- 1:41Speaker 1: turn the time to love. It got to turn out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn water wanter go, comey, come on your
- 2:03Speaker 1: good minded everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey. I got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show, you know. I eventually wanted to syndicate
- 2:15Speaker 1: after I was given the opportunity, But the whole thing
- 2:18Speaker 1: about the radio show in the beginning was not my idea.
- 2:24Speaker 1: My idea simply was, I asked God to make me
- 2:27Speaker 1: one of the premier stand ups in the country. That's
- 2:30Speaker 1: all I wanted from me. I asked him that in
- 2:34Speaker 1: That's that's all I asked him for. He's done so
- 2:37Speaker 1: much more for me since then. He's blessed me with
- 2:40Speaker 1: so many more opportunities. He's opened up so many more doors,
- 2:45Speaker 1: He's poured out so many more blessings. It's hard for
- 2:49Speaker 1: me sometimes, really man, to even take it all in
- 2:53Speaker 1: because I feel like, wow, man, billy me, thank you.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I mean, I'll take him, don't get me wrong, but
- 3:00Speaker 1: it can be overwhelming at time. I often used to
- 3:04Speaker 1: hear my mother say, who was a Sunday school teacher?
- 3:06Speaker 1: And I remember these words all the time. Now, God
- 3:09Speaker 1: will open up the windows of heaven and poort of
- 3:10Speaker 1: blessing that you won't have room enough to receive. Oh,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I kept waiting on that day, Mama, where is that day?
- 3:19Speaker 1: Because I got plenty of room because I'm dirt pole
- 3:22Speaker 1: right now. I got room for a thousand dollars. I
- 3:25Speaker 1: had room for you know, a car. I had all that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Now I understand. One of the things, though, that He's
- 3:36Speaker 1: done for me that I've asked him for in my
- 3:39Speaker 1: lifetime is that he has made me matter. Okay, Steve,
- 3:44Speaker 1: what do you mean by that? So I used to
- 3:46Speaker 1: ask God a long time ago one of my prayers
- 3:51Speaker 1: was to help me matter that I want to matter
- 3:55Speaker 1: to the people that I come in contact me. Look,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I just don't want to be a man that they meet,
- 4:02Speaker 1: a young guy that they meet and when they meet me,
- 4:05Speaker 1: it don't. It doesn't cause a ripple in the in
- 4:08Speaker 1: the pond. I want. I want to make ripples in
- 4:11Speaker 1: the pond. I want. I want to be that rock
- 4:14Speaker 1: that when you throw you try to count the ripples
- 4:16Speaker 1: as it go out. I want to be a fourteen
- 4:19Speaker 1: ripple rock. I don't know if you know what that means.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But when I was a little boy, we should stand
- 4:23Speaker 1: on the bank at ponds and stuff and throw rocks
- 4:28Speaker 1: out into the water. We should either skip them or
- 4:31Speaker 1: we'd throw them, and when they would land in the water,
- 4:33Speaker 1: they would create these rings that go out. If you
- 4:37Speaker 1: threw it high enough and it dropped straight down in
- 4:39Speaker 1: that water, the little rings would start forming out like
- 4:43Speaker 1: it would create a little waves. And these waves just
- 4:47Speaker 1: look like circles in the water. And I remember one
- 4:49Speaker 1: time I made fourteen of them, and that's always stuck
- 4:52Speaker 1: with me as a little boy. That was because nobody
- 4:55Speaker 1: in my circle could make fourteen rings, and they all
- 4:59Speaker 1: counted them so they on. So I enjoyed that because
- 5:01Speaker 1: I had made a bigger splash, a bigger ring pattern
- 5:05Speaker 1: than anybody else. So I've always asked God to make
- 5:09Speaker 1: me matter in my own way, make me a big
- 5:12Speaker 1: ring pattern, See, because that's important to me. Now, it
- 5:16Speaker 1: was important to me, but I didn't understand why I
- 5:19Speaker 1: needed that to be the important part of me. Because
- 5:23Speaker 1: here is the other part. You know, the thing that
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know to who much has given, much is required.
- 5:29Speaker 1: You've heard the thing do unto others that you would
- 5:32Speaker 1: have them do unto you. You know those those things
- 5:35Speaker 1: like that that you learned along the way. Well, if
- 5:39Speaker 1: you matter to people, then guess what all of those
- 5:43Speaker 1: become a real possibility in your life. See, you can't
- 5:46Speaker 1: ask for the yang without the yang. You can't ask
- 5:49Speaker 1: for it without without the responsibility that comes with it. See,
- 5:53Speaker 1: God can't bless you with a lot, and then you
- 5:56Speaker 1: think that it ain't gonna be a lot required. I
- 5:59Speaker 1: have people pulling at me all day, but I have
- 6:01Speaker 1: to remember that prayer I made. Now, I wanted God
- 6:04Speaker 1: to help me to matter. Now this is important, y'all
- 6:08Speaker 1: because see, if your prayer is to matter, that means
- 6:13Speaker 1: that you want to You want to matter in the
- 6:17Speaker 1: circle that you in, no matter how big the circle
- 6:19Speaker 1: you in, no matter how small the circle you're here,
- 6:22Speaker 1: you want to make a difference. You want to have
- 6:23Speaker 1: an impact on somebody's life. In a positive way. If
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's one of your prayers, guess what God a readily
- 6:32Speaker 1: give you that. Because when you do something for the
- 6:36Speaker 1: least of these, it's just like you've done it on
- 6:38Speaker 1: His behalf or you've done it as him. You know
- 6:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't know if I'm explaining that right.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But when you do something for the less fortunate, you're
- 6:46Speaker 1: doing God's work. God gonna bless you for doing that.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So now here's a deal. So if your prayers to
- 6:51Speaker 1: matter is to become an impactful person, then guess what
- 6:55Speaker 1: God gonna help you do that, Because guess what, You're
- 6:57Speaker 1: gonna do some work on His behalf because you're gonna
- 7:00Speaker 1: at crossed somebody that's less fortunate. You're gonna run across
- 7:03Speaker 1: somebody could that could use your impact. You gotta run
- 7:06Speaker 1: across somebody man that ain't quite knowing what your way
- 7:10Speaker 1: to going because you haven't been down that dirty dog
- 7:13Speaker 1: row before you could say, hey, my man, let me
- 7:16Speaker 1: let me pull your coat to something. You can do
- 7:18Speaker 1: this now, But let me tell you what's gonna happen.
- 7:20Speaker 1: If I were you, I would consider this that's making
- 7:22Speaker 1: an impact. That's like the guy that passed out in
- 7:25Speaker 1: the l A named Lou Danzler out there that had
- 7:28Speaker 1: this boys and girls sent out there in the hood.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And man, I can't tell you the people's lives he impacted.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I remember when Eric Davis, a bad baseball player, came
- 7:38Speaker 1: back and spoke at the group one time, looking at
- 7:40Speaker 1: them kids and hug and Lou danzl and thanking him
- 7:44Speaker 1: man for changing his life. This guy became one of
- 7:47Speaker 1: the superstars in the Major League Baseball and then just
- 7:50Speaker 1: thousands of people that lives did he affected? And when
- 7:53Speaker 1: he passed, what he did was he left an imprint.
