- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Nice to have you with us, and Senator you had
- 0:07Speaker 2: a very interesting day spending some time with former President
- 0:13Speaker 2: Donald Trump and some of your colleagues, and I want
- 0:15Speaker 2: to get your reaction to that.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right.
- 0:19Speaker 4: It is one twenty nine in the morning right now.
- 0:21Speaker 4: I just landed back in Texas, so I'm back home.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Always glad to be back home. But today I had
- 0:27Speaker 4: lunch with President Trump. He came by and he had
- 0:31Speaker 4: lunch with all the Republican senators. Before that, he met
- 0:33Speaker 4: with all the Republican House members. I'm going to tell
- 0:36Speaker 4: you about that lunch and and what all happened. Second,
- 0:39Speaker 4: we're going to talk about a new Inspector General report
- 0:43Speaker 4: from the Department of Homeland Security that blows the whistle
- 0:47Speaker 4: that the Biden administration is not vetting the illegal immigrants
- 0:53Speaker 4: they're releasing. They're not vetting them, and it's leading to
- 0:56Speaker 4: what we saw just this week, terrorists being released in
- 1:00Speaker 4: to this country who are preparing to commit major terrorist attack.
- 1:04Speaker 3: We're going to address that as well.
- 1:06Speaker 4: And finally, we're going to talk about what's going to
- 1:08Speaker 4: happen with Hunter Biden, and in particular, Joe Biden has
- 1:11Speaker 4: said that he will not pardon his son, but he
- 1:13Speaker 4: has not committed that he will not commute the sentence.
- 1:16Speaker 4: We're going to talk about what is likely what Biden
- 1:19Speaker 4: is likely to do about his son, and we're going
- 1:22Speaker 4: to get into that.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I want to do it.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I want to do a vertical live from Vegas just
- 1:25Speaker 2: so we can get some good odds on that one centaer.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I think we can make some serious cash off of
- 1:29Speaker 2: those promises coming from the White House. We need to
- 1:32Speaker 2: do a studio audience live there. Everybody get it on
- 1:34Speaker 2: the action.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's going to be.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Put a dollar on damn near any bet bet?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go. I love it.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Let me talk to you real quick about the economy
- 1:43Speaker 2: and with inflation still well above the Fed's target and
- 1:46Speaker 2: interest rates still at a what two decade plus hi
- 1:50Speaker 2: right now, people are looking for ways to protect their
- 1:53Speaker 2: hard earn money. And one way many are doing this
- 1:57Speaker 2: all over the world right now is with gold and silver. Now,
- 1:59Speaker 2: there are a lot of gold and silver companies out there,
- 2:02Speaker 2: but you want to make sure that you maximize your
- 2:05Speaker 2: savings and your investments, and that means finding a reputable
- 2:09Speaker 2: company that you can work with. I want you to
- 2:12Speaker 2: know about Freedom Gold USA. The number one reason why
- 2:15Speaker 2: I recommend them is for this reason. On average, they
- 2:18Speaker 2: charge twenty five to thirty percent less than most major
- 2:23Speaker 2: gold and silver firms. What does that mean. That means
- 2:26Speaker 2: you're maximizing your hard earned dollars and getting twenty five
- 2:31Speaker 2: to thirty percent more gold or silver in your account. Now,
- 2:35Speaker 2: when it comes to buying gold and silver, you need
- 2:37Speaker 2: someone you trust and you need to reach out to
- 2:40Speaker 2: Freedom Gold Usa. Freedom Gold USA is all about educating
- 2:44Speaker 2: their clients on how to invest in precious metals. They
- 2:47Speaker 2: will never tell you to put all your money in
- 2:49Speaker 2: gold or silver. There's a lot of companies out there
- 2:51Speaker 2: that do that every day. They do fear mongering. That
- 2:54Speaker 2: is not what Freedom Gold USA is about. They understand
- 2:57Speaker 2: that it's important to have a diversified financial portfolio, and
- 3:01Speaker 2: when it comes to gold and silver, they want you
- 3:03Speaker 2: to know that you have the right portfolio. Gold and
- 3:06Speaker 2: silver have historically been great hedges against inflation, a great
- 3:10Speaker 2: way to protect your hard earned retirement funds. So take
- 3:14Speaker 2: control of your financial future now and save. On average,
- 3:17Speaker 2: twenty five to thirty percent less is what you're going
- 3:20Speaker 2: to pay than most other major gold and silver firms.
- 3:23Speaker 2: When you work with Freedom Gold USA. They're online at
- 3:26Speaker 2: Freedomgoldusa dot com, slash verdict. That's freedom Goold Usa dot
- 3:33Speaker 2: com slash verdict, or call them one eight hundred six '
- 3:37Speaker 2: five five eight eight four three. That's one eight hundred
- 3:41Speaker 2: sixty five five eight eight four three and ask them
- 3:44Speaker 2: about getting free silver in your account today. Centaer, this
- 3:49Speaker 2: was a very interesting moment on Capitol Hill. Donald Trump
- 3:53Speaker 2: came and met with a lot of the Republican leadership.
- 3:58Speaker 2: A lot of your colleagues were there, and the initial
- 4:01Speaker 2: reports that came out were saying it was a lot
- 4:04Speaker 2: of enthusiasm and a lot of excitement from the Republican
- 4:08Speaker 2: leaders that were there. You were in the room, tell
- 4:10Speaker 2: us what was happening.
- 4:12Speaker 3: So I was.
- 4:13Speaker 5: So.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Trump began the day by meeting with the House Republicans.
