- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water? The water go? Come? Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back at it? Uh huh. I show well
- 2:04Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come
- 2:08Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah, do tickle me when I said,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but I do like I say always. It just is
- 2:19Speaker 1: a constant remind of of how good God has been,
- 2:23Speaker 1: of all the things he's brought me through, all the
- 2:25Speaker 1: challenges he's allowed me to overcome, all the times he's
- 2:29Speaker 1: forgiven me, all the times he's allowed me to get
- 2:32Speaker 1: it all wrong and turn around and get it right.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And I still got a lot of challenges in front
- 2:39Speaker 1: of me, still got a lot of changes. I probably
- 2:41Speaker 1: need to make some of My question to you is
- 2:44Speaker 1: what's stopping you from having the life that you want.
- 2:48Speaker 1: What's stopping you from having the life that you want?
- 2:53Speaker 1: I don't really know a person that doesn't want a
- 2:55Speaker 1: good life for themselves or for their families. Now, I
- 2:59Speaker 1: know a lot of people who have been beaten down
- 3:01Speaker 1: by the process, who because of some mistakes and some setbacks,
- 3:08Speaker 1: some mishaps, a set of circumstances. Uh, sometimes just life
- 3:15Speaker 1: just deals them a hand of cards and and they
- 3:19Speaker 1: just figure it's all defeat. I know a lot of
- 3:23Speaker 1: people who have given up on achieving the life of
- 3:27Speaker 1: their dreams, but I know they still want them if
- 3:31Speaker 1: they could get to them, But they just allowed to
- 3:34Speaker 1: settle for so many reasons. So who I'm talking to
- 3:39Speaker 1: is you today? What's really stopping you from having the
- 3:43Speaker 1: life that you want? What's really at the core of
- 3:47Speaker 1: stopping you? What is that? Is it your friends or
- 3:51Speaker 1: your associates. Is it the fear of what you think
- 3:55Speaker 1: somebody else will think of you if you decide to change.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Is it what I U is to call the call
- 4:01Speaker 1: of the wild? Is it the fact that you keep
- 4:04Speaker 1: thinking that the thing that you're doing that's providing you
- 4:08Speaker 1: these momentary moments of pleasure that really ain't really good
- 4:12Speaker 1: or healthy for you. You don't want to stop doing
- 4:15Speaker 1: that because you've got just a little bit more something
- 4:18Speaker 1: else you want to do. I call that the call
- 4:20Speaker 1: at a while. You know, it's just out there the
- 4:22Speaker 1: streets is calling you. Them lights is calling you. You
- 4:25Speaker 1: know them, girls is calling you them Guys that's on
- 4:28Speaker 1: the wrong side, keep calling you. You can't seem to
- 4:31Speaker 1: make a decision by the right guy. You keep picking
- 4:34Speaker 1: the wrong guy all the time. What is it that
- 4:37Speaker 1: stopping you from having the life that you really want
- 4:40Speaker 1: to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing, that's the
- 4:44Speaker 1: reason that's stopping you from having the life that you
- 4:47Speaker 1: want to have. It's no good because at the end
- 4:51Speaker 1: of the day, here's the real deal. See, God is available,
- 4:55Speaker 1: and God is available for all of us, and God
- 4:58Speaker 1: has a plan for all of us, and God wants
- 5:00Speaker 1: the very best for all of us. That's the truth
- 5:03Speaker 1: of the matter. So now what we're gonna do to
- 5:06Speaker 1: get started having that life? First of all, if it's
- 5:10Speaker 1: your friends, I want you to understand something. Your friends
- 5:14Speaker 1: can't save you. A lot of your friends offer no
- 5:16Speaker 1: real help for you. Most of your friends don't have
- 5:20Speaker 1: the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a wide range
- 5:23Speaker 1: of reasons, and misery love company. So usually when your
- 5:27Speaker 1: friends are in a bad position, they kind of like
- 5:30Speaker 1: company in that bad position. Your friends ain't going to church,
- 5:35Speaker 1: You're gonna be their friend. They don't really want you
- 5:37Speaker 1: to go to church. You know your friends don't pray,
- 5:40Speaker 1: so why would they offer up prayer as a solution
- 5:43Speaker 1: to you. You know, your friends don't really really get
- 5:50Speaker 1: the fact that if you treat people better, people would
- 5:52Speaker 1: treat you better. So what's that? So your friends are
- 5:57Speaker 1: a lot of times the reasons you know, to peer
- 6:00Speaker 1: that's you of what and then the thought in your
- 6:02Speaker 1: mind of what they're gonna think once they find out
- 6:05Speaker 1: I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares what
- 6:08Speaker 1: they think other than you? I mean, really, you can't
- 6:13Speaker 1: let what somebody thinks if you stop you from having
- 6:16Speaker 1: the best life you wanted to have. If I went
- 6:19Speaker 1: by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't even
- 6:22Speaker 1: be on this mic this morning. I would have never
- 6:24Speaker 1: become a stand up I would have had I listened
- 6:27Speaker 1: to the people around me who clearly told me when
- 6:31Speaker 1: I quit my job to pursue this boy, don't you
- 6:34Speaker 1: quit your job you got a family, boy, don't you
- 6:36Speaker 1: do this? You ain't got no bit dad, ain't ain't
- 6:39Speaker 1: no security in that. Get yourself a job. Go down
- 6:42Speaker 1: here and with your brother, go to work over here,
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to I heard all of that. I didn't let
- 6:48Speaker 1: that stop me from pursuing this. Why would you allow
- 6:51Speaker 1: that to stop you from pursuing your relationship with God
- 6:54Speaker 1: so you can have the best life you could possibly have.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You gang bang because they've convinced you that this is
- 7:01Speaker 1: the family situation and love that you don't have, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: they've convinced you that this is your only way, your
- 7:08Speaker 1: only source of getting over And then you drum up
- 7:12Speaker 1: these ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they
- 7:16Speaker 1: sound so good when you're listening to everybody else you're
- 7:19Speaker 1: surrounded by, telling you why we gang banging, Why we're
- 7:23Speaker 1: holding this blockdown while we slang in this thing here
- 7:26Speaker 1: right here, why we're letting it go like this here.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You keep listening to them when all in your heart
- 7:33Speaker 1: of hearts you know this ain't right, you already know,
- 7:36Speaker 1: but you allow that form of the call of the wild,
- 7:41Speaker 1: that wanting to be accepted by a group of people
- 7:44Speaker 1: who trying to get you to accept the way so
- 7:46Speaker 1: you can further their progress. To even prove that you're
- 7:49Speaker 1: worthy to be around them, you got to commit some
- 7:53Speaker 1: type of crime to even prove that you're worthy to
- 7:55Speaker 1: be around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:59Speaker 1: what happens to that? Where your family? And now they
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't come down there to see you because guess what,
- 8:05Speaker 1: they can't turn in their idea to deaths at a
- 8:07Speaker 1: law enforcement center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 8:13Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And then you learn that what is it to stopping
- 8:19Speaker 1: you from having the life that you always wanted to have?
- 8:23Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 8:26Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 8:32Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 8:35Speaker 1: God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 8:39Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 8:42Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 8:46Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 8:49Speaker 1: in there, and then every time you go in there,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:54Speaker 1: little silly little friends. Try to make you think that's
- 8:56Speaker 1: a badge of honor. There's no badge of honor. Man,
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's one mold. What's one more scratch on that record.
- 9:02Speaker 1: That's one more That's one more nail in that coffin.
- 9:06Speaker 1: That's one step closer to that third strike where you
- 9:09Speaker 1: ain't gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to
- 9:12Speaker 1: that graveyard. You keep on. Why would you not give
- 9:16Speaker 1: God to try? Why would you not go and see
- 9:18Speaker 1: what your life could really be? What is it that's
- 9:21Speaker 1: stopping you? What is it? Because see, I got news
- 9:25Speaker 1: for you. There's nothing like waking up free. I don't
- 9:29Speaker 1: care who you are. There's nothing like waking up with
- 9:33Speaker 1: the joy in your heart. Now, if you ain't gonna
- 9:35Speaker 1: be free, get the joy in your heart, the satisfaction
- 9:39Speaker 1: of knowing that you're accomplishing something with your life. Help
- 9:42Speaker 1: somebody behind them bars, get in the program. Show these
- 9:45Speaker 1: young cats when they come in a better way. But
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't you dare sit there man and just ride it out,
- 9:51Speaker 1: and man, just just go and get the fullest life
- 9:55Speaker 1: that you can have. What you know what it feels
- 9:58Speaker 1: like to wake up and be on your way somewhere,
- 10:01Speaker 1: knowing that you have something to accomplish, that you can
- 10:04Speaker 1: change somebody, that you can stop somebody from going down
- 10:06Speaker 1: the road you went down. It's a whole lot of
- 10:08Speaker 1: ways to make your life better. But why would you
- 10:11Speaker 1: not go and have the best life you can have?
- 10:13Speaker 1: What is it that's stopping you? What is it really really?
- 10:19Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 10:22Speaker 1: at heart? That della thing your mama kept telling you
- 10:25Speaker 1: about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that,
- 10:30Speaker 1: and ain't ever too late to get back to where
- 10:32Speaker 1: you're from. It ain't ever too late go back home.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around. It ain't
- 10:38Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together. It ain't
- 10:41Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God, And it ain't ever
