Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Dem Presidential Candidates Crash & Burn on Foreign Policy, plus Obama goes on the Attack
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Center, Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:05Speaker 2: we've got one heck of a show we're dealing with. Well,
- 0:08Speaker 2: some Democrats that just fell flat on their face on
- 0:10Speaker 2: the international stage.
- 0:12Speaker 1: We have that for you.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Also, Barack Obama decided to go after law enforcement again,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and we even got you a little update on the
- 0:19Speaker 2: sewage problem on the Potomac that Democrats are mishandling yet again.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Yeah, look, all of that is happening.
- 0:25Speaker 4: We had three likely Democrat presidential candidates in Munich at
- 0:30Speaker 4: the Munich Security Conference. They tried to engage in foreign
- 0:34Speaker 4: policy and let me just say, it did not go well.
- 0:36Speaker 4: You had AOC, you had Gretchen Whitmer, and you had
- 0:39Speaker 4: Gavin Newsom and and it was a mess. We're gonna
- 0:42Speaker 4: come with the details where you're gonna listen to exactly
- 0:45Speaker 4: what they said, and you're being kind and boy, all
- 0:49Speaker 4: three of them wish they could do do a take
- 0:50Speaker 4: two in reset.
- 0:52Speaker 3: As you noted. Barack Obama also, I guess.
- 0:55Speaker 4: He was feeling lonely, you know, laying back at his
- 0:58Speaker 4: mansion collecting the million dollars Hollywood has paid him, and
- 1:02Speaker 4: so he decided to get back in the political freight
- 1:04Speaker 4: by unleashing a frank flamethrower, attacking Ice, attacking Trump, just
- 1:10Speaker 4: just viciously engaging in the partisan battle.
- 1:13Speaker 3: We're going to break that down for you as well.
- 1:15Speaker 4: And finally, as you noted, we're going to give an
- 1:18Speaker 4: update on the billion gallons of sewage that Democrats have
- 1:23Speaker 4: dumped into the Potomac River and the latest update on that.
- 1:26Speaker 4: As bad as that story is, the latest updates even worse.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I want to take a moment and I want to
- 1:32Speaker 2: talk to you real quick about an organization that is
- 1:35Speaker 2: just doing amazing work. It is called Compassion International. I
- 1:39Speaker 2: want you to just pause what you're doing for the
- 1:41Speaker 2: next sixty seconds, and I want you to imagine Lucy,
- 1:44Speaker 2: a seven year old. Her stomach often aches with hunger,
- 1:47Speaker 2: her small hands instead of holding crayons, now only the
- 1:51Speaker 2: struggle of survival on dusty streets. School is a distant dream,
- 1:57Speaker 2: medical care forgotten, hope. Lucy's is overshadowed, Her future is dim.
- 2:03Speaker 2: But what if someone stepped in. What if there was
- 2:05Speaker 2: a way to ignite hope for children just like Lucy.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Well there is, and that is with Compassion International Partners
- 2:12Speaker 2: and the local churches that provide children holistic support.
- 2:17Speaker 1: More than just food.
- 2:18Speaker 2: They receive critical medical care, life changing education, vital skills training,
- 2:24Speaker 2: and spiritual development, all in Jesus's name, And you can
- 2:28Speaker 2: empower a child just like Lucy to break free from poverty.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I want you to do what I've done and sponsor
- 2:35Speaker 2: a child today. You can visit Compassion dot com. That's
- 2:39Speaker 2: Compassion dot com. All right, So let's start with this
- 2:44Speaker 2: security you know event in Munich that they have, and
- 2:47Speaker 2: can you explain to people why this event is. Is
- 2:51Speaker 2: kind of like a resume thing if you're looking to
- 2:53Speaker 2: run for office, if you're trying to raise your stature,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you show up there in Munich. It's a kumbai ya event,
- 3:00Speaker 2: is how I describe it. But get people the background
- 3:03Speaker 2: and why everyone that's trying to be somebody wants to
- 3:05Speaker 2: be there.
- 3:05Speaker 4: In the political world, yeah, look, the Munich Security Conference
- 3:09Speaker 4: is held every year and it's in Munich, obviously, and
- 3:11Speaker 4: you get quite a few leaders from the United States
- 3:15Speaker 4: who go over. You get both Republicans and Democrats. I've
- 3:18Speaker 4: been to it numerous times. You get foreign heads of state,
- 3:22Speaker 4: you get secretaries of state, you get foreign ministers and
- 3:25Speaker 4: they're from all over.
- 3:27Speaker 3: A lot of Europeans go.
- 3:28Speaker 4: And people more broadly go, and it can be a
- 3:31Speaker 4: very productive time because when you go there are these
- 3:34Speaker 4: panel discussions and conferences, but you also do a whole
- 3:37Speaker 4: series of one on one meetings, and so you can
- 3:40Speaker 4: go to one place and meet with a half dozen
- 3:42Speaker 4: different heads of state. So it can be very efficient
- 3:44Speaker 4: in terms of having productive national security and foreign policy conversations.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Now two people who went, i believe for the first
- 3:53Speaker 4: time were AOC and Gretchen Whitmer. Now it is no
- 3:57Speaker 4: secret that both of them are looking quite seriously at
- 4:01Speaker 4: running for president as a Democrat, only because the Communist
- 4:05Speaker 4: Party is not having a contested primary, but but they're
- 4:07Speaker 4: thinking of running in.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Twenty twenty eight.
