- 0:01Speaker 1: Would Hunter Biden be in jail years ago if he
- 0:07Speaker 1: were a Republican. Well, that is exactly what Ronda Santis,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Florida governor and now candidate for President of the United
- 0:13Speaker 1: States of America, has said, saying, Look, the federal investigation
- 0:17Speaker 1: of Hunter Biden is now in its fifth year, and
- 0:20Speaker 1: there is no doubt that if Hunter Biden were a Republican,
- 0:23Speaker 1: he'd already be in prison. Roda Santis is making it
- 0:28Speaker 1: clear what he thinks about this federal investigation to the
- 0:32Speaker 1: president's son, the Florida governor who announced he is in
- 0:36Speaker 1: this race, officially made the comments during a campaign stop
- 0:40Speaker 1: in Iowa. When asked about weaponize bureaucracy in Washington, d c.
- 0:46Speaker 1: He said, quote, we have a bureaucracy that our founding
- 0:49Speaker 1: fathers would find unrecognizable. It's an unaccountable, weaponized administrative state
- 0:56Speaker 1: that unevenly wields authority depending on its target, two different
- 1:01Speaker 1: sets of rules, depending on whether you're a member in
- 1:03Speaker 1: good standing of the elite society or not. He continued,
- 1:07Speaker 1: saying this, if Hunter were Republican, he would have been
- 1:10Speaker 1: in jail years ago. Now, this investigation has been taking
- 1:14Speaker 1: a long time, and Republicans in the House are asking
- 1:17Speaker 1: now a lot of questions. One of the people that's
- 1:21Speaker 1: demanding answers is James Comer. James Comer is now threatening
- 1:26Speaker 1: to hold the FBI Director, Christopher Ray in contempt for
- 1:30Speaker 1: not producing Hunter Biden documents. Now, these documents are extremely important,
- 1:36Speaker 1: and I want you to hear what was said on
- 1:39Speaker 1: Fox News about this with Jonathan Turley and the background
- 1:43Speaker 1: of why they want these documents.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Arthel.
- 1:46Speaker 3: We are now just two days away from a major
- 1:48Speaker 3: meeting about the Biden family business dealings. FBI Director Christopher
- 1:52Speaker 3: Ray is set to speak with houseover sde Committee Chairman
- 1:55Speaker 3: James Comer on Wednesday, that is, one day after the
- 1:58Speaker 3: deadline that Comer gave him to share an internal document.
- 2:02Speaker 3: A whistleblower claims that the document shows then Vice President
- 2:05Speaker 3: Biden was involved in a criminal scheme.
- 2:08Speaker 2: With a foreign national.
- 2:10Speaker 3: For more on this, joining us now is Jonathan Turley,
- 2:12Speaker 3: Bock News contributor and a g w U law professor
- 2:16Speaker 3: and a constitutional law attorney. Jonathan, thanks for your time today.
- 2:20Speaker 3: So look, this make is going to happen on Wednesday,
- 2:23Speaker 3: right after James Comer and Republicans were potentially pitching the
- 2:27Speaker 3: idea of holding Christopher Ray in contempt of Congress if
- 2:31Speaker 3: he didn't start cooperating. What do you think is going
- 2:33Speaker 3: to come out of this meeting, if anything.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Well, most expectations is that Ray is going to hold
- 2:38Speaker 4: the line and resist revealing this document. Their argument is
- 2:42Speaker 4: that this document contains the type of raw allegations that
- 2:46Speaker 4: come over the transom or through sources, sometimes anonymous sources.
- 2:51Speaker 4: The problem with the FBI's position is that it is
- 2:54Speaker 4: also being investigated that One of the concerns among many
- 2:58Speaker 4: in the American people is that they believe that the
- 3:01Speaker 4: FBI has been politically compromised for years, and polls indicate
- 3:06Speaker 4: that that is not changing. And whether you agree with
- 3:09Speaker 4: that or not, it suggests that your approach needs to change.
- 3:13Speaker 4: That is the only way to reverse those numbers is
- 3:16Speaker 4: to give greater transparency. There's another issue here that supports Congress.
- 3:22Speaker 4: You know, yes, the FBI investigates crime, but one of
- 3:26Speaker 4: the functions of the Congress in oversight is to look
- 3:30Speaker 4: at corruption that includes things that may not be criminal
- 3:33Speaker 4: but are corrupt. Influence peddling is the favorite form of
- 3:37Speaker 4: corruption in Washington, and in this case, the Bidens have
- 3:41Speaker 4: been accused of millions of dollars coming from foreign interests,
- 3:45Speaker 4: some closely associated with foreign intelligence. This document's part of
- 3:51Speaker 4: that investigation. I think that raise got to look at
- 3:54Speaker 4: that context and say, this is not the usual you know,
- 3:58Speaker 4: push and shove from Congress. There's a need here to
- 4:02Speaker 4: be more transparent.
