- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn turn the water the water? Come,
- 1:57Speaker 1: come on your baby at it? Uh huh. I show
- 2:01Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I said, come on now dig me the one and
- 2:07Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, Now, I'm
- 2:13Speaker 1: gonna be really honest with you this morning. I really
- 2:17Speaker 1: don't know what to say. I really don't. I was
- 2:24Speaker 1: sitting here and I was thinking what do I say today?
- 2:30Speaker 1: I do know that I want to be encouraging, uplifting
- 2:35Speaker 1: and inspirational in some way to affect somebody today. Oftentimes,
- 2:41Speaker 1: these conversations that I have in the mornings, they're designed
- 2:46Speaker 1: with me because I am. I needed myself, y'all to
- 2:50Speaker 1: be honest with you. I mean, you know who makes
- 2:55Speaker 1: the comedian laugh? I used to say all the time,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and even know what we talk about in the morning
- 3:02Speaker 1: is not a laughing matter. It kind of like it's
- 3:05Speaker 1: who I am today. You know, I need motivation in
- 3:10Speaker 1: my life sometimes myself. I think when I get in
- 3:14Speaker 1: moments like this, I often resort back to the same
- 3:20Speaker 1: thing over and over and over. And when I find
- 3:24Speaker 1: myself in certain predicaments, I can always fall back on
- 3:30Speaker 1: the same thing over and over. So while I'm sitting
- 3:34Speaker 1: here trying to figure out what to say to you,
- 3:37Speaker 1: the one thing that I did do this morning that
- 3:41Speaker 1: I find to be very consistent in me is that
- 3:44Speaker 1: I find myself grateful. I'm ever grateful for the things
- 3:50Speaker 1: that God has done for me. I may not always
- 3:54Speaker 1: know what to say, but I know how to say
- 3:57Speaker 1: thank you. I do. I know how to remember and
- 4:01Speaker 1: reflect back on where I come from. I know how
- 4:06Speaker 1: to realize where all my blessings come from. I'm very
- 4:12Speaker 1: very conscious of my journey that I've been on, the
- 4:18Speaker 1: the one that was from then until now, that journey
- 4:22Speaker 1: right there is it's been. It's been. It's been. It's
- 4:27Speaker 1: been difficult, man, it really really has. I ain't gonna
- 4:30Speaker 1: lie to you, um me, becoming successful was very difficult,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but as hard as this is to say, I really
- 4:43Speaker 1: really mean this. I wouldn't change nothing about the trip
- 4:49Speaker 1: I've been on number one, because I can't change anything
- 4:56Speaker 1: about it. So I never lived my life in regret.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But the main thing is was I discovered along the
- 5:04Speaker 1: way now not doing the process when you're going through
- 5:09Speaker 1: rough moments that you can't hardly see the good in
- 5:12Speaker 1: it at the time. It's just rough for you and
- 5:15Speaker 1: it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes I thought it was unfair.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But as I am now, I needed every single thing
- 5:24Speaker 1: that happened to me that happened to me to happen
- 5:29Speaker 1: to me. I hope that makes sense to you. I
- 5:35Speaker 1: needed everything to happen in the exact order and the
- 5:39Speaker 1: exact way that it happened in order for me to
- 5:44Speaker 1: be the person that I've become. And that right there,
- 5:49Speaker 1: man is just very comforting to me. Missus Jakes told
- 5:54Speaker 1: me one time, he said, the closer you get to God,
- 5:58Speaker 1: the more friendly you all be come, the more He
- 6:02Speaker 1: will reveal to you or the how it comes and
- 6:07Speaker 1: the what fays of a lot of things has happened
- 6:09Speaker 1: to you. Because a lot of times what troubles us
- 6:12Speaker 1: is we just can't understand why we lost that love
- 6:15Speaker 1: one back then. We just can't understand why we didn't
- 6:20Speaker 1: get what we wanted back then. We just don't understand
- 6:24Speaker 1: how come our plan didn't work out and we had
- 6:27Speaker 1: to fail so miserably back then. We don't understand the
- 6:31Speaker 1: answers to these things. Well, the closer I've gotten to God,
- 6:35Speaker 1: the more of those explanations have become crystal clear to me.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And See, the one thing that I came to the
- 6:42Speaker 1: realization everybody is that the things that was happening to me,
- 6:46Speaker 1: they wasn't really all bad. They really wasn't that they
- 6:50Speaker 1: didn't taste good. When it was happening. I didn't enjoy
- 6:54Speaker 1: what I was going through. But as I look back
- 6:56Speaker 1: on him and reflect now, it wasn't all bad. Some
- 6:59Speaker 1: of those things so necessary for me to get the
- 7:01Speaker 1: information because say, I don't know about you, but I'm
- 7:04Speaker 1: kind of hard headed and stubborn. I said, I don't
- 7:08Speaker 1: know about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I kind of like to think that I know something
- 7:15Speaker 1: about some things every now and then, and the things
- 7:19Speaker 1: I am convinced about I don't really really care for
- 7:23Speaker 1: people trying to talk me off mine. So I can
- 7:27Speaker 1: be stubborn and hard headed. Sometimes God knows that about me.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So I think to get some of the messages crystal
- 7:34Speaker 1: clear through to me that I needed to learn. That
- 7:37Speaker 1: was this process I had to go through. That process
- 7:39Speaker 1: was my journey, It was my trip. It was my woe,
- 7:44Speaker 1: my pain. Say, everybody got them different, It don't matter
- 7:47Speaker 1: what it is. Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain,
- 7:50Speaker 1: everybody got a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got
- 7:54Speaker 1: some challenge. I don't care who you are. Dudes, quit
- 7:57Speaker 1: looking at me thinking that I got it going on
- 7:59Speaker 1: so tough man if Steve, yeah, it's easy for you
- 8:02Speaker 1: to say that, but you ain't here. You don't know. Wow, Ben,
- 8:07Speaker 1: if you would stop hanging yourself up on your pass,
- 8:10Speaker 1: worrying about your woes and your troubles and the situation
- 8:14Speaker 1: you in, and start praying and start asking God to
- 8:18Speaker 1: get you through it. See a lot of times you
- 8:21Speaker 1: messed it. You messed a message up yourself, because when
- 8:24Speaker 1: you're going through some stuff, you ask God to remove
- 8:26Speaker 1: it and take it away. That ain't the lesson you
- 8:29Speaker 1: got to learn your lesson. Sometimes it's it's got to
- 8:32Speaker 1: be how to be strong, how to see it through,
- 8:37Speaker 1: how to bear under it, how to carry that weight