- 4:09Speaker 4: And if you run for president, you presumably should know
- 4:12Speaker 4: something about foreign policy. You should be able to say,
- 4:15Speaker 4: spin a globe and have some clue about some country
- 4:20Speaker 4: that is further out than Brooklyn. Well, AOC took a
- 4:25Speaker 4: hand at it. And by the way, she's, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 4: a young vocal socialist in America. She was going and
- 4:35Speaker 4: expecting just to be embraced in Europe. I mean, look young,
- 4:38Speaker 4: pretty socialists. That's kind of like European trade eat.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Right, yeah, this is like is she was saying, an
- 4:45Speaker 2: easy street, no no prep time needed, right.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know, in terms of being ready for
- 4:51Speaker 4: prime time. Listen to this exchange she had when asked
- 4:55Speaker 4: about one of the most pressing foreign policy questions across
- 4:58Speaker 4: the globe right now, would.
- 5:00Speaker 5: And should the US actually commit US troops to defend
- 5:04Speaker 5: Taiwan if China were to move.
- 5:08Speaker 6: You know, I think that this is such a you know,
- 5:15Speaker 6: I think that.
- 5:17Speaker 7: This is a.
- 5:21Speaker 6: This is of course, a very long standing policy of
- 5:27Speaker 6: the United States, and I think what we are hoping
- 5:31Speaker 6: for is that we want to make sure that we
- 5:32Speaker 6: never get to that point, and we want to make
- 5:36Speaker 6: sure that we are moving in all of our economic
- 5:40Speaker 6: research and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation
- 5:45Speaker 6: and for that question to even arise, all.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Right, Senator, Look, I've had the privilege of working on
- 5:51Speaker 2: quite a few campaigns and some presidential campaigns. This would
- 5:55Speaker 2: be one of the first questions. And you when you
- 5:58Speaker 2: do prep, whether it's to debate prep or a major
- 6:01Speaker 2: get on stage event, we call it, you know, rolling
- 6:04Speaker 2: out the agenda of a candidate. How was she not
- 6:07Speaker 2: prepared to answer that question. And the scary part was
- 6:10Speaker 2: the whole room was like, she has no idea what
- 6:12Speaker 2: she's saying right now.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, look, everyone knew that. You know, several things
- 6:16Speaker 4: come to mind. Number one, you know the popular gift
- 6:19Speaker 4: online of carry Eli was kind of kind of fluttering
- 6:22Speaker 4: his eyelashes. Yeah, that's what I immediately think of, like
- 6:25Speaker 4: looking at this, like.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Well, that's that's something.
- 6:29Speaker 1: That's something. Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I also am hearing in my head Kamala Harris going, wow,
- 6:35Speaker 4: that's a word salad.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean it's not it's not
- 6:39Speaker 2: even I mean, it was a It was a blunder
- 6:41Speaker 2: that I would argue would probably come up in a campaign,
- 6:44Speaker 2: right like, even if you try to fix this now
- 6:47Speaker 2: it's out there. How unprepared she is for national security issues.
- 6:51Speaker 2: And this would have been if you and I were
- 6:53Speaker 2: doing debate prepper or this prep for her in a meeting,
- 6:56Speaker 2: You're like, hey, what do you think you're gonna ask?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Immediately I would have said it Ran.
- 6:59Speaker 2: I would have said you in Russia, and you would
- 7:00Speaker 2: have said Taiwan in China, like those are the top
- 7:02Speaker 2: of the list.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Weren't even having to make a list Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Look, it's one of the things Democrats, and particularly those
- 7:08Speaker 4: on the far left, they're used to being in environments
- 7:11Speaker 4: where everyone agrees with them, where they're just kissing there behind. Oh,
- 7:15Speaker 4: you're so wonderful, you're so cool, you're so awesome, you're
- 7:18Speaker 4: so hip. Most Democrats they don't do hostile media interviews.
- 7:23Speaker 3: They won't go on Fox News.
- 7:25Speaker 4: They go on MSNBC or CNN or even the networks,
- 7:28Speaker 4: and they just just get slabbering praise and never get challenged.
- 7:34Speaker 4: So that was clearly a problem, and I got to say, Okay.
- 7:39Speaker 4: So Gretchen Whitmer, governor of Michigan, considered a serious presidential
- 7:44Speaker 4: contender by many observers, she had a similar problem.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Listen to Gretchen Whitmer getting asked a question.
- 7:51Speaker 1: On Ukraine, what does victory look like?
- 7:55Speaker 8: Ambasador?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Oh please, I'd love to hear your answer.
- 8:02Speaker 8: It is I the two, the two that I am
- 8:05Speaker 8: on the panel with, are much more steeped in foreign
- 8:07Speaker 8: policy than a governor is. But you know, I do
- 8:11Speaker 8: think that Ukraine's independence, keeping their their land mass and
- 8:17Speaker 8: having the support of all the allies, I think is
- 8:22Speaker 8: the goal from my vantage point. Go ahead, ambassador, do
- 8:26Speaker 8: better job.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You and I, by the way, know who the ambassadors
- 8:30Speaker 2: and she's looking at asking to bail him out, are
- 8:33Speaker 2: like begging for a conservative to bail her out. I
- 8:37Speaker 2: laughed because his response toor was exactly what I would
- 8:41Speaker 2: have done.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I think what you would have been.
