- 1:43Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water got me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby, huh. I shall well a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dignity now one it only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I want to talk to you today about success. But
- 2:22Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about it like I
- 2:25Speaker 1: usually do in terms of a principle of it, but
- 2:29Speaker 1: I want to share something with you about it. And
- 2:33Speaker 1: I was talking to my daughter about it. I've talked
- 2:36Speaker 1: about my son in law about it, talking about it
- 2:38Speaker 1: with all my children, and I'm really starting to express
- 2:41Speaker 1: it to them now because I'm talking to a wide
- 2:45Speaker 1: range of people constantly. But I want to share something
- 2:48Speaker 1: with you. If you have any aspiration of being successful,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I want you to realize, starting right now, the effort
- 2:58Speaker 1: that is going to require, And that's why I think
- 3:01Speaker 1: it stops a lot of people. I think a lot
- 3:03Speaker 1: of people are never told or don't understand the sheer
- 3:08Speaker 1: effort that's that it takes to become successful at anything,
- 3:13Speaker 1: in any area of your life. If you think that
- 3:16Speaker 1: doing your best is enough, that I got news for you.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It's not. Well, Steve, what if you've done your best, though,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and your best ain't good enough? Well, let me ask
- 3:30Speaker 1: you that same question. Hold on. If you want to
- 3:32Speaker 1: be successful and you've done your best and best isn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: good enough? What you through? That's it? But Steve, it
- 3:40Speaker 1: was my best? No no, no, no no. It was
- 3:43Speaker 1: the best you had at that time, in that particular day.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But tomorrow add something to it. You've you've never done everything.
- 3:53Speaker 1: There is no you can't go no more, you can't
- 3:57Speaker 1: add no more. I've seen marathon run us end up
- 4:00Speaker 1: crawling across the line. I've seen triath line people man
- 4:04Speaker 1: just staggering in the street and didn't want nobody to
- 4:07Speaker 1: help them because they knew that would disqualify them from
- 4:11Speaker 1: the race. You got more? Have you ever dipped into
- 4:17Speaker 1: your reserve tank? That's what we're talking about now. See
- 4:21Speaker 1: all of us have a reserve tank. You know. I.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You know, on my ranch, I like to ride four wheelers.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I have all terrain vehicles and all of them have
- 4:30Speaker 1: a gas tank on it and a gas tank and
- 4:33Speaker 1: most of mine let me see all of them. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 1: all of them have gas tank needles on them, and
- 4:38Speaker 1: it lets me know. When I get down towards eat
- 4:41Speaker 1: there's a little lane that's read that lets me know. Okay, Steve,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you're in the danger zone. Now you're riding into the
- 4:49Speaker 1: lowest part of your tank. But if I keep riding
- 4:51Speaker 1: and I forget to get some gas in there, guess
- 4:54Speaker 1: what when it runs out of gas. All of my
- 4:58Speaker 1: all terrain vehicles, all of them, Honda Polaris, all of them.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Those are the makers. There's a button on the gas
- 5:08Speaker 1: tank itself that I can click and it says reserve.
- 5:12Speaker 1: That means they know that for the hardcore riders, they're
- 5:18Speaker 1: gonna ride somewhere and they're gonna get themselves in a
- 5:20Speaker 1: situation and they're gonna run out of everything, They're gonna
- 5:24Speaker 1: run out of road, they're gonna run out of gas.
- 5:27Speaker 1: They've prepared because they know for the hardcore rider, every
- 5:31Speaker 1: hardcore rider needs a reserve tank. And so there's a
- 5:35Speaker 1: button that you can click on the gas tank that
- 5:38Speaker 1: clicks it into a reserve, and it will give you
- 5:41Speaker 1: about fifty miles or twenty miles worth of gas in
- 5:45Speaker 1: that Now, guess what in that reserve That may be
- 5:49Speaker 1: all you need to get you to where you're going
- 5:52Speaker 1: or get you back to safety so you can refuel.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Don't tell me you've done your best. When your best
- 5:59Speaker 1: don't cut it. What you're gonna do. See when best
- 6:03Speaker 1: is possible, then good enough ain't enough. See that's good enough.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But if the best is possible, why would you not
- 6:11Speaker 1: shoot for that? And you you are all capable of
- 6:15Speaker 1: making it. But you've got to change your mindset and
- 6:18Speaker 1: realize the effort that has to be put forth in
- 6:21Speaker 1: becoming successful. You've got to do it relentlessly, over and
- 6:26Speaker 1: over and over and over. And every day I try
- 6:30Speaker 1: to do something to progress my life for the better.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I try to do something every day. I wake up
- 6:36Speaker 1: every day with the plan. Some phone calls, some meetings,
- 6:40Speaker 1: some some some interviews. Something Man that's going to advance
- 6:45Speaker 1: and move the brand forward. Because here's what's gonna happen.
