- 1:44Speaker 4: turn the mouth turn out.
- 1:46Speaker 3: A word of the money wouldn't come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 5: You think, Uh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 5: listening to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:08Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, oh man,
- 2:13Speaker 5: oh man.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 5: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 5: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:23Speaker 5: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 5: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:30Speaker 5: it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 5: formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it. That's
- 2:39Speaker 5: that's it. I can't tell you as anything else else.
- 2:42Speaker 5: You know, I've always had a strong work ethic. My
- 2:45Speaker 5: father put that in me. My father's conversation with me
- 2:48Speaker 5: growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy,
- 2:53Speaker 5: be a man, do what you say you're gonna do.
- 2:55Speaker 6: YadA, YadA, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Man, I was so tired of my father At times,
- 2:59Speaker 5: I was going, Man, what is with this dude right here? Man,
- 3:02Speaker 5: every time we have a conversation, it's got to be
- 3:04Speaker 5: about work. It's got to be about, you know, man,
- 3:08Speaker 5: doing your best, trying hard, you know, working, being honest,
- 3:12Speaker 5: do what you say you're gonna do. But that was
- 3:15Speaker 5: his mission. I can't tell you how much I appreciate
- 3:18Speaker 5: that now. I can't even I can't even put it
- 3:22Speaker 5: into words when I think about my old man and
- 3:25Speaker 5: what he was to me, and I just, man, I'm
- 3:31Speaker 5: so grateful for that balance I had in my life.
- 3:33Speaker 5: And then my father was a fighter. He fought on
- 3:37Speaker 5: the weekends.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 5: My father used to come home with his with his
- 3:42Speaker 5: clothes toe off of him. He put a fresh shirt
- 3:45Speaker 5: on and he go back. My mama used to talk
- 3:47Speaker 5: about my father fighting all the time, slick, while you
- 3:50Speaker 5: are always fighting. You know a little bit of that
- 3:53Speaker 5: rubbed off on me too. You know that that kind
- 3:55Speaker 5: of got into me. And I didn't understand that either,
- 3:59Speaker 5: But then I'm the same. My mother was a Sunday
- 4:01Speaker 5: school teacher for forty years, so her conversation was never
- 4:04Speaker 5: about fighting anything. It was all about love and understanding
- 4:08Speaker 5: and doing another that you would have to do unto you.
- 4:10Speaker 5: My mom was a Sunday school teacher, so I learned
- 4:13Speaker 5: about faith. I had to go to Sunday school, prayer meeting,
- 4:16Speaker 5: Bible study, young people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know, I
- 4:20Speaker 5: was a church man so much. I was actually looking
- 4:23Speaker 5: as there's got to be an alternative to this, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 5: I want, you know, And I was a little kid
- 4:28Speaker 5: even I was thinking at one point, maybe I ought
- 4:31Speaker 5: to look into Hell because there's got to be something
- 4:33Speaker 5: cooler than this going on every day. It had got
- 4:36Speaker 5: that crazy for me. But the balance between those two
- 4:40Speaker 5: people created who I am today. And I want you
- 4:43Speaker 5: to understand that the things that you are in your
- 4:46Speaker 5: past have helped create who you are today. If you
- 4:50Speaker 5: view it the right way, everything that has happened to
- 4:54Speaker 5: you in your past has happened to you for a reason,
- 4:59Speaker 5: and it's usually for the good if you view it
- 5:02Speaker 5: that way. But if you, on the other hand, are
- 5:07Speaker 5: a type of person who can't move forward because you
- 5:10Speaker 5: are allowing your past to stop you from having your future,
- 5:15Speaker 5: then you, my friend, are doing a disservice to your life.
- 5:21Speaker 5: You are not honoring God's blessings. You are not taking
- 5:25Speaker 5: advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom, and experience of your life.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Example, if you.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Are a woman and you are always talking about a
- 5:39Speaker 5: former relationship, what he did to me. If he had
- 5:44Speaker 5: not did this to me, I wouldn't be in this
- 5:48Speaker 5: place today. I thought I had a man. Now I
- 5:52Speaker 5: ain't got no man ah llah lah lah la la
- 5:57Speaker 5: if I you know, he came along and I was
- 6:00Speaker 5: doing just swell. He just came in and he just
- 6:03Speaker 5: lied to me. He lied to.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Me, nod.
- 6:06Speaker 5: He did this to me, then he cheated, then he left.
- 6:10Speaker 5: All of that that you're saying can very well be true.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Have you thought that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom,
- 6:25Speaker 5: that he knew that you had made a mistake in
- 6:29Speaker 5: picking him anyway? Maybe he knew you had made a
- 6:33Speaker 5: mistake in saying yes or I do to him anyway,
- 6:38Speaker 5: or come on, move in?
- 6:41Speaker 6: And so what he did was.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Based on your decision now to say yes, I do,
- 6:48Speaker 5: or come on, let's move in together. That was your decision.
- 6:51Speaker 5: You ain't go to him about this one. You made
- 6:55Speaker 5: this decision based on that decision and all the negative
- 6:59Speaker 5: things that started happening. He allowed you to get away
- 7:03Speaker 5: from it. Now how you got away from it, It's
- 7:06Speaker 5: always not the choice of ours. See, you stuck on
- 7:11Speaker 5: the fact that he left, that he walked out. But
- 7:14Speaker 5: let me share this with you. When he was there,
- 7:17Speaker 5: how good was he?
- 7:18Speaker 6: Tell you?
- 7:18Speaker 5: How good was he for you? See, you got to
- 7:23Speaker 5: stare at you got to look at the blessing. The
- 7:26Speaker 5: blessing is. Now you are on your own. Now you
- 7:30Speaker 5: walk in your house. Ain't nobody in there with a
- 7:32Speaker 5: disruptive spirit. Now you go home. You could take your
- 7:36Speaker 5: clothes off, walk around like you want to. Now you
- 7:39Speaker 5: go home, you can sit down and look at TV
- 7:42Speaker 5: or catch your breath if you want to. Your kids
- 7:47Speaker 5: don't have to see y'all arguing all the time. Have
- 7:50Speaker 5: you looked at the blessing in it? But now if
- 7:54Speaker 5: you gonna keep looking at the negative, then guess what.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Now you can't move forward because you keep allowing your past.
- 8:03Speaker 6: To keep you from moving forward.
- 8:06Speaker 5: If God has brought you through it, why don't you
- 8:09Speaker 5: move on from it? Look, you got through it, He gone,
- 8:13Speaker 5: he ain't coming back. He got somebody else. So you
- 8:17Speaker 5: gonna sit there and just keep tripping. Becauts he gone
- 8:20Speaker 5: and he got somebody else. Hey, pick yourself up. Thank
- 8:24Speaker 5: God for the blessing. It didn't feel like a blessing.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Why you was going through it, and all the pain
- 8:30Speaker 5: of him leaving and the divorce and all that messed
- 8:33Speaker 5: you up? Got it when you get through it, all
- 8:36Speaker 5: of that. You ain't the first one being left. You
- 8:38Speaker 5: ain't the first one being divorced. You ain't the first
- 8:41Speaker 5: one been in a bad relationship. Pick yourself up, thank
- 8:45Speaker 5: God for the blessing, and move forward in your life,
- 8:49Speaker 5: because maybe when you quit complaining, maybe you'll find out
- 8:54Speaker 5: that God has something in store for you that he
- 8:57Speaker 5: wants you to have, but he can't give it to
- 9:00Speaker 5: you if you ain't grateful. So God gives you a blessing,
- 9:04Speaker 5: but because you don't see it as a blessing, you
- 9:06Speaker 5: ain't grateful for it. Now, guess what, You steady asking
- 9:10Speaker 5: God to do something for you, but you ain't thanking
- 9:13Speaker 5: him for what he's done for you, but you steady
- 9:15Speaker 5: wanting him to do more.
- 9:17Speaker 6: How does that work? How does that work?
- 9:20Speaker 7: Man?
- 9:20Speaker 5: That he should keep on giving you things when you
- 9:23Speaker 5: ain't even working with the stuff he done gave you
- 9:27Speaker 5: and I don't know, And I'm just using that one example.
- 9:30Speaker 5: It could go for me and too, vice versa, and
- 9:33Speaker 5: so on and so forth. I'm just using that as
- 9:35Speaker 5: an example. Now why I laid on that one so long?
- 9:39Speaker 6: You have to take that over God, That's all just sweet.
- 9:41Speaker 5: I ain't pointing fingers at nobody in nothing, because I've
- 9:45Speaker 5: been guilty on both sides of the coin.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Who am I?
- 9:48Speaker 5: But I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 5: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:54Speaker 5: interfere with my future.
- 9:59Speaker 8: Morning show, rise and sign, give yourself that stretch that
- 10:04Speaker 8: morning you on and sit on the edge of the bed,
- 10:06Speaker 8: thank the man, and then you got to get up,
- 10:07Speaker 8: get out and get something. It is the nephew holding

