- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah, listening to.
- 0:26Speaker 4: To I don't joy, Yeah, joy.
- 0:59Speaker 5: You gotta.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Love, you.
- 1:24Speaker 7: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I can't go to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 8: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out, turn
- 1:46Speaker 8: a word of the mony up, come come out, you think, uh?
- 2:02Speaker 8: I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 2: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 2: a radio show man. Oh man, oh man? How many
- 2:14Speaker 2: times I got to say that before I get tired
- 2:17Speaker 2: of it? I think it's gonna be a minute, folks.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I gotta be real with you, because boy, that's Steve Harvey,
- 2:24Speaker 2: got a radio show man. Clear indication of how God
- 2:30Speaker 2: can do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he
- 2:35Speaker 2: leads your life in directions that you never ever saw coming.
- 2:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:39Speaker 2: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:42Speaker 2: were talking about how man, they were young, and they
- 2:44Speaker 2: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:47Speaker 2: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:52Speaker 2: help help form who they were today as an adult.
- 2:56Speaker 2: This guy is fifty years old. And you know the
- 2:59Speaker 2: same thing for you. If you look back on your
- 3:02Speaker 2: life and all of the things that you've done, it
- 3:05Speaker 2: helped shape you into who you are now. This is
- 3:09Speaker 2: provided now that you take the positive approach. Now, when
- 3:13Speaker 2: I say look back at your life and see what
- 3:15Speaker 2: you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:19Speaker 2: because the misfortunate moments were necessary.
- 3:22Speaker 5: I know it.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's hard to see that when it's happening to you,
- 3:26Speaker 2: but the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really
- 3:31Speaker 2: makes you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really
- 3:36Speaker 2: makes you appreciate a walk on the beach is when
- 3:39Speaker 2: it's cold. Is rain in our side. What really makes
- 3:43Speaker 2: you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've been down.
- 3:47Speaker 2: See if you were up all the time, just the
- 3:51Speaker 2: nature of us as human beings, we would lose our
- 3:54Speaker 2: appreciation for it because it becomes case hurrah, whatever it is, Well,
- 3:58Speaker 2: it is what it is. I'm just what you take
- 4:02Speaker 2: it for granted, it becomes expected. But what happens in
- 4:05Speaker 2: life s is it has so many twisting turns, and
- 4:08Speaker 2: then you learn how to deal with those twisting turns,
- 4:11Speaker 2: which makes you now a more experienced person. And then
- 4:15Speaker 2: when the sunny days come, man, you go, wow, it's
- 4:17Speaker 2: really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how warm weather.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Just stay in a bunch of cold weather all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I'm just this is really
- 4:26Speaker 2: simpler now, a lot of analogies, but it helps you
- 4:29Speaker 2: along the way. Now here's what I came to say
- 4:32Speaker 2: today to everybody out there. And this has helped me
- 4:36Speaker 2: in my life. I can't tell you what it's done
- 4:39Speaker 2: for me, but a lot of people are struggling with
- 4:44Speaker 2: moving forward with their future. Their future plans, their future goals,
- 4:50Speaker 2: their future aspirations, their future hopes, their future dreams, just
- 4:56Speaker 2: simply your future wants. A lot of people trying to
- 4:59Speaker 2: have have a hard time mapping out their future, even
- 5:03Speaker 2: what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be, what I'm
- 5:06Speaker 2: gonna make, how I'm or go about it? What do
- 5:09Speaker 2: I do next? I want to share something with you
- 5:12Speaker 2: that I had to come to terms with the quickest
- 5:15Speaker 2: way to lose focus on your future is to keep
- 5:19Speaker 2: focusing on your past. You know, It's like I said
- 5:22Speaker 2: at the beginning. You know when I say it's wonderful
- 5:26Speaker 2: to look at your life and review it, because if
- 5:28Speaker 2: you look at it, it'll tell you it really helps
- 5:32Speaker 2: shape inform you today as the person you are now
- 5:36Speaker 2: if you look at it in a positive sense. But
- 5:39Speaker 2: if you dwell in harp on the negative that's happened
- 5:42Speaker 2: to you, then that keeps you from seeing the good
- 5:46Speaker 2: in the incident, every bad thing that's happened to you,
- 5:49Speaker 2: that was a silver lining behind it. I know people
- 5:52Speaker 2: who were on drugs who finally, man just got sent
- 5:56Speaker 2: to prison for stealing because of their habit. I know
- 5:59Speaker 2: Cat Dope. Well, he went to prison. He told me
- 6:03Speaker 2: one time, he says Steve. He said, man, this is
- 6:05Speaker 2: the best thing ever happened to me to save my life. Now,
- 6:09Speaker 2: most people would think, how in the world is going
- 6:11Speaker 2: to prison helpful for you? The brother said, it saved
- 6:16Speaker 2: my life. First of all, it got me clean. He said,
- 6:19Speaker 2: I've been clean for five years from sitting in here.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That's for starters. I'm clean. I ain't stealing no more.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I ain't jeopardizing
- 6:29Speaker 2: nobody else. He said. Now, man, I done went to college.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I done got a college degree. While I'm in here.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Then he was released from prison, and the brother's life
- 6:39Speaker 2: was completely turned around. He married, he got a family,
- 6:44Speaker 2: he got a great job. He go to work every day.
- 6:47Speaker 2: He's a productive citizen. I mean. So he looks back
- 6:51Speaker 2: on his incarceration, even his drug abuse, and it taught
- 6:56Speaker 2: him how to appreciate the things in life that he
- 6:59Speaker 2: had taken for granted and was missing because he said, man,
- 7:02Speaker 2: my life was just in a blur. I didn't even
- 7:04Speaker 2: know what was going on. He said, Now I appreciate
- 7:07Speaker 2: every day I wake up. That's what I mean. Even
- 7:11Speaker 2: in your missteps in life, there is a purpose for
- 7:14Speaker 2: the missteps. Every time you fail, there was a reason
- 7:18Speaker 2: for the failure. See what I had to do was
- 7:22Speaker 2: I had to learn that all of my failures taught
- 7:24Speaker 2: me how to get back up. So I became a
- 7:28Speaker 2: very strong and tough person in getting back up. And
- 7:31Speaker 2: then I was down and out so long that it
- 7:34Speaker 2: taught me how to really appreciate the up. And so
- 7:38Speaker 2: I've taken all of that and used it. Those experiences
- 7:42Speaker 2: that happened to me, and I became a more experienced person.
- 7:46Speaker 2: So next time when people talk about me who don't
- 7:49Speaker 2: know me, it don't shake me, cause everybody not gonna
- 7:53Speaker 2: like you. Man, you might as well go and get
- 7:55Speaker 2: on this train right now. And so what I'm saying
- 7:58Speaker 2: to you out there is theekest way to lose focus
- 8:01Speaker 2: on your future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left. Sometimes the
- 8:08Speaker 2: breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard to break
- 8:11Speaker 2: up because now you're loaning you by yourself. But man,
- 8:14Speaker 2: but weren't you in misery when you was in that?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Weren't you in complete misery in that? Now you kept
- 8:21Speaker 2: asking God to fix it. But it takes two people
- 8:24Speaker 2: to fix a relationship. It don't just take one. It
- 8:27Speaker 2: take two to make a thing go right. It take
- 8:31Speaker 2: two to make it out of sight. You really do
- 8:34Speaker 2: have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It can't just be one person want a relationship, So
- 8:39Speaker 2: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 2: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 2: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:47Speaker 2: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 2: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 2: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 2: a relationship. And you keep harping on the past. You
- 9:02Speaker 2: don't think you hear that. I'm just a dude with
- 9:04Speaker 2: a show, and I hear it all the time. Let
- 9:07Speaker 2: it go, go forward.
- 9:09Speaker 6: It's over.
- 9:10Speaker 2: You made it, He bought you through it, you conquered,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you survived it. Why are you dwelling on it and
- 9:18Speaker 2: making it the cross around your neck when clearly he
- 9:22Speaker 2: had removed it for you. Now, all you got to
- 9:25Speaker 2: do is come on. So if you sit behind them walls,
- 9:28Speaker 2: brothers and sisters, I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man,
- 9:32Speaker 2: you just got to get it right. All this repeat
- 9:35Speaker 2: offender business, that's for.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Who is that for?
- 9:38Speaker 2: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 9:41Speaker 2: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 9:45Speaker 2: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 9:48Speaker 2: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 9:50Speaker 2: a job? Are you serious?
- 9:52Speaker 6: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 9:55Speaker 2: it go.
- 9:55Speaker 9: Let's move you listening morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. You know what, man, When I laugh
- 10:07Speaker 2: like this in the morning, it's because I really am.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I really am that overjoyed with the fact that God
- 10:14Speaker 2: keep doing what he doing. I just really started really
- 10:18Speaker 2: paying close attention to that. But man, for him to
- 10:22Speaker 2: do this on a daily to make that sun come
- 10:26Speaker 2: up to set it when cloud cover, and he does
- 10:31Speaker 2: it every day. He's never missed a day. Man, I
- 10:37Speaker 2: don't know nobody that ain't ever missed. A baseball player
- 10:41Speaker 2: can make hundreds of millions of dollars in his career,
- 10:45Speaker 2: and all he got to do is be successful three
- 10:47Speaker 2: out of ten times. Some of them don't even be
- 10:50Speaker 2: that two point eight, but three out of ten times.
- 10:54Speaker 2: All you got to do is be successful one hundreds
- 10:56Speaker 2: of millions of dollars. We got a god that don't
- 10:59Speaker 2: ever miss back in the thousand. Man, that's crazy. Well
- 11:06Speaker 2: he did it again. I'm up here for it. I
- 11:08Speaker 2: hope you glad about it too. Shirley Strawberry call it
- 11:11Speaker 2: for real, Mississippi Monica Jr. And the legend that is
- 11:13Speaker 2: nephew Tommy Junior. Well, Well, well got your little Texans
- 11:19Speaker 2: had on today? What's going on?
