- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, Ain't God been
- 2:16Speaker 1: good to me? Wow? But then again, ain't He been
- 2:22Speaker 1: good to you too? Though? I mean really, man, Think
- 2:25Speaker 1: of all the blessings God has given you. Think of
- 2:28Speaker 1: all the things He's done for you, things that you
- 2:30Speaker 1: ask for, things that you didn't ask for, things that
- 2:33Speaker 1: you was expecting. Being all about all of the unexpected blessings. Man,
- 2:38Speaker 1: he just keeps coming with it, don't it. You know what?
- 2:41Speaker 1: That's some good news today, though, y'all. You know, in
- 2:43Speaker 1: the in the face of all the world being the
- 2:47Speaker 1: way it is, the the evilness that's out there, it
- 2:50Speaker 1: just it just seems like that's all that's on the
- 2:53Speaker 1: news sometimes. You know, we got we got news of
- 2:56Speaker 1: parents not really standing up being parents. We got news
- 2:59Speaker 1: stories of children turning on their parents. You got, you
- 3:02Speaker 1: got everything the economy, you got places you thought you
- 3:06Speaker 1: uhould be beautiful places to go. Now they got travel alerts.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's just it's all over. It's it's all over. But
- 3:13Speaker 1: the good news is that's something that you can have
- 3:19Speaker 1: in this relationship with God that gives you a way
- 3:24Speaker 1: to deal with it all. And I'm not saying that
- 3:27Speaker 1: it'll protect you from every single thing out that is happening,
- 3:31Speaker 1: because some things are going to happen to you. You're
- 3:34Speaker 1: going to be in an accident from time to time.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You're going to make a mistake and fall down from
- 3:40Speaker 1: time to time. But man, wouldn't it be incredible to
- 3:43Speaker 1: you for you if you understood that you had some
- 3:47Speaker 1: insurance in all of this that no matter what happened
- 3:51Speaker 1: to you, you know you will cover it. You know, look,
- 3:53Speaker 1: insurance companies as good as they are, you know, like
- 3:56Speaker 1: our friends that stay farm or any other insurance company.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You know they do, they do some amazing things. Insurance
- 4:03Speaker 1: is a really really good thing to happen in the
- 4:05Speaker 1: event that something happens to you. You know, you may
- 4:08Speaker 1: not want to pay the premium, but guess what in
- 4:11Speaker 1: the event that something happens to you, that insurance is
- 4:14Speaker 1: absolutely critical. Well, but guess what They cover certain things.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You could get life insurance, you can get auto insurance,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you can get accident insurance, you can get health insurance.
- 4:28Speaker 1: There is nothing that you can buy to safeguard you
- 4:33Speaker 1: against life's decisions. You know, if you make a mistake,
- 4:39Speaker 1: if you cheat, if you lie, if you if you
- 4:44Speaker 1: fall down and you can't seem to get it together
- 4:47Speaker 1: and you make a crazy decision about how you're gonna
- 4:50Speaker 1: go about securing an income, that there are there are
- 4:54Speaker 1: no policies you can buy for that. You can't buy
- 4:57Speaker 1: a policy. If you stop being the man you're supposed
- 5:01Speaker 1: to be and and and give up on your children,
- 5:04Speaker 1: you can't buy a policy. Is something happens as a
- 5:08Speaker 1: mother and all of a sudden you're not the mother
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're supposed to be, But there is some insurance coverage
- 5:14Speaker 1: out there for you, and that relationship that you form
- 5:19Speaker 1: with God, that friendship that you form with him, that
- 5:23Speaker 1: that alliance that you that that partnership, that that prayer
- 5:27Speaker 1: that you put in all the time. There is an
- 5:31Speaker 1: insurance policy that you have taken out when you form
- 5:35Speaker 1: a relationship with your heavenly Father, when you form a friendship,
- 5:39Speaker 1: when you form a bond that protects you, that protects
- 5:44Speaker 1: you when these things happen in the event that they happen.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Now here's a great thing about prayer. Prayer can head
- 5:52Speaker 1: off some stuff from happening. It really really can. Prayer
- 5:56Speaker 1: can prevent some things from happening. You know, I'll give
- 5:59Speaker 1: you example in my life. Okay, here we go, because
- 6:02Speaker 1: see this is the best way for me to do it.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Because see what I don't like to do is talk
- 6:07Speaker 1: to people without letting them know. Hey, look I'm in
- 6:10Speaker 1: this hole with you. I feel where yet? Okay, here
- 6:13Speaker 1: we go. I was making some decisions a few years
- 6:17Speaker 1: ago because what I thought I was doing was counterbalancing
- 6:22Speaker 1: something that was happening in my life. You know, I
- 6:25Speaker 1: thought that since I wasn't happy, or for whatever the
- 6:31Speaker 1: reason I thought I wasn't happy, if I, as wrong
- 6:34Speaker 1: as I am, wanted to blame somebody else from my unhappiness.
- 6:37Speaker 1: That's that's really if if I make a bad decision
- 6:41Speaker 1: because I'm thinking I'm unhappy with somebody hold a partner.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Two wrongs don't make it right, and I make a
- 6:47Speaker 1: decision to do something wrong, and now the consequences come
- 6:52Speaker 1: when I do something wrong. See then that I already
- 6:56Speaker 1: know as an intelligent thinking man, as most of you are,
- 7:00Speaker 1: that when you do something wrong, that you know there
- 7:04Speaker 1: is a consequence for that. I teach that to my sons.
- 7:07Speaker 1: When you do something wrong, there as a consequence. So
- 7:09Speaker 1: as an adult, I fully understood the consequence. And so
- 7:13Speaker 1: what I was doing was I was making some decisions
- 7:16Speaker 1: that was causing some consequences in my life that was
- 7:19Speaker 1: delaying my happiness, delaying my progress, causing my business not
- 7:24Speaker 1: to go the way it could go, so forth and
- 7:27Speaker 1: so on. Well, what I started doing was I took
- 7:30Speaker 1: out this insurance policy called Prayer, and I started putting
- 7:34Speaker 1: it in my mix on a daily basis. And then
- 7:36Speaker 1: I started putting it in my mix, you know, two
- 7:39Speaker 1: three times a day. And then I found myself using
- 7:42Speaker 1: it all the time. And then I really started putting
- 7:45Speaker 1: it in when I didn't need any help. When I
- 7:47Speaker 1: wasn't in trouble, I started putting insurance in. I started
- 7:51Speaker 1: making deposits into the bank. I started paying my premiums down.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And prayer is like a premium, you just pay into it.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Then when situations started coming up, now it that prayer
- 8:04Speaker 1: that I had put in that in those premiums I
- 8:06Speaker 1: had paid, it started preventing me from making the decisions
- 8:10Speaker 1: I was making in the past. Thus I didn't have
- 8:13Speaker 1: to suffer the consequences. Thus my businesses didn't have to
- 8:18Speaker 1: be delayed in this progress. Because I had put some
- 8:21Speaker 1: payments on some premiums. I had taken out an insurance policy.
- 8:25Speaker 1: With my life, my real life. I'm talking about your
- 8:29Speaker 1: life where you make your day to day decisions in
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'm not talking about see life. Insurance is only good
- 8:35Speaker 1: if you die. God has a policy that's avaisable, that's
- 8:39Speaker 1: available for you. Why are you living? See? In order
- 8:44Speaker 1: for an insurance policy to pay, something bad got to happen.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now that may be some others out there I don't
- 8:50Speaker 1: know nothing about, but all the ones I got my
- 8:53Speaker 1: car insurance, they only come into play if I have
- 8:56Speaker 1: an accident. I have an accident insurance policy. If something
- 9:00Speaker 1: happens to me. I got accident, I got I got
- 9:04Speaker 1: my voices covered in case something happened to that. I
- 9:07Speaker 1: got that, but but I got to not be able
- 9:09Speaker 1: to talk to cash that one. You understand everything. Myn
- 9:13Speaker 1: got homeowners insurance. Don't nothing show up on my homeowners
- 9:17Speaker 1: insurance unless it's a flood or fire or thell. Something
- 9:22Speaker 1: bad got to happen for my insurance to even make sense.
- 9:27Speaker 1: When you take out the policy with with your heavenly father,
- 9:31Speaker 1: when you pay the premiums of prayer, and that's all
- 9:34Speaker 1: it costs, man, it ain't you. Ain't got to have
- 9:36Speaker 1: no money for this policy. I put into the policy.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It pays me dividends and benefits for living. Ain't nothing
- 9:48Speaker 1: got to go wrong for me to cash in on
- 9:50Speaker 1: this policy. I use this policy for good things. I
- 9:57Speaker 1: give you an example. I used this policy to ask
- 10:00Speaker 1: God to watch over my family when I travel. I
- 10:03Speaker 1: use this policy to ask God to bless my sons
- 10:07Speaker 1: on their journey into manhood. He covers me. I ask
- 10:11Speaker 1: God to help make my dreams come true with this policy.
