- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. Uh huh. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah. Man,
- 2:17Speaker 1: bo bo bo boy. Man. God has been good to me.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I can't even I can't even put it into words, man,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but I try, though, I try, try try. God does
- 2:30Speaker 1: things for me just right on time. He said, he's
- 2:32Speaker 1: so cool with it. And I happened to run across
- 2:37Speaker 1: Joel Oldstein on television like I often do all the time,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and I was sitting there and he had such a
- 2:47Speaker 1: timely message for me. It was like, Man, all I
- 2:50Speaker 1: can say was Man, God, thank you man, because I
- 2:54Speaker 1: needed to hear what he had to say that day.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna get to the things that I never
- 3:01Speaker 1: really really understood before. A part of it was something
- 3:06Speaker 1: that I've said oftentimes about if you really really want
- 3:12Speaker 1: to be successful, if you really really want to change,
- 3:16Speaker 1: if you really really want to prosper, if you really
- 3:19Speaker 1: really want to achieve greatness, if you really really want
- 3:22Speaker 1: to have something in life that's worth having, if you
- 3:25Speaker 1: really really want to accomplish your goals, you got to
- 3:28Speaker 1: push through all of it. He said that when you
- 3:33Speaker 1: get closer to it, the more difficult it becomes. Did
- 3:40Speaker 1: you hear me? He said, the closer you get to
- 3:43Speaker 1: what it is you want or you need, or you
- 3:46Speaker 1: have to have or or or you would love to be,
- 3:50Speaker 1: it gets a little bit more difficult when you get closer.
- 3:55Speaker 1: He told this story that's in the Bible that I
- 4:00Speaker 1: never heard before, and so I'm just repeating it now.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get it exactly right. I can't tell
- 4:07Speaker 1: you the scripture was in none of that. Please understand.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I just I was listening. So this is what he said.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He said, there was a man who was paralyzed, and um,
- 4:20Speaker 1: he had heard that Jesus was speaking at a house,
- 4:25Speaker 1: and so he wanted to get there. So he convinced
- 4:28Speaker 1: four of his friends to put him on a stretcher
- 4:34Speaker 1: and carry him for for hours to get to this
- 4:38Speaker 1: house what Jesus was speaking. He said that along the way,
- 4:46Speaker 1: these friends said that that that they went along because
- 4:51Speaker 1: he has so much faith that if he could just
- 4:53Speaker 1: get to him, it could be better that he could
- 4:57Speaker 1: if he could just get over there and he could
- 4:59Speaker 1: see him, that he might have a shot at getting held.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And so he said, they took out along the way
- 5:05Speaker 1: and they walked and they walked, and they walked for hours.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And then when they got there, the house was completely
- 5:13Speaker 1: filled with people. That was absolutely it was packed wall
- 5:17Speaker 1: to wall. There was absolutely no way for the men
- 5:21Speaker 1: to get him on that stretcher end to see Jesus.
- 5:25Speaker 1: This is a story that uh, Joe Olsten said. It
- 5:28Speaker 1: is in the Bible, and he was telling it now
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm just repeating the parts of it. I got gathered
- 5:34Speaker 1: and so he said they were sat there and they went, wow, man,
- 5:37Speaker 1: we walked all this way and it's full, and and
- 5:41Speaker 1: and and and and and we can't get there, he said.
- 5:45Speaker 1: And then the guy with the affliction told the four men,
- 5:51Speaker 1: if you get up on the roof and cut a
- 5:54Speaker 1: hole in it and lower me down, I bet I
- 5:59Speaker 1: could see him in and I better to be all
- 6:01Speaker 1: right now. He then said, you must imagine how these
- 6:07Speaker 1: four men must have felt when you carry somebody for hours,
- 6:12Speaker 1: on on on on on on on the way. They
- 6:14Speaker 1: had to carry some cloth connected by a couple of sticks,
- 6:18Speaker 1: said to me, and shoulders had to be bruised, had
- 6:21Speaker 1: to have deep gouges in them, not cuts, but just
- 6:24Speaker 1: indentations where they had carried the weight of this grown
- 6:27Speaker 1: man for so many hours. And they looked at him
- 6:30Speaker 1: in disbelief, like, man, what are you talking about. We
- 6:32Speaker 1: didn't walked all this far. He said, yeah, But if
- 6:35Speaker 1: you get up on that roof and you cut a
- 6:37Speaker 1: hole in it and lower me down, I can see
- 6:41Speaker 1: him and when he see me, it'll be all right.
- 6:46Speaker 1: After sitting there and imploring the men, they went up
- 6:49Speaker 1: and did just that, and and then and then the
- 6:53Speaker 1: story that Joel Osteen said. The man was healed. But
- 6:57Speaker 1: the point he was making was he saying that the
- 7:02Speaker 1: closer you get to what it is you really want
- 7:05Speaker 1: the more difficult it's going to become. But you've got
- 7:08Speaker 1: to push through. So if you don't push through, you
- 7:11Speaker 1: never know, so you can't get right to the answer.
- 7:14Speaker 1: And because it gets really difficult, started creating those little
- 7:18Speaker 1: saying that we got his people. Um, well, I guess
- 7:21Speaker 1: it wasn't meant to be. I guess it wasn't the
- 7:25Speaker 1: Lord's will. Now, man, I guess you should not give
- 7:29Speaker 1: up right now. I guess you should keep pressing. I
- 7:32Speaker 1: guess you should do more because see, in all of us,
- 7:36Speaker 1: in all of us, when you've had enough, I want
- 7:38Speaker 1: you to know something. You do have a little bit
- 7:41Speaker 1: more in all of us. You can do one more.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You know. That's one of my favorite things that I
- 7:48Speaker 1: heard Joe Lolsten said, and it kind of made me
- 7:50Speaker 1: feel good. He said, I always feel like I can
- 7:54Speaker 1: do one more anything, and I tell my friends all
- 7:58Speaker 1: the time, I can do one moment. Man, I could
- 8:01Speaker 1: do one more day. I can do one more anything
- 8:05Speaker 1: if you just break it down to one more. If
- 8:07Speaker 1: I got to I do just one more week, if
- 8:10Speaker 1: that's all that's left, I can just do one more month.
- 8:15Speaker 1: If I got to do another year, I find a
- 8:19Speaker 1: way to get that year done, because I've learned inch
- 8:24Speaker 1: by inch anything's essentially but I've learned over a course
- 8:28Speaker 1: of time that you've got to keep pressing forward. Now
- 8:32Speaker 1: Here was the jewel that I never really knew that
- 8:37Speaker 1: Joel Oldstein Uh and God sent to me I needed
- 8:42Speaker 1: to heal. He said that no matter what you're going through,
- 8:47Speaker 1: no matter how difficult the time in is that you're having,
- 8:52Speaker 1: no matter how long the challenges you've been facing, God
- 8:57Speaker 1: has an end date for it all. Did you hear me?
- 9:02Speaker 1: No matter what you're going through, no matter what challenge
- 9:04Speaker 1: you're facing, no matter what situation you've gotten yourself into,
- 9:08Speaker 1: God has an ending date in mind for you. All
- 9:14Speaker 1: you got to do is keep pressing forward. All you
- 9:17Speaker 1: got to do is hanging now. All you got to
- 9:20Speaker 1: do is don't give up. All you have to do
- 9:24Speaker 1: is don't turn back. There is an end date for
- 9:28Speaker 1: all of it, even when you think you've had enough.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And boy, have I had this conversation with God on
- 9:39Speaker 1: several things that I've been going through, and I'm gonna
- 9:42Speaker 1: I've even told him, Look I got it, man, I
- 9:45Speaker 1: got it. He said, just keep hanging on. There is
- 9:50Speaker 1: an end date. To whatever it is you're going through.
