- 0:10Speaker 2: at all.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Don't given a.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Black busy listening too, don't Joy?
- 0:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Joy, have you got to do that?
- 1:05Speaker 3: You love? You gotta turn.
- 1:27Speaker 5: We got to turn the mouth, the turn You probably
- 1:43Speaker 5: got to turn the mouth, the turn out, turn the water.
- 1:47Speaker 1: The water wouldn't make me.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out your thinking? Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 4: dig me now, one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 4: radio show. You know, I think I ought to explain
- 2:13Speaker 4: something to y'all. You know, when I wake up in
- 2:15Speaker 4: the morning and I say, dig me now, what I'm
- 2:19Speaker 4: asking you to do is it's old school, you know, man,
- 2:22Speaker 4: And you know you said old people say I dig
- 2:24Speaker 4: you know, da da da, Never stop saying that. I'm sorry,
- 2:29Speaker 4: but dig me now. It's just I want you to
- 2:31Speaker 4: I want you to really feel me. I want you
- 2:33Speaker 4: to understand what I'm saying, because really, this morning inspiration
- 2:38Speaker 4: is all given in the spirit of sharing and love.
- 2:41Speaker 4: It ain't about to expose me in any way. That's
- 2:44Speaker 4: not the purpose of it. But I found that in
- 2:47Speaker 4: my morning inspiration. That's best that I use some things
- 2:51Speaker 4: about myself, because I mean, what better example can I use?
- 2:54Speaker 4: Because I know me, I know what's happened to me.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I know exactly how I felt all along the way
- 3:00Speaker 4: concerning almost everything, every aspect of my life. I now
- 3:04Speaker 4: fully do really understand why God had my life spend
- 3:09Speaker 4: the way it spun. And here's the part that I
- 3:12Speaker 4: want to give to you this morning, that first of all,
- 3:15Speaker 4: whatever position you find yourself in today, we kind of
- 3:18Speaker 4: come to one realization that we got ourselves there. We
- 3:22Speaker 4: put ourselves there by a series of thoughts and actions.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Thoughts turn into things. That's very important to know. So
- 3:33Speaker 4: let's look at both sides of it. For people who
- 3:35Speaker 4: think negative thoughts, it turns into negative things, and the
- 3:42Speaker 4: direct opposite is true for those who think positive thoughts,
- 3:48Speaker 4: it turns into positive things. That's the deal. It's as
- 3:54Speaker 4: simple as that, folks. I cannot break it down any cleaner,
- 4:00Speaker 4: I cannot make it any clearer. Thoughts become things. So
- 4:06Speaker 4: the one glaring question for all of us always is
- 4:10Speaker 4: on a daily basis, what are you thinking? What are
- 4:13Speaker 4: your thoughts? What are you thinking? What are your thoughts?
- 4:19Speaker 4: Because I can assure you, and is not by a
- 4:23Speaker 4: promise of mind. This is not a theory that Steve
- 4:27Speaker 4: Harveyden came up with. This is a fact of life.
- 4:32Speaker 4: This is biblical, this is spiritual, This is written, this
- 4:36Speaker 4: is philosophical. This is the law of the universe. However,
- 4:40Speaker 4: you need to drink this medicine to take to get
- 4:43Speaker 4: it down and feel what I'm saying to you. This
- 4:47Speaker 4: is just the way it is now and here the
- 4:49Speaker 4: cold part, folks. It don't matter if you believe me
- 4:54Speaker 4: or not. It does not matter if you have never
- 4:58Speaker 4: been explained this or not. And it does not matter
- 5:02Speaker 4: if you think it works in your life or not.
- 5:05Speaker 4: It don't matter. Listen to me. It is the way
- 5:09Speaker 4: it is. It is a scriptural, it is a spiritual,
- 5:13Speaker 4: it is philosophical. It's just whatever is the law of
- 5:17Speaker 4: the universe. You call whatever you want call. However, you
- 5:20Speaker 4: got to dress this thing up to put it in
- 5:23Speaker 4: a phase that you can feel me. I want you
- 5:25Speaker 4: to feel me now, because this is all it is.
- 5:28Speaker 4: So when I say that you are where we are
- 5:31Speaker 4: today because we thought ourselves here, are you best to
- 5:35Speaker 4: believe that's true? You thought yourself here? No one else see.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Let me explain something. I got people around me who
- 5:44Speaker 4: so badly want to take credit for it, but I
- 5:47Speaker 4: don't allow it. But because I keep pointing to the heavens,
- 5:53Speaker 4: I keep pointing and trying to say it out loud
- 5:57Speaker 4: as many times as I can without being so offensive,
- 6:01Speaker 4: that my life is by design, by grace and mercy,
- 6:06Speaker 4: by blessings from God. My life is because God has
- 6:10Speaker 4: seen it to be so. Oh, but I got plenty
- 6:13Speaker 4: people around me want credit for it and want you
- 6:16Speaker 4: to not give credit to God and give it to them.
- 6:19Speaker 4: I got that. I got that, but I understand that. See,
- 6:23Speaker 4: I understand what that is. That's a person whose design
- 6:27Speaker 4: is to get the credit. But it's okay. It's so
- 6:31Speaker 4: clear to me what my father was saying to me. Man,
- 6:33Speaker 4: I get it. As I get older and older. He
- 6:36Speaker 4: always said to me, son, everybody come with you can't
- 6:40Speaker 4: go with you. See. You know, I don't know how
- 6:44Speaker 4: people say it in church. You know, sometime they go, well,
- 6:46Speaker 4: people come into your life for seasons, and I guess
- 6:49Speaker 4: that's the same thing. You know they seizing up. They
- 6:51Speaker 4: gone well, you know, and then but then hi, the
- 6:54Speaker 4: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 4: forget where you come from. You ain't gonna keep it
- 7:00Speaker 4: real no more. I don't want to go back where
- 7:04Speaker 4: I come from. I don't want to keep it that
- 7:06Speaker 4: real no more. It was real enough for me living
- 7:09Speaker 4: in a car. I had enough of that real. I
- 7:12Speaker 4: don't gonna keep it real now. I don't keep it real.
- 7:14Speaker 4: I wanna go keep it dreamy. I want to go
- 7:16Speaker 4: keep it fantasized.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I want, I wanna.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I want to keep it out of this world. I
- 7:21Speaker 4: want to keep it off the chain. I want to
- 7:23Speaker 4: keep it moving. I want to keep it ball, and
- 7:25Speaker 4: I want to see what that's like. So nah, I
- 7:28Speaker 4: ain't gonna forget where I come from, But you ain't
- 7:30Speaker 4: gonna hold me to that though. See, thoughts become things
- 7:36Speaker 4: all day long. Where's your vision board? Where are the
- 7:40Speaker 4: things that you want written down? What do you think
- 7:43Speaker 4: about the most? How grateful are you for what all
- 7:47Speaker 4: God has done for you? Where you at with that? See?
- 7:52Speaker 4: Here hear another law? If thoughts become things, Let me
- 7:57Speaker 4: ask you this. If all you thinking about is your debt,
- 8:02Speaker 4: if all you're thinking about is what you ain't got,
- 8:05Speaker 4: If all you thinking about or is all woe is me?
- 8:09Speaker 4: If all you thinking about is every time I turn around,
- 8:11Speaker 4: I'm sick. If all you thinking about it's the things
- 8:16Speaker 4: in life that you're lacking. If that's all you thinking about,
- 8:22Speaker 4: and if thoughts become things, how much debt you think
- 8:27Speaker 4: you gonna stay in? How much, how much how much
- 8:30Speaker 4: lacking you think you're finn to fill your life with?
- 8:34Speaker 4: How much most stuff you fin to not have because
- 8:38Speaker 4: you keep thinking about it all the time. When you're
- 8:42Speaker 4: gonna be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when
- 8:47Speaker 4: it's gonna come out your mouth, man, that I may
- 8:50Speaker 4: not be where I want to be, but I show
- 8:53Speaker 4: am grateful for what you've given me so far, for
- 8:56Speaker 4: the things I have today because I don't have to
- 8:59Speaker 4: have these. You know what that does? That then opens
- 9:02Speaker 4: up room for more stuff to come your way. To
- 9:05Speaker 4: be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful a man,
- 9:09Speaker 4: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:12Speaker 4: claim to be, But let me ask you something man.
- 9:14Speaker 4: If you ungrateful for the things we got, if we
- 9:17Speaker 4: can't show no gratitude for what we have, why would
- 9:22Speaker 4: God give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 9:25Speaker 4: What would he do that for tada. Anybody feel me
- 9:30Speaker 4: right now? So when I say come on, y'all dig me, now,
- 9:33Speaker 4: do you understand why I say dig me because I
- 9:36Speaker 4: want you to feel me. I want you to understand
- 9:38Speaker 4: and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't. Because
- 9:40Speaker 4: there's so many people got a deeper understanding than me
- 9:42Speaker 4: about this whole thing. I promise you they do, but
- 9:45Speaker 4: they listen to me. I'm just trying to get you
- 9:48Speaker 4: to walk up in this light, man, so you can
- 9:49Speaker 4: go on with your life and quit tripping yourself out
- 9:52Speaker 4: with your thoughts because thoughts become things, all right.
- 9:55Speaker 1: All day you're listening.