- 10:15Speaker 1: He covers me. I ask God for the desires of
- 10:19Speaker 1: my heart. He give them to me. I ask God
- 10:22Speaker 1: to leading God and protect me and keep me from
- 10:24Speaker 1: making stupid decisions like I used to make. He's all right, Pardner,
- 10:29Speaker 1: stop doing this, stop doing that now. Guess what. I'm
- 10:33Speaker 1: not perfect, Steve Harvey long away from being perfect. I
- 10:36Speaker 1: never claim perfection. Man, Listen to me, y'all, make the
- 10:40Speaker 1: decisions to pay your premiums in prayer. Talk to your
- 10:44Speaker 1: heavenly father, get you some issuance in your life. And
- 10:47Speaker 1: when you have little things like that, keep on stepping man.
- 10:50Speaker 1: God loves you. Man, Man, I show hope you talk
- 10:53Speaker 1: to God today because guess what he show would like
- 10:55Speaker 1: to hear from you. That's for showing. Show. Ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 11:03Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. Please, are you listening to it?
- 11:08Speaker 1: This is it? Make no mistake who you are. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 1: this is it? Right God, this is Kenny Loggins kind

- 11:36Speaker 1: so oh yes you can't. I mean I sing along,
- 11:39Speaker 1: but I probably can't name the man. But Mom talked

- 17:40Speaker 1: They was in there with the black people. They didn't
- 17:41Speaker 1: even know the black people with them, gonna. Everybody had
- 17:43Speaker 1: mud on it. I slid down with two white girls myself.

- 18:24Speaker 1: something wrong with me. I ain't even gonna do the
- 18:32Speaker 1: You wrote that now, I wrote, I wrote. You didn't
- 18:35Speaker 1: actually know how the song came about to do. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: was with Joe Lavert Old for you. I knew his
- 18:42Speaker 1: daddy Eddy, you know, and I knew his granddaddy. What
- 18:47Speaker 1: was his granddadd's name? Every Verte of course they called
- 18:53Speaker 1: him Vertel for short verte, that veel, that a little
- 18:56Speaker 1: verte for a backward And we didn't a bad room.
- 18:59Speaker 1: He wrote on with Gerald or gal Gerald, and then
- 19:06Speaker 1: Gerald sold it the beard that I did, that was
- 19:11Speaker 1: the truth to it. You know, any new songs, Rosco, No,

- 19:39Speaker 1: her with? But which one you want with? Name a song?
- 19:42Speaker 1: M yeah, both them? Single lady. You are right about
- 19:49Speaker 1: single ladies, and you are a man. You wout that
- 19:53Speaker 1: because you know, I knew that so many women was
- 19:55Speaker 1: going through it, and so I add Beyonce were all
- 19:59Speaker 1: the single lady? Is that? And then Beyonce said single
- 20:02Speaker 1: lady And then I said yeah, single lady. She said
- 20:05Speaker 1: single lady. Yeah. And then I asked again. She she,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I said, well where a single She said, we had
- 20:11Speaker 1: a single lady, and I'll be damned next same where
- 20:14Speaker 1: the single ladys? Where the single lady? Where the single
- 20:18Speaker 1: lad And I said, put your hands up? And they
- 20:21Speaker 1: that when them here for sady, I mean beyond. I
- 20:26Speaker 1: think we got something here to the left, to the left.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Put all your stuff in the box you added off
- 20:32Speaker 1: to the left. I can get another one of you
- 20:35Speaker 1: in a minute. You better believe I damn what they said?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Why you why why you didn't write it to put
- 20:40Speaker 1: it to the right and not the let to the left.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You don't go to the right for more people right hand.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I want to make it hard food and get that
- 20:46Speaker 1: stuff out of the bat She put on right side,
- 20:49Speaker 1: and then you know, put on the left side, more people,
- 20:51Speaker 1: more people, right head and hard to get that stuff
- 20:53Speaker 1: about the box with your left hand, now, Steve, left handed.
- 20:56Speaker 1: That's why I wrote it because I'm left headed. You
- 20:58Speaker 1: know when I put it to the left, to me
- 21:00Speaker 1: that right? Okay, Gean, if you put my stuff to
- 21:03Speaker 1: the left, I wanted to be over to the left.

- 29:44Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 29:50Speaker 1: All right. In today's entertainment news, New England Patriots owner
- 29:54Speaker 1: Robert Kraft has just gotten a get out of jail

- 30:01Speaker 1: deal that would essentially erase the solicit chargings against him,
- 30:05Speaker 1: solicitation charges against him. Uh, if he admits his guilt,
- 30:09Speaker 1: they'll delay prosecution. If he admits, yeah, he's got admitted though, Okay,
- 30:14Speaker 1: an nobody admitting no moto uh huh. And if he
- 30:16Speaker 1: submits to screening for sexually transmitted diseases, If he submits
- 30:20Speaker 1: to that, if he completes an education course about prostitution
- 30:25Speaker 1: and does one hundred hours of community service, they say
- 30:28Speaker 1: they'll dismiss the billionaire the law just because he owned
- 30:36Speaker 1: a football. But the president is all I'm saying, call it.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Ain't nobody admitting them right now, right, ain't just it,
- 30:46Speaker 1: ain't emitting name, Ain't nobody admitting to anything, nothing, nothing
- 30:50Speaker 1: hanging there. So fighting craft, as you know, with charge
- 30:55Speaker 1: last month with solicitation of prostitution last month out of
- 30:59Speaker 1: Florida South at a South Florida day spot that was
- 31:02Speaker 1: under surveillance for alleged human sex trafficking. That is a
- 31:06Speaker 1: very serious charge. If he's convicted, Craft has until March
- 31:11Speaker 1: twenty eighth, that's when the hearing is. He has until
- 31:14Speaker 1: then to decide what he's going to do. Oh wait, wait, wait,
- 31:17Speaker 1: hold on, is they saying he involved in the sex trafficking. Well,
- 31:20Speaker 1: that's what was going on at this day spot. They're saying,
- 31:23Speaker 1: and he was in there soliciting prostitute. Okay, okay, I'm
- 31:28Speaker 1: just saying this. That's that's real serious, serious, it's real
- 31:32Speaker 1: serious charges. That's what I'm saying. Loved the law brought.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Oh he ain't, will be in no games next season. Julia,
- 31:40Speaker 1: this is down there by, this is West Palm Beach,
- 31:42Speaker 1: this is yeah, And Juniper Jupiter. I'm sorry, Jupiter Jupiter, Florida. Yeah,
- 31:51Speaker 1: he just gone and talked to Brady do the founding. Well,
- 31:55Speaker 1: I mean, you know, and we can't forget that he
- 31:57Speaker 1: has enough money to buy the best defense in the country,
- 32:02Speaker 1: in the world. Okay, he had the best muddey, let
- 32:06Speaker 1: me stay what I'm just saying. Well, anyway, again, his
- 32:12Speaker 1: um His hearing is March twenty eighth, so he has
- 32:15Speaker 1: from now until then to decide what he's going to
- 32:17Speaker 1: do if he's going to accept the plee offer, the
- 32:20Speaker 1: plea deal. Now, this was the day before the playoff
- 32:23Speaker 1: game with the Chiefs, right yeah, yeah, you watch the news,
- 32:27Speaker 1: you know, so you left, Well he left New the
- 32:31Speaker 1: ain't got no spars in New England. He took a
- 32:34Speaker 1: private jet down to Judeh, Florida, and then go to
- 32:36Speaker 1: Kansas City. That that right there seems suspicious to be
- 32:42Speaker 1: in other news. Uh, he starts and Ray Donovan and
- 32:45Speaker 1: he's the former start of the game. I'm talking about
- 32:47Speaker 1: Marrigan Pooch hallo. Yeah, he won't have to do any
- 32:50Speaker 1: jail time for his alarming d u I. This ended
- 32:54Speaker 1: with him wrecking his car while his baby was in
- 32:57Speaker 1: the car. Pooch struck a deal with prosecutors. He entered
- 33:01Speaker 1: a no contest plea to misdemeanor DUI and two child
- 33:05Speaker 1: endangerment for the d UI. His sentence is three years
- 33:08Speaker 1: probation and a three month alcohol program. He admitted it. Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Pooch Hall was charged with felony child abuse and DUI
- 33:16Speaker 1: back in October after a witness saw him driving with
- 33:18Speaker 1: his toddler in his lap and holding the steering wheel.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Pooch won't do any time for child endangerment. The deal
- 33:25Speaker 1: calls for him to complete a one year parenting class
- 33:27Speaker 1: and if he does, the charges will be dismissed. Well
- 33:30Speaker 1: that's good. Yeah, let's stop. Yeah, you're doing a good
- 33:33Speaker 1: job on the show man. Yeah, he's a good Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 1: His life off the show. Yeah, all right, time for
- 33:44Speaker 1: the headlines now Steve. Ladies and gentlemen, miss a trip.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Thanks Steve, Thanks everybody. This is entered for the news.