- 4:04Speaker 1: There's a need here to be more transparent. The question
- 4:06Speaker 1: is will he be more transparent now. James Comber has
- 4:11Speaker 1: made it clear he's not putting up with this partisanism
- 4:15Speaker 1: any longer, and the chairman of the US House Oversight
- 4:18Speaker 1: Committee said this week that he is beginning the proceedings
- 4:21Speaker 1: to hold the FBI Director Christopher Ray, in contempt of
- 4:24Speaker 1: Congress for not producing a memo that is related to
- 4:29Speaker 1: the agency's investigation into President Joe Biden. Comber said the
- 4:34Speaker 1: FBI's decision to withhold the document is unacceptable after he
- 4:37Speaker 1: was told about it through a whistleblower, saying, quote today,
- 4:42Speaker 1: the FBI informed the committee that it will not provide
- 4:44Speaker 1: the unclassified documents. So these aren't even classified. These are
- 4:49Speaker 1: unclassified documents subpoenaed by the committee, basically saying subpoena by Congress.
- 4:56Speaker 1: The FBI's decision to stiff arm Congress and hide the
- 4:59Speaker 1: ass in firm from the American people is obstructionists and unacceptable. Now,
- 5:06Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee has already been investigating President Biden,
- 5:10Speaker 1: and I want to be clear about how I describe
- 5:13Speaker 1: that President Biden. Yes, they're looking at his son's business
- 5:15Speaker 1: dealings in China, but they're looking at really whether President
- 5:19Speaker 1: Biden illegally or unethically benefited from these multi million dollar
- 5:25Speaker 1: transactions and his compromise because of them with different countries
- 5:30Speaker 1: that can include China, Russia, the list, Romania, Ukraine, the
- 5:35Speaker 1: list goes on and on. Quote. While I have a
- 5:39Speaker 1: call scheduled with FBI Director Ray to discuss his response further.
- 5:45Speaker 1: The Committee has been clear and its intent to protect
- 5:48Speaker 1: Congressional oversight authority and will now be taking steps to
- 5:52Speaker 1: hold the FBI director in contempt of Congress for refusing
- 5:55Speaker 1: to comply with a lawful subpoena America deserves the truth
- 5:59Speaker 1: in The Overite Committee will continue to demand transparency from
- 6:03Speaker 1: the nation's chief law enforcement agency. Now. Last month, James
- 6:07Speaker 1: Comber said the committee was investigating not one, not two,
- 6:09Speaker 1: not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven,
- 6:13Speaker 1: not eight, but nine Biden family members. Now let me
- 6:15Speaker 1: be clear, he said, the committee is investigating, We're not
- 6:19Speaker 1: naming nine that benefited financially that we know about from
- 6:23Speaker 1: these suspicious activity reports. He's now saying that they are
- 6:28Speaker 1: investigating the nine Biden family members after they received more
- 6:32Speaker 1: of the financial documents from the Treasury Department. James Comer
- 6:36Speaker 1: says the large sums were transferred from at least one
- 6:40Speaker 1: Chinese communist company that ended up in bank accounts controlled
- 6:44Speaker 1: by the Biden Nexus, saying, quote, thousands of pages of
- 6:49Speaker 1: financial records related to the Biden family, their companies and associates,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and the business schemes were made available to members of
- 6:57Speaker 1: the House Committee on Oversit in Account which confirm the
- 7:02Speaker 1: importance of this investigation. Comer went on to say, now
- 7:06Speaker 1: this is the reason why, and I go back to
- 7:08Speaker 1: Ronda Santis here. He understands that this is an election
- 7:12Speaker 1: your issue. He understands that it's important for this to
- 7:17Speaker 1: take place in a move forward. He also understands how
- 7:21Speaker 1: corrupt everything has been, and this is exactly why. The
- 7:25Speaker 1: former Attorney General Bill Barr said on Saturday at an
- 7:28Speaker 1: event that the Hunter Biden, the son of the President
- 7:32Speaker 1: Joe Biden, is likely to face serious charges stemming from
- 7:35Speaker 1: a Department of Justice probe. The DOJ has conducted a
- 7:39Speaker 1: year long investigate, years long, four year and five year
- 7:42Speaker 1: long investigation on Hunter Biden for alleged tax offenses and
- 7:45Speaker 1: making false statements while purchasing a firearm. Barr, who was
- 7:49Speaker 1: serving as the AG when the investigation began, provided his
- 7:52Speaker 1: perspective on the investigation during an appearance on CBS News.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Barsity suspects a recent meeting between federal PROSSUS Delaware authorities
- 8:02Speaker 1: and Hunter Biden's attorneys indicate that the DOJ officials are
- 8:06Speaker 1: nearing a charging decision in that case. There's probably been
- 8:10Speaker 1: a lot of hand ringing in many different places, but
- 8:12Speaker 1: I assume that the defense went in there to try
- 8:15Speaker 1: to see what they think would be a way to
- 8:18Speaker 1: resolve this without serious charges against Hunter Biden, Bill Bar said,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I suspect they're going to be unsuccessful, quote unquote. Barr
- 8:26Speaker 1: also added that the case is likely taking a longer
- 8:29Speaker 1: time because the tax case against the President sun is complicated,
- 8:33Speaker 1: especially after they fired everybody that was investigating it, removed
- 8:36Speaker 1: them from it at the IRS. It requires work from
- 8:40Speaker 1: the IRS side, but also because the DOJ could be
- 8:44Speaker 1: probing the allegations of corruption lobbied against Hunter Biden by Republicans.