- 10:44Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 10:48Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 10:51Speaker 1: because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. And welcome
- 11:03Speaker 1: to the ride. Welcome to the ride. My mic up,
- 11:09Speaker 1: can we say this? Can I say something today? Right now?
- 11:12Speaker 1: My uncle is out today and there was a purpose
- 11:15Speaker 1: for this because today is not a day of uplift.
- 11:18Speaker 1: To day is not a day of mentoring. Today is
- 11:22Speaker 1: not today for that. Today is a day for straight ignorance.
- 11:27Speaker 1: To day is a day for straight foolery. Today is
- 11:30Speaker 1: straight up crazy, and we brought in number one crazy
- 11:35Speaker 1: to help us get through this day. Do you understand that? Absolutely?
- 11:38Speaker 1: All right? When you bring in ignorance, fly them in
- 11:43Speaker 1: on the plank, just for ignorance. That's when you're talking
- 11:46Speaker 1: about being ignorant to day. Let me speak to Shirley
- 11:50Speaker 1: carl or the latest. First, How y'all doing this morning? Good? Good?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Want to say hello to the one and only badest
- 11:58Speaker 1: junior in the world, Junior Spakes. What's going on? Time? Now,
- 12:02Speaker 1: let's get to it, y'all ready? Yeah, because he's bigger.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He's bigger than his wallet. No, no, I take that back.
- 12:10Speaker 1: His wallet bigger than him, His house bigger than him,
- 12:14Speaker 1: his playing bigger than him, his his his cheering. He's
- 12:18Speaker 1: bigger than him. I hate to say it, but his
- 12:21Speaker 1: wife is bigger than him. God him. Put your they
- 12:25Speaker 1: say the dog at the house bigger than him. You
- 12:28Speaker 1: understand what I'm saying. Put your hands to go straight
- 12:31Speaker 1: up by the philadelp for you. They're probably gonna put
- 12:35Speaker 1: him in the Super Bowl come Sunday, the one and
- 12:38Speaker 1: Only Kevin. Yeah, I'm here when he comes down. Before
- 12:46Speaker 1: we get started, I'm gonna let everybody. Let everybody know.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I got my visit line in my list, may get
- 12:54Speaker 1: the acting. Yeah, I struggle with some words, with some
- 12:58Speaker 1: ess and tease. I'm trade number five. You gonna trade
- 13:03Speaker 1: number five in my bag? Yeah, they're coming together. See
- 13:07Speaker 1: my thing. Before we get into, let me explay while
- 13:10Speaker 1: I got the invistitent line. You know, I've been doing
- 13:12Speaker 1: movies for quite some time. Okay, okay, because I've been
- 13:20Speaker 1: doing movies quite some time, I was looking at playback
- 13:22Speaker 1: on my last movie that I was doing, and it
- 13:25Speaker 1: looked like my my bottom roaring teeth was having a meeting.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Because I said, oh no, I can't. I said, we're
- 13:31Speaker 1: gonna use that. It was like, yeah, that's a close up.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I said, no, no, no, no, we can't use that.
- 13:36Speaker 1: So the next day I went and got the invistitor line,
- 13:38Speaker 1: and I said, I got to I got to get
- 13:40Speaker 1: it together, you know, because I don't want to get
- 13:42Speaker 1: veneers and all that stuff. I don't want to be
- 13:44Speaker 1: the dude out here with the shoes in his fountains,
- 13:47Speaker 1: the shoes that white Timberlin boot. I don't want that
- 13:50Speaker 1: in my map. Yeah. I want a natural smile to
- 13:53Speaker 1: keep mind way it. You just want the listeners to
- 13:56Speaker 1: understand that. I gotta invisit line it. Okay, Yeah, but
- 13:59Speaker 1: it's gonna be. We have a good time. Spit on
- 14:01Speaker 1: us all morning. Now this Mike, y'all gotta throw this
- 14:03Speaker 1: Mike away talking. Do you know I'm not gonna do that.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm trying to get this thing fixed in the quicknest time. Yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I thought it gonna be down in the week. Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Kevin Hart is here without the baby. I wanted to
- 14:28Speaker 1: see the baby. But we're gonna coming back. You wanta
- 14:30Speaker 1: take some call, I will take some call. Seven seven
- 14:33Speaker 1: nine Steve called Kevin. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, Hey, hey,
- 14:41Speaker 1: welcome burn. We said we're hot. Yeah I didn't hear him. Yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 1: I'm talking about a minute. I love the Lord. Hear
- 14:51Speaker 1: my cry. Kevin Hart, our special guest Steve Harvey off today.
- 14:56Speaker 1: The crew is in. Kevin. You said you wanted to
- 14:58Speaker 1: take some calls. Yes, I do. All right, So let's
- 15:01Speaker 1: go to the phone. Let's go to line one and
- 15:02Speaker 1: talk to Angela out of Phoenix City, Alabama. Hi, good
- 15:08Speaker 1: morning everyone, um Kearvin. I was calling to see if
- 15:12Speaker 1: you can do a quick paper for me. Um, if
- 15:13Speaker 1: you can tell my my eighth grade son, Aiden, how
- 15:17Speaker 1: do you go to school? It in and don't act
- 15:19Speaker 1: like a jackass because I don't have time for us that,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you know what? You know what? No, that boy, that
- 15:24Speaker 1: boy deserved that. I know where that's coming from. That's
- 15:26Speaker 1: coming from a place of hurting one. Aiden, and you
- 15:30Speaker 1: get your behind up and do what your mother told you.
- 15:31Speaker 1: If we should pop you in the back of your neck,
- 15:33Speaker 1: that's what you gotta do. You gotta hat kids. Yeah,
- 15:35Speaker 1: hit him in the back of their neck. That that way,
- 15:37Speaker 1: it doesn't bruise up. Nobody will know what you do.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's a spot that can always be covered up by
- 15:42Speaker 1: the dollar. Yeah. These kids naturally have a dark neck. Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 1: it can always be covered up. You chopped that boy
- 15:48Speaker 1: in the back of his neck till you get himself
- 15:49Speaker 1: together and listen to your mother. That's what you do.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Go to school, stop back to like a behind hole.
- 15:55Speaker 1: What did I aiden do. What's he been doing at school?
- 15:59Speaker 1: I think? Don't do his question? Well, he was, he
- 16:03Speaker 1: was resting his arm. Let's sleep, let's sleep exactly. Un
- 16:10Speaker 1: know about the library. Oh that didn't do what. I
- 16:15Speaker 1: didn't know about the library? Didn't know. I don't know
- 16:18Speaker 1: about ain't it in the school? Okay? So is he
- 16:24Speaker 1: going to bed early on time? You do you putting
- 16:26Speaker 1: the bed on time? Why are you? Like? I don't
- 16:28Speaker 1: get it? Where is his daddy? But that ain't got
- 16:32Speaker 1: nothing to do that? When dude, time is it? Ain't
- 16:33Speaker 1: going to bed? He needs to get in there at
- 16:37Speaker 1: eight thirty eight. He's not gonna be I'm sorry, you
- 16:45Speaker 1: need to You need to eat that seventh thirty to
- 16:47Speaker 1: get this bad bad by eight third, seventh thirty, you're
- 16:51Speaker 1: gonna eat and you're gonna get the bad I can't
- 16:53Speaker 1: force somebody to eat it seven thirty. This ain't your kids.
- 16:56Speaker 1: We're talking about the same person. Do I know what
- 16:57Speaker 1: the library? I did that? But maybe because you're forcing
- 17:00Speaker 1: the board to eat you. You just slapped him in
- 17:02Speaker 1: the back of the day. Yeah, why slapped him in
- 17:04Speaker 1: a place where they ain't gonna show up so nobody
- 17:06Speaker 1: know what you're doing. You forced being the child and
- 17:09Speaker 1: then put him the sleep the boy waking up before
- 17:11Speaker 1: in the morning. That's why you put in the beds early.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Everybody know that. That's a that's a common sense problem.
- 17:16Speaker 1: On my father three brothers, look at you, father three
- 17:21Speaker 1: wars aid, daddy, baby right here? Actually the car and
- 17:24Speaker 1: is that right now getting ready to get dropped? Is
- 17:29Speaker 1: that Mr Aiden? Hey, mister Aiden know his dad is
- 17:32Speaker 1: actually Mr Moore. Mr Moore? He right there. Yeah, well
- 17:36Speaker 1: he's not with me there in their own car. Oh okay,
- 17:40Speaker 1: all right, Angela, that helped. Yeah, the story this one.
- 17:46Speaker 1: You gotta stop asking question. Another car, it's the way,
- 17:52Speaker 1: another car. Well, it's some stuff going on. Okay, it's complicate.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you, Angela. Let's go the line to
- 18:00Speaker 1: and talk to Shena out of Virginia. Good morning, Good morning, Shina.
- 18:08Speaker 1: How you doing, I'm doing. How y'all doing the morning? Okay, Shina,
- 18:16Speaker 1: my girl, I finally got in. Don't be talking about
- 18:25Speaker 1: second now, good morning. How your fans were on the radio?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Radio guy, you gotta clean up your language now. First
- 18:40Speaker 1: of all, my people come from the real rugged Yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I got some real rugged and raw supporters. Michael Judge,
- 18:47Speaker 1: my people coming with the raw authenticity that they're supposed to.
- 18:51Speaker 1: This all right, we'll try to take another one. Let's
- 18:53Speaker 1: go Kevin Hard our special guests this morning. He's family though.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Line three Alicia out of Baltimore, Maryland, Elsa, keep your clean,
- 19:00Speaker 1: good morning, good morning, least good morning. I had a
- 19:08Speaker 1: dream about you. Oh man, Okay, well that's that's a
- 19:18Speaker 1: dream that I can partake. Yeah, thank god, Yeah, thank
- 19:23Speaker 1: you for keeping it. No, no, no, I love it.
- 19:28Speaker 1: You know what, laughter is the medicine that we all need.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So if we're doing anything where we're laughing, that means
- 19:33Speaker 1: we're healing the souls. And I feel like that's what
- 19:35Speaker 1: I do. That's my job. That's what I do with
- 19:37Speaker 1: the best of my ability. So any thought that you
- 19:40Speaker 1: have that is involving men, involving laughing, you're having a
- 19:43Speaker 1: good time. I consider that a good thoughts we did,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and I appreciate you for talking on me in the
- 19:47Speaker 1: most positive light possible problems my birthday. I am basically
- 19:55Speaker 1: a July six babies. So we both cancers, right, yeah, yeah,
- 20:01Speaker 1: we're definitely awesome. Tips. So right now I'm about to
- 20:04Speaker 1: take myself here behind and tell you to go buy

