- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to show.
- 0:38Speaker 3: I don't joy joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You know you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Turn probably got to turn them out, turn out a
- 1:47Speaker 3: wad of the money.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Look, mave me.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now. One and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show. I was talking with my wife and she
- 2:13Speaker 6: said something her father always used to tell her, just
- 2:17Speaker 6: because you can do something don't mean you should do it.
- 2:20Speaker 6: I can't tell you how many times I've had to
- 2:22Speaker 6: learn that in my life. You know, just because you
- 2:25Speaker 6: can do something does not necessarily mean you should do it.
- 2:30Speaker 6: I could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean
- 2:34Speaker 6: I should do it. I could go here and set
- 2:37Speaker 6: the record straight a lot of times, but it don't
- 2:40Speaker 6: mean I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot
- 2:43Speaker 6: in that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship
- 2:49Speaker 6: with my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me
- 2:54Speaker 6: to learn even more how to stay still on a
- 2:57Speaker 6: lot of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the
- 3:00Speaker 6: hard way. I do want you to understand that that
- 3:03Speaker 6: sometimes it's better to be still. Sometimes it's better to
- 3:06Speaker 6: just let God handle the situation now. And I know
- 3:09Speaker 6: it's hard to say because we think as people, but
- 3:12Speaker 6: if I do this, I would feel better. If I
- 3:16Speaker 6: do this now, they'll feel how I feel.
- 3:19Speaker 2: See.
- 3:20Speaker 6: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:22Speaker 6: in my life. Sometimes you gotta like old people used
- 3:26Speaker 6: to say, you gotta let go and let God. I'm
- 3:29Speaker 6: gonna tell you something, man, I learned a lot from
- 3:30Speaker 6: my mother being a Sunday school teacher. But you know,
- 3:33Speaker 6: at the same time, when she was when I was young,
- 3:35Speaker 6: I thought she was just an old person just talking
- 3:37Speaker 6: to me.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I didn't get it.
- 3:38Speaker 6: You know how your parents used to talk to you
- 3:41Speaker 6: and you didn't get it, And they used to always say, well,
- 3:43Speaker 6: wait till you have your own kids, you will get
- 3:45Speaker 6: it then, And sure enough you got it then. Well
- 3:47Speaker 6: I'm the same way. I'm no different you know. I
- 3:49Speaker 6: don't have no different life than you.
- 3:51Speaker 5: You.
- 3:51Speaker 6: I don't have no different upbringing in you.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I don't have no different ways that I can live
- 3:55Speaker 2: and you can't.
- 3:56Speaker 6: You know, I got to live by the same laws
- 3:59Speaker 6: of the land that you got to live by. I
- 4:00Speaker 6: gotta obey the principles as success. If I want to
- 4:03Speaker 6: be successful, I gotta bam. And you know what, if
- 4:05Speaker 6: I want to go to heaven, I gotta do what
- 4:07Speaker 6: God tell me to do as many times as I can. Now,
- 4:10Speaker 6: you ain't gonna get it all right, But he understand that,
- 4:13Speaker 6: and I just get on with the best I can.
- 4:14Speaker 6: But so many times, man, we get stuck right there, man,
- 4:20Speaker 6: worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across, and
- 4:24Speaker 6: what I'm you know, you know, kind of going around
- 4:26Speaker 6: here because I'm trying to find a way to tell
- 4:28Speaker 6: you this that you won't get twisted. The bottom line,
- 4:31Speaker 6: you gotta let go and let God. You have to
- 4:35Speaker 6: allow him to do it his way.
- 4:37Speaker 2: See.
- 4:38Speaker 6: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,
- 4:41Speaker 6: I had to let God have it. I found out
- 4:43Speaker 6: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out
- 4:46Speaker 6: I wouldn't all that good of a explore with a map.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So I had to let go.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I had to let God. And you gotta understand that
- 4:54Speaker 6: God works in mysterious ways. How often had I thought
- 4:58Speaker 6: it was over for me. What God was doing was
- 5:01Speaker 6: he was teaching me a lesson. He was showing me
- 5:04Speaker 6: something that I needed to know. He was allowing me
- 5:07Speaker 6: to experience some things. But he didn't let me go under.
- 5:10Speaker 6: You know how they say, God and never put more
- 5:11Speaker 6: on you than you can bear. He won't let you
- 5:14Speaker 6: go under you know. It's like the scripture that Bishop
- 5:16Speaker 6: Alma taught me when I was going through that traumatic
- 5:19Speaker 6: thing on the internet. Man, it was really really man
- 5:21Speaker 6: trying to destroy what I had worked for and my
- 5:24Speaker 6: family and this new life that God had presented me.
- 5:27Speaker 6: And the devil is busy. The devil don't like to
- 5:29Speaker 6: see you happy. So here he comes. He puts you
- 5:31Speaker 6: under attack, and he comes in and that and everything,
- 5:34Speaker 6: and my kids are suffering, but you know, here comes God.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Though see, God don't put more on you than you
- 5:40Speaker 6: can bear. Bishop Olma sent me a scripture. He sent
- 5:43Speaker 6: me Isaiah forty three one and two. And in that
- 5:46Speaker 6: scripture it says to the effect that you can walk
- 5:50Speaker 6: through the water the rivers, and the water won't overcome you.
- 5:55Speaker 6: But then it said you can walk through the fire
- 5:57Speaker 6: and you will not get burned, Nor will kindling set
- 6:02Speaker 6: upon your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See,
- 6:06Speaker 6: God sent me through something, but he was showing me
- 6:09Speaker 6: something too.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Now he didn't do it.
- 6:11Speaker 6: God didn't bring that calamity into my life because in
- 6:15Speaker 6: Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says clearly that if anyone
- 6:19Speaker 6: comes against you, it will not be my doing. Now,
- 6:22Speaker 6: this is what he promised you when people come for you, though, see,
- 6:25Speaker 6: and this is what I learned. That's why I have
- 6:27Speaker 6: no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
- 6:30Speaker 6: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
- 6:33Speaker 6: in order for me to learn that. You can't have
- 6:36Speaker 6: a testimony without a test you know what I'm saying.
- 6:39Speaker 6: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
- 6:41Speaker 6: did was he allowed that internet thing come across crossed
- 6:44Speaker 6: into my life. But he taught me something. And Isaiah
- 6:47Speaker 6: forty three to one and two was and you could
- 6:49Speaker 6: walk through the fire and not get burned, nor what
- 6:52Speaker 6: kindling set upon your clothing. So what that said to
- 6:54Speaker 6: me was, even though you trying to do me, and
- 6:58Speaker 6: it's fire all around me, I burn, But when it's over,
- 7:02Speaker 6: kindling won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:05Speaker 6: was not only would I walk through the fire and
- 7:08Speaker 6: not get burned, but there will be no signs that
- 7:11Speaker 6: I was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.
- 7:14Speaker 6: But not hold up though now here go to park, though,
- 7:17Speaker 6: that I had to learn. Even though you can walk
- 7:20Speaker 6: through the fire, y'all, and even though you're being flames
- 7:23Speaker 6: and scorching all around you, if you trust him, he
- 7:25Speaker 6: ain't gonna let you burn.
- 7:26Speaker 2: But now hear what he did not say.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Though he did not say that it was not going
- 7:31Speaker 6: to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there.
