- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suck down, giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the million things in the stubbs not good. Steve to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the mother, Please, I don't join jo. You gotta turn
- 1:05Speaker 1: be hurting you are you gotta turn to turn them out?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you haven't got the turnout? Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: to the water got Come come on your bad uh huh?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show well a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice. Come on digny now, one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: I got a radio show. Real grateful for that. You
- 2:13Speaker 1: know it's funny, man. I remember when I first started
- 2:16Speaker 1: out in radio, A lot of my peers laughed at me.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Some of it was being mean spirited, some of it
- 2:22Speaker 1: was just you know, marking me. I'm used to stuff
- 2:25Speaker 1: like that. But I had as a special guest on
- 2:28Speaker 1: my show, Joel Oldstein, and you know something, man, he
- 2:32Speaker 1: said something that was I can't remember the scripture. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't know exactly how I where. Like. We were having
- 2:37Speaker 1: a long conversation, but the gist of it was, don't
- 2:40Speaker 1: be upset with where you are now, and don't be
- 2:43Speaker 1: upset with the small things in your life. Be grateful
- 2:47Speaker 1: for the small things and a small position that you
- 2:50Speaker 1: have right now, because you don't know where that's going.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You don't know what that's gonna be one day. You
- 2:54Speaker 1: don't know what that's gonna lead to. And that was
- 2:56Speaker 1: very warming to hear him say that. But it also
- 3:00Speaker 1: reminded me of when I started in radio, how small
- 3:03Speaker 1: it was. It reminded me of when I started in
- 3:06Speaker 1: stand up making twenty five dollars a show. It reminds
- 3:10Speaker 1: me of not having a home at a period in
- 3:14Speaker 1: my life and what God has allowed me to live
- 3:17Speaker 1: in now. So don't be distraught over your position now,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and don't be ungrateful or unappreciative for the things you
- 3:26Speaker 1: have now because you don't know what that's going to
- 3:28Speaker 1: grow into. And that's really the gist of that I
- 3:30Speaker 1: got from what he was saying. I just wanted to
- 3:32Speaker 1: share that with you, that where you are now it's
- 3:35Speaker 1: so temporary because now, like I've said before, now is
- 3:39Speaker 1: a fleeting moment. Right after you fits saying now, that
- 3:43Speaker 1: moment that you claimed as now, that's gone. So the
- 3:47Speaker 1: where you are now is a very fleeting process. Now
- 3:50Speaker 1: you can change where you are now, and you can
- 3:53Speaker 1: change how you feel about where you're at now, and
- 3:56Speaker 1: you can change about where you're going by simply changing
- 4:01Speaker 1: your mind. It is no difference. I'm telling you, folks,
- 4:05Speaker 1: the thing that I've learned about successful people is not
- 4:09Speaker 1: so much what they do. It's not what they have.
- 4:13Speaker 1: The biggest thing I've learned about successful people is how
- 4:16Speaker 1: they think. That's the thing that's different. It's how they think.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And I'm telling you that you can change the way
- 4:25Speaker 1: you think on any subject and start becoming successful towards that.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Starting now, you have to understand that. Man, the biggest
- 4:36Speaker 1: difference I've noticed between successful people and non successful people
- 4:41Speaker 1: is how they think. I was reading what is God
- 4:45Speaker 1: said that he was taught all wrong about money. He
- 4:49Speaker 1: said that his father was very negative about money. He
- 4:52Speaker 1: all throughout his life he heard his father say, you know,
- 4:55Speaker 1: people who got money have walked on somebody to get it,
- 4:59Speaker 1: or cheated somebody to get it. People who have money,
- 5:02Speaker 1: money is the root of all evil. Money is money
- 5:05Speaker 1: is this And people who got money, you know, don't
- 5:08Speaker 1: deserve it. They've done something wrong to get it. YadA, y'all.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So he said, he grew up the whole time thinking
- 5:14Speaker 1: that having money when something was wrong with that, he
- 5:17Speaker 1: discovered that it wasn't. Look. You can choose to be
- 5:20Speaker 1: successful anywhere you want to. I've chosen several ways to
- 5:23Speaker 1: be successful. I want to be a very, very successful father.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I think that's one of the things that's paramount in
- 5:30Speaker 1: my life that I really am working hard right now
- 5:33Speaker 1: to become a successful father. Not a successful father in
- 5:38Speaker 1: terms of money, but a successful father in terms of
- 5:42Speaker 1: offering the amount of love and guidance and leadership and
- 5:46Speaker 1: the example that my children need to look at. That's
- 5:50Speaker 1: what I'm really really working hard at now. I want
- 5:52Speaker 1: to be successful as a father, but also I want
- 5:55Speaker 1: to be successful as a husband. You know. I want
- 5:58Speaker 1: Marjorie to always know that she can count on me,
- 6:01Speaker 1: to not have to wonder about me a look for me.
- 6:04Speaker 1: You know. I want her to feel secure in the
- 6:07Speaker 1: fact that I really have gotten it right, that I
- 6:11Speaker 1: really am focused on being a good husband to her
- 6:15Speaker 1: because it means so much to me, you know. So
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm working hard on a lot of levels. I'm working hard.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I'm trying very strong to be a successful motivator of people.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I want to be a sharer of information to people
- 6:28Speaker 1: that will uplift others and give others the same things
- 6:32Speaker 1: that I've learned through the trials and tribulations of my life.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But at the same time share that information and use
- 6:39Speaker 1: the power this microphone to uplift people, you know, not
- 6:43Speaker 1: to destroy. My show is not about guess what's so
- 6:45Speaker 1: and so said? Guess what's so and so did. I
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't like mean spirited things about people, you know. I
- 6:50Speaker 1: joke with people calling this that's another thing. But I
- 6:53Speaker 1: don't like destroying people with the power to microphone. So
- 6:56Speaker 1: I'm working very hard on being successful in a lot
- 6:58Speaker 1: of areas of my life now. Also I do care
- 7:01Speaker 1: about being financially successful too, because my father. One of
- 7:05Speaker 1: the gifts he gave me was very simple gift. He
- 7:08Speaker 1: told me a long time ago. He said, son, the
- 7:10Speaker 1: best thing you can do for poor people is not
- 7:13Speaker 1: be one of them. And that stuck with me. And
- 7:16Speaker 1: this was a hard working man who was a coal
- 7:19Speaker 1: miner who worked construction his entire life. My father didn't
- 7:24Speaker 1: have an easy life man. My father didn't sit behind
- 7:26Speaker 1: a microphone. My father didn't come to work and people
- 7:29Speaker 1: cheered for him. My father wasn't famous. My father was
- 7:33Speaker 1: just a go get it dude. That he instilled that
- 7:37Speaker 1: in me and I've taken that and applied it to
- 7:39Speaker 1: my craft and I thank God for him for that.