- 9:53Speaker 1: There's an end date to your illness, your sickness, yo,
- 9:57Speaker 1: your you're tired of being tired. There's an end date
- 10:01Speaker 1: to this relationship that you can't seem to get through.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Beyond over that's that's lack of cancer to you. There's
- 10:13Speaker 1: an end date. But you've got to hang in there.
- 10:17Speaker 1: You've got to keep pushing forward. You cannot turn around.
- 10:22Speaker 1: You must not go back, because when God gets you
- 10:26Speaker 1: through this and you break through to the other side,
- 10:30Speaker 1: the reward and the benefit it's far greater than the struggle.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I oftentimes really look at some of the things that
- 10:40Speaker 1: God has brought me through and in my worst times,
- 10:44Speaker 1: and when He brought me through, I went wild. Man.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Now that I understand that, now that I'm on the
- 10:49Speaker 1: other side and I have the benefit of the reward
- 10:52Speaker 1: for it, would you do it all again to get there? Yes,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I would. You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 11:03Speaker 1: people all around the world. This is the Steve Harvey
- 11:07Speaker 1: Morning Show. I'm he is Steve. That's how we open this.

- 11:59Speaker 1: Did you enjoy your dad on? I traveled, but it
- 12:01Speaker 1: was nice. I'm watching this new show Ozark. Oh, I
- 12:07Speaker 1: know what I know about Ozark. It's good on Netflix.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I'm just on like episode two or three. Yeah, so far,
- 12:15Speaker 1: so good. So I'm watching Ozark. I watched all the
- 12:19Speaker 1: Drug Lords. I watch Escobard, the Callycattail and Frank Lucas. Wow.
- 12:28Speaker 1: That because and the reason I watched those shows is
- 12:33Speaker 1: because in case show business at family feud business fails
- 12:42Speaker 1: to do that. You don't know, boy, let me tell
- 12:45Speaker 1: you what I can't do. I can't go back living
- 12:48Speaker 1: in that car. That's not a question. Now. Who I
- 12:51Speaker 1: don't want to end up is what is Frank Lucas?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't want to end up in Frank Lucas because
- 12:57Speaker 1: he didn't look good at all in that wheeld you
- 13:00Speaker 1: that's the man that plays Yeah, he was. He was
- 13:06Speaker 1: lying on the documentary. You know, it's been one of
- 13:17Speaker 1: those days. So I did that, But I started Ozark Ozark,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and this looks like it's gonna be pretty good. It's good. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 1: you like it. Yeah, it's a dude that was laundry
- 13:30Speaker 1: money for the Mexican cartel and then uh, he came
- 13:35Speaker 1: and killed everybody and his company and put him in
- 13:39Speaker 1: some bad barrels of acid. They was fitting to kill
- 13:43Speaker 1: on him. But he made up this liner he could,
- 13:46Speaker 1: you know, laundry their money in Ozarka, Missouri, which is
- 13:51Speaker 1: like he'll billy folk seasons and he up there trying
- 13:54Speaker 1: to flip this money now. And I don't know how
- 13:57Speaker 1: it's gonna go. I can't see it, like thank call
- 14:00Speaker 1: it hey, But you're willing to see though, But I'm
- 14:06Speaker 1: willing to see how he do it. I don't see it.
- 14:09Speaker 1: But you were so excited talking about Yeah, I think
- 14:12Speaker 1: his boy, don't he let me old boy? I predict
- 14:15Speaker 1: will be in the dopeb isn't short. They don't fall
- 14:20Speaker 1: too far. I don't see that little boy being able
- 14:22Speaker 1: to shake it. Man, I don't know how I find
- 14:28Speaker 1: to see my sister Beattie. He puts it on there
- 14:30Speaker 1: from me. All right, listen, uh yeah, we gotta go
- 14:33Speaker 1: to break and when we come back, it's time for
- 14:35Speaker 1: something funny. We'll find out what else you did on
- 14:38Speaker 1: your day off? Steve. Done, done, you're listening to morning show.
- 14:46Speaker 1: All right, Steve, it is time now for something funny.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You were telling us before we went to break, how
- 14:50Speaker 1: you spent your day off? What else did you do? Well?
- 14:55Speaker 1: I had to go to Atlanta to renew my driver's license. Yeah,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I got some special treatment. I got walked through the
- 15:07Speaker 1: back door. But here's crazy though. Even though I got
- 15:11Speaker 1: walked through the back door, I was in there for
- 15:12Speaker 1: a hour the hand something happened, man, it was crazy.
- 15:21Speaker 1: First of all, I want to thank uh Casey down
- 15:25Speaker 1: in South Carolina. I want to thank a man in Columbus,
- 15:31Speaker 1: Ohio name what Sabi? Okay, that's mar Okay, what Sammy?
- 15:45Speaker 1: What Sammy? One of them named Casey down in South Carolina.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Then I want to thank in Atlanta the director that
- 15:56Speaker 1: helped me. It took all this to get a light boy,
- 15:59Speaker 1: you don't know the trouble me. So but here, okay,
- 16:04Speaker 1: here what happened. I go to get my driver's license
- 16:07Speaker 1: right now, since now I don't know how this came up,
- 16:11Speaker 1: but I'm getting ready to get my license. And they
- 16:13Speaker 1: refused my license because of a car accident in nineteen
- 16:20Speaker 1: eighty seven in South Carolina that I never paid the
- 16:24Speaker 1: people of money for and a speeding ticket I got
- 16:28Speaker 1: in Louisiana but they transferred it to Ohio in nineteen one,
- 16:37Speaker 1: so they held my license for accident in eighty seven
- 16:41Speaker 1: and the drivers in a violent violation. That's the last
- 16:44Speaker 1: time I got a ticket with nine that's my last ticket.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So you were supposed to go to jail yesterday. No,
- 16:50Speaker 1: but the numbers, my case numbers are so don't nobody
- 16:56Speaker 1: go back that fall? Right? So the lady in the
- 17:00Speaker 1: man in Atlanta just started laughing. He said, we don't
- 17:02Speaker 1: even have this normal normal, so we don't go back
- 17:06Speaker 1: that far. I said, but sir, let me let me
- 17:09Speaker 1: say something to you. How can y'all be claiming this
- 17:12Speaker 1: because in nineteen ninety five, I got a Texas driver's license.
- 17:19Speaker 1: In two thousand, in two thousand and eight, I gotta
- 17:24Speaker 1: Georgia driver's license. I got an Illinois driver's license, and
- 17:28Speaker 1: I renewed the driver's license. I was coming here for renewal.
- 17:32Speaker 1: So how I get all these license We don't know.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Wait a minute, this is what I want to know.
