- 0:15Speaker 1: the million bucks things in the stubs. Good Steve together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turn you're going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to do. You gotta turn to turn them out. You
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water got me? Come come on your baby? Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Come on, y'all. I said that a little bit wrong
- 2:14Speaker 1: this morning. But I'm tired. I just came out to
- 2:16Speaker 1: the gym. I'm a little out of sorts right now.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But it's okay. I'll pull it together. But let me
- 2:21Speaker 1: tell you something, man, I got a clear cut message
- 2:24Speaker 1: for you today. I really do you know. As I've
- 2:28Speaker 1: gotten older, I've began to take some supplements. And supplements
- 2:37Speaker 1: are to help your body in things that it doesn't
- 2:43Speaker 1: produce as much as it used to. Supplements are designed
- 2:51Speaker 1: to help you replenish what's been depleted in your body.
- 2:58Speaker 1: As supplements now now are people I can tell you
- 3:02Speaker 1: can speak a lot more aggressively and a lot more
- 3:06Speaker 1: knowledgeable on this subject, but just giving you a just
- 3:09Speaker 1: a brief overview of my understanding of now. If you've
- 3:15Speaker 1: been living your life for a while, supplements are necessary
- 3:22Speaker 1: for most of us now. Also, if you've been living
- 3:31Speaker 1: your life for a while spiritually, you may need some
- 3:37Speaker 1: supplements because you've just been at it for a while.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You don't got woe down a little bit, You're tied,
- 3:47Speaker 1: some people around you, ain't changing. Some people around you draining.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's just life just keeps on coming. Life don't ever
- 3:55Speaker 1: get no easier. It just you become more knowledgeable about
- 3:59Speaker 1: how to handle it. It does not get any either easier.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You continue to lose loved ones, you continue to have
- 4:07Speaker 1: to confront the challenges. It's just that over course of
- 4:10Speaker 1: time you become experienced and you can handle them better.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But life don't get no easier. But spiritually you get
- 4:19Speaker 1: a little bit worn down. Well, you need some spiritual
- 4:23Speaker 1: supplements too. And I'm just gonna flat out tell you,
- 4:28Speaker 1: the more God that you can replenish yourself with, the
- 4:34Speaker 1: higher the dosage of God that you are willing to
- 4:39Speaker 1: put into your spiritual self, the possibilities then become limitless.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You actually have the ability to make a conscious decision
- 4:54Speaker 1: to supplement your body, and you have a conscious decision
- 4:58Speaker 1: to supplement yourself spirit You can do both. So what
- 5:04Speaker 1: I did was, I could just tell you what I did.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I was taking all these supplements. I started taking supplements
- 5:10Speaker 1: where I was about forty five. I think that's when
- 5:13Speaker 1: I began. I was thinking about it one day and
- 5:18Speaker 1: I just went wow, man, I started talking to some
- 5:21Speaker 1: knowledgeable people. I found out I needed these things. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: then spiritually, man, I started supplementing myself too. I started
- 5:27Speaker 1: praying some more. I started trying to gain a little
- 5:30Speaker 1: bit more knowledge and wisdom and understanding from scriptures and
- 5:34Speaker 1: just try to make sense of all of it, you know,
- 5:39Speaker 1: just just make a little bit more sense out of
- 5:41Speaker 1: my life, make sure that I was on the right path.
- 5:44Speaker 1: A matter of fact, get on the right path, find
- 5:47Speaker 1: out my real purpose and my mission in life. And
- 5:50Speaker 1: nobody can do that for you. That's something that you
- 5:52Speaker 1: have to want to do. But I started supplementing my
- 5:56Speaker 1: spiritual side of my life and supplementing my body. Now
- 6:00Speaker 1: I happen to be right now about in the best
- 6:04Speaker 1: shape I've ever been in. Technically, I can assure you,
- 6:10Speaker 1: though I am in the best shape spiritually I have
- 6:13Speaker 1: ever been in. Now my body has looked better, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: really has. I mean, come on now, at who I
- 6:21Speaker 1: am in life, at the stage with the years I've
- 6:23Speaker 1: been walking this earth. Man, I'm cool, But spiritually I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: in the best shape I've ever been in. And what
- 6:32Speaker 1: it has done for me, y'all is it's gave me
- 6:34Speaker 1: a peace and a calmness. You know, it used to be, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I used to fight so hard against people who attack. Now, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: it ain't. It ain't as serious to me because now
- 6:44Speaker 1: I have a full understanding that if I come under attack,
- 6:48Speaker 1: that God is with me, because that's a promise he made.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That's Isaiah fifty four seventeen. That's that's that's. Any weapon
- 6:57Speaker 1: formed against you, any weapon form to geinst you shall
- 7:01Speaker 1: not prosper. You can't. You can't come and get me.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm not here for you to take down because you
- 7:08Speaker 1: didn't put me here. So why would I feel a
- 7:12Speaker 1: person bringing me down when they're not the reason that
- 7:15Speaker 1: I'm here. So when you attack me, you have to
- 7:18Speaker 1: be careful because I ain't ever by myself, I formed
- 7:24Speaker 1: the relationship with the most high that I can rely
- 7:28Speaker 1: on for protection, for coverage, and for peace. A lot
- 7:32Speaker 1: of times when things used to stress me out, how
- 7:36Speaker 1: to run this, how to handle this, how to deal
- 7:38Speaker 1: with that? You know, famous rough Man. And then you
- 7:41Speaker 1: put that together with some business, and you put that
- 7:43Speaker 1: together with your family. You got a lot of stuff
- 7:45Speaker 1: you're trying to tend to. I have a peace of
- 7:48Speaker 1: mind about it now because I have someone who provides
- 7:53Speaker 1: me with a sense of understanding and calmness that lets
- 7:57Speaker 1: me know that this tool shall pass. That it ain't
- 8:00Speaker 1: just a saying that I heard old people say that.
- 8:04Speaker 1: It ain't just something my mama used to tell me.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's something that can really happen. Once you get an understanding,
- 8:10Speaker 1: this tool shall pass. This is just another piece of
- 8:13Speaker 1: life that you are now better equipped to handle. I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: telling you what it's done for me. A millions of
- 8:20Speaker 1: people out there hear me. Man has done the same
- 8:23Speaker 1: thing for them. I'm telling it new to some people,
- 8:27Speaker 1: but there's some people that show enough understand what I'm saying.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then if you have known this but kind of
- 8:33Speaker 1: forgot it, it's time for some supplements. So when you
- 8:37Speaker 1: get like that, and now you find yourself in a
- 8:40Speaker 1: situation with a disease or something. You gotta do something. Nah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: you gotta start juicing all your greens. You gotta start
- 8:49Speaker 1: detoxing your body. You gotta start purifying the system. See,
- 8:53Speaker 1: the human body has always had a way to repair
- 8:57Speaker 1: itself if you just give it a chance. Your mind
- 9:00Speaker 1: has always had a chance to repair itself if you
- 9:03Speaker 1: give it a chance. And your spirit always has a
- 9:07Speaker 1: chance to repair itself, if you give it a chance.
- 9:12Speaker 1: It's the only way I can maintain at this level,
- 9:15Speaker 1: and it's the only way I have any chance of
- 9:18Speaker 1: going further. I have to increase my dosage of spiritual supplements.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I got to talk to God a little bit more.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I got to pray a little bit more. I got
- 9:31Speaker 1: to understand his word a little bit more. That's all
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Man, If you do that, if you
- 9:38Speaker 1: just pray more, if you just study a little bit more, Man,
- 9:42Speaker 1: just try to get it, understand it, ask him to
- 9:44Speaker 1: help you understand. It will open up the possibilities of
- 9:48Speaker 1: your life into a realm you never could have imagined.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you that's real. Okay, you're listening to ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement. It's
- 10:06Speaker 1: moaning time. Yeah, it's moaning time. Fad again, Yeah, moaning time.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It could be uh something contrived with mourning or it
- 10:20Speaker 1: could be moaning. And that was the difference between moaning
- 10:25Speaker 1: and the morning. Well here it is morning is that's
- 10:34Speaker 1: most that's the one more time do that. It just
- 10:41Speaker 1: roost up. Groaning sounds like, yeah, that's devotion right there,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and the moaning didn't understand that moaning right there. Hear
- 11:23Speaker 1: me have a whole conversation on your knee with m
- 11:28Speaker 1: That's the difference. But this, this is Steve Harvard Morning Show.