- 8:51Speaker 1: In addition to the DOJ probe, we also know that
- 8:54Speaker 1: Hunter Biden is facing legal scrutiny from House Republicans over
- 8:58Speaker 1: his foreign business dealings. GOP lawmakers have said that his
- 9:02Speaker 1: business dealings with foreign companies, including some associated with directly
- 9:06Speaker 1: with the CCP Chinese Communist Party while his father served
- 9:10Speaker 1: as a vice president from twenty and nine to twenty
- 9:13Speaker 1: seventeen under Barack Obama, should face investigations over their alleged corruption. Quote.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Bar said he shares concerns about abuses of power conducted
- 9:25Speaker 1: by Hunter Biden, but ultimately question whether he would ultimately
- 9:28Speaker 1: be found guilty in a court of law, saying this,
- 9:31Speaker 1: there's a difference between abuse of power, shameful behavior when
- 9:35Speaker 1: you're in power and so forth, and something that can
- 9:37Speaker 1: actually be proven as a crime. Bar said, I joined
- 9:40Speaker 1: the conclusion that there was a lot of shameful self
- 9:43Speaker 1: dealing and influence pedaling and so forth. I think the
- 9:46Speaker 1: American people should take note that should be explained and
- 9:49Speaker 1: shown to the American people. The questions whether you can
- 9:51Speaker 1: prove a crime is a different matter, which is exactly
- 9:54Speaker 1: why By the way, House Republicans are not focusing in
- 9:58Speaker 1: on Hunter Biden, using in on the president of the
- 10:02Speaker 1: United States of America, because really that's where the real
- 10:05Speaker 1: crimes were being committed. Now you understand their strategy. Now,
- 10:10Speaker 1: before I get into more of this story, I want
- 10:12Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 10:14Speaker 1: friends at Patriot Mobile. They are now offering a performance guarantee.
- 10:19Speaker 1: If you're not happy with your coverage, you can switch
- 10:21Speaker 1: between the three major carriers for free. Yeah, Patriot Mobile
- 10:26Speaker 1: is America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. They are for
- 10:30Speaker 1: nationwide coverage on the best G four and G five networks,
- 10:33Speaker 1: the same network and towers are using right now. The
- 10:37Speaker 1: difference is not only do you get the same great
- 10:40Speaker 1: quality that you're used to, but they actually are a
- 10:44Speaker 1: company that fights to preserve our God given rights and freedoms.
- 10:48Speaker 1: So this year resolved to stop spending your money with
- 10:52Speaker 1: companies that don't align with your values, in fact, actually
- 10:55Speaker 1: fight against what you believe in. Switch to Patriot Mobile.
- 10:58Speaker 1: You'll be supporting First and Sea, secing amendic groups, the
- 11:01Speaker 1: rights of unborn children, and even helping with adoptions. It
- 11:05Speaker 1: is easy to switch. Call them right now, or go
- 11:08Speaker 1: online to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson. That's patriotmobile dot
- 11:12Speaker 1: com slash ferguson. Or call them eight seven eight Patriot
- 11:16Speaker 1: you're gonna get free activation with the offer code ferguson.
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's eight seven eight Patriot or patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 11:25Speaker 1: It's pretty clear that James Comer is not messing around,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and he also explained to us why he wants this
- 11:34Speaker 1: piece of paper. It's not classified that the FBI Director
- 11:38Speaker 1: Christopher Ray is refusing to turn over. Now, the intel
- 11:41Speaker 1: they have to even know to ask for this piece
- 11:43Speaker 1: of paper was from a whistleblower. Here's what he had
- 11:46Speaker 1: to say on Fox News Channel with Sean Hannity. Listen.
- 11:49Speaker 5: So, but the ten twenty three is a confidential informant
- 11:53Speaker 5: that would give information that they would take it. Maybe
- 11:55Speaker 5: it's not fully corroborated. Now, the question is did they
- 11:59Speaker 5: do a full investment.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Mitigation A and B.
- 12:02Speaker 5: And secondly, if they feel or fear that this may
- 12:06Speaker 5: be made public, I'm sure you would agree to see
- 12:10Speaker 5: it in a skiff or a private setting. Would that
- 12:12Speaker 5: be fair?
- 12:14Speaker 2: That would be fair. But it's not classified.
- 12:17Speaker 6: So their argument that says they don't want to out
- 12:21Speaker 6: their inform it.
- 12:22Speaker 2: I agree with that one hundred percent.