- 10:33Speaker 8: morning as we bring it to you as ignorant as
- 10:36Speaker 8: possibly as we can. I will be stupid and try
- 10:40Speaker 8: to be uh educated at the same time.
- 10:46Speaker 6: If you don't think so, we can't wrap all that
- 10:48Speaker 6: up in the wall. You can't be You're just eager.
- 10:52Speaker 8: Education, education, stupid and well I'll be I'll be Timmy,
- 10:59Speaker 8: You and Thomas.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Can I do that? Can I be talking to Thomas?

- 11:45Speaker 8: have no earthly idea.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Did you guys went to Rome last year? Right?
- 11:48Speaker 6: We can't top Rome? I told y'all about the church

- 14:18Speaker 13: Okay?
- 14:18Speaker 8: You bring your clothes here pretty much on a on
- 14:21Speaker 8: a weekly basis, is that correct?
- 14:22Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 14:23Speaker 12: I stopped probably once a week.

- 14:51Speaker 12: I'll write them, what kind of problem could we have?
- 14:54Speaker 8: Well, the ladies that are washing the clothes are complaining
- 14:56Speaker 8: that when you bring your load in. I mean, I
- 14:59Speaker 8: don't know how to really tell you this, but you're
- 15:01Speaker 8: saying that your underwear is too dirty they.
- 15:02Speaker 6: Don't want to wash it.
- 15:04Speaker 12: You know you playing right?
- 15:07Speaker 6: No, I'm dead serious.
- 15:09Speaker 12: What are you talking about? My underwear is dirty.
- 15:12Speaker 13: I'm not any more dirty than anybody else, Sir.
- 15:15Speaker 8: All I can tell you is we wash quite a
- 15:17Speaker 8: few people's clothes on daily basis, weekly basis. For my
- 15:20Speaker 8: employees to complain about your load, then I have to
- 15:24Speaker 8: give you a call and talk to you about it.
- 15:26Speaker 12: My man, I feel like you're on my phone.
- 15:29Speaker 8: No, that's not what this is, bro. This is actually
- 15:31Speaker 8: a call. And you know we have we have two options.
- 15:35Speaker 13: Are you out there calling everybody else?
- 15:37Speaker 6: No, I don't have it. I haven't had a complaint.
- 15:40Speaker 7: I know there's more dirty people than me going in
- 15:42Speaker 7: your spot because I see them.
- 15:44Speaker 8: Okay, here's a deal. We have two options here. You
- 15:47Speaker 8: can scrub your underwear before you bring it in.
- 15:51Speaker 13: First off, you over here raising your voice. Now, what
- 15:54Speaker 13: are you talking about? Scrubb my underwear? We clean, man,
- 15:57Speaker 13: I'm clean.
- 15:57Speaker 7: I bring my sin, I drop it off, I pick
- 16:00Speaker 7: it up.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Okay, so here's a problem. Once again, I'll start this off.
- 16:03Speaker 8: You have two options, sir. You can bring in your
- 16:06Speaker 8: stuff scrubbed. Okay, When and when my ladies take a
- 16:10Speaker 8: look at it, if they're comfortable with cleaning it, so
- 16:12Speaker 8: be it. Or you know, we might not be able
- 16:14Speaker 8: to accept your your clothes anymore.
- 16:16Speaker 7: Man, I don't even got to go up there anymore.
- 16:17Speaker 7: Then if you if you really playing around on my
- 16:19Speaker 7: phone like this, I even got to go up in
- 16:21Speaker 7: the anymore. Let me talk to your manager.
- 16:22Speaker 8: Man, I am the manager, Sir, I'm Kevin.
- 16:26Speaker 13: You don't sound like the manager. How are you?
- 16:29Speaker 7: What?
- 16:29Speaker 12: What?
- 16:30Speaker 6: What does a manager sound like?
- 16:32Speaker 2: Then?
- 16:32Speaker 13: Sammy, you know who owned the building. Let me talk
- 16:35Speaker 13: to him.
- 16:35Speaker 8: Okay, here's out here right now. I'm the manager and
- 16:37Speaker 8: I'm the one taking care of this problem. My ladies
- 16:40Speaker 8: have a problem with washing your underwear, and I'm calling
- 16:42Speaker 8: you to let you know there's a problem.
- 16:44Speaker 6: I'm letting you know.
- 16:44Speaker 8: The way to rectify the problem is you can scrub
- 16:47Speaker 8: them before you bring them in and then we will
- 16:49Speaker 8: wash them. If you do not want to do that,
- 16:51Speaker 8: we will not be allowed to take.
- 16:52Speaker 7: You ain't got to rectify. You just need to quit
- 16:54Speaker 7: calling my phone on this boot. I ain't gonna go
- 16:57Speaker 7: up there no more. Then, that's fine.
- 16:58Speaker 13: I ain't got to come through your spot fun.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Do you know how dirty how funky your clothes got
- 17:03Speaker 6: to be? Man?
- 17:04Speaker 8: For my for my people to be telling me they
- 17:05Speaker 8: don't want to watch them the morning.
- 17:06Speaker 6: You're not how funky? That's got the beef? Sammy?
- 17:09Speaker 8: Man?
- 17:09Speaker 13: Who your people? Who are your ladies? Man? I go
- 17:12Speaker 13: up in there. I ain't never had a problem with they.
- 17:15Speaker 13: You know what, I ain't never even seen yourself? And
- 17:17Speaker 13: this mother? What are you being at there now? It
- 17:20Speaker 13: looks like I got a problem with Kevin? Who is Kevin?
- 17:22Speaker 14: Man?
- 17:22Speaker 13: You say you the manager? You ain't never been there.
- 17:25Speaker 6: I'm here. I'm just not here when you're here?
- 17:27Speaker 13: Are you in the back washing those draws? What's going
- 17:30Speaker 13: on with you?
- 17:30Speaker 12: Man?
- 17:31Speaker 8: I'm not in the I'm not in the back washing,

- 22:15Speaker 8: tell me what it was.
- 22:16Speaker 6: I did not like that man. That was so uncool.

- 22:35Speaker 1: Noses like, this.
- 22:38Speaker 8: Wasn't no chicken. There wasn't no chicken. But to answer