- 22:00Speaker 1: year after they divorced. I am trying to still hide
- 22:03Speaker 1: our relationship so her feelings won't be hurt. But he's
- 22:06Speaker 1: ready to go public. He is, Uh, has enough time

- 22:29Speaker 1: fury like a woman scorn. You're about to find that out.
- 22:33Speaker 1: She thought it was a scripture. Actually is just to
- 22:35Speaker 1: say what she love him? She loved that's cool. That's cool,
- 22:38Speaker 1: and love costs so no amount of time. Loo don't
- 22:43Speaker 1: cost a thing? Yeah starring you good? Yea? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah?
- 22:48Speaker 1: What yeah? What it do? So whole time I was

- 23:05Speaker 1: no amount of Okay, fine her her friends, your friends.

- 23:16Speaker 1: she doesn't even understand that one. Yeah, oh you it

- 23:25Speaker 1: my husband reserved a room at a restaurant for Mother's
- 23:28Speaker 1: Day brunch and invited his mother, his aunt, and sister.
- 23:32Speaker 1: And I wanted to sit by my husband, but his
- 23:34Speaker 1: mother sat on one side and his aunt sat on
- 23:37Speaker 1: the other. He didn't seem to care, and I felt
- 23:39Speaker 1: like he overlooked me all day. Was I being selfish?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Or did he drop the ball? Yeah? You were being
- 23:46Speaker 1: so you know what? Okay, let me tell me in
- 23:51Speaker 1: real quick. I did this like I made so, I said,
- 23:55Speaker 1: by my wife and my mother. My wife was on
- 23:57Speaker 1: one side, my mother was on the other. How do
- 24:00Speaker 1: you how are you supposed to do that on Mother's Day? Well,
- 24:03Speaker 1: that was the only intelligent thing I've ever heard you do. Well,
- 24:12Speaker 1: and thank you for and thank you for that, chap,
- 24:17Speaker 1: very very wonderful way of doing it. He should have
- 24:20Speaker 1: had his wife next to him for Mother's Day and
- 24:23Speaker 1: his mother. Yeah, especially if she is the mother of
- 24:27Speaker 1: his children, and so that would have been the smart thing.
- 24:31Speaker 1: He did drop the ball, But I wouldn't make a
- 24:36Speaker 1: big deal of it because the aunt probably you know,
- 24:41Speaker 1: the mother, You understand that, But the aunt should have
- 24:44Speaker 1: gotten out the way she did that. The aunt being staked,
- 24:47Speaker 1: she's probably thinking, well, you see him all the time,
- 24:51Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, yeah, all right. Moving on to an
- 24:58Speaker 1: aunt in Tallahassee and says, I'm a thirty eight year
- 25:01Speaker 1: old married man and my side chick pays me for sex. Okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I've been lying to my wife about where the money
- 25:09Speaker 1: is coming from. I'm only a bartender. So my wife
- 25:12Speaker 1: has asked if I'm doing something illegal, should I start
- 25:15Speaker 1: hiding the money? M what what side chick pays him
- 25:22Speaker 1: for sex? Wait? Hold of though she's paying you for
- 25:26Speaker 1: sex cash, why are you bringing the money in? You
- 25:35Speaker 1: can't be deposited it. You can't be that dumb. But
- 25:39Speaker 1: why would you even allow your wife the conversation of
- 25:44Speaker 1: where it's this extra money coming from? You're stupid? Yeah, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 1: you're stupid. Oh so many Yeah, he already got a
- 25:54Speaker 1: side chick. And ain't you had ain't you had a sad.
- 26:03Speaker 1: What's going on? If if you had the sade chick,
- 26:07Speaker 1: why would you not hide the results? Dumb? Yes, thank you,
- 26:12Speaker 1: stupid stupid boy. Let me tell you something. You're not
- 26:16Speaker 1: gonna be doing this long. It's just any date now here?
- 26:20Speaker 1: It's now? Should I start hiding the money? All right?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Moving on to Toya in Fairfax, Toya says, my son
- 26:31Speaker 1: is seven years old and I heard him talking to
- 26:34Speaker 1: my younger sister last night and he was cursing like
- 26:39Speaker 1: a grown man. Her group of friends thought it was cute,
- 26:45Speaker 1: and when I blasted her on it, she said, I'm
- 26:47Speaker 1: lame and my son will grow up hating me. Should
- 26:50Speaker 1: I keep my child from being around and favored Onti
- 26:52Speaker 1: for a while? Wow? Well, where that's not your problem? Well,
- 27:01Speaker 1: first of all, where did your boy get this from?
- 27:05Speaker 1: Are you think? Are you saying he got it from
- 27:07Speaker 1: his favorite auntie? Or did he get it from home?
- 27:11Speaker 1: That's your problem. He's seven. She shouldn't encourage this at seven,
- 27:18Speaker 1: was you even though? Oh I've been I've been customed
- 27:22Speaker 1: since I was four. My cousin's too. My cousin I
- 27:26Speaker 1: started at four, I know exactly. And the problem my
- 27:31Speaker 1: head with customer was. I was trying to put the
- 27:33Speaker 1: combination together. Just couldn't it sound so stick my cousin. Wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 27:40Speaker 1: hold on, Cherley. You know I want to hear a combination,
- 27:43Speaker 1: you know, I want to hear the combination crazy. I
- 27:51Speaker 1: want one good one, one good one. That didn't work
- 27:54Speaker 1: out right, you know? And at four, Yeah, I didn't.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't know where to put the
- 28:03Speaker 1: emphasis because I thought the cuss word was the most important.
- 28:10Speaker 1: So I get to put that you look, you look,
- 28:13Speaker 1: asked pump, and when I really should have said in
- 28:16Speaker 1: the land, but I didn't know that, So I tried
- 28:19Speaker 1: to put the emphasis always on cuss word and myself.
- 28:22Speaker 1: So her her sister says she was lame. What about
- 28:25Speaker 1: that for not letting you come? Do you know how
- 28:28Speaker 1: bad I would have to hate my mama right now?
- 28:30Speaker 1: But what man, your son gonna grow up hating and
- 28:36Speaker 1: you for disciplining him. Well, you must not understand the
- 28:43Speaker 1: role of parent if your child resents and hate you
- 28:47Speaker 1: from discipline. We all have no relationships with our children
- 28:50Speaker 1: at all, right, right, clearly my sons have no business
- 28:55Speaker 1: speaking to me at this day. Yeah, but younger sister has,
- 29:01Speaker 1: she's the one that's out of line here for encouraging it.
- 29:05Speaker 1: All right, all right, cello, thank you. Coming up at
- 29:08Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news
- 29:10Speaker 1: for you right after this you're listening to show. Mike
- 29:17Speaker 1: Tyson will not face criminal charges from when he punched
- 29:21Speaker 1: a man repeatedly in the face on a Jet Blue