- 6:48Speaker 1: You are Let's say you reach your goal. Let's say
- 6:51Speaker 1: your goal is to make one hundred thousand dollars. Well,
- 6:56Speaker 1: I got news for you. Listen to this. When you
- 6:59Speaker 1: make the one thousand dollars, you can't go nowhere and
- 7:02Speaker 1: go on vacation and put your hand behind your head
- 7:05Speaker 1: and say, I made a hundred thousand dollars. Guess what
- 7:08Speaker 1: you got to do. You got to find a way
- 7:10Speaker 1: now to maintain that one hundred thousand, to keep it
- 7:13Speaker 1: coming in. So you can't just get there and stop
- 7:17Speaker 1: and rest and whoa. It is harder to maintain your
- 7:21Speaker 1: success than it is to get successful. See let's say,
- 7:26Speaker 1: let me let me show you this. Supposed it takes
- 7:28Speaker 1: you five to eight years to find a way to
- 7:34Speaker 1: make fifty thousand dollars. Let's say it takes you five
- 7:37Speaker 1: to eight years to find a way to make an
- 7:40Speaker 1: extra fifty thousand dollars, and you finally, through work and effort,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you get to the fifty thousand dollars. Are that's that's
- 7:49Speaker 1: it's only just begun now, because guess what, in order
- 7:52Speaker 1: to keep the fifty coming in, you got to duplicate
- 7:57Speaker 1: what you did to get there, and then, oh, here's
- 8:01Speaker 1: what you're going to have the audacity being a human being.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You're gonna want another fifty because you're a human being,
- 8:10Speaker 1: because you gotta have something else to shoot for. Now
- 8:12Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Well, now that guess what
- 8:14Speaker 1: you gotta do. Now, Now you gotta do what you
- 8:16Speaker 1: did before, plus you gotta come up with something else.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Then after that, you're gonna have the audacity. Because you're humans,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you're gonna want another fifty. Says how this works? And
- 8:29Speaker 1: see that that's that that's the importance of your relationship
- 8:33Speaker 1: with God, because you're gonna constantly need it and ain't
- 8:36Speaker 1: other point where you're gonna be through needing it. But
- 8:39Speaker 1: there ain't gonna become a point in your life where
- 8:41Speaker 1: you're gonna through. Won't through, be through, won't nothing unless
- 8:43Speaker 1: you just gave up. And if you don't gave up,
- 8:45Speaker 1: who wants that? Come on, y'all, this is going to
- 8:49Speaker 1: take quite a bit of effort, and if you think
- 8:53Speaker 1: it will come to you any other way, you're sadly mistaken.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Because of all the successful people I know, I know
- 9:00Speaker 1: that the effort they put out on a daily basis
- 9:02Speaker 1: is daunting, and I think that the average person just
- 9:05Speaker 1: doesn't understand the requirement of time and effort that it
- 9:09Speaker 1: takes to get that, and willingness to put it out.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You gotta cut a lot of monkey business out your life.
- 9:16Speaker 1: All that hanging out, all that late and all that
- 9:19Speaker 1: club and all that drinking, all that. You gotta cut
- 9:22Speaker 1: a whole lot of monkey business out to be successful. Man,
- 9:27Speaker 1: if you're planning on being successful, get up early, stay
- 9:31Speaker 1: up late, work, try, think, meet, greet, smile, attract. It
- 9:38Speaker 1: takes a lot, let's go, but you can do it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: God is pressed to plassing out blessings all day long.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why are you not in line for yours? I'm telling
- 9:46Speaker 1: you right now, I want everything God got for me,
- 9:49Speaker 1: because what he's shown me so far. Who if he
- 9:52Speaker 1: got some ore? Man on man, how good is God? Huh?
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, Uh, ladies and gentlemen, it's about to go down.
- 10:04Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show live in full effect.

- 11:21Speaker 1: forth in this house. We just do faulk. I thought
- 11:26Speaker 1: you just made that up. I like it even more. Yeah, yeah, no,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I didn't make that one. Who is gonna call you
- 11:37Speaker 1: back talk and no back talking? At eleven twenty three,
- 11:41Speaker 1: No suck, no back, It's just me and your mama,

- 13:19Speaker 1: two after the hours. No caps over here. Hang on, Steve,
- 13:23Speaker 1: we gotta go to break, but we gotta go to break.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Here's the thing why black people need to go to
- 13:31Speaker 1: Africa so they can stop asking silly questions about Africa. Okay,
- 13:38Speaker 1: for example, yeah, coming up at thirty two after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show. All right, guys, it's
- 13:46Speaker 1: time now for something funny, and Steve is here with
- 13:49Speaker 1: why people need to go to Africa so they can
- 13:52Speaker 1: stop asking these silly questions about Africa. Okay, listen, I'm
- 13:58Speaker 1: telling you I'm over here, and it is that Johannesburg
- 14:03Speaker 1: is like Atlanta. I mean, it's built up. The airport
- 14:09Speaker 1: is super major, Johannesburg Airport International, it's super major. They've
- 14:14Speaker 1: got everything over here, everything, all the high end stores,
- 14:19Speaker 1: ladies that you all like to perue, you know, do
- 14:24Speaker 1: your thing, and you know they just got everything. But
- 14:28Speaker 1: you talk to people sometimes like I got some of
- 14:30Speaker 1: the ignorantist questions from people that I know, and I'm
- 14:35Speaker 1: ashamed to say that I know them. I really am.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Here's some of the This is why every black person
- 14:43Speaker 1: ought to just come on and go to Africa. So
- 14:45Speaker 1: y'all stop asking ignorant questions about Africa. Do they have
- 14:50Speaker 1: buildings in Africa? What building? What are you talking about?
- 14:57Speaker 1: Stop watching movies, boy, there. All theses came from relatives
- 15:04Speaker 1: and old homies in mind that know I'm over here.
- 15:07Speaker 1: How long are you gonna be over there? The Africans
- 15:09Speaker 1: speak English? Yeah, a lot of the majority of the
- 15:18Speaker 1: people that I meet over here are bilingual. The majority
- 15:22Speaker 1: of people I meet over here speak two in three languages. Wow, dog,
- 15:31Speaker 1: they got cars in Africa. Un everybody is on the
- 15:36Speaker 1: back of an elephant rush hour. Hell over here, elephants
- 15:44Speaker 1: asking me that they've been asking stuff like this, What
- 15:48Speaker 1: type of money should I have if I go to Africa? Hey, man, cash?
