- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: digging enough one and only Steve Harvey Man got a
- 2:11Speaker 7: radio show. Wow man, how good has God been to me?
- 2:15Speaker 8: You know?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Today?
- 2:15Speaker 7: Let me get right to it because I'm kind of
- 2:18Speaker 7: feeling this today, and I'm pretty sure that's quite a
- 2:22Speaker 7: few of you who go through the same things today.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Today was just a little tough mourning for me because
- 2:29Speaker 7: I didn't want to leave home yesterday. You know, I
- 2:32Speaker 7: want to stay home a little. I had just gotten home,
- 2:35Speaker 7: you know, I gotta go again. And sometimes, you know,
- 2:38Speaker 7: just the weight of all that you have to do
- 2:41Speaker 7: just gets on you sometimes and sometimes you don't feel
- 2:45Speaker 7: like doing it today.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Huh.
- 2:48Speaker 7: You know, I'm just talking to those who feel this
- 2:51Speaker 7: way every now and then, and I'm assuming that would
- 2:54Speaker 7: be everybody, because I don't know nobody who can just
- 2:57Speaker 7: plow through this thing without having those days.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Well, what do you do.
- 3:03Speaker 7: When it gets hard to stay up? What do you
- 3:05Speaker 7: do when it gets hard to be positive? What do
- 3:10Speaker 7: you do when it seems like things aren't happening for
- 3:14Speaker 7: you fast enough or in the timeframe that you thought
- 3:17Speaker 7: it was going.
- 3:17Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 3:19Speaker 7: And the reason that I guess I chose to speak
- 3:22Speaker 7: about this this morning is because I'm having one of
- 3:25Speaker 7: those days. Because I had one of those days yesterday.
- 3:28Speaker 7: It's just a tough day. I really can't explain it.
- 3:30Speaker 7: It's nothing really in particular bad happened. It's just I
- 3:36Speaker 7: think the weight of all that's going on started to
- 3:43Speaker 7: feel heavy to me. And so what do you do
- 3:48Speaker 7: when you when you have days like that, when it's
- 3:50Speaker 7: hard to be positive, when it's hard to stay up? Okay,
- 3:53Speaker 7: here's what I had to start doing this morning. Now
- 3:56Speaker 7: I haven't completed it. Can I just be real with you.
- 4:00Speaker 7: I haven't completed it, but I am processing it out
- 4:04Speaker 7: because I know what to do. You know, been there,
- 4:07Speaker 7: done that, I done, had that pain before.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I know what to do.
- 4:10Speaker 7: You know, if I sprang my finger, I know what
- 4:12Speaker 7: to do now. You know the first spraying I had,
- 4:14Speaker 7: Oh Lord, I thought it was broke. I thought i'd
- 4:17Speaker 7: go be handicalf But now if I spray my finger,
- 4:19Speaker 7: I know what to do. So since I've been in
- 4:21Speaker 7: this position, in this hole so many times before and
- 4:25Speaker 7: God has always gotten me through it, I decided I've
- 4:28Speaker 7: got to start the process today. Want to here are
- 4:31Speaker 7: some things now, I'm going to get to the big
- 4:34Speaker 7: one last. And one of the things I do is
- 4:39Speaker 7: I remember the plan, sit down, and I consciously think
- 4:43Speaker 7: about the goals I've set.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I go over them.
- 4:47Speaker 7: See, I've gotten mine down on an iPad so I
- 4:50Speaker 7: can pull them out anywhere I am and pull them up.
- 4:53Speaker 7: And I've got two lists that I've made. I've got
- 4:55Speaker 7: a list of things that I know I can accomplish
- 4:58Speaker 7: if I just keep working and hard, and if it's
- 5:01Speaker 7: some couple of things just fall into place that I
- 5:04Speaker 7: can see. Then I got a list of things that
- 5:07Speaker 7: I'm planning on accomplishing. And then I have a second list.
- 5:11Speaker 7: And the heading of this list is called only God
- 5:15Speaker 7: can help me now. And on this list it's things
- 5:18Speaker 7: that I'm aspiring for or things that I'm hoping to
- 5:22Speaker 7: that in order for them to happen, I absolutely have
- 5:27Speaker 7: to have God's help.
- 5:29Speaker 2: That's my favorite list.
- 5:32Speaker 7: It's the list that I have of the things that
- 5:35Speaker 7: I don't see no way it can happen. I'm just
- 5:39Speaker 7: operating on faith and the hope that God hear me,
- 5:43Speaker 7: and so sometimes, man, when you got to when I
- 5:47Speaker 7: have this list of what only God can help me, now,
- 5:51Speaker 7: that list is stuff that.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I cannot see.
- 5:55Speaker 7: I'm just operating on faith that God is so much
- 5:58Speaker 7: bigger than me, that he's so much more capable than
- 6:01Speaker 7: I am, that I can actually acquire some things in
- 6:04Speaker 7: my life, as he's proven to me time and time
- 6:07Speaker 7: again up to this point, that He's willing to do
- 6:09Speaker 7: for me. If I'm willing to just give him some
- 6:12Speaker 7: of my life. That's only why I can explain my
- 6:15Speaker 7: existence today. You know, I began the conversation with my wife,
- 6:20Speaker 7: how do I write a book that becomes so wildly successful?
- 6:25Speaker 2: That would be God.
- 6:26Speaker 7: That's only God, Because if you can plan to sit
- 6:29Speaker 7: down and write a wildly successful book, I'd have been done,
- 6:32Speaker 7: sat down and did it, and so would you, So
- 6:36Speaker 7: that would be God. How it got purchased to become
- 6:39Speaker 7: a movie when that was not my intent when I
- 6:42Speaker 7: wrote the book at all.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Again, that would be God right there.
- 6:47Speaker 7: It has to be, because if I can't explain it
- 6:51Speaker 7: and it is by no doing of my own, then
- 6:53Speaker 7: who did it? So when I get down in days
- 6:56Speaker 7: like this, I remember the goal. I remember the plan.
- 7:00Speaker 7: I remember the journey. I think about of all the
- 7:03Speaker 7: things God has brought me through, how did I even
- 7:05Speaker 7: get to this point?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 7:06Speaker 7: I might be having a little Bama of a day.
