistan by
- 34:13Speaker 1: May one, twenty twenty one. US forces had already drawn
- 34:19Speaker 1: down during the Trump administration, from roughly fifteen thousand, five
- 34:23Speaker 1: hundred American forces the two thousand and five hundred. The
- 34:27Speaker 1: truth is this did unfold more quickly than we had anticipated.
- 34:32Speaker 1: So what's happened Afghanistan political leaders gave up and fled
- 34:36Speaker 1: the country, The Afghan military collapsed, American troops cannot and
- 34:41Speaker 1: should not be fighting in the war, and dined in
- 34:45Speaker 1: the war that Afghan forces are not willing to fight
- 34:48Speaker 1: for themselves, and Biden adds quote, how many generations of
- 34:51Speaker 1: America's daughters and sons would you have me sin to
- 34:54Speaker 1: fight Afghan civil war when Afghan troops will not. How
- 34:58Speaker 1: many endless rows of head stones will there be at
- 35:01Speaker 1: Arlington National Cemetery and Haiti International Aid efforts continue there,
- 35:06Speaker 1: but they've quickly ramped up medical as well as search
- 35:09Speaker 1: and rescue teams are racing to pull people from collapsed
- 35:12Speaker 1: buildings in the southwest area of the country in the
- 35:15Speaker 1: wake of Satay one niks devastating earthquake. As of late yesterday,
- 35:19Speaker 1: the death toll was listed as one thousand, four hundred
- 35:22Speaker 1: and nineteen people, with six thousand reported injured. And this
- 35:26Speaker 1: latest quake is the deadliest since the one in twenty
- 35:28Speaker 1: ten when some two hundred thousand Haitians lost their lives.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Hospitals and schools have been damaged. And this is all
- 35:36Speaker 1: happening as the Haitian government deals with political instability from
- 35:39Speaker 1: the stomach from the brutal assassination of their president just
- 35:42Speaker 1: last month, from a COVID pandemic, gang violence, and now
- 35:46Speaker 1: today haities being waterlogged thanks to Hurricane Grace. Folks cannot
- 35:50Speaker 1: get a break. Meanwhile, goods are being shipped in by boats,
- 35:53Speaker 1: small planes, and helicopters on loan from the Dominican Republic
- 35:57Speaker 1: and the US. Finally, okay, in northern California's Dixie Fire
- 36:01Speaker 1: still rages there. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:05Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Come on, Tommy,
- 36:09Speaker 1: introduce your boy and get ready. We're going deep, deep
- 36:15Speaker 1: into the mind, the mind that you never traveled into before.
- 36:18Speaker 1: The one and only Jay Anthony Brown. All right, before
- 36:22Speaker 1: we start, I need to remind everybody tonight at the
- 36:25Speaker 1: J Spot, Los Angeles, California, Alex Thomas and friends. Check
- 36:30Speaker 1: it out my good but Saturday night, I'll be in Charlotte,
- 36:35Speaker 1: North Carolina on August two. One. Okay, here we go.
- 36:39Speaker 1: I want to talk to you, ladies and gentlemen and
- 36:40Speaker 1: people out there in radio land about a form of
- 36:43Speaker 1: music that no longer is this hit it, Dave, hit It,
- 36:48Speaker 1: turn it up just a little bit. I want to
- 36:51Speaker 1: talk about singers who no longer do what I call
- 36:56Speaker 1: the breakdown in music. If not familiar with the breakdown,
- 37:01Speaker 1: is when a man opens his heart in pleads and
- 37:05Speaker 1: beds and says I'm sorry. In a song nobody wants
- 37:10Speaker 1: to sing to break down number number. Nobody wants to
- 37:18Speaker 1: sing to breakdown number no more. He goes like this, baby,
- 37:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry write news checks with your mama's name. But
- 37:31Speaker 1: your mama's got good credit and you don't have a
- 37:33Speaker 1: good credit. All right, your mama has good credit, and
- 37:38Speaker 1: I just want to apologize. But I got another person here.