- 11:49Speaker 4: had turned to one station, come on, I would pick
- 11:53Speaker 4: the same one you just picked. I know you picked
- 11:59Speaker 4: it because I'm on it and you hear me, like
- 12:05Speaker 4: I said, other choices, But why make the wrong choice
- 12:10Speaker 4: every day? That's right, that's knowing that we are here

- 20:34Speaker 3: back over here. If you left your medicine, come on,
- 20:36Speaker 3: come back and get it. I'm at home right now.
- 20:39Speaker 3: If they're listening, then come on back over there. Know, yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 3: right right now, bring y'all. Why y'all roll for that?
- 20:46Speaker 3: Nephew tell me I don't know nobody better than me.
- 20:49Speaker 1: All right, thank you that you coming up next? It
- 20:51Speaker 1: is asked the clo.
- 20:52Speaker 6: You're listening hard morning show?
- 20:56Speaker 1: All right, guys, time now for us the c l
- 20:58Speaker 1: O Chief Love All of a SUDD I'm Stephen Harvey
- 21:01Speaker 1: in the building, Steve. This one is from Leela in
- 21:05Speaker 1: the dr. Leela writes, I'm a forty year old single
- 21:08Speaker 1: woman and I'm dating a forty two year old man
- 21:11Speaker 1: that I met online. We both made it clear that
- 21:14Speaker 1: we were looking for a relationship that would lead to marriage.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He is everything I've prayed for, and we spend every
- 21:21Speaker 1: night together and we travel together. We've even exchanged I
- 21:25Speaker 1: love you, so I was a happy camper last week
- 21:28Speaker 1: when we were on vacation. He told me that he's
- 21:31Speaker 1: not ready for a relationship. Then he said he's lucky
- 21:34Speaker 1: to have me and he loves me. I'm so confused
- 21:37Speaker 1: by the mixed signals. We've been dating for eight months.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Should I give him one more time? Or should I
- 21:42Speaker 1: give him more time?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Well, he just told you he's not ready for a relationship.
- 21:48Speaker 4: So first thing you need to know is what does
- 21:50Speaker 4: that mean? Now? In English, it means he don't want
- 21:54Speaker 4: to be committed to you, and he don't want you
- 21:58Speaker 4: tell it nobody. He belonged to you. That's what it
- 22:03Speaker 4: sounds like it means in regular English. Now, you and
- 22:07Speaker 4: the dr and I've been there before, and y'all do
- 22:09Speaker 4: speak very fluent English. Huh, so that's what it sounds
- 22:14Speaker 4: like to me. Now, this could be a little tricky,
- 22:24Speaker 4: but the mixed signals are just exactly that. I would
- 22:29Speaker 4: probe and see exactly what he means by that.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But I think, you know, yeah, probe meaning ask more questions.
- 22:36Speaker 1: That would mean she'd have to give him a little
- 22:37Speaker 1: more time.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Then huh, Well, you got to give an explanation. But
- 22:40Speaker 4: I think he said what he said, yeah, and I
- 22:44Speaker 4: think that's it.
- 22:45Speaker 1: All right, all right, all right, Leela, we're going We're
- 22:49Speaker 1: moving on now to Janet in Oxford, Mississippi, who says
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm in my mid thirties engaged to a guy from
- 22:54Speaker 1: a small town in Tennessee. When we got our marriage license,
- 22:58Speaker 1: all hell broke loose and I started getting harassed by
- 23:01Speaker 1: women from his past. Apparently he has eight children by
- 23:04Speaker 1: six different women, and four of the women warned me
- 23:08Speaker 1: that his child support debt will be mine if I
- 23:11Speaker 1: marry him. He and his best friend said it's not true,
- 23:14Speaker 1: and his crazy ex wife is behind all of this.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I don't know what to believe. He said he has
- 23:20Speaker 1: three children and I met them, Should I run away
- 23:22Speaker 1: while I can?
- 23:24Speaker 4: Well? Eight kids? Eight with child support? Whoo, that's gonna
- 23:35Speaker 4: be rough. Now he'dne went and got his boy to
- 23:37Speaker 4: co sign the three he does have three? Your deal
- 23:43Speaker 4: is to find out if he has eight. They have
- 23:46Speaker 4: a thing now called research. They have the Internet, Google,
- 23:55Speaker 4: They got everything. You can find out a lot of stuff.
- 23:58Speaker 4: If I were you, I would get busy just to
- 24:01Speaker 4: double check the story. Now, the reason you're writing us
- 24:05Speaker 4: is because you got the feeling somebody's telling the truth
- 24:09Speaker 4: about your man. Yeah, because your question, your thing was
- 24:13Speaker 4: should I run away? Now? Well, you already know something's up,
- 24:19Speaker 4: so you have an inkling, so you got to follow
- 24:21Speaker 4: up on the inkling. Do not ignore the inkling.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Okay, that's right.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Do not ignore that is you got it for reason.
- 24:30Speaker 4: It's called it. Eight keys a late. Well, you're go
- 24:35Speaker 4: get out under that child support. I can take you
- 24:37Speaker 4: that right now.
- 24:38Speaker 11: Yeah, all right.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Moving on to Perry in South Carolina, who says I
- 24:42Speaker 1: was messing around with a married woman for a few
- 24:44Speaker 1: weeks and her husband found out and jumped on me.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I had to get stitches in my head and he
- 24:50Speaker 1: scratched my cornea. So I went to an outpatient clinic.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I didn't have health insurance at the time, so she
- 24:56Speaker 1: paid my medical bill without her husband knowing it. Clinic Listen, though,
- 25:02Speaker 1: the clinic mailed the receipt to her house and her
- 25:05Speaker 1: husband saw.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 1: He texted me saying he'll deal with me again whenever
- 25:11Speaker 1: he sees me. I'm too old to keep fighting. Should
- 25:15Speaker 1: I call him and talk this out?
- 25:17Speaker 4: Well, it don't sound to me like you've been fighting.
