- 0:27Speaker 1: for st Please, I don't join jo. You gotta turn
- 1:10Speaker 1: you're going to arm. You gotta turn to turn out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn You lon't got to turn out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water go. Come come on your thing, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve hart
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. M Yeah, I do. Man.
- 2:16Speaker 1: God been so good to me over the years, in
- 2:19Speaker 1: spite of all the mistakes I've made, in spite of
- 2:22Speaker 1: all the dirt I've done to myself. I'm talking about
- 2:27Speaker 1: when in no one I was wrong, His grace and
- 2:31Speaker 1: mercy has forgiven me for all of my sins. God
- 2:37Speaker 1: can forgive you of all of your sins, everything you've done,
- 2:42Speaker 1: God can forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Might you might have some you know, things you got
- 2:50Speaker 1: to deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repent.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:08Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:11Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now. And then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever,
- 3:36Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going if it ain't the truth,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know if you're trying
- 3:50Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system, if you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, He
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breath before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice. Because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with. He's too great to be played with.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And so with that in mind, I want to share
- 4:12Speaker 1: some positive stuff with you. This smarty man, I want
- 4:14Speaker 1: to say this now. I want to remind you not
- 4:17Speaker 1: to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your future
- 4:23Speaker 1: or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This is
- 4:27Speaker 1: important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations dictate
- 4:34Speaker 1: your future or your results. Do you know that in
- 4:39Speaker 1: order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:47Speaker 1: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:52Speaker 1: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:55Speaker 1: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 5:00Speaker 1: totally different for two different people, because you can say
- 5:03Speaker 1: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 1: look in your neighborhood. How can There was a book
- 5:08Speaker 1: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:11Speaker 1: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:14Speaker 1: he found a guide that grew up at the same age,
- 5:17Speaker 1: in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact same name.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He went on to become a corporate CEO. The other
- 5:25Speaker 1: man was an inmate and they had the same name,
- 5:32Speaker 1: grew up in the same neighborhood. They were both brothers,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you know not I'm just saying brothers men. And they
- 5:40Speaker 1: grew and they went to different Because how can two
- 5:43Speaker 1: different two people the same situation and the results turn
- 5:47Speaker 1: out so different. It is because of the thought process
- 5:50Speaker 1: of one was completely different from the thought process of
- 5:53Speaker 1: the other. You control it. You don't have to let
- 5:55Speaker 1: your circumstances and your situations dictate your future or your results.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Here's the way it works. This is so you can
- 6:04Speaker 1: understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling factor of your thoughts.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Your thoughts are the controlling factor of your outcome. The
- 6:15Speaker 1: Bible says a man is as he thinketh. Please don't
- 6:20Speaker 1: short play this scripture here, because this one is the
- 6:23Speaker 1: real deal. This is the basis of every self improvement
- 6:28Speaker 1: book you'll ever read. It's already written in the Bible.
- 6:32Speaker 1: The Bible has all the information you need. But in
- 6:34Speaker 1: case you need a little bit of clarity in some
- 6:36Speaker 1: simple modern day language, then they have self improvement books.
- 6:40Speaker 1: They are all based on Biblical scripture. A man is
- 6:44Speaker 1: as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent Peale wrote the
- 6:47Speaker 1: book The Power of Positive Thinking That's why a book
- 6:51Speaker 1: came out called The Magic of Thinking Big. That's why
- 6:54Speaker 1: a book came out called Think and Grow Rich by
- 6:57Speaker 1: Napoleon Hell. That it all of you. All these titles
- 7:01Speaker 1: that I've read that have mattered in my life the most,
- 7:04Speaker 1: These three major books that I've read, they all say
- 7:07Speaker 1: one thing. Think, thinking thoughts, because that's what controls the outcome.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Your brain works one of two ways. It works positive
- 7:20Speaker 1: or negative. It works good, which is under the column
- 7:25Speaker 1: of positive, or to work evil, which is under the
- 7:28Speaker 1: column of negative. It will have faith, which is under
- 7:33Speaker 1: the column of positive, or you will operate in fear,
- 7:37Speaker 1: which is in the column of negative. That is the
- 7:40Speaker 1: only way your mind works. Your mind is a factory
- 7:44Speaker 1: that's comprised of workers. Those workers are controlled by two formings,
- 7:50Speaker 1: forming positive and forming negative. But guess what the CEO
- 7:55Speaker 1: of the company, the head, man, the boss is you.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You come to work in the morning and you say, man,
- 8:04Speaker 1: today is a great day. I'm going to take steps
- 8:08Speaker 1: towards brightening my future. I'm going to take another step
- 8:12Speaker 1: into making that dream come true that I've been thinking about.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna take another step forward in the development and
- 8:18Speaker 1: the changing of my life in a positive, good direction.
- 8:22Speaker 1: If you come to work and say that every day
- 8:24Speaker 1: as the CEO, the boss, the formans can only obey you,
- 8:29Speaker 1: so that what you just said was a series of
- 8:32Speaker 1: positive statements then forming positive steps to the forefront. He said,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I got your boss right away. He turns around, He
- 8:39Speaker 1: blows the whistle. He alerts all the workers in the
- 8:43Speaker 1: factory today as a good day. Today, we will take
- 8:46Speaker 1: steps towards our future. Today we are putting ourselves on
- 8:50Speaker 1: track to get a little bit closer to making our
- 8:53Speaker 1: dreams come true. Today we will be assembling all the
- 8:57Speaker 1: things we need to make our dreams come true and
- 9:00Speaker 1: life better in the right direction. Everybody break. The workers
- 9:04Speaker 1: in the factory turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify
- 9:10Speaker 1: the orders given by the boss, which is you. You
- 9:14Speaker 1: are the CEO of your corporation. If you don't own
- 9:18Speaker 1: nothing else, you own everything that's going on between your
- 9:22Speaker 1: two ears. You are the CEO of that corporation. If
- 9:25Speaker 1: that corporation is a good one, it's because you set
- 9:28Speaker 1: it up that way. If your corporation is a bad one,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's because you set it up that day. If you trying,
- 9:34Speaker 1: if you pushing towards your dreams and you see the
- 9:37Speaker 1: possibility of things happening in your life is because you,
- 9:40Speaker 1: as the CEO, set it up that way. If you
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't got nothing popping, if you just want to be
- 9:45Speaker 1: a criminal taking stuff from people, throwing your life out
- 9:47Speaker 1: the window, you're gonna be an inmate. You're gonna be
- 9:49Speaker 1: sitting there there and you're gonna be mad at everybody.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You got nobody be mad at. But shoot, you understand
- 9:54Speaker 1: what I'm telling you this morning? Huh you're listening to show,
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Without further ado, I would like to
- 10:05Speaker 1: start the show now a sap or, in the words
- 10:10Speaker 1: of my daddy, rat now, I want it done. Rat now, Daddy,
- 10:16Speaker 1: when you want rat now? Yeah, Daddy, when you are
- 10:21Speaker 1: When I said, he never gave me a straight answer, man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I was my father. Man. I think that has a
- 10:28Speaker 1: lot to do with the how I am today. My
- 10:31Speaker 1: father never gave me a straight answer. It was always
- 10:35Speaker 1: to make you think about what you said. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: see good morning, Shirlette, Carl Up Mississippi, Monica Junior, and Tommy,
- 10:47Speaker 1: We're gonna I'm gonna give you an example of how
- 10:49Speaker 1: my father was this morning. Anyone can ask me a
- 10:52Speaker 1: question as a child, I'm going to respond to you
- 10:56Speaker 1: as how Slick Harvey did it? Carl? Daddy? What were
- 11:02Speaker 1: having for dinner tonight? What's your mama cooking? But is
- 11:09Speaker 1: it chicken? We're gonna have? It? Can be, buddy? Is
- 11:13Speaker 1: it chicken? It could be? Buddy? Is it right? The
- 11:15Speaker 1: question is what is your mama? What is we having
- 11:18Speaker 1: for dinner? And what are your mama cooking? What we've
- 11:20Speaker 1: been to have? That ain't answer nothing, But Daddy, I
- 11:24Speaker 1: still don't know. You ain't got to know. You'll know
- 11:30Speaker 1: when she put it on the plate. All you gotta do.
- 11:35Speaker 1: What what we watching on TV? Tonight? What's on it?
- 11:38Speaker 1: Good time? Good time? Good time? Yeah? What time? Do