- 7:57Speaker 1: He left an imprint that huge, And that's all I wanted. Man.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I just said, Man, if I could make an imprint,
- 8:05Speaker 1: you know what I mean, It's like you're walking through life,
- 8:08Speaker 1: right and you're making footprints and saying, I want my
- 8:12Speaker 1: footprints to be so deep that after I'm gone, people
- 8:16Speaker 1: can still tell I had come through there. People have
- 8:19Speaker 1: can still see that I that I Oh, man, he
- 8:23Speaker 1: a man, a man. Harve walked over there. Hold up, man,
- 8:25Speaker 1: look right here, man, Steve Harvey came through here because
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want my footprints to be so deep in the
- 8:32Speaker 1: sand that I matter to so many that even after
- 8:35Speaker 1: I'm gone, I can still show you the way that
- 8:38Speaker 1: even after I'm gone, I still have an effect on
- 8:42Speaker 1: my children, on my sons, so that my sons can
- 8:46Speaker 1: look up one day and gonna remember all the conversations
- 8:48Speaker 1: we had. Man, my daddy used to tell me this,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and maybe I can turn wanted to turn my sons
- 8:55Speaker 1: into men. You're understand. Turn my daughters into ladies. You understand,
- 9:00Speaker 1: so they ain't got to follow the crowd and get
- 9:02Speaker 1: out here. You know, man, you you, you, You gotta
- 9:05Speaker 1: wanna matter. Man, you gotta wanna make a difference. And
- 9:08Speaker 1: so at the end of my life, when it's all
- 9:10Speaker 1: over and the winds is blowing the sand back in
- 9:13Speaker 1: my footprints, I wanted to take a while. I wanted
- 9:16Speaker 1: I want. I want several sandstorms to have to come
- 9:20Speaker 1: through that before my footprints get filled up. That's how
- 9:24Speaker 1: much I wanna matter. Mattering is important. It's gotta be
- 9:28Speaker 1: important to you. What's your legacy, what you're gonna leave behind,
- 9:33Speaker 1: what they're gonna say about you. There's a cold thing,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you know. When you die and you get a tombstone,
- 9:39Speaker 1: this tombstone has your date of birth. Your tombstone has
- 9:43Speaker 1: a dash, and your tombstone has the date of your death.
- 9:47Speaker 1: You would think that the most important thing on that plaque,
- 9:51Speaker 1: on that tombstone is your birthday, or is the day
- 9:54Speaker 1: you left here, But it's not the most important thing
- 9:57Speaker 1: on that tombstone is that dash. What did you do
- 10:02Speaker 1: while you will here? It ain't your birthday they're gonna celebrate.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It ain't the day you die they're gonna celebrate. They're
- 10:08Speaker 1: gonna celebrate that dash. What you did while you was here.
- 10:12Speaker 1: It's the smallest thing on that tombstone, but it's the
- 10:14Speaker 1: most important thing on that. Man, you gotta wake up
- 10:17Speaker 1: to matter to somebody, you gotta make an imprint in
- 10:20Speaker 1: the saying. You gotta affect some people's lives, and you
- 10:24Speaker 1: got to do it all in a positive way. So
- 10:26Speaker 1: we gotta wake up every day thinking about them footprints.
- 10:29Speaker 1: We're laying down that legacy, we're creating that That that
- 10:32Speaker 1: what they're gonna talk about when we're gone moment, what
- 10:35Speaker 1: you're doing about your dash. My dash is January seventeen,
- 10:38Speaker 1: nineteen fifty seven. That's my date, my dash. I'm working
- 10:42Speaker 1: on that right now now. When I leave here. What
- 10:44Speaker 1: I want him to talk about Steve Harvey. Ain't January seventeen,
- 10:47Speaker 1: nineteen fifty seven, ain't the date I'll leave here. I
- 10:50Speaker 1: want him talk about that dash man when he was
- 10:53Speaker 1: on here. This is what he did. Man, that was
- 10:55Speaker 1: my man. All right, let's go. You're listening steven twenty
- 11:04Speaker 1: one minutes after the hour. This is the Steve Harvey
- 11:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. Man o, man o, Man, Do I feel good?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Let me tell you what I'm grateful for. I'm grateful
- 11:12Speaker 1: for the White House for making news. I'm grateful for
- 11:16Speaker 1: Monique for making news. My friend hanging their Monique. It's
- 11:21Speaker 1: gonna get rough, But don't nobody know about rough water
- 11:23Speaker 1: like me hanging out and the Bible says this too
- 11:27Speaker 1: shall pass. This's a hard window to show. Yeah, and
- 11:33Speaker 1: so that's all I wanted to say was thank you,
- 11:36Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, and anybody else. I don't know
- 11:39Speaker 1: what happened to the Soldier Boy and Chris Brown fight,
- 11:41Speaker 1: but I wish they bring that back. And if Mayweather
- 11:45Speaker 1: and going to start beefing again, that would help me
- 11:48Speaker 1: out too. I'm just looking for anything at this point.
- 11:51Speaker 1: The offset, the memo that I sit out to eight people,
- 11:56Speaker 1: that's all it was. Now everybody reading the damn memo
- 11:59Speaker 1: like I'm talking to the fine morning Morning shown let
- 12:08Speaker 1: it go. No no no no no no no no
- 12:12Speaker 1: no no no no no. I'm like Monique, see part
- 12:16Speaker 1: of my limit. It would kill me and that I
- 12:21Speaker 1: agree with. Oh, I'm not gonna bother keep this bottle
- 12:25Speaker 1: up in near mess around have also in high blood
- 12:29Speaker 1: and starts suffering from depression. I gets it off me. Otherwise, yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 1: j what you do last night? Man? Oh man, I was.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I watched that Monique thing over and over and I
- 12:45Speaker 1: couldn't believe it. He was the most amazing thing. I
- 12:47Speaker 1: thought Monique should have brought her career out and say,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I like, y'all, say goodbout is somebody for this joke?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Come on, kreakrean, say goodbye and now he is a joke.
- 13:00Speaker 1: That's what I thought she should. If there were year,
- 13:04Speaker 1: could you come out real quick and didn't have Kril
- 13:10Speaker 1: walked through the out and outside, you know, walking and
- 13:13Speaker 1: walk through the audience high five. Greg loves you all
- 13:18Speaker 1: that love loves you. I know. I I guess it
- 13:24Speaker 1: was just poor judgment on her party. I think that
- 13:26Speaker 1: got caught up in the moment of having fun and
- 13:29Speaker 1: the audience was egging her own. But that flu I'm
- 13:35Speaker 1: not alone. That's like she said. She's always a very pleasant,
- 13:40Speaker 1: nice lady. But something happens, you know, well you like
- 13:44Speaker 1: doing god jokes, you know something something changed? Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Eventually have to recognize who he is and what he
- 13:54Speaker 1: is and what do you think about every time? And
- 13:56Speaker 1: what he can what do you do do a lot?
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's like real. It's like some stuff that you take
- 14:02Speaker 1: for granted that he do. Like you, you're breathing, you're
- 14:05Speaker 1: not eating that on your own. He yeah, he could.
- 14:09Speaker 1: He could cut that, you know, yeah, just sit up
- 14:16Speaker 1: all that running your mouth. He could fix that right there.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Stop on. You know, that's why I look at that. Man,
- 14:23Speaker 1: My left side is shutting down. Yeah, hanging that Monique.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Uh huh, same time. Thank you. We'll be back. We
- 14:35Speaker 1: got that. It's something funny coming up, man, Junior. Truth
- 14:39Speaker 1: be told and Pepper gonna stop by. You're listening, Steve Harvey, Hey,
- 14:47Speaker 1: y'all we back. Yeah, how you feeling, man? I'm feeling good.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Look boyd, everybody listen. This is truth be told, and
- 14:54Speaker 1: you right, Monique has said some things and she probably
- 14:58Speaker 1: should not have seen it about some people that we
- 15:01Speaker 1: really love and care about. I just think she could
- 15:04Speaker 1: have found some other people talk about that was not
- 15:06Speaker 1: as influential. There's a lot of people wouldn't care nothing
- 15:11Speaker 1: about what she said, Like for instance, me, Tommy and Jay,
- 15:14Speaker 1: why not say that we ain't got a damn thing
- 15:18Speaker 1: going on? We can care one way on? I mean,
- 15:23Speaker 1: come of, you can't come operh huh d Tyler Perry, Okay,
- 15:28Speaker 1: here's somebody else you could say something. Just just they
- 15:30Speaker 1: down here the news too phaedre everybody jumping on faith.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Why what you're saying? You need some people who ain't
- 15:42Speaker 1: that influenial, who ain't got time to care. You don't
- 15:45Speaker 1: think dns got enough going on. Ain't got a whole
- 15:49Speaker 1: lot of stuff going on right now. I don't want
- 15:53Speaker 1: to be no role model. They got a lot of
- 15:55Speaker 1: happening right now. And then if all else fails, why
- 15:59Speaker 1: not old j ain't had a good time. Let me
- 16:03Speaker 1: tell me you ain't thought about coming about Old Jake
- 16:06Speaker 1: because a few people don't. She could have got at
- 16:09Speaker 1: that would not have cared like this was a good
- 16:12Speaker 1: time to bring up Mike Tyson is this is not
- 16:14Speaker 1: a good time he got enough happening already. You think
- 16:20Speaker 1: little White would have been upsets weezing. Now he got
- 16:26Speaker 1: time to be focused on. You need some black people
- 16:29Speaker 1: that ain't really got tired. Charles Barkley. Everybody knows Charles
- 16:33Speaker 1: don't care. Searle prob would have cut you bright back out.