- 8:41Speaker 1: long distances for long periods of time. That's how you
- 8:45Speaker 1: get strong. The lesson is to make you stronger. But
- 8:48Speaker 1: to make you stronger, you got to carry the weight.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You can't get stronger. You're gonna go to the gym,
- 8:53Speaker 1: or you're gonna do something at your house to lift
- 8:54Speaker 1: your own body weight. See, a lot of people can't
- 8:59Speaker 1: even do push ups down. They can't get down. And
- 9:03Speaker 1: then the course of a day, give you a hundred
- 9:05Speaker 1: push ups because they ain't. They ain't, they ain't never
- 9:08Speaker 1: try to daybody. They get to twenty and that shake
- 9:11Speaker 1: it so bad they stop. WHOA, that's too much for me. Well,
- 9:14Speaker 1: let me tell you something. So I learned to quit
- 9:16Speaker 1: praying to take stuff away. My prayer became to give
- 9:19Speaker 1: me the strength to handle it. People oftentimes ask me,
- 9:22Speaker 1: how do you do all that you do in the
- 9:24Speaker 1: course of the day. I don't really know. I just
- 9:28Speaker 1: know I can because I know God don't put more
- 9:32Speaker 1: on you than you can back. So when you ask
- 9:35Speaker 1: me how you do all of what you do in
- 9:37Speaker 1: the course of the day, I got God. God is good.
- 9:41Speaker 1: He'll get you through whatever it is you're going through.
- 9:43Speaker 1: So when you're tripping in you don't know what to say,
- 9:47Speaker 1: reflect and be grateful for all you reflect on. Think
- 9:52Speaker 1: about God's goodness and watch what He do for you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's the cold part. Okay, you're listening, show you know what.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I'm excited today. You know why because I'm alive and well.
- 10:08Speaker 1: You know why because of God's grace and mercy. You
- 10:12Speaker 1: know why, because it's a promise of his. You know why,
- 10:16Speaker 1: because he loves us so very much. You know why
- 10:20Speaker 1: because he created us. I said, that's a good reason
- 10:25Speaker 1: to be excited today. Folks. I don't care what's going
- 10:29Speaker 1: on in this world. Don't let this world inside your house.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Don't let this world inside your heart. Don't give this
- 10:38Speaker 1: world no section of your soul. No sir, no sir.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I only surrender to God. That is it. So today
- 10:49Speaker 1: is a day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 10:51Speaker 1: rejoice and be glad in it. Steve Harveys sitting up
- 10:54Speaker 1: in here, just glad for what I'm just I just
- 10:57Speaker 1: told you, I just told you you what I was
- 11:00Speaker 1: glad about. Shirley Strawberry. I'm gonna turn on my Mic
- 11:06Speaker 1: and then I'm gonna tell you I'm glad too. I'm
- 11:08Speaker 1: glad right with you, Steve. I thought I thought he
- 11:11Speaker 1: was like tripping or something. Okay, she didn't want to
- 11:14Speaker 1: hear that. This always always blessing Holly favored. I got you, Shirley,
- 11:21Speaker 1: you were praying. Thank you. I'm glad about it, your sir.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Top of the morning. Yeah, everything everything well Friday. For
- 11:35Speaker 1: those of you that haven't heard the news, Arizona has
- 11:41Speaker 1: conceded to Joe Biden. Yeah, Arizona has ended that count.
- 11:48Speaker 1: The representative on Man who was also a Republican. Uh,
- 11:55Speaker 1: the Georgia is going into a hand count. The guy
- 11:58Speaker 1: that's in charge of that is a Republican. Yeah. He
- 12:01Speaker 1: said he's counting the votes fairly even though the guy
- 12:05Speaker 1: he voted for didn't win. That's right, I saw him,
- 12:09Speaker 1: the lieutenant governor. Yeah right, Yeah. Next Wednesday is when
- 12:14Speaker 1: we'll get those results. Steve. So, then that's it. Ain't
- 12:17Speaker 1: don't need to recounting Philly. You lost by over fill
- 12:20Speaker 1: it fifty to recount Georgie. You're down by fourteen. You're
- 12:24Speaker 1: not fitting to come back fourteen and a man. And
- 12:27Speaker 1: let me say this to y'all. I want you all
- 12:29Speaker 1: to understand what you have to be paying attention to.
- 12:34Speaker 1: That is no widespread, systematic voters fraud, which is what
- 12:42Speaker 1: you look for. Are you gonna find somebody dead who
- 12:46Speaker 1: voted yes, Yes, somebody sent a battlet to somebody's house.
- 12:50Speaker 1: They uncle died, they sent it back in like he
- 12:52Speaker 1: voted yes. But that happens on both sides. Yeah, it
- 12:56Speaker 1: happens every election, every election. They know that, but they're
- 13:00Speaker 1: looking for widespread and there is no. There's not a
- 13:03Speaker 1: Republican governor, a similar chair, attorney general of a state,
- 13:08Speaker 1: anybody who has said they have found anything. His family
- 13:12Speaker 1: is split about it. Ivanka wants him to find a
- 13:15Speaker 1: way to gracefully walk away. His two sons, who he
- 13:18Speaker 1: raised just like him, wants him to fight. Whatever y'all do,
- 13:23Speaker 1: get out. Every fight got an end to it though everyone.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Every fight got to ask whooping winner loser? All right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: asks the clo Coming up right after this at thirty
- 13:40Speaker 1: two minutes after you're listening to Steven show, time to
- 13:46Speaker 1: go rogue, which is howered by the super stylish twenty
- 13:49Speaker 1: twenty one Nissan Rogue. So Steve quickly, please tell us
- 13:53Speaker 1: about when going rogue turned out right for you? Come? Oh,
- 13:58Speaker 1: yes of that? You're talking about me, that rogue? Well
- 14:05Speaker 1: portion in my life are we dealing with today? You
- 14:08Speaker 1: tell us what you're feeling. Rich rogue, Poor rogue? What
- 14:13Speaker 1: is it? Come on, transition in the middle, rogue, rogue?
- 14:22Speaker 1: How about my latest rogue? This would be an interesting
- 14:28Speaker 1: story of comeback proportions never been said on the radio. Oh,
- 14:36Speaker 1: two years ago, a certain network that I will not mention.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It only has three letters in it, and it's major
- 14:47Speaker 1: that narrow down. It's not ABC, and it's not CBS
- 14:55Speaker 1: or X it's neither one of them. But I'm not
- 15:00Speaker 1: gonna say, released an article out two years ago at
- 15:06Speaker 1: the beginning of the year to the sort of Hollywood
- 15:10Speaker 1: reporter that we're looking for someone like Steve Harvey who
- 15:15Speaker 1: was able to do it all. We need another one
- 15:18Speaker 1: of him too. Well, some things happened and they got