- 11:22Speaker 9: We want?
- 11:24Speaker 5: You know?
- 11:26Speaker 10: You know I don't I don't understand this.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Uh you know.
- 11:29Speaker 10: If I say I love you, I just need to
- 11:32Speaker 10: hear I love you back.
- 11:34Speaker 11: M Okay, when did they stop saying this to us
- 11:40Speaker 11: when because every time I say I love you, it
- 11:42Speaker 11: is this.
- 11:43Speaker 10: Every time I say I love you, I love you?
- 11:45Speaker 10: Did you check the mail?
- 11:47Speaker 2: See?
- 11:48Speaker 10: Where is I love you back to me?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Why?
- 11:51Speaker 10: Had always got to be something I got to do?
- 11:54Speaker 2: You want to really see how this thing go?
- 11:57Speaker 10: Stop saying stop saying I love you to his wife.
- 12:03Speaker 2: You know you see you gotta work with Junior back.
- 12:05Speaker 10: Stop saying Wait a minute, when she gonna say it
- 12:08Speaker 10: back to me though?
- 12:10Speaker 3: Hm?
- 12:10Speaker 2: Well she ain't saying it back now, right? Is that
- 12:13Speaker 2: what you said that I love you?
- 12:14Speaker 5: Take the girl?
- 12:15Speaker 10: She ain't say, no, you check the mail or whatever?
- 12:21Speaker 10: I love you? Take the meat out?
- 12:23Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Yeah, get to your honey to do list.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I want that, so Junior, Junior, So you say, you
- 12:30Speaker 2: say I love you, and she never says I love
- 12:33Speaker 2: you back? Now she got something for me to do.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So she just gives you a task. Okay, So give
- 12:38Speaker 2: it to me one more time. Show me how it comes.
- 12:40Speaker 10: Okay, I love you?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Did you walk the door ted your head? Yeah? That's what. Yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 2: this has got the end written on like it's all yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but that's what it's got. I can't help you, man,
- 13:00Speaker 2: I ain't got that problem. So Tommy, you got that problem? No, yea,
- 13:06Speaker 2: I usually get I love you back. You know, Junior
- 13:08Speaker 2: summons something in this story you ain't telling us. Yeah
- 13:15Speaker 2: what because I'm pretty sure that woman says I love
- 13:18Speaker 2: you back.
- 13:20Speaker 10: Okay, well, let me record the next one and let
- 13:22Speaker 10: you hear it. I'll let you I record it that you.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Hit the radio. The level will come sooner. You recording
- 13:29Speaker 2: everything you're doing. You're doing something.
- 13:31Speaker 1: But Junior, we love you O. Coming up in thirty
- 13:34Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, we will hear from the
- 13:37Speaker 1: nephew as he runs that prank back. Right after this.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You're listening Hardy Morning Show. It is time now for
- 13:45Speaker 1: the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:47Speaker 9: What you got for us, neph Sureley.
- 13:49Speaker 12: I ran it yesterday. I'm gonn running back again today.
- 13:51Speaker 12: You understand it saying I'm running You know you know
- 13:53Speaker 12: the rules. Pretty tunny, you know these pranks chose me.
- 13:58Speaker 12: We can set this like we got and the plans
- 14:00Speaker 12: so we can get into some gangster stuff. This right
- 14:03Speaker 12: here is your sex is too loud. Your sex is
- 14:09Speaker 12: too loud.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Cat dog, if you would.
- 14:13Speaker 3: Hello hello, I'm trying to reach uh.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Uh you have the ground number. This is his life though.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Can I help you?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am, I'm calling you from the front desk here
- 14:26Speaker 3: at the at the Hilton Hotel and I've called them
- 14:30Speaker 3: the room a few times and you guys, you guys
- 14:33Speaker 3: haven't answered. So we actually went a little further and
- 14:36Speaker 3: got the number that's connected with the credit card. And uh,
- 14:40Speaker 3: you know, I wouldn't be calling your number like this,
- 14:42Speaker 3: but the people are complaining about you guys on the
- 14:45Speaker 3: floor now, you guys are staying on and they're saying
- 14:48Speaker 3: that the sex is too the sex is too loud
- 14:51Speaker 3: coming from you all.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Wait, wait a minute, would you say.

- 15:45Speaker 3: We'll fix it.
- 15:47Speaker 5: What do you mean don't worry about it? You just
- 15:49Speaker 5: called me to tell me that basically, my husband is
- 15:53Speaker 5: having sex with someone at the hotel, and now you're
- 15:57Speaker 5: acting like I'm just supposed to act like this didn't happen. Hello. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 5: and I did hear you talking to the background. You
- 16:06Speaker 5: heard who I heard you?
- 16:08Speaker 3: Okay? Hold on, hold on, see you hold on again?
- 16:10Speaker 5: Please?
- 16:12Speaker 3: Uh?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Where are you at? Which is this? Which hotel is this?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Hold on for a second. Man, I didn't hit the myth,
- 16:20Speaker 3: but I didn't hit the whole buddy. No, she heard
- 16:23Speaker 3: everything we was talking about.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Oh no, what am I.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Supposed to say to her? The guy won't answer the
- 16:31Speaker 3: phone and his noise coming from the room all day
- 16:36Speaker 3: all right?
- 16:37Speaker 2: Hello?
- 16:39Speaker 5: Uh?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Dominique, This Dominique. I want to apologize. We
- 16:44Speaker 3: thought we were called.
- 16:46Speaker 5: My apology is not going to do it. I can
- 16:48Speaker 5: solve the problem for you. What's your address? Tell me
- 16:51Speaker 5: your address.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I'm not at liberty to give that information.
- 16:57Speaker 5: This is some books, some real books. Can you put
- 17:00Speaker 5: your manager on the phone or something?
- 17:03Speaker 3: I mean, religion is actually in a meeting right now.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I don't.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Something. I just want to say. I just, I truly apologize.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I mean I thought I was calling the person that
- 17:14Speaker 3: was in the room. I'm really really I don't know
- 17:17Speaker 3: what to say if.
- 17:18Speaker 5: There is nothing to say, unless you're gonna give me
- 17:20Speaker 5: your address right now so I can be on my
- 17:22Speaker 5: way over there.
- 17:24Speaker 3: What city are you at?
- 17:25Speaker 5: Don't worry about where I'm at. I can get to
- 17:28Speaker 5: you and his you know what, I'm gonna call this
- 17:31Speaker 5: mother myself and he better wait a minute, your whole situation, okay,
- 17:38Speaker 5: right now?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Okay, but well you wait because you're gonna mess right,
- 17:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna lose my job.
- 17:42Speaker 5: I go about your job right now. Bro, you told
- 17:46Speaker 5: me that my husband is some other in your hotel?
- 17:51Speaker 5: Do you think I care? So? What's your address though?
- 17:54Speaker 5: I can see on my way?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Okay, okay, okay, let me just call him. No, no, no, no,
- 17:59Speaker 3: my manager coming down now.
- 18:02Speaker 5: Your manager is available? How convenient?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Okay, So I don't just talk.
- 18:07Speaker 5: I don't want to talk to your manager.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Okay, I thought you wanted to talk to the manager.
- 18:11Speaker 5: I'm pissed off right now. So either you're gonna give
- 18:14Speaker 5: me your address?
- 18:16Speaker 3: Can I put this is my manager, Tommy? Can I
- 18:19Speaker 3: put Tommy on the phone?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Sure? Hey, Dominique, Yes, this is telling Okay Tommy, what's
- 18:27Speaker 5: going on? Your worker called me to tell me that
- 18:32Speaker 5: my husband was having sex in your hotel too loud?
- 18:36Speaker 5: And I asked this address and he won't give it
- 18:38Speaker 5: to me. And I'm on my way down there, and
- 18:41Speaker 5: I'm about to call my husband since he won't answer
- 18:43Speaker 5: your call. And I did hear him talking to you
- 18:46Speaker 5: in the background?
- 18:47Speaker 3: Okay? Well did you hear who he was talking to? No?
- 18:50Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Okay, he was talking to me. But do you know
- 18:53Speaker 3: who I am? No?
- 18:55Speaker 5: I don't and I don't really care.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But do you know to me at all?
- 19:01Speaker 6: Do I know Tommy?
- 19:02Speaker 3: No? Do you know tom No? Okay? Do you know

- 21:30Speaker 2: We had a good hurt talking to this woman at
- 21:33Speaker 2: this time talking about I noticed might sounds stupid, just embarrassed.
- 21:40Speaker 1: All right now yah yeah, anyway, Steve, you guys are
- 21:48Speaker 1: going to talk about this year's election on Tuesday and
- 21:50Speaker 1: her plan to keep moving America forward not backwards from
- 21:56Speaker 1: VP Harris and Steve at the top of the hour.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Can't wait for that, but right now it is time
- 22:01Speaker 1: to ask the CLO our chief love opposite, Steve Harvey.
- 22:06Speaker 1: This is from a mayor in Hollywood, A mere right.
- 22:09Speaker 1: My girlfriend is divorced, and she lives in the same
- 22:12Speaker 1: house that she and her husband lived in together. I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: going to propose, but I'm holding back because she expects
- 22:18Speaker 1: me to move into that house with her. Would you
- 22:21Speaker 1: move into that man's house?
- 22:23Speaker 2: No, I ain't doing it though, calling memories around there,
- 22:30Speaker 2: you know, all on the steps up against refrigerator.
