- 1:25Speaker 2: Turn I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 7: You got to turn the mouth turn You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 7: to turn the mouth out, turn a w the water up.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 3: one and only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Me just trying to give God some back, just some
- 2:18Speaker 3: back of what even gave me, just a portion, you know.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Just I'm just trying, man.
- 2:24Speaker 3: To to show some type of gratitude for all his blessings.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I'm just trying to, man, just just get it right sometimes,
- 2:36Speaker 3: you know what I mean. I mean, man, you just
- 2:37Speaker 3: can't do what you want to do and just live
- 2:39Speaker 3: wrong all the time. And you gotta at one point
- 2:42Speaker 3: in time, Steve, come home. Man, come on, man, you
- 2:45Speaker 3: could do better. I know you can, you know saying,
- 2:49Speaker 3: and you know what I had to do. I had
- 2:50Speaker 3: to stop saying, I'm gonna try to do better and
- 2:53Speaker 3: I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going to
- 2:55Speaker 3: do better. You know, trying is just to put forth
- 2:59Speaker 3: in effing and then if it don't work, well okay.
- 3:02Speaker 3: But if you make up in your mind that I'm
- 3:03Speaker 3: going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting
- 3:08Speaker 3: it done is the only thing that matters. See, it's
- 3:10Speaker 3: the difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to
- 3:13Speaker 3: win the game, or we're gonna go out here to
- 3:15Speaker 3: win the game. Now, trying to win the game means
- 3:18Speaker 3: that you could lose. But when you got in your
- 3:21Speaker 3: mind made up, most athletes will tell you that they
- 3:24Speaker 3: go out there with the full intent and purpose of
- 3:27Speaker 3: winning and winning only see they don't put the second
- 3:31Speaker 3: place finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't
- 3:34Speaker 3: get you there. You you got to win. And now
- 3:38Speaker 3: take it out of the scope of athletics, but keep
- 3:40Speaker 3: it in that type of analogy. In life, man, you
- 3:43Speaker 3: just want to you want to win in life, don't you.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I mean, at the end of the day, don't you
- 3:48Speaker 3: want to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated In life?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Don't you want to be recognized for your hard work?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Don't you want you know, to be recognized within the
- 3:57Speaker 3: bonus structure down at your job. Don't you want to
- 4:00Speaker 3: have your plaque up on the wall down at your job?
- 4:02Speaker 3: I mean most people do. Some people could care less.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Some people don't care about looking good or being their best.
- 4:08Speaker 3: And that's cool. But I ain't talking to them though.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I'm talking to you. I'm talking to those of you
- 4:13Speaker 3: who want to be the best you can be. You know,
- 4:16Speaker 3: people kill me when they getting mad at people and
- 4:19Speaker 3: he Brown knows and he all up on the employee
- 4:22Speaker 3: of the month man, the dude doing his job to
- 4:24Speaker 3: the best of his ability, and he getting recognized for it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: What they got to do with all that you talking about?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Because you ain't up there.
- 4:29Speaker 3: There's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success. He's
- 4:33Speaker 3: so lucky lucky? Hey man, do they kind of get
- 4:37Speaker 3: you a little bit when people call you lucky? Well,
- 4:39Speaker 3: let me tell you what luck really is, y'all. Lucky
- 4:42Speaker 3: is when hard work bumps up into opportunity.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Some people call that luck. But hold on, let's think
- 4:49Speaker 1: about this.
- 4:50Speaker 3: If you wasn't working hard, an opportunity presented itself, what
- 4:54Speaker 3: would you call that? But see, when you've been working
- 4:57Speaker 3: hard and opportunity presents itself and it bumps up into
- 4:59Speaker 3: each other. Now people want to call that luck, but
- 5:02Speaker 3: hold up, he got to park though to day, ain't
- 5:04Speaker 3: paying no attention to Yeah, that opportunity came by, But
- 5:06Speaker 3: if you had not been working hard, and the hard
- 5:09Speaker 3: work had not ran up in the opportunity, what would
- 5:11Speaker 3: you have?
- 5:12Speaker 1: No, sir, it's not luck, it's work.
- 5:14Speaker 3: It is work, because there's a scripture that said faith
- 5:18Speaker 3: without works is dead. But my mama was a Sunday
- 5:22Speaker 3: school teacher. She taught me enough. Though Now I know
- 5:25Speaker 3: difference between right and wrong, just like you do. You
- 5:28Speaker 3: ain't got to you know, it kills me when people
- 5:30Speaker 3: write a strawberry letter?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Am I wrong for this? You know?
- 5:32Speaker 8: Good?
- 5:33Speaker 1: Well, look at listen read your letter? Are you wrong
- 5:36Speaker 1: for this? You know you're wrong? What you don't need
- 5:37Speaker 1: else to.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Be telling you know? But I'm gonna do this anyway. Well,
- 5:40Speaker 3: el see, go ahead, though, do what you want to do.
- 5:44Speaker 3: But you know what, y'all, here's the best advice I
- 5:46Speaker 3: can give you. And this is what I really came
- 5:48Speaker 3: to talk about this morning, but I got sidetracked because
- 5:51Speaker 3: I listened. Get out of your own way. So many
- 5:56Speaker 3: of us are blocking our home blessings. We just in
- 5:59Speaker 3: our own way. We are in our own way. And
- 6:04Speaker 3: one of the most dangerous ways you can get in
- 6:06Speaker 3: your way is to do it your way, to get
- 6:10Speaker 3: it figured your way, and to lock in on your way.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And this the way it's.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Got to go. Do you know how many people are
- 6:17Speaker 3: blocking their blessing? Do you know how long I block mind?
- 6:20Speaker 3: With that mindset right there? Look, because this the way
- 6:24Speaker 3: you do it, You think that makes it the right way?
- 6:27Speaker 3: You think jazz because you do the thought on it
- 6:29Speaker 3: long and hard, and that's what you really want.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Do you really think that your way is the right
- 6:34Speaker 1: way or could that be a better way? See?
- 6:36Speaker 3: Until I started listening to God and started paying attention
- 6:40Speaker 3: to his way, man, I was spinning my wheels. Man,
- 6:43Speaker 3: I was out here so determined this how I was
- 6:46Speaker 3: gonna do it. But you know I had to learn
- 6:48Speaker 3: how to get out of my own way because just
- 6:50Speaker 3: because I could do it my way didn't mean it
- 6:53Speaker 3: was the right way. I had to get out of
- 6:56Speaker 3: my own way. Just get out your way, man, Now,
- 7:02Speaker 3: what what does that mean? That means see, set your goals,
- 7:08Speaker 3: that means have your dreams.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I'm saying, set your goals. Man, I ain't saying don't
- 7:15Speaker 1: set goals. Listen to me.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Set your goals. What is it you want to happen?
- 7:19Speaker 3: What is it you like to have? What is it
- 7:21Speaker 3: you like to be? What do you aspire to? Set
- 7:24Speaker 3: your goals and set your dreams. Now, take your goals
- 7:28Speaker 3: and your dreams to God and ask God to show
- 7:33Speaker 3: you how. Man, you can save yourself a lot of pain.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Listen to somebody who did it his way for so long.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And when I.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Finally got out of my way, out of my own way.
- 7:46Speaker 3: When you've heard old people say, let go and let God,
- 7:49Speaker 3: you've heard them say that I didn't. I didn't get it,
- 7:53Speaker 3: but I got it. Now let go and let God.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And it's amazing little saying. Though now you know you
- 7:59Speaker 3: may not get it now. It took me a bunch
- 8:01Speaker 3: of years to get it too. But when I took
- 8:03Speaker 3: my goals and my dreams and my vision to God
- 8:07Speaker 3: and I said, God, this is what I hope for,
- 8:10Speaker 3: this is what I aspired to, this is what I
- 8:11Speaker 3: want to be, this is why I would love to
- 8:13Speaker 3: get to. Then I said, help me show me how.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Point me in the right direction, let me follow your footsteps,
- 8:22Speaker 3: guide me and give me a spirit of discernment. Show
- 8:26Speaker 3: me who wrong because I meet people every day. Ain't
- 8:28Speaker 3: up to no good with me every single day. Oh man, Man,
- 8:33Speaker 3: I can't believe I wonna been to you. Man, the
- 8:35Speaker 3: Lord told me something was gonna happen to me today. Well, see,
- 8:39Speaker 3: I talk to him every day. He did not mention
- 8:41Speaker 3: you to me. He ain't said nothing to me. He
- 8:44Speaker 3: didn't tell me what was gonna happen mine. Now I
- 8:46Speaker 3: don't mean it can't happen because I'm open to it.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So really, man, I'm p and please know I'm listening
- 8:53Speaker 3: as well as I've ever listened before. But get yourself
- 8:57Speaker 3: together though, see know your goals and your and then
- 9:00Speaker 3: let God show you how to do it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: He'll do it. You know.
- 9:03Speaker 3: It's so important everybody, that you get focused, that you
- 9:07Speaker 3: aim for something, that you dream of, something, that you
- 9:11Speaker 3: aspire to something. But it's the most the best thing
- 9:13Speaker 3: you can do. After you do all that, Man, get
- 9:16Speaker 3: God involved in it. Man, talk to him. I mean,
- 9:19Speaker 3: why would you not what you got to lose. You
- 9:21Speaker 3: ain't got to go down there and make no big
- 9:23Speaker 3: scene and run laps around the church and run up
- 9:26Speaker 3: there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and
- 9:29Speaker 3: flip over and throw money in ad. You ain't got
- 9:31Speaker 3: to do that. This you and God, man, This you
- 9:33Speaker 3: and God. You know you got to serve and praise
- 9:36Speaker 3: Him the way you do it. You gotta let nobody
- 9:38Speaker 3: else tell you how it's done. It's a personal relationship.
- 9:41Speaker 3: People kill me if you don't do it this way.
- 9:43Speaker 3: If you don't come here to this church and you
- 9:45Speaker 3: don't run around in this circle and you don't get
- 9:47Speaker 3: flipped in the an, you don't. Hey, man, you better
- 9:49Speaker 3: go have a relationship with God. See what that's about,
- 9:51Speaker 3: you understand? Will nobody throw you off with all that?
- 9:54Speaker 1: All right? All right, y'all talk to him. He love
- 9:55Speaker 1: to hear from you.
- 9:56Speaker 9: Today you're listening morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen. He did it again, God Almighty and
- 10:05Speaker 3: gave us another one. I'm so grateful, man, I sure
- 10:09Speaker 3: am grateful. I kid you not when I say that
- 10:11Speaker 3: in the morning, I'm so serious. This ain't any joke
- 10:16Speaker 3: for him. I might say it with levity in my voice,
- 10:18Speaker 3: but please understand, it's at a level of gratitude. I
- 10:22Speaker 3: just don't know what else to say. Thank you, did
- 10:25Speaker 3: it again, and only he can do it. And I
- 10:27Speaker 3: acknowledge that, recognize that, I invite you to do the same.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Gratitude affects your attitude, which determines your altitude. If you
- 10:35Speaker 3: get them tudes together, Man boy, you on your way.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I try to start my day like this.
- 10:40Speaker 1: You know. Look, sometimes you wake up on the wrong
- 10:43Speaker 1: side of the bed. I get it.
- 10:44Speaker 3: But at least you got up off the bed wrong side,
- 10:48Speaker 3: left side, right side late. Sometimes you gotta lay back down.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta hit snooze. But I shut my eyes
- 10:55Speaker 3: and said, thank you Heaven Father A man, I say,
- 10:57Speaker 3: go with me today, order myself, he said, we'll get
- 11:01Speaker 3: on up.