- 25:22Speaker 9: You know, you you you know?
- 25:23Speaker 4: Should I call him and talk this out? You just
- 25:26Speaker 4: said you was messing with a married woman, this man's wife.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Let me ask some perry what you're gonna call him
- 25:32Speaker 4: a safe? Well?
- 25:35Speaker 1: What?
- 25:35Speaker 3: What?
- 25:36Speaker 9: What?
- 25:37Speaker 4: What's this conversation feeling to be? Hey, man, look we
- 25:39Speaker 4: need to stop this. I'm too old for this. Well,
- 25:43Speaker 4: you was messing with his wife. He said, he gonna
- 25:45Speaker 4: deal with you when he sees you a getting Now, look,
- 25:47Speaker 4: you got stitches and you have got the one corner
- 25:51Speaker 4: you ain't gonna be able to see after his next
- 25:52Speaker 4: asked me, he's gonna bust up all your visual capabilities.
- 25:59Speaker 4: This man hot about his wife. Oh yeah, Now she
- 26:03Speaker 4: felt bad for you and paid your medical You ain't
- 26:07Speaker 4: gotten medical. You ain't got no business messing with this
- 26:10Speaker 4: man's wife. He said, dog, what do you want?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Go away?
- 26:16Speaker 8: Crowd?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you need to move it.
- 26:21Speaker 4: He needs to go away.
- 26:22Speaker 1: You're absolutely right, Yeah you need to move man.
- 26:24Speaker 4: But you're gonna get this other whooping. No sooner. He
- 26:26Speaker 4: gonna deal with you. He just seen him spend some
- 26:28Speaker 4: money on you. He's gonna whoop you again. Pardner.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You got to get that out of and you got
- 26:33Speaker 1: it coming.
- 26:33Speaker 4: He told you, he didn't even tell you he was
- 26:36Speaker 4: gonna get you the first time.
- 26:39Speaker 6: That stitches in his head.
- 26:42Speaker 1: All right, he was.
- 26:44Speaker 11: He texted her from her phone, I'm gonna get you
- 26:48Speaker 11: what I see and to say she.
- 26:49Speaker 8: At the top.
- 26:52Speaker 4: All right.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Our last question comes from Jay. Uh, Hey, what you
- 26:57Speaker 1: got for the c l O?
- 26:59Speaker 12: You meta freak? You met a freak in the club.
- 27:02Speaker 12: You don't know the freak's name. Y'all go to the hotel,
- 27:05Speaker 12: You tie the freak up, You go out to get
- 27:07Speaker 12: some ice. You forget what room the freak is in.
- 27:10Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 27:12Speaker 4: What do you do? You don't always? You ain't forgot
- 27:16Speaker 4: where your car is. Hey, you don't know nobody name,
- 27:25Speaker 4: You can't remember the you can't remember the room. You
- 27:27Speaker 4: don't want to get ice? Now you can start knocking
- 27:31Speaker 4: on doors and do this here.
- 27:34Speaker 6: You now, freak.
- 27:40Speaker 4: If you tied up. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, man, excuse me.
- 27:45Speaker 4: I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I got the wrong home. My bad,
- 27:48Speaker 4: my bad. You stand there in your drawers with ice bucket.
- 27:52Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Morning show.
- 27:57Speaker 13: All right.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Here? We are the sensitive crew that we are, hot
- 28:05Speaker 1: head crew that we are. We're all sensitive.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Permit to something what Okay? I am the one on
- 28:17Speaker 4: the show that likes to keep the most mess. I
- 28:23Speaker 4: want to volunteer for that because for me it's exciting.
- 28:28Speaker 4: Like if I see any two of y'all about to
- 28:31Speaker 4: go at it, I show you do.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Oh you are the head. Let me ask you a question, Steve,
- 28:42Speaker 1: is that healthy? Do you think that's a healthy world? Absolutely?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Do?
- 28:46Speaker 4: I do? I do. That's the way for us to
- 28:50Speaker 4: operate as a company successfully is to get it all out.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I love when the the the argument or whatever the
- 28:58Speaker 1: disagreement has died down, and then he'll get walked away,
- 29:04Speaker 1: thought of something, come back and get it started all
- 29:06Speaker 1: over again.
- 29:07Speaker 4: He'll throw bomb. Oh, ain't no doubt, thank you, And
- 29:12Speaker 4: that's what I'm here for God to make sure that
- 29:15Speaker 4: we have healthy, healthy relationships. You know, nobody's harboring any
- 29:21Speaker 4: sentiments and ill wheeled towards one enough because we get
- 29:24Speaker 4: it all out.
- 29:25Speaker 1: You want to get it like, for example, come on, let's.
- 29:28Speaker 4: Get I'm thinking between Junior and and and Jay. I
- 29:33Speaker 4: think the two of them being the sickest people. I
- 29:38Speaker 4: think the fact that they go at one another so remitlessly,
- 29:41Speaker 4: I think that's actually healthy.
- 29:44Speaker 14: Well, it makes me feel better knowing he'll stop that.
- 29:53Speaker 4: What his name now, Junior? What if you had to
- 29:57Speaker 4: speak at his funeral? Who would you say? Though?
- 30:02Speaker 14: First of all, I'm going there and kicked the casket
- 30:04Speaker 14: and was saying, his body is the simple.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Make sure he goes.
- 30:08Speaker 1: You're not gonna be sad or cried.
- 30:10Speaker 3: You're in here.
- 30:10Speaker 14: Wait a minute, oh hey, he has not been a
- 30:14Speaker 14: supporters j.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Is absolutely true. He was gonna have a sicker.
- 30:22Speaker 12: Sell walk right, and remember they had to know they
- 30:26Speaker 12: had the flood. All I said is well, he said,
- 30:29Speaker 12: well it's rain and we can't have the walk. I said,
- 30:32Speaker 12: why can't you have to swim? And so he got
- 30:34Speaker 12: really upset about that.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, couldn't go to walk. But here's my thing.
- 30:45Speaker 12: If I do die, I have left instructions that my funeral.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Be cold as.
- 30:54Speaker 12: I mean the temperature. It's gonna be in an ice box.

