Newly surfaced court records alleged that Playboy founder Hugh Hefner contacted the FBI in 2005 after then-Playboy Playmate Audra Christiansen told him that she had been sexually abused and trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein. According to the filing, Christiansen believed Hefner’s prominence would give the allegation greater credibility with federal authorities and asked him to make the report on her behalf.