- 33:51Speaker 1: A very rare and powerful cyclone slammed its way into
- 33:55Speaker 1: southern Africa. Whole villages have been ravaged, some submerged, roads
- 33:58Speaker 1: and bridges completely wah out. More than two hundred people
- 34:01Speaker 1: are reportedly killed across Malawi and Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Authorities
- 34:05Speaker 1: say the deathful quotop one thousand officials and anevolence who
- 34:10Speaker 1: put the country on high alert after Monday's shootings. Authorities
- 34:12Speaker 1: say that the man used the semi automatic rifle to
- 34:15Speaker 1: open fire on a tram in the city of Utrecht.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Three people killed, five injured, and now at least three
- 34:20Speaker 1: suspects under arrest. The suspected shooter, they say, is a
- 34:23Speaker 1: thirty seven year old Turkish national who's being held on
- 34:26Speaker 1: Manslow to charges with a possible terrorist motive. President Trump
- 34:30Speaker 1: says all ideas are still on the table where concerns
- 34:33Speaker 1: how to react to the situation in Venezuela, where President
- 34:36Speaker 1: Nicholas Mduau continues fighting off a potential coup. Trump suggests
- 34:40Speaker 1: to reporters yesterday that the US could impose tougher sanctions,
- 34:43Speaker 1: but he adds if the situation is still somewhat fluid,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm not being told any specific time. They've been there
- 34:49Speaker 1: a long time between him and his predecessor. At some
- 34:53Speaker 1: point I would imagine things will change. But we really
- 34:57Speaker 1: haven't done the really tough sanctions yet. We can do
- 35:00Speaker 1: the tough sanctions, and all options are Trump was hosting
- 35:03Speaker 1: the president of Brazil, by the way, and the President
- 35:05Speaker 1: Brazil agreed with Trump. By the way. Zaire Ballsonaro is
- 35:08Speaker 1: told the Trump of the Tropics because apparently he and
- 35:11Speaker 1: the Dawn Donald seemed to share the same ideological and
- 35:14Speaker 1: political ideas, and that includes a huge disdain for the media.
- 35:18Speaker 1: The petrochemical fire near Houston that could threaten the air
- 35:22Speaker 1: and the area has spread to the Incontinental Terminal Company
- 35:26Speaker 1: in Deer Park, Texas, where the blaze is at its
- 35:29Speaker 1: storage site and engulfing two more large tanks. The fire
- 35:31Speaker 1: broke out Sunday and then spread to steel containers holding
- 35:35Speaker 1: large quantities of chemical products. At last or fourth though
- 35:38Speaker 1: the air quality remained within acceptable level. That's what they're
- 35:41Speaker 1: saying now. Francis Aviation Accidents Bureau meanwhiles as Is transferred
- 35:45Speaker 1: data from the black boxes aboard last week's ill fated
- 35:47Speaker 1: Ethiopian flight to the Ethiopian authorities. The black boxes, of
- 35:51Speaker 1: course record things like the jet speed, its altitude, engine power,
- 35:55Speaker 1: and investigators have concluded that there are similarities in operation
- 35:58Speaker 1: between the downed Ethiopian flight and the Indonesian flight that
- 36:02Speaker 1: crashed about five months ago. And get this, the US
- 36:04Speaker 1: Department of Transportation says it's watchdog agency intends to review
- 36:09Speaker 1: just how the FAA was certifying these Bowing seven thirty
- 36:13Speaker 1: seven Max planes before they were grounded after two of
- 36:15Speaker 1: them crashed. Investigators are checking to see if the Max's
- 36:18Speaker 1: automated flight control system maybe to blame. They also want
- 36:21Speaker 1: to know why it seems that bowing people were inspecting
- 36:25Speaker 1: their own planes. There was no other agency taking a
- 36:27Speaker 1: look at them. By the way, since we're talking about
- 36:30Speaker 1: different things than French folks, it's French language days. Take
- 36:34Speaker 1: it away, Eartha, there's a demo. Now back to the
- 36:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the show. After
- 36:45Speaker 1: the heartbreaking story of a single mother of four who
- 36:48Speaker 1: was shot to death and Georgia caught the attention of
- 36:52Speaker 1: actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry, Tyler Perry reached out to
- 36:56Speaker 1: help police believe forty five year old Tinese Evans, her
- 37:01Speaker 1: boyfriend fifty eight year old Othniel Innis killed her Saturday
- 37:06Speaker 1: morning at a bank near Atlanta in Alpharetta. Yeah, Tyler
- 37:12Speaker 1: Perry has offered his financial support to help the family.
- 37:16Speaker 1: According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Tyler Is offered to
- 37:20Speaker 1: pay the family's rent, arranged for a Tennisha's body to
- 37:24Speaker 1: be flown to Wisconsin for her burial, and Tyler has
- 37:28Speaker 1: offered to cover her eighteen year old daughter's college tuition
- 37:31Speaker 1: at Spellman. Yeah, this is really really nice thing, a
- 37:35Speaker 1: nice thing that he did. According to multiple reports, miss
- 37:38Speaker 1: Evans was an author who worked full time in the
- 37:41Speaker 1: healthcare industry. She fell on hard times and her on
- 37:46Speaker 1: and off boyfriend othnil Nis offered to help. Earlier on Sunday,
- 37:51Speaker 1: Miss Evans dropped one of her daughters off at the
- 37:53Speaker 1: grocery store before she went to meet Ennis at the
- 37:56Speaker 1: bank to withdraw some cash, and that's when he shot
- 37:59Speaker 1: and killed her. Wow. Yeah, uh yeah. No one knows
- 38:03Speaker 1: why an armed witness held uh that held in a
- 38:08Speaker 1: at gunpoint until the police arrived. Wow. That is a horrible,
- 38:13Speaker 1: horrible story. But thank God for Tyler Perry to help,
- 38:17Speaker 1: you know. W Yeah, why this is your man? Man,
- 38:22Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. Yeah yeah. It was um
- 38:27Speaker 1: on and off boyfriend relationship. So it seems like he
- 38:30Speaker 1: lured her to the bank, Yeah yeah, to offer to help,
- 38:34Speaker 1: to give her some money. She dropped her daughter off
- 38:36Speaker 1: at the grocery store and then he gets to the
- 38:39Speaker 1: bank and then he kills this woman in the parking
- 38:43Speaker 1: lot of the bank. This is it's just unbelieving, senseless.
- 38:48Speaker 1: What is going on. This is heartbreaking, Steve. That's like,
- 38:55Speaker 1: you know, you know, it's moments like this man. Well,
- 39:00Speaker 1: our judicial system, Um, I mean, look, I know this
- 39:06Speaker 1: as American. I'm just talking from my heart right now,
- 39:09Speaker 1: probably my head would probably wouldn't even say nothing like this.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I don't guess, but you know, you know, I've been
- 39:16Speaker 1: around the world and down some places, man, where you
- 39:20Speaker 1: do something like this, ain't no trial. We you did this.
- 39:24Speaker 1: We know you did it. All the evidence of that footage,
- 39:28Speaker 1: we got everything. This is it. We we we We're
- 39:31Speaker 1: not We're not having no trial for you. You're not
- 39:34Speaker 1: getting no state of paid lawyer. You're not gonna present
- 39:38Speaker 1: your case when can. I'm about you being crazy? You
- 39:42Speaker 1: were around. Yeah, the jorters have started a go fund
- 39:46Speaker 1: me page to help with funeral expenses and other pills.
- 39:49Speaker 1: And coming up at thirty four after the hour of
- 39:51Speaker 1: Steve President Trump. Oh, man, this John McCain thing that
- 39:58Speaker 1: he's on. He's still on it. We'll be back right
- 40:00Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 40:05Speaker 1: President Trump continues, i mean, continues to tear down late
- 40:09Speaker 1: Senator John McCain. On Saturday, Trump tweeted that mister McCain
- 40:14Speaker 1: was involved in sharing parts of the dossier that allegedly
- 40:18Speaker 1: ties Trump, you know, to the Russian government. He followed
- 40:21Speaker 1: up that night with another tweet criticizing McCain for voting
- 40:25Speaker 1: against the Affordable Care Act Obamacare. Then on Sunday, the
- 40:29Speaker 1: President tweeted again with the false claim that McCain was
- 40:33Speaker 1: last in his class at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.
