- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming buck bus things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good stet, don't join. You gotta use that turn. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: got a turn to turn them out. Turn got the
- 1:44Speaker 1: turnout to turn turn the water the water. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your bad uh huh, I shall well o good Martyn.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everybody you are listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yeah man, got one. Hey. You know, um, I thought
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think of my life in terms of blessings. You know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I take mostly a positive approach and a positive spin
- 2:23Speaker 1: to my life. I hardly ever dwell on you know,
- 2:27Speaker 1: the what's well. I can't say that I don't think
- 2:30Speaker 1: about the what's wrong in it because I have to,
- 2:32Speaker 1: because I have to address problems as they arise. But
- 2:36Speaker 1: I try not to let them consume me. I let
- 2:40Speaker 1: the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive things
- 2:45Speaker 1: that has occurred in my life, the good things that
- 2:47Speaker 1: God has done for me, the power that He's displayed
- 2:52Speaker 1: in my life, the protection He's given me over the
- 2:55Speaker 1: years to being tucked under his wings. I focus on
- 2:58Speaker 1: the things that he promises me. I think of all
- 3:02Speaker 1: all the goodness that I perceived to come my way.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I think that has a lot to do with me
- 3:08Speaker 1: learning more and more about the law of attraction in
- 3:11Speaker 1: terms of you know, what you think and what you
- 3:14Speaker 1: put out into space, and what you pray about is
- 3:17Speaker 1: what you receive. You know, and so I've become better
- 3:20Speaker 1: and better at that. It's not to say that I'm
- 3:23Speaker 1: I'm not human and I don't have moments where I
- 3:27Speaker 1: think a little bit too long about what's going wrong
- 3:30Speaker 1: and what enemy is about to attack and what they're
- 3:33Speaker 1: going to do and saying and all of this his
- 3:35Speaker 1: That's not to con say that I'm not concerned about it,
- 3:38Speaker 1: but I try to duel mostly on the positive. And
- 3:42Speaker 1: one of the things that I learned, you can have
- 3:45Speaker 1: an incredible life, all of us. We can have incredible
- 3:49Speaker 1: lives if we just let God drive. See. The problem
- 3:54Speaker 1: that I had years ago was I was the driver
- 3:59Speaker 1: of my life, and I was taking myself into directions
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I thought would be best for me, and I
- 4:06Speaker 1: aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish, and
- 4:10Speaker 1: I set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I was driving when I gave up and I let
- 4:19Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:24Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, for what God
- 4:28Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:32Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:37Speaker 1: he wanted for me, and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:41Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:46Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:49Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 1: be nearly as demanding and a offsetting as you think
- 5:01Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:04Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:10Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:12Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:15Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:18Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man because See,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:27Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:30Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:32Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:35Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:40Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:43Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:45Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:49Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:52Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:54Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:58Speaker 1: totally differently and started coming to me totally differently. If
- 6:03Speaker 1: you've been a friend of mine or a fan of
- 6:05Speaker 1: mine over the years, I mean, you've had to see it,
- 6:09Speaker 1: the change. You've had to see the difference. I mean,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and I acknowledge that every chance I get, because I
- 6:16Speaker 1: promise God I would, and I hope that I'm not
- 6:19Speaker 1: falling short in that category. But then again, if I
- 6:22Speaker 1: told it all day long, would he done for me?
- 6:25Speaker 1: I still wouldn't have enough time to really explain thoroughly
- 6:29Speaker 1: what He's done for me, because it's such a continuous
- 6:32Speaker 1: growth in me. But now that's not to say that
- 6:35Speaker 1: I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete, because I'm
- 6:40Speaker 1: still shocked. You can't be him. You can strive for perfection.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I hear people saying it all the time. I applaud
- 6:47Speaker 1: you for saying you want to be perfect, but you
- 6:48Speaker 1: ain't and you can't. So you quit saying it. You
- 6:52Speaker 1: quit saying it to me, quit saying it to other people.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm seeking a life of perfection, but it's something that
- 6:59Speaker 1: you cannot have because he said you can't do it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But that's what he'd have for. He'd ask for the
- 7:04Speaker 1: moments when you stumble and you fall, and you gonna
- 7:06Speaker 1: stumble and fall. See, you got to get that part right.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Man to stumbling falling part is coming. But see, you
- 7:13Speaker 1: get God in your life and it helps you so
- 7:15Speaker 1: that you don't stumble, fall, wallow, roll over, laid air, languish.
- 7:20Speaker 1: That's what God is for. So when you stumbling, fall,
- 7:24Speaker 1: you get back up. Because you're going to make mistakes,
- 7:28Speaker 1: You're going to get it wrong, You're going to come
- 7:31Speaker 1: under attack, You're going to be lied about, you are
- 7:34Speaker 1: going to be falsely accused. That's going to happen to
- 7:38Speaker 1: you the moment you make a decision to do better
- 7:41Speaker 1: the moment you try to be more. The devil got
- 7:44Speaker 1: to send his attackers, man, and he controls certain people.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He just got people as on his side twenty four seven.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know him too. You've all met one or two
- 7:54Speaker 1: of me in your life. They're just busy with the
- 7:57Speaker 1: business of nothingness. They just busy about to do about
- 8:01Speaker 1: the destruction of others. You said, I know him, you
- 8:04Speaker 1: know him. They coming. But here's what you got to
- 8:07Speaker 1: hold fast too. They can't take away nothing from you
- 8:12Speaker 1: that God gave you. They didn't make you. See, people
- 8:15Speaker 1: who claim to have made you, if they're so in
- 8:19Speaker 1: to make you business, why don't they make theyselves? Or
- 8:23Speaker 1: if they ain't with you no more, and they're so
- 8:25Speaker 1: busy in them I made you business, why don't they
- 8:28Speaker 1: make somebody else? Since since you want to get credit
- 8:31Speaker 1: from making somebody make yourself, if you're responsible for someone
- 8:37Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 8:40Speaker 1: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
- 8:44Speaker 1: careful of that, and don't and don't don't change your
- 8:47Speaker 1: course because somebody is attacking you with that. I just
- 8:51Speaker 1: hope man, that I'm giving it to God the way
- 8:53Speaker 1: I said I would give it to him, that I
- 8:55Speaker 1: would unload every chance I got that I was supposed
- 8:58Speaker 1: to without being you know, or here he come again?