- 8:42Speaker 2: You're like, no, no, no, please, I want to hear your answer, like,
- 8:44Speaker 2: by all means, ladies, first you go ahead, tell us
- 8:46Speaker 2: what you think here.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And the ambassador, Matt Whitaker, who's the US ambassador to NATO,
- 8:53Speaker 4: was Donald Trump's acting attorney general in the first term,
- 8:58Speaker 4: so he is close to the president. He is a conservative,
- 9:02Speaker 4: and the idea that she looks to him and is like, uh,
- 9:05Speaker 4: can I call a friend? Did do I get a lifeline?
- 9:08Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah?
- 9:09Speaker 2: Do I get a lifeline to the hardcore conservant that
- 9:11Speaker 2: works for Trump across me? And then she even Kummlanin's like, well,
- 9:13Speaker 2: they know more about this than a governor wouldn't know.
- 9:16Speaker 4: And by the way that they she's also talking about
- 9:18Speaker 4: AOC that after AOC is like, what is this Taiwan
- 9:23Speaker 4: thing of which you speak?
- 9:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, where's Taiwan? Yeah?
- 9:25Speaker 4: And then Gretchen Whitmer has asked, Okay, Ukraine, Ukraine?
- 9:29Speaker 3: What is I know? No Ukraine. I'm sorry who Ukraine? What?
- 9:32Speaker 1: What?
- 9:32Speaker 3: What's that?
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's a no Clinton joke. Right, I've never met her,
- 9:35Speaker 2: I don't know her. I know nothing about her. Right, Ukraine.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I don't have no idea.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I'm waiting for them. You know, I
- 9:40Speaker 4: did not have relations with that country like like that.
- 9:43Speaker 1: That's exactly.
- 9:45Speaker 3: You know.
- 9:45Speaker 4: It's interesting that there was an article written on Fox
- 9:49Speaker 4: News Digital by David Marcus, who writes for them, that
- 9:52Speaker 4: I actually thought was a very interesting article. I retweeted
- 9:54Speaker 4: it this week. I read it, and I just thought
- 9:56Speaker 4: it was interesting. It was democrats Munich meltdown exposes left's
- 10:01Speaker 4: intellectual void. AOC's cringe inducing word salad on world stage
- 10:06Speaker 4: should embarrass old school liberals. I want to read a
- 10:08Speaker 4: little bit of it because I thought he made very
- 10:10Speaker 4: good points. When I was growing up in the nineteen eighties,
- 10:13Speaker 4: there was a galaxy of left wing, even socialist intellectual
- 10:17Speaker 4: stars such as Noam Chomsky, Michael Fukout, and Gorvidal, whose
- 10:23Speaker 4: works will were like an ink well that politicians and
- 10:27Speaker 4: commentators could draw from. Judging from the Munich Security Conference,
- 10:31Speaker 4: this weekend that ink Weell has run dry. Take this
- 10:37Speaker 4: gem of a comment on global order from AOC, queen
- 10:41Speaker 4: of the Democratic Socialists, quote, what we are seeking as
- 10:45Speaker 4: a return to a rules based order that eliminates the
- 10:47Speaker 4: hypocrisies around when too often in the West we look
- 10:50Speaker 4: the other way for inconvenient populations to act out these paradoxes.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Huh. Allow me to translate this in English. I'm returning
- 11:01Speaker 3: to de Marcus's.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Column quote, the West is bad and mistreats the marginalized
- 11:06Speaker 4: rest of the world. The use of twenty five cent
- 11:10Speaker 4: words and high falutine sentence structure cannot hide the banality
- 11:13Speaker 4: of what.
- 11:14Speaker 3: AOC is saying.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Not even the assuring allure of assonance would help, given
- 11:20Speaker 4: the asinine simplicity of her word salad. Not to be outdone,
- 11:25Speaker 4: Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, after apologizing for being less well
- 11:29Speaker 4: versed in foreign policy than AOC, offered this take on
- 11:34Speaker 4: the war in Ukraine. Ukraine's independence keeping their land masks,
- 11:37Speaker 4: I mean on the support of all allies, I think
- 11:39Speaker 4: is the goal. From my vantage point, there is just
- 11:42Speaker 4: nothing here but empty words that paint a picture of
- 11:47Speaker 4: the facile progressive worldview completely divorced not only from reality
- 11:52Speaker 4: on the ground, but from any sound intellectual framework whatsoever.
- 11:57Speaker 4: The American right has a horror of intellectuals. From Christopher Ruffo,
- 12:02Speaker 4: who we've had on this show on Verdict, Yeah, Victor
- 12:04Speaker 4: Davis Hanson, who's a good friend, to Mark Dubobittz who's
- 12:07Speaker 4: another good friend, and on and on, who can be
- 12:10Speaker 4: referred to or drawn on in policy debates both foreign
- 12:13Speaker 4: and domestic. In fact, about a decade ago, we had
- 12:18Speaker 4: intellectual dark web phenomenon with figures like Jordan Peterson and
- 12:23Speaker 4: Barry Weiss who are broadly seen, if not as conservative,
- 12:27Speaker 4: as right leaning. Who are their counterparts on the far left?