- 15:53Speaker 1: What kind of cash? But dog? What kind of money
- 15:58Speaker 1: do I need? Brain? Can they can't count? Wow? What else? What?
- 16:11Speaker 1: What part of Africa is where they feel the lion king?
- 16:18Speaker 1: You're dumb ass talking about the lion king? That ain't that?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Ain't real? Dog? You talking about where the hell they
- 16:25Speaker 1: feel the lion King? If I go to Africa, what
- 16:30Speaker 1: do I eat? Or do I have to hunt? Where
- 16:38Speaker 1: did I eat? Dog? Am I gonna have to go hunting?
- 16:43Speaker 1: Take your ass over there to McDonald's and burger can, dog, Dog?
- 16:52Speaker 1: Do the sun ever go down in Africa? Down? Food?
- 16:59Speaker 1: It's called nightfall? What you think the animals doing just
- 17:03Speaker 1: walking around. Man, I'm tired. Man show was on to
- 17:08Speaker 1: get some sleep. All this damn sun over him. Now,
- 17:14Speaker 1: all these questions out of had people ask me on
- 17:18Speaker 1: all different types of platform. Do all Africas have mold
- 17:22Speaker 1: in one white? But don't come over here trying that.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I bet you get that a lot. Yeah, that's probably that.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Hell if I did, I wouldn't have had had all
- 17:36Speaker 1: these damn divorces. You'd have been good. Do I have
- 17:42Speaker 1: to take a die? She get Africa? I just asked
- 17:46Speaker 1: for party partner. A collar shirt of be fine. Matter
- 17:50Speaker 1: of fact, a suit would be even better. M Listen
- 17:57Speaker 1: has got on his nerves. Can't a man for you
- 18:00Speaker 1: when you come back? Dog? You think I can get
- 18:02Speaker 1: an autograph and a picture with a Prince A keen
- 18:06Speaker 1: from the Monday, autograph from Prince I Keen from the Monday.
- 18:23Speaker 1: All my stuff I've been dealing with over here. But man,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, man, I've got to arrange some
- 18:31Speaker 1: kind of way to make a trip to invite as
- 18:34Speaker 1: many African Americans I can to come here and see
- 18:38Speaker 1: this place. I wish every African American would put it
- 18:42Speaker 1: on their bucket list. Yeah, you know, save up, man,
- 18:47Speaker 1: make some plans, but do do yourself a favor. I'm
- 18:52Speaker 1: just talking to those This is only for those who
- 18:57Speaker 1: have the desire to do it. It's worth the sacrifice
- 19:02Speaker 1: to come home and see it. It really is worth
- 19:05Speaker 1: the sacrifice, whatever it takes to come home. It would
- 19:10Speaker 1: mean so much to you that I can promise you
- 19:13Speaker 1: and go ahead. Now, you were saying, when you're there,
- 19:18Speaker 1: it really makes you feel like you're home. You're actually Hey, man,
- 19:22Speaker 1: listen to me. Imagine this. Just imagine this. I'm just
- 19:27Speaker 1: talking to black people for a second. Imagine this. Imagine
- 19:31Speaker 1: walking down the street, walking in your office, getting on
- 19:34Speaker 1: the elevator, sitting in traffic, going to the store, shopping
- 19:39Speaker 1: in the mall. And you ain't the only one, Wow,
- 19:46Speaker 1: in your department, at work, you're not the only one.
- 19:51Speaker 1: You're on the elevator, You're not the only one. Oh yeah,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you're not the only one on your street. Yeah you
- 20:01Speaker 1: see what I'm saying. Yeah, imagine what that would be
- 20:05Speaker 1: like when everybody everywhere you went you like you. Yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 1: it's it's such a difference, man. And at first, when
- 20:18Speaker 1: you first come here, if you until you get a
- 20:22Speaker 1: minute a day to get you you go, Wow, man,
- 20:25Speaker 1: why all these black people come from? Yeah, I'm telling you, man,
- 20:31Speaker 1: it throws you off because in America, you're not accustomed
- 20:34Speaker 1: to that. Because those of us who work in the workforce,
- 20:38Speaker 1: we know how it feels. It's such a different feeling. Man.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You should come and see what it feels like. All right,
- 20:45Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve coming up next, and nephew Tommy, run
- 20:49Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening to coming
- 20:55Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. Fifty Cent said,
- 20:58Speaker 1: if this backlash continues, he might have to put the
- 21:01Speaker 1: original version of Power's theme song, Big Rich Town back. Yes,
- 21:06Speaker 1: thank you, Yes, yes, you didn't change anything but that.
- 21:14Speaker 1: We want that, all right, plus yes Jackson, you nasty
- 21:20Speaker 1: please plus um, Well, we'll talk about some of the
- 21:24Speaker 1: highlights from last night's MTA MTV VMA's Right now it
- 21:28Speaker 1: is time for the nephew would run that brank back?
