- 0:01Speaker 1: We're going to charge countries for doing business in our
- 0:05Speaker 1: country and taking our jobs, taking our wealth. Friend and foe,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and frankly friend has been oftentimes much worse than FAE.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Business is coming back to the United States. So this
- 0:15Speaker 1: is the beginning of Liberation Day in America.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. Welcome, it is the forty seven Morning
- 0:24Speaker 3: Up Day with Ben Ferguson. And here are the three
- 0:26Speaker 3: big stories that you need to know about right now.
- 0:29Speaker 3: First up, at least Dephonics says, I'm staying in Congress
- 0:32Speaker 3: why to assure the Trump agenda to make America great again?
- 0:37Speaker 3: Continues the details on why this is such an important
- 0:40Speaker 3: decision coming up in a moment. Also, Donald Trump promised
- 0:44Speaker 3: that if you were anti American and here on a
- 0:46Speaker 3: visa from overseas on our college campuses, we're done with you.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Making good on that promise. Now more than three hundred
- 0:53Speaker 3: pro hamas terrorists protesters have gotten their visas revoked on
- 0:59Speaker 3: college camp and they say they're not done yet. I'll
- 1:02Speaker 3: have those details as well. And finally, the Trump administration
- 1:06Speaker 3: making it very clear after catching many of the domestic
- 1:09Speaker 3: terrorists going after Tesla dealerships. We won't negotiate plea deals
- 1:14Speaker 3: on any anti Tesla violence cases. It's the forty seven
- 1:19Speaker 3: Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:22Speaker 3: I want to start with a very important story that
- 1:25Speaker 3: the media is absolutely lying to the American people about.
- 1:30Speaker 3: The story headline looks like it could be a scandal.
- 1:33Speaker 3: The White House is withdrawing representatives to phonics nomination as
- 1:38Speaker 3: the UN ambassador. Naturally, people think, oh my gosh, what
- 1:42Speaker 3: did she do wrong? What happened? Why is it that
- 1:45Speaker 3: they have stopped this, and what is the scandal behind it? Well,
- 1:49Speaker 3: let me explain it to you very clearly. There is
- 1:52Speaker 3: no scandal at all if you actually understand why they
- 1:56Speaker 3: decide to pull her name for that nomination. Now, let's
- 1:58Speaker 3: go back in time and I'm to walk you through this.
- 2:01Speaker 3: In November of twenty twenty four, President Donald Trump nominated
- 2:05Speaker 3: Representative Stefanic of New York to serve as the United
- 2:07Speaker 3: States Ambassador the UN. Now, if you actually know what
- 2:11Speaker 3: is going on, what I'm about to tell you is
- 2:14Speaker 3: actually not a big deal makes a lot of sense.
- 2:17Speaker 3: There is a reason why President Trump withdrew her nomination
- 2:21Speaker 3: on Thursday, emphasizing the critical need to maintain the Republican
- 2:26Speaker 3: Party's narrow majority in the House of Representatives, he stated, quote,
- 2:31Speaker 3: as we advanced our America First agenda, it is essential
- 2:34Speaker 3: that we maintain every Republican seat in Congress now at
- 2:39Speaker 3: the time, this is the numbers. Republicans are holding a
- 2:42Speaker 3: very slim majority two eighteen to two thirteen in the House.
- 2:46Speaker 3: There are four vacant seats right now, and Stephanic's departure
- 2:50Speaker 3: to assume the UN ambassador role would have well necessitated
- 2:54Speaker 3: Ay's special election of filler congressional seat. Here's the problem.