- 34:37Speaker 1: Finally.
- 34:38Speaker 11: In Entertainment News, Nellie surprised a shanty when he got
- 34:43Speaker 11: down on one knee with a ring as they were
- 34:47Speaker 11: just hanging out in the bedroom, they were just as pregnant,
- 34:52Speaker 11: all right. Yeah, a Shanty admitted to Entertainment Tonight that
- 34:56Speaker 11: she was just wearing a pair of Nelly's boxers and
- 34:58Speaker 11: one of his T shirts during this intimate moment. She said,
- 35:02Speaker 11: I had no idea. I felt like it was gonna
- 35:04Speaker 11: come soon. I just didn't know when. Shanti also said,
- 35:08Speaker 11: I cried. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever.
- 35:11Speaker 11: I facetimed everyone I know. I was overjoyed and shocked
- 35:15Speaker 11: and surprised and happy, kind of like all in one.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Okay, congratulations, Ain't nothing.
- 35:23Speaker 6: Like your baby and your boxer. You know what I'm saying.
- 35:25Speaker 6: Ain't not like that. That's just it.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Just look, how did you guys propose? How did you
- 35:31Speaker 1: guys propose? You're the newlywed? How did you do?
- 35:34Speaker 9: Just told my wife, Hey, I got on a knee
- 35:37Speaker 9: and here we know where special where y'all at the apartment?
- 35:41Speaker 1: In the kitchen?
- 35:43Speaker 8: Okay, like Nellie, it was the dishes at least clean, I.
- 35:49Speaker 10: Didn't we started cookingerator all right?
- 35:55Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Congratulations Nelly
- 35:59Speaker 1: and a Shanty.
- 35:59Speaker 11: Again, who would you uncanceled? We'll talk about it right
- 36:04Speaker 11: after this.
- 36:05Speaker 6: There was some season on the counter.
- 36:08Speaker 11: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. Here's a question, guys, who
- 36:13Speaker 11: would you uncancel?
- 36:15Speaker 6: All right?
- 36:16Speaker 1: So, actor Kevin Spacey. You guys know who he is
- 36:18Speaker 1: from House of Cards? Remember him? He did a lot
- 36:20Speaker 1: of incredible actor.
- 36:22Speaker 11: Yes, very very good actor. Well, anyway, he's on a
- 36:26Speaker 11: comeback tour now. Last week he sat for a ninety
- 36:29Speaker 11: minute interview on Pierce Morgan Show, saying he wants to return.
- 36:32Speaker 1: To acting full time.
- 36:33Speaker 11: Spacey's career was derailed by multiple allegations of sexual misconduct,
- 36:38Speaker 11: and though Spacey has been cleared in the court cases
- 36:41Speaker 11: against him, he also acknowledges that he was too handsy.
- 36:45Speaker 11: He acknowledges that he was too handsy in the past. Okay,
- 36:49Speaker 11: so here's a question. Does the fact that he had
- 36:52Speaker 11: been cleared in two court cases make a difference to you? Yes,
- 36:55Speaker 11: he's an incredible actor, but do you still want to
- 36:57Speaker 11: see him on the screen and all of that? Would
- 37:00Speaker 11: you go see his next movie?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Would you? And Part two? Who would you uncanceled?
- 37:05Speaker 8: I would go see space I would And I think
- 37:08Speaker 8: the fact that he's been cleared. I mean once you
- 37:10Speaker 8: once you get through court, and you've gone through, when
- 37:11Speaker 8: you've been cleared twice, I mean we're just gonna judge
- 37:14Speaker 8: him forever and he can't come back to work. I
- 37:16Speaker 8: think he should be able to come back to work.
- 37:17Speaker 6: That's just me.
- 37:19Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 1: What about Jonathan Majors?
- 37:22Speaker 8: After after I saw the tape of Jonathan running away
- 37:25Speaker 8: from somebody through New York. Yeah, let's uncanceled Jonathan so
- 37:30Speaker 8: he can come on back to work. Yes, yes, yes too.
- 37:34Speaker 10: You know I was thinking Ellen Ellen Degeneral. Oh yeah,
- 37:38Speaker 10: she deserves to be uncanceled, you know.
- 37:40Speaker 11: I love Yeah, yeah, you a special way.
- 37:46Speaker 6: Yeah, Ellen and Judge Judy. You got.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Ellen, Judge Judy and Halle Berry. You talk about me
- 37:58Speaker 1: and Morgan Freeman. Okay, right right.
- 38:02Speaker 10: What about you guys? So you think who comes the
- 38:04Speaker 10: top of mind? I think definitely Jonathan Majors.
- 38:08Speaker 9: Yeah, because he repaid the price, I mean lost his
- 38:10Speaker 9: job in Marvel all the shows and its talented actor.
- 38:13Speaker 6: And he was running through New York.