- 16:36Speaker 1: It's just just something you can You can just look up.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You ain't got to be worried about like like like,
- 16:41Speaker 1: for instance, Naomi Cam when she'd been back in the news,
- 16:44Speaker 1: she was hitting the hell out of people, sell phones.
- 16:46Speaker 1: This is good time to bring that back up, laying
- 16:49Speaker 1: folks out of myself phone. Just a few suggestions more
- 16:52Speaker 1: niqual people. I think you should talk about that. Really
- 16:55Speaker 1: ain't got time to care, got time too many people. Yeah,
- 17:04Speaker 1: at least can't do nothing. You can't do nothing. M hmm.
- 17:08Speaker 1: She's food. But I want to just sitting out love
- 17:11Speaker 1: to Monique and it just says Monique, girl, I don't
- 17:15Speaker 1: know what here going on, but hanging there, perfect time
- 17:18Speaker 1: And though you don't want to do it, do it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Skip this viral? Yeah, get it out. People, got time
- 17:33Speaker 1: to care, fix you fix my line three names. That's
- 17:38Speaker 1: gonna make the news a lot Yeah, I definitely will
- 17:41Speaker 1: make the news. She said about fix my life. She
- 17:43Speaker 1: can't go and fix my life. That's oh no, don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: call over here with that. Don't don't bring that over here?
- 17:51Speaker 1: Is that you don't bring that spirit over here? Hug
- 17:58Speaker 1: your husband something you could just see it with never
- 18:05Speaker 1: TV though, Oh my god. Yeah, just a snape miss episode.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Oh you got you got google it? She'll be all right,
- 18:27Speaker 1: can be all right? That's that? What's that? What's se
- 18:32Speaker 1: what's up? What's up Junior? What's up Pippot? What's going on?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Good show? Looking good? Man? I shall avote your voice, man,
- 18:41Speaker 1: Then you gotta pimps voice. I don't know how you

- 18:49Speaker 1: coming around. I'm gonna learn, man, and your voice me
- 18:53Speaker 1: be one of the greatest pimps on time. What's up, Timmy?
- 18:57Speaker 1: What's up? Pimpot? Want something? You playing? How you're doing?
- 19:02Speaker 1: What's up? Shoot? Hello, pimping? It's been a minute? How
- 19:06Speaker 1: you doing? Yes, it ain't got to be a minute.
- 19:09Speaker 1: No modo good and it's in the right now. You know.

- 20:22Speaker 1: got to repeat that given I'm like many giving Sunday.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. You've been watching the playoffs.

- 34:38Speaker 1: he's a billionaire. Even if you got it. That that's
- 34:43Speaker 1: things a little bit. And I wanted to I wanted
- 34:49Speaker 1: to sing more than just a billionaire because if in
- 34:53Speaker 1: London they give you that much money, see London is
- 34:58Speaker 1: over fifty percent tax m. London's taxes is hiding higher
- 35:03Speaker 1: than our h queen over that crack. And then you
- 35:11Speaker 1: only one we don't know, ladies and gentlemen, here she
- 35:16Speaker 1: is the lovely, that talented ms. An trip. Thank you,
- 35:20Speaker 1: good morning, everybody, good running out there. This is a
- 35:22Speaker 1: trip for the news. Okay, let's start right away. The
- 35:25Speaker 1: White House is denying it. But according to the Washington Post,
- 35:28Speaker 1: President Trump may have disclosed classified information to Russian officials
- 35:32Speaker 1: during their visit to the White House last week. Now,
- 35:34Speaker 1: the Washington Post quotes current as well as former U
- 35:37Speaker 1: S officials as saying Trump told the Russian Foreign Minister
- 35:40Speaker 1: and the Russian ambassador the details of an ISIS plot
- 35:43Speaker 1: to use laptops to bring down planes, and the information
- 35:47Speaker 1: was gotten from a secret partner. Uh. The Post says
- 35:50Speaker 1: that the President at one point started bragging to the
- 35:52Speaker 1: Russians about all the intel he gets. Now, again, the
- 35:55Speaker 1: White House is denying it. Uh. The National Security Visor
- 35:58Speaker 1: Hrbassad says, No, that didn't happened. That didn't happen. The
- 36:01Speaker 1: writer of the article Post says that he is standing
- 36:04Speaker 1: by his story. We do need, as a point of
- 36:07Speaker 1: information to know that President Trump does the President does
- 36:09Speaker 1: have the right to release classified information if he wishes to.
- 36:13Speaker 1: The problem is if we have a secret partner abroad.
- 36:16Speaker 1: A lot of legislators are worried that other countries and
- 36:19Speaker 1: nations won't reveal information to us if they feel that
- 36:22Speaker 1: the President will just slip it out in conversation during
- 36:25Speaker 1: a Bragg point, President Trump addressed the National and the
- 36:28Speaker 1: Annual National Peace Office and Memorial Service yesterday. It was
- 36:31Speaker 1: outside the US capital. Cannot express the depths of our gratitude,
- 36:37Speaker 1: but I hope that our actions will show you how
- 36:40Speaker 1: deeply we care and how strongly we feel about protecting
- 36:45Speaker 1: those The President is pledging tougher action against those who
- 36:49Speaker 1: perpetrate violence against members of law enforcement. This was horrible
- 36:52Speaker 1: to imagine. The authorities in Beaumont, Texas say an employee
- 36:55Speaker 1: of the Jefferson County Morgue was accidentally cremated by one
- 36:58Speaker 1: of his co workers. They say forty year old Henry
- 37:01Speaker 1: Paul Johnson took a nap on a stretcher after working
- 37:03Speaker 1: sixty hours straight, and while he was sleeping, another employee
- 37:06Speaker 1: he knew on the job mistook him for a corpse
- 37:09Speaker 1: and forgot to check for toe tag and put him
- 37:11Speaker 1: in the crematory. A co worker heard Johnson screen for
- 37:14Speaker 1: about fifteen seconds and that was it. They may have
- 37:17Speaker 1: criminal charges against this guy, the new guy anyway. Charletsville, Virginia.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Over the weekend, White races rallied around the statue of
- 37:23Speaker 1: Confederate General Robert E. Lee on Saturday that scheduled for
- 37:26Speaker 1: removal from Lee Park. Sunday, there was a counter rally
- 37:29Speaker 1: against the White Nationals collivigial against hay To. Court has
- 37:32Speaker 1: issued an injunction barring the removal of the statue at
- 37:34Speaker 1: least for six months. And finally, it's number fourteen. That's right,
- 37:40Speaker 1: Antonio Cromarti of the Indianapolis Coats about to become a
- 37:43Speaker 1: papa again. It's the cornerback six child with current wife Terka,
- 37:47Speaker 1: the fourteenth child in total. This will be Cromartie's third
- 37:50Speaker 1: child after having a v sectimate man. Yeah, maybe it's
- 37:54Speaker 1: the water. Oh, we were back with Eugene the Butterfly
- 37:57Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. Stay tuned, all right, Yes,

- 40:35Speaker 1: and white. I don't want the dog gonna read and white.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I want purples, blues, yellows, pinks. I don't want Why
- 40:43Speaker 1: would I get a red and white by the fly?
- 40:44Speaker 1: That's that's not a good red. That's not a good
- 40:46Speaker 1: color to look at a butterfly. I get flustered sometimes, Charlotte.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you to do something. Different
- 40:56Speaker 1: to be a cap about the fly. Well you should
- 40:59Speaker 1: get a make up out of fly, Okay, I mean
- 41:02Speaker 1: you riff riff, Oh my god, we could just fly
- 41:10Speaker 1: out butter flies together. Let's right, river dogs eat butterfly,
- 41:19Speaker 1: let them down. You know what I think I'm gonna
- 41:23Speaker 1: play it. I'm gonna put my gold boots on. What
- 41:28Speaker 1: you think we're gonna have I'll tell you what. I'll
- 41:31Speaker 1: tell you what. I'll be back though, hazing, coming right
- 41:34Speaker 1: back there. Yeah, I'm turning my car and everything. I
- 41:38Speaker 1: don't even want to be fun nonal hill tick on
- 41:41Speaker 1: my car side. Brother who got to do this? Yeah?