- 11:47Speaker 1: ain't a good time for me? The baseball game gonna be?
- 11:55Speaker 1: So are we gonna watch the baseball game? Then? What
- 11:58Speaker 1: you think we're gonna watch? If I want to watch
- 12:00Speaker 1: a baseball game and you want to watch good time?
- 12:02Speaker 1: What do you think we fit to look at? Well?
- 12:04Speaker 1: You got the TV? You watch what you want to watch?
- 12:07Speaker 1: That is it? Daddy? That is it? Next question? Hey, daddy,
- 12:12Speaker 1: can we go outside and you can play with me.
- 12:15Speaker 1: D Well, you go outside. I gotta go to work. Now.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You can't play and work at the same time. You're
- 12:25Speaker 1: gonna find that out in light. Okay, yeah, Can we
- 12:31Speaker 1: get a pool? Can you get a pool? Or what
- 12:38Speaker 1: a swimming pool? Like? Like the kids down the street
- 12:40Speaker 1: they got a pool? Can you got and put kids
- 12:43Speaker 1: down the street? Gut swimming pool? They got a on
- 12:46Speaker 1: the top of the ground pool? Uh? Running them? Who
- 12:50Speaker 1: who running? And then Ronnie Dixon them got a pool? Okay,
- 12:53Speaker 1: Well what you need one for running? Got one? If
- 12:59Speaker 1: you hunted, free go for the running poop. Hey, hey, daddy,
- 13:05Speaker 1: how come when I ask your stuff you always say
- 13:08Speaker 1: you gotta go to work. But then we don't never
- 13:10Speaker 1: have no money or nothing. What you mean you ain't
- 13:13Speaker 1: got no money. We don't have no money for nothing, daddy.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But that's called all your money for something? You eat
- 13:23Speaker 1: nat and groceries. You gotta go out there. That's what
- 13:27Speaker 1: we're paying for our health. I drive you to church.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That car costs money. All that money go for something.

- 13:48Speaker 1: time for the nephew to run that prank back. What

- 23:12Speaker 1: your boyfriend looking for out? Uh huh? And how he
- 23:16Speaker 1: using your brother's about That's your worst damn out I've
- 23:22Speaker 1: ever seen. But I think your problem is not your
- 23:25Speaker 1: brother and dating your boyfriend's cousin and ghosting her. The
- 23:30Speaker 1: problem is your boyfriend trying to blame you. He's looking
- 23:34Speaker 1: for an out. If I were you, I would pin
- 23:36Speaker 1: my ears back and be ready for the bounce because

- 24:45Speaker 1: it's just a text. Now, yeah, yeah, it's it's the wine.
- 24:49Speaker 1: It's over. It's the wine down, and you should prepare
- 24:53Speaker 1: for the wine down yourself. Maybe you need to get
- 24:56Speaker 1: the wind. That's too in a row. It's better to
- 25:00Speaker 1: be the winder than the wound she wounds, Steve. Yeah,
- 25:08Speaker 1: I would rather be the wine dirt than the wounder.
- 25:17Speaker 1: All right, So she needs to to start packing, is
- 25:20Speaker 1: what you're saying. Okay, Moving on to Pam in Milwaukee.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Pam writes, I made a huge mistake and slept with
- 25:28Speaker 1: a guy that is much better in bed than my husband.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Now I'm hooked and I don't want my husband to
- 25:34Speaker 1: touch me. If I go back to this guy one
- 25:37Speaker 1: more time, I want a divorce. How do I fight
- 25:41Speaker 1: this temptation? You ain't gonna win. Get the paperwork, you
- 25:46Speaker 1: ain't gonna we call the lawyer. Yes, you've already bought
- 25:51Speaker 1: up divorce. You don't want your husband touching you. So
- 25:56Speaker 1: now where we're at, it's over. It's going back over.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You got a song for it. It's over. The situation
- 26:14Speaker 1: old school dot jams Man. It's sometimes will come and go.
- 26:26Speaker 1: You reach for love a lifeful Let you know that
- 26:32Speaker 1: in the you'll stup be loving her. But now she's gone, baby,