- 7:41Speaker 1: But I do try to be financially successful so that
- 7:45Speaker 1: I can do some things with it to help some
- 7:47Speaker 1: other people. Now, am I opposed to having nice things? No?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Do I apologize for having nice things? No? And why
- 7:54Speaker 1: should I? I work? I work? You know, I'm done.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm not on the radio asking to give me money,
- 8:01Speaker 1: you know, so I can go buy a car. I'm working.
- 8:04Speaker 1: So I don't feel how you want to feel. And
- 8:07Speaker 1: other people do feel that way about it. But if
- 8:10Speaker 1: success in terms of finance it's what you're lacking, you
- 8:13Speaker 1: can go about the business of doing that. I'm writing
- 8:16Speaker 1: a book and that whole book is about teaching people
- 8:19Speaker 1: how to become successful. And man, I'm breaking it down
- 8:23Speaker 1: in a way where everybody can get it, man, because
- 8:26Speaker 1: I want the college student to get it, you know.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want the working mom to get it, the single
- 8:31Speaker 1: mom to get it. The hard working father has been
- 8:34Speaker 1: trying to hold his family together can get it. The
- 8:37Speaker 1: father that ain't ever got it together and feel that
- 8:39Speaker 1: because of that reason, he can't be the father he
- 8:42Speaker 1: needs to be. I'm writing something, man, to put it
- 8:45Speaker 1: into words, to let you know that God is a
- 8:48Speaker 1: forgiving God, and that God is a merciful God, and
- 8:52Speaker 1: that God can get you out of any situation you
- 8:55Speaker 1: find yourself in. You just can't beat yourself up every
- 8:58Speaker 1: time you make a mistake. I make mistakes all the time, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I just got to remind myself to get up. I
- 9:04Speaker 1: ask God for forgiveness, I call on his mercy and
- 9:08Speaker 1: it's grace and I get up and I go again.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But it's coming, man. And if finance success is what
- 9:13Speaker 1: you want, you got to change your mind. You got
- 9:15Speaker 1: to start thinking about how to produce it. The first
- 9:19Speaker 1: thing you do is you gotta ask. You gotta ask
- 9:22Speaker 1: to have a life and have a life more abundantly.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's a scripture that He comes to you to give
- 9:29Speaker 1: you life and to give you life more abundantly. That's
- 9:32Speaker 1: a scripture that ain't a joke, that ain't a theory.
- 9:36Speaker 1: That's a fact, and the fact that if you don't
- 9:38Speaker 1: have a life of abundance, you can get that by asking.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Then it starts by believing, and how to don't even
- 9:44Speaker 1: worry about that. He takes care of at himself. He'll
- 9:47Speaker 1: send the stuff your way. But you got to be
- 9:49Speaker 1: willing to put some effort in this thing now, and
- 9:51Speaker 1: you can do it. Okay. I know I was a
- 9:53Speaker 1: little around the place today, but that's what it was.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So you know, let's go get it. You're listening morning,
- 10:03Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Let me have it your attention, Steve
- 10:08Speaker 1: Harvey Martin, show us owner. Just like the morning, we're here.
- 10:12Speaker 1: As long as God give us grace and mercy. Here
- 10:15Speaker 1: we go again. Shirley Strawberry, Carl Correl, Mouth, other South
- 10:27Speaker 1: Junior and me. Yeah, Union, what's on your mind today? Man?
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know, well, let's let's just talk about it up.
- 10:36Speaker 1: The plan is the plan, It is what it is.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Your goals are your goals. But the minute adversity show up,
- 10:43Speaker 1: we spend two three years because we had one thing
- 10:46Speaker 1: go wrong. Uh, talk to that. How how you fix
- 10:50Speaker 1: that attitude? How you getting people to understand like, hey,
- 10:53Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be perfect at all. Well, I'm you know,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I know people who get stuck on me failure. But
- 11:01Speaker 1: I want to share something that you are when you
- 11:04Speaker 1: fail at something. I've said this a million times. It's
- 11:07Speaker 1: a part of the process. But let me tell you
- 11:10Speaker 1: what failure is. Failure is an event. Failure is not
- 11:15Speaker 1: a person. It's an event. You've got to learn how
- 11:20Speaker 1: to move past and through the events because events will
- 11:25Speaker 1: always be happening. Circus is coming to time. New Year's Eve,
- 11:32Speaker 1: fourth of July. It's events. There's a parade downtown, Macy's Day.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Parade as always an event. We're doing firework, there's a picnic,
- 11:45Speaker 1: class reunion. It's an event. But when is a circus? Thought?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Because I like it. Failure is an event. It's not
- 11:55Speaker 1: a person. Stop letting these events find who you are.
- 12:02Speaker 1: You know more failure than you the fourth that you lie,
- 12:05Speaker 1: You know, more failure than you are. New Year's Eve.
- 12:09Speaker 1: They are events, and once the event is over, it's over.