- 41:44Speaker 1: He getting turned back this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 41:50Speaker 1: let's get it on. Let's get let's get it on, baby,
- 41:57Speaker 1: let's get come on, Julie all it well, he it is,
- 42:01Speaker 1: ain't no way, ain't no way. These are some new
- 42:04Speaker 1: stories I haven't found. They may be true, they may not,
- 42:07Speaker 1: but you know it's gonna sound like it anyway. These
- 42:10Speaker 1: ain't this, ain't mis saying stories. These are just these
- 42:12Speaker 1: are just a bunch of crazy stories that check this
- 42:13Speaker 1: one out pasta eating by crocodiles while trying to walk
- 42:17Speaker 1: on water like Jesus, you can't do everything he takes
- 42:30Speaker 1: and try to walk on no water. I'll tell you
- 42:33Speaker 1: what though this is true. Though, I tell you true
- 42:39Speaker 1: he did. He tried to walk on water and it
- 42:40Speaker 1: did didn't go well. Uh SeaWorld. Dolphin is pregnant despite
- 42:46Speaker 1: being on birth control. Work doesn't work for them pregnant.
- 42:54Speaker 1: She came back in the room she pregnant. Well it
- 42:58Speaker 1: is true. Yeah, yeah, upset because you know they got
- 43:04Speaker 1: work the rights. You know you can't work when you're pregnant,
- 43:06Speaker 1: so she's not gonna be far what nervous? I can't
- 43:11Speaker 1: believe that. Yeah, I know. It messed me up to
- 43:14Speaker 1: trip you can't work when you pregnant. The dolphin came
- 43:18Speaker 1: women working, women, human beings. They're not kill about them
- 43:21Speaker 1: animal as women work right on up in chip childbirth
- 43:25Speaker 1: and go right back. Anybody said a damn thing about that, Yeah, dolphin,
- 43:29Speaker 1: we gotta say this, damn dolphin. You put it on
- 43:32Speaker 1: birth control out there and the water just splashing around
- 43:35Speaker 1: anyway with a little with a little fast tail, and
- 43:39Speaker 1: do have to jump in and all that stuff that
- 43:43Speaker 1: we don't go right back, ye little time. This will
- 43:49Speaker 1: tripped me out for the eight cars crashing to the
- 43:52Speaker 1: same house during the last twelve months. Well, any way,
- 43:56Speaker 1: in China, it's a house that had been hit forty
- 43:59Speaker 1: eight times. If this ain't a sign you need to move, like,
- 44:02Speaker 1: what were you doing on six? On number six? How
- 44:06Speaker 1: you know to get the forty eight right? Way? So
- 44:10Speaker 1: they tell your house up every day times? Ain't got
- 44:16Speaker 1: one right here? More employee cremated by the stake while
- 44:20Speaker 1: taking a nap. Jor say it again, junior, and you
- 44:29Speaker 1: would like to though, stay it again, Junior? We listened it? Okay,
- 44:34Speaker 1: it's a more employee cremated by mistake while taking the nap.
- 44:44Speaker 1: It could sat with but it wasn't. But if you
- 44:46Speaker 1: do working the more, wouldn't that table be the last
- 44:48Speaker 1: place you want sleeping? Ain't no way? Did it didn't happen?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Though it did it? That's falster that is ain't no way, baby,
- 45:01Speaker 1: aren't wow? Okay? Like the house in the middle, Yeah,
- 45:11Speaker 1: I sure you got all right. Here's a new study
- 45:14Speaker 1: guys that found that men, that's you, guys who date
- 45:20Speaker 1: or marry larger women, larger size, sticker women. Yeah, you
- 45:24Speaker 1: guys are happier than men who very very skinny women,
- 45:27Speaker 1: they say, and they say ten times happy. A lot
- 45:33Speaker 1: of stuff. Thin women won't do it, just won't do it.
- 45:36Speaker 1: According to researchers at the National Autonomous University of Mexico,
- 45:40Speaker 1: men who have chubby or girlfriends or wives tend to
- 45:43Speaker 1: smile more and handle their problems better. Furthermore, they develop
- 45:48Speaker 1: a better vocabulary and they communicate better. On the other hand,
- 45:53Speaker 1: men with skinny girlfriends. Men with skinny girlfriends tend to
- 45:57Speaker 1: be more reserved. They tend to be less friend and
- 46:00Speaker 1: less expressive emotionally, guys. Bigger women have better survival habits
- 46:06Speaker 1: and skills than their skinnier counterpart. Definitely, well they can survive,
- 46:11Speaker 1: Like if they're on naked and afraid, they're gonna last
- 46:13Speaker 1: a louse, just the reserves alone or keeping out at
- 46:19Speaker 1: least ten somebody's eating of itself. Many larger women ever
- 46:23Speaker 1: been on nicke. Yeah, that's a whole new show. I
- 46:27Speaker 1: like that. I like that. Call it naked and don't
- 46:38Speaker 1: know it. Oh my god, you're listening to the stew
- 46:47Speaker 1: y'all coming up at the top of the hour. About
- 46:50Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, right after the song, we
- 46:53Speaker 1: got today's Strawberry letter. But up next food. What you got?
- 46:58Speaker 1: You've been driving my car. You've been driving my car.
- 47:05Speaker 1: Here we go. Don't think I heard just before? You
- 47:08Speaker 1: know you haven't, sir? Right, Hello, I'm turning to his
- 47:15Speaker 1: Curtis place. Yeah, this is Curtis. You're the one worked
- 47:18Speaker 1: at the hotel and you do ballet parking. Yeah, you're

- 47:34Speaker 1: did it because you're the one I tipped. I tipped you,
- 47:37Speaker 1: you parked it, and then when I came back to you,

- 48:32Speaker 1: How many work at the hotel and do valet parking?
- 48:37Speaker 1: How many months working and do by that parking? But
- 48:40Speaker 1: that's how I do is park the cars. I don't
- 48:41Speaker 1: tell nobody car and driving around the town or stealing

- 48:57Speaker 1: That's not about nobody calls. I'm just I'm just part
- 49:00Speaker 1: time job man, just sucking call them, trying to take
- 49:03Speaker 1: care of me and my little girl. That's it. I'm

- 55:08Speaker 1: How would you be talking? Good evening? Everybody that's so high?
- 55:15Speaker 1: You do me where you're from. So the other day,
- 55:22Speaker 1: why are you talking to slow? You concentrate on A
- 55:27Speaker 1: funny thing happened to me on the way to this show.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Let me tell you about it. I didn't even tell
- 55:42Speaker 1: a joke. So these two cowboys walked into a bar. Huh,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and the bartender said, today, okay, I'm sleep I'm in
- 55:59Speaker 1: the I'm walking out. Jay. What'd you say? Right? No,
- 56:12Speaker 1: I couldn't do it. At least you know, if you
- 56:17Speaker 1: come outside, I'll tell you the punch list. Do it
- 56:30Speaker 1: gradulated for you. Man, it's a strawberry letter. Coming up.
- 56:36Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show, all right, The Strawberry
- 56:40Speaker 1: letter is coming up before we get to it, though. Uh,
- 56:44Speaker 1: this is a crazy story right here. This entire school year,
- 56:48Speaker 1: seventeen year old Brad Howard. We don't know him, but
- 56:51Speaker 1: this guy has been causing trouble in his physics class. Okay,
- 56:55Speaker 1: he's been talking out of turn, he's been interrupting the
- 56:58Speaker 1: teachers just in class, just acting up, all right. So
- 57:01Speaker 1: he was warned repeatedly, I mean repeatedly, alright, Brad about
- 57:05Speaker 1: his behavior, but he wasn't able to get his act
- 57:08Speaker 1: together no matter how much they warned him, no matter what. Okay.