- 17:43Speaker 6: gonna see him on the fourteenth. Don't even ask me though,
- 17:45Speaker 6: jump like that, y'all. Bet I hope y'all see him
- 17:48Speaker 6: by the fourteenth, and stuff, y'all won't be looking for
- 17:50Speaker 6: him because I'm about to get in that for sure?
- 17:54Speaker 6: Is he crazy? Oh my god?

- 23:28Speaker 14: cut the line and made a remark about me being
- 23:31Speaker 14: on my phone. I was looking up my insurance information,
- 23:34Speaker 14: not texting my husband, apologized to her. On my behalf.
- 23:40Speaker 14: I was so hot with him that I started seeing stars.
- 23:43Speaker 7: Why would he embarrass me like that?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, see home, mane let me let Okay, here's
- 23:53Speaker 1: another area.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Half.

- 23:57Speaker 1: let me play something.
- 24:00Speaker 3: You cannot sighe with another woman over your wife. I
- 24:06Speaker 3: don't care what your wife did. Y'all work it out
- 24:08Speaker 3: bank at the house. But you can't take the side
- 24:11Speaker 3: of nobody else. Bruh, you just can't.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Man. You can't.
- 24:22Speaker 8: Y'all in the right place though, because somebody gonna need
- 24:23Speaker 8: some dope. Y'all in the girl, somebody gonna need some dope.
- 24:28Speaker 7: She exchanged words.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, cut the line, Yeah, apologize.
- 24:44Speaker 7: To get her prescription. That's what she was.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Doing, right, But I don't care if you in line,

- 25:26Speaker 1: All right.
- 25:26Speaker 14: Moving on to Ariel in Philly, Ariel writes, my new
- 25:30Speaker 14: boss took me to lunch and he said a lot
- 25:32Speaker 14: of negative things about my coworkers, and he told me
- 25:35Speaker 14: to keep my distance. I'm friendly with some of them,
- 25:37Speaker 14: and I actually like them. Am I supposed to a
- 25:40Speaker 14: stand awefish?
- 25:42Speaker 17: Will?
- 25:42Speaker 7: Will that make them hate me?
- 25:44Speaker 3: Wow?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Well, I don't know who your bass is. Listen to me.
- 25:52Speaker 1: This is what I've learned in life.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Pay very close attention to the messenger, because a messenger
- 26:01Speaker 3: is the messenger usually.
- 26:03Speaker 1: With a motivation behind it.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Now, I don't know if your boss is a man
- 26:08Speaker 3: or a woman, but either way, now let's take it
- 26:13Speaker 3: one step at a time.
- 26:14Speaker 7: It's a man, okay.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Now he may be taking you to dinner to tell
- 26:21Speaker 3: you about these other workers and a lot of things,
- 26:24Speaker 3: because he's trying to set you up like I favor
- 26:28Speaker 3: you a little bit differently. I look at you a
- 26:32Speaker 3: little bit differently, so you know now then also to
- 26:37Speaker 3: kind of set the course as I move forward, and
- 26:40Speaker 3: because I'm gonna take you to another lunch, I need
- 26:44Speaker 3: to keep you to keep your distance from them and
- 26:47Speaker 3: watch yourself because I don't need you. He just ain't
- 26:51Speaker 3: saying this to you, but he's saying this to himself.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I don't need you to get close to them, because
- 26:57Speaker 3: I might say some stuff to you, and I don't
- 27:00Speaker 3: need all these and office relationships working.
- 27:05Speaker 1: That is some motivation.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Behind and you need to pay very very close attention
- 27:11Speaker 3: because why would he take you to lunch and then
- 27:14Speaker 3: bad mouth to other people?
- 27:16Speaker 14: So what's she supposed what is she supposed to do?
- 27:19Speaker 14: Is she supposed to act stand office.
- 27:21Speaker 1: FC secret pliers? She's supposed to go to Human Resource.
- 27:25Speaker 7: And she wants to know.
- 27:26Speaker 14: Also, will that make them hate her? She does, Well,
- 27:30Speaker 14: why you don't?
- 27:31Speaker 1: You don't have to treat the other people no differently.
- 27:35Speaker 3: You don't have to see because because you're not clear
- 27:40Speaker 3: about his mission. So now if you do, if you
- 27:45Speaker 3: don't treat them differently, and then he comes to you
- 27:49Speaker 3: and say, hey, I told you quit talking to them.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Now we're down were down at HR. Now that's what.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Because all this is is the case at this point
- 28:01Speaker 3: right now, I don't think you need to.
- 28:03Speaker 7: Go to HR right now, okay, because.
- 28:07Speaker 3: You could use this to your advantage. Let it pile
- 28:10Speaker 3: up the emotion.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Five you don't go to HR's one thing.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Whenever I go down there off my TV show and

- 34:51Speaker 14: country singles she released after surprise Super Bowl commercial on Sunday.
- 34:55Speaker 14: The listener was told we don't play Beyonce, and the

- 35:02Speaker 14: the issue by claiming that was a generic response to
- 35:05Speaker 14: the listener and the station is actually excited that Beyonce.
- 35:10Speaker 7: Has crossed over into country music.

- 35:55Speaker 3: They did it for ye. It wasn't for Michael Jacks.

- 37:02Speaker 14: not there are other people involved who are amongst the
- 37:05Speaker 14: crowd of bystanders who attacked an assailant. Graves confirmed that
- 37:09Speaker 14: at least eight hundred police officers were on duty during
- 37:13Speaker 14: the parade. At a press conference held Wednesday, Kansas City
- 37:16Speaker 14: Mayor Quentin Lucas said the mass shooting brings up valid
- 37:20Speaker 14: questions about the way guns are handled in the United States,
- 37:24Speaker 14: and don't we do that every time there's a mass shooting.
- 37:28Speaker 7: Our condolences for sure.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You can't do nothing, can't go nowhere. I can't do nothing.
- 37:33Speaker 4: Is church parade and you know they they closed school,
- 37:39Speaker 4: you know, so the kids can go to the celebration.
- 37:42Speaker 4: In Kansas City so children are there, families are There's
- 37:46Speaker 4: like you said, Tommy, we can't go nowhere, we can't
- 37:48Speaker 4: have family celebrations, we can't do nothing exactly.
- 37:51Speaker 7: Don't want people to be happy or to celebrate. I mean,
- 37:55Speaker 7: what is going on?
- 37:56Speaker 3: Well, like you said it, every time this occurs, there's
- 38:02Speaker 3: this conversation about we need to do something about gun law,
- 38:06Speaker 3: and we never do something about gun laws. Not one
- 38:11Speaker 3: thing changes because the n r A is too powerful.
- 38:17Speaker 3: They donate too much money to the Republican Party for
- 38:21Speaker 3: them to even dare dare address the Second Amendment. That
- 38:28Speaker 3: that's that's an unheard of you might as well. You
- 38:33Speaker 3: know what, man, y'all, you know this is an amazingly
- 38:38Speaker 3: hypocritical country. You done voted to take prayer out of schools,
- 38:45Speaker 3: but you won't vote to take guns out of people's hands.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Help me with that. Help me just just just help
- 38:52Speaker 3: me understand how that makes sense. So that that's that's
- 38:57Speaker 3: a very very telling statement of about the condition of
- 39:01Speaker 3: the United States of America. You will vote to take
- 39:04Speaker 3: prayer out of schools, but you will not vote to
- 39:08Speaker 3: take guns out.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Of people's hands. I I tell you where we're at, right.
- 39:13Speaker 7: There, Yeah, right, our.