- 7:36Speaker 1: He ain't say that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He just said you.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Won't burn, and when it's over, it won't be no
- 7:41Speaker 6: signs that you was in the fire. See what happened
- 7:44Speaker 6: to me was after they tried to destroy me, let
- 7:46Speaker 6: me show you what God did for me. Not only
- 7:48Speaker 6: did they not accomplish what they set out to do,
- 7:51Speaker 6: but when they was through with me, though, when they
- 7:53Speaker 6: was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire, and
- 7:56Speaker 6: throwing the hate and writing it and lining and he
- 8:00Speaker 6: hating all these names for themselves so it could look
- 8:03Speaker 6: like most people is hating. When they got through it
- 8:05Speaker 6: all that man. Look what he did to me, Look
- 8:08Speaker 6: what he did fum me because he taught me something
- 8:11Speaker 6: that day, and I'm sharing it with you because God
- 8:14Speaker 6: will do the same thing for you. But you gotta
- 8:16Speaker 6: trust him though. You got to get in there, and
- 8:18Speaker 6: you got to let him do it. You gotta let
- 8:20Speaker 6: him handle it. So, just like Pop Bridge just taught
- 8:23Speaker 6: my wife Marjorie, just because you can do something, don't
- 8:26Speaker 6: mean y'all to do something. Yeah, you could go down
- 8:28Speaker 6: there and straighten them out, but should you though? Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 6: you can go down there and tell them all. Yeah,
- 8:32Speaker 6: you can go down stand up and make sure they
- 8:34Speaker 6: know it's your voice, that they hear it, and you
- 8:36Speaker 6: can get in their face and make a scene.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:42Speaker 2: let God?
- 8:44Speaker 6: So before we run all out in the streets and
- 8:46Speaker 6: somebody go out there and do something crazy, let's hold tight.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Now.
- 8:49Speaker 6: I'm not saying don't go out there, but you gotta
- 8:51Speaker 6: watch who you go out there with. But you can
- 8:53Speaker 6: go down there with peace in your heart. Somebody decided
- 8:56Speaker 6: I'm gonna throw a brick through here and bust a window.
- 8:58Speaker 6: Hold up, partner, hold up there down here doing so.
- 9:01Speaker 6: See sometimes man you gotta let go, and you gotta
- 9:03Speaker 6: let God. You gotta let God have situations sometimes and
- 9:06Speaker 6: you get in there and do the things that He
- 9:08Speaker 6: tell you to do. See bish Bowman and taught me
- 9:11Speaker 6: a lot. He had another book out and he said, uh,
- 9:13Speaker 6: you know, knowing God's Voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 6: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:18Speaker 6: definition of how do you know it's God's voice talking
- 9:21Speaker 6: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 6: has no sining in it. Whenever you're talking about i'ma go,
- 9:29Speaker 6: I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back. If
- 9:32Speaker 6: it's sining in it, God ain't in it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: See that's you.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Now.
- 9:36Speaker 6: God's voice has no sining in it. So when you
- 9:39Speaker 6: say God told me, be careful because God ain't never
- 9:44Speaker 6: told you to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what
- 9:47Speaker 6: he told you. And I learned that too. It's a lot.
- 9:50Speaker 6: So I'm just sharing today. I hope it helps somebody
- 9:53Speaker 6: today get through a difficult time because the show has
- 9:56Speaker 6: helped me.
- 9:56Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, Here we are again for those of you,
- 10:08Speaker 6: are here for those of you that are here, for
- 10:11Speaker 6: those of you that are enjoying the moment we are here,
- 10:15Speaker 6: another gift from the Almighty?
- 10:18Speaker 2: What more can I say?
- 10:19Speaker 9: You know what?
- 10:20Speaker 6: I just don't have the words to really express it.
- 10:22Speaker 6: I really don't that just amazing doesn't cover it. Ostentatious
- 10:28Speaker 6: doesn't cover it. Splendid. I just it falls short of
- 10:35Speaker 6: how really Oh.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He just that, he just that.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Man ain't no words for how good he is. I'm
- 10:43Speaker 6: so happy to be a recipient of his blessings, his
- 10:46Speaker 6: favor and his grace.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I don't know what to do. Have a good day
- 10:49Speaker 2: to day, y'all.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Live your life and explact, live your life in expectations.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I had a full night's sleep, but I'm still tired.
- 10:59Speaker 6: But you know what, I'm hill, So whatever, Steve Varre
- 11:03Speaker 6: Mortis Show, Shirley Strawberry call it for real, Mississippi Monica, Junior,
- 11:09Speaker 6: and Nephew Tommy.
- 11:10Speaker 2: What it's stilled on me? Dog?
- 11:13Speaker 4: What's wrong Tommy?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Good morning, Junior? What's on your mind?
- 11:19Speaker 5: Man?
- 11:20Speaker 10: Talk us about this up? You know what's the benefits
- 11:23Speaker 10: of thinking God when it's not going right? Because have
- 11:25Speaker 10: you mastered that up? Have you gotten great at that thing?
- 11:28Speaker 10: When it's not going right.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I've gotten better at it.
- 11:31Speaker 6: I've gotten better at haven't mastered it, but I've gotten
- 11:34Speaker 6: better at better at it because I think it was
- 11:38Speaker 6: Isaac Karee had a song called in the middle of It.
- 11:41Speaker 2: In the middle.
- 11:43Speaker 6: In the middle, You've got to be grateful in the
- 11:46Speaker 6: middle because guess what he's going to do. He's going
- 11:49Speaker 6: to pull you through whatever you're going through, just like
- 11:52Speaker 6: he always has. So if you can find the courage,
- 11:58Speaker 6: the wherewithal the capacity to thank him in the middle
- 12:02Speaker 6: of it, that shows you it's an act of faith
- 12:06Speaker 6: that I know God got me, and I'm not really concerned.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So I'm not sure that I've mastered it, but I'm way, way,
- 12:12Speaker 2: way better at it.
- 12:14Speaker 6: Because I thank Him all the time because I found
- 12:17Speaker 6: out something about myself and my life.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I'm always in some.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Huh, I'm always in some I wish it was smooth sailing,
- 12:28Speaker 6: but that's not how it works.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:31Speaker 6: It's this this thing called life, and it's no more
- 12:33Speaker 6: tougher than me, tougher on me than it is anybody else.
- 12:37Speaker 6: We all have something we have to deal with, and
- 12:40Speaker 6: life presents a constant ebb and flow of these things.
- 12:45Speaker 6: I mean, you always gonna get hit with something. It's
- 12:48Speaker 6: just I've gotten better at dealing with it, so I'm
- 12:50Speaker 6: able to look like I'm not in the storm even
- 12:52Speaker 6: when I'm in the middle of one. Come on, I
- 12:56Speaker 6: have the ability to look that way. I've come out
- 12:59Speaker 6: on scathed many times. I'm saying Isaiah forty three one
- 13:02Speaker 6: and two, I can walk through the fires and not
- 13:04Speaker 6: be burned, no kindling set upon my clothes. That means
- 13:08Speaker 6: I can walk through the fire, I won't get burned,
- 13:10Speaker 6: and it won't be no kinling on my clothes and
- 13:13Speaker 6: clothes when I come out on the other side, you
- 13:14Speaker 6: won't even know I was burning. Now, what God didn't
- 13:20Speaker 6: say was he didn't say you wasn't gonna be hot hot, Yeah, yeah,
- 13:36Speaker 6: all right, like Nellie.
- 13:38Speaker 11: Thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after,
- 13:40Speaker 11: we'll hear from the nephew as he runs that brank back.