- 2:57Speaker 3: This is not a seat that is in a place
- 2:59Speaker 3: that you would guaranteed that a Republican would win. That
- 3:03Speaker 3: could easily jeopardize the GOP's ability to pass Donald Trump's
- 3:08Speaker 3: key legislation. House Speaker Mike Johnson, by the way, coming
- 3:11Speaker 3: out supporting the decision as well, highlighting Sephank's vital role
- 3:15Speaker 3: in advancing the party's legislative priorities now. Sephonik, who represented
- 3:21Speaker 3: New York's twenty first district since twenty fifteen, had previously
- 3:25Speaker 3: stepped down from her position as Chair of the House
- 3:28Speaker 3: Republican conference in anticipation of her ambassadorial appointment. Her continued
- 3:34Speaker 3: presence in Congress is seen as crucial for maintaining party
- 3:38Speaker 3: unity and ensuring the passage of significant initiatives on the
- 3:41Speaker 3: Republican agenda. So let's just step back and let you
- 3:45Speaker 3: totally understand this. There is nothing here except for Republicans
- 3:50Speaker 3: making the right decision. Let me also be clear that
- 3:53Speaker 3: I think that if Republicans gain in the House in
- 3:55Speaker 3: the midterms, there's a very good chance that Representative Elise
- 3:58Speaker 3: Stephonic could then go back can get a major job
- 4:01Speaker 3: in this administration. She would have been perfect to be
- 4:04Speaker 3: the US Ambassador United Nations. But it doesn't matter as
- 4:07Speaker 3: much if you lose control of the House and it
- 4:09Speaker 3: stalls Donald Trump's agenda of putting America First. We must
- 4:14Speaker 3: be unified to accomplish our mission, and elist Dephonic has
- 4:17Speaker 3: been a vital part of our efforts from the very beginning.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Trump also wrote, I've asked atleast as one of my
- 4:23Speaker 3: biggest allies to remain in Congress, quote unquote Donald Trump,
- 4:28Speaker 3: making it clear that he is a huge fan of
- 4:31Speaker 3: her work and is basically saying, I know you'd be
- 4:34Speaker 3: great at this other job. But right now I need
- 4:37Speaker 3: you in Congress, so there's no doubt that we get
- 4:40Speaker 3: the America First Agenda passed.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Now story number two, you can.
- 4:44Speaker 3: File what I'm about to tell you under promises kept
- 4:48Speaker 3: after promises were made by Donald Trump during the campaign.
- 4:52Speaker 3: We now have more students that are being arrested by
- 4:56Speaker 3: ICE on college campuses. At the University of Alabama, a
- 5:01Speaker 3: doctoral student has been arrested by ICE. And also in
- 5:04Speaker 3: another headline from the Associated Press, they are now reporting
- 5:08Speaker 3: that a Turkish student at Tuffts University is the latest
- 5:12Speaker 3: Palestinian supporter swept up in a US crack down. Now
- 5:16Speaker 3: let's go to Alabama first. The University of Alabama says
- 5:19Speaker 3: one of its doctoral students has been arrested by Immigration
- 5:23Speaker 3: and Customs enforcement, adding to the growing list of foreign
- 5:26Speaker 3: students that have been targeted by law enforcement. Quote. The
- 5:30Speaker 3: University of Alabama recently learned that a doctoral student has
- 5:34Speaker 3: been detained off campus by federal immigration authorities. Federal privacy
- 5:39Speaker 3: laws limit what can be shared about the individual student,
- 5:41Speaker 3: the university said. The student, an Iranian national, was identified
- 5:46Speaker 3: by the Crimson White. Now that's the university's student newspaper,
- 5:49Speaker 3: who has a student visa, was detained this week, and
- 5:52Speaker 3: it's not clear what, if any charges he is facing.
- 5:55Speaker 3: The Hill reached out to the Department of Home in
- 5:57Speaker 3: Security for comment. Most of the foreign student, by the way,
- 6:00Speaker 3: the Trump administration's target have been involved in pro palaestin
- 6:04Speaker 3: in protests. In some way, the administration is seeking to
- 6:07Speaker 3: make use of a law They say the Secretary of
- 6:09Speaker 3: State can deport a non citizen who threatens the foreign
- 6:13Speaker 3: policy of the nation. Against these individuals, now, don't worry.
