- 0:01Speaker 1: In twenty twenty four, the UN budgeted three hundred and
- 0:04Speaker 1: seventy two million dollars in cash assistance to support an
- 0:08Speaker 1: estimated six hundred and twenty four thousand migrants journeying into
- 0:12Speaker 1: the United States. Think of that, the UN is supporting
- 0:15Speaker 1: people that are illegally coming into the United States and
- 0:18Speaker 1: then we have to get them out. The UN also
- 0:20Speaker 1: provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit CODs.
- 0:24Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Good Thursday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:30Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. And there's one major story
- 0:33Speaker 3: recovering today, and that is the demonizing of ICE agents
- 0:36Speaker 3: is now causing more attacks. This time the second time
- 0:41Speaker 3: we've seen attack on ICE facilities in Dallas alone. So
- 0:45Speaker 3: what are Democrats saying in response? They're blaming ICE for
- 0:48Speaker 3: doing their jobs and Democrats continue to demonize even hours
- 0:53Speaker 3: before the attack. Federal immigration law enforcement officers. All right,
- 0:59Speaker 3: I want to take a moment and I want to
- 1:00Speaker 3: talk to you real quick about what you can do
- 1:03Speaker 3: to help the people in Israel. It was nearly two
- 1:07Speaker 3: years ago that the terrorists murdered more than twelve hundred
- 1:11Speaker 3: innocent Israelis and they took two hundred and fifty hostages.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Today it seems as if the cries of the dead
- 1:17Speaker 3: and dying have been drowned out by the shouts of
- 1:20Speaker 3: anti Semitism and just pure hatred, not just in America
- 1:23Speaker 3: but around the world. And the most brutal attack on
- 1:26Speaker 3: Jewish people happened. It happened since the Holocaust, and now
- 1:31Speaker 3: it's like they're trying to act like it never happened. Now.
- 1:34Speaker 3: This is where it is important for us to stand
- 1:37Speaker 3: with the people in Israel. It's a movement of love
- 1:40Speaker 3: and support for the people of Israel, and this is
- 1:44Speaker 3: where I want you to get involved. It is called
- 1:46Speaker 3: Flags of Fellowship. It's being organized by the International Fellowship
- 1:51Speaker 3: of Christians and Jews. On October fifth, you can stand
- 1:56Speaker 3: with Israel and the victims proudly. It's just a few
- 1:59Speaker 3: weeks away. Millions across America will prayerfully plant an Israeli
- 2:05Speaker 3: flag in honor and solidarity with the victims of October seventh,
- 2:09Speaker 3: twenty twenty three, and stand with their grieving families. You
- 2:14Speaker 3: can be a part of this movement as well. And
- 2:17Speaker 3: that's what I love about what IFCJ does. They're making
- 2:21Speaker 3: sure that the world knows there are lots of people
- 2:24Speaker 3: of faith in this country and friends and advocates for Israel.
- 2:28Speaker 3: They're going to stand with them. You can get more
- 2:30Speaker 3: information about how you can join the Flags of Fellowship movement,
- 2:34Speaker 3: including your church. There are going to be countless church
- 2:38Speaker 3: around the country. They're going to plant flags as well.
- 2:41Speaker 3: So all you have to do to get involved with
- 2:43Speaker 3: Flags of Fellowship movement is go to IFCJ dot org.
- 2:48Speaker 3: That's IFCJ dot org. Stand with Israel on October the fifth.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It's just a few weeks away. And if your church
- 2:56Speaker 3: you think would want to be involved, you can also
- 2:58Speaker 3: find out more about how to get your church to
- 3:00Speaker 3: be involved on a special Sunday at IFCJ dot org.