- 57:12Speaker 1: So as his punishment, I love this, his dad showed
- 57:16Speaker 1: up at school and sat with him for an entire
- 57:19Speaker 1: class to keep him in line. It was, of course,
- 57:22Speaker 1: very embarrassing for Brad. Uh and the dad hopes it
- 57:26Speaker 1: was embarrassing enough to keep Brad on the straight and
- 57:29Speaker 1: narrow at least through the end of the school year,
- 57:31Speaker 1: so the dad doesn't have to go through, uh with
- 57:33Speaker 1: the school visit again. That was the worst thing growing up.
- 57:37Speaker 1: If your momma it would have been a warning. It
- 57:43Speaker 1: would have been a woman. We'd have had a house
- 57:45Speaker 1: warming party. What would you have been warming hot in
- 57:50Speaker 1: there for me? Yea man, my mama came up to
- 57:56Speaker 1: the school. Man, man, we were embarrassed. Yeah, yeah, I'm
- 58:12Speaker 1: need to discussed Broderick. Oh yeah, and what what were
- 58:20Speaker 1: you doing? See? What have you been? What have you
- 58:22Speaker 1: been doing in class? Playing in the back? Oh? I
- 58:28Speaker 1: just thought of Andy Brown catching the bus to the
- 58:31Speaker 1: school to deal with me. Just seeing her get off
- 58:35Speaker 1: the bus and to walk to the school because we
- 58:38Speaker 1: have a car, so gives two blesses to come to
- 58:41Speaker 1: the school. Just just thinking about that. If they had
- 58:46Speaker 1: to take off work. Yeah, there's always a good job
- 58:52Speaker 1: to take a kick off my good job and coming
- 58:54Speaker 1: out to some foolish I was always in trouble for talking.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I had had two shows that had a show in
- 59:01Speaker 1: the morning in home room. I gave a good show.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I was booked, and then right after lunch I gave
- 59:09Speaker 1: another show. So there was to show that two shows
- 59:13Speaker 1: a day. People had to be in a dank All right,
- 59:24Speaker 1: buckle up and hold on tight. We got it. For
- 59:26Speaker 1: your strawberry letter, this is a long one to subject.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Please please please read my letter. I am I'm writing
- 59:36Speaker 1: you a letter all right, here we go. I am
- 59:42Speaker 1: writing you a letter all the way from sunny South Africa. Wow.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Obviously the radio station will not be correct. Then, uh, Steve.
- 59:50Speaker 1: After twenty five years, I finally met the man of
- 59:53Speaker 1: my dreams and he's going to ask me to marry him.
- 59:56Speaker 1: He's been honest with me since we started dating and
- 59:59Speaker 1: told me that he has been and married before and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: has a three year old daughter with his ex wife.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: He is thirty two, by the way. As soon as
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: he told me this at first, I was shocked cried
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a bit. Then I turned around and told him that
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I would stand by his side no matter what and
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: we can deal with this together. He also got very
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: hurt through all of this, and that's when I decided
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: I'm not here to make his life any harder. I
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: want to make it better. Our problem is that whenever
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: I think about my wedding day, I keep thinking he's
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: been through this before, and I want it to be
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: as special to him as it will be to me.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: He tells me every day how much he loves me,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: he wants to provide for me, he wants to protect me,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and he has assured me, uh that there is absolutely
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: no comparison between me and his ex. His family never
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: liked her, they never approved of her, and they absolutely
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: loved me. And my paranoid I asked him that if
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: there is anything in his house left of hers, even
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: if it is just a candle that she bought, he
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: must please get rid of it. He went and did
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: it the same day. Our love is so strong for
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: each other, and I don't want to ruin it with
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: my paranoia. I just need to know that I am
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: number one in his life, even though he has told
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: me this a million times. Kind regards, madlne Ps loved
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: your book. Act like a lady, think like a man. Okay, Madaline,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Yes you're acting paranoid. You're tripping, and what are you
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: tripping for? I mean, you have the men of your dreams,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: so you say those are your words, not mine. This
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: all happened before you. It's in the past, and there
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: is nothing you or anyone else can do about the past.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: All right, you, um, really are creating some problems before
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: you're You're even married to this man, and that is
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the problem right there. So what he was married before
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: and has a child, He's thirty two, He's lived a
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: little experience, some things in life. It didn't work out
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: for him the first time. So he found you, fell deeply,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: madly in love. What love with you? He wants you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: as his wife. He's been honest with you from the start.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: You need to let this go. You are tripping. He's
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: don't bring these problems into your marriage or you will
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: have some issues on your hand. Yeah, yeah, you are tripping.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: That's all you're doing. You don't even have a problem here.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: The man ain't even asked you to marry him. Then,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: he'd being honest with you, tells you that he's been married,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he has a three year old. You break down, crying.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: The hair wrong with you. I'm telling you you, this
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: can't be your reaction every time he come in the
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: house with some news. Now, it ain't like y'all just
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: been dating that he'd go asked, you know, but the
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: while back he told you he was married the head
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: hild that's just honesty, comments sense, honestly just and threw
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you into something. Then you decided after that, after you
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: cried and everything, and was shocked, and you turned around
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: told him that you're gonna stand by his side no
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: matter whatn't we could deal with this together. He was
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: already dealing with it here. You're crazy, asked, and came
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: in here with it like like you are. It's gonna
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: be all right now, baby, baby, we could get through
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: it now. Jesus help us. This is the most dramatic
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: thing I've ever heard in a new couple's life. You
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: have a former wife and a child. Oh lord, Jesus, man,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: this dude have a cheat on you. I can't tell
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you what this's gonna call. You're gonna have a reaction
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: that ain't even gonna be. You're gonna be on cops.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Oh my god. And then you said you're not here
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: to make his life any harder. He got very hurt
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: through all this, Yeah, because you tripped, And what the hell?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I just told you the truth. Okay, then I want
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to make it. My problem is that whenever I think
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: about my wedding day, I keep thinking he's been through
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: this before, and I wanted to be as special to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: him as it is for me. Look special to us
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: as me and is different from special to you as women. Okay, Look,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: it's our wedding day. Is not our wedding day, it's
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: your wedding day. It's what you've always dreamed of how
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you imagine it to be. A guy never dreams of
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: his wedding day. A man dreams of of the woman
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: of his dreams. You all dream of the man of
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: your dreams, and you have a dream of a wedding day.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: We don't care what color the gowns is. We don't
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: care if you have doves at it. Who bringing the
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: ring down? You don't care if you got monkeys lighting
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the candles. We really don't give a damn. Can we
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: just get this over with? Man? I love you girl,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: but man, all listen. What's colored tux you want? I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: want you to wear black? You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, come on, see what the part
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: two of your response to today's Strawberry Letter. Let's have it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Come on over here. I want to just say thank
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you for buying the book and listening. But ma'am relaxed.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: You have everything you need here. You don't don't run
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: the man off by bringing up stuff to even important.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Now know he didn't he want to ask you to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: marry me, honest, what you told you used to be
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: married and have a daughter. But every time you think
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: about your wedding day, I keep thinking he's been through
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: this before, and I want this be as special to
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: him as it is to me. Well it's not, ladies,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: let me look. Let let me just hit you to something.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: The day is special to us. It means something. Does
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: that mean? But it could never equate to what it
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: means to you? If that's that's not our dream of
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: our wedding to day, that's one of your dreams you wanted.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You dream of the man of your dream and your
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: wedding day. All we dream about is the woman of
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: our dreams. What's she gonna look like? What's she gonna
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: give me? What can I get from her? How she
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: gonna do me? How she gonna do it to me?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: That's all. I'm sorry. I hate to break this to me.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: That's all we're thinking about. Now. You want to know
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: if you you are you paranoyed. I've asked him if
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: there's anything in his house left of her, even if
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: it's just a candle that she bought, he must please
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: get rid of it. He went and did it the
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: same day. Okay, Well, is it wasn't the candle or
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: what else you finds? Does he have a draw with
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: her drawls? And now if he has a draw with
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: her drawls and it then you have a problem, you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you know, I don't wonder what you want to throw away? Candles?