- 12:23Speaker 6: There's a process in Washington tend to prevent that, and
- 12:26Speaker 6: that's called redacting the name of the informant. That solves
- 12:30Speaker 6: that if the informant's claim isn't legitimate, then again, why
- 12:35Speaker 6: are they worried about the informant? Look, we learned something
- 12:39Speaker 6: during the second conversation we had with people representing the FBA,
- 12:43Speaker 6: when they came in to talk to my staff.
- 12:45Speaker 2: We our specific request.
- 12:47Speaker 6: First of all, said we want any form ten twenty
- 12:51Speaker 6: three dated in August twenty twenty with the word Biden
- 12:55Speaker 6: on it. And you know what they came back and said, Sean,
- 12:57Speaker 6: They said, well, that would just be too many documents.
- 13:01Speaker 6: We can't positively prepare all that. So you know a
- 13:04Speaker 6: lot of bulb costen. What do you mean how many
- 13:07Speaker 6: ten twenty threes are there with the word Biden just
- 13:12Speaker 6: for one month in twenty twenty.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Now, this is what we found with.
- 13:15Speaker 6: The Treasury with the suspicious activity ports. There were hundreds
- 13:20Speaker 6: of these indicating potential wrongdoing of the bidens with respect
- 13:24Speaker 6: to financial transactions. Now, the way that I understood the FBI,
- 13:29Speaker 6: there are multiple FOURM, ten twenty threes pertaining to Biden,
- 13:33Speaker 6: So we had to narrow the focus to say, okay,
- 13:36Speaker 6: Biden and the word five million dollars.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So let's just sit back and recap this for a moment.
- 13:44Speaker 1: The Justice Department does not deny the existence of this record.
- 13:48Speaker 1: The Justice Department says there's too many records that deal
- 13:52Speaker 1: with the Bidens during one month of a certain year,
- 13:55Speaker 1: which is shocking in itself. So they had to go
- 13:58Speaker 1: back and say, do you have any documents with Biden
- 14:00Speaker 1: and have five million involved? And that is exactly why
- 14:06Speaker 1: Comer says the FBI informed the committee that it will
- 14:09Speaker 1: not provide the unclassified documents subpoened by the committee and
- 14:13Speaker 1: the FBI's decision to stiff arm Congress and hide this
- 14:16Speaker 1: information for the American people as obstruction is and unacceptable. Now,
- 14:21Speaker 1: James Comer and Chris Ray do have a phone call
- 14:25Speaker 1: that is supposed to take place today. Comer was asked
- 14:29Speaker 1: about that, right, will you proceed to hold the FBI
- 14:33Speaker 1: and condemned to Congress or if you talk to him,
- 14:37Speaker 1: what's going to happen. Listen to his answer on that.
- 14:39Speaker 5: So you're going to hold direct Array in contempt. Is
- 14:43Speaker 5: that what you said, even though you have a scheduled
- 14:45Speaker 5: call with them, Where does it stand tonight?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Well, today was the deadline.
- 14:49Speaker 6: He was given three weeks to produce a document and
- 14:54Speaker 6: go into detail on what exactly they did to investigate
- 14:57Speaker 6: the validity of the document. But thus far he won't
- 15:01Speaker 6: even admit that they have the document. Sean, he's given
- 15:05Speaker 6: us the run around for three weeks. He's just stalling.
- 15:08Speaker 6: He said, there's good faith effort. They haven't produced anything.
- 15:11Speaker 6: They haven't even admitted they have a document, So we
- 15:14Speaker 6: don't have confidence and Director Array. We're already in the
- 15:17Speaker 6: process of drafting legislation to hold an Oversight Committee mark
- 15:21Speaker 6: up next week to hold FBI Director Ray in contempt
- 15:26Speaker 6: of Congress.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I don't blame him for this. Yeah, if you're going
- 15:30Speaker 1: to have a phone call with him, fine, But thousands
- 15:33Speaker 1: of pages of financial records right of the Biden family,
- 15:35Speaker 1: their comings and associate and their business schemes that have
- 15:38Speaker 1: been made available to Congress. They're finding stuff. Now you
- 15:40Speaker 1: got a whistleblower saying hey, you don't have it all.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Then they go to the FBI and they say, hey,
- 15:44Speaker 1: we need to look at this piece of paper, right,
- 15:48Speaker 1: and they say, no, we're not going to give it
- 15:50Speaker 1: to you. It's not even classified. Don't care because they're
- 15:53Speaker 1: protecting the Biden crime family. In other words, who gives
- 15:57Speaker 1: a crap if the FBI director has a scheduled phone
- 16:00Speaker 1: call with the House Oversite Committee Chairman James Comber discussed
- 16:04Speaker 1: the informant file. The informant file that allegedly accuses President
- 16:08Speaker 1: Biden of being part of a five million dollar bribery scheme.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Your response to subpoenas due by May thirtieth. You missed
- 16:14Speaker 1: the deadline, right, So fine, I'll take your phone call,
- 16:17Speaker 1: but you missed the deadline. We sent you a subpoena
- 16:20Speaker 1: for the information on May third, after the whistleblower contact
- 16:24Speaker 1: to Center Chuck Grassley about the document said to have
- 16:27Speaker 1: been created or modified on June thirtieth of twenty twenty.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The FBI last week releasing confidential source information could quote
- 16:36Speaker 1: jeopardize potentially investigations and put lives at risk potentially. I
- 16:41Speaker 1: love the FBI. At least they're consistent, right, can't show
- 16:43Speaker 1: you might someone might die. The FBI remains committed to
- 16:47Speaker 1: cooperating with Congress's oversight requests on this matter and others,
- 16:50Speaker 1: as we always have. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy also attempted
- 16:55Speaker 1: to help mediate the dispute with a May nineteenth call
- 16:58Speaker 1: to Christopher Ray said afterwards he thought the Bureau would comply, saying, quote,
- 17:03Speaker 1: the fbis continue to tie itself in k nots to
- 17:05Speaker 1: ignore a legitimate subpoena from Congress, which has a constitutional
- 17:11Speaker 1: duty of oversight. That's what Chuck Grassley said last week.