- 40:37Speaker 1: John McCain's daughter Megan McCain, she's one of the co
- 40:40Speaker 1: hosts of the View of Course. She clapped back at
- 40:43Speaker 1: Donald Trump on Monday, saying that he is leading a
- 40:46Speaker 1: pathetic life and she feels sorry for him. Take a
- 40:49Speaker 1: listen to this. Listen. He spends his weekend obsessing over
- 40:52Speaker 1: great men. Because he knows it, and I know it,
- 40:54Speaker 1: and all of you know it. He will never be
- 40:56Speaker 1: a great man. Yeah, your life is spent on your weekends,
- 40:59Speaker 1: not with your family, not with your friends, but obsessing,
- 41:03Speaker 1: obsessing over great men you could never live up to.
- 41:06Speaker 1: That tells you everything you need to know about his
- 41:08Speaker 1: pathetic life. Friend. I genuinely feel bad for his family. Yeah. Yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 1: but you know what, man, that's amazing that he would
- 41:20Speaker 1: attack John McCain saying that he was last in the
- 41:24Speaker 1: Naval Academy. The man was a war hero, he was
- 41:27Speaker 1: a prison to war. He paid a debt to his country,
- 41:31Speaker 1: just like so many millions of other men and women
- 41:34Speaker 1: have done. And this president avoided to Vietnam War by
- 41:39Speaker 1: creating foot spurs that have been bone spurs in his
- 41:43Speaker 1: foot that they can't find no medical records of. Really, yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: he avoided the Vietnam War. My brother went to Vietnam. Y'all,
- 41:54Speaker 1: y'all go head earned with that death. And that was
- 41:57Speaker 1: a bad war we were in. All wars are bad.
- 42:01Speaker 1: The Gulf War was bad. Anytime you have to take
- 42:04Speaker 1: a life and lose a life, it's bad. The warring
- 42:10Speaker 1: good and the fact that we even have to go
- 42:13Speaker 1: to war is bad. But this man John McCain for
- 42:18Speaker 1: him to be mad at him because he didn't pass
- 42:21Speaker 1: Obamaca because he knew it wasn't right, because he knew
- 42:25Speaker 1: that he didn't want to display so many people from
- 42:29Speaker 1: medical care who finally were able to get it. He
- 42:32Speaker 1: voted his conscious and not his party. Donald Trump, man,
- 42:36Speaker 1: this is the worst president we've ever had. I don't
- 42:39Speaker 1: even know him on the exactly. I don't even know
- 42:43Speaker 1: him this one, but the ones I do know. That
- 42:48Speaker 1: was a time where that didn't matter to me. As
- 42:51Speaker 1: I became more of an adult, I understood the importance
- 42:53Speaker 1: of voting. But when I turned eighteen, I'm missing several elections.
- 42:58Speaker 1: But this man right here, first of all, this is
- 43:01Speaker 1: not how you leave. This is not leadership. This man
- 43:05Speaker 1: is deceased brother. You are attacking brother. He still got
- 43:13Speaker 1: family hire. You don't see that. You don't see that.
- 43:18Speaker 1: But see he going too far. It's some Republicans man,
- 43:22Speaker 1: some who gonna break rank. Who which one of the
- 43:26Speaker 1: senators was McCain's best friend, and now they they made
- 43:33Speaker 1: a tweet and then you're on CNN said he didn't
- 43:37Speaker 1: go far enough with his tweet. But after he tweeted
- 43:39Speaker 1: a negative stuff about McCain, that man that was his friend,
- 43:43Speaker 1: he said, let me set he set to recordstrate about
- 43:46Speaker 1: John McCain. He was this, he made a nice tweet
- 43:48Speaker 1: to his friend, you know, without saying the president is
- 43:53Speaker 1: a wrong, he's a liar. He just right after the
- 43:56Speaker 1: president's tweet, he tweeted about his friend the facts, and
- 44:00Speaker 1: I think that's the best he could do. You know,
- 44:02Speaker 1: you can't just go in here and attack this idiot
- 44:05Speaker 1: because of what he gonna do later on. So the
- 44:08Speaker 1: man saying something, but this is not how you lead
- 44:11Speaker 1: a country of people. It's not how you do it that.
- 44:15Speaker 1: You cannot think this is right, smart, intelligent, moral, or anything.
- 44:21Speaker 1: If you're okay with him doing this right here, it's
- 44:24Speaker 1: really something wrong with you. You should check yourself. Yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 1: Mitt Romney tweeted Steve. He says he can't understand why
- 44:29Speaker 1: the president would once again disparage a man as exemplary
- 44:33Speaker 1: as my friend John McCain. Heroic, courageous, patriotic, honorable, self effacing,
- 44:38Speaker 1: self sacrificing, sympathetic, and driven by duty to family, country,
- 44:43Speaker 1: and God. That's according That's what Mitt Romney tweeted, tweeting, yeah,
- 44:47Speaker 1: his self destruction, Yeah, yourself. Yeah, all right, we gotta
- 44:51Speaker 1: get out of here. This is terrible. Up next, nephew
- 44:55Speaker 1: Timmy's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening Dave
- 44:59Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for
- 45:05Speaker 1: today's subject. I have a little issue with my new man.
- 45:10Speaker 1: But right now, nephew, tell me is here with the
- 45:15Speaker 1: brank phone call. You got a little prank for Paris?
- 45:18Speaker 1: They little too All right, this is sure, y'all ain't
- 45:23Speaker 1: ready for this now call up. Put your seatbelt on goodness, June,
- 45:27Speaker 1: drop up. They're a little buck. Yeah, but where are they?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Where are they? Oh, we're gonna call this man and
- 45:36Speaker 1: we're gonna talk to him because I am the doctor.
- 45:41Speaker 1: This boy run that thank cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 45:45Speaker 1: to reach a Brian. Brian. Yeah, yeah, hey Brian, this
- 45:49Speaker 1: is doctor Jacob. Are you doing today? Yeah? Yeah, I'm
- 45:53Speaker 1: I'm not good. Okay, listen, you actually came in, uh
- 45:57Speaker 1: maybe like two and a half weeks ago here to
- 45:59Speaker 1: my office and got it physical for life insurance. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 46:03Speaker 1: right right, yeah, everything okay, well, yeah, yeah, everything's gonna
- 46:06Speaker 1: be pretty good. I'd like to see if I can
- 46:07Speaker 1: get you to come in and I you know, everything's
- 46:11Speaker 1: gonna be fine, but I got a small procedure we'd
- 46:13Speaker 1: like to do to actually, uh you know right now,
- 46:16Speaker 1: you're not a proof for your life insurance to do
- 46:18Speaker 1: until this procedures done. So if you don't mind coming in,
- 46:21Speaker 1: we we'd like to get you. Jake and Caro. When
- 46:24Speaker 1: can I schedule you to come in like maybe tomorrow
- 46:27Speaker 1: or the following day. Yeah, what kind of procedure is? Well, actually,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard of it. This is
- 46:32Speaker 1: an okayosh for me, No, I got something? What's that's gonn?
- 46:37Speaker 1: What's that? So it's something do with you? Wasn't? No,
- 46:39Speaker 1: that's something doing my eyes? I ain't heard. What's what's that? No? No,
- 46:43Speaker 1: ochayost for me has nothing to do with the eyes, No,
- 46:45Speaker 1: nothing at all. We found a little bit of parasites
- 46:49Speaker 1: in a particular area, and what we want to do
- 46:51Speaker 1: is make sure we just remove it completely and you'll
- 46:55Speaker 1: be fine. You'll get your life insurance here and your
- 46:57Speaker 1: family will be great. So can I get you to
- 46:59Speaker 1: come in tomorrow? Maybe Thursday afternoon? As fine? What what area?
- 47:03Speaker 1: I found a parasite and actually one of your testicles
- 47:06Speaker 1: has some parasite. So what we're gonna do is what's
- 47:09Speaker 1: called a okayoshtromy and okayoshtrimy is actually removing that testicle
- 47:14Speaker 1: completely and then everything gonna be fine. It's all confined
- 47:18Speaker 1: and we'll be able to remove it. You'll be on
- 47:19Speaker 1: your way, you'll get your life insurance and everything will
- 47:21Speaker 1: be fine. Okay, Like I said, can I get can I?
- 47:24Speaker 1: Can I get you to come in tomorrow? What my testicle?
- 47:29Speaker 1: Well only one, only one and it's not going to
- 47:31Speaker 1: take long it's a thirty minute procedure. But we want
- 47:34Speaker 1: to get you to come in tomorrow or the next
- 47:36Speaker 1: day and we get you to what they are you available.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I don't want to say the routine how I got
- 47:41Speaker 1: to remove a test sir. You know what, oftentimes when
- 47:44Speaker 1: people come in for life insurance, these type of things happen.