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Is it baby clothes in the house? You know? Is
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: it a swing set? You know? If your look and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: this is when you know your man got a problem
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: if you come to pick you up and he's driving
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: and winning bago and it got a swing set on top. Okay,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: now now you probably need to need to answer of caution.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: You know, if it's pictures of her and the baby
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: propped up all over the house, then that's the problem.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: The man to removed the candles, you know, maybe how
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: about you know, I don't know what else. Maybe some
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: he is and her pajamas. You know, I don't know
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: what you found. And you ain't never been in hers before.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I don't know what it is you can find in
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: your house. But relaxed though, get yourself together. What did
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you and be nice to the little baby. I just
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: want her to be nice to the baby. She's not. Yeah,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: well you don't think you think she's gonna mistreat the baby?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Don't do that. I'm gonna tell you right now. This
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: baby right here can't even go over that body. Step
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, don't do that. Now.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: That would be awful if she did that. She's not
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: gonna act because I think because she's twenty five, I
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: think she has a little bit of a not understanding
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: that people want. They get up, they're gonna have some history.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: So just just relax, enjoy your life, enjoy your wedding day,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: focus on your wed day. In your marriage. He is
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: over with he he's certainly ain't gonna bring it up
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: less you bring it up. Please, No, we will not
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: bring it up unless you bring it up. All right, Steve,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: we have to go. We do email us your Instagram.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today's letter at my girl? Surely Okay,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: switching gears now, Steve, You're always great. You're great at
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: giving advice. Um, how would you handle things when you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: run into an X when who broke your heart? Okay?
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Should you tell them off? Should you act like it
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: didn't matter? You know what's the smarter move and which
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: is more satisfying? What you say? Well, I have run
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: up into an X. She didn't break my heart, and
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: she tried to run up into me, but it was
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: a mailbox in a way. When she drove up on
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: the curve. She hit the mailbox and I heard the car. Yeah,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: that was an attempted murder. You know. The ones that
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: broke my heart was younger. You know, h never got
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: over in that Bibbs Patricia turn up at an owner
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Tatricia ride. That one hurt me. Man, that hurt me.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Prom girl couldn't go to problem with older boy friend
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: took him in his car. Yeah, dating this girl from
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Sowell to old groom man uh old groan. Yeah, so
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: you know it's just aut. I had to shake that
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: off just now. Ye back there her and that bed was.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I was able to get her back. She wanted to
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: have coffee one night after showing Cleveland after she told
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: hold this is one. She told me, you never heard this.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I asked her to go to the junior prom with
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: me in the ninth grade. She told me, I don't
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: want to go nowhere with you because I don't like
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: your facial features. I ain't got nothing. I think you
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: just all right with you. Don't like none of my
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: facial features. My eyes, I've always had problem with these
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: little but I got that, but my nose, my cheeks.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I don't like facial features yeah, she was keeping yeah,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: so so damn she crushed you. I don't like your
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: facial features. I was turning. I want what the hell
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I got to do? Well? I can't do nothing by
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: none of that. So years laiter I was performing in Cleveland,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Cleveland Convicius and a soul out m My daddy was
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: down big sold it out man. She came up to
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: me after the show. I knew who she was. She
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: still looked the same. Say this isn't there? How you
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: you don't remember? Me? Said? Yeah, what are you doing?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I'm good aboutself. I'm doing wonderful. I said. You're married now, No,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I got a divorce. I said, wow, are you still
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: looking nice? And I go to the gym. I try
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to eat right and take care of myself great. She said, oh,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: would you would you like to go out and get
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a drink? I said, I don't drink. Okay, how about
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a tea or something? Now? I don't. I don't drink
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: tea coffee. I said, no, no, I want the coffee.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: She said, wow, So you just can't go out for me.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: You don't. You don't drink anything, you don't grab bite teet.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I don't eat, she said. I just don't want you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: going out with me having to look at my damn
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: facial features off. Oh yeah, you didn't get eight yep
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: that I have it right back. You try my own land.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Have you wins? And why are you looking at me?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: This is according to a new Aging in America pole.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Seventy one cent of Americans say they aren't worried or
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: fearful about aging very much or even at all. Now.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Of those people use positive words like hopeful, relevant, and
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: vibrant to describe the aging process, while the same amount
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: describe it as scary, depressing, and lonely. Sixty two percent
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: of Americans say that eighty isn't too old to run
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: a marathon, serve in government, be a CEO of a company,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: teach a class, or practice yoga. Now, Steve, I gotta
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: ask you, are you fearful about aging? I know you
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: talk about it all the time. You want to um uh,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: you know you want to reach ninety four hundred and
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: four You say that, Yeah, what's the one thing that
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: concerns you though most about aging? H And all I
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: want to do is stay healthy, which I think I'm
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: gonna have is good at health. M hmm. I just
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: don't want nobody washing because the people don't pay attention
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: to the temperature to watch wad clothe you're watching me
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: is obviously I can't do it myself. So what I
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: can't be doing? Also, and you got this rag two
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: damn hot then you laid it in the middle of
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: my behind. I want to be doing that and unfished
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: and weak. I know, I know my kids are not
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: gonna take care of me. I'm looking forward to just
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: being in the room stinking, No, just nasty, just nasty.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Closed the door. Your dad is in that stinking I
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: am going to afford to hire someone, right. I don't
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: think the nurse is gonna show up. I just think
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: it's not gonna be well for me. I don't see
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: a happy old I don't see it is your daddy
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: on the phone. Hang it out out the damn phone
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: to real your father's called hang the jamn phone out,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: hang it out? Didn't I tell you to hang it out?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: What's a good thing? There has to be something good
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: about it? Now right now? This is good. Right now,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I got my own money to see. I've already planned
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: be no money left for them at all. I've worked
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: it out that by the time I die, it's all gone.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: It's gonna be all gone, the reigning of the w
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: know they will be shocked. Steve, what's good? There's got
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: to be something good about aging for you. You know,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I'm getting closer to retirement. Uh huh day when I
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: don't have to come to work looking forward to that.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Oh you can do that, Like do you look at
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: your bank account? Gotta wait to retime? What do you
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I can't leave right now here now, I won't leave
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: and keep living like I'm living the rest of my life.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Maintain that lifestyle. Are you like Jane? You're gonna spend
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: it all up and the kids are gonna take cage.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Did you see that happening? Oh? Let me see. Lorie
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: would take care of me, Brandy gonna be ad for
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: some day. Car How about Winston? Would he take care
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: take care of me? Steve, to take care of me? H?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I know, Laura, take care of me. Oh yeah, call it,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: come by and see me and let me see. Being
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: the person that's at the top of the wheel, I
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: will be there to take care of you for me,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: because I know, I mean you did you say top
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: of the wheel because you ain't you read it. Just
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: start to feeling grown told. Now you know it's not
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: because somebody will whip your ass about about these planks.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I got a better chance, Steve, if your kids taking
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: care of me. That my kids know my daddy good.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: But you always say you want to get olso you
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: could say whatever you want. You do that now. Now
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. No, no, Now send out memos.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: Ain't gonna be dude, You're gonna get it dead in
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: your face. Get help out my face. Wow. Okay. Then
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the people really pissed me off, taking that memoir and
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: running due on the radio. My son was telling me,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: got a real deep voice, and he did a whole letter.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I would invite everyone into my address room, come on
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: in and have a talk, you know, and praise the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Lord together. You just did a whole letter as how
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: he would do it as a Christian who wanted to
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: go easy for you to say, Mr, No, damn body,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: pretty clever, pretty clever. What is the letter? Though? You
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: have a copy of the original, Yeah, you need a
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: copy of it. I thought it was written brilliantly. A
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: few relatives I get a letter to to him. One
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: thing about the letter. You don't read the letter, go
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: what are you trying to say? What you meant by that?