- 31:08Speaker 12: This is all all day.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Love there love.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Jay will hit you with a mic stand testing to prove,
- 31:15Speaker 4: and I have heard that he will hit you. I
- 31:19Speaker 4: was with him in Memphis when he did.
- 31:22Speaker 12: Them things happened.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Man laughed a lot allegedly.
- 31:26Speaker 12: Ja, Yeah, there's no film on that.
- 31:32Speaker 1: We're all very very sensitive.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Now you want to know who throw the most punches
- 31:39Speaker 4: at Tommy?
- 31:40Speaker 1: Don't you're looking at him? No?
- 31:45Speaker 8: Really, he goes he throws them. Steve just takes the
- 31:51Speaker 8: alley oop and dump you throwing the high oop. And
- 31:55Speaker 8: I don't go ahead and get it that right? There

- 32:10Speaker 15: much better, but a lot. Because he's gotten better, that
- 32:13Speaker 15: means I have to go harder.
- 32:15Speaker 12: And I think, yes, he's finally reached the point where
- 32:20Speaker 12: he's really doing what he wants to know.

- 52:51Speaker 1: You enough for your subject, She's getting more than money
- 52:53Speaker 1: from him. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a fifty one year
- 52:57Speaker 1: old man and I have a wife, but I haven't
- 52:59Speaker 1: lived with her in four years. It's a long story,
- 53:02Speaker 1: but I'll try to make a brief. Four years ago,
- 53:05Speaker 1: my cousin had a bad divorce and he needed somewhere
- 53:08Speaker 1: to stay, so my wife and I let him rent
- 53:10Speaker 1: went up our side of a duplex we own. I
- 53:14Speaker 1: made him promise to be respectful to my older tenant,
- 53:17Speaker 1: that shared the duplex with him because she's a Christian
- 53:20Speaker 1: woman that loves peace and quiet. He moved in, and
- 53:24Speaker 1: in less than two weeks, the old lady called me
- 53:26Speaker 1: to complain about sex noises coming from his side of
- 53:29Speaker 1: the duplex. I talked to my cousin and asked him
- 53:32Speaker 1: to knock it off. I work full time, so my
- 53:35Speaker 1: wife manages our three properties and collects the rent. But
- 53:39Speaker 1: I'm the only one the old lady will talk to.
- 53:41Speaker 1: She's never liked my wife, and one evening i'd stop
- 53:45Speaker 1: by the duplex to put some reflective numbers on the
- 53:48Speaker 1: old lady's side of the duplex because she said her
- 53:51Speaker 1: girlfriends couldn't find her house at night. I pulled up
- 53:56Speaker 1: and my wife's car was parked in the sideyard out
- 53:59Speaker 1: of playing views who. I knocked on my cousin's door
- 54:02Speaker 1: several times and there was no answer. The old lady
- 54:04Speaker 1: came out of her door and she told me that
- 54:06Speaker 1: they can't hear me knocking because they're in there having
- 54:10Speaker 1: sex and making a bunch of noise. I told her
- 54:14Speaker 1: that I think it's my wife in there, and she
- 54:16Speaker 1: reminded me that she has never liked my wife, and
- 54:19Speaker 1: then said, this must be why she told me that
- 54:23Speaker 1: the car is always over there, So my wife is
- 54:25Speaker 1: coming by for more than the rent money. I broke
- 54:29Speaker 1: the window and I got in there and tried to
- 54:32Speaker 1: body slam my cousin. My wife moved out of our
- 54:36Speaker 1: house and into the raggedy duplex with my cousin. It's
- 54:40Speaker 1: been four years and they're still together. I still can't
- 54:43Speaker 1: get over it. How could they do this to me? Well,
- 54:49Speaker 1: because some people who just low down and evil. You know,
- 54:54Speaker 1: you may still be married on paper, but you don't
- 54:57Speaker 1: have a wife. You may as well let that go
- 54:59Speaker 1: because she let it go a long time ago. She
- 55:01Speaker 1: left you then way back, and we can't pick our relatives,
- 55:06Speaker 1: so he's gonna be your trifling cousin forever. My advice
- 55:11Speaker 1: to you is to first get a divorce, because clearly
- 55:15Speaker 1: this marriage is over. It's been four years. The next
- 55:18Speaker 1: thing I would do is put them out of the duplex.
- 55:20Speaker 6: Put them out.
- 55:21Speaker 1: It's been four years. Your cousin should be able to
- 55:24Speaker 1: get his own place by now. He shouldn't be living
- 55:27Speaker 1: off you anyway. I mean, you said you can't get
- 55:29Speaker 1: over it, but you're gonna have to. You're gonna have
- 55:32Speaker 1: to move on with your life. I mean, life does
- 55:34Speaker 1: go on. Try to get back out there. You know,
- 55:38Speaker 1: if you have friends, you can hang out with them
- 55:40Speaker 1: to ease back into the dating scene. I know you're
- 55:42Speaker 1: fifty one, I know that, but that's okay. You can
- 55:47Speaker 1: ask a friend out for lunch, you know, or for drinks.
- 55:50Speaker 1: You gotta start going to like get togethers and stuff
- 55:53Speaker 1: like that, barbecues, church events, comedy shows. Tommy, aren't you
- 55:57Speaker 1: touring now? Right? You go see Tommy he's touring again.
- 56:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You know, you gotta do things to get yourself out there.
- 56:05Speaker 1: And the more you get out there, the easier it's
- 56:07Speaker 1: going to be to get over your faithful, tricky, tricky
- 56:11Speaker 1: tricky wife, Steve, and.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Boy, this letter right here is major league disappointing to me.
- 56:24Speaker 4: She's getting more than money from him. Now here's a
- 56:29Speaker 4: fifty year old guy, he says, and I have a wife,
- 56:34Speaker 4: but I ain't live with her in four years. Well
- 56:38Speaker 4: you can quit calling her your wife. Right four years?
- 56:44Speaker 4: Pretty pretty we we we passed the point of fix it.
- 56:52Speaker 4: Four years. We did this over dog. Uh, your cousin
- 56:57Speaker 4: had a bad divorce and he needed some the state,
- 57:01Speaker 4: which means she took him to the cleaners, so he
- 57:06Speaker 4: ain't got nothing. So your wife let him rent a duplex,
- 57:11Speaker 4: and then you promised to be respectful of the older
- 57:13Speaker 4: tenant that you shared a deep duplex with Christian woman.
- 57:17Speaker 4: She like peace and quiet. After two weeks, the lady
- 57:20Speaker 4: called to complain about sex noises coming from his side
- 57:23Speaker 4: of the deep duplex. So you went in there and
- 57:26Speaker 4: you talk to the dude, told him to cut it out.
- 57:28Speaker 4: You work full time, so your wife manages the three
- 57:31Speaker 4: properties and collects the rent. But I'm the only person
- 57:34Speaker 4: that the old lady would talk to. She's never liked
- 57:38Speaker 4: my wife. This is very important information as we go
- 57:41Speaker 4: forward in this letter. The old lady knew something soon
- 57:48Speaker 4: as she met her. All women can pick up on
- 57:53Speaker 4: triflingness in a young woman. See one thing about women,
- 57:58Speaker 4: y'all women know each other. Women can fool us men,
- 58:02Speaker 4: but they can't fool each other. Girl, girl, girl, I
- 58:08Speaker 4: know that I've seen this movie before. I know this
- 58:10Speaker 4: whole scene what you're doing. Women know. Marjorie will spot
- 58:14Speaker 4: some stuff that I would never even dream of looking
- 58:17Speaker 4: at it, and she tripping. So the old lady knew something.
- 58:21Speaker 4: One evening stopped by the deep Lex put some reflective
- 58:24Speaker 4: numbers on the old lady's house counsel. They can't find
- 58:28Speaker 4: her house at night because they hold you pull up
- 58:31Speaker 4: in the wife's car parked on the other side of
- 58:34Speaker 4: out of plane view. So you knocked on your cousin
- 58:36Speaker 4: doing and what no answer? The old lady came out
- 58:38Speaker 4: her doing, told me they can't hear you knocking because