- 21:31Speaker 1: What you got for us? Now? I got six to teen? Okay,

- 21:56Speaker 1: I do? Who is this? Okay? Was you there. Did
- 21:59Speaker 1: you work last Wednesday? Like from six to I guess
- 22:02Speaker 1: six to close? Yeah? I work every Wednesday. Yeah? Who
- 22:06Speaker 1: who is this? Hey? My name is Ralph and I basically, uh,
- 22:11Speaker 1: you know, looked around to try and get your phone. Numb.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I got a bit of a complaint. R out. Wait
- 22:15Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait, you're calling me with a complaint
- 22:18Speaker 1: on my cell phone. Who gave you my number? I've
- 22:20Speaker 1: done the research to get your number, man, And what
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm calling you about is while I was in there
- 22:24Speaker 1: at getting a sandwich and eating, I'm realizing that you
- 22:28Speaker 1: came out of the bathroom without washing your hands, and
- 22:30Speaker 1: which First of all, you need to be calling the
- 22:33Speaker 1: corporate headquarters if you got a complaint, or you call
- 22:35Speaker 1: that eight hundred number on the back of your receipt.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Don't be calling my cell phone. Whoever gave your gave
- 22:40Speaker 1: you myself on I'm a whoop day. Hey. Listen, listen.
- 22:43Speaker 1: The problem is is that you're coming out not washing
- 22:45Speaker 1: your hands. No, No, the problem I don't never come
- 22:48Speaker 1: out and not wash my hands. First of all, I've
- 22:51Speaker 1: been working out for three years, okay, be coming at
- 22:54Speaker 1: me with no books that I hain't came out and
- 22:56Speaker 1: I washed my hand. I guess you ain't been washing
- 22:58Speaker 1: your hands for three years, and you you're coming out,
- 23:02Speaker 1: you know, unsanitizing this way you're treating people's don't First
- 23:05Speaker 1: of all, don't be calling my phone talking behind it.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I ain't washed my hands, like I said. I've been
- 23:11Speaker 1: there three years. I've been employer of the month six times.

- 29:08Speaker 1: I think we need a drum roll because what I'm
- 29:12Speaker 1: get ready to telling on you this is so major,
- 29:16Speaker 1: this is so big, this is so freaking epic. I
- 29:23Speaker 1: had to say it. I had to say it. I
- 29:26Speaker 1: had to. I'm okay, all right, Steve, this is exciting. Okay,
- 29:31Speaker 1: you're in Africa. You've been there for a minute. Okay,
- 29:35Speaker 1: Why is Steve Harvey in Africa? Everybody has been asking
- 29:38Speaker 1: me that. All right, I'm getting ready to tell you.
- 29:41Speaker 1: You know why Steve Harvey's in Africa? Wait, you gonna
- 29:45Speaker 1: tell him? I'm get ready to tell you right now.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Everybody's been asking me. Okay, Steve Harvey is going international? Baby?
- 29:56Speaker 1: What does that mean? Thank you? Gee? Is this? What
- 30:00Speaker 1: does this mean? This means? I know? I'm more excited,
- 30:04Speaker 1: I know, Oh my god. Okay, Steve Harvey is going
- 30:11Speaker 1: to launch, okay and host Family Feud in Africa? Whoa? Why? Who? What?
- 30:22Speaker 1: You heard what I said? Junior? Don't make me hold
- 30:25Speaker 1: don't make me hold on Surveys says fud. Family Feud
- 30:34Speaker 1: is going international Okaylo Africa. To be specific, Steve Harvey
- 30:41Speaker 1: has been set to launch and host versions of Freemantles
- 30:45Speaker 1: Family Feud in South Africa. Where is Steve right now? Johannesburg,
- 30:50Speaker 1: South Africa. Yeah, that's been Ghana. That's what saba already.
- 30:56Speaker 1: That's why. Okay, let's let me get this out. Okay,
- 31:01Speaker 1: be quiet, Steve, I got this. Okay, I got this.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I'm so excited because this is really in an unprecedented
- 31:09Speaker 1: deal with Fremantle, Steve Harvey's media company, Steve Harvey Global.
- 31:16Speaker 1: You get that keyword global? All right? Yes, International has
- 31:23Speaker 1: obtained the rights to license the format. Okay, he has
- 31:28Speaker 1: obtained the rights to license the format for the African
- 31:33Speaker 1: versions of Family Feud? What s what? Gezus? The local
- 31:40Speaker 1: versions that will be produced by Fremantle's local production partner
- 31:43Speaker 1: in the region called Rapid Blue. All right, that's what
- 31:50Speaker 1: black people who don't read his black ass own Family
- 31:54Speaker 1: Feud and Africa. That's what I said. We still haven't
- 32:03Speaker 1: heard from Steve. Yes, you're in Africa. Yes, that was Jesus.
- 32:12Speaker 1: When I came off vacation. I had my team working
- 32:17Speaker 1: on this last November when I came to Africa for
- 32:22Speaker 1: the De Beers Diamond Council meeting in Botswana. It's when
- 32:29Speaker 1: I first came up with the idea and so I said, well,
- 32:34Speaker 1: let me see if this would work. So I called
- 32:36Speaker 1: my partners at Fremantle. First, I told my team, Brandon
- 32:40Speaker 1: Williams and to Beauty to go to work and see
- 32:44Speaker 1: if this vision that I had could could happen. So
- 32:47Speaker 1: they got on the phone and made some phone calls
- 32:49Speaker 1: and come to find out, Uh, it had never been
- 32:52Speaker 1: done before. So what I did was I bought the
- 32:57Speaker 1: global rights to Family Feud, you know, the licensing deals
- 33:01Speaker 1: and everything in South Africa and in Ghana, because I thought,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I said, man, this would be great, because you know,
- 33:09Speaker 1: you've seen my vision board Shirley Caller for years, You've
- 33:13Speaker 1: seen Africa on that vision. I've been trying to figure
- 33:17Speaker 1: out a way I could affect the continent of Africa,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and so I bought the rights to do it internationally,
- 33:27Speaker 1: and I wanted to do it in Africa. A lot
- 33:29Speaker 1: of prayer went into this because it's never been done before.