- 15:24Speaker 1: into a dispute with a certain company that I'm involved with,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and so they decided, I'll tell you what, let's get
- 15:31Speaker 1: rid of him. So they took what they thought was
- 15:36Speaker 1: a TV show or two, and to their demise, the
- 15:43Speaker 1: two they wanted to get rid of me and thought
- 15:46Speaker 1: if they took both of them, that they were canceling.
- 15:49Speaker 1: What they didn't realize was I was gonna go roll.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I was not going to do a letter writing campaign.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I was not going to ask him for my job back.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I simply remember something that I learned a long time ago.
- 16:04Speaker 1: When someone closes a door, you need to go rogue
- 16:09Speaker 1: and go up the hallway because they are oftentimes another
- 16:13Speaker 1: door that God wants you to go through just because
- 16:17Speaker 1: that went closed. So when the door closed, you don't
- 16:20Speaker 1: stand that knock it on the door. You got to
- 16:22Speaker 1: go roll, go up the hallway and see what God
- 16:26Speaker 1: has in store for you. I went up the hallway,
- 16:28Speaker 1: and next thing you know, excuse me, an announcement, Steve
- 16:34Speaker 1: Harvey's Facebook show is the number two viewed spectacle on
- 16:41Speaker 1: the entire Facebook platform. Yeah yeah, yeah, you know why
- 16:49Speaker 1: that happened because I went roll Because I don't get
- 16:54Speaker 1: nobody control of me except my heavenly fall. Amen. Amen,
- 17:00Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Amen, let's keep it going. Why not?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Let's go rogue with your favorite segment. It's called Asked
- 17:06Speaker 1: the clo It is being sponsored today by the all
- 17:09Speaker 1: new twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue Now This one is
- 17:13Speaker 1: from Busted in Missouri. Busted says, Yeah, Busted says, I've
- 17:18Speaker 1: been married for two years and my wife and I
- 17:20Speaker 1: live in a building with a great gym. I use
- 17:23Speaker 1: it as my creep spot because only two people can
- 17:26Speaker 1: be there being there at a time, and my wife
- 17:29Speaker 1: does not work out. I was in the gym one
- 17:31Speaker 1: night getting an oral treat from a friend, and the
- 17:34Speaker 1: next day our building manager put a note on our door.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You heard me, You heard me, put a note on
- 17:42Speaker 1: our door with a five hundred dollars fine for having
- 17:44Speaker 1: sex in a public place. My wife did not understand
- 17:47Speaker 1: the fine, so she emailed management. Then they emailed her
- 17:51Speaker 1: a video of the alleged act. Luckily, the video is grainy,
- 17:55Speaker 1: so you can't tell it's me. My wife is trying
- 17:57Speaker 1: to get an attorney to fight this fine. I just
- 18:00Speaker 1: don't want it to go I just wanted to go away.
- 18:03Speaker 1: How should I handle this? What you need to do,
- 18:05Speaker 1: dog is take five hundred dollars down to that damn
- 18:08Speaker 1: office and pay that damn fine. And then every when
- 18:16Speaker 1: your wife gets that lawyer, you go down to that
- 18:20Speaker 1: lawyer's office and put in a terrorist threat. If you
- 18:27Speaker 1: call Hill one more time. Yeah, man, you you're in trouble. Dog.
- 18:34Speaker 1: First of all, can I say something to him? But dog,
- 18:36Speaker 1: you know you know what at your house? Man? Are
- 18:40Speaker 1: you for real? Your creep spot is at your house?
- 18:44Speaker 1: How dumb? I don't you know what? Man? Look, I
- 18:47Speaker 1: got people. People have moments of infidelity. I get it,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I get it. I ain't joyed you, But dog, there
- 18:54Speaker 1: has to be respect to it, like like man when
- 18:57Speaker 1: I hear dudes. Man, Man, my wife came home only
- 19:00Speaker 1: for work and I had another girl in the bed.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Dog and your wife's bad. Dog? You worse? You do that? Yeah,
- 19:09Speaker 1: that's fine, man, antybody got nothing for you. Man. And
- 19:14Speaker 1: Grainy or not? You know your husband? She knows who
- 19:17Speaker 1: she knows it? No, no, surely she don't know it's
- 19:20Speaker 1: him because she's going to get a lawyer. The moment
- 19:24Speaker 1: that woman think is him? No, no, no, it must
- 19:28Speaker 1: be real Grainy. Okay, real graining. I would know him. Yeah,
- 19:36Speaker 1: all right. James is an iHeart radio app and radio
- 19:40Speaker 1: app listener in Canada. Steve. I recently moved to Canada
- 19:43Speaker 1: to do step work for a movie, and I've been
- 19:46Speaker 1: dating a beautiful girl that's made my transition go smoothly.
- 19:49Speaker 1: There's just one problem. She's a mulatto and I'm black
- 19:53Speaker 1: as tar. She loves to touch my skin and call
- 19:56Speaker 1: me her dark night and licorice stick. She said, I'm
- 19:59Speaker 1: the first black man she's ever dated, and she's asked
- 20:02Speaker 1: me what it's like to be black. I told her
- 20:04Speaker 1: she is black, but she doesn't get it. Should I
- 20:07Speaker 1: try to educate her before she gets around my black
- 20:10Speaker 1: female friends? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're gonna need to
- 20:17Speaker 1: do that. Though. You need to do that because Melinda
- 20:23Speaker 1: and Kesha they're not gonna be Yeah. Yeah, you need
- 20:30Speaker 1: to educate her real fans. Now, that's cool that she's
- 20:33Speaker 1: intrigued by it. There's nothing wrong with that. I understand it.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You know, your dark night and all that. All that's cool,
- 20:39Speaker 1: but you know you need to watch all that when
- 20:41Speaker 1: you get around other people. See, you accepted this dark
- 20:44Speaker 1: night stuff because you have it sex people that's not
- 20:49Speaker 1: having sexual to not fit to be your damn dog night?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Ye that? Yeah? All right, you're finna get this candy cane. Okay.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I don't know if we have enough time for this one, Steve,
- 21:04Speaker 1: so you can, all right? Ivon and South philm Michigan says,
- 21:08Speaker 1: I'm in my early sixties dating a very handsome man
- 21:11Speaker 1: that's a few years older. He's perfect for me and
- 21:13Speaker 1: always except one. I prefer to be nude ninety percent
- 21:16Speaker 1: of the time when I'm at home, and that's a
- 21:18Speaker 1: problem for him. When he met me, I was barely dressed.
- 21:21Speaker 1: We can't do it, just too good. Tommy's run that
- 21:29Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey

- 21:41Speaker 1: won the state of Arizona. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, and
- 21:46Speaker 1: uh entertainment news. President Obama admits the presidency caused a
- 21:50Speaker 1: marriage strain with he and Michelle. We'll talk about all
- 21:53Speaker 1: of this as the top of the hour. What but
- 21:56Speaker 1: right now, the nephew stress stress yea, hey, can I

- 29:32Speaker 1: soul Out Saturday Night, Soul Out Sunday. The five o'clock
- 29:36Speaker 1: show was sold out, and I just added another one

- 29:41Speaker 1: the show in atl Uptown Comedy Club COVID Friendly, which
- 29:46Speaker 1: we're gonna have you spread out all throughout the room.
- 29:49Speaker 1: All right, all right, can't sell out what it normally do,

- 29:57Speaker 1: come all right, be safe nephew, and be funny. I
- 30:03Speaker 1: call what Steve? What were you going to say? Not
- 30:09Speaker 1: after that? Nothing? You have nothing coming up in twenty
- 30:17Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll take your phone calls eight
- 30:20Speaker 1: seven seven, twenty nine Steve. Right after this, you're listening
- 30:24Speaker 1: to the Steve Morning Show. The countdown is on for
- 30:29Speaker 1: President Barack Obama's new memoir to hit stores and recently
- 30:34Speaker 1: released excerpts from a Promised Land that's the name of
- 30:37Speaker 1: the book, we find out, among other things, a real
- 30:39Speaker 1: deal on how the presidency affected his marriage to First
- 30:42Speaker 1: Lady Michelle Obama. While the President and First Lady always
- 30:46Speaker 1: presented a happy United front for the world to see.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It wasn't as rosie behind the scenes. It was as
- 30:53Speaker 1: if confined as we were within the walls of the
- 30:58Speaker 1: White House, all her pre vias, sources of frustration became
- 31:02Speaker 1: more concentrated, more vivid. Whether it was my round the
- 31:06Speaker 1: clock absorption with work, these are President Obama's words now
- 31:10Speaker 1: or the way politics exposed our family to scrutiny and attacks. Fortunately,
- 31:14Speaker 1: the Obama's love story continues and they celebrated twenty eight
- 31:17Speaker 1: years of marriage, thank god. Meanwhile, A Promised Land hits
- 31:21Speaker 1: stores on Tuesday. Wow, love that. I mean, you know
- 31:26Speaker 1: it's called marriage. Yeah, yeah, it's called marriage. It is.
- 31:32Speaker 1: And the president You think somebody has just a happy,
- 31:37Speaker 1: go lucky Oh my god, it's so beautiful. It's got
- 31:40Speaker 1: his issues and problems, every last one of them. Yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 1: that's right. So again, President Obama's new book called A
- 31:47Speaker 1: Promised Land hits stores on Tuesday and other new CNN
- 31:51Speaker 1: projected that Joe Biden, Joe Biden, our president elect, has
- 31:55Speaker 1: won the state of Arizona, yagulations. He now has two
- 32:01Speaker 1: hundred and ninety electoral votes. Still, when we get through
- 32:04Speaker 1: count George and how mean we go ahead? When we
- 32:06Speaker 1: get through one million. Yeah, yeah, he won period. Yeah. Still,
- 32:13Speaker 1: President Trump is refusing to acknowledge these election results. In
- 32:18Speaker 1: an upcoming interview with sixty Minutes, President Obama says this
- 32:21Speaker 1: is a dangerous path. He is concerned about Republicans honoring Trump.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Take a listen. I'm more troubled by the fact that
- 32:29Speaker 1: other Republican officials who clearly know better, are going along
- 32:33Speaker 1: with us, are humoring him in this fashion. It is
- 32:38Speaker 1: one more step in de legitimizing not just the incoming
- 32:42Speaker 1: Biden administration, but democracy generally. And that's a dangerous path.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Yes it is, Yes it is. It's really sad. We
- 32:53Speaker 1: all see it. Like the commercial says, we see it.
- 32:56Speaker 1: We all see it. But everybody but him and other
- 33:00Speaker 1: news federal, state, and locally election officials said yesterday that
- 33:04Speaker 1: the twenty twenty election was the most secure in American history.
- 33:10Speaker 1: All right, was the most secure in American history, directly
- 33:15Speaker 1: contradicting Donald Trump's repeat of a false claim that a
- 33:18Speaker 1: voting machine system deleted two point seven million Trump votes nationwide.
- 33:23Speaker 1: You need to come on, this is a fantasy. You're
- 33:27Speaker 1: living a fantasy world. Jeez, why are you laughing still?
- 33:33Speaker 1: And what was all the Republicans doing while it's two
- 33:36Speaker 1: million votes because they work at the polls. Yeah yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 1: stop believing the the They called the voting system a
- 33:46Speaker 1: democratic system because it was fun democracy. Yeah, that's it's
- 33:52Speaker 1: called a democracy. That makes it democratic. We have a
- 33:55Speaker 1: democratic voting We have a democracy voting system. That's what
- 33:59Speaker 1: it is. Stop just play on words, man, Republicans at
- 34:03Speaker 1: every voting pole of Republicans get to see every single
- 34:07Speaker 1: ballot just like Democrats do. Right, period. Man, Let's come on, Well,
- 34:13Speaker 1: what else? He's worried about his money too, Steve, did
- 34:20Speaker 1: you hear that he's worried about his money. He's worried
- 34:22Speaker 1: about going to jail. He knows. That's why he can't concede.
- 34:28Speaker 1: He got to fight everything you can this man. If
- 34:32Speaker 1: you have the ability to parton yourself, even as the president,
- 34:36Speaker 1: you can only pardon yourself from federal crimes, okay, because
- 34:42Speaker 1: to pardon yourself from federal crimes is to admit guilt. Which, now,
- 34:51Speaker 1: when he goes away and we get rid of bar
- 34:54Speaker 1: and we get a new attorney general and a new leader,
- 34:57Speaker 1: all of that uncovered document mints from the Muller, all
- 35:02Speaker 1: that's getting opened back up, And so now we're gonna
- 35:06Speaker 1: see the real things of it. And what Muller said
- 35:10Speaker 1: he couldn't do, somebody may be able to do. So
- 35:13Speaker 1: he's got to try to figure a way out of that.
- 35:15Speaker 1: But he will not get out of the stuff in
- 35:17Speaker 1: New York problem. Sorry, sorry, you know, you should have
- 35:24Speaker 1: done something about COVID all of that. You you know,
- 35:26Speaker 1: come on, and he's sitting in the White House doing nothing.
- 35:30Speaker 1: He won't give these people a stimulus bill. People are hurting.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Seven hundred more thousand people just file for unemployment. See
- 35:38Speaker 1: them unemployment numbers that came out the other week. I
- 35:40Speaker 1: told y'all they were false. Employment went down because so
- 35:44Speaker 1: many people fell off the record books of unemployment. Now
- 35:48Speaker 1: seven hundred, seven hundred thousand people had to file for
- 35:57Speaker 1: unemployment this week. Yeah, people, the food lines. We need
- 36:01Speaker 1: a stimulus package. He said he wasn't signing a stimulus
- 36:06Speaker 1: package until after the election, after the slash would mean
- 36:09Speaker 1: after I win, God, he lost. He ain't said nothing
- 36:13Speaker 1: about that. He ain't saying nothing about these depths. He
- 36:16Speaker 1: spent six minutes out there at the Soul at the
- 36:19Speaker 1: Veterans trans Memorial Eye. He just went out there to
- 36:22Speaker 1: make a show and he got on in his car.
- 36:23Speaker 1: This dude so fake man full of it. Yeah, it's
- 36:27Speaker 1: just too much. It's exhausting, it really really is. It's
- 36:33Speaker 1: for him. I don't understand. I don't understand and believe him.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Believe How can you believe that everything he says? You know,
- 36:43Speaker 1: but this is one line that you have to prove. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:47Speaker 1: I won, you lost by five million, five million. He's embarrassed.
- 36:55Speaker 1: He's embarrassed. That's all personal problems, you know. Well, you
- 37:01Speaker 1: know what, Steve, We got to see what the people
- 37:03Speaker 1: say and what they think we've been So call us
- 37:07Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve eight seven seven twenty nine,
- 37:11Speaker 1: Steve coming up at twenty minutes after phone calls right
- 37:14Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, So, Carla,
- 37:20Speaker 1: you love comcial anyway? Right, Carla? You love going Rogue.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You're having fun. We all new twenty twenty one Nissan
- 37:33Speaker 1: Rogue Go ahead girl built. Okay, all right, So let
- 37:36Speaker 1: me tell you about this. I love this. I could
- 37:38Speaker 1: do this every day. Listen. So one year I went
- 37:41Speaker 1: to a taping with my girlfriends to the Oprah Winfrey
- 37:45Speaker 1: Show back in the day in Chicago. So we were
- 37:47Speaker 1: standing in line. You know, you gotta do what they
- 37:49Speaker 1: tell you to do to go inside. So the line split,
- 37:52Speaker 1: so my girlfriends they went to the left and then
- 37:55Speaker 1: I went to the right. I went to the other side,
- 37:57Speaker 1: and they was like, get back over here, get on
- 37:59Speaker 1: this side. I said, no, I want to go on
- 38:00Speaker 1: this side. The line short of y'all come over here. Anyway,
- 38:03Speaker 1: they let us in, so they had to go with.
- 38:05Speaker 1: You know, you gotta move with the crowd, move with
- 38:07Speaker 1: the line. So they went to the left and then
- 38:09Speaker 1: I went to the right. We sat down, you know,
- 38:10Speaker 1: because you don't know what the show is about or
- 38:12Speaker 1: anything like that. So as the show was going on,
- 38:16Speaker 1: Oprah comes out into the audience and sits in the audience.
- 38:21Speaker 1: You remember how like American band standing style, and the
- 38:24Speaker 1: clerks sat right in front of me. Turned around, she
- 38:29Speaker 1: looked at me, she said, hey, how you doing. I
- 38:31Speaker 1: turned around. I said me, oh hey, and I looked
- 38:36Speaker 1: at my friends. Nah nah baby. Yes, India Iri and