- 12:13Speaker 1: New Year's Eve ain't coming no more for another three
- 12:16Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five days. It's an event. Failure will
- 12:20Speaker 1: happen again. You just don't know, Quinn. It's an untimely event.
- 12:28Speaker 1: It's usually an unplanned event, an unexpected event, an unwelcomed event.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But all it is is an event. You are not
- 12:39Speaker 1: an event. You are a person. I refuse to allow
- 12:43Speaker 1: an event to describe who I am. I am strong,
- 12:48Speaker 1: I am powerful. I'm a child of God. I'm a
- 12:52Speaker 1: man of faith, I am discipline, I'm hard working. So
- 12:57Speaker 1: when I fail at something, that event happens, I get
- 13:01Speaker 1: on back to being who I really am. Stop letting
- 13:04Speaker 1: the event define you. Failure ain't nothing but an event,
- 13:09Speaker 1: that's all it is. Smooth on. Yeah, keep having four
- 13:15Speaker 1: for July, and we're not gonna entertain this foolishness with you.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Shelly about this day. You brought it up. Well, I
- 13:26Speaker 1: didn't ask you to stay on it. I can't help it,
- 13:33Speaker 1: all right, all right, look, coming up at thirty two
- 13:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna we're gonna run that
- 13:40Speaker 1: prank back with Junior in for the nephew right after
- 13:43Speaker 1: this you're listening show, all right, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: to run that prank back with Junior in for the nephew. Junior,
- 13:52Speaker 1: which you got this morning something that most of us
- 13:55Speaker 1: have had problem, none of us at the same time,
- 13:58Speaker 1: but the nephew definitely had very confusing. Don't worry, Aboudy
- 14:01Speaker 1: gets called problem at the valet. I don't know how
- 14:04Speaker 1: you can get one, but you can get one problem
- 14:07Speaker 1: at the valet. Come on, Cat, Hello, Hey, I'm going
- 14:11Speaker 1: Hey Tommy, how's it going? Hey? Man, what's going on?
- 14:14Speaker 1: You're doing all right? I'm doing good, doing good. What's up? Hey? Listen?
- 14:17Speaker 1: I need you to do something for me. But you
- 14:19Speaker 1: need your your your car, he tells us. No no,
- 14:23Speaker 1: no, no no, no no no not just listen. If I
- 14:25Speaker 1: got something I want you to do for me. I'm
- 14:26Speaker 1: doing a plank phone call, and I want you to
- 14:28Speaker 1: call this guy and tell him you're the valet downstairs,
- 14:32Speaker 1: ask him for his ticket number, and tell him, hey,
- 14:34Speaker 1: we got a little bit of an issue. But my
- 14:36Speaker 1: my manager is gonna call you back. Uh. He's sure.
- 14:39Speaker 1: You want me to do it? You're the ballet guy,
- 14:41Speaker 1: that's all you gotta do? All right? What does the
- 14:44Speaker 1: Mexican guy gotta be at the valet guy and you
- 14:46Speaker 1: get to be the manager? What's up with that? I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: putting click over with Nick the car. All I want
- 14:52Speaker 1: you to do is just telling you near the ballet guy.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Will you do that for me? All right? Man? I
- 14:56Speaker 1: got you? All right? All right? All right, hay on,
- 14:58Speaker 1: just hang on Hello. Hello is this mister Franklin? Yes?
- 15:03Speaker 1: Can I ask us calling? Oh? Yes, um, I'm I'm
- 15:07Speaker 1: Orlando with ballet. Did you start electus with us about
- 15:10Speaker 1: thirty minutes ago? Yeah? I did. What's what's going on?
- 15:14Speaker 1: What's just about? I'm just gonna need your ticket number
- 15:16Speaker 1: real quick. There's a small issue. And once you get
- 15:19Speaker 1: the ticket number, I could have a manager just call
- 15:22Speaker 1: you back five three four six. But why do you
- 15:26Speaker 1: Why do you need my ticket number? Is there something
- 15:28Speaker 1: wrong with my car? Does something happened? Um, my manager
- 15:30Speaker 1: will call you back and he'll give you all the details. Okay, So,
- 15:34Speaker 1: so something did happen to my car? Um? Once I
- 15:37Speaker 1: give him my manager your ticket number, he'll call you
- 15:40Speaker 1: back shortly and he'll tell you everything. Okay, Well, can
- 15:43Speaker 1: you have him give me a call as soon as
- 15:45Speaker 1: possible because I would like to know what happened to
- 15:48Speaker 1: my car if something happened. This is I don't I
- 15:50Speaker 1: don't really understand what's going on here. I'm sorry. I
- 15:53Speaker 1: have to go, but you can't tell me anything else
- 15:55Speaker 1: before you leave. I mean, there's no details that you
- 15:57Speaker 1: can give me about anything with my car. Like I
- 16:00Speaker 1: my manager won't handle it. I have to get going
- 16:04Speaker 1: perfect Orlando. That's perfect, right, I got it from here, bro.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I appreciate let's call him back. Hello. Hello, is this uh?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Is this mister Franklin? Yeah, this is he can ask
- 16:15Speaker 1: his calling. This is clough Man. I'm the manager here
- 16:18Speaker 1: down at the valet. Oh great, thank you. I've been
- 16:21Speaker 1: waiting to hear it from you. Oh my god. Thirty
- 16:23Speaker 1: minutes ago you you pulled in with a telling me
- 16:26Speaker 1: a silver light? Great lexus, Yeah, that's that's Yeah, that's
- 16:30Speaker 1: my car. What what's going on with my car here? Okay?
- 16:32Speaker 1: And what's your number? Is it five three four six? Yeah,
- 16:35Speaker 1: that's that's my number. I mean, I already went through
- 16:37Speaker 1: this with the other guy. Can you just tell me
- 16:39Speaker 1: what the hell is going on with my car? Okay?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Are you able to come downstairs right now? No? I can't.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I valet over there, I'm at a I'm at a
- 16:47Speaker 1: lunch with a client somewhere else. I'm not there right now.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Why do I need to come down right now? But
- 16:51Speaker 1: he just what is happening? Okay? So here's the deal. Sorry,
- 16:55Speaker 1: we have a we have a one of the valet
- 16:59Speaker 1: workers here has gotten mad and he left. He quit
- 17:03Speaker 1: the job, and he's he's gone, he's left the premise.