- 17:42Speaker 1: What what were you doing in seven? You had made
- 17:46Speaker 1: it yet in the car? Yeah, I was in the car,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and you know he drive. Yeah, so I'm trying to
- 17:53Speaker 1: figure out. I ain't never been in O Corcks and
- 17:55Speaker 1: then in in South Carolina, so I don't know where
- 17:59Speaker 1: they got that from. And then the speeding ticket, Now
- 18:02Speaker 1: I do know about speeding because that was the last
- 18:05Speaker 1: time I got a ticket with n and I paid
- 18:08Speaker 1: it because it was a hundred and one dollars and
- 18:10Speaker 1: a hundred one dollars in nine cracked me. I'm talking
- 18:15Speaker 1: about cracked me. I'm talking man. I sent that money
- 18:20Speaker 1: in and threw myself into something that meant Rick didn't
- 18:23Speaker 1: get paid. That was ninety one. All hell broke loose
- 18:27Speaker 1: with one on one. So that cracked me. So I
- 18:31Speaker 1: remember sending that money in, but then they reported that
- 18:35Speaker 1: I didn't pay it in Ohio, so they was holding
- 18:38Speaker 1: my life. But ain't none of it. I didn't have
- 18:40Speaker 1: three license since then Texas license, Georgia license and and
- 18:45Speaker 1: Illinois license. M hmm, so they just this just came
- 18:49Speaker 1: up in the system now, just just now showed up
- 18:52Speaker 1: when I tried to renew from my birthday two thousand
- 18:55Speaker 1: eight with your two thou eighteen. So for three months,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I ain't had no driver license. Man, you know you're
- 19:03Speaker 1: driving anyway. Well, but I was driving though, because I
- 19:09Speaker 1: drive my my my cars. I don't let the drive
- 19:11Speaker 1: and drive my personal cars. Don't. So I I've been driving.
- 19:15Speaker 1: So what hell? So do people know who you were
- 19:18Speaker 1: at the Yeah, that's how I got my driver lense.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I got drivers license. I called the lady in South
- 19:26Speaker 1: Carolina and the lady from Georgia was talking to him.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I said, ma'am, excuse me, this is the one time
- 19:32Speaker 1: being famous coming here. Let me say my name and
- 19:35Speaker 1: let her hear my boy, we'll get this hand the
- 19:38Speaker 1: best we cast. Excuse me, ma'am. The name brought her it.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Don't worry about that. This Steve Harvey, this Steve Hardy,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and they got my license. That black girl went, Steve Hardy.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You you're talking about what? What? What Steve Harvey? You
- 19:53Speaker 1: told me I said, who would sounds like? She said,
- 19:55Speaker 1: hold on one second, girl like Steve Harvey. Girl, Steve
- 20:00Speaker 1: Harveys on this phone. Okay, Mr Harvey. She switched just
- 20:06Speaker 1: like that, and she said, okay, okay, okay, hold hold
- 20:09Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, let me get myself together. Okay,
- 20:13Speaker 1: we need to help. You. Give me your case number.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I sent it the case hum she told me. She
- 20:17Speaker 1: said using cocks and the nineteen eight. I said, man,
- 20:20Speaker 1: it might never been a cocks then in my life
- 20:22Speaker 1: down in South kallin evil. Now I stole some gas
- 20:25Speaker 1: in seven. Is that what you are talking about? She said, what?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Because you can't hold my license for stilling. Now what
- 20:40Speaker 1: I might have hit? I might have ran over a
- 20:42Speaker 1: cone or gas can coming out the gas station. But
- 20:46Speaker 1: that's all I did that. Lady laughing so hard, she said,
- 20:49Speaker 1: why are you telling me this? I said, because statue
- 20:52Speaker 1: of limitations is up. What you're talking about ten worth
- 20:56Speaker 1: of game. I'm a gad I feel though I never
- 21:01Speaker 1: if you're gonna go to jail, you might will fill
- 21:03Speaker 1: up go to jail. So I get five dollars. So
- 21:08Speaker 1: I feeled up and the lady helped me. I had
- 21:12Speaker 1: to fill out a bunch of paperwork. It took ten
- 21:14Speaker 1: days to clear. She cleared it for me that day.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Her name is Casey down there in South Carolina. She
- 21:19Speaker 1: got two kids, UH, and she told me to give
- 21:22Speaker 1: us a shout out. So shout out to Casey for
- 21:24Speaker 1: helping me and understand. And then the same thing happened
- 21:27Speaker 1: in Ohio or what Sammy? Who I kept calling with
- 21:30Speaker 1: Sabi and so I have a driver now, thank you Lord,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I'm leaving. What are you doing? Thank you Lord? Coming
- 21:40Speaker 1: up coming up next, it's run that brank back with
- 21:43Speaker 1: the Nephew. You're listening morning show. Coming up at the
- 21:51Speaker 1: top of the hour, we will talk about yesterday's national
- 21:54Speaker 1: school walk out with all the high school kids across
- 21:57Speaker 1: the country UM in support of gun controling in honor
- 22:01Speaker 1: of the seventeen kids that were killed down in Parkland, Florida.
- 22:04Speaker 1: UH and Ms Anne will be here with today's national news.
- 22:07Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the Nephew and
- 22:09Speaker 1: run that frank back. What you got, na, Let's get

- 22:30Speaker 1: I know I wanted to call you. I've been looking
- 22:32Speaker 1: for trying to get your phone number actually for like
- 22:34Speaker 1: about the last about two weeks nine. What do you
- 22:37Speaker 1: need my number? Four? Baby? Can you get on with

- 28:07Speaker 1: ain't got to be showing up. No, trust me, it
- 28:11Speaker 1: ain't worse on. I was just with him because he
- 28:13Speaker 1: was a good man. I guess mis dumb too. I

- 28:23Speaker 1: You just tat me. This here it's with your wife
- 28:27Speaker 1: some name Denise. Yes, that's what I said. And this
- 28:30Speaker 1: is the that's Watson the twins. May we have twins?
- 28:34Speaker 1: Do you hear me? Can I say something else to you?
- 28:37Speaker 1: I don't need you to say. Can I say one
- 28:39Speaker 1: more thing? What do you need to say? This is
- 28:43Speaker 1: Nephew time and from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You
- 28:47Speaker 1: just got prayed by your husband Gerald. Let me tell
- 28:56Speaker 1: you got to do to be franking me? He needs
- 29:00Speaker 1: to be trying about it. You know what, I'm going
- 29:07Speaker 1: ahead to ship when I get kiss non working at
- 29:12Speaker 1: cooking the knife, let's sake all the thing. This save
- 29:15Speaker 1: the situations because first of all, I'm a woman, so
- 29:18Speaker 1: I won't want information. But the special thing is we
- 29:21Speaker 1: need the job. Don't work. I shouldn't leave work. I
- 29:28Speaker 1: gotta answer something. Baby. What's badest radio show in the land?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Definitely does see Harvey one. So you're not gonna get
- 29:41Speaker 1: that day. You understand that. Nobody to get that, and
- 29:46Speaker 1: I'm not coming. I won't be silent March. Nephew is
- 29:55Speaker 1: on his way Memphis Tennessee, Chuckles Comedy Club. What did
- 29:59Speaker 1: I hell you? I told you, I'm gonna say it again.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Barbie Que and the Nephew in Memphis, Tennessee. The Field
- 30:07Speaker 1: tickets on sale, Red naw and laying in the cut.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You already know. April Baby Lexington, Kentucky at Comedy off Broadway.
- 30:15Speaker 1: That's April five through the seven tickets. Don't see it
- 30:18Speaker 1: right now. Stupid is on the way. Stupid only come around.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Want to stare two or three years? You gotta kitchen.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I see it every day. Stupid is with us every year,
- 30:27Speaker 1: Monday through Friday. Alright, coming up at the top of
- 30:30Speaker 1: the hour, missing hand, We'll be here with today's national news.