- 14:27Speaker 13: Well, Charlie, we got a situation. We got a lady
- 14:29Speaker 13: in the back of the limo. I'm gonna get a
- 14:31Speaker 13: husband a call because your wife is in the limo.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know it. I know it, right, I
- 14:41Speaker 2: know it. That's not my bis. But you know, when
- 14:42Speaker 2: you're a prankster, this is what you do. Your wife.

- 26:09Speaker 11: When we go on work trips, we share a room.
- 26:12Speaker 11: We play around sexually, but we've never gone all the way.
- 26:16Speaker 11: I am thinking that she wants me like I want her.
- 26:20Speaker 11: Should I make the first move?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Now you're not already made the move? Y'all share the room.
- 26:27Speaker 11: These are two women? These are two women, Steve, Oh,
- 26:33Speaker 11: Kyla wrote it? Kyla from Newark. She's in a friends
- 26:36Speaker 11: with benefits relationship. They share a room when they go
- 26:39Speaker 11: on work trips. They play around sexually, but they've never
- 26:42Speaker 11: gone all the way. Kyla says she's thinking that the
- 26:46Speaker 11: woman wants her as much as she wants her, So
- 26:49Speaker 11: should she make the first move?
- 26:51Speaker 8: That's what she's asking.
- 26:58Speaker 12: Not understanding a segment, Remember, I have some questions, Okay, okay.

- 27:15Speaker 2: What is there in that doing.
- 27:19Speaker 11: That?
- 27:19Speaker 2: Because I need to know that question. What are they doing?
- 27:26Speaker 2: Are they just kissing?
- 27:29Speaker 8: Well, they pooled around sexually.
- 27:31Speaker 2: So yeah, that's if you fooled around sexually, but you
- 27:35Speaker 2: haven't gone all the way. Well what what what are
- 27:38Speaker 2: we doing with you?
- 27:42Speaker 1: What about the issue that they're co workers though?
- 27:45Speaker 8: I mean, you know the co workers, but that doesn't
- 27:48Speaker 8: seem to matter.
- 27:49Speaker 6: They didn't overlook that issue they shared rooms or work exactly.
- 27:53Speaker 12: Yeah, But what I'm saying is if they move forward
- 27:56Speaker 12: with this relationship and it goes bad, they still have
- 27:59Speaker 12: to work together, you know, that's part of it.
- 28:01Speaker 1: That's part of it.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's right now, it's going good. We can't
- 28:08Speaker 2: wait on the next work trip.
- 28:10Speaker 11: But what are the benefits if they haven't gone all
- 28:12Speaker 11: the way? They're in the friends with benefits relationship.
- 28:15Speaker 6: See, I don't I don't understand that because I don't
- 28:18Speaker 6: know what she's asking me. We fooled around sexually, but
- 28:21Speaker 6: we haven't gone all the way.
- 28:22Speaker 8: Maybe there's been some touching or you like you say, kissing,
- 28:26Speaker 8: but you.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Know, well, if we're doing that, how they getting into bed?
- 28:33Speaker 2: They share a room? Should anybody n somebody gotta take a.

- 28:44Speaker 11: only so much we could say.
- 28:45Speaker 15: So what.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Well, if there's only so much you can say, where
- 28:51Speaker 2: do I come in at?
- 28:54Speaker 8: Because she just wants to know.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Should she make the first Yes, go ahead and do it.
- 29:01Speaker 8: And you're telling her that.
- 29:02Speaker 6: Why because she won't you, Like if she didn't want you,
- 29:07Speaker 6: she wouldn't be fooling around with you.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Okay, you're you're thinking like a man, That's what I mean.
- 29:12Speaker 2: And that's all I could do. Act like a lady,
- 29:14Speaker 2: Think like a man.
- 29:15Speaker 8: I wrote the book.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Now what you asked me for? Going to do it?
- 29:20Speaker 6: Because I was said, Yes, she won't you, and she's
- 29:23Speaker 6: not gonna rebuff you or rebuke you, whatever you want
- 29:26Speaker 6: to call it. Make you move, get it in act,
- 29:29Speaker 6: let's connect you. Okay, reject you wi in hell?
- 29:32Speaker 11: Okay, she's not going to do that either. Yeah all right,
- 29:37Speaker 11: all right, so that's your advice. Go ahead and make
- 29:39Speaker 11: the first move.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Right, I don't know what we're talking about.
- 29:46Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, last one, Steve. This is from Derek
- 29:49Speaker 8: and Beaumont.
- 29:50Speaker 11: He says, I love to cook, so when I smoked
- 29:52Speaker 11: meat on the weekends, I invite people over. I invited
- 29:55Speaker 11: in a new neighbor over and my wife was nice
- 29:57Speaker 11: to her. But she was very mad when the lady left.
- 30:00Speaker 11: The woman is not attractive, So why was my wife tripping?
- 30:03Speaker 6: Come on, what because you invited her oval and you
- 30:10Speaker 6: invited a woman over to your house and didn't tell
- 30:12Speaker 6: you wife m brouh.
- 30:14Speaker 2: That's simple. Her wife.
- 30:16Speaker 8: His wife was nice the lady, yeah.
- 30:19Speaker 2: But after she left, how did she get over here?
- 30:24Speaker 2: All right?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Thank you Colo.
- 30:25Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:27Speaker 11: some entertainment news for you right after this.