- 58:41Speaker 4: they are not having sex and making a bunch of noise. Well,
- 58:45Speaker 4: I told her, I think that's my wife in there.
- 58:49Speaker 4: She reminded me, I have never liked her. Now she
- 58:55Speaker 4: and not bringing your cousin. You need to get to
- 59:00Speaker 4: us and wonders or something.
- 59:02Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hold on, hold that thought. Okay, we'll
- 59:06Speaker 1: have part two of your response at twenty three minutes
- 59:09Speaker 1: after be our strawberry letter for today, she's getting more
- 59:13Speaker 1: than money from him. We'll get back into it right
- 59:15Speaker 1: after this. You're listening hard morning show. All right, Come on, Steve,
- 59:21Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject she's getting more
- 59:25Speaker 1: than money from him.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Well, I'm gonna recap this letter and then we're gonna
- 59:30Speaker 4: do a live re enactment. Okay, Shirley is gonna be
- 59:35Speaker 4: the woman. Oh, Tommy gonna be the guy. What Tommy,
- 59:44Speaker 4: you know trifling? You got that? Tommy gonna be the
- 59:47Speaker 4: trifling cuz he's usually the woman. Shirley, you're gonna be
- 59:52Speaker 4: the woman that's in the house that's been collecting the rent.
- 59:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna be the old lady next door since the
- 59:58Speaker 4: old day, I'll stay next door. So here we go.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: A fifty one year old man then rented out his
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: place to his cousin. Told him be respectful as an
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: old lady lived next door, but the old lady only
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: talks to him because the old lady don't like his wife,
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: who controls the three properties and collects all the rents. Well,
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: two weeks into the cousin moving in there, the lady
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: calling complaining about loud sex noises coming by. The guy
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: goes over there one night to change the reflective lightness
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: on her address so her people can see her address
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: at night. He get over there and the lady come
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: out complaining again, talking about some people in here having
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: loud sex noises. Well, he noticed his wife's car was
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: in the driveway out of plain view, so he said,
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: wait a minute, that I think that's my wife in there.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: The lady said, I told you that I did not
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: like her. Now she and here banging your cousin and
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: you standing out here. So now she told me that
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: the car was always over there. So now my wife
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: coming over from moting rent money. So I broke the
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: window and got in there and tried to body slam
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: my cousin. So I don't understand this part of the letter, right,
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: I mean, see, if you broke the window and you
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: tried to body slam your cousin. See, once I break
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: the window, it's unfinished business. That's just the beginning. Breaking
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: the window is a prelude me breaking your ass. See
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: we got this behind. Yeah, we ain't got to that yet.
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: But if I broke this window, stepped in here and
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: cut my back of my thigh on this glass, because
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: you got to climb through that window, you're gonna cut
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: your leg. Yeah. And he how old? Fifty?
- 1:01:48Speaker 13: What?
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Yeah? Fifty one? Yeah, he can't get there, no wonder. Yeah.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: So my wife moved out of our house and into
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: the raggedy DUPLEXU my cousin. It's been four years and
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: they still together. I still can't go over it. And
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: how I still can't get over how they do this
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: to me? How they did it? How they did it easy?
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: They both tricee, especially your wife. But while you hanging around,
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: she don't want you and she don't deserve you. Now
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: I'm understanding, what is it? You can't get over?
- 1:02:20Speaker 11: It's over.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: Everything's over except you. It's four years. So not here
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: we go. Here's the re enactment. Shirley, you in the
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: house with the man. I'm the old lady, sister, old Delle.
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: That's stay next door. Tommy, you the dude that's looking
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: for your wife. And when they got cheated on. Okay,
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: that's what the one that got cheated on. So is
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: you over here? Hello?
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Hello, oh hey, hey, how you doing?
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Hold on, Hirley, I'm talking Tommy then came over to
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: the house, so let me talk to I mean, we
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: ain't brought you in here. You in the house. You
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: ain't got nothing to say right now. You're busy.
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: You're there making noises, pay mispraise what you want to
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: put your reflectors there so I can put him on
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: his faith.
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: I want you to put it in there, cracking this
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: door to stop some of this racket in here. It's
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: some people in there having sakes and who is that
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: howling in there with him?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: With him?
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: I don't know who car the drive away that's my
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: that's my wife car. Right there, that's Joe that's joe
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: Anne car right there, joe Anne, that's my wife car. Well, well,
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: well I told you I never liked the little hussey