- 27:24Speaker 1: That's the Joe to see jam right there? Yeah, what
- 27:36Speaker 1: done on that backside? It ain't but two of them
- 27:40Speaker 1: in there. That's Casey and Jojoe. That's Jojoe back there.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Casey was up front league one more time, hit it
- 27:52Speaker 1: away from me. Yeah. Yeah, see it's just two of
- 27:58Speaker 1: them Tommy, Okay, so you ain't father that Joe Joejoe
- 28:04Speaker 1: the lass noted Joe. Okay, it was flog. Think Casey's
- 28:12Speaker 1: park on slipping away from me? Yeah that yeah, yeah, Tommy.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Casey stayed harder than Joe Joe Jake hard by. Yeah,
- 28:32Speaker 1: Casey the little one that used to have a flip
- 28:34Speaker 1: half stout had the same house stay. She had one
- 28:37Speaker 1: one one, remember I had my flip. I can't wait
- 28:45Speaker 1: to see what a little boy looked just like a
- 28:47Speaker 1: sweet Poly on the door. Wait a minute, I looked
- 28:53Speaker 1: like sweet poly pure breds on the dog. That was
- 28:58Speaker 1: my car. That was my cartoon right there. Yeah, you
- 29:01Speaker 1: got you gotta google that hairstyle Junior. All right, coming up,
- 29:08Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:10Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're listening
- 29:13Speaker 1: to the Stry Morning Show. Recent headlines have claimed that
- 29:19Speaker 1: The Real Daytime Talk Show is being canceled, and co
- 29:22Speaker 1: host Lonnie Love, who is one of the hosts of
- 29:25Speaker 1: the show, issued a statement on Twitter to clear things up.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Lonnie tweeted, it's been a busy few days, but I
- 29:31Speaker 1: got a call from the studio. No official decision has
- 29:34Speaker 1: been made about the Real I will be okay, but
- 29:38Speaker 1: please give grace to the one hundred and fifty crew
- 29:40Speaker 1: members this may affect. We will finish season eight and
- 29:44Speaker 1: then wait for official word. So that's what Lonnie Love tweeted.
- 29:48Speaker 1: She says she's gonna be okay. Yeah, that's beautiful about
- 29:52Speaker 1: the cool Let me just make a statement from a
- 29:54Speaker 1: man who has been canceled on numerous Bokay, anytime there's
- 30:02Speaker 1: a rumor of cancelation, you start clearing out your dressing
- 30:07Speaker 1: rooms and sending stuff to the crib and stuff like that.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But the good thing about it is all those ladies
- 30:15Speaker 1: are really really talented and very very likable, and they
- 30:20Speaker 1: will be fine. And as I've always learned, and I
- 30:23Speaker 1: implore other people to incorporate this into your line of thinking.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Once a door closes, it is simply aside from God
- 30:31Speaker 1: that he wants you to walk up the hall. There
- 30:35Speaker 1: are always more doors. There ain't no one person in
- 30:39Speaker 1: control of No, don't Fox can close the door in NBC?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Can had I don't had the dough slammed in my face,
- 30:48Speaker 1: Thank you NBC, and close the door and slam it
- 30:51Speaker 1: and no problem. I understand that knocking. I didn't get
- 30:54Speaker 1: no letter writing campaign save me and all this here
- 30:59Speaker 1: ain't no problem. Let me walk on up the hall.
- 31:02Speaker 1: There's a door with ABC on it. Come on here,
- 31:05Speaker 1: mister Harvey. Listen, we were thinking about you doing this.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I don't want to do that. Well, what would you
- 31:11Speaker 1: like to do? I always had a dream of being
- 31:14Speaker 1: a judge on TV that hit. Thank you ABC. Yes, real,
- 31:20Speaker 1: walk up the hall and just keep and just keep
- 31:23Speaker 1: because it's some modos. Good words. Steve all right, moving on,
- 31:28Speaker 1: with the national average of gas prices at four thirty
- 31:31Speaker 1: three a gallon, we are feeling the pain at the pump,
- 31:35Speaker 1: yes we are, But now we have to worry about
- 31:37Speaker 1: our gas bens being stolen out of our cars. Criminals
- 31:40Speaker 1: are our targeting unattended vehicles and stealing gas by drilling
- 31:45Speaker 1: holes in the gas tank. The Surgeon gas prices are
- 31:48Speaker 1: one thing. Yeah, this is what's happening now in these streets. Okay,
- 31:52Speaker 1: the Surgeon gas prices are one thing, but the cost
- 31:55Speaker 1: to replace the gas tank is a whole lot more.
- 31:59Speaker 1: As the cost of gasoline continues to increase the cases
- 32:02Speaker 1: of fuel, theft from gas tanks will increase as well.
- 32:05Speaker 1: This is according to a spokesperson for Triple A. The
- 32:08Speaker 1: old way of stealing gas was to remove the gas
- 32:11Speaker 1: cap you remember this and siphon the gas out. But
- 32:14Speaker 1: newer cars prevent siphoning. Uh So, now thieves are drilling
- 32:19Speaker 1: holes in the gas tanks across the country and letting
- 32:21Speaker 1: the gas drain out into jugs or drip pans. That's crazy,
- 32:26Speaker 1: But I can tell you why. You ain't got to
- 32:28Speaker 1: replace your gas tape. All you got to do is
- 32:31Speaker 1: watch TV flex seals right now, that's that's I like it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: They cut a boat in half and put flex seal
- 32:42Speaker 1: on it and tele here. Well, I'm not put fire.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Hunt for a new tape Flex Cial nineteen ninety nine.
- 32:53Speaker 1: You get two plus two low for you. I love
- 32:58Speaker 1: the secret man. You're gonna get you. You're about to
- 33:02Speaker 1: get a commercial. Boy. Yeah, I'm gonna play live. Man.
- 33:05Speaker 1: You gotta stay out. You got no hood long replace
- 33:09Speaker 1: your gas? Take what fill up that hole? Yeah? New
- 33:18Speaker 1: taking it? He come back next week? Yeah right, yeah, true?
- 33:24Speaker 1: All right, thank you for that. I plug the hole.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Now tell him listen. If you back, I plug the hole,
- 33:31Speaker 1: so please use the same hole. Yeah. So we just
- 33:35Speaker 1: do this dance together. I know I'm gonna have to
- 33:37Speaker 1: buy you a taker gas. We mind, but we buying
- 33:42Speaker 1: no more new gas tape. Thank you. I'm just gonna
- 33:45Speaker 1: leave you some jugs game. Yeah, old boy, they need
- 33:49Speaker 1: for us gas tape quickly. All right. And moving on
- 33:56Speaker 1: to legendary actor Dick Van Dyke ninety six years old,
- 34:00Speaker 1: recently spoke candidly about his marriage to a much younger wife,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Arlene Silver, who happens to be forty six years younger
- 34:07Speaker 1: than Dick, Van Dyke. Yeah, Dick said that before they
- 34:12Speaker 1: got married, he wondered if his fans would scrutinize their
- 34:15Speaker 1: age gap. In a recent interview with Closer magazine, Dick
- 34:20Speaker 1: Van Dyke stated, I thought there would be an outcry
- 34:23Speaker 1: about a gold digger marrying an old man, but no
- 34:26Speaker 1: one ever took that attitude. He has reported fortune of
- 34:29Speaker 1: fifty million dollars, and back when he was married, back
- 34:33Speaker 1: when he married Arlene Silver, he was eighty one and
- 34:35Speaker 1: she was thirty five. Forty six year old. Age difference
- 34:38Speaker 1: is a big gap, big gap. What does the thirty
- 34:41Speaker 1: five year old woman see and an eighty one year
- 34:43Speaker 1: old man. That's how you do it, Dick, Dick, that's
- 34:48Speaker 1: how you do it. I want to say that a
- 34:49Speaker 1: long time. Yeah. I don't know why Dick Van Dyke
- 34:54Speaker 1: was worried about what his fans gonna say, because me personally,
- 34:58Speaker 1: I didn't even know he was steel here and most
- 35:02Speaker 1: his fans has gone, and I really didn't even know
- 35:08Speaker 1: he was able to marry. The judgment, there is no
- 35:12Speaker 1: judgment because we didn't know where you were. You ain't
- 35:17Speaker 1: been on nothing, you ain't on social medium. I knew
- 35:25Speaker 1: Sherley was fitting to say, Dick Van Dyke has passed.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Oh no, ain't on something? What? Oh what medication? He
- 35:36Speaker 1: did it? White was still on something. You ain't seen
- 35:40Speaker 1: Vandyke on a damn thing. You people's day don't even
- 35:45Speaker 1: know who he is? All right? Coming up at twenty
- 35:49Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, nephew, Tommy says, somebody's got to
- 35:52Speaker 1: say it, and it may as well be him. So
- 35:54Speaker 1: we're gonna wait to hear what it is with the nephew.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harpy Morning Show. So, Tommy,