- 30:47Speaker 11: the thirty two stadium concerts and nine cities. She's going
- 30:51Speaker 11: to Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Vegas, London, New York City, Paris,
- 30:55Speaker 11: and Washington, DC. According to various sources, Beyonce was hoping
- 31:00Speaker 11: to generate last minute hype on Instagram by sharing a
- 31:03Speaker 11: teaser before the Cowboy Carter Tour started. The video showed
- 31:08Speaker 11: off huge stage set up at Sofi Stadium with the
- 31:11Speaker 11: caption she comment, okay, she comment. The video was allegedly
- 31:17Speaker 11: made to help Cowboy Carter tours struggling ticket sales. Prices
- 31:21Speaker 11: for the concert tickets have plunged as low as seventy
- 31:25Speaker 11: five percent of the normal price.
- 31:27Speaker 8: So here's a question for you. See what do you
- 31:29Speaker 8: think that? Why do you think the tickets aren't selling.
- 31:32Speaker 1: This go round?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Well, it's the economy.
- 31:34Speaker 8: Egg Yeah, happen definitely.
- 31:37Speaker 2: People don't have no money. Yeah, hit the option, you got,
- 31:40Speaker 2: you got eggs. You can go down here and watch Beyonce.
- 31:43Speaker 8: How choose Beyonce?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Now, breakfast is coming every morning. We got any need. Now,

- 32:03Speaker 2: that's all just the uncertainty.

- 32:55Speaker 11: requested that a doctor testify that go ahead, go ahead, Well,
- 33:02Speaker 11: his team requested that a doctor testify that did he

- 33:09Speaker 11: guilt because of the effects of drugs and alcohol on
- 33:13Speaker 11: his memory and cognitive functions. Basically, Diddy's legal team is
- 33:18Speaker 11: questioning whether or not did He was coherent at the
- 33:20Speaker 11: time of the alleged freakofs or if he was too
- 33:23Speaker 11: high or drunk to make yah sound decisions. According to
- 33:27Speaker 11: the legal documents, the prosecutors on the case feel that
- 33:29Speaker 11: the doctor's opinion is relevant.
- 33:33Speaker 8: Is irrelevant.
- 33:34Speaker 6: Let me tell you what's not gonna happen in this case. Okay,
- 33:37Speaker 6: what black dudes cannot go in the court and say
- 33:42Speaker 6: I was just stupid.
- 33:47Speaker 8: Another double standard.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I ain't know nothing. I'm not capable mentally of
- 33:53Speaker 6: making these decisions. This ain't insanity. No black person ever