- 1:04:00Speaker 3: Yo?
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Wife, joe Anne, shut up your two damn loud in

- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Why don't you bust the one down with your stupid
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: ass standing out here talking about Marcus and Joe n You.
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: Think I'm gonna cut myself if I if I break
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: the one, You're think gonna cut myself?
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: Do it?

- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Pretty good to.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Me, all right? I one the two three? Joey? What

- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Look at me, look at you, look at her, Niked.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening.
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: Morning show.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: All right, we're back with part three of the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: You know, sometimes it's so good we have to do
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: more than two parts.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: Let me set up to reenact.
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: Men.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: What happened was the fifty one year old man that
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: his cousin stay in his house. The wife handles the
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: properties for her and her husband, and this Christian woman
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: that's shares the deep duplex. The husband told his cousin,
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: don't make no noise because she's a Christian woman. She
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: like a nice and quiet Two weeks into it, a
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: lot of sex noise coming from the house. The old
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: lady calls over and reports it. He goes over to
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: the house to change the address. One night, he see
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: his wife's car in the driveway and he knocking on
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: the door to see who she in. Now, the old
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: lady come out and said, they can't hear you knocking
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: because they're in there making sex noises. He said, well,
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: I think that's my wife in now. Well, the old
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: lady going, I told you I didn't like that helfeer.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: And so now the reenactment begins. Shirley is the woman,
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: Joe Anne that's in the house. Marcus is the trifling cousin.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: Tommy he the husband. The husband in here. And since
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: the old day'll stay next door. So now here we
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: go and were on the porch and let's go. Eugenie
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: is knocking on the door. Joe, it's her, Marcus, it's him.
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: Where I mean she got the people's.
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: Right, Marcus De'Andre Daniels, I know you ain't in there with.
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: My wife, Mark and Joe and the hussy. I'm in
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: the bust this window. I'm telling you, I'm in the
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: bust this window.
- 1:07:27Speaker 11: Share the water.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: Joe waiting on you to do something too. Three two
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: and a half Joe, damn it, Buster, what is your

- 1:07:47Speaker 4: got no clothes off? Why Joe? Why is your niked?