- 12:32Speaker 4: Who is the contemporary socialist intellectual who AOC could have
- 12:36Speaker 4: referenced to support or claim that what is needed is
- 12:40Speaker 4: massive global redistribution of wealth. I would posit that outside
- 12:45Speaker 4: of the very narrow corridors of race and gender, such
- 12:48Speaker 4: far left public intellectuals no longer exist, and for two
- 12:52Speaker 4: very important reasons. The most obvious cause for the current
- 12:56Speaker 4: dearth of popular far left socialist intellectuals is the collapse
- 13:00Speaker 4: of the Soviet Union in the late nineteen eighties. At
- 13:03Speaker 4: least for the next two decades. The game was up,
- 13:05Speaker 4: the experiment had failed, and nobody wanted to be called
- 13:08Speaker 4: a socialist. The second reason is that what took the
- 13:12Speaker 4: place of outright socialism was the cultural Marxism, specifically in
- 13:17Speaker 4: the form of critical race theory. And essentially they've replaced
- 13:22Speaker 4: there foreign policy with just it's all about race and
- 13:25Speaker 4: gender and identity politics. And I got to say, this
- 13:32Speaker 4: is a dangerous world. By the way, Neither of those
- 13:36Speaker 4: questions are easy. Let's take Taiwan. Taiwan is China. Taiwan
- 13:42Speaker 4: is the single most likely place for a major powers
- 13:46Speaker 4: conflict on the face of the Earth. The biggest surprise
- 13:50Speaker 4: I have from Joe Biden's presidency is that China did
- 13:53Speaker 4: not invade Taiwan in the final year of Biden's presidency
- 13:57Speaker 4: because Biden would have done nothing. Biden would have been
- 13:59Speaker 4: utterly impotent, and I can only assume that she was
- 14:03Speaker 4: concerned about the prospects of success. He didn't want to fail,
- 14:06Speaker 4: and so he didn't make the move. I do not
- 14:09Speaker 4: believe China will make a move on Taiwan while Trump
- 14:12Speaker 4: is president, for the very simple reason that I think
- 14:15Speaker 4: she is afraid of Trump.
- 14:17Speaker 2: And Trump's been clear he is a response president, like
- 14:21Speaker 2: don't push me. Watch and there's multiple examples of that.
- 14:24Speaker 2: That's why his foreign policy is so effective.
- 14:26Speaker 4: And listen in terms of what the US military response
- 14:30Speaker 4: would be to an invasion of Taiwan, it has been
- 14:34Speaker 4: US policy for a long time to have some degree
- 14:37Speaker 4: of measured ambiguity. We will defend Taiwan, but we haven't
- 14:41Speaker 4: specified precisely how yep. Back in twenty nineteen, I traveled
- 14:47Speaker 4: to Asia, and I went went first to Pearl Harbor,
- 14:49Speaker 4: and then I went to Japan and Taiwan and Hong
- 14:53Speaker 4: Kong and India, And that was designed to be a
- 14:56Speaker 4: friends and ally too her all surrounding China and US
- 15:00Speaker 4: seeing with with with heads of state and and and
- 15:02Speaker 4: cabinet members. A question I posed I posed at the
- 15:07Speaker 4: time the Japanese Prime Minister uh Abe, who sadly is
- 15:11Speaker 4: no longer with us, but but I posed him. I said,
- 15:14Speaker 4: what would Japan do if China moved militarily on Taiwan
- 15:19Speaker 4: and made an amphibious landing? And I got to say
- 15:22Speaker 4: the blood drained from his face. He did not like that.
- 15:24Speaker 4: That that that that question. He did a lot better
- 15:26Speaker 4: than than AOC. It wasn't that he had nothing to say.
- 15:29Speaker 4: It's just that that their ability to repel that militarily,
- 15:34Speaker 4: I think is less than that than his ideal. The
- 15:38Speaker 4: single best way to deal with it is to deter
- 15:42Speaker 4: it in the first place, which AOC kind of stumbled
- 15:45Speaker 4: to at the end. But but look, in in national
- 15:48Speaker 4: security parlance, that the doctrine is called making Taiwan a porcupine,
- 15:54Speaker 4: making it so difficult to capture that you prevent China
- 15:59Speaker 4: from engaging because and I've been through and study the
- 16:02Speaker 4: war games where China moves on Taiwan, the US responds militarily.
- 16:07Speaker 4: There are lots of scenarios where that escalates into a really,
- 16:10Speaker 4: really ugly shooting war. And so no one in their
- 16:14Speaker 4: right mind wants to see that happen, which is part
- 16:17Speaker 4: of why the US makes clear, Look, if you move
- 16:20Speaker 4: on Taiwan, you could very well see a serious US
- 16:23Speaker 4: military response. That's part of deterrence. Another part of deterrence
- 16:28Speaker 4: is providing Taiwan the weapons, the missiles and land mines
- 16:33Speaker 4: and everything that makes it difficult for an amphibious landing
- 16:37Speaker 4: to be quick and successful. Everything I just said, I
- 16:41Speaker 4: promise you AAOC has no idea about any of that.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I got to ask you a question, can you buy
- 16:47Speaker 2: roe bitcoin in your retirement account? Well, if not, it's
- 16:51Speaker 2: time to upgrade to Bitcoin IRA. It's twenty twenty six
- 16:55Speaker 2: and cryptocurrency is where so many investors are going and diversify.
- 17:00Speaker 2: You can buy and sell bitcoin inside a tax advantage
- 17:04Speaker 2: IRA with Bitcoin IRA, and that gives you more ways
- 17:08Speaker 2: to diversify and grow your retirement savings. Security is their
- 17:13Speaker 2: number one priority, and your assets are protected by military
- 17:18Speaker 2: grade multi key security and you're covered up to two
- 17:22Speaker 2: hundred and fifty million in digital asset insurance.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So what are you waiting for?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Get in the bitcoin game today and diversify your portfolio.