- 17:07Speaker 1: The problem we're having right now is we don't see
- 17:10Speaker 1: your car, you know, and then you don't see what
- 17:13Speaker 1: do you what? I'm sorry? What? Well, I'm okay, okay, okay,
- 17:17Speaker 1: oh wow, all right, So my car is gone? Car
- 17:20Speaker 1: is gone? Is that what you tell me right now?
- 17:22Speaker 1: Somebody company and took my car? Well, well, Ham, we're
- 17:26Speaker 1: looking on every flour and we're trying to figure out
- 17:30Speaker 1: if it's got part somewhere else. But he's gone and
- 17:32Speaker 1: we're we're that's why we call to get your number
- 17:35Speaker 1: on card somewhere else. Man, What the do you mean
- 17:38Speaker 1: to I have a car or not that my card
- 17:40Speaker 1: just stolen? Hony forts? Do you have how long to
- 17:42Speaker 1: take I just bought that car. That is a brand
- 17:45Speaker 1: new car, and now it's just are you kidding me?
- 17:48Speaker 1: Right now? Well hold on, hold on, I understand, I understand.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Let me ask you something. Is there a way? Um?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Is there a way? Maybe you can come by tomorrow
- 17:56Speaker 1: and we can try to work come now and just
- 17:58Speaker 1: see it. You know, No, there is no way I'm
- 18:01Speaker 1: coming by tomorrow for a car that's listening today. First
- 18:05Speaker 1: of all, we need to get the police involved in this.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I don't even know, mister Frank. Right now, mister Frank,
- 18:12Speaker 1: we don't want to get the police involved in this.
- 18:15Speaker 1: We Who is we? Because I dam I'm sure I
- 18:18Speaker 1: want to get the police involved. So who is I'm
- 18:20Speaker 1: just saying weird? I listen, I don't want to lose
- 18:23Speaker 1: my job because we lost the car. If you just
- 18:25Speaker 1: give me some time to find the car, That's all
- 18:27Speaker 1: I want you to do is give me sometime. Let
- 18:29Speaker 1: me go by this guy's house where he lives and
- 18:31Speaker 1: see if the car is there. You should already be
- 18:33Speaker 1: in a car driving YO. Ask to this man's house
- 18:38Speaker 1: talking to me right now. Hey, the fact that you're
- 18:40Speaker 1: not there, it's malpractice. I'm calling the police. I'm suing
- 18:43Speaker 1: the building on it. I'm suing the managers. I'm suing
- 18:45Speaker 1: THEO made the valet box. I'm sure everybody affiliated with YO,
- 18:49Speaker 1: mistiness you under send me right now. I'm kiddy, mister pranking.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Why are you? Why are you? Why are you upset
- 18:55Speaker 1: with me? I didn't do that now, I didn't take
- 18:57Speaker 1: the card. Why are you responsible for this? Parkt butt?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Are you a manager? What is your occuproblem? Sir? Why
- 19:04Speaker 1: are you people to manage? I'm the manager here. An

- 23:28Speaker 1: that's just nothing right. My husband had just left me
- 23:31Speaker 1: and I was vulnerable. I told my sister about it,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and she forgave me. He and I want to be together,
- 23:38Speaker 1: but I don't know how to tell her that part.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Should I follow my heart and tell her or find
- 23:42Speaker 1: someone else to love? WHOA, Tanya, I don't know what
- 23:47Speaker 1: you should do what. I'm not dating your ex husband
- 23:51Speaker 1: and I want to marry you. Yeah, she forgave tell
- 23:55Speaker 1: her the way that y'all slept together. Go and find
- 23:57Speaker 1: a way to tell her. I don't care what you do.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Why don't you care though? Why? Because I don't like
- 24:03Speaker 1: mess situation? Yeah? Yeah? And then people want me to
- 24:07Speaker 1: figure that out, for I ain't been to figure out nothing.
- 24:12Speaker 1: How does feel to you? Yeah, your sister, this is
- 24:17Speaker 1: your sister. She forgave you already one time. Come on now, well,
- 24:22Speaker 1: she says she was vulnerable, everybody vulnerable. How does she
- 24:26Speaker 1: feel if her sister started dating her ex husband? Let's
- 24:30Speaker 1: flip it, all right, Clo, you said you don't care,
- 24:34Speaker 1: all right? Kelvin and Memphis says, I didn't use my
- 24:38Speaker 1: real name. But here's what I need to know. My
- 24:40Speaker 1: girlfriend and I break up a lot because she's a
- 24:43Speaker 1: very controlling person. If she doesn't get her way, she
- 24:46Speaker 1: trips out and dumps me. Should I continue to let
- 24:49Speaker 1: her lead in our relationship? What? Huh? Calvin with the
- 24:57Speaker 1: wrong name? What should I continue to let her lead
- 25:02Speaker 1: in the relationship? You stupid? I think the question is
- 25:07Speaker 1: should you continue to follow? Uh? Huh? Um? Just you?
- 25:13Speaker 1: You call me whatever you want to call But I'm
- 25:15Speaker 1: not ain't ain't nobody leading me? No? We can go together,
- 25:20Speaker 1: right and I'm not gonna get led partnership? Uh huh?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Why do you call him Calvin with the wrong name
- 25:28Speaker 1: because he said, I'm not using my real name. Yeah,
- 25:31Speaker 1: he didn't use his real name. Oh, just wrong dog.