- 39:02Speaker 1: Now let's go to the phones. We're gonna get rogue.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Right here, go Rogue to the phone. Let's go to Steve. Right,
- 39:09Speaker 1: games are just for you. Line one. Let's go to
- 39:12Speaker 1: Linnie out of Tampa. Hey, Lonnie, what's going on? Man? Hey? Man?
- 39:20Speaker 1: I heard the funny thing on talk radio, Conservative radio
- 39:23Speaker 1: of the day and almost wrecked my car. Be mad
- 39:27Speaker 1: about the election, right right? So dude calling in, he said,
- 39:31Speaker 1: what tell how you feel? The dude say, you know,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I'm starting to question God. Yeah, wow, wow, line laws
- 39:46Speaker 1: the question God Wow. They can't take it. Oh please, man,
- 39:51Speaker 1: not on on Trumps. When it comes to Donald Trump.
- 39:54Speaker 1: You need to thank God. Amen? Amen? Amen again. Enough
- 39:59Speaker 1: is enough, man, had enough of this guy. We've had
- 40:01Speaker 1: enough of the divisiveness that hatred, the unpresidential manner. He's
- 40:08Speaker 1: just he's just not a good person. That's the part
- 40:11Speaker 1: that throws me about people who vote for Trump. He's
- 40:16Speaker 1: not a good person. Man. Yeah, all right, coming up

- 40:59Speaker 1: that's sweet. Um being from Alabama. You know, I hope
- 41:04Speaker 1: one day before I leave this third all. I looked

- 41:11Speaker 1: Jimmy Carter, But before I leave the third I hope
- 41:15Speaker 1: to see all was av a third blue again. Okay,
- 41:18Speaker 1: that probably ain't happen, but you know that could happen.
- 41:22Speaker 1: It could because I didn't think we'd have a black
- 41:24Speaker 1: president in my lifetime. So highly possible. Man. All we
- 41:27Speaker 1: gotta do is keep voting, is keep voting. We just
- 41:31Speaker 1: had to keep voting. Man, It's gonna happen for us.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Brother Marl Luther King said, I may not get to

- 46:39Speaker 1: This came from Will Packer And he lets me know
- 46:41Speaker 1: how he didn't you know, he got all these shows
- 46:43Speaker 1: fing to happen on own. And I'm like, hey, man,
- 46:45Speaker 1: congratulations to your brother. Keep doing what you're doing. And
- 46:48Speaker 1: then he gives me a call and he says, Tommy,
- 46:51Speaker 1: I said, yeah, what's going on? Man? Hey man, it's

- 47:34Speaker 1: Police Department. Yes, okay, wanted to give you a call. Man.
- 47:39Speaker 1: We have your husband, mister Calvin. Is there any way
- 47:43Speaker 1: you can actually come down to the police station today? Calvin?
- 47:50Speaker 1: Is he Calvin? Okay? We have Calvin. He's been picked
- 47:56Speaker 1: up for a Class C mister meanor and I wanted
- 48:00Speaker 1: to see if you're able to pick him up. We're
- 48:02Speaker 1: not going to press charges. There is a two hundred
- 48:04Speaker 1: and fifty dollars fine that needs to be paid, but well,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I'm giving you a call. He asked me to call
- 48:09Speaker 1: his wife to see if you would actually come and
- 48:11Speaker 1: pick him up. So it's a two hundred and fifty
- 48:13Speaker 1: dollars fine. Do something as I get there. Yes, we
- 48:17Speaker 1: do need two hundred and fifty dollar fine, okay, Lord,
- 48:20Speaker 1: because I don't. I don't have it. I'm not to
- 48:22Speaker 1: call his mom and get it. What is he there for? Uh?
- 48:26Speaker 1: He was in decent exposure, ma'am. He was in a park.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Are you familiar with Lakeside Park? Yeah? Okay, he was
- 48:33Speaker 1: out at Lakeside Park and he was in decent exposure.
- 48:36Speaker 1: He had no clothes on. He was with another person,
- 48:40Speaker 1: another female, out there, and they had no clothes on.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, hole, the hell up? You up had
- 48:47Speaker 1: make a big mistake because Calvin supposed to h work,
- 48:50Speaker 1: That's what hell. Calvin's supposed to be, not at a car.
- 48:54Speaker 1: So you saying that you saw him? Were you caring?
- 48:59Speaker 1: Are you? It's not a detective, that was actual police
- 49:01Speaker 1: officer man that actually brought them in. They're both were
- 49:04Speaker 1: brought in here, um about two hours ago. He's been processed.
- 49:09Speaker 1: He has been processed, but we need somebody to actually
- 49:12Speaker 1: come pick him up. Now take this get okay, well
- 49:14Speaker 1: kill me. What are the two of the females? What's
- 49:17Speaker 1: the female name? Is l too? With him? She has
- 49:20Speaker 1: been arrested. She's actually on the other side of the jail.
- 49:23Speaker 1: She's on the woman women's side. Okay, can you get
- 49:26Speaker 1: in that name? I do not have her name in
- 49:28Speaker 1: front of me. I will be able to have that
- 49:30Speaker 1: a little later or um, but right now, I think
- 49:33Speaker 1: more importantly, he's he's actually sitting in a holding tank
- 49:35Speaker 1: with no clothes on. So I wait a minute, I
- 49:38Speaker 1: mean Calvin then lost his gout nine. I'm not coming
- 49:42Speaker 1: to pick him up. Let me carry you. What you
- 49:45Speaker 1: need to be killing Calvin. You need to tell Calvin
- 49:48Speaker 1: that he need to come up with two hundred and
- 49:50Speaker 1: fifty dollars to get something. You just gotta sit over
- 49:53Speaker 1: and any need to come up with some more money
- 49:55Speaker 1: to take for this divorce because I'm handing him taper
- 49:58Speaker 1: and you killing him. Yea, yeah, I'm doing this all.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna call his mama and she can come get this.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I know well Tavin ever walk this clothes down the
- 50:07Speaker 1: way he gets this one. Bro, if I was out
- 50:11Speaker 1: of guy to see that, you know that's what they
- 50:13Speaker 1: taken now you know what. Yeah, we'll call his mom
- 50:16Speaker 1: and I'm gonna tell she's gonna believe me because I
- 50:18Speaker 1: wanted to bring her. Don't know if she always on
- 50:21Speaker 1: the side to see she always on his side, So
- 50:23Speaker 1: I want to take her on the fair feet or
- 50:26Speaker 1: so with his head up that naked, and then and
- 50:29Speaker 1: then and then she let him explain that, Yeah, but
- 50:31Speaker 1: he got coming you kill turf. You make sure you
- 50:34Speaker 1: tell him that I said. Then you get him about
- 50:37Speaker 1: this situation. I'm not coming to get him and he
- 50:40Speaker 1: ain't bringing it back here, bring up want okay? Uh,
- 50:45Speaker 1: miss miss Breed, all right, I just got some paperwork
- 50:49Speaker 1: in here about who the actual female he he was
- 50:54Speaker 1: arrested with. She was also out there at Lakeside Park.
- 50:57Speaker 1: And uh, let's see here. It seems like we gotta
- 51:03Speaker 1: miss Francis Francis. Uh who Francis? You shore you found
- 51:14Speaker 1: a Francis naked? Yes, ma'am? Are you? I'm sorry? Do