- 7:08Speaker 7: Yeah I was a little down yesterday. Yeah, my bio
- 7:11Speaker 7: rhythms is off, whatever they want to call it. Yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 7: I'm just having one of those days. I feel a
- 7:16Speaker 7: little bit heavy. I need a vacation real bad. I
- 7:19Speaker 7: need some time off to just go and regenerate. But
- 7:22Speaker 7: right now, man, I ain't got that.
- 7:24Speaker 2: So guess what I do.
- 7:25Speaker 7: I gotta start remembering the plan. I gotta start remembering
- 7:29Speaker 7: the goals. I gotta start thinking about all the things
- 7:32Speaker 7: that God has done for me and how He's bought
- 7:34Speaker 7: me this far, and the blessings that I have instead
- 7:37Speaker 7: of what I don't have. And that's what I'm in
- 7:39Speaker 7: the process of doing this morning, And on the commercial breaks,
- 7:42Speaker 7: I'm gonna pull out my iPad, and I'm gonna go
- 7:44Speaker 7: over my two lists, and I'm gonna read my little
- 7:47Speaker 7: list of what I think I can accomplish, and I'm
- 7:49Speaker 7: gonna really read that only God can help Me Now list,
- 7:52Speaker 7: because that's the list that's big. That's the part where
- 7:54Speaker 7: I've been telling y'all. I said, quit telling God how
- 7:58Speaker 7: big your problems are. Start telling your problems how big
- 8:02Speaker 7: your God is.
- 8:03Speaker 9: See.
- 8:03Speaker 7: And that's what I got to sit down and do
- 8:05Speaker 7: this morning. And then sometimes, man, you got to stay still.
- 8:10Speaker 7: That's the other part. You got to stay still. You
- 8:14Speaker 7: gotta quit moving for a second, because sometimes it feels
- 8:18Speaker 7: like you're running on a treadmill and you really hate
- 8:21Speaker 7: you going somewhere, but it feel like you're running on
- 8:23Speaker 7: a treadmill. Well, when you get that feeling, sometimes you
- 8:26Speaker 7: got to stay still. And then when you stay still,
- 8:30Speaker 7: sometimes you gotta fight to stay positive. Sometimes you gotta
- 8:34Speaker 7: fight not to let the devil win. You're in a fight, mam.
- 8:36Speaker 7: I told you this. Now you're in a fight now.
- 8:38Speaker 7: So he trying to get you to get on that
- 8:40Speaker 7: positive train so he can get you off the faith train.
- 8:43Speaker 7: So God's delivery package that's coming to you built on
- 8:46Speaker 7: your faith that you can. He can shake your faith
- 8:48Speaker 7: and get you to thinking negative and then he wins. See,
- 8:51Speaker 7: so when you start feeling negative, just know that that's
- 8:54Speaker 7: the other force trying to throw you off track. And
- 8:57Speaker 7: when you get through it all that he is the
- 8:59Speaker 7: key to big one. You want me tell it to you.
- 9:00Speaker 7: You got to pray, man, You got to pray. You
- 9:04Speaker 7: got to take it to God. You got to say God,
- 9:06Speaker 7: look I'm having one of these days. I need your help.
- 9:09Speaker 7: I got business to take care of. You got blessings
- 9:11Speaker 7: in front of me. You got stuff you don ship
- 9:13Speaker 7: to me. You got blessings and packages that's on the way.
- 9:16Speaker 7: I need to be sitting on Faith streets so I
- 9:18Speaker 7: can receive the delivery when it gets there. What I
- 9:21Speaker 7: don't want to do is be it on be undoubted
- 9:23Speaker 7: way or lack of understanding parkway, or Pity parkway or
- 9:30Speaker 7: some street like that, and the package keep going by.
- 9:33Speaker 7: I need to be standing and sitting on Faith street,
- 9:36Speaker 7: so when you drop that package down to me, I
- 9:39Speaker 7: can go on and get it.
- 9:40Speaker 2: You feel me.
- 9:41Speaker 7: You got to pray. You got to stay still, you
- 9:44Speaker 7: gotta fight to stay positive. You gotta remember the plan.
- 9:47Speaker 7: You got to go over the goals. Come on, man,
- 9:49Speaker 7: God and brought you too far? Come on, pick yourself
- 9:52Speaker 7: up today. I'm talking to Steve Varvy this morning. I

- 17:38Speaker 8: I'm coming down?
- 17:39Speaker 10: How long?

- 35:38Speaker 2: No breaks.
- 35:39Speaker 11: All right, Well, hopefully Jennifer will be okay and everything
- 35:44Speaker 11: you know it said.
- 35:45Speaker 1: She was visibly shaken but not injured.
- 35:47Speaker 2: I hope she dancing down that hall waiting.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Yeah, we love that about her show too, all right.
- 35:56Speaker 11: Finally, a Florida man is facing serious charges after he
- 35:59Speaker 11: had robbed a Tiffany and Company jewelry store in Orlando, Florida,
- 36:05Speaker 11: and swallowed a pair of eight carrot diamond ear rings.
- 36:09Speaker 11: What The thief posed as an NBA agent that was
- 36:14Speaker 11: shopping for an Orlando Magic player, and he was taken
- 36:18Speaker 11: to a VIP room at Tiffany's and shown a pair
- 36:22Speaker 11: of eight carrot diamond ear rings and a four carrot
- 36:24Speaker 11: diamond ring, which together were valued at almost eight hundred
- 36:29Speaker 11: thousand dollars. He grabbed the jewelry and fled. Store associates
- 36:34Speaker 11: tried to stop him. He dropped the ring, but got
- 36:36Speaker 11: away with the earrings. He was arrested shortly after that,
- 36:39Speaker 11: and he said he swallowed the diamond earrings. A body
- 36:41Speaker 11: scan was done on him and it showed foreign objects
- 36:44Speaker 11: in his stomach, just like you said, believed to be
- 36:47Speaker 11: the earrings. He is facing two felony charges. Can you
- 36:51Speaker 11: imagine swallowing eight carrot diamonds?
- 36:53Speaker 7: Well, when he discharged them, they're gonna cut and I'll
- 36:55Speaker 7: just tell you.