- 30:33Speaker 1: And Yesterday was a day of action. You're listening to
- 30:36Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yesterday was the day of
- 30:40Speaker 1: action for students. It was a children's crusade. Thousands of
- 30:44Speaker 1: students nationwide protested gun violence. A generation shaped by gun
- 30:49Speaker 1: violence is making itself heard now. The National school walkout
- 30:53Speaker 1: started Wednesday at ten am Eastern. The protest was sparked,
- 30:57Speaker 1: of course, by last month's school massacre in Parkland, Florida,
- 31:00Speaker 1: and fueled by years of anger about what many say
- 31:04Speaker 1: are inadequate gun laws. They want three things. Number one,
- 31:09Speaker 1: ban assault weapons period okay. Number two, require universal background
- 31:14Speaker 1: checks before gun sales. Number three pass a gun violence
- 31:19Speaker 1: restraining order law that would allow courts to disarm people
- 31:23Speaker 1: who display warning signs of violent behavior. Okay, Chah, they
- 31:31Speaker 1: really are, they really are. And and I heard one
- 31:34Speaker 1: young lady say, she's like, we are the future. We
- 31:37Speaker 1: are marching for ourselves, you know. I mean, and she
- 31:41Speaker 1: couldn't have been more than sixteen or seventeen. You know, this,
- 31:45Speaker 1: this this generation is going to change something. Yeah, because
- 31:49Speaker 1: they're not going for it. They're not they're not going
- 31:51Speaker 1: for their mama's Second Amendment rights because these Amendment rights
- 31:56Speaker 1: are causing people to lose their lives. Look, but it's
- 31:59Speaker 1: a just a strange thing. It's sort of funny because
- 32:03Speaker 1: I'm okay with people being gun owners. I am against
- 32:08Speaker 1: the sale of certain weapons. I'm against the sale of
- 32:12Speaker 1: bump stocks. I'm against the sale of selling to a
- 32:14Speaker 1: person that's not twenty one. I'm against that. I'm against
- 32:19Speaker 1: not having a required background check, and I'm against gun
- 32:25Speaker 1: shows popping up selling to anybody that's just got the money. Yeah, Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 1: that's the database. That universal database comes into play too.
- 32:34Speaker 1: That I like it getting rid of your start rival
- 32:37Speaker 1: altogether completely, because what is it for really, Hey, if
- 32:43Speaker 1: it's not for killing, if it's not with the military,
- 32:46Speaker 1: that's all it should be. That's why are we selling
- 32:49Speaker 1: it exactly. And when you leave the military, you should
- 32:52Speaker 1: not be in the break to turn it in. Yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 1: students stayed outside for seventeen minutes. They stayed outside for
- 32:58Speaker 1: one minute for each of the seventeen people that were
- 33:01Speaker 1: killed in the Parkland massacre exactly one month ago today.
- 33:06Speaker 1: They turned their backs on the White House in d C.
- 33:10Speaker 1: When they went up there, they turned their back in
- 33:12Speaker 1: silence for seventeen minutes. That's what happened. In the New York,
- 33:16Speaker 1: Baltimore kids did that. Yeah, Jets from all over the country.
- 33:21Speaker 1: But yeah, some of the schools weren't with it though.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Some of the some of the students are going to
- 33:26Speaker 1: face some disciplinary actions and some penalties for walking out
- 33:29Speaker 1: of class them. The school said that they did it.
- 33:33Speaker 1: They didn't want them to go for safety reasons things
- 33:35Speaker 1: like that, But the students walked out anyway. You know,
- 33:39Speaker 1: why would you discipline them for that? I think those
- 33:41Speaker 1: superintendents need to rethink that children. Yeah, and definitely support
- 33:47Speaker 1: them that the students parents were there, a lot of
- 33:50Speaker 1: their parents were there in support of them. Teachers, teachers.
- 33:54Speaker 1: It's called freedom of speech as long as you ain't
- 33:57Speaker 1: speaking against the nr A. Exactly, here we go, exactly.
- 34:04Speaker 1: You need to say that again. Actually, it's freedom of
- 34:07Speaker 1: speech as long as you're not speaking out against the
- 34:10Speaker 1: n r A. They're suing the state of Florida because
- 34:14Speaker 1: they're governor down there passed that law raising the age.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and their whole argument is you're denying americansiders
- 34:23Speaker 1: their right to bear arms. Who is suing the government
- 34:26Speaker 1: at the n r A Florida driver's license? Yeah, okay, Yeah,
- 34:35Speaker 1: it's a crazy situation. It's not going to go away.
- 34:38Speaker 1: They still have their march plan to uh to Washington
- 34:41Speaker 1: on March. But you can't buy liquor to you one
- 34:45Speaker 1: but what is the eighteen year old kid and need
- 34:47Speaker 1: with a gun? Period? But one thing about being eighteen,
- 34:53Speaker 1: you do get the right to vote. All right, Steve,
- 34:56Speaker 1: she's here, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne, thank you very much, everybody.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Good morning. This is answered with the news. Well, of
- 35:04Speaker 1: course we've been talking about it. Everyone was talking about it.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Students had some one thousand schools across the country. One
- 35:10Speaker 1: thousand schools left school yesterday for at least seventeen minutes
- 35:14Speaker 1: to remember the students and teachers shot to death in
- 35:16Speaker 1: a Florida high school on Valentine's Day and to call
- 35:19Speaker 1: for tougher gun control law. We mL stan with storm
- 35:24Speaker 1: in Douglas High School. Enough. This is the walkout and
- 35:29Speaker 1: recognizement of the gun violence and our schools. And I'm
- 35:32Speaker 1: here to support that movement. And uh, it feels great
- 35:35Speaker 1: to be part of history and make change. By the way,
- 35:39Speaker 1: a lot of students protesting yesterday, we're wearing orange and
- 35:42Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. The color orange has been part
- 35:44Speaker 1: of anti violence protests since a fifteen year old honor
- 35:47Speaker 1: student named Hadiyah Pendleton was shot and killed in Chicago
- 35:50Speaker 1: five years ago. Hadia's family started the hashtag where orange
- 35:54Speaker 1: movement because orange is the call that hunters where to
- 35:57Speaker 1: protect themselves in the woods from other hunters. Meanwhile, the
- 36:00Speaker 1: Capitol Hill House represented his vote yesterday, okay, a bipartisan
- 36:03Speaker 1: bill that they say will make us cool safer by
- 36:06Speaker 1: present preventing violence afford happens. The Republicans say that. Lawmakers
- 36:10Speaker 1: say the bill are rises five friend a million dollars
- 36:12Speaker 1: over ten years for grants aimed at improving a violence prevention. However,
- 36:16Speaker 1: Democrats were disappointed. They wanted something that raised the age
- 36:19Speaker 1: of purchase to twenty one. That's not included in this
- 36:21Speaker 1: particular measure. The FBI said this doubling the number of
- 36:24Speaker 1: agents assigned a review tips from the public about possible threats.
- 36:28Speaker 1: By the way, while we're on the subject, you know,
- 36:30Speaker 1: President Trump says he's in favor of teachers being armed
- 36:32Speaker 1: as long as their trained right while police in Seaside,
- 36:35Speaker 1: California say a teacher at a local high school accidentally
- 36:38Speaker 1: fired a gun inside a classroom yesterday and as a
- 36:41Speaker 1: student was slightly hurt. The bullet hit the ceiling, but
- 36:44Speaker 1: fragments of it hit the student in the neck. Authorities
- 36:46Speaker 1: say the teacher, Dennis Alexander, is a reserve police officer,
- 36:50Speaker 1: and that he was teaching a class in public safety.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Alexander's been put on administrative leave. President Trump has selected
- 36:57Speaker 1: longtime TV economic analyst Larry Cudlow to be his new
- 37:00Speaker 1: top economic advisor. The last one, David Cohen, left over
- 37:03Speaker 1: those tariffs he imposed, but cut Lowe is the first
- 37:06Speaker 1: one actually financial person to actually endorsed Donald Trump's presidency
- 37:09Speaker 1: when he ran. And finally, today's International Day Against Police Brutality.