- 34:01Speaker 2: Plead through in court. Wow, but I but I'm stupid though. Yeah?
- 34:06Speaker 8: Drunk or high? Yeah? Hey, man, too drunk, too high
- 34:10Speaker 8: to make sound decision. What you say, junior?
- 34:14Speaker 2: Did you just say? Man, y'all go ahead and lock
- 34:15Speaker 2: me up.
- 34:15Speaker 16: This ain't gonna fly.
- 34:18Speaker 1: If this is our defense, this is our defense.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's an interesting defense. I've had so many things.
- 34:25Speaker 6: You'll be glad when money gets here because he's gonna
- 34:27Speaker 6: get a lot of time out their sale.
- 34:29Speaker 11: Well, finally, guys, moving on to Oak Park, Illinois, just
- 34:33Speaker 11: right outside of Chicago.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Brive there.
- 34:36Speaker 8: Uh huh Oak Park? Yeah uh.
- 34:40Speaker 11: A Brinx armored truck dropped three bags three bags filled
- 34:44Speaker 11: with cash into the busy street as it drove by.
- 34:48Speaker 11: According to surveillance cameras in the area, the Brinx trucks
- 34:51Speaker 11: back door swung open and three bags toppled out onto
- 34:55Speaker 11: the street as crowds of people dove into the street
- 34:58Speaker 11: to get the money, which is said to be at
- 35:01Speaker 11: least three hundred thousand dollars. Brings has not released a
- 35:04Speaker 11: statement on how or why the back door lock now functioned. Meanwhile,
- 35:08Speaker 11: Oak Park Police have said there is an ongoing investigation
- 35:12Speaker 11: and they're asking for anyone that has any information or
- 35:16Speaker 11: anyone who picked up the cash to come forward.
- 35:19Speaker 2: What anybody who cash to come forward? Yeah? You mean
- 35:25Speaker 2: you're expecting me to snitch on myself?
- 35:31Speaker 13: How much you think you can pick up that fast?
- 35:34Speaker 13: I'd have got that whole bag.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Just grab a bag and its entire bag.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I got a bag. I don't care who was out there.
- 35:42Speaker 1: You literally got the bag because.
- 35:44Speaker 6: I'm out there with the bag between my legs and
- 35:47Speaker 6: I'm just spinning and swinging.
- 35:51Speaker 8: Crowds of people dove into the money into the street.
- 35:54Speaker 13: To grasp a lot of paper flying. That's paper.
- 35:57Speaker 8: Yeah, so the lock malfunctioned on a Brinks truck.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Mm hmm, Sully, that's so unimportant.
- 36:09Speaker 8: People are gonna want to know how the money got out, Steve.
- 36:12Speaker 1: The Lord Senate. It was a blessing, that's it, Junor.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Make the way out of no way it come on,
- 36:27Speaker 2: look at God, look at God.
- 36:31Speaker 13: Oh I didn't moved out of Illinois, and I don't
- 36:36Speaker 13: see how I could possibly why would.
- 36:39Speaker 6: I pay taxes on cash? This ain't going to nobody.
- 36:42Speaker 6: They're not gonna be checking seal numbers on me. Okay,
- 36:46Speaker 6: I'm at a Walmart in Mississippi, just shopping, losing your mind.
- 36:53Speaker 8: But they want you to come forward and be honest.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I've never been honest to the police.
- 36:59Speaker 11: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, We're gonna
- 37:01Speaker 11: leave it right there. Unfortunately, the White House Press Secretary
- 37:05Speaker 11: believe Shador Sanders was drafted only because of Donald Trump's
- 37:09Speaker 11: outrage at the NFL taking credit.
- 37:13Speaker 7: Yeah, we'll get back into it right after this. You're
- 37:19Speaker 7: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, folks.
- 37:27Speaker 2: There are a lot of reasons to like Hyundai.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Hyundai's done a lot to support American consulers. I mean,
- 37:34Speaker 6: they announced their investment of twenty one billion dollars in
- 37:38Speaker 6: the United States over the next three years that will
- 37:40Speaker 6: expand manufacturing and create more jobs for Americans.
- 37:44Speaker 13: And they just announced that they will not be raising
- 37:47Speaker 13: MSRP through June second, no matter what. Call five six
- 37:51Speaker 13: two three one four four six zero three for more details.
- 37:55Speaker 11: In an interview on Monday, White House Press Secretary Carolyn
- 37:59Speaker 11: Levitt said that she believed Shador Sanders got drafted. Finally,
- 38:04Speaker 11: after Donald Trump expressed outrage as the NFL owners in
- 38:08Speaker 11: a post on his truth social platform, Trump posted quote,
- 38:12Speaker 11: what is wrong with NFL owners?
- 38:13Speaker 8: Are they stupid?
- 38:15Speaker 11: Dion Sanders was a great college football player and was
- 38:17Speaker 11: even greater in the NFL. He is also a very
- 38:20Speaker 11: good coach, street wise and smart. Therefore, Shadour, his quarterback son,
- 38:26Speaker 11: has phenomenal genes and is all set for greatness. He
- 38:30Speaker 11: should be picked immediately by a team that wants to win.
- 38:34Speaker 11: Good luck, Shadoor, and say hello to your young, wonderful father,
- 38:39Speaker 11: Levitt said, with a smile. All I will say is
- 38:42Speaker 11: the President's put put out a statement, and a few
- 38:44Speaker 11: rounds later he was drafted.
- 38:46Speaker 8: So I think the facts speak for themselves on that one.
- 38:51Speaker 12: Was t.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Let's give him that now, can we get the age now?
- 39:02Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 39:03Speaker 1: Okay, pressure with Okay, he.
- 39:07Speaker 8: Did chime in the president of the United States.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Well he did it.
- 39:16Speaker 8: Yeah, So any truth to that seed what you're feeling?
- 39:21Speaker 6: I mean, look, I mean this guy he wants credit
- 39:24Speaker 6: for everything, so everything he did, tweak something out. But
- 39:29Speaker 6: it also speaks to the point that a lot of
- 39:31Speaker 6: people have been saying. Even he recognized something shaky was
- 39:35Speaker 6: going on here and he called it. Yeah, now this
- 39:40Speaker 6: should get drafted because of that nose, because the owners,
- 39:44Speaker 6: in their collusion, got it down to round after round
- 39:47Speaker 6: four where they could make his money as low as
- 39:50Speaker 6: he could go. And what the Browns did was they
- 39:53Speaker 6: couldn't draft him without the owner's permission because the owners
- 39:57Speaker 6: got together and did this, because the coaches in GM's
- 40:00Speaker 6: were sitting there going, wait a minute, we're gonna take
- 40:02Speaker 6: who instead of who? But we need a quarterback, so
- 40:06Speaker 6: we're drafted, and so now it's up. This kid's gonna
- 40:09Speaker 6: make a great player. He's gonna make a great play.
- 40:12Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, legend, they.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Will eat all these words.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Yeah, just go ball. You're doing what you do.
- 40:18Speaker 8: And what team was that he was drafted to?
- 40:22Speaker 2: See?
- 40:22Speaker 11: What team was that?
- 40:25Speaker 2: The Fire Quarterbacks? Cleveland?
- 40:29Speaker 12: What team was that?
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, well you're.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Talking about wait a minue, hold on, hold up? Was
- 40:33Speaker 6: that the do with the Red Sutars? He don't want
- 40:36Speaker 6: talking from the rockets. That's down three to one together.
- 40:42Speaker 6: We're talking about football right now, is what we're talking about.
- 40:45Speaker 12: Yeah, get us some Cleveland Brown we want some Cleveland
- 40:48Speaker 12: Brown paraphernalia.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I don't want no Cleveland Brown I.
- 40:53Speaker 5: Do.
- 40:53Speaker 6: I want to support the door so we can see that.
- 40:55Speaker 6: Tell me you don't know how to be The hay
- 41:00Speaker 6: is sipping.
- 41:02Speaker 8: From coming up.
- 41:06Speaker 11: At thirty four minutes after the hour, we're gonna play
- 41:09Speaker 11: a game with the comedians on the show right after this.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You already know what timing by DC on flag. You're
- 41:15Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 41:44Speaker 11: on the roster? We have Team Steve, Team Tommy, and
- 41:47Speaker 11: of course Team Junior. Who are your top fives? Let's go, comedian.