- 3:04Speaker 3: That's if CJ dot org. It's the forty seven Morning
- 3:09Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:12Speaker 3: On Wednesday, a gunman open fire on an Immigration and
- 3:16Speaker 3: Customs Enforcement ICE facility in Dallas, Texas, leaving one migrant
- 3:21Speaker 3: detainee dead and two others in critical condition. The Federal
- 3:25Speaker 3: Bureau of Investigations, the FBI director Caspattel, has also revealed
- 3:29Speaker 3: that at least one of the shellcasings from the guvernman's
- 3:33Speaker 3: bullet was etched with anti ICE messaging, indicating a left
- 3:39Speaker 3: wing ideological motive for the attack. For months and the
- 3:43Speaker 3: lead up to the attack on the Dallas Ice facility,
- 3:46Speaker 3: Democrats have continuously made statements demonizing ICE agents, doxing ICE agents,
- 3:53Speaker 3: and also going after the agency's acting director, Todd Lyons.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Todd Lions is publicly asked to halt the rhetoric for
- 4:01Speaker 3: fear of a targeted attack just like the one we
- 4:04Speaker 3: witness on Wednesday. Now there are eight different occasions when
- 4:09Speaker 3: Democrats could have chosen the high road, but clearly, in
- 4:12Speaker 3: a coordinated effort, are continuing to go after ICE agents
- 4:17Speaker 3: for enforcing federal immigration law. Gavin Newsom, for example, claims
- 4:23Speaker 3: ICE agents will help suppress voter turnout. In fact, just
- 4:27Speaker 3: eight hours before the attack in Dallas, he was demonizing
- 4:32Speaker 3: ICE agents on national TV and here's what he had
- 4:36Speaker 3: to say.
- 4:36Speaker 4: That's happening in the United States of America. Masked men
- 4:39Speaker 4: jumping out of unmarked cars, people disappearing, no due process,
- 4:44Speaker 4: no oversight, zero accountability happening in the United States of
- 4:47Speaker 4: America today, People ask, well, is authoritarianism you're being hyperbolic.
- 4:52Speaker 4: We're being hyperbolic if you're a black and brown community.
- 4:55Speaker 5: It's here in this country.
- 4:57Speaker 4: And so I'm proud that I had the privilege of
- 5:02Speaker 4: signing the nation's first bill to address the issue of masking,
- 5:06Speaker 4: also to require you have simple identification. To your point,
- 5:10Speaker 4: I mean, if some guy jumped out of an unmarked
- 5:12Speaker 4: car in a van with a mask on tried to
- 5:14Speaker 4: grab me, I mean, by definition, you're going to push back.
- 5:18Speaker 4: And so these these are not just authoritarian tendencies. These
- 5:22Speaker 4: are authoritarian actions by an authoritarian government. You saw what
- 5:26Speaker 4: Stephen Miller said last week. This should put chills a
- 5:29Speaker 4: fine called the Democratic Party an extremist organization, basically a
- 5:34Speaker 4: terrorist organization, saying he's going after his enemies. You saw
- 5:38Speaker 4: the tweet that Donald Trump sent out true social basically
- 5:41Speaker 4: telling PAMBONDI, I want these three people taken out. That's
- 5:45Speaker 4: happening in the United States.
- 5:47Speaker 3: That was eight hours eight hours before the attack on
- 5:51Speaker 3: ICE agents in Dallas. Gavin Newsom said people need to
- 5:55Speaker 3: push back on ICE agents because they're the result of
- 5:59Speaker 3: an authority Harry and government. And this morning a sniper
- 6:03Speaker 3: shot up an ICE facility, killing innocent by the way immigrants,
- 6:08Speaker 3: to be very clear, But that's not the only time
- 6:11Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom has been saying this. Last month, during a
- 6:15Speaker 3: podcast episode, the California governor made the unprecedented claim that
- 6:20Speaker 3: ICE agents may be used by President Donald Trump's in
- 6:23Speaker 3: next year's midterm election to help suppress voter turnout. Quote.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Trump's already sending out mass people to intimidate folks when
- 6:33Speaker 3: we launched our campaign. Did it down in Little Tokyo
- 6:36Speaker 3: in LA? Do you think ICE is not going to
- 6:39Speaker 3: show up around voting and pulling booze to chill participation?