- 37:14Speaker 1: It's also the eyes of March and Dad Gloria is fleeting. Yeah,
- 37:21Speaker 1: that's where we are. More entertainment at today's trending topics
- 37:24Speaker 1: twenty miss after the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Well,
- 37:31Speaker 1: many have suspected friction between the President and the Secretary
- 37:34Speaker 1: of State for months. Uh we should say former Secretary
- 37:38Speaker 1: of State. Now, uh no one guessed that Rex Tillerson
- 37:41Speaker 1: would get fired by the president and how he did
- 37:44Speaker 1: it was so gets fired over Twitter? I mean, really,
- 37:50Speaker 1: you're fired? Sin Yeah, I mean, come on, how disrespectful though?
- 37:58Speaker 1: Um it was Cale, I mean, Steve, give us some advice,
- 38:03Speaker 1: as Turner, like, what evaluation I ain't seen. Do you
- 38:16Speaker 1: realize how before, how ahead of your time you were?
- 38:20Speaker 1: You realize that you're gonna tweet me? I mean seriously, man,
- 38:27Speaker 1: I bought my phone down at seven leven. I gotta
- 38:30Speaker 1: flip phone mine. Don't take tweets to sadda the president.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Do we have ye keepen asking y'all, do anybody work
- 38:44Speaker 1: up to anybody? Yeah, the word is work, but that's
- 38:49Speaker 1: what I'm saying. But do anybody work up? Yeah? I
- 38:52Speaker 1: mean give us some advice though, Steve, What are some
- 38:54Speaker 1: of the first things you should do when you get fired? Well,
- 38:59Speaker 1: because you have had a lot of jobs in your life. First,
- 39:04Speaker 1: I think the first thing you need to do is
- 39:08Speaker 1: let the fire and all other employees know how displeased
- 39:14Speaker 1: you are with it. That's like number one. You've got
- 39:19Speaker 1: to express your distinct for the fine. I just supposed
- 39:27Speaker 1: to remain calm. Steve, what did your calm fault? Because
- 39:31Speaker 1: you don't want to burn bridges and I'm out of work.
- 39:34Speaker 1: You didn't find me that bridge on fire when you
- 39:37Speaker 1: came in here with your slip of paper. No, you
- 39:40Speaker 1: set this bridge for a recommendation or no no no
- 39:45Speaker 1: no no no no no no no. People that get
- 39:48Speaker 1: fired ain't good. They don't get good recommendation, So you're not.
- 39:53Speaker 1: This is not a recommendation time, this is a time.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Second thing you want to do after you make a
- 39:58Speaker 1: public nuisan of it, you gotta let everybody know your displeasure.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Second thing you need to do is let everybody in
- 40:08Speaker 1: there that you did not careful, let them know about
- 40:10Speaker 1: their self. What's your damn mon Okay, get it off
- 40:21Speaker 1: your chest? Okay, all right, we gotta go. Steve, come here. Okay,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I want to hear this. Sorry, coming up at thirty
- 40:32Speaker 1: four after the hour, Steve is gonna give us some well, yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 1: you'll finish telling us about what we should do when
- 40:38Speaker 1: we get fired and if we have time. Uh, some
- 40:41Speaker 1: details from tonight's episodes, some behind the scenes stuff from
- 40:44Speaker 1: showtime at the Apollo tonight. You're listening to the Steve
- 40:51Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, before we went to break,
- 40:54Speaker 1: you were we were talking about getting fired. You were
- 40:57Speaker 1: giving us some advice on what to do when we
- 41:00Speaker 1: get fired. You were saying, now, so what have I
- 41:04Speaker 1: told you so far? Well, we ended up with you
- 41:07Speaker 1: were gonna let people know how you really. The first
- 41:11Speaker 1: thing is let everybody know your displeasure with being fineddy. Now,
- 41:19Speaker 1: everybody need to know you ain't happy about this. Secondly,
- 41:23Speaker 1: you got to tell everybody off that you've ever wanted
- 41:27Speaker 1: to say something too, but didn't cause you had the
- 41:30Speaker 1: j'ab like. You got to let him know I never
- 41:35Speaker 1: liked you. Know, damn wa wow your breath. Stay, I'm
- 41:41Speaker 1: the one. H O, damn cake outer frigerate. You gotta
- 41:44Speaker 1: go on and let him have it. Yeah, you gotta
- 41:48Speaker 1: let him have it. And I didn't think your baby
- 41:50Speaker 1: was cute when you brought it up here, because your
- 41:52Speaker 1: baby looked just like you. You got to let them
- 41:54Speaker 1: have The third thing you need to do is get
- 42:01Speaker 1: your check. Okay, get your last check, going to h
- 42:08Speaker 1: R because the next two things, the next thing you're
- 42:11Speaker 1: gonna do gonna probably you ain't gonna get your check.
- 42:15Speaker 1: So get your check, get your check, give me my check,
- 42:22Speaker 1: check immediately, give me give me my check, Give me
- 42:27Speaker 1: my check. I ain't got two weeks. I'm gonna nay
- 42:36Speaker 1: check please. And then the second to last thing you

- 49:40Speaker 1: this respectively. Man, okay, all right, I'm trying to do
- 49:44Speaker 1: listen to him. So I'm trying to tell you honestly, dog,
- 49:47Speaker 1: I cannot function outside of them three numbers. I have
- 49:50Speaker 1: to live an apartment three sixteen. It ain't my business. Man. No,

- 50:29Speaker 1: it's gonna be you for I did before I deal
- 50:31Speaker 1: with you. Though I'm gonna get at least, and I
- 50:33Speaker 1: was even giving you my number. Hey man, I'm I'm
- 50:37Speaker 1: just trying to tell you I have to stay under
- 50:40Speaker 1: them numbers, man, I have to. I'm superstitious like that.