- 38:15Speaker 9: I mean we just saw all the way from Yeah,
- 38:19Speaker 9: just running turning Conners and that trench coat was just
- 38:22Speaker 9: flapping in the wind as he went down ten then eleven,
- 38:26Speaker 9: then fifteenth, and you know down to twenty third.
- 38:29Speaker 6: That he looked like, yeah, just going.
- 38:36Speaker 1: He can come back, if he can come back, because
- 38:38Speaker 1: here stylist, if he changes his wardrobe. Somebody said to.
- 38:41Speaker 9: Anybody with Jesse, Jesse, just to spill it, anybody, okay, yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 10: Right, yeah, okay, he deserves this, Yeah, deserves come back.
- 38:52Speaker 10: You know, we had to let it marinate for a
- 38:53Speaker 10: little while.
- 38:54Speaker 6: I see, but don't don't come back. Don't but don't
- 38:57Speaker 6: come back lying again.
- 38:59Speaker 8: Don't you know that in the process. Okay, you know,
- 39:02Speaker 8: damn well you done at their sub but don't do
- 39:04Speaker 8: not come back line again. It ain't nobody bung you
- 39:07Speaker 8: little right strings stopped that, you know, Okay.
- 39:12Speaker 10: What a maga hat and none of that, None of
- 39:14Speaker 10: that happened, None of that.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he had canceled for Lyne, all right.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Coming up.
- 39:24Speaker 11: In thirty four minutes after the hour, twenty eight people
- 39:27Speaker 11: were stuck upside down on an amusement park ride. We'll
- 39:30Speaker 11: talk about these adventure thrill seekers right after this. You're
- 39:34Speaker 11: listening Hardy Morning Show, you guys hear about this story.
- 39:39Speaker 11: A group of twenty eight thrill seekers were left dangling
- 39:42Speaker 11: upside down with a head rush. Last week, this happened
- 39:46Speaker 11: when an amusement park attraction in Portland, Oregon, malfunction, trapping
- 39:50Speaker 11: the writers for about thirty minutes. Can you imagine being
- 39:53Speaker 11: trapped upside down for thirty nine whoa passengers became stuck
- 39:59Speaker 11: on a swinging pendulum ride called Atmosphere. Okay, I get
- 40:04Speaker 11: the beer park for sure now. According to a statement
- 40:07Speaker 11: from the park, the ride stopped at the apex position
- 40:10Speaker 11: while operating in the three hundred and sixty degree setting,
- 40:13Speaker 11: suspending about twenty eight riders upside down.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:17Speaker 11: First responders arrived at the park and maintenance crews were
- 40:20Speaker 11: able to return the ride to the ground in order
- 40:23Speaker 11: to unload all twenty eight patrons. Their health was assessed
- 40:26Speaker 11: by Portland Fire and Rescue officials. Okay, that's a good thing,
- 40:29Speaker 11: and no injuries were reported. That's also a good thing.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 40:36Speaker 11: So yeah that I love roller coasters, love roller.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Coasters, but that would scare me to peace.
- 40:42Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, question, what's an adventure story from your past?
- 40:47Speaker 1: And what adventure do you want to have before you die?
- 40:50Speaker 6: Oh? God?
- 40:51Speaker 8: Oh well, first of all, if I was on that ride,
- 40:54Speaker 8: they wouldn't be to use that ride no motive.
- 40:56Speaker 6: You why because I didn't.
- 41:00Speaker 8: It's a lot to believe. Yeah, everything is below that ride.
- 41:04Speaker 8: It's gonna take a while to get that cleaned up
- 41:06Speaker 8: because time it was up there upside down. It's gonna
- 41:08Speaker 8: take a minute to get get all that concrete clean.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Thirty minutes.
- 41:13Speaker 3: That's a lot.
- 41:14Speaker 6: That's why everybody on this ride.
- 41:20Speaker 9: So I don't do stuff like that. I don't want
- 41:21Speaker 9: to do nothing called atmosphere. I like Puff the Magic Dragon.
- 41:24Speaker 9: It's really nice. It's a nice little kiddy ride. Don't
- 41:27Speaker 9: go fast, it turn real light and the song played too,
- 41:31Speaker 9: So I like that, sing long and ride.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I'm not going on no atmosphere.
- 41:35Speaker 12: No.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like.
- 41:37Speaker 8: When we go to Disney. What we want to do.
- 41:39Speaker 8: We want to go to Sore and we want to
- 41:40Speaker 8: sit down. Yeah, sit down, watch a movie and we out.

