- 0:02Speaker 1: We're going to keep Bogram, the big airbase, that one
- 0:04Speaker 1: of the biggest airbases in the world. We gave it
- 0:06Speaker 1: to them for nothing. We're trying to get it back,
- 0:08Speaker 1: by the way, Okay, that could be a little breaking news.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We're trying to get it back because they need things
- 0:13Speaker 1: from us. We want that base back.
- 0:15Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:21Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. And here are two big
- 0:23Speaker 3: stories that we're covering this morning that you need to
- 0:26Speaker 3: know about. First up, Donald Trump announcing that the US
- 0:29Speaker 3: is trying to get Bogram Air Base back from the
- 0:32Speaker 3: Taliban in Afghanistan. Why is this so important, Well, it
- 0:36Speaker 3: deals with China, and I'll give you the details in
- 0:38Speaker 3: just a moment. Also, you would think that Democrats would
- 0:42Speaker 3: have learned from their rhetoric and stop using certain words
- 0:45Speaker 3: after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Well, apparently they haven't
- 0:48Speaker 3: learned anything. And now Hillary Clinton is out there on
- 0:52Speaker 3: the front lines activating the radical left and using words
- 0:56Speaker 3: like fascists already. But before I get to that, I
- 1:00Speaker 3: want to talk to you about my friends at Kirk
- 1:02Speaker 3: Elliott Precious Metals. Two days ago, I got my new
- 1:06Speaker 3: order of silver. Now I'm investing in silver right now
- 1:09Speaker 3: because the pricing on it is amazing and the upside well,
- 1:13Speaker 3: it's real. I actually have a one hundred ounce silver bar.
- 1:19Speaker 3: It is actually really cool. It's really heavy because it's
- 1:22Speaker 3: one hundred ounces. But I also know that I bought
- 1:25Speaker 3: it at the right price and I wasn't paying massive
- 1:28Speaker 3: up charges on quote. Rare are special coins, and then
- 1:32Speaker 3: when you go to sell them, you take away all
- 1:35Speaker 3: of your earning potential. Why do they do it this
- 1:38Speaker 3: way at Kurt Elliott because they have transparent pricing up front.
- 1:42Speaker 3: It's very simple. You pay eight percent when you buy,
- 1:46Speaker 3: and here's what matters to you the most, nothing when
- 1:49Speaker 3: you sell. There are no hidden fees ever with Kurt
- 1:53Speaker 3: Elliott Precious Metals. This is the reason why I recommend them.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's not just about investing, it's about making sure you
- 2:01Speaker 3: get more for your money. And that is exactly why
- 2:05Speaker 3: Kurt Elliott helps people all the time. Whether it's gold
- 2:08Speaker 3: or silver, you can hold it, be a good steward
- 2:11Speaker 3: of it, you can pass it on to future generations,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and you can build wealth with it. It's real bollyon,
- 2:17Speaker 3: never gimmicks, just investment grade gold and silver, No overpriced coins,
- 2:23Speaker 3: no flashy markups. And it's a company that I love
- 2:27Speaker 3: because they are a faith driven company. There's no pressure,
- 2:31Speaker 3: just honest care. They treat every client like family, offering
- 2:36Speaker 3: honest answers up front to help you make wise informed decisions. Now,
- 2:41Speaker 3: if you're seeking a partner when it comes to gold
- 2:44Speaker 3: and silver with an eternity mindset, visit ke PM dot
- 2:50Speaker 3: com slash ben. That's k e PM dot com slash ben.
- 2:56Speaker 3: You can also call them seven to two zero six
- 3:00Speaker 3: thirty nine hundred. That's seven two zero six o five
- 3:04Speaker 3: thirty nine hundred. So let's faithfully steward what God has
- 3:08Speaker 3: given so you can experience real peace now and for
- 3:12Speaker 3: generations to come. KPM dot com slash Ben. It's the
- 3:16Speaker 3: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:21Speaker 3: There's a very important story that has just broken and
- 3:24Speaker 3: no one is covering it, and that is the fact
- 3:26Speaker 3: that the President United States of America Donald Trump, is
- 3:29Speaker 3: now trying to get the Bogram airbase back from the
- 3:33Speaker 3: Taliban in Afghanistan. The President says that Bogram airfield is
- 3:37Speaker 3: an hour away from where China is making its nuclear weapons,
- 3:43Speaker 3: all the more reason why he says we need to
- 3:46Speaker 3: get it back. I want you to listen to what
- 3:49Speaker 3: the President had to say as he was over in
- 3:51Speaker 3: the UK and asked about it by the press.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Except that he didn't respect the leadership of the United States.