- 6:43Speaker 3: And you know that the National Guard, you know that.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That's what he went on to say. Yes, this is
- 6:49Speaker 3: the insanity of the left advocating for exactly what is
- 6:53Speaker 3: happening today and having people get angry. Jasmine Crockett, the
- 6:57Speaker 3: representative from Texas, made in lamatory suggestions that ICE agents
- 7:02Speaker 3: are aching to slave patrols during an interview with MSNBC
- 7:07Speaker 3: just last week. Here's her in her own words.
- 7:10Speaker 6: What they're doing right now. It almost feels like, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 6: I've seen the memes about the purge and all these things,
- 7:17Speaker 6: but as somebody who understands history, when I see ICE,
- 7:21Speaker 6: I see slave patrols. Now, I never live through the
- 7:25Speaker 6: slave patrol period. But if you know the history of
- 7:28Speaker 6: policing in this country, then you understand that they were
- 7:31Speaker 6: born out of slave patrols. And now with the Supreme
- 7:34Speaker 6: Court saying this, it's almost like you can just go
- 7:37Speaker 6: grab them up, that is what they're saying, and that
- 7:40Speaker 6: is a problem.
- 7:40Speaker 5: We all should have a problem with that.
- 7:42Speaker 6: But when you don't want to teach American history that
- 7:45Speaker 6: includes black history, then you lose out on the benefit
- 7:48Speaker 6: of understanding that we have been down this road before
- 7:51Speaker 6: and it was not good, and we fixed it once
- 7:54Speaker 6: and it is a shame that we are relitigating this
- 7:57Speaker 6: and we are going to have to fix it again.
- 7:59Speaker 3: So just be very clear. Jasmine Crockett refers to ICE
- 8:04Speaker 3: agents grabbing illegal immigrants, many of them that have committed
- 8:09Speaker 3: heinous crimes as slave patrols. And you wonder why we
- 8:16Speaker 3: are now witnessing what we are witnessing right now with
- 8:19Speaker 3: a violence against ICE agents. The Boston mayor, Michelle wu
- 8:26Speaker 3: she said this about ICE agents.
- 8:28Speaker 7: I don't know of any police department that routinely wears masks.
- 8:35Speaker 7: We know that there are other groups that routinely wear masks.
- 8:37Speaker 7: NSC one thirty one routinely wears masks.
- 8:40Speaker 5: They are just a clarifier.
- 8:41Speaker 8: You're comparing ICE.
- 8:42Speaker 5: You said to NSC one thirty one the neo Nazi group.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Are you comparing them to a neo Nazi group?
- 8:49Speaker 7: What I said is that Boston Police, and no police
- 8:52Speaker 7: department that I know of at the local level routinely
- 8:54Speaker 7: wears masks.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Boston Mayor comparing ICE agents to neo Nazi Tim Waltz
- 9:01Speaker 3: saying this at a graduation ceremony about Department of Home
- 9:06Speaker 3: in Security and ICE.
- 9:08Speaker 9: DESCAPO is scooping folks up off the streets. They're in
- 9:11Speaker 9: unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons.
- 9:16Speaker 9: No chance to mount of defense, not even a chance
- 9:18Speaker 9: to kiss the loved one goodbye, just grabbed up by
- 9:21Speaker 9: massed agents, shoved into those vans and disappeared to be clear,
- 9:25Speaker 9: there's no way for us to know whether they were
- 9:27Speaker 9: actually criminals or not.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Because they refused to give them a trial. We're supposed
- 9:31Speaker 5: to just take their word for it.
- 9:33Speaker 3: That is the man who was the vice presidential candidate
- 9:37Speaker 3: and a governor of a state saying that ICE agents
- 9:42Speaker 3: are the Gestapo. So you look at all of that
- 9:46Speaker 3: and then you go back to what happened in Dallas.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I want you to listen closely to what the acting
- 9:53Speaker 3: director of the Dallas Ice Field Office had to say
- 9:57Speaker 3: today about this being the second time it's happened in
- 10:01Speaker 3: his jurisdiction.