- 37:41Speaker 1: There won'ta do some vegging in pleading right here, I'm
- 37:45Speaker 1: gonna turn it over to my singing buddy, nephew, Timmy.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Get some Timmy. You know, baby, it's been a long
- 37:54Speaker 1: time since we talked about it. Your credit is bad, baby,
- 37:58Speaker 1: your credit is real bad. So I use our babies
- 38:06Speaker 1: social security so we can get where we're trying to go. Baby,
- 38:11Speaker 1: that's where we're trying to go. Yeah, I just want
- 38:14Speaker 1: to let you know, baby, our credit is coming up,
- 38:17Speaker 1: no mo. And we're looking good because our baby got
- 38:21Speaker 1: our baby got good credit. No mo. Yeah. Right now,
- 38:27Speaker 1: we're gonna turn it over to our main breakdown man, Yeah, Junior,
- 38:31Speaker 1: get something man, put the big on. Break it down,
- 38:38Speaker 1: Break it down. I'm so sorry you kids called his
- 38:43Speaker 1: nag at. I'm so sorry the kids called us nag
- 38:48Speaker 1: at you said lock the dough. You said lock the dough.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I didn't turn around. I just had to swift one button.
- 38:56Speaker 1: But they walked in and said mama. I said all damn, oh, damn, Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 1: the battle we gotta go coming. Don't you talk about
- 39:16Speaker 1: the comedic versus battle right after this? You're listening to
- 39:24Speaker 1: this day show. Well, Damon Wayans admitted during a radio
- 39:29Speaker 1: interview in Houston that he has never watched a versus battle.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Imagine that. And then they asked Damon um who would
- 39:38Speaker 1: he battle in a comedy based versus battle. Damon said,
- 39:42Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle. Didn't even think about it. Just Dave Chappelle
- 39:46Speaker 1: just off the dome. So you know that begs the
- 39:56Speaker 1: question for this show. Jay, Tommy and Junior, you guys
- 39:59Speaker 1: are all commite Dan who would win this battle if
- 40:03Speaker 1: it goes down? In part two? Do you think cancel
- 40:08Speaker 1: culture is killing comedy? But let's go with the first
- 40:11Speaker 1: from first? Damon Wands and Dave Chappelle. Wow, that's two.
- 40:16Speaker 1: That's two different comedies though, two different styles. Yeah, pick
- 40:26Speaker 1: a winner. They didn't ask me, you know what, you
- 40:32Speaker 1: know what, I I can't pick one. It's two different styles, y'all.
- 40:37Speaker 1: It's just two different. They both funny. I can't do this.
- 40:41Speaker 1: I can't do I'm sorry. I let me ask you. Okay,
- 40:47Speaker 1: let me say this right here, Damon, shut your hands up, man, Okay,
- 40:53Speaker 1: let me say this because I'm a Damon. I'm a
- 40:55Speaker 1: Damon fans, But stop this, Damon stand up comedy fan?
- 40:59Speaker 1: Are you with Damon wains and Living Color? HOLDI the
- 41:02Speaker 1: clown fans? You know? You know what? No, it goes.
- 41:07Speaker 1: It goes back to uh and and and and Jay
- 41:10Speaker 1: you might remember this. It goes back to Robert Townsend.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Uh when he had those that those specials on HBO,
- 41:19Speaker 1: Partners in Crime, Partners in Crown, Partners Partners in Crown,
- 41:23Speaker 1: and that you throwback man. And that's when I first
- 41:26Speaker 1: saw Damon and I was like, oh my god, this
- 41:29Speaker 1: guy's a beast. He funnies all get out. And then
- 41:31Speaker 1: he did movies, and then he did a movie with
- 41:34Speaker 1: Bruce Willis and he went on and on, Damon is
- 41:37Speaker 1: a beast, and and then Damon slowed down. But now
- 41:41Speaker 1: right now, that Damn Chappelle, who Lord have mercy? All right,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I'm not picking one, right, I would go I would
- 41:57Speaker 1: go with I would go with Damon I would go real,
- 42:00Speaker 1: go with going with the veteran of the veterans. Yeah,
- 42:05Speaker 1: I would go why I mean Chappelle if you right
- 42:08Speaker 1: to mean, he's one of the great one of the greatest.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Go ahead, go ahead, junior, who would you play Chappelle? Okay?