- 3:58Speaker 1: They just went through the Afghanistan total disaster for no
- 4:02Speaker 1: reason whatsoever. We're going to leave Afghanistan, but we're going
- 4:05Speaker 1: to leave it with strength and dignity, and we're going
- 4:08Speaker 1: to keep Bagram, the big air base, that one of
- 4:11Speaker 1: the biggest airbases in the world. We gave it to
- 4:13Speaker 1: them for nothing. We're trying to get it back. By
- 4:15Speaker 1: the way, okay, that could be a little breaking news.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We're trying to get it back because they need things
- 4:21Speaker 1: from us. We want that base back. But one of
- 4:24Speaker 1: the reasons we want the base is, as you know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: it's an hour away from which China makes its nuclear weapons.
- 4:30Speaker 3: This might be one of the most important stories of
- 4:33Speaker 3: the year when it comes to national security. Trying to
- 4:37Speaker 3: get it back. Saying that Afghanistan and they need stuff
- 4:40Speaker 3: from us. That is called the r of the deal
- 4:43Speaker 3: and leverage and in these remarks the press, while standing
- 4:46Speaker 3: alongside the UK Prime Minister Starmer the present criticized the
- 4:51Speaker 3: handling of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan under President Joe Biden.
- 4:55Speaker 3: And that's when he said, I've got a little breaking news.
- 4:58Speaker 3: We're trying to get it back. They need things from
- 5:01Speaker 3: us now. Trump did not expand on whom he was
- 5:04Speaker 3: referring to, or if he was referring to talking to
- 5:07Speaker 3: the Taliban, that is, the terrorist organization that took over
- 5:10Speaker 3: the country in twenty twenty one. What they need from
- 5:13Speaker 3: the United States of America is another question that people
- 5:16Speaker 3: should be asking. What he did say is we want
- 5:19Speaker 3: the base back and why because it's about our national
- 5:24Speaker 3: security with China and its nuclear weapons being made. As
- 5:27Speaker 3: he mentioned, they're very close, just one hour away now.
- 5:31Speaker 3: The White House has also not commented on this story
- 5:35Speaker 3: more than what the President has just said in the UK.
- 5:38Speaker 3: But what we do know is Back in March, Fox
- 5:41Speaker 3: News reported that the White House Hostage Envoy met in
- 5:45Speaker 3: person with Taliban officials at the Kabul International Airport as
- 5:50Speaker 3: he worked to secure the release of George Glesman. Sources
- 5:54Speaker 3: also confirmed that this was the first direct meeting between
- 5:58Speaker 3: a US administration and the terrorists run government since the
- 6:02Speaker 3: collapse of Kabul in twenty twenty one, as we had
- 6:06Speaker 3: that disastrous pull out of Afghanistan under Biden's leadership. A
- 6:11Speaker 3: report by the way by the AP also later said
- 6:14Speaker 3: that the Taliban were allegedly interested in normalizing ties with
- 6:18Speaker 3: the US after experiencing a virtual geopolitical blackout in international
- 6:24Speaker 3: diplomacy over its immense human rights abuses. We also know
- 6:29Speaker 3: that the envoy, along with others that were there, met
- 6:33Speaker 3: with the Taliban's foreign minister and reportedly discussed ways to
- 6:37Speaker 3: quote develop bilateral relations between the two countries, issues related
- 6:42Speaker 3: to citizens and investment opportunities in Afghanistan that according to
- 6:47Speaker 3: a Taliban statement, So this is not something that just
- 6:52Speaker 3: happened overnight. Clearly the President's been working on this quietly
- 6:56Speaker 3: for quite some time now. The removal of US troops