- 4:16Speaker 3: I was not in that meeting.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Some of the reports of that as that was a
- 4:19Speaker 4: little bit wild and wooly, that got into all sorts
- 4:22Speaker 4: of topics. But Trump came by the Senate to have
- 4:25Speaker 4: lunch with us, and so we met at the National
- 4:28Speaker 4: Republican Senatorial Committee which is like three blocks away from
- 4:31Speaker 4: the Capitol, and Trump joined us for the lunch and
- 4:35Speaker 4: it started. We're all sitting sitting in a room. It
- 4:38Speaker 4: started with him talking for about oh, twenty twenty five minutes,
- 4:42Speaker 4: and then we did a whole series of Q and
- 4:45Speaker 4: A where probably about a dozen of us asked him
- 4:47Speaker 4: questions and he commented on those. And then we went
- 4:49Speaker 4: out and we did a press conference where we stood
- 4:52Speaker 4: we all stood behind him, and he stood up and
- 4:55Speaker 4: gave the press conference and listen, I gotta say the
- 4:58Speaker 4: biggest thing about the lunch that struck me was the
- 5:02Speaker 4: unity in the room. Look, the media likes to talk
- 5:04Speaker 4: about divisions and the Republican Party, and there are certainly some,
- 5:08Speaker 4: but today I didn't see any of that.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Today.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Everyone in the room was focused on winning in November
- 5:16Speaker 4: and turning the country around. And Trump was in great spirits.
- 5:19Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:19Speaker 4: One of the things I asked him after the meeting,
- 5:23Speaker 4: I came up and spent a couple of minutes talking
- 5:25Speaker 4: with him. I just asked, how are you doing? I mean,
- 5:26Speaker 4: it's been this BS you're dealing with with these New
- 5:30Speaker 4: York convictions, their utter garbage. But listen, it's not fun
- 5:35Speaker 4: to be convicted of felonies. I mean, it's been he's
- 5:39Speaker 4: been through hell, and so just as a personal level,
- 5:42Speaker 4: I was asking him how he was doing, and he
- 5:44Speaker 4: said he was doing fine, and it seemed real and genuine.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I mean, he was not He was not down in
- 5:49Speaker 4: the dumps. He was not discouraged. In fact, was he
- 5:52Speaker 4: was really in good spirits. He was optimistic. And his
- 5:55Speaker 4: message to everyone is listen, let's stand togetherize several things.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Number one, he emphasize the border, that we've got to
- 6:03Speaker 4: secure the border, that it is insane that we have
- 6:06Speaker 4: open borders, that it's an invitation to terrorists.
- 6:09Speaker 3: And he's exactly right.
- 6:11Speaker 4: If and when Trump wins, we will secure the border
- 6:14Speaker 4: in the first month or two of the next Trump administration.
- 6:17Speaker 4: And I can say that because we know how to
- 6:20Speaker 4: do it. We did it before, and we'll do it again.
- 6:23Speaker 4: He also talked a lot about inflation and energy in particular,
- 6:27Speaker 4: and he pointed out quite rightly that energy is foundational
- 6:30Speaker 4: to inflation. One of the reasons that prices have gone
- 6:33Speaker 4: up on just about everything is that energy prices of
- 6:36Speaker 4: skyrocketed because the Biden administration has been waging war on
- 6:41Speaker 4: American energy and we are an energy powerhouse where the
- 6:45Speaker 4: number one producer of oil in the world, where the
- 6:47Speaker 4: number one producer of natural gas in the world, and
- 6:49Speaker 4: the Biden administration is doing everything they can to stifle that.
- 6:53Speaker 4: And Trump was very clear that we're going to reverse that.
- 6:56Speaker 4: We will reverse that fast early next year, and that's
- 7:01Speaker 4: going to have a real impact on energy prices and
- 7:03Speaker 4: inflation across the board. We also talked about national security
- 7:07Speaker 4: and in particular how insane it is that the Biden
- 7:11Speaker 4: administration has flowed one hundred billion dollars to Iran and
- 7:15Speaker 4: if and when Trump wins, that's going to end as well.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You mentioned a moment ago that there seemed to be
- 7:21Speaker 2: unity in the room. That's incredibly important for getting legislation passed. Yes,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and you need that, and we didn't have that type
- 7:30Speaker 2: of unity. I would argue last time in twenty sixteen,
- 7:34Speaker 2: early on, there was some splinters. There was somede divisiveness
- 7:38Speaker 2: in the House that Senate side. What you seem to
- 7:41Speaker 2: be describing this time is if Donald Trump is elected
- 7:44Speaker 2: and Republicans have control of the House Senate, it's game
- 7:47Speaker 2: on from the from January tecond there's not going to
- 7:51Speaker 2: be you know, let's get to know each other time
- 7:53Speaker 2: and have some meetings and maybe come over the White
- 7:55Speaker 2: House like there's an agenda and it's ready to go
- 7:57Speaker 2: for the American people.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that that's exactly right.
- 8:00Speaker 4: And let me put it in broader context, which is,
- 8:03Speaker 4: yesterday the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, came and
- 8:07Speaker 4: had lunch with all the Republican senators. And by the way,
- 8:10Speaker 4: that almost never happens. When Paul Ryan was speaker, he
- 8:13Speaker 4: didn't do that. When John Bayner was Speaker, he didn't
- 8:15Speaker 4: do that. When Kevin McCarthy was speaker, he didn't do that.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Mike Johnson has done that this multiple times. This is
- 8:21Speaker 4: either the third or fourth time he's come and had
- 8:24Speaker 4: lunch with all the Senate Republicans.
- 8:25Speaker 3: I think that's great. He was talking at lunch yesterday.
- 8:28Speaker 4: He said, you know, it's amazing that the media treats
- 8:30Speaker 4: it as a news story that the House and senator
- 8:34Speaker 4: talking to each other. And the reason he came over
- 8:37Speaker 4: and talked to us is is he said he's focused
- 8:40Speaker 4: on his end, very much on developing the agenda and
- 8:44Speaker 4: the plans to hit the ground running if and when
- 8:48Speaker 4: we win in November, if we come in to January
- 8:51Speaker 4: of next year with a Republican president, Republican Senate, Republican House.