- 29:27Speaker 1: a water bottle at him and just kept annoying him.
- 29:29Speaker 1: The lawyer for the man said there was no bottle
- 29:32Speaker 1: thrown and blamed the incident on his client being overly excited.
- 29:36Speaker 1: The San Mateo County D eight said that neither the
- 29:40Speaker 1: guy or Mike Tyson wanted to go to trial because
- 29:42Speaker 1: there are more serious cases that the prosecution's office should
- 29:46Speaker 1: be handling. Since the attack, Mike Tyson has been smoking weed,
- 29:51Speaker 1: kicking it and hanging with his friends like Rick Ross. Okay,
- 29:55Speaker 1: why is Mike own jet? Yeah? I thought about that
- 30:00Speaker 1: about absolutely ludicrous. This is absolutely ludicrous. He went off. Yah,
- 30:14Speaker 1: Michael whipped his hands that day though, did you see that? Yeah? Yeah?
- 30:19Speaker 1: And in the cole well, all right. In other entertainment news, ladies, ladies, ladies.
- 30:30Speaker 1: As the nephew used to say, pack your bag and

- 31:04Speaker 1: how did Jesse's pictures go naked? His naked pictures get leaked? Well?

- 31:27Speaker 1: was I slurring? Were viral? People are saying that an
- 31:34Speaker 1: audience member must have broken broadway strict no cell phone policy.
- 31:38Speaker 1: The name of the play again is Take Me Out.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Jesse plays a gay baseball player who comes out at
- 31:44Speaker 1: the height of his career. And good news, Jesse has
- 31:47Speaker 1: all also been nominated for a Tony Award for his performance.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Jesse Williams, So congratulations to him on that. But yeah,

- 32:09Speaker 1: we we we know we can't say that, so let's
- 32:11Speaker 1: keep it move. Yeah, not to say, since you asked,
- 32:18Speaker 1: have you guys ever had a nude embarrassing moment? Oh?
- 32:22Speaker 1: Hell yea, yeah, y'all ain't no naked moment. I mean
- 32:27Speaker 1: it's any number of things. You know. I've been naked
- 32:31Speaker 1: and confused, not afraid, not afraid, no, nick confused. I
- 32:38Speaker 1: refused to be naked in a fraid. It ain't enough
- 32:40Speaker 1: calamana lotion for me to get on that show right now.
- 32:43Speaker 1: But I have been Nick. I had an apartment, and
- 32:48Speaker 1: you know, they used to deliver papers, right, and the
- 32:51Speaker 1: papers used to be they should put them in front
- 32:53Speaker 1: of your door. What a little paper, dude, kind of
- 32:56Speaker 1: setting on a little further out in the hallway like
- 32:58Speaker 1: our damned in the middle of hallway and a tower
- 33:00Speaker 1: wrapped around okay, And I opened up the door and
- 33:05Speaker 1: I went to reach for the paper, and then the
- 33:07Speaker 1: tower failed as I was getting up with the paper.
- 33:10Speaker 1: So then when I reached for the town, the towel
- 33:12Speaker 1: hit the float. And this lady was in the hallway.
- 33:15Speaker 1: She had been out getting shopping that morning. The old
- 33:18Speaker 1: lady said, oh lord, I picked the tow and said,
- 33:24Speaker 1: thank you very much. Speaking of praise of worship, yeah much,
- 33:33Speaker 1: thank you very much. Anyone else want to share, Junior,
- 33:37Speaker 1: it looks like you have something on your well, you know,
- 33:39Speaker 1: you know, at the time, I was visiting the female
- 33:41Speaker 1: and at the time, and you know, I was misreading
- 33:44Speaker 1: the situation opposite. I didn't. I didn't know because you
- 33:47Speaker 1: know she you know, she said, well, you're going in
- 33:49Speaker 1: relaxing everything. So I go getting a shower and I
- 33:50Speaker 1: come out the shower. I didn't know she was having
- 33:53Speaker 1: her friends come over. So I come out and here
- 33:56Speaker 1: I am, and it's extra. People didn't hear that I
- 33:58Speaker 1: was nine. Oh whale was coming over. He was just
- 34:01Speaker 1: about a ten minute shower. So they were like, oh girl, okay,
- 34:04Speaker 1: look at him. Okay, Now I have been back in
- 34:08Speaker 1: the room because I just sat there and nothing happened
- 34:11Speaker 1: that night because I couldn't believe I just did this. Now,
- 34:15Speaker 1: Now were you were you excited at that time? Well, yeah,
- 34:21Speaker 1: of course you come out that room turned that Cort Hey, hey, Cheryl, hey, hey,
- 34:32Speaker 1: did you see that thing that was on the internet.
- 34:33Speaker 1: This man said, yeah, man, um, it was my birthday
- 34:39Speaker 1: yesterday and I'm getting it before. Yeah, this thing was
- 34:45Speaker 1: so funny. He said. He woke up that morning and nobody,
- 34:49Speaker 1: his wife, kids, no, nobody never mentioned his birthday and
- 34:53Speaker 1: messed him up. So he went to work and he's
- 34:55Speaker 1: at work and he's working and then nobody said nothing
- 34:58Speaker 1: to him on his birthday and so fun Only his boss,
- 35:00Speaker 1: who's a woman and attractive woman, said hey, it's your birthday.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Would you like to go out to lunch for your birthday?
- 35:06Speaker 1: And he said okay, Well somebody thought him out, so
- 35:08Speaker 1: they went to the lunch room. After she said, hey,
- 35:11Speaker 1: you wanna Hey, you want to stop by my place? Oh,
- 35:15Speaker 1: happy birthday. And so then so they go by the
- 35:18Speaker 1: place and then, uh, you know, she she says, she said,
- 35:24Speaker 1: I'll be back. I'm gonna go slip into something more comfortable,
- 35:27Speaker 1: and so he's sitting out there in the other room
- 35:29Speaker 1: and uh, you know, when she comes out the room,
- 35:32Speaker 1: he thinking everything gonna be all right. But she comes