- 9:01Speaker 1: You know. I try not to be that, but man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I don't know what else to be for the first
- 9:05Speaker 1: twelve minutes of my show? What else you want me
- 9:07Speaker 1: to say? I got four hours. I can't give God
- 9:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve minutes, man, I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I mean, let's look at this right here. If you're
- 9:16Speaker 1: give an honor to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog,
- 9:20Speaker 1: he gave you twenty four hours of luxury in life
- 9:24Speaker 1: and breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve
- 9:27Speaker 1: minutes to give him out the day. That don't make
- 9:29Speaker 1: no sense. What an exchange, What a wonderful life God
- 9:33Speaker 1: has given me in exchange for so small of effort
- 9:36Speaker 1: that I put forth. Don't let the effort you got
- 9:39Speaker 1: to put forth to God seems so dawning that you
- 9:41Speaker 1: don't attempt to do it, because man, it seems like
- 9:43Speaker 1: a lot. It ain't nothing to compare to what he'd
- 9:46Speaker 1: be given us for real. So if you want a
- 9:48Speaker 1: real life, you want a real shot at what you
- 9:50Speaker 1: can be, what you can have, what you can own,
- 9:51Speaker 1: what you can become who you really are. Go to God,
- 9:55Speaker 1: let him fix you. Man. That's all you're listening show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Everybody around the world. You are listening I A Me
- 10:07Speaker 1: Morning Show, high on you, and now we are listening
- 10:11Speaker 1: to the Steve Harmy Morning Show. Yeah, yeah, we go.

- 10:22Speaker 1: with the lady. Yeah, make the show real. Bravey' dude
- 10:28Speaker 1: to know, ain't with the beginning of the show. She's
- 10:33Speaker 1: the one with the boys. She the lady's choice. I'm

- 11:08Speaker 1: white folk. I come back, tell us what we don't run?
- 11:12Speaker 1: Make the dollar. I'm talking about collar make a dollar.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I ain't talking about collar running down, running down, running down,

- 11:29Speaker 1: starting to do it. I about to introduce him to it. Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 1: By about the Houston fifth Wall didn't know he didn't
- 11:38Speaker 1: have the right com I got and moved up in
- 11:42Speaker 1: the world, dressed enough for all the little girl. Hey hey,
- 11:46Speaker 1: got a suit on every day. He hacking. He like
- 11:49Speaker 1: the money he made. The man he won't ruin. Yea,
- 11:53Speaker 1: you know I'm talking about Julia. Yeah, Julia, Julia. Think
- 12:03Speaker 1: it does Julia, Julia, running down, running down, running downstair

- 12:26Speaker 1: actually cooking. We let him come on this show. I
- 12:31Speaker 1: ain't been silence no more. Everybody think that he owned
- 12:35Speaker 1: a round. I everybody know that he from the ground half.
- 12:39Speaker 1: But I'm talking about my main man. I hain't named day.

- 13:08Speaker 1: it failed when he was a baby. Somebody maybe I
- 13:12Speaker 1: don't know, Huh, stupid as ain't want to be. I
- 13:15Speaker 1: think he is. He ain't got a princes what we
- 13:18Speaker 1: call him. I think stupid ass. He can't be. I
- 13:22Speaker 1: think he's hid the ham that everybody talking about. Time
- 13:29Speaker 1: to h Tom, Tim, ladies and gentleman. That's to Steve
- 13:36Speaker 1: Harvey more than make a song out of anything. You're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve. According to
- 13:48Speaker 1: a new survey, holiday dinners and summer vacations rank high
- 13:53Speaker 1: on the list of people's most vivid memories of their childhood.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, and you have You're You're
- 13:59Speaker 1: one of the greatest storytellers I've ever known. What do
- 14:02Speaker 1: you remember most most about your childhood? My damn bike?
- 14:09Speaker 1: I was not ready for that. I wasn't What about
- 14:12Speaker 1: your bike? My damn bike man? I love my bike man.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I got a brand new bike h with the butterfly handleballs,
- 14:22Speaker 1: three speed shifter, banana seat, put a sissy pole on it,
- 14:29Speaker 1: with the raccoon tail, and I had two raccoon purple
- 14:34Speaker 1: It had two raccoon streamers instead of them little you know,
- 14:38Speaker 1: the little punk ass streamers that come out there that
- 14:40Speaker 1: you put in the handleball on the tip. Yeah, you
- 14:43Speaker 1: know a little little paper thing, plastic thing, rap my
- 14:47Speaker 1: my head. Raccoon tails on that too, Okay, yeah, whate
- 14:53Speaker 1: that's my dad, that's my first. That's my card thought Dopper,
- 15:01Speaker 1: Rideo Girls Household nine. I graduated. I got me a
- 15:04Speaker 1: twenty six inch English Racer one time from May Ump
- 15:07Speaker 1: to head on sale for eighty nine. I saved my
- 15:09Speaker 1: money for about eight months, saved up that eighty nine
- 15:13Speaker 1: dollars off my job, bought that damn bike. Then I
- 15:15Speaker 1: wrote that bike every day from high school to work.
- 15:18Speaker 1: That bike man mold to me. Yeah, I worked. I
- 15:21Speaker 1: got a high school every day. At twelve thirty, I
- 15:23Speaker 1: was through. Oh yeah, that's why I was voted most difficult.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I ain't like nobody had money him nobody. Yeah, like
- 15:31Speaker 1: you just why didn't you ran a program though that
- 15:34Speaker 1: you could leave at twelve thirty? Yeah? I had all
- 15:37Speaker 1: my credits right, Okay, I had my credit. Yeah. I
- 15:40Speaker 1: wasn't smart. I'm going to work. Oh want money? Yeah?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Oh I wouldn't want no high as GP. I just
- 15:47Speaker 1: at GP. I just had them all. I was through.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You know, I student, What was your first first jot?