- 21:56Speaker 1: we watched. Someone watch Did you watch? Of course I did.
- 22:02Speaker 1: It was not saying what you want to ask me
- 22:04Speaker 1: something you ask did you watch? Well? Yeah? What color
- 22:11Speaker 1: was the color? I can't believe, I can't. You got
- 22:16Speaker 1: the nerve? Ask me right, what color Milannia wear? What
- 22:23Speaker 1: color did she happen? What color? You got some nerves?
- 22:26Speaker 1: You know you got some nerves. I'm offended right now
- 22:30Speaker 1: the fact that you asked me what color it was? White? Yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: I know exactly what it was. Come on out, you know,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I got to be up to speed on these current
- 22:38Speaker 1: events because of what I do for a living. You know,
- 22:42Speaker 1: comedians so I mean to observe what's going on in
- 22:44Speaker 1: the world, the current and understanding you know what, what
- 22:49Speaker 1: state we're in this people you know. And and with
- 22:52Speaker 1: that being said, uh, you know it looks either like
- 22:56Speaker 1: macaroni cheese you don't like. Brother. See that means that
- 23:05Speaker 1: you don't listen. That's your problems. It means sometimes things
- 23:09Speaker 1: are too hot for you to touch, and that means
- 23:11Speaker 1: you stay away from it. Back morn If you get
- 23:13Speaker 1: too hot, you're gonna burn your tongue. So I'm ask you,
- 23:15Speaker 1: do you want to burn your tongue? Okay, all right,
- 23:18Speaker 1: that's something I'll do is figure it out. But what
- 23:22Speaker 1: that guy color are you listening to? Not are you
- 23:25Speaker 1: listening to what I'm saying to mind? That can't be
- 23:28Speaker 1: a state of the union. Get the oven his own.
- 23:31Speaker 1: If the oven his own, that means somebody cooking, it's
- 23:33Speaker 1: somebody cooking. Should nobody be in the kitchen. What I'm
- 23:36Speaker 1: saying is put your gloves on, come on out talking
- 23:40Speaker 1: about it. Brother. Brother, I'm not gonna listen. My biggest
- 23:47Speaker 1: thing is not calling people stupid. But when I'm in
- 23:49Speaker 1: the room with people that can't follow me, I'm just
- 23:56Speaker 1: saying that I'm saying, I'm obviously in the place where
- 23:59Speaker 1: my level of thought is way above yours. So I'm
- 24:02Speaker 1: not gonna get my level down, so y'all can catch up.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You guys like to cook and kitchens without possing pants
- 24:08Speaker 1: and skilly do what you want. I'm trying to Gil, Yeah,
- 24:16Speaker 1: what did you give this speech on my scale or
- 24:19Speaker 1: your scale? Your scale? Se No, you're your scale, your scale.
- 24:24Speaker 1: You guys are like one of them scales. They don't
- 24:26Speaker 1: even have numbers. I don't really I'm not really in
- 24:32Speaker 1: the grades, you know. I'm into something different. So my