- 37:29Speaker 1: You can see the referee leaving the ring break. I'm

- 39:32Speaker 1: all you have to do is call eight seven seven
- 39:34Speaker 1: twenty nine Steve and you might hear your message on
- 39:36Speaker 1: the radio. Steve. Are you ready? Here is will This
- 39:40Speaker 1: caller needs some relationship advice. I want to speed. My
- 39:44Speaker 1: name is Will and I'm in a relationship with my fiance.
- 39:49Speaker 1: But Steve shouldn't be trusting what I've been thinking, or
- 39:52Speaker 1: trust the faith that I'm telling her. And she started
- 39:55Speaker 1: working and I'm sending at her job overnight or even
- 39:58Speaker 1: during the daytime, and I'm giving her everything, but she
- 40:02Speaker 1: wants to walk away because of ubhead and everything that
- 40:06Speaker 1: she expence. And I'll say and guess what. See, I
- 40:08Speaker 1: did some things to hurt her in the beginning, but
- 40:11Speaker 1: I changed and I fince it and I became a
- 40:13Speaker 1: different man. Seed. So see, I need for mid fight
- 40:16Speaker 1: because Seeve o'h my damn good man, A damn good man.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Thank you, Yes she will. Damn I don't. I don't.
- 40:23Speaker 1: I don't doubt that you're a good man. But you
- 40:26Speaker 1: said something. You said I did some things to hurt
- 40:29Speaker 1: her in the beginning. This is what I had to learn,
- 40:32Speaker 1: And this is what I've been telling people lately. You
- 40:36Speaker 1: can't hurt somebody and then tell them how to heal. Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 1: it doesn't work to say that again, Say that you
- 40:45Speaker 1: can't hurt somebody and then tell them how to heal.
- 40:50Speaker 1: You can't you see, you can't do both, bro, So
- 40:54Speaker 1: now you got to allow her to process it however
- 40:57Speaker 1: she gonna process. And that's the cost, man. That's that's
- 41:01Speaker 1: the problem that when we do something, there's a cast.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Now it's not a forever cost. And this is why
- 41:06Speaker 1: I don't like about people. You know, people take a
- 41:09Speaker 1: mistake you made in the past and every time they
- 41:11Speaker 1: see something hampty, that's calm or remember when he did this.
- 41:15Speaker 1: You are not the person who passes out calma. You ain't.
- 41:18Speaker 1: A matter of fact. Most people use word calm and
- 41:21Speaker 1: use it too loosely. It's you just entered the next
- 41:24Speaker 1: phase of the life. You're gonna continue to make mistakes.
- 41:26Speaker 1: So look, bro, you made a mistake. I bet you
- 41:28Speaker 1: are damn good man, but you gotta do a little groppling, man,

- 44:13Speaker 1: Coming up next today's prank phone call from the nephew.
- 44:16Speaker 1: Right after this Hello here, I'm scared you're listening. Show
- 44:24Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:27Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today and
- 44:29Speaker 1: the subject is next door and down the street. But
- 44:33Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here. We get to a
- 44:35Speaker 1: strawberry letter in a bit. The nephew is here right
- 44:37Speaker 1: now with today's prank phone call. What you got for
- 44:39Speaker 1: it's nephe This right here is nappy hair nappy. It's
- 44:44Speaker 1: the word nappy, It just it just it just rings
- 44:47Speaker 1: volumes when we say it, nappy hair cat dog. If
- 44:52Speaker 1: you would hello, Hello, I'll try to get Francis. Hey, friends,
- 44:57Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Darryl Dale. Our kids
- 45:01Speaker 1: they go to our together. Oh yeah, yeah, your daughters
- 45:04Speaker 1: Kalin right, yes, okay, my son is a DJ Daryl Junior.
- 45:08Speaker 1: They I think I may have met you at the
- 45:10Speaker 1: beginning of the school. Yeah, you remember meeting me, Darryl Daryl. Oh,
- 45:14Speaker 1: I met a lot of people, but I'm sorry I
- 45:16Speaker 1: can't place you right now. Okay, no problem. Hey listen, um,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I was getting your call. You know, there's only a
- 45:22Speaker 1: handful of black kids at the school, you know, being
- 45:26Speaker 1: a private school and all, and we, the black parents,
- 45:30Speaker 1: we all got together and had a meeting a couple
- 45:32Speaker 1: of nights ago. Okay, you said all the black parents. Okay,
- 45:35Speaker 1: I wasn't there. Why wasn't our call? Uh, well, we
- 45:38Speaker 1: actually had a meeting about your daughter, Kalin. Oh well
- 45:41Speaker 1: what about Kalin? Is she is there a problem at
- 45:44Speaker 1: school that she claimed? There's something I don't even know about.
- 45:47Speaker 1: What's what's going on with? Well? Actually we're you know,
- 45:50Speaker 1: we feel privileged to be you know. You know, like
- 45:52Speaker 1: I said, there's only a handful of blacks, and we
- 45:54Speaker 1: try to carry ourselves in a dignified way, our presence,
- 45:57Speaker 1: our attitude, the way we handle ourselves. And uh, you know,
- 46:01Speaker 1: Kaylin's doing very good in school, I want, I understand,
- 46:04Speaker 1: and very nice with all the rest of the kids.
- 46:05Speaker 1: He's getting along. That's not the problem. What we're what
- 46:08Speaker 1: we're trying to get is the grooming of Kaylin. You know,
- 46:12Speaker 1: Kaylin's has these braids, and what we were trying to
- 46:15Speaker 1: do is give you know, we had a meeting about it.
- 46:17Speaker 1: We want to have wold hold hold of Did you
- 46:20Speaker 1: just say her grooming something wrong with her grooming? Well,
- 46:23Speaker 1: it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know the
- 46:25Speaker 1: kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know, we
- 46:29Speaker 1: want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity. The
- 46:32Speaker 1: way we carry ourselves. We want to be um, you know,
- 46:36Speaker 1: pretty much nice and clean, spitting polished. We would really
- 46:39Speaker 1: prefer for her hair was straight and opposed to being
- 46:41Speaker 1: braided up, you know, I mean that kind of gives
- 46:45Speaker 1: off a ghetto type of look to it, and that's
- 46:47Speaker 1: what we're trying to avoid. Are you crazy? It's something
- 46:51Speaker 1: wrong with you you. First of all, how the hell
- 46:53Speaker 1: you get my mum? If you couldn't call me for
- 46:56Speaker 1: the meeting, why are you calling me now? Like I said, man,
- 46:59Speaker 1: the meeting was to get the general consensus on where
- 47:01Speaker 1: all the parents feel in the same way about your
- 47:03Speaker 1: daughter and her braids. You know, we're just trying to
- 47:06Speaker 1: keep everything class here. When it comes to the blacks
- 47:08Speaker 1: that attended school, it's only ten of us, you know,
- 47:11Speaker 1: ten children attending. I'll tell you what you can attend
- 47:14Speaker 1: you could what you can attend to is this phone
- 47:17Speaker 1: hanging up in your grace. You tell up the parents,
- 47:20Speaker 1: all of them for me, y'all can go straight and
- 47:23Speaker 1: hit rock bottom out of hell. Talk about my child
- 47:25Speaker 1: and her braids. Her braids are ethnic, they are nice,
- 47:28Speaker 1: she's wearing grooms and I don't know how in the
- 47:31Speaker 1: hell you got my telephone number. But tell all the
- 47:34Speaker 1: parents for me to kiss the crack of out you
- 47:36Speaker 1: know what. Listen, First of all, I don't like the
- 47:38Speaker 1: way that you're talking to me. Okay. I carry myself
- 47:40Speaker 1: with class, with dignity. I'm spitting polish man. You tell
- 47:50Speaker 1: me I can just as ghetto as her hairstyle, and
- 47:53Speaker 1: let me say something real ghetto to your Okay, you
- 47:57Speaker 1: and all the parents can hit rock from out of hell.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Don't call me no more when no like this. This
- 48:02Speaker 1: is ignorant. I'm far beyond this. My child is well groomed.
- 48:07Speaker 1: She is gonna go to that store as a matter
- 48:08Speaker 1: of fact, as much money as it costs to go
- 48:10Speaker 1: there too. Y'all should have been meeting on how we
- 48:12Speaker 1: can get together and pay the tuition. How about fact?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Are you trying to sit here and tell me that
- 48:17Speaker 1: you've got a problem taking her brains down and wearing
- 48:19Speaker 1: her hair straight so she can look a lot more
- 48:21Speaker 1: classy than what she looks right now. At your pathetic
- 48:24Speaker 1: look that she's having right now, you know what I don't.
- 48:27Speaker 1: What's your hair looked like? Take a picture of your
- 48:29Speaker 1: self and send it to me texted to me, since
- 48:31Speaker 1: you get folks phoned numbs and give it to you.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Take a picture of your self and texted to me.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I bet you you look like who would have parted.
- 48:38Speaker 1: My daughter's braids are gonna stay up for the rest
- 48:40Speaker 1: of the years. As a matter of fact, we ain't
- 48:42Speaker 1: gonna rebraided. It's gonna stay that way so it can
- 48:45Speaker 1: be madd at and represent that's what we're gonna do.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Francis listening. I don't I don't want to argue. I
- 48:50Speaker 1: just wanted to call and see if we can actually,
- 48:53Speaker 1: you know, come to a medium on this. Do you
- 48:55Speaker 1: think that there's a possibility that I mean when I'm
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm picking up DJ tomorrow after school, it would it
- 49:02Speaker 1: be all right if I picked up little Kaylin and
- 49:05Speaker 1: brought her home and let my wife do our hair. Please,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I wish that you would pick my start up and
- 49:13Speaker 1: see what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my
- 49:15Speaker 1: husband and him to come over your house and whoop
- 49:17Speaker 1: y'all after he braids yo, as I wish you would
- 49:21Speaker 1: pick up my thought I call the police on. As
- 49:24Speaker 1: a matter of fact, you're gonna have to call the
- 49:25Speaker 1: police on me and my husband Steward and see what happens. Ma'am.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get some class here, that's all
- 49:31Speaker 1: we're wanting. We're not wanting to fight with you, it's
- 49:33Speaker 1: just the blocks here. We think that we want a
- 49:36Speaker 1: little bit more classy look of the way we are groom.
- 49:39Speaker 1: That's the only thing we're looking for the only person
- 49:41Speaker 1: who's gonna be taking the classes. And when we get
- 49:43Speaker 1: to whoop, you're gonna be taking the class. How about back? Yeah,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I can't stand up like you. Y'all get five dollars
- 49:52Speaker 1: and one penny in your pocket that and think you
- 49:55Speaker 1: better than everybody as you to get where you came from.
- 49:58Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, what's jokes? What's name? Because
- 50:01Speaker 1: I'm calling the principle on your day, give me your
- 50:04Speaker 1: name and mister hoole, what's your name? Uh, that's that's
- 50:09Speaker 1: that's that's that's not that's not really what my name is.
- 50:11Speaker 1: But that's what told me when you first Cammy, what
- 50:14Speaker 1: is your real name? My name is my name? My
- 50:17Speaker 1: real name is Tommy Thomas. No, no, my last name either.
- 50:21Speaker 1: What what the hell is your name? Do you know?
- 50:23Speaker 1: My name is Tommy nephew Tommy from the Steve Horby