- 42:16Speaker 1: And why we need a wine? That's the young Come on,
- 42:20Speaker 1: because I'm young. I know Damon Wayne's ain't because I'm
- 42:24Speaker 1: ain't got nothing new with it. Yeah, I just preferm
- 42:28Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle style of coming. I mean, I know Damon
- 42:30Speaker 1: Ways is more of a physical type of comedian, you know,
- 42:32Speaker 1: like myself, But Dave Chappelle, I think comedy should also
- 42:35Speaker 1: provoke thought as well. So that's my whole thing. You know,
- 42:38Speaker 1: it ain't just the fact that you know, David Wayne's
- 42:40Speaker 1: tackle issues that we laugh at, but you know you
- 42:42Speaker 1: take a stand up to be able to tackle social
- 42:45Speaker 1: issues and make you laugh at him like Chapelle do.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Now that was my young ass got to say. But
- 42:51Speaker 1: I love the question, man, because you said because I
- 42:56Speaker 1: was young, you will now gonna make you think the most.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Who's gonna make you laugh the most? You know? I'm laughing.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Thank Yeah, okay, and you can do both. You do
- 43:09Speaker 1: you know what I'm but I think I think Damon
- 43:11Speaker 1: will make you think as well. Yeah, you're right, Yeah,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I really do. I think they you know what this is? Okay,
- 43:18Speaker 1: let me let me hold who wrote this that we
- 43:21Speaker 1: had to talk about this because we're not y'all picking
- 43:24Speaker 1: us on our boys. It ain't like you. You can't
- 43:27Speaker 1: pick one and gotta hate the other. You know, I
- 43:30Speaker 1: mean what I feel. You know, I ain't nothing. I
- 43:33Speaker 1: ain't picking one. I love both of us. You already
- 43:36Speaker 1: like the fact. I can tell you who I like
- 43:37Speaker 1: the battle in the verse. I tell you who I
- 43:39Speaker 1: like the battle. I tell anybody like the battle straight up.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I've been waiting for years. That damn weird out Yankevich.
- 43:47Speaker 1: I would you know what Jay video video against. I'm
- 43:53Speaker 1: going with you, Jack, I'm going with you. I'm going
- 43:55Speaker 1: with you. I'm going with you. I had a question
- 44:00Speaker 1: for Junior, what would you say lhisical comedy? What does
- 44:03Speaker 1: that mean when you say you're active? Run around the stage?
- 44:06Speaker 1: You know they would do a wheel in a minute.
- 44:12Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go, guys. Coming up next, it
- 44:15Speaker 1: is a nephew with the prank phone call right after this.

- 54:08Speaker 1: Here it is. It's the Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough you,
- 54:12Speaker 1: subject super Sexy super Fly. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm forty
- 54:17Speaker 1: four years old and I have met the love of
- 54:20Speaker 1: my life, but it took me three years to get
- 54:22Speaker 1: used to him. We met in the mall three years
- 54:25Speaker 1: ago on a Saturday I remember the day in full detail.
- 54:30Speaker 1: He was wearing a matching short set with knee socks
- 54:33Speaker 1: and he had a brim on. He asked me where
- 54:36Speaker 1: the Floorsham shoe store was, and I had to google
- 54:39Speaker 1: it because I'd never heard of it. He was an
- 54:42Speaker 1: older man, so I walked over to the concierge desk
- 54:45Speaker 1: with him to see if there is such a store.
- 54:50Speaker 1: The concierge said that the store was closed a while ago,
- 54:52Speaker 1: and this man looked defeated. An hour later, he walked
- 54:56Speaker 1: up to me in the food court and offered to
- 54:58Speaker 1: pay for my lunch. We eight and had the best conversation.
- 55:02Speaker 1: He's eighteen years older than me, so I told him
- 55:06Speaker 1: we could only be friends and i'd help him shop
- 55:09Speaker 1: some weekends. We met in them all a few more times,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he finally admitted that he didn't like shopping. He
- 55:16Speaker 1: only came to see me. I started meeting him for
- 55:18Speaker 1: dinner and he gave me money freely without me asking.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I enjoyed hanging out with him. Two years after we met,
- 55:26Speaker 1: he tricked me into having sex after we shared a
- 55:29Speaker 1: bottle of wine at dinner and he had to drive
- 55:32Speaker 1: me home. He is very well endowed and romance to
- 55:36Speaker 1: me all night. Fast forward to present day and we've
- 55:41Speaker 1: fallen in love. He's a super sexy older man, but
- 55:45Speaker 1: he's also super flies, just like the movie character. He
- 55:48Speaker 1: won't stop starching his jeans or wearing his matching short sets.