- 33:33Speaker 1: No one's ever done this, so it took a lot
- 33:35Speaker 1: of prayer. But I really have to take my hat
- 33:38Speaker 1: off to Freemantle, who said, okay, Steve, if you think
- 33:43Speaker 1: of the work, let's give it a shot. And they
- 33:46Speaker 1: sold me the rights to do it because it gives
- 33:49Speaker 1: me some ownership. And I wanted to go back to
- 33:53Speaker 1: the Motherland and I wanted to do something on the
- 33:56Speaker 1: continent of Africa and it's gonna bring a lot of
- 33:59Speaker 1: jobs in that area. Yeah, which is needed. And it's
- 34:03Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of fun watching these uh African
- 34:07Speaker 1: families playing against African families with me as the host.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I just thought it would be hilarious. The format is
- 34:13Speaker 1: going to be slightly different. We're gonna do one hour
- 34:15Speaker 1: shows instead of thirty minute shows. Wow. Wow, the deal
- 34:20Speaker 1: is done. It's inked. It's in the process. We started hiring,
- 34:25Speaker 1: we started to question process was doing the families right now,
- 34:30Speaker 1: and we made the announcement today in Johannesburg. So can
- 34:34Speaker 1: we say this, Steve, when you when you cut your
- 34:37Speaker 1: TV show, your talk show recently or earlier this year,
- 34:41Speaker 1: that's why you were saying, we get it now. You
- 34:44Speaker 1: weren't worried, you know, when all the haters started coming
- 34:48Speaker 1: out and all of that bsings. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you
- 34:52Speaker 1: were saying all of that. So okay, I didn't really
- 34:56Speaker 1: know at the time. I didn't know at the time.
- 34:59Speaker 1: So you just wanted to do it. You knew you wanted.
- 35:03Speaker 1: But what I learned in my meditation was when you
- 35:07Speaker 1: ask off something, you just got to go in faith
- 35:09Speaker 1: and be willing to do the work. I didn't know
- 35:11Speaker 1: exactly what was happening. But I didn't worry about the
- 35:13Speaker 1: cancelation of the show, didn't. I never fretted about it
- 35:17Speaker 1: because when one door closes, what I learned was all
- 35:21Speaker 1: you gotta do is walk up the hall. Yeah, and
- 35:24Speaker 1: you said Africa Opens, Africa Open, Steve, We love you. Congratulations.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We remember when you got Family Feud the show in America.
- 35:38Speaker 1: We remember that. Remember. Yeah, all right, we'll be back
- 35:43Speaker 1: with Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this Africa Open.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, Steve. People were talking about
- 35:55Speaker 1: last night's MTV VMAs. Of course Missy Elliott did hurt things.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Yes she did. She always brings it anyway, she always
- 36:02Speaker 1: does sin. Yeah. So since we have music on the brain,
- 36:05Speaker 1: we're talking about music, Steve, let's continue. We did this yesterday.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Let's continue with your top fifty R and B artists

- 36:15Speaker 1: know who came up with this top fifty R and

- 56:19Speaker 1: have you subject. This bomb has got to go. Dear
- 56:22Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, my husband and I have been together for
- 56:25Speaker 1: ten years. He has the biggest heart. His empathy toward
- 56:29Speaker 1: his fellow man is what made me fall in love
- 56:32Speaker 1: with him. However, his big heart has been a big
- 56:34Speaker 1: problem lately. He does community outreach for a struggling adult
- 56:39Speaker 1: and last year he met a guy that was trying
- 56:42Speaker 1: to get his life back on track. So my husband
- 56:44Speaker 1: helped this man get a job and an apartment. The
- 56:47Speaker 1: problem is now. This man is one of my husband's
- 56:50Speaker 1: best friend and I can't stand him. It's not because
- 56:54Speaker 1: of his past that I dislike him. It's because he's annoying, rude,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and a dirty person. My husband treats him like he's
- 57:03Speaker 1: one of our kids. My husband loans him money and
- 57:06Speaker 1: has even pitched in a few times to help pay
- 57:09Speaker 1: help pay his rent and utilities. This guy has showed
- 57:12Speaker 1: up drunk to our house several times, and it's unacceptable,
- 57:17Speaker 1: unacceptable because we have small children. On the occasion when
- 57:21Speaker 1: he comes to my house, he doesn't speak. He just
- 57:25Speaker 1: goes straight to the fridge or pantry. I have taken
- 57:28Speaker 1: food or beers out of his hand and said, hello,
- 57:31Speaker 1: do you know how to speak? My husband acts like
- 57:34Speaker 1: I'm wrong and I'm the one being rude. Then I
- 57:37Speaker 1: mention he's dirty and smells like a trash dumpster. I
- 57:40Speaker 1: told my husband that enough is enough, but he insists
- 57:45Speaker 1: that it's our duty to help those who are struggling.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Can you believe my husband wants our children to start
- 57:50Speaker 1: calling him uncle. I really want this vile man out
- 57:53Speaker 1: of our lives, but my husband insists he's a good
- 57:56Speaker 1: man and I need to give him a chance. Well,
- 57:58Speaker 1: I have tried, but now I need to know how
- 58:00Speaker 1: to get rid of him for good. Please help, And
- 58:03Speaker 1: yes you have tried. You've gone along with your husband
- 58:06Speaker 1: for this long. This is ridiculous. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I don't even know where to start. Really, your husband
- 58:13Speaker 1: is the one that's wrong here. He has put his
- 58:15Speaker 1: family at risk and subjected you and the children to
- 58:20Speaker 1: the bad manners and rudeness of this man. Not to
- 58:23Speaker 1: mention the smell and the dirt you say he has
- 58:25Speaker 1: you pull wants this in their home. I don't care
- 58:29Speaker 1: how nice or or and how sweet or how big
- 58:32Speaker 1: your man's heart is. You don't bring strangers into your
- 58:36Speaker 1: home with your family like this, especially when you have
- 58:39Speaker 1: small children. He's come in drunk before. Come on, what
- 58:42Speaker 1: kind of example is he setting? Going in your refrigerator,
- 58:46Speaker 1: your pantry. No, ma'am, we don't do this. Listen. This
- 58:50Speaker 1: is your house too, and you need to start acting
- 58:53Speaker 1: like it. Okay, you can say no and ask this
- 58:56Speaker 1: man to go and put him out and change the locks.