- 10:02Speaker 10: This is the.
- 10:03Speaker 11: Second time I've had to stand in front of you
- 10:05Speaker 11: and talk about a shooter.
- 10:09Speaker 5: At one of my facilities.
- 10:10Speaker 11: And I think that the takeaway from all of this
- 10:14Speaker 11: is that the rhetoric has to stop. There are people
- 10:19Speaker 11: out there who are seeing what is being placed online
- 10:24Speaker 11: and they're coming and they're doing acts of violence against
- 10:27Speaker 11: ICE employees. It's dangerous and people are losing their lives.
- 10:31Speaker 3: People are losing their lives. But what are the Democrats saying.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Not even close to that. They're now blaming ICE for
- 10:41Speaker 3: being divisive. Yes, MSNBC, as people have been shot and
- 10:47Speaker 3: there are people that are clinging for their lives, and
- 10:49Speaker 3: after we are seeing this happen on MSNBC, one of
- 10:54Speaker 3: their correspondents said today, quote, it's very early to know
- 10:57Speaker 3: the motive of the ICE facility shooter. And know we
- 11:00Speaker 3: knew it was written on the bullet casings and then
- 11:04Speaker 3: they went on to blame ICE. We have also seen
- 11:06Speaker 3: the very dramatic videos of ICE nabbing individuals, they said,
- 11:10Speaker 3: and tossing them into unmarked vehicles, justifying the violence centered.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Ted Cruz also coming out talking about how this must stop.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Here's what he said.
- 11:23Speaker 12: This states to stop violence is wrong. Politically motivated violence
- 11:29Speaker 12: is wrong. It was two weeks ago today that we
- 11:32Speaker 12: saw a political assassination in Utah that tore the heart
- 11:36Speaker 12: out of much of this country. This is the third
- 11:40Speaker 12: shooting in Texas directed at ICE or CBP. This must
- 11:46Speaker 12: stop to end politician who is using rhetoric demonizing ICE
- 11:52Speaker 12: and demonizing CBP. Stop to every politician demanding that ICE
- 11:58Speaker 12: agents be doc and calling for people to go after
- 12:02Speaker 12: their families. Stop This has very real consequences. Look in America,
- 12:08Speaker 12: we disagree. That's fine, that's the democratic process. But your
- 12:12Speaker 12: political opponents are not Nazis. We need to learn to
- 12:16Speaker 12: work together without demonizing each other, without attacking each other.
- 12:21Speaker 12: And I want to say thank you. I want to
- 12:23Speaker 12: say thank you to the brave men and women of
- 12:25Speaker 12: law enforcement. I want to say thank you to the
- 12:28Speaker 12: brave men and women of ICE and CBP and everyone
- 12:31Speaker 12: who puts their lives on the line to keep us safe.
- 12:35Speaker 12: The divisive rhetoric tragically has real consequence. I hope that
- 12:40Speaker 12: every one of us will I hope that every one
- 12:42Speaker 12: of us will pray number one for the safety of
- 12:46Speaker 12: law enforcement that are risking their lives to keep us safe.
- 12:50Speaker 12: Number two, for the health of those who were shot
- 12:53Speaker 12: and injured. Today we still don't know the full details
- 12:57Speaker 12: of who was injured, but for the families also of
- 12:59Speaker 12: the victy of this shooting. Violence has no place, It
- 13:03Speaker 12: is wrong, and we should come together. If we want
- 13:07Speaker 12: to have a debate of an immigration policies, we can
- 13:09Speaker 12: do so in the halls of Congress without demonizing each other,
- 13:14Speaker 12: and especially without demonizing the men and women who every
- 13:18Speaker 12: day put on a badge and go risk their lives
- 13:21Speaker 12: to keep us safe. And we should not be putting
- 13:25Speaker 12: language out there that inspires mad men to commit evil crimes.