- 42:11Speaker 8: friend popped out of there, out of the boat, and
- 42:14Speaker 8: we couldn't find him for about sixty seconds. We did
- 42:19Speaker 8: not see him for about sixty seconds, and we looked
- 42:21Speaker 8: way down the river and he was popping.
- 42:24Speaker 6: He had popped up and holding onto a rock man.
- 42:26Speaker 8: We got out when we got him, we got out
- 42:29Speaker 8: that river and walked the rest of the way down
- 42:31Speaker 8: with the little raft in our hand. It was that scary.
- 42:34Speaker 8: I'll never do that again. I never ride rapids ever again.

- 54:14Speaker 1: Letter, thanking for you.
- 54:15Speaker 11: Subject My house, my rules. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been
- 54:19Speaker 11: married for four years and I just had my first
- 54:21Speaker 11: child at age forty. My husband has two children from
- 54:25Speaker 11: a previous marriage. When I came home with the baby,
- 54:28Speaker 11: he had his two children at my house and it
- 54:31Speaker 11: was a mess. His son is fourteen and his daughter
- 54:34Speaker 11: is eleven. My husband said they're not used to cleaning up,
- 54:38Speaker 11: so he would get to it. His entitled children have
- 54:41Speaker 11: a housekeeper at their main home with their mom, so
- 54:44Speaker 11: they don't have to lift a finger. I didn't speak
- 54:46Speaker 11: to him for days because the house was filthy, and
- 54:49Speaker 11: he shouldn't have me and our newborn daughter come home
- 54:52Speaker 11: to filth. I told his ex wife that she should
- 54:55Speaker 11: start now. It's not too late to give the kids
- 54:57Speaker 11: basic chores around the home. Agreed but she said the
- 55:01Speaker 11: children complain when they're tired or want to be with
- 55:03Speaker 11: their friends instead of cleaning up. I wasn't that concerned
- 55:06Speaker 11: about what goes on at her house, but I told
- 55:10Speaker 11: her they need to be ready to keep my house
- 55:12Speaker 11: clean when they're visiting us. Then she got testy and
- 55:15Speaker 11: said they're not visiting, they live at my house too.
- 55:19Speaker 11: I reminded her that her ex husband moved into my home,
- 55:22Speaker 11: so they are still guests in my home when they
- 55:24Speaker 11: come over. She called my husband, and I was irritated
- 55:28Speaker 11: that he even took the time to hear her out,
- 55:30Speaker 11: and even more irritated that he said he was offended
- 55:33Speaker 11: by what I told his ex wife. I told him that,
- 55:36Speaker 11: by all means, his children are welcome, but it's still
- 55:39Speaker 11: my home and all of my household rules apply, so
- 55:42Speaker 11: the kids will be cleaning up behind themselves over here.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Why are he and his.
- 55:48Speaker 11: Ex wife against instilling the values of cleanliness in their kids?
- 55:51Speaker 11: Am I out of line for how I want to
- 55:53Speaker 11: run my house? Help me understand?
- 55:56Speaker 1: All right? I blame your husband for this mess. I
- 55:58Speaker 1: really do and know you're not wrong.
- 56:00Speaker 11: The kids should know how to at least clean up
- 56:03Speaker 11: after themselves.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Eleven and fourteen. Even if they do have.
- 56:06Speaker 11: A housekeeper at their mom's house, they should know the basics,
- 56:10Speaker 11: and that's on the parents to teach them. You're also
- 56:13Speaker 11: right that at eleven and fourteen, it's not too late
- 56:15Speaker 11: to teach them just the basic stuff. Your husband dropped
- 56:19Speaker 11: the ball, and his ex resents what you said about
- 56:21Speaker 11: her precious, messy babies she does. Yes, it's her house,
- 56:26Speaker 11: but if her ex husband is living there with the kids,
- 56:28Speaker 11: it's all of you guys's house, and you have rules
- 56:31Speaker 11: that were in place before all of them got there.
- 56:34Speaker 11: Your husband should not only side with you against her,
- 56:37Speaker 11: but he shouldn't want his brand new baby to come
- 56:40Speaker 11: home to a nasty house. I mean, what sense does
- 56:43Speaker 11: that make. All is not lost because you said they
- 56:46Speaker 11: are welcome. Both you and your husband need to be
- 56:50Speaker 11: on the same page, though. That's the only way your
- 56:53Speaker 11: plan to give them chores, and I'm sure it's going
- 56:55Speaker 11: to be light chores. That's the only way it's going
- 56:58Speaker 11: to work. They need to learn to respect their home
- 57:01Speaker 11: wherever it is, if it's with their mom, if it's
- 57:03Speaker 11: at your house, with their dad, and for that you
- 57:07Speaker 11: need your husband's support. So hopefully he'll give it to you.
- 57:11Speaker 11: Hopefully he'll give it to you.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Tommy.
- 57:14Speaker 8: All Right, y'all know how I am about cleansiness. So
- 57:18Speaker 8: I'm gonna say.
- 57:19Speaker 11: This, Yes, cleansiness.
- 57:25Speaker 8: Next to god lettiness. Yes, yes, my own creations. I
- 57:34Speaker 8: hate to say this, and then I don't know. I
- 57:37Speaker 8: don't think I'm being petty. You need to leave his
- 57:40Speaker 8: nasty ass. That's what you need to do. I'm sorry.
- 57:43Speaker 8: I am sorry. He nasty, The kids is nasty, the
- 57:48Speaker 8: ex wife is nasty. And if your new baby get
- 57:51Speaker 8: around any of them, your baby girl gonna be nasty.
- 57:54Speaker 8: You need to get out while you can. You forty,
- 57:58Speaker 8: you forty years old. You ain't got time raise these
- 58:00Speaker 8: damn kids at farty you got you got a brand
- 58:02Speaker 8: new babe. This is your first child. You ain't got
- 58:04Speaker 8: time to deal with these other two kids. They nasty? Okay,
- 58:08Speaker 8: so we can. We can try this if you want
- 58:10Speaker 8: the problem I really got.
- 58:11Speaker 6: He offended.
- 58:12Speaker 8: He offended by the way you talk to his ex wife.
- 58:17Speaker 8: I don't care. I think you need to get out
- 58:19Speaker 8: of this relationship. That's what I think. I'm sorry. If
- 58:22Speaker 8: you call me petty, if you want to call me petty,
- 58:25Speaker 8: you're not gonna be able to change these kids, because
- 58:27Speaker 8: guess what, they don't want to change their children. They
- 58:29Speaker 8: don't want to change their children. They are letting their
- 58:31Speaker 8: children do whatever they want. They're raising them that way.
- 58:34Speaker 8: You're not gonna be able to do it. Just when
- 58:35Speaker 8: the times that they come over to your house, and