- 58:58Speaker 1: This is your home too. You have to protect your
- 59:01Speaker 1: children and your family if your If your husband isn't
- 59:04Speaker 1: doing that, okay, you need to sit your husband down
- 59:07Speaker 1: and let him know. Look, even if you have to
- 59:09Speaker 1: give him an ultimate ultimatum here, either he goes or
- 59:13Speaker 1: I go, because this is ridiculous. This is not your
- 59:16Speaker 1: husband's best friend. He's paying his rent, his utilities. Come.
- 59:20Speaker 1: This is so crazy to me. No, your house, to
- 59:24Speaker 1: your rules. Okay, you can put him out, Steve. You're
- 59:28Speaker 1: still man about the list? Yeah yeah, yeah, but I'm
- 59:31Speaker 1: even more mad about this. Damn let it now? So
- 59:33Speaker 1: will we come back? Yes, we ain't. We ain't got
- 59:36Speaker 1: to recap nothing. We're gonna get. We gonna do that. Well,
- 59:43Speaker 1: we come back funky all right, So you heard it
- 59:48Speaker 1: from Steve. We'll have part one and two and whatever
- 59:51Speaker 1: of his response coming up at twenty three after the hour.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Subject this bomb has gotta go. You're listening to Harvey
- 59:59Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, here we are. We gotta
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: recap today's Strubberry letters. Subject the bumm has gotta go.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I know you don't want to, but let's give her
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: a quick recap. All right. Here it is she fell
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: in love with a husband because he's got such a
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: big heart and he helps humanity. He tells community outreach
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: with struggling adults. He met this guy and you know,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: trying to get his life back on track, and so
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: he he helped a man find a job in the apartment,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and well, not a man is one of your husband
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: best friends and you can't stand him, and not because
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: of his past, you just don't like him because he's annoying, rude,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and he's a dirty person. My husband treat him like
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you wanted our kids and his cousbind loaning money, pitching
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: a few times to help him with his retten utility.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: This guy that showed up drunk to the house to kids,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: you don't want it because he got small kids to
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: come to your house. He don't speak. He goes straight
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to the refrigerator and pantry out taking food and be
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: out of his hand and said, oh hello, do you
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: know how to speak? And then your husband act like
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: you wrong and everything. Then I mentioned he's dirty and
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: he smelled like a trash dumpster. I told my husband
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: enough is enough, but he insists it's our duty to
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: help those who are struggling. Can you believe my husband
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: wants our children start calling him uncle? Well, I want
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: this vile man out of our lives. Where my husband
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: assists he's a good man. I need to give him
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: a chance. Well I have tried, but I need to
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: know how to get rid of him for good. Please help. Okay,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you've come to the right place. I'm in to get
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: your ass out of her bids. The one thing I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: know how to do is get you out of my
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: damn house. First of all, he dirty. He walked his
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: ass right up in the house and then opened up
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the refrigerator. You ought to have a Tubi four in
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: your hand. And whoever he puts the refrigerator plust his ass,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: crossed his back, that damn and then say, oh, hello,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: as in the refrigerator with your dirty eggs sitting up
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: in here. Your husband pitching in for renting all this hill.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: You could be buying shoes or something with that money.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Now you do have to help the less fortunate. I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: got that. But to help the less fortunate got to
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: try to help themselves too. And manners. You don't have
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: to be or well off to have manners coming in
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: your house touching refrigerator. Then he wanted kids and start
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: calling him high uncle fucking can come Uncle funking, and
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: we're gonna call him. We're gonna call him all right,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Now listen to me. He going in the pantry and
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: all this hill my husband act like you wrong, And
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: then I mentioned he's dirty and he smelled like a
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: trash dumpster. Now listen to me. You got to bathe sir,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you can't just come in him now after the keys
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: his calling your uncle funky. You want this vile man.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Iut your lives, but your husband and says he's a
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: good man to give it. I need help getting him out. Well,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I got a couple of things you can do to
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: get him out. Now. I want you to get you
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: remember them live bitty pocket knives that you can kind
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: of clean your fingernails with. Yeah, but it's a look.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: You gotta really pinch to get the blade out because
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: you don't want to butcher knife for nothing. But whenever
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: he opened the refrigerator, stabbing with one of them little
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: last night, but just in his ass though, stabbing his
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: ass and the back of his thigh. I'm telling you
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: right now, shoot his ass up on the ceiling like
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: a cat in a cartoon. I want to try that.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: Here's another thing you can do. I'm talking about how
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to get rid of him. Soon as he opened the
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: door of the house, pepper spray his ass, just a
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: quick shot. It don't take a lot, just like that.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Everybody ridden this to me. That's all. Don't do this here.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Don't do that. It's gonna get on the kids. It's
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: gonna get on the kids. What you want is this here, Jeff,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: and throw his ass into something. Here's another thing you
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: can do to get rid of people who stink real bad.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: If you throw a match on their clothes, they asser
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: go up right away. I've seen it happen. You know
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: that strong rooma that strong year in the roma. Yeah,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you want to just throw him out his asser go
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: up right away. You thanding that you ain't got no ever.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: There's all you did with throw a match. Here's another
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: thing you can do to stop him from coming back,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: because I know he got one when he come by.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Take the wheel off his bike. Let's go out there,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: put a wrench and take the wheel off the bike.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Throw the wheel under your porch. He can't find it.