- 36:02Speaker 1: you've been holding something in okay from all of us,
- 36:06Speaker 1: and you feel like somebody's got to say it. So oh,
- 36:09Speaker 1: he says, this am I allowed to come in? Yes?
- 36:12Speaker 1: Is your Joe? So so Tommy, what is it that
- 36:17Speaker 1: somebody's got to say? What is it? You know? This
- 36:20Speaker 1: is we can't say nothing. This is for the fellas
- 36:24Speaker 1: who can't say nothing. Tommy gonna gone and say it.
- 36:27Speaker 1: But this is that we can't say nothing. I come, ladies,
- 36:31Speaker 1: when we get ready to go somewhere. You're walking around
- 36:34Speaker 1: for two hours but naked, Tommy, you don't know what
- 36:38Speaker 1: you've been to wear. You've been knowing we're going to there,
- 36:41Speaker 1: but we can't say nothing. All right, you knew this
- 36:44Speaker 1: day was coming. You bought something for this. Now you
- 36:47Speaker 1: got a hundred different outfits laid out. Don't nothing fit,
- 36:51Speaker 1: don't nothing fit. But guess what, we can't say nothing.
- 36:54Speaker 1: We finally find something that you want to Now you
- 36:57Speaker 1: need help getting into what you want to wear. It
- 37:00Speaker 1: takes us thirty minutes, nineteen minutes to get you into
- 37:03Speaker 1: this outfit. Now we gotta help you. Now I am
- 37:06Speaker 1: completely wrinkled with the outfit I got on because I'm
- 37:09Speaker 1: trying to help you get in something that you should
- 37:12Speaker 1: not be trying to get into. Now, when I get
- 37:15Speaker 1: you in it, I got to take a shower and
- 37:17Speaker 1: start all over. But my clothes is wrinkled. But guess what,
- 37:20Speaker 1: we can't say nothing. Na. Now you you want to
- 37:24Speaker 1: put your makeup on in the car with all the
- 37:27Speaker 1: lights on, and I got to drive slow so I
- 37:30Speaker 1: don't hit no pothole and mess up your makeup. What
- 37:34Speaker 1: we can't say nothing. When we finally get down, we
- 37:37Speaker 1: are hour and a half late. I got to carry
- 37:40Speaker 1: your bag with your shoes in it because you want
- 37:43Speaker 1: to flip flop all the way to the front door.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Now you're gonna put your heels on, But I can't
- 37:48Speaker 1: say nothing. When we get into the spot that we
- 37:51Speaker 1: go into, Oh my god, everybody talking about how good
- 37:55Speaker 1: you look. Then somebody go ask me, what happened to
- 37:59Speaker 1: your clothes time? Why you look all rink? Oh my god,
- 38:02Speaker 1: you look like a mess. But we can't say nothing.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I said, still can't say nothing. What's the problem. I'm
- 38:13Speaker 1: just saying what you know what it is. I'm just saying,
- 38:18Speaker 1: we want to say it, but we can't say that.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I said, you said all that to say what, Yes,
- 38:23Speaker 1: the next party we go to, it's gonna be the same.
- 38:26Speaker 1: You know what it is. I didn't learn how to
- 38:29Speaker 1: tie a whole ponytail alone in the last few months,
- 38:32Speaker 1: but I can't skill. I took the whole towns of intology.
- 38:35Speaker 1: I know how to put off. I gonna wrap a
- 38:37Speaker 1: ponytail up now I know what I'm doing, But I
- 38:40Speaker 1: can't say that. Oh my god, you got to carry
- 38:43Speaker 1: this whole bag of shoes because she want to flip
- 38:45Speaker 1: flop all the way to the They're gonna hurt my feet.
- 38:48Speaker 1: They're gonna hurt my feet. I got to find a
- 38:51Speaker 1: way to open open up a weave shop because everybody
- 38:54Speaker 1: head down to the ass. I'm gonna give me some.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna give me I've been coming up, coming up
- 39:04Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour, Steve. This next
- 39:07Speaker 1: segment it is for you because it is lip Appreciation Day.
- 39:12Speaker 1: We'll be right back to talk to Steve right after this.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Come on, lifts. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:21Speaker 1: All right, guys, In case you didn't know, it is
- 39:23Speaker 1: a lip appreciation day today, Steve. People are paying big
- 39:28Speaker 1: bucks nowadays to get big, pouty lips, and you've been
- 39:31Speaker 1: blessed with you know, bigo, I ain't paid for these.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I paid for mostly in most of my lips cost
- 39:41Speaker 1: me in ridicule as a young child. I didn't pay
- 39:44Speaker 1: money for him. I paid for this in ridicule. See,
- 39:48Speaker 1: you've never walked into the classroom and seeing your silhouette
- 39:51Speaker 1: drew on a black board with your lips all the
- 39:57Speaker 1: way to the other end of the blackboard. Then any
- 39:59Speaker 1: time on, guess who this is? I know who the
- 40:02Speaker 1: hell it is. What I didn't need for y'all as women, see,
- 40:07Speaker 1: but all this ridicute, all the years old you. Oh
- 40:15Speaker 1: but I turned into a grown man. Yeah, I learned
- 40:20Speaker 1: what to do with these lips. Okay, Yeah, your love skills,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'm increase your love skills increased by eighty five percent.
- 40:32Speaker 1: That word eighty five percent. It's nothing I can't do
- 40:38Speaker 1: in the love department, Okay. Uh huh huh, nibbling, smacking, huh, pulling.
- 40:48Speaker 1: When your lips are large enough where you can bite
- 40:50Speaker 1: with your lips, huh, I can use them as teeth,
- 40:57Speaker 1: but with the benefit sold you that don't have lips,
- 41:00Speaker 1: stop trying. You can't do it. I can't bite with
- 41:03Speaker 1: my lips, but you can get injections. Sick. That's what
- 41:06Speaker 1: people do. Get injections. Now what you can get injections? People?
- 41:11Speaker 1: They can make them. Yeah, I can't swear lease up,
- 41:14Speaker 1: no mo, No, I wouldn't. I must. I must chapstick.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Do you go through though on a weekly two I'm
- 41:25Speaker 1: playing golf for three days at least and least two
- 41:31Speaker 1: chapsticks a day. That's a lot. That's driving them out.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Damn there every hole. I got to rechap up by
- 41:42Speaker 1: the time I get to the tea. Yeah, what about
- 41:44Speaker 1: soup like hot soup? How long does it take? Cool?
- 41:48Speaker 1: It instantly cool. It ain't hot long and I don't
- 41:54Speaker 1: let me say something my lips large. Now, well, I
- 41:56Speaker 1: don't have to cool about the spool. I could cool
- 41:58Speaker 1: the boat. See most people dip the spoon in and
- 42:03Speaker 1: blow it. No, no, no, I cooled the bowl. I
- 42:07Speaker 1: get the whole bowl cool. Any more questions, Well, I
- 42:11Speaker 1: was gonna say, so, you've never had to say I
- 42:14Speaker 1: earned my lips or nothing. You never had to do that.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Huh No. A lot of times the feeling don't get
- 42:19Speaker 1: back to the brain. They so far, like a bird
- 42:23Speaker 1: is on the tip of my limp, it doesn't register.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Was too much meat for the sensitivity to go through. Yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 1: on this limp appreciation day? What about whistling? What about
- 42:35Speaker 1: you know, just some people like to walk down the
- 42:37Speaker 1: street or whatever. Yeah, instantly, was ready, instantly, and I
- 42:48Speaker 1: whistled themes. I got the wisp appreciation day. Baby, that's
- 42:59Speaker 1: what all the way I could whistle list when I
- 43:01Speaker 1: was a little boy, that's Andy Griffin themes on. Yeah.
- 43:05Speaker 1: But let me ask you this. When you when you
- 43:06Speaker 1: were when you was a little boy and got in
- 43:08Speaker 1: trouble and your mom and dad said get your limp in,
- 43:11Speaker 1: what would you how did you I got slapped again.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I said, get your lips in, started lapping more. Get
- 43:26Speaker 1: your lips they en. I ain't gonna tell you no more.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Marma quick backhand in me they end, lips poke out. Okay,
- 43:36Speaker 1: get him in, pop, I said, get him in. How
- 43:42Speaker 1: old were you when you had your first kiss? It
- 43:45Speaker 1: was by accident? I was eight and I was in
- 43:48Speaker 1: church and I had to get out the aisle to
- 43:50Speaker 1: go to the bathroom, and sister Porter said, baby, you're
- 43:53Speaker 1: stepping on my shoe. And I turned around to say,
- 43:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but my lips touched hands. Kiss by accident,
- 44:06Speaker 1: your head lipstick on my little coming I'm next to
- 44:10Speaker 1: It is the nephew in the prank phone call for today.