- 36:58Speaker 1: All right, and we're gonna move on after that.
- 37:00Speaker 11: Coming up at twenty minutes after, there's a new economic
- 37:03Speaker 11: boycott starting today against Amazon. We'll talk about it right
- 37:07Speaker 11: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:13Speaker 2: This message is brought to you by Pfizer. Let's talk hell.
- 37:16Speaker 10: You may not know about Numa cocco disease, but if
- 37:19Speaker 10: you're fifty years old or nineteen or older with certain
- 37:21Speaker 10: medical conditions like diabetes, you'll at risk and it can
- 37:24Speaker 10: turn your plans big or small, into a hospital visit.
- 37:27Speaker 2: So get vaccinated.
- 37:28Speaker 10: It's one action you can take to help protect against
- 37:30Speaker 10: Newmacaco pneumonia and invasive Numacaco disease.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Keeping's on everything you looking forward to, even if.
- 37:37Speaker 10: It's just the podcast schedule a shot at vaxsassists dot com.
- 37:40Speaker 2: That's vasassists dot com.
- 37:43Speaker 11: Well, guys, there has still been no significant report of
- 37:46Speaker 11: last Friday's one day economic boycott and the financial impact
- 37:50Speaker 11: it had on retailers. But the boycotts continue starting today.
- 37:55Speaker 7: While you hold on one second show, I will tell
- 37:57Speaker 7: you this what It must have had some type of
- 38:00Speaker 7: effect because CNN came to interview Jamal.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Brian Okay for Target.
- 38:06Speaker 7: Yeah, oh yeah, so something something is going on. Somebody's
- 38:11Speaker 7: being affected. They're not coming down in for no reason. Yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 7: And I think it was effective and I think we
- 38:16Speaker 7: may be on to something.
- 38:17Speaker 11: So Jamal, all right, Well, the boycotts are continuing starting today, Steve,
- 38:23Speaker 11: since you asked, USA Today and Newsweek report that a
- 38:26Speaker 11: new boycott will start against Amazon. The Amazon boycott starts
- 38:31Speaker 11: today today is Friday.
- 38:33Speaker 1: March seventh.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Bought nothing from Amazon.
- 38:35Speaker 11: Nothing it's we're boycotting and it'll end. It's going it's
- 38:39Speaker 11: going down for a whole week. It's going to end
- 38:41Speaker 11: next Friday, the fourteenth. We are expected to refrain from
- 38:45Speaker 11: shopping on Amazon for one whole week. Okay, one week?
- 38:50Speaker 8: All right?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah you pat hey, y'all listen to me. Listen to me.
- 38:54Speaker 7: What the what the statement that these boycotts is trying
- 38:58Speaker 7: to make, it's when you all listen to this president
- 39:01Speaker 7: and Elon Musk and tell.
- 39:03Speaker 2: You to get rid of your DEI programs.
- 39:06Speaker 7: You know that's the aim, because what they're trying to
- 39:09Speaker 7: do they try to make white people think it's just
- 39:11Speaker 7: about black people. Diversity, equity and inclusion is about women,
- 39:17Speaker 7: it's about veterans, it's about disabled people, it's about gays,
- 39:22Speaker 7: it's about all types of promotions. It's about Asians, it's
- 39:26Speaker 7: about Native Americans, and it's about black people too. But
- 39:30Speaker 7: all of these are affecting people who are not rich.
- 39:36Speaker 7: So what these boycotts are saying is, okay, you will
- 39:38Speaker 7: get your attention if we hit you in the pocket.
- 39:41Speaker 7: Now what Jamal Brian is being made the face of
- 39:44Speaker 7: and I know he did something Newsworth because cn N
- 39:48Speaker 7: ain't gonna come talk to you if you ain't dead nothing.
- 39:51Speaker 7: They organize this boy scout with Target and it's hurting them.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:56Speaker 7: So if this is what we're gonna do, if we're
- 39:58Speaker 7: gonna stay off Amazon for just a week, for a week,
- 40:01Speaker 7: don't not know Amazon for a week?
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah? All right?
- 40:05Speaker 11: And Steve USA Today also noted that there is a
- 40:08Speaker 11: forty day fast against Target, which was called for a
- 40:12Speaker 11: by like you said, Pastor Jamal Bryant of the New
- 40:16Speaker 11: Birth Baptist Church in Atlanta. Pastor Brian Is called on
- 40:19Speaker 11: the faith community to do a forty day fast from
- 40:22Speaker 11: shopping at Target during Lent.
- 40:24Speaker 1: There is a website.
- 40:26Speaker 11: It's called Targetfast dot org target or for more informational Yes, because.
- 40:32Speaker 7: It's don't be easy for me to do, but for
- 40:36Speaker 7: everybody else? Is it hard to stay out of Target
- 40:39Speaker 7: for forty days?
- 40:40Speaker 8: You know what?
- 40:41Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be. Initially I thought
- 40:44Speaker 1: it was going to be, but no, no, it wasn't
- 40:46Speaker 1: for me. Yeah, I did it. I'm in.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I haven't been.
- 40:50Speaker 9: I love the economic blackout. Yes, yes, it's a new
- 40:55Speaker 9: whale mark. Yeah, like yeah, all right, guys, uh, thank you?
- 41:00Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 41:01Speaker 11: Roscoe Wallace will be in the building right after this.

- 45:36Speaker 2: It ain't me.
- 45:37Speaker 3: It's been lasting longing than I thought it was.
- 45:39Speaker 2: This show had a football sea know, with none of them.
- 45:42Speaker 3: So what does that mean?
- 45:44Speaker 2: Well, you know, AIN'TI more camera tizle?
- 45:46Speaker 3: Well, she don't need the camera times. She's already famous.
- 45:49Speaker 7: He did.
- 45:49Speaker 1: Oh, thank you Roscoe, Thank you Carling. Coming up next time,

- 46:52Speaker 2: I'm in Louisville, Kentucky.
- 46:54Speaker 10: So this goes out to Kentucky since the nephew is

- 47:01Speaker 2: prank is the preacher's wife. Preacher's wife.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Preacher's wife.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Yeah, preacher's wife. Man, what time he just he just
- 47:12Speaker 2: had no limit? Man, I don't know.