- 22:35Speaker 1: We're not moving the steps in the refrecht.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'm just trying to trying to figure out where all
- 22:40Speaker 2: they've been.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You know, of course you are.
- 22:46Speaker 2: No, I'm not. I'm just that, ain't me.
- 22:48Speaker 1: So she should sell the house, they should buy another one.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I can't tell this woman what to do.
- 22:55Speaker 2: It's her house. I'm just telling you what I'm not
- 22:57Speaker 2: going to do. I'm not going to move in the
- 22:58Speaker 2: house today. She don't just of the dude, I'm not
- 23:00Speaker 2: fin to do that. I'm just too strong of a
- 23:04Speaker 2: man for that. I just I'll get I'll wait, we'll
- 23:07Speaker 2: we'll leave here till I till we can get our
- 23:09Speaker 2: own Come on, boy.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Okay with me? What if they got what if he
- 23:13Speaker 1: stayed in the home and they totally redecorated, it renovated.
- 23:20Speaker 2: In the hell. No, I don't give a damn paid off. No,
- 23:27Speaker 2: I don't know what y'all talking about. Well wait, if
- 23:29Speaker 2: it burned to the ground and they rebuilt it, we're
- 23:31Speaker 2: not staying in that slam, all right.
- 23:34Speaker 12: But if it's a house like Steve and it's paid off,
- 23:39Speaker 12: got conditions, we don't have to work this night.
- 23:44Speaker 6: All right.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Dead.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Moving on to a raven in Jersey City, Raven Rights.
- 23:54Speaker 1: My husband uses all of my products and I hate it.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I got him in care products for men, but he
- 24:01Speaker 1: still uses my expensive stuff. So I repurchased everything on
- 24:06Speaker 1: his credit card, and he was furious. If he's going
- 24:09Speaker 1: to use it too, why can't he pay for it?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Simple questions.
- 24:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know what the problem is. No,
- 24:19Speaker 2: I mean, but I don't see why he won't pay
- 24:21Speaker 2: for it. He was furious. That don't make no sense.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and she bought him his own and he still
- 24:28Speaker 1: used her.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Bru, you're using her stuff. She reused your credit card
- 24:33Speaker 2: and rebought everything, and he's furious, Bru, you can what
- 24:39Speaker 2: you pay for. Your wife used expensive stuff because expensive
- 24:42Speaker 2: stuff good.
- 24:43Speaker 9: It worked.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yeah, he likes it.
- 24:46Speaker 3: It worked.
- 24:48Speaker 2: You don't know. If you don't want the expensive stuff,
- 24:49Speaker 2: you don't then there with just iverory soap. What is
- 24:51Speaker 2: you all over him? That's what just like when you
- 24:57Speaker 2: put it out man at that and then you ain't
- 25:00Speaker 2: got to worry about the y'all in this moten brown
- 25:02Speaker 2: and all this here when this is just twenty six
- 25:05Speaker 2: dollars a bottle bus some squirt. So they'll go down
- 25:11Speaker 2: there and get this Irish spring quick playing with us.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I was springing nice to smell good, big giant bottle.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I got something for the ranch man, because when I'm
- 25:20Speaker 2: down at the ranch, I use Irish man. I went
- 25:23Speaker 2: to a store one time, was not stove, but I
- 25:27Speaker 2: went to Amazon. They got heavy man, you can order whoo.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Why do you keep telling us about Amazon?
- 25:33Speaker 3: We know.
- 25:35Speaker 2: We just not start getting pack you know. Hey, you
- 25:38Speaker 2: still get detergent on Amazon. You can soap powered in
- 25:42Speaker 2: a box.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah, they got it all all right. So moving on
- 25:48Speaker 1: to Cameroon in Monroe cameraon rights. I've been married for
- 25:52Speaker 1: four years and again this year my family overlooked my
- 25:56Speaker 1: house for the Thanksgiving dinner. My auntset is cause we're young.
- 26:00Speaker 1: But I'm starting to think they don't like our cookie.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Should I confront them on the group text.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I don't think you need to go to a group
- 26:08Speaker 2: text with this one. You young, yeah, young, you can't
- 26:12Speaker 2: cook Everybody know it. This is what it's once a year,
- 26:18Speaker 2: ain't nobody. We can't risk this, This wasn't down. Does
- 26:25Speaker 2: people looking forward to this? You got aunts and stuff
- 26:29Speaker 2: in your family, specializing stuff, know how to make dinner roads,
- 26:34Speaker 2: know how to make the dressing that that green that
- 26:39Speaker 2: you know it's a certain way. They won't they yams,
- 26:41Speaker 2: you know, and you're all in here, you all on YouTube, cooking,
- 26:44Speaker 2: all on on Instagram, trying new stuff. Not to nobody
- 26:54Speaker 2: eating that and anybody trying this ain't the time to
- 27:03Speaker 2: be healthy to experiment.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta have some time to cheat on your diet.
- 27:14Speaker 1: So just leave it alone. You're saying, just leave that alone.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Lady, you know why. The ain't not swing anybody.
- 27:22Speaker 1: But what if what if she does ask on the
- 27:24Speaker 1: group texts, what is the response going to be?
- 27:27Speaker 2: What are you well since you asked, told you to
- 27:34Speaker 2: leave it alone, because you know, she'd have participated in
- 27:40Speaker 2: the low way, because like sometimes they have, like everybody
- 27:42Speaker 2: bring a certain dish. She'd have bought her dish three
- 27:45Speaker 2: years and the rope different dishes. They done, moved her around.
- 27:48Speaker 2: They got her now down to the popsiccle track. That's
- 27:51Speaker 2: what they want her braid at the kids table. When
- 27:59Speaker 2: you got took off jello. That's an emotion, all right,
- 28:07Speaker 2: lest one, You down to utensils and bottled water.
- 28:10Speaker 1: That's last one, Steve, This is from May and Columbia, May.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 28:19Speaker 1: So I went to a sneaker ball with my man
- 28:21Speaker 1: and he doesn't dance, so I danced with one of
- 28:23Speaker 1: his friends. He didn't say I couldn't dance with him,
- 28:26Speaker 1: but now he's mad that I did. Why didn't he
- 28:29Speaker 1: stop me before I did?
- 28:30Speaker 5: It?
- 28:30Speaker 1: Is this an ego thing? And why is he mad?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Why is he mad?
- 28:40Speaker 2: I mean it was how you was dancing, Yeah, smiling
- 28:49Speaker 2: up in the back and looking back over your shoulder.
- 28:52Speaker 9: All your sneakers sweating.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, come back to the table, girl, you're free. He
- 29:01Speaker 2: got it.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I'm hot.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Yeah, all that that's what it was. Yeah, you probably
- 29:08Speaker 2: y'all probably don't need to go dancing no moment, so
- 29:12Speaker 2: because he can't dance.
- 29:14Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Celo. Coming up next, Vice President
- 29:17Speaker 1: Kamala Harris and the one and only Steve Harvey. Right
- 29:21Speaker 1: after you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Hey, listen, everybody. I told you we'd have a special
- 29:31Speaker 2: guest today, but I'm being joined right now, and I
- 29:35Speaker 2: want you to listen to me carefully by the only
- 29:37Speaker 2: candidate that has delivered some real progress for Americans and
- 29:42Speaker 2: especially for black Americans, and it's going to continue to
- 29:46Speaker 2: do so as the next president of the United States.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Now listen to me. There is no choice when it
- 29:52Speaker 2: comes to fighting for a new way forward because we
- 29:55Speaker 2: are not going back. So today our special guest is
- 30:00Speaker 2: the current Vice President of the United States. But if
- 30:02Speaker 2: everything goes right and we do our job, and we
- 30:05Speaker 2: get to these polls and we early vote, and we
- 30:08Speaker 2: continue to take somebody to the polls with us, we
- 30:10Speaker 2: will be talking to the next president of the United States.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Thanks and general, please welcome Vice President Kamala Harris, Welcome
- 30:17Speaker 2: back to the show.
- 30:19Speaker 6: Thank you, Steve Harvey.
- 30:20Speaker 3: It's good to be back with you.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Thank you so very much.
- 30:23Speaker 2: You know something, this campaign is tough. I got to
- 30:27Speaker 2: tell you you. You're a tough lady. How's it going.
- 30:32Speaker 2: You look strong? Are you doing well all out there?
- 30:34Speaker 5: How you feeling I'm feeling good.
- 30:37Speaker 6: I have to tell you, I've been traveling our country
- 30:41Speaker 6: and I'm just you know, there are so many good
- 30:43Speaker 6: folks feed you know this, who care about the future
- 30:47Speaker 6: of our country, who love our country, and who are
- 30:49Speaker 6: determined to make sure that they get both to the polls.
- 30:53Speaker 6: I've been, you know, going to a lot of beautiful
- 30:56Speaker 6: churches where the pastors are leading souls to the polls.
- 31:01Speaker 6: I've been meeting with our young people who are first
- 31:03Speaker 6: time voters, who are coming out in incredible numbers because
- 31:07Speaker 6: they know what to stakes for their future. But there's
- 31:10Speaker 6: a whole lot of optimism out there, and I think
- 31:13Speaker 6: it's because people understand, you know, there's a very big
- 31:16Speaker 6: decision to be made, but a huge contrast between Donald
- 31:19Speaker 6: Trump and myself, and I think people want to turn
- 31:22Speaker 6: the page on his era of divisiveness and channing the
- 31:26Speaker 6: flames of hate. They want a new way forward that's
- 31:30Speaker 6: about optimism, and there I say joy, But also I'm
- 31:34Speaker 6: prepared to do the hard work. That's about bringing down
- 31:36Speaker 6: the cost to groceries, bringing down the cost of housing,
- 31:39Speaker 6: and focusing on the needs of our small businesses and
- 31:42Speaker 6: so much more.