- 55:53Speaker 1: I asked him to take the gold cap off of
- 55:56Speaker 1: his side too, but he says it's a fashion statement.
- 56:00Speaker 1: My friends call him super fly, and I'm ashamed of him.
- 56:03Speaker 1: He proposed, and I said yes, but I haven't told
- 56:06Speaker 1: anyone because I don't want to hear the jokes. Am
- 56:09Speaker 1: I being stupid? Should I marry my super sexy, super
- 56:13Speaker 1: fly old man? Well only you can answer that, But
- 56:17Speaker 1: first you gotta tell him this. Those starched crease jenes,
- 56:21Speaker 1: you know, he's putting a crease down the middle of
- 56:22Speaker 1: those Janes. That's not coming back. Okay, that is not
- 56:25Speaker 1: coming back. They were retired back in the eighties or
- 56:28Speaker 1: nineties or seventies whenever. They're not coming back. They're not
- 56:33Speaker 1: coming back. And it's all over for Denis socks, all
- 56:36Speaker 1: that side gold tooth. That is not a fashion statement.
- 56:39Speaker 1: So tell Papa that no one wears floorshom shoes anymore. Okay,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you got to tell him these things, and you all
- 56:47Speaker 1: need to stop lying and all this trickery you got
- 56:50Speaker 1: going on. He didn't like shopping, but he pretended like
- 56:52Speaker 1: he liked shopping with you. You know, he tricked you
- 56:56Speaker 1: into having sex. All of that. Come on. Now. The
- 56:59Speaker 1: truth is is you love Papa and Papa loves you. Okay,
- 57:05Speaker 1: So why can't you guys just build from that? At
- 57:08Speaker 1: sixty two, that's how old he is. You said he
- 57:11Speaker 1: was eighteen years older than you. I will admit it's
- 57:13Speaker 1: going to be a little hard for him to change
- 57:15Speaker 1: his pimpish ways. You know, his style anyway, his pempish style,
- 57:19Speaker 1: because he's probably set in his ways. But depending on
- 57:22Speaker 1: how you ask him, he'll probably do it for you.
- 57:26Speaker 1: And you have to tell him because this marriage is
- 57:30Speaker 1: never gonna work if you don't. I mean, you're already
- 57:33Speaker 1: embarrassed of him. You haven't even told anybody that you
- 57:36Speaker 1: guys are engaged or getting ready to get married, and
- 57:39Speaker 1: that's no way to start a marriage. You've already said yes.
- 57:43Speaker 1: So there's obviously a lot about him that you do like.
- 57:47Speaker 1: But the point is marriage is not just about you know,
- 57:50Speaker 1: great sex and all of that. It's about compromise. Communication.
- 57:53Speaker 1: It's about commitment, and if he's not willing to make
- 57:56Speaker 1: some subtle changes for you, then that's a good indication
- 57:59Speaker 1: of how the marriage will go. And you still will
- 58:02Speaker 1: be ashamed of him and you won't be happy. So
- 58:05Speaker 1: meet him back at the mall. You all go shopping
- 58:07Speaker 1: and pick him out some new clothes. Then go to
- 58:09Speaker 1: the dentist and get that goal tooth removed. That's all
- 58:12Speaker 1: you gotta do. Be in love because you're in love
- 58:17Speaker 1: with the goal. First of all, let me talk to
- 58:20Speaker 1: you older dude with tale, because I am older dude. Okay,
- 58:26Speaker 1: what shared they is saying, Some of that is correct,
- 58:29Speaker 1: but it's hard, very hard to get an old player
- 58:33Speaker 1: to change his way the match in short sets. Does
- 58:36Speaker 1: he have the full toe covered sandals, because if he does,
- 58:40Speaker 1: then he's a true player from the him and layers.