- 56:18Speaker 1: The strawbaby letter subject. I couldn't give her a baby,
- 56:22Speaker 1: but he did. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a fifty three
- 56:25Speaker 1: year old man and my fiance is thirty five. We've
- 56:28Speaker 1: been together for four years, and from the beginning she
- 56:31Speaker 1: told me she wanted to be a mother. I was
- 56:34Speaker 1: married before, and I've got three children, and I've had
- 56:37Speaker 1: a vasectomy. As our relationship got serious, I told her
- 56:41Speaker 1: I could get my vasectomy reversed and I would give
- 56:45Speaker 1: her a baby. I visited my doctor and I was
- 56:48Speaker 1: told that I had a bit of scar tissue from
- 56:50Speaker 1: the surgery, so it could not be reversed. I was
- 56:54Speaker 1: scared to tell my girlfriend, thinking it would be a dealbreaker,
- 56:57Speaker 1: but she took the news well and told me there
- 56:59Speaker 1: are many other ways for her to have a baby.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I didn't really think about what she said, but a
- 57:05Speaker 1: few months later I saw what she meant. I had
- 57:10Speaker 1: just proposed and I got a hotel suite to celebrate.
- 57:14Speaker 1: She threw up all night, and she didn't drink any champagne.
- 57:17Speaker 1: The next morning, I asked her if she was pregnant,
- 57:20Speaker 1: and she admitted that she was. She told me she'd
- 57:24Speaker 1: been thinking about her biological clock ticking, so she took
- 57:27Speaker 1: matters into her own hands and asked her boyfriend to
- 57:30Speaker 1: go half on a baby her ex boyfriend. Yeah, asked
- 57:35Speaker 1: her ex boyfriend. That's very important. I couldn't believe it.
- 57:39Speaker 1: But what's more shocking than that is the fact that
- 57:42Speaker 1: I'm still with her despite what my friends and families think.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I'm going to support her and raise the child. The
- 57:49Speaker 1: only problem is that her ex boyfriend doesn't want me
- 57:51Speaker 1: to adopt the baby. He wants the child to have
- 57:54Speaker 1: his last name. Should I fight him on this or
- 57:57Speaker 1: should I cancel my wedding plans and them raise their
- 58:01Speaker 1: child together? I say no, do not fight him on anything.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Your fight is not with him. It's with her, your
- 58:09Speaker 1: trifling fiance. Sorry to say that, but she's the one
- 58:13Speaker 1: that brought her ex into this situation and he's making
- 58:18Speaker 1: demands now. I mean, I think this is such a
- 58:20Speaker 1: selfish move on her part. And on the other hand,
- 58:25Speaker 1: you offered to reverse your vasectomy for her, offered to
- 58:29Speaker 1: raise the child with her. I think you're a really
- 58:32Speaker 1: good man. I think you are. She knew you had
- 58:36Speaker 1: a vasectomy. I'm sure when you guys got together, you've
- 58:38Speaker 1: been together for four years. She's created this big mess.
- 58:42Speaker 1: I think she should have discussed her options with you
- 58:45Speaker 1: and you guys, meaning you and her, could have discussed
- 58:48Speaker 1: this and decided on this together. I think her ex
- 58:52Speaker 1: needs to back up. The baby isn't even born yet,
- 58:55Speaker 1: so he doesn't have any rights right now. She's married
- 59:00Speaker 1: to you, or she's going to get married to you.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I think he's causing major problems, and he will when
- 59:06Speaker 1: the baby gets here. I think it's up to you
- 59:08Speaker 1: if you want him in the baby's life. But really,
- 59:12Speaker 1: I say to you, let her go, Let her go.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I mean, this is a mess, and she created it.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I think there are plenty of women who want a
- 59:21Speaker 1: good man like you the length you would go to
- 59:24Speaker 1: for this woman. I'm sure if you love someone else,
- 59:26Speaker 1: you would do the same thing. I think, yes, she
- 59:28Speaker 1: and her ex can raise this baby together, since they
- 59:31Speaker 1: got together without your knowledge and you know, created this baby. Steve,
- 59:41Speaker 1: I have a different take on this letter. First of all, bro,
- 59:49Speaker 1: I couldn't give her a baby, but she did the
- 59:52Speaker 1: fifty three year old man got a fiance thirty five.
- 59:55Speaker 1: That's what you call age reversal. You know, at sixty two,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I was working out with my assistant who was twenty six.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: That's age reversal. That's you know, you have some of
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: those ages. Like if you're seventy three and you know
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: somebody thirty seven, you know, it's a little funny little thing.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: If you're twenty five and you know somebody fifty two,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: it's called age reversal. A fun thing I do sometimes
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: with people i'm around, just called age reversal. When your relationship,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: that's tough because that age reversal is real. So now
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: she wants something that you can't give her a baby
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: because you had a visecting me because you was married
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: before and you got three kids. Now you can't get
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to visecting me undone because you got some scar tissue.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So you go and you tell her, but you're scared
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to tell her because you think it's a deal breaker,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: and it was. It was exactly that, a damn deal breaker.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: But she took the news weather well, you know why,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: because she went, Okay, that ain't got nothing to do
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: with me. And then she told you it was other
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: ways to have a baby. What out of the way
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: if you gotta resect me, it's the only other way
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to have a baby. Ain't gonna had nothing to do
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: with you. So I said, okay, bro, I ain't whatever
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you are. You ain't think nothing about it. Then you
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: proposed to her. You got a hotel suite. She threw
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: up all night, didn't drink no champagne. Next morning, you
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: asked her if she was pregnant, and she admitted she was.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: It's a lot missing in this letter, but okay, dog,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: she just said yeah. She told me that she'd been
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: thinking about her biological clock, so she took matters into
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: her own hands and asked her ex boyfriend to go
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: half on her baby. Didn't. Next line this dude wrote
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: was I couldn't believe it. It's so much in this letter.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I can't believe. I can't believe you had the first
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: moment of disbelief in this damn letter. I come back
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: on straighten it all out. Part two of Steve's response,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after I couldn't give
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: her a baby, but he did coming back right after this.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve, Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject I couldn't give
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: her a baby, but he did so this fifty three
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: year old man got a fiance this thirty five. Each
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: reversal don't ever work out. Usually she won't have a baby.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: But he'd been married before and he got three kids,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: so he had a vasectomy. Then the relationship got serious
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: between him and the young girl, and she wanted to
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: have a baby, so he said he'll get his vasectomy reversed.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: He went to the doctor. He got some scar tissue,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: so he can't reverse the surgery. He was scared to
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: tell his girlfriend because she thought it would be who
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: thought it would be a deal breaker. We find out
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it was. He told her. She took the news rather
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: well and then said to him soon as he told