- 55:05Speaker 1: It is a Strawberry lettuce subject Booty Licious. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Let me start off by saying that I'm a young
- 55:13Speaker 1: man in my mid twenties, but I have been fully
- 55:16Speaker 1: committed to my beautiful girlfriend since high school. Our relationship
- 55:21Speaker 1: is great, but my issue is when we are out
- 55:23Speaker 1: in public. Lord knows, this always happens to me. Always
- 55:28Speaker 1: is in all caps. Another female with a huge behind
- 55:32Speaker 1: seems to always come strolling along, and I just can't
- 55:36Speaker 1: help but catch a quick, quick look. My girl has
- 55:39Speaker 1: a nice, big behind, but I look to window I
- 55:42Speaker 1: like to window shop, and she hates it. So, Steve,
- 55:45Speaker 1: is this normal to me? It's a natural thing. And
- 55:48Speaker 1: guys just can't help themselves when they see a nice,
- 55:52Speaker 1: big behind. We start acting like a fat kid with cake.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I've even tried wearing sunglasses to hide my eyes, but
- 56:00Speaker 1: sometimes I let out a little grunt when I see
- 56:03Speaker 1: a fine woman. Well this urge ever go away? Does
- 56:07Speaker 1: every guy do this regardless of how beautiful their girlfriend
- 56:11Speaker 1: or wife is? Please help, No, they do not. There's
- 56:15Speaker 1: a thing called self control, young man. You need to
- 56:18Speaker 1: get you some, okay, because you're being very disrespectful to
- 56:22Speaker 1: your girlfriend, to your beautiful girlfriend who you are fully
- 56:26Speaker 1: committed to. Those are your words. You put them in
- 56:28Speaker 1: the letter. Okay. It's it's okay to admire beautiful people
- 56:32Speaker 1: and beautiful things, but you can't be disrespectful to your
- 56:35Speaker 1: girl out in public. That's ridiculous. Come on, get a
- 56:38Speaker 1: hold of yourself, get some self control, and you gotta
- 56:41Speaker 1: stop it. Are you going to lose your beautiful girlfriend
- 56:43Speaker 1: who you say you were fully committed to? All right, Steve, Wow,
- 56:49Speaker 1: I'm done. Wow that was sure, Yeah, it was Steve.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Let me start off by saying that I'm a young
- 56:56Speaker 1: man in my mid twenties. I'm fully committed to my
- 56:59Speaker 1: beautiful girlfriend since high school. Relationship is great. But my
- 57:03Speaker 1: issue is when we out in public. Lord knows. And
- 57:07Speaker 1: here's where it gets, Lord knows. This always in capital
- 57:13Speaker 1: letters happens to me. Another female with a huge behind
- 57:19Speaker 1: seems to always come strolling alone. I just can't help
- 57:23Speaker 1: but catch a quick look. My girl has a nice,
- 57:26Speaker 1: big behind, but I like to wind the shopping. She
- 57:29Speaker 1: hates it. First of all, let's just deal with them.
- 57:34Speaker 1: It always happens. See what you're gonna have to do,
- 57:39Speaker 1: young man, is you're gonna have to pay attention to
- 57:41Speaker 1: where you at now. Obviously, since it always happened you
- 57:45Speaker 1: had a hood mall, you have a mall in the hood.
- 57:50Speaker 1: You're gonna have to start going to some white mall.
- 57:54Speaker 1: And you don't have to go early in the morning
- 57:57Speaker 1: for the for the mall week open up that way
- 58:01Speaker 1: you can walk and ain't nothing in that but old
- 58:02Speaker 1: people walking. That is your only way. A white mall.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Befold the mall open, then you won't have to see
- 58:15Speaker 1: these big behind So now you try to catch a
- 58:22Speaker 1: quick My girl has a night bit, but I like
- 58:24Speaker 1: to wind a shop and she hates it. So, Steve,
- 58:30Speaker 1: is this normal? Let me tell you something. Yes, this
- 58:36Speaker 1: is normal. Thank you. Yes, I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 58:41Speaker 1: This is normal. What's normal to wind a shop? To
- 58:46Speaker 1: look at women when they walk back, not when you're
- 58:49Speaker 1: with your wife or your girlfriend. Be quiet. Sure you
- 58:54Speaker 1: had the answer because you don't know about it. Whatever,
- 58:58Speaker 1: he says, Steve, it's this normal. You know nothing about it.
- 59:03Speaker 1: The only way you in this letter, Sherley, is you
- 59:06Speaker 1: want of them big behind women that's walking by this boy. Now,
- 59:11Speaker 1: that's why you The reason I was getting along with
- 59:16Speaker 1: it to you jumped in. But since you want to
- 59:17Speaker 1: jump in, then let's put you in it. You is
- 59:20Speaker 1: who this letter is about. He said, he always with
- 59:25Speaker 1: his woman and some woman with a big behind. Come
- 59:28Speaker 1: back now, Sharley, Steve Harvey, quit walking past this boy
- 59:33Speaker 1: when he with his girl. Okay, all right, now you
- 59:38Speaker 1: want to stay out of it? Now, come on, he says,
- 59:44Speaker 1: So Steve, is this normal? Yes, this is normal. Uh
- 59:49Speaker 1: to me, it is a natural thing. And guys just
- 59:51Speaker 1: can't help themselves when they see a nice big behind.
- 59:53Speaker 1: We started acting like a fat kid with Kate. But
- 59:56Speaker 1: let me explain something to you, young man. Fat kids
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: with cakes get their ass whooped all the time. This
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: is and a fat kid will take our ask with
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: it over some cake. So what you're gonna mess around
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: to do until you learned the way to contain this?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: You're gonna be taking ask me about this cake? Now
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: there behinds that don't belong to you that you love
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: when the shopping that then you ask me is a
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: natural thing. Yes, it's a natural thing. But you're going
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to have to develop the techniques to do this. I've
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: even tried wearing sunglasses to hide my sunglasses don't work,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: even the big ones with the sides on it. Now,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: it don't work. Women know you're looking. They see it too.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: But sometimes I let out a little grunt when I
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: sitting at that sea right here for see, here's what
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you did right here? Now here? She coming, This is
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: what you go and how do you know that's it?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: One more time? Did it? We all here here going
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: no one go. But now you've got to learn. Now
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you've got to do some other things other than making
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: these noises. Boy, here's one. Bite your lip off. Bite
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: it now. Sometimes it will bleed. If it's really good,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: it's gonna be blood in your mind. Now you want
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: to try that. Then you got to develop an in
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: a mond. See you're going, m you out loud. You've
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: got to internalize it. Here's a way to internalize it.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Act like you're scratching the back of your hand to
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: do like this, but you'm scratching the back of your
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: head and go danger. Yeah, you've got to internalize this. Oh,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: here's another one. You've got to develop a bark, like
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: just out of nowhere. You can bark, Are you crazy?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: You can, my friend, you can act like you saw
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: bro ignorantly. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: come on, let's get to part two of today's young
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: man is having a problem. When he's with his girl,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: he's looking at other women's behind. He can't help it.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: He likes to win the show. He tells me, seeing
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: a nice big behind and say me and started like
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: fat kid. I reminded him that a lot of people
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: have fat, a lot of fat kids that had to.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: In fact, he will fight out kate every time they're
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: getting a damn fire box. I've even tried to wearing
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: sunglasses the high mine that don't matter. But sometimes I
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: let out a little grunt when I see a fine woman,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: not see you moaning. Now, now I've told you, this
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: grunt has to become inner. You gotta get this inner
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: all Like I said before, if you was in the frat,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you could develop a ball. You could act like you
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: see in another queue on the other side of the
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: moligle so doc okay, but he ain't in a friend
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: so stupid, which is your damn shame? Okay? Now, will
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: this urge ever go away? Well no, all son, but
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you're gonna have to manage it better, because, like Shirley said,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: it is a sign of disrespect to your girl. So
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: how do you manage it better? I have two other
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: ways to help you. Come on. Number one, whichever way
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the girl is going, turn your head ten yards ahead
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: of where she's walking and let her walk into your
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: eyeline and passed back. That's it. That's it. That's it.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: You see her coming, you turn around and look back
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: over your shoulder and let her walk past your shoulder.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: You already turned that way. That's all you get and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: turned back around and keep walking, and nothing said. You
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: gotta let him walk into your eyeline. That's for stars.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: The last suggestion I have for you is you have
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to make this moment spiritual. The Lord come. I just said,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: you have to make this a spiritual moment. So this
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: would allow you to say something out loud and not
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: get in troubleful, like when I passed by fine woman
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: and she walked past. This is all I say, Jesus,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: mm hmm, that's it. But but if your lady here,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you say that that's cool, it's not cold. And then
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: if my lady snatched Jesus, Father, God bless this union,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: help us slow, stay together. You didn't go into prayer.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: If she said, what do you say, Jesus help us slow,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: bless my favorite whatever you What you can't do is
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: get mad at me for having prayer. So so understand,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: if you if you're walking and you at the at
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: the White Mall, and Kim Kardashian is shopping, and you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: and your lady and this boy and his lady together
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: and she passed by. What do the boy do now? Baby?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You see Kim Kardashi, Baby, look over here, this is
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Kim kote that you who ain't gonna do that now?