- 25:39Speaker 1: She do, won't you? Uh? If she doesn't get her way,
- 25:44Speaker 1: she trips and quits him every time. Wow, she don't,
- 25:48Speaker 1: won't you? Yeah? Uh? Yeah? Yeah? All right, all right?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Last one? Still, last one, Andrea in Seattle says. Andrea says,
- 26:06Speaker 1: I've heard that you really learn a person after you
- 26:08Speaker 1: travel with them. My man and I went on our
- 26:11Speaker 1: first vacation and he trashed the hotel room. He stole towels,
- 26:16Speaker 1: was rude to the lady that cleaned our room daily.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Now it's just just vacation behavior or not. Wait a minute,
- 26:24Speaker 1: I don't understand what rude is rude? Yeah, nasty is nasty,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and wrong is wrong? What difference do it make where
- 26:34Speaker 1: you committed? Yeah to hear that, Andrea in Seattle. When
- 26:41Speaker 1: is bad behavior rewarding? I don't understand that. So you
- 26:47Speaker 1: think this just gonna stay on vacation. You don't see
- 26:50Speaker 1: this coming. He is who he is stealing from the hotel.
- 26:55Speaker 1: What you just left the Bahamas, Steve, you we gotta go. Still,
- 27:02Speaker 1: you never stole little here y'all stole all is sot
- 27:10Speaker 1: in the lotion. So when I left the room, when
- 27:14Speaker 1: let me play something. When I left the room, you
- 27:17Speaker 1: know somebody was in there. Dog. I took every town
- 27:29Speaker 1: I used to, I used get a little small shot,
- 27:32Speaker 1: used to I used to nothing. Now when I was
- 27:34Speaker 1: homeless and would get a room. What you house? All
- 27:40Speaker 1: this I was years ago, not now clear. I don't
- 27:44Speaker 1: want nothing, ever, Marge, you got everything nice at our house.
- 27:50Speaker 1: You ain't got to take nothing. I don't want nothing.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But when I was homeless, look at him who got you?
- 27:59Speaker 1: What do you know? At motail six out on the road,
- 28:03Speaker 1: what they started doing was when you check in, if
- 28:06Speaker 1: you want the towel, the washcloth and the soap, you
- 28:09Speaker 1: had to give me your drivers life. Oh wow. Then
- 28:13Speaker 1: when you bring them back the towel, soap, I mean,
- 28:16Speaker 1: the towel, and the dish I mean and the washcloth,
- 28:19Speaker 1: you got your id back. That's what they did out
- 28:23Speaker 1: on the road. When you bring them back, you take
- 28:26Speaker 1: them back to the front desk. You had to go
- 28:27Speaker 1: to the front desk, get your tie, moteel, Tombo, deadly
- 28:32Speaker 1: light on. Didn't you tell us one time that you
- 28:37Speaker 1: were responsible for them nailing the pictures to the wall
- 28:40Speaker 1: and the TV. Yeah, all that, all that Mount TV's
- 28:44Speaker 1: putting on Mount Yeah, I was responsible for all that.
- 28:49Speaker 1: That's all the pictures you see nailed to the wall.
- 28:52Speaker 1: I created that. The TV's on them swivels, that's mounted.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I created that. The reason you have pay for you
- 29:00Speaker 1: pay before you pumped the gas station, I was driving
- 29:04Speaker 1: awful thanks full of game. I'm the reason for Thank you, CLO.

- 30:03Speaker 1: job on Michelle's portrait. Take a listen. It was important

- 30:08Speaker 1: to thank Sharon Sprung for capturing everything I love about Michelle,
- 30:14Speaker 1: her grace, her intelligence, and the fact that she's fine.

- 33:18Speaker 1: many people that's in that culture that that could be
- 33:22Speaker 1: more valid than me in that position. You know, you

- 34:13Speaker 1: Well he said, it's gonna be the biggest awards show
- 34:15Speaker 1: in history, Bigger than the Oscars, bigger than the Grammys. Everything. Okay,

- 40:16Speaker 1: I can't, and it's painting me to do so because
- 40:19Speaker 1: I'm a fighter, I'm not a runner and my characters
- 40:22Speaker 1: being assassinated. As much as I want to expose that,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I won't say her name either. And I will say
- 40:28Speaker 1: this if you you could even dig up the history yourself.
- 40:31Speaker 1: But this person has a history of these false accusations. Wow,
- 40:36Speaker 1: well listen. I hope for their sake, Tiffany and ay
- 40:44Speaker 1: spears that that that's true. I could imagine it being
- 40:50Speaker 1: a shakedown. The problem is something was put on film,
- 40:56Speaker 1: and something was put on film with kids. That's a
- 40:59Speaker 1: true statement. Yeah, the skit is there so and the
- 41:05Speaker 1: title of the skit the Mind of a Pedophile right there.
- 41:09Speaker 1: It just don't bold whale for comedy. I think it's
- 41:13Speaker 1: a lesson sometimes, you know, there's lessons in other people's
- 41:17Speaker 1: lives too. You don't have to experience everything yourself. Sometimes
- 41:22Speaker 1: knowing what not to do is equally as valuable as
- 41:25Speaker 1: knowing what to do. I mean, no body in the
- 41:29Speaker 1: right mind should have thought a skit call the Mind
- 41:32Speaker 1: of a Pedophile's gonna work and then to take and
- 41:37Speaker 1: film something, whether some kids and the mama knew about it,
- 41:42Speaker 1: I probably is some shakedown going home. But you can't
- 41:47Speaker 1: give them a pin to stickulate. You can't provide the shake. Yeah. Yeah,
- 41:57Speaker 1: that's because Tiffany said, I wish I never had participated
- 42:03Speaker 1: in the skin Yeah, she said it wasn't funny. So
- 42:06Speaker 1: you know he was in bad judgment. But they can't
- 42:10Speaker 1: talk about it. I know the lawyers to shut him down,
- 42:13Speaker 1: and I hope this pans out well for them. I
- 42:17Speaker 1: hate to see their careers just go away. And something
- 42:21Speaker 1: happened to what they said twenty fourteen, twenty thirteen and fourteen. Yeah,
- 42:28Speaker 1: I wish him the best for everybody evolved. But yeah,
- 42:32Speaker 1: I mean that's all you can do until you know,
- 42:34Speaker 1: the facts come out and we see But yeah, this
- 42:39Speaker 1: is a tough one and we'll we'll keep you posted.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I mean we're following it. You know, we're following it,
- 42:47Speaker 1: the story and everything. Yeah, that's I mean, it's really something.