- 1:08:00Speaker 1: in the rent walked up in there.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: I'm going to try the body slam you marked?
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: Did you hear me?
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: Try? Track? Track? Doesn't sound like they was in there trying.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: Sounds like somebody was getting some accomplished. It's been to help, Marked,
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: It's been to help right here, right here when it
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: go down right here? No wonder she over here?
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Bye, Eugene, I'm with Marcus now baby bye.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: See whole year.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: All right, We'll let more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Show coming up right after this. You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: All right, guys, here's a question for you. Is it
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: possible to be too tired to go to sleep?
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: It's perfectly possible to feel tired and at the same
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: time have trouble dozing off. Certain life stresses and health
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: problems can leave us feeling exhausted, but at the same
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: time make it difficult to relax and go to sleep. Also,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: missing out on sleep can disrupt our natural rhythms, which
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: can make us feel wide awake when we usually be sleeping.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: So here's the question. Have you ever been too tired
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: to sleep? I've heard people say that before I was
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: so tired I couldn't even sleep. What do you think
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: caused that?
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: Well, I know for a fact you could be tired
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: and not be sleepy. And then sometimes, man, you can.
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: I've done myself like that many times. I just push
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: myself to the edge and then it's so much adrenaline
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: that it takes a while for the adrenaline to go
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: because you've just been exerting yourself. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: and then that adrenaline is flowing and you're up in
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: your hype because man, it's sometimes, like Tommy Junior tell you,
- 1:09:58Speaker 4: after the show is kind of hard, a hard to
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: go to sleep. You're still excited.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: Yeah, you're tired, Yeah, just yeah, done a show. So
- 1:10:07Speaker 7: you just be sitting there at three o'clock in the morning, Yeah,
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: just looking around.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: So what do you do in that case when you
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: know you have to get some rest?
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: I passed his bag.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: So if this slightness what I do?
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: And you sleep on the plane, Yeah, I try to
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: get sleep on the plane.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: I love sleeping on the plane.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, But what about Steve, when you're not too
- 1:10:29Speaker 7: tired and you're getting and you look forward to that sleep,
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: and how do you.
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: Sleep?
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: You know you're about to I'm talking about when I
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: know I'm sleeping, you know, like I'll be talking to
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: somebody and be looking dead at their ass, but don't
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: but don't be listening, right, but be rocking back and
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: forth just a little bit, you know, but not side
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: to side, back and forth like closer to him, fall
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: away close to him for all the way, and just
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: be rocking like that so it don't look because.
- 1:11:04Speaker 8: You don't want to rock side to side because that
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: throw people off. But when you rock towards them.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: That just lures them in. And then be just talking
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: and I don't be hearing nothing. They say, I've shut
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: my eyes completely. While somebody was talking at Lady one
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: time at this meeting, she was talking and I was
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: just looking at her rocket I fell asleep. She said,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: are you okay? I'm fine? You a right? What's wrong
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: with you?
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: See? I really think you hold the record of getting
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: on the plane and falling asleep the fastest.
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: I don't give it that not put that belt on. Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 4: but I go to sleep on the plane and the
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: heartbeat I don't.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Yes, you will.
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: On the plane.
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: No no, no, no no no, said the Entertainer's boy
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: KB kp KB KB snorres. We was on plane one time,
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: came to her. KB was snoring so loud. The white
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: dude next to him said, hey, are you serious? Are
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: you really serious? So k KB saying, hey, man, my bad,
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: but I do snore. So KB went back in again.
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: Now we crossed the aisle, KB snoring so loud. We
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: on the other side of our men said, just holly.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: The white dude said, oh my god.
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: For crying out loud, mister, can you please sit up?
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: K B telling you, KB saying, hey man, I just
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: told you I snore, So listen to this right here.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: If you wake me up one moment time, you ain't
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: gonna believe what else I do. It is a loud too,
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: because my ass whoop his skills is just as loud
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: as my soul source.
- 1:13:06Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: So we were over there and ten minutes later.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: K B wood ripping and went in again.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: That dude got up out of first class and went
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: back in coaching.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Set out wows right. Coming up more of today's trending

- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Just I just cut my camera, walk off and then
- 1:14:52Speaker 4: come back and cut your came on and ask a
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: pride like I don't know what's going on? Yeah, well.

- 1:16:07Speaker 4: slow as I can. Bees be all over my ass.
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: I walk the ass right into a lake, all right?
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Would you rather go to jail for a crime your
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: loved one committed, or would you rather snitch on your
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: loved one for a crime they committed.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: Oh god, this is gonna be here.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: You're a snitch.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: Snitch, I'm not a snitch. I'm not snitching. I'm telling.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: There's a different, same thing.
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: I'm gonna go to jail for something I didn't do

- 1:16:48Speaker 4: them and asked to jail. Yeah, loved one were talking about.
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: That's a different thing.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Who okay, it just says loved one. But say it's
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: your spouse or you know, your favorite child, something like.
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: Child. Oh no, no, if it's my spouse, I'm gonna
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: go to jail.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I do anything.
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: Girl, I don't.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: What you say the right thing?
- 1:17:15Speaker 4: Are you crazy?
- 1:17:16Speaker 8: Right now, we're gonna visit, I mean, me and them
- 1:17:19Speaker 8: kids are gonna visit. We don't go down there and
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: see they mama what we got. I mean, I'm gonna come.
- 1:17:26Speaker 8: I'm coming down there side.
- 1:17:27Speaker 4: I'm down there. I'm coming.
- 1:17:29Speaker 8: If the boy ain't and the boy, if the boy
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: ain't got baseball, we downing there. We're gonna come from.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: But why you do what you do?
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: Why you do that? Now? I'm gonna say this though,
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: all of your if it's one of my children, uh
- 1:17:47Speaker 4: huh oh that in go jail.
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: They know what you need.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: Somebody on our side with some money and some influence
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: that could get you out. Oh okay.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Last one? Would you rather get a raise or a bonus?
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: You got to know the numbers.
- 1:18:09Speaker 11: Yeah, I need to know numbers for this.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: I got some bonus. If you haven't seen the people,
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: get them bonus at them big companies them bonus. You