- 58:37Speaker 8: you already saying, when they come over here, they're gonna
- 58:39Speaker 8: have to do this, do this that. He gonna fight
- 58:41Speaker 8: you on it, the kids gonna fight you on it.
- 58:42Speaker 8: The mama gonna be over there tripping from across the way.
- 58:45Speaker 8: You do not have time. You are faty. Get out now,
- 58:48Speaker 8: you and your baby, get out, put these people out
- 58:50Speaker 8: of your house, change your lots, and.
- 58:51Speaker 6: Be done with it.
- 58:53Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying. We got to get a divorce
- 58:55Speaker 8: and get these people out of it. We can't do nasty. Well,
- 58:57Speaker 8: I just I don't do nasty. We got the get
- 59:00Speaker 8: them out of this house.
- 59:01Speaker 6: We do not. They don't live here no more.
- 59:03Speaker 8: Let's get a divorce from this man, start over, have
- 59:06Speaker 8: your child, raise your baby by yourself, and get you
- 59:09Speaker 8: get you what. Surely, surely we can't. We just not
- 59:13Speaker 8: finding out how nasty his ass we was. We didn't
- 59:15Speaker 8: know it We didn't know it, but as soon as
- 59:17Speaker 8: we came home from the hospital, these kids inn told
- 59:20Speaker 8: this house up. And he ain't helped do nothing either.
- 59:22Speaker 6: So what we finna do.
- 59:24Speaker 8: We got to get rid of this man. This man
- 59:25Speaker 8: got to go. You'll relationship ain't finna be the same.
- 59:28Speaker 8: He fins to he fends to be nasty more than
- 59:32Speaker 8: what you thought. Now it's all coming out. See one
- 59:35Speaker 8: thing I learned about nasty. You can't hold it back.
- 59:37Speaker 8: It's gonna show up it do.
- 59:39Speaker 6: You can't. You can't. You can't keep nasty down.
- 59:42Speaker 8: Nasty gonna show up, whether it's in the bathroom, the garage,
- 59:46Speaker 8: the kitchen, in these kids' bedroom, Nasty gonna show up
- 59:50Speaker 8: every single time.
- 59:52Speaker 6: It ain't long. It ain't like you.
- 59:54Speaker 8: Can't suppress nasty. It's gonna show up. So all you
- 59:57Speaker 8: gotta do, baby is get your mind together and say,
- 59:59Speaker 8: you know what Tommy. Tommy is right, I'm finna give
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: my baby. We're fin to put these people out of
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: our house. And that's it. If you want to stick
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: to sit there and deal with it, all I can
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: say is whoop everybody ass you got whoop? The kids ass?
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: Whoop their mama As the kids as who their mama.
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: You want to stay that with it. If you want
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: to stay there with you got to whoop everybody ass
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: and start from scrap. Now, I said, get out, that's
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: just me. All right, all.
- 1:00:21Speaker 11: Right, we'll have part two of today's Strawberry Letter. We'll
- 1:00:25Speaker 11: get some response from Junior coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject my house,
- 1:00:32Speaker 11: My Rules. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: I asked, what, okay, whoop can't solve everything?
- 1:00:37Speaker 16: Okay, you're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:44Speaker 11: All right, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: is my house, my rules. Forty year old woman wrote
- 1:00:50Speaker 11: in she just had a baby at the age of forty.
- 1:00:53Speaker 11: She's been married for four years to her husband, who
- 1:00:56Speaker 11: has two children from his previous marriage. Now, when this
- 1:01:00Speaker 11: woman came home with her baby, brand newborn, brand new
- 1:01:03Speaker 11: newborn baby, she came in, the house was filthy.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Now you got the husband and who his two kids,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: eleven and fourteen, staying there. They didn't have the sense
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: to clean the house up when the mom was coming
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: with the new baby. So the husband told her that
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the kids aren't used to cleaning up. But the husband
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: could have handled it. But anyway, she called his children entitled.
- 1:01:26Speaker 11: They have a housekeeper at their house, so they don't
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: clean up over there. The parents didn't teach them to
- 1:01:31Speaker 11: clean up. But you know, you should know the basics.
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: She's sang, just basic tourers at home. She's blaming that
- 1:01:38Speaker 11: on the parents. She called the mom and told her
- 1:01:41Speaker 11: that her kids should know that, and you know the mom.
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: The mom got a little irritated because she said that
- 1:01:49Speaker 11: the kids are messy and they don't, you know, clean
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: up over there. So she called the husband, her ex husband,
- 1:01:56Speaker 11: and that irritated the new wife. So she told the husband,
- 1:02:01Speaker 11: by all means, his children are welcome at the house,
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: but they gotta have some rules. They gotta have some
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: household rules. They need to be cleaning up after themselves.
- 1:02:10Speaker 11: She can't do that. She got a new baby and
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: all that. So she wants to know is she out
- 1:02:15Speaker 11: of line for telling them this is the way she
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: runs her house. She wants to us to help her understand.
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: Junior, My whole thing is no, you're not wrong, No,
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: not at all.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: No.
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: And as whopping's work, let's get back to that. Yeah,
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: because I don't care who kids it is. If you
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: tab my house, it's meeting coming with it. Yeah, and

- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I think the country is using.
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: This as a divide a racial war culture thing that
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: making it Caitlan against Angel and black and white layers.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: How that go.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I'm watching the game, so I'm watching.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: That's thank you coming up at the top of the

- 1:10:05Speaker 16: You're listening.
- 1:10:08Speaker 11: Morning show, All right, guys, So Elizabeth's on Facebook rights
- 1:10:13Speaker 11: every quarter, I have to travel to my company's headquarters
- 1:10:16Speaker 11: and for as long as I've had my job, I've
- 1:10:19Speaker 11: always stayed with my guy friend that I've known since
- 1:10:21Speaker 11: elementary school who lives in the city. My new boyfriend
- 1:10:25Speaker 11: thinks it's inappropriate for me to stay with my friend
- 1:10:27Speaker 11: and wants me to get a hotel instead, but isn't
- 1:10:30Speaker 11: offering to help pay for it. So should I put
- 1:10:33Speaker 11: my foot down and tell my boyfriend that he should
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: trust me and not worry, or give into his insecurities
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: and get a hotel or just or should I just
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: stay with my friend and not tell my boyfriend?
- 1:10:45Speaker 6: No?
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: See, there we go with that. Listen, it's a disrespectful
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: thing for you to do this. You got a man now,

- 1:11:25Speaker 1: If the job isn't paying for it, the man who's
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: doing all the protesting should pay for it, right or
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: else she could stay with her friends free.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: And you didn't make this a money thing.
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: Now, sure, listen, if this is about your job, If
- 1:11:37Speaker 8: this is about your job, then your job should be
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: paying for you should have your job should have so
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: that should be money allotted for this.
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm travel expense, travel expenses. She didn't say that,

- 1:19:10Speaker 6: For two years?
- 1:19:11Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:19:11Speaker 6: No, give me that island.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I don't won't be in a combe deserted island, deserted.
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: Give it to It's just me over there, rubbing two

- 1:19:34Speaker 3: No.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: I ain't no Wilson out there, no soccer ball to
- 1:19:39Speaker 6: talk to. Nothing.
- 1:19:42Speaker 11: Would you rather not use your hands during sex or
- 1:19:44Speaker 11: not be able to see during sex?
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: Oh?
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: I don't need to see nothing. I need my hands,
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: or we ain't gonna be able to get started.
- 1:19:55Speaker 11: Man, that's today, frounded When you rather nine minutes after