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: If you're reading it, I'm talking, Yeah, yeah, you get
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: a clear understanding. I like the fact that you stand
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: by it. I mean, you know you wrote it and
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: you own it. I'm not gonna like say I'm sorry
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I wrote the letter because I'm not that the two
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: mistakes I made was number one. I wrote the letter.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I should have had an assistant or somebody send it out,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: but I was frustrated they were stopping me. If people
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: were stopping me to help me, that'd be one thing.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: But everybody stopped me got their own agenda. People don't
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: stop me to help me. They stopped. They stopped me
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: to get help stuff they want. Now multiply that by
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: five shows, and I got tired of it. So I
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: sent the memo out. But the problem is I don't
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: know words like at here too, oh, comfort, comforting. I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: don't know boundaries. Yeah, yeah, you needed some softer words.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: When I'm talking to I type like I talked, Yes,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: the problems we'll be back. You're listening to Let's go up, folks,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: We're gonna have a litt of fund right now because
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: I've just decided to take the fun approach to it
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: because to me, a lot of people have taken it
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: so the wrong away. So the team wants me to
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: analyze the memo that was sent out presumably last week.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Surely you have the memo. This is the memo that's
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: been on the news TMZ and everybody. This is the
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: memo people thought I was talking to them. I was
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: talking to eight staff members and this letter was sent out.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: This memo was sent out August twenty of last year,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: two thousand and sixteen, is when I sent the memo out.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Hey man, can somebody print the truth? It got sent
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: out a year ago at the beginning of the fifth
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: season of the talk show because for four years I
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: tried to be just you know, Mr Mr Friendly with everybody,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: but boy, they started taking advantage of it. So they
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: started ambushing me in the hallway coming from the stage,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: walking to the stage. Like Gary Owen said, you can't
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: be in Mayweather's locking room when he getting ready to
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: go out and fight, because even to go out here
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: to take care of business, you can't be in in
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: uh uh I winning fire dress room, asking for pictures
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: and autographs, and they're goin to go perform. Here we go.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: So it got written over year, almost a year ago,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: so I could tell people how the new policy was
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: gonna be. Because after a year of laughing about it
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: with everybody, you know, I just went, Okay, hey, look man, Okay,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna just come up with this new rule now.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: The letter was sent to Feeder by a disgruntled employee
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: who found out that he was not going to the
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: TV show in l A. Because my talk show is
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: movie now. He just said, on this, since August he
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: slash she set on this says August, you know who
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, ok, let's get to it. Yeah, because
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: we're gonna help you. You guys want to help you. Steven, Yes,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: maybe I just said it this way. Good morning everyone,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Welcome back. That's the best part of the level. I
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: would change let him no new season, welcome back. I
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: would change that. I would change that. Steve. Hey, how
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: ya hey, how y'all doing all right? Here we go friendly.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I'd like you all to review and adhere to the
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: following notes and rules for season five of my talk
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: show Number one. What you got some timing? Yeah, let's
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: go ahead, like you don't really you don't really use
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the word at here trying to be you had an
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: issue with that? Yeah, Number one, excuse me, are you
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: gonna take this criticism? Well? SI already a number one,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: there will be no meetings in my dressing room. I like, there,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you put lemon highl at you for a minute. See,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: whenever you put lemon highl at you, you can pay
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: much say anything in my dress rooms. What people would
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: do was I wouldn't come off stage and people will
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: be sitting in my dress room at my meeting table. Wow, okay,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: a numbers have a meeting table in your room for
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: meetings for me that I designate. But see I wouldn't designate.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: They were just come in my dress room while I
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: was out performing. And let's go for every line I
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: got a reason for writing it. Go ahead, okay. Number two,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: no stopping by or popping in, No one, keep it moving.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Keep that's a better way to do this. Please please
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: uh ask for a meeting. Just don't stop. But there's
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: a way of rewarding this letter. All that's in the letter. Well,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I just think, don't stop by, don't popping in? We
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: should all right? Number three, do not come to my
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: dressing room unless invited. Stand by that. But can't you
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: right you could say please respect my space, my work.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: Ere Yeah, when I'm finished taping the show. In the
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: letter alright, number four. If I need you, I'll call
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you number. Okay, here's one. Here's one. Do not open
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: my dressing room door. And this is an all cap
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: so that means you're yelling in print. If you open
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: my door, Comma expect to be removed. See that's a fight,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: that's starting to fight right there. So come on in here.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: If that's what you want, we gotta change that time.
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: How would you change room door? Please do not open
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: my dressing room door. I think it's very disrespectful if
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: you open my door, then, um, we will have to
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: handle this in an orderly fact. Why do you have
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: to tell adults that is rude to open the door
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: that they don't live in, Because how would you like
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: somebody just opened your door at your house or came
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: to your room while you was in your room and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: they was visiting the house and just open your door.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: You wouldn't like it either. Why don't have to be
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: so kind to people who they've obviously because you, yeah,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: can I just make a suggestion right here, you can
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: git gently, nu, if you gently gently? Yeah? All right?
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Number five, my security team will stop everyone from standing
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: at my door who has the intent to see or
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: speak to me. I want all the ambushing to stop now,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: that includes TV staff security. We're back to fighting again.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Do some of this is just hard? Canna be a
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: two parter? Uh? Number six? You will you must schedule
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: an appointment. I am how are you gonna do? You
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: can't talk to nobody because I have assistance. I have
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: people in place, y'all over, y'all over, Stephanese people, y'all
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: want to get right to me. Because I'm a nice guy.
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: I've been out there telling jokes and I'm congenuing with people.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Part two of this when we come it ain't gonna
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: go like that. That's why I would you're listening to
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Steve Well. We're doing a second half of this letter
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: about just grunt of staff member who found out that
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: they didn't have a job in l A. So now
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna put this out as something negative. I would
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: like to first of all say that the letter was
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: printed August sixteen, last year, August two thousand sixteen. I
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: would like to say that it's been on our staff
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: books for a whole year. We've even laughed about the
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: letter a couple of times amongst the staff. But this
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: just grunt of person gonna send it out like he
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: just sent it out yesterday. He don't want us talking
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: to him. Man, get out of you a second hand. Alright,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: second half, Let's see number six. You must schedule an appointment.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: I've been taking advantage of by my lenient policy in
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: the past. This ends now. All caps ain't gonna be
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: no more. It's not like Samuel Jackson with snakes on
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: the plane no more. You sound like that. You're aggressive, man,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: You don't want that's a fine piece of cinemon. Tommy
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: is absolutely right. I find piece of cinemon. Do not
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: approach me while I'm in the makeup chair unless I
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: ask to speak with you directly. Variety Magazine, who has
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: been friends of mine all these years. They headline and
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Variety magazine was Variety. Steve Harvey says, don't approach me.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: I said, but I said, don't approach me while I'm
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: in the makeup chair. What happened was my makeup chair
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: was in another room in my dress room, so when
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: people claim to knock, I can't hear because I'm in
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: the makeup chair. They would come into my dress room
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: and just appear in the makeup room door. Now I'm
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: stuck there with the person. I'm in the chair getting
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: made up for TV. Now imagine this this four five
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: times a week that I'm in that makeup chair. So
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: now here they are there, so hey, do not. The
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: reason I gotta be specific about the makeup chair is
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: in case you get past the security in the hallway,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: matter fact, feeling better and better about it as you
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: way to go, Steve with music like you have certain
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: songs that would say stop and not name love, don't
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: stand too close. I didn't want to produce a letter. Alright, alright,
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: here we go number eight. Either knock or use the doorbell? Yeah,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: and you can ask Monica the beginning of this season,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: I put a doorbell on too, in case I can't
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: here to knock. Damn Ye, I'm just I have a
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: better way ahead, Steve can have just please to say
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: what he want. Nobody to help. You want to help
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: the attitude cool step the letter with lee your attitude.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: I have a great suggestion, Steve, come on, come gonna
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: love this the phrase does it addressed me? Like number nine?
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: I am seeking more free time for me throughout the day. Really,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: I don't know how that's selfish? Tommy Again, Once again, Tommy,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: you got one damn job I have I'm doing so
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: now if you couple that on six shows, including the
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: radio show, I don't have time for me at all?
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Then why don't we do this? So, Steve? Why you
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: can't say my time is very limited when I have
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: free time. When I have free time, I'd like to
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: enjoy it in opposed to being h bombarded it. I
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: said that in this letter. But see what y'all don't
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: know is I've jokingly tried to play with people about
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: it all year long. Just try to buy Sometimes, ain't
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: nobody listening here? Come a point blank in your face
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: letter kind of jo and read the letter. But I
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: like the letter. You're listening to Steve Hardy Morning Show
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: and go over memo. You got the same attitude the
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: memo right now better and better and it does now.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: You just don't see how this letter sounds harsh. You
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: don't see that at all. I see that the majority
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: of people reading this letter thinking it's harsh I think
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: they don't sign the front of checks. What is that
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: to do with nothing? Yeah, dude, boy, yeah, tell me
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: you ain't got the many jobs. You don't do nothing.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: But I thought he was smarter than this. You, well,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: I ain't. You're just at the jobs one at a time.