- 17:33Speaker 2: You actually talk to a real person eight six six
- 17:36Speaker 2: six seven nine six' eight seven one eight six six
- 17:41Speaker 2: six seven nine seven eight seven to one or bitcoin
- 17:47Speaker 2: ira dot com slash ben that's bitcoin ira dot com

- 17:54Speaker 2: to one thousand dollars bonus right, now before we get
- 17:58Speaker 2: by the way To obama AND i want to move,
- 18:00Speaker 2: that BUT i do want to play something THAT aoc
- 18:02Speaker 2: had to say In, germany AND i want to get your.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Reaction this now this was In. Germany everybody take a.
- 18:09Speaker 7: Listen my name Is, Hagar i'm From. Israel i'm a
- 18:12Speaker 7: journalist For, haretz and my question is for a, Congresswoman Okazi.
- 18:16Speaker 7: CORTES i wanted to know if you think that The
- 18:21Speaker 7: democratic presidential candidate in the twenty twenty eight elections should
- 18:27Speaker 7: reevaluate military aid To.
- 18:29Speaker 6: ISRAEL i, MEAN i to, me this isn't just about
- 18:34Speaker 6: a presidential. Election, PERSONALLY i think that The United states
- 18:40Speaker 6: has an obligation to uphold its own, laws particularly le he,
- 18:44Speaker 6: laws AND i think that personally that the idea of
- 18:51Speaker 6: completely unconditional aid no matter what one, does does not make.
- 18:55Speaker 6: SENSE i think it enabled the genocide In, gaza AND
- 18:59Speaker 6: i think.
- 18:59Speaker 1: That we have.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Thousands of women and children dead that don't that was completely.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Avoidable and SO i believe that enforcement of our own,
- 19:14Speaker 6: laws through The leaky, laws which requires conditioning aid in
- 19:19Speaker 6: any circumstance when you see gross human rights, violations is.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Appropriate, centera let you take it from, there because that. One,
- 19:27Speaker 2: honestly WHEN i saw, IT i was like.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Wow so, LOOK aoc is a founding member of The.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Squad she is a hardcore, leftist and if you really
- 19:37Speaker 4: want to translate what she's. Saying she's, Saying, Listen i'm
- 19:41Speaker 4: A marxist AND i Hate israel because on the left
- 19:44Speaker 4: we Hate israel Because, israel we think is a colonialist.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Oppressor The marxists divide the world into two, groups oppressors and,
- 19:55Speaker 4: victims and an AOC's, World israel is an oppressor and
- 19:58Speaker 4: The palestinians are the. Victim and once you fall into
- 20:03Speaker 4: that framework for today's left, leftist you support the violent
- 20:09Speaker 4: revolutionary overthrow by the so called victims of the so called. Oppressors,
- 20:14Speaker 4: now she threw out the claim That israel has committed
- 20:18Speaker 4: a genocide In.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Gaza that is a total.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Lie BUT i will say there's a particular irony for
- 20:26Speaker 4: An american to go To, germany where an actual genocide,
- 20:29Speaker 4: occurred where The nazis exterminated six Million jews in concentration,
- 20:34Speaker 4: camps where they committed human experiments and. Torture that remains
- 20:39Speaker 4: the most concentrated evil humanity has ever. Seen and for
- 20:44Speaker 4: her to say it blithely with no acknowledgment of that
- 20:50Speaker 4: it is ideology over. Truth that answer is grotesque WHAT
- 20:55Speaker 4: aoc just said. There AND i will point out on
- 20:58Speaker 4: the claim of. Genocide you, know it's, interesting do you
- 21:01Speaker 4: know who just recently contradicted.
- 21:02Speaker 3: That here's That Hamas.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Hamas hamas just publicly said that they are providing aid
- 21:12Speaker 4: to over fifty thousand widows Of hamas. Terrorists, now mind,
- 21:18Speaker 4: you the narrative is That israel was killing innocent women and.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Children the death toll, varies but it is somewhere between
- 21:25Speaker 4: sixty and seventy. Thousand So hamas is amitting eighty percent
- 21:29Speaker 4: of the people killed Were hamas terrorists because they're giving
- 21:33Speaker 4: money to the. Widows, sorry you killed our, Terrorist.
- 21:35Speaker 3: We're going to give you.
- 21:36Speaker 4: MONEY, aoc of, course doesn't acknowledge that at, all because
- 21:40Speaker 4: Ideology israel will always be, Bad america will always be,
- 21:45Speaker 4: Bad capitalists will always be, Bad anglos will always be.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Bad and if you have clear Queer, islamists transgender, witches
- 22:00Speaker 4: that that may be the the like height.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Of virtue in the. World you know.
- 22:09Speaker 4: That and you know the amazing thing IS i actually
- 22:12Speaker 4: THINK aoc is one of two front runners for The
- 22:14Speaker 4: democrat nomination in twenty twenty.