- 50:47Speaker 1: cool and everything there. I tell you what, keep eat

- 50:57Speaker 1: he said, Man, he said, it don't take about two
- 51:00Speaker 1: half minutes for my wife to go off. He said,
- 51:02Speaker 1: it don't take for two and a half, he said,
- 51:05Speaker 1: I promise you right a calm down, let me ask

- 51:33Speaker 1: That's all I want to know? Did I make you?
- 51:35Speaker 1: Tell us how proud you are yourself? First? You want
- 51:40Speaker 1: to know, man, I am related about what I do
- 51:44Speaker 1: and who I am and what I bring to this.
- 51:47Speaker 1: But what what I bring to the table? You know what? Um?
- 51:52Speaker 1: I'm amazing, man, I am really truly and I'm I'm

- 52:18Speaker 1: Shock to selling something like the phenomenon. I'm a phenomenon Pokemon.

- 54:07Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry
- 54:09Speaker 1: LETTA thank you, nephew's subject next door and down the Street.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married to a mister fix it All,
- 54:17Speaker 1: the friendly handyman that runs to help single women when
- 54:20Speaker 1: something goes wrong in their home. I hope he can
- 54:23Speaker 1: fix his marriage because I'm at the end of my
- 54:25Speaker 1: rope with him. He runs a landscaping business, and he
- 54:28Speaker 1: has awesome employees that work for him and execute his vision.
- 54:33Speaker 1: That frees him up to do a lot of customer
- 54:35Speaker 1: service type work. And when he sees a customer with
- 54:37Speaker 1: a need, it's his duty to provide a service. That's
- 54:40Speaker 1: what he tells me every time he gets in a
- 54:43Speaker 1: sticky situation with a quote unquote customer. Last week, I
- 54:47Speaker 1: got home from the gym and he was nowhere to
- 54:50Speaker 1: be found. I heard hammering next door, so I went
- 54:53Speaker 1: upstairs to peek over into my neighbor's yard. Her husband
- 54:56Speaker 1: died last year, so she's maintaining the house and taking
- 55:00Speaker 1: care of her young child alone. I've cooked for her,
- 55:03Speaker 1: and I'll keep her daughter if she wants to run
- 55:05Speaker 1: some errands. She's a sweet person. My husband told her
- 55:08Speaker 1: anything she needs, we're here for her. So I guess
- 55:12Speaker 1: she needed help with her fence, and he had to
- 55:14Speaker 1: take his shirt off to nail a few boards together
- 55:17Speaker 1: for her. I watched him and her in the backyard
- 55:20Speaker 1: and the body language was very flirtatious. When he got home,
- 55:24Speaker 1: I asked how he got over there, and he said
- 55:27Speaker 1: she texted him. I didn't know they had each other's
- 55:30Speaker 1: numbers or whatever it is. It's what he does to
- 55:35Speaker 1: me all the time. Just yesterday, I saw his truck
- 55:38Speaker 1: in the neighborhoods skanks yard, and she's got to live
- 55:41Speaker 1: in boyfriend that's a flight attendant, so he's always gone.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Heaven knows what she needed. I'm sick of him being
- 55:48Speaker 1: openly disrespectful to me and our marriage. If he's a landscaper,
- 55:53Speaker 1: why can't he just do that? Is he seeking praise
- 55:56Speaker 1: from the women or does he want more than that? Well,
- 56:00Speaker 1: it sounds like he wants whatever he can get, and
- 56:03Speaker 1: it sounds like he's either getting it already or he's
- 56:06Speaker 1: gonna get it. Taking a shirt off and all of that.
- 56:09Speaker 1: You said he has awesome employees, so why doesn't he
- 56:12Speaker 1: just let them take care of his customers? Why doesn't he?
- 56:15Speaker 1: I mean, he's in no way obligated to take care
- 56:18Speaker 1: of all the single women in need. So what is
- 56:21Speaker 1: really going on with him? It's a question why does
- 56:24Speaker 1: the neighbor have his phone number? Why? Because he gave
- 56:28Speaker 1: it to her. That's what happened there. This is not
- 56:31Speaker 1: looking good for him in my eyes, and I'm sure
- 56:33Speaker 1: your eyes either. You gotta let him know what's up,
- 56:37Speaker 1: and not that you should have to, because he should
- 56:40Speaker 1: know better as a married man not to be doing that.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I mean, my question to you is have you said
- 56:46Speaker 1: anything to him about it? Because it sounds like you're
- 56:49Speaker 1: just sitting back and letting him do whatever he does,
- 56:52Speaker 1: whatever he wants to do. He might think you're okay
- 56:55Speaker 1: with it since you've been silent silent, say something, let
- 57:00Speaker 1: him know how you feel and that you don't like it.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Tell him to let those single women get their own
- 57:04Speaker 1: handyman and leave yours alone. Steve, you know, it's really simple.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Letters really like not. She has no proof of anything.
- 57:14Speaker 1: She's just has some suspicions here, and that's you know,
- 57:17Speaker 1: it's hard for us to respond to a letter with suspicions.
- 57:22Speaker 1: But I do have a couple of things of interest
- 57:25Speaker 1: I found in this letter. Now you're married to what
- 57:28Speaker 1: she calls him is to fix it all and friendly
- 57:30Speaker 1: handyman that runs to help single women when something goes
- 57:36Speaker 1: wrong in their home. See, married people need handywork done too.
- 57:42Speaker 1: But sometimes some men are more do it yourself as
- 57:45Speaker 1: than some women are more do it yourself as so,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but you seem to think that the focus is on
- 57:51Speaker 1: single women. I hope he can fix this match because
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'm at the end of my rope with him now.
- 57:59Speaker 1: He runs a let landscaping business. Now I know some
- 58:02Speaker 1: people with landscaping business that's bushes, grass, trees, lander escaping.
- 58:11Speaker 1: That's what it is. He has awesome employees that work
- 58:16Speaker 1: for him and execute his vision. That frees him up
- 58:19Speaker 1: to do a lot of customer service type of work.
- 58:21Speaker 1: Maybe that's what he's interested in. It's the customer service
- 58:26Speaker 1: type work. See, you're using a lot of keywords here.
- 58:30Speaker 1: That's kind of telling the story. So he didn't really
- 58:33Speaker 1: want to be a landscaper. He really wanted to be
- 58:36Speaker 1: a customer servicer. So that's what he's doing, right, And
- 58:41Speaker 1: that's what he tells me every time he gets into
- 58:43Speaker 1: a sticky situation with a customer. Now, last week, she
- 58:47Speaker 1: came home for the gym and he was nowhere to
- 58:50Speaker 1: be found. You heard some hammering next door, so you
- 58:54Speaker 1: went upstairs with y'all knows itself and look over in
- 58:57Speaker 1: the neighbor's yard. And her husband died last year. So
- 59:05Speaker 1: she's maintaining the house and taking care of this young
- 59:08Speaker 1: child by herself. Right now, this woman say she didn't
- 59:12Speaker 1: cook for and keep her. She want to rust the marriage.
- 59:14Speaker 1: She's a really sweet person. So it really ain't her.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You got the problem with my husband? Told her anything's
- 59:21Speaker 1: and she needs We're here for her. So I guess
- 59:26Speaker 1: she needed help with her fence, and he had to
- 59:27Speaker 1: take his shirt off to nail a few boards together
- 59:31Speaker 1: for her. Right there, let's talk. I just told you
- 59:36Speaker 1: what landscaping was, bushes, grass and trees. He over that
- 59:42Speaker 1: hamming boards on a fence. Ain't got nothing to do
- 59:44Speaker 1: with landscaping. Now, landscapers do put on but he ain't
- 59:48Speaker 1: over that making money. He over there helping hour. But
- 59:52Speaker 1: he took his shirt off. I have seven questions. How
- 59:59Speaker 1: many boys was he hammling? And how hot was it? Who?
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: I gotta take your damn shirt off? Now, I'm assuming
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: he's fit, because you going to the gym to make
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: sure you fit. Now you look out there, he got
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: sweat rolling down off his chocolate body, just hammling this
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: helper's face. Hold that thought, Steve, hold it, hold it
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: right there. We'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letters,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: subject next door and down the street. We'll get back
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening morning show, All right,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: is next door and down the street. Well, let's just
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: REALI soon. But this woman has suspicions about her husband,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: who's in the landscaping business, and he has some really
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: great employees that carry out his vision, so he's more
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: into the customer service part of it. You all have
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a next door neighbor who's a widower now because her
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: husband died a year a little year ago. She's a