- 15:55Speaker 1: I was paper rode, working with my daddy. But wasn't
- 15:58Speaker 1: a really paper rider was I was running almost for
- 16:00Speaker 1: him and don Key oh yeah yeah, And so we
- 16:04Speaker 1: ran numbers. So I delivered the paper, but every morning
- 16:06Speaker 1: I had to go to people's number boxes. Whoever they
- 16:10Speaker 1: had their money head for the numbers that they was
- 16:12Speaker 1: playing that day. Some people had the money behind the
- 16:14Speaker 1: mail box. That's like yeah, yeah, man, he controlled the
- 16:20Speaker 1: number record in Cleveland. My daddy was one of the runners.
- 16:24Speaker 1: But that's like the lottery, right, was that this is
- 16:28Speaker 1: this is why you have the lottery. The lottery came
- 16:31Speaker 1: from the numbers. They stole all that from the hood grandfather. Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Black people started that in Harlem and so you know,
- 16:41Speaker 1: that's how that was. My first job was paper route
- 16:43Speaker 1: to deliver the papers. But it was a cover because
- 16:46Speaker 1: I had to go in the backyard. Like some people
- 16:49Speaker 1: tap their money under their bumper outside so you wouldn't
- 16:53Speaker 1: had come up. Some people had their money taped under
- 16:56Speaker 1: the step. Some people here the envelope behind the mail box.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Some people threw it down in the rolls bushes. Well
- 17:04Speaker 1: what what kind of money? Well, the way my daddy
- 17:07Speaker 1: worked was if anybody hit, he got ten percent of
- 17:10Speaker 1: they hit. So if they hit for sixty dollars. He
- 17:13Speaker 1: made six if somebody hit for six hundred, because if
- 17:16Speaker 1: you bet a dollar, it was six. It was it
- 17:18Speaker 1: was a it was if you better dollar, you could
- 17:22Speaker 1: win six hundred. If you bet a dime you could
- 17:26Speaker 1: win sixty dollars wow. Or you could bet a penny
- 17:30Speaker 1: and one six dollars. That's why they call him penny numbers.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And the Italians used to laugh at the Blacks until
- 17:38Speaker 1: they found out what bumping them up there in New
- 17:40Speaker 1: York was making. They was making millions off and penny wow.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So that was my first job. Then I had a
- 17:46Speaker 1: I did that until I was turned thirteen and I
- 17:50Speaker 1: could get a snick summer job summer youth yea some
- 17:56Speaker 1: some summer youth, none in community something and called it snick,
- 18:02Speaker 1: And I got that job. Yeah. Yeah, go to park
- 18:07Speaker 1: pick up paper. I wasn't picking up a damn thing though.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I was in Paul shooting hoop. So you got fired. Now,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I ain't get fired. Everybody else shooting me. He was working, Yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I was like, we was all shooting. I wasn't over
- 18:21Speaker 1: there throwing it up by myself. But I mean, I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 1: but we was working. We're paying some buildings and stuff
- 18:27Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Then after that, man, I got
- 18:30Speaker 1: me a job at the grocery store during school, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: then on summer vacations. I could work with my father
- 18:38Speaker 1: every summer since I was in tenth grade from eleven
- 18:41Speaker 1: to twelve, and then summers earlier before that, my summers
- 18:46Speaker 1: I was off, I went back to the farm to
- 18:48Speaker 1: work my farm with my grandfather and my uncle. Okay, yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 1: full life, man. Yeah, that's why my memoirs, if they
- 18:57Speaker 1: didn't gain Michelle Obama sixty million. Oh, I got some
- 19:03Speaker 1: for y'all. But you've written, like what, four books? Three books?
- 19:07Speaker 1: He ain't got sixty million all four together. I'm gonna
- 19:13Speaker 1: keep it one hundred. But you she just old ten
- 19:16Speaker 1: million copies. I ain't told ten million. But all I
- 19:18Speaker 1: got four books out? Ain't so well? You better call
- 19:21Speaker 1: Random House. If you were to write another book, what
- 19:24Speaker 1: would you call it? Is thirty meal Tales at All.
- 19:28Speaker 1: That's the title. Yeah, it better be juicy, that's all
- 19:35Speaker 1: for thirty minutes for thirty meal. I got it for you, Okay,
- 19:39Speaker 1: surely I ain't lying. I got it from you. Ertlesman's
- 19:43Speaker 1: Penguin Random House Division. Tell them to call Steve Halls.
- 19:50Speaker 1: I'm talking about man, I got some stuff that throw
- 19:52Speaker 1: y'all asser in the shock. If I thought you told
- 19:55Speaker 1: us everything, Hey, no, it's the most of the week,
- 19:59Speaker 1: ain't y'all got to be crazy? Y'all can't know this
- 20:02Speaker 1: kind of stuff about me, Steve. I've been with you
- 20:04Speaker 1: for years. I've heard a lot. I ain't told you
- 20:07Speaker 1: none of the really bad though, because I wanted you
- 20:09Speaker 1: to like what No. I wanted you to like Wait,
- 20:12Speaker 1: there's more, y'all wanted you to like Michelle. I ain't
- 20:15Speaker 1: want you to hear hell back. Hell yeah, I had
- 20:19Speaker 1: too because you know I first met Shelley. She had
- 20:21Speaker 1: the man for a pulse. I got to do with it.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I can't look crazy whatever. I didn't give a damn.
- 20:32Speaker 1: She's trying to play me, but she don't know. I
- 20:34Speaker 1: don't know. I always do. Like my daddy say, what
- 20:37Speaker 1: was that? Well, you know I forgot. I'm gonna clean
- 20:40Speaker 1: it up with His phrase was don't ever do do
- 20:42Speaker 1: where you eat? Oh yeah, yeah? So all right, we
- 20:46Speaker 1: gotta go. Coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steven Show. Nephew Tommy
- 20:56Speaker 1: is here, we'd run that brank back. What you got
- 20:58Speaker 1: for us, now, Dumb it down, Dumb it down. I'm
- 21:05Speaker 1: talking to this lady. We're about to give a call
- 21:06Speaker 1: and let her know that her daughter cannot go on
- 21:09Speaker 1: spring break with the rest of the kids because her
- 21:11Speaker 1: grays are not up to Paul and you're gonna have
- 21:13Speaker 1: to bring it all into the school that entire week.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That's right, dumb it down. Running Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 21:22Speaker 1: to reach Kusha, please speaking. Who is this all right? Kusha?