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: Time he's at one job thinking about the other job,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: and it just up. Excuse me, yeah, just last week
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: I shot little big shots for you family feud and
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: the talk show and the radio show. Excuse me, that's
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: not a true statement. Know your facts. Go ahead, Shirley.
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: He's got alright, number ten and this is pretty big.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: I'm sure this is pretty big. Guys. Do not do
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: not wait in any hallway to speak to me. I
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: hate being ambushed. Please make an appointment. Oh there's a police.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: There's a police. I'm trying. Please make an appointment. I
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: promise you. Oh, I will not entertain you in the hallway.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: And this is huge. Do not attempt to walk with
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: me and talk, because walk with you, you know, even
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: want to walk next to you and talk and here
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: to part y'all leaving out everybody that stopped me. Nobody
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: stopped me to help me. It's hard. Can I cat
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: that for you. Miss Harved you needs something drink? Ms
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: Harvey needs water? Miss Harvey want anything? Now? Now, everybody
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: got an agenda? Take picture where my aunt came to
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: the show. Hey, can you look at my tape? Hey?
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: Can you take a look at this script? Did you
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: know Denzel where he look in my head shot? Can
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: you tell Kevin Hard how funny I am? I got
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: a tape right here? Can you listen to my song?
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: Can I get on your radio show? Can you read
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: my book? Can y'all get on my show for your book?
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Everybody what got their own agenda? And this is every day,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: This is every single day. I kind of what you're saying.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I kind of see you. Ain't nobody Finn ask you?
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: Can't they care something for you? You ain't caring nothing
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: but your round the corner to to your studios. You
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: ain't got nothing in your hands? What you talking to?
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: See the person that's talking as a man that don't
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: have nothing? Okay me finish the letter. If you're reading,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: I got constructive criticism. If you're reading this, yes, I
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: mean you. And then it says what what Tommy right there? What? No? No, no,
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: keep going, everyone, do not take the reason I said.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: If you're reading this, this means you. It's because people
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: will go, well, I haven't done any of that this year.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: Well okay, in case you won't too, this is you.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: The last line, everyone, do not take offense to the
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: new way of doing business. It is for the good
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: of my personal life and enjoyment. See there's again, Thank
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: you all. Steve hard How to hear that selfish? I
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: just say, don't take a fish to the letter. That's
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: the very same thing y'all did. I don't give it that,
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: miss me. We can't help you, man, miss me back
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: to close out of the show. You can meet me.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: All right, y'all, who are you here? All? That was
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: very good, very good? Man. Can we finally put this
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: letter to me? But you know, somebody asked me, do
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: you feel sorry that you wrote such a memo? I said, no,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I don't, I said, man, everybody looking at it from
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: their standpoint. I didn't write the letter to y'all. I
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: wrote the letter to some people who were being rude
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: and abusive to me of my time. I didn't write
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: the letter to y'all. I didn't tell I didn't tell
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: nobody out there that's on Twitter and Facebook. You can't
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: approach me or talk to me. I'm talking about when
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: I'm in my work atmosphere, how I want to be respected.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Because here's the deal. You cannot walk up to Oprah
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: like that. You cannot walk up to doctor Field like that.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: You cannot walk up to Ellen like that. You can't
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: walk up to doctor Oz like that. They have an
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: insulation built around them. That's the one thing I've never done.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: I've had boomerang and security, and I got security guy
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: in the hall. But man, when people come from and say, hey, hey, man,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: don't do that to him. Through and all of that
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: just became a bit much because now that they noticed
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: Steve gonna stop in security from talking to us, people
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: just started taking advantage of it. I'm cool with the letter.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: I felt really really good about it. Well, like I said,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: I like the fact that you're owning it. Can I
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: tell you something right here, Coca Cola in Atlanta, week
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: before last laid off twelve hundred people. Ain't nobody wrote
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: a damn note to Coca Cola twelve hundred people. Now
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: now they did it just as nice. And guess what
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: do people know? That's how their job go. Guess what
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: they took their little thing. Hope, hope they give them
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: a recommendation, went on about their business. President Trump fired
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: all of the legal staff from the Obama administration. Remember
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: that letter he set out, y'all fired today. Normally they
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: say they do it another way. He fired them, told
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: him don't come back. It's some people that didn't didn't
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: get invited to the new show. But it's a new
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: owner of the it's new people financially back in the show.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: They want to go to move into l A. And
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: the day after I found out that the show definitely
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: was moving to l A, the president of in the
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: mall came up and announced everybody on our showing in
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: Chicago that we're moving. I don't have the power to
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: move a show. Y'all keep giving me power. I don't
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: have because number one, I don't put up the thirty
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: eight million dollars per year that it takes to put
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: the show on. I don't put that though. Thirty eight
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: And we know Monique kenn approach Oprah. We know that
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: when you know yes, Tyler or Tyler, none of the above.
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: She didn't go see him a dim movie. I've been
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: on a ticket, but a ticket move. Yeah, these two
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: situations are completely different. No, they're not parallel at all.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: Don't want to the radio show and see how they
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: go for you say one out to us and see
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: how and go. It ain't gonna go like the TV show.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: I tell you that. Well you know what the people
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: people did think that. Um you let everyone go to
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: radio and tell me I was fine. Careton called until
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: Junior called me and said, uh, Junior, guys, you all
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: right with you know, with not having a job like that?
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: What damn you just got over there, Mortgan, just do today.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: Just but the crazy part about the show, I told
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: my dad said there, we're not fined if they head Yes,
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: it is okay you're talking to me who got to
- 1:39:41Speaker 1: go to work. But you know what I've had to
- 1:39:43Speaker 1: learn though, and this is true talk. I have to
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: now do the game like the big boys do it.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: I can't sit up here and play regular smoke smoke
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: Joe old, come on up, we'll how let your boy Steve.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to just do it like the big
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: boys do it. Now. I learned a very very valuable lesson.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: So I've learned behind every moment of adversity as a
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: lesson and a blessing. Oh, I learned my lesson on
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: this one right here. No, man, you could do you
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: better keep sending that one out because this one y'all
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: in Texas, I've been flying off and stuff like that. No, Mo,
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: it's okay. I'm gonna have my ruse in place. But
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: won't nobody know about it, but Steve. Honestly, though, I think, though, honestly,
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: you should have a security staff. I mean, you know,
- 1:40:32Speaker 1: a major one. You used to, but you're so big
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: right now. And that's what I'm going to in l
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: at major security staff, just like I had to put
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: security outside my house. I'm from. Now, when I go
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: to work, I'm gonna have a major security staff. I'm
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: gonna have an insulation team, Oprah told me. She told me,
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: but I ain't listening. Oh I ain't that big get girl.
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: Don't worry about Steve. Steve, You're gonna need to insulate
- 1:40:57Speaker 1: yourself better. You have too much exposure, I said. But oh,
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: I don't do it like you. I'm just you know,
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: I'll tell these jokes. I'm in the happy bassiness, she said. Steve,
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: it's not about that. She said. You can be as
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: well intending as you want, she said, but it's just
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: too devil got too many imps out here that worked
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: for him, and all they're looking for is a way
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: to bring you down and be negative because some people
- 1:41:22Speaker 1: think if they bring you down, it will somehow make
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: them be a little bit more up. It's not true,
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: but that's how they think. It's saying. Then you just
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: got haters, he said, everybody got them. She told me.
- 1:41:35Speaker 1: I ain't listen to it, she told me, So I
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: hate this one. My bad spoken to her since the memo. Yeah,
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: I can't tell you what she said. So you don't
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: use paper and pen them. You writing them a memo,
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: but you will start cussing people out in their ears.
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: Very Sollo and and and I found out who sent
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: the letter to the newspaper. Well, the most important thing
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: is that you've got the lesson out of this. That's
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: the most important thing. And anything that you go through
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: and where I am now, I just have to play
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: the game like the Big Boys player. I didn't want
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: to because I like being folks in Holland have fold
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: and joking and playing with people. But you're joking play
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: with people now, know it will backfire because somebody's gonna
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: be hateful. The world is full of haters. And now
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: every small minded person got a little, got a little
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: message is called a typewriter. Cool. I ain't gonna let
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: you type nothing else on me. God bless you have
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: a great thing. Keep on topic. For all Steve Harvey contests,