- 6:59Speaker 3: from Afghanistan and began during the first Trump administration in
- 7:02Speaker 3: March of twenty twenty, and open source intelligence showed that
- 7:07Speaker 3: the Taliban had been making gains across Afghanistan in the
- 7:11Speaker 3: year leading up to the twenty twenty one August disasters.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Withdraw under the Biden leadership. Now Under the deal forged
- 7:18Speaker 3: by the first Trump administration, the US agreed to withdraw
- 7:22Speaker 3: all US forces by May one of twenty twenty one,
- 7:26Speaker 3: but Biden extended the withdrawal date to August of twenty
- 7:30Speaker 3: twenty one, and then we saw him do the pullout.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Why because he wanted to celebrate that he's the one
- 7:37Speaker 3: that ended America's longest war on the anniversary of nine
- 7:41Speaker 3: to eleven, regardless of what was going on on the ground,
- 7:46Speaker 3: and there were lots of warnings that it was not
- 7:48Speaker 3: ready for us to leave. So here we are with
- 7:52Speaker 3: a president of the United States of America that wanted
- 7:55Speaker 3: American troops out all along, but also now we're trying
- 7:58Speaker 3: to just one hour away making their nuclear weapons. It
- 8:01Speaker 3: is in our national interest, in our national security interests,
- 8:06Speaker 3: to make sure that we do everything we can to
- 8:09Speaker 3: get back Bogram Air Base, and that's why the President
- 8:13Speaker 3: brought it up for the first time publicly.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Now. Story number two.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Democrats have not learned a damn thing about their rhetoric
- 8:21Speaker 3: since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In fact, if you
- 8:24Speaker 3: look at what they're saying, it's pretty clear they're doubling
- 8:27Speaker 3: down on their radical words. And trying to inspire others.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton now getting in on the action. She has
- 8:35Speaker 3: sparked a social media firestorm for promoting a book literally
- 8:41Speaker 3: warning about fascists and sick people. Clinton is ripping now authoritarians,
- 8:48Speaker 3: referencing Donald Trump while promoting the new book from Teachers
- 8:53Speaker 3: at Union chief Randy Winingarden, the former Secretary of State
- 8:58Speaker 3: and presidential candidate Quinton is getting blasted as she should
- 9:02Speaker 3: on social media for posting a picture supporting the American
- 9:06Speaker 3: Federation of Teachers president the chief's new book that suggests
- 9:11Speaker 3: her political opponents are in fact fascists. Congratulations, Hillary Clinton
- 9:17Speaker 3: said to my friend on quote. Why fascists fear teachers
- 9:23Speaker 3: from banning books to controlling curriculum. Authoritarians go after public
- 9:29Speaker 3: education because it's a quarterstone of democracy. Those are the
- 9:34Speaker 3: exact words posted by Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, along with
- 9:38Speaker 3: the picture of the American Federation of Teachers chief holding
- 9:42Speaker 3: the book. Randy's new book is a critical read for
- 9:46Speaker 3: this moment. She also wrote clearly talking about it, knowing
- 9:51Speaker 3: what had just happened to Charlie Kirk. Clinton was criticized
- 9:55Speaker 3: instantly by many conservatives online for the posts, which they
- 9:59Speaker 3: argue canntinue the smear campaign against political opponents that many
- 10:03Speaker 3: believe contributed to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Why because
- 10:08Speaker 3: these are the words that are used by the assassin.