- 1:08:20Speaker 1: got this, Okay, I got this. I'm so because this
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: is really in an unprecedented deal with Freemantle, Steve Harvey's
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: media company, Steve Harvey Global. You get that keyword global right, yes, International,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: has obtained the rights to license the format. Okay, he
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: has obtained the rights to license the format for the
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: African versions of Family Feud. What what Jesus? The local
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: versions that will be produced by Freemant local production partner

- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Feud in Africa. That's what I said, because when one
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: door closes, what I learned was all you gotta do
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: is walk up the hall. Yeah, and you said, Africa opens,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Africa open. Steve, we love you. Congratulations. Coming up at
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: the top of the hour, o j Simpson is mad
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: and we'll tell you why. Right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Morning Show. Now onto some trending really
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: stupid news here. Oja Simpson is mad. Okay, like stupid news.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I don't know about you, guys, but that makes me uncomfortable.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Give a damn. I don't want him. You don't want him?
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Uh well, anyway, this time he's mad because he drafted
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Andrew Luck on his fantasy team. You talked about that yesterday, Junior. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: you know, with all the fantasy football drafts that are
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: going around right now, it's safe to say there are
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: a good chunk of players that got the shaft big time.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: When former Indianapolis Could quarterback Andrew Luck announced his retirement,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: it turns out that Oja is one of those people.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: All right. Just an hour and a half before the announcement,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: OJ had picked him for his team, and in a
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Twitter video, OJ wondered what he ever did to Andrew
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Luck to deserve such treatment. Take a listen, and what
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: did I do to you? You couldn't retired an hour
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and a half ago before I picked you in my
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: fantasy bags? I mean, what did I do? I've been
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: a baby. Why would you do this to me? Come
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: out of returnment? I'm just saying that's why he retired.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: He found out he was here for I haven't he
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: quit after you found out he was on OJ? Because
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: he said, if I am a bad week of the juice, Wow,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: come to them gloves mate, twitnyody give a damn? And secondly,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: what makes him think he's funny? Yeah? The sense of humor,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: that's that's yeah, we don't want that, o j Okay.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Last thing we won't is you cutting up. That's how
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: that last time he was funny, wasn't it naked? Gunn?
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: The last joke you told? All right? Yeah, I was
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: eight You weren't felt out that weird chair and oh
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: well to that baseball last time I laughed at that
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: was funny though. All right, so we're gonna move on.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Here's another crazy story. What is death Row Records, the
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Power Rangers, my Little Pony, g I, Joe, and mister
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: potato Head have in common? Anybody people started it is
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: in jail. I'm sorry that I don't know that. You
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: say a death Row and I went, you went straight
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: called the Power Rangers. They got nothing to come. All right,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: here you want to hear it again? Tell me, all right,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: what dude, death Row Records, the Power Rangers, my Little Pony,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: g I, Joe, and mister potato Head have in common?
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: All right, it's not what team said. All of them
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: is action figures. They got a sig Knight Action This
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: is Shuge Knight Action Figure. No, they're all owned by
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Hasbro guys. Yeah, I didn't know that either. That's why
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: they was acting so children's. Yeah. So Hasbro announced last
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: week that it had acquired Entertainment One, that is a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: parent company of death Row Records. So there you go. Wow,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Yeah it was a stretch. I know it was a stretch,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: but there you go. It took a long time to
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: get there. Do we even know who own death Row Records? Now?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Who's own the label? We don't even know who's drop
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: his first album? Pill head Backs new album release because
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: I'm hard like that. They're really stupid figures. This is
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: too much. Yeah, it's a lot new album. Oh water
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: coming up music our foolishness coming up on the Steve
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. About twenty minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the sty show. Forecasters are
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: keeping a close watch on the development of tropical storm
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: slash Hurricane Dorian in the Caribbean, So listen to this
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: guy's according to Axius Report. The Axius Report sources say
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: the President had a briefing on hurricanes and asked his advisors,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: why don't we knew them? He continued, But this is
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: our president we're talking about though. Okay, yeah, he continued.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: They start forming off the coast of Africa. As they're
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can't
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: we do that? Why can't we do that? Blow up
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: a stone man? You wouldn't believe? Why? Why is he pressed?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I know he doesn't
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: have to me for much longer if we vote. Let
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: me ask you something in this reelection, all the Trump supporters,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: just are you listening to what some of the things
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: are he saying? They don't care. He is like eighty four,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: I would have some concern. Oh, somebody talking about why
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: don't we just nuke it? Hurricane? Blow up a hurricane. Now,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: now you know, the president has denied ever ever saying
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: nuke hurricanes are blowing up hurricanes. He said it's fake news.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: He never he never said that. His advisors reportedly believe that, Yeah,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: they'd look into it. But now he's saying he never
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: said it. He's saying he's never lied. Yeah, or double
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: down on a lie. Even where do you get that? Yeah?