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: sweet person, you say, and you all agreed to help
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her out with anything she needed. You go to the gym,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you come home, you hear some hammering, You go upstairs.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You look over in the yard. He over that hammering
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and some boards up against He's a landscaper, bushes, grass, landscaper.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: But now he over that. Nah he now he just
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: you know, miss now he do fish work. Yeah he's
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: a shirtless but naw. You look over that. He hamming
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: some boards and he ain't got his shirt off. My
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: question before we left was how many boards was he
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: hammering and how hot was it? And then you looked
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: in the backyard and the body language was very flirtatious
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: between him. When he got home, I asked him how
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: he got over there, and this fool said, she text me,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I don't know how I don't. I didn't know they
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: had each other's number. You wouldn't have known that had
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: dummy told you this, what should he said? Steve? Well,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I came home and I saw her trying to put
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: them boards up, and she Holly, because you heard her finger,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: And I said, hold on, let me help, y'all. And
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you know that, you know, you know then you could
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: say it. You can heave it out, you know, when
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: she smashed her finger, you know, at least I went
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: over there sucking her thumb for I just went on
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: star handing the boards. Oh, because you know, well, yeah,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you know, you know, because when you smash your finger
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: for a thing you wanta do it put it in
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: your mouth. So Les, I ain't go that far trying
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to help you, you know what I'm saying. And then
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: next thing, you know, yesterday you saw his truck down
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the neighborhood. Skanks y'all, she got to living board. Find
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: that's flight attendant. He ain't never home, heaving knows where
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: she needed. I'm thinking of him being openly different, respectful
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: to me and our marriage, and he's a landscaper. Why
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: can't he just do that? Is she's seeking praise for
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: the women or does he want more that The question
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: is is he seeking praise? Well, let me just say
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: this right here. He don't do pranks on the Steve
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Harmon On to show that the person he's not nephew Tommy,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: so he can't possibly doing that. But what I will
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: show you is his focus on customers. Shirley and came up.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I am going to do a live or reenactment. I'm
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: gonna show you how he gets all these extra jobs.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: I want you all to call and just ask him anything.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. It could be about
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the weather, it could be about school or anything. And
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: this is how he's selling his landscaping company, which is
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: why he's always at least single women's house. Just ask
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: me any question, please, any question? Anything? Okay, Um, listen,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: are you are you gonna I need someone to drive
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: the kids to school for me tomorrow? Can you do that? Please? Oh?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: You know driving it's what I do, yeah, you know,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: matter of fact, as a matter of fact, you know
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: one of my favorite places to go with to drive.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying Now, I could drive them
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: for you, but you know, yeah, that's all I need.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: That's all I need. Next question, I have a question
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: about lightbulbs, led light bulbs. Can you help me? It's
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: hard for me to make a decision, that's what kind. Oh,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I see what's happening. You want a light bulb or led?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Led simply spells led. So I'm being led into your
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: arms to put this bulb. I see what you're trying
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to do, lady, but your little chocolate itself, I see
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: exactly what you're trying to You know what I'm saying.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: I'm I'm being led right on up into this situation
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: with you talking about something led light bulb. Yeah, next question. Know,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I like, Um, my husband isn't here, and I like basketball,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and but my TV is not working properly. Um, is
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: there anything you can do to help me fix my TV?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Because I do like to watch basketball? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you probably yeah, because you like to hear that ball
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: pounding on that hard ruling and there's no sweeter sound
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: in the world and dribble. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: that ball pounding on that hard ruler. You know, as
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: a matter of fact, I can come down there fix anything.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Because I wanted the top hardwood pounders to get in
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the landscaping business. How are you still married. Yeah. Next question,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: my car is dirty. I need to take my car.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm gonna take it to the
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: car wash or wash it in the driveway. What you
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: really need is to get waxed. Really, see you all
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: have been at the top of myself. I didn't need
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: it to give you wax. That's what I do. That's
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the type of Christmas, you know what I mean. Next question, Okay,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I was I was coming down the stairs the other
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: day and I had my heels on and uh, I
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: slipped and almost fell. I don't know if it was
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: me or one of the boards were loose on the
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: stairs coming down the steps. If I'd have been down
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: there and caught you, it would have been on and cracking.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You ain't got to worry
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: about the flow balls. You know, I catch molding the
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: cold Mary. Yes Leo's question, Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I ain't ever out of time. Post your comments on

- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the form Making for the NBA. He will not. Man,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: He's kind of upset they're gonna give it to the
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: big Joker man for the Nuggets for the second straight year.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: You're gonna be the MVP even though they're not in
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: the playoffs right now, Joel Embiad still is. He's playing
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: night man. It ain't. It ain't. The young boy from Memphis.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: He ain't no no, no, no, Man. Joelian Bee got
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the scoring title. Man, and they're still in the playoffs. Man,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: and they gave it to the joker Man and joelian
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Bee say, he sat quietly, say he just took it in.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: He say gotta play ball, That's all he said. So.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Also at NBA, dudes, the Lakers are looking for a coach.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: The Lakers are using everybody in the organization to find
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: the coach. Jenny Buss says she's reached out to Phil Jackson.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: They went Doug Field up. They asking Magic. Yeah, they
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: went Phil Jackson. Yeah, they're looking for Phield Jacks. They
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: helped him find the coach, Magic Johnson. They talked to
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Lebron James about the coach. They reached out to Kurt
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: rambis Uh. There is other people they probably gonna reach
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: out to. If your phone ain't rain, they probably is
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: gonna the security of that works section one oh seven
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: to one away they're gonna reach out to you. Or
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: they're asking the Laker chin leaders if they got any
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: ideas who they like to see be the coach. Since
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: they gotta dance in front of them parking attendants, they
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: parking calls people come to gamesbody you think they should be?
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: So they also went down to the training room after trainers.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: He is matter you think you should be the coach?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: They just asked everybody. James is Lebron gonna be with
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the Lagos next year? Stephen A. Smith thinks they should
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: trade him to where Smith likes to say controversial man,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: but he's a commodity. So yeah, man, he's probably gonna
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: be that next season. Deal. Also, let me tell you
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: what you would do. Let me just put this out
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: of there because you didn't know this going on time.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Do you tell what you think? Tom Brady got a
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: deal from Fox Sports. That's ten years, three hundred and
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: seventy five million to do to do analysis. I play
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: playing playing, I'm through playing, I'm to play. I'm gonna
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: take my rings and often to be the Fox King.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: What why is he still a book up in the
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: buck the system and my han's gonna be working on Fox?
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: What man the goat man? They can't to office, so
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: whenever it retires, that's where it going, man, Fox Sports,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: ten years, three hundred seventy five million, Come on, who wow? Man?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at the top of the hour, Steve,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: people want to talk to you. We're going to check
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: your voicemail again at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steven,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: it's time to check your voicemail again eight seven seven
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: twenty nine, Steve, Are you ready? Here we go. This
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: caller's name Christian. He thinks you all might be related. Hi, Steve,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: my name's Christian. I think I'm actually blood related to you,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: but I'm not quite sure. I haven't been able to
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: do a DNA test anyway in the prospect of long
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: lost family, which is pretty awesome to me. I also
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: wanted to get your help with something I'm dealing with
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: pretty much a pack of angry girls, and I think
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: it would be great for your show if you could
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: give me a call. Obviously you have caller IDD have
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: my phone number. Thanks man, have a great day. By
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: very late to us. Christian. First of all, let me
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: help you understand the tone in your voice. Cleally, lets
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: me know we're not related in anyway. You ain't got
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: no rist You know you ain't got no you're related
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: in it? You know all this here you talking about
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: DNA and all this here and me, and right after
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: you said we could relating, you did the dreaded thing
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: when your aunt said you needed some help. That is
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: why we are not related, Christian. That is why there
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: has no chance of us being one more person talking
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: about we related. I need something, they need something. Many Christian,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I think there's a possibility that we might be related.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think so. And don't take the
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: test either, just to waste of time. All right, let's
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: go to Kathy from Charleston, South Carolina, Chay sing, can
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you get this mentors to nephew Tommy. I watched far
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: two of the reunion special last night, and you need
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: to change the title to your show from ready to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Love to ready to lie. Almost everyone told lies on
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: the episode last night. But I want to convenue on
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: the wonderful job because even you look surprised about everything
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: that was going on looking forward to the next show.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Thank you so much stuff that you are about getting
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: this message to you can respond. Let me tell you something.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I was so surprised as you were a baby girl
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: on this last episode the reunion special, Oh my god,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Reunion part two exactly called the Reunion Part two. I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: was lost I was confused. I didn't I didn't see
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: love nowhere. Do you know what I will say this,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I think Clifton Enjoy am going to find love. I
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: think they are. I think they truly genuinely love one another.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I think I'm hoping to hear good news from me
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: from this couple right here. Uh you know, you know
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I've been doing this. This is I'm on my way
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: into myself. I'm in my seventh season right now, I'm
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: shooting it in Miami. But but I really truly believe
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Clifton Enjoy will be wedding bills for me. And I've
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: been waiting to hear wedding bills for a long time
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: for my for ready to love. And I think I
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: think Clifton Enjoy are truly they truly truly love each other.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: And I'm crossing my fingers and that's gonna be my
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna be at the wed. Let's just say that.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna be at the wed when that jumps off.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: But you're right, baby girl, I ain't gonna lie to
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: you right this, this this Last Lord Reunion Part two
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: was just a hot mess. It was a lot. It
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: was it was it was a lot but it is,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: it is what it is. It's ready to love. Yeah,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: all right, thank you nephew, and thank you Kathy for
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: your call. Let's go to Michael, who left your message
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Steve about fans trying to get on the stage. Steve,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: this is Michael. Look, just let it be a one
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: on one case. Anybody jumper on the stage, you make
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: sure he don't get up there no more. Or she
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: don't get up there no more. She hill don't get
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: up there no more. Okay, just let it be one
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: at a ten. Just take care of like there. Yeah,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: that's that's my in my our intentions exactly. I don't
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: want no trouble when I'm on stage. Please please restrain
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: from ending your career. Don't don't. Don't do that ending
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: their career, ending their career. Yeah, yeah, how do you
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: mean saying? Yeah? Because you know, if running on stage
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: is your thing, if you last, all right, I want
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to ask you something about that though. All right, coming
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: listening Morning show, all right, now, if you had something
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: you wanted to ask your uncle, you said we were
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: talking about we were taking voice single questions. We took
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: some calls and somebody, uh somebody spoke about people running
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: up on stage and all of that. So I want
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: to ask you this, man. I mean, I'm still on stage.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Me and Junior were both still on stage. We're doing
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: it every other weekend. We were putting our time in. You.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: You've been this. You know you you're you're retired from
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: this part of your career. But I want to ask
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: you this. Should we actually prepare for this? Should we
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: actually have somebody? I don't know what to do, you
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: know what I mean. I want to go out and
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: make people laugh and have fun. I mean, you go ahead.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: All I would do is work on my lunges. You know,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: practice is probably what you need. Well, well, you know
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: see you gotta strengthen that that league is because you
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: you you box, uh orthodox, So your weight merely is
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: on your back right leg a lot. So you want
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: to strengthen it. So you practice practice doing your show
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: just on your back right leg with most of the
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: weight on that leg. Okay, so you have it so
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: at least the spring is loaded, you know, just keep
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: keep that weight on that back leg. So so when
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: they come you all just spring is already. Yeah, I'm
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: gonna let you have it all right, all right, clear