- 44:43Speaker 14: here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:45Speaker 1: What you got f this right here is uh you call?
- 44:48Speaker 1: How long you've been married? It'd be twenty years this
- 44:52Speaker 1: year nineteen.
- 44:53Speaker 8: We imagine somebody giving you a call telling you you
- 44:55Speaker 8: and Tush y'all ain't married. Y'all who because the pastor
- 45:03Speaker 8: that married y'all wasn't certified and then had the right credentials.
- 45:08Speaker 1: He really wasn't the pastor.
- 45:09Speaker 8: So y'all ain't married, you.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Would y'all ain't married?
- 45:18Speaker 10: Let's go Hell Hello, I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah,
- 45:23Speaker 10: how you doing, Brian? My name is Daniel. Wanted to
- 45:26Speaker 10: give you a call today. You got a minute?
- 45:29Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 45:30Speaker 10: Okay, listen. You're you're Brian, Brian right, you're married to
- 45:35Speaker 10: to Althea Yeah. Hello, hello, yeah.
- 45:39Speaker 19: Yeah, that's that's me. That's my wife.
- 45:41Speaker 10: Yeah, okay, got a question for you. How long have
- 45:45Speaker 10: you guys been married?
- 45:46Speaker 19: Going on nine years now? We've been married?
- 45:49Speaker 4: Who is it?
- 45:50Speaker 10: My name is Daniel. Were you were you guys married
- 45:54Speaker 10: a Greater New Missionary Baptist.
- 45:57Speaker 19: Church Linda See Yeah, yep, yep, that's the name of
- 46:01Speaker 19: that church. Yeah, great by nine years? Yeah, that's right.
- 46:05Speaker 19: Why what's going on? What's asking all.
- 46:06Speaker 11: These questions for us?
- 46:07Speaker 10: Okay? Do you remember the minister that officiated your actual
- 46:12Speaker 10: wedding ceremony?
- 46:13Speaker 19: Yeah?
- 46:15Speaker 10: Reverend right, Yeah, okay, I got the right person. I
- 46:18Speaker 10: wanted to make sure I had the right person, Brian.
- 46:21Speaker 10: So I'm I'm sorry if it seemed a little weird
- 46:24Speaker 10: to you. Here. Here's what's going on. We've just come
- 46:27Speaker 10: up with a new discovery, a lot of information that
- 46:31Speaker 10: Reverend none of his credentials are true. Everything is false.
- 46:36Speaker 10: He's not a minister at all, he never was a minister,
- 46:40Speaker 10: and every single wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically
- 46:46Speaker 10: null and void. So, and I hate to be the
- 46:49Speaker 10: bearer of bad news, but you and Alpha, even though
- 46:53Speaker 10: you think you've been married for nine years, you guys
- 46:56Speaker 10: are not married at all.
- 46:58Speaker 19: No, no, no, no, not that that you got to
- 47:00Speaker 19: have the wrong person, because man and that thing we
- 47:03Speaker 19: got married by nine years ago.
- 47:05Speaker 10: And what I'm telling you is he never was ordained.
- 47:13Speaker 10: He's never been an ordained minister. He's not a minister
- 47:16Speaker 10: at all. So when he performed this ceremony, your wedding ceremony,
- 47:20Speaker 10: he had no right to be doing that. You guys
- 47:22Speaker 10: are not are not married. You know, you guys have
- 47:25Speaker 10: been living in sin for nine years.
- 47:28Speaker 19: Hold on, hold on that. Let me tell you something.
- 47:30Speaker 19: I ain't been living in an offense. Me and my wife,
- 47:32Speaker 19: we have been married for nine years and that man
- 47:35Speaker 19: he's a preacher. I'm telling you he's a preacher.
- 47:37Speaker 10: Last Sunday, Sir, as of today, he has no right
- 47:42Speaker 10: to be in anybody's pull pit. He has no right
- 47:44Speaker 10: to be officiating, whether it's weddings or funerals, no matter
- 47:48Speaker 10: what it is, christenings for children. He's not allowed to
- 47:51Speaker 10: do that. And we have officially stopped him from doing
- 47:54Speaker 10: anything serving under as being a pastor or a minister.
- 47:59Speaker 10: We have that. But what I want you to know
- 48:02Speaker 10: is that you have been living in sin and you
- 48:05Speaker 10: don't you that. We want to try and get you
- 48:07Speaker 10: guys married as soon as possible, so you're not living
- 48:10Speaker 10: in sin.
- 48:11Speaker 19: Oh no, doc, I ain't been living in those sin.
- 48:13Speaker 19: I have been married for nine years. This woman shit
- 48:16Speaker 19: has been taking care of me and my kids for
- 48:18Speaker 19: the past nine Wait.
- 48:19Speaker 10: Wait, wait a minute, wait a minute. You guys have children.
- 48:23Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah, we have two kids too, beautiful kids.
- 48:26Speaker 10: Okay, then those kids are bastards.
- 48:28Speaker 19: Hold on, hold on, let me tell you something. My
- 48:30Speaker 19: kids ain't no baskets.
- 48:31Speaker 10: What about your kids? Your kids ambassts, No, sir, my
- 48:34Speaker 10: kids were born in wedlock. Your kids have been born
- 48:37Speaker 10: out of wedlock.
- 48:38Speaker 19: I'm telling you that man did my service and he
- 48:42Speaker 19: is a preacher. He's a man after God's own heart himself.
- 48:47Speaker 19: He hasn't done everything that he could for me and
- 48:49Speaker 19: my family.
- 48:50Speaker 10: He is a preacher, sir, don't I know it's hard
- 48:53Speaker 10: for you to to swallow the truth, but I want
- 48:56Speaker 10: you to know and I need you to be able
- 48:57Speaker 10: to tell our felter. You guys are not married right now?
- 49:00Speaker 19: No, no, okay, so hold on, hold on now. Back
- 49:05Speaker 19: in the older days, but before all these all these
- 49:08Speaker 19: colleges and stuff came came about. You telling me that
- 49:10Speaker 19: their men back in the old days, that they wasn't
- 49:13Speaker 19: no preachers, that they wasn't men after the call?
- 49:16Speaker 16: Is that what you're saying to me?
- 49:18Speaker 10: Uh? What you?
- 49:19Speaker 7: What do you?
- 49:19Speaker 10: What are you? What are you getting at?
- 49:20Speaker 1: Sir?
- 49:21Speaker 19: What I'm trying to say is back in the older day,
- 49:23Speaker 19: back in the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all
- 49:25Speaker 19: these colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these
- 49:27Speaker 19: new preachers got these days. That man, now he was
- 49:30Speaker 19: from back then, and God called them and that's what
- 49:33Speaker 19: they went on too. And all them people that they
- 49:36Speaker 19: married back then, they did the same thing today. You
- 49:39Speaker 19: don't need no degree to say that you're a preacher.
- 49:41Speaker 19: You don't need no life to say you're a preacher.
- 49:43Speaker 19: Me and my wife we've been married for nine years.
- 49:45Speaker 19: My kids have been born any wedlock. We were married,
- 49:49Speaker 19: we were married by reverend, My friends and family day
- 49:52Speaker 19: was all there, sir.
- 49:53Speaker 10: The bottom line is that you have been living in
- 49:56Speaker 10: sin because you have not been married with your wife
- 49:59Speaker 10: for the last nine years. And your kids, I hate
- 50:02Speaker 10: to say it, your kids are bastards.
- 50:04Speaker 16: Now an't on?
- 50:05Speaker 8: Now?
- 50:05Speaker 16: I done told you.
- 50:06Speaker 19: Don't say nothing else about my kids saying I ain't
- 50:08Speaker 19: no custom, But don't push me.
- 50:10Speaker 16: My kids ain't no bassard. You understand me. You won't
- 50:13Speaker 16: get me up, sir.
- 50:14Speaker 10: I'm trying to give you the truth and try to
- 50:16Speaker 10: get you in here and get you married so you
- 50:17Speaker 10: will not be living in sin any more than what
- 50:20Speaker 10: you are.
- 50:20Speaker 16: I a'm living in those sins.
- 50:23Speaker 10: Look now, you don't make.
- 50:24Speaker 16: Me whoop your ass. You understand men and my wife
- 50:27Speaker 16: we have been married for nine years.
- 50:30Speaker 10: Don't shit up.
- 50:30Speaker 16: Here in come me talking about that. We ain't mad
- 50:32Speaker 16: that that man ain't no fature. You understand. I get
- 50:35Speaker 16: out of myself. That's my life. Those are my kids.
- 50:39Speaker 16: They have been born in wedlocks. You understand, sir?
- 50:43Speaker 10: So, I just wanted to call and give you the
- 50:45Speaker 10: information so that you could probably stop living in sin.
- 50:47Speaker 10: That's all I wanted to do.
- 50:49Speaker 16: I ain't living in those sins. That's what I just
- 50:50Speaker 16: told you. You ain't hear me.
- 50:52Speaker 19: I ain't living in those sins.
- 50:53Speaker 16: Niggure you the one that's living up in some sin. Now,
- 50:55Speaker 16: you ain't got nothing ness say to me that man
- 50:57Speaker 16: that nine years ago the get you know a ss
- 51:00Speaker 16: on my phone?