- 29:23Speaker 1: say to yeah a lot, She said a little. I
- 29:30Speaker 1: don't want people thinking that be the same age. Yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 1: there's nothing. Nothing's wrong with that age. I'm not that
- 29:37Speaker 1: that's a bad age, not that that's a bad age. Yeah,
- 29:42Speaker 1: I'm thirty eight. Keep doing what you're doing, Kevin. Thank
- 29:46Speaker 1: you and coming back to a t L. I will

- 29:54Speaker 1: to Nice Town man. That brings back memories. I played
- 29:58Speaker 1: for the Nice Town Stealers, the football team. It's quarterback's quarterback. Yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 1: We never threw the ball, did we know? He found
- 30:07Speaker 1: out that I couldn't throw. Put me. They put me
- 30:12Speaker 1: back there there. It was real good and tryouts. I
- 30:16Speaker 1: do one good pass. They were like, that's our quarterback.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Try to get me throw that same pass in the game.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Ain't look right, that ball is spinning the wrong way.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You all right? I think? So we got we gotta
- 30:28Speaker 1: talk super Bowl this morning. Man. We got to your
- 30:31Speaker 1: Eagles are in the game. But all right, Kevin's with
- 30:34Speaker 1: us all morning. MSN's coming up next. You're listening to
- 30:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, we're back, We're back.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Did ye get to watch the State? Yeah? Yeah, Well
- 30:52Speaker 1: first opinion. First of all, I thought he was unenthusiastic
- 30:56Speaker 1: as usual, but stay on message. It was to me
- 31:01Speaker 1: like for him to say the country, he was so excited,
- 31:04Speaker 1: he was dry. He was right, was dry? What Kevin? Did?
- 31:09Speaker 1: We all on the same page. We're not there, We're
- 31:14Speaker 1: just on the same page. What was bothering me? When
- 31:17Speaker 1: when he starts clapping for himself, Yes, you did hear
- 31:21Speaker 1: it so microphone. Yes, that's when I got to know
- 31:24Speaker 1: it when you thought that because you drowned it out.
- 31:30Speaker 1: That's when I'm like, come on around. He was like,
- 31:33Speaker 1: come on, come on at that point because at that
- 31:36Speaker 1: point you like what we're doing. It was a bunch
- 31:40Speaker 1: of stand up applause two minutes. Absolutely, at some point
- 31:47Speaker 1: you like, pick one. I don't pick one of what
- 31:51Speaker 1: they didn't stand upside down? I know the Remoblicomes were
- 31:53Speaker 1: acting like they were at the Super Bowl for real
- 31:55Speaker 1: and their team just scored. And then on the side
- 31:59Speaker 1: of the Democrats, Democrats. Was at a funeral. Yeah, they
- 32:10Speaker 1: were standing like he said something deep, he was profound. Yeah. Yeah,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I'm like, come on now, we pretty much said it.
- 32:24Speaker 1: But at the start of his speech, I'll say this.
- 32:26Speaker 1: The President delivered it to a joint session of Congress. Uh.
- 32:30Speaker 1: He said, I call upon all of us to set
- 32:32Speaker 1: aside our differences, to seek out common ground and to
- 32:35Speaker 1: some of the unity we need to deliver for the
- 32:38Speaker 1: people we were elected to serve. Wow, after a year,
- 32:42Speaker 1: you finally realize that's what it's about. Setting aside our
- 32:46Speaker 1: difference is not not causing the difference. Yeah, don't do that.
- 32:51Speaker 1: His speech was eighty minutes long. It seemed longer though,
- 32:54Speaker 1: didn't it. They said President Obama spoke more words. Yeah,
- 33:00Speaker 1: applause was about me. It was a lot, a lot.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Trump steered clear of mentioning the ongoing investigation into his
- 33:11Speaker 1: campaigns ties to Russia. No surprise there mentioned it. Yeah.
- 33:17Speaker 1: He also faced some pushback from within the chamber. There
- 33:20Speaker 1: were audible groans during his comments about immigration, and Congressional
- 33:24Speaker 1: Black Caucus members failed to applaud anything, especially as he
- 33:29Speaker 1: bragged about historically low unemployment for African Americans. Uh, do
- 33:33Speaker 1: we have that clip. Let's play that about African American unemployment.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Race from the president, the state of our union is
- 33:40Speaker 1: strong because our people are strong. He's something I'm very
- 33:47Speaker 1: proud of. African American unemployment stands at the lowest rate
- 33:52Speaker 1: ever recorded. Now that wasn't the black people uh yelling
- 33:58Speaker 1: yea that a black uh at home? And didn't I
- 34:03Speaker 1: know they switched over, Oh my god, to the to
- 34:06Speaker 1: the audience. But that congressional black hawk is sitting there
- 34:09Speaker 1: with their kin take cloths and there, Oh my goodness.
- 34:12Speaker 1: It was like. But but the facts are that, you know,
- 34:15Speaker 1: the African American unemployment rate has been going down since
- 34:18Speaker 1: two thousand and eleven. Right now that I do know,
- 34:23Speaker 1: those are President Obama's all right, it's that time. Let's go.
- 34:30Speaker 1: She's got National News, the one and Only, miss A
- 34:32Speaker 1: and Trip. Thanks guys, good morning. This is entered for
- 34:36Speaker 1: the news. And yeah, I've got a lot of those clips.
- 34:37Speaker 1: President Trump stopped tweeting last night call for unity, stuck
- 34:41Speaker 1: to the script, changed his tone a bit in his
- 34:43Speaker 1: first Stay of the Union speech, and according to a
- 34:45Speaker 1: CNN poll, everybody he got a seventy positive rating, at
- 34:49Speaker 1: least for style. As expected, Trump did make his case
- 34:52Speaker 1: for why he believes that the country is doing so
- 34:53Speaker 1: much better under his administrations. The election created two point
- 34:57Speaker 1: four million new jobs, including including two hundred thousand new
- 35:05Speaker 1: jobs in manufacturing alone. We are finally seeing rising wages.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Unemployment claims have hit a forty five year low, and
- 35:24Speaker 1: something I'm very proud of. African American unemployment stands at
- 35:28Speaker 1: the lowest rate ever recorded, and Hispanic American unemployment has
- 35:37Speaker 1: also reached the lowest levels in history. However, Democratic Santa
- 35:43Speaker 1: Charles Schumer says that Trump and his supporters should really
- 35:46Speaker 1: start thanking President Obama for the shape of the economy.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Much of the growth was created by President Obama's policies,
- 35:55Speaker 1: and by many measures, the growth under President Obama was there,
- 36:00Speaker 1: then under President Trump. Trump also urged lawmakers to come
- 36:04Speaker 1: to a bipartisan solution on a government spending plan. He
- 36:06Speaker 1: made a hard pitch for his immigration proposals, which seemed
- 36:10Speaker 1: like the old ones, but not exactly. He seemingly to
- 36:13Speaker 1: mostly mentioned illegal immigrants is in the framework of criminals
- 36:17Speaker 1: and murderers, which they you know, talked about actual murders, however,
- 36:21Speaker 1: but he didn't really say much positive about immigrants. He
- 36:24Speaker 1: talked about what he calls chain migration, and he would
- 36:27Speaker 1: like to get rid of that. He still says he'd
- 36:28Speaker 1: backed the Dreamers, but in exchange for the border wall.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Congressman Joseph Kennedy the third issue, the Democratic response spent
- 36:35Speaker 1: the last year anxious, angry, afraid. We hear the voices
- 36:42Speaker 1: of Americans who are forgotten. We see an economy that
- 36:45Speaker 1: makes stock sore, investor portfolios bulge, and corporate profits client,
- 36:50Speaker 1: but fails to give workers their fair share of the reward.
- 36:54Speaker 1: A government that struggles to keep itself open. Russia knee
- 36:58Speaker 1: deep and art democracy and all out war on environmental protection.
- 37:03Speaker 1: A Justice department rolling back civil rights by the day,
- 37:08Speaker 1: hatred proudly marching in our streets, bullets tearing through our classrooms, concerts,
- 37:15Speaker 1: and congregations, targeting our safest, sacred places. And this nagging,
- 37:21Speaker 1: sinking feeling, this, this is not who we are. I
- 37:25Speaker 1: was probably Jesseph Candy the third, Tony mis After the Hour,
- 37:29Speaker 1: we got Eugene the Butterfly. Stay tuned to the Steve
- 37:31Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Kevin hard our special guest. This morning. Steve Harvey out today.

- 37:42Speaker 1: Why don't you do the honors and introduced the butterfly?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Come on, man, uh, you know what I haven't. I
- 37:49Speaker 1: haven't talked to Eugene while was I have no problem

- 38:34Speaker 1: But they said I was opening. Did they tell me
- 38:36Speaker 1: we're going to Calaman said Michigan, and I'm February of
- 38:38Speaker 1: that night. No, no, none of them. Kevin. Please, if
- 38:42Speaker 1: this is why, are not gonna lie to me? Wayne
- 38:44Speaker 1: would not lie to me. First of all, Wayne Woode,
- 38:49Speaker 1: Wayne woulde Yes, Eugene is very aggressive and sometimes the
- 38:54Speaker 1: only way to get Eugene out of your faces. Now,
- 38:58Speaker 1: so you're saying fair ward, it's we not didn't see
- 39:00Speaker 1: the rabbits. And I've never said I'm there. I'm gonna
- 39:03Speaker 1: be there. I'm there, That's where I am at. But
- 39:06Speaker 1: you're not there. I mean you're not there in Springfielder.

- 39:51Speaker 1: don't need that. Y'all got jams. Yeah, yeah, everybody's sick.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Everybody's sick. Well, no, that don't it for us. Take
- 40:01Speaker 1: a lot of cod liver all I can fight it out.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Not not what we got. We got something that's we
- 40:06Speaker 1: You haven't see outbreak. You see outbreak to go back
- 40:09Speaker 1: and find that monkey. We got that monkey. We got