- 21:27Speaker 1: This is uh mister Roland Barn assistant principal here at
- 21:32Speaker 1: academy or your daughter? Aisha goes, yes, what's going on?
- 21:37Speaker 1: Is everything okay? Everything is trying to uh well, let
- 21:40Speaker 1: me be honest. It's not good right now. I wanted
- 21:44Speaker 1: to call and actually have a private conversation with you
- 21:48Speaker 1: about Aisha. Oh good, all right, tell me what's going on?
- 21:53Speaker 1: What's going on? Ayisha? Well, as you know, um, spring
- 21:57Speaker 1: break is gonna be coming up in March. You do
- 22:00Speaker 1: that right, Yeah, I'm aware of that. He's looking. Yeah. Well,
- 22:05Speaker 1: we have a bit of an issue here. I have
- 22:08Speaker 1: done some research and I used it doesn't seem to
- 22:11Speaker 1: be doing well as she should be living up to
- 22:14Speaker 1: the expectations of the academy. And what we're gonna have
- 22:17Speaker 1: to do this spring break is I used to will
- 22:21Speaker 1: not be allowed to take a spring break with the
- 22:23Speaker 1: rest of the kids. We're gonna need her to come
- 22:25Speaker 1: into school. And there's several kids that are not going
- 22:29Speaker 1: to be able to go on spring break, and I
- 22:31Speaker 1: used to happen to be one of them. There's at
- 22:33Speaker 1: least forty to fifty kids that will be coming to
- 22:36Speaker 1: school that entire week that spring break is the most
- 22:39Speaker 1: of the kids are out on spring break. You have
- 22:42Speaker 1: to be mistaken. I mean, my daughter is a straight
- 22:44Speaker 1: age student. She is actually the only I used at
- 22:51Speaker 1: the academy man, and I you know, I've looked at
- 22:55Speaker 1: her her grades in the past. She's had some great,
- 22:57Speaker 1: so wonderful grades in the past. I don't know what's
- 23:00Speaker 1: taking place this semester um that she just seems to
- 23:06Speaker 1: have drop the ball. And what we want to do is,
- 23:09Speaker 1: you know, keep these kids focused. As you know, you
- 23:11Speaker 1: have to be accepted to be here at this particular school.
- 23:15Speaker 1: So you know, it leaves me no no other outlet
- 23:18Speaker 1: but to have her come in. And we're gonna buckle
- 23:22Speaker 1: down and try to get them back on track. So
- 23:24Speaker 1: I wanted to personally give you a call and let
- 23:26Speaker 1: you know what's going low in I easta here at
- 23:28Speaker 1: the academy, and we're what's this terrible? This is absolutely terrible.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I mean, we are here already in January and I'm
- 23:35Speaker 1: getting a call that my daughter is not doing good,
- 23:37Speaker 1: and now you're gonna tell me that she can't go
- 23:39Speaker 1: on a spring break trip in March if she I mean,
- 23:42Speaker 1: as far as I'm just saying, my daughter straight, as
- 23:44Speaker 1: straight as, she's an amazing student, she does really hard work.
- 23:48Speaker 1: She always afford to going to school. And I get
- 23:50Speaker 1: a call today that she can't go in March. Well,
- 23:53Speaker 1: I mean, you gotta be kidding me. I mean, we're
- 23:55Speaker 1: I don't. Are you going somewhere in March, ma'am? I don't.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm you're saying going somewhere our trip? Or are you?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Are you scheduling? I'm not going and she's going on
- 24:03Speaker 1: a trip. I'm giving her full permission to go on
- 24:05Speaker 1: a trip. Okay, Well, unfortunately I'm requesting that she's at school.
- 24:11Speaker 1: So I don't know if your trip costs you a
- 24:15Speaker 1: lot of money, or if you can get a refund,
- 24:17Speaker 1: but I'm calling you letting you know I need her
- 24:20Speaker 1: there on March eleventh in the classroom so we can
- 24:24Speaker 1: buckle down and try to get her back on track. No,
- 24:26Speaker 1: what I'm telling you, I paid for the trip, and
- 24:28Speaker 1: she's going on the trip. I'm sorry. And then I
- 24:32Speaker 1: call because it's so late in the game. I'm sorry,
- 24:34Speaker 1: she's going on a trip. No, she's not going on
- 24:37Speaker 1: the trip. She's actually gonna be coming into school and
- 24:40Speaker 1: she'll be on March eleventh, from Monday to Friday. Now,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I don't know who you're talking to. That's my child,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I'm telling you. But she's your child, But she's my student.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And right now, all of my students are gonna be
- 24:54Speaker 1: that are that are not doing well in their in
- 24:55Speaker 1: their classes, are gonna be there during spring break and
- 24:59Speaker 1: the gonna get their business together. What are you will
- 25:02Speaker 1: telling me like you're reprimanding me, like I'm a child. Okay,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I'm telling me she's going No, she's not going on
- 25:10Speaker 1: a trip, and you're telling me what You're trying to
- 25:12Speaker 1: overrune my position, and that's what's not gonna happen. She
- 25:16Speaker 1: has to be there. You might as well, start looking
- 25:18Speaker 1: for a refund because she's not gonna not be there,
- 25:22Speaker 1: so I didn't need her there Monday through radio swing
- 25:25Speaker 1: break so we can get her back on course. Listen,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I don't know do you think you're talking to I
- 25:31Speaker 1: have the ultimate position over even you. That's my daughter.
- 25:35Speaker 1: That's my daughter. I get to tell you what I'm
- 25:38Speaker 1: doing her. She's going on that trip. You're out of here.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Happens out not sending my daughter on the trip. Sorry,
- 25:45Speaker 1: not happening. I'm telling you right now, she's not going
- 25:49Speaker 1: on a trip. Is almost she's not. I'm gonna seek
- 25:54Speaker 1: when I used to tomorrow and let her know where
- 25:57Speaker 1: You're not gonna tell my daughter damn thing. I'm telling
- 26:00Speaker 1: her she's not going on a spring break trip. You
- 26:03Speaker 1: know why because of grades. They're not up to bar.