- 54:05Speaker 1: It could be yours.
- 54:05Speaker 8: Buckle up and hold on tight, beguide it for you.
- 54:07Speaker 8: Here it is strawberry letter.
- 54:09Speaker 7: Thanking a few subject. Who is they?
- 54:13Speaker 14: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married to a forty six year
- 54:16Speaker 14: old gossiper and my life went downhill when I let
- 54:19Speaker 14: him get on Instagram. He loves to take pictures when
- 54:23Speaker 14: he gets a dressed when he gets dressed up, and
- 54:25Speaker 14: I would always post his pictures on my Facebook and
- 54:28Speaker 14: Instagram pages. His friends would poke fun at him because
- 54:32Speaker 14: he wasn't on social media, so I asked him if
- 54:35Speaker 14: he wanted me to set him up a page. I did,
- 54:39Speaker 14: and all he posts are pictures of his car after
- 54:43Speaker 14: he washes it. The other day he posted a picture
- 54:46Speaker 14: of our son after he got a haircut.
- 54:48Speaker 7: He's really not a poster, but he's a creeper.
- 54:52Speaker 14: He creeps around on everyone's page and reports back to
- 54:55Speaker 14: me what he sees. It gets on my nerves because
- 54:58Speaker 14: all day.
- 54:59Speaker 7: He's showing me on He's showing me his.
- 55:01Speaker 14: Phone and cracking up laughing. He started getting therapy on
- 55:05Speaker 14: Instagram from motivational speakers, and he gets all of his
- 55:08Speaker 14: styling tips from there too. But what irks me the
- 55:11Speaker 14: most is that he shows me photos of ladies and
- 55:14Speaker 14: will say that he likes their hair, and then we'll
- 55:17Speaker 14: ask if I can get my hair like theirs, or
- 55:20Speaker 14: he might tell me that I ought to buy outfits
- 55:23Speaker 14: like they are wearing. I was washing clothes and he
- 55:26Speaker 14: grabbed my love handles and said, they got workout videos
- 55:30Speaker 14: that you can do at home to fix this, as
- 55:32Speaker 14: he squeezed my lower back. I told him that was rude,
- 55:36Speaker 14: and he said he was just trying to help. Lately,
- 55:39Speaker 14: they have been giving him tips on how I can
- 55:41Speaker 14: improve my body and my hairstyles. I don't want to
- 55:44Speaker 14: have to shut down his Instagram account, but he's being
- 55:47Speaker 14: so rude. Should I start telling him what they say
- 55:51Speaker 14: he can do to improve, Well, no, you already know
- 55:55Speaker 14: his ego will not be able to take that if
- 55:57Speaker 14: you tell him what they say about him. You sound
- 56:01Speaker 14: like a nice lady, and I know you hate you
- 56:04Speaker 14: ever put your husband onto social media. He's abusing it.
- 56:07Speaker 14: He's spending way too much time on it, because you
- 56:09Speaker 14: know it's so addictive. It is addictive, but that's the
- 56:12Speaker 14: story for most people on social media. Once you start,
- 56:15Speaker 14: it is hard to get off. Just look around. Everybody's
- 56:19Speaker 14: on their phone all the time. Look around. That's bad enough,
- 56:23Speaker 14: But to start comparing you his wife to the Instagram models.
- 56:28Speaker 14: Hardly anyone can hold a handle to a candle to
- 56:32Speaker 14: the beauties on Instagram anybody. Some of them are natural,
- 56:35Speaker 14: but many of them are so filtered you wouldn't even
- 56:37Speaker 14: recognize them in real life. Your husband is on the
- 56:40Speaker 14: Gram like this some new toy or something, and I
- 56:43Speaker 14: guess it is to him.
- 56:44Speaker 7: But again, he should not be.
- 56:45Speaker 14: Comparing you to the Instagram woman women, or any other
- 56:48Speaker 14: woman for that matter. That's really stupid on his part,
- 56:52Speaker 14: really stupid. You got to bring him back to reality somehow,
- 56:55Speaker 14: and if it means closing his account, if he won't stop,
- 56:59Speaker 14: then do that. He can find something else to do,
- 57:01Speaker 14: no matter how much his friends clown him for not
- 57:03Speaker 14: being on the Gram. He's on it for the wrong reason.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Steve, I just don't know how to respond to this,
- 57:09Speaker 3: because I'm really kind of over social media. I think
- 57:13Speaker 3: people have used it the wrong way for the most part,
- 57:15Speaker 3: even though there are some good attributes to social media,
- 57:18Speaker 3: Like I get a lot of motivational stuff on that.
- 57:20Speaker 1: There's a lot of stuff about God. There's a lot
- 57:22Speaker 1: of prayers on that.
- 57:24Speaker 3: Like this morning, I opened it up to read a
- 57:26Speaker 3: message from overseas because they're on a different timeline.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I have to talk to these people sometimes.
- 57:31Speaker 3: And a prayer came up and the prayer was Psalms
- 57:34Speaker 3: ninety one, and so I read that this morning. So
- 57:37Speaker 3: it turned out to be a good thing, you know.
- 57:39Speaker 3: So I did my prayer with this guy online, which
- 57:42Speaker 3: was he was just reading and I just closed my eyes.
- 57:44Speaker 1: He was just reading the scripture. It was really really good.
- 57:46Speaker 1: So it has a lot of benefits.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Social media becomes a daunting blair mess up when you
- 57:53Speaker 3: bring it into your marriage. That is mad his wife
- 57:56Speaker 3: and got him accounting.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Now he posted stuff every time you get his car washed.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Don't nobody care.
- 58:05Speaker 3: See, let me tell you something, man, unless you have
- 58:10Speaker 3: one of those rare, rare cars. Unless you done got
- 58:13Speaker 3: your hands on one of them cars. Man, that's like
- 58:16Speaker 3: a like a spect car or something like this. Most
- 58:20Speaker 3: people have seen cars. When you can't keep showing your
- 58:24Speaker 3: car just because you wash it. Look, man, you have
- 58:31Speaker 3: washed up the Prius, but.
- 58:35Speaker 7: He did not say what kind of car.
- 58:37Speaker 1: The reason I know privs.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Because I was on very few the other days and
- 58:41Speaker 3: the lady had a Prius and I didn't know what
- 58:43Speaker 3: it was.
- 58:44Speaker 1: And boy, see what you mean?
- 58:47Speaker 3: You don't know what a Prius is, and I just
- 58:49Speaker 3: don't know what it looks like because I haven't seen one.
- 58:52Speaker 1: You've never seen a Prius?
- 58:53Speaker 3: Well, I don't when you're driving down the street, stop y'all,
- 58:57Speaker 3: I don't drive when you see cars. You haven't never
- 59:02Speaker 3: seen a four per and I haven't. I just never
- 59:04Speaker 3: seen one. I may have seen it and not known what.
- 59:10Speaker 1: So I'm just using Toyota.
- 59:18Speaker 11: You don't know, you don't know, ain't made by force?
- 59:27Speaker 7: All right, back to the letter.
- 59:29Speaker 3: This is this, This is the letter. Y'all got to
- 59:34Speaker 3: be more clear. On social media. We're gonna put the
- 59:36Speaker 3: cars names, what they maker next to.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Okay, let me ask what do they still make? The
- 59:46Speaker 1: four focus? I think yes, I think I can't help
- 59:55Speaker 1: her because I'll tell you the second half.
- 59:59Speaker 3: But social media is everywhere and it's out of hand,
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: and I really can't. I can't help people because it
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: affects everybody. And now if you let me come in
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: your marriage, you're making adulting mistake. So now this dude
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: is now looking at hasstyles and he's wanting his wife
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: to get a halfstyle like this girl online. And then
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: now he'd have walked up behind her and grabbed her
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: love handles, talking about they got videos online that can
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: fix this.