- 31:43Speaker 2: You know, you said something here that people in this election,
- 31:48Speaker 2: there's a choice between two different versions of the future.
- 31:53Speaker 2: And I'm telling you, I mean you look, if you
- 31:56Speaker 2: need it any more proof that that rally the other
- 31:58Speaker 2: night in Madison Square, gud Shit gave you all the
- 32:01Speaker 2: information you needed to know about the real differences here.
- 32:04Speaker 2: You and Governor Watts are fighting for a new way forward.
- 32:09Speaker 2: You're talking about protecting reproductive freedoms for women, for strengthening
- 32:14Speaker 2: our democracy, and you want every person to have an
- 32:17Speaker 2: opportunity to get ahead. But let's focus on this that
- 32:21Speaker 2: I've never seen done and in my life. You came
- 32:25Speaker 2: up with a real plan to help Black Americans. Specifically
- 32:30Speaker 2: you target and specifically you targeted African American men. I've
- 32:37Speaker 2: never seen that in that Can you go over some
- 32:39Speaker 2: of the points. I don't want to put your on
- 32:40Speaker 2: the spot, but can you go over some of the
- 32:42Speaker 2: points that you've made for Black Americans.
- 32:46Speaker 6: So first of all, let me just tell you that
- 32:49Speaker 6: I understand that. Listen, I'm going to be and I've
- 32:53Speaker 6: pledged to be a president for all Americans, but not
- 32:56Speaker 6: all people have been affected by issues the same way.
- 33:00Speaker 6: For example, in my agenda for black men, it includes
- 33:03Speaker 6: what we need to do around having a specific initiative
- 33:07Speaker 6: that is about black men's health because I know that
- 33:11Speaker 6: we have higher rates of calling cancer and prostate cancer,
- 33:15Speaker 6: and I want to make sure we're increasing education and
- 33:18Speaker 6: screening for black men doing understanding that sickle cell affects
- 33:22Speaker 6: black men at a higher rate. My approach is an
- 33:26Speaker 6: agenda that also includes focusing on small businesses. You know,
- 33:29Speaker 6: our small businesses range from the barbershop and a beautiful
- 33:33Speaker 6: on to tech companies, to clean energy companies to construction companies.
- 33:38Speaker 6: And part of my focus is on making sure that
- 33:40Speaker 6: our entrepreneurs are small business owners have access to capital
- 33:44Speaker 6: because unlike Donald Trump, who was given four hundred million
- 33:48Speaker 6: dollars on a silver platter and then file for bankruptcy
- 33:51Speaker 6: six times, not everybody has access to the capital. But
- 33:55Speaker 6: they've got good ideas, they have a serious work ethic,
- 33:59Speaker 6: and they have a product or an idea that actually
- 34:02Speaker 6: benefits the community. So my work is about one making
- 34:06Speaker 6: sure that we have twenty thousand dollars forgivable loans for
- 34:10Speaker 6: startup companies to be able to pay for the website,
- 34:13Speaker 6: because you know, you can't just rely on your cousin
- 34:15Speaker 6: to set up your website.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:17Speaker 3: You need a good.
- 34:17Speaker 6: Website that opens your product up to market. The forgivable
- 34:23Speaker 6: loans includes if you want to start up a company
- 34:26Speaker 6: where you need products or you need equipment, and that's
- 34:29Speaker 6: the reason why you can't be successful, that I want
- 34:31Speaker 6: to eliminate that obstacle. My plan is about knowing that
- 34:35Speaker 6: Black families are forty percent less likely to be homeowners,
- 34:39Speaker 6: so I'm going to make sure that we have twenty
- 34:42Speaker 6: five thousand dollars down payment assistance for first time home
- 34:46Speaker 6: buyers so they can just get their foot in the
- 34:48Speaker 6: door and get on the path to living the dream
- 34:52Speaker 6: of America. The American Dream, which also is about being
- 34:56Speaker 6: on the path to creating intergenerational wealth gender is. It
- 35:01Speaker 6: has a lot of aspects to it that are everything
- 35:03Speaker 6: from bringing down the cost of groceries to bringing down
- 35:06Speaker 6: the cost of housing, making home ownership within the grasp
- 35:10Speaker 6: of the American people, but also focusing on specific issues
- 35:14Speaker 6: that affect specific communities with a target of making sure
- 35:18Speaker 6: that we eliminate optacles to success and to wealth building.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I mean, it has been an amazing thing as I've
- 35:25Speaker 2: done my research, you know, and I've really really watched
- 35:28Speaker 2: what you've been about and what you've done. I became
- 35:31Speaker 2: more and more impressed. So it has a lot of
- 35:33Speaker 2: people because it really came to the forefront, you know,
- 35:37Speaker 2: when a lot of people were talking me, wow, I
- 35:38Speaker 2: misunderstood this about her. Because now people have had a
- 35:42Speaker 2: chance to do the research. When you talk about black
- 35:44Speaker 2: wealth is up sixty percent before the pandemic, when you
- 35:49Speaker 2: forgave over one hundred and sixty seven billion in student loans,
- 35:52Speaker 2: you're fighting for more. We are going to show up
- 35:56Speaker 2: at these polls in numbers that's going to startle them.
- 36:00Speaker 2: And I want you to know that you have a
- 36:01Speaker 2: lot of support that people aren't talking about. Right there,
- 36:07Speaker 2: not a vice president. We'll be right back with more
- 36:09Speaker 2: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 36:12Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:15Speaker 2: We're back with the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Our special
- 36:18Speaker 2: guest this morning is Vice President Future President Kamala Harris.
- 36:24Speaker 2: And here's a big one that people overlook sometimes over
- 36:27Speaker 2: sixteen billion dollars in investments in HBCUs and you're fighting
- 36:32Speaker 2: the lord the costs of HBCUs and double the value
- 36:35Speaker 2: of pay all grants. This is stuff you don't hear
- 36:37Speaker 2: a lot of people talking about But you've been on
- 36:41Speaker 2: these bills for years, and you've been fighting for these
- 36:45Speaker 2: types of progressive moves for all Americans, as you say,
- 36:49Speaker 2: but a lot of this affects black people specifically, And
- 36:52Speaker 2: I just wanted to say, I think that coming out
- 36:56Speaker 2: at this time has just been really, really beneficial for
- 36:59Speaker 2: your campaign.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Well, Steve, I have to tell you, I mean a
- 37:02Speaker 6: lot of my policies and priorities are based on personal experiences, right,
- 37:06Speaker 6: whether it be the importance of home ownership and knowing
- 37:10Speaker 6: how hard people work and save us trying to be
- 37:13Speaker 6: able to buy a home for their family, and you know,
- 37:16Speaker 6: I saw my mother struggle to do that and she
- 37:19Speaker 6: finally did when I was a teenager. Or what I'm
- 37:22Speaker 6: going to do around making for Medicare, help pay for
- 37:25Speaker 6: home health care for our seniors, knowing that, you know,
- 37:28Speaker 6: there is a part of all cultures, and certainly ours,
- 37:32Speaker 6: that you take care of your elders. But we have
- 37:35Speaker 6: a lot of folks who live in a Sandwich generation
- 37:37Speaker 6: who are taking care of their young kids and their parents,
- 37:40Speaker 6: and they need help. My focus on HBCUs is a
- 37:44Speaker 6: lot of it has to do with the fact that
- 37:46Speaker 6: as an HBC A proud hbc you graduate. I know
- 37:49Speaker 6: that our HBCUs are centers of academic excellence, but don't
- 37:53Speaker 6: always have the kind of resources that other colleges and
- 37:57Speaker 6: universities have, and they need that kind of support, So
- 38:01Speaker 6: you're right, I mean, or even the work that I've
- 38:03Speaker 6: done on black maternal mortality, which affects not only women
- 38:08Speaker 6: but the men who love them that their husbands, their sons,
- 38:12Speaker 6: their fathers. So these are areas of work for me.
- 38:16Speaker 5: As you said, that.
- 38:17Speaker 6: Has been long standing. Is not just because I'm running
- 38:19Speaker 6: for president. My whole focus on black men and opportunity
- 38:24Speaker 6: around financial opportunity was long before I started running for president.
- 38:28Speaker 6: It's a lifelong commitment.
- 38:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 38:30Speaker 2: And also especially in the battleground states, You've been doing
- 38:34Speaker 2: these men hudd up events across the battleground states. Yes,
- 38:37Speaker 2: and this really shows a commitment to address specific needs
- 38:41Speaker 2: of black men.
- 38:42Speaker 5: That's right.
- 38:43Speaker 6: Well, Listen, I know how folks have been overlooked, and
- 38:48Speaker 6: I'm very proud of what we've done over the last
- 38:51Speaker 6: four years to bring down black unemployment to historic loans.
- 38:57Speaker 6: But you know, I also understand and know that it
- 39:01Speaker 6: should be a baseline that everybody's working and has a job.
- 39:06Speaker 6: What people also wanted the opportunity to create wealth. People
- 39:09Speaker 6: want the opportunity to be able to go on vacation
- 39:12Speaker 6: from time to time and buy their kids, you know,
- 39:15Speaker 6: the kinds of Christmas gifts that they want.
- 39:18Speaker 2: Okay, hey, let's stop for just one second. We got
- 39:21Speaker 2: to take a quick break, and we'll be right back
- 39:23Speaker 2: with more of the President of the United States, which
- 39:27Speaker 2: I'll be saying that next week. Right after this.
- 39:30Speaker 9: You're listening morning show.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Oh, we're back, and our special guest this morning, as
- 39:37Speaker 2: you very well know, is the current Vice President of
- 39:40Speaker 2: the United States. We're going to continue our conversation here.