- 10:11Speaker 3: It's been one week since Charlie Kirk was murdered by
- 10:14Speaker 3: a lunatic who wrote about fascists on the shell casings.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Is what one Republican said online. Now Randy has a
- 10:23Speaker 3: new book arguing everyone who disagrees with her views on
- 10:27Speaker 3: public education, which have destroyed public education in America, is
- 10:33Speaker 3: a fascist American culture project. Senior fellow writing this on X,
- 10:39Speaker 3: Hillary Clinton and Randy Wingarden are going full speed ahead
- 10:44Speaker 3: with this disgusting rhetoric right after Charlie Kirk's assassination. Sick people.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Charlie Kirk was murdered exactly one week ago. Another conservative online,
- 10:55Speaker 3: a friend of mine, Jack Pisovic, said, and here's Hillary
- 10:59Speaker 3: Clinton today. They wrote an entire book on a word
- 11:02Speaker 3: they don't even understand. Is what another member of the
- 11:06Speaker 3: Huntington Beach City Council said on X the Room. That's
- 11:11Speaker 3: why y'all should read. Is what the Washington Free Beacon
- 11:14Speaker 3: investigative reporter Chick Ross also said yet Hillary Clinton knew
- 11:18Speaker 3: what she was doing. She knew that this moment was
- 11:22Speaker 3: a moment she could bring people together, and instead she
- 11:25Speaker 3: wanted to make sure she incited more violence, using the
- 11:29Speaker 3: words to undermine any conservative out there and to justify
- 11:33Speaker 3: another assassination. Democrats Hillary Clinton and Randy Weingartner are still
- 11:39Speaker 3: suggesting Republicans are fascists, an account belonging to the Republican
- 11:44Speaker 3: National Committee put out so eloquently on x They really
- 11:49Speaker 3: can't help themselves, can they now. Fox News reached out
- 11:53Speaker 3: to Clinton's office for comment on her post, which has
- 11:57Speaker 3: now racked up more than two million views. Guess what,
- 12:01Speaker 3: they didn't have time to get back for comment. Have
- 12:04Speaker 3: they read the book? Is what Winegarten said in a
- 12:07Speaker 3: statement to Fox News Digital. If they did, they discover
- 12:10Speaker 3: it's a love letter to teachers. Winegarden's book, which hits
- 12:15Speaker 3: bookshelves this week, elaborates on reviews on battling what she
- 12:18Speaker 3: says is fascist ideology and how it works to undermine democracy, opportunity,
- 12:25Speaker 3: and public education as we know it. By the way,
- 12:28Speaker 3: we know that public education has been a total disaster,
- 12:33Speaker 3: and if you're a parent, that shows up your school
- 12:35Speaker 3: board meetings. The last administration of the FBI classified you
- 12:40Speaker 3: as a domestic terrorist. Now what is in the book, Well,
- 12:43Speaker 3: here's more of it. Attacks on schools and teachers have
- 12:46Speaker 3: long been a hallmark of fascist regimes, clearly referencing Donald Trump.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Throughout history, as many dictators rose to power, they began
- 12:55Speaker 3: banning books and controlling curriculum. The book's preview reads, fascist
- 13:00Speaker 3: fear teachers because teachers foster and education and educated and
- 13:05Speaker 3: empowered population that can see past the propaganda and the
- 13:10Speaker 3: scare tactics. Fascists fear teachers because they teach young people
- 13:14Speaker 3: how to think for themselves. Now, let's be clear. The
- 13:19Speaker 3: Democratic Party has taken over the education system. It's where
- 13:24Speaker 3: they've indoctrinated children to be ashamed of America, not be
- 13:27Speaker 3: proud of it. It's where they've indoctrinated children to hate
- 13:31Speaker 3: this country. It's where they've indoctrinated children to believe that
- 13:35Speaker 3: anyone that disagrees with them is somehow instantly a fascist
- 13:40Speaker 3: or a Nazi or Adolf Hitler, and they should be
- 13:43Speaker 3: taken out. We also know the youngest generation, forty two
- 13:48Speaker 3: percent of them say in new polling that it is
- 13:51Speaker 3: appropriate to use violence to go after people you disagree with,
- 13:57Speaker 3: as long as you justify as saying you're trying to
- 14:00Speaker 3: stop evil. This is the Democratic Party, and if you
- 14:04Speaker 3: think for a moment they're gonna stop actually doing these
- 14:09Speaker 3: types of things and learn from the assassination Charlie Kirk,
- 14:13Speaker 3: your wrong. They look at this as a success and
- 14:16Speaker 3: they're still using the same words that were used by
- 14:19Speaker 3: the assassin to justify the killing of one of our own.