- 8:55Speaker 4: We got an enormous amount to accomplish. And the Speaker,
- 8:59Speaker 4: to his credit, is very focused on the first one
- 9:02Speaker 4: hundred days. What can we accomplish, what can we do
- 9:05Speaker 4: to change the path of the country. I encouraged him
- 9:08Speaker 4: to dig in on that. In fact, I shared with
- 9:11Speaker 4: a speaker and with everyone else in the room. You know,
- 9:14Speaker 4: a lot of the senators that are there now were
- 9:17Speaker 4: not there back in twenty seventeen when Trump first became president.
- 9:21Speaker 4: You Know, the Speaker said, look, when Trump first became president,
- 9:24Speaker 4: he was a freshman, he was brand new in the Congress,
- 9:27Speaker 4: and he was amazed that the Congress was not prepared
- 9:31Speaker 4: with a legislative agenda from day one. And he pointed
- 9:34Speaker 4: out that he thought a lot of Republicans were surprised
- 9:36Speaker 4: that Trump won. They were expecting Hillary to win, and
- 9:40Speaker 4: so when the administration came in, they weren't ready for primetime.
- 9:43Speaker 3: They didn't know what to do.
- 9:45Speaker 4: In this instance, I'm very glad the Speaker is trying
- 9:47Speaker 4: to think proactively. And I described I described something that
- 9:51Speaker 4: I did back in the summer of twenty eighteen. So
- 9:55Speaker 4: summer of twenty eighteen, we did a lunch with all
- 10:00Speaker 4: the Senate Republicans and I prepared a PowerPoint. It was
- 10:04Speaker 4: about fifty pages long, and I spoke to my colleagues
- 10:08Speaker 4: probably the better part of an hour. And the title
- 10:11Speaker 4: of the PowerPoint was carpe dim And what I did
- 10:15Speaker 4: in the PowerPoint is I looked in the past, in
- 10:19Speaker 4: previous instances when one party controlled the White House, the House,
- 10:24Speaker 4: and the Senate. It happens pretty rarely. When the Democrats
- 10:27Speaker 4: do it, they fundamentally transformed the country. So in the
- 10:32Speaker 4: last century, the first time they did it, they passed
- 10:36Speaker 4: the New Deal. The second time they did it, they
- 10:39Speaker 4: passed the Great Society. The third time they did it,
- 10:43Speaker 4: they passed Obamacare and Dodd Frank. And now for the
- 10:46Speaker 4: last two years we've seen they've spent us into an
- 10:50Speaker 4: absolute inflation and recession home. And on the other hand, Republicans,
- 10:59Speaker 4: when we have unified control, we tend to do small
- 11:01Speaker 4: and piddling things. So what I argued in the PowerPoint is,
- 11:07Speaker 4: at the time I presented it was August of twenty eighteen,
- 11:10Speaker 4: I said, listen, any rational political observer recognizes that there's
- 11:16Speaker 4: a very real chance that we will lose at least
- 11:18Speaker 4: one House of Congress in November. And I said to
- 11:22Speaker 4: my colleagues, particularly the guys who were the sophomores, who
- 11:25Speaker 4: were the people who had been elected two years earlier,
- 11:29Speaker 4: and I said, look for you, guys, we have one
- 11:35Speaker 4: hundred and eighty three days till the next Congress.
- 11:38Speaker 3: For many of you.
- 11:39Speaker 4: If we do not pass things now, you will never
- 11:43Speaker 4: again have another chance to pass anything into law. And
- 11:46Speaker 4: so I put together a spreadsheet. It was about fifty
- 11:49Speaker 4: different bills. All of the bills had been written by
- 11:52Speaker 4: different Republican senators. Some I had written, but most of
- 11:55Speaker 4: them were my colleagues. And all of the bills were
- 11:59Speaker 4: bills that had a reasonable prospect of garnering fifty one votes.
- 12:05Speaker 4: They weren't fringe things that would get ten or twelve votes.
- 12:08Speaker 4: They were all things that would easily get forty five
- 12:12Speaker 4: Republicans and that had a real shot at getting fifty.
- 12:15Speaker 4: And what I argued is, I said, listen, this is
- 12:19Speaker 4: going to sound radical to you, Ben, we should do something,
- 12:27Speaker 4: We should not do nothing. Amazingly enough, that argument proved unpersuasive.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Mitch McConnell said well, so the principal avenue that if
- 12:42Speaker 4: you look, the biggest legislative victory of the Trump years
- 12:45Speaker 4: was the twenty seventeen tax cuts. We passed that using
- 12:50Speaker 4: what's called budget reconciliation. Budget reconciliation is a process under
- 12:55Speaker 4: a bill called the Budget Acted nineteen seventy five. The
- 12:59Speaker 4: budget p is not terribly consequential. What's consequential is, under
- 13:02Speaker 4: the terms of the statute, you have an up down
- 13:06Speaker 4: vote at fifty votes and it can't be filibustered. So
- 13:09Speaker 4: it's one of the most important exceptions to the filibuster
- 13:14Speaker 4: we could have. If you look at the Democrats, they
- 13:17Speaker 4: did three budget reconciliations. It's how they passed almost all
- 13:21Speaker 4: of their agenda that put us in this hole. When
- 13:24Speaker 4: the Republicans had the majority, we did only one budget reconciliation.
- 13:29Speaker 4: We did not do a single one in twenty eighteen, which, frankly,
- 13:32Speaker 4: ben is indefensible. And so I made the case of
- 13:34Speaker 4: the Speaker and my colleagues, let's not make that mistake again.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Let's hit the ground running.
- 13:40Speaker 1: This seems different.
- 13:41Speaker 2: And even when I say different, there's also a lot
- 13:45Speaker 2: of people behind the scenes that are working on putting
- 13:47Speaker 2: together a Trump administration and a government and learning from
- 13:52Speaker 2: the mistakes that happened in twenty sixteen.
- 13:55Speaker 1: How encouraged are you by that?
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, I've had quite a few people I know
- 13:59Speaker 2: that that I've talked to in many different areas of
- 14:02Speaker 2: government who are saying, this just feels different.