- 39:43Speaker 2: We'll pick up where we left off. You know, you
- 39:46Speaker 2: spoke about uplifting people, and that leads me to this
- 39:50Speaker 2: right here, your opponent, Donald Trump. I've seen it, and
- 39:57Speaker 2: I've been on my radio show preaching it over and
- 40:00Speaker 2: over and over. He has been a complete failure for
- 40:04Speaker 2: Black America. And he's running a racist campaign with a
- 40:08Speaker 2: racist agenda that will give him unprecedented power to roll
- 40:12Speaker 2: back all of our rights and freedoms. It's gonna hurt
- 40:15Speaker 2: the middle class, gonna threaten our democracy. If the Trump
- 40:18Speaker 2: Vans Project twenty twenty five agenda will be a complete
- 40:23Speaker 2: disaster for Black America.
- 40:26Speaker 6: What do you say to that, Well, you're right, and
- 40:30Speaker 6: anybody listening should go and google Project twenty twenty five.
- 40:34Speaker 6: They will eliminate the Department of Education and head Start.
- 40:38Speaker 6: They will make it more difficult for workers to get
- 40:42Speaker 6: over time pay.
- 40:44Speaker 5: And that's on top of what he will do to
- 40:49Speaker 5: get rid of Medicare.
- 40:51Speaker 6: Get rid of the ability of Medicare to negotiate drug
- 40:54Speaker 6: prices against the big pharmaceutical companies, get rid of Look
- 40:58Speaker 6: at Project twenty twenty five. It would get rid of
- 41:01Speaker 6: the thirty five dollars a month cap on insulin for
- 41:04Speaker 6: our seniors. Black folks are sixty percent more likely to
- 41:07Speaker 6: be diagnosed with diabetes. To your point, Steve, it is
- 41:12Speaker 6: this is an election of consequence. And on the one side,
- 41:16Speaker 6: you've got Donald Trump, whose policies are not about lifting
- 41:19Speaker 6: up hard working people. You've got Donald Trump, who, way
- 41:23Speaker 6: back from the beginning of his career when he was
- 41:25Speaker 6: a landlord, refused to rent to black families, who took
- 41:29Speaker 6: out a full page ad in The New York Times
- 41:32Speaker 6: calling for the execution of five young Black and Latino
- 41:37Speaker 6: children who were innocent the Central Park five somebody who
- 41:42Speaker 6: called the first black president of the United States to
- 41:44Speaker 6: call them out and claimed he was not born in
- 41:47Speaker 6: the United States, birtherism, and then most recently as it
- 41:51Speaker 6: relates to legal black immigrants in Ohio, said they were
- 41:56Speaker 6: eating their pets. This is who he is. And I
- 41:59Speaker 6: think know, when you look at his character, you got
- 42:02Speaker 6: to understand. You know, it's one thing for him to
- 42:05Speaker 6: have his name on a building in Vegas. It's a
- 42:07Speaker 6: whole other thing to think about him having the power
- 42:11Speaker 6: of the presidency to either lift people up or push
- 42:16Speaker 6: people down and tear people down. And this is the
- 42:18Speaker 6: choice that people have.
- 42:20Speaker 5: And Steve I would I would.
- 42:22Speaker 6: Press this point also, I would ask your listeners to
- 42:26Speaker 6: just know that, you know, if.
- 42:29Speaker 5: You are a hard work in person, if you have.
- 42:31Speaker 6: Aspirations and goals but you didn't inherit what you've got,
- 42:35Speaker 6: you got to know you're not really in Donald Trump's club, right,
- 42:40Speaker 6: He's not. He's not going to sleep at night thinking
- 42:43Speaker 6: about how he's going to take care of your grandmother
- 42:45Speaker 6: or grandfather. He's looking out for people like him. When
- 42:49Speaker 6: he was president, he pushed and accomplished tax cuts for
- 42:54Speaker 6: billionaires and big corporations and as president again if he
- 42:58Speaker 6: were elected, which you will note, he would do the same.
- 43:03Speaker 6: So I asked people to look at who do you
- 43:05Speaker 6: believe is actually going to be there fighting for you,
- 43:09Speaker 6: and I think based on character and performance, the choice
- 43:13Speaker 6: is clear.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah. For us, you know, the choice is crystal clear.
- 43:17Speaker 2: I've been just pounding it daily, daily on the radio show.
- 43:22Speaker 2: When you hear slogans like, you know, blacks for Trump,
- 43:25Speaker 2: I've been asking people because I can't get a person
- 43:27Speaker 2: to call in to show me how Trump is for blacks.
- 43:30Speaker 2: I mean, I'm you can create any slogan you want to,
- 43:33Speaker 2: but let's back it up with something. I just the
- 43:35Speaker 2: facts are all in the rally at Madison Square Garden, Man,
- 43:40Speaker 2: I was just sitting there, man, just going this. I
- 43:44Speaker 2: watched the whole collage of statements. This is one of
- 43:47Speaker 2: the worst campaigns I've seen. And you are holding up
- 43:53Speaker 2: incredibly strong. You're in the last few days of this campaign.
- 43:57Speaker 3: This is the week.
- 44:00Speaker 6: It's November fifth. Who's the November fifth?
- 44:03Speaker 2: What's this looking like for you? Man? And Vice president?
- 44:06Speaker 6: I intend to win, Steve Harvey, and it's going to
- 44:10Speaker 6: be because people don't let themselves be silenced and they
- 44:16Speaker 6: will get out and vote. And you know, we know
- 44:19Speaker 6: our voice is our vote and our vote is our power.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Hold on one second, we'll be right back. Everybody with
- 44:24Speaker 2: more Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 44:27Speaker 9: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show.
- 44:31Speaker 2: All right, everybody, We're back, and our special guest this
- 44:33Speaker 2: morning is Vice President Kamala Harris are soon to be
- 44:37Speaker 2: president of the United States. Let's continue the conversation. Mounta
- 44:43Speaker 2: Vice President, I got to tell you something. It has
- 44:46Speaker 2: been a pleasure to represent you and to stand up
- 44:51Speaker 2: for you and to be able to stand up for
- 44:53Speaker 2: you based on so many facts. I mean, just the
- 44:56Speaker 2: quality of person you are. The decision is real c
- 45:00Speaker 2: I mean for a lot of us.
- 45:02Speaker 6: What I am seeing as I travel the country is
- 45:05Speaker 6: that people refuse to be silent and then not going
- 45:09Speaker 6: to fall for the okie. Do people know the difference
- 45:12Speaker 6: between fact and fiction and who's going to actually be
- 45:16Speaker 6: fighting for them? And look, I am not perfect. I
- 45:21Speaker 6: will make mistakes, but I will work around the clock
- 45:26Speaker 6: on behalf of the people who deserve to be seen
- 45:29Speaker 6: and heard and uplifted. That is the work I have
- 45:33Speaker 6: done in my career. That is the work I will
- 45:35Speaker 6: continue to do. I've only had one client in my
- 45:37Speaker 6: life to people, and that's who I fight for. And
- 45:41Speaker 6: so my agenda really is about an opportunity economy, that's
- 45:46Speaker 6: about helping to lift people up, but again also recognizing
- 45:50Speaker 6: the disparities that have existed. And we talked as an
- 45:53Speaker 6: example about home ownership as one point of reference, so
- 45:58Speaker 6: you know, or for example, my work on a increasing
- 46:00Speaker 6: access to capital for small businesses is also based on
- 46:03Speaker 6: an understanding and knowledge that only one percent of venture
- 46:07Speaker 6: capitalists investment go to black owned businesses, right, So we
- 46:12Speaker 6: have to recognize where the disparities exists and see how
- 46:16Speaker 6: we can create public policy in a way that takes
- 46:19Speaker 6: those into account.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Well, and and I think there's going to be a
- 46:24Speaker 2: surprise next week because they haven't counted on really you know,
- 46:29Speaker 2: they never really poll us anyway, but they haven't counted
- 46:32Speaker 2: on really how bright of a people we are, and
- 46:36Speaker 2: how and and and and and how shrewd we can be.
- 46:39Speaker 2: And we proved it in the last election. But we
- 46:42Speaker 2: are going to show up at these polls in numbers
- 46:45Speaker 2: that's going to startle them. And I want you to
- 46:48Speaker 2: know that you have a lot of support that people
- 46:51Speaker 2: aren't talking about. But you got some people back here.
- 46:55Speaker 2: That's that's that's stomping strong for you on these yards
- 46:58Speaker 2: around here, and all still want you to know this too.
- 47:01Speaker 2: We know it's been tough for you, and the spiritual
- 47:04Speaker 2: people have been praying for you because they know what
- 47:07Speaker 2: you're up against. So I just wanted to give you
- 47:09Speaker 2: that vote of encouragement and tell you to keep keep
- 47:13Speaker 2: up the good fight. You're a wonderful candidate. I couldn't
- 47:17Speaker 2: be prouder, and you know you're Look look the way
- 47:21Speaker 2: you handled him in the first debate. This this is
- 47:24Speaker 2: why there have been no more debates because that please
- 47:29Speaker 2: be no, they're not gonna do that. You you exposed
- 47:34Speaker 2: too much because the low i Q statement. To even
- 47:39Speaker 2: say that right there, it's crazy to me because I
- 47:43Speaker 2: was looking at it on TV. So congratulations, Madame.
- 47:48Speaker 6: Harvey, and thank you for the time, and thank you
- 47:51Speaker 6: for your voice and your leadership always and the friendships.
- 47:54Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Hey, We're gonna get you through it, all right, all right,
- 47:59Speaker 2: all right, for sure, lads and gentlemen, the future president
- 48:03Speaker 2: of the United States, President Kamala has gonna sound good.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Might as well say it? Now?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Who President right there talking drop the Mica vote.