- 17:16Speaker 1: The bureaus developed a serious reputation problem through its spats
- 17:21Speaker 1: of failure and overreach, and leadership is going doing itself
- 17:26Speaker 1: no favors by attempting to stiff arm Congress again. The
- 17:29Speaker 1: longtime sinator said he's angry because exquissleb or Protection Caucus
- 17:34Speaker 1: co chairman, it understands these people are putting their careers
- 17:38Speaker 1: at risk every time they are forced to come forward.
- 17:42Speaker 1: The FBI knows exactly what document Chairman Comber and I
- 17:45Speaker 1: are seeking, and if they know us at all, they
- 17:49Speaker 1: know we will get it one way or another. If
- 17:51Speaker 1: FBI leadership truly cares about protecting the agency's reputation, they'd cooperate.
- 17:58Speaker 1: James Comer in the House side grass on the Senate
- 18:00Speaker 1: side have not publicly discussed major details of bribery allegation,
- 18:05Speaker 1: such as specifying which country or US policy decisions were
- 18:10Speaker 1: involved or manipulated due to the payoff. Congress, by the way,
- 18:16Speaker 1: has many tools to force the executive branch agencies that
- 18:20Speaker 1: comply with subpoenas, including litigation and withholding funding. In addition
- 18:25Speaker 1: to contempt votes, which generally are used to shame subjects,
- 18:29Speaker 1: it's possible for lawmakers to impeach officials like Christopher Ray. During,
- 18:35Speaker 1: by the way, the immediate after math of the vice presidency,
- 18:39Speaker 1: Joe Biden interacted with his son Hunter Biden and his
- 18:42Speaker 1: brother James Biden's associates in China, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine,
- 18:47Speaker 1: Romania that according to files from Hunter Biden's laptop, he
- 18:52Speaker 1: even appeared to be penciled in for a ten percent
- 18:54Speaker 1: cut of the Chinese government link age energy deal under
- 18:57Speaker 1: negotiation seventeen that didn't pay out until right after he
- 19:00Speaker 1: left the Vice presidential office. You've got to understand here,
- 19:07Speaker 1: we've got whistleblowers who now feel comfortable to come forward.
- 19:11Speaker 1: We have the irs whistleblower, Gary Shapley, who oversaw the
- 19:15Speaker 1: tax fraud investigation of Hunter Biden since twenty twenty. He
- 19:18Speaker 1: testified Friday to the Housewaves and Means Committee about alleged
- 19:22Speaker 1: preferential treatment in the five year old investigation. The primary
- 19:26Speaker 1: IRS case agent on that investigation since it opened in
- 19:29Speaker 1: eighteen came forward last week to back up his boss
- 19:33Speaker 1: after the IRS I May the fifteenth to remove the
- 19:35Speaker 1: thirteen people that were investigating. They were the thirteen person
- 19:39Speaker 1: investigative team in alleged retribution for him contacting Congress. FBI
- 19:46Speaker 1: agents assigned to the investigation also reportedly are frustrated by
- 19:49Speaker 1: the lack of charges after computing most of their work
- 19:52Speaker 1: on the case, not this year, but last year. Time
- 19:55Speaker 1: and time again. The Democrats keep winning. And the reason
- 19:59Speaker 1: why is because they never are held accountable and they
- 20:01Speaker 1: apparently never have to play by the rules. That's the
- 20:05Speaker 1: problem here, and we better wake up and understand we
- 20:08Speaker 1: have an opportunity. And James Comer and Jim Jordan are
- 20:11Speaker 1: doing an amazing job with this, Chuck Grassley doing an
- 20:13Speaker 1: amazing job with this, but other Republicans need to understand.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Now it's very clear, it's very very clear from these
- 20:24Speaker 1: whistleblowers that all this was going on James Comer also
- 20:28Speaker 1: said this about Joe Biden, saying, Joe Biden lied to
- 20:32Speaker 1: the American people. Listen to this where he had say,
- 20:34Speaker 1: Maria Bartromo.