- 1:00:24Speaker 14: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:27Speaker 14: coming up at twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: Subject is who is they? We'll get back into it
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: right after this.
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:38Speaker 14: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:41Speaker 14: The subject is who is they?
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: It's just real, simplistious.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Woman is married to this man and she finally got
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: him in an account, and now social media dominates his life.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: He posts everything. He washed his car, He put it online.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: Every time he washed his car, he posts. Now, listen
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: to me. Stop being excited about your life, because I'm
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: telling you somebody got a life this bigger than that.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: Quit posting your car thinking, ain't nobody seen it?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Just cause your car is washed. People have seen that car.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: And unless you have a specialty car, ain't no need
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: to post it now. I see famous people posting too
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: day I know well, well, y'all know them too.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: It's more than one.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: They get the car ship to whatever city they is
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: so they can pull up in their car.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: You've seen it, you see.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: I've never ever done that. I just ain't that guy,
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: you know. I tell you an example. I was somewhat
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: looking at a car and the guy said, I said,
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: I'm thinking about getting this for my wife as a
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: gift birthday. The guy goes, wow, this will be your
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: first one. I said, no, I got a future. He said,
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: you have a few. I said yeah.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: He said you.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I ain't see you post your cars. I said, bro,
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I'm not posting my car. That's not what I do.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I'm just not. I'm not I'm not that dude. I'm
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: not gonna post it.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Oh man, I ain't even know you had one of these,
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: but I know people who do it. Now, you can
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: use social media for some good things, or you can
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: let social media ruin your life. This guy feeling let
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: social media ruin his life. If you see a girl
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: with a hairstyle on social media and you show your
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: wife this girl get your hair like that?
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Look, man, lookupid?
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: She looking at you like and then you walk up
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: behind her and grab her love handles.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: They got videos online that can fix this. WHOA now
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: the one?
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: And she said, lately they have been giving him tips
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: on how I can prove my body and my hairstyle.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: I don't want to have to shut his Instagram down,
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: but he's being so rude. Should I start telling him
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: what they say he can do to improve me? I
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: say yes.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: The one thing that helps me learn about arguments is
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: when your spouse lint says to you, Okay, let me
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: ask you this. Suppose I did see did if you
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: put the reversal on me?
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Work? Now? Listen to me, Fellas, you cannot go to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: your girl with a picture of another girl.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: Talking about you want this hair, because all she's thinking
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: is do you want this hair or do you want
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: huff see? Because what you're on a page and these
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: filters they got out. Now, boy, let me tell you something, whoo,
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: they are not a game. They are not a game.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I've never seen more perfect people that on Instagram. I'm
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: talking about, where are these with me? Where are these men?
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Where are they?
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: And I'm just look man, it's really not tom You
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: have used filters, Junior, you ever used a film?
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: No, it is what it is. I think we should
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I just talk about filters now, you say you, but
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I think we need to look at just a build.
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: You know, Tommy's not gonna I don't mean no filter.
- 1:04:30Speaker 12: Are you crazy?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't even know what you need a.
- 1:04:36Speaker 12: Man about this prettiness.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be over Fane, call.
- 1:04:41Speaker 13: It, say it again, it again, We're gonna be over fan.
- 1:04:48Speaker 13: I'm not doing that for the room, oh your road.
- 1:04:55Speaker 13: First of all, I don't know how to use no filter.
- 1:04:57Speaker 13: But secondly, I can't let you see this picture. Then
- 1:05:01Speaker 13: when you see me, you go. You know that's what
- 1:05:03Speaker 13: I don't want. I mean, what would you do? You
- 1:05:08Speaker 13: want to shrink your shrink your lips down? What would
- 1:05:11Speaker 13: you want to do?
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: M They got they got filters for that, Steve, because.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I wouldn't got anything that. I add four inches.
- 1:05:20Speaker 12: Fair height?
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, definitely what I.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Mean, I'll shrike my lips if you can reach them.
- 1:05:32Speaker 12: If they had a filter for my headline, I keep
- 1:05:34Speaker 12: it on, keep it straight off.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Boy, you ain't never lied me like Junior, like right now. No,
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: he is leaning down.