- 22:17Speaker 3: EIGHT i think it Is Gavin newsom AND.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Aoc newsom probably is is marginally ahead right, now BUT
- 22:24Speaker 4: Aoc she is the id of The Democrat.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Party and it is not short for idiot but but
- 22:31Speaker 3: but it.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Is she is the like Raw Anger's donnie nationally right.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Now and by the, way let's since since this this,
- 22:41Speaker 4: podcast we make lots of.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Predictions i've, said this.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is my favorite part of the.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Show by the, way when you say you're about to
- 22:46Speaker 2: make a, prediction because if we're keeping, records you've been
- 22:49Speaker 2: Pretty you've been getting on The All star team every,
- 22:52Speaker 2: season so keep.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Going i'm. Ready.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Yeah we tend to.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Do at the end of the, year we go through
- 22:56Speaker 4: the predictions that we made on this podcast and and
- 22:58Speaker 4: we have it in incredibly HIGH i think we're north
- 23:01Speaker 4: of eighty percent of being. Accurate i've said before that
- 23:06Speaker 4: the inaugural member of THE aoc For President committee will
- 23:10Speaker 4: Be Chuck schumer Because schumer is terrified OF aoc primarying
- 23:16Speaker 4: him from the. Left THAT i said, before so that's
- 23:18Speaker 4: not a new. Prediction here's my second. Predict here's the prediction.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Though If schumer succeeds and GETS aoc to run for,
- 23:27Speaker 4: president he, Says, alexander you're much too important to be
- 23:30Speaker 4: a measly little. Senator you need to be in The
- 23:33Speaker 4: oval office with every oleagenious ooz.
- 23:39Speaker 3: He can tell. Her here's my.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Prediction IF aoc runs for, President mondami is going to
- 23:44Speaker 4: run For senate Against Chuck.
- 23:45Speaker 1: SCHUMER i think that's a brilliant.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Prediction and by the, way if that, HAPPENS i think
- 23:52Speaker 4: the odds are greater than fifty. Percent schumer decides not
- 23:55Speaker 4: to run That madamie, Announced schumer may look at it
- 23:59Speaker 4: for a little while and then he's like and he
- 24:02Speaker 4: is a political.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Animal BUT i don't Think schumer can.
- 24:05Speaker 4: WIN i don't Think schumer can BEAT aoc in a,
- 24:07Speaker 4: primary AND i don't Think schumer can Beat montdommie in a.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Primary And, schumer by the, way he doesn't want his
- 24:11Speaker 2: legacy to Be, cuomo, right where all of a sudden
- 24:13Speaker 2: you go from this, big grand job you had for
- 24:15Speaker 2: a long time and all of a sudden you just
- 24:17Speaker 2: flame out at the end and people look at you
- 24:19Speaker 2: as kind of like a.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Disgrace oh, yeah that guy didn't know when to.
- 24:21Speaker 2: LEAVE i Think schumer has has is somewhat Like Nancy,
- 24:25Speaker 2: pelosi where they want to feel like they go out on.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Top, sure you want to go out on. Top by the,
- 24:30Speaker 4: way speaking of. Flaming it is interesting That Barack obama
- 24:34Speaker 4: decided to Flame Donald trump And ice and everyone.
- 24:37Speaker 3: ELSE i don't.
- 24:37Speaker 4: KNOW i guess He's he's sitting there resting on his
- 24:41Speaker 4: hundreds of millions of dollars and just getting angry and
- 24:44Speaker 4: decided he wanted to take some.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Swings so this is.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Interesting and this is Where i've been saying this a
- 24:50Speaker 2: lot over and over, again especially IN. Tv The Democratic
- 24:53Speaker 2: party as a whole is antai law. Enforcement it's not
- 24:57Speaker 2: just the aocs of the. PARTY a perfect example of
- 25:01Speaker 2: this being part of their platform center Is Barack obama
- 25:05Speaker 2: doing a podcast this week and he IS i would,
- 25:08Speaker 2: argue blessing the democratic movement, right The, marxist socialist and.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Communists you've got my. Blessing i'm probably one of the
- 25:15Speaker 2: biggest names of The Democratic, party if not the biggest
- 25:18Speaker 2: name of the elder. Statesman now that people listen, To
- 25:21Speaker 2: i'm giving my blessing that you can ATTACK ice agents.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Now and this is a platform of THE. Dnc.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah, Absolutely, here let's give a listen to what he
- 25:29Speaker 3: had to. Say the rogue.
- 25:31Speaker 9: Behavior of agents of the federal government is deeply concerning and.
- 25:41Speaker 9: Dangerous the sort of behavior that in the past we've
- 25:46Speaker 9: seen in authoritarian countries and we've seen in, dictatorships but
- 25:51Speaker 9: we have not seen In.
- 25:52Speaker 2: AMERICA i, mean you're calling ice agents who are just
- 25:56Speaker 2: enforcing the law rogue. Agents that is from a former
- 26:00Speaker 2: eight year president and the leader of The Democratic.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Party, still, yeah, no that is exactly.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Right by the, way that same message was conveyed By
- 26:08Speaker 4: Gavin newsom In. Munich give a listen To Gavin. Newsom
- 26:11Speaker 4: we'll talk about these two.
- 26:11Speaker 10: Together BUT i want to remember all those images of
- 26:14Speaker 10: masked men the secret, police something familiar In. Germany those
- 26:20Speaker 10: first images came out of my, state the second largest
- 26:23Speaker 10: city in The United states Of. America we saw four
- 26:25Speaker 10: Thousand National guard federalized first, time we never seen anything like,
- 26:29Speaker 10: this and seven hundred active Duty marines sent not, overseas
- 26:33Speaker 10: but to the second largest city in The United states Of,
- 26:35Speaker 10: america militarizing the streets of my. City masked, men masked
- 26:39Speaker 10: men showing up.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Unaccountable let's be very.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Clear at, center that Is Gavin newsom Comparing american law
- 26:45Speaker 2: enforcement To nazis.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Yep, yep which which by the, way is What obama
- 26:51Speaker 4: was doing. Too by the, way just LIKE aoc And.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Whitmer newsom is apparently thoroughly historically. Illiterated he, said we've
- 26:58Speaker 4: never seen national guards federalized in The. STATES i guess
- 27:02Speaker 4: his history book does not discuss the civil rights. Movement
- 27:05Speaker 4: he's never heard of a president Named DWIGHT. D. Eisenhower
- 27:08Speaker 4: he's never heard of sending The National guard Into Southern.