- 14:07Speaker 1: This time. We learned from our mistakes in sixteen.
- 14:11Speaker 2: We learn from our inaction and people that we should
- 14:14Speaker 2: have replaced and changed with conservative minds, and we've witnessed
- 14:18Speaker 2: what happens when you do that. But this time it's
- 14:20Speaker 2: going to be different. That may be the thing I'm
- 14:22Speaker 2: the most excited about is if we had, like you mentioned,
- 14:26Speaker 2: a House and Senate ready to go, but also many
- 14:29Speaker 2: of the bureaucrats that have been changed out very quickly
- 14:32Speaker 2: this time.
- 14:32Speaker 1: That seems to be the plan.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Well.
- 14:35Speaker 4: In twenty sixteen, I think Trump's winning surprised a lot
- 14:39Speaker 4: of people. It surprised a lot of Republicans in the Senate,
- 14:42Speaker 4: it surprised a lot of Republicans in the House. It
- 14:45Speaker 4: frankly surprised the Trump campaign team, and I think it
- 14:47Speaker 4: actually surprised Trump himself. On election Day, I think they
- 14:52Speaker 4: were all a little bit startled that they had won
- 14:54Speaker 4: and suddenly, holdly, cow, we're going to go do this now.
- 14:59Speaker 4: And and so it resulted in when the administration came
- 15:03Speaker 4: in in the beginning of twenty seventeen, in Congress, Republican
- 15:07Speaker 4: leadership of the House and Senate was not prepared with
- 15:09Speaker 4: an agenda because they had assumed Hillary was going to
- 15:12Speaker 4: win and they didn't need one, and the White House
- 15:15Speaker 4: did not have the experience to know how to drive
- 15:18Speaker 4: an agenda. There was no first one hundred Days mission.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And you're right, there's a whole series of nonprofits that
- 15:25Speaker 4: are engaged in laying out specific plans for executive orders,
- 15:31Speaker 4: for regulations, for legislation, and whether it is the America
- 15:36Speaker 4: First Policy Institute or the Heritage Foundation or others. I
- 15:40Speaker 4: think if and when Trump wins this November, we will
- 15:45Speaker 4: hit January with a much much better level of preparation
- 15:49Speaker 4: to make a lasting difference immediately.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you mentioned the border, and I want to talk
- 15:55Speaker 2: more about that in a moment, But first I want
- 15:57Speaker 2: to talk to you real quick. If you're a guy
- 16:00Speaker 2: and you're like me, and you've gotten a little bit
- 16:01Speaker 2: older and you feel like you've lost that edge, you
- 16:04Speaker 2: don't have the energy you used to have fatigue sits
- 16:06Speaker 2: in quickly. Now you want to be active, you want
- 16:09Speaker 2: to work out, but it's just not like it used
- 16:12Speaker 2: to be.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Well, the problem is very clear.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It's men's testosterum levels are off a cliff historically at
- 16:19Speaker 2: an all time low. And that's the problem that so
- 16:23Speaker 2: many guys as they end up getting to their forties
- 16:25Speaker 2: and above, end up having that major drop in testosterum. Well, thankfully,
- 16:30Speaker 2: the patriots at Chalk Choq are helping real American men
- 16:35Speaker 2: take back their right to proudly maximize their masculinity by
- 16:39Speaker 2: boosting testosterum levels up to twenty percent over ninety days.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Now.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I've been taking Chalk's Male Vitality Stack for over a year.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Now here's the best part. I am now down about
- 16:51Speaker 2: sixty pounds from where I was a year ago. I've
- 16:54Speaker 2: been taking Chalk and I got to give it a
- 16:56Speaker 2: lot of credit. It has given me that energy that
- 17:00Speaker 2: I needed to get back into my routines of working out.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Manufactured writer here in the USFA, Chalk's natural herbal supplements
- 17:07Speaker 2: are clinically proven and I witness this every day to
- 17:11Speaker 2: have game changing effects on your energy, your focus, and
- 17:14Speaker 2: your mood. So if you're ready to get back in
- 17:17Speaker 2: the game, if you're sick and tired of feeling sick
- 17:20Speaker 2: and tired or just fatigued, then do what I did.

- 17:45Speaker 2: promo code vertict. Let's deal with one aspect of the
- 17:50Speaker 2: border real quick center. You guys talked about that. It's
- 17:53Speaker 2: something that really I think catapulted Trump to get the
- 17:58Speaker 2: presidency in sixteen when he talked about building the damn wall,
- 18:02Speaker 2: and it clicked with a lot of Americans. Now the President,
- 18:05Speaker 2: Joe Biden the other day tried to help Mary and said,
- 18:08Speaker 2: all right, I'm gonna do some executive action here on
- 18:10Speaker 2: the southern border. But a new poll reveals that Biden's
- 18:14Speaker 2: border security move fails to set up five voters. As
- 18:19Speaker 2: the crisis continues. In other words, the American people are saying,
- 18:23Speaker 2: we're not taking the bait this time. We are seeing
- 18:26Speaker 2: your executive order is pretty much worthless. It is not
- 18:29Speaker 2: shutting down illegal crossings at the southern border. This on
- 18:32Speaker 2: top of the fact that we have now people that
- 18:34Speaker 2: are on the Terrace watch list and those connected isis
- 18:37Speaker 2: K that crossed the southern border and got into this
- 18:41Speaker 2: country that way, and then they let him go, and
- 18:44Speaker 2: so now they've been arrested the last week, and then
- 18:46Speaker 2: we got another warning center this week about we're not
- 18:49Speaker 2: doing a good enough job betting the people that are
- 18:51Speaker 2: coming across that we are catching.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Well, that's exactly right. And listen, I think Democrats believe
- 19:00Speaker 4: that the American people, the voters, are stupid and that
- 19:03Speaker 4: they're easily deceived by an announcement that Biden's got an
- 19:06Speaker 4: executive order to secure the border good, the problems fixed.