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: All right, Marv, the Steve Harvey Morning Show and some
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: more trending news coming up at thirty three after the hour,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show. Well, just like
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: that summer is about to be over, Just like that
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: summer is about to be over. Okay, but Steve, I
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: know by quickly did it. But Steve, please, let's tell
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: everybody how they can kick it with us. This fall
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: at the Steve Harvey Stand and Soul Festival in can Koum.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: May first, let me say this. I understood that. I
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: understood the delima at the dr calls nobody's fault. But
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: there's nothing we could do about it. But we didn't
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: waste no time trying to see that we could come
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: up with something better. And we did. And I'm telling you,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: if you got out, you got your refund or whatever
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you want it. We honored everybody else we said we would.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: But listen to this man, if you want to get
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: back in, you can, because I'm telling you we're about
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: to have a good time. Then we really are. We
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: went out there, My daughter went out there, Morgan, she
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: checked it out, she did all that, She sent us videos.

- 1:17:19Speaker 1: know my wife, but she don't really do nothing. That's
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: kind of halfy. She don't like that. I don't like that.

- 1:19:34Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour, you're listening to
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, here we are our
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good day. Huh.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: All right, Yeah, you got into that list that fifty
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: uh most popular R and B hardest lists from the
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: last fifty years got a little heated today. Huh. He
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: didn't say justin bieber Old yet did it? He did?
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: He put it? Nope, Nope, didn't didn't miss it. Sorry,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: never popped into my mind. Sorry Tim, but like personally
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: like him? But not what? No? Less? Did you think
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: about coling me bad? If they gonna make the list?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I want to sex you up. You don't know them
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: calling me bad ain't gonna make the list? Yeah, you
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: don't know? None can actually? All right, see it's a
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: coloring me. It's time Steve for your clothing. All right,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: let's go. I got something I want to shore with you.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Uh now, let's listen to me. When I share this
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: with you, you're gonna have to have an open mind
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: to receive it. Um. But it's tough when I try
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: to share information like this because I understand negative people.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Negative people always find a problem with your solution. It's
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: amazing you can have a real solution. You can find
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: a way to solve the problem. Do you know that
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: a negative person will find a problem with the solution.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: It's just people like that. So I'm saying that before
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I say this, because the old Woe is Me sentrome
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: is alive and well in some people. I wish it wasn't,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: but it is. But here I go anyway, So listen
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to this. Don't get discouraged when it goes bad for you. Now,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: listen to me carefully. Now I'm saying, don't get discouraged
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: when it's going bad for you. Now, it's not to
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: say that when bad things happen, you're not gonna feel
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: badly about it. It's not to say that you won't
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: have the natural human feelings when bad things happen to you,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: because you will. I'm talking about discouraged. I'm talking about
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: because something has happened to you, you're now contemplating giving up.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: You're discouraged to the point where you're thinking about it's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: I get well, I guess it's not gonna happen, or
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: you get discouraged to the point where you start thinking
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: about turning around. That's what I mean by discourage. I'm
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: not saying that you won't feel bad when bad things happens.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: That's human nature. But I'm talking about don't let it
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: discourage you. And the reason I say that is because
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you've gone through some bad times before. I just need
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: to remember, mind you of how strong you really are.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: So you've gone through some bad times before, and I
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: have to remind you of this. You've survived them all.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Every bad moment you've ever gone through, you have actually
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: survived them all, all of them. So the only thing
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: you have to remember is that you've gotten past things
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: in your past. Now, if you haven't gotten passed the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: things that's in your past, or you can't get past
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the things that's happened to you, it's simply because you
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: keep dwelling on it. See, the devil has an amazing
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: trick that he plays. Because I think I said this yesterday,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: The devil really don't care that you get a new card,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: new house, a job from motion or raise. The devil
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: don't care that you find love somewhere. He don't care
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: a matter of fact, he can almost be okay with
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: any of that. His only job is to rob you
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: of your destiny. And one of the great tools that
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: he uses to rob you of your destiny is to
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: make you hold on to your past. Man, he's so
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: slick with that. He gets in your head and he
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: doesn't even allow you to move past what you've gotten
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: over because he causes you to dwell on it, and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: you keep rehashing it and bringing it up and going
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: over and discussing it, and then he uses another trick.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: He makes you think because of something in your past,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: it's causing you not to have a bright future. So
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: now what you've done, this thing that God has clearly
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: gotten us all past whatever it is. If you're still standing,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you got past it. But his trick is to make
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: you think since you still remember it, it's still there.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: That doesn't have to be the case. You can let
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: it go. Your old people say, turn it over to God.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Have you ever tried that? Have you asked? Just your pass?
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Just try this, not something that's currently bothered in you,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: just the things of your past. Just turn it over
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: to God. Let it go, just release it to him.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: It will help you so much in your advancement towards
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: your future. Man, stop getting discouraged every time things go bad.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Things capping badly all the time, and you're going to
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: feel bad about it, but don't let it discourage you
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: to the point where you want to give up and
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: turn around. And if you haven't gotten pass your past,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: it's simply because you keep dwelling on it. If God
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: woke you up again today, it is a sign from
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: him that he wants you to move forward. If he
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: didn't want you to move forward, you wouldn't wake up today.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, take your pass and let God have
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: it so you can get to your future. Those are
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Y'all have a great weekend. I show am.