- 27:11Speaker 4: States When democrats who refuse to desegregate schools, Resisted eisenhower
- 27:18Speaker 4: sent the National guard.
- 27:19Speaker 3: In the pattern is the.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Same in this instance you Have democrats who are saying
- 27:23Speaker 4: we refuse to comply with federal immigration. Law then you
- 27:27Speaker 4: had in the fifties and sixties you Had democrats saying
- 27:30Speaker 4: we refuse to comply with civil rights. Law in both,
- 27:33Speaker 4: instances it is lawless democrats attacking law. Enforcement Gavin newsom
- 27:40Speaker 4: is proudly following the tradition Of Bull, connor Another democrat.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Politician the demonizing of law enforcement is central to who they,
- 27:49Speaker 4: are central to who the party. Is and NOW i
- 27:53Speaker 4: want you to listen To Barack obama in this, podcast
- 27:55Speaker 4: because he does a judo move that that that is
- 28:01Speaker 4: Classic Barack.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Obama give a.
- 28:03Speaker 5: Listen the other side does the mean angry, domagogy you,
- 28:11Speaker 5: know exclusive us, them.
- 28:15Speaker 9: You, know divisive. Politics that's, there that's that's their home. Court,
- 28:22Speaker 9: yeah our court is.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Coming.
- 28:27Speaker 9: Together our court Is, look you know a great. Example
- 28:31Speaker 9: wasn't political bad bunnies halftimes.
- 28:35Speaker 5: You're going to say, That, well it.
- 28:37Speaker 9: Was it. Resonated it was smart because it wasn't, preaching
- 28:45Speaker 9: it was. Showing it was demonstrating and displaying this is
- 28:49Speaker 9: what a community.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Is by the, WAY i love that he's just admitting, there,
- 28:52Speaker 2: yes this is a smart political move to have a
- 28:54Speaker 2: political statement at the Super bowl during. Halftime he's admitting
- 28:59Speaker 2: what we were, saying that it was a political, decision
- 29:02Speaker 2: and he's, like it's a brilliant political operative move for
- 29:04Speaker 2: THE nfl to do.
- 29:05Speaker 4: This, well, LOOK i mentioned that What obama was doing
- 29:09Speaker 4: there is, judo and judo is flipping and using your
- 29:13Speaker 4: opponent's weight against you against. Them but it is also
- 29:19Speaker 4: it is Classic. Orwellian it is accusing the other side
- 29:22Speaker 4: of doing what you are. Doing Barack, OBAMA i think
- 29:26Speaker 4: in any fair, history he will not go down in
- 29:28Speaker 4: history as this because most historians are, leftists so they
- 29:30Speaker 4: will carve him Into Mount. Rushmore but but if you
- 29:34Speaker 4: were fairly assessing his. Legacy he is one of the
- 29:37Speaker 4: most bitterly partisan leaders our country has ever. Had AND
- 29:41Speaker 4: i think much of the, rage the anger we have
- 29:46Speaker 4: of the two sides screaming at each, other finds its
- 29:49Speaker 4: origins in The obama. Presidency AND i got to, SAY
- 29:53Speaker 4: i my principal reaction to that is is one of
- 29:57Speaker 4: regret of the lost. Opportunity, Listen baraco was elected as
- 30:02Speaker 4: the First African american president ever for a country that
- 30:05Speaker 4: that that that for a century plus had. Slavery to
- 30:12Speaker 4: elect a black president was a big damn. Deal And
- 30:16Speaker 4: obama was given by history the opportunity to be what
- 30:21Speaker 4: he claimed to, be to be coming, together to be
- 30:23Speaker 4: a healing, president and he chose just the.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Opposite he.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Chose he chose to just rub salt in the racial
- 30:30Speaker 4: wounds to. Divide if you remember early on The Beer
- 30:33Speaker 4: Somebody had where he demonized law. Enforcement right at the
- 30:36Speaker 4: beginning of his, presidency you remember he described people in
- 30:40Speaker 4: small towns In america as quote bitter and angry and clinging.
- 30:44Speaker 3: To Their god and their.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Guns do you Remember Michelle obama saying that When Barack
- 30:49Speaker 4: obama was elected president was the first time she'd ever.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Been An american.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Country, yeah but.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Like it, is and if you look at the fruit.
- 30:59Speaker 4: LISTEN i believe That Barack obama fundamentally is A. Marxist
- 31:04Speaker 4: he was just a few years ahead of me At
- 31:06Speaker 4: Harvard Law. School we did not, overlap BUT i think
- 31:09Speaker 4: he is steeped in Cultural. Marxism, now when he was,
- 31:14Speaker 4: president he was not vocal about all of that because
- 31:17Speaker 4: the country at the time was not ready for. It
- 31:20Speaker 4: BUT i THINK aoc is the spiritual grandchild Of Barack.
- 31:25Speaker 4: OBAMA i Think mandami is the spiritual grandchild Of Barack.