- 19:09Speaker 4: I don't think the voters are stupid. I think they've
- 19:11Speaker 4: got an enormous amount of common sense. And at this point,
- 19:14Speaker 4: anyone who's paying attention even a tiny bit knows that
- 19:18Speaker 4: this invasion at our southern border is deliberate. It's what
- 19:22Speaker 4: the Democrats want, It's what Joe Biden wants, it's what's
- 19:24Speaker 4: Kamala Harris wants, it's what every Democrat in the Senate,
- 19:27Speaker 4: in the House wants. I think people get that, and
- 19:31Speaker 4: that's one of the challenges the Biden campaigns trying to
- 19:34Speaker 4: deceive them and saying no, no, no, no, it's not Biden.
- 19:37Speaker 4: He's trying to fix it. I don't think people are
- 19:39Speaker 4: going to buy that. But as you noted, just an
- 19:43Speaker 4: additional piece of evidence that's really quite compelling and quite
- 19:46Speaker 4: concerning is that there's a brand new report that came
- 19:49Speaker 4: out this week from the Inspector General of the Department
- 19:53Speaker 4: of Homeland Security, and the DHS Inspector General concludes number one,
- 19:58Speaker 4: that DHS has not been a effectively screening non citizens
- 20:03Speaker 4: and asylum seekers. Number two that CBP can't access all
- 20:10Speaker 4: federal data to complete thorough screening and vetting. And number three,
- 20:16Speaker 4: the DHS Inspector General in the Biden administration concluded as
- 20:20Speaker 4: following quote, DHS will remain at risk of admitting dangerous
- 20:26Speaker 4: persons into the country or enabling asylum seekers who may
- 20:31Speaker 4: post significant threats to public safety and national security to
- 20:36Speaker 4: continue to reside in the United States end quote until
- 20:40Speaker 4: these challenges are addressed. This is a bombshell report from
- 20:45Speaker 4: the Inspector General and so of course the corporate media
- 20:48Speaker 4: is ignoring it altogether.
- 20:50Speaker 2: You look at this, there's so many warnings, and we've
- 20:53Speaker 2: seen the FBI give their warnings that the director there
- 20:56Speaker 2: has given his warnings and he says that it is
- 20:59Speaker 2: a very concerning and real national security threat of the
- 21:02Speaker 2: open southern border. You then put this combined with ISIS
- 21:06Speaker 2: and what you just talked about, and you have to
- 21:09Speaker 2: ask yourself the question who is to blame for being
- 21:12Speaker 2: asleep at the wheel here or is it just Democrats say, Look,
- 21:16Speaker 2: we're willing to sacrifice some Americans, some of you are
- 21:20Speaker 2: going to die in a terrorist attack one day, but
- 21:22Speaker 2: we got in twenty million illegal immigrants and.
- 21:24Speaker 1: That was worth it for us.
- 21:26Speaker 2: How do you look at this subject now knowing these
- 21:29Speaker 2: warnings are coming now from people I think inside of
- 21:31Speaker 2: our government under Biden, who are trying to cover the
- 21:33Speaker 2: rear ends.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Well, Listen in terms of Washington Democrats, the Democrats in
- 21:38Speaker 4: the Senate of the House, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
- 21:41Speaker 4: and the executive branch ben To be honest, I don't
- 21:44Speaker 4: think they give a damn. I have seen no evidence.
- 21:48Speaker 1: That's my worry.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It's like it's almost like it's, well, it's the price
- 21:52Speaker 2: that we're willing to pay. We're willing to sacrifice safety, security,
- 21:55Speaker 2: and in reality, if you compare it to what isis
- 21:58Speaker 2: K did in Russia, American lives to get what we
- 22:02Speaker 2: ultimately what we want, which is a new voting block.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Look, I think the Democrats right now in Congress are
- 22:08Speaker 4: incredibly cynical and the only thing they're focused on is
- 22:11Speaker 4: what will keep them in power, what will ensure that
- 22:14Speaker 4: they're more and more and more and more Democrat voters.
- 22:18Speaker 4: And I think they look at the eleven million people
- 22:20Speaker 4: they've allowed into this country illegally and they view them
- 22:24Speaker 4: all as future Democrat voters. Now, some of them, I
- 22:27Speaker 4: think they are counting on voting illegally this election, and
- 22:32Speaker 4: the rest of them, I think they're counting on voting
- 22:35Speaker 4: legally once a Democrat administration gets into office and grants
- 22:41Speaker 4: them amnesty. And so I think from their view, they
- 22:44Speaker 4: are fundamentally remaking the demographics of this country and they're
- 22:47Speaker 4: trying to remake it in a way that ensures that
- 22:50Speaker 4: Democrats remain in power forever. And the thing that is
- 22:53Speaker 4: tragic is they're more than happy. The Democrats are more
- 22:57Speaker 4: than happy to look the other way if the people die,
- 23:00Speaker 4: at the people dying crossing the border day after day
- 23:04Speaker 4: after day, the migrants dying, They're perfectly happy to look
- 23:08Speaker 4: the other way. At the children being brutalized. They're perfectly
- 23:11Speaker 4: happy to look the other way at the women being
- 23:14Speaker 4: repeatedly sexually assaulted. They're perfectly happy to look away at
- 23:18Speaker 4: all of the victims of crime we've seen all across
- 23:21Speaker 4: the country from illegal aliens that the Biden administration is released,
- 23:26Speaker 4: and most inexplicably, they have to date been perfectly happy
- 23:31Speaker 4: to look the other way at the growing and deeply
- 23:35Speaker 4: troubling risk of a major terrorist attack in the United
- 23:38Speaker 4: States from illegal aliens that the Biden administration is released
- 23:42Speaker 4: among us.
- 23:44Speaker 2: During your time serving in the Senate, have you ever
- 23:47Speaker 2: seen this many warnings on a national security issue? Now
- 23:51Speaker 2: come before you, guys publicly, because it's not just like
- 23:54Speaker 2: one person as a whistleblower. You're talking about the head
- 23:57Speaker 2: of the FBI, You're now talking about the DHA Inspector General.