- 42:54Speaker 1: And she had she said what she had to say earlier.
- 42:57Speaker 1: So Eric Spears has his pod cast and he was
- 43:00Speaker 1: able to address what he could address on his podcast.
- 43:03Speaker 1: So he came, you know, damn he need to be
- 43:06Speaker 1: real quiet, right, Yeah, I mean yeah, the title alone, Yeah,
- 43:14Speaker 1: mind of a pedophile. Yeah, who was in the room
- 43:17Speaker 1: thought this was a good idea? Did nobody say nothing like, Hey,
- 43:20Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna do what. I'm gonna be a
- 43:22Speaker 1: part of what. Yeah, I'm not gonna do that. You
- 43:25Speaker 1: always need around you, come on, come on, hey, hey man,
- 43:34Speaker 1: are you serious. Yeah, it's a bunch of yes people
- 43:38Speaker 1: around you. Because then stuff like this happens. You don't
- 43:41Speaker 1: need nobody say okay, mind of a pedophile. Okay, let
- 43:43Speaker 1: me go set the camera. Why that's funny? Yeah, everything
- 43:48Speaker 1: is not a joke. No, don't let me look at
- 43:50Speaker 1: the blue mic. No, not at all. All right, Uh,
- 43:57Speaker 1: we're moving on. Coming up next, is there phone call
- 44:00Speaker 1: for it today with Junior and for the nephew. We'll
- 44:03Speaker 1: find about find all about what that's about right after this.
- 44:06Speaker 1: You're listening. Coming up in about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:13Speaker 1: It's my Strawberry letter for today and the subject is
- 44:17Speaker 1: he wants to and I do too. M Okay, we'll
- 44:21Speaker 1: figure out what that means. He wants to and I
- 44:24Speaker 1: do too. Okay, we'll get into that a little later,
- 44:28Speaker 1: but right now, it is time for the prank phone
- 44:30Speaker 1: call with Junior right here working hard over time. Oh agin,
- 44:35Speaker 1: for the nephew, what you got, Junior. I'm gonna tell
- 44:38Speaker 1: you this. These people are needed and I agree with
- 44:40Speaker 1: the nephew on this woman, because this is this is
- 44:42Speaker 1: how ignority. This is. These people are needed and they
- 44:46Speaker 1: have a role in our community and we need to
- 44:48Speaker 1: we should respect that and we should all sign up
- 44:51Speaker 1: for this now. Now this is gonna be it's gonna
- 44:53Speaker 1: be different now because the nephew is doing this. But
- 44:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you Prostate Checklist, they have a role in
- 45:00Speaker 1: our society. Okay, we need them. Okay, gotta get Okay,

- 51:55Speaker 1: ask you, man, what is what is the baddest I'm

- 53:42Speaker 1: out do what we can to help you. Yeah, ladies
- 53:46Speaker 1: and Gentlemen's time for the Strawberry Letter. Well, my good friends,
- 53:48Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry, Thank you, Junior. Subject he wants too and
- 53:56Speaker 1: I do too. Just Stephen Shirley, I've been in an
- 53:58Speaker 1: open relationship with a great man for almost three years.
- 54:02Speaker 1: He's been considerate of the way we chose to structure
- 54:06Speaker 1: our relationship until a few months ago. To me, no
- 54:10Speaker 1: one can be truly faithful, so I chose to be
- 54:13Speaker 1: open with my boyfriend. If we're attempted to have sex
- 54:17Speaker 1: with other people, we're always honest with each other. Until
- 54:21Speaker 1: recently when I caught him out with another woman and
- 54:24Speaker 1: she said he was her boyfriend. I know the girl
- 54:27Speaker 1: because she works with him, and he always called her
- 54:30Speaker 1: out for acting too black or trying to date black men. Yes,
- 54:34Speaker 1: she is white. He admitted that he's been hooking up
- 54:38Speaker 1: with her. I asked him to bring her over to
- 54:40Speaker 1: the house if that's the case, but he won't share
- 54:42Speaker 1: her with me, which made me think he likes her.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I told him, if this is how things are going
- 54:48Speaker 1: to be, he can move out and I'll just move
- 54:51Speaker 1: on with my life. He swore that he'd stopped messing
- 54:54Speaker 1: with her. I was still skeptical, so I started seeing
- 54:58Speaker 1: a guy I met at the gym. I had never
- 55:00Speaker 1: done anything behind my man's back, so it was new
- 55:03Speaker 1: and exciting. The sex with this guy was amazing, and
- 55:07Speaker 1: he started wanting to see me more and more. So
- 55:10Speaker 1: I was making up a lie after lie to sneak
- 55:12Speaker 1: out and be with him. I finally told the guy
- 55:15Speaker 1: that I was in an open relationship and I couldn't
- 55:18Speaker 1: totally commit to him. Then I admitted to my boyfriend
- 55:21Speaker 1: that I was sneaking around. He said he was still
- 55:24Speaker 1: seeing the white girl, and I was so hurt. He
- 55:27Speaker 1: told me that I had to leave my side piece alone.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I told him, if he can have two, then I
- 55:34Speaker 1: want to too. He told me that I can't do
- 55:37Speaker 1: what he does, and he threatened to break up with me.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I really love my boyfriend, but I don't feel valued.