- 1:18:20Speaker 4: all that want was right, I steal the rest. I'm
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: gonna follow his lead. He knows about money more by
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: money than we do.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, that's our round. Would you rather today?
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: Coming up?
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It is our last break of the day, and of
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: course we'll have some clothing remarks at forty nine minutes
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: after the hour from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: All right, Steve, here we are.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Last break of the day, and Steve, give us something
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: uplifting in your clothing remarks.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: Okay, look, I know when you're chasing your that it
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: gets a little hard for you sometimes I'm fully aware
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: of that. I know sometimes when you're chasing them dreams,
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: it gets daunting. I know you get disappointed. I know,
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: I know really man, that you become impatient because you
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: go like wow, and man, it don't seem like nothing's happening.
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: I'm just saying that to hang in there. I'm just
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: trying to encourage you. You know, the one thing in
- 1:19:30Speaker 4: order to make your dreams come true, you can never quit.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: If you quit one hundred percent, I can promise you
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: your dreams for won't come sure if you quit. So
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: you've got to persevere. You've got to be persistent. You're
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: gonna have to realize that you're gonna be faced with
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: the challenges, the disappointments, hardships, setbacks. It's a part of
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: the life. It's part of life, but it's part of
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: the game of success. What the devil does, though, he
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: has a masterful trick. In this moment of disappointment, setbacks, hurt,
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: and impatience, he has an amazing trick. He starts playing
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: with your mind. Maybe it ain't meant to be.
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: Here.
- 1:20:25Speaker 9: Go real.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: When he playing it, you know it probably ain't God's
- 1:20:27Speaker 4: will own. You gotta be careful of that, and be
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: careful of people who always tell you it may not
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: be God's will. How do they know what God's will
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: is is for you? Be very careful of people who
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: always come to you with that, never a word of encouragement,
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: never a word to say, hey, you know, I'm pulling
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: for you, None of that. You know, Be learc of
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: people who say, you know, it may not be for you,
- 1:20:56Speaker 4: maybe it's not for you. How do they know this?
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: How do they know this? If you bent on that happening,
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: if you've seen it in your imagination over and over
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: and over, if you're thoroughly convinced that this is for you,
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: and if you gifted at it, stop listening to these people.
- 1:21:17Speaker 4: Stop listening to these people. Have you ever heard somebody
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: you know what could be? Maybe you're thinking to being
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: are you kidding me? Maybe it's not your time, Maybe
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: it ain't the Lord's will. When a person always comes
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: to you with that and never has words of encouragement,
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: you have shared your dream with the worst person you
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: can possibly share your dream with. If you want to
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: kill a big dream, share it with a small minded person.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: Oh my god, they are experts at how come? Why
- 1:21:56Speaker 4: not what fall to work out? Small minded people only
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: tell you why something won't work. Have you noticed that everybody?
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: Do you have somebody in your life man, that every
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: time you talk to them they got something negative say?
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: You know, you know?
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: Have you ever heard anybody say to them to you
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: know what, You've really put enough into this? Have you
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: ever heard that you've really put enough into this? Hold on,
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: wait a minute, man, do you realize that in order
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: to become successful that you have to pour your all
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: in all into something? All in all means all you
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: got at all? Smote when you when you when something
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: says you have to give y'all all in all, That
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: means you have to give y'all all, which is everything
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: you have, and then you have to find some more
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: to throw at it. That's what all in all means.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: That's given it. You're all at all, So you gotta
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: throw everything you have at it, and then you gotta
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: throw some more at it. My father used to take this,
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: tell me this all the time, and I did not
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: understand it until I got older. He used to always
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: say to me, he says, son, when you think you
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: can't do no more, do some more. And I actually
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: be looking at my father, Come, man, this dude crazy.
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: Didn't he hear me just say how tired I am?
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: Didn't my father just hear me say I can't do
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: no more? He looked dead at me and say, son,
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: when you feel like you can't do no more, do
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: some more. I bet you can't. And you know what,
- 1:23:41Speaker 4: he was right. I didn't get it till I grew up,
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: and I started thinking about giving up or quitting or
- 1:23:47Speaker 4: walking away. And I found myself just hanging in there,
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: because you know what, when you think you've done everything
- 1:23:55Speaker 4: you could do and you can't do no more, do
- 1:23:58Speaker 4: like my daddy, slip hard. He said, just do some.
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: When you want to be successful, you're gonna have to
- 1:24:04Speaker 4: give you all in all. So that means you gotta
- 1:24:08Speaker 4: put all you have into it. And when you to
- 1:24:11Speaker 4: put all you got into something, you gotta find some
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: more and throw that at it too. That's it. If
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: you can do that, If you can do that, that's
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: the end of a very famous poem I learned while pledging,
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: call if if you can fulfill the unforgiving minute with
- 1:24:31Speaker 4: sixty seconds worth of distance, run the earth is yours
- 1:24:36Speaker 4: and everything that's in it, And which is more you
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: will be a man, my son. The key to that
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: is if you can fulfill the unforgiving minute, and then
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: that unforgiving minute means it just keeps on ticket. But
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: if you can fill it with sixty seconds worth of
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: distance run, that means the whole time you in there,
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: you hauling the earth is yours and everything that's in it,
- 1:25:00Speaker 4: and which is more, you'll be a man, my son.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: That's what it takes.
- 1:25:04Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: Y'all have a great day today. Talk to God that
- 1:25:07Speaker 4: they love to hear from you. Okay, y'all, stay in peace.
- 1:25:09Speaker 4: We are.