- 58:43Speaker 1: What you need to do is changed some things a
- 58:47Speaker 1: little bit at a time, you know what I mean,
- 58:49Speaker 1: Like give up the nugget watch for just a regular watch,
- 58:54Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Let's get rid of that
- 58:56Speaker 1: goal in your mouth to put a white tooth in it.
- 58:59Speaker 1: This will shock him. It will he will go into
- 59:03Speaker 1: complete shock to change everything he doing. One time. His
- 59:09Speaker 1: system can't take that much change, you know what I mean,
- 59:12Speaker 1: the knee socked. If he wants to wake up and
- 59:15Speaker 1: you have him fully clothed with the you know, some
- 59:18Speaker 1: van loafers and some short pants with a matching shirt,
- 59:22Speaker 1: you know, and just a regular baseball cap, you know,
- 59:25Speaker 1: and he's lost him knees socks, he'd go into complete,
- 59:28Speaker 1: complete shock and it might die. You can't do that,
- 59:32Speaker 1: man like that. You got to change what you can change.
- 59:36Speaker 1: You got to remove the toothpick out of his mouth,
- 59:39Speaker 1: telling her stop sucking his toothpick. I know he got
- 59:43Speaker 1: a toothpic. I know this, dude, I've seen it. Man.
- 59:49Speaker 1: You know how I know this, dude, this used to
- 59:52Speaker 1: be mean. I used to do he and he sucks
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: when he makes thoughts. And you just gotta work with him. Okay,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you can't, Janie just playing flam his things he does
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: automatically one at a time. Take him one at a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: time and you'll be all right. All right, Well, thank you, Jay,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: We have more to go. We haven't heard from Junior,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: we haven't heard from the nephew. The subject is super sexy,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: super fly. We'll be back at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the Hour with part two of Today's Strawberry Letter. Right
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: All right, here we go, guys, we're gonna recap today's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. The subject is super Sexy and super fly.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Forty four year old woman wrote us a letter. She
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: met the love of her life three years ago. It
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: took her three years to get used to him. They
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: met in the mall. You know, she remembers the day
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: that he was an older gentleman with a short set
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: on knee socks. You know, just older, kind of sexy guy,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: still stuck in stuck in time time as far as
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: his wardrobe goes. You know, they had lunch together, great conversation.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: He's eighteen years older than her. So she told him
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: they could only be friends and she would help him
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: shop some weekend. So that was his way of getting
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: in to see her. He didn't really like shopping, but
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: he did eventually admit it to her. You know, they
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: went out to dinner. He would give her money freely.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: He tricked He tricked her into having sex with him,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: she said. After they shared a bottle of wine at
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: dinner and he had to drive her home. She said
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he was very well endowed, he was very good. He
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: romanted her, Yeah, he romanced her all night. Now they've
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: fallen in love. He's a super sexy old man, but
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: she doesn't. He's proposed to her, but she doesn't want
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: to let anybody know because she's ashamed of him about
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: the way he dresses. He has a gold tooth on
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the side of his mouth, and he says that's a
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: fashion statement. So she wants to know she being stupid
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: or should she go ahead and marry She already said yes.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: By the way, should she go ahead and marry her
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: super sexy, super fly old man junior? Year up? Yeah?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: So he's sixty two. So he's born in nineteen fifty nine.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: H you forty four? You bought in seventy seven? Oh man, yeah,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I did all the man. Let me ask you one
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: question though. It is his name, Roy Harris. That's my cousin,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: my great cousin, right hair. This is exactly what he
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: went out today. That why look what she said, take
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the gold cap. All inside that gold cap? Is it
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: a Martini glass in there? Because he not changing? Do
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: he have his keys in his hand when he walked?