- 45:27Speaker 1: on Sunday and I'm trying to get my one hundred
- 45:29Speaker 1: dollars back. Okay, what did you not get from your heart?
- 45:32Speaker 1: I gain from my heart what I thought was gonna happen,

- 45:45Speaker 1: y'all had this guest minister come in who I ain't
- 45:50Speaker 1: like him at all, but the dog the offering was
- 45:54Speaker 1: before he even got up to preach, so I didn't
- 45:57Speaker 1: already game my offering, which was one hundred dollars, and
- 46:01Speaker 1: I didn't even know Pastor what now you know what
- 46:03Speaker 1: I'm saying. So here I am giving one hundred dollars.

- 46:14Speaker 1: He was at Ruth the Viticus. He was all over
- 46:16Speaker 1: the place. I want to get my hundred dollars back.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I ain't given to that, sir. Do you not read
- 46:22Speaker 1: the bulletin? I mean, how often do you even come
- 46:24Speaker 1: to church? I come to church often. I mean what
- 46:26Speaker 1: the gout to do with any time? But if you
- 46:28Speaker 1: were coming up often to read the bulletins, so you
- 46:30Speaker 1: would have known that Pastor took a vacation. He took
- 46:34Speaker 1: a vacation so so everybody knew he wasn't gonna be there, yes,
- 46:38Speaker 1: or the regulars, the people that come regular the church,
- 46:40Speaker 1: they know that, sir. Okay, well I adn't know that.
- 46:42Speaker 1: So I need I need to get I need to
- 46:44Speaker 1: get my money back. Okay, but I need you to
- 46:46Speaker 1: do though. It's calmed down. I'm come. I'm just trying
- 46:50Speaker 1: to say, I want to get my hundred dollars. I'm
- 46:52Speaker 1: not giving that sermon I got on Sunday. I'm not
- 46:55Speaker 1: giving the one hundred dollars for that. Well, Sir, I
- 46:57Speaker 1: cannot give you one hundred dollars back. Okay. We don't
- 46:59Speaker 1: do no refund checks. I can't do that. Okay. I
- 47:01Speaker 1: have to wait to pass to get back in because
- 47:03Speaker 1: two people have to sign the checks. I can't even
- 47:05Speaker 1: do that for you, sir. Matter of fact, I'm not
- 47:07Speaker 1: even at work right now. Okay. So I am not
- 47:09Speaker 1: gonna get my one hundred dollars back. Okay, sir, why
- 47:12Speaker 1: don't you just call the church on tomorrow and then
- 47:14Speaker 1: we can go from there. Okay, I'm not calling. I'm
- 47:17Speaker 1: not calling the church tomorrow. I'll tell you what, you
- 47:19Speaker 1: know what, you know what I'm gonna do I'm gonna

- 52:10Speaker 1: that's what you Yes, ma'am, Yes, ma'am. What you say

- 52:18Speaker 1: you gonna get your full raffle down shipping this woman
- 52:23Speaker 1: right here. She stayed for real, playing no game. Because
- 52:27Speaker 1: I'm saved. I'm gonna tell you right now, you go