- 20:35Speaker 6: There are a lot of obstacles, but I think what
- 20:37Speaker 6: we produced this week, this thirty eight page memorandum, was
- 20:41Speaker 6: pretty solid evidence that we've been able to accumulate, showing
- 20:45Speaker 6: that Joe Biden lied when he said his family never
- 20:47Speaker 6: took money from China, showing that the media got it
- 20:50Speaker 6: wrong when they said none of these payments were ever
- 20:52Speaker 6: made while Joe Biden was in office, and then naming
- 20:55Speaker 6: nine bad Biden family members that received money. None of
- 20:58Speaker 6: this was ever known before, so we presented the media
- 21:01Speaker 6: with something they weren't used to, especially when Adam Schiff
- 21:04Speaker 6: was leaving the investigations.
- 21:06Speaker 2: We produced evidence.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, they have produced evidence, and now it's time for
- 21:11Speaker 1: Republicans to get off their ear ends and focus in
- 21:15Speaker 1: on this. Let's talk about a great opportunity for your IRA.

- 22:17Speaker 1: want to move on to another issue that is important,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and I'm going to read you the headline first and
- 22:22Speaker 1: then I'm going to play you piece of audio that
- 22:25Speaker 1: connects very much to this headline. The headline is this.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I love this headline. By the way Donald Trump pledges
- 22:34Speaker 1: to end birthright citizenship on first day in office. That
- 22:39Speaker 1: apparently is now evil and bigoted and racist everything you
- 22:43Speaker 1: would expect. In fact, now the media is saying that
- 22:47Speaker 1: both DeSantis standing up for our borders and Trump, they
- 22:51Speaker 1: now say, are identical and now it's just a race
- 22:54Speaker 1: for who is more xenophobic than the other, because they
- 22:58Speaker 1: actually want to stand up for an America First policy. They're
- 23:02Speaker 1: also angry in the media that people like Chris Christy,
- 23:06Speaker 1: who are looking at this race and saying, look at me,
- 23:09Speaker 1: look at me, right for me, I might be the
- 23:11Speaker 1: great guy that you should get behind. They're angry that
- 23:15Speaker 1: they're not showing up in the polling at all. They're
- 23:19Speaker 1: basically a joke. Take a listen to this as they're
- 23:23Speaker 1: giving you their expertise on CNN.
- 23:27Speaker 2: It shows that.
- 23:28Speaker 7: The true state of the Republican Party is maga. There
- 23:32Speaker 7: are not two dual parties here. There's not two wings.
- 23:36Speaker 2: There is just.
- 23:37Speaker 7: MAGA and extreme MAGA. And you see that clearly playing
- 23:42Speaker 7: out in the polls, with people like Christie purporting to
- 23:45Speaker 7: be moderates, purporting to be part.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Of the normal wing of the Republican.
- 23:49Speaker 7: Party, getting hardly any support in the actual data.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Now, I love the fact that they're describing the Republican
- 23:59Speaker 1: Party as the part you MAGA an ultra MAGA make
- 24:02Speaker 1: America great again. If that's who we are. I have
- 24:05Speaker 1: no issues with it. I also love the fact that
- 24:08Speaker 1: they think the Republican Party should be Chris Christie and
- 24:12Speaker 1: they're angry that it's not. That also tells you everything
- 24:15Speaker 1: you need to know about how successful we are right now.
- 24:18Speaker 1: We don't want Chris Christy to be showing up in
- 24:20Speaker 1: the polls, the same way that we don't want Jeb
- 24:22Speaker 1: Bush to be showing up in the polls. The last
- 24:25Speaker 1: thing we want is for these idiots to show up
- 24:28Speaker 1: in the polls.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I do believe we have to reach out in a
- 24:31Speaker 1: general election, and I don't want there to be a
- 24:35Speaker 1: blood bath and a just massive feeding frenzy between Ron
- 24:41Speaker 1: DeSantis and Donald Trump. As I said the other day,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I'm happy with both candidates, and whoever gets the nomination,
- 24:48Speaker 1: I will happily support. What I don't want to happen
- 24:52Speaker 1: is for these morons to convince America that a guy
- 24:55Speaker 1: like Chris Christy deserves your vote when clearly he doesn't. Now,
- 24:59Speaker 1: let me go back to the headline, by the way,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and this is again an American first policy. Donald Trump
- 25:06Speaker 1: is pledging ten birthright citizenship on first in office. Immediately
- 25:09Speaker 1: they screen that's racist, is in a phobia, YadA YadA.