- 40:24Speaker 1: we'll work it out. We wanted it. This is it.
- 40:27Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with super Bowl talk. What's happening?
- 40:32Speaker 1: You're listening Steven Show. We are back. Uncle Steven is
- 40:37Speaker 1: out and we got the one and only Kevin Hart here.
- 40:41Speaker 1: I'm here, go go, go, go pop Sunday to make history.
- 40:49Speaker 1: We have a shot. What do you mean? Do we
- 40:51Speaker 1: have a shot? Does a pig walk on all twos?
- 40:55Speaker 1: Come on? Now, Okay, this boy's z on that. He's
- 41:00Speaker 1: not talking up right here talking about you. You think
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm talking about pigs that walk regularly. My point is
- 41:07Speaker 1: a pig can walk on two feet, which means the
- 41:10Speaker 1: Eagles can beat the Patriots. Okay, the sun is gonna shine,
- 41:13Speaker 1: but the moon sometime comes from behind. What I'm telling
- 41:17Speaker 1: you is that boy closed you guys and taking nap
- 41:19Speaker 1: and wake up and ask me if you got the
- 41:21Speaker 1: mouse trap hunt and not Tommy. That's my question. I
- 41:30Speaker 1: can't care. I'm not gonna do this with you. I'm
- 41:32Speaker 1: not tell us Kevin, what what are they? What do
- 41:35Speaker 1: your pick? Tell us? Patriots? Eight six? Okay, I still
- 41:46Speaker 1: say eighties six as in the score the Eagles are
- 41:48Speaker 1: going to score. No, No, I said eighty six as
- 41:51Speaker 1: a street we're playing on. Yes, that's the score. Well,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you do realize they're playing the Patriots. I know who
- 41:56Speaker 1: they're playing. What I saw bowls? Oh what does that mean?
- 42:06Speaker 1: A super bown? A super Bowl? That's my point, you know,
- 42:10Speaker 1: you know what you're saying like he sund like a
- 42:12Speaker 1: bunch of nine believers. Let me take the it's sprinkling
- 42:20Speaker 1: on a situation like this from don't out from the city. Let'
- 42:27Speaker 1: tell you one thing about my city. The pride that
- 42:29Speaker 1: we had is an amazing piece of pride. Okay, when
- 42:33Speaker 1: I say people from Philadelphia have a different walk we
- 42:37Speaker 1: have a different talk, we have a different style. The
- 42:40Speaker 1: reason why because we're unique. We believe that we're always different.
- 42:44Speaker 1: We believe that we can do what others can. But
- 42:46Speaker 1: that being said, we have never been in the position
- 42:49Speaker 1: that we have been in this upcoming super Bowl, we
- 42:53Speaker 1: can make history. There's a quarterback that stop being a
- 42:57Speaker 1: quarterback for us, left, got depressed. Another quarterback came in,
- 43:01Speaker 1: took his spot, was having an m v P season.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Oh my god, out of nowhere Wentz goes down, gets hurt.
- 43:08Speaker 1: And then the quarterback that lost faith in himself, that
- 43:11Speaker 1: came back and became a backup now has a chance
- 43:14Speaker 1: to do what nobody thought he could. We just win
- 43:18Speaker 1: a super Bowl at the hitting rock bottom. The story
- 43:21Speaker 1: behind this man and what he is now doing is
- 43:26Speaker 1: a bigger story than Tom Brady making more history. So
- 43:29Speaker 1: he's got a lot to play for a lot. Not
- 43:31Speaker 1: only does he have a lot to play for Philadelphia
- 43:34Speaker 1: does we have never won a Super Bowl history. This
- 43:38Speaker 1: is this is bigger than the game, your championship. This
- 43:42Speaker 1: is the city of brotherly love. Having the opportunity to
- 43:46Speaker 1: say we did it. This is this is me being
- 43:49Speaker 1: able to go to the parade and have my own flute.
- 43:52Speaker 1: There's a lot of stuff, and I have a real
- 43:58Speaker 1: eagle on it, real eagle. I don't I don't care.
- 44:04Speaker 1: The eagle bigger than you got enough money to buy
- 44:06Speaker 1: an eagle and get a train. I know you got
- 44:08Speaker 1: eagle money by eagle right now, I showed up at
- 44:12Speaker 1: the Super Bowl with an eagle on my neck. You
- 44:14Speaker 1: don't even know how to feed. I'm not a fit eagle.
- 44:17Speaker 1: You gotta do is give an eagle macaroni. You're probably
- 44:22Speaker 1: gonna eagle one some chicken. Eagle turned down nothing. You
- 44:32Speaker 1: have an eagle. What I'm just saying, I know eagles don't.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Macmonian had an eagle before timing. When you're at a Tommy,
- 44:38Speaker 1: Oh my god, you had a pigeon, tom Me. I
- 44:41Speaker 1: had two eagles when I was thirteen. Were you talking about? Yes?
- 44:45Speaker 1: I did my dad bottom for me because I think
- 44:46Speaker 1: in a school. What did your about? I got a
- 44:48Speaker 1: book by me? Eagle? Shut up? Eagle money back there? No,
- 44:54Speaker 1: we found an eagle. Eagle, Oh my god, I right
- 44:59Speaker 1: now more. Are you going to the game, you guys,
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm going to the game, and because of y'all, I'm
- 45:03Speaker 1: now going to the game. With an eagle because he
- 45:05Speaker 1: got it like, Yeah, I'm gonna call my friend in
- 45:07Speaker 1: Dubai and I bet I have an eagle here. I'm
- 45:14Speaker 1: trying to tell you, but you getting mad because I
- 45:17Speaker 1: don't believe nothing I said. Tell everybody, Frank phone call
- 45:20Speaker 1: is coming up. Next, Frank phone call coming up. You
- 45:22Speaker 1: probably don't believe that you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 45:28Speaker 1: All right, listen, stewberrary letter coming up at the top
- 45:31Speaker 1: of the hour. Object what could they possibly be doing
- 45:35Speaker 1: in there? Wait till you hear this letter. Okay, but
- 45:37Speaker 1: first hold on. You said you can give me two
- 45:39Speaker 1: of them just ship. That's my eagle dealer. You just
- 45:44Speaker 1: you I got two eagles just coming. Whatever about You're
- 45:47Speaker 1: not li I just wanted to eagle callup two point
- 45:51Speaker 1: five million. Yes man, Okay, he don't have Eagle money.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do what you got for us right now.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I got a break. All This is called the Ring.
- 46:04Speaker 1: The Ring. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach an Yes,