- 54:09Speaker 1: it before you here it is Strawberry letta. All right, nephew,
- 54:13Speaker 1: thank you. Subject my husband won't let me out of
- 54:16Speaker 1: his sight. Dear Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have
- 54:19Speaker 1: been married for eight years, and during the pandemic, we
- 54:22Speaker 1: did the opposite of gaining weight. We got serious about
- 54:26Speaker 1: our health and lost a lot of weight. We spent
- 54:29Speaker 1: our evenings walking around the neighborhood and he created a
- 54:32Speaker 1: workout program for me from stuff he found online. So
- 54:36Speaker 1: we are back to our pre marriage weight. I am
- 54:39Speaker 1: addicted to going to the gym and the squats have
- 54:42Speaker 1: certainly paid off. I have men staring at my behind
- 54:46Speaker 1: no matter what I'm wearing, and no matter if I'm
- 54:48Speaker 1: with my husband or not. He gets so jealous and
- 54:52Speaker 1: has yelled at me more than a few times. Once
- 54:55Speaker 1: we got in the car, I told him that I
- 54:58Speaker 1: have no control over men's eyes. He started calling me
- 55:02Speaker 1: a flirt and doesn't want me to go anywhere without him.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I honored his request for a few weeks because it
- 55:09Speaker 1: was cute that he was being so jealous. Now it's craziness,
- 55:15Speaker 1: and he thinks he can tag along with me everywhere.
- 55:18Speaker 1: I started going to the gym in the morning before
- 55:22Speaker 1: work just so he couldn't go with me. He demanded
- 55:26Speaker 1: that I only go three days a week in the
- 55:27Speaker 1: evenings so we could work out together. He's stifling me
- 55:31Speaker 1: and it's a problem. He ran after me with his
- 55:34Speaker 1: shoes in his hand so he could tag along to
- 55:37Speaker 1: the grocery store with me a few days ago. So
- 55:40Speaker 1: later that day I had a talk with him. He
- 55:42Speaker 1: told me he reads my comments from men when I
- 55:45Speaker 1: post pictures, and all that they want to do. All
- 55:49Speaker 1: that they want to do is sleep with me. He said,
- 55:51Speaker 1: he's going everywhere with me for my protection. But I
- 55:54Speaker 1: assured him I'm safe and secure in the small town
- 55:57Speaker 1: we live in. What has gotten into him? How can
- 56:00Speaker 1: I sweetly tell him he's smothering me and pushing me away?
- 56:03Speaker 1: This is ridiculous. Well, I mean, this is not really
- 56:07Speaker 1: a problem that has turned into a major marital situation
- 56:11Speaker 1: for you guys. I mean, why is this even an issue?
- 56:14Speaker 1: After eight years? Your husband still doesn't trust you, He
- 56:17Speaker 1: still doesn't know who you are. I just think that
- 56:21Speaker 1: it is a bit ridiculous, And why is he making
- 56:24Speaker 1: this about him? He really is making it about him
- 56:27Speaker 1: and his feelings when he's the one who encouraged you
- 56:30Speaker 1: to get into shape. He was online finding workouts for you.
- 56:34Speaker 1: He should celebrate the fact that he's got a sexy,
- 56:36Speaker 1: healthy looking wife, not stalk her and run her away,
- 56:40Speaker 1: which is what he's doing. Other men find you attractive
- 56:45Speaker 1: as long as it doesn't go any further than that.
- 56:49Speaker 1: You would think that would be okay, right, But no,
- 56:51Speaker 1: he wants someone no one else wants. He should be
- 56:54Speaker 1: proud of his beautiful wife. Instead, he's making life miserable
- 56:58Speaker 1: for you. If he wants to be with you, just
- 57:01Speaker 1: be with you without all the breathing down your neck
- 57:03Speaker 1: every five minutes. Just say that, tell him sweetly exactly
- 57:08Speaker 1: how you feel, and maybe he'll understand that while he
- 57:10Speaker 1: wanted this as much as you do, his jealousy is
- 57:13Speaker 1: very unattractive. It's a turn off. Also, reassure him that
- 57:17Speaker 1: he has nothing to worry about. He can trust you
- 57:19Speaker 1: because you only have eyes for him. Otherwise, his jealousy
- 57:22Speaker 1: and insecurity is just a mess right now. It's making
- 57:26Speaker 1: you feel some kind of way. Steve Well, great response, Shirley, I.
- 57:34Speaker 1: My response is all about him. Is nothing she can do.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Your husband won't let you out of his sight. At
- 57:44Speaker 1: the end of the letter, you said, how can I
- 57:49Speaker 1: sweetly tell him he's smothering me and pushing me away? Now,
- 57:55Speaker 1: let's just go and start with that line. You're being smothered.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Smothering means you're losing air, you can't breathe, you feel suppressed.
- 58:09Speaker 1: There's a pillar over your face. Now, with all that
- 58:13Speaker 1: happening to you, how are you trying to sweetly tell
- 58:16Speaker 1: him to stop? This is a get the air off
- 58:23Speaker 1: me moment? This is a this is some sugar honey
- 58:30Speaker 1: iced t you pull it? M This is some what
- 58:36Speaker 1: the heir wrong with you. This is some stop show.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Damn hands off for me. These are moments, these are
- 58:47Speaker 1: right here, But let me go into I'm trying to
- 58:49Speaker 1: think of what I'm gonna do the second half. I
- 58:51Speaker 1: think I'm gonna do a reenactment with then. But all
- 58:55Speaker 1: I can tell you is the reason why this is
- 58:57Speaker 1: happening to number one, y'all got I see us about
- 59:00Speaker 1: your health, and you lost a lot of weight during
- 59:02Speaker 1: the pandemic, and you spent your evenings walking around the
- 59:05Speaker 1: neighborhood and created a workout program for me from stuff
- 59:08Speaker 1: he found online. So now y'all back to your pre
- 59:11Speaker 1: marriage weight, and you addicted to going to the gym,
- 59:14Speaker 1: and the squats have certainly paid off. Watch in hand,
- 59:21Speaker 1: the butt hoops boot, Carlole me and a stand at
- 59:27Speaker 1: You're behind, no matter what you were, and no matter
- 59:32Speaker 1: what if you're with your husband or not. Now he
- 59:34Speaker 1: jealous and has yelled at you a few times, so
- 59:38Speaker 1: now obviously he has become insecure. It is obvious that
- 59:43Speaker 1: the workout program didn't do the same thing it did
- 59:47Speaker 1: for you for him. His ass really looks the way
- 59:52Speaker 1: he been looking. And workout program he created an egg
- 59:58Speaker 1: quite do the same same thing for him. He didn't
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: get the same results you did. M Nah, he's scared, yeah, insecure.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: He can't take the new youth. So when we come back,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: we're going to do a reenact right of things. You
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: can say to him that he's not handling the right way,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: all right, all right, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Sounds like a reenactment to me, subject my husband won't
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: let me out of his sight. We'll get back into
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show. Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is my husband
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: won't let me out of his sight. Well, here's a
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: problem doing. They've been married eight years and during the
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: pandemic they didn't gain weight. They actually got in shape
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: because the husband they got, they started walking in the
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: evenings around the neighborhood, created a workout program for him
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: that he found online. So now we are back to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: our pre marriage weight, and the ladies addicted to going
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to the gym and the squat have certainly paid off.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I have me and standing my behind no matter what
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I'm wearing, no no matter what if my husband is
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: with me or not. Now he didn't got so jealous
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: as I yelled at me more than a few times.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Once we got in the car, I told him that
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I have no control over me and his eyes. He
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: started calling me a flirt and don't want be going
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: anywhere without him. So now we have a problem. So
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: now we are going to reenact what is happening. I
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: told you his problem is he's insecure. The workout that
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: he designed for both of y'all did not produce the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: same results in him. His ass ain't quite the big
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: buff machine he needed to do your booty standing up
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: jumping dance. He is the same. He ain't got no
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: by selfs, he ain't got no beat picks. He just
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: the same. So now the ladies are going to talk
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: about things that they want to go doing. I'm gonna
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: show you the problem she got dealing with the dude
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: that didn't quite the workout program didn't quite take for him.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Go ahead, and ladies, well, honey, um, listen, you know
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: it's seven o'clock. It's about time for me to get
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: out of here. I gotta go to Bible study tonight.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You know it's Wednesday night, I'm going to Bible to
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: just down to the church. You're going to Bible stuff, Yeah,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the study about the Lord. Yeah, well, see the problem
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: with your churches. They down there studying mode in the Bible.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: What do you mean, honey, I see him study in
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: your button, That's what I see. We're in the New Testament.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: We're in the New Testament? Are Jeff Jell? Like you
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: got that new body that while we're in the New Testament.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So we'll both be going down there to church to
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: learn about the New Testament. Well, quir rehearsal for men
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: isn't until quire rehearsal. Yeah. Oh, now they're gonna sing
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: about it too. Oh, now that church boat wan't to
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: sing about your new body. Honey, what are you talking about?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: This is the Lord? You know. We're just trying to
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: be better Christians, that's all. We're trying to be better Christians.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Everybody else trying to be in your pants money down
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: at the church. Hey, babe, I gotta go. I'm getting
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: ready to go pick up the kids from school. Then
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: after that I'm gonna take them to practice and then
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I'll be home after that. Okay, have you seen my keys?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: You're gonna pick up the kids on one where they're
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: gonna ride home on your ass? Oh here we all now,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: what are you talking about? Always about your body? Ain't
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: You didn't say you're gonna pick them up in the car.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: You just said you're gonna pick them up. I know
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: what you're doing. Always got to mention your body. What
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: you'm squashed? If you now you're down there picking the
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: kids up on no ass, giving them ride the world?
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Are you? Then you're gonna take them down to practice
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: so everybody can see your ass down Now I'm tired
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: of this hill. You're all right. I gotta go to
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: the grocery store because we're out of eggs. There you
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: go again, always talking about your damn groceries. I saw
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: your ass. You ain't gonna be bringing up your groceries
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: all the time, Damn. That's the problem ever since you
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: got on your little workout program. Oh I know I
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: found it, but now you rename it. Now I ain't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: even booting no more. Nigel. Groceries were something like like
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: we need some more eggs, Like you need some more
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: protein in that ass. That's a damn shame. What color
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: all right? Baby? So I'm gonna go meet the girls
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: for a happy hour and then we're gonna have a
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: couple of margaritas. I'll be back. You're gonna you can't
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: watch the kids. We'll be right back. Come on, I
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: deserve this little me. But my girl just running to
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the bank. Now you're going down to the bank. Get
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: some mold money to put down in that piggt bank
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that I helped field doing the pandemic. Then you're gonna
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: share the money down in that piggot bank. Then you're
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: gonna go to have a eye with your girls and
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: get drunk so they drunk and can look at your
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: ass down all this is here we go again. It's
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: always got to be away for them to im You know,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I'm getting tired, get tired. Are you going down to
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: the bank, honey? I was thinking about, Um, U gonna
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: get my hair and nail's done. Um she's gonna do
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: a little something different with my hair. I think I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: might get a weed, get a little longer this time.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: You know, there you go, there you go, just like
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: everybody on Instagram. Now you're gonna get a put in