- 13:32Speaker 12: Our prayers are with the men and women of law enforcement,
- 13:35Speaker 12: and we ought to come together and have some decency
- 13:38Speaker 12: across the political aisle to say this violence is wrong
- 13:43Speaker 12: and it needs to stop.
- 13:45Speaker 3: So will there be that type of decency. Well, moments
- 13:49Speaker 3: later on MSNBC. This is what they said, targets.
- 13:53Speaker 10: What about the politically motivated side of this. This is
- 13:56Speaker 10: now the fourth shooting that we've seen in just a
- 14:00Speaker 10: little bit over a year where the suspect has allegedly
- 14:04Speaker 10: written on the casings of bullets some sort of politically
- 14:09Speaker 10: motivated message.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Yeah, so, I mean terrorism is theater.
- 14:14Speaker 8: It's intended to influence an audience beyond its imeded victims.
- 14:18Speaker 8: It's putting a message out. And terrorism falls into real
- 14:23Speaker 8: really three categories. It's either religiously motivated, ideologically motivated, or
- 14:28Speaker 8: in this case, politically motivated. And the politically motivated ones.
- 14:31Speaker 8: It doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens because conditions
- 14:34Speaker 8: have been set that people start acting out against. What
- 14:37Speaker 8: are the conditions, So, you know, distrusted institutions that's been
- 14:41Speaker 8: building for quite some time, a tax on institutions, the
- 14:45Speaker 8: wealth gap, oppressive policies at least this is what people perceive.
- 14:51Speaker 8: And then the militarization of ice and other federal law
- 14:55Speaker 8: for the wearing of the mask.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Aggressive tactics.
- 14:59Speaker 8: So the people who who are starting to act out
- 15:02Speaker 8: against this feel it's their only.
- 15:06Speaker 5: Recourse. Again, this is predictable.
- 15:08Speaker 8: We see this happening throughout our history and in other
- 15:11Speaker 8: places as well. So you know we can tone down
- 15:15Speaker 8: the rhetoric and that that's the right message, but you
- 15:18Speaker 8: also have to start looking at what policies you've implemented,
- 15:22Speaker 8: what tactics you're using, because if you tourned down the
- 15:25Speaker 8: rhetoric but you leave those other pieces in place, nothing's
- 15:28Speaker 8: going to try.
- 15:29Speaker 5: So I wonder, though, I mean, this.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Is this is incredible. ICE needs to change their policies,
- 15:36Speaker 3: meaning don't actually enforce the laws, go back to what
- 15:39Speaker 3: was happening before and allow so many radicals to come
- 15:44Speaker 3: into this country. Those that are selling fetanyl killing Americans,
- 15:48Speaker 3: those that are sex trafficking children and abusing children, those
- 15:52Speaker 3: that are committing murders and violent crimes and rape. No,
- 15:55Speaker 3: they're saying, go back to the Biden policies or there
- 16:00Speaker 3: will be more violence against ICE agents. JD. Vance, the
- 16:04Speaker 3: Vice President United its America, summed it up perfectly when
- 16:08Speaker 3: he said this.
- 16:09Speaker 13: You don't have to agree with my immigration policies. You
- 16:12Speaker 13: don't have to agree with Donald Trump's immigration policies, but
- 16:15Speaker 13: if your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement,
- 16:20Speaker 13: you can go straight to hell, and you have no
- 16:22Speaker 13: place in the political conversation of the United States of America.
- 16:26Speaker 13: When Democratic politicians incur doxing, when they encourage us to
- 16:31Speaker 13: unmask ice enforcement officers, what do you think is going
- 16:35Speaker 13: to happen? Political violence has gotten out of control in
- 16:38Speaker 13: this country. We got to stop it, we gotta condemn it,
- 16:41Speaker 13: and that starts, unfortunately at the very top of the Democratic.
- 16:44Speaker 3: Party, aim into that JD vance. If your political rhetoric
- 16:48Speaker 3: encourages violence against our law enforcement, you can go straight
- 16:53Speaker 3: to hell.