- 26:06Speaker 1: She needs to be more concerned about her grate and
- 26:08Speaker 1: not going and hanging out. You're a lot of gagging around.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Where are you're sending her? No, it's not happening. I
- 26:14Speaker 1: don want all of my students with passing grades, and
- 26:17Speaker 1: I'm a one hundred assistant principal and all my kids past.
- 26:22Speaker 1: What are you trying to convince yourself that you're important
- 26:24Speaker 1: is I'm thinking me a break. He's like a baby.
- 26:26Speaker 1: My daughter is going on the trip, and that's finally
- 26:28Speaker 1: hear me. Okay, you know what I'll speak when I
- 26:30Speaker 1: used it to mom on No, you're not Denis. I
- 26:33Speaker 1: will now here's the deal. I'll leave you this this Kisha.
- 26:37Speaker 1: If I used it does not show up Unday through
- 26:40Speaker 1: for a spring break, then maybe you're gonna have to

- 26:47Speaker 1: you're threatening me. You're threatening to kick my daughter out
- 26:50Speaker 1: of school because of the spring break. If your daughter's
- 26:53Speaker 1: not here doing springbreak Monday through Friday, then she's get
- 26:57Speaker 1: out of here again. Please, I like to do you

- 45:40Speaker 1: recommend it? Uh, somebody put you gave us your name
- 45:44Speaker 1: that you might be interested in doing some work. We
- 45:46Speaker 1: actually have a contract with the government and uh we
- 45:51Speaker 1: at this point don't have enough manpower, and um, we're
- 45:54Speaker 1: looking for for people that want to work. So this
- 45:57Speaker 1: this bill is actually gonna probably start probably mid March,
- 46:01Speaker 1: beginning to meet March. And this this is gonna be
- 46:04Speaker 1: a three to four year job. So if you're looking
- 46:07Speaker 1: for some employment, we've got you. This job is gonna
- 46:11Speaker 1: pay forty forty five dollars an hour. You're gonna work
- 46:14Speaker 1: twelve hours shifts and at least six hours a day,
- 46:17Speaker 1: and it's all construction. So from my understanding, you've done
- 46:21Speaker 1: quite a bit of construction of that, right. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:24Speaker 1: that's that. That is correct, sir. I've been working in
- 46:27Speaker 1: construction for the past like twelve years now, so yeah,
- 46:30Speaker 1: that's great, Thank you, thank you. Yeah you used to
- 46:35Speaker 1: are you used to um work with Conning Free quite
- 46:37Speaker 1: a bit. Yeah, yeah, no, I do everything you know,
- 46:41Speaker 1: and you didn't had to do with construction. Army men.
- 46:44Speaker 1: We deal. I mean, we want, we definitely want you
- 46:47Speaker 1: to come in and we want to get you a
- 46:48Speaker 1: physical Uh make sure you're you're you know, in good
- 46:52Speaker 1: shapety to actually be a part of the company. We
- 46:55Speaker 1: want to make sure you're you're all fitting ready to
- 46:58Speaker 1: go from March. So is it you think this would
- 47:01Speaker 1: be something you'd like to do. Yeah, this is this
- 47:03Speaker 1: is amazing. So what type of practices this is? Um?
- 47:06Speaker 1: Like I said, we're all wall workers recruitment. I'm actually
- 47:10Speaker 1: spearheading it. We got to deal with the government, so
- 47:12Speaker 1: we're as soon as we get a green light. We
- 47:14Speaker 1: just got to make sure we got enough fan power
- 47:16Speaker 1: and we're looking forward. Just say wall wall workers recruitment,
- 47:21Speaker 1: wall workers, quite correct, like building the wall, building the wall,
- 47:27Speaker 1: building the wall at the at the borders exactly. And
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, I'm I'm gonna have to pack on this.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I mean I need to work. I mean, is there
- 47:37Speaker 1: is there is there a problem, hobby, Yeah, there's a problem.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I mean a Mexican American man, I got a family
- 47:44Speaker 1: that lives over than Mexico, got family the l is
- 47:46Speaker 1: over here, you know, in the States. Like I don't.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I don't want to be a part of that. I
- 47:52Speaker 1: don't want to be a part of anything that Trump
- 47:53Speaker 1: packed to do with. But building some wall, are you
- 47:56Speaker 1: kidding me? You were excited when I told you we
- 47:58Speaker 1: were paying you forty five dollars an hour for twelve
- 48:00Speaker 1: hours shifts in six six, six days a week. I
- 48:03Speaker 1: mean that's pretty good money. Of course, there is great money.
- 48:07Speaker 1: But I wouldn't be a part of this. For if
- 48:09Speaker 1: you pay me a Hurney bus an hour or a
- 48:10Speaker 1: snousand bucks an hour, I mean, you know, I just
- 48:12Speaker 1: respect them to my people, my brother. I mean, it
- 48:15Speaker 1: just it ain't gonna happen. I don't want a part
- 48:17Speaker 1: of this. I didn't know. I didn't know what type
- 48:19Speaker 1: of project. It wasn't down. I mean, you must have
- 48:22Speaker 1: said it really quickly because I didn't patch what she said.
- 48:24Speaker 1: And I don't know if you're catching what I'm saying.
- 48:26Speaker 1: But I want no part of this. So you have
- 48:29Speaker 1: a problem with building a wall and we're paying you
- 48:34Speaker 1: ex amounts of dollars that's gonna put um, you know,
- 48:37Speaker 1: food on your table and take care of your family.
- 48:40Speaker 1: You got a problem with I don't give a fit
- 48:42Speaker 1: puts food on my table. I can make my money
- 48:44Speaker 1: doing looking for some other words. I ain't gonna be
- 48:47Speaker 1: a part of building some guy whoa but it's gonna
- 48:51Speaker 1: be saying what I'm saying I am what you're saying. Well,
- 48:55Speaker 1: we're doing We're going in the first place. My family
- 49:00Speaker 1: answer each land, right, do you belong to them? Before?
- 49:03Speaker 1: It wasn't the point of the UA? All right? I
- 49:06Speaker 1: mean the border is because of part of Mexico, because
- 49:11Speaker 1: of us. I mean he betrayed us Mexican Not cool?
- 49:16Speaker 1: Not cool? Okay. Questions are you calling Latinos to build
- 49:22Speaker 1: this wall or are you calling other racist? Tool? All?