- 48:19Speaker 2: You know, no, team said no. I mean, you know,
- 48:26Speaker 2: you know, I wanted her to understand that she has
- 48:31Speaker 2: told a lot of support. You know, she said at
- 48:35Speaker 2: the beginning, you know, we're going to win next week.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And I just was saying, you know, if we get
- 48:41Speaker 2: out and we do our job and we go to
- 48:43Speaker 2: the polls and we take people to the polls, you
- 48:45Speaker 2: know that we we can we can win this thing
- 48:48Speaker 2: right here. And we talked about how clear of a
- 48:51Speaker 2: choice it was. It wasn't one of the talking points,
- 48:53Speaker 2: but I bought up the Republican uh, the Trump rally
- 48:57Speaker 2: at Madison Square Garden, it clearly showed you who they
- 49:02Speaker 2: really are. I was, I was, I was stunned. Man.
- 49:08Speaker 5: I was.
- 49:10Speaker 2: The level.
- 49:16Speaker 1: And she's the polar opposite of that.
- 49:19Speaker 2: And you know what, I was surprised Doctor Field said
- 49:23Speaker 2: some stuff because I watched this entire interview, because I've
- 49:27Speaker 2: known this guy, you know, We've been out on vacations
- 49:30Speaker 2: and run up in each other, and I like this guy.
- 49:34Speaker 2: And I was surprised at him saying Donald Trump is
- 49:38Speaker 2: here because he's here because Donald Trump is not a bully.
- 49:42Speaker 2: But what is I mean? And his description of what
- 49:47Speaker 2: makes a person a bully was a description of Donald Trump.
- 49:51Speaker 2: He was saying that a person's not a bully if
- 49:54Speaker 2: you don't have a come from a position of power.
- 49:57Speaker 2: That's all he uses is the threat of his power
- 50:01Speaker 2: to push people around.
- 50:03Speaker 9: And then he.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Said celebrities shouldn't be endorsed in stuff because they don't
- 50:09Speaker 2: know nothing about policy and they don't know nothing about
- 50:12Speaker 2: the issues. He said, and why am I up here?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Because I was thinking the exact same thing. He says, Well,
- 50:19Speaker 2: because at least I'm willing to admit we don't know. No, man,
- 50:23Speaker 2: that's not true. Okay, if celebrities don't know nothing about
- 50:27Speaker 2: issues and policy, what does the common voter know? We
- 50:31Speaker 2: all are talking about our vote. And Doctor Field said,
- 50:35Speaker 2: you know, I don't agree with everything anybody says. Nobody
- 50:39Speaker 2: agrees with it. Why are you uphill man? Yeah, it's
- 50:43Speaker 2: what I kept saying, if you are counterbalancing everything you say.
- 50:46Speaker 2: And then I watched Doctor Field because I know him.
- 50:49Speaker 2: He was drinking water as soon as he got out there.
- 50:51Speaker 2: He was nervous. He had that bottle of water. You've
- 50:55Speaker 2: never seen doctor phild take sip water on his show
- 50:58Speaker 2: thirty five year.
- 51:00Speaker 1: His appearance shocked a lot of people, though, doctor phil.
- 51:03Speaker 2: I was very shocked.
- 51:06Speaker 7: It wasn't necessary, like you up there if you don't
- 51:10Speaker 7: really agree with if this is not your guy.
- 51:13Speaker 2: Like that, this is what you don't agree with everything
- 51:16Speaker 2: he says. You're up there because he's not a bully,
- 51:20Speaker 2: and you do your description of a bully described him
- 51:24Speaker 2: and then you said celebrities don't know issues and all policy, okay,
- 51:31Speaker 2: And he said.
- 51:32Speaker 1: It is insulted.
- 51:33Speaker 7: The vice president of the United States, called her names,
- 51:37Speaker 7: insulted her all of these things.
- 51:39Speaker 12: That's definitely apparently doctor Phiel has never been bullied before
- 51:43Speaker 12: because he just don't know what it looks.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I was really, I was really that, I was. I
- 51:53Speaker 2: was surprised.
- 51:55Speaker 1: A lot of people were surprised about his appearance there. Anyway,
- 52:00Speaker 1: back on message, Steve, your interview is great with the
- 52:04Speaker 1: vice president. Congratulations out on that. And if we do
- 52:07Speaker 1: our part, she will be our next president for sure.
- 52:11Speaker 1: She is working so hard. Oh she is so proud
- 52:14Speaker 1: for it, and she's she does it so joyously, you know,
- 52:19Speaker 1: with joy. I just love her her serving the peace.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, go vote vote vote vote all right,
- 52:32Speaker 1: coming up next it is my Strawberry letter. We're gonna
- 52:35Speaker 1: switch gears here. The subject is I'm not sure whose
- 52:38Speaker 1: baby this is. We'll get into it right after this.
- 52:41Speaker 1: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. It's time now for today's
- 52:46Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. And if you need advice on relationships, work, sex, parenting,
- 52:51Speaker 1: and more, please submit your Strawberry letter to Steve HARVEYFM
- 52:54Speaker 1: dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be
- 52:57Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 53:00Speaker 1: going to read this one right here, right now, and
- 53:03Speaker 1: you never know, it could be yours.
- 53:05Speaker 2: It could be yours. Buckle up and hold on time.
- 53:07Speaker 2: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Aleta.
- 53:11Speaker 1: A thank you nephew. Subject, I'm not sure whose baby
- 53:15Speaker 1: this is. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm writing in to get
- 53:18Speaker 1: some advice for my brother because he's been duped by
- 53:22Speaker 1: his wife. She's been in and out of his life
- 53:25Speaker 1: for years and doing whatever she wanted to do in
- 53:27Speaker 1: the marriage. He told us that his wife has never
- 53:30Speaker 1: cheated on him, but I beg to differ because their
- 53:33Speaker 1: baby came out looking like he's the son of Colonel Sanders.
- 53:37Speaker 1: We call him light Bright because he is not getting
- 53:40Speaker 1: any darker. My brother is a caramel colored and his
- 53:44Speaker 1: wife is a little bit lighter than he is, but
- 53:48Speaker 1: not as clear colored as the baby. My brother said
- 53:51Speaker 1: they got a DNA test done, but he didn't follow
- 53:54Speaker 1: up with the results because he knows it's his baby.
- 53:57Speaker 1: He's a sucker for his wife, and I can't stand
- 54:00Speaker 1: to see him mistreated. She's always with her Caucasian best friend,
- 54:05Speaker 1: and I think that girl's brother is the baby daddy.
- 54:09Speaker 1: I called my sister in law about a month ago
- 54:11Speaker 1: and I told her I want to sit down with
- 54:13Speaker 1: her and go over the DNA test with her. She
- 54:17Speaker 1: acted a fool and told me if I came close
- 54:19Speaker 1: to her house, she'd have me arrested. That sealed the
- 54:22Speaker 1: deal for me, and I'm going to get my own
- 54:25Speaker 1: test done the next time my mama keeps the baby.
- 54:28Speaker 1: My mom said that they have some Caucasian people down
- 54:31Speaker 1: the line and their family, but those would have had
- 54:34Speaker 1: to be some strong jeans to make the baby this pale.
- 54:37Speaker 1: I know you're probably thinking I should mind my business,
- 54:40Speaker 1: but wouldn't you want your brother to know what's up?
- 54:43Speaker 1: And what's worse is he might know and he's overlooking
- 54:47Speaker 1: the facts because he wants to please this woman and
- 54:50Speaker 1: be a good dad. If he is happy, should I
- 54:53Speaker 1: let it go or should I try to help him
- 54:55Speaker 1: see the light? You already answered the question in your letter,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and I know, I know you care and you want
- 55:03Speaker 1: the best for your brother. I get it. I have
- 55:05Speaker 1: a brother that I love very very much. But you
- 55:08Speaker 1: cannot want more for him. This grown man brother of yours,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he wants for himself. You said, this woman his wife,
- 55:16Speaker 1: has been in and out of his life for years.
- 55:19Speaker 1: He takes her back every time, and this time with
- 55:22Speaker 1: a baby that may or may not be his. So
- 55:25Speaker 1: her bad behavior is nothing new to him. Okay, he
- 55:28Speaker 1: knows exactly who she is. As hard a as it
- 55:32Speaker 1: is for you to sit back and watch all of
- 55:34Speaker 1: this go down, this is none of your business. Like
- 55:37Speaker 1: you said in a letter, this is between a husband
- 55:40Speaker 1: and wife period. I know you want to know if
- 55:43Speaker 1: the baby is really your niece or nephew, but your
- 55:45Speaker 1: brother has already accepted the baby as his. So if
- 55:48Speaker 1: you interfere now and get the DNA results on your own,
- 55:52Speaker 1: when the baby comes to live with your comes to
- 55:54Speaker 1: stay with your mom, please just keep it to yourself.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Your brother obviously wants this baby. He wants to be
- 56:01Speaker 1: a good dad. He's claiming the baby. So what is
- 56:04Speaker 1: your meddling gonna do. I'll tell you what it's gonna do.
- 56:08Speaker 1: It's really gonna drive a wedge between you and your brother,
- 56:11Speaker 1: and you may or may not be able to bounce
- 56:13Speaker 1: back from that. So I say leave it alone.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Sis.
- 56:17Speaker 1: He doesn't want to know the truth if the baby
- 56:20Speaker 1: is not his, and he's saying the baby is his,
- 56:23Speaker 1: So this is his decision, not yours. Stay out of it, Steve,
- 56:28Speaker 1: I could go so.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Many different directions with this letter. Surely nailed it for me.