- 1:10:15Speaker 14: My wife and I have been married for twelve years
- 1:10:18Speaker 14: this year. I love her, but she's nothing like she
- 1:10:21Speaker 14: was when we first married. Over the years, she let
- 1:10:23Speaker 14: herself go in so many ways. It's not just that
- 1:10:27Speaker 14: she's physically not the person I'm married. She's also no
- 1:10:30Speaker 14: longer interesting or interested in anything other than sitting at
- 1:10:34Speaker 14: home watching TV. To top this off, we rarely have sex.
- 1:10:38Speaker 14: The last time was at the end of last summer.
- 1:10:41Speaker 14: There's a woman that I work with that hasn't been
- 1:10:43Speaker 14: very subtle about wanting to sleep with me, and up
- 1:10:46Speaker 14: to this point, I've been playing it cool with her
- 1:10:49Speaker 14: about her interest in me. But now I've started to
- 1:10:51Speaker 14: seriously considering hollering at her. Consider hollering at her. I
- 1:10:56Speaker 14: don't want to hurt my wife, but I have no
- 1:10:58Speaker 14: confidence that sex will ever be something that we enjoy
- 1:11:02Speaker 14: together again.
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: Will I regret cheating on her or will I regret
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: living out my days in a sexless marriage?
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Well both. If you.
- 1:11:12Speaker 20: Will regret it both ways, you're gonna regret cheating and
- 1:11:18Speaker 20: you're gonna regret living your life without a sexless manage
- 1:11:22Speaker 20: you're gonna regretless both.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: So you're a quandaries. People change. The woman you married
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: obviously is not who she was. But I have news.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: You're not the man you used to be now some changes,
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: that's true. See, that's the whole deal of it, though,
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: And the changes in you may be the reason why
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: she's sitting there and just looking at the cheating. And
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: most most things are cause and effect. Most things that
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: are affected or affecting you, it comes from a cause.
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: And so you have to get at that because you're
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: not going to address the cause of why she's that way.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: There is no solving this problem. Now you haven't had such.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: As last seme.
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: What yeah, the last summer. That's why he's considering cheating.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Ain't nobody got to do that though? He got well.
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: Since last summer?
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Yes, how many months stay? It don't matter two months?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Which one you're doing with?
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: Ye?
- 1:12:40Speaker 14: Man?
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: One of them?
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: Once you say months, which which one? What's the what's
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: the what's the number that's accepted?
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: A summer months?
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: It's damn this, Yes, so I already see this man.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: He has one foot out of though. Mm hm, Now look, man,
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: why don't you do it this way? You say you
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: don't want to hurt your wife and going there and
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: sit down with your wife and have a very very
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: open discussion about your feelings. Now, based on that conversation
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: of what y'all come away with, that will determine your
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: next book. But if if you try to encourage your
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: wife to look, I'll help you. You know, whatever you
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: want to do, if you want, if you want to
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: work out parton, if you want an accountability partner, if
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: you want me to change something about myself. What have
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: I done lately? That's different over the twelve years because
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: you're different too. Had that conversation, bro, Now after that conversation,
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: you got to.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Make a decision.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: I went to counseling one time, and when I left counseling,
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: I got a lawyer, one counselor and yeah, wow, now
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: I'm telling you I want one counselor and session. You know,
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: wentn't got a lawyer. I didn't have a lawyer to
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: do nothing. I just wait to see because I knew
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: it was coming.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: This is no well overcause God I can't give.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: I listened to all the answers they have, all the
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: answers that was given to what dad?
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Yeah, let me get on the pout of here.
- 1:14:20Speaker 14: But does he does he still love her since he's
- 1:14:22Speaker 14: considering her feelings, you know, love where he actually stepped
- 1:14:26Speaker 14: out on her.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: You could love a person and not like him before
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: he stepped out.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he damn they're gone.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Matter of fact, I'm just a tweet us. He gone, Yeah,
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: it's probably done it already. I'm just letting you know.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: He gone, Wow, keep gone.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: All right. Last summer.