- 49:25Speaker 1: I haven't. I mean, I don't know everyone's nationality, sir,
- 49:31Speaker 1: you just came. What about the last name? How about that?
- 49:34Speaker 1: So are you looking at the last name? I'm not
- 49:38Speaker 1: looking at the last names? I mean I know, uh,
- 49:41Speaker 1: I assume that you were Latino on your name is Poverty.
- 49:44Speaker 1: I got that, but you have it's Caavier. It's not Harvey.
- 49:49Speaker 1: Only my friends your family called me Harvey? All right? Okay, Um,
- 49:54Speaker 1: do you have any friends or family you Jake might
- 49:56Speaker 1: want to work the walls? Bro Yo who then too
- 50:00Speaker 1: hardy repairs fully groping when you're in a baby? Nobody
- 50:04Speaker 1: could be that dumber, stupid? All I want? How did
- 50:07Speaker 1: you see in the news? I mean, what how do
- 50:09Speaker 1: you think I was gonna say? I mean you and
- 50:13Speaker 1: everybody else. That's a part of building this wall to
- 50:15Speaker 1: the wall, all right, I mean, okay, he suspectful. You
- 50:23Speaker 1: really think that you start recruiting that your dirty work? Me?

- 50:49Speaker 1: You're better enough. Tell me my cousin signed up already. No,

- 53:28Speaker 1: on tight, We got it for you. Here it is
- 53:30Speaker 1: strawberry letter, all right. Subject seems like he's been waiting
- 53:33Speaker 1: for me to leave. First. Here Stephen Shirley, My husband
- 53:36Speaker 1: and I are now fifty years old. We have five
- 53:39Speaker 1: grown sons and four grandchildren. Ten years ago, my husband
- 53:43Speaker 1: had a fling at work and the female was barely
- 53:46Speaker 1: twenty years old at the time. I was devastated, but
- 53:50Speaker 1: he swore nothing physical happened. The whole situation didn't sit
- 53:53Speaker 1: well with me, so one day last week I checked
- 53:56Speaker 1: my husband's old phone for any proof I could find.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I found messages between my husband and the girl that
- 54:02Speaker 1: he had to flaing with, and she was thanking him
- 54:04Speaker 1: for all he was doing for her financially and praising
- 54:07Speaker 1: him for his sexual prowess. I was hurt and relieved
- 54:12Speaker 1: at the same time. All of the heartache came back,
- 54:15Speaker 1: and I felt stupid for believing his lies. But I
- 54:18Speaker 1: was glad that the truth finally came out. Now I
- 54:21Speaker 1: know why he made all of the random bank withdrawals
- 54:25Speaker 1: and had strange purchases on his credit cards. So I
- 54:28Speaker 1: told him that I had all of the proof that
- 54:30Speaker 1: I needed, and I asked him for a divorce. He
- 54:33Speaker 1: did not put up a fight. In fact, he did
- 54:36Speaker 1: not seem concerned at all. I have loved this man
- 54:39Speaker 1: since I was eighteen years old, and just like that,
- 54:43Speaker 1: he was ready to end our marriage. I should add
- 54:46Speaker 1: that we haven't had sex since twenty fifteen, and he
- 54:50Speaker 1: always says it's not me, it's him, and that I'm
- 54:53Speaker 1: still as fine as the day he married me. I'm
- 54:56Speaker 1: no fool. Though. If I wasn't enough for him, why
- 54:59Speaker 1: didn't he just let me go? I am feeling like
- 55:02Speaker 1: he only stayed with me all of these years for
- 55:04Speaker 1: the sake of the kids. I am still in good
- 55:07Speaker 1: shape and good health. My black has not cracked, so
- 55:11Speaker 1: I'm sure I could get me somebody else too. Should
- 55:14Speaker 1: I fight for my marriage or let it go? Please advise?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Should you fight for your marriage or let it go?
- 55:22Speaker 1: To that? I ask? What marriage? Okay? No sex for
- 55:27Speaker 1: three years, text messages and payout to another woman, lies
- 55:32Speaker 1: upon lies upon lies, and the ultimate slap in the face.
- 55:35Speaker 1: He didn't even put up any kind of fight to
- 55:38Speaker 1: keep you. That's why I say what marriage? This was
- 55:42Speaker 1: a relationship of convenience and of tolerance. All right, this
- 55:46Speaker 1: thing that you had, you guys had going on, this
- 55:49Speaker 1: situation has been over for a very long time. He
- 55:52Speaker 1: was just waiting for you to say it first. Like
- 55:54Speaker 1: you said in the subject, seems like he's been waiting
- 55:58Speaker 1: for me to leave first. He's waiting for you to
- 56:00Speaker 1: say it first so he wouldn't be the bad guy.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Now he can tell the kids it was you. You
- 56:05Speaker 1: asked for the divorce. You wanted the divorce. Well you
- 56:09Speaker 1: did say you're glad the truth came out. The truth
- 56:12Speaker 1: is out. I would tell you to fight for your marriage,
- 56:15Speaker 1: but I don't see anything left here, do you really,
- 56:19Speaker 1: Steve Well, seemed like he'd been waiting on me to
- 56:25Speaker 1: leave first. Okay, let's just take it from then. Let's
- 56:29Speaker 1: find out why you're and your husband fifty five grown
- 56:34Speaker 1: sons for grandkids. Ten years ago, see listen to this.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Ten years ago, my husband had a fling at work
- 56:45Speaker 1: and the female was barely twenty years old at the time.
- 56:49Speaker 1: I was devastated, but he swore nothing physical happen. The
- 56:54Speaker 1: whole situation didn't sit well with me. So one day
- 56:57Speaker 1: last week, last week, I checked my husband's old phone
- 57:04Speaker 1: for any proof that I could. Fine. Wait a minute,
- 57:10Speaker 1: your husband had an affair ten years ago. Ten years ago,
- 57:17Speaker 1: You go back. He told you nothing physical happened. You
- 57:20Speaker 1: go back and find his old phone last week. You
- 57:25Speaker 1: took ten years to go through the phone. You find
- 57:29Speaker 1: it last week, and I found messages between my husband
- 57:35Speaker 1: and the girl that he had a fleeing with. This
- 57:38Speaker 1: female was barely twenty years old, but it was ten
- 57:41Speaker 1: years ago, so he was far that she was twenty,
- 57:44Speaker 1: thanking him for all he was doing for her financially,
- 57:47Speaker 1: praising him for his sexual problems. I was hurt and
- 57:50Speaker 1: relieved at the same time. All the headache came. Heartache
- 57:54Speaker 1: came back. You opened up this casket with a ten
- 57:58Speaker 1: year old body in it. You ain't thinking it was
- 58:00Speaker 1: gonna stay. Say that again. You opened up a casket
- 58:05Speaker 1: with a twenty ten year old body in it, and
- 58:08Speaker 1: you didn't think it was gonna stink? What okay, lady?