- 6:18Speaker 3: The lefties at the University of Alabama and the College
- 6:20Speaker 3: Democrats put out a statement saying, quote, our fears have
- 6:24Speaker 3: come to pass. Donald Trump and Tom Homan and Ice
- 6:28Speaker 3: have struck a cold, vicious dagger through the hearts of
- 6:32Speaker 3: au international community. Students at several high profile universities across
- 6:38Speaker 3: the country have also been detained amid the Trump administration's
- 6:41Speaker 3: crack down. Another example of that is what we're now
- 6:44Speaker 3: hearing from the Associated Press that a Turkish student at
- 6:47Speaker 3: Tufts University has been arrested. Now the Turkish student was
- 6:51Speaker 3: detained by federal officers as she walked along a street
- 6:54Speaker 3: in Boston suburb. It's the latest supporter of a palestin
- 6:57Speaker 3: in causes group that have been swept up, and the
- 7:00Speaker 3: Trump administration's cracked down on immigrants who have expressed their
- 7:03Speaker 3: political views. That's how the AP is reporting it. In reality,
- 7:07Speaker 3: that's not actually what they're doing. The Trump administration is
- 7:11Speaker 3: cracking down on immigrants who have student visas who are
- 7:15Speaker 3: actually threatening and going after others in the US. The
- 7:20Speaker 3: thirty year old, a doctoral student at Tufts University, was
- 7:23Speaker 3: swiftly moved out of Massachusetts, a demonstration of how US
- 7:26Speaker 3: Immigration and Customs enforcement is sending immigrants who are taken
- 7:30Speaker 3: into cussy to detention centers, are deporting them altogether before
- 7:34Speaker 3: a federal judge has a chance to weigh in on
- 7:36Speaker 3: their case and possibly halt the actions. That is how
- 7:39Speaker 3: the AP is sounding the alarm. The woman who was
- 7:42Speaker 3: attained Tuesday, shortly after she left her home in Somerville
- 7:46Speaker 3: had been moved to a nice detention center in Louisiana
- 7:49Speaker 3: by the time her lawyer went to court and a
- 7:51Speaker 3: judge ordered her to be kept in Massachusetts. US government
- 7:55Speaker 3: lawyers set in a court document Thursday, they said they
- 7:58Speaker 3: made her lawyers aware that she was being moved and
- 8:00Speaker 3: facilitated contact with her Wednesday night. A senior Department of
- 8:05Speaker 3: Home in Security spokesman said federal authorities detain the woman
- 8:08Speaker 3: after an investigation found that she had quote engaged in
- 8:12Speaker 3: activities in support of Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization that
- 8:17Speaker 3: relishes the killing of Americans. The department did not provide
- 8:21Speaker 3: evidence of that support. Of course, is how again the
- 8:24Speaker 3: AP is trying to make it look like Donald Trump
- 8:26Speaker 3: did something wrong. Now if you look at the facts here,
- 8:29Speaker 3: when the Department of Homeland Security in this case tells
- 8:32Speaker 3: you what happened, they say they are deporting a woman
- 8:35Speaker 3: that is engaged in activities in support of a terrorist
- 8:39Speaker 3: organization that relishes the killing of Americans Hamas. That right,
- 8:44Speaker 3: there should be enough to say, Okay, this is a
- 8:47Speaker 3: good decision for America. It's a good decision for the
- 8:50Speaker 3: safety of students on college campuses. And why on earth
- 8:54Speaker 3: would you want someone like this in America? As our guest.
- 8:58Speaker 3: The Secretary of State, by the way, Marco Rubio, said,
- 9:01Speaker 3: the Trump administration is revoked the visas of at least
- 9:03Speaker 3: three hundred people, including this woman. We do it every day,
- 9:07Speaker 3: quote unquote. We gave you a visa to come and
- 9:09Speaker 3: study and get a degree not to become a social activist,
- 9:13Speaker 3: to tear up our university campuses, Rubio said to reporters
- 9:16Speaker 3: during a stop in Ghana. So, Marrow, the story is this.