- 47:47Speaker 1: So we want to get you in and get it
- 47:49Speaker 1: out as quickly as possible. And nah, man, I went
- 47:52Speaker 1: for a routine physical Mayne, I wasn't supposed to be
- 47:55Speaker 1: checking all this extra stuff. Man, I get a parasite
- 47:57Speaker 1: man and my testical. I don't remove a testicle. Man,
- 48:00Speaker 1: I'm twenty five. Man, my wife, may I know kids.
- 48:02Speaker 1: They were trying to be like I got to move
- 48:03Speaker 1: a testicle. Let me say this to you, Brian, You're
- 48:05Speaker 1: gonna be completely fine. You'll be able to create children.
- 48:08Speaker 1: You'll be a a little normal life. You know, you'll
- 48:11Speaker 1: just see um. You won't have all of them, but
- 48:13Speaker 1: you'll have enough to create children. You understand that. Nah,
- 48:17Speaker 1: I mean I can't, Nah, I ain't gonna. I can't
- 48:19Speaker 1: come in for that, Nah, sir. Is there any way
- 48:21Speaker 1: I can get you in the morrow or tomorrow afternoon?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Or the Thursday afternoon, so we can kind of get
- 48:27Speaker 1: this thing taken care of and we can get you
- 48:28Speaker 1: moving on your way and people can get the life
- 48:30Speaker 1: insurance papers together and so forth. Nah, Man, Man, we
- 48:34Speaker 1: ain't rescheduling now. I need a second or third opinion

- 49:08Speaker 1: it's all over. You know what big balling shot I
- 49:12Speaker 1: call it? Man. I told you, man, I ain't ain't
- 49:13Speaker 1: going in for none of that. Man. I'm suposed to
- 49:15Speaker 1: tell my wife. Man, this this ain't cool, man. I
- 49:17Speaker 1: ain't going into that. Man. I'm rescheduling, man, you're rescheduling.
- 49:20Speaker 1: What do you mean you're rescheduling? Sir? What I'm getting
- 49:23Speaker 1: another opinion? I ain't going in for this, okay, But
- 49:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to make you a big baller shot caller.
- 49:28Speaker 1: You know, man, what what is your name? You supposed
- 49:30Speaker 1: to do? For? You? Making a little jokes man, you're
- 49:32Speaker 1: doing a little play on words. Man. It ain't even funny. Man.

- 49:42Speaker 1: taking opin man, I'm forgetting all of the work that
- 49:45Speaker 1: we got, the blood work, the year and word they're
- 49:48Speaker 1: complete physical. That's when we didn't realize that you had
- 49:51Speaker 1: parasites in a particular area. So what we're trying I'm not.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I don't mean, I'm trying to make the light of
- 49:56Speaker 1: make humor in it, just to make you feel a

- 54:31Speaker 1: got it for you here at ease. The Strawberry Letter subject,
- 54:35Speaker 1: I have a little issue with my new man. Dear
- 54:39Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I am a forty one year old divorce woman,
- 54:43Speaker 1: and to be honest, I'm waiting for my night in
- 54:45Speaker 1: shining armor. I am in no way a picky person,
- 54:49Speaker 1: but there are some deal breakers that I will not
- 54:51Speaker 1: compromise on when I meet a man. I was in
- 54:55Speaker 1: a bad marriage for ten years, and I lowered my
- 54:58Speaker 1: standards for my ex husband, and I kept a very
- 55:01Speaker 1: open mind until I got to the point where I
- 55:03Speaker 1: could not be with him anymore. So now I'm back
- 55:06Speaker 1: on the dating scene and I'm frustrated from having a
- 55:10Speaker 1: failed marriage. I do have a special friend that I
- 55:14Speaker 1: spend a lot of time with, and he's handsome, fun loving,
- 55:18Speaker 1: and uh financially secure. The only problem I have with
- 55:22Speaker 1: him is that he is two inches shorter than I am.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I know, but it should be inches, yeah, beyond it
- 55:37Speaker 1: should be inchesians yes? All right? Um? Where was I? Okay?
- 55:47Speaker 1: Two inches shorter than The only problem I had with
- 55:49Speaker 1: him is that he is two inches shorter than I am.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I sought advice from my aunt, my mom, and my girlfriend,
- 55:55Speaker 1: and they all said that I should give this man
- 55:57Speaker 1: a chance to see how things work out. They told
- 56:00Speaker 1: me that I just need to wear flats whenever we
- 56:02Speaker 1: go out. He's so skinny and I prefer to have
- 56:05Speaker 1: a more manly man in my company. I'm thick and
- 56:08Speaker 1: healthy at five foot eight inches tall, and he is
- 56:12Speaker 1: five foot six inches and real scrawning. I believe in prayer,
- 56:17Speaker 1: and I'm humbly, and I'm humbly and specifically ask God
- 56:21Speaker 1: for a man that is taller than me so I
- 56:23Speaker 1: can feel secure and protect it. I hate it when
- 56:26Speaker 1: we're dancing because it looks like I'm dancing with my son.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I will not take pictures with him because we look
- 56:32Speaker 1: so odd together. This guy's height and weight are big
- 56:35Speaker 1: problems for me, but he has no complaints. Maybe I'm
- 56:39Speaker 1: being closed minded and shallow. What do you think? Should
- 56:42Speaker 1: I give little fella a chance? Wow? Well, you know what?
- 56:49Speaker 1: I can tell you this. I mean, there is a
- 56:50Speaker 1: saying that goes good things come in small opting small packages.
- 56:55Speaker 1: What s there is a saying that says that. I mean,
- 57:00Speaker 1: you know you're You've sought advice from your aunt, your mom,
- 57:03Speaker 1: and your girlfriends. They all say that you should give
- 57:05Speaker 1: this man a chance to see how things work. You
- 57:07Speaker 1: yourself said that he's a special friend. You spend a
- 57:10Speaker 1: lot of time with him. He's handsome, he's fun, loving
- 57:14Speaker 1: and financially secure. You said that, you said, the only
- 57:18Speaker 1: problem you have is he's two inches shorter than you. Well,
- 57:21Speaker 1: if he's financially secure, how about your standing on his
- 57:24Speaker 1: wallet or something. Let him stand on his wallet. He'll
- 57:26Speaker 1: be taller, you know, if that's what you're concerned about.
- 57:29Speaker 1: But if you're just concerned about looks, that is very shallow.
- 57:33Speaker 1: That is shallow of you in you're that. I mean,
- 57:41Speaker 1: it is shallow of you to look at him for that.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I mean, we all have deal breakers, But I don't know.
- 57:48Speaker 1: If he's a good man and he's shorter and that's
- 57:50Speaker 1: not what you want, why are you with him? Why
- 57:53Speaker 1: are you wasting his time and yours? Steve, Well, here
- 58:03Speaker 1: we go, y'all. Wait must have wrote this letter for me.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I'm a forty one year old divorced woman and I'm
- 58:13Speaker 1: waiting on my night in shining Armor. I am in
- 58:16Speaker 1: no way a picky person. She's not picky, but there's
- 58:21Speaker 1: some deal breakers, and there's some stuff that she won't
- 58:25Speaker 1: come because she's been in a bad marriage. She low understandard.
- 58:29Speaker 1: So now she's back on the dating scene. I'm frustrated
- 58:33Speaker 1: from having a failed marriage. I do have a special friend.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I spend a lot of time with him. He's handsome.
- 58:42Speaker 1: He is the problem I had with him he is
- 58:46Speaker 1: two inches shorter than me. Well, let's go back up
- 58:50Speaker 1: to the top of the ladder. You said, I'm waiting
- 58:52Speaker 1: for my night and shine in armor. You got it.
- 58:56Speaker 1: It's tarrying from the game of throne. Stupid. What's wrong
- 59:05Speaker 1: with that? There's nothing wrong with that. Now. I know
- 59:11Speaker 1: y'all way know me to say something crazy about you
- 59:13Speaker 1: know who, But I'm not. Did oh oh about oh
- 59:17Speaker 1: pop teen. I saw the advice from my aunt's, my mama,
- 59:24Speaker 1: my girlfriends, and they all said I should get this
- 59:27Speaker 1: man a chance. I think you should, too. Short people
- 59:31Speaker 1: have been given opportunities throughout our history. Napoleon was short,
- 59:36Speaker 1: so you know what they did. They put him up
- 59:38Speaker 1: on the horse. That's true. Humpty Dumpty was short. He
- 59:44Speaker 1: was a little fat ass egg. You know what they did,
- 59:48Speaker 1: stuffed his chunky ass right up on that wall. Unreal.