- 47:16Speaker 10: Talking.
- 47:16Speaker 3: He's talking about himself.
- 47:20Speaker 2: And do your little see how to see how Thomas

- 47:33Speaker 2: with the be dog.

- 47:40Speaker 1: But see, y'all is the nephews.
- 47:45Speaker 2: He's just too much for me, you know. To please
- 47:49Speaker 2: do your little old prank man. All right? You know
- 47:52Speaker 2: what man here, since you've got cancer, you can't. Hey,
- 47:54Speaker 2: this is the preacher's wife.
- 48:01Speaker 8: Let's go get hello.
- 48:04Speaker 10: Hello, I'm trying to reach a sister Angela. Sister Angela, please,
- 48:09Speaker 10: how you doing. My name is Brother Clayton. I'm calling
- 48:12Speaker 10: you from our greatest Baptist church. How you doing this morning?
- 48:15Speaker 12: Oh I'm fine, I'm fine. Good year from your brother.
- 48:18Speaker 10: Yeah, listen, I know that your husband, Reverend Johonathan, is
- 48:23Speaker 10: actually one of the candidates that we may be choosing
- 48:26Speaker 10: to be our pastor since our past pastor has stepped down.
- 48:30Speaker 12: Yes, yes, yes, I'm very proud of my husband. I
- 48:34Speaker 12: think you make a very good candidate.
- 48:36Speaker 10: As a matter of fact, here at the church, we've
- 48:38Speaker 10: been asking a lot of the deacons and assistant ministers
- 48:44Speaker 10: here have been asking different questions, different things that they
- 48:47Speaker 10: would be doing once they became pastor, you know, like
- 48:50Speaker 10: your first one hundred days. What would you try and
- 48:52Speaker 10: change here at the church or try and make better
- 48:54Speaker 10: so to speak?
- 48:55Speaker 12: Yeah, but what my husband's not here right now? Do
- 48:58Speaker 12: you need to speak to us?
- 48:59Speaker 2: No, not right now. What we decided to do?
- 49:02Speaker 10: Uh, since Angela is actually called the wives and ask
- 49:06Speaker 10: them a few questions.
- 49:08Speaker 12: Oh, okay, that's a little different.
- 49:10Speaker 2: Sure, And we don't we don't want to take up
- 49:12Speaker 2: too much of your time.
- 49:13Speaker 10: You know, a lot of times, if a pastor is
- 49:16Speaker 10: stressed at home, nine times out of ten, he's likely
- 49:20Speaker 10: to be stressed at the church. So I guess, my, my,
- 49:25Speaker 10: my biggest question to you is is your husband stressed
- 49:29Speaker 10: at home?
- 49:31Speaker 12: No, not that I know of. He eats regularly, he's
- 49:35Speaker 12: on a good diet. You know, he gets goes to
- 49:38Speaker 12: the doctor regularly. He gets his physical pretty good at home.
- 49:42Speaker 12: I don't have a reason to believe that he's stressed.
- 49:45Speaker 12: He certainly hasn't brought anything to my attention.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Okay, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I
- 49:49Speaker 2: don't know. I don't think you follow me.
- 49:52Speaker 10: Since angel what I'm saying, is he stressed behind closed doors?
- 49:57Speaker 2: Is he stressed in that fashion?
- 50:01Speaker 12: I'm not too sure. I follow you. You say behind
- 50:04Speaker 12: closed doors? What exactly did you mean by that?
- 50:06Speaker 10: Is he?
- 50:07Speaker 2: Is he stressed in y'all's relations? Is he stressed?
- 50:14Speaker 12: Are you asking me about my personal business?
- 50:16Speaker 8: Brother?
- 50:17Speaker 10: Well, what I'm saying is if he's stressed at home,
- 50:20Speaker 10: he'll be stressed at the church. And if he's stressed
- 50:22Speaker 10: at the church, then the members are stressed. Then the
- 50:25Speaker 10: congregation is stressed. So the stress starts with you. Excuse me,
- 50:31Speaker 10: If you are making sure that he's all right at home,
- 50:34Speaker 10: he's going to be all right at the church.
- 50:37Speaker 12: I'm sorry, brother. What was your name?
- 50:39Speaker 2: Brother Clayton?
- 50:39Speaker 12: Brother Clayton. I appreciate you conducting whatever interviews you guys
- 50:45Speaker 12: need to conduct with the candidates. Wise, I do think
- 50:48Speaker 12: that's pretty much personal territory, and I really don't want
- 50:51Speaker 12: to answer those kind of questions.
- 50:52Speaker 10: It's not personal since Angela, when is so many other
- 50:56Speaker 10: people involved?
- 50:56Speaker 2: See, That's why I'm asking you the question. Is your
- 50:59Speaker 2: man christ behind?
- 51:02Speaker 12: I could assure you, yes that my husband is not
- 51:05Speaker 12: stressed at home. If I get your drift, he is
- 51:08Speaker 12: not stressed behind closed doors, brother, and I would appreciate
- 51:12Speaker 12: you if you don't call with these kind of questions.
- 51:14Speaker 12: Are you asking other candidates why these kind of questions?
- 51:17Speaker 10: Well, I was the ones dedicated to call to give
- 51:21Speaker 10: you a call, and that's the question that I decide
- 51:23Speaker 10: to come up with because I want to know if
- 51:25Speaker 10: a man is going to be stressed, because if he's
- 51:27Speaker 10: gonna have tension at the church, then the congregation is
- 51:30Speaker 10: gonna have tension, the church is gonna have tension, and
- 51:33Speaker 10: the church cannot move forward in the direction on My.
- 51:36Speaker 12: Husband and I have been married twenty to five years
- 51:39Speaker 12: and they've been twenty five good years. If you get
- 51:42Speaker 12: my drift, Okay, he is not stressed at home, and
- 51:46Speaker 12: whatever goes on at home, my husband has sense enough
- 51:48Speaker 12: not to take it to the church. That is not
- 51:50Speaker 12: something he's going to do. So you don't worry about
- 51:52Speaker 12: anybody else being stressed at the congregation in the pulpit nowhere. Okay,
- 51:57Speaker 12: we asked it together at home, and I appreciate it.