- 31:30Speaker 4: Obama and as you AND i have talked about on
- 31:32Speaker 4: the pod, before during The biden, presidency maybe the most
- 31:35Speaker 4: frequent QUESTION i got asked is who is running? Things
- 31:40Speaker 4: and the really terrifying, ANSWER i, don't in fact. KNOW
- 31:46Speaker 4: i know it Wasn't Joe. Biden he did not have
- 31:48Speaker 4: the capacity to make. Decisions everyone knew, that The democrats
- 31:51Speaker 4: all knew, that everyone knew, that the press knew, that
- 31:53Speaker 4: they just didn't report on. IT i don't, Know but
- 31:57Speaker 4: my theory is the person who was right unning things
- 32:00Speaker 4: is the guy who we just. PLAYED i Think Barack
- 32:03Speaker 4: obama was the grand puppet. Master he had a bunch
- 32:06Speaker 4: of young apparachicks who are Little marxists that were his
- 32:09Speaker 4: former staffers in The White. House and the open borders
- 32:13Speaker 4: we saw that Was Barack obama's. Intention the RADICAL, dei
- 32:20Speaker 4: the demonization of law, enforcement all of that is the
- 32:24Speaker 4: fruits Of, obama by the, way the disastrous foreign, policy
- 32:28Speaker 4: the embrace Of, Iran.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Iran sending cash on pallets literally.
- 32:32Speaker 4: And, Listen obama sent one point seven billion dollars of
- 32:36Speaker 4: cash on pallets and planes in the middle of the.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Night Joe biden said hold my beer and flowed one
- 32:43Speaker 4: hundred billion dollars To. Iran, now WHEN i Say Joe
- 32:45Speaker 4: biden said, it really the person who said hold my
- 32:48Speaker 4: beer Was Barack. Obama he, said, Now i'm just really
- 32:51Speaker 4: gonna do it using the Puppet. Biden but for him
- 32:56Speaker 4: to Accuse republicans the Bit obama has shown over and
- 33:02Speaker 4: over and over again as he's using. Rhetoric you, know
- 33:06Speaker 4: he's just Demonized ice and called them called federal law
- 33:10Speaker 4: enforcement agents to talitarian. Agents and then he, says, gosh
- 33:14Speaker 4: it's the other side that's, me not like. Us and
- 33:18Speaker 4: actually the word THAT i love that he says in that.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Little clip is.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Exclusionary the right is, exclusionary and that's such a total.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Lie it is the left that is. Vicious you must.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Believe in in in.
- 33:32Speaker 4: In exactly their, orthodoxy or you are. Excommunicated look at
- 33:37Speaker 4: look at j K. Rowling Jk, rowling who by any
- 33:41Speaker 4: measure is politically on the. Left but she has this
- 33:44Speaker 4: crazy view that that women, exist and that to the
- 33:51Speaker 4: intolerant leftist is unacceptable and she must be. Canceled and
- 33:56Speaker 4: you look at all of, these these These hollywood ninnies
- 33:59Speaker 4: who were in The Harry potter, movies who won't associate with.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Her she literally made she made them.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Millions of dollars from when they were.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Children and they are too their virtue is too great
- 34:12Speaker 4: to be seen in the same. Room and by the,
- 34:15Speaker 4: Way Barack, obama in addition to being a hardcore, leftist
- 34:22Speaker 4: AND i think much of his worldview as actually anti
- 34:24Speaker 4: colonialist if you look at it's why he Hates, israel
- 34:29Speaker 4: because he Views israel as a colonial. Power and it's
- 34:33Speaker 4: why fundamentally he doesn't Believe american power is. Legitimate you,
- 34:38Speaker 4: know he was asked as, president do you believe In american?
- 34:41Speaker 4: Exceptionalism he, says, SURE i do just like The greeks
- 34:44Speaker 4: believe In greek exceptionalism and The british believe In british,
- 34:47Speaker 4: exceptionalism which is to, say, no he does, not Because
- 34:51Speaker 4: american exceptionalism is recognizing there's.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Something unique and extraordinary in The United states Of.
- 34:57Speaker 4: America there's never been a nation in the history of
- 35:00Speaker 4: mankind that has been a greater force for good on
- 35:02Speaker 4: Planet earth in The United states Of. America and lightning
- 35:06Speaker 4: would Strike Barack obama before he could utter that.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Sentence, yeah you're absolutely right, there all.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Right last week before we wrap, CENTER i just think
- 35:13Speaker 2: it's time for us to just say we told the,
- 35:16Speaker 2: left so we told everybody this was going to be government,
- 35:19Speaker 2: work no doubt about the sewage problem pouring into The.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Potomac don't, worry it's going to be around for what
- 35:25Speaker 2: another nine, months is what they're saying.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Now, yeah we covered on the last, pod how over
- 35:30Speaker 4: a billion gallons of, sewage the largest spill of wastewater
- 35:34Speaker 4: In american history is happening IN dc And maryland into
- 35:38Speaker 4: The Potomac. River democrats are really bad at. Government they
- 35:42Speaker 4: want government to be the answer of, everything but that
- 35:44Speaker 4: they can't run a hot dog stand, well D C
- 35:48Speaker 4: water says it will now take another nine, months nine
- 35:52Speaker 4: months to fix the sewer.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Pipe that's just.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Staggering if anyone were remotely, competent you would fix it in,
- 36:03Speaker 4: days not in nine. Months but you've got democrats in,
- 36:06Speaker 4: charge so nine months they will continue spewing human refuse
- 36:11Speaker 4: into the. Water and the amazing thing is The potomac
- 36:15Speaker 4: is going right by the mansions In georgetown where you
- 36:18Speaker 4: have all the liberal, lobbyists and so they will get
- 36:21Speaker 4: a reminder every day of just how ineffective democrats are
- 36:25Speaker 4: at running.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Stuff no doubt about. It don't.