- 58:14Speaker 1: What all the heart it came back, and I felt
- 58:18Speaker 1: stupid for believing his lies. Jesus, what he couldn't if
- 58:23Speaker 1: he'd told you the truth back then. Guess what where
- 58:26Speaker 1: we had right now was where we would have been
- 58:28Speaker 1: ten years ago. He was trying to salvage it then,
- 58:32Speaker 1: but I was glad that the truth finally came out.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You're crazy, naw. I know why he made all the
- 58:38Speaker 1: random banquet draws and had strange purchase on his credit card.
- 58:41Speaker 1: So I told him I had all the proof I needed,
- 58:44Speaker 1: and I asked him for disroars. He didn't put up
- 58:47Speaker 1: a fight. In fact, he ain't seen concerned at all.
- 58:50Speaker 1: He would probably relieve. I mean, really, don't you go
- 58:54Speaker 1: back and get an old phone that's ten years old?
- 58:58Speaker 1: And now you're leaving him for that, lady, I think
- 59:01Speaker 1: you should go. I love this man since I was eighteen,
- 59:04Speaker 1: and just like that he was ready to end our marriage.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I should add that we haven't had six since two
- 59:11Speaker 1: thousand fifteen. No, no, no, you ain't had since that's
- 59:17Speaker 1: what you ain't. What's he been doing? Steve? You take week?
- 59:22Speaker 1: You can circle week. We we ain't had six since
- 59:26Speaker 1: two fifteen. That w flip that up me meet meet me,
- 59:30Speaker 1: you me ain't had six in two thousand fifteen. I
- 59:34Speaker 1: promise you his ass. All right, we'll have part two.
- 59:38Speaker 1: We're gonna dress this part right here. I'm still as
- 59:41Speaker 1: fine as the day as he married me. We'll have
- 59:46Speaker 1: more at twenty three after with part two of Steve's
- 59:51Speaker 1: response to the letter today, the subject seems like he's
- 59:54Speaker 1: been waiting for me to leave first. Twenty three afters
- 59:58Speaker 1: when we'll be back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject seems like
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: he's been waiting for me to leave. First. A couple
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: of fifty years old, five grounds, so it's for grand kids.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Ten years ago, the man having a fair with a
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: lady at work. He said nothing physical happened, He just
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: covering his tracks. She was devastated, you know, but he
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: swore nothing physical happen. The whole situation didn't sit well.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: So one day last week, one day last week, she
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: opened up a casket, a ten year old casket with
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a body that's been in there for ten years. She
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: found his old phone and went back ten years and
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: found some messages that he has said, found out they
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: had been making love and that he was paying her someone.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Now you devastated. You want a divorce. You're going there,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: You asked a man. You tell him you got all
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the proof you need, you want a divorce. He put
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: up a fight. In fact, he ain't seen concerned at all,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: like I said, probably relieved. Man, I left that phone
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in that drawer. It took you ten years to finally,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: damn because who ain't through that phone away that type
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: of information? Who ain't through that phone away? He left
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: that phone there, I hope waiting on you. It took
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you ten damn years. So when you come in with
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: all the proof, he said, man, ignitten years to fund
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: this day. I left the draw left a one. I've
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: been recharging it. You've been calling it, making it harm,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: shooting him nothing. I've loved this man since I was
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: eighteen years old, And just like that, he was ready
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to end out mad. You're the one said you wanted
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: that divorce. Then when he said cool, now you look
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: at crazy. I should add that we haven't had sex
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: since two thy fifteen. Please stop saying week, please that
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: this is the line, y'all. We haven't had sex, Dad,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: You ain't had no sex. But he've been filling up
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: the trash can. I'm telling you this right now. This
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: boy been out here buck straight wild, ain't no man
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: weigh no three years for what anyway? Then she says
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: it's not Then he always says it's not me, it's him,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: and that I'm still as fine as the day he
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: married me. Now that's what you said. Let's let's say
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: this again. You fifty, y'all got five grown sons. Y'all
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: been together since you was eighteen. Y'all fifty, you still
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: find as the day he manages Hey, it could happen. Steve,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: who you know? She named the human the human name
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: all human beings that you know. Yeah, I'm just named
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: the name. Huh, she may still have. I ain't gonna problem.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: I just need a name or who you know that
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: from graduation to fifty dance as better than they was
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: for it. I just need a name better, no, as
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: still as fine? Who? I just need a name? Give

- 1:04:36Speaker 1: wore eighteen skin was smooth, man could run like a deal.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so you slowed down a bit, a bit
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: from graduation to fifty Who looked the same I left

- 1:05:04Speaker 1: one forty seven. I just kept on the scale all
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: the day. You saw the baby start crying. I'm just
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: without seventeen ain't even close because you had all your
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: curls and every d anything, and it just named the name.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: So this is a lot. That's what you want to say,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: fine as the day he was when he married you.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Then she goes on to say that I'm still in
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: good shape. That's not the same as saying you as
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: finding a couple of lines up already fell off in

- 1:15:02Speaker 1: in specials title. In a blog post, YouTube honcho Kevin
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Aloca Alaka says the comedians impromptu, socially distant show captured
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the emotions felt by many as racial injustice protests swept
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: the country. So congratulations to Joe. Yes he's so brilliant. Yes, yes,
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: he nailed that. He did. Yeah. Another huge hit on

- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Joe Biden's first presidential debate, with Alec Baldwin and Jim
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Carrey playing Trump and Joe Biden. Askit Alex, yes, and
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Jim Carrey too? Is Joe Biden? Yeah? All right, we'll

- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Tell this boy, if you break a mirror with a
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: rabbit's foot, you even ain't no bad little coming do.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: If you break a mirror with a rabbit's foot, you're
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: even You're not gonna get this seven nothing's going to
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: happen to get even believe it, believe it. You're falling out.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I don't really understand where he's coming from with that.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I don't know why he thinks like that. That right,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: there is some ignorant thinking. Ain't a rabbit luck? And
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: then the good mirrors? Bad luck? It seven years? Right?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Not if you break it with Yeah, nobody sees. Well.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: The thing about this segment is I agree with him.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Thing he can say, thank you, he'll go to one.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: He didn't even respond to. I see, if you melt
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: dry ice, you can take a bath and not get wet.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: That's that's the stupidest. I can't listen. Wait, okay, wait,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: what if you melt dry ice you can take a
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: bath and not get where? You had to keep explaining
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: it to them, but they don't understand you. No, not
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: do you guys, listen with your eyes squint. It don't
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: make okay, because I know this gonna make sense to you.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Call because right this he he hit me back with