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: him that there's other ways, you know, to have a baby, Well,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I didn't really think about it. And so then for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a few months, then he found out what she meant.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: He just proposed to this woman. They got a hotel
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: room to celebrate. She threw up all night. She ain't
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: drank no champagne. Then next morning I asked her if
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: she was pregnant. She admitted that she was. She told
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: me that she'd been thinking about her biological clock, so
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: she took matters into her own hands here we go
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: and asked her ex boyfriend to go half on a baby.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Then the dude in the letter guess what he said.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it. Old yeah, but now his was
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: more shocking than that. He said, it's the fact that
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I'm still with her despite what my friends and family think.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I'm going to support her and raise the child. What okay, food?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: See this this way, I have to not look. Let's
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: listen to me. Y'all can think it's noble and all
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: of that if you want to. But they wrote in
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: to the Strawberry letter to me and Sheley. I thank
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you a damn fool. What is wrong with you? You
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: know Sherley can have her opinion, and because there's nobody
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: right in this letter, you have to write to your opinion.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: But I see this totally different. Man. First of all, man,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: what the hell are you talking about? And then come
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: talking about and and and despite what my friends and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: family think, I'm gonna support me with. Why are you
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: telling everybody you're stupid? Right there? Your friends and family. Man,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: you know she didn't win and have this baby on me,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: But I'm gonna raise it and support it because you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: know what a lot of your friends and family that
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: said what I said, You're a damned fool. What's wrong
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: with you? Man? What the trust factor? Here? The deceit here? What?
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: When was she gonna tell you she was pregnant? Right?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: When was she gonna tell you she was just gonna
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: show up and start showing. When was she gonna tell you, dog,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and you gotta vasectomy that can't be reversed, you can't
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: have a baby. When was she gonna tell you? Why
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: did she not bring the plan to you to see
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: if it was okay with you? Because she didn't care
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: what you thought. You took your old ass down and
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: find out you couldn't get the vsectomy reverse. Now you're
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: not talking to me. Thought it would be a deal breaker.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Now here's the look, Now here's the problem. The only problem?
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Is this the only problem? Boy? There's so many problems
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: in this damn letter. He get down to the bottom.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: He say, the only problem is that her ex boyfriend
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: doesn't want me to adopt a baby. He wants a
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: child to have his name. Should I fight him on this?
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Or should I cancel my wedding plans and let them
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: raise their child together? Wait a minute, man, let's go back.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: The only problem is that her ex boyfriend doesn't want
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: me to adopt a baby. It's his baby. This is
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: what you don't understand. This ex boyfriend ain't creating a problem.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: This ex boyfriend is going along with what he said
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: he was gonna do. See you stupid? Now? Should I
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: fight him? Fight him? Fight him with what's his baby?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: He don't want you to adopt it. He wants the
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: baby to have his last name because it's his damn baby?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And should you fight him? And do you know why
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the ex boyfriend don't want you to adopt the baby?
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Do you know why the ex boyfriend wants the baby
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to have his last name? Because you don't know what
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the agreement was between your fiance and her ex boyfriend
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: when she proposed to him to go half on the baby.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: What the hell does that mean? This is a life, man,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: This ain't a car. You ain't written apartment nowhere. Let's
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: go half on the rent. You try to calm Thursdays
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: and Wednesdays. I get it on a weekend. This is
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: a baby. You can't go half on the baby. That's
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: a song. Yes, that's a stupid ass song. Yeah, listen
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: to me. You don't even know what the agreement was, bro,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: So you're losing this battle. And then he don't want
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: you to adopt a baby. You can't adopt a baby
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: that belongs to another man who wants to be in
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: his life. You don't have a fight here, dog. He
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: wants to hit child to have his last name because
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: it's his, and they went half on the baby. Should
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I fight for him? Or should I cancel my wedding plane.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: You don't have no wedding, dog, You ain't got no wife.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: And I let them raise their child together, Yeah, ain't no.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Did she come to you and ask you to help
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: raise it? You volunteered to raise the child. She didn't
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: ask you that. All right? Coming up at forty six
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll have more of a Steve
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Morning Show. Okay, I have to start the story by
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: just saying, oh Lord, thank you Jesus. All right, Denzel
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Washington and his family are safe. Yeah. Los Angeles Fire
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: crew you film with Carla. Los Angeles fire crews responded
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to a possible fire at his thirty five million dollar home.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Denzel's family escaped safely. Smoke bellowed from a second floor
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: window of his four story mansion. Fire inspectors searched inside
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: the walls, believing that embers may be smoldering and causing
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the smoke, and it was determined the smoke was caused
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: to buy furnaces in the home that were recently serviced.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: It's been cold this week for Los Angeles residents, and
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: temperatures have been stuck in the sixties during the day,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: but have dropped into the fifties and forties overnight. Again.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I say, oh Lord, thank you Jesus. Yes, yeah, I