- 52:52Speaker 18: I don't So you're trying to put that off the market. Now,
- 52:54Speaker 18: why would you tell us not to eat chicken? Then
- 52:57Speaker 18: we eat other stuff too? What you are definding from?
- 53:01Speaker 9: Because this doesn't make any sense.
- 53:03Speaker 5: The test study, man, was over chicken, and it just
- 53:05Speaker 5: seems like that test study.
- 53:07Speaker 18: Who did this test study?
- 53:09Speaker 5: Well we did, man, we're VP E T M C.
- 53:11Speaker 5: And what after doing the test study, we did realize
- 53:14Speaker 5: that the black people are the ones.
- 53:16Speaker 18: That we could test only just do to do black people,
- 53:19Speaker 18: I'm gonna just use white people. But white people ain't
- 53:22Speaker 18: chicken too. And she goes out of diets and stuff.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Okay, man, that Asian?
- 53:27Speaker 18: What about the Hispanics?
- 53:29Speaker 6: Did you use them?
- 53:30Speaker 5: Okay, ma'am listen. What the bottom line is Our first
- 53:33Speaker 5: study is black people, and what we're trying to do
- 53:35Speaker 5: is get you guys to cut back on eating.
- 53:37Speaker 18: Yes, study should be everybody.
- 53:39Speaker 6: This is something where did you.
- 53:40Speaker 5: Get my number from man, we got to we got
- 53:42Speaker 5: numbers from the supermarkets.
- 53:43Speaker 18: That people that my number from those supermarkets. I ain't
- 53:46Speaker 18: give my number to no supermarket. This is don't make
- 53:49Speaker 18: any sense. You calling me, interrupted me about.
- 53:52Speaker 9: Some like this.
- 53:53Speaker 5: This is this bottom line.
- 53:55Speaker 13: Man.
- 53:55Speaker 14: You you don't tell on me.
- 53:57Speaker 18: You mean telling me?
- 53:59Speaker 14: What the hell?
- 53:59Speaker 18: I can you know mine? You got night one of them.
- 54:03Speaker 18: Twist this up, yes, you do twist it. Calling somebody
- 54:07Speaker 18: telling him that black people eat too much chicken?
- 54:10Speaker 5: You and your partian, would you like to hear what
- 54:12Speaker 5: the survey is actually saying?
- 54:14Speaker 18: Now, I don't want to hear what the survey is
- 54:15Speaker 18: actually saying because what you're saying about a whole bunch
- 54:18Speaker 18: of But.
- 54:19Speaker 5: The survey is saying that. This is nephew Tommy from
- 54:22Speaker 5: the Steve Harby Morning Show, Valerie, this is nephew Tommy
- 54:28Speaker 5: baby from the Steve Walker.
- 54:29Speaker 18: Oh my god, oh.
- 54:38Speaker 9: I love him some chicken.
- 54:42Speaker 13: Come on now, come on here, y'all. What Let me
- 54:50Speaker 13: tell you something. Let me tell you something. Black people
- 54:51Speaker 13: quiting and chicken for thirdy days will shut this country down.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Do you hear me? We will shut this country down.
- 54:58Speaker 13: Target, don't touch your chicken all the egg and watch
- 55:03Speaker 13: and watch what happened.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Egg prices will come down.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Oh is that it?
- 55:11Speaker 6: Because you have plenty eggs, but the one that's closest
- 55:19Speaker 6: to my ranch is still a long way away.
- 55:21Speaker 8: I can't.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Let me this way. Let me say right after bass pro.
- 55:29Speaker 11: Bucket by coming up next, it is my Strawberry letter

- 56:42Speaker 13: Buckle up and hold on type. We got it for you,
- 56:44Speaker 13: And here it is strawberry letter.
- 56:46Speaker 8: All right, nephew, thank you.
- 56:48Speaker 11: Subject. He treats me like a side chick. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 56:53Speaker 11: I've been in a relationship with a man for two
- 56:55Speaker 11: years and he treats me like a side chick. I
- 56:58Speaker 11: can spend the night at his house, but I can't
- 57:00Speaker 11: leave anything at his house. Meanwhile, he has toiletries at
- 57:04Speaker 11: my house, and he just left his steeler's blanket folded
- 57:07Speaker 11: up neatly on my couch and asked me not to
- 57:10Speaker 11: move it. He's a dog lover, but he won't allow
- 57:13Speaker 11: my dog to set foot in his house. And he
- 57:15Speaker 11: only weighs five pounds. I can see if it was
- 57:18Speaker 11: a rotweiler, but it's a tiny toy poodle. On Sunday,
- 57:23Speaker 11: his mom and dad called and said they were stopping
- 57:26Speaker 11: by because they were in the area. He said I
- 57:28Speaker 11: should go before they got there. I get that it
- 57:32Speaker 11: wouldn't be good to meet them for the first time
- 57:34Speaker 11: like that. But he couldn't have He could have been
- 57:37Speaker 11: nicer about it, or he could have said I could
- 57:40Speaker 11: meet them another time. He won't come to any of
- 57:44Speaker 11: my work events, and.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I have a lot of them.
- 57:46Speaker 11: He said, we need to decide where our relationship is
- 57:49Speaker 11: going before he makes those kinds of moves.
- 57:51Speaker 8: I don't understand what that means.
- 57:53Speaker 11: He's thirty six and I'm thirty two, and for the
- 57:56Speaker 11: past two years we've been having most of our meals together,
- 57:59Speaker 11: sleeping together, working out together, and even hanging out with
- 58:02Speaker 11: my two sisters. I won't let him meet my parents
- 58:05Speaker 11: until I meet his because I don't know how to
- 58:08Speaker 11: introduce him. If I say he's my boyfriend, he might
- 58:11Speaker 11: correct me in front of my daddy, and that would
- 58:14Speaker 11: be embarrassing at our big ages. He should be ready
- 58:17Speaker 11: to settle down. When I look back at how our
- 58:20Speaker 11: relationship began, I didn't ask the right questions. He never
- 58:24Speaker 11: told me that he was ready to settle down. We
- 58:26Speaker 11: just started hanging out a lot and having great sex.
- 58:29Speaker 11: Have I let this go on for too long to
- 58:31Speaker 11: start questioning him? My answer to you is no, of course,
- 58:36Speaker 11: it's never too late to get what you want, and
- 58:38Speaker 11: you can ask him whatever questions you need to ask.
- 58:41Speaker 11: No longer how long it's been, you're still sleeping with
- 58:44Speaker 11: this guy, You're still you know, doing all the things
- 58:47Speaker 11: that you've been doing. There's no time limit to this.
- 58:50Speaker 11: But honestly, though, I don't think anything that you do
- 58:54Speaker 11: at this point is going to matter. I mean, you
- 58:56Speaker 11: should have had these questions long, long time ago to
- 58:59Speaker 11: ask him. One of the main problems in this situationship,
- 59:03Speaker 11: as you call it, is there's no communication, no clarity.
- 59:07Speaker 8: This should have been established in the first year.
- 59:10Speaker 11: So for you to say he's treating you like a
- 59:12Speaker 11: side chick, it begs the question why why is he
- 59:14Speaker 11: treating you like a side chick? Why are you taking
- 59:17Speaker 11: this from this man? You can't be a side chick
- 59:20Speaker 11: if you don't act like a sidechick. For two years,
- 59:24Speaker 11: you said, you've sat back and you just let this
- 59:26Speaker 11: man do you this way. Not meeting his parents, you
- 59:30Speaker 11: can't leave you anything over his house. He won't go
- 59:33Speaker 11: to job functions with you. You can't bring your little
- 59:35Speaker 11: five pound dog over there. What more do you need
- 59:38Speaker 11: to realize that he's not feeling.
- 59:40Speaker 2: You like that?
- 59:41Speaker 1: After two years?
- 59:42Speaker 11: I mean, what are you waiting for. Come on, you've
- 59:45Speaker 11: already given him two years of your life. In his mind,
- 59:47Speaker 11: you are just a side chick, and he makes sure
- 59:50Speaker 11: you know it. I don't think you should continue to
- 59:52Speaker 11: allow him to disrespect you or whatever. Trust me, he
- 59:56Speaker 11: knows exactly what he's doing. You're the one that's in
- 59:59Speaker 11: the dark. If you're not a number number two, then
- 1:00:01Speaker 11: let him know that. Let him know it today, Steve,
- 1:00:07Speaker 11: he treats me like.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: A side chick. No, no, that's not how he's treating you.
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: You're allowing him to treat you like a side chick.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: That's all this letter is. You've allowed behavior to continue
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: and to go on without any checks and balances.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: So this is what we do.
- 1:00:32Speaker 6: If you allow us to run over you, you're finna
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: have time marks all over your back because that's what
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: you want, that's what you accept. Ladies, come on here,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: when are women going to understand that you have a
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: say so in your own life. You have the right
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: to know where our relationship is going and what it
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: is at all times, even from the very beginning. Now
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: I've been in a relationship with a man for two years.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: He treats me like a side chick, let's just stop this.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: You're allowing him. I can spend the night at his house,
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: but I can't leave anything at his house because he
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: got people coming over there and it can't be no
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: traces to you in now. Meanwhile, he has tarlet trees
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: at my house and he just left his steeler blanket,
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: fold it up, neating me on my couch and ask
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: me not to move it. That's because you don't have
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: nobody else coming over there, and he can leave tarlet
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: trees and the blanket or whatever.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: He won't, but you can't do the same thing.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: How did you even allow this to happen? How he's
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: a dog lover, but he won't allow my dog to
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: set foot in his house. Well, he don't love yo dog.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: He a dog level, but not yo dog. I could
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: see if it were rot while, but it's a tiny
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: toy poodle. On Sunday, his mom and dad called and
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: said they were stopping by because they were in the error.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: He said I should go before they got there. I
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: get that it wouldn't be good to meet them for
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: the first time like that, but he could have been
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: nicer about it, or he could have said I could
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: meet them another time. No, you got to get out.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: My mom and daddy coming. You got to get out.
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: I don't want them to meet you. Ladies, if you've
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: been dating a man for two years and you ain't
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: met his mom and Danny, boy, that you're not it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: You're not If you've been with a man for two
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: years in what you think is a committed relationship and
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: you haven't met his parents, but in two years, it's
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: because you're not it. He won't come to any of
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: my work events, and I have a lot of them.
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: He now, listen to this line. He said, we need
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: to decide where our relationship is going before we make
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: those kinds of moves.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: You ain't made up your mind in two years? Did
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: it ain't going nowhere?
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:03:02Speaker 11: Hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:05Speaker 11: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: Strawberry letter subject he treats me like a side chick.
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening

- 1:03:48Speaker 11: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 11: The subject is he treats me like a side chick.
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: You know what, child, this is really a sad letter
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: from this thirty two year old woman who's claiming that
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: him is treating her like a side chick. I just
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: want to tell you this that that's what the treatment
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: you've allowed, even from day one. I mean, you can't
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: leave nothing at his house, but in the meantime he
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: got taller trees and a football stealer's blanket over your house,
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: folded up on the couch and ask you not to
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: move it. You can't leave nothing at his house because
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: he got people coming over there, and he don't need
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: no signs of another woman. He's a dog lover. Bit
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: he don't let your dog come over, so he don't
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: love your dog. What kind of dog lover is he?
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: The loved dogs?
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: They don't his momy.
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: On Sunday, his mom and dad call said they were
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: stopping by because they was in the area. He told
- 1:04:40Speaker 6: you you should go before they got there. Then you
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: justified by saying I get that it wouldn't be good
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: to meet them for the first time like that. But
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: he could have been nicer about it or would have
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: said I could meet them another time. He ain't never
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: told you you could meet him. You've been dating for
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: two years. If you ain't met the man's mama buy
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: in two years, it's because you're not the one.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: He won't come to any of my work events, and
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I have a lot of them.
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: He said, we need to decide where our relationship is
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: going before we make those kinds of moves.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: It's been two years.
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: They ain't a man living that's been with a woman
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: study for two years and don't know where it's going.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: We just ain't told you. I don't understand what that means.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: It means you're not the one. I'm sorry, sister, that's
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: what this means. He's thirty six and I'm thirty two,
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: and for the past year, two years. We've been having
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: most of our meals together, sleeping together, working out together,
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: and even hanging out with my two sisters. Ye, but
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: you ain't been with none of his family. I won't
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: let him meet my parents until I met he is.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: He don't care nothing about meeting your mom and daddy.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: That ain't bothering him. He ain't never asked you to
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: meet them. But when his mom and daddy was coming
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: over his house, you got to go.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Sister.
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: Come on now, I won't let him meet my parts
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: until I met he is. Well, you ain't gonna he
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: ain't gonna never meet him because I don't know how
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: to introduce him. If I say he's my boyfriend, he
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: might correct me in front of my daddy, and that
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: would be embarrassing. If this ain't your boyfriend after two years,
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: what are you doing? If you can't call him your boyfriend?
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: You just said, y'all do everything together, spend the night,
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: eat all your meals, sleeping together, you work out together,
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: even hang out with your two sisters.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: But that ain't your boyfriend.
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: When I look back on how that situation began, I
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: didn't ask the right questions. He never told me he
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: was ready to settle down. We just started hanging out
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: a lot and having a great sex. Have I let
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: this go on for too long to start questioning him.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: Let me tell you what you went too far without
- 1:06:53Speaker 6: and listen to me. Careful, ladies, you went too long
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: without defining your relationship.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: You need a.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Definition of what you have.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: And ladies, you have every right to have a definition
- 1:07:10Speaker 6: of what you have because you're giving him your.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: Most precious item that you have, your body. Now.
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: You can give this to him, but he ain't got
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: to give you a definition. Are you crazy? Are you
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: kidding me? You lay in this bed with this man,
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: y'all eat all your meals together. He got tall the
- 1:07:32Speaker 6: trees in your house, y'all sleep together, you have great
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: sex together.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: But you can't ask him what is this we have?
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: You can't even run the risk of introducing him as
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: your boyfriend. Ladies, stop being in a relationship not knowing
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: what it is. You're not in a relationship, You're in
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: a situation. You can't even meet his mom and daddy.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: He told you to get out when he was coming over,
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: and then you said, well, I'm not gonna introduce hithing
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: to my parents till I'd have met his He ain't
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: never asked you to meet your parents. He has no
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: interest in meeting your parents because you're not requiring a definition.
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: Stop this letter right now and get a definition from
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: this man of what you have. You may find out
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: that you have nothing. And if you have nothing, then
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: what are you in it for? I feel sorry for
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: his sister.
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: Really, don't give up. Two more years.
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: Two years and you can't even call him your boyfriend.
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: Two years and you ain't met his mama? What how
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: you taking a man's steady all the time and you