- 51:59Speaker 12: If you don't ask you those kind of questions.
- 52:01Speaker 10: Sometimes ask me, well, sometimes a woman does not realize
- 52:06Speaker 10: that that a husband is stressed.
- 52:08Speaker 2: You understand that there's a possible way that you don't
- 52:10Speaker 2: know that he's stressed.
- 52:12Speaker 12: So how can you get Let me get your phone.
- 52:14Speaker 12: Matter of fact, let me get your full name. What's
- 52:16Speaker 12: your first name?
- 52:17Speaker 10: Let's just go with brother Clayton right now, could you
- 52:19Speaker 10: please answer this question? How can you guarantee that he
- 52:22Speaker 10: is fully not stressed?
- 52:25Speaker 12: Brother Clayton, I don't call it the lord, Brother Clayton.
- 52:30Speaker 12: I'm an honorable woman. I'm a woman who stands by
- 52:34Speaker 12: my man. Okay, but you are asking me some questions
- 52:37Speaker 12: that are very personal, very private, very confidential. You are
- 52:42Speaker 12: asking me questions that that a a question of the
- 52:45Speaker 12: sancety of my marriage. Okay, my husband is not stressed,
- 52:50Speaker 12: and if I don't send him away from my home stressed, Okay.
- 52:57Speaker 6: How do you know?
- 52:58Speaker 8: I know?
- 52:59Speaker 2: But what are you doing to make sure that it's
- 53:01Speaker 2: less stressing?
- 53:02Speaker 12: Clayton? I'm about to end this phone call. Okay.
- 53:05Speaker 10: Now, if you're not going this phone call to that
- 53:08Speaker 10: we know we I need to know that Reverend Johnathan
- 53:11Speaker 10: is not stressed at home. They put they assigned me

- 56:21Speaker 2: We got it for you here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:24Speaker 11: Well, thank you, nephew. Subject. Did he call me the
- 56:27Speaker 11: wrong name? Dear Stephen Shirley. My partner and I have
- 56:31Speaker 11: been off and on for a few years, and he's
- 56:33Speaker 11: a great man, but he loves women. He's trying to
- 56:37Speaker 11: be monogamous. According to our therapist. I am fifty one
- 56:41Speaker 11: and I have never heard such a thing as needing
- 56:44Speaker 11: therapy to be faithful. He has called me someone else's
- 56:47Speaker 11: name during sex twice and tried to play it off
- 56:50Speaker 11: both times. My name is not Keisha or Tawana, he said.
- 56:55Speaker 11: He called me Keisha because I at ghetto from time
- 56:58Speaker 11: to time, but it was during sex, so it didn't
- 57:01Speaker 11: make sense. He said, Tauana is a cute nickname for me.
- 57:08Speaker 11: He said, that's why he called me that. My name
- 57:10Speaker 11: is Shanda. Okay, Shanda, So I'm not sure.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I'm not sure about that one.
- 57:17Speaker 11: I told him to stop playing with me because one
- 57:19Speaker 11: day I'm either going to snap on him or disappear
- 57:22Speaker 11: for good. Things got better for a couple of weeks,
- 57:25Speaker 11: and he stopped saying names during sex. He sent me
- 57:28Speaker 11: a text that was not meant for me, but it
- 57:30Speaker 11: was nothing major, just about the halftime show. He said
- 57:34Speaker 11: it was meant for his brother. Counseling seemed to be working,
- 57:38Speaker 11: and he was doing the work that he was told
- 57:40Speaker 11: to do. He gave me access to his phone, and
- 57:43Speaker 11: he gave me space in his closet and a drawer
- 57:46Speaker 11: in his bathroom. But last Sunday he messed up by
- 57:49Speaker 11: coming back to his house drunk. I was in his
- 57:52Speaker 11: bed asleep, and he cozied up next to me and
- 57:54Speaker 11: asked me why I didn't put my bonnet on. I
- 57:57Speaker 11: have never slept with the bonnet. After he fell asleep,
- 58:01Speaker 11: I started looking for the bonnet I found it in
- 58:04Speaker 11: the guest bathroom, in a small box under the sink.
- 58:07Speaker 11: Was it Keisha's bonnet or Tijuana's. I want to be
- 58:12Speaker 11: done with him, but the counselor says, to hang in there.
- 58:15Speaker 11: Is it time to disappear on him? Why can't this
- 58:18Speaker 11: man be monogamous? Well, it doesn't matter why he can't
- 58:22Speaker 11: be monogamous. He can't and he doesn't want to be,
- 58:25Speaker 11: or he doesn't have to be, because you're going to
- 58:27Speaker 11: be with him anyway, even though you say it's not
- 58:30Speaker 11: what you want and why are you with him? This
- 58:34Speaker 11: is not someone you should necessarily be mixed up with.
- 58:36Speaker 11: He can't even remember your name. Your name is Shanda.
- 58:40Speaker 11: He's calling you Keisha or Tuana, and then making up
- 58:43Speaker 11: lies about why he called you. That you've been in
- 58:47Speaker 11: his life, you say, on and off for years. The
- 58:50Speaker 11: least I think he could do is remember your name.
- 58:54Speaker 11: But he doesn't care about you like that. I mean,
- 58:56Speaker 11: that's pretty obvious. You got to forget what the counselor
- 58:59Speaker 11: says about hanging in there. The counselor's not in your relationship.
- 59:03Speaker 11: I don't think this guy is worth any more of
- 59:06Speaker 11: your time, and you are not going to get anything
- 59:09Speaker 11: from him and return, So you may as well end
- 59:11Speaker 11: it now, Keisha, Twana, Shanda Steve.
- 59:17Speaker 7: I don't see how you went along with this this long, lady,
- 59:20Speaker 7: I really don't. I don't understand. Yeah, y'all keep accepting trash,
- 59:27Speaker 7: and then when you get trashed, then you got a problem.
- 59:30Speaker 2: Now you want to go to count This ain't a
- 59:32Speaker 2: counseling affair. I can look. If you got to go
- 59:36Speaker 2: to counseling before you get married, how big a problem
- 59:42Speaker 2: is that.