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: The whole time you pregnant, Kim you looking at I
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: hate all of that right over here. Listen, perfect under
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: the dress I mean, by the drink, I mean at
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the count. Learn to control yourselves. Okay, so do the
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: LA does not do this and they see it all
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the day time. But we're smarting all the time. But
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: women don't make noises because we're smarter, all right. Steve
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: introduced our girl she is here. A uh, that's another
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: one too that I do. That was all the time
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: to just fined at all. We gotta go Instagram or
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: email us your thoughts on today's strawberry letter at my
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: girls surely now Steve, she is here introduced our girl
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: stay have, stay have. President Trump was in southern California.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: President Obama was a president. We didn't care about the traffic.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: We sat in the traffic jam and was proud was
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: wasn't we? Brothers? Listeners? Information to share with you about that?
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: What's that what's the information he was doing a somebody
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: threw him a fundraiser in my gated community. So what
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: are you saying he gonna go to the Homo Social.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I couldn't come through the gate on the north side
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: because he was up there and they blocked off all
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: the more Hollet. You couldn't go down More Holland between
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: wood Cliff, between the Sunset and all the way between
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Cold Water. You could not go down More Holland. Could
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you back around and take the four or five and
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: get off on the Getty Center and then go down
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: couldn't know? I had to go over Cold Water, go
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: down to Sunset, drive back down by the Beverly Hill Center.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Didn't go home, I mean not to Beverly Center, go
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: back and pass Beverly Hills Hotel and then cut up there.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: You didn't. I'm gonna say something. I drove White pass
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: ware Yards. I saw a hundred motorcycle see him? No,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I didn't see. Listen. This is what it is, Brothers
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: and sister racism. That's what it was. Stee. You live
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: in the community, you uhould be able to drive in
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and out wherever you drive. And my right brother, Steve,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: how are you playing Home Association vs. And everything everybody else.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I was sure. I was so damn man, me and
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: the other homeboy. You should see the people at that
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: gate and they wouldn't open that gate. Lord him Mercy
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: wait man Steve. Steve was the other white people standing
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: with you. What what what's going on? You know? Well,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: let me tell you something. But see I have I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: live in a very multicultural division. Yes, so it's a
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: lot of you know, yes, it's everybody, and now everybody
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: everybody latinos date date the people over, they're paper up.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: So you know what it means. Hot if you've seen
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the line up a car, you oh, they got their
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: head out the cars. They they didn't got out the car.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: You know how they staying vote for him? Open the

- 1:09:13Speaker 1: l a well kind of tom Foolericia Nanigans. They oh,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: they come up with the words. They come up to work.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: All black people say, is I can't get it quack wack. Hey, Cheryl,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: did you see the protesters when they said they had
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: those I miss Obama signs? Let's say it again, say

- 1:19:02Speaker 1: together here, in cluding you with your jealous hate. Thank
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: you now. But that was not nice what you said.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Come on now, he gonna be nice, all right, listen,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, yeah, nice, Wow, she said, I'm sorry. Apologies recorded, apologies,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: acceptance sister were recorded and played back when you need
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: a clean, clean slate. Alright, good, let's move on, ladies.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: All right, So now we're gonna talking about Real Housewives
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: of Atlanta. As you know, the ladies are on a
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: trip to Barcelona, Spain. They finally checked into this nice
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: hotel they've been wanting to go to, and while they
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: were in the sprinter riding to the new hotel, Nina
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: told the girls that Porsche left and that Marlowe said
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: it was because Porscha was hurt. Excuse me, but Porscha
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: was hurt by what she did to Ken. Well, Marlowe,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you know you had some part in that too. You
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: were being very meant to Porsche on the trip, So, uh, Nini,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: she kind of want the ladies to forgive Porsche and
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you know, let's squash all that and get back together.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: But in my opinion, I think, surely Porscha she really
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: just needs to show some remorse and be really sincere
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: when she apologizes to Candy, and I think he can
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: get past it and move on. I think that's what's
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: missing with Porsche. It's just not coming across that she
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: is really sorry for what happened last season. With all
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: the drama with Phedro. It's like she's trying to carl it.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: But they want her to apologize to them as a
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: group because she's gone around to them individually. Right, Yeah,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: but it's still I don't know if Candy is feeling
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: how she apologized to her specifically, So we'll see. We'll
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: see as the season goes on. So now, say, Junior,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: she kept missing her call from her tyrone in prison,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: but she finally got a chance to talk to him,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: and she was in our hotel room, and Nini made
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: it perfectly clear he was gonna keep calling. Yeah, she'd
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: got it. He's gonna keep going. Yeah, Nini's tact him
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: really weird about Tyrone though. Yeah, she's she's tripping, Like
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: if you ask her anything about Tyrone, she's making it
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: perfectly clear that she didn't date him and there was
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: nothing going on. Okay's boyfriend who's in prison, he locked up.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: But if you say, yeah, but if you say anything
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: about him to her, Nini, we should check his books,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you think, Nini and put some money on his book,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Nini said, asked me about Greg. Yeah, no other no,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: other man. She really changed the subject. That's what she's
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: supposed to do, right, Yeah, it's something though, it's something. Yeah,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it's just the way that she trips about him all
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the time when his name is you know, men in
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: any way, but said they dated, right, did Tyrone Sharid's
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: man say they dated? Kind No, he just said she
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: didn't want him to go there. Yeah, it was kind
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: of like that. So yeah, it all come out. But anyway,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Candy came up with this idea that Sharay should dress
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: up and do a sexy photo shoot and sent to
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: her man Tyrone in prison. So they did a little
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: photo shoot. Sharad she wasn't really feeling that they didn't
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: want to do. She didn't she didn't want to do it.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: And then marlow did you see this? Shirley Marlowe duct
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: taped the dressed so they would stay in place for
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: the photo shoot. Really did that? It was really crazy?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: Did you know he not in the sale by himself?
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Put that picture on the wall? Watch how crowded yourself?
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: Thank you Junior for keeping it anyway. This episode shoot, yeah,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: on the episode let me pull up. But it was
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I mean, she wasn't neck it or anything. Oh God,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: please continue, Carla. Yeah, it was just a sexy photo
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: shoot anyway, Cynthia. This episode ended where Cynthia she wanted
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: to do something positive with the ladies Sisterhood. So they
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: go to this beach in on any in Spain. They
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: were in Spain, right, So Cynthia gave all the girls
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: candles and each person they had each person's name under
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: the candle, and the ladies had to say something positive
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: about that person. So I want us to try that
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: exercise right here, right now, Steve, you say something positive
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: about Tommy go hello, Okay, Okay, I'm come on radio.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: He shouldn't be that hard, Steve, Okay, I'll say something

- 1:24:25Speaker 1: turn off. Okay, Okay, when we come back, then you
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: do it first, and then and I do it. Yes, Okay,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: how much time do you need? All right, more of
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: this craziness when we come back. You're listening to the
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Steven Show. Okay. Before we left, um Carla, in the
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: middle of reality updates, you were asking um us to
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: mimic an exercise that the ladies from Atlanta Housewives did,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and I thought that was a really good exercise. What
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: they did was each person took a turn and uh
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: saying something nice about a person. So go ahead continue, Carl.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: I like this exercise. We both just said something nice
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: about each other, and you asked Steve to say something
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: nice about his nephew and we're still waiting. So Steve,
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: you're upward. It's time for you to say something positive
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: about Tommy and then we'll finish up with the rest
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: of the crew. The ladies have already gone go ahead, soon,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead me okay, Tommy, Tommy first and
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: by saying that, okay, I forgot alright, take them positive
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: about your uncle. But you love You've known him all
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: your life. You look out for you now? Yes, he
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: does here we are. You are a wonderful angry rich
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I say it positive? Angry is not a positive Try again,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: take to ye. It's not a positive word. It's not positive. Okay.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: How do words struggle for these two? Do you all
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: like each other at all? Oh? Jor positive? We are progressive? Okay,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: this is the worst angry I have to you. Angry.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I don't just leave that word out and go on,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: leave angry out. You are he is a wonderful Okay,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you are a wonderful progressive. Get on my nerves, rich uncle,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Can you think? Get on your nerves? You think that's positive?