- 59:55Speaker 1: He makes sense too. Mice is short. Don't you see
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: him up on counters and stuff all the time? Hamsters
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: is little. What they do with a hamster put him
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: on a wheel. You got to elevate things that's short
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: y'all ready. Yeah, we'd be ready. They put a baby
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: in the water, a high champak. You better get this
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: man a chance. They got chairs for him, They got
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: phone books. Don't nobody muse phone books no more? All
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: these old phone books. Put him in the chairs. So
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: when you're looking at him across the dinner he looked tall.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Ain't nobody got to know he on two phone books.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Put him on the yellow pages and the white pages. Yeah,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: just stack his little shout as something. No, really, it's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: little people driving all counts of cards, all right, that's true.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: The little people got rolled rosses. They reached them pedals.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: You put them blocks on them, pedals, will you can
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: step on them? You can work with these people. They said.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: He financially secure. Yes, yes, I know a lot of
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: shot people that's financially secure. You know. Look at the
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: keepler elves. I bet they richards. Hell take out money everywhere,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: all them down courts. Me. Why is we're not giving
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: shot people a chance? I be damn it. My whole response.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: It's gonna gil some shout man, you know a chance
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: we come back. Most shout news coming up at twenty
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: three after of the hour, subject. I have a little
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: issue with my new man right after this. You're listening,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter. Uh, it
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: ain't nothing to recap. As a woman had a bad marriage,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: got a new friend dating him. He's wonderful, he's handsome.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: He got two problems. I didn't get to the other one,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: but one of them is he two inches shorter than her,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and he's small frame. She five eighty five six and
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: real scrowny. She don't like dancing with him because it's
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: like dancing with us, So she don't take pictures with
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: him because it's in bass. So this amazon queen over here,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: it's dating this little man little me and need love too.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Now I want y'all to stop this huh and give
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: a little man a chance. What do you mean? I
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: want y'all to think of the little men in history
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: that have been given chances and done something about it. Okay,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Game of Throne? Okay, terrior, yea, if they took him
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: off Game of Thrones, which you still watching, No you would?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: What about that little bit the lady to flow on
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: them drag as if they took a little lass off
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: of that she shot? Would you still watch the show,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: know you would if Gullible had a win to that
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: island and them little people never tied his ass up?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Would you have cared about this damn story? Who would
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the Jolly Green Giant be if it wasn't for little
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: lass people, he wouldn't be no damn giant because everybody
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: same sizes. You got to give little people a chad.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: If Willie Wonka wasn't shot because his asswer got into
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: chocolate factory, I'm going over great short men in our
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: history that have made an impact speedy goods as what
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: if he wasn't shot? Would he have been that fast?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Ain't no fat ask people that fast? You got to
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: be small. Shout yeah, Look at spider Man. Peter Parker
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: wasn't tall. That's how I can fit in all the
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: winners and everything. Spun Webb won the NBA Duck Contest, right,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: spun web shout man making a fool out there? People
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: shot people in our history that have done great things.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Y'all ain't listening to me? I hear you, yo, simmit
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: is sam boy? Yeah yeah, yeah, that's true. But about
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: that little bit of chicken with them round glasses on
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: fog horn leg horn kept in fitting all that. I say,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I'll say, son, shot people, you wouldn't have had a
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: damn toy if it wasn't for them elves up there
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: at the North Park. Ass wouldn't have had that damn
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: poor sitting up in here, and won't give this man
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: a chance because he's small. You're gonna stop this sitting
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: up in hell. Let's look at all in people as
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: working down at disney Land. Who in the chipmunk set,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Who in the nicking suit? Who in Mini mouth? Lord
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: and Mercy? Who was snow Who is snow white? Friends?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Snow white? And wouldn't have a damn but it nowhere
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: waiting for them, seven dwarfs. Don't you messing me by
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: short Pip? Yeah? I'm dead serious, man, man, you got
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to start honor and respecting shot people. You're right, but
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: why are you mad? Little house Wilds of Atlanta? What
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: would happen to this show if you kept bringing handle
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: a little people on that you had shut it down?
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: You know why we got Little Housewives of because we
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: got tired to big ass housewids. It's little women, little women,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: little people. Yeah, yeah, that was called little women. I'm sorry,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: And little people Big World, Little Women, Think Bodies. They
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: ought to call it little Women. That's bringing I'm just
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: going down a serious But that other show too, Steve.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: You started that Little People, Big World. That's a show.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Don't know nothing about it. Okay, I'm just looking at
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: all the little people, the little little people and little
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: powerful places. What is this man? Little Andy? I take
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: a rock and I bust you upside your head. On
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: the Andy Griffin Show, stayed in jail all the time.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Ernest T. Bass my favorite show to ask people, Wow,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I to take this rock, Andy, bust you in your head.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Shut up. Barney shot people now Oldis was the drunk
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Earnest Te Bass with the loud dude that kept you.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Got to think about some of the people who have
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: influenced some of our great show. Actor Sherman Himes was shot,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Emmanuel Lewis was shot, Garrett Coleman was shot. What someone
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: WILLI wherever that had come from? Couldn't no big dude
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: said that that Bubbos were shot. Michael Cardey's asked everywhere
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Bubbos were shot. Bubba couldn't have been a silver back
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: and been a stand in Michael House had a silver
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: back walking around tad up stuff. You had to have
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: a little ass Michael Bubbo and shot up to Kevin Hartsty,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: what about him? I'll be damn I forget this, shout
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: Rich one of the most famous successful people in chapies today.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: Shout ask Kevin hart coming up. In ten minutes, ncuble

- 1:09:18Speaker 1: largest contract in baseball history when we come back right
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: after you're listening to all Right, so guys before we
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: talk about the NC double A. For the second time
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: in three weeks. Uh, for the second time in three weeks,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: a new record for the largest contract in baseball history
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: has been set. The Los Angeles Angels and superstar Mike
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Troutsty finalized a massive, massive, twelve year, four hundred and
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: thirty million best ways than four hundred and thirty million
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: dollars extension that will presumably keep him in La and
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Anaheim for the rest of his career. One hundred thirty,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: yeah thirty. That's one hundred million dollars more time than
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Bryce Harper million over twelve years. How much is that
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: A year? A lot? Yeah thirty? Just boy making thirty
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: five million, eight hundred and thirty three thousand, Yeah, you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: need that eight hundred thirty three thousand. But that's enough
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: right there. You make it on eight hundred thirty three
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: thousand a year. I bet you can think. But that
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: thirty five meal a year twenty seven? Und I need
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: some church mut Yeah he's only twenty seven. That other
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: thing he's twenty seven. Yeah with that much money, Yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: he's twenty seven. Think back when you were twenty seven.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Let's take it on it now, pass down today, h sermon,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: e the cow. What in the hell would I be
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: with four hundred and thirty million dollars? I said, what
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: in the hell would I be with four hundred and
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: thirty million dollar? Come on, I look back when I
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: was the same age as Mike Chop twenties m years
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: be exactly was the exact age I was when I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: started in comedy and made it fifty dollars first night
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: on stage. This white boy, then mess Riding, got his
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: hands on four hundred and thirty million dollars. What the
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: hell would I do with four hundred and thirty million dollars?