- 59:42Speaker 7: Yah, y'all gotta have counselor just to be together. I
- 59:46Speaker 7: don't understand that. I know a young couple that was
- 59:50Speaker 7: going to counseling just to be together. If you got
- 59:55Speaker 7: to go to counseling just to be together, y'all probably
- 59:59Speaker 7: don't need to be together. Y'all ain't even ran up
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: into nothing that required counseling. I thought you took counseling
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: to stay together. I ain't know you took it to
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: be together.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Damn you You fighting to get in, not to stay in.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: See, I could see if y'all had a family and
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: y'all trying to work it out, stay together for the
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: sake of the family, the kids, y'all got some property together.
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: You ain't got no property with this dude. You got
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: a space in the closet, in a drawer. You gotta
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: go to counseling for that. Your partner and I y'all
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: been owned and off for a few years. I keep
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: telling y'all, men don't do off. See when you own
- 1:00:43Speaker 7: and off in a relationship with a man, you the
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: one be off. We own somewhere, and obviously he'd have
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: been owned somewhere because while you off, he owned it. Yeah,
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: he's trying to be monogamous, son, and told you listen,
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: I'm trying.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: To be with just one woman, but right now I can't.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: That's what he's saying.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: I'm fifty one, and I've never heard such a thing
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: of needing therapy to be faithful. Well, I've never heard
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: of therapy to teacher try to get in a relationship
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: with somebody who ain't faithful. I don't even understand what
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: you need counseling for. I really really don't. He has
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: called me somebody else's name doing sex twice and tried
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: to play it off both time. My name is not
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Keisha Ortawe. He said he called me Keisha because I
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: had ghetto from time to time, but it was doing sex,
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: so that didn't make sense. Well, if you did some
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: ghettos to why you's havagee, that could have been why
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: I called you kisha. I don't know what that he is,
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: but that's the reason he gave it. I'm just, I'm just,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: I'm just, I'm I'm just reading a letter. I'm just
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: reading the letter.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: He he said, because you had ghetto some time to way,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: call you kisha. You better believe Keisha ghetto. You can
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: bet your bottom dollar on that. He said.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: Toronto is a cute nickname for me, so he said
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: that's why he called me that. My name is Seanda.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Dammit, hang on, Steve, hang on. That's a good place
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to take a little break.
- 1:02:16Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up to
- 1:02:19Speaker 11: today's Strawberry Letter at twenty three minutes after the subject
- 1:02:23Speaker 11: is did he call me the wrong name?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. Hey, this
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: is Mary J. Blooge did Li.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Dud lou Dulu douu.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: What's up you, honist is let us.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: See what's going on. This is your boy Kevin Heart.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: This is Erica Badu.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Hey, this is Dave Chappelle, Yo, what's up? This is iceque?
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: I can't call it.
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: This your man Sidric d entertainer and you're listening to
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: That my doubt you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:54Speaker 10: This message is brought to you by Pfizer if you're
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: fifty or older getting sick and keep you away from
- 1:02:58Speaker 10: where you need to be. You don't want surprizes like
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: numacacco pneumonia or invasive numacacco disease.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: You're six point four times more likely to.
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: Get numacacco pneumonia compared with adults eighteen to forty nine.
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: It's recommended that people fifty or old that get vaccinated
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: being sick and get between you and the people who
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: rely on you so scared of your stat at vasassist
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: dot com.
- 1:03:19Speaker 11: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:23Speaker 11: The subject is did he call me the wrong name?
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: This is a woman who's been with a partner that's
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: been owning off for a few years. I've said this
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: several times when they show me and don't do off.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: So while you being off, he owns somewhere. He's he's
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: a great man, but he loves women. He's trying to
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: be monogamous. According to our therapist, this is crazy. So
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: your man then told you he need therapy to be
- 1:03:59Speaker 7: monogamous because he loves so many women, and you going
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: to therapy with him so you can get him to
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: stop loving all these women and love just you so y'all.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Can be together. You stupid.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: I'm fifty one, and I've never heard such a thing
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: as needing therapy to be faithful. I've never heard of
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: being heaven. They have therapy to be with somebody. If
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: y'all need therapy to get together, y'all gonna need therapy
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: to stay together, and then y'all gonna need therapy for
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: the break up.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Y'all, you need to get out there. I don't know
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: who this person is anyway.
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: He's called me somebody else's name doing sex twice. My
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: name is not Kishi. He said he called me that
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: because I had ghetto sometimes. And then he called me
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: to Wanda, he said, and that's just a cute nickname
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: for me, so that's why he.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Called me that.
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: Well, my name is Seanta, damn it. So I'm not
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: sure about that one. I told him to stop playing
- 1:04:59Speaker 7: with me because one day I'll either snap I'm gonna disappear. This,
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: she said, Things got better for a couple of weeks,
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: and he stopped saying names during sex. He sent me
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: a text that was not meant for me, but it
- 1:05:13Speaker 7: was nothing madeor it was about the halftime show. He
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: said it was meant for his brother. This, she said,
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: counseling seemed to be working. He was doing the work
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: that he was told to do. He gave me access
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: to his phone, and he gave me space in his
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: closet and a drawer in his bathroom. Girl, if that's
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: called progress. Wow, He gave me some space in the closet.
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: He pushed his clothes over a little bit so you
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: can hang more than your blouse and there and now
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: you got two three things, and then you got a
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: draw in the bathroom. But last Sunday he came home drunk.
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: You was in the bed sleep. He closed it up
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: next to you and ask you why you're put your
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: bonnet on. I ain't never slept with a bonnet on.
- 1:06:05Speaker 7: After he fell asleep, I started looking for the bonnet. Boy, women,
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: I love women. After he fell asleep, I started looking
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: for the bonny that's right.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Damn she good. I don't even I wouldn't even thought
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: of that.
- 1:06:20Speaker 7: I found it in the guests bathroom in a small
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: box under the seat. Was it Keisha's bunny or to
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: Wanter's bunny? I want to be done with him, but
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: the counselor says to hang in there. Is it time
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: to disappear on him? Or can I trust this man
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: to be monocoilous?