- 46:21Speaker 1: last week? I actually wasn't here, but you gave it
- 46:24Speaker 1: to one of my sales persons and you wanted to
- 46:27Speaker 1: get it resized as well as get it a praise. Correct. Yes, yes, yes,
- 46:31Speaker 1: and you don't have to tell him a bit on
- 46:34Speaker 1: my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen, I actually do the
- 46:39Speaker 1: resize of the ring. And first of all, let me
- 46:41Speaker 1: be the person say, um, congratulations, when when is your wedding?
- 46:45Speaker 1: Thank you, I'm getting married and stuff come there, Well,
- 46:48Speaker 1: congratulations to you. Listen. I don't know how to tell
- 46:51Speaker 1: you this now as far as your praising list concern
- 46:54Speaker 1: I've looked at your ring over and over and this
- 46:58Speaker 1: this ring is probably worth may be fifty dollars. Excuse me,
- 47:03Speaker 1: I've been I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 47:06Speaker 1: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 47:09Speaker 1: And I understand that what I'm trying to explain to
- 47:11Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 47:13Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 47:16Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 47:19Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nine. This is a Cubic
- 47:23Speaker 1: Saconian stone and the gold is not real at all.
- 47:27Speaker 1: It's like, wait you wait, you lost me. You lost
- 47:31Speaker 1: me as much money as my fan make and as
- 47:33Speaker 1: much money as my father is putting down when his
- 47:35Speaker 1: winning or half put down. And you're gonna understand everything
- 47:39Speaker 1: you're saying, but denied's honestly, what do is? Hold on? Wait?
- 47:43Speaker 1: Wait you know I need you to hold on because
- 47:46Speaker 1: we need to convict us. Wait. Wait, man, First of all,
- 47:49Speaker 1: I can't wait. Wait wait, wait, wait, wait, hold hold
- 47:55Speaker 1: hold on to you? Wait wait wait? What are you
- 47:59Speaker 1: trying to what you want to do? Sir? I need
- 48:01Speaker 1: I need you to repeat because what you just said
- 48:04Speaker 1: to me. Okay, I need little of personal stuff. Man,
- 48:08Speaker 1: you oh you hit it. It's personal now. So I
- 48:10Speaker 1: need you to hold on. Okay, Oh she calling her man, Okay,
- 48:17Speaker 1: thank thank Hello victims. When you listen to this jewel
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's on the front, I want you to hit it that.
- 48:23Speaker 1: He just told me, what's what's the problem? What you mean,
- 48:26Speaker 1: what's the problem. He's gonna tell you what the problem is.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on. Hello. Yeah, who's
- 48:31Speaker 1: this all right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds
- 48:35Speaker 1: and actually your wife I mean, we're your fiance. Rather,
- 48:38Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be resized, and
- 48:41Speaker 1: we we also did an appraisal on the ring for her,
- 48:44Speaker 1: and actually the ring is estimated to be only, in
- 48:48Speaker 1: the words of around fifty dollars. That's what the man said,
- 48:55Speaker 1: do sir. Obviously there's something sort of mistakes. Sir. What
- 49:00Speaker 1: you got to say about that fifty dollars? That's that's
- 49:03Speaker 1: got to be some kind of mistakes. But what did
- 49:05Speaker 1: you say your name was, sir? My name is Gavin.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I work here Diamonds. I'm the head jeweler here. I've
- 49:09Speaker 1: been here for twenty years. And there's there's no way
- 49:13Speaker 1: that that ring is worth fifty dollars. I know what
- 49:15Speaker 1: I paid for it, So obviously there's some sort of mistakes.
- 49:18Speaker 1: There's not a mistake. I've been dealing with Jurlry. I've
- 49:21Speaker 1: seen it. I can pretty much look at a ring,
- 49:24Speaker 1: but I actually went into detail on this one, as
- 49:26Speaker 1: I do all of them, and so I promise you
- 49:28Speaker 1: this is probably maybe between forty and fifty dollars for
- 49:32Speaker 1: his workers. Absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How is that impossible?
- 49:37Speaker 1: He's a jeweler. You heard him say he's been doing
- 49:38Speaker 1: it for twenty He's impossible. I don't understand all the
- 49:42Speaker 1: money that my daddy putting down on this wedding and
- 49:45Speaker 1: you don't pay fifty You bought a cheap ring, sir. No, no, no,
- 49:49Speaker 1: I did not buy a team. This is this is
- 49:52Speaker 1: this is obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it.
- 49:54Speaker 1: You shot that right, you show got that right. So
- 49:57Speaker 1: what you got to say for yourself? Then you kid,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I believe that that's right, that this is obviously some
- 50:03Speaker 1: kind of mis Oh, it is a mistake, a mistake
- 50:06Speaker 1: and thinking I'm gonna get married to the man of
- 50:08Speaker 1: my dream. I do have the engagement ring that was
- 50:11Speaker 1: purchased and bought for your wife, and I don't think
- 50:14Speaker 1: you I don't think you do. I don't think you
- 50:15Speaker 1: have my ring, because if you have my ring, you
- 50:16Speaker 1: wouldn't be telling me this is worst. I have the
- 50:20Speaker 1: ring that your wife, your fiance brought his wife. Yet
- 50:24Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, The man is trying to explain.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to get to the box. Thank you, so
- 50:29Speaker 1: you have I don't think he has the right ring.
- 50:31Speaker 1: I have the right ring. And what I'm letting you know, sir,
- 50:34Speaker 1: is that this is something you buy on an infomercial
- 50:36Speaker 1: in the two in the morning. Dude, you don't like
- 50:41Speaker 1: I ain't botto damn ring on infomercial. I bought the
- 50:43Speaker 1: ring from a reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I
- 50:47Speaker 1: have the certificate. So obviously the mistake is on your
- 50:50Speaker 1: and where you are the mistakers out here? So you
- 50:53Speaker 1: bought a piece of jump. He's been doing it all
- 50:55Speaker 1: these years. How hell he's gonna make a mistake. You
- 50:58Speaker 1: come off telling me I bought a piece of jump.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I know what I bought. If there's any mistakes that's
- 51:02Speaker 1: been made, it's on your end, world, It's not on
- 51:05Speaker 1: my end. Yeah. Hold don't well, don't ray you want
- 51:11Speaker 1: things that my dad is paying too much money for
- 51:13Speaker 1: this wedding, So you don't gonna pay fifty dollars wait
- 51:16Speaker 1: till I tell him this, Chill. Hold on. First of all,
- 51:19Speaker 1: I don't appreciate you. I want to tell you this.
- 51:21Speaker 1: This is a typical case of you're trying to pawn
- 51:24Speaker 1: it off for us because you stuff for fifty bucks.
- 51:29Speaker 1: I get fifty dollars worth of a ring. Then he's
- 51:31Speaker 1: hold on, let me talk to where you be. I
- 51:35Speaker 1: never heard of it. So your wife knows exactly where
- 51:39Speaker 1: that she's the one that brought the ring. And I'll
- 51:41Speaker 1: tell you what, I'm gonna come down there to see
- 51:43Speaker 1: the ring that you're talking about. If it's not the
- 51:45Speaker 1: ring that I gave my girl, I'm gonna take seventy
- 51:48Speaker 1: six hundred dollars out of your because that's so. Now
- 51:52Speaker 1: you want to jump on me because you brought your
- 51:54Speaker 1: wife a piece. Come on and you want to put
- 51:56Speaker 1: it on me? You you don't tell me what the
- 51:59Speaker 1: I'm know what the I spin on the ring and
- 52:01Speaker 1: you I don't kind of trying to pull. First of all,
- 52:03Speaker 1: I do appreciate you coming to my household trying to
- 52:05Speaker 1: mess my You want to come to me with this,
- 52:08Speaker 1: I know the ring better be real. If I were
- 52:11Speaker 1: you miss the niece, I would not marry somebody that's
- 52:13Speaker 1: gonna be I'm coming. I'm looking for your pocket and
- 52:16Speaker 1: you know what. You don't get the ring and a
- 52:19Speaker 1: right me and you're gonna go in it. Can I
- 52:20Speaker 1: say one more thing to both of you? All? Better?
- 52:22Speaker 1: I tell you what if they say that I don't
- 52:24Speaker 1: want to hear me, and you're gonna have some more
- 52:25Speaker 1: problems this is nephew telling me from the Steve Orbit
- 52:28Speaker 1: Morning Show, y'all just got prank. But the niece's sister
- 52:35Speaker 1: that that why she ain't got no man to be man. Wow,
- 52:46Speaker 1: that's how cool time you're about to start. I think
- 52:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I would make
- 52:56Speaker 1: I gotta ask y'all something. What is the baddest ray
- 53:00Speaker 1: of your show in the law? Wow, boy, king of Frank,
- 53:10Speaker 1: very funny, keep it straight, stupid, very funny. Brother, you
- 53:13Speaker 1: do that? Ignorant said? It's best? Yes, you know I