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: First of all, let's get this straight. I'm gonna take
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: all of myself phones. I'm gonna throw them away. I'm
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: gonna buy myself a page page me called. Phone call
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: won't get through no more. The next thing I'm gonna do,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna get all my relatives in a room. I'm
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: gonnahead each one of them one hundred thousand dollars. I
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: will then request that you never ever knew I existed.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Don't call me your brother, don't call me your uncle,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: don't call me your cousin. Forget the hell I was
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: your nephew. Wipe me off the family records. I don't
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: want to be no Harvey no more. I don't want
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: to be nected to none of my family. Ah. Then
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: gonna place a call. Everybody gonna get a call from me.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I want them on a conference call. Ain't no need
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of me repeating this eight different times. Everybody on the
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: phone can kiss the shiny wet pot or the crack
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: of my behind. I want you to take my booty,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: put it in a box, kiss it, and don't miss
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: a col Now, fairy thing I'm gonna do. Then the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: fourth thing I'm gonna do, ha ha, I'm gonna get
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: my deacon. Yeah right here, I said, I'm gonna get
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: my decas right, We're gonna go down to the hard West.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: That's right. We're gonna get a cane of gas. We're
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: gonna get some old raggedy T shirts. We're gonna pull
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the gas in some Coca Cola box, the stacked the
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: ragged hens T shirts down in the mouth fubble. We're
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: gonna light it and we're gonna throw it. We're gonna
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: burn down the jack pot joints. I ain't coming in
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: here teaching now another sermon. I don't care if you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: go to heaven. I don't care if you go to hell,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: but we're gonna shut down the ragged ass check. We
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: got next thing I'm gonna do. Come on, I said,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: the very next thing. I'm gonna do what you're gonna do.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I'm calling my x Y. I'm gonna send them twenty
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: five percent check of what I just got. Wait wait, wait,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: four hundred and thirty million. Ten percent of that is
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: forty three million, twenty twenty percent of out of be
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: eighty six million, five percent of the U be another
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: twenty one thousand. I'm gonna send each one of them
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: a check for one hundred million dollars, and then I'm
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: gonna write void in the middle of it. Guess what
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: you stayed with my hands. This is all the time
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: you said I wasn't gonna be nothing, all the time
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you and your mother had family wrote me off and
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: said he's but for going out here telling them jokes. Ah.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Then I got one more thing. What's that pass I'm
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: gonna do. I'm going on Facebook live, Yeah, for full
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: days in a row. I'm gonna research. I'm gonna look
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: up every blogger that didn't ever said a damn thing
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: about Steve. Yeah, because since I'm reving Motown, everybody know
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: this really is Steve. I'm gonna take the time out
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: to type each one of them and the same MESSAGEAD,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be that lucky. You ain't getting that message. Nah,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I got to find some else. Just a little bit.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna let the deacon, since you've been lost, been
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: by my side all these years, he me alka street
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: cold meat and replicate at the jp JJ, what you've
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: been my best friend. Yeah, I'm gonna give you four
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: thousand dollars, I mean nuts from the bottle of my heartbeat.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I love your mon the one that ended it all.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: We gotta go all right, coming up at the top
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: of the hour. Tommy is gonna help us with Kid
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Harrington from Game of Thrones. John snow he's having an issue.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Tommy's gonna help him. We'll do that. Right after this.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. You know, fame
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: isn't always fun, guys. You know Steve talks about it
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: all the time, and you can just ask Game of
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Throne star Kid Harrington, who plays our beloved John Snow U. Yeah, hello,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I know, but I'm with you though, I know, well,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: listen to this. Though he ended up Kit Harrington ended
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: up in therapy when the spotlight got a bit too
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: hot because he was I mean, everybody felt the same
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: way we do. Carloges. He's just sexy, he alludes it.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: He's just we love watching him on the show. Kit
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: tells Variety that he felt a tremendous amount of pressure
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: after he was temporarily killed off in the fifth season's finale.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Who remember that, y not giants watching? Yes? So when
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you become the cliffhanger, he says, of a TV show
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: and a TV show probably at the height of its power,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: the focus on you is bleeping terrifying, he says. Kit
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: says his neurosis got heightened with that level of focus,
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: and it landed him in treatment. He said he had
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: a shaky time in his life around there, like a
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: lot of people do in their twenties. Um, that was
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: the time, he said. When he started therapy he started
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: talking to people. He had felt very unsafe. He wasn't
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: talking to anyone. He had to feel very grateful for
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: what I what I have, he says, But I felt
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: incredibly concerned about whether I could even bleeping act. Wow.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: What wow? I mean, I guess, yeah, he questioned himself.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: You know, I guess you know, with that kind of
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: fame staring at you like that. So yeah, I mean
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: we love John snow yeah, talented, But I'm glad he
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: went in and got some help. You know, a lot
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: of people handle fame differently. He handled it that way.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Some people spend all their money, or get a bunch
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: of women, or get into drugs or you know, he
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: didn't do all of that. So we went to therapy,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: and that's a good thing. Some people handle fame differently. Well,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I'm just as sexy as him, and I'm going through
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the same thing. Wow, yes we have I'm sexy on there.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: I don't you know what I just you know, after
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: after episode three, I didn't know if I could return.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: I was just throwing through so much. It was a
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: clip hangger. It was a cliffhanger for me, okay, because
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I was going through a lot because Sexty just took
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: over me. Did you die and come back to life? No?
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I wanted to, but Open said now having to, John
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: said no, but that's all right. We're coming in, Kid Harring. Okay,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: let me let me get this straight. Hold on, tell me,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I'm just talking to you. I'm listening. Is he really
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: comparing himself to Kid Harrington? A K? John snow sitting up? Okay,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: well came John. Okayuddle up, hoddle up. Let's give me yeah, okay,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: go ahead, well wait wait tell me okay, listen. We're
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: ready to love and did I did want more? Ye?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: So we love the show. We love ready comparison right
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: and after all love it was Oh. I have become
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: concerned about myself because I didn't know if I could
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: go on. Hold on, Tommy, hold okay, so let me
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: get this straight. Is he really for real though? Because
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: he sounds like he's serious. Okay, Okay, I don't know
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: how we don't see the comparison, but Juniors been touring
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: a lot too. Yeah yeah. Did you see him with
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: the Queen of Dragons? Did you see him with that?
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I saw him. Did you see me with U s
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: on the show? Did you see me talk? I liked
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: her to just see me talking to Shake? Did you
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: see me talking to all the guys in the cigar room? Yea,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: y'all didn't see this. I don't. That's just as big
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: as riding a dragon. That is just a big d
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: We're not trying to right. What's happening? Right, what you're
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: gonna say? Yeah, because I just don't understand Junior. Come here,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I look close up. Yeah, yeah, I don't understand the
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: level that he's trying to compare himself to kill from.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Well wait a minute. You mentioned that he's also doing
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: stand up and you know he's sold out everywhere. You
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: know what I was trying to give him. I can't
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: hear y'all. Oh hey, I don't know why, y'all. I'm
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: not right here. Oh hey boy, hey, I don't know
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: he could be kid heir. Wow Wow, Well um Tommy
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: um Snow is not the only sector person in this world.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: But you know what's heartbreaking though, Tommy, heartbreaking. But this
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: is coming up. This is the final season of Game
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: of Throne. Now I do I feel you all? Yeah,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I'm ready feel you on that. Yeah. It premiers April fourteenth.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Yeah, we're gonna be right. It's claw now.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: So okay, Tommy, So, since you're going through this and
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: me and John Snow are going yeah, kid Harrington, john Snow,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: what what advice you have anything you want to tell
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: that may be going through the same thing that you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: And since you call him kid Harrington, John Snow called
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: me Thomas smiles and nephew tom to call me that.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: We're not doing all that. But but y'all giving him
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: that respect. Well, I can't because I don't work the wall.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: That's this is coming. You know what, This fame is
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: just so incredible, and you know you do you hear
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: my music playing it belongs to me? And John Snow.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: When you have fame and you're dealing with it this way,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: have your music everywhere you go, playing it, when you
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: walk through the door, playing your music, when I walk through,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: when I walk through stores, when I walk through malls,
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: they play ready to Love music, Okay, they do that
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: for me. All right, Everybody clap right now, right now,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: because that's what they do when I walk in. Thank you?
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: This ain't you when you see this is what? This is?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: What is? This is the medicine or what me and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: John Snow? Will you see men stand up and start clapping?
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Make us feel like we are who we are? We
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: worked the wall man. But seriously, though, I cannot wait.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I'm happy. It's bittersweet. I'm happy it's coming back, but
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I'm sad because it's the last last season. How many
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: episodes are you gonna give? I think they were when
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: they initially went off, it was like seven or eight. Well,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: they need to stretch that the team leave. Hey, you
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: know what I heard guys that some people are good
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: because they're so excited they're gonna watch Game of Throne
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the last season, but they've never watched it before. And
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: it's like, God, I don't even know, you don't know
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you got this last season. I'm watching Game of Thrones
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: as if I'm from the North. I'm dressed just in
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: the same clothe. All right, coming up, we'll have more
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show Lights camera Carti Cardi b
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: is gonna make her major motion picture debut in the
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: cast of Hustlers, Yeah, Congratulations to her. Hustlers is a
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: movie featuring Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Kiki Palmer, and more.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Cardi will be able to call on her past experience
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: as a stripper for this role, considering the movie is
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: about a group of dancers who scam Wall Street clients
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: out of big money. The movie starts shooting in New
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: York on Friday. It's based on a two thousand Yeah Yeah,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Jenner and Cardi. I'm bringing one, so it don't need
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: a plot. It's based on a New York Magazine story
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: from two thousand and sixteen, Steve, so there you go,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: yeah and then other entertainment news, Taji p Henson recently
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: opened up about working on Empire in the midst you
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: know of all the Jesse Smollett stuff going on, all
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: his legal stuff. While she didn't reveal too much, she
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: did stress that the atmosphere on set is great. She
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: went on to say the mood during production really hasn't
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: changed much in spite of the high profile legal scandal.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Then Turaji shifted gears to discuss what fans can expect
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: from her character on the show. She says, cookies on
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: a real emotional rollercoaster this year. She's finding herself. And
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: as you know, Jesse still maintains his innocence. Jesse pled
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: not guilty to sixteen felony counts for allegedly faking his
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: own hate crime. He goes back to court inn you know, man,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: he go, so he gonna stay with him. He maintains
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: his innocence. I ain't mad, you know what, I ain't
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: really mad at because he didn't hurt nobody but himself. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: you know, he just hurt himself. You know, I understand
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the police department's anger because you waste a lot of
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: man hours. And then I can understand the rights group
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: and everybody saying, don't use us to promote you. And
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I can't even imagine how this was for his career.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: I just don't even see how that's all the rumor
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: that he did it for more money. I don't know
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: how that could have even produced more money. So, you know,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: if he's innocent, cool, I'm trying not to, you know,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: pass judgment, but I mean, you know, look just from
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: what I heard, it ain't looking good. But if he
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: can prove he innocent, now he will beat the case.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: That's called beating the case. If you get off with this,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: when that's beating the case. O. J. Simpson beat the
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: case right, double homicide. But he beat the case. That's
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: what you did, Rember. I told I wrote it. I
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: wrote it. I ain't gonna yeah everyone, I told, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: how to wrote something right on into the gutting. But
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: I never did it in court. It's different when they
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: got the evidence. Yeah, I didn't court one time on yes, yes,
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: I did no this I did no, no, no, no,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: you did no. Y'all don't understand the dude. I was
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: in there for a speeding ticket. The man said, was
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: you speeding? And I said no, I wasn't. I know?