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Y'all want me to lae. You won't need therapy, y'all
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: won't me? Okay? Can he go? Because I can't fast. Okay,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: all right, Okay, Tommy, you are really really fast. Oh
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: my god. If he's not racist and you this is
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: supposed to be a positive exercise. Guy trying, I'm doing it.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: And you have the ability to challenge others when when
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: when you shouldn't. Okay, wait a minute, you you shouldn't.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: You are tall. You are tall for a little person. Okay,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I think you all. Maybe he is he is. You
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: don't remember how it went? Okay, the best You are
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: the best stupid person I've ever met, Tommy. Hold On,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: hold on, We're gonna give you this example one more time. Carla.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: I think you're beautiful. I think you're wonderful. I think
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: you're a great mom. You're a great career woman, and
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: you're a wonderful wife. Shirley, I think you are the bomb.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: I love you how you've been in a career for
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: a long time, your longevity. You are a strong woman.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: You take care of your family, you take care of
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: your daughter, and you are loving wife. Okay, got it. Steve,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: you are grumpy, you angry? Stop you stop, no, no, no,
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: what you have to be positive? Do you not think? Okay, Steve,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: go with God. The example we gave you an example, guys,
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: and from that, I don't think so all right, listen,
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: we're going to continue this exercise when we come back.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: While we're at on break, I want you guys to
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: think of positivity, okay, about each other. We'll be right back.
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Ron's Family. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I think it's your turn. Now you know what I
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: want to go again? You got it? I got it.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: I think Jesus. Okay, now Shirley needs to sea we
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: got it. Okay, we're doing an exercise. If you saw
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday, Cynthia had the
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: girls go out to the beach in Barcelona and each
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: person got another person's name and they said something nice
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: about each other and it was a really beautiful exercise.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: So Carla, during her reality update, wanted us to practice
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: it here on this show because sometimes, you know, we
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: can go at each other. So let's make this exercise
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: about positivity. Carla, you're a beautiful person. I love your attitude,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: I love your work ethic. You're a great mom and
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: a great wife. You are an outstanding man. You are legends.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: You are a leader. You are a man's man. You
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: are a philanthropist. You are an example of what a
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: man should be. You are a foot soldier for your people.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: You you, you know what, you are, an exception to
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: your race and to mankind. Your outstand what's happening? Oh
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: my god, I got it? About to cry? You got it, Tommy, Okay,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: I want to say that. Okay, okay, this is going
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: to be. You are very honest. You just told the truth,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: and you are almost everything you said I wanted you guys,
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: got it. This is one that was good almost, but
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: then you almost everything you said I was, and in
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: thirty more years of hard labor you could be here.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Congratulations on your work. I think that also. Let me
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: add this to have overcome? Are you reading this stage?
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: You're supposed to speak this from your heart? I'm trying
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: it just sound read time. You are an amazing, amazing
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: person to have overcome all the things you've had to
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: overcome in your life to get where you are. His shortness,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: his lack of speed, his lack of common sense, his
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: badly inability to think rationally, and for him to even
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: be here still living at fifty, with all that's wrong
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: with him, is a testament to his determination as a man.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: He should be Dad. You had all that going on
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: with you, Sherley, and you was here, I would be
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: saying the same thing about you. Exercise sucks for us.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: I don't want to again, and the fact that you're
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: stupid and still are able to go to work every day.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Did I show him love? Now? Yes, yes, you got
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the exercise. I finally got it. I showed some love.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: And look look at the come back. Okay, took at
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: the clap back. Here's what I think. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: try to get it right. Okay. I think say something
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: nice that Tommy could be a superstar for a major
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: fortune five hundred company. That's good. What what? What company?
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I think you could be an ambassador for a fortune
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: five hundred company? You think I could be a bastard
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: for who? Oh my god? We gotta go hold please
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: let me see come back, come back, come back. We'll
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: come back to wrap up the show right after this.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Before we left, we were doing the exercise about going,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: you know, going around the room and saying something nice
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: about each other. Carl and I said something nice about
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: each other, which I truly meant from my heart. Yeah right,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: and I know you did, and and thank you and
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: and Tommy finally got the exercise. I did several examples.
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: He said something very kind about your uncle, and then
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: your uncle has yet to have ripen. No, he said
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: you could be an ambassador for a fortune five company. Okay,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I thought, what I call me abassad? I ain't what
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: I said ambassador. I really do, Tommy, I think that
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: you have the qualities to become an ambassador for a
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: fortune five hundred company. Okay, So which company? Walmart? Okay,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: that's yeah, Okay, Okay, let him finish. I want to
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna do it. Can he say Walmart? Though?
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: Can he say your blue vessel? You pass out the
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: grocery cars? Hey, welcome to Walmart. Yeah, that's the ambassading.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: I'm I'm passing our cars. And don't forget what in
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: the wall? Yeah? What you gotta say that I can see?

- 1:36:29Speaker 1: all the things tender they've it's it's endless social media,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: all the blogs. Don't get hung up in other opinions,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: other people's opinion of you. Do not lose yourself in likes,
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: Do not lose yourself in views and comments. Do not
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: allow yourself to be judged by those who are not
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: supposed to even be in the judging business. Do not
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: let someone else's opinion of you affect who you are
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: and what you think of yourself. First of all, they
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: don't even know you. How they got a problem with you,
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: and they don't even know you. Stop seeking the approval
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: of people who don't even count in your life. You're
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: seeking approval from a negative person. People who troll the internet,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: who are Internet trolls, they're they're to troll to make
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: negative comments. Why would you ask the opinion of a
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: negative person and then be thrown aback when you get
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: a negative opinion of you. That's their job. But can
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: I tell you something. They don't even know you. They
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: have no effect unless you allow them. They no effect
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: on your outcome, on your position, on your destiny, of
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: your hopes, of your dreams. They're not even players. It
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: is amazing. I saw somewhere online this guy said that
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: it's amazing man that I've never met any of my
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: haters at the bank. I've never met any of my
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: haters at the store where I shop. I've never met
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: any of my haters at any of the success seminars
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: I've ever gone to. I've never met any of my
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: haters at the award shows. I've never met any of
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: my haters on my job in line for promotions with me.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: I've never even met you at anywhere that's positive. You
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: know why, because they don't belong there, because they don't qualify.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: Stop allowing unqualified people to make assessments and opinions of you.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: People's opinion of you as none of your business, nor
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: should you make it yours. Ignore the haters have a
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: great play, alright, Steve, right on time to comment this morning,
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: so I should ignore what you're just saying about the earth.