- 53:36Speaker 1: a picture of me grabbing some C c D n
- 53:38Speaker 1: in lying till that's what I was on the show.
- 53:43Speaker 1: I appreciate that got you. Now. My question is is
- 53:46Speaker 1: it a Walmart where they're dropping my egal off that
- 53:54Speaker 1: Kevin can ask your questions. Man, what's up with the eagle?
- 53:57Speaker 1: Hands though? Hard man? Yeah, be a little you know,
- 54:01Speaker 1: we're a little rough around head round when they throwing
- 54:05Speaker 1: stuff and they will boot. No, listen, there was you
- 54:09Speaker 1: know that has an incident? What you gotta say? Yeah, yes,
- 54:16Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, we boost that. We definitely boot. What
- 54:21Speaker 1: it was about every singing that ain't a good sing
- 54:24Speaker 1: We're only one rocket? Yeah, I mean so you know, look,
- 54:28Speaker 1: there's frustration there. Now. I'm not condoning it, but I'm saying,
- 54:31Speaker 1: you know, you understand how I get what's coming from.
- 54:34Speaker 1: But at the same time, I do feel like we
- 54:36Speaker 1: should act better. And I think after winning this super
- 54:38Speaker 1: Bowl wee will. Yes, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 54:47Speaker 1: All right, it's that time. Is everybody ready? Ready? All right? Now,
- 54:51Speaker 1: how do we solicit so you can sing your letters
- 54:53Speaker 1: in and we can read those as well? Yeah? Who
- 54:57Speaker 1: are you first? I am someone going through my Google
- 55:01Speaker 1: right now because I'm going to buy me a parrot.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I can't afford an eagle, but I'm going to get
- 55:06Speaker 1: a part. You just can't started. Just started, Kevin. If
- 55:17Speaker 1: you have some if you have a letter, an issue,
- 55:20Speaker 1: a concern. Send it to Steve and I at Steve
- 55:22Speaker 1: Harvey dot com, Steve Harvey FM dot com. Okay, send
- 55:26Speaker 1: all your letters to Steve Harvey f M dot com
- 55:29Speaker 1: and we will answer to you and get you some help. Okay,
- 55:32Speaker 1: that is, let's do it. Buckle up, but hold on, tipe,
- 55:34Speaker 1: We got it you here. It is a strawberry letter.
- 55:36Speaker 1: All right. I want you to listen, Kevin, I'm gonna listen,
- 55:38Speaker 1: all right. You doubted me like I'm not gonna get
- 55:45Speaker 1: into it. Kid. We're back the team now. Act. That's
- 55:56Speaker 1: the part. I don't know how much eagle it. Well.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Back then, they weren't expensive like they are now. Let
- 56:07Speaker 1: go alright, letter subjects, what could they possibly be doing
- 56:13Speaker 1: in there? There's Stephen Shirley. My wife and I have
- 56:16Speaker 1: allowed our friend and his girlfriend to stay at our
- 56:19Speaker 1: apartment for a few weeks. They just bought a condo
- 56:22Speaker 1: and they are waiting for a few repairs to be
- 56:24Speaker 1: finished before they move in. I don't mind them staying
- 56:27Speaker 1: with me, but there's one big problem. They are too
- 56:32Speaker 1: darn loud. They're too loud. They're in the guest room
- 56:36Speaker 1: across the hall from our bedroom, and it seems like
- 56:39Speaker 1: every night. The bed is squeaking and the headboard is
- 56:43Speaker 1: slamming against the wall, and both of them are screaming
- 56:47Speaker 1: to the top of their long My neighbor is constantly
- 56:51Speaker 1: banging on the wall and has asked me to encourage
- 56:54Speaker 1: them to keep it down. I'm equally perturbed, but I'm
- 56:58Speaker 1: too embarrassed to say anything to them. I don't know
- 57:02Speaker 1: if I should say something or write it out. They
- 57:04Speaker 1: will be gone in two weeks, but darn, my wife
- 57:07Speaker 1: and I have to get up early mornings for work
- 57:10Speaker 1: and we can't get any sleep. Can it be that good?
- 57:15Speaker 1: What could they possibly be doing to each other? Should
- 57:18Speaker 1: I just let it go or ask them to keep
- 57:21Speaker 1: it down? Please help? I can't believe you wrote us
- 57:26Speaker 1: this letter. I really can't believe this. This is your house,
- 57:30Speaker 1: your home. These people are in your home. What are
- 57:34Speaker 1: you too embarrassed about to ask him to keep it down?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Tell them the neighbors are complaining, it's your house there,
- 57:40Speaker 1: in your home. All you have to do is say, listen,
- 57:42Speaker 1: I'm happy to have you guys here, or whatever you
- 57:44Speaker 1: want to say, but could you guys please keep it down.
- 57:48Speaker 1: I think the real problem is is that you and
- 57:50Speaker 1: your wife aren't getting busy like this couple is, and
- 57:54Speaker 1: it's making you kind of jealous and kind of thinking
- 57:56Speaker 1: some kind of way. So now your turn yet, Kevin,
- 58:04Speaker 1: that's your turns. So anyway, I think that's what the
- 58:08Speaker 1: real problem is. But at your house, you can't be
- 58:10Speaker 1: afraid to tell somebody to, you know, keep it down
- 58:12Speaker 1: in your own house. And neighbors are complaining all of us,
- 58:15Speaker 1: it's your house. What you got, Kevi? Well, first of all, uh,
- 58:19Speaker 1: that's an old person's mentality. Okay, all right, okay, all right.
- 58:23Speaker 1: If somebody in there and they're banging, that should acts motivation. Right.

- 1:02:46Speaker 1: we're back. We're in the middle of the Strawberry Leadder.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: The title is what could they be possibly doing in there?
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: What could they possibly be in there? I'm gonna read
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: it for you again since we have a little time here, Kevin.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You read Dear Stephen Shirley, My wife and I have
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: allowed our friend and his girlfriend to stay at our
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: apartment for a few weeks. They don't care. I know,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: they just bought a condo and they are waiting for
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: a few repairs to be finished before they move in.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I don't mind them staying with me. But there's one
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: big problem. They are too darn loud there in the
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: guest room across the hall from our bedroom, and it
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: seems like every night the bed is squeaking and the
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: headboard is slamming against the wall, and both of them
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: are screaming to the top of their lungs. My neighbor
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: is so stupid. My neighbor is good, that's what they
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: should be saying. Right. My neighbor is constantly banging on
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the wall and has asked me to encourage them to
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: keep it down. I'm equally but I'm too embarrassed to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: say anything to them. I don't know if I should
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: say something or just ride it out. They'll be gone
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: in two weeks, but dang, my life and I have
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: to get up early mornings for work and we can't
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: get any sleep. Can it be that good? What could
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: they possibly be doing to each other? Should I just
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: let it go or ask them to keep it down?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Please help? It's your house. You can ask them whatever
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you want to ask them. You can't be afraid to
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: do that. You don't ask him to keep it down.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You turned up, you put the loud on. The matter
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: of fact, this Sunday Super Bowl Sunday. This is the
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: day you get him out because you put that Super
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Bowl love on him the whole day. Press them hard,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: you understand. But let me tell you. If you man coverage,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: man coverage up in here, pre show scrimmage, but naked
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: with your Philadelphia helmets on and run dad at each other,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: drop down and get some love in right there in
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: front of everybody. I did it one time, and I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: had my eagle on my back the whole time. You
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: have all you got to do it to the case
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: for the thief. Get the case for the so the
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: feet don't scratch you up and the eagles stay there.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Does Why you get the case from which someone? When
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: you get it from the outdoor story, you don't know
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: nothing but you You got the case on and you
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: walk around. Yes, it goes over your shoulders on your back.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: It's called an eagle backfoot. Yes, you guys don't know anything.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: You give us for nothing. You can get your booking
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: with the eagle. I can't. But I'm just different. I'm
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: a different recommended for everybody. Everybody can't maneuver like you know.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Sometimes you just got to drop down and get your ego.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That's all you got to do you believe you believe
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in the halftime humping, then well yeah, honestly, I mean
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I think depending on who you're rooting for and what's
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: going on with the games. Yeah, I'm saying like, if
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: you're going for the pages in there down, then you'll
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: have tom hump session. Ain't gonna be that happy and good,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you know. But if you up and you decided to
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: get a little dip off in there to celebrate, ain't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: nothing wrong with that. And sometimes you got to go
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: for the first down and what you got to do
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: to change? You know, you'll be back in time, I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: will say, though, you know what I want to say,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: and this is on the you know the homeowners be
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: haf Yeah, this is the annoying noises. You know what
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: what what kind of noises are we talking about? Is
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: it the unnecessary? They said they're screaming at the top
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: of their lungs. That's what they're screaming. You know how
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: good the good that is? You go, you go top
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: of lawns with you guys to go get out of
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: my mouse. A lot of breathing, a lot of breathing
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: in what is the eagle doing that? That's when it
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: was quiet. You got to do is feed him macarona
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: cheese and set a eagle down. Is heavy on the
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: eagle stomach. He ain't gonna be active. The eagle know
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: what's going on. No already, ain't no bit to heal.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: You think you ain't never seen two people get after that? Yeah,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: ain't never seen you? Yeah, ain't already actually think that
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: the eagle that hasn't seen it? Where you lived, man,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it's two thousand and eighteen. Eagles out here. Yeah, I know,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: y'alling that I'm in the eagle neighborhood. Yeah, we had
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: eagles out here. Man. I'm just telling you all what
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I'm never loving. Go on. I'm just telling y'all. If
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you if you are that allowed, you know, maybe you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: should try. Can tell like out can tell are you're
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: definitely at home? I can see it. Yeah, yeah, should
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: give you said you like to make noises? Animal you
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: always make not man? I just right like an just
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: said that that. Wow, what's your favorite animal? I'm just saying, Okay,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I do you know I do like a little puppy. No,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: come on, oh no, no, ye like carl say she
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: got a turtle that go on, Carlin making a crazy
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: noise that anybody wear a turtle that scream no Carla,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: no Sam. Yes, they say Monica hits you with a
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: deep voice. Now come on, now you know you any
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you know you do I'm you supposed to do? Now

- 1:09:39Speaker 1: want to do. Encourage whatever you whatever you do, you
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: want to do it so good that the other people
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: just take a knee. That's all I'm saying. Super Bowl talk.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: When we come back, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: Thank you, Shirley Strawberry. All right, Kevin, yeah hard you're
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: ready to texting phone call? I'm ready to take some
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: phone calls. I'm here, i am prepared, i am fully, fully,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: fully in motion. I'm active, I'm doing everything that i
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: want to do, and I'm okay, yeah up, all right,