- 55:43Speaker 1: Am I stupid for being in this open lifestyle? Yes? Yes, yes,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and yes you're stupid for all of this. I mean,
- 55:54Speaker 1: you're stupid for believing that he stopped seeing the white
- 55:57Speaker 1: girl and you were hurt. Why you know what a
- 56:00Speaker 1: relationship you're in? Are you are? You're stupid for letting
- 56:05Speaker 1: him control the way you live your life. Okay, I
- 56:08Speaker 1: know it's a double standard in the world. I got that,
- 56:10Speaker 1: but it's not okay for him to cheat and then
- 56:12Speaker 1: try to control who you see outside of your relationship.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Isn't at the very point of an open relationship seeing
- 56:19Speaker 1: and sleeping with who you want to and doing what
- 56:23Speaker 1: you want. Otherwise it's not an open relationship, right. I
- 56:28Speaker 1: think your whole relationship is stupid, quite honestly, and there's
- 56:31Speaker 1: no future in it for you. You live with the
- 56:34Speaker 1: cheater who's trying to justify his cheating by saying you
- 56:38Speaker 1: guys are in an open relationship, but in reality, he's
- 56:42Speaker 1: the only one open. He he doesn't want you to
- 56:45Speaker 1: be open. So look, get out of this mess, please,
- 56:49Speaker 1: and yes, this is all stupid. Steve. Wow, you know
- 56:55Speaker 1: what amazes me when people write a letter to us
- 57:00Speaker 1: feel with wrong and then wants something right to happen
- 57:05Speaker 1: out of it. I don't even see how you think
- 57:08Speaker 1: all this. I'm gonna read this letter and I've circled
- 57:14Speaker 1: unbelievable statements. Okay, let me see. I wish I had
- 57:21Speaker 1: a sound effect ding. I need a bell. I think
- 57:26Speaker 1: we have a bell. He wants to and I do too.
- 57:30Speaker 1: To see her when I say bail, can you hit
- 57:38Speaker 1: it instantly? Okay? Here we go? All right? You know
- 57:42Speaker 1: it always amazes me that we get these letters that
- 57:45Speaker 1: come in feel with so much wrong and unbelievable remarks,
- 57:50Speaker 1: comments and statements, and they want us to make some
- 57:55Speaker 1: good out of it and some rightness out of right.
- 58:01Speaker 1: So I'm gonna read this letter. I'm gonna ask for
- 58:05Speaker 1: Bill every time I'm about to say something unbelievable. Dis
- 58:12Speaker 1: Sherley and Steve Bell. I've been in an open relationship
- 58:18Speaker 1: with a great man for almost three years. Did you
- 58:21Speaker 1: hear that? I've been in an open relationship with a
- 58:25Speaker 1: great man for three years? Bill? He's been considerate of
- 58:31Speaker 1: the way we choose to structure our relationship until a
- 58:38Speaker 1: few months ago. Bell to me, no one can be
- 58:44Speaker 1: truly faithful. Oh my god, So all marriages are due.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So I choose to be open with my boyfriend. And
- 58:57Speaker 1: if we attempted to have sex with other people, Bill,
- 59:05Speaker 1: we just always be honest with each other at tempted
- 59:12Speaker 1: to have sex with other people. The goals to faithfulness
- 59:18Speaker 1: out the wind. Okay, hang on, Steve, right there, right,
- 59:22Speaker 1: there's a good place to stop, Okay, because we gotta
- 59:26Speaker 1: take a break. At twenty three minutes to half to
- 59:27Speaker 1: the hour, we'll come back and we'll have part two
- 59:30Speaker 1: of Steve's response too. He wants to and I do too.
- 59:34Speaker 1: That is the subject. We'll be right back after this.
- 59:37Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 59:43Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject he wants to and I do too.
- 59:46Speaker 1: You know, like I said earlier, you're right, Shirley and
- 59:49Speaker 1: I with these ridiculous statements, these crazy all this wrong
- 59:54Speaker 1: going on, and at the end of it, you want
- 59:56Speaker 1: something good to come out of it and want us
- 59:58Speaker 1: to solve a ragged ass problems. Well we're not gonna
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: do it today. But what we're all gonna do is
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: show you how raggedy this thing is. I'm gonna ring
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a bell every time I'm about to read something unbelievable. Ready,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: here we go, Just Stephen Shelley Bell. I've been in
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: an open relationship with a great man for almost three years. Okay, Bell,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: He's been considerate of the way we choose to structure
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: our relationship. I bet he has. Until a few months ago.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Bill to me, no one can be truly faithful, So
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: I choose to be open with my boyfriend Bell. If
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: we're tempted to have sex with other people, we always
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: be honest with each other. Unto recently, I caught him
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: out with another woman, and she said he was her boyfriend.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I know the girl because he worked with him and
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: he always called out for being too black and trying
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: to date black men. Yes, she is white, Bill. He
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: admitted that he's been hooking up with her. Wait a minute,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: didn't you just say, y'all in a relationship, y'all in
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: an open relationship. Where is the surprise when he admitted
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to hooking up with her? Right? I asked, I don't
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: know whether beil. I asked him to bring her over
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to the house if that's the case, but he won't
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: share her with me. What which made me think he
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: likes her? I told him, if this is how things,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it's gonna be, bail, he can move out and I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: just move on with my life. I ain't know y'all
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: standing together, he swore, Bill, he swattered, he stopped messing
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: with her. I was still skeptical. Oh, so you think
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: all of a sudden, he don't lie. He a cheeped
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: y'all in an old relationship. But lying is out the question? What?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Wait a minute, he ain't posed to lie. Hen spread
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: itself all around town. He just can't lie. He swore
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: that he stopped messing with her. I'm still skeptical, Bill.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So I started seeing the guy I met in my jail.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I've never done anything behind my man's back, so this
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: was you ain't excitement. The sex with the guy was amaze,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: and he started wanting to see more and more. Bill,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: So I started making up lie after lie to sneak
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: out with him. You was just a Paul that ol
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Man would lie. But yall can sleep around, screw anybody
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: you want to screw, and then when you lie about
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: it not That's what I finally told the guy that
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I was in the open relationship and couldn't totally commit
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: to him. Bell. Then I admitted to my boyfriend that
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I was sneaking around Bell. He said he was still
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: seeing the white girl. Bell. He told me I had
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: to leave my side piece alone. Bell. I told him,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: if he can have two, then I want to too. Bell.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: He told me I can't do what he does, and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: he threatened to break up with me. Wait a minute,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: break up? What? Yeah, Bill? I really love my boyfriend.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Oh my god, whatever, there's no love in this. Ain't
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: love reading. I know, Bill, but I don't feel valued.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Wait a minute, Oh, you won't value Now you're passing
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: yourself around like potato chips, but you won't. You LAIDs
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: can't just eat one. But now you want to be
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: valued your man? No, you're passing your tail out all
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: around town. Now you won't value? Are you kidding me? Bill?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Am I stupid for being in this open lifestyle? No?