- 24:01Speaker 2: You're talking about others with a Department of Home and Security,
- 24:04Speaker 2: border patrol agents, the Border Union. I mean, they're all
- 24:07Speaker 2: singing now the same tune. Which is we're sitting on
- 24:11Speaker 2: a time bomb.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Well, I think the facts have gotten so overwhelming that
- 24:15Speaker 4: they had no choice. If you look at Christopher Ray,
- 24:19Speaker 4: who is the head of the FBI, he has testified
- 24:22Speaker 4: now repeatedly in front of Congress, and he said there
- 24:25Speaker 4: is an enormous risk of a terrorist attack in the
- 24:27Speaker 4: United States. It is from our southern border. We are
- 24:30Speaker 4: all vulnerable, and we've got to step up and fight
- 24:32Speaker 4: back on this. As you know, I know Chris Ray
- 24:35Speaker 4: very very well. We both clerked for the same Court
- 24:38Speaker 4: of Appeals judge. I've known Chris Ray for thirty years.
- 24:42Speaker 4: I think he's a good man. Interestingly enough, he's not
- 24:46Speaker 4: a Democrat. I think he fully considers himself a Republican.
- 24:50Speaker 4: And my fault with Chris Ray, which I've articulated multiple times,
- 24:55Speaker 4: is that I think he's a company man. I think
- 24:59Speaker 4: his view of his job as the FBI director is
- 25:04Speaker 4: to defend the career employees at the FBI, to circle
- 25:08Speaker 4: the wagons around the senior leadership. And that might in
- 25:11Speaker 4: an ordinary circumstance make sense, but it doesn't make sense
- 25:15Speaker 4: here when you have hardcore partisans who have burrowed into
- 25:21Speaker 4: senior leadership. Positions and who are corrupting the integrity of
- 25:25Speaker 4: the FBI. That being said, Chris Ray keeps going to
- 25:28Speaker 4: Congress and saying people, the risk of a terrorist attack
- 25:32Speaker 4: is enormous. He's trying to ring the bell because he's
- 25:36Speaker 4: looking at the intel. Look, let me read you from
- 25:40Speaker 4: just the opening page of the report from the Inspector
- 25:43Speaker 4: General at the Department Homeland Security. It says, quote what
- 25:48Speaker 4: we found the Department of Homeland Securities technology procedures and coordination,
- 25:54Speaker 4: we're not fully effective to screen and vet non citizens
- 25:57Speaker 4: applying for admission into the United States or asylum seekers
- 26:01Speaker 4: whose asylum applications were pending for an extended period. Although
- 26:06Speaker 4: US Customs and Border Protection deployed new technologies to enhance
- 26:11Speaker 4: traveler screening, it could not access all federal data necessary
- 26:17Speaker 4: to ensure complete screening and vetting of non citizens seeking
- 26:21Speaker 4: admission to the United States. In addition, CBP used varied
- 26:27Speaker 4: and sometimes inconsistent inspection procedures for travelers arriving in vehicles
- 26:34Speaker 4: at land ports of entry. Finally, CBP does not have
- 26:38Speaker 4: the technology to perform biometric matching on travelers arriving in
- 26:42Speaker 4: vehicles at land ports of entry. Once a non citizen
- 26:47Speaker 4: files an asylum application. US Citizenship and Immigration Services conducts
- 26:53Speaker 4: screening and vetting to verify each asylum applicants' identity and
- 26:59Speaker 4: determine their ability. However, USCIS did not always complete timely
- 27:07Speaker 4: screenings for more than four hundred thousand affirmative asylum app
- 27:14Speaker 4: applicants who filed for asylum between October twenty seventeen and
- 27:19Speaker 4: March twenty twenty three, four hundred thousand. Additionally, USCIS does
- 27:26Speaker 4: not have a dedicated procedure or comprehensive technology solution to
- 27:32Speaker 4: perform interim screening of asylum applicants whose cases were not
- 27:37Speaker 4: adjudicated within the required one hundred and eighty day timeframe.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So you look at all of that, and it reminds
- 27:46Speaker 2: me so much of nine to eleven, when we found
- 27:48Speaker 2: out afterwards, Yes, everybody wasn't talking to each other, the
- 27:51Speaker 2: FBI and the CIA weren't talking to another, and so
- 27:55Speaker 2: things were falling through the cracks. Except this time they're
- 27:59Speaker 2: all saying, are falling through the cracks before the attack,
- 28:02Speaker 2: not after. Is there any chance that we can get
- 28:06Speaker 2: this together quickly enough to fix it before it's too eight?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Or is this just now an administration's decision of hey,
- 28:15Speaker 2: we know what we're doing here, we know the risk,
- 28:18Speaker 2: and we're okay with it.
- 28:21Speaker 4: I think there's no chance with this administration. Look look
- 28:24Speaker 4: Joe Biden. It is terrifying. Joe Biden is utterly absent.
- 28:28Speaker 4: He is not competent to do the job.
- 28:31Speaker 3: He's in.
- 28:31Speaker 4: Kamala Harris is a dumpster fire. Alejandro Majorcas is brazenly
- 28:39Speaker 4: defying the law and is in fact presiding over the
- 28:42Speaker 4: criminal invasion of this country. Merrick Garland is so politicized
- 28:46Speaker 4: the Department of Justice is not going to do anything.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I do not believe these individuals will change their behavior.
- 28:53Speaker 4: They've made the devil's bargain that they will destroy our
- 28:58Speaker 4: country in order to let enough illegal immigrants into this
- 29:02Speaker 4: country to ensure they stay in power. And so I
- 29:06Speaker 4: think the only only only answer is for Republicans to
- 29:11Speaker 4: win in November, for Trump to win reelection, and for
- 29:14Speaker 4: us to win the Senate in the House.