- 1:15:42Speaker 14: The popularity of pickleball has been great for getting people
- 1:15:45Speaker 14: into exercising and being more active, especially seniors. But as
- 1:15:49Speaker 14: many doctors will agree, it's also been very good for
- 1:15:52Speaker 14: their business because they're treating a lot of pickleball injuries.
- 1:15:56Speaker 14: According to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, bone fracture
- 1:16:00Speaker 14: related to pickleball are up two hundred percent over the
- 1:16:04Speaker 14: past twenty years. Ninety two percent of these factors are
- 1:16:08Speaker 14: a result of falling. The most common pickleball injuries are
- 1:16:11Speaker 14: sprained ankles, knee injuries, and a worsening of arthritis.
- 1:16:15Speaker 7: Women, especially those.
- 1:16:16Speaker 14: Over sixty five, are more likely than men to suffer
- 1:16:19Speaker 14: a pickleball injury.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: The thing with pickleball is if you haven't made any
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: settin movements in a while, you can't go out there
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: and just do that and a not stretch and get
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: into some type of functional training.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: That's you will go out there and it hurt yourself.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: You have pickleball, it's a sport that's if you haven't
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: done anything in a while.
- 1:16:39Speaker 12: Yeah, it is.
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: It's shocking, man, right, you ain't cook in twenty years?
- 1:16:43Speaker 8: Wouldn't I tell you made a cut?
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: All right?
- 1:16:45Speaker 14: Coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:48Speaker 14: play around.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Would you rather?
- 1:16:50Speaker 7: Right after this?
- 1:16:51Speaker 14: You're listening hardy Morning show? It is time now for
- 1:16:55Speaker 14: would you rather? Would you rather permanently solve all your

- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Health? Yeah? Hell health man? About that money? Okay, you'll

- 1:18:24Speaker 4: I don't want the visual of of the sex life details.
- 1:18:30Speaker 14: Would you rather never get married? Or would you rather
- 1:18:33Speaker 14: get married but divorced every single time?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I just don't want to get married, get married and
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: get divorced every.
- 1:18:40Speaker 7: Single time, every single time.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: That's all I'm done. Every other time.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: All I gotta do is divorce this one. I'd be
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: clean sweet. That ain't nothing to me, No, sir, my