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I just thank you? Stupid? Period? What? But what was
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: this letter about? How do you come to me and Shirley?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: And God? Am I stupid for being in this open lifestyle?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: How is working out for you? Yeah? But Steve, one
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: more thing. Stop writing us if you're gonna do wrong
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: and then at the end want me and Shirley to
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: make it right. So what was you gonna ask me?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you when when he when he
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: told her he was still seeing the white girl and
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: she was so hurt? Yeah, what did you hurt? Fault?
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: What ain't you got the man at the jail? Ye?

- 1:19:38Speaker 1: up comedian. He was currently touring in his Pace Yourself
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: comedy tour. He and our girl Kim Whitley have toured
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: together recently and he said, She said and Battle of
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: the sexist comedy tours. David passed away on Wednesday. He
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: was fifty four years old. A lot of comedians knew him.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You knew him, Steve Jim, Yeah, man, I knew him.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: You know, I didn't know him personally. Um, you know,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: we had no ties. But man, this dude was funny
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: and I always like watched his clips and stuff like that.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I saw his last comedy special. Incredibly funny. Man. He
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: was just getting his dues. M. Really sad man. He
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: is a great father, a lot of material about being
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a dad, a husband, and it's just really sad man.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: You never know, man, it's that's young. Fifty four is
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: young man. Yeah, and you know it kind of makes
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: us all realize how blessed and fortunate we are to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: still be here. I was listening to Guy Tory's reflection
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: of all his brother who he knew quite well. So
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: for me, I didn't know him well at all, but
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that that comedian fraternity is a small one and it's
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: a hard one too, because it's really really hard to
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: be a comedian. That's a really, really tough profession. But
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: did this this wife lost, his children lost. That's a
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: tough one, man, that's really tough. Condolences go out. Did
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: you know him Junior? Yeah, Man, I would work with
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: him a couple of times. Man. He's a great writer, man,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: incredible writer. He wrote for a lot of shows on Nickelodeon. Man,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: he was he just a conversation about how he felt
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: about comedy. Was just all passion, love of brother. Man.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: He was very very funny. Man that if you didn't
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: get a chance watch that Netflix special. It ain't falt,
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: it ain't for the week. It's just pure genius comedy.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Wise man. So we condolence to his family absolutely. Man.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: So sad, very sad. Yeah, heartbreaking, heartbreaking Yeah yeah, Okay,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: life all right, Steve. I know that's a hard transition,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: but well, I mean, you know, it's it's a part
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: of life. You know, we were talking earlier about changing
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: directions and this has nothing to do with David Arnold,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: So I don't want anybody to try to think I'm
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: tying the two together. I was choosing to speak on
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the subject of changing directions. You know, sometimes as human
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: beings having the power of choice. I don't know if
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: you've done this before, but have you ever made the
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: wrong choice? I'm not saying you have, but I'm saying,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: if you're listening to me, you've probably made a bad
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: choice before. I mean, we've been making bad choices since
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: we were born. I mean, who ain't. But when you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: make a bad choice, sometimes it's better to admit that
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you've made a bad choice and just I'm no longer
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: gonna go down this path. It's okay. Stop looking at
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: how much time you've been on the path, how much
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: you've invested in the path, what people think about you
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: on the path. If you're on a bad path, man,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you're just on a bad path. It's okay to change
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: your mind. It's all right, It's okay. Look, man, some
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: people stay in situations far too long. I know I have.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I've stayed in a bad situation far too long, and
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: it's when I knew good and well this was not
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: working for me, and I stayed anyway. Now, I have
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: no one to blame but myself for that. The other
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: person didn't make me stay. It wasn't the other person's
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: fault that I made the choice. It was me. I
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: made a decision. Well, when you make these decisions, folks,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: it's okay to change your mind. Now. My father used
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: to say all the time, don't get stuck on stupid boy.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: Once you determine it's stupid, you can stop. Don't get
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: stuck on that because it's a mistake you've rade. Everybody
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: makes them. It's okay to go in another direction. And
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: it's okay. Look, man, I'm all about being right or die.
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: But I'm I'm gonna be right or die with somebody
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that's right to die with me if you ain't right,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: or die with me. How you want me to be
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: right or die with you? You want me to be
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: loyal to you, but you're loyal to me is gone.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: So I just say to people all the time, don't
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: be afraid to change your mind. Don't be afraid to
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: get off the bad path. It's okay. There's no law
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: that says you have to ride it out. Now. If
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you said some vows, okay, I got that. You probably
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: have a different obligation. But at one point in time
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: you gotta remember too that the other person said so too. Now,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: if you're not gonna keep yours, you please need to
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: stop looking overhead me because I'm gonna make the same
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: decision you make. It. It's just the way it is.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: It's called life. Ask God for forgiveness and get on
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: about your business. But don't stay on the bad path.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: And you know it's leading you to know, ask God mercy. Hey,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: that's it, y'all. Talk to God to day, y'all. He'd
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: love to hear from you, all right. For all Steve