- 1:10:22Speaker 1: just like hi, panting louder and both of y'all at
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the same time, like y'all had been on the dog
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: track somewhere and getting chased by wolves. It was Denzel,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: what did you want us to do? Oh my god, Holdel,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: I said, hold hold up, wait, wait, hold on. But
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: Steve didn't reduce us to Denzel. We ain't got time
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: for that. What you mean you ain't got time? He
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: was leaning against that, Paul he was did then come in, man,

- 1:13:28Speaker 1: want you to know that that's true. Keep saying that
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: because I believe in that, and some boxers have been

- 1:13:36Speaker 1: to you, Steve, was this, When you talk about that
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: um and you talk about Jesus, I realize that when

- 1:13:44Speaker 1: of people have praying, praying parents, and a lot of
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: times from up above, they still praying for us. And
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: that's why the Boxers do stuff still continues to open.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Stee blessed, love you guys. Thank you man. That's the
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: true state. John. Yeah, I know for a fact my

- 1:18:55Speaker 1: he kind of whispers in my ear Stevie Wonder would

- 1:19:26Speaker 1: one of me to escort him on stage. You know,
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Stevie always has someone escort him on the stage. He
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: picked me that night. Yeah, oh my god, remember that.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Oh my god. He didn't know who I was. He
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: asked for me, don't try to kill my dream? Uh
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: this whole time? Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: But yeah, that was my go rogue story. I mean
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I ended up just escorting him on stage. When when
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I left, he gave me a kiss and he got
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: on the piano. I think he started playing. Uh I don't,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Oh my god, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, all I do.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Maybe maybe that's what it was. But anyway, that that
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: was a moment for me. It really really was. So
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: check out this so cool it really Oh god, I'll
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: never forget that I had on that sharp truth dress. Girl,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: I remember, girl. Anyway, Go Rogue, Go Rogue, Go rogue
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: with the twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue. Who love it?
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: That's I know. I don't. I don't think Steve you
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: knew at first, because you were you were telling me
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: to get off the stage. What are you doing on
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: stage with Stevie wonder? And I was like, he asked
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: me to come up here. I'm not just up here.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Oh dear, Stevie wondered, let me go on stage with him? Oh, oh,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: it ain't. It ain't beneath y'all. No, no it's not.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: But at that time, well you gotta shoot your shot. Yes, yes,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: but that that was quite a moment. Yeah, when he
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: asked me that, yeah, all good, all good, all good.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: We were all excited. I was like, oh, no, you're
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: not gonna believe what just happened, Stevie. I remember that.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: My mouth dropped over what is she doing? It was fun, though,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: That was such fun. Yeah, yeah, it really was. It
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: really really was. Yep. So Steve, we have you to
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: thank for Denzel. We'll never forget that, and we have
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: to take thanks to take thanks Steve for a lot
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: of just baller moments. Yes, yes, yes, uh, thanks more
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: to come. Yeah yeah. If it wasn't if it wasn't
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: for you, we wouldn't even going to Paris. Only oh
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: we did Africa? Yes, okay, God, Cabo Bahamas. All right,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: coming up, last break of the day and some closing
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only we love you, Steve Harvey.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve? Here we
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: are our last break of the day, our last break
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: of the week. What a week it has been, and
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: it's crazy. Hey, we have some voter information for Georgia,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: because we really want to get this understood. There is
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: a runoff for two Senate seats in the state of
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Georgia on January fifth. Now, all of our listening audience
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: is not in Georgia. They are all over the country.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: But everybody got somebody in Georgia. Call them, get on them.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: Let them understand that you're watching them, you need them,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: and you counting on them. Call all your people in Georgia.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: Here's the deal. To vote in the January fifth election,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: you must be registered no later than December seventh. So
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: there were a lot of people, believe it or not,
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: who set out this presidential election for whatever the reason.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: You have a chance to write that wrong, to correct
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: that mistake. We forgive you for not voting, We forgive
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you for sitting it out, and let bygones be bygones.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: But in the words of all, set do something to
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: feel like you are a part of something. This gives
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you a chance to be a part of something. This
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: is all to me and to my listeners and my
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: people that I'm talking to This is all a part
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: of Black Lives Matter. We sent a clear and concise
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: message to them that black lives matter, and we had
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the help of millions of non black people who came
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to our aid and assistance with this Black Lives Matter.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: We had a millions of non African Americans who came
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: today to this country and voted for Biden Harris ticket.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: But why do I know that because there are approximately
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: give a take, unlike the election millionhire millionaire, thirty five
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: thirty six million Black people in the United States of America.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: The man won the vote by seventy five million. Certainly
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: all thirty six million black people are not able to
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: vote because of age problems. Most of my kids right
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: to camp vote and register. So we had a lot
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: of everybody who caused this election to turn out. But
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: if you watch the election in real time, like all
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: of us did. You watched Michigan turn blue because of
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Wayne County, because of Detroit Flint. You understand they showed up,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: and they showed up and they began a landslide. Then
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: you watch them come down here to Atlanta and all
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: of a sudden to turn about began, which Savannah with
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Columbus with Atlanta, foot and County to cab all of
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: that Atlanta showed up. And then you turned around and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: watched the same thing happened in Philly and in all
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: those cities. They went to the urban areas. You already
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: know who that is. Let's stop playing. You already know
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: who that is. So we watched ourselves. We watched the
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: power of what our vote can do. Now we have
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: unfinished business because now that Biden and Harris is going
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: to be the next president vice president, we have to
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: help him get these measures through. Look at what this
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: administration is doing right now. They don't mention COVID. COVID
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: is running rampant in this country. It's out of control.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: They don't mention that they have not mentioned the stimulus package. Man,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: down are people in this country that need help. They
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: ain't brought up healthcare since they lost. He ain't left
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: the White House to talk about nothing, went out there
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: and did that fake ceremony for six minutes for a
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: trans day to track like he cared, which he really don't.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: And other than that, you ain't heard nothing about he wanted.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: He's shame a fox, he madness, a fake election. Hey, brother,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: brother's people still dying in this country and people turning
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: up six and we're in the crisis of you're not
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: mentioning it because all he worried about it, whether you're
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: gonna get back in office. We have an obligation in
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Georgia to help Biden and Harris have a mandate where
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: they can get some things done, and we need these
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: two Senate seats. So in Georgia, we are voting for
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Assoft and we are voting for Warning, Raphael Warning and
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Assoft what's his first name, John John usoft Ossoft and
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Raphael Warning. That's who we're voting for, and we're gonna replace.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: We're gonna we're gonna get them two Senate seats and
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: we're gonna get some real things done. Now, you have
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: until December seven to register to early vote in Georgia.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: You have from December fourteenth to December thirty first to
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: early vote, and you can vote early. We're gonna get
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: it done. If you miss all that January fifth, we're
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: gonna be in line and we're gonna get it done.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: Not listen to me, young people. I want to say
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: this to you. Every generation has the dumb and ignorant
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: amongst them. Every generation. My generation had it, and they
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: had a voice. It is amazing how the dumb and
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: ignorant voice is heard above the calm of reason and
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: love and logic. And you have them amongst you. I'm
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: not gonna call them out. You know who they are, y'all.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: Young y'all been buying the music, listening to them talk
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: and all this here. But you have the dumb and
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: the ignorant amongst you, just like we had them amongst us.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Everybody got a microphone, don't need to talk into it.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: And just because you can make a hit, don't mean
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: you can make sense. Hey, man, y'all start thinking more
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: seriously and put some checks and balances in place for
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: these people. If you ain't with us, then who you with?
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: If you ain't for us, then who you fall. It's amazing, man,
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: how people get some money and then forget about what
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: it took to get that to the money, and forget
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: about the people that steal in the hustling grind trying
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: to make their money. Now all of a sudden, you
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: got enough money to say I don't give a damn,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: So now you don't give a damn. That ain't right, man,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Call out those people. In your generation that are the
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: dumb and the ignorant amongst you, and you all with
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: good sense, do the right thing. We got to vote.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: Voting changes things. That's all I got to say. I
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: can't stand dumb and ignorant people. I can't stand on