- 25:12Speaker 1: But what the former president is doing is he's returning
- 25:16Speaker 1: to his calls he's made these before to remove birthright
- 25:20Speaker 1: citizenship with his twenty twenty four White House campaign announcing
- 25:25Speaker 1: this week he would seek to end it via executive
- 25:28Speaker 1: order on the first and in office now. Trump announced his
- 25:31Speaker 1: plan on the twenty fifth anniversary of the United States
- 25:34Speaker 1: versus Wong Kim arc that's the Supreme Court case that
- 25:38Speaker 1: established the constitutional right to birthright citizenship. The proposal echoes
- 25:43Speaker 1: a long time demand of immigration restrictions and and measure
- 25:49Speaker 1: Trump touted while in office, attracting criticism from both immigration
- 25:53Speaker 1: advocates as well as legal experts. Now, the latest that
- 25:59Speaker 1: we now know is most experts say that a present
- 26:03Speaker 1: does not have the authority to end birthright citizenship through
- 26:05Speaker 1: an executive order, primarily because the practice is enshrined in
- 26:09Speaker 1: the Constitution. They claim the Fourteenth Amendment grand citizenship citizenship
- 26:14Speaker 1: to those born or naturalized in the United States of
- 26:16Speaker 1: America and subject to the jurisdiction thereof. The widely accepted
- 26:22Speaker 1: interpretation of that amendment that it applies to children born
- 26:27Speaker 1: in the United States of America regardless of the parents.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Immigration status has held since the eighteen ninety eighth Supreme
- 26:33Speaker 1: Court case involving a US citizen with Chinese parents. The
- 26:38Speaker 1: Fourteenth Amendment was adopted after the Civil War to guarantee
- 26:41Speaker 1: equal rights for former slaves. Immigration restrictions argue that excludes
- 26:48Speaker 1: the children of other groups, like undocumented immigrants, from its benefit.
- 26:53Speaker 1: As a member of the Reconstruction Congress explained in eighteen
- 26:58Speaker 1: sixty six, exception to birthright citizenship applies only to the
- 27:02Speaker 1: children of diplomats and those born into Native American tribes
- 27:07Speaker 1: who were under the jurisdiction of a separate sovereign and
- 27:11Speaker 1: did not need to comply with all US laws, wrote
- 27:14Speaker 1: Amanda Frost, a professor of law at the University of Virginia,
- 27:17Speaker 1: an author of quote you are not America citizenship, stripping
- 27:24Speaker 1: from dread Scott to the Dreamers now. In contrast, immigrants
- 27:28Speaker 1: and their children living the United States of America were
- 27:31Speaker 1: and are required to follow all federal and state laws
- 27:34Speaker 1: or face criminal and civil penalties, and so are fully
- 27:37Speaker 1: subject to the nation's jurisdictions. According to Trump campaign, the
- 27:42Speaker 1: executive order, they say, will explain the clear meaning of
- 27:45Speaker 1: the Fourteenth Amendment, which it says is that the children
- 27:47Speaker 1: of foreign nationals born in the United States of America
- 27:49Speaker 1: are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States
- 27:52Speaker 1: as defined in the Constitution now. During Trump's term in office,
- 27:56Speaker 1: a draft executive order to that effect was circulated, and
- 28:00Speaker 1: the idea was revised shortly after Trump lost to President
- 28:04Speaker 1: Biden in the twenty twenty election. But Trump had floated
- 28:07Speaker 1: inning birthright citizenship earlier in his presidency. In fact, in
- 28:11Speaker 1: twenty eighteen, he said in an Axis interview that he
- 28:14Speaker 1: planned to issue an executive order inning birthright citizenship, setting
- 28:17Speaker 1: off a political firestorm. It was always told to me
- 28:21Speaker 1: that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what you don't,
- 28:24Speaker 1: Trump said at the time. While executive order altering the
- 28:28Speaker 1: interpretation of the Fourteenth Amendment would likely face many legal challenges,
- 28:32Speaker 1: his proponents sought to take the case to the courts
- 28:34Speaker 1: and hoping of getting a favorable Supreme Court outcome. Supporters
- 28:39Speaker 1: of the measure also say that they're betting basically on
- 28:43Speaker 1: a judicial revocation of birthright citizenship. Quote. This will set
- 28:48Speaker 1: up the court fight, the order will be enjoined, case
- 28:52Speaker 1: will be eventually reached the Supreme Court which then will
- 28:56Speaker 1: finally have to rule on the meaning of subject to
- 28:59Speaker 1: the jurisdiction. That's what the executive director of the Center
- 29:02Speaker 1: for Immigration Studies, A restrictionist group is how the liberal
- 29:05Speaker 1: media calls them. That calls for massive reductions in immigration.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Now Trump has made it clear that he is trying
- 29:13Speaker 1: to secure the southern border, and just like in twenty sixteen,
- 29:16Speaker 1: Trump has sought to make immigration board security a top
- 29:19Speaker 1: campaign issue, as he should. In its release this week,
- 29:23Speaker 1: the Trump campaign dove into the fight over the meaning
- 29:25Speaker 1: of jurisdiction and claim that the United States has become
- 29:30Speaker 1: one of the few countries in the world to extend
- 29:32Speaker 1: citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, even if both
- 29:35Speaker 1: parents are not citizens nor even legally present in the
- 29:39Speaker 1: United States of America. Now, let me be clear, I
- 29:42Speaker 1: don't know if Donald Trump would win this one. I
- 29:45Speaker 1: do think it's important to understand what he's trying to accomplish,
- 29:50Speaker 1: and the agenda here is one that we need to understand.