- 56:34Speaker 2: I mean, stop, you said it in your letter. It's
- 56:38Speaker 2: none of your business. You're taking up a case that
- 56:42Speaker 2: your brother not even taken up. Yeah, you so worried
- 56:47Speaker 2: about who baby this is. You're more worried about it
- 56:50Speaker 2: than your brother. You know, you think he been duped
- 56:54Speaker 2: by his wife. He may very well have been. She's
- 56:59Speaker 2: been in it out of his life for years. The
- 57:01Speaker 2: ass probably the case, and she's done whatever she wanted
- 57:05Speaker 2: to do within the marriage. You might be able to
- 57:08Speaker 2: verify improve all that he told you all his wife
- 57:11Speaker 2: ain't ever cheated on him. You beg to differ. You
- 57:14Speaker 2: think it's not true because the baby came out looking
- 57:17Speaker 2: like Colonel Sanders. Now that's some Benjamin Butt's ass statement
- 57:21Speaker 2: right there. You're trying to tell me this baby looked
- 57:23Speaker 2: like an old white man. That's what you're trying to
- 57:25Speaker 2: tell me. I don't think so. But if that's what
- 57:29Speaker 2: you want to do to try to clarify your point,
- 57:31Speaker 2: then find your brother is caramel colored and his wife
- 57:34Speaker 2: is a little bit lighter than he is. Wait a minute, now,
- 57:37Speaker 2: it ain't a dog skinned person in this letter so far.
- 57:42Speaker 2: And you mad cause the baby pale, and you on
- 57:46Speaker 2: this color spectrum that you working on the color spectrum,
- 57:51Speaker 2: We can't help you because we don't know what color
- 57:53Speaker 2: you're talking about. You're talking about caramel, lighter than that
- 57:56Speaker 2: brighter light, bright pale. You using all these terms. You
- 58:01Speaker 2: just don't like the lady what it seemed like to me,
- 58:04Speaker 2: and that's what your focus is. And you know he's
- 58:08Speaker 2: a sucker for his wife. I can't stand to see
- 58:10Speaker 2: him mistreated. You know she's always with her caucasian's best friend.
- 58:15Speaker 2: And I think that girl's brother is the baby daddy.
- 58:20Speaker 2: You don't put a whole story together. Then you said,
- 58:23Speaker 2: I called my sister in law and told her I
- 58:26Speaker 2: wanted to sit down with her and go over to
- 58:28Speaker 2: DNA test with her. You got a lot of nerves.
- 58:33Speaker 2: I got to tell you something. You got a lot
- 58:34Speaker 2: of nerve. I know you got cussed out. I know
- 58:38Speaker 2: you got cussed out because, first of all, you gonna
- 58:42Speaker 2: sit down and go over the DNA test with her.
- 58:45Speaker 2: It's not your DNA test. And she cut up a
- 58:49Speaker 2: fool and came and said if I came close to
- 58:51Speaker 2: her house, she'd have me arrested. Well, that's the only
- 58:54Speaker 2: deal for me. I'm gonna get my own test done
- 58:57Speaker 2: next time. My mamna keep the baby. Mama said, they
- 59:00Speaker 2: got some Caucasian people down, girl, Where are you going
- 59:04Speaker 2: with all this? If they happy, why are you in it?
- 59:10Speaker 2: But I have the perfect solution when we come back,
- 59:13Speaker 2: all right, I know exactly what this is about. When
- 59:16Speaker 2: we come back all right.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Steve, we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 59:21Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter
- 59:25Speaker 1: subject I'm not sure whose baby this is. We'll try
- 59:30Speaker 1: and get to the bottom of it with part two
- 59:32Speaker 1: of Steve's response coming up right after this, you're listening
- 59:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 59:40Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I'm not sure
- 59:43Speaker 1: whose baby this is.
- 59:46Speaker 2: We have a problem in this letter right here. We
- 59:50Speaker 2: got a woman that's so damn nosy. She's upset that
- 59:54Speaker 2: she feels her brother's wife, who has been in and
- 59:58Speaker 2: out of the marriage, is using him and mistreating him.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: All of this could be true. They got a baby,
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: and you don't think the baby is his because the
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: baby came out looking like Colonel Sanders. He caramel colored,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: and his wife is a little bit lighter than him,
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: and the baby lighted in both of them. So damn what?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: But you all up in it now? You want to
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: have your own DNA test done. You don't threaten the girl,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: ask her because you come over to the house and
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: sit up with her and discuss the DNA test. She
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: went off on you, cussed you out, told you if
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: you come anywhere near the house, she have you arrested. Well,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: that's sealed the deal for you, because now you're gonna
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: get your own DNA tests done. Next time your mom
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: over there keeping the baby, you go over there and
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: swab the baby mouth girl, what's wrong with you? Your
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: brother ain't saying? Now, your brother said they did a
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: DNA test, but he ain't followed with the roads were
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: followed with the results because he knows his baby. If
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: your brother want to go down that road, what what?
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: What is it to you? I know you're probably thinking
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: I should mind my business. You got that right, You
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: damn right about that. We all on that. But wouldn't
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: you want your brother to know what's up? Not if
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: he don't want to know. And what's worse, he might
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: know and he's overlooking the fact because he wants to
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: please this woman. And which is the other reason you
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: need to stay out of it. Because if that's his
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: reason for doing it, what you got to do with that?
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: If he's happy, should I let it go? I try
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: to help him see the light? My friends, phil is
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: their pointed duty. They keep trying to tell me that
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: all you want to do is use me. But my
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: answer to all that used me stuff is I just
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: want to spread the news that if you feel this
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: good getting you, or you just keep on using me
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: until you use me up.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: Bill Withers wrote a song about this called use Me
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: My Brother that this is in this case, is your system? Yeah,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: my brother, he's sitting me right down, and he talked
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: to me.
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: He told me.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: That I ought to not let you just walk on me.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: And I'm sure he meant with him. Yeah, But when
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: I talked was through. I said, brother, if your only you,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: you the wish that you will in my shoes, or
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: you just keep on using me until you use me. Huh. Lord,
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: that was a jail. It explains this whole time. But
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: then he even came to this. He even says, sometimes
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: it's true. You really do abuse me. You get me
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: in a crowd of high class people and you act
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: real rude to me. I've hurt the baby when you
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: love me. I can't get enough at all talking about
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: you using people. It all depends on what you do.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: It ain't too bad the way you're using me, because
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: I sure am using you to do the things you do.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: Do you understand what's happening here? Bill Withers did, and
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: he wrote a song about it. Use me and just
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: keep on using me until you use me up. That's
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: what this this letter is about. I have nothing else
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: to say to you. He liked what's happening to him
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: there's nothing you can do about it. She doing some
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: things in him back in the house. You're not gonna
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: be able to count it. With the little white baby.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Nothing else?
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: What else?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: What else you got?
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: The baby whit?
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Yes, this is what families do though.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Well we at the house though, have you seen what
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: she do to me? Hm, I'm talking about you're talking
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: about the baby look like Colonel Sanders. I'm telling you
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: this is good as his chicken. This this is frangle
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: licking good. You're up in here. You you owe me
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: by something that they fit the change I'm telling you
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: right now, Franngle looking good. I'm not going nowhere. I
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: don't give a damn who babies. I know the baby
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: was born with a little black boat town on. I
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: saw it. I know the baby half white.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: I know it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I know the baby looks like it ought to be
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: on the side of a bumpet.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: The chicken, I got that.
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: But have you tasted her chicken?

- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Is it safe to travel out of the country. A
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: female listener wants to know Steve, she needs your advice.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: All right, Steve, this is from Melinda in Austin. She says,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I'm forty two and I've never been out of the country.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: My husband is paranoid and thinks if we leave the
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: US we might not get back in. I assured him
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: that people do it all the time, but he says
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: things might be different after the election. Should I wait
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: before we plan to go to Jamaica?
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: She raises a good point. Oh, if Donald Trump win
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: and you Muslim, I would be concerned.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Okay, that's really sad.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: It is that it's crazy. It don't make no sense.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: But lose your fear of travel. Travel is wonderful. You
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: can get outside the state, you can see that world
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: is a much bigger place and no other opinions. Lose
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: your fear. You can't grow unless you go, So understand that.
- 1:10:11Speaker 9: Okay, that's all.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: He's old school. I used to never want to go
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: no way either, so I understand. But when once you
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: go and you see the world, that's a wonderful place.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: You want to go all the time. Okay, we have
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: another one, Steve. This is from D and Laurel D says.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: My boyfriend had back surgery and he stayed with his
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: mom after his surgery. I went to see him yesterday
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: and there was a woman in the kitchen with his mom.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: His mom introduced us, but didn't say if she was
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: a relative or not. I stayed in the back with
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: my boyfriend for about an hour until his mom said
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: it was time for him to eat. The girl was
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: still there, So should I have asked why he was there?
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: Why she was there?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Late?
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: For that?
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: Will know? Yeah, it's one question you need to be
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: asked the girl that was in there, was she fine?
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: That is your only know she was fine? And if
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: she was fine, you could know this for a fact.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: It was not a couzin.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: She got introduced, but she just said this is so
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: and so and so and so, this is They didn't
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: have any titles.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: I'm suppo to say you're related to the family, or
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: how do they know you something? Yeah, who the hell
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: is you? Hell?
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a way she could have said that was this, Mama,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: is she in this kitchen?
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Who is you?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: And then if mama would have said, well, I let
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: him tell you.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to ask Ronnie.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: When when the mama says that, then you're not in this.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I'm not in this baby.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: He said, Ronnie, Ronnie, and there ron who is this
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: in the kitchen? But you didn't ask Ronnie who it was?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, why didn't you ask your man?
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: It's so cool because she was scared. She was. Yeah, she.