- 29:16Speaker 1: This June marks two years since the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
- 29:21Speaker 2: But did you know that the number of abortions actually
- 29:23Speaker 2: increase the following year. In twenty twenty three, the amount
- 29:28Speaker 2: of abortions reach its highest level since twenty twelve, with
- 29:32Speaker 2: the abortion pill accounting for up to sixty three percent
- 29:35Speaker 2: of all abortions. It's tragically no surprise. Well, there is
- 29:40Speaker 2: one organization that is helping women choose life, and Preborn
- 29:45Speaker 2: continues to stand strong for women in crisis and at
- 29:49Speaker 2: risk babies. Preborn is a ministry of compassion that showers
- 29:53Speaker 2: women and babies with God's love, providing free ultrasounds to
- 29:57Speaker 2: mothers with unplanned pregnancies to introduce them to the precious
- 30:01Speaker 2: life growing inside of them. When a mother meets her
- 30:05Speaker 2: baby on ultrasound and here's their heartbeat, she is twice
- 30:10Speaker 2: as likely to choose life.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Let me say that again.
- 30:12Speaker 2: When a mother meets her baby on ultrasound and here's
- 30:16Speaker 2: her baby's heartbeat, she is twice as likely to choose life.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Twenty eight dollars sponsors one ultrasound, and that's where you
- 30:25Speaker 2: come in, and one and forty dollars can actually help
- 30:28Speaker 2: to rescue five babies. Your generous tax deductible donation will
- 30:34Speaker 2: also help to provide women who choose life with assistance
- 30:38Speaker 2: from up to two years after they choose life. So
- 30:41Speaker 2: if you're ready to stand up to plan parenthood, then
- 30:45Speaker 2: please give your best gift. To donate, all you have
- 30:48Speaker 2: to do is dial pound two fifty and say the
- 30:52Speaker 2: keyword baby. That's pound two point fifty on your phone,
- 30:56Speaker 2: say the keyword baby. Or you can visit preborn slash verdict.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That's preborn dot com slash verdict preborn dot com slash verdict. Senator,
- 31:10Speaker 2: a moment ago you mentioned the President, you said you
- 31:12Speaker 2: think he is at this point clearly incompetent. He is
- 31:16Speaker 2: a guy that is his own just department said he
- 31:19Speaker 2: couldn't stand trial. He thinks he would be incompetence trial.
- 31:22Speaker 2: We've seen several videos come out over the last couple
- 31:25Speaker 2: of days of the President looking clearly like he's lost
- 31:28Speaker 2: at events, not knowing what's going on, and slurring his words.
- 31:33Speaker 2: But there does seem to be one issue that he's
- 31:35Speaker 2: still very much honed in on, and that is the
- 31:39Speaker 2: number one issue of taken care of his son, Hunter Biden.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Joe Biden has claimed he's not going to give a
- 31:45Speaker 2: pardon to his son, but we also know that Joe
- 31:49Speaker 2: Biden in the White House is very much getting the
- 31:51Speaker 2: idea out there. So people will, I guess, be okay
- 31:54Speaker 2: with it that he may commute his son Hunter sentence.
- 31:58Speaker 2: The question is will be smart enough to do this
- 32:01Speaker 2: after election day? And is it even a bigger possibility
- 32:06Speaker 2: that he may just be flat out lying and he's
- 32:08Speaker 2: going to just straight up pardon him.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Well, look, the odds are significant. I believe that Joe
- 32:15Speaker 4: Biden pardons his son, and I think it all hinges
- 32:19Speaker 4: on what happens in November. I think if Joe Biden loses,
- 32:23Speaker 4: then he will pardon Hunter. In November December, he will
- 32:28Speaker 4: pardon Hunter before leaving. If Joe Biden wins, it gets
- 32:32Speaker 4: more complicated. I think he will want a pardon Hunter.
- 32:35Speaker 4: But if he's starting a second term and he's got
- 32:37Speaker 4: four years to go, I think his political team will
- 32:41Speaker 4: be terrified that pardoning Hunter, especially after you promised the
- 32:45Speaker 4: American people you would not, would do irreparable damage to him.
- 32:50Speaker 4: And so what I think is likely is if he wins,
- 32:55Speaker 4: instead of pardoning Hunter, that he will commute the sentence.
- 32:57Speaker 4: Commuting the sentence basically says, Okay, no more jail time
- 33:01Speaker 4: for you.
- 33:01Speaker 3: You can go.
- 33:01Speaker 4: You're still a felon, You're still a convicted felon, you
- 33:04Speaker 4: still have many of the detriments of being a felon,
- 33:07Speaker 4: but you're wearing a bulletproof vest, so it is at
- 33:09Speaker 4: least much much harder to kill you. I think the
- 33:13Speaker 4: two options are Biden loses, he pardons Hunter. Biden wins,
- 33:18Speaker 4: he commutes Hunter's sentence and lets him go from jail.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You look at the White House, and what you said
- 33:26Speaker 2: would directly contradict what the White House has said. The
- 33:28Speaker 2: White House Press Secretary Jean Pierre saying this second one
- 33:32Speaker 2: with a cousin.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Pardon or commute his son if he's convicted. So I've
- 33:36Speaker 1: answered this question before.
- 33:37Speaker 5: It was asked of me not too long ago, a
- 33:39Speaker 5: couple of weeks ago, and I was very clear and
- 33:41Speaker 5: I said no.
- 33:43Speaker 2: I mean she didn't just say pardon. She also said
- 33:46Speaker 2: commute the sentence. The president will not do it. No,
- 33:49Speaker 2: And I guess that's a smart political answer going into
- 33:51Speaker 2: November and then after you win, who cares?
- 33:54Speaker 1: Right you?
- 33:55Speaker 2: Why to the American people on quote having a secure
- 33:58Speaker 2: border when they know they're what you're lying to. You'll
- 34:00Speaker 2: look at him in the face. You tell him Bidnomics
- 34:02Speaker 2: is working with every American turning. You tell people the
- 34:05Speaker 2: economy is strong and great right now, when it's clearly not.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I mean, these are the lies that they tell every
- 34:10Speaker 2: single day, so why not lie on this one?