- 29:54Speaker 1: The agenda of the president is let's go out and
- 29:58Speaker 1: fight on every one of these issues. Let's make sure
- 30:02Speaker 1: that we don't back down. Let's make sure that we
- 30:06Speaker 1: are standing here and making it clear what we believe in,
- 30:10Speaker 1: why we believe, and let's challenge any area where there
- 30:13Speaker 1: is a gray area if it comes to securing our
- 30:17Speaker 1: southern border. That's what he's trying to do here. The
- 30:20Speaker 1: other problem is, we know that people are abusing this rule.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We know that people are coming across the border illegally
- 30:28Speaker 1: at the very last second, and then they're having children
- 30:30Speaker 1: in this country. And they're doing it because then they
- 30:32Speaker 1: know that they've got an anchor to become a citizen here.
- 30:36Speaker 1: They know they're much less likely to be kicked out right,
- 30:40Speaker 1: much much much less likely to be kicked out of
- 30:44Speaker 1: this country if they have a child in this country.
- 30:47Speaker 1: They're betting on all of this, Okay, Like this is
- 30:51Speaker 1: their thing. This is what they're betting on. This is
- 30:54Speaker 1: what they're hoping is going to happen. There's also one
- 30:57Speaker 1: other point I want to make, and that's about the media.
- 30:59Speaker 1: The media he is not reporting this story accurately. If
- 31:04Speaker 1: you actually listen to what Donald Trump said pledging this
- 31:07Speaker 1: executive order on day one of his presidency to end
- 31:09Speaker 1: birthright citizenship for legal aliens, he says, clearly this is
- 31:13Speaker 1: part of his entire basically immigration, secure our border, plan.
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's not one thing by itself out there isolated. They're
- 31:21Speaker 1: not telling you that. So I will listen to Trump
- 31:24Speaker 1: in his own words.
- 31:25Speaker 8: Part of my plan to secure the border on day one.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Did you hear that? Part of my plan to secure
- 31:31Speaker 1: the border on day one? Did the media tell you that? No,
- 31:34Speaker 1: they just come out. They're like, the courts are gonna
- 31:36Speaker 1: stop him. He can't do this. He's wrong. He's a lunatic,
- 31:39Speaker 1: he's xenophobic, he's a racist, he's a bigot. No, they
- 31:43Speaker 1: take it out of context, of course, because he says
- 31:45Speaker 1: part of my plan day one is secure a border, right,
- 31:48Speaker 1: part of our plan. And if you missed it, if
- 31:49Speaker 1: you don't believe it, here it is again.
- 31:51Speaker 8: It's part of my plan to secure the border.
- 31:53Speaker 9: On day one my new term in office, I will
- 31:56Speaker 9: sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that,
- 32:00Speaker 9: under the correct interpretation of the law going forward, the
- 32:05Speaker 9: future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic US citizenship.
- 32:10Speaker 9: It's things like this that bring millions of people to
- 32:13Speaker 9: our country, and they enter our country illegally. My policy
- 32:19Speaker 9: will choke off a major incentive for continued illegal immigration,
- 32:24Speaker 9: deter more migrants from coming and encourage many of the
- 32:27Speaker 9: aliens Joe Biden is unlawfully led into our country to
- 32:32Speaker 9: go back to their home countries.
- 32:34Speaker 8: They must go back.
- 32:36Speaker 9: Nobody could afford this, nobody could do this, and even morally,
- 32:40Speaker 9: it's so wrong. My order will also end their unfair
- 32:43Speaker 9: practice known as birth tourism, where hundreds of thousands of
- 32:47Speaker 9: people from all over the planet squad and hotels for
- 32:51Speaker 9: there last few weeks at pregnancy.
- 32:54Speaker 8: To illegitimately and illegally obtain you a.
- 32:57Speaker 9: Citizenship for the child of to later exploit chain migration
- 33:03Speaker 9: to jump the line and get green cards for themselves
- 33:06Speaker 9: and their family members. It's a practice that's so horrible
- 33:12Speaker 9: and so egregious, but we let it go forward. At
- 33:15Speaker 9: least one parent will have to be a citizen or
- 33:18Speaker 9: a legal resident in order to qualify. We will secure
- 33:21Speaker 9: our borders and we will restore or sovereignty. Starting on
- 33:25Speaker 9: day one, our country will be great again. Our country
- 33:29Speaker 9: will be a country again. We'll have borders, we'll have
- 33:32Speaker 9: proper education, and we'll put America first.
- 33:36Speaker 1: If you put it in contact sounds pretty reasonable to me,
- 33:40Speaker 1: and I think there's a hell of a lot of
- 33:42Speaker 1: voters that are going to agree with me on that one.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Don't forget to share this podcast or your family and friends.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Please write us a five star review if you would.