- 1:19:19Speaker 1: No all you.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Brother get get your voice every time you get that.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: That's what I did.
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: Time at the time.
- 1:19:31Speaker 14: Would you rather no no regrets? Would you rather get
- 1:19:37Speaker 14: teased with hot wax? Or would you rather get teased
- 1:19:39Speaker 14: with ice?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Cue? Hot cold hot wax? Ice? Cu Uh huh, I'd
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: be cold plunging. Ain't nothing sexy about that? Hot way?
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: All right, that's hot hot, I'll tell.
- 1:19:55Speaker 7: You that's today, man.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: I I had a lady did a hot wax treating
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: it on my foot in Chicago once at a Medic's
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: like a kick that lady.
- 1:20:07Speaker 14: Joel around the wood. You rather coming up in forty
- 1:20:13Speaker 14: nine minutes after the hour. It is our last break
- 1:20:15Speaker 14: of the day, and we'll have some closing remarks from
- 1:20:17Speaker 14: the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:23Speaker 14: Here we are our last break of the day, guys
- 1:20:26Speaker 14: on this Thursday. Now, Steve, before we get out of here,
- 1:20:30Speaker 14: we do have one more caller for you.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: You want to hear it if it ain't too shock
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: and I have a closing Okay, all right, let's see it.
- 1:20:39Speaker 15: All right, here we go, Good morning, mister Harvey and crew.
- 1:20:43Speaker 15: I just wanted to say to you, mister Harvey, you
- 1:20:45Speaker 15: are one hundred percent correct. You continue with your closing remark, sweetheart,
- 1:20:51Speaker 15: because you surely helped me. And I don't know. It
- 1:20:56Speaker 15: has to be the spirit of God because when you
- 1:20:58Speaker 15: said open up the door, and I get it myself,
- 1:21:01Speaker 15: but people never want to be responsible for their party,
- 1:21:06Speaker 15: and I live my life like this. It's an open book,
- 1:21:09Speaker 15: so you'll never have to say, oh, you were a people.
- 1:21:12Speaker 15: Oh a liar, you were all of those things. Yes
- 1:21:15Speaker 15: I was, But glory to God, I'm not there any longer.
- 1:21:19Speaker 15: And if people go to God in the spirit and
- 1:21:22Speaker 15: in truth, truth, things are kid they will have to
- 1:21:26Speaker 15: confess who, when, what they are, and what part they
- 1:21:30Speaker 15: played in it. Because trust me, if you believe in God,
- 1:21:34Speaker 15: it may not understand why your head to be homeless
- 1:21:37Speaker 15: while your head to be this and that. But in
- 1:21:40Speaker 15: the buy and by you will understand it. I love that,
- 1:21:44Speaker 15: and I love ste Party and don't you ever stop.
- 1:21:49Speaker 15: I am your biggest number one thing. At sixty five
- 1:21:53Speaker 15: years old, I've never missed hearing you all and I
- 1:21:56Speaker 15: loved you all. But Steve Party, you are want to
- 1:22:00Speaker 15: appointed by God. Everybody, get ready to give, Ready to give?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Ready?
- 1:22:05Speaker 15: I love you, Steve Bye.
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: Man, I love you at the end.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: Appreciate you coming in. Yeah, you need to lay off
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: the lucky strikes.
- 1:22:15Speaker 12: Though you gave yourself a chance.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Lucky strikes on Marbro.
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: But you know I appreciate what she said, yes, because
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: that kind of leads to my close remarks. You know what, man,
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: I want to remind people of to give yourself a chance.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: I think about that. Give yourself a chance, and the
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: best way to give yourself a chance, you can never
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: ever give up. I don't care how old you are.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: I don't care what the situation is. I don't care
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: what thiss set you. I don't care what's lying in
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: front of you. Give yourself a chance. You know a
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: lot of the ways I've learned to give myself a chance.
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: When God has allowed me to get past something, I
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: stay past it. I stop letting people drag me back
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: to my past so I can stay in a position
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: to fit their narrative.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: I stop letting.
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: People tell me about what I remember that time you
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: did that. I remember too, I remember all that too.
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: Forgive yourself a chance to grow, and to grow, you
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: got to go. You got to move forward.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Man, y'all could look online and see evidence of this
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: everywhere that this example I'm about to give you is truth.
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: Have you ever heard somebody that just keep rehashing what
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: happened to them over and over and over and over again,
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: and keep blaming somebody else for what happened to them over.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: And over and over and over. You know what happens.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: It stunts your growth.
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: Man, You, Bishop Jake said, You can't drive your car
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: looking in the rear view mirror. You gotta get your
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: eyes in that windshield. Man, listen to me. Man, if
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: God has got you past something, then move on.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Look it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Then it's not gonna always work out the way you
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: wanted to. But it's over though, And in everything that
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: happens to you, there's a valuable lesson. There is a lesson,
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: and there is a blessing, and you got to get
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: both of those.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: I've said it a thousand times on this show.
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: Behind every moment of adversity, there is a lesson and
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: there is a blessing, and you got to get hold
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: of both of those and move forward. Man, stop bringing up,
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: to stop living in the past. You got the same
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: narrative every time you see this person, the same narrative,
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: over and over and over.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: You did me wrong, you did this to me. But
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: it's over.
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: Man, give yourself a chance by not laying in the
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: mud when God then clearly got the mud off of you,
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: but you keep pulling it back in. Give yourself a chance. Man,
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: listen to me. When people are around you to constantly
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: bring up your past, remove yourself from your people. I
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: learned man, I was who I was. But I am
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: who I am and I'm cool with both us. Oh yeah,
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: did I make some mistakes in my life? Of course
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: I made a bunch of them, and some of the
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: decisions I thought was right, And looking back on them,
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: I can see how wrong they were. But based on
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: the information I had and the maturity level I was
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: at at that point in time, I was making what
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: I thought was an okay decision.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Well, looking back on it, man, don't you see that?
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: Sometimes Man, it just wasn't the right thing to do.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: But guess what your group? Your group?
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: And that's what failure is about. Failure is a wonderful
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: teacher because it gives you an experience. That's what failure does.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: That's what adversity does. It gives you an experience. See,
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: you got to look at it right way. When you
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: get into a situation and you feel like you buried
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: under this situation, have you ever thought that you wasn't buried?
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Have you ever thought that maybe God is planting me?
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: Sometimes you ain't buried. Sometimes you plant it. Everything that
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: comes about the ground, you see, that's good and beautiful.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: It had dirt on it at one point in time.
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: Every flower, every tree, every bush, every hubery, every.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Fruit tree, it had dirt on it at one time.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: Because God knows that dirt is salt and fertilized.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: It provides nutrients, and.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: That seed got to push through it to grow and
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: become what you meant to be. That dirt is fertilized,
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: of y'all, it ain't just dirt. And everything got to
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: push through the dirt to grow to be what they
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: come to be. You gotta understand that, man, So y'all
- 1:26:51Speaker 3: give yourself a chance. Don't ever ever give Those are
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: my clothes remarks. So God, we'll seey'all tomorrow. Okay, y'all
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: stay at peace, work.
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: For all.