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: a bunch of question mark. When I text this one,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I see it in Rome, the paramedics call I VS. Force.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: They forced They not I VS. They forced. You see
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying, I don't make sense to him. He
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: just gonna send me back a bunch of question mark. Don't.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: I don't get it. I don't in Rome, boys, I
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: don't get it. I don't geet like I ain't. Nothing
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: happened to you get not going to be stupid. He's
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: never not going to be That makes sense to me.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be saying something here, how come I'm
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: known to want to understand it? You don't get it
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: because see, I don't even see why you get a
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: damn about an IV. Well, you just need to know
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: what to call it. And then four O. You don't
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: want to be in wrong saying I VS. Ain't not
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: gonna know what you're talking about. If you're thinking you
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: in Rome, you need a four you need to tell
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: him that. All right, coming up, it's Steve Harvey and
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: his closing remarks. You don't want to miss it at
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: forty nine after the hour you're listening to show Steve,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: what do you have for us closing remarks wise today? Yeah,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: here's something that I think is very helpful to people,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: and it would to help you open yourself up to
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: really what God truly can have for you. And the
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: reason I'm saying that is because oftentimes we limit what
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: God can do in our lives simply by the way
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: we think and simply by our expectations. God has no
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: He's limitless. You can't put him in a box. You
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: can't put what God can do for you in the
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: parameters of your thinking. What you've got to do is
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: you've got to open up your mind so you can
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: be open to all of His goodness and what He
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: can do for you. And I'm saying that to say
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: this because a lot of times people ask God and
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: only think about stuff that they can see themselves attaining.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Basically with your check. There's a scripture that says you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: have not cause you ask not. Well, then most people go, Lord,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: help me make my rent. And then I have to
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: ask you, well, don't he always? Why would you not
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: ask God for a mortgage? Well, become a homeowner. Then
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: here comes the thinking of man when you start putting
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: in stuff like well, I don't make enough money credit score,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I haven't been on my job long enough. I can't
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: afford that. Therefore, why would I sit up and ask
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: for that? See, you're you're knocking yourself out of so
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: many blessings that God can have for you by your
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: limited thinking. Because God has no limits. So you have
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: to open up your mind, so you have to start
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: thinking of things that is in your imagination. Why would
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: you not ask God for a big house? You don't
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: think that God got enough sense? Based on this scripture,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: you have not called you ask not? Most people don't
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: ask because they don't see no way they can't get it.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: You don't think that if you ask God for a
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: big house, you don't think he got enough sense to
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: make a way for you to get the house. You
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: don't think that he knows that you need more money
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and that he know how to make a way for
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you to make more money. You don't think he got
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: that part figured out. You think he needs your health
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: that out. You don't think that he know that if
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: you got X amount of dollars, your credit score really
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: don't matter. You don't think he know that He know
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: all of that. But you've limited to see what he
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: can do and how you can move in your life
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: because you won't think big enough. That is a book
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: that changed my life. The name of the book is
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: called The Magic of Thinking Big, and it's by David Schwartz.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: It's the Magic of Thinking Big and I didn't understand
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: this until I was selling am Wade. Am Wade was
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: one of the greatest periods of my life because it
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: introduced me to all positive books. It introduced me to
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: self motivation and self help books, and those are really
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: the only books I read outside of the Bible. I
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: don't read anything I don't read novels love stories. I
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: ain't got no time for that. But the power of
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: positive thinking about Norman Vincent Peale Thinking Grow Rich by
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Napoleon Hill, The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I have time to that because the magic of thinking
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: big taught me something. It taught me that it does
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: not require any more brain power to think big than
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: it does to think small. It doesn't require anymore. You
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: ain't got the grunt look. You can say Voteswagon, or
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: you can say Rose Royce. It doesn't. Your brain don't
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: have to shift and burn most sales, and you gotta
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: throw yourself into something to say Rose Royce versus Votswagon.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: It doesn't hurt more to say rent or mortgage. It
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: doesn't hurt no more to say new card than use card.
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: It doesn't hurt more to say hand me down. Then
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: it casts such than it cost you to say brand new.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: If you buy this book The Magic of Thinking Big
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: by David Schwartz, it's an amazing way. It changed my
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: thinking in my twenties, and so I started thinking big.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Once I started thinking big, I started opening up to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: the possibilities of God. Because God is big. Am I
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: not right. God is big, so why would you get
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: in the way of his bigness with your small mindedness. See,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: you're getting in the way of your blessings by the
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: way you think. You keep thinking in terms of your paycheck.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Get God ain't in your paycheck. Get out of your paycheck, man,
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Get out of your current situations. Where you are it
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: is just temporary. God has another place for you. God
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: got a great life for you, but you got to
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: invite him in and let him show it to you.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: Quit wasting his time with this little bit of man.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Get out of your own way. You are in your
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: way with your limited thinking. People ask me all the time, man,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: why are you always at the meetings? Why are you?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Why don't you just sit out and take your day off?
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Because I can't get where I'm going sitting down taking
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: my days off. I'm about the business of becoming successful
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: and happy. Now. Am I successful? Yeah? Am I happy? Yeah?
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Happier than I ever been. But and I have everything