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Is he bow legged with the hot knee socks with
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: some hard bottoms on, and he turned them keys in
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: his hand as he walked. Does right hair right, hair's

- 1:15:41Speaker 1: about Naomi Osaka donating her tennis earnings to Haiti. Yeah,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: tennis tournament in the Yeah, if you can help. You
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: see on TV what's going on. They need your help.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: They need your help right now. I remember we were
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: talking about this about what ten years or so ago,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Yeah about yeah, on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: so Steve Harvey Nation, again, we need you. And they're
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: also bracing for a storm, a hurricane that could possibly
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: be coming. I mean, you know it's Haiti take yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: so yeah, yeah, you have to pray for him. You
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: have to donate if you can pray for him, whatever
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: you can do. Now is the time. Now is the time.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: It is now time. I think that the world can
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: be doing more to help Haiti. We have to do
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: more to help this. Yeah, for sure, we absolutely do.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Show coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: What is going on? Did you guys see the Afghans
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: clinging to a US airplane as a taxi down the runway? Now,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: this was in an attempt, of course, to flee the
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: country to the Taliban takeover. Um. What about the shocking
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: video of the person clinging on the plane who lost
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: his grip just before lunging to the earth below. I mean,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: really sad and hard to watch. Yeah, uh yeah. President
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Biden admitted yesterday that the collapse of Afghanistan's government unfolded
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: more quickly than the US anticipated, but he stood firmly
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: behind his decision to withdraw US troops, and the President
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: also said he inherited a deal that Trump negotiated. That
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: was so sad to see. It was shocking. I just
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: saw this video. It's like the same thing happened. That's
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: what they're comparing it to. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And Biden
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: is getting a lot of criticism for this um but
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I mean it is true. He did inherit it. Nobody
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: criticized Trump when he blamed the Obama administration on everything,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you know, him for COVID, for for COVID anything. So
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: you know, like he said, Biden said that when there
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: was no good time to pull out? Yeah, when was it? Good?
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Was never a good time? Never? Oh, this is a
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: birthect let's all come home now. There's never a good time. Well, yeah,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: it's yeah. And as president, you know, you gotta take
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the hits. You gotta take the good with the bad.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I mean, this was a decision and you have to
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: make some tough decisions, and this was one of those
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: tough decisions he had to make as president. And like
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: he said, the buck stops here. But I do feel
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: sorry for those people that absolutely absolutely all right, we're
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: gonna switch gears here and talk about Erica Badou. Uh,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Speaking of Obama. Ericabadou has issued an apology for posting
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: pictures from former President Obama's sixtieth birthday party. Remember that
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: he was going to have this big, lavish event and
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: then he scaled it back because of covid um. Mister
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and missus Obama says, Erica, please forgive me for being
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the terrible guest at such a sacred event for your family.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: She said, it was so inconsiderate, what an example of
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: how not to be. And to let you know just
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: how sincere she was. She signed off with the name Erica.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And you know her real name is Erica, right, so
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: just let you know. I'm an Erica fan. But is
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: this because I love Erica the death too? But do
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you just do you do something and say I apologize
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: later and get away with it? You know, I gotta
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: put that out there, you know. It seems like everybody does.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Everybody does that. Yeah, all right, coming up, it is
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: our last break of the day, and we'll close out
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the show with a question. Lay I'll have a question. Okay,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: yes you will, of course you will. Just forewarned you.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: All right, that's coming up with forty nine minutes after
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:21:15Speaker 1: have a question. I like everybody to go back and

- 1:21:25Speaker 1: but you didn't have no damn toys the fun you had,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: but there was no toy involved. Go ahead, hilly, What
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: did you do to have fun? But you didn't have
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a toy? And seek? Hi? Seek? But come on, come on?
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: How about but when it got dark? Though? Yeah, so much.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I heard all of that. That's why I loved it
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: so much. I loved her behind that tree, that tree?
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: What did you have when you didn't have a toy?
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: You know what? We did a lot of dancing and
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: singing like we were on soul trained, like pretending to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: be also trans Me and my mom. We would grab
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: our hair brush and our favorite singer would be off
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the living room cutting up. Yea something. I don't know
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: why they never invented a hair brush? That was after
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: the microphone? And where is that? Where is the Asian
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: girl that was on god? Ye long ago in La
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: and I would see her all the time. Yes she was,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: she really was, Junior. What was the fun you had?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: But there was no toy involved? Before there was a

- 1:23:52Speaker 1: which one When I was coming up, I was the
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: guy in the neighborhood that if you told him to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: go in the house and get something, I don't get
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: it at whatever you needed. That was my mama's. If

- 1:24:37Speaker 1: to see in your When I saw them two knees
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: at the tent, I knew ten times. Ten time was
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: over with when I tell you, and Lee Brown wrapped