- 1:14:11Speaker 11: She's out of Augusta. She says, I have four grandchildren
- 1:14:15Speaker 11: that live with me. Their father moved to be closer
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: to them, and he asked to live with me until
- 1:14:20Speaker 11: he finds a place. He's not my son, so I
- 1:14:24Speaker 11: had to ask my daughter if.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: She's cool with it.
- 1:14:27Speaker 11: She told me she doesn't want me to offer him
- 1:14:29Speaker 11: a space to stay. She's in jail, so she can't
- 1:14:32Speaker 11: control what's going on in my home. I want to
- 1:14:36Speaker 11: do what's best for my grandkids. Yeah, and their father.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah?
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: What?
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Umka need some new pants? Yeah, just took a left
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: turn in real halt, Yeah, it.
- 1:14:54Speaker 8: Did because of the jail thing.
- 1:14:55Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: She says she has four grandchildren at home that live
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: with her. Their father moved closer so he could be
- 1:15:02Speaker 11: with them, and then the father asked the kid's grandmother
- 1:15:06Speaker 11: could he move there too until he finds himself a place,
- 1:15:10Speaker 11: And she says he's not her biological son, so she
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: had to ask her daughter if it was okay for
- 1:15:16Speaker 11: him to stay there.
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: Well, her daughter's in jail.
- 1:15:18Speaker 11: She and JA, her daughter's in jail, and she doesn't
- 1:15:21Speaker 11: want the mom to offer him a place to stay.
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: But then again, the mom she got a lot in
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: there because the state then gave her somewhere to stay.
- 1:15:31Speaker 11: Then the mom says she can't control what's going on
- 1:15:34Speaker 11: in her house. But then why did you ask her
- 1:15:36Speaker 11: in the first place.
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, she just told her and her daughter don't
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: want her to offer him no place to stay, right,
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: he's trying to be a good father, or maybe he
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: just needs a place to stay.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: Oh, the mama in jail though, calling shots, I know,
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: ain't no way in the world.

- 1:17:06Speaker 6: do the right thing for the kids. Yeah, he looks
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: like he might be taking advantage of the situation so
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: he can get a free place to stay.
- 1:17:18Speaker 15: The mama is in jail, though, call him the shot.
- 1:17:25Speaker 15: That's a lot on this one. Yeah, I can't help you.

- 1:26:18Speaker 6: this morning. You woke up today. Do you realize you
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: had no say so in that matter? Do you understand that?
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: Do you understand that it was He who woke you up,
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: not your alarm clock? Alarm clock goes off all over
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: this country today. But if God don't shake you to
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: wake you to hear it, to respond to it, it's
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: a rap. God has been watching over you from the
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: time you got here. But because God gives us the
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: freedom of choice. We do get to decide if we
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: want this relationship with him or not. Think of all
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: the people that you know that are in bad situations,
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: especially situations where they made a decision to be in
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: that situation. You have to understand that we are all
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: of some total of decisions we've made throughout our life.
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: If you are not where you want to be in life,
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: you simply have to start making another type of decision.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: The best decision you could possibly make is to start
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: a relationship with your creator. I mean, look, it doesn't
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: take a public display to get this done. You don't
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: have to post it, you don't have to make a
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: big deal of it with other people. It's a personal
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: relationship that you're after and you don't have to publicize it.
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: It's okay. And the cool thing about a relationship with
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: God is you ain't got to get it cleared by nobody.
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: You don't have to make an appointment. That's crazy. You
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: don't have to make an appointment. Here's another thing. He's
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: always available, He's never too busy for you. You can
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: actually get on his favorites list. I am I've requested it,
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: I've asked could I be a favorite and I am.
- 1:28:22Speaker 6: I'm not the only one, and you could be also.
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: But that's what I've done. I've made a conscious effort
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: to seek that relationship. The benefits have been immeasurable. I
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: now live in a measure of peace that I've never
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: had before. I actually understand what it's like to not
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: suffer from anxiety anymore. I have no anxiety over my past.
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: I have no anxiety over my future. Those are two
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: things you have no control over. But man, by simply
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: acknowledging him having a relationship with him, incredible thing can happen.
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: I live my life in a great mind of peace
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: right now. Do you know when you turn it over
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: to him, that you don't have to worry about tomorrow? Well,
- 1:29:09Speaker 6: not that you could do anything about it anyway, but
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: you actually, you actually don't have to concern yourself with it.
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: And I'm telling you something. It releases a lot of
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: pressure off you. Because I've learned that we only built
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: for twenty four hour increments. God designed the human body
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: and the human mind to deal with today. That's the
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: Lord's prayer. Give us this day our daily bread. That's
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: all you built for. Stop worrying about your past, Stop
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: worrying about your future. Those two things you could do
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: nothing about. It causes anxiety, but a relationship with God
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: gives you a peace, a peace of mind that is
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: unsurpassed by anything, and nothing can separate you from that,
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: nothing except you making this decision to walk away once again.
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: If you're not happy with where you are in life,
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: start making different decisions. And the best decision that you
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: could possibly make is to have a relationship with God.
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: God is in the blessing business. God is in to
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: get your life together business. God is in the fix
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: it business. He's in the turn your life around business.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: God is in the forgiving business. It doesn't matter what
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: you've done. God is available, and I'm grateful to that.
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: I stand on that promise and it's been good for me.
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: Those are my closing remarks today. I know there's more,
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: but I'm done. I didn't want to drag it out
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: no more. So it's a wrap.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Hope everybody have a good day out there.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: Yeah you needed that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Me too.