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Lady?
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: Who is this counselor? That's what I need to know
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: right now. See, y'all see a lot of times y'all
- 1:06:47Speaker 7: got to understand what a counselor. A counselor tries to
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: tries to develop a routine clientele that's willing to come
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: in there to pay this one hundred to two hundred
- 1:06:58Speaker 7: and fifty dollars an hour, and if he can get
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: you as a regular schedule appointment, he has a legitimate
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: business going. I know people who are standing counselor appointments
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: every week at the same time standing. I know a
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: person who's been going to the same counselor for twenty
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: five years.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: This is not a counselor. You're just going there and
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: talking to one of your damn friends.
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: At this point, because if you take twenty five years
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: to get cured, what you're going in there for?
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Who is the counselor? How much does this counselor make?
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: And if you stay with you see, if he gets
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: you to stay with your boyfriend, then y'all keep.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Coming to counselor.
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: I don't know who is telling you to hang in
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: there with a man that's making no commitment or promise
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: to you. You're hanging in there for what? So he
- 1:07:58Speaker 7: can work through being monogho and why he's getting there?
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: How many more women is he gonna sleep with? And
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: you sit through it waiting on him to be faithful.
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Suppose the counseling don't work. Suppose he gets around doing
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: the work. He gave you a drawer in the bathroom,
- 1:08:21Speaker 7: and he gave you space in the closet, But somebody
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: got that bottom drawer in that other bedroom with a bonnet. Yeah,
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: you need to look up under that TV in that
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: in that wall unit to see who else got some
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: stuff in there. I think you need to get out
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: there in that garage because dongond I can promise you something.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: In that garage.
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: You needn't find out exactly what's in that toolbox because
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: it might not be no or Stanley product. Well, you
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: might have some other kind of tools in here, lady.
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: I can't recommend that you stay with this dude. Sureley
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: can't recommend that you stay with this dude. And I
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: damn sure don't know why the councilor keep telling you
- 1:09:01Speaker 7: to hang in there, hanging there for what?
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: What is the end game? I don't see it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Steve. I don't see it either.

- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Now my doubt you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: favorite songs while you're driving, distracts you from that truck
- 1:09:58Speaker 7: drifting toward your lane, a that lane splitting viker creeping up. Besides, fortunately,
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: every Hunday offers advanced safety features that can alert you
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: to potential dangers around you.
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: That's right, because Hendi is always working to ensure the
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have won over one
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: and six to twenty twenty four.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: As of December twenty.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Twenty four, it is time now for junior and sports talk.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: What you got junior, Well, let's talk about Saint Quon
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Barkley Man. Come on, sat Quan boy?
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: Did this?
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: Boy?
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: Dude is money money Monday. This is what happened when
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: you win a Super Bowl. He is the He signed
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: a two year, forty one million dollar extension. He NFL
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: history as the first running back to make over twenty
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: million a year at his position. Come on, Saint Quan
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: and he's got fifteen million more in its sentence?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Boy, that he got thirty million guaranteed.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Thirty board is it?
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: Thirty six million guaranteed?
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: Come on, say won't leave out that six.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: This is how you win.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: This is how you win. Sean Watson got two hundred
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: million guaranteed. Let me say something as that is what.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: No, please tell when.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: You got two hundred million, you can gonna turn over
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: and get sued.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Then really.
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: Congratulations sake for a barkay man, and then uncle be
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: go ahead tell you this too.
- 1:11:32Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: You know you asked about Cleveland. What would you like
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: to see Cleveland doing the draft with the second pick?
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: What would you like to see?
- 1:11:38Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: I like cam Ward as a pick, the quarterback out
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: of Miami.
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: Okay, I love Shador. I think she is gonna be
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: a quality quarterback. I just don't want him to come
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: to Cleveland, man, because I love his father and I
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: know how Cleveland is. So you don't want to get
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: like a yeah, I got one more person not getting
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: to this damn super Bowl. I don't want to hate you, son.
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: Oh wow, that's the reason I don't want court. Succour
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: is a great player. I think it would be the
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: best fit for the Browns, but I don't want to
- 1:12:10Speaker 7: have to turn on the boy.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: I just don't want to do it, though, So you're
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: taking any other position, just not a quarter, but you
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: don't want him.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Look, man, it's like this. I love his father so much.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: We all do.
- 1:12:24Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all don't live in Cleveland. No, this
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: ain't about y'all, but it's about you. It's about Cleveland.
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: And I'm telling you what's gonna happen if we're in
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: Super Bowl. Were already made. Yeah, and we're already made.
- 1:12:42Speaker 7: And I don't want him coming up and now on
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: the heels of the DeShawn Watson fiasco.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I'd rather this boy cam Ward come
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: up here.
- 1:12:52Speaker 12: Now.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: I don't know his daddy.
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: You know the Cavaliers number.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: One, number one in the NBA. We know one in East.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Y'all have one in NBA.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: Yes, why do you yelling to it?
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: Because I got to now, y'all plan Charlotte today. Y'all
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: will be fifty three and ten at night. That's good
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: in Cleveland.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Y'all got all right?
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Jr?
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: Thank you?
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:13:26Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, and man,
- 1:13:28Speaker 11: it's torn Steve. He needs some advice. He's torn between
- 1:13:31Speaker 11: helping his baby sister or listening to his wife. We'll
- 1:13:34Speaker 11: get into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:13:37Speaker 11: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: All right, Steve, this is from Paul in Kansas City.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Paul says, my sister is getting.
- 1:13:47Speaker 11: Married and she asked me for a lot of money
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: to help her buy address and pay for her pricey reception.
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: My wife is not with that at all. I also
- 1:13:56Speaker 11: think that my sister should wait until she and her
- 1:13:58Speaker 11: fiance have the money for the type of wedding they
- 1:14:01Speaker 11: want to have. My wife and I had a small
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: but beautiful wedding, so she's against giving her the money.
- 1:14:08Speaker 11: But she's my baby sister.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I have the money.
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: So do I go against my wife and let my
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: sister have a nice wedding sher baby sister.
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: That's a tough one, that waiting until you can get
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: the wedding you want to and pay for it yourself.