- 1:20:14Speaker 11: this week is moving.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Huh.
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: Yeah, you know June Team was yesterday, so you know
- 1:20:20Speaker 8: we're recovering from that.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: You know, is why do we have to recover from It's.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: Just it's just a different kind of holiday. I don't
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: know how to accept it, to be honest with you,
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: just feel like about it.
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: I ain't man with a day off.
- 1:20:38Speaker 10: But you know, at the same time celebrating, we're celebrating
- 1:20:42Speaker 10: something two years.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we're celebrating something late.
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, an unusual holiday it is.
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: Yeah, it's just there's other holidays we could have implement it,
- 1:20:58Speaker 8: but this here just I ge't. If y'all want to
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: take let's go ahead and do it.
- 1:21:04Speaker 10: If y'all you're not mad at it, we just kind
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: of like the way of the of the reason.
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: For What is he gonna do if we march it on?
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: Is it a parade on this one too? What is.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Praise for years?
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: What kind of float is that coming down down the street?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: What is that green, yellow, red color color?
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: You know our color? So it's the same float from MLK?
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: Is it the same flow?
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: I'm just trying to figure out is just what's different
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: than than just let me know.
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: I'm just like, I tell you.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: What a nation holiday you're gonna celebrate?
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: I got it, bank clothed, all that, I got it,
- 1:21:44Speaker 8: bank clothes? Anybody what we're finish, going to get some
- 1:21:46Speaker 8: freedom money? I mean, what is what I'm just asking?
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: What does it do? Is what I'm asking?
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Well, if you celebrate the fourth okay, did we celebrate? Yes,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: that's right?
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: All right? Before find out they found out on.
- 1:22:04Speaker 8: The fourth though, didn't they You're not gonna do.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Another two years later?
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: Can we get the real freedom date.
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: And celebrate that. Well, that's the thing. Now, we got
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: to put math on it. Now, we got to do
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: all this, all this work on a holiday.
- 1:22:25Speaker 10: Okay, all right, what you're saying, we're kind of torn about. Yeah, yesterday,
- 1:22:31Speaker 10: yesterday holiday, Yeah, yesterday. And eventually I think we'll get
- 1:22:35Speaker 10: used to it. We have to teach our kids and
- 1:22:37Speaker 10: all of that. Eventually, hopefully we'll get you.
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: They're gonna teach them in the school because they you know,
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: they don't want to do that.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: They do it's true, Oh no, oh no, they's true.
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: Y'all gonna talk about freedom, but we ain't gonna talk
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: about the slavery before the freedom is what we're doing.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Hello, bet make people uncomfortable, Tommy, make certain people.
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: I'm uncomfortable talking about this two years later. But that's
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: okay though.
- 1:23:01Speaker 10: Well, I think one of the issues that they have
- 1:23:04Speaker 10: is talking about history. Black history is American history, American history.
- 1:23:09Speaker 10: So talking about it just the other day, yeah again, right,
- 1:23:14Speaker 10: so talking about it and educating kids about what happened, you.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Know, they're saying.
- 1:23:19Speaker 10: The other side is saying We don't want children to
- 1:23:21Speaker 10: feel bad. It's not about them feeling bad. It's about
- 1:23:24Speaker 10: educating them and to do better. Let's move forward and
- 1:23:28Speaker 10: do better, and how we treat each other in racism
- 1:23:31Speaker 10: and all that.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Educate people on what's going on.
- 1:23:33Speaker 10: You can't rewrite history, and you can't not talk about
- 1:23:36Speaker 10: it because it didn't happen.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: It did happen, or because you're uncomfortable with it. When
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: we do talk about it, you get uncomfortable. That's no
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: reason for you not to talk about it. We have
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: zach about these things. We need to know this and
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: what our country really is and what we are.
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: And only reason for you to try to omit it
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: from the books. You're trying to put it all the
- 1:23:55Speaker 8: way out right.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: It makes no sense, It makes no sense.
- 1:23:59Speaker 10: But anyway, keep educating. Yeah, absolutely every day, not just
- 1:24:03Speaker 10: June teenth, all the time.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: We have to educate.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: And if they're not teaching you in school, do your
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: own research. Do your own research. You know, you can google,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you can do all that, talk to people, all of that,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you can do it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 10: I think for Tommy and Junior on this and myself, well,
- 1:24:22Speaker 10: when we grew up in Texas, I was born in Chicago,
- 1:24:25Speaker 10: but I was raised in Houston, so growing up, Juneteenth
- 1:24:28Speaker 10: was a big part of our childhood holidays, right, So
- 1:24:32Speaker 10: for us, we always celebrated. You always talked about it,
- 1:24:36Speaker 10: and still was had issues then. But it's a federal
- 1:24:40Speaker 10: holiday now, so I think, you know, we just got
- 1:24:42Speaker 10: to do better with educating our kids and letting you know.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: But that's progress, though, you know, that's progress. That's that's
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: real progress that you know.
- 1:24:51Speaker 11: You guys celebrated it on your own. Now it's a
- 1:24:53Speaker 11: national holiday. I grew up, of course, born and raised
- 1:24:56Speaker 11: in Chicago. When I visited or I lived in Dallas
- 1:24:59Speaker 11: for a while while, and I had no idea what
- 1:25:02Speaker 11: Juneteenth was. I'd never heard of it, ever heard of it.
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: So yeah, you know, you got to educate yourself. Then
- 1:25:08Speaker 11: you ask around, You educate yourself, and you see what
- 1:25:11Speaker 11: it is. You know, and Temmy, you say you're still
- 1:25:14Speaker 11: uncomfortable with it somewhat, but I mean, it is what
- 1:25:16Speaker 11: it is, you know. I think we will become more
- 1:25:19Speaker 11: comfortable as we learn more and as we live more.
- 1:25:22Speaker 8: My daddy, y'all, my daddy had me dying laughing when
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: he was here. He said, you know, when I was
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: a kid, it was Juneteenth. I was trying to get
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: to you know, get an understand it. And my daddy said,
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: you know, they was free in Galveston before they was
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: free in Houston. I said, okay. He say, but it
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: don't make sense because you got to go through Houston to.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Get to Galvesty to get yet you do.
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: I say, well, what happened dad?
- 1:25:45Speaker 8: He said it was a brother on a horse came
- 1:25:48Speaker 8: through Houston, said I got good news. I'll be back
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: in a minute, and went to Galveston and kicked it
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: for two years before we caught it.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Sarah, boy, Daddy, that's funny.
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: I got good news. I'll be back in a minute.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Wow goods.
- 1:26:08Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: Well, here we are the state of the country, and
- 1:26:13Speaker 10: why don't we use this time reflection and talking about
- 1:26:16Speaker 10: our lists y'all make sure y'all registered to vote, yeah, y'all,
- 1:26:20Speaker 10: and some kind of service get and to help move
- 1:26:24Speaker 10: this country forward.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: And it was President Biden who made Juneteenth the holiday,
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: who declared it the holiday. So there's that, you know,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: yep about voting this November? All right, Tommy take us in.
- 1:26:37Speaker 8: All right, And the words of my uncle talk to God.
- 1:26:40Speaker 8: He would love to hear from you until tomorrow. Y'all