- 1:06:15Speaker 1: we got to follow your hair all the way down
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: to your ass. Go. We talked about this. I ain't
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: never asked you for more ham. I told you I

- 1:08:03Speaker 1: get what we'll give him to y'all if y'all have
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: the Shan Watson. Tampa Bay was also in the hunt
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: until Tom Brady came back. So that's what that was like.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: They don't even walk to show, no mo. So it
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: isn't gonna be different. You know what, though, I think
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it would be a good deal though, because see, y'all
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: gonna need a quarterback because you don't have one. We
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: have one who y'all y'all got Tyroney. He stayed hurt,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: He stay hurt. See Baker, y'all need to exchange quarterback.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Y'all need Baker. You need to Sean and then we're
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: gonna get y'all a whole lot of interest stuff. But
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: you mean till we gonna take all these uh these
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: insurance commercials break Baker bring with them you thick a Baker.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: He got more commercial than he got completion. That's a
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: damn ship. That really is that bad years man, bring
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: all the money, Aaron Rodgers Man, Aaron Rodgers signed this
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: deal yesterday for three years, one hundred and fifty million
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: to stay in Great Bay. Guaranteed. Man. He does bring
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: on the money many guaranteed man. That's why his girlfriend
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: got back with them. Yeah. I bring anybody back one
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: hundred fifty million guaranteed. I bring anybody back. Also, don't
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: get this weekend March Madness is starting the number one
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: for the men Georgia Bayla, Arizona and Kansas on they
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: road to New Orleans. That's what they would have the
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: final four in New Orleans for the number one. Number
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: one too, I said Gazaka Bayla, Arizona camp number one. No, no,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: it's number one for the women's for the women's in
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: South Carolina Louisville, Stanford, and North Carolina State South Carolina
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: for the women's Yeah yeah, yeah, all right, junior, thank you.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, veteran comedian
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Up and common comedian got into a heated debate about
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: comedic protocol. We'll talk about that right after you're listening
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Rapper t I slash
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: comedian Ti Well. Ti is continuing his stand up comedy
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: career and he's already been in his first comedy Beast already.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: He just started with comedian Godfrey. Now you all know
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: who god Yeah, you all know who Godfrey is. Godfrey
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: called out Ti for having poor stand up etiquette because
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Ti went on stage after Godfrey. Now Godfrey was the headliner,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: he had just finished his hour and forty minutes set
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: at an Atlanta comedy club and then uh, Godfrey roasted
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Ti on his podcast, saying, as a headliner, no one
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: is supposed to go up after you. Period. There's a
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: code in comedy that you follow. Um, I know you
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: guys know this. Yeah what t I probably didn't know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: so god for should have just educated him on it.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: He probably He definitely don't. Oh he did, Oh, he
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: educated him. He didn't have to do it publicly. That Yeah,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: you ain't got to spank him hard. You just gotta
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: let him know what to what the rules are. That's well,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: that's not how they do things anymore. Yeah, I mean
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: that ain't no pull to the side. Let me how
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: let your dog this is how I go. You just
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: you knew him. Let me explain this to your course
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: of course. But I mean, I mean, when you start
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: decided to start rapping, we don't know what we're doing.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: When you gotta somebody got to pull us and sell
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: us how this work? Right? Yeah, you ain't got all right,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: it's what you doing up him well, Ti responded. TI
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: responded to Godfrey's disc by calling in to Godfrey's podcrat cast.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: So he wanted to address Godfrey directly, and that's what
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: he did. The two got into a heated discussion, and
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: TI went off saying, how in the blank can I
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: make you a giant in comedy look small? And Ti
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: added that his comedy can only add value and contribute
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: more shine to the comedy game, and he said all
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: ships rise with the high tide. He also added that
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: he doesn't care what other people think about his decision
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: to do comedy, and he ended the call by saying,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: we as black men, should all be trying to uplift
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: each other. Well, I ain't got problem. I ain't got
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: no problem with that. You know, I think T I
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: didn't didn't know the rule. But if they called in,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: you know, um, it's no nobody's coming into comedy to
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: make it like like you going to should I say this?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: It's just no, there's no book. Yeah, somebody taught you though,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Somebody, for instance, Steve Tommy Kier.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: You guys have been in the game for a long time.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: You're the headliner. This is what happened, Like Godfrey was,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: So a young comedian comes in after you finish your
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: set that she can get No, he can go up before. Yeah,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: but not to asked the headliner. You asked the headlines.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: He's okay, I go a set after the opening act
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: or or the feature act or something, especially an hour
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: and forty minutes, which is a very long time. So
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: you can give TI ten of them minutes and let
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: him go do what he want to do. But the
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: point that you guys are making is that Ti, young
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: and up and coming in the comedy game, should have
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: asked him first. Well he doesn't know that though, But
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: right think about this, somebody called Ti up to the stage, Godfrey, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I mean so that means not the club owner ain't
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: said enough. You better believe the club owner thought this
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: was great for his business. I keep them in here longer,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: they buying more chicken wings and by buying another drink.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: And then Ti comes with a certain amount of cash
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: shape because he is Ti. Yeah, but I'm gonna tell
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: you now that cash shape in comedy works. You got
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: three minutes. You got a three minute grace period in comedy.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: You have three minutes to convince us that you're going
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: to be funny for us tonight. After that, you're digging
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: yourself out of a hole. And I don't care who
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: you are. I don't care who you that's all of us,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: that's the Kings of comedy, that's Chapelle, that's everybody. You
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: got three minutes. Man, If you don't win us in
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: three minutes, you can get that shovel out and start
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: digging three minutes of no last so long as time
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: parking up the trust me after the three minute mark.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: You gotta get that shovel out. You're digging first. First, son,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: we need to be holing in that first minute and
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: a half. But let me come out here. Minute after
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning

- 1:19:06Speaker 1: to be Kanye or Timmy? I bet you read it again,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: would you if I could get it out, would you
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: rather be a genius that no one likes or would

- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Kanye or it's not idiot though I'm not that I'm
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I'm stupid, you know, and that's a difference between you know,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: because I'm not an idiot? What what is different? Yeah? What?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: No idiot is an idiot? You know that's just stupid.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: You see how that is so easily flowed off your tongue.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Do you know what a definition of an idiot is?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I just looked at me. What a stupid person? I
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: don't show idiots right after this? You're listening? All right?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Here we are, Steve, our last break of the day
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: on this Wednesday, and um wow, Happy lip Appreciation Day
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: once again to you. I want to thank y'all for
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: that final no thank you you get a day. You
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: know what I mean, for recognizing, you know, thinks that
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: people have to deal with go through. Yeah, I've been
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: a strong representative of LIMP day. All right, Well it's
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: happy safeywell happy limps that just don't care. But you
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: got him naturally. Yeah, out this ain't botox, uh lip injection. Yeah,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: but it's okay. I think they would have been smaller
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: had I not talked back a couple of times. Oh,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: popped in the mouth a little bit. I'm talking about
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: my mama. My mama back with her right hand one time,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: but she put her hand behind her left shoulder and
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: brought it from there. Yeah, I know your ass ain't
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: sitting up in here. Didn't talk back. Oh, but mama,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: she told me something one time. I said, but mama,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: and that's all so she heard. But we couldn't talk
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: back like these kids today. We could not do that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: We just couldn't do it. Yeah, not if you wanted
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to live, Julie. That's why your headline where it is,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: because your mama swung at you and you ducked the
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: top of your head lining back. I'm talking she swung home.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: In closing today, I wanted to, uh, just remind people
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the life that you've always wanted is still possible. I
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: don't I don't know why people have such a tendency
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: to give up or right themselves off so early. The
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: life that you ultimately wanted you can still have. You
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: just have to apply the principle of faith and the
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: work ethic to go and make it happen. But you
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: need those two things. You need the faith and you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: need the work ethic. One without the other, it will
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: not work. Now, God can sprinkle some things in there
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: called grace and mercy, which all of us have been
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: a beneficiary of at one point in time in our life.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: But the core basics of your life exists in faith,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: in your work ethic. There's a script that is simply
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: says faith with our works is dead. I don't look, man,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I'm not on this trip talking about you got to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: do more. I'm saying if you want more, you have
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to apply yourself, and you have to apply two things
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: in real serious doses, your faith and your work ethic.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: It will not work one without the other. It's a bust.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: But the life that you aspire to is still possibly yours. Now, look,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I understand that everybody gets runs into what we call
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: bad breaks. Everybody gets a man bad break. Sometimes you
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: get dealt an ugly hand that day. But every day
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you wake up is an opportunity to get it right.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: But every day you wake up can also come with
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: a new set of challenges. It's a part of it. Today.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: You may get presented with a bad break. Today, you
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: may get dealt a bad card. Today. Something is going
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: to happen to you. That's a guarantee. It's called life.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: My best friend called me the other day his brother passed.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: And his brother was a friend of mine too. He
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: was a frat brother. And when I tell you, one
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: of the greatest frat brothers I've ever met, because he
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: was older than me and his brother, but he encouraged us.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Man and brother always had an uplifting spirit. And in
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: case I don't say it, his name is Will Hordon.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: Will Horton passed the other day. One of the greatest
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: cues of a live out of tutely due Toledo, that
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: boy right there, man with some special And my partner
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: called me the other day and he told me it
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: was so crazy, man, And he had just found out,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: like ten minutes ago that his brother had passed. And
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: I was just thinking, man, how today when he woke up,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: how did he know that his family would be dealt
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: that card, the black card, the card of grief. It's
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: a hard card to get man, and all of us
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: in this thing called life, we're gonna get them. We're
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: gonna get them cards. Man, all of us gonna experience.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: And the older you get, the more experiences you're going
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: to have. You're going to experience that black card, that grief,
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: that deaf thing gonna come knocking at your door sooner
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: or later. But it's coming. Nobody escapes that because the
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: moment we are born, we are on a journey to
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: the graveyard, all of us. Some of us get there
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: sooner than others, but we are all making one journey.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: But man, along the way, if you can manage to
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: keep the faith, the faith can endure you through some really,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: really tough times. That's why I'm telling you the two
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: key components of this whole thing is faith in your
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: work ethic. You ain't gonna make it one without the other.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: You leave either one of those out faith the work ethic,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: you're not going to make it. So if your dreams
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: have been deferred, go back to your faith in your
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: work ethic. You can troubleshoot what's happening to you by
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: simply looking at those two things, your faith and your
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: work ethic, because both of those things are necessary. Those
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: are my closing remarks today, real simple. You need both,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: one without the other does not work faith and work ethic.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Hope you have a great
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: day to faith. Remember this y'all talk to God were prohibited.