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: that up for your nephew coming up with thirty three
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll play around it. Would you
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: rather right after this? You're listening all right time now
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: for would you rather? Would you rather take care of
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: your friend's baby or your friend's dog? Well, give me
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: that dog, give me that dog, man, Yeah, now, I
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: got that dog. I ain't got that I ain't got
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: the rock that dog. I ain't got to burp that dog. Yeah,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: and your dog can't tell on me, So give me
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: the dog. Because I'm not studying your damn dog. I'm
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: gonna let his ass go litterally, little baby, I beat them.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Not be forgot your baby. You be looking for yourself.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: We both dog. At least I can feed the dog,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: and the dog will do what he got to do. Well,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm not I'm going
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: to forget your dog. Yeah, but will you will you
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: when you at least will you at least feed the dog?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Will you at least do that? Oh? Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: don't abuse that animal exactly at all, exactly, I'm gonna
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: get to feed that baby. I don't know. I am though. Okay,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the dog and you fall in the swimming pool. You
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: need to get dog petty. They don't know they can petal.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Did they get in there? They don't know they can
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: that they get in there. I'm moving on. Would you
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: rather the painful truth? The painful truth? Or would you
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: rather a comforting lie? God? Yeah, I'm gonna take that, lie.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Be I'm always for the comforting line. You don't want
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: another truth? Man? Yeah, a good comforting lie. I appreciate
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: the effort. What do you want to know? All three
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: comedians on this show, We're cool with lie. We're cool
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: with much. Rather another truth? Wow? The truth? If you
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: can really lie to me and make me feel good
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: about it. I oh, I'm gonna figure something out. Don't
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: worry about that. Wow. But the fact that you tried,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: see lie, lets me know you try. You know the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: pain for truth. Let's let's delay that pain as long
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: as I can hear it and get it over with,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: all right? All right? Would you rather a dirty kitchen
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: or a dirty bathroom? Oh? God, I don't now. I'll
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: take a dirty kitchen, dirty kitchen, Yes for dirty bathroom too,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: because the kitchen. Let me know you put your effort in,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: but that bathroom your ass is nast You is nasty.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I'm so funny about bathrooms, yes, Junior from him, Yeah,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: all right? Would you rather have massive success by accident
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: or a modest success on purpose? A massive accidental success? Massive? Massive? Want?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: I want abundance? All right? Coming up at forty nine
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have some closing remarks from
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. And it's our last break of the day.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening show. All right, guys, here
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: we are our last break of the day on this Thursday.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: And Steve, we have another voicemail for you at eight
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine. Steve, this caller's name is Alvin.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: He's from Atlanta. Steve. My name is Alvin through Sam
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: here in Atlanta, Georgia. Single father for beautiful kids. Thank
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: you for your voice, thank you for your investment. And
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: the hell with these people who've always gotten something to
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: stay bad about. Steve Harvey, Shirley, Julia, Tommy Carlin to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: the crew, we love you, Be blessed, be safe, stay prosperous,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and keep the love rolling. Man. Take care of yourself.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: God Blessed. We were about no Heat. It's like this
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: and I appreciate it album because you need to get
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: that from people sometimes, especially men, you know, because first
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: of all, it don't matter what they say, because what
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: they say don't matter. And I've just learned that about haters.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: They don't move the need or they sit up. They
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: criticize everybody's life, but if you look at their life,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: they ain't doing the damn thing. And I know for
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: a fact it's a lot of people out there talking
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: about me. But it's okay. I actually have more love
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: than I do hate. It's just hate is louder and
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: I and I understand that because listen to me, to everybody,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: if you're doing something, somebody ain't gonna like it because
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: they're mad at you because of the way you're making
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: them look. You know, they measure their life against yours.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: And then when they don't add up. Now you this
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: and that, I'll tell you what I will say, though, Alvin.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: What bothers me is when it's men. That's that's the
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: only thing that bothers me as men, because I'm I
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: pride myself on being a man's man. And if you're
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: a man and your little punk ass ain't got yourself together?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Why why are you? Why are you throwing shade on me? Bro?
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Because blowing my candle out ain't gonna make yours brighter.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: You still ain't got no flicker, So you know, man,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: But you know, man, but when men hate on me
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: is it'd be tripped me out because it's always a
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: man that don't even know me, because I'm cool with
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: ninety nine point nine percented to me and I'll meet
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: but me and not you know, if women out there
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: talking from whatever, you know, it's my past. I don't
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: like where he did his ex wife and all this hit.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: You know, people are gonna say stuff like that whatever
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you know, God that gave me for all. They don't know.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: They don't know both sides of the story though that
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: and Tommy, they never will. You don't know that. I'm
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: not knocking. I'm not one. I'm not knocking one side
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: or the other. I'm just saying they don't know both
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: sides of the story. They just don't think the judgment. Yeah,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: it's making judgment and they don't know. Man, I don't know.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I don't know how he did that. Okay, Well that's
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: a true statement. You don't. I had a young man
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: tell me who's very close to me. He got mad
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: at me one day and he said, I'll never be
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: a man like you. I looked ad at him and said,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: you're absolutely correct. Your words have never been sproken. I
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: just he said, no, you'll understand what I'm saying. Whatever
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: you're saying, that statement you just made is absolutely true
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: because you you ain't walked in my shoes, man. And
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I think if you had to wear these shoes, you
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: realize Jesus twelves and you ain't a half gurgle little
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: by little feet shoes six half gurgle. It was called though. Yeah,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: single father too, Yeah, thank you called. I had a question, Steve.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: You know you're you're the clo of the chief Love
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Officer UM and you give relationship advice all of that.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: What's the best relationship advice someone has ever given you
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: about love relationships? Yeah? Loving relationships? Yeah. I think my
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: brother told it to me best. My brother, say a
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: little bro, you can give all you want. You can't
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: out give a woman not a good No, when you
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: got a good woman, you can't out give them. M.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: I don't care what you do. And I think that's
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: really really helped me. You know, Marjorie said something to
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: me the other day that I had thought it out,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: worked it out, mapped it out, excellent, read it by
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: a couple of dudes, excellent plan told it to her,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: and sooner as I finished the sentence, she said, we
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: ain't gonna do that. That's the dumbest thing I've ever
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: do you know? This was two and a half weeks
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: of going over it, researching it, looked at the facts,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: did pull the numbers. It made perfect sense. Every dude
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: was talking like, yeah. I told it to her. As
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: soon as I finished the sentence without hesitation, she said,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: we ain't gonna do that. And I looked at her,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: like for what I said, baby? And I went through
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: this whole dissertation about the numbers of what I figured out,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: and she went to the one area that me, as
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: a man, I never even considered. And do you know
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: she was correct? Now, if if you're smart, you'll listen
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: to that, because I've not listened to it a couple
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: of times because I went, you know, you ain't did
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: the research, But the research don't matter. I'm telling you
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: and and and whatever she's told me not to do
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: something that went on and did it. I didn't work out, Tommy,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: what you tell your friends after you? After that? I
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: didn't say nothing to him. I just said, we ain't
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: doing it. Dog. I thought were quick. Thank you. I
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: win in that with what I thought already, and I'm
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: telling y'all don't go back in now. Very smart man.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: She was really really correct. Hey, y'all listen, have yourself
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: a great day. Talk to God. He would love to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: hear from you. When are you gonna make that a teacher?