- 1:12:10Speaker 9: She didn't want to know.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what all it is.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: That's another question.
- 1:12:16Speaker 10: Why your ex girlfriend in the kitchen with your mama?
- 1:12:19Speaker 10: That's another question. Ask that one.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Yes, go right in there and ask Ronnie who was
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: that in the kitchen with your mom.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Well, you know you didn't know. Nobody knew Junior that
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: it was the X. But it has X has possibilities
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: written either way X or current. We got a problem.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Well she's supposed to be the current.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: But but you're saying, Steve, she should have asked. She
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: should have taken the opportunity and not this. I don't
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: know how she didn't to ask exactly.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I don't know how she waited on the letter.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe she was in shock, she was.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Maybe maybe maybe after she saw her she went in
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: the room. And I don't need to know this right,
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: let me just try.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, she didn't want to know, and she's tight with
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: mama to yeah you have lost yes, So bottom line,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: she should have asked either the mom, the.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: Woman or your man. Yeah wow, yeah, somebody I'll tell
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: you got out of this from clean though. Ronnie, Ronnie
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: there on his back. Ronnie got out of this from
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: clean because he ain't have to answer no question because
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: now Ronnie got to do it. Who?
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: Yeah, who are talking about?
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: Who?
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I ain't been in the kitchen, in the kitchen, I
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: ain't been in the kitchen, been in his rooms?
- 1:13:47Speaker 10: Who was in there?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Give me my pain killers. I don't know what you're
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: all right? Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: after this, she fields a pain you're listening.
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: Morning show?
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: All right, guys. With less than one week left before
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: election day, on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris's message is clear.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: She's urging voters to embrace national unity by rejecting Trump's
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: plan to keep us the American people divided and afraid
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: of each other. The Vice President has promised to put
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: country before party and above self. We have got to
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: get out and vote early. Voting is still going on,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and we got to do it. If you haven't done it,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: what are you waiting on? What are you waiting on?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: What a wonderful message?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Hasn't it?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Moving forward message? Based on what you've been hearing, I
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: don't know how you can vote for out. Yeah, she's
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: so positive, she's so uplifting, she's so brilliant with it
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: and tireless.
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: I just watched the negativity that's viewed out of the
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: last Donald Trump rally. It's just a stark difference man,
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: such negative overtone. She's the anti Christ y'all know, good
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: and well on this woman ain't no antich Christ? Well,
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: what are you the same? Are you kidding me? And
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: then you picked this butt of a comedian who you
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: knew who he was. Now you're trying to too late
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: cat out the bag. He said everything and he pissed
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: a lot of people off.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Oh yes see yes, yes, oh yeah, yes, yes.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Really upset man?
- 1:15:35Speaker 9: Oh yeah, areakans?
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: We got to get out and vote. That's it all right?
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and we'll
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: play a round of would you rather? Right after this.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: It it's time out for a round of would you rather?
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Would you rather live in a house with no windows?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Or a house with no doors?
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: No?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: When no doors?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: No windows? Got the head on the junior, I'm having windows.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I don't even know.
- 1:16:07Speaker 10: Go and we ain't got kids in there.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: You just have these flying up in there.
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: Ball.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: I'm not doing any climb in my house every time
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: over this damn wall. Getting me here? All right, let's go, everybody,
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: come on, give me your foot man, I'm not finna
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: do this I'm tired. It's one o'clock in the morning.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: I gotta climb over this damn wall and get in
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: my own man, Man, come on, all this work to
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: get in here? Give me and on my shoulders. But
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: you mean you can't reach it? Jump stop, get your
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: take your heels off now all right?
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Would you rather throw a Halloween party for thirty kids?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Or would you rather have thirty relatives over for Thanksgiving dinner?
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: I got the second one. I got more than that
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: on things you got the kids might be easier.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Situation thirty kids.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I'm throwing the Halloween party for their kids.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: You don't want your relatives over thirty thirty?
- 1:17:12Speaker 9: Nope?
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: At at at twelve we we are in into I
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: don't give a damn about you this.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: You have a big family. I love your family.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Relatives? Number two?
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Right after twelve? Everybody after that.
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: Fact?
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Would you would you, guys, rather not so cute? Be
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: not so cute with a great body? Okay, listen carefully, guys,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: would you rather be handsome with a bad body?
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Well, none of us have any of that. Yeah, why
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: do we keep getting portions of Egypt? Okay? Charlie said,
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: Charlie say them again. Okay, that's Tommy Junior and Steve.
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: Cool and with not a great body. Okay, that's all though,
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: or handsome with the best body none of us, or
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: handsome with the bad bodies. Tom just that's just Tomy.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: You can't even get out this one. We got this?
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: What was the first one? Again?
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Not so cute with a great body?
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: You didn't that. I ain't that. I ain't say you
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: got a great What is the second?
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Handsome with a bad body.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: Either though, Yeah, you ain't handsome. Hello, now we come.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: I'm handsome, but I don't see. Yeah, you do have
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: bad body. Dog, I'm telling you tell me. In order
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: to have a good body, you must have enough body.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: Wait a minute, what I'm too small? If that was
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: a cigaurine?
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Allright, we'll close up a show with the one and
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: You're listening morning show? All right, Steve, here we.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Are, last break of the day. What an exciting day.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Thanks to the VP and the next President of the
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: United States of America. If we vote Kamala Harris for
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: being our your very special guest today, Steve, that was wonderful.
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: Interview. This woman is poised. Yes, this woman's of extreme
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: high I Q. You know, I listen to them spread
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: their lives. I watched these white men get up and
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: constantly say she is of low I have you listened
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: to how intelligent this woman is. Have you seen her
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: track record? Do you know what school she went to?
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: What degrees she have? You just can't be that. It's amazing, man,
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: how she takes pride in who she is and what
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: she's done and where she's from. It's amazing the standard
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: that they're trying to hold this woman to when he
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: don't have to, he don't have to clear one bar.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: It's amazing the hurdles that they have her having to
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: prove herself under when this guy has not proven himself
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: under one. And I was astonished at the rally of
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: how many of them people stood up there and said,
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: we love this country. I bet you do. I bet
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: you do, because it's just the way you want it.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: We would like to love the country, too hard of
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: a country that don't love us back man, you know,
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: I was listening. I was listening to them talk about
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: when that song plays, how they stand, how the song plays.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: They put their hand over their heart when the song
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: plays how they recite the lyrics and I go, yeah, okay, yeah,
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: we want to do that too. But the song don't
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: include us, the Constitution don't include us, and y'all keep
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: coming up with policies to exclude us. And now y'all
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: have brushed this one under the rug. But I'm not
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: gonna let you do it. The Project twenty twenty five
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: is really really the issue that Donald Trump is going
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: to stand on, and he's made the promise to them.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: The blatant lie he told about he don't even know
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: the guy, the picture of him sitting on his private plane.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? Project twenty twenty five is their issue.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: They're going to get rid of Medicaid, They're going to
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: roll back Social Security, they're going to get rid of
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: this cap and insulin at thirty five dollars they've already.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: They want to get rid of the educational program and
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: get rid of startup. Do you understand what they are after?
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: They are after basic rights, which the Constitution is supposed
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: to ensure. But no, no, no, no, no no no
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: no no no, not basic rights for everybody, not for
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: the downtrodden, the poor and the people that's on the
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: come up. Look, man, we have got to get to
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: these polls. It's gold time. It's no more messing around.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: The decision is made. The choice is obvious. I don't
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: understand what you're listening to. If you're not voting for
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: this woman, you're ignoring it. I watch them ignore they
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: say it. At his rally, nobody agrees with everything. Everybody says, Yeah,
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: we don't agree with everything. What you're voting for him for.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: If you don't agree with him what you're voting for
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: him for, if he's made so many mistakes, what you're
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: voting for him for, because mad and Vice President Kamala
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: Harris ain't allowed to make no mistakes none. Hey man,
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: look listening or this. We got to get to these
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: polls and vote. I don't give a damn how you
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: feel about me. I'm not voting for him, no, because
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: I don't want my grandchildren looking up. And that's the
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: president of the United States. I'm telling y'all, man, I
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: just don't understand it. No, I don't agree with a
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: lot of stuff he said. I find very little I've
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: ever agreed with that he has said. I can't find nothing.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: I didn't like the banning seven Muslim countries. You know
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: you're talking about building the walls. Stop being hypocritical. Your
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: friends really can't stop their Your friends need all these
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: workers because they make them richer. Y'all need to stop this. Man.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: You need to make a way forward for citizenship. You
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: need to make a way forward for people to find
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: a way to come into this country and become productive citizens.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: That's what you need to find a way for it.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Because the majority of the people who come over here
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: are hard working people who are looking for a better
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: life to support the people that they leave behind. That's
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: what I found to be most of the cases. Most
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: of the crimes committed in our country are committed by
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: our citizens. These are facts. Our prisons are filled with
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: mostly people who reside here. These are y'all tripping sick
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: of this this mess.
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: I'd be so glad when it's over with, but I
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: needed to be over with and the and the end
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: result is Kamala Harris is the president. That's what we need.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, you in for a real
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: sugar honey ice tea show. If Donald Trump becomes president,
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: you are in for the real sugar honey ice tea show.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: You fitness. See it, man, And if you think we're kidding,
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: watch that. I don't. Man, I hope I'm wrong about this.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: We got to go vote, folks, and right now I'm
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: talking directly to black people because I'm one of them.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: We got to go to the polls and vote. We
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: got to stop this because we do not need to
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: see what he really gonna do. Because Project twenty twenty
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: five is on the table. We got to put a
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: stop to this. Let's get to the polls and vote.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: Come on, y'all, y'all have a great day. Talk to God.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: He'd love to hear from me, but he really loved it.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: If you voted,