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: See technically in the wedding game old school rules, is
- 1:14:29Speaker 7: the bride's father pay his.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: For the wedding.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: If y'all's dad.
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: Ain't in your life and you the big brother that
- 1:14:38Speaker 7: puts you in the role that moves you up, I
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: think that your wife gonna have to be a little
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: bit more understanding about this. Is your baby sister. But
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: according to Carlin's face. Her wife ain't got to be
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: understanding of nothing.
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: No, and it doesn't sound like maybe baby sister, can
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: you know, cut back a little bit on the budget.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: And remember for a compromise.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: I wish I knew how much?
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the problem.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: What's average wedding?
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: For the whole old wedding? I mean, I guess an
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: average wedding?
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Look over here, don't talk to me. It did cost
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: what fifteen?
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: I actually wanted to go down to my wife's Gladdy
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: grave and wake him up to where is your half?
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Get yours? This day was coming You just sleeping, foe?
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Get up? You knew this.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: You know the day were coming up? Your rest and
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: you see the price when you show her expend that
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: taste was expensive. You ain't tell me none of this?
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: What funny?
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Certainly you have seen this.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: So my wife was asking for this wedding, Lord, have mercy.
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: I saw the pictures, so I understand what this man
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: going through her marriage?
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: What tell me?
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: What'd you say?
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: That's why that's why Junior ain't got no offense. He's
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: still paying for the.
- 1:16:12Speaker 11: Man. Yeah it's expensive, Steve, But if he goes against
- 1:16:16Speaker 11: his wife, that's going to cause problems in the marriage.
- 1:16:19Speaker 7: It is, but I think the wife is gonna have
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: to be a little bit more understanding about the little sister. Now.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: I know y'all had a small wind and intimate and
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: all that, and that's cool, but you know, this is
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: little sister. That's her dream. Maybe the dad ain't around,
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: you know. And then he said, I got the money
- 1:16:35Speaker 7: depends on how much your dress is.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I'm tossed up on this one. It'd be hard to
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: turn down my little sister.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: You don't have a little it's got to be that time.
- 1:16:46Speaker 7: We might don't like it if my old last sister
- 1:16:48Speaker 7: came in here talking about some damn expensive ass well
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: and dress.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Hey, you better go down there and get married in
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: that missionary gown. That's what you would.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Say to you.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: She's a missionary at the church.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Get married in that mission What do you want to
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: shears that every Sunday.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: That's damn it.
- 1:17:09Speaker 11: All right, So you're torn. You're torn between this one. Okay,
- 1:17:12Speaker 11: I think we have time for another one. From Ayisha
- 1:17:15Speaker 11: and Hoboken. May Issha says, I'm thirty years old, I'm married,
- 1:17:19Speaker 11: I'm a professional clown, and I have my own business.
- 1:17:22Speaker 11: I dress up as a clown, Elmo or Paw Patrol.
- 1:17:25Speaker 11: My husband is embarrassed by my occupation. And I'm making
- 1:17:28Speaker 11: a lot of money every weekend. Uh, what's so bad
- 1:17:31Speaker 11: about entertaining kids? Well, I don't know, Patrol, yeah.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Or Elmo? If you make a lot of money, clown,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: you know, would you be embarrassed?

- 1:25:30Speaker 10: every person that every female that comes on.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: You see first of all, I see.
- 1:25:34Speaker 10: All their luggage, all their baggage that they bring, and
- 1:25:36Speaker 10: a lot of them are are bruids from their last relationship.
- 1:25:41Speaker 10: A lot of them are, and they keep bringing that
- 1:25:43Speaker 10: to the next relationship. And that's how they're not getting
- 1:25:45Speaker 10: into the next one. Because you're still mad at the
- 1:25:47Speaker 10: last dude. You're bringing that to the next table and
- 1:25:49Speaker 10: you're taking it out on the dude that you got
- 1:25:52Speaker 10: interested in because now you acting like he the guy
- 1:25:54Speaker 10: you just left.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Okay, So what's the men's from problem?
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, that wasn't a question. That
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: wasn't the question.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: But you're not gonna sit up here and just act
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: like we're just asked questions.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: I said, what is the number one thing? See? Because
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: what it happens a lot of times is see it's
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: always got to be.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: A ying and a yang.
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: But then, you can't change men, but you can change yourself.
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: And if I ask somebody who has a show and
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: finds out the number one problem that women have on
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: that show is the luggage, to bring it up back
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: and they say that did, well, what's wrong with the men?
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: It's a lot wrong with the men, But you can't
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: fix it. Well, you can't fix it. No, I'm just saying,
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: as a woman, you can fix yourself. Why y'all can't that.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Nobody said we could.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: Men have to be ready to fix themselves. That's what
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: he's saying.
- 1:26:49Speaker 9: I guess that I get that, But what are they fixing?
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: You told me we were just All I was doing
- 1:26:54Speaker 9: was having a moment of being a proponent for women's action.
- 1:26:58Speaker 9: Thing that a woman can do moving forward. Maybe they
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: could learn something from the show.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: That's all I was doing.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: And we got that show and learn from you.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: You can't have the men.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: What women just fix everything and the men don't do anything.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: I don't get that.
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: Yeah, why why did you hear that when that's not
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: what I said. That is clearly listen to me.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: Listen to me, friend, Tommy. One thing, one thing when
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: it comes to the women on that shoe, why do
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: you think what do you think is the number one
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: thing that causes women not to be able to find y'all?
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: That's what he said.
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: Then y'all said, what about the men? When you're talking
- 1:27:49Speaker 7: about the damn men? As I want to do something else. Okay,
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: go ahead, okay, okay, listen to miss Okay. You know
- 1:27:56Speaker 7: what's the matter with men? Men get away with too much.
- 1:28:00Speaker 7: Men know how to play on y'all's need to help
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: and fix and nurture, and we use that to our advantage.
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: And you all have got to get smart to that. See,
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: it's the game. We focus and the men write the
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: rules to the game. And then when I tell you
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: what the game is, yeah, it is double stand. We
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: just asked, what are you mad about?
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: Y'all?

- 1:29:16Speaker 10: Communication and back, But men have baggage and they know
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: how to keep this. Men know how to keep this