- 9:19Speaker 3: If you think Donald Trump and the State Department or
- 9:22Speaker 3: Tom Homan or Marco Ruby are going to stop deporting
- 9:24Speaker 3: students that are clearly hating America or supporting terrorist organizations,
- 9:28Speaker 3: so well you're wrong, because they're doing it quote every day.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And lastly, story number three.
- 9:34Speaker 3: If there is a theme that you could say relates
- 9:37Speaker 3: to Donald Trump and his White House and law enforcement
- 9:41Speaker 3: under him, it's pretty clear it's fafo. And with the
- 9:45Speaker 3: recent developments in the investigation of the attacks on Tesla properties,
- 9:50Speaker 3: well now they've led to a significant number of arrests,
- 9:53Speaker 3: highlighting law enforcement's commitment to addressing these terrorist incidents. In
- 9:58Speaker 3: Las Vegas, authorities of APPA pre hinted a thirty six
- 10:01Speaker 3: year old on charges including arson and possession of an
- 10:04Speaker 3: explosive device. The man was accused of attacking a Tesla
- 10:08Speaker 3: service center, fire bombing it and having firearms, resulting in
- 10:13Speaker 3: vehicle fires and property damage. And Texarcano, there was a
- 10:17Speaker 3: thirty three year old that was arrested for allegedly running
- 10:20Speaker 3: his all terrain vehicle into multiple park teslas. Tesla's Century
- 10:24Speaker 3: Mode captured footage of the incidents, aiding in his identification
- 10:29Speaker 3: and arrest. The man now faces charges of felony, criminal mischief,
- 10:33Speaker 3: and failure to identify. These arrests are demonstrate the effectiveness
- 10:38Speaker 3: of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and also the
- 10:42Speaker 3: role of technology with Tesla and ensuring public safety. Yes,
- 10:46Speaker 3: getting caught by the Tesla's cameras, you gotta admit is
- 10:49Speaker 3: pretty hilarious. Now, Pamboni is not laughing at all about
- 10:53Speaker 3: any of this. In fact, Pamboni went on Fox News
- 10:56Speaker 3: Channel to make it very clear if you're one of
- 10:58Speaker 3: these people involved in this domestic terrorism with Tesla, well
- 11:02Speaker 3: you're not getting a deal ever from us.
- 11:05Speaker 4: What's happening with this Las Vegas Tesla criminal who he
- 11:10Speaker 4: was arrested and now federal charges have been filed against him.
- 11:14Speaker 4: This was something that was needed given everything we're seeing
- 11:18Speaker 4: happening to those dealerships and those cars across the country.
- 11:21Speaker 5: That was remarkable police work, working with the state Police,
- 11:24Speaker 5: r FBI. They have been going non stop on this case.
- 11:28Speaker 5: This guy is in custody Laura. He is facing five
- 11:31Speaker 5: year minimum mandatory to twenty years in prison. And this
- 11:35Speaker 5: was great police work. This guy thought he got away
- 11:37Speaker 5: with it. So these people better look out. They better
- 11:40Speaker 5: cut it out because we are coming after you, and
- 11:42Speaker 5: at my direction, there will be no negotiating on these people.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:46Speaker 5: We are seeking twenty years in prison. They are setting
- 11:49Speaker 5: off bombs, the huge fires. Look what you're seeing, huge
- 11:53Speaker 5: massive fires in residential neighbors, going to get schlaging stations.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Someone is going to get killed, a citizen is going
- 11:58Speaker 5: to get killed. And these people, we are not doing
- 12:01Speaker 5: any plea negotiations on them now.
- 12:03Speaker 3: The question obviously is will these crazy stop attacking Tesla cars.
- 12:07Speaker 3: The answer is probably no, because I'm assuming that many
- 12:11Speaker 3: of them believe that they're somehow gonna get away with it.
- 12:14Speaker 3: But what we do know is that this administration is
- 12:17Speaker 3: coming after you, and when they catch you, you're not
- 12:20Speaker 3: gonna get a plea deal. This is not the Biden
- 12:22Speaker 3: administration that goes easy on criminal activities.