- 34:12Speaker 4: Well and listen, Kareeine Jean Pierre does that every day.
- 34:15Speaker 4: We have detailed at great lengths the deliberate lies she
- 34:19Speaker 4: has told for the White House Briefing room. The one
- 34:22Speaker 4: that is still the most galling is when she stood
- 34:24Speaker 4: up there and said, you know, people are not just
- 34:25Speaker 4: walking across our border. That's not happening, and that is
- 34:29Speaker 4: such a brazen lie. You'll recall on this podcast. I
- 34:32Speaker 4: invited to take Kareeine down to the border any day
- 34:35Speaker 4: of the week and we would go out on patrol
- 34:39Speaker 4: and we would find illegals crossing day after day after day.
- 34:43Speaker 4: That's how we got to eleven million illegals. She did
- 34:45Speaker 4: not take me up on that invitation, but I will
- 34:48Speaker 4: tell you multiple times over the last two years she's
- 34:51Speaker 4: gotten in arguments with this podcast, with points you and
- 34:55Speaker 4: I have made on the podcast that she's been forced
- 34:57Speaker 4: to stand up at the White House Press briefing and defense.
- 35:00Speaker 4: And actually one of our good friends, Kaylie Mcanany on Fox,
- 35:06Speaker 4: has put together a compilation of Kareem John Pierre's repeated
- 35:10Speaker 4: flip flops and repeated lies.
- 35:12Speaker 7: Take a listen, Hunter Biden, I want you to watch
- 35:16Speaker 7: this closely because I'm very confused. Kareem John Pierre was
- 35:19Speaker 7: asked her Eagagle yesterday if President Biden would commute Tunner sentence.
- 35:24Speaker 7: We know he said he would impart him. Would he
- 35:26Speaker 7: commute it? She answered very differently than she did on
- 35:28Speaker 7: September fifteenth, twenty twenty three. Watched the two answers.
- 35:36Speaker 5: What I'm saying is that the President I am not
- 35:38Speaker 5: spoken to the President about this, And what I'm saying
- 35:41Speaker 5: is he was asked about a pardon, he was asked
- 35:43Speaker 5: about he was asked about the trial specifically, and he
- 35:48Speaker 5: answered it very clearly, very forthright. As we know the sentence.
- 35:52Speaker 5: He hasn't even been scheduled yet. I don't have anything beyond.
- 35:55Speaker 4: What the President said. He spent very clear about this.
- 35:59Speaker 8: Checond one with the president or commute his son if
- 36:02Speaker 8: he's convicted.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I've answered this question before.
- 36:04Speaker 5: It was asked of me not too long ago, a
- 36:06Speaker 5: couple of weeks ago, and I was very clear and
- 36:08Speaker 5: I said.
- 36:08Speaker 7: No, that's confusing.
- 36:11Speaker 1: That's a change. Yes it is.
- 36:14Speaker 8: I think she's clearly leaving the door open for America
- 36:17Speaker 8: to accept, frankly, a commutation inevitably, which who would be
- 36:20Speaker 8: surprised given the person at the helm. You were making
- 36:23Speaker 8: some great points of it, Hunter, I want to just
- 36:24Speaker 8: give you some space to make them too.
- 36:26Speaker 6: I just think that their real risk here is that
- 36:29Speaker 6: he is a vulnerability if he were to be facing
- 36:32Speaker 6: jail and flip and I know that's people. Oh my god,
- 36:35Speaker 6: he'd never flip me. If you read the text messages
- 36:38Speaker 6: and some of the stuff that's in evidence already in
- 36:40Speaker 6: the cases he's facing. There's no love loss between Hunter
- 36:45Speaker 6: and some of the members of the Biden family. Let's
- 36:47Speaker 6: just put it this way. He's not on the same
- 36:48Speaker 6: page with Jill. He's got issues with the uncle. I
- 36:51Speaker 6: think the uncle is actually the one that's the most vulnerable,
- 36:53Speaker 6: particularly in the area of the Chinese money. They can't
- 36:56Speaker 6: afford to have him turn hostile. And that's why once
- 36:58Speaker 6: his legal troubles conquered, all of a sudden, he's at
- 37:01Speaker 6: the White House, he's on the plane he's going to do,
- 37:04Speaker 6: you know, with on trips with Joe Biden, keeping.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Him close by the way.
- 37:09Speaker 2: One thing there that I do want to ask your
- 37:11Speaker 2: opinion of, there was some criticism of Joe Biden flying
- 37:15Speaker 2: back and forth to the trial. They were holding hands,
- 37:18Speaker 2: walking in and out of the courtroom, and coming back
- 37:23Speaker 2: from overseas to make appearances.
- 37:26Speaker 1: The point that was made there about.
- 37:27Speaker 2: The liability, like, hey, we got to keep him close
- 37:30Speaker 2: because if we're not sure he could even handle Jawn.
- 37:33Speaker 2: If he did, then what could happen to the other
- 37:36Speaker 2: family members. It's a very interesting perspective and point, especially
- 37:40Speaker 2: if you go back and read some of the things
- 37:42Speaker 2: that he has said and written in his own words.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I got to say I don't actually agree with
- 37:49Speaker 4: the criticism of Joe Biden on this. She's his mom.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Her son is facing multiple felony counts. He's now been
- 37:55Speaker 4: convicted of multiple felonies. Her son has had a very
- 37:59Speaker 4: troubled life, has had enormous substance abuse problems. I am
- 38:04Speaker 4: never going to faul to a mom for loving her son,
- 38:07Speaker 4: and so the fact that she came back to be
- 38:09Speaker 4: with him in the trial, Look, that's part of being
- 38:12Speaker 4: a mom.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Fair point, Senator. I appreciate it.