- 1:10:20Speaker 1: home station in Philly, w d A. Yes, one oh
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: five point three. So State of the Union speech last night?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Hello did you see it? Kevin? Did I see it?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: President's first State of the Union. What I'm saying, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: you saw it? What you think? Well, I mean, look it.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just my mama took me. Vone got
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: nothing good to say? Say all were you up with
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the Republicans at every word? He's just clinging to every
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: word and just clapping right to ask yourself, what are
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: you that something profound you're saying? I think I'm just
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I think what do you guys not understand? So it's
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: one more time now you down your down. Sometimes you
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: just got to make a decision for you talking. I'm
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: saying what I'm saying it is, Look, there's no need
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to be in sideways unless you're going down or what well,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: what you got to do with the state of age?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: And what about when? When he said this to me,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: I call upon all of us to set aside our differences,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: to seek out common ground, and to summon the unity
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: we need to deliver the people we were elected to serve.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: About town about time you use the word unity, because
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: now that's what I profound, real world unity was. Yeah,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: that's the word that I that I use on a
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: regular basis. I'm big on unity, you know. I'm big
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: going to simply bringing the world closer together to laughter.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Thank you, guys. I'm gonna go third person for a second.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: The beauty of Kevin Hart. I'm an individual has the
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: ability to bring all races, ethnicities together under one roof,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: be a arena, stadium, whatever it may be that I'm
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: performing in, and we all do the same thing. Laugh. Yeah,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: letna tell you what laughter does. It heals all wounds. Now,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I don't want to get too deep because that's not
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: my job. But if I was a shovel, I would
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: go six ft be hear me or not. I show
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I'm not here. I'm not. I'm not here to get deep.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: But if I was, I would say this. You can't
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: pull a chair out and and unfold the seat unless
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: a person has the means that are willing to buckle
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: and do what they do best. What the cat have
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: to do. The state the unions that we are breaking down,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying to get you a metaphor us Carl,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: you're not following my less knowledge, and I'm not put
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: your hand out if you don't want me to grab
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: it now, I'm not happen. I'm saying is that I'm
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: grabbing your hand, but you're not keeping up because your
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: shoes untied? What are you talking about? Talking about the
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: way you were brought up? The compressional black What I'm
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: talking about is the way that you were raised. Okay,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump was raised wrong congressional black, congression black whole night,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: don't Yeah you saw the faces okay, as a sign
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: of unhappiness. Guys, we know that we're not happy with
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: things being said. We know where the real change needs
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: to be made. We know that right now, we know
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: the difference when people are selling wolf tickets versus people
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: that are really taking actions to make change. With that
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: being said, we're not buying into what's being who's being
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: uh presented. You're not buying into Yeah, yeah, smarter And
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: we understand. But also, and this isn't to get too deep.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: As people, we have to understand that we got to
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: take action for our own our own action, in other words,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: what we want, we have to go and actually make change.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: November I didn't want to. I didn't want I don't
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: understand the folded chair. But I'm with you on the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: end because you're not ready to sit down. Brother, I'm
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: saying you see what I'm saying. It's a man that's
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: been standing up for way too long, and I'm trying
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: to tell you what to do. Okay. I can't continue
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: to preach the people that don't want to be preached to, brother,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: But what I can do is simply motivatevate inspired the day.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: We want more. We want to be better than we
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: have to take. Actually, like he think he's than that.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: The word the word think, it's a word that weak
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: people use. We people use the word thing because I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: don't think. Got now pointing out your head for I'm
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: not pointing in my hand. I'm pointing in my temple.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: You don't think what your head. See what I'm saying,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I give your church. My temple is the place where
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I get the deepest. That's where meditation comes from. It
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: don't come from your head. It comes from your temple.
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Your temples at the top, the top is where the
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: thought comes from. The thought comes from what the tear.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: A tear comes from dropped out your We're gonna have you.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: That's stupid at best. Right there, I can't even President's
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: speech was eighty minutes long. Eighty minutes, but it was
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: two pieces of paper. Yeah, that's aause, two pieces. He
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: just talks so slow. No, I was gonna say, it's
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: a long pauses in between one serious. You guys know
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I'm silly all the time. It's the long pauses in
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: between that draw Donald Trump speeches. He's not saying nothing. Well,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: he didn't talk about the Russia investigation. Of course he's
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: not going to talk about that. He didn't mention that. Nothing.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Now to talk about that. The king of dancing around
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: right there, he's gonna dance around it, trying to get
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: everybody fired. Is the most powerful man. Well, he's saying nothing.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: He got to know something. But that was great. Any
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: any um partying anything parting? Before we go to this

- 1:22:10Speaker 1: first got the eagle, that's when the eagle had to
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: go get trained. Man connected, he was out train and
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: then after that when I went back to my house

- 1:22:38Speaker 1: ye yea yea very from Philippin. That's what I'm anybody
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: lying that he saw saying matter back. I remember the
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: day saw it because the day I graduated from Nington,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: my eagle flew back. It was on the roof and
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I came out of side. That's when my mom was like, hey,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: you're eagle, and she gave me my thing to put
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: on my arm, you know, and I was like, yo,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I'm sorrvy. I graduated, put my arm out. Eagle landed
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: on me, and that's when everybody my nickname started, and
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: it was eagle. Boy. Did you name your eagle? Yeah?
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: What was the eagle's name? Taiwan? Taiwan. I was boy,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: but that was my nickname. I was still Kevin, but
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: my nickname was and Taiwan. You know, we gave him
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: that name because he was just like a cool dude.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: You know, dude, you know what I mean. Has you
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: and Taiwan even been in a fight? Taiwan? Yeah, yeah, yeah, Taiwan. Well,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: it wasn't really a fight. It was an altercation. It
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: was quick. There wasn't nothing crazy. You know. I got
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: into it and Taiwan. You know, at the time, I
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: didn't know that it was illegal to not get his
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: beak shaved down. Uh. So he's still had no no, no,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: he's still a sharp beak. So I had a little situation.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Taiwan rolled up to two beak hits right. Hold that
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: right there, is fascinating about what happened. More phone calls seven, Kevin,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: we come back eight seven. You're listening, Steve har We

- 1:25:07Speaker 1: great detail. I would much rather put my my business
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: out there myself to have other people attempt to do
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: it without knowing me in full because I think it's
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: always better when it comes for me. My fans appreciate it.

- 1:25:45Speaker 1: on a daily basis. And the fact that I have

- 1:28:23Speaker 1: by surprise. You know that he didn't have no idea why.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: I think Dr Rivers was caught by surprise. Yeah, because
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: what happened Junior, everybody tried to Detroit. Here's a sad
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: part about it, though, is that just about a year ago,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Remember they locked DeAndre Jordan's down in Houston. They had
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: DeAndre Jordan, made Jordan not signed with the marriage to
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: come back because they said Blake was gonna be there,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: Chris Paul was gonna be there, Chris Paul over there
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: with the Chris Paul gone, and now DeAndre stuck with
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: the with the Clippers, and they got rid of Blake.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: But he's brave. Can we get Ben after this after
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the season, because here's the sad part about to do
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: in the all season they told like, they warned him.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: Next they gave him the pitch, gave him the money
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: game the Clippers, the Clippers, and then they trained him
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: out of nowhere. He didn't even know, he didn't know.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: They had no clue. He's been he's been with the
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: Clippers since he started, right man, Yeah, it was that
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: was had no idea. Oklahoma just retired as jersey. This
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: is what college in college. Because Detroit are selling the
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: Blake Griffin jersey. They printed him up last week. He
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: did him. That's what Blake Griffin tweeted. I like his tweet.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: It was class. Yeah. Needed a night to digest and
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: reflect on what happened from being a number one pick
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: to lobs City to six straight playoff appearances. I am
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: so proud to have been a part of the success
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: of the Clippers organization. L A has been my home
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: since I started in the league, and I will be
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: forever grateful to the city for embracing me and supporting me.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: To the fans, you have been awesome every step of

- 1:30:20Speaker 1: helping the Detroit Pistons make a run in the Eastern Conference.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: He didn't, he didn't write that. His agent wrote that
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: I'll be down. I'll tell you what first chance I get,
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: because it was a surprise to him at the press conference,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: was like he hates these kinds of things because he
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: developed a relationship with the players, you know, good or bad,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: and he's the business. Yeah, it's just the business. I mean,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: how would you feel if you got transferred off yo. Jab. Well,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: I'm letting y'all know now if you move me out

- 1:31:34Speaker 1: said it was perceived as a double standard when it
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: comes to loyalty. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he said that. Yeah. Wow,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: this is business all right. Yeah, we'll be back with
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: more of the show right after this. Stick around. Just
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: one more thing, just one more thing? Yeah, what one
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: more thing? You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, um,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is not here today. Um, this is usually
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, he has a day off today. He
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: deserves that, usually the time that he does his closing remarks.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: But in light of the fact that our president gave