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Good here will, OK? So I lied in court. The
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: judge says, young man, you want to pay this fine
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: and you want to do some time. I said, man,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I should have never been going forty eight miles now
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: in that damn schools in the first place. I got
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: off that line so fast, yes, sir, and I have
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the money for the fine. Please. I pick up paper
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: on the side while you give me a yellow vest
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: and a stick with her a nail on the end
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: of it. I do, but please don't put me in
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: this chair. Well that's what not to do. Okay, good Jesse.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: I hope he gets off. I hope he don't, you
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: know what. I hope he's telling the truth. I hope
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: he is too. I hope he can prove this to
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: be that they on. All right, we'll be back with
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Today is the first
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: day of spring. What. Yeah, so we gotta have some
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: fun today. We really really do. Bring it out in.

- 1:28:59Speaker 1: my hero any roll number the zero. Baby. They ain't
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: good right, ain't call it? Hey, Rodscott, what's up? Ain't nothing? Baby?
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: Just going over there. They're trying to make believers out
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: of them. No, I'm believing. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: Tell the truth? What hell? Go ahead, Roscoe, y'all doing it?
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: You know? You know I wrote most everything out there today.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: What y'all? What y'all want to go? Do anything? Anything?
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: I tell you. I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna sing
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: a little bit. First. I'm gonna do the origin how
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: the song got created. Then I'm gonna do it. Okay, Okay,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: it soon, come on, go ahead call it? Okay. What
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: song comes to your mind when you think about spring that? U?
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: What song comes to mind? Oh? Oh, let me think
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: I got so many? No? No, no, oh, spring off?
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: My first one I roll the spring was sliding the
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Fairly Stone. You wrote, hell, y'all, roll stompers, flying hand.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Nobody else writing for him? Okay, really that's what you doing? Screen?
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: And here she comes back, Fly fly fly flying. Oh,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: dough some mud day, dough, some mud day. I get
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: down when I want to come on. Ah, it's true. Yeah,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: I'll get down in the country and everybody, you you're
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: you gonna hear me? You wrote that? Here, y'all? That
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: for the summer time. Yeah, they did that. Wood stop
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: there back down. All of them just smoking weed, naked,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: riding down on, slugging white getting mud all on your
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: white foam. Had so much mud on you an't know
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: who they was. They was in there with the black people.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: They didn't even know the black people with them, gonna
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: everybody had more on it. I slid down with two
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: white girls myself. You were there. I had a curl
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: back and every bag of woodstock I had a curl
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: before they come out. Okay, so they thought I was white.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: They thought I was just white boars and mud on it. Look,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: you don't go ahead of time bad? Did you tell me?
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: Did you do any bad white song? Did you write
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: any of them? Oh? Hell you doom doom toe well,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: doom doom, doom doom. Do something wrong with me. I
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: ain't even gonna do the All right, coming up, it's
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: miss it. At forty nine after the hour you're listening to.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we go, last break of the day. Um,
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: some parting words for us with your closing remarks? Please?
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: All right, UM, I guess, without thinking about this much,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: I want to talk to you about life how fragile
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: it is, and I want to have something to say
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: about you know what, I'm really not gonna get into
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: the whole situation because, like I just be honest with you,
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: there are actually times when I'm actually sick and tired
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: of talking about it. I am exhausted with the fact
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: that the color of my skin has to come into
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: play in my every day life, my just day to day.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: I don't know. I really can't think of any days
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: realistically why I do not have to consider the color
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: of my skin, the shape of my nose and my
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: lips wherever I go. The situation I'm in, I very
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: rarely can think of a day that I'm not made
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: aware of it or I have to factor it in.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: If you're not a person of color or minority, you
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: may not even be able to understand what I'm saying.
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: But I'll just give you an example. When riding in
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: the car and being stopped by the police, as me
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: and my buddy Greg Calhoun was doing last year after
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: golf out in coming from Montgomery to Alabama and his
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: car and we were speeding and we were supposed to
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: get pulled over. We were speeding, But what I had
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: to do. Was immediately become aware that I am a
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: black man. Skip your money and your fame. I don't
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: have time to throw that out at you. I got
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: to get and start preparing myself. As the officer approaches
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: the car, I must understand without him getting my ID,
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: I'm a black man, just a black man. So I
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: put my hands up on the dashboard and the officer
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: came to the passenger side and said, why is your
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: hands on the dashboard. I said, because I don't want
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: nothing to happen to me. The officer said, while that's
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: acting mighty suspicious. I said, no, it's not. I'm just
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: being safe, Officer. If you don't mind, she said, well,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: I'll need to see I D I said, my ID
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: happens to be in a pouch in the back seat.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I would have to reach. She said, we'll go ahead,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: and I was tense because I didn't want to be mistaken.
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: When I'm on an elevator and I get on, I
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: am conscious of the fact that me and my guy
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: are the only ones on the elevator. When I go
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: to golf courses and I oftentimes see that there are
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: hardly any African Americans out here. It's just me and
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: one maybe the foursome that I'm playing with, And I'm
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: just always aware of it. If you're not that you
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: don't have to be aware of it. But it's the
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: awareness that becomes draining at times. It's the fact that
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: you got to be the only one on your floor,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: the only one on the elevator, the only one in
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: the cubicle, the only one in your department, the only
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: one at the meeting, the only one in the cafeteria,
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: the only one on the trip, the only one, the
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: only one at the hotel, at the front desk, the
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: only one, the only one, the only one's kids that's
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: in the recital, the only one's kids that's at the
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: that's on the side team, the only one, the only one,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: the only one, the only one. Gets to be exhausting
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: at times. This will not change, and to more people
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: who are not of color can try to empathize or
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: sympathize or generalize or something with us to say, you
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: know what, I don't know how that feels, but I
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: bet that ain't right because, as I've often said many times,
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: slavery didn't end just because black people got sick of
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: being slaves. We were sick of it the thought of it.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: When they put us on the boats, nobody wanted to
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: ride the boat over here and come be no slaves.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: Nobody was under the belly of them slave ships, going, man,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: this is nice. It's gonna be a new opportunity. Nobody.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: So I want to wake up and just see what
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: it feels like to just go about my day without
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: having to calculate my race, without to have to calculate
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: the color of my skin, to watch other people get
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: paid a certain amount of money, and then you don't
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: get paid a certain amount of money with the same
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: type of ratings, and then you got to incorporate something
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: else again. Now, I've been very blessed with the life
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: that I have, and I would not trade mind for anything.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: What makes this also tolerable for me? It is my
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: love of who I am, my love of our power
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: to overcome, our power to maintain in the struggle, our
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: power to still be something where we were brought here
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: to simply be nothing. So for us to have accomplished
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: what we've accomplished. I'm grateful and awful pride of that.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: So I guess my pride just keeps me going on.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: I hope that God will continue to let whatever light
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: that I can let shine through my existence to inspire
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: someone else to overcome when it looked like you ain't
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: gonna make it, because I said exactly what I've done.
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: By the grace of God, I have overcome against all
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: the odds, even when they said I wasn't gonna make it.
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: And even though I'm tired of being tired, I wouldn't
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: trade places and be nothing else, know how, because in
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: this struggle has taught me so many items of strength.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: I've learned so much about myself. My soul is strong,
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: my spirit is strong. I thank God for that. Y'all
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: have a great weekend for all. Steve Every contests no
